I am at a complete loss for words with the inexcusable broken promises Ashley's furniture has given for a customer who spent over $5,000 to furnish a home. Our first delivery was over a month ago; within that first delivery we received 2 wobbly barstools, 1 wobbly chair and a defective bookcase. The delivery team let us know that they scheduled technicians to go out and repair the defective items since they would not replace them even though we bought them brand new...I patiently waited a few days for the repair team to come out and no one showed up. I called the customer service department and they didn't know why the repair crew didn't show up - so, we scheduled for a second time, and guess what? No one showed up again. The third time around I went directly into the store (thinking it would make a difference) and had them schedule the repair team to come out again; guess what? No one showed up...3 strikes and I'm out, I guess? I took 2 days off of work (the first time I was luckily scheduled off) to wait for repairs of furniture that I paid my hard earned money for. I got off the phone with their customer service department about 30 minutes before I started this review. They apologized and offered me a 100 dollar gift card and a request to try to get the defective products replaced. I asked to speak to a supervisor and unfortunately there wasn't one available. The customer service agent assured that I will be getting a call the next day (I am not hopeful). I have spent an average of 30 minutes each time I called their customer service department just to speak to someone. When you add up the amount of times I went into the store to correct errors on charges, price matching their own website, waiting for the repair team who never showed up 3 times now, and the time I've spent either waiting to speak to someone over the phone or actually being on the phone with them, it would make any consumer sick. Your move, Ashley's. Make this right.
Just came out and fully cancelled my order. The furniture store itself wasn’t too bad but their delivery team is horrible. No customer service and no one ever ever ever calls back to do a follow up. Scheduled delivery twice, cancelled twice without notification so waste my time and all the phone calls we have to make. All they say is so sorry for inconvenience. Every person I talk to is always lying to cover their ***. Took a month without furniture. So finally given up and got a refund.

SAVE YOUR MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!!! Read the reviews below before buying!!!!! theres “no pick up in store” instead they give you a chance to spin a wheel that lets you get 5% to 10% and others, to compensate for the delivery fee $69.99. So they force it down your throat, because it’s a business practice. Impractical though DONT BUY FROM THE STORE EITHER BECAUSE THE ONLINE CATALOG AND LOCATION DIFFERS!!!!! In prices!!!!!
Furniture is too old fashion.
It should allow me to choose negative star or at least zero! Because that what they deserve! Each time I come to the store to solve my problem I find some other customers complaining! Some cancel there orders and some can’t! In fact I my self wanted to cancel my order after they couldn’t deliver it on time but unfortunately they convinced me to give them another chance! I wish I didn’t! I am suffering since then! I am writing this review while I’m in the store for at least 9 times for different issues and I am not alone who had this experience!
I ordered a table and chairs from the Montclair store and the sales person did not add the table base on the list to be ordered...The person delivering it told me that I had to get ahold of the store to resolve this issue...I have been on hold for 15 minutes now with no one to help...I am having a party on Saturday with nothing in my living room but a table top and 8 chairs...never have I been so upset and disappointed in a service...and still on hold trying to get this resolved...worst service ever!!! ***UPDATE*** So I finally got ahold of someone and they told me that the missed base was in stock but they couldn’t deliver it until the following Tuesday but if I wanted to pick it up I could drive out to Colton to pick it up and it would be ready when I got here...they did not know what I was talking about when I arrived so I am still waiting for them to pull the base from their inventory...this is the worst treatment I have ever received. I understand that mistakes happen but wouldn’t you think that they would at least work with the customer on getting it resolved? Worst service ever!!!

Horrible customer service! Overpriced, cheap, wobbly, thin furniture. Not even willing to pick up old matresses and given the run-around. Absolutely will never buy furniture from Ashley ever! Better off going to Mathis Brothers or Living Spaces, so much better quality and customer service!

We got a 14 piece deal and we are fine with the furniture and what we paid for. We knew what we were getting. This bad review is for the delivery and customer service. I had 2 individuals (driver & helper) setup the furniture. One of the tables had a scratch and when I pointed it out driver said it was probably glue to just wipe it off. I explained that i could feel the scratch with my nail and they then examined the scratch. Driver seems to not care and doesn't want to deal with it says just to call customer service so they can replace it. Helper asks driver if he should take a picture and note it. Driver says no and proceeds to leave the house and get in the truck. Helper ignores that and does take a picture and comments that it needs to be replaced. I sign the deal on his mobile device and they are off. I call customer service and after explaining the lady asks why I didn't reject the table. Couple questions 1) who the hell is supposed to tell me that I can reject because the two guys never presented that option. 2) she made it seem like it was my fault because I singed. Now I have to wait for some technician to see if he can fix it. I question how many people are getting screwed by this service and hope they do something about it.
Wish o would have read some of the reviews. That being said. I’ll never buy from a company that ships UPS again. Waiting all day because the app says it’s on the way only to find out (spoke to rep 3 times through out the day) at 730pm that it never made it onto the truck. UPS has done this to us the last three items we’ve had delivered and I know the companies using them are getting the complaints but all they care about is the sale. Well you got the sale but you lost a future customer.
