They screwed up my delivery. I had set up with the sales rep a delivery of bedroom furniture. They showed up my living room set instead. Meanwhile, the living room was packed with all the items from my bedroom. Total chaos. When you do purchase from them, beware of possible delivery faux pas.

I purchased a 3 piece sectional living room set. Got a delivery date, took the day off from work. Got rid of the old set. Delivery showed up, one piece damaged, one pice the wrong color, the wedge was the only thing they that was ok. They took everything but the wedge, left me with no furniture. I called the Oxnard store, was told they would work something out and call me back. The next day, literally 24 hours late, I had to call them back, I spoke with the store manager who assured me he would call me back with an answer. The next day, now 48 hours later I had to call them yet again....Not once did a single person from this store call me back. I finally spoke to another Manager named Austin who managed to get me some answers. I went almost a week with no furniture. .. Next, I called to cancel the delivery of the oversized chair that I ordered. I was told they would credit my card back that day. 24 hours later I called back because there was no credit on my card. I was told again that she would do it with in an hour, I am currently making my 3rd phone call to cancel and get a credit. Not a good experience........I won't ever shop there again.

We've purchased from here a number of times. We like a lot of what they have to offer, but the sales person atmosphere is pretty lousy. You feel like you're being stalked for a sale, and if the first person who greats you isn't very helpful, you're kind of stuck with them.

We Moved Into Our New Apartment August First Were Told We Would Have Furniture On A Certain Date it Is Now August 29th & Still No Furniture We Have Been Calling EveryDay For The Last 2 & A Half Weeks And Still No Furniture Keep Being Told Its On Back Order Not Once But About 5 Times! aweful experience. we waited over two hours for them to process our card. they tried to double charge us. the reason we waited two hours because our representative, rosie, put in our zip code wrong and so she couldnt process our card. she also repeatedly called us the wrong name. she was also assisting other customers and us at the same time. soooooo aweful. would never work with her again. claudette is amazing. i worked with her originally.

I dealt with Bobby over the phone. He made a KILLER deal on a sofa/loveseat set, came in the same day and took care of paperwork/payment, and had the furniture delivered and installed two days later, as quoted. They beat the internet retailers on price, on service, and on delivery time by a LOT. A+ experience, and would come here again as a result.

They have the worst customer service. When we ordered everything was two months late. We also paid for a protection plan for the furniture and have spent weeks trying to get someone to help us with that. I've called maybe 15 times and all that happens is empty promises.

We ordered a multi piece set from Ashleys. Everything took at least a few weeks which was understandable. What wasn't very cool was that our piece still hasn't been delivered. I kept getting text messages to confirm certain delivery dates which I confirmed and made sure I was home for. It wasn't until right after the scheduled delivery time passed that I would then get a phone call to once again reschedule for close to two weeks away. This happened TWICE. TWICE I made sure that I was home and waiting for them and twice I wasn't told of any plan to reschedule until after the delivery time passed. To make it worse there were no apologies or explanations, I'm just expected to reschedule and trust that it won't happen again. I will never buy from them again.

To be honest I do not think ashley's furniture even deserves one star.. I purchased two full bedroom sets from Ashleys a few months ago and let me just say I wish I could go back because all I have is regret. When my furniture was delivered I had noticed a lot of scratches on one of the night stands, and two drawers on my dresser would not open. When I told the delivery man this information I was told to buy paint and that that's how the drawers were made on that particular dresser. After about 30 mins of going back and forth I refused to sign for the two items and he finally put them back in his truck. After that he did not put one of the beds together after I had paid for delivery and installation, he asked me to sign a paper saying I refused installation because he was now running late for his next drop off due to the inconvenience of having to put my damaged items back in his truck...... this story could go on forever. Next I had gotten my first statement from Ashleys and I noticed a $90 charge that I had no idea what it was for. When I asked they told me if was for my night stand, however it didn't make sense due to the fact that my two furniture sets were purchased in bundles and not separate pieces, which is why the rest of my bill is a lump sum amount and not random charges for each item.. lastly, now that it has been a few months of having my furniture, the wood has chipped, the slats on the bed are already needing to be replaced and that's pretty sad when one of the furniture sets is used in the guest room and has only been used maybe 4 times.... don't go to Ashleys. You will regret it and once they have taken your money they do not give a damn about you.

This is by far one of the worst overall experiences to date. 2 months ago we ordered a table set with 2 couches. A rug along with a dining set of 8 (cups, plates etc) were suppose to come within a week. They stated we would get the rug in 2 days and everything else the following week. We finally got the rug yesterday and it was wrong. We got our plates last week after they only sent us half of it. So that's 2 months and our stuff wasn't there. That's not the major problem. The customer service from the beginning was awful in every aspect. She continuously made mistakes while filling out the paper work on what we agreed upon and it happened to be all up-sells or forgetting the extras. The 4 different times we had to go in to get the wrong or non existent items, we politely stood in front of the help desk, all 4 of the women ignored us for up to 5 minutes....and they weren't even on the phone!!! They greeted us with sighs and ill tempers like we were the issue or causing them distress. Unbelievable. In every aspect, from beginning to end we were treated poorly and wronged on every corner. I have never seen such disregard for quality of customer service.

I had extremely positive experience with Ashley Furniture. The showroom is immaculate and every room is laid out beautifully the designer did an excellent job and I can envision every piece in my home. Originally I came in looking at the Ilena Furniture set. I found it on online. And to my surprise it was just as beautiful online as in person. I decided to wait until it goes on sale and my Sales Consultant Yolanda Ocampo advised me to create a wishlist and purchase the items when it was convenient for me. I loved her enthusiasm and the fact that she did not pressure me to make the sale right away. And she even showed me pieces which will greatly compliment the set I selected and by creating the wishlist I am signed up to be notified once it goes on sales. Furniture is an investment and Ashley Furniture Homestore has quality furniture made in the USA that can withstand the test of time. I have purchase furniture from Ashley in the past and that is why I keep coming back.
