I would give zero reviews if I could!! NEVER buy furniture from this company. The delivery was short furniture, so we refused it because for hours upon hours (literally) we could not get any supervisor or anyone from any of their stores to answer!! We were transferred to the Philippines countless times and EVERY time we were refused a supervisor!! It’s been two days now, and we still haven’t heard back nor do we have any furniture and they have a Our money!! In my entire life of doing business, I’ve never been refused a supervisor or been able to not get a resolution. They have our money, and we haven’t our furniture. Good luck everyone getting a supervisor, a person directly in the store or any kind of satisfactory customer service. I’m shocked this company is in business!!
Furniture was delivered damaged. The workers took photos of it and no mention of any damaging to it. I was basically accused of damages and I’m still waiting for a new one. Will not recommend store purchases. Call center is a joke. Tried too make a corporate complaint it’s intercepted by call center! Don’t let the smile on crew members very deceiving.

Recently purchased a TempurPedic and had an easy, breezy, informative experience! The staff was knowledgeable and the bed was everything it was purported to be! From purchase to set up, the service was outstanding!
Poor experience. The sales people were not aware of the product that was delivered. We ordered a full size bed frame for our daughter's room. I asked why the receipt states queen sized rails. The salesman said not to worry this was just how things were labelled in their computer system. Once assembled, the bed is a full but the length is a queen. It looks ridiculous and the drawers underneath look ridiculous. When I went back, the manager said yes, indeed, that model comes with queen sized rails the others don’t and they could not refund me. I asked could I at least get full sized rails so the bed looks normal. They said no, I could only buy them since the product I purchased was correct. Just go somewhere better.

The worst customer service ever! Not presenting all the options at the time of purchase, also they postpone the delivery date multiple times! Hard to talk to a customer service! This purchase was our last one from Ashley Store!
The sales team was good to work with. But out of our whole order the one chair was a little too big for our space - They would not allow us to return it. I went and talked to the manager even. But it was a hard no! So I have decided a hard “no” on ever shopping there again. Which is unfortunate for both of us. But I cannot do business with a company that will not allow a return. I have already purchased many other items for our home from other dealers.
Upon our arrival, Fatima welcomed my wife and me with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm! We were excited to see what was in store for us, and she graciously escorted us to the furniture area we had asked about. I truly appreciated how she struck the perfect balance—never pushy or hovering, yet always ready to assist whenever we had a question. They will sell you a sofa but evidently can’t deliver it in the city. After waiting 6 hours past the original scheduled delivery time the drivers showed up and said there was no place to park. They were informed it was a narrow dead end two way street and would have to double park in front of the driveway and unload. But the drivers couldn’t care less. They drove past, called me and said they can’t park and won’t deliver. Someone from Ashley or the delivery company called and said they could reschedule for next Friday and take $30 off for my trouble. REALLY. That’s the best they can do. Do they think the parking will be any different next week. What poor customer service and absolutely shows they couldn’t care less about their customers. Don’t waste your time or money here.

I would not go to Ashley for any home purchases. Especially not the Northridge location. Went there for a mattress and told the lady what we wanted. Not sure if she understood since she didn’t speak that good of English, but claimed this is the best mattress for what we needed. Ended up buying a mattress and a topper which was supposed to be a cooling mattress. Spent more than I ever have on a mattress. After 1 week we called to try to return it since we could not sleep at all, very uncomfortable and hot. (Again was suppose to be a cooling mattress with the topper). They sent out a “mattress tech” to see if it was defective. He told us to go to the store to speak with a manager. Went to the store to speak with the manager Taylor and at first she tried to ask why we waited so long to return it. I told her we purchased it on the 8th, it didn’t get delivered until the 19th, slept on it for a week, called to return it. They sent out a “mattress tech” on the 29th to determine if it was defective, then he said to wait a couple days so he can file his report and go in to talk to the manager and here we are on the 31st. Since he declared it not defective she said we are unable to return it even tho on the website it states you have 30 days. But I guess each store has their own policy. Real cool. Then her suggestion was to buy a more expensive mattress and I’ll get $500 off! Really?!?! Like really, I’m trying to return this and you want me to buy another more expensive mattress. We just walked out. So now we have a mattress that we’re not even sleeping on. I will definitely not be going back and will make sure my friends and family and whoever reads this that I strongly hope you do not come here. Congrats Ashley Furniture for taking my money. You won.

I always love going to Ashley for my furniture needs and ideas. This time didn't disapppint. My boyfriend and I went in to look at area rugs for the living room. Jacob was an amazing help. He walked us over to the hanging rugs in the back and let us browze. Checked in a couple times but gave us our space, logged the choices we liked, and walked around with us while we searched for the actual dimensions we were interested in. He was extremely patient, answered all questions we asked, and was a lot of fun to work with. He even helped us pick out barstools too. Great sales associates always make the shopping experience more enjoyable. Definitely will ask for him when we go back for more items!

We were thinking of upgrading our bed and mattress and decided to browse . We met with Ana who was so friendly, kind, helpful , honest and not pushy. We told her we still had some time to decide and once we were set we would come back to see her. After two months we decided to pull the trigger and I had told my husband I only want to buy it from Ana since she was so amazing and I liked her so much. The ease and speed of applying /approval for credit was very convenient. Huge selection of items to choose . The manager Leah and Ana both went above and beyond to make sure we got the best service, selection and value . We will definitely be returning for future items . Leah was very patient and addressed all our questions and concerns as we had some minor issues with delivery.

Hello everyone out there! I really love customer service. I always feel it’s one of those things we should point out and praise. It’s something that really lacks at major cooperations. However last night as my boyfriend and I were shopping, mainly window shopping as I made returns. I suggested we go into Ashley’s and just look. We’re moving into together and decided before anything else we need a mattress. We really had no intending in buying anything. We didn’t know much about mattresses but that we both needed a restful sleep. You know how the story goes one person always needs a different type of mattress than the other. Anne or Ana I believe greeted and we said just looking. We looked at couches and dining tables but new mattress is what I need over anything. So basically with pillows we tried different mattresses like Goldie locks for fun and needed up with a temperpedic 10degree with the adjustable bed. If you are happy sleeping the way you do you haven’t even really slept until you tested this baby out. I know some reviews have negative comments about the mattress but I think with anyone you get there are things you do to prep it. Give any mattress time. Anyways back to the great and informative customer service. I really enjoyed speaking to our rep and left know a lot more about sleep and what we both needed. We don’t even have a apartment yet but we do a mattress that is def an investment in our sleep! Thank you Taylor and Ana! We can’t wait to come back for our other stuff slowly but surely.

I placed an order over the phone with the Northridge store and they were pretty quick about getting it done. The only thing I need to point out is that when they send the invoice, they automatically select the most expensive shipping option where they unpack and place the furniture in your home for you. They don’t give you the choice to choose this service or not, and it is not itemized online. So be wary of this. If you don’t want this you will have to ask to take it off specifically. It’s a very sneaky business practice that needs to stop immediately.

We came in to just browse on a rainy day and lo and behold we actually found a living room set that reclined that was not electrical! I didn't want more cords seen or unseen. We had even went to another popular furniture store, and no can do, it appeared any reclining furniture was all electrical. So we returned back to Ashley's. I even asked for the wonderful salesman who helped us out the first time, Qazi. What a gem! He knows great customer service! So happy with our new furniture!

I had one of my worst experience at Ashley. When they delivered the guy was saying that he couldn't fit in the couch through the door because it was to big and didn't even tried to do so. Later the delivery guy told me to hook him up with a lunch and that he was gonna tried but when I mention $50 he just said NO in other words and took pics of the couch and the door and left. I've had told him I'm was already paying for delivery so for me that was not profesional. Later that day I walked in to the store, customer service said to me that they were gonna try their best to have them delivered by Friday 27th. I had to called them because they were supposed to calm me the next following day and did not do so. So when I called they were like, the delivery will be on OCT 1st. I was expecting for them to call me and let me know at least to say if I was ok with that day. I'm very disappointed 😞. I really wanted the set of couch. I had to cancel my order instead, so sad that I had a really had a high standard on the store.

Thank goodness we walked out of this store! After reading all these reviews I feel like I dodged a bullet! The upselling of extended warranty is ridiculous! My parents were getting ready to buy an overpriced sofa and here comes some manager sitting down with a tablet trying to sell my mom on extended warranty! Mom says no straight up and she kept pushing along with sales guy! This was worse than a used car salesman! I told my mom this is a red flag! Let's get the hell out of here! Why they push so hard is evident from others' reviews! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! Overpriced, low quality and likely what they display in showroom is nothing like what u receive! High pressured sales for furniture!? Come on! Why? Furniture usually sells itself! This isn't it! Walk away!!!! Better yet- run! That's what we did!!!!

All Sales are Final, unfortunately that's true, the sales people do not tell you this while purchasing they completely AVOID talking about this, and when you come to the store for a return or exchange SURPRISE!!! something they tell you is to read your receipts, I always liked ashley until today, I was very disappointed when I wanted to buy a bigger rug for my living room I was told it was final sales and if I wanted bigger one I have to buy a new one. I was not expecting that to be honest. I just hope they become a bit more flexible about that, I might return one day who knows because they sell good pretty stuff but knowing about this I just don't know now... Pleasure doing business with you anyways.

Teresa was amazing, she tried her best to accommodate us as much as she can but the mattress delivery didn’t go through as planned. First delivery date, the delivery driver measured and couldn’t deliver. The second attempt, the window for delivery was provided for experienced team to complete the delivery however they were running late and never made it. I had to cancel the mattress, purchased mattress somewhere else as we weren’t able to reselect to the correct mattress. We did however purchased bunkie boards and the mattress cover, only because of excellent service by Teresa. One more thing, my refund took place of January 30. Today is February 6th still no refund - not very happy about that. It will be great if someone will let me know when I can see my refund in my account
I went into the Northridge Ashley location to look for a new mattress and was helped by Angeles. She gave me a great demo & run through of all the types of mattresses. She was determined on helping me find exactly what i was looking for. It was a great experience and I was able to leave very happy with the attention and care i received.

Shopped at Ashley’s on Northridge due to the advertisement I had seen. When shopping here, I purchased a dining table with 4 chairs (black on black) and requested a rug that my wife and I loved. They didn’t have the rug and the representative that helped us stated he would give me a call back the next day if they found it on their back storage inventory. It has been over a week and nobody called. We did purchase the dining table in which we paid for delivery. It was an unpleasant experience to say the least! I requested the day off on a Saturday with a scheduled delivery. When the order arrived, the chairs were a completely different color than the table. It was not what we ordered. The customer service was horrible insisting I should just reschedule and that they can’t look into the matter until further days. It’s very disappointing you have to pay for delivery and assembly and if it’s not correct, they do the least to help you. When you’re at the store everyone is on top of you so you can purchase something. I rather pay more than to deal with this vendor again.
Don’t waste your time and or money buying from this store and location. Be aware that if the company messes up they won’t take accountability and won’t try to make you feel better about THEIR MISTAKE. My husband and I bought a bed frame from this specific location early December of 2023. The first delivery of the headboard was damaged (no biggie just send me a new one) second delivery also damaged (no biggie again just send me a new one ) third delivery damaged again ( id like a VIP DELIVERY) meaning it would be inspected before delivery to save everyone’s time so I thought but wasn’t VIP as requested and promised by the company. Fourth delivery again headboard was damaged asked to speak to someone from VIP department and said I’d get a call (received no call) instead they scheduled deliveries without giving us a call or time frame and zero updates from VIP department. However what I did get instead was the manager Jacob from this location disregarding my husbands concerns about the 5th delivery attempt and out of all things we expressed to him such as missing work to be available for delivery all he could say is “Welll you could schedule a delivery on a day you don’t have work” so today was the 5th delivery and the headboard still wasn’t delivered VIP. The headboard was still slightly damaged and at this point I’ve given up because there’s no one you can get a hold of that will actually care to make you feel like a valued customer. Save your money buy from Costco because they would never….. also Jacob I know minimum wage means minimum effort but consider stepping down from manager and instead just a sales rep because no one likes a snarky attitude.

We had a mishap with our sectional that we ordered from Ashley Furniture. The store’s team was responsive in helping to correct the order and make it right. Overall I am happy with our purchase and the manner in which our matter was addressed.
We purchased a sectional couch and there were some miscommunication with the sales woman initially. Our sectional configuration was delivered incorrectly and we were unfortunately “stuck” with it. We called the store and the customer service was amazing! They were able to get it all sorted out and we will be receiving the proper configuration and some enhancements in less than 3 business days! A special shout out to all the employees that helped us fix this error: Jasmine, Annalise, Pablo, and Taylor whom without their help, we would be stuck with a sectional we didn’t love. They truly went above and beyond to make this right and us happy! Thank you!

Terrible service and customer service. Ordered a bed for over $1500 and still after four deliveries have not received an undamaged item. I was told twice that they would inspect the item and send pictures for approval before delivery but in both cases nothing happened and I received another damaged item. Extremely challenging to get somebody on the phone that has the authority and will to assist... Last purchase I will ever make from Ashley's. Highly recommend you stay away as well. After having some what seemed to be technical issues with submitting my Visa purchase online (called bank to confirm), I’d received exceptional service from the sales representative, Pedro I’d called in resolving the issue & made the process very easy to complete my purchase. He was very professional, courteous & determined that my needs were met!

