Bought my bedroom set and dining table here. Overall there was a good variety to choose from. When I didn’t see the bedroom set I wanted on display, my sales rep (Darla) took the time to show me sets from that same collection to understand what it would look and feel like. Afterwards, she showed me the dining sets that were on sale. Darla was such a delight to work with! She was very professional and friendly, and ensured I got to take my time to decide which sets I wanted. I highly recommend her!

Good service. But just one advice, please Teach them how to treat customers better. Do not fight over the commission between employees, much less let the client know that they receive a commission. Yesterday I had a very bad experience in this business when I get there, The person who helped me at the beginning noticed that he was very attentive and followed all the time, (obvious I didn’t know that they get commission ether way I don’t care if they get or not) at the end, I asked another person for help and he started fighting whit her partner for the commission in front of me, so embarrassing this situation (they can talk about it in person when the customer is far from them) I feel bad for the guy who was helping us, probably is not going to get a commission but, he got a really bad attitude at the end is not my fault that the store pay probably the minimum and try to do a good pay check whit commission, maybe is fault of the store for no pay right to their employees. You guys have to have a plan for this situation and don’t discuss in front of their customers.MANAGER “never show up” he didn’t care he never come to us to say at least sorry for the situation or inconvenience.

When I arrived from Santa Barbara, I was greeted by MD. I told him that I was looking for a dining room table and chairs, TV cabinet, and a sofa. A very special sofa. He was very nice and very knowledgeable of the products in the store. He took his time, I was not rushed or pushed in a direction I did not want to go. How refreshing that was! I came away from your store a happy and satisfied customer purchasing everything I came in for! Be sure to keep this young man on your staff!

Decent selection and quality. Service was lacking. Staff was unpleasant and unprofessional. We purchased a recliner and a lady there was making our transaction difficult. When we came to pick it up the next day, staff was very slow in getting our paperwork ready.
I’ve never had such good service when it came to choosing a bedframe and Darla was an excellent sales lady!! I want to thank Rosalia. She was very helpful and patient with me. I had to buy a whole bedroom set, dining set a couple of tv stands and a coffee table. I didn’t have much time to do it. The purchase was easy. One visit. But the delivery on the other hand was numerous phone calls to the Philippines and one visit to the store in Oxnard California. I would not buy there again.

Worst customer service ever… problems with product. Missed appointments for replacement product. Several phone calls from “management” yielded no results except pressure to “accept” replacement delivery unconditionally before I saw it (I didn’t; turns out the replacement was more damaged than the original table). Bed frame purchased from sale room damaged in moving it for pick up but “no refunds.” Think seriously if your purchase is worth the aggravation. I won’t go back.

Their furniture is soooo cheap, I have couches I bought 2 years ago and for months I’ve been trying to use the so called warranty they sold me that only covers stains on the covers, the cushions collapsed and of course they’re not covered by the warranty … it’s stated somewhere in the fine print that they don’t mention at the time of purchase!!!

We purchased all of our furniture from Ashley in 2019 and we added a protection warranty because we were recommendedthat since we have kids. The furniture look nice but the quality is not good at all. Some of wood looking tables and bedroom are covered with paper that peels with time. The warranty is a big scam. It has to be one stain or one damage if not they will not covere it. Tried to talk to Ashley manager but he was not helpful. Very disappointed for all the money we spent. NEVER BUYING ANYTHING FROM Ashley again. Protection warranties don't work if you have kids. It's a lie. I would purchase my furniture from Costco. At least they honor their lifetime warranty.
Rose at Ashley’s Furniture in Oxnard was extremely rude to my Mother. We went shopping for 2 queen beds and a new dining table and towards the end of our visit she yelled at my Mother to go shop at a swap meet since my Mother didn’t like their more affordable beds. My Mom was going to purchase a dining table she has liked and a more expensive bedroom set from Ashley’s Furniture today but rather than being yelled at by Rose (the employee) we decided to leave. We purchased one bed at another store not far from Ashley’s. Same high quality and slightly lower price. The bedroom set we purchase from the other store was the exact same type of style as the “high-quality” beds Rose first showed us. Employees need to have respect for their customers and if they get irritated like Rose did today with my Mom, simply tell the customer “I’m going on break now but if you need more assistance please feel free to find another associate at the front.” SIMPLE!!!!!! SO SIMPLE!!!! Rather than causing a scene and stressing herself out, causing customers to leave the store and taking their money somewhere else. Whoever is reading this, if you’re close to your Mom or Mother figure or whoever raised you, I’m sure if you were to watch them get YELLED AT AND EMBARRASSED you would stand up for your loved one as well. I just hope karma finds little miss Rose (definitely not a Rose type of personality). I’d also like to say that as a business women myself who holds a business degree, this is HORRIBLE business practices and if this store was my store, I wouldn’t need any more complaints for me to be convinced that this “women” AKA Rose needs to be let go. I also mentioned the incident to a man who was standing at the booth in the front of the store. He was kind and respectful and said he was sorry for her behavior and to ignore negative people like her and that I should enjoy my day and she will get what she deserves. Also, if you (Ashley’s Furniture in Oxnard employees) check your cameras in the store, today 7/25/24 at maybe about 7 or 7:30pm, you can see Rose walking away from my parents and I, and turning around to yell at my Mom to go to a swap meet. This scene happened near your adorable bedroom set displays. No hate towards swap meets, but have respect ROSE!
Horrible experience at the Ashley store in Oxnard today!!! “Rose” is not meant to work there. We were treated horribly by her. After fully renovating our house we were hoping to get all new furniture she ended up telling us to go to the swap meet
We bought the leather Texline couch 6 months ago. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND it! It is very uncomfortable. So uncomfortable that my back pain has gotten worse, so I use my old couch now. The couch is too expensive, and it already looks old specially where it is sat on most and we've only had it for 6 months. The color in the store looked nicer than when we got it home because of their lighting. I was very sad to see a big difference when we received it. I wish I would have read the reviews first. I went to talk to them. They did nothing for me. No returns or exchanges. You are better off buying them at Costco or Living Spaces. I just didn't want to drive to Living Spaces because it's too far, but I truly regret it. I gave it a one star. If you want good looking modern couch for a couple of months get it but other than that they are not worth the money. I've never done a review, but I had to say something about this one.
Went in today and was immediatly greeted by Yolanda . I came in with my kids and husband in search of a sectional . She was very patient and went out of her way .
This is less location specific and more relevant to the company as a whole. Avoid at all costs, they are extremely unhelpful. My furniture was delivered damaged it has been a nightmare getting this resolved.
Extended Warranty is useless, save you money
Johnny was great, felt like he really enjoyed knowing what we were interested in and looking for, he was also very well informed of the fabrics and manufacturing methods. All in all the service was above and beyond. Highly recommend.
The salesman, Johnny Alejo, was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I left the store with the furniture I wanted and got a great deal.
The sales person was very helpful, but when the couch was delivered it was found to be defective. Ashley sent out a technician to inspect the couch and he verified several problems, took many pictures and submitted a report. We were told by the tech that we would be contacted by Ashley in a couple of days. I ended up having to call customer service and talked to someone that was very hard to understand. Sounded like they were in India from all the background chatter going on. I was told that everything was OK, he had the report, and someone would call to schedule an exchange. I then received an email asking for a description of the problem, pictures and to submit by return email. I again called customer service and she told me that I must submit pictures, etc. i told her that a report and pictures were submitted by the tech and she kept repeating a demand for pictures and then hung up on me. The shining star in this situation was Audrey at the local Ashley store. I called her and told her about my experiences with customer support and she checked and told me that was wrong and she would handle it. She did, Right away, and the replacement couch arrived in good shape. And, we still got another email demanding pictures! Customer service is horrible, can't understand them, not helpful and rude. We will not deal with Ashley in the future to avoid another nightmare like this.
I am very satisfied with the service provided by Mr. Alejo, he answered all my questions and he was very attentive and kind.
Yolanda was very helpful in making my choice of recliner. Plus delivery will be in 4 days which is perfect for me. I can’t wait to get this comfortable chair home in time for the playoffs.

