Very large store. We went in looking for a specific couch. We found one we liked, and after getting excited, we were told it's not in stock anymore. BUT we ended up finding one we like better. And the manager threw in the warrantee for free as a wedding gift to us. We will come back in years to come.

We came to get a new desk and we had the pleasure to be assisted by Donald. By far the best experience we have had when it comes in buying furniture. He took the time to go into details on what we had chosen and he got us such an amazing deal that we left with also a bed! We will be back to furnished all of our house.

Horrible experience, was walking around four half an hour, ignored by employees. Asked to speak with a manager and he was too busy for my concern. Thank you for nothing and we will not be back. Too bad for them. Had 3000 in my pocket

Was just recently in there purchasing furniture for my new home. Spent thousands of dollars on bedroom sets, dining furniture sets etc. Upon delivery, items were missing. I gave them a call, they put CANDY (our sales rep) on the phone and instead of assisting to resolve the issue, she started arguing and being completely rude! I don't know what kind of people run that place, but they clearly do not practice customer service. Never went back to get those missing items.

I recently bought the Waurika table set and server. While the store, I asked Audrey when the furniture can be delivered. After checking it's availability 1st in their computer, she told me 11/1/2014.. TODAY! Right! Yes, she said they make deliveries Saturdays and she assured me my table will be delivered TODAY. Someone will call the day before and schedule the delivery time. NO ONE called. I call right at 10am and some woman who didn't introduce herself and kept keeping me on hold, was telling me a whole different story that there is no guarantee blah blah blah. NOPE! That is not acceptable. Audrey is given the phone, I remnd her she assured me delivery was 11/01/2014 3 times. She says she'll talk to the unknown manager, calls me back & says delivery is Wednesday 11/06/2014! I am not happy that me & my kids have no dining table to eat on til' then and told Audrey that. And if only I could return the furniture, I certainly will right now! Freakin" coward he/she manager doesn't even know to talk to the me himself/herself regarding my complaint! "My manager said this and that...." talk to the customer yourself! Now that's the worse customer service ever! I wondered why customer rating was at 2.5 this past Wednesday. Now I'm finding out. Today's Saturday and rating is even lower, down to a 1.6! I'd like to believe that you people of Ashley are good enough to try to make it up to your customers but it seems like all you care about is your commissions! They say clearance & final sale just so you can't return the furniture no matter what! If I didn't believe cussing is bad, I've had cussed you people to nth time. Beware! Lesson learned!

I made a purchase at the end of March, they advised that the furniture wasn't available until May 21st and I agreed to wait until then. Come May 21st, they advised it wasn't going to be available until June 10th. I was a little upset but I said ok. On June 10th, Ashley Furniture called me and said it was pushed back until July 1st and I asked them to cancel the order. The representative over the phone asked if it would be okay to give me a call back to see if they could expedite the order and I agreed. I never received a return phone call and the Director gave me a call the following night and told me that his team would call me in the morning. The following morning I didn't receive a call so I went back to the store in person and asked them to cancel the order. The store rep said I would get a call back from Corporate with a confirmation number, and I received NOTHING. Two days later I called corporate and they told me they had no cancelation request on file. I asked the rep over the phone to cancel my order and she told me they needed a Manager's approval! I had enough with this bad company. I went to Jerome's Furniture on tuesday and they delivered on Friday!! You could tell when a company actually wants to do business. If you read this, I recommend that you try purchasing through Jerome's furniture and save the headache. I'm still waiting for Ashley to refund my money... smh

I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing a kitchen table from them. The salesman left to complete paper work and when he returned, I was sitting on a couch and he couldn't see me. He said to himself, "where is she" and then said to himself, "where in the hell is she?" That should have been my first clue to walk out of the the store. He apologized and I accepted his apology. They text me a delivery time and at the last minute changed it to another 4hr window which caused me to have to stay home the entire day. I called and let them know there was no delivery. They said we will call back but didn't call back. At 7pm I left to get a bite to eat and at that time they called and said they were at my house. I rushed home only to find they weren't there. I called the store and they said they couldn't return and that I would still be charged the $199. Set up and delivery fee. We went back and forth about the next delivery date. She'd ask me and any day I asked she said it couldn't be done. So I told her, " okay then you set the date!" So delivery should be in in two weeks. I'm completely perplexed at the way they do business! I should have used the the family owned business down the street or Amazon. They have the same items.