I ordered a beautiful set for my new apartment and once delivered it was damaged or defective; I made a claim immediately within 72 hours of receiving and after speaking with supervisor/ manager I was able to get the exchange I wanted. Thx for your help!
I bought two Temperpedic Cloud Cooling Pillows that Fatima the sales girl highly recommended, she said these pillows were the best and were very popular with the customers, of course the most expensive, too. I tried it by resting my head on it, I was sold, they felt amazing... I received these pillows from the delivery guy, it was not what I experienced at the store, these pillows were completely different, they were terrible, the moment you rest your head on the pillow they go completely flat, no head or neck support, like laying on a piece of paper, your better off laying your head directly on the mattress. I called the store to address the issue, and spoke to Pablo who then transferred me to the manager, Taylor, she was very rude and condescending and said that the sales girl most likely made a mistake and ordered the wrong pillows, she said that had to be the problem and at that moment she hung-up on me and did not call me back, I called her several times and she refused to take my calls. I called two days after and spoke to Pablo and he said, "I heard Taylor talking to another manager about this and she will take care of it and will call you back immediately, well she never did. I have left several messages for Taylor and each time I'm guaranteed she will call back, nothing... This place has terrible customer service. Starting with the sales girl, whom rushes you to purchase the most expensive item and once she is processing you transaction she's already talking to the next customer and totally ignoring you. She literally walked away from me to help someone else and didn't say a word, I asked if she was done and she said not yet and told the other customer to wait so she can finish with me. If I can give this store zero stars I would. I will never come back here again. I did call corporate to complain about this incident and spoke to a lady named Rob, she took my information and left me on hold and it's been over an hour, as I'm still waiting this gave me a chance to write this on yelp. I'm pretty sure she will not get back on the line to help me, so I might as well hang-up... Don't waste your time here people. Not worth it...
Went looking for a sectional. Staff was nice enough but wasn't thrilled with their selection or their pricing. Watch tags carefully most sectional were priced for 2 pieces even though most displays have 4+ pieces. I like straight forward clarity on pricing.
This is my honest review. If you buy at Ashley's, save your money & do not buy any protection plan (unless you buy something electrical) because the protection plan company will do whatever to deny your claim. So my advice is to inspect the whole furniture and even from the inside table to check for any damages from the installers or possibly manufacture defects. Also, I'm not saying all Ashley furniture is bad, but the piece I purchased was, so if they still have it, don't buy it. Within time, the front-end piece will start to bend from the ends, as you can see in the pictures and video. You don't have this happening to furniture well made. I contacted Ashley, and they also weren't helpful.

We recently purchased a mattress and a bunky board from this location. They have fair amount of selection to choose from. Ali in sales was knowledgeable but not pushy which is wonderful. From purchasing to delivery, everything went smoothly and on time. They do not offer a sleep trial but there is a 30 day price guarantee. We are happy with our purchase so far but could not find the sofa yet. We'll be back again.

It's true... you never know what you're going to get with Ashley's service. They WILL tell you one thing, but then the reality is something completely different. I have been an Ashley's customer for a number of years, and even with all their bait and switch, unfulfilled promises, etc. etc., I keep coming back. I suppose I would be considered a glutton for punishment, but let's see what happens with our very recent purchase.We just bought a brand new matching sofa, loveseat, and oversized chair, as well as a swivel rocking chair of different fabric. We gave up on our previous Ashley's sofa and loveseat because the seat cushions were so disgustingly saggy, and I couldn't take it any longer. The terms of that old warranty NEVER were honored (back when the cushions were first sagging - after only 3 years... and still within the warranty period). I don't remember what their excuse was, but we didn't get our claim approved; that's all I do recall. Fast forward to now, and we decided to try again. Is that stupid? Who knows... jury will be out for a few years on that since this is brand new.That said, I also had a lonnnnnnnnnnng talk with several different Ashley employees, none of whom know each other. I asked similar questions of each person... to the tune of how do I know THESE newer cushions are better quality? Just because they say they are doesn't ensure anything. Just words being tossed around. Also, how do I know that THIS time, the warranty IS being honored because of A, B, and C ? Again, just words. I suppose, for the sake of argument, I will hope that the information I've been given is correct, and that my new purchases will (A) last longer and (B) allow for replacements due to a purchased warranty, if necessary. We shall see. Sure, right now, in their brand new status, our furniture is perfection... and yes, I have to say, the cushions feel much more solid and firm, which is how I wanted them to be. That cushy, plush, sinking feeling has its place, but I need these to last, so I wanted firm... and these are still incredibly comfortable.The interesting and somewhat alarming aspect of this journey was dealing with some of the in-store sales people. The young woman who mostly assisted us was definitely not on her game. She put HER name on our order as the customer name... not the sales associate name..... but as the customer, and naturally, she didn't catch it. I did. It then caused a flurry of other issues, mostly revolving around the date of delivery, and once again, she messed that up, as well. She was trying to be helpful, but ended up complicating matters more. Thank goodness, two different manager types helped us and actually fixed our order, and they even fought to get us an earlier delivery date... something that I don't think the other one could've or would've accomplished. (Even when she called to tell us a date, she clearly wasn't looking at a calendar because she got that wrong, too. She clearly did not pay attention to anything she did or said. NOT instilling confidence.) I appreciate that people can have a bad day, but this one employee continued to make rather glaring mistakes, and while there were others watching over her and helped us in the end, I'm not sure it's a good idea for her to be doing that line of work. It requires focus and tenacity, neither of which did she appear to have. We got our order because of others looking out for us, and as my husband and I now get to enjoy our purchases for hopefully years to come, it won't be due to her. Let's hope that when/if we need to invoke the warranty, we won't get the runaround. Stay tuned for that one...

I just purchased an Ashley Signature bedroom set for my daughter from a competitor in Dallas. Last week, we moved from Dallas to LA and a part was missing from the new headboard set when the movers were trying to assemble. I tried to work with the store, but they do not do business in CA. I called the local Ashley location and spoke with Taylor, the store manager. Taylor at the Northridge store was amazing. She was able to find the missing pieces I needed to assemble the bed frame. She worked with me over the phone and asked me to come into the store to order. She uncovered the headboard wasnt missing pieces, but it actually is a different SKU that was never ordered with the purchase at the competitor. Taylor was knowledgeable and patient. She helped solve a big problem for us after moving cross country. Fingers crossed this simple fix will erase the past 10 days of frustration.

I recently had a distasteful encounter with a sales representative named Fatima at Ashley's Furniture. My visit was marred by her unhelpful attitude, which seemed to be fueled by prejudice. She appeared disinterested in assisting us and gave off the impression that we didn't belong there. However, I must commend the exceptional customer service team. They stepped in and tried to help, only to discover that what we needed assistance with was the responsibility of the sales reps, Fatima. Despite this limitation, they went above and beyond to make things right and were incredibly helpful - unlike Fatima. What disappointed me the most was when Fatima was called back to assist us by the customer service team. She outright lied about not serving us at the front and about being busy, even though it was clear she wasn't attending to any other customers at the time. This dishonesty only added to the distaste of our visit. While I appreciate the efforts of the customer service team, my overall experience at Ashley's Furniture was severely tarnished by Fatima's behavior. It's disheartening to encounter such unprofessionalism and prejudice from a sales representative in a place that should prioritize customer satisfaction.

The salespeople and management here are always pleasant. They are helpful without being overbearing. I've been coming here every few weeks as I shop around in preparation for a move. I think I know what I want for my living room, and it's at Ashley. Now, to wait for a sale. They do have 60 month no interest financing if you qualify. The store is clean and bright with a nice selection of furniture, and has a good amount of parking around the building.

Zero out of zero stars!! This company shouldn't even be a company and get terminated by the BBB!!!!! Please read this before you buy at all with this company!!! I made a purchase for a sectional cream colored couch about 2 years ago April 15th 2021. Me and my wife loved the way the couch looked and the price was affordable, the price was roughly over 2,000.00 including warranty and delivery and all that stuff. Context of this is their warranty!Background: a sectional couch cream colored, 5 year protection plan included. After two years of having it it was finally time for a cleaning with our warranty. About 4 weeks ago I called to make a report with GBS. Everything was going as planned I sent pictures and they were going to send someone out to clean it. A week and a half passed and finally someone called to tell me an appointment. Already a bad impression. So once the the tech came over to, what I thought was clean it. But NNNNOOOOOO!! He only came to diagnose the situation even after I put in a claim with GBS and sent over plenty of pictures for them to diagnose the issue via photo but instead someone had to come for that. So whatever that happened. I was waiting for a call the next day, the day after, the week after, 2 weeks after, and still nothing. I had to take matters into my own hands because not one company was going to call me not the service techs company not the company that I submitted my claim with, GBS, not even Ashley's home furniture! They all are terrible! So around 7:30am Pst 7/21/23 I called the furniture company that's does the cleaning and they stated that they don't have any paperwork of mines to begin the cleaning service I asked why and they said they need approval from a different company, GBS, so I told her I have a claim and she stated that I still needed to contact GBS, to give the authorization. I then contacted GBS, furniture warranty partner, and the stated that they did not approve my cleaning services to get done due to then only servicing single stains not multiple stains, they also stated that the warranty only covers 30 days of a single stay occurrence. So I told the rep "what if I got the stain about 3 weeks ago and the stain was from a cup that bounced on my couch and stained two parts of the couch?" She went on by saying since multiple stains have been occurred then that doesn't fall under the single stain policy, and I told her " why if it happened with the same cup at the same time and date so it had to of been a single stain just went here and there!" She went on by stating that " it still is under a multi stain so we don't cover that but I can recommend you to a company that does do full service cleaning and they will give you a quote." I then proceeded to ask her a personal opinion and it went like this, " so you're telling me that in your own personal opinion if you got a couch and warranty on this couch for stains and a company called GBS tells you that your couch isn't covered due to multiple stains, you would be mad and to top things off they send you to a different company to pay even more money to get the couch cleaned even though you already paid for warranty?!!" She couldn't answer a simple question like this due to " policies she's following." So I then just stated to her "okay I understand you can't answer a simple rhetorical question that has only a yes or no answer to it." And proceeded to say thanks for not helping me and hung up the phone. Now I am here stuck with a couch that apparently is covered with stain warranty but not really covered with stain warranty. PATHETIC, that is what I call all three of these companies! ASHLEYS HOME FURNITURE, GBS, and their cleaning company! All three are just the definition of what rip off looks like in person and in a company! I HOPE YOU GUYS READ THIS BEFORE BUYING OR EVEN THINKING OF BUYING FURNITURE FROM THIS PLACE! I would give negative stars if I could. They scammed me $90 overcharged without my consent. Go somewhere else, customer service is terrible. I’m still waiting for corporate to contact me. It sucks! I had a sister order furniture at this store last week. She is a single mother with two little kids who is barely getting by. She ordered furniture I was with her to help. The order couldn’t be delivered because the sofa was oversized. They asked us to pick another sofa but we couldn’t find anything in that price range and she couldn’t afford those expensive ones they were pushing to sell. So the sister decided to cancel the order and buy the sofa elsewhere. But Ashley-Northridge charged her $180 for attempted delivery! The store knew well they were delivering it to an apartment at the time of placing order and they should have advised us but they didn’t. How can you charge $180 for the order that couldn’t be delivered? The sister who is at the verge of being homeless was literally crying for being ripped off! I communicated this concern to them but they were heartless folks. For you $180 may just be a small number but for the struggling single mom who is working hard to survive, it is a big amount! It’s immoral!

My husband and I purchased furniture at the Northridge store. The next day, we returned to resolve a wrongful order issue that was incorrectly stated on our receipt. The store manager “Taylor “ assisted in resolving our concern. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and very pleasant to work with. She made our issues go away effortlessly. We ended up purchasing additional items. We were so delighted that Taylor resolved the concern and left the store smiling.☺️😊

We ordered a power recliner the other day, Ashley furniture scheduled the delivery for Tuesday 7/4 and gave us a four hour window. The day of delivery half of the time frame went by before they called and said they were running late and it'd be delivered by 6 pm. It's now almost 8 pm, it hasn't been delivered and we can't get in touch with the customer service agent because the offices are closed. Very unprofessional to not do a follow-up call and say they can't make it tonight. Holiday or not, if you make a commitment then you follow through with it or apologise for the inconvenience and guarantee delivery in the morning. We're not sold after this experience and it's very unlikely we'll return when we need to refurnish the house. There are better companies out there who are communicative with their customers. Don't waste your money here.
Donna was our sales rep and she was beyond amazing! She walked us through all the dinning sets they had in the showroom and even took apart a table to show us the different sizes. However, her manager was not pleasant at all! She made her clock out even when she was still attending us. Donna worked after her hours with out a pay… corporate should really look into that because as far as I’m aware, it’s illegal. Poor Donna RAN in heels to clock out and came back to help us finish the sale.
Omar and Selima went above and beyond to help us, their service was absolutely incredible. We are definitely coming back!

This is probably the last time I'm shopping at Ashley's because I finally choose a sofa rug end tables, coffee table love seat arrangement only to find out that the item on display is discontinued. Why would it be on display and waste everyone's time !! Also, I spent over 4k and I couldn't get any discount like before. What a horrible decision by management. If it wasn't for Ana ( the rep that assisted) I would have dropped Ashley's like a bad habit.

Yesterday, in Ashley Store I met the WORST sales person in the world! I was alone, following her (Sophia Gil) for asking her support in my purchase. She was attending another customers at the same time with me. She was rude and very inaccesible. And, finally, she has flatulence in front of me, my husband and child (5 years old), while we was paying for our purchase. WORST sales experience in my life! Terrible Ashley!

Horrible experience! I bought a set of furniture (Bed Frame, Dining table and Sofa). when my furniture was delivered, we received the wrong sofa from what we ordered. I have been contacting the customer service from day one of delivery to return the sofa but there is no response. Every day I had a follow up call, but they always say, "it will take up to 24-72 hours". That 72 hours never happen. It’s been 3 weeks. It so frustrating to see something you don’t like in your living room without your approval. Customer service doesn’t exist. I have been a customer for 9 years and will never go back again. I would warn everyone who wants to buy here should think twice. I will let my friends and family about my horrible experience.

This showroom has a pretty good selection of furniture. Plenty of parking and the staff are helpful, my only issue was the constant pressure and suggestions to open a credit card.
We found exactly what we were looking for. The salesman was very helpful and friendly with taking our order. Shipping was quick and the delivery guys where really friendly as well
I’ve been buying all my furniture from Ashley they have good stuff (one star). Delivery is always on time (one star)and the people that works there is always willing to help… some times they push you to buy things, and it is fine, that is their job Recently I bought some chairs for a table that I had recently bought at Ashley, and a set of place mats, when they were delivered I didn’t like the way the mats looked on the table (color) so I went to the store and asked what was the process to return them.. to my surprise I was told I couldn’t return them, accessories are final sale but nobody told me that when I bought them!! Customer service told me that I should’ve read the small letters on the back of the paper that I received at the time of purchase….😲 Warranty? I haven’t used it.. let’s see when it is time to use it, I just got an email with a looong list of items that are not covered, I was told that the warranty (that I purchased) would cover “any” damage🤷♀️ I wish I could give them 5stars

We have bought many items from Ashleys and have always been very satisfied with their products and customer service. However, in our most recent purchase the items delivered were damaged and dirty. After speaking with customer services and having to follow up because they were not calling back, the replacement items were sent and one of them was damaged worse than the original piece. They did not call to schedule a new delivery date for another replacement. I had to call multiple times before it was scheduled. I am very disappointed with the way this was handled. It was very inconvenient to not have functioning bedroom furniture that I paid a lot of money for.
If you look at the rest of my reviews, you'll see I'm pretty evenhanded. I ask you to consider that context when I tell you the following: THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST DECEPTIVE COMPANIES EVER -- AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I would rather be sitting and sleeping on the floor right now just to spite this horrible company and the wretched people who work there. Background: I bought a bed, sectional sofa and some other small items on a financing plan a year ago. I've made all my payments so far. What happened:THE SHOPPING EXPERIENCEThey will try to manipulate and upsell you worse than you've ever experienced. They outright lied to me. They wasted my time in the store. Eventually they wore me down and after I made my choices, they indicated that payments will be made via a third party bank. I didn't like that, but I trusted it would be fine. Big mistake. THE OTHER SHOE- The bed stand that goes below my mattress and box springs was never delivered or included despite me being explicitly told it would be. - I was supposed to receive monthly $50 rebates in the form of prepaid cards for the first year of payments. I managed to get one sent from another third party company. - My payments inexplicably rose from $84 to over $100 despite assurances that this would not happen. - I spent countless hours on the phone to three separate companies -- Ashley, the financing company and the rebate card company. They play the shell game and keep redirecting you, and that's only after spending hours on the phone.At this point I'm thinking about how best to pursue legal action. This place has already been sued many times for illegal and deceptive practices and it is inevitable that there will be another class action against them for some of what I'm experiencing. I hope the owners of this company and its entire executive team end up in jail. This company isn't just bad, it's evil. DON'T. I PROMISE YOU WILL REGRET SHOPPING HERE.