We had a great experience. Temogen was amazing! I felt bad because we probably walked the whole store like three times. He was so patient with us. He deserves a raise and a bonus!. My girls got their first apartment so he helped with that as well as what we needed for our home. I am already planning another trip. The furniture is great quality too. I walked in to Ashley because I was afraid to buy a couch without being able to see it and sit on it in person. Darla greeted me at the door and showed me all of the couches that fit my needs and wants. I found one that worked well and was on sale, and Darla and I bonded over our mutual love of cats. The buying process and delivery service was flawless- time alone will tell whether the quality of the couch is worth the price.
We were so impressed with ROSE at the Oxnard location. We purchased a sectional electronic recliner set five years ago. Unfortunately our wonderful dog Jax, the mighty German 🖤 Shepherd, who we rescued from the River Bottom chewed them up. Funny 🤣🤣🤣 not funny 😬 We really weren’t in a position to purchase new couches with the current inflation and we told ROSE exactly what we wanted to happen with the 60 month financing, and she made it happen! We are above and beyond happy with the new set of modern couches. Fyne-Dyme Electric Recliner Couches. They are less expensive than the ones we purchased five years ago! My fiancée and I were there at Ashely on Sunday looking to sectionals and a women (name starts with an R ) was working with us to assist us choosing our sectional. She was nice at first but later when we couldn't decided ( alot of nice sectionals) we noticed a frustrated tone on her. We told her that we got rid of our current sofas and was just looking at the moment but she assumed we wanted to buy so she pressed is on buying something we weren't sure, handed us her tablet and wanted us to input information on the tablet and I told her to give us a moment so at the very end we weren't sure what to buy she told us something like, " I believe you can't decided right now " handed us her card and started walking away and approach a gentleman coming our way. When she was walking away, I had a question about delivery, asked and and said 149.99 in a frustrated tone and didn't even say bye or thank you. She was difficult to work with and when we would ask her someone questions, her answers were so confusing about the sectionals which made it difficult to choose. In my lifetime I've gone to ashely a few times, opened a credit card and still never bought from there. In this case, she was there to make a sale and not to help a customer.
My roomate and I bought a couch from Ashley but realized upon delivery that it was too big for our small apartment (couldn’t even make it up the stairwell!) so we sadly returned it. A few weeks later we were back at Ashley and the saleswoman Natascha was so incredibly helpful with getting us set up with the right one! Though the model we went with wasn’t even on display, Natascha used her expert knowledge and experience to suggest it and even pointed to other models on the sales floor to help us get a better understanding of the feel of it. She made all the difference in turning what was initially a disheartening experience into one of joy! Thank you Natascha and thank you Ashley for being so gracious with the whole ordeal. Our living room finally feels complete!

They are the worst company , Because they have bad quality furniture, we bought our bed there and in less than a year it has already sunk in , and they do not want to change it according to them because it does not pass the measures they ask for, we bought our bed base and they delivered it to me broken from a side , we bought our chest and it also broke, we bought our electric sofas and they broke down and according to them that it was the motor and they were going to send mew wires and it has not arrived, the truth is a disgusting company.

Lots of issues with this store, some of which I posted already. I bought an art piece for 139.00. They charged me 100 for delivery. I really wanted this art piece so I sucked it up although the Ashley store was within 10 miles of my home. Wish I had the option to pick up from there. Art piece arrived six weeks later and was the same picture but darker colors...I needed the piece I ordered. If I wanted to return the item I had to waive a refund of the delivery but also pay for the return which was upwards to $35. That is a $135 loss on a painting that was $139. Moral of the story, always view the piece before signing off on it. It was a large print so I did not take it out of the box before I signed for it. BTW, if I exchanged it I would need to pay for delivery and there was no guarantee that it would look like the artwork I ordered. Again, buyer beware.

sales person was not very inexperienced . She might need more training. she process the order without confirming the shipping address. once the order is processed there is no way to change the shipping address so now my order will be ship to wrong address. No computer system should be that rigid that 2min after an order is proceeded, no change can be made. on top of this issue the sales person charge me twice. First she process the order n charge my credit card. Then she said you need to pay again bc it did not go through. I told sale personI saw it went through but. she insisted n charge me 2nd time. Store just confirmed that yes they charge my credit card twice m it will take a week to issue credit. So bad
The truth is always very unpopular, the fact is Ashley's have good people working there in particular Adriana who works in customer service. We had major issues with the wrong chairs and one damaged but they fixed the situation. The picture I posted is a accent chair I bought for 650 dollars and I bought 2 and spent a total of about 8000 there in Oxnard. If you bought a similar looking chair from restoration hardware it's about 4500 a piece. It's not the same experience as going to restoration hardware , however , they are a great value and they probably are on edge because the customers are demanding as I was. I actually feel kind of bad for ripping them apart and in a form of apology and appreciation I am writing this. I hope you all see value in their products and maybe look at more expensive places first. Abraham was also a cool manager. I did this review on my own free will and they did not know I was doing it. We knew exactly what we wanted when we walked in the door. We found this sofa on a different site for less money but it was out of state. The sales mgr was able to match the price to within $150 of the other company. We were happy with that, being it was going to be delivered faster and easier to return or get help if needed, from a local store. We love our new sectional. It’s beautiful and so comfortable. We would definitely shop at Ashely again.

UPDATE: I emailed them and have yet to hear back after they commented to contact them for further assistance. It’s been almost a week I was really hoping dealing with Ashley directly would be easier than the Reguard warranty company. After reading other reviews this seems to be normal for them. I’d never shop here again. We purchased a couch here about a year ago. The fabric started pilling and fraying within a week. We also purchased the extra warranty after our salesman informed us how simple it is to get the couch replaced because of stains or rips. That is not even kind of true at all. We had multiple spills within a week and decided to try and use the warranty. The process took over 20 hours and the resolution we got was a cleaning kit sent to the house. The warranty wasn’t cheap , the process isn’t easy and eventually you don’t get anything out of it. I liked who we dealt with at the store but am ultimately extremely disappointed in the quality of the couch and the pressure to buy a warranty for hundred of dollars that got us absolutely nowhere. My husband and I were helped by a wonderful salesperson named Rose at the Oxnard store. She so graciously saved every piece of furniture we chose the previous week on her store tablet. Rechecked to make sure we were happy which we were. She helped us every step of the way . We love the quality and beauty of the furniture. We're sure our new home will look fabulous. Very nice experience. It took us forever to decide and we are thrilled with what we chose. We needed space and asked the helpful employees to please not stay with us and let us browse on our own. They were very respectful of that and, for us, that made the experience pleasant. Mark and Julian worked together to make sure our purchase was done in a timely and efficient manner (no competition over commission or us having to wait).