Do not go to this store they are dishonest and will rip you off. They made it seem like they were reducing prices for me. How ever when I went home and looked on line I realized they only lowered prices to the actual sales price. That was shame on me for not doing my homework. When they delivered my furniture it was with two men who could not speak English. It was difficult to communicate where and how we wanted our furniture set up. Then they didn't deliver all the furniture. When I called their solution was "well you can always cancel your purchase" NO I WANT THE FURNITURE I PAID FOR! We had to set another date where my wife had to wait at home all day for their delivery service because they can't commit to times. Several weeks later I received another bill after I thought we paid in full. Turns out the deal we made with sales person was not what we actually paid for. Their recipes are very confusing they come at you with dozen pages with prices. Then you negotiate and they come back with another dozen pages. We thought we were paying for one price but at the end of several dozen pages back and forth got another price. We ended up paying $800 more than we actually thought the sale was. When I went back to the store nothing could be done because my signature was on the dozen page receipt. Shame on me again...... the manager said he wad very sorry for the confusion but come see him if I ever wanted mor furniture. @#*! YOU! We will never shop this dishonest store again they swindled and took advantage of us!

I can't believe how awful the experience has been with this store, and the company as a whole. My mother-in-law was planning to buy my boys a dresser for Christmas, and spent way too much time and hassle at the store just trying to order it, and even after all that, we have wasted so much time on the phone with customer service (where the people on the phone don't seem to be trained in customer service) to try to sort out how two different dates and times for delivery had been given. No one knew how this was possible, and because the time and hassle became too great, my mother-in-law canceled the order with a manager at the store. STILL I got a call that the dresser is being delivered today and again, no one at the store can tell me why.

The worst shopping experience in my entire life. never buy anything from these scam artists! I wish with all my heart that they go out of business forever and all the scammed customers like my wife and I will be refunded our thousands of dollars spent on furniture guaranteed with a FAKE protection plan called guardsman. Terrible customer service by the manager (he was the night manager on 11/30/2016). He should've been apologetic for causing me a huge inconvenience (after purchasing 2 bedrooms), but instead he was yelling at me. My aunt was with me, and she said "I was scared of him." I will be talking to his supervisor tomorrow. I will update this post if there are any changes. I was going to give them a 5 star because the worker Christian helped me a lot, was very patient, and made sure that I got the best deal possible. Also, the other store manager, Tom, was great, funny, friendly and super helpful. I was so happy with everything, till tonight.... the night manager that I mentioned in the beginning ruined my whole experience.

My fiance and I bought a bed from Ashley, we ended up returning it before it was even delivered. All the negative reviews you hear about customer service are true. Awful experience from start to finish. Please trust your gut and look at the countless negative reviews online.

Truely on of the most disappointing purchases ever. I purchased a new TV stand and was given a delivery date with text and phone confirmations. The delivery date came but no delivery and no notice. We called the useless toll free number (had to hang up 4 times after 20-30 wasted minutes), to find out what happened. With no way to get a agent on the toll free number, we contacted local store and they called back a few hours later stating the item never made the truck and we could reschedule. I decided to call early the next morning (6am PST), and actually got a corporate rep. They investigated and confirmed to me the store was notified by email the delivery would not be made and to give us a call. So much for reading emails at the office. Long story short, I take another day off, have the delivery made a week later and the unit arrives with the mid section installed backwards! I can't install the middle shelf as the mounting holes are on the opposite sides! Resolution? I now have to wait for a repair technician to come to my home (another day off), to repair it. In defence of the local store in Murrieta, they did wave my delivery fee and offered an in store discount card (as of yet not received). Want to avoid aggravation when shopping for furniture, avoid Ashley and look to local vendors. For a company this size claiming to be first rate in quality and service, it's a false equation.