We were happy with service. We found what we were looking for and bought it. The very next day I received a message that the same furniture was $300 less. I called the manager the very next day and they honored it gave me a credit for the difference. Not the best selection of sofas but unique nice stuff if you take your time to look. A little dicy not very honest but I am being forgiving. Very reasonable prices on certain items. Check the Internet before you make your decision. Good convenient easy shopping with decent selection.
I went to Ashley a couple of times to purchase a couch with my boyfriend and I noticed a heavy set man mistreating his employees. I think his name was Jacob or Jonathan, I just don’t remember. I used to work in customer service and I genuinely don’t like seeing people being disrespectful to employees. She was very opinionated as to what items we wanted, and had a harsh way of saying why that piece of furniture isn’t “good”. Kept hearing words like “cheap” out of her. Overall was an okay trip, I understand the upsell but no means no.

If you want to be treated less than human then this is the right place! This is for the lousy customer service and manager of this location named Jacob who was as useful as a rusted thumbtack. We purchased a set of couches from this location for $1700 (each) plus shipping. We received defective couches. The recliners make an awful sound when opening. So we reached out to report this issue to be sent a technician who recommended to use a spray. That did nothing. Once again the issue persisted and when we reached out again, we were sent a replacement. The replacement had the same issue with the recliners! We once again went through the process of getting yet another replacement only for the same issue to happen once more! Clearly there is a manufacturing defect with the couches we received and despite sharing this with Ashley’s multiple times, nothing was done. Such a product should be recalled. After an inconvenient process of phone calls, we went into the Ashley’s store as we were allowed to pick a new set for replacement and the exchange was approved. To our surprise, we were expected to pay for shipping to send back the defective couch! The manager Jacob then claimed the couches were not defective despite multiple returns of the couch with the same problem with the recliners. Jacob maintained the most unprofessional demeanor a manager could have and really failed us in every way as a customer. Our time, money, and patronage was wasted in a company we used to look highly upon. Very disappointing.

Happy New Year! Walked in to Ashley Furniture, Northridge today. Thought I would see the latest furniture available in the new year. Walked in the front doors and was politely greeted by salesperson, Qazi. He maintained his distance as I perused the sales floor. Qazi monitored my progress through the store but was not bothersome, which was nice. I was also greeted by the store manager while pursuing the floor. I then found an interesting item on sale. The regular price was $129, and the item was on sale for $4.99. Great deal! I carried the item over to customer service to purchase the merchandise. At customer service, a woman was seated behind the counter on the phone. I motioned that I wanted to make a purchase when she completed her phone call. She made a pointy finger motion that she was busy. I patiently waited and after her call ended, rather than help an in-store customer, she made another sales call 😳. As a result of the poor customer service at customer service (sounds counterintuitive yeah 🤨), I left the item at the customer service counter and walked away and continued shopping. Shortly after, I let Qazi know I was ready to check out and pay for the item at customer service. Qazi had already grabbed the item’s information, so I could pay for the merchandise without further delay. Qazi was very helpful throughout the visit. My only complaint is with Ashley’s purchase process (and customer service). I was FORCED to provide (4) four separate signatures on four different printed out documents for the $5 purchase. What?!?, a total waste of time and paper. Speaking of time, the Apple iPad software for Ashley was not working and was restarted at least 3-4 times. Overall, I recommend popping in to Ashley periodically to find good furniture products and occasionally find excellent sales prices (See photo examples). I’ve purchased some really nice bedroom sets, outdoor furniture, and cabinets at Ashley.
This furniture store is a scam, they just want to sell but can never follow through. It’s been 2 and 1/2 months of back and forth of their incompetence & lies. Not only is shopping here frustrating but an extreme waste of time. Cut your losses and don’t do business with them.
System is not clearly shared with customers. My partner and I were shopping for a sofa. Fist day Jane Doe helped us. She was great, kind and respectful to the point that we choose her to be our salesperson (hence we did not know you are assigned a sales associate the minute you walk into the the store)We looked around liked a couple of options but needed to get back hone to make sure we had the space for either one. We took her card and left to follow up. Next day we Walked in, another salesperson greeted us, She said I'll be helping you all, we responded with "we know where we are going" to compare measurements and make the purchase, then we called JF who was scheduled to be on the floor that day- to process payment. She joined us to start the purchasing process when the salesperson who greeted us that day made a fuss about us being her client who she had spent hours with (not true) It was awkward. All of the sales associates on the floor were whispering laughing and looking at me and my partner. Horrible. We spoke to management and explained, he okayed and allowed JD to proceed.We picked up the sofa the following day- and what do you know the one piece of the sofa that is not reversible had been damaged. Better Communication would have avoided such an unpleasant experience from all involved. But the damaging of our sofa is not okay. I'm just not sure I'd go back. Their furniture is gorgeous but won't spend my hard earned money in such a toxic culture environment like we experienced at this store. We took it home and will reupholster the one cushion.
We bought a coffe table with a protection plan. After one month the table started to get swollen and peel off. We opened a claim and no one responded or tried to help us. I don't recommend anyone to buy their items from Ashley's because they don't provide customer support or service.

DO NOT GET ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. SHOULD OF READ THE REVIEWS HORRIBLE QUALITY ! I have less than 5 months with my couches and the material is already worn out. I had noticed worn out within the month but blamed a fluffy blanket for leaving lint (clearly wasn't the case).They sent out a technician and he blamed usage and pets. They only have a 24 hours return policy from the day you receive them. Clearly, the couches are going to look good when you first get them. If you plan on sitting on your couch BEWARE you might start to rub off whatever horrible material they use. Unless you plan on using your couches as a museum display (NO TOUCHING, NO SITTING) these couches might last you a year, if you're lucky. Jacob store manager in Ashley suggests I use a RAZER blade to remove the pieces of fur that are coming out. Thanks for the suggestion I really want to be using a razor blade on my new couches. ****Word of advice spend a little more at another store but at least they will last you longer than 5 months. Save yourself the trouble and the money. *****
Had a tough time coming back after I couldn’t get a return call during Covid regarding my sofa warranty. Decided to give it another try and Donna was the sales associate that helped me, very satisfied with her knowledge and help.

Went there today for their black Friday specials to buy a sectional couch. Very poor customer service, it was like they couldn't wait to make the sake and get you out the door. Very impersonal. Didn't bother to ask exactly what you were interested in and budget etc. Will never buy from them. And sure didn't see any 50%off deals as advertised.

They were kind and accommodating while we were deciding on a mattress, bed, pillows, etc. Even though they were busy and being pulled for assistance by other staff, they still managed to keep a smile on their face and get us the best price and products possible. Horrible experience, horrible customer service. I never leave bad reviews but this was the worst shopping experience I've ever had. Long story short bought a $3,000 marble table set with table, chairs, dinning plate set, and rugs. Was completely bullied into including a 5 year warranty into the purchases, which turned out to be worthless. The table instantly stain everywhere as well as had a 14 inch crack. Later found out from a different Ashleys store that they no longer sell this table as it is know to crack/stain. I called the warranty company, they sent out a service tech who said he couldn't get out the stains but the crack was a problem that needs taken care of. The tech sent his report to Ashley/warranty company but after following up they said natural stone marble tables were not covered by the warranty! So why'd they push the warranty? The table also had a 1 year manufactures/Ashley's warranty. The company no longer sold the table so they couldn't replace the table but would give us $2400 store credit, not $3,000(wouldn't return the dinner plates, rugs etc that came as a set). I asked for a full refund as I didn't want store credit or a different table and the current table was defective. Went in person to talk to the store manager and he stated that "corporate made the decision to offer a credit, I have no way to contact corporate to get them to change their minds. I have the same number to get a hold of corporate as customers do". Found that to be pretty insulting as its obviously not true. Also was promised $229 in virtual gift cards, these were stolen the day they were activated. Promised $200 in fuel cards which never came. Horrible experience, will never shop at Ashley and I recommend you do not either. Really just want a full refund for this table set.

If you are making a big purchase super helpful like I did when purchasing bed and mattress. I was given 6. $50 gift cards as part of a promotion and unable to spend it now for a year. Decided to get some decorative pillows but was told I can use $50 A DAY. Trying to get someone to make a purchase was a nightmare. No one wants to help you if you are not making a big purchase. They are making me go back to the store everyday so I can buy 1 pillow a day and use $50 per day. Ridiculous that they would do to that to their costumers.

Ashley store from Northridge sold me a proctection plan for the furniture I bought, for 4 years, protection, in 2 years I called them to come home n fix the problems on my couches. And they came out telling me the I don't have any protection plan when they sold me a plan protection.This furniture store has the worst furniture fake leather and they lie to you so I will not recommend nobody to go there.Bad customer services they can be nice if you going to buy from them.XXXX

We purchased a queen mattress set from Heyam Ismail. Who I would reccomend. She gave me some space to look but answered my questions, saved me money, and even sold me a mattress cover when I already have one. Thats A good sales person

This review is solely based on the department who is suppossed to come fix or replace your furniture if it is defective. I contacted them within 24 hrs regarding my wobbling coctail and end table. To this day , it has been over 6 months , maybe longer . It still wobbles... A nightmare getting anyone to come fix it . Horrible customer service !!!!!!

This was my 4th time dealing with Ashley Furniture. I thought after the first 3 times were they messed up my order, Iwould never go back but My wife convinced me to go back ,that things would be different .Nope they sent the wrong Item again. I am finally Done with them. Be careful when dealing with them take pictures ,SKU numbers and names. They seem to blame others for there mistakes and then try to convince you thats what you order. I give them a MINUS 10. I had to give them 1 star or else it would not let me post.

Don’t buy Ashley Furniture ! They take your money! They don’t deliver furniture! I am tracking my furniture like its on set but after few days they call “ 2 chairs are missing no table no branch , if we deliver separate its your responsibility “! I suspected that they sale someone else my orders parts by cash ! I have full insurance so maybe they uses it for their own !

The service itself was great, they are very helpful. Only thing I don't like is doubling the price and then trying to tell me they gave me a discount when they bring it down. The couch I bought there was marked at around 8k, they said they can give you 50%which would be around 8k. I looked on their own website and found the exact same couch for 3400. They're telling me they gave me a huge discount when they just price matched themselves. You never gave me a discount, you gave me your regular price. Price matching was meant for your competitors, not yourself. That is not a business practice that bodes well with me
It was a wonderful experience yesterday we visited Ashley Northridge. Front staff warmly welcomed then one of the associate helped us to find what we were looking for and was very helpful with that. Manager Saleema is amazing and truly helped us out with everything we were looking for. It was amazing how she cares so deeply about the customers and was helping out not just us, but even other customers at the store in the same way. We are glad we had her to help us with our purchase. We definitely recommend her!

Purchased a Stearns & Foster mattress and 5" box spring. During the purchase with the salesman, the manager came over and added a $250.00 delivery fee, although the Ashley website is clear that there is free delivery. We had to spend a lot of energy showing them this, and getting them to take off the delivery charges- spoiling what had been a good experience until that point. Then, we get home and receive our delivery notification and realize after all the time with the manager, correcting the order, she still sent the wrong box spring, a 9". So we have to call and fix that. The mattress comes the next day and is RIPPED, with two holes in it, while still inside the plastic. We refuse it. Then we spend hours on the phone with Ashley, and decide we do not want to have another mattress delivered from them, as they have been such a negative experience. So we ask for a refund and they will not give it - Customer Service even claims that they will only refund the mattress price and not the sales tax! We call the store directly, they tell us to come in the next day and they'll process the cancellation and refund. We've now been at the store an hour and they say they don't see our mattress is back at the warehouse and they can't do anything until it is....this is an incredibly frustrating and clumsy way to do business. Very disappointed in what I expected to be a streamlined and respectful process.

Terrible! I was very surprised to not get any good customer service. The man who greeted us looked annoyed to be there. I told him we would browse before I waste any of his time. Neways I found what I WANTED and I asked him for help with the measurements and he said DID YOU MEASURE IT? Every answer from him was I THINK SO, MAYBE 🤔..I asked some other lady to help and she never came back. So we left and went to Bobs furniture and got my entertainment center and plan on getting more from there. Idk why they had a full house of staff and no one helped or wanted to.

I bought a sealy mattress for my son for Christmas . We ordered a medium but got a firm delivered by accident. There was a mistake on the order. They could have argued and said that we were out of luck because we got what was on the order, but the manager helped us out with exchanging for the softer version of the same mattress.. thanks
My husband and I found the perfect couch for 50% off and some. We’re so grateful to Mariam and the store manager was off the chain helpful and hooking it up! Thank you thank you!!! The worst shopping experience I ever had in my life
This Ashley's location is awesome! I forgot the gentleman that help me an my family but we quickly purchased couch we really liked. He also went worked diligently to make sure our purchase was set to the correct delivery date. Within two weeks our brand new couch was delivered on time.
Pablo was very helpful and professional, he was patient attentive to my concerns and answered all my questions. I had to go back to change my order the very next day because We measured the space for my dinning set so I had to go back and make adjustments to my order and I even added an area rug and a great discount on it which matched perfectly to all my new living room and dining room furniture. I had a wonderful experience and we are definitely going back soon for our bedrooms furniture and decor. Thanks Pablo!

very dissatisfied with my delivery they ordered and delivered the wrong bed and there was a roach inside my furniture. I called to complain very hard to get someone on the line customer service wasn't much help took my complain and said they would call me back , no one called me . I'm afraid to sleep with roaches who might lay eggs .