I purchased the Maggie sofa with the wonderful sales associate Natascha. I first saw the sofa on the Website but I was sick COVID. I called and Natascha helped me on the phone giving me the details I needed. As soon as I got well I met with Natascha where I saw the sofa in person and bought it that day as well as the ottoman and a bed for my guest room. The whole process was quick and professional. Natascha knows the products she sells and made the sale easy and fast.
I bought 2 mattress with the adjustable base..I spent over 6,500.00.My 1st night sleep was awful I called to explain the bed was to hard.I was told no refunds or Exchanges.I was not told that at the time of purchase..They gave me 350.00 in 50.00 gift cards. I was not told I can only use 1 50.00 card at a time. I found something on there clearance.when I went to use my 50.00 I was told it's not good on clearance items, but they would take 50.00 off the original price and I can pay the difference..I was told that they are not going to be tanking my gift cards and i should use them up..Not a good experience at all. I will never shop at an Ashley's store nor recommend it to anyone.

Salesmen are a joke, we had a older gentlemen with name starting with T. Soon as my son said he would like a cheaper mattress he got very rude and upset. Was absolutely uncalled for. I had to walk out before my anger kicked in. No reason for thus. 24 year old kid just moved here in Navy and starting new and gets this, all over a mattress, not OK.

My fiancé and I visited the Oxnard Ashley store to begin to build our home together. The sales associate stared at her iPad most of our visit, and when it came time to check out, there were four items on the sales receipt that we did not discuss nor did she share with me. Undoing all of this was very stressful and had to include the Sales Manager. She yelled at my fiancé and complain loudly to other sales associates in our presence. I will never go back to that store.

Absolute worst experience ever. My gf got approved for a credit card through Ashley's, we used it to purchase a couch and make monthly payments. - We also got approved for a credit card together, as a joint account but chose not to use it. 2 months later that joint credit line gets charged for $800 for something that Ashley's or the credit company can't figure out - what was purchased, who purchased it, where it was getting shipped too or how they got our credit card numbers. WE NEVER EVEN HAD A PHYSICAL CARD FOR EITHER ACCOUNTS. Talk about money laundering. Long story short, the credit company approves the fraud and replaces the $800 on the joint credit line. 2 months later it happens AGAIN. But this time Ashley's decided to charge $700 of the couch we bought on her credit line - on the joint account ?? Without any type of approval ?? We got approved for $100 a month payments on my gfs credit card with Ashley's, and out of nowhere Ashley's charges a totally separate credit card for a couch that's on only her credit card/line. And they refuse to reimburse it and continue with the orignal agreement on payments for the couch. Do not purchase furniture from here or apply for the credit cards.
I went in to buy a mattress and was able to do that just fine and effortlessly with the help of one of their employees Julian C. He helped both my mom and me and was very kind and generous. He was also very patient with all of our questions and concerns. He was able to recommend amazing products. We couldn't have asked for a better employee to have helped us out. Will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family and will be having them ask for Julian. :)

My wife and I have been looking for a sectional for a long time and Ashley helped us find the perfect one for a really good price. However, I don't think we could find one especially without Julian's eagerness to help and professional attitude. He spent his entire day showing us our options and customizing the sectionals according to our needs. I'd like to apologize as we were not being the easiest customers to help. But again his being polite and patient against our never ending wishes got us through the process and we had the couch of our dreams. Thank you Julian!

Stay clear of this location for your furniture needs!! My wife and I bought some couches recently and set a delivery date for a week later. Everything seemed fine, or so we thought... December 2nd delivery date comes and no couches. We even confirmed with them since they reached out to us the day prior to the delivery. We ended up calling the delivery line and apparently they rescheduled delivery for two weeks later without notifying the buyers. We were told a "manager" would be calling us back but but never received that call. So we made our way to Ashley's in Oxnard to see what can be done and where the mix up occurred. All the manager told us that the couches are back ordered for over a month.. which is ridiculous as we got rid of our old couches prior to the set up delivery date. The manager even admitted that the new delivery date they tried reschedule us would not have worked since they still wouldn't have the couches on time. Something has to give, either get rid of the 3rd party delivery or make some changes with their inventory control. Zero help from them so we decided to cancel the order and get a refund. As a frequent customer, I will no longer be using them for my furniture needs.

Haven't received sofa we purchased. Delivery delayed after email confirmation that it would be delivered. We were promised that someone would check in with us daily which they haven't. Possible new delivery date given but after Thanksgiving, when we really needed the sofa
Stay Away I had them come back to clean off the dirty hand prints plus to reinforce and realign springs where cushion sits but the guy can only do so much Still sinks in when sitting down The displays you see at the store are perfectly made but is not what you get delivered I will never come back

SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!!!! Do not shop here!!!! I promise you. Our couches were scheduled for delivery for a Friday. I confirmed the message with Ashley's to receive them Friday between 11:30-3:30. So I get rid of my old couches Thursday night. Guess what! They do not show up Friday! I call customer service and extremely rude. They say I NEVER confirmed my delivery and to call the store I purchased my couches from. I call our sales guy tell him everything. While on the phone he is talking to another Ashley's employee a female and she is ghetto and rude. Telling him I don't care if she confirmed with a text message that doesn't mean anything. I send him the screen shot so he can show her. Still doesn't care. Earliest they can do is that following Thursday. So I go a whole week without furniture. They try to tell me that the couches were actually damaged and that they realized that once they were coming to our house?? So the delivery is set for Thursday between 8:30-12:30. They don't get there until 2:00. And only have 1 couch! Now the other 2 are on back order (one of them I knew was going to be alittle late). Couches are finally here. Talked to numerous people once this was happening and all similar stories. This is honestly just a friendly heads up. Save the time, money, and energy.

She specifically told the saleswoman, Patricia, that she wanted a bed where the ladder wasn't blocked by the top bunk railing. They completed the transaction, and scheduled delivery and assembly. Once assembly was complete, my mom discovered that the ladder was blocked by the railing, making it unsafe for small children due to having to climb over the railing. Patricia ordered the wrong bed. My mother called the Oxnard CA store and spoke with the manager Abraham who basically blamed my BLIND mother for leaving the store with the receipt that listed the wrong bed, because she "should have caught the error". He also informed her that the sale is final. He didn't even take into account that because she's blind, she can't see the receipt, and has to trust the salesperson to do their job. My mother then called the corporate office and was passed around, no names were given. The line auto disconnected after 23 minutes of trying to get to the right person to help. To add insult to injury, Patricia charged my mother $149.99 extra for a 5 year furniture warranty, which my mother never wanted, wasn't asked if she wanted and she never would have approved. Patrica took it upon herself to add this unnecessary, expensive warranty all on her own to my mother's order. My elderly (80yo), blind mother was taken advantage by this saleswoman, and the store/company. I had a great experience with an Ashley's store in LA, so I referred my mother to Ashley's. Walked in and was greeted by Jessie who asked what I was looking for. When I told him I was shopping for floor lamps, he directed me to Lamps Plus in Ventura, a completely different store. I asked him if I could at least look around first and he told me "If you don't buy anything, I don't get commission".The whole experience left me feeling very uncomfortable. I found some lamps I did actually like but due to Jessie's attitude, I did not purchase anything. I will not come here again.

The quality of their furniture is so bad now, they should be embarrassed. Even though I paid $1,600 for this very poorly made couch, I can't wait to throw it in the garage and buy something of actual quality. From another store, of course. This last purchase I did with Ashley furniture will most definitely be my last. Go elsewhere!
Horrible experience Purchased 2 electric massage beds w expensive mattress 10.000 dollars bed frames started to make lots of noise. We talk with the manager Abraham, He was very rude give us the cold shoulder even, after we had bought extended warranty , we are going in 2 months now and they don't want to exchange the bed frames we know they are defected Never expected to be Rob and treated in this manner from them! One of the workers that works on saturdays was extremely rude, she right away assumed we were poor and saying stuff to my dad. My mom asked for a circular table and the lady said that those are too expensive. We don't need those kinds of replies.

Highly recommend! We found a sofa that we liked online, called in advance, and visited to test it out in person. The sofa was high quality, comfortable, and aesthetically up to our standards. We ended up purchasing a matching ottoman and chair set, and we went with the delivery option. We have a small living room and weren’t sure if everything would fit, but their delivery policy allowed us the option to have everything delivered and assembled in our space and return if we weren’t happy, so we feel great about the flexibility. Johnny T. was super helpful, friendly, and easy to work with. He gave my partner and I space to talk when we needed it and was very attentive to our needs. Thanks so much!

Mark was amazing and helped us find exactly what we wanted, he knows the answers to every question we had and more. We shopped around all day at other stores and Ashley in Oxnard had the best deals and over all prices and the most selection. We ended up purchasing more furniture than we went in there for and still ended up spending less than we had anticipated. Highly recommend!
I’ve been to this store twice in a year span and was unfortunately met with the same salesman both times. The first time he followed us around, super creepy, though we told him we were just browsing. The second time he was super rude and provided unsolicited information on furniture we were sitting on though we told him numerous times that we weren’t needing any help.
I have bought several pieces of furniture from Ashley and I love their products and how well the hold up over time. We had a great experience as well at this store.
My wife, Donna, went to the shley store in Oxnard on Monday. Art barron opened the store promptly at 10AM and welcomed her in. He helped her put together a dynamite living room set and made the shopping experience pure pleasure. He even arranged delivery for two days later! Art is a terrific representative for Ashley Furniture!
We just spent the last hour as a family shopping for a couch and a mattress at Ashley. Mark Chavez, our salesperson was exceptionally thorough and helpful during our search and we will be back in the future. Our visit was so calm and comfortable that our teenage son fell fast asleep on a very comfy bed haha! I'd say he liked it! Thanks Mark!
I have bought furniture from Ashley in the past and it was good, the people cared, etc. That seems to be a thing of the past. I had bought a bed for my elderly step father and he decided he didn't like it because it was too high for him. I called Ashley in Oxnard. It took several calls before they would even pick up. They told me there were no returns & were totally rude. I can understand if their policy is no returns, but the attitude is just too much to take. I won't be shopping at Ashley again. My guess is they are probably on their last legs anyway. No big loss
I needed a bedroom dresser and nightstand that was affordable and would match my existing bed and headboard. Natascha Perez helped me with different options that provided good storage options and did this while people with quite a few customers. It was a busy day and she did this without showing any stress as other customers were asking lots of questions. She demonstrated patience and customer service.
Ordering from the Ashley store in Oxnard today was super easy. One phone call and it was all done in no time. Thank you Temogen for the delivery date I asked for. Can’t wait to get more stuff there in the future.
I bought a very soft couch (love seat) and ottoman, wall hangings, end table etc. . . Darla was my sales lady and she was the best. My whole experience was terrific. Thank you Darla for being patience while I sat on every couch there!! The love seat fits perfect in my studio and looks awesome!! ❤️

My wife and I were greeted by a salesman named MD as we entered the store. He was friendly, informative, and was very low key. He showed us where to look for what we inquired about and checked with us every five minutes. I like low pressure salespeople. Also the selection in this particular store was amazing. It came down to choice anxiety, which is a good thing for us. And we are very happy with our purchase.
The store is just amazing. Good staff. But delivery is terrible. Today was supposed to receive furniture (sofa, bed and mattress). Delivery was scheduled from 11:15 to 15:15. Today at 10:30 a man came and said that he was a furniture assembler and wanted to assemble furniture for us. To which he was told that the furniture had not yet been delivered to us, and there was nothing to collect yet. He said ok, I have to call the office. And left. we did not wait for the delivery. As it turned out, he brought the furniture and had to bring it in, but he did not say this, but put us on the cancellation of the order. This is fine? When we did not wait for our delivery, my husband returned to the store, to which they said that they would bring the furniture on Thursday. Why, then, today we were waiting for her, if the delivery man of the furniture he brought did not tell us about it, that he brought the furniture? I am extremely dissatisfied with this situation. I still hope that we will receive our furniture on Thursday.
I had purchased this sectional from Ashley and so impressed to find something modern, great quality, affordable, and quick delivery! This was all because of Natascha Perez who was patiently waiting for me to decide. She also offered some nice end tables and coffee tables that looked great with the sectional. The chair and couch I bought less than a year ago has had the cushion replaced and the issue recurred. I then had to wait for another tech to come look at the problem (again). He suggested replacing the defective items. It's been almost 6 weeks since he came, and they haven't sent a replacement cushion nor contacted me once. I have called SEVERAL times and been told they already sent a cushion, or they'd create a service order, and each time I call back because there's nocommunication from them, I'm told they didn't file it correctly and to call back. So yesterday I called and asked to escalate the issue because it seems like they're just trying to wait or my warranty, and they put me on hold for over 30 minutes just to come back on the line and say the escalation department is closed 30 minutes before and I needed to call back tomorrow. I just called in and the lady told me that I had to wait on hold for 2 or more hours for the evaluation department (except that would put them past the "closing time" I was told yesterday) and I said I can't hold for HOURS, so she said I could get a call back in about 2-3 hours but I had better not miss the call. I asked if there was a way I could actually speak with some one, and she said I could speak with the store manager. So she put me on hold, came back a few minutes later and told me to hold so she could transfer me. She transferred me to the store, where a quite snarky lady said she already told the other lady the manager is on vacation and no one could help me. She also said the escalation department take 3-4 DAYS to get back to you and will email with a resolution IF they have one. I said, and if they don't have a resolution? And she said basically don't know/ don't care. But THEY can't help because they're "just a show room". I reiterated I've been trying to resolve this for over a month and a half, and she said if it's been more than a year since I bought the furniture, they won't do anything at all. It's been less than a year, but if it takes me MONTHS to contact someone capable of helping with issues, that's completely ludicrous. Whatever happened to customer service, customer support, basic fricking respect for others? Seriiusly. If you don't want to stand behind your product or you don't want to offer decent products, why are you even in business? Just let me get furniture from someone who cares about the service and product they provide. This is so much time and energy I've wasted trying to resolve something. So many damn liars at the store, and rude to boot.