When I was in there the customer service was ok. Nothing special but the person helping me was helpful. I saw some plates on clearance and decided I would get them, the lady helping me said that she can give me a bowl with the plates so it could complete the set and when I finished paying for them some crazy lady came with an attitude to the customer service desk being very loud and rude saying that the person helping me should have not done that. Keep in mind the lady is being loud and rude while the whole store is looking at us as if I was trying to steal something. The whole experience was just very ugly that lady has a very ugly personality and should not be working in retail. This lady made a huge scene all for a bowl. I returned the plates and I will never go back to the Northridge Ashley’s ever again because of this lady. I wish I got her name because she should not be working in customer service.
Ashley deliver service in Colton is lazy . Didn’t receive all items as promise date . A week later . Did t bring all the pieces . Haven’t revive dresser as of today . I should have read the reviews before going their .The delivery service is Horrible!!!!!!! I

I visited the Northridge location after visiting Canoga Park location, hoping I would have a better experience… and I did! Donna was my sales person and she was most helpful and adorable woman! The experience was like night and day! I schedule shipment in mid July so I can’t have any review of furniture delivery experience nor furniture itself yet. But purchasing experience was so easy and painless here. Don’t waste your time going to Canoga Park location! Go to Northridge one if you wanted to be treated like a person.
Love the furniture, but the customer service is terrible and for this reason I would not suggest making purchases here. We were told by the Ashley furniture delivery team that we had 3 days to return furniture. We decided the tables that we ordered just didn't flow with our living room, called the store the day of delivery to ask about returns, and have been getting the run around since. Everybody tells us a different policy regarding returns and promises we will get a call back and we of course never do. Additionally, we were told we were getting discounts on the furniture and protection plan and the full price wound up being billed to our card. When we asked about this, we also got the run around. Very frustrating and though the couches are great, I don't know that they're worth the trouble.

I have bought from the store plenty of times and never have had issues and the first time that I need to use the warranty or the manufacture warranty I've been getting the runaround since January 2021. Mind you the furniture that I bought I bought back in January 2020 and like everything I have warranty on it because that's what responsible people do. It has been barely even what the year and everything is falling apart and I spent over $15,000 at the store. As you know Covid hit in 2020 and working for the medical field I wasn't even home as much four my sofa my loveseat my small table for chairs and one barstool have all managed to fall apart. No I don't have six kids I have to and that's it and because I had to work throughout Covid we were never home because they were had to be at daycare and I had to be at work at the doctors office. I tried to contact all the right personnel and all I've had Has been running around nobody seems to know how to help and some of them have flat out denied me and have lent either the store for faulty furniture and then vice versa the warranty department nothing to do with it. I am at a loss of words needless to say I just want someone to help this is not right I have warranty therefore I should be able do use such warranty. And the excuse from the warranty department is that it's a manufacture issue mind you I didn't receive my furniture to March 15 of 2020 therefore the warranty was up in March 2021 for the manufacturer and I contacted them in January 2021 which is still technically under the manufacture warranty. But both Ashley furniture store and the warranty department keep pointing the fingers at each other this is beyond unacceptable stressful not right. I have been an Ashley store buyer since 2013 I cannot believe that I am being treated this way!
We ordered furniture in April for a guaranteed delivery of June 5th. My husband flew out to our second home and was told TODAY the order is Delayed to July 1. We spent over 6k and paid in full and no one bothered to call us. The delivery was confirmed over a week ago by phone. Horrible service! Do not spend your money here!

I cannot believe I fell into buying furniture at this store. I regret buying the protection GBS plan. Nothing was done for me. Reframe from buying their protections plans because when it comes down to repairs they don’t approve anything. Ashley furniture should not be allowing their costumers to buy these protection plans because why are not helpful at all . Such a waste of money. I have been waiting since feb to fix my couches and they denied everything. Now I need to see if they will even reimburse me for this stupid protection plan Im so disgusted with these two company’s No help at all!

Full disclosure: this would be a 3-star review, but thanks to Pablo at Ashley's I am leaving a 5-star review. Arriving at the showroom you are greeted by a sales rep. Fortunately for my family, Pablo was the rep that assisted us. He was patient, answered all or our questions, and helped us navigate the showroom. While he is a salesman and definitely was trying to make a sale, he was never pushy or aggressive. Bottom line, he wanted to help us find what we wanted. We eventually made our purchase with Pablo and awaited for the delivery. The delivery will take a while, about 2-3 weeks. They were upfront about that at the store. Things started to go downhill a bit when we got calls saying that a few of our items were going to be delivered later than scheduled. It got worse when the first shipment contained a damaged item that needed to be replaced. To handle damages, you have to deal with Ashley corporate and that was somewhat frustrating - a lot of back and forth and being passed around. Even though the pictures I sent showed that the damages were significant, they wanted to schedule a technician to come out and review the damages before replacing it. That would take another 3 weeks (just to get the damages reviewed) and then who knows how long after that to get the replacements. After speaking with a supervisor, the supervisor reviewed the damage pictures himself and agreed that the replacement could just be sent and that a technician review wasn't needed. My advice to you is to (kindly) ask to speak to a supervisor if your issue is legitimate and you want something done in a timely manner. I should also note that every CS rep I spoke with was friendly and pleasant, they just were not empowered to do anything about my situation. And finally... the last shipment we received was a rug, and they ended up sending an 8x10 rug instead of a 9x12 rug. To avoid dealing with the hassle of the exchange process, we just kept the smaller rug and requested a refund for the difference in pricing. I am happy to say they accommodated that acct credit without issue. In conclusion of this awfully long and boring review, I'd like to reiterate that my 3-star review would be for Ashley corporate, but thanks to Pablo's assistance throughout his whole ordeal, I am leaving 5-stars. Not only did Pablo explain to me how the processes would work when shipments were delayed or damages were found, he even gave me his personal phone number and actually answered my texts when I had questions. I can't say enough about how impressed I was with his genuine concern and customer service. Definitely not expected and he would be an asset to any company he worked for, and I hope Ashley's is appreciative to have him on their team. Thank you Pablo! You turned this somewhat sour experience into a better one, and you are appreciated.

Ani at the Northridge store was amazing. She certainly logged her steps that day. She went above and beyond helping us find everything we needed and while keeping us in our budget! I don't remember having such a great experience while furniture shopping! I love our beautiful new furniture! We had just by chance stopped there after a very unpleasant experience at Living Spaces. If you are shopping for furniture you have to go to the Ashley Home store next to the Northridge Fashion Center. Everyone there is so helpful and nice!

This store has the most rudest unprofessional salespeople I hate to say that we will NEVER come back to this store and shop the “greeter” at the front door is absolutely rude and not attentive at all there was about 6 or 7 employees the day I went in and NO ONE offered to help us I think this store has very unprofessional and horrible employees, one of them started arguing with me because I asked for a mask because I had forgotten mine at home he argued back and forth with me about giving us a mask that is .10 the worst person ever do not shop at the store stay away from this Ashley!!

Poor customer service and overall terrible experience with ASHLEY’s Furniture. We ordered 4 chairs in December and received them a month later. 2 out of the 4 chairs arrived with missing parts/faulty parts. We called ASHLEY’s, explaining the problem and they informed us that a “tech” would come to fix the problem. The tech guy was sent 2 whole months after we called and he didn’t even fix the chairs! He only took pictures of the chairs. He ordered parts for the chairs and we’ve been calling ASHLEY’s every 2 weeks for the last 2 months and no one has any updates of when or where the parts for these chairs are. It’s been 4 months and we haven’t been able to use 2 out of the 4 chairs that we ordered and I think that’s just ridiculous.

My first time buying a tempur pedic mattress and I had the worst experience ever. I received the mattress that was extremely too soft for my back. With in 48 hours according to store policy one can return the mattress if considered defective. I wanted to return the mattress because it was within the time limit of 72 hours. The manager was extremely rude and she told me she cannot accept the mattress regardless of the Store policy and she told me to sell the mattress myself. Given the fact that the mattress was extremely expensive over $3000, she did not give me a chance yet the mattress has a 10 year warranty. She basically told me I have to keep the mattress regardless of the warranty and that the warranty is fake and they don’t consider it in the store location.Don’t get your mattresses from this location because the manager is not consider it and will not give you an opportunity to return the mattress go get your mattresses from Purple store or online.
The store is huge and has everything for home decor: from beds and frames to bed room furniture. Dinning room furniture and even dishes! EVERYTHING in the store was 40% off to start. With minor negotiating it was at 45% and they even took off some service fees. Got 4 great high quality chairs and a decent kids desk for the kids to do homework on. Quick tip for chair purchase, or really any furniture purchase, is the weight. Honestly cheap chairs 💺 are usually light. Doesn't make for much longevity. The only reason they got a 4* rating was our furniture was originally to arrive on the 17th and without informing us it came on the 20th. The install crew was great and even built the desk and left it in the back yard since no one was home. Make sure you respond YES to your email or text message as well.
Pushy salesperson. Said we were just browsing and when we asked questions they tried to push sales. Once we firmly stated we weren't buying that day the salesperson went cold and ignored us. The furniture is nice but super overpriced so the put it "on sale" to make it a bargain but it's actually the full price at that point. Won't go back
I bought furniture for my house first time from ashley LAST year and its been 6 months they still didn't deliver all parts of my shopping Service is bad delivery doesn't work I have no one thing to mention as positive I also tried to return part of first delivery because it was taking too long for second part but I've been told THEY DON"T HAVE RETURN POLICY find alternative guys never buy from ashley NEVER!

First off, let me start by saying we have been Ashley's customers for over 6 years, and for the most part, haven't had any issues. For whatever reason, they're the only store in America who hasn't figured out how to run their business in Covid Times after a year of everyone dealing with the same thing. I say this because this is the excuse we continue to get, on which was our FOURTH time of being extended on our delivery. We were originally given a delivery date 2 months out due to Covid, which we gladly agreed to. Since then, we have been delayed 3 more times. The 2nd delay, I was pretty upset, and the rep i spoke with promised my entire order (except one piece which was fine) would be delivered March 18th without fail, and even went so far as to confirm my delivery. The last straw was the call I got last night, that informed me we were going to be delayed ANOTHER 2 months. So when I spoke to this Rep, she said that I should have never been confirmed for delivery as the warehouse has given them no info on my order in the past 5 months. (I know Ashley uses wayfair to deliver items, and i get wayfair items next day, so this covid excuse is very internal) I asked her if I can get ANY of my items delivered as we ordered a bedframe, side tables, wall units with fireplaces etc...she said no. So at this point I cancelled the order. I'll take our $6000 to Macy's or something.
Jessie helped and she was amazing however it's been 4 months waiting on are order that we was told would be in are house in 6 to 8 weeks and no one has called to tell us it would be late or take more time I called them at the beginning of February and was told by the end of the month on March 2nd I went in to the store and now it's March 17th we will see...I also wasn't offered any accommodations for the wait
Today I had the Best Customer Service experience from Melitta at the Northridgr store. Seems our salesperson made several mistakes in the amount that was charged which included NO DELIVERY charge (-$200) and also was unwilling to accommodate his promise to continue not to charge fees for delivery for additional orders for the rest of the month. We did make an additional purchase of outdoor furniture and our sales person was not going to live up to his promise of No Delivery charge. I had to hire an outside vender and pay $40. When I spoke with Melitta she cleared up both issues within 10 minutes. Melitta is the BEST example of what Customer Service should be.

The guy by the front door kept following me and my girl. We walked around looking for dressers. He followed us the entire time and kept asking questions. He made us very uncomfortable and felt discriminated. I guess you can only enter here if you look a certain way.
Bought a living room set in October still haven't gotten my set. Never communicated the 5 different delivery date changes. Asked multiple times for a list of replacement options to be emailed to me have never had any follow up.
Don't like that sales people follow you around, but that's just me I guess.
The products are great, and they have great prices. However the customer service is not the best, the vendors will work with you in store, but there seems to be miscommunication/ misunderstanding with procedures. We were promised to have the old furniture take out and away and have the products assembled. The product were assembled but the old stuff was not taken away. DON'T PROMISE SERVICES YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO FUFILL.

The worst experience ever. After waiting a month and a half for my couch delivery it turned out to be too big for my living room space. I asked them to take back the wedge and was told they could not, I would have to schedule for pickup another day. Two months later and 4 pickups scheduled I’m stuck paying for furniture I’m not using. The excuse is not being able to get in my building and the drivers for some reason calling the wrong number. So basically they had my number for delivery but not for pickup. I gave them my number again and rescheduled several times and same excuses with no explanation as to why this is happening. Not to mention customer service rep I spoke to last acted as if she was doing me a favor and rushed off the phone. If you’re looking for incredibly overpriced furniture and terrible customer service then Ashley is your store. If not, based on my experience I would recommend you stay far away from Ashley furniture.

Horrible furniture stop. I waited over 2 months to receive my sofa and is still not here. They kept extending the delivery date every 2 weeks with excuses that were ridiculous. After 2 months I got fed up and cancel my order.
Our salesperson, Ashiki, was amazing. Explained everything, went over options and gave us the best deal possible. Truly made the shopping experience very comfortable and friendly.