If I could give them 0 starts I would. I bought a couch there 2 years ago and bought the life time / accidental warranty. The couch material is so cheap, the top cushions are already lumpy and falling down and the seat cushions are so cheap and horrible. I just got off the phone with the warranty place and it was horrible and long story short they said my accidental damages weren’t covered. I spent Hundreds of dollars for the “ life time warranty “ and it was A SCAM!!!!

Ashley’s sent multiple texts confirming delivery of my loveseat (including the night before), so I made arrangements to be home for their 9a-1p delivery window. Loveseat never came. Customer service had no explanation for lack of delivery and said the earliest they could reschedule was 6 days later. Was told the delivery confirmations were just from Ashley’s automated system and were not actual confirmations of delivery. Was promised a call back from a supervisor within the hour and never received one. Went to store to speak to someone in person. Manager offered me free delivery. Told him to use the $100 to pay overtime if necessary to have my delivery completed by the next day. He said he has no control over the deliveries. Since Ashley deliveries can’t be trusted, I canceled my order and will be making all future furniture purchases elsewhere.

I bought couch last month and complained that same day how it was delivered. There were many issues to begin one, one started with the delivery people who rushed it and over drilled the feet and made it crooked. I have videos of everything of how it was drilled and staples coming out. They sent out a tech a few days later and he didn't do anything but took pictures and he said Ashely were supposed to get back to me. Nobody reached out for weeks until I kept complaining. Also sales person Julian said the covers were washable which is wasn't and a few days ago when we spoke he said it was a misunderstanding on my part. The couch gave me rashes and all they want to do is an even exchange.After having the couch for a a few weeks, it started having a strong chemical smell. They sent out a tech and he smelled it the moment he came to our house. Nothing was done after that, they are giving me the run around between corporate and store. Do not buy from Ashley.

It took several phone calls, 3 tech visits, and 9 months of e-mail communications before the issue was finely resolved.

Next day the delivery team calls saying couches won’t be delivered for another month. I called back to the customer service and there was no supervisor available. Ended up cancelling the order and going somewhere else. Don’t waste your time with this mediocre service.

If I could personally stand outside this store and warn people not to shop here, so they don't experience the same treatment I've received over the past year and half, I would. I spent over $4000 on a King frame, 2 dressers and 2 nightstands. A few months later, the bed frame broke. I called the store, they put in a repair order and a month later it was fixed. At the end of July this year, the bed frame broke again, on the same side. I noticed that the frame isn't very sturdy, the workmanship is poor and so is the design. After calling and speaking with Anel, she informed me that I had to submit photos of the damage. I received an email from customer service asking for the photos. A couple of weeks later I called the Oxnard store and Anel said they didn't receive my photos. On Aug 22nd, I attached the photos and sent them. A week later I called the Oxnard store, spoke with Anel again, she again told me they didn't receive my photos. I find this REALLY hard to believe. I asked to speak with a manager. Anel told me that Abraham and Able are the store managers, but they were too busy to speak with me. I insisted that someone call me back and explained to Anel that day, that I'm sleeping on my couch and this has gone on far too long. To date, I have not yet received a call from any manager of the Oxnard store. I have called the store and asked for a manager to call me back, 14 times. 14 times Anel has told me that a manager was NOT available. I requested to be placed on hold, she refused, stating they only have 1 line in the store and she couldn't keep me on hold for that long. I have called Ashley customer service 7 times, and all 7 times I'm told I had to deal with the store directly. I've made a complaint to the BBB, I'm getting ready to make a complaint to the FTC, and I've retained an attorney to file suit, as Ashely is in breech of contract. In all my life, I've never dealt with a corporation that allows their store to treat customers this way. It's absolutely disgraceful and I don't know how they're allowed to maintain this poor level of customer service. Avoid purchasing ANYTHING from Ashley if you can possibly help it. Unreal I have to go to these lengths just to have my broken bed replaced.
Another update! - 8-22-23: I ran into issue with the item that I purchased. the Ashley Oxnard store team is ON POINT once again! Words cannot express how grateful I am for the support of Adriana and Lacey Olive - two of the most amazing and personable team members who I can possibly ever meet! Abraham was able to step in as well and I'm telling you - these guys will take such good care of you. It's not even funny! I was so appreciative that I purchased the two ladies gift cards for their hard work. I'm telling you... even though my purchase didn't work out - I still recommend for you to check this place out. They will treat you INCREDIBLY WELL over there! I kid you not - they are so on fire! Keep up the great work you guys. Seriously - thank for you for your hard work, dedication and your loyalty to your customer! Truly - all of you should be promoted with extra pay and lots and lots of perks! Much love and gratitude each of you for all of the hard work that you have done for me! 5-08-23- I was running into some issues with my replacement couch and once again, the Ashley Oxnard store is ON POINT! Adrianna was incredible with making sure that I had my delivery replaced (with much personality and understanding). Abel and Lacey Olive were super awesome as well! Words cannot how appreciative that I have of this incredible team. I hope that their managers are reading this because seriously... these guys are incredible! I hope they all get pay bumps soon because they really are a stellar team! Thanks again you guys and keep up the great work! -- These guys are on point! The store is personable, helpful and the staff is definitely there to help you. I have worked with Mark Horowitz, Marylou and a few others who really took great care in helping me with my selection. This place is a joke, very unorganized and unknowledgeable staff. We spent $8 k in furniture frame them . They said that they have all in stock , but when they delivered we were missing half of the stuff and the furnitures were either damaged or dirty. Avoid this place if you can
Buyer Beware!The worst customer service I have dealt with in years.Do not trust them on anything! If you want to test them for yourself, try calling the store or customer care before shopping with them. Good luck getting a person on the line and even if you do, they will not be able to help you with anything.I recently bought a bedroom set from the Palmdale location. I made sure the items were in stock, agreed upon a delivery date, and paid. They began calling to reschedule delivery, to ultimately be told they do not know when the items will be in stock or be delivered.I spent over an hour on hold with customer care just to be told they cannot help and that I needed to call the store directly. I called the store directly just to be rerouted back to customer care. I called the store again just to listen to their machine operated answering service, hoping to get anyone to help. The woman I spoke to a half hour later with, said she could not refund the items until they were delivered back to the warehouse which they also cannot provide an estimated time for.
MD was a very helpful associate, knowledgeable about the layout of the layout and the stock of the store and conscious of our needs. My only concern is we would have liked to wander the store on our own for a bit first and get a feeling for what is there with a little less social pressure. I understand the nature of showroom sales doesn't work well with that but that's our only criticism.
Are all these negative review about the Oxnard store? WOW I am certainly not alone in how disgusted I am with the total experience I had a couple of years ago. I am only writing this now because I just closed my account permantly and it stirred it all up again. I have only ever made the one purchase I am talking about here. I was NOT told that I would be unable to return the overpriced chair I purchased when I purchased it. Like in other reviews, the delivery was lightning fast (once they finally arrived), placing the chair in my living room and leaving before I was even able to sit on it. So the reclining mechanism did not stay when fully reclined, the padding was absolutely substandard. I paid specific attention to the arm padding in the store. The chair on display had plenty of padding on the arms.. The chair that was delivered was so poorly padded that when I lost my balance and fell against it once hitting my forearm against the arm, I actually hit hard wood and had a huge bruise on my forarm as a result. Kinda like getting bruised laying on your bed right? When I called customer service within a day of delivery I got absolutely nowhere. I then went into the store and was told by their unitied front behind the counter that I had to refuse delivery at the time of delivery in order to return the chair, there was no other way I could return it. Bottom line, horrible customer service and even though all looks and feels lke quality furniture IN THE STORE, just wait until you get it, I suggest blocking the delivery van to keep them there until you inspect your furniture if you dare to give it a chance. I wanted to dump the chair in their parking lot but I settled for the county dump instead where it will certainly feel more at home with the rest of Ashley furniture that has been sent there. NEVER EVER AGAIN and their credit card? Little pieces flushed down the toilet to swim in waste where it belongs.

Absolutely worst shopping experience ever. I’m not one to typically post negative reviews unless I think it’s merited. If I have a poor experience I usually will not review at all, but this was very bad and unethical. I needed a replacement cushion cover for my Ashley sofa I purchased three years ago out of the region. Staff would not assist me since I wasn’t buying something new and referred me to their customer service. Customer service wouldn’t even look at me while talking “at” me. She said since I didn’t buy from their store that she would not help me. I was floored. It wasn’t that she couldn’t, she wouldn’t. On top of that, she was dismissive and incredibly rude. I will NEVER shop at this store or Ashley furniture ever again.
the WORST customer service. over the phone and through their email. things came broken and it took MONTHS for someone to even respond, and even when they responded they did nothing about it. overpriced furniture for terrible quality.
Terrible customer service and website. Ordered a mattress it gave me 6/1 as delivery then email said 5/28 which is when I ordered it now customer service says they put a stop on it . Now delivery date 6/16 and to pick up old mattress I need to wrap in plastic . It does not say that on line .
The woman Stephanie was very judge mental as soon as me and my boyfriend walked in- he noticed first before I did that she was looking me up from head to toe and couldn’t stop looking at my chest tattoo. I felt very uncomfortable in the store. This was my first time experience and I won’t be going back. Over priced- go to BOB’S

Please don’t waste your money here . These people all they do is ripped people off . They sell warranty for furniture but when you submit a claim for the furniture they always deny the claims 100% of the time . I repeat ; do not waste your money here .
This is the largest Ashley store we have ever been to. Fantastic selection of almost everything with very knowledgeable and helpful sales consultants. Sales person was very helpful in securing the best price possible. This is are go to store for furnishing our new home.

Felt like chum in the water from the time I walked through the doors. 10 salespeople for every customer. Obviously all on commission. Couldn't get out of there fast enough. I understand it's their job, but it makes for an unpleasant environment to shop in.
I’ve ordered from Ashley’s furniture before and this time around I have to say it was a nightmare. I ordered my furniture in November and literally received everything one by one month after month. I received my dinning set with one chair missing and still don’t have it . I called customer care and they were no help. I went to the Ashley store and the manager was sitting in the back wouldn’t make eye contact and I when I was getting ready to leave he’s like talking to to representative that was assisting me and wouldn’t even make contact with me like I was invisible. My husband said let’s leave . I got my case numbers for them to review and let me know if my dinning set can be returned . I dropped of at mirror set with also came in pieces. The employees were very nice but the lady that was helping us was no help , she was terrible with customer service. Basically acting like it’s not a big deal . It’s been 5 months and I still haven’t gotten my full dinning table set .

If i could give this a zero i wish i can. I have 4 months with a broken bed frame and so far they keep telling me to wait for the parts. They are well aware of this situation, calling so much i lost count. DONT buy the extended warranty, even tho my broke frame was a accident they didn’t want to bother helping me out. They said it was a manufacturer warranty, so far i bought this bed frame in april and i feel they are waiting for my warranty to run out so they wont help me out. I bought all this because I thought ashely will be amazing but you’re better off with your local furniture places than this junk. Expensive for things that didn’t last for a year. Im paying $1900 for a bed frame and a cabinet. Both witch are broken, this place will never get a penny from this point. Waist of time and fake a** customer support.

Project: Furnishing Guest Bedroom. We purchased all items necessary from Ashley. Our sales associate Rosealia was great! She was knowledgeable, a master of matching and coordinating colors and style. She gave freely of her time and no pressure. We could not have been happier with our experience. I would be remiss if I did not give a shout out to the delivery crew. They were punctual, took great care not to damage our purchase and home. And let no mess behind.

We drove an hour and 45 minutes on Black Friday to get to Ashley’s as the Oxnard store was the closest to our home. We had just moved and needed a living room set. Everything was supposedly 55% off so we thought we were getting a deal. Brenden helped us in store and seemed nice. However, after purchasing more and more red flags kept popping up. He told us that delivery of the coffee table and couch was included in the price. Upon looking at the receipt we realized that it was a separate $120 charge that he did not inform us about. On top of that there was an $80 assembly charge for both pieces of furniture which we did not approve. Knowing that we would rather have it delivered and assembled we let that slide. We were also told the couch would be delivered in a week and we would get the table on January 6th (he told us this date was firm not estimated because everything we wanted was in stock). The couch came without issue other than they did NOT show up in the time frame we selected. Luckily we made it work. Fast forward to the week before January 6th, we contact customer service to confirm the delivery of the table as we had not heard anything. We are now told the table is back ordered and won’t be available until the last week of February. I decided to get online to see if we could see any sort of tracking in our account and there was not even a history of purchase. Upon looking up the table I noticed that it was listed as the full price being less than what we paid on the 55% off sale. I then looked for the couch and same thing. Not only that but both are listed as in stock and if ordered now can be delivered in a week. Over the next week we are told 6 different delivery dates ranging from January 31st to March 7th. Finally we decide to call the store. Upon asking about the price difference from online. They tell us they have to inflate the price to cover their high rent prices in California… they also said it’s listed as in stock online because the online products ship from a different warehouse. and then we were told that the table is in fact back ordered and quoted a different delivery date then the first 6. We decide to wait for the delivery date the store quoted us. That day is a couple days from now. We called the store last week and they are now saying our table is “stuck on a boat somewhere and there’s nothing they can do about it.” Then we were told “we would get it in April or May if we were lucky.” We asked for a full refund which they said they could do but have not received any money back yet. On top of that they will only refund the table price but not the price we paid for assembly and delivery for it. We ended up ordering the same exact table on wayfair for full price which was the same as Ashley’s claimed “great 55% off Black Friday sale.” It has already shipped and will to be delivered in 5 days. After wasting countless hours on the phone with support, and dealing with rude customer service and failed promises, I will NEVER shop at Ashley’s again. You are horrible.