At one point we decided to leave n look in other stores, but because of Qazi's good attitude we stayed n completed our transaction. I order my daughter a furniture I wait 2 months they bring night stand and dresser but the bed they told me it will come December 23 . I went ti see whats going on they told me it&'s discontinue .Ok if its like that why you didn&'t let me know. If I stay home they will never call or let me know. I told them I want return they gave me day to pick up. The pick up day is today december 8 . I called them and they told me It&'s December 23 again. Don&'t Shop FROM ThERe. No service

We've bought large items from this store twice. The sales people work off of commission. You will be followed. They will give you bogus prices and price discounts. They'll claim you're getting a big discount, but then check online and see approximately the same price, or similar products for less. If you are good at catching bull and making a deal, this will work out for you. If you're like my husband and I, we realize afterwards that we were told one thing and got markups that we were told were included. Also be prepared for delivery fees and whatnot that you didn't expect. And, significant delays. We were told that it would take a whole month to get a couch we bought in October, and when I called to get a delivery date for December, I was told the sales person misled us and it wouldn't be until end of December. So, that's over 2 months. Buyer beware.

do not shop here!! we received a delivery date when we bought our couch. two days before the delivery, we received a phone call from dispatch confirming the same date and giving a timeframe. the time came and went. i called customer service and was hung up on four times. i went online and it said that our product was to be delivered today and gave a delivery guy&'s phone number. i called him and he said that a piece was missing in the warehouse. no one called me and i cannot even speak to the store. when i call the store, i keep getting rerouted to customer service which keeps hanging up on me. i am livid!!
I am beyond disgusted with This furniture store. My sister ordered a coffee table and 2 end tables 1 month ago and the first delivery that came the furniture was damaged. We send it back. Why the hell would they send us damaged furniture? My sister got a call today saying the route got dropped for this weekends delivery now our furniture isn&'t getting delivered for another week or 2. And they had the audacity to say I&'m sorry there&'s nothing we can do???!!! OK. I will be filing a complaint with corporate and taking them to the BBB, let&'s see how much their company cares about customer service then. This is beyond ridiculous!!!
Oh, wow, never expected to have a very bad experience that at the end just made me laugh.... Went with my wife to see mattress and we had our first stop at this location. The gentleman at the entrance was very rude, the way he talked to us, not even a &"welcome&", &"how are you&" &"good evening&". Then after few minutes he came back with same attitude and here comes the funniest part, he asked us : &" how much money do you have, cuz we have mattresses from 10,000 if not I can show you the ones from 250&", hahahaha was very funny. Oh well I forgot to tell him I only had 2,700 to spend in cash and also a good credit, not perfect, and 1 CC with 10,000 limit. This review is just to let you know how funny was this service. I&'m sure there are great people working here and also a lot to buy too.
BEWARE , when you&'re buying furniture from Ashley&'s , don&'t waste your money on furniture warranty, it&'s a scam, google review their warranty company, it&'s called GBS enterprises, I called to put a claim for my couch, the treads were coming apart, they asked my wife how long has it been since the treads were coming off, she said maybe couple of months I don&'t know,and that was it , the lady said it should be within 30 days, my wife told the lady that she said maybe couple of months I&'m not sure, the lady again said you told us couple of months, and we can&'t change the claim, we&'re denying it ,I will never buy another piece of furniture from Ashley&'s , their warranty is to only scam extra money, and they sure know how to train their employees how to make you give them the answers that they want to hear,so they can deny a claim.

BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE BOUGHT A 5,000 $ mattress and it is infested with BED BUGS!!!!!!! The delivery service delivered our mattress without any packaging this should have been a huge red flag. Never had this issue before and ASHLEYS FURNITURE is doing nothing to help us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have a newborn baby and I am terrified that the bed bugs might have spread to his mattress. We have been sleeping on this bed for no more than 2 months!!!!!!!!! Me and my baby have been bitten up. I am so disappointed in this business, you are better off at IKEA or Living spaces. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!

Bought a king split with 2 different bases 13k, couches, and end tables Aug 2nd. Have called Ashley furniture at least 10x, walked in the store, all saying they will take care of it. Give dates they will take care of it. Still no couches, now due Dec. 30th. Bed is still not set up. Don't do buy here. They are full of promises and absolutely NO ACTION. Worst service I have ever received.

Beware Ashley HomeStore. We purchased a dining room table and four stools there about a year ago. We also purchased the 3-year warranty covering all repairs. First issue, with nominal water exposure the table stains white. Second issue, we picked up one of the stools and ALL four screws ripped out of the wood. By "ripped," I mean that they cannot be screwed back in because it isn't real wood you see, but a cheap composite. I called both the Northridge store where we purchased the set and the Customer Service line and could not reach a human being. I then tried chat and could not get an agent on the line. Ashley's website is covered with disclaimers about bad service due to COVID, but last I heard, you can't catch it through the phone or computer. Really, really cheap furniture and terrible customer service. Beware.

I am very upset with Ashley store service in Canoga Park. We bought 2 bedrooms on 08/11/2020. They stated it will be delivered in the middle of September (3-6 weeks). We received part of order on 09/23/20/ They promised to bring other part on 09/29. No call. No delivery date. Called them right now. About 25 min on hold. They said they need to schedule delivery (?!). It means if I would not call, nobody bother to call me. Now delivery scheduled on 10/15. Also, one of bedroom was on sale (14 pieces). Sales person actually lied. She said it includes 2 night stands (in reality, one) , etc. It looks like there is no 14 pieces. Maybe 10. It is my fault, I trusted her and did not check order print out. Other bedroom looks like has different color. Ok, it was not expensive order. About 2000+. But anyway, it was my first and last purchase at Ashley. Never again. We bought other furniture in Scandinavian Design and Living Spaces. Good experience. No problems with deliveries.

Our living room and master bedroom were getting really old and worn out. We had to replace the furniture in both rooms. Hayam, Abel and Zahad were very helpful and were able to help us replace all our old furniture without having to pay an arm and a leg for it!

I paid 1560.36 for a sofa and love seat back on 9/1/20 just to find out on delivery day they were trying to deliver one peace only, I went to the store right after and they told me to wait till tomorrow for my refund, worse part of the story the delivery guy mention i supposedly acepted such delivery when I never did, what a way to do business, tomorrow i will try to get my refund, i will not recommend nobody to buy at this store ,they are terrible for customer service, i ask to speak to the store manager and i only got the sales manager business card, her name is Zahr El Aawar and she decline to give me a refund only till the sofa return to the warehouse , what a way to treat the customers.

Anyway I lost all trust in the store, the employee and the transaction when she came to speak with us(my husband and I had returned to the sofa to just make some final decisions and speak about what else we wanted with it)so like I said I lost all interested when she returned saying that it actually wasn't on sale with 40% off, that it was actually like 2,900 and it'd be more with taxes and delivery..... Not only did I loose interest because she pitched the wrong price, but it made wonder " does this employee really know this product, what else might she pitch that isn't correct" And on top of that the sofas are cheaper on the website and the sofa does come in white, just found the sofa by Ashley sold on different websites...... i would prefer to purchase a sofa in store to keep a location in business and to give them the sale... since I work in retail and know how important conversion is....

Not thrilled, we had $250 in gift cards given by my mom that were unusable. Not even for tax or delivery. This is the second time we have walked out of the store unhappy (first time was about 5 years ago). We won't need to check back in again. May as well been given cash as a gift if you cant use the gift card. Honestly would prefer to give less stars but I know that is tough to deal with as a business

They pushed the delivery date to early September. They promised us a $150 gift card which never came. When we called to check on the delivery time frame a day before the new delivery date, they lied and said they&'d tried to get a hold of us (we had no missed calls and no messages) to tell us it still wasn&'t ready. Pushed the delivery date to September 19th (today). They asked if we wanted to have just the chaise delivered without the sectional sooner, and we told them no we&'d wait until the 19th for the full couch.They finally confirmed delivery and things were looking up. We brought our old couch to the curb and had the house cleaned in preparation. Finally they arrive, and the delivery guys (who were very nice) said they only had the chaise . They brought it back to try and sort it out. Now we can&'t get a hold of anyone to try and figure out what&'s going on. It&'s been over 2 months and we have no couch. The level of unprofessionalism, awful customer service, terrible communication and straight up lying is unfathomable. Not sure how they can justify treating their customers like this especially during these times. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Shame on this company. Hopefully we can get a full refund for this couch and take our money elsewhere.Apparently this is NOT an isolated incident so please think twice before you order something that needs to be built.

The people at the store location in Santa Clarita were wonderful. The delivery guys were wonderful. However I waited two three weeks for our bedroom set or so. When it arrived the bed has two left legs and they can&'t put it together. They call customer service warehouse or what ever it is. They put me on the phone with the person and they tell me that if I refuse the order, who knows how many more weeks or months till I get the bed. So then they tell me it&'ll take five days to order the leg and then you&'ll have to schedule a person to deliver it and put it together. While this is going on I did not check one of the drawers on one of the nightstands. It is totally rubbing and scraping . Now the guys have left and I have signed in the rush. I call them back and they won&'t take a return on it they must send someone to repair it sometime in October. We didn&'t buy the cheapest bedt at Ashley, definitely not. However, customer service and them quoting their policy when they have messed up order and not going the extra mile to fix an issue leaves them with ONE STAR. I will update and adjust my review with how they handle it moving forward.

The sales person who assisted my daughter and I made a condescending remark and it wasn't funny to me at all. She asked me if I would type in my personal information into their the system and as I made my way to the keyboard to do so, she made the remark, "so you can work for me! haha!" I asked her if she was going to pay me... This exchange was not funny because in July, I was laid-off from my job of almost 15 years due to the pandemic. Additionally, we were purchasing some cute pictures from the clearance rack, there were comments made in a language that we didn't understand....and the audacity to go and do a price check...it seems as if they didn't believe that the tags on the items were correct...we didn't change them, they were priced that way by an employee before we got to the store. Wont be returning to this store ever again. Lastly, the manager and the representative that was assisting us continued to speak to each other in a language that we didn't understand. I found that to be insensitive to us as customers of Ashley's.
This was the worst service I endured in my life. The person that was the manager was on social media during the time she was suppose to be helping and had a regular staff member trying to correct the problem. When I asked for a refund after paying 4700 dollars in cash they told me it would be 2 weeks before I could recieve my money. I have currently been waiting since July for my furniture to no avail. People I'm warning you DONT SHOP HERE!!!

I wish I could give them zero stars worst customer service ever. I call back there customer service number and it keeps me on hold for 15 mins and then hangs up how else are we suppose to get in contact with the company or someone to even help you. I’ve been to the store multiple times we set up a date and then they reschedule the date for us. WORST BUSINESS EVER

Delivery department has switched my delivery day four times .im disappointed that i had to wait so long for a product that was in the showroom.Loyalty is everything i just didnt feel that back.Hoping i get my furniture this time around.This should not be a concern for a returning customer.Summer bummer forsure!looking forward to not having an experience like that having be restless for an essential in your home your bed.This company does not care about customer service.Did not get my bed Frame in time! We visited this place once and from the moment we enter the store, the customer service was not the best. The employee who was in the entrance said that they work only by appointment. They made us feel unwelcome, I didn't see customer service at all. I won't recommend this particular store.

I purchased about 1400.00 in furniture and extended warranty. The couch has been broken one day after we got it. I have called the warranty company and left 4 messages as instructed to and still have not got a call back for someone to come fix it. This is very poor customer service. I would not purchase anything from them again. I will be calling the corporation.
We had a pretty great experience yesterday! Buying furniture was as easy as 1,2,3! We were in and out. We went in knowing what we wanted. Amy the furniture sales rep took care of us as if she knew us. She has great customer service! Made our buying experience absolutely wonderful!
I recently bought a bed frame and a mattress. Nabila Kharal provide great customer service. She was able to reduce the price of the bed frame by 80% with the purchase of the mattress. She was very patient and very customer oriented. I had a great shopping experience.
Stopped in to buy a recliner and had Alam and Abel the manager help me out and process my order . The service was fast and easy and got everything I wanted . Great service will definitely be going there again in the future !!!!!

First time making a purchase here at Ashley's and my last . I purchased a dinning set , a server and a rug all online . Before i purchased i called the store to ask about the chairs and why they would come via UPS and not directly from Ashley's . Apparently they didn't have them at their store warehouse . I find this to be fraud . I think the reason why they do that is so they don't have to be assembled . I paid 200 dollars for the In home delivery which means they assemble what needs to be assembled , in this case it would be the table and chairs right ? Well turns out that the UPS delivery took forever and my table was delivered first . The lady at the Northridge store told me to make sure i get there chairs delivered first so that when the delivery crew came they can put the chairs together as well . Well that didn't happen . Finally , my chairs arrived and i called to schedule an appointment to have someone come out and assemble my chairs , since i did pay 200 dollars for this service . Well the person on the chat said they don't have that service !!! I said what ?!! After a long period i was finally able to have them schedule an appointment but the nearest appointment was in two weeks. I had no other choice than to take it . I was able to have someone help me out to assemble my chairs. The chairs seem to be defected and are not even ! This was a nightmare ! I still have to mention about the rug really quick . Since i purchased online . When it arrived i wasn't really satisfied with it . This was a almost 600 dollar rug so i want to make sure it's something i like . I called to see how i would go about returning it , spent over one hour on the phone and no one answered . I left a voicemail for a call back Well it's been three days and i still have not received a call . I decided to chat online with an agent , and they told me that i would have to pay for shipping since it has to be sent back to their warehouse ! The option of returning it at a store location was a no . Oh and i was i told that it has to be in its original packaging . Really ?! This was overall a terrible experience . I spent over three thousand dollars and this is how they treat their customers . Don't buy at Ashley's furniture !!

Our experience at Ashley was excellent! We were looking for bed and sectional and couldn't be happier. Qazi is simple the best! He's so patient and helpful. He made our experience a very pleasant one. Abel, the store manager, was also very patient and helpful. I really appreciated his appreciation for his employees. Worse experience in this store. It started with the delivery and customer service. I've left 3 messages and up to now I haven't heard back. I've been calling for the last 2 weeks and nothing!!!!! They promised a refund and I didn't even get that! I have always gone to the Van Nuys store and this time I decided to do Northridge close to home and it has been a nightmare and the biggest mistake!!!!!
I ordered a soda and live seat combo back on May 25th. All went well in the store... they said I would receive my Furniture by June 30th. Great since we were moving around then. They said I would get a call to confirm delivery. None of which came. In the first of July I tried calling, spent hours (yes hours) on hold. No answer. I gave up after 3+hours. Tried another number. Same thing. I tried the next day. After over an hour I got through to a person. They said that my loveseat would be in the warehouse on the 29th (of July), and my sofa the 8th of Aug. so I cancelled my order for a full refund. She said I would get a call to confirm within 48 hours. Never happened, and still no refund. I went to Bob&'s discount furniture and got both by the arriving by the 22nd of July. Will never order from here again!!! Terrible customer service!!!

I have not been to an Ashley store in years, and was searching other stores and online sites for a sofa set that I liked, without success. I saw several sets that I loved in this store, and the prices were great. The sales staff was very professional, helpful without hanging all over you! Although I had not planned to actually make a purchase today, I did and I am very pleased with the deal I got. Will definitely be back.