Was looking for a chair and a half with ottoman, but due to door width constraints had to go with a recliner, as the back can be taken off to fit through a door. The salesman and manager were very patient with me and helped me find the perfect oversized power recliner, so my dog and I can relax in style. We can't wait for it to be delivered! He is quite happy with our choice. Installation was quick and installers placed it where we wanted. They also demonstrated how the chair worked so we all could figure it out. Ultimately a great experience!
Vast showroom of today's furniture styles. I found the quality good overall considering that today's furniture generally is not wood, thanks to decades of clear cutting, but is primarily engineered wood / particle board. Kudos to their display designers, who have filled the store with inviting, appealing scenes. I was looking for inspiration rather than specific pieces, yet I did find a power recliner I might have taken home. However only one of three controls worked when I sat in the model, so I couldn't really assess it. Disappointing. I hope by now the store has corrected that oversight. I live far away but shopping here is worth the drive.

Kristine was great right from the get go. We told her we were just looking and a little later she caught up with us to show us some other models of couches we had been checking out. We ended finding one we really loved all thanks to her. The store was clean and everyone was very friendly.
They stole $600 from me. They ran my card 3 times instead of just checking. Their system is slow and they took $900 right away instead of just the $300 they should have. It’s not like I need the money to pay bills and buy groceries. Then they promised they would have the money back in my account by the same time tomorrow. Which was unacceptable in the first place because I need the money NOW. Well it’s past the time and I got declined at the grocery store, why? Because Ashley still hasn’t give me my money back. I called again and they said it was going to take 3-5 business days. Seriously? They didn’t even offer anything to accommodate me in the situation. They don’t care.
Salesperson Yolanda Campos at the Oxnard, California location was really pushy and unfriendly. We saw some great deals and sadly my wife and I wish we were helped by another salesperson. The other sales people seemed to have better people skills.
5-star review for our salesperson, Brannen Greene. Mr. Greene was knowledgeable, personable, and professional. Rather than try to sell us something, he listened to us and was very helpful in directing us to just what we had in mind. He saw to every detail and answered every question. The next time we are shopping for furniture, we will return to this store and ask for Mr. Greene.

Our sales rep Linda was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, not to mention patient with a big smile as we made decisions on a large purchase for our home. Best furniture shopping ever! The website wouldn’t let me place my order so I went to the store. Was immediately greeted by several workers and Johnny is whom I chose to speak with. I told him why I was there, that I knew what I wanted and simply needed to order it. He knew the style I was talking about and took me to look at it in person. Was super nice, helpful and friendly to my daughter and I. Went over everything, and we got her bedroom set: bed, dresser with mirror and night stand. So perfect for my nine year old. Lol. Abel came over to help price match (got a great deal) and helped us find my daughter when she wandered off. Lol. The whole process took about 45 min. Great experience! Will be going back to get two chairs and a a lamp very soon. Love love love Ashley furniture! Thank you so much!!
It's really upsetting that I have to give a bad review, but I feel others should be aware of problems they may encounter when buying from Ashely. My husband and I purchased an entire bedroom set that cost us over $4000. We were told our bedframe has to come separately and would arrive in a few weeks after our purchase. 6 weeks later they came to deliver our bed and the delivery guys said they sent me 2 headboards and there was no footboard or side rails. I spoke to a manager who said the remaining pieces would be delivered the following Saturday, ok fine. Here it is 8 weeks later and I'm STILL getting the run around about the rest of the bed. It's also nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of anyone in the store or speak to a manager or have one return a phone call. I'm on hold for 30 minutes at a time and their online chat is even a longer wait. Today I received an email saying I can re-schedule for a quicker delivery and when I click the email, there's no way to schedule a sooner delivery. What??? This is no way for a company like this to conduct business. It's absolutely ridiculous. There's no other way to put it. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and contacting the FTC and my credit card company if this doesn't get resolved quickly. NO customer who spends this amount of money should be subjected to this kind of run around from a large company such as this.
If not for the help of Mr. Voss, our sales person, I would have walked out with no purchase. He showed us what we described and we purchased a very nice sofa and loveseat. Due for delivery on Tuesday 9/28.

Poor customer experience. Access to customer service takes an unacceptable time frame. I was on hold for a half hour, then 50 minutes. I was disconnected. Agents themselves have been kind, but company policies are poor. I have paid for my items, that require assembly, so essentially now I will have waited nearly a month for the company to ship a box from their shelf. No ability to redirect the shipment for ability to receive it. Rather, I can cancel and restart the clock so maybe it will arrive before year's end.
Warning: say away from this furniture store if you are still interested in customer service. It's on short supply in the Oxnard Ashley store. And if they tell you they're planning to call you? Ha! Fat chance. The lack of customer care runs all the way through to the store management. They'll happily let a customer sit in the dark.
I found what I was looking for but decided to look further. I ultimately ordered on the phone and the order was taken care of easily.
After waiting for my furniture for 7 months and ENDLESS complications, I called to check in on the status of my tables. They canceled the order without notifying me. I could go on forever on just how terrible my experience was, but I won't. Just save yourself the damn headache and steer clear of this place.
So I got a TV stand with a heater here with a 5 year warranty on both of them. The guy that works there told me that the warranty was going to cover EVERYTHING. So pretty much the 2nd week the electric cord ended up getting burnt. I called the warranty company and told me that the warranty doesn't cover anything electrical and they can't fix it. So I went to Ashley's Furniture to talk to the manager there and see what they could do for me and they also said that the warranty doesn't cover that problem. That they would sell me another heater but half price, like why would I buy another one. What if the same issue happens again? I even hired an electrician and he checked all my outlets and told me everything was good. He even told me that the electric cord might have been the problem. NEVER AGAIN am I buying stuff from that store again. I was also going to buy couches that same day too.
Bad Quality and The worst service. DONT buy from Ashley's. I ordered a Sofa and Love seat and NAILS were coming out of the back panel. I called immediately after deliver, was put on hold for 30 minutes and then promised an exchange within 48 Hours. They emailed me a confirmation but NOW it is 8 DAYS AFTER they PROMISED replacement, and since have not followed up. Do yourself a favor, dont buy from these clowns.
So disappointed with the customer service here. I placed an order in mid April for a mattress and a living room set that included a set of tables. When the furniture was delivered the tables were left out. When I called back they said they had forgotten to include the tables on the order and that the tables were on call and it could take ten to twelve weeks to be delivered. Twelve weeks later I call and find out that they somehow neglected to place the order for a second time. Unbelievable. At this point I just want my money back for the value of the tables but of course that's not an option. So I place the order for a third time and Adriana tells me that they should be delivered by 9/2/21 (almost five months after my original purchase). Well, I called again today and they're not able to find the order. This is insanity. It was a good deal but this is ridiculous and not worth dealing with. Also, when I made the original purchase it was a deal where you get a free living room set with a purchase of a tempurpedic mattress. When the salesperson rings me up she has it at 60% off rather than 100% off even though I checked with her multiple times before and she assured me that it would be 100% off. They ended up giving me the deal but I had to fight for it. And now here I am almost five months later still waiting for my tables.