I dont understand why Ashley Home has such great reviews on google when their yelp is 2.5 stars and a much more realistic view of this store. The workers here took advantage of my immigrant mother, swearing to her that she could pay off her purchases in three years with no interest. My mom even DOUBLE CHECKED, thinking this deal was too good to he true and they said “Yes, 3 years no interest.” Now three years later we see that of the thousands she’s paid, only a couple of hundred dollars have been deducted from her balance due to the insane interest fee they added after a year. They lied to her knowing she couldn’t read English well and convinced her to agree to an unknown 30% APR... horrible lying service. Check their yelp to see that I am not alone in being scammed

The quality of the merchandise is excellent, but the customer services for this store is very poor. When entering the store I was greeted, but immediately assessed as someone who would not be able to afford anything in that store. None of the associates asked if I needed help or what exactly am I looking for. Instead they greeted the people behind me and moved on to help other people that they judged as better prospects. I was tired of being ignored base on my looks, I finally approached a sales associate by the name of Ani who was pleasant and helped me make my purchase. Also, the Merchandise didn’t have prices on the items which made it difficult to buy something without getting help from an associate. Overall wear your Sundays best if you want to be helped in that store.
I was at Ashley Furniture twice within a week and I cake back because Chrissy was so helpful yet laid back and non invasive. It was difficult to make a decision with a wide selection and great prices. I’m looking forward to receiving my living room set.
I purchased two electric recliner chairs in December of 2016. Recently, one of the motors burned out while the chair was stuck in the recline position. I cannot find the warranty information so I called customer service to get that info. Because of this COVID thing they claimed that their call volume was very high and that I had to leave a voice mail and someone would call me back in 48-96 hours. Here it is, over a week now with no call, so I called again....same garbage. All I want is the information to get the motor replaced so we can sit in the chair!!!Absolutely ridiculous. I am subject to stay at home orders myself but ALWAYS call my accounts back. UNACCEPTABLE!!

I ordered a bed frame on April 18, 2020 and received notice that it would take an entire month for it to be delivered due to the pandemic. That was understandable. Now less than 24 hours before my scheduled delivery I receive a call saying the footboard isn’t available and the delivery won’t be happening for another week. No other explanation was given. I would like to understand why all of the parts weren’t available when this order was placed almost 30 days ago. I’ve taken apart my entire bedroom in preparation for the delivery tomorrow morning for nothing. This is the second poor experience I’ve had with Ashley furniture and I should have learned my lesson the first time. Never again. Let’s hope the bed frame is worth this headache.
I was looking for a cheap small dining table as a temporary item until I could find what I really wanted- Ashley furniture is not my typical style (nothing wrong with a very Americana style but not my cup of tea). I was looking for a generic table that I wouldn&'t mind just throwing away. I walked into the store (I will admit I have never stepped foot in any Ashley Furniture store-and never will again). I was greeted by an older Asian gentleman (I use the term gentleman loosely...very loosely). He ask me if he could help me find anything and I stated I was just looking. I found the dining area and did not find what I was looking for...and I was going to head out the door to leave and continue the search at another store. He was following me around the store-creepy (after I stated I did not want help). When her cornered me he asked me yet again if I wanted help-I stated no yet again. He evidently didn&'t like how I said no and he starts yelling at me in the store-he yells at me &"I AM ONLY DOING MY JOB!&" he also yelled at me &"SOMEONE GOT UP ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE BED!&". Before I left I asked to speak to the manager, he realized what I was doing and he hung out and leered at me. While I was speaking to the manager he stayed in close proximity and played on his phone...the manager did apologize and stated that she would speak to him. I doubt she will and frankly I don&'t care if she does. If poor customer service is not what you are looking for keep on looking for your furnishing needs at another store. Avoid this store.
I would give them 0 stars if I could. My first time buying from the store in NORTHRIDGE was a disaster. Accent tables came in with 2 left legs so I could not put together. Cabinet came in with drawer broken and the drawer slide bent. My husband, being a handy guy was able to fix the cabinet but because of that, Ashley took no responsibility. Too bad for them because I was set to buy a living room set next. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. Everything is cheap, overseas garbage!

Went there yesterday and looking for just a bed set but also found a dinning table I was looking for and ended up buying a beautiful matress as well the staff was extremely helpful and patient they even stood open late for us and waited till we was done patiently they wasn't even mad. Donna D the sales person that assist us was the best she knew her stuff in everything we ask and was looking for. She and the manager who's name I didn't get gave us the best prices that was so affordable for us which in fact is the reason we left with so many items best services left as happy customers will go back and highly recommended.. Save yourself the headache and your money!! Don't be fooled! My experience in the store picking furniture out went great but everything else after that went downhill. No wonder the sales associate sugarcoat everything. We ordered couches and a dining table. The couches were the first order to arrive. Not to mention they gave me a time frame so I had to leave work to make sure I was here for the delivery. Well guess what? They brought the wrong couches and it was really difficult to communicate with the delivery men since they did not speak any English. We immediately drove to the store to make sure that what we purchased was not what Ashley tried to deliver that day. The sales associate apologized and we moved on because things like this happen all the time, fine. Then, the dining table arrived a couple of weeks later. We had coordinated the delivery date since we had guests arriving a week later. Well guess what? We waited a month to receive a wobbly, unstable dining table. It was so flimsy!! We could not believe how cheaply made everything was. Our experience with Ashley furniture just keeps getting worse and worse. This will be the last time. Lesson learned.

I'll be honest. I am not the type to write anything on yelp but I have to share this. I purchased a piece of furniture from Ashley's in Northridge and when it was delivered it was damaged. The delivery guy got on the phone and told their dispatcher that the furniture was in fact damage. The delivery guy steps outside makes a call and takes off. The furniture was left without putting it together. I called them asking what had happened and the dispatcher tells me that my wife sign for the delivery. My wife did not sign a thing and once we sent pics of the furniture the dispatcher tells me that is natural to the wood. Dispatcher emails me a copy of a form that we never got showing some one else signature. Not only did the delivery person took off he went ahead and sign the paper work himself. I was told by Ashley's that the furniture could not be replaced and it had to be fixed by one of their technicians. I never paid for a used piece of furniture so what keep it. I called and reported all this and was promised that some one would get back to me but no one ever did. Just please be careful who comes in to your house and I will never buy anything from Ashley's again.

I had a great experience at Ashley Home store. Onnalise was exceptional! She knew the product, was very professional and helped me get everything I needed and more. I would recommend going to her in the Northridge location.
Buyer beware. Purchased a tall kitchen table with 4 chairs, coffee table, end table, sofa table, and entertainment center with fireplace insert. Table was put together in my home by the delivery team, contracted by Ashley’s, not Ashley’s employees. After they left I decided to verify they tightened all parts securely as there are several. To do so I had to tip the table on its side. To my surprise most of the screws were lose, some could be removed by hand. Not good. I had to tighten almost all of them. Of the 4 chairs, 3 were damaged. As others have posted, calling either the store or Customer Service is a joke. Be prepared to be on hold for a very long time. When I was finally able to speak to someone, they wanted to send a technician out to inspect the damage and fix the issues. I said no way, as I paid for new chairs, not ones that needed repair. On top of that, all 4 chairs were extremely dirty, covered with dust as they don’t cover them when out for delivery, and by the amount of dust I doubt they are even covered in the warehouse. With my persistence they finally agreed to deliver 3 new chairs, picking up the 3 damaged ones during the same visit. When the 3 new chairs arrived, 2 were damaged and all 3 were filthy again. Another chore to speak to someone, and of course they wanted to send a tech to fix them. Of course I said no. Long story short, they delivered 2 more chairs that finally were not damaged although again were filthy. Entertainment center arrived damaged. Sofa table arrived damaged. Customer Service again wanted to send out a Technician. Why they insist on fixing what should be new furniture with no damages is beyond me. I said no way, so they delivered new ones with no damage, although like the chairs, they were filthy with dust. The key to having anything delivered is to insist they inspect your purchase before having it loaded on the truck for delivery. Forgot what they call it, yet they have some type of special inspection that can be done. Insist for this, as otherwise you can expect to receive something with a scratch, crack, missing stain, etc... I think most people settle for what they get, which is why you don’t see more poor reviews calling out issues as I have. When you pay for new, you should not settle for a Technician to fix anything. And Ashley’s needs to inspect all items before loading something damaged and actually delivering it, wasting everyone’s time. Amazing they don’t and amazing they deliver filthy furniture. They don’t even wipe anything down before bringing items into your house. Again, buyer beware. Stand up for what is right if you buy anything.

On November 30th we had purchased a sleeper couch. The couch has arrived after waiting over a month!! We were so happy since my friend sleeps on the couch and she was looking forward to sleep on the "real" one. We were terribly disappointed as the dispatcher told us that he won`t place the couch in our apartment because it is too big. He didn't even try to do it because he was just lazy. We had a four hour window and waited all day long just to find out that they will not put the couch inside our apartment. We had same length of a couch before and they were able to accommodate it. Unfortunately, we were very unlucky to come across a dispatcher who did not want to help. The sad point is that after all that waiting my friend will sleep on the floor. Will never purchase any furniture from that store again. Tomorrow calling for a cancellation of the order.

My mom went it for a CalKing mattress to replace hers and when the employee looked at her and my dad she commented that she was probably mistaken that her mattress was a king because CalKing is for tall ppl not short (1st mistake) then when it was time for delivery which should had been the next day between 6-9 pm the delivery ppl didn’t arrive till 11 pm. (2nd mistake) then when they were putting the mattress on the bed it was the wrong size (3rd mistake) the discriminator of an employee didn’t listen to the customer and ordered a king instead of CalKing. My mom had to go back to the store make sure to order the correct mattress and she had to repay for shipping when it wasn’t even her fault. Then the next day was supposed to be the delivery date again and they again said 6-9 well it was 11:30pm and no delivery yet. The delivery ppl called my mom and told her they were still 50 mins away. (4th mistake) My mom went off and was not gonna wait till 1 am for her mattress. FIRST OF ALL who delivers that late!!!! The next day my mom spoke to the discriminator employee that helped her out and told her that if her mattress didn’t not get to her house by noon to cancel everything. She finally got her mattress but now they forgot to deliver the mattress cover. Till this day she hasn’t gotten it and it’s been a week already. They sent her a txt asking from 0-10 how likely would she recommend family and friends to Ashley’s well she responded with a 0. They replied with and apology’s for not exceeding her expectations. She does want Ashley to know that is not that they didn’t exceed her expectations because she is not picky but because they didn’t keep their promise to the delivery times.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. They delivered a torn-up sofa and damaged our wall in the process. Impossible to get a customer service rep to answer the phone in under 20 minutes, and once you get someone, they are all ignorant idiots working out of their home, yawning the whole time. I will NEVER buy from Ashley again. The whole time I am writing this review I have been on hold, still waiting for some clueless person to answer the phone. It's been almost a month and still waiting for them to fix or replace the aofa. Horrible, horrible company.

Ashley Home Goods has a very bad delivery system. We purchased two couches and were told that we would receive the delivery on a Thursday and would receive a call on Wednesday giving us a time frame for the delivery. The call came through on Tuesday and our delivery was scheduled for the following week. This messed our plans for the weekend. I called coustmer service and they said that I would receive a text as to the time of delivery. They only had my land line and therefore I would never receive the notice. Aslelys needs to have an information sheet as to their develivery policies.A few days ago I receved a text to rate them on a scale of 1-10. I gave them a 2. They answered with "Sorry for your problem". They were not interested in what the problem was. Shame on Ashley's.
I'm deeply saddened and in tear how bad service I have recieved. On 11/17 I purchased rectional and cabinet worth 4500. They could not get delivery till Sunday 11/24. The sectional was damaged severely. I called spoke to someone said they could get it on 11/27 call back Monday. I called back Monday they laughed at me told me to pay addition 175 for it to come by Wednesday If not then 12/01. Got texted today saying 12/02. I'm going away for 2 mo ths on monday. Called spoke to alex and other ashely reps...they tell me too bad cant do anything about it.

Sales person Donna walked away when asked when furniture changes. She had no clue if it was Spring, summer or fall. She walked away from us when she figured we weren't buying what Ashley had on the floor. It was not what we were looking for. Beige and brown are both ugly. Where's blue? Where's a sectional with console and recliners? Not everyone can have a Chase lounge. In our room, the configuration doesn't work. Not does an oversized ottoman.
Walked into Ashley's furniture today to buy a TV stand upon arrival we were informed everything was 50% off, we had a nice sales Person Eddie but the store manager Ariel (I may have spelled his name wrong) was completely rude They backed out on the 50% on TV stand and then tried to charge $70 for shipping for just the stand that was only 199 when I said we carry out there is no carry out option the manager completely dismissed me and started dealing only with my bf like a chauvinistic pig rolling his eyes, If I could give a minus -5 star for the managers customer service I would.

She looked out for my interest, she was honest about what would be best and why. I showed her the colors of my room and she helped me pick out the best matching furniture. I got an amazing deal. She really made sure I stayed within my budget. I just can’t say enough great things about my experience. I left feeling sooooo happy and content that I made the right decision. Went into this store location after Living Spaces and was welcomed by Glenn. He was incredibly helpful and the prices at Ashley are much more affordable. My Fiance and I purchased a queen sleeper sofa and hallway table that Glenn helped us find. He offered us a great deal and peace of mind that our purchase was protected. Would definitely recommend this store for anyone looking to make a purchase and go directly to Glenn. He is amazing and demonstrated excellent customer service!!

I walked into Ashley's and Marshall was the person who helped me after hours I decided to buy. I was so happy that finally i did something nice and right, God didn't know I messed up big time! A week later they delivered the furniture and every piece of furniture was scratched due to unprofessional delivery team. The delivery asked for $20 in cash to move my old furniture! Can you believe that? That's called STEALING!!!!!! anyhow after 4-5 weeks going back and forth to change or repair my sofas I achieved NOTHING. I had 6 appointments for technician and and and later for exchange. Every single time they left!!!!!!!!!! Without even letting me know! CAN YOU EVEN BELIEVE THAT? i went back to store crying after 6 attempts, and talked to the manager Ariel! He couldn't get anything done!!! I REGRET MY DECISION SO BAD. I gave up after 5 weeks. Not the place you want to order furniture from. Only worth getting if there is a large sale, as everything is very over priced. If you set foot in the store, you will be bombarded by a dozen salesmen fighting for your sale. They actually will try to convince you to get help from them over other salesmen/women. When all I want is to be left alone, no customer cares who gets the commission.The delivery was absolutely botched. Forgotten items the first time and wrong delivery times the next. This place is managed by buffoons. Will be asking for some type of refund, almost a month and they managed to deliver a piece of my furniture, and cannot manage to deliver the rest of it for assembly. A joke of a company.

AMAZING service!!! And a much better selection than the "other guy". We went to another furniture store ("the other guy") and had a horrible experience, waited a nearly a month and a half for a couch only to find out they weren't going to ship us one and never bothered to call us about it! We got a refund and went straight from that store to Ashley's in Northridge. We walked in and we were greeted and helped immediately by a very professional salesman. He heard our needs, showed us our selections, gave us space to look, and when we appeared to have found the right couch, he came over to talk with us. He not only matched the price of the "other guy" but saved us a dollar and set us up with purchasing and delivery, all within 15 minutes! We received our couches a couple of days later on the scheduled delivery date and even the delivery guys were very courteous, hard working, and did a great job setting them up in the living room just as I specified. Such a pleasant experience! I will definitely be back, and I am recommending this location to everyone!

Worst customer service! They honestly are scammers and only care about making a sale! I came in to purchase a bed and a mattress and they didn't tell me that the bed was out of stock so they could sell me the more expensive bed. Before I found out about the fact that they sold me an out of stock item, I asked for delivery for Saturday and they said no problem. One day later I get a text from them saying they are delivering my mattress Friday and I was confused, so after being on hold with customer service for over an HOUR, they told me that the woman who sold me the items put the scheduled delivery on Friday and it was only for the mattress and the bed wouldn't be in stock for at least a month which they failed to tell me at the store. Incredibly unprofessional, rude, and untrustworthy. I cancelled everything and just bought what I needed from living spaces
My wife and I happened upon this store and found a great Dinette Set that we loved. The store was packed. The sales rep did his best but it took quite some time to close out the sale. After we saw a Rug that we liked and bought online from the store. It didn't work out great and when we tried to find out about returns we were very surprised "they have no return policy"! Really? In this day and age? OK. . . I called the store directly and asked for a manager to call and explain. That was 3 days ago. Needless to say, I have made my last purchase at Ashley. Even the “mattress technician” they sent agreed it was defective. And how does “customer service” deal with all that? Long waits on hold, dropped calls, promises of callbacks that don’t happen, unanswered emails, 15 requests for me to send photos (same as the ones their technician took) and a store manager who strings me along and does nothing. I guess it’s Small Claims Court, here we come. Consider this a consumer warning to never shop here! There is even a Facebook group of customers with complaints. Worst. Ever.
My boyfriend, and I went furniture shopping on Labor Day and it went exceptionally well. Glen was the sales associate who helped us out. He wasn't pushy, and even price matched a dresser and chest for us. Glen had excellent customer service. I will definitely be shopping at Ashely furniture again.

Overzealous salesman or racial profiling. When my husband and myself walked into this location we were greeted by Qazi who was sitting in the front. He handed us a flyer and told us about the sales. We spent about 20 minutes in the store, every time we looked up Qazi was standing feet away. At one point another customer needed his attention, he spoke with her while we wandered into the kids furniture section, moments later we look up and he was almost running over into the area, just to again stand 15-20 feet away. Did he think we were going to attempt to steal a bedroom set? It was ridiculous, mind you Qazi, the tall Black man (my husband) you had your eye on so close is a law enforcement officer with LA sheriff dept. Extremely turned off and won't be returning.
We had a great salesmen help us. Really nice guy and very helpful. He helped us out of a little issue and straightened it out for us! That's how you keep the customers happy. Go see Gary and he'll take care of you!

Don't let Donna D. in the Northridge, CA store help you. She doesn't know her stuff and is very rude! I spent a lot of time in the store with her looking for a new sofa, love seat and chair. She started out by asking me to pull up pictures of the sets I had found online while she quickly ran to the bathroom. She was gone 20+ minutes! I had very specific questions that she should have known the answers to but she didn't and couldn't be bothered getting anyone to answer them for her. For example, one of the fabric's I was interested in was microfiber. I asked her several different ways how to tell what it was and where I could find the info on that item to verify and all she would do is touch it and tell me you can tell from how it feels. She showed me several that I knew darn well were not microfiber because I had already researched those online. It ended up a tossup between 2 sets and I told her I was going to think about it overnight and come back the next day. She gave me her business card and literally told me to contact her any time. Her card had a cell number on it and her hours. I texted her when her workday started telling her I found a better deal online but would buy from her if she could beat the price. Her reply called me by the wrong name but she said she would beat the price and also give me a $50 gift card. She asked me to reply "yes" to a text I was going to get to schedule an appointment with her. I never got that text and didn't hear back from her for an hour when she told me she found out she could meet but not beat the price. I replied asking if I would still get the $50 gift card. Her unprofessional and rude reply said she couldn't be on the phone all the time! I ended up going to the Canoga Park, CA store and met with Gaston H. who was absolutely wonderful and made me feel like I was the only person in the entire store.

I also purchased a bed frame and a dresser which I love. The furniture is exactly the style I was looking for modern farmhouse. The delivery team was also very friendly and professional. Purchased a sofa and love seat from here. Very rude once we wanted to price match their own website. Their crazy financing offers aren't available for products that are cheaper on their website, you'd have to purchase it at full in-store pricing to take advantage of their financing. No way around delivery fee. Don't expect to have the product you just purchased in your home for weeks as it takes weeks for delivery. My purchase took 3 weeks to be delivered. Once arrived both products were damaged, with dirty areas on couch and dents on wood. We refused delivery and had to wait another 2 weeks for the new couches to arrive. So we waited and when the 2nd delivery arrived they were once again both damaged. We refused delivery again and I went to get a refund in store the next day. Once arriving to the store I expressed my frustration to the manager and he did nothing just pointed to where I could process my refund. Shame on you management at Ashley's of Northridge.

I cannot believe the level and amount of incompetency in a store PACKED with employees. My husband and I walked in wanting to order the parts of a King size bed we bought from another Ashley's furniture location a few months ago. We misplaced the bolts and screws during a move. The ladies in customer service spent ~30 minutes answering phones and completely neglecting us. It took 3 employees to figure out this minor issue that was happening over the phone. Not one person bothered helping us. Usually the customer in the store is priority, not the calls coming in. When she finally gets to is, she spends another 15 minutes convincing us we don't need the hardware. After we explained to her that we do need it because we know we don't have it and we can't put our bed together without it, she still tried to convince us we could put it together without the missing necessary bolts and screws. After wasting all this time and feeling like we are talking to a wall, we left without placing the order. Weird place. Weirder employees. I'd recommend going to another location.

I bought a Tempur-Pedic mattress and I paid the delivery which included to recycle my old mattress. The individual that went to my house to deliver the new mattress told me that they could not take my old mattress. According to them it had a stain and the only way they would take it if it was wrapped in plastic. At the moment I purchased the mattress I was not informed that I needed to wrap the old mattress in plastic. I bought previously a mattress from Living Spaces and they picked up my old mattress without a problem.

I ordered a furniture set from Ashley's two months ago, everytime they tried to deliver it they said the set doesn't fit through the stair way which is completely unacceptable as the previous owner of my unit and the other 40 units in my complex have bigger furniture that was delivered to them through the same stair way. The third time they delivered it through my front window finally, but there two chairs in my dining set were cracked and useless. The coffee table and end table they delivered was also completely different from what I saw and ordered from the show room display. Now they delivered the same WRONG coffee table twice, I found the same sets on Amazon which has these sets labeled correctly but Ashley failed to do so for their own product. Now for the third time I go to the store and reselect a different coffee table because it's impossible for them to deliver what I exactly ordered. They still haven't sent a technician to fix my two defective chairs. Now in summary, Ashley failed to deliver the furniture I ordered in time, it had 6 failed delivery which cost me a round trip of 20 miles each time from my work to home and on top of that the personnel reponses are " can you use the coffee table set that is wrong for now until we get you another one in a month". This is beyond ridiculous, I filed a complaint with them a month ago, followed up but never heard anything. At this point I still don't have the coffee table and end table I reselected and they're not sending a technician in a timely manner so I'll just fix the chairs myself. I would NEVER EVER buy anything from them, they're the worst of the worst

Eddie, Sofi and Zahr went out of their way to answer any and all questions (there were a lot of them!) and we ended up buying more than we anticipated because the service and prices were so good! We have been looking a long time for the right pieces of furniture and thanks to these 3 exceptional salespeople our search is over! Cant wait for our new house to feel like a home!

Worst customer service ever. Called customer service to talk about an issue we had with something we bought and they were so rude and had a terrible attitude. They told me to come in store, I come in store and all the customer service people were so rude! I talked to a young lady there and she told me I had to call customer service. . . . when an hour before I called and they told me to come in. The people who work on the floor to sell were really nice but those customer service people need to get some sort of training on how to greet customers and basic common courtesy. If you can't get along with people please don't work in a customer service job. Next time I will be going to a different furniture store, definitely don't recommend wasting your time and coming in here.
We went to Ashley's to see what we could find. It's surprisingly that every associate follows you throughout the store to give you accurate information to make a sound decision. I will definitely come back here to make my next sofa purchase or any other piece.

I am so disappointed in my recent experience with Ashley Furniture. I purchased a sectional, a $6,000 sectional, about 2 years ago. The arm on the sectional is literally wearing off. I had purchased the extended warranty, at the assistance of the manager, and was told when I called it wasn't covered. The store sent out a tech and determined it was a manufacturing issue. I figured they would replace the arm and all would be good. . . never that easy! The sectional has been "discontinued" and there was nothing they could do. They gave us a credit of under $200, which is 10% of the purchase of THAT piece. Bottom line. . . that covers that piece. . . what about the $6,000 couch that looks like crap because of the arm? They should have made it right. If they discontinued furniture every few years what good is the warranty? We recently purchased a dining room set for over $2,500. This was prior to getting the results of the "tech visit". I won't purchase from Ashley again. I am getting ready to purchase quite a bit of outdoor furniture for a remodeled patio space and needless to say. . . I won't be buying it from Ashley Furniture.
We ordered some dressers and a mattress today! This post is speaking to the customer service! We mainly dealt with Teresa, she was extremely helpful and informative! Also, there was a wide selection of choices and many options and there seemed to be some great deals! We had a great first experience!

My experience with Ashley was first in Texas. Bought a dresser at Big Lots and I really liked it, so I decided to go to the store. Ended up buying a dining room set. . . no issues, no problem. . . Baybrook store in Texas. So, when it came to a massive remodel here in California, I decided Ashley was inexpensive enough, but still decent. Product aside, what a nightmare. When I purchased the furniture in March, I knew delivery could not be until mid May when my renovation would be complete. We set a date of May 14 with the understanding that it could change with a simple call to the salesperson. First week of May I called my salesperson and asked her to assign May 13 as delivery day and I would have someone there to receive it. She said gladly, and there was no problem. A few days before delivery, I received messages regarding my May 14 delivery. I tried to contact the sales person, but was unable. I called the delivery number and they told me it was set for the 14th and I could postpone if I couldn't be there. It had never been changed. I ended up having to take off work to receive it, and that was a good thing. The delivery men tried forcing one of the sofas through the front door without tilting it and tore the back of the couch on the stucco outside. I was standing there watching them. The king size bed I ordered came with a 9 inch box set, but when put on the rails of the bed (from them) it was so high I actually needed a step to get on it. The delivery man told me that this bed should have never included box springs (which I paid for). He said to sleep on it and let them know the next day if I didn't want them. . . which I did. . . and they said "too bad, so sad, we don't take them back. " But they were happy to sell me low profile box springs for $100 plus the $10. 50 recycle fee (each). They would not take back the originals sent, and yes, this 60 plus year old would have to move the mattress off the bed for them to put the new box springs on. I felt like I had no recourse. . . I had called corporate and they said it was up to the store manager. . . well, he was the one who offered the lo pro for $100 more $$. So I caved and ordered them. . . and then came back to my senses. Went on line to amazon, found a steel and wood lo pro that could be put together easily, bought it, opened the box and took pieces up to the bedroom, and in 15 minutes had my new box spring. Cancelled my order, and will NEVER set foot in that store again. The sales person blew me off, the manager blew me off, corporate blew me off. I don't hold ashley furniture accountable, just this awful store. They all blamed each other. The product is ok for the money, but this store is not worth my time.
Bought a bed frame from Ashley and it broke in about a month. We got the warrantee so they agreed to send someone to fix it. The first guy that showed up showed up and spent an hour looking at the bed and then said it was a broken piece which I told them on the phone. He then said they had to order the piece which took 3 more weeks and then another 2 to schedule them to come fix it. I took off the whole day and sat by the door. Litterally in my living room less than 5 feet from the door. We have a Ring and a doorbell wired into the house. Nothing. After waiting for a few hours I get a call saying they were there and no one was home. I have checked my ring footage and no one from Ashley showed up at all through out the morning. The first time I thought maybe it was just a bad go. But no. My previous review and this one still stand - Their furniture is crap - their service is crap - and they don't care either way. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM EVER.
We bought a tempur-pedic mattress and a sofa for almost $10,000 a 3-4 months ago and we bought the protection plan for it also. We called today to let them know that one side of the mattress was off balance from the other and that the sofa was dirty which includes in the protection plan for a cleaning and and a repair or replacement of the mattress. We spoke to an employee named Fransico from the 800 number after talking to him for 5 mins he claims he couldn't find our invoice and wanted us to go the store which we bought it from and get a copy of the sales purchase and email it back to him. We asked to speak to a super visor which he transferred us to named Kim. Kim also said there was nothing they could do and we needed to go to the store to get some type of proof of purchase from the store it was purchased from. keep in mind the store is an hour away and i cant drive an hour just for a piece of paper to prove my 10K purchase. Overall they were very rude and didn't help us with anything. Bad management
After less than 2 years of normal usage of our sofa, we called the insurance (we bought 5 years protection plan) to fix small tear and armrest since we can feel the nails and after long process we were informed that they won't be able to fix them since they are not covered!! They told us that the insurance will cover and fix everything that's why we bought it.
Bought a sofa on November 2017 and paid extra money for extended 5 years protection plan and I was told that they will cover everything no matter how small it is, I called the insurance on April 17th to file a claim over armrest and cushions, I can feel the nails in the armrest and also there is tear in the side of the sofa due moving. They sent someone to inspect and on May 11 I got an email about an update on the claim status, I called them and was told that they won't be able to fix them since they are not covered!!
First time dealing with Ashley Furniture and it's the last time. Didn't have the experience I expected at all. If you purchase something from them, then most likely it will get delivered damaged to you (multiple times). Manipulative!
When it comes to purchasing, they were very friendly. Less then 2-years later my couches are both ripped & scratched. Although I bought an extended warranty (which the sales person told me would cover "anything" including rips, tares, etc. ) and when I submitted a request (per Ashley they requested that I email them pictures of the couches) I was: Declined for the reason "they do not cover rips/tares/scratches". I won't be purchasing anything from them ever again, they don't stand by their products.
My first experience with this store was smooth and fast. Lucero helped us with the purchase of our couch and dining table. She did everything she could to give us the best deal possible. I would highly recommend this store and make sure to ask for Lucero the next time you are here.
These guys trick senior citizens into opening a genesis credit card to pay off their furniture. What they don't tell you is that after a year, Genesis starts charging 35% interest on the remaining bill and the interest that you saved throughout the whole year would be added to the bill. A $1200 balance due just became $2100 overnight. Do not signup for genesis credit and don't give this shady business any of your money.
i had my bedroom set deliver on tuesday by three employees of ashley furniture . what a nightmare they did not do the installation properly ,, very unsafe they did not installed the three main balance under my bed . it is so unsafe with their deliver and when i called the store they refuse to help me , stay away from this store , visit living spaces i had better service . . run away from this store terrible . check your installation before they leave but they wont tell you

Last year I bought 3 bar stools and the insurance for that. The stools were defective, swivels stuck, flatten seats, the leather has bad finish, legs not even,etc. two months later I tried several times to contact the customer service by phone and online, 4 times waited around 40 minutes on the phone with no answer, online they never returned my complaint, then I went to the store to place my claim the customer service told me wait 72hrs. until a technician contacted me, he came after 4 weeks, I made a report and again they told me to wait yet nobody contacted me. Ashley just sent to my house 3 boxes with on seats seats only but no the legs, I went again to the store and they told me to wait again for a technician(didn't gave me a date) to assemble the stools, in total I have 6 months waiting. My patience is over. I asked them to refund my money, I don't want to wait that long to get more defective merchandise. SUCH HORRIBLE SERVICE !
We were looking for a couch and chair that my handicapped wife could stand up from with no effort. Justin was amazing, knowledgeable and efficient. He was patient with our effort to find the right combination. The product is par excellance and we couldn't be more pleased. We will be back. Highly recommend this store.
Cool place with large selection. Very weird pricing and structures. Apparently everything regular priced was 40% off, which is just about always on - and then there were manager specials, which were even better than the 40 off items. So pretty much everything was on sale...why not just keep low regular prices? Here's the kicker, you can't pickup in store. They're just a showroom. You can pick up in riverside... Or pay a hefty delivery fee. Which actually increases if the item is over 700. Very stupid... It should be based on item size, not price. Not to mention they pretty much force you to get delivery since pickup is 3 hours away. I found that to be rather mischievous. At least allow a free pickup in store option, and the customer's already buying it so you could still charge them a restocking / cancelation fee. I was helped by Mr. Rodriguez. He was very knowledgeable about mattresses (what I went to see) and I appreciated his thoughts and explanations. He was very lax and not pushy, which allowed me to feel comfortable to make my decisions. In fact, he gave me a little mattress test tour, having me try a few and explaining the differences, so I could not only choose the style (coil or foam) I liked but be aware of the style. Overall good experience, forced delivery and odd pricing were a bit annoying, but very pleased with the customer service and selection.

me and my daughter went in about over a month ago selected. a few items but sofa sleeper wasn't in stock, sales lady said it was gonna be in on march 25th. . . . i thought that's a long time to wait but i accepted it. . . i called in today to get a status update and now she is telling me it won't be delivered t march 31st!!!! that's not what she originally told me!!!! omg. . . it will be almost ywo months waiting in a dam sleeper sofa!!! sldo not purchase from this place they lie to you. . . first of all i wasn't gonns buy anything here but they were practically begging us to make a purchase that day. . . . i wouldn't recommend anyone to buy from here!!!!! and when they first delivered our other itmes the delivery was really late than what they told us and they didn't deliver the box spring for queen size bed we purchased had to wait another day for them to come back out again!!!! they suck here!!!! poor service, lying sale people!!!!
I'm not happy with Ashley furniture , when you buy stuff from there they will tell you oh is 1 year warranty anything happen we will fix it for free or replace it but technically no , they just try to get customers so I don't recommend anyone buy from them the quality also bad I, im so not happy with them , when you called he customers service also it's to much they don't answer your call almost 30 minutes long . I ordered this on Black Friday and got it delivered on December 9th. Upon delivery of this sofa the delivery guys damaged the apartment stairs and other places. I have filed claim with AshleyHomes since December and they have denied the claim now stating they did not damage it. This was my first transaction with this company and because of this terrible service my mother is now facing a $1200 charge from the landlord and other negative issues. The neighbors and I saw the damages being done infront of our eyes and have provided all the photos and everything to their department but they are denying everything. Because of this one transaction with this company my mom is facing this charge and possibly legal actions from the landlord. My mother is disabled and do not have that $1200 to pay the landlord for the damages that this company has caused. She only had that little money to buy this furniture on Black Friday but this company is basically ruining her living situation.
Ashley's furniture is the worst I have ever bought in my entire adult life. This furniture is like cardboard. Their customer service is bad when you want them to fix or replace furniture that is damaged they don't believe you and they send a manager to inspect the furniture. The Warehouse manager is rude. Never buying Ashley's furniture ever again.
Went in there last night expecting to buy a mattress, barstools and a dresser, could have easily been a $6000 sale for the right salesman. Unfortunately, the wrong employee decided to waste our time and we purchased a mattress elsewhere. We still needed our dresser and barstools though so we went back in tonight. Thankfully Ryan greeted us and somehow remembered seeing us in the showroom last night. He immediately answered our questions and was eager to help us get exactly what we wanted. He, the manager Jordan and the two awesome ladies at the desk went above and beyond for us. Only downside is all of the paperwork that has to be signed.
Just purchased a mattress. I was promised by the sell representative I shouldn't have a problem with delivery since I'm only home after 4pm. Once I received the text I called the 1800 number. The lady was so rude. She questioned my work schedule like I was lying to her. She couldn't believe I work 7 days a week. I was lied since the start. I will not be buying anything from here! Came in to purchase a mattress for Black Friday. Was told if we purchased a Tempurpedic mattress we could get whatever bed-frame for free. We thought this was such a great deal. Went ahead and purchased our mattress and chose our bed-frame. Mattress was delivered in 1 week with a temporary metal frame as the bed-frame we choose was back ordered for 1 month. 1 month later still no bed frame. It's now FEBRUARY STILL NO BED-FRAME. My husband called in to see what was happening bed-frame was now backordered until the end of MARCH. My husband decided to go in store to speak with a manager and let's just say the STORE MANAGER needs help with customer service as he was being very unprofessional and sarcastic with my husband. We ended up choosing a different bed -frame because we wanted the headache over with. We wanted anything delivered right away. Today we get a call at 7:30am the delivery will be made in 30 minutes it's now 5 hours later and still nothing. Would not recommend this place to anyone. I wish we could return everything back but rather not deal with it! UPDATE: received our bed-frame for it to be infested with spiders. We have a two month old baby and there's spiders freaking all over !!!! Never again will I be purchasing from this place.
I love my bedroom set so much I had to go back for my Son's...Dealing with the delivery and customer service is one thing but the sales person there is the only reason I keep coming back. Lizandro is such an excellent sales person and very knowledgeable of his products. I hate to walk in to a store and be bombarded with sales people, but Lizandro is such a patient person. He definitely is not one of those pushy sales people. He is very honest and friendly. I'm super excited to receive my Son's new bed. Thank you Lizandro for all your help in finding the right mattress for our needs.

Horrible furniture!!!! I bought a living room set a little over 2 months ago and both the sofa and the loveseat’s frame broke!! Are you serious!! My previous set was over 10 years old and it was perfectly fine other then it looking. I do not recommend you buy anything from this place you’re better off going to IKEA

Ashley's furniture sales defected mattresses and refuse to do anything about it because it has stains. I havent had my mattress for over a year and I wouldn't be complaining about it if it wasnt defected. avoid Ashley's furniture. greedy company
This review is based off my first experience with Ashleys and sad to say it was far from good. Get ready to read. . I have heard good things from this store by family members that have bought good furniture for decent prices. I just moved into a new place about two months ago and was excited to go sofa shopping. Felt like ashleys was a good place to start. I went one Saturday just to take a look and a sales rep by the name of Marshall seemed to be very helpful with trying to find a sofa that fit our needs and even offered us 40 percent off. We found a sofa that we felt would fit perfectly in our home, very comfortable, and reasonably priced. Marshall had stated that they can price match or honor the price online if they had it cheaper, left to go check and came back stating they didn't have the sofa online. Since we were first time buyers we were dumb enough to believe him and bought the sofa. Later that week I found my sofa on their site for about $150 dollars cheaper so he lied. Went back to the store to get it price matched and Jacob the store manager was more than happy to do that for us and got our price adjusted. We were expected to get our sofa two weeks from that day of purchase. The day comes and it came early than our time frame given so we were excited. Now let me tell you, I have never had an experience as bad as I did that day. This was last Saturday. They call my husband to notify us that they were our front. He tried to tell them to go thru the back since they would of had more room and rather than the stairs going in a spiral as they did in the front, the back stairs go straight up and would of made it easier on them to take the sofa up the one flight of stairs. They completely disregard that and go thru the front to find out it didn't fit the hallway. . what a shocker there since we already knew it would be harder to take on that side of our building. NOT TO MENTION THEY UNWRAPPED MY SOFA BEFORE IT EVEN GOT TO MY DOOR. I had a fabric sofa that was touching the dirty carpet of the hallways and was handed the cushions by one do the crew members. Fine it didn't fit l, husband tells them to try the back way. They go to the back take one look and said no I'm taking this back it won't fit. One crew member, Jonathan, is on the phone with the store and is being told to attempt and to take pictures so that way we know it doesn't fit as well as the store so both are covered. Caesar REFUSED to try because he knew he messed up by uncovering my sofa and told us he didn't want to risk messing our sofa up and having to pay for it. We said fine we will take up ourselves and said no that he will take my sofa back to the store. After an hour of going back and forth he ended up taking it back. On top of everything else he accused us of stealing his drill that he later found on floor where he left it. I went back to the store to talk to a manager and to be honest ONLY reason why I'm giving three stars because in the mist of all this, he did try to help us out. It isn't his fault that this happened to us but in the end we ended up with no sofa. Jacob called the dispatching place that sent out those delivery guys and the "best" they were able to do was attempt to deliver or sofa two weeks later on a Monday. Both my husband and I work we wouldn't be there to deliver the sofa so then I went next day again to the store and was able to get it delivered sooner for a second attempt. We finally got Ashely's own delivery people who were really helpful and really did try to see if our sofa would fit since the first three didn't try thru the back. Sadly it didn't fit but it was definitely not fair that we had to wait another week to officially find that out when they should of done that the first day. So guess we have to return it. If you decide to shop here, make sure you check online to see if they have your sofa cheaper so they can price match it and make sure that if you make that purchase and you get it delivered to you, make sure to specifically ask for Ashleys people. Top 5 reasons why I loathe Ashley's HomeStore: 1. The minute I walk in to this place I get bumrushed by pushy commission-hungry salesmen. Being attentive and helpful is good but there is a balance you should strive for without being too pushy. It's 100% clear they only care about making a sale (whether it's right for you or not) as they stalk you throughout the store. 2. I found an outdoor set that I rather liked and was urged to buy it because they were "on sale" at a very low price. Then the salesman goes through the whole song and dance scheme of getting the manager to come over to give an even lower price. They are really big on theatrics of this sort that may work on some people thinking they are getting an amazing deal. Long story short: they told me the set was $2500 but they knocked it down to $1300 due to the "manager's special" but afterwards I went online and found a similar set for $600. It seems they do the stereotypical raising of the price to "reduce" it to make you think you're getting an amazing deal when you are actually getting the regular price. 3. I ended up buying a couple chairs here that were "on sale" but 1 month passed and the chairs never came. I had to call them and ask them before they told me they were back ordered on that item for 4 months! If I hadn't called they never would have contacted me!! Anyways that got me looking and I found similar chairs online and they sold for the same price despite not being "on sale" like Ashely. More proof that they raise prices to pretend like they are reduced for you. What kind of company sells an item that is not only back ordered but they do not even tell the customer about the back order? 4. When I called to cancel my order with them they wouldn't do it over the phone. They make you go back in to their store to cancel a back ordered item. On top of that when I arrived in store and told them I wanted to return an item, the once pushy salesman then become aloof and absent. It seems they only want to help you when you're paying them a commission. 5. The dark haired lady at customer service who handled my return was terrible. I walk up to the counter and 3 ladies were just talking to each other while I stood there waiting. I tried being patient but after a minute I had to interrupt them in order for them to help me. The lady who handled my return took my info then asked me to sit down in the waiting area. WTF? How long does it take to do a return? I was the only customer there. So I waited. Then another customer strolls in and starts asking lady 2 some questions. My return lady then chimes in on her own and starts talking with the other customer, meanwhile I'm waiting. After a couple minutes I had to standup and loom over her before she went back to working on my return. Why don't you finish helping customers and let them move on with their day before you help customers that comes in afterwards? She has no respect for customers time. She was working 1/27/2019. These are the kind of people working in their CUSTOMER SERVICE of all places. TLDR: I was drawn in by the cheap prices but trust me you can find cheaper and better quality elsewhere. And on top of that their customer service is terrible. On the whole if you google reviews it seems they are pretty poor quality furniture as well. It seems Ashely is only excellent at marketing and selling a low quality product due to their multiple locAtions and misleading sales tactics that will work on individuals who are either too busy or unable to look around at other options.
Well to say the least once again the worst customer service ever. . . today I went by to see if I can a picture to put on my wall When I walked in the store there must of been at least 6 or sales people standing around not one of them said anything to me. . . . when I was walking around at 4 sales people walked past me and not one ever asked if I needed any help ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I was walking out and said something to sales person that nobody offered to help me and her response was I'm sorry to hear that and continued to fix the bedding. Didnt her name and I said to her that the store lost my business. STILL NO RESPONSE FROM HER And I walked out. . . DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
Horrible customer service. Their business design sucks! I went into the store, found an accent table with 2 end tables (a set), they had 5 of them in the store. I basically begged them to let me buy one of the sets in the store to take home. They refused to sell me any of the store models. They said I would need to order it and have it shipped. So basically, be prepared when you go in, you will leave empty handed no matter what you do. This is why the amazon concept is kicking ass. Stores like this ensure that there will be no retail stores left standing in a few years.

This is a terrible company and awful store. The first time my husband went in a a very pushy woman kept coming up to him asking him if he needed anything. The second time we went in together was slightly better and we dealt with a nicer salesman. Bought an accent chair. It was delivered on the 31st and I've had it for 6 days. Didn't know about the company's no return policy because of our sales person. Now they are telling me I have to potentially keep the chair. Totally ridiculous. How is this company still in business? The chair is in perfect condition. Never buying from them again.