This was definitely one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. I never write a review but I feel like I should hopefully save anyone else who is thinking this is a good option for ordering furniture. I ordered a mattress bundle for my mother - who is elderly and lives in an assisted living apartment - I am as I write this on hold for the fourth time now. I have had ro call three different numbers and one of the agents and supervisors as she was transferring me (the third transfer at this point on the second call) hung up and promptly forwarded me to provide a phone review. She had my order number and phone and didn't bother to call back to connect me to someone who can help. DO NOT ORDER any bundles from Ashley. There is fine print you need to be aware of and honestly after all is said and done, should you have a problem you won't get a solution and instead will be left with more headaches. My mother's bundled mattress and platform bed was delivered without a foundation. There was no note on the delivery or anyone on the calls I had who even mentioned this was required. The agent I spoke to the first time, took all of five minutes to read through all the tabs on the actual sales page before she discovered a foundation and boxspring was indeed needed. Now my mother is in her new apartment with no bed , just a mattress and a frame. I live two hours away from her and had paid over 100$ to have the team build it all for her so she wouldn't worry. The delivery tech was the one who informed me that she didn't have a foundation, said there was nothing they could do except take the bed back, and left it all there. I am still waiting to see if ANYONE at this supposed superstore will even come to the phone. I have called the actual store - and no answer. Fascinating these guys are still getting away with such horrific service. Better to go to Ikea, spend two hours in their warehouse and pay someone (or spend the time) building your purchase. You will get better service at a lower price. Or save some money and go for another company that is not warehouse based like Ashley. Still on hold by the way, I had to call back because the line was disconnected again.
We recently purchased a new mattress and an accent chair at Ashley’s Oxnard store. We were assisted by Chandler who was a pleasure to work with. He had a wealth of knowledge about mattresses and extremely helpful. We felt absolutely no pressure to purchase. He and his manager Abel were wonderful about offering us the best prices they were able to offer. We were even more pleasantly surprised when we were offered delivery in 2 days! Just prior to our delivery time I noticed an even lower on line price for the accent chair than what we had paid. I called Chandler to see if there was anything he could do. He called back within 30 minutes to tell me they would credit back the $125 difference! That’s what I call great service. With regard to our delivery: We were given a 4 hour window the day before. Then could track to a 1 hour window. Our furniture arrived within 10 minutes of the hour! The delivery men were also great. They were efficient and very courteous. All in all this entire purchase could have not gone better. Unless of course our mattress and chair were free. Thank you Chandler, Abel and delivery gentlemen It was a pleasure working with you
Bought expensive couches at Ashley’s 4 weeks later got flyer with Labor Day sale with the couches I purchased on sale for $600 less than what I paid, store would not do price match and said “Once it’s delivered that’s it your not able to return anything “ basically all SALES are FINAL you only are able to RETURN furniture if it hasn’t been delivered and you ONLY have 72 hrs. To call them if something is damaged upon arrival. So ask questions!!!

I'm posting a review because of how hesitant I was to purchase from Ashley's due to the ones I read. Linda, our customer service person, really made the search for a couch easy and fun. She was knowledgeable about the fabrics and directed us to pieces that met our standards. She was incredibly delightful and knowledgeable, and accompanied us through our purchase seamlessly. There was one delay in delivery but we received the piece two days later then indicated. The company lied and said the truck broke down however when they arrived I mentioned it to the drivers and they had no idea what I was referring to. It's been over a month and we are pleased with our couch purchase. Keep in mid delivery and warranty is $199 each so it adds up. I definitely would consider purchasing from their again however would get friends to help with delivery to cut costs.
Salesman are great, your best friend, will guarantee anything they will even sell you an extended warranty, they have your best interest in mind. However when you try to use the warranty no one will honor it, even after they have you jump through. deal with G.B.S. Called them no help, Called ashley back, they sent out a tech who told me that it would be covered, called g.b.s. back eight days later, still would not cover it. MY RECOMENDATION IS TO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH ASHLEY AS THEY DO NOT BACK UP THEIR PRODUCT, buying is easy collecting on your warranty is impossible.P.S. I just called Ashley Furniture back, and now the story is that they also wont cover it, I told them that I wanted a refund they said no, so I bought a 5year extended warranty for nothing, Sales lady I talked to today was laughing at me and very Rude. Once again if your Thinking Ashley furniture, DONT.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have experienced. Back offices are a complete mess. Don't expect delivery on time and the back office to fix anything.
Our sales girl was fantastic , Natascha. She's allAbout customer service. Bought clearance living & dining furniture . She said no delivery, which I misunderstood thinking no free delivery . Since my husband and I are in our 70's I phoned to see if we could pay for delivery .NOT, My mistake but still pretty disappointed that can't even pay for delivery . As I said Natascha was great but this will be our last purchase . Wanted to warn others not to make the mistake I made . My fault not Natascha's.

If you dislike putting furniture together out of a box, then this is the store for you. For a fee of $59., your purchase is delivered, assembled in your home. The store has a large selection at fair prices. So when I need new furniture, I head to Ashley's.

No pressure sale with loads of information to make my selection
From the point I ordered my couch to actually getting it was about 3 month wait, when I finally got my couch. Nothing but issues, every section of the couch makes noises, had to get one part of the couch changed out. Took about 3 visit from a tech to finally get it approved. That section only lasted about 1 month before making noise.. not worth the money,
Mark is the absolute best! He helped my family not once, but twice in the last couple years! Ashley furniture Oxnard is absolutely wonderful. Thanks for all your assistance.
Don't be fooled! Early in May I went to the store to look around as I was shopping for new furniture, mainly new living room and bunk beds for the kids. The show room is huge and has lots of beautiful furniture which is easy to fall in love with. At first sight, everyone is friendly and greets you. You are teamed with a sales person to show you around and assist you in what you are looking for. I am assuming that these sales people get commission based on their sales. My sales person was very friendly and talkative, really made me feel comfortable. I told him I was looking for bunk beds and we looked around the kids section and I picked the ones I liked. We went to look up the item online and he advised that it was not in stock so he offered to have me look online to find another bunk bed that would be available. I found one that I was okay with and we went with that... I then looked for a new sofa as well as a rug. Again, allbin while the sale is moving forward. I ended up spending over $2,000 actually it was closer to about $2,800 out the door. Mind you, the store was having a 50% off sale... but it is not necessarily 50%. The offer is quite misleading! They also sell you off with additional protection plan and mattress covers, etc... fast forward to delivery a few weeks later... delivery of my new carpet was never done. No tracking number provided, however the customer service representative stated the rug was delivered by UPS. I never received it! Ashley delivery arrived with the bunk beds and the sofa. As the delivery guys were getting the bunk beds assembled they noticed that there were parts missing and the bunk bed was not complete. There was no way they would be able to properly assemble the beds. They immediately got on the phone with with their representatives to advise them of the issue and I was then advised that they would not be able to get me another bunk bed until July.... and we were in mid May... I was not about to wait that long to get new bunk beds for my kids... now remember, I had chosen this particular bunk bed because others were not available until later dates and I needed bunk beds sooner rather than later. So now I don't have bunk beds for my kids. I eneded up keeping the mattresses and the sofa. I was advised that I would not be able to get any further assistance over the phone and I would have to go to the home store (original store where purchase was made) in order to get a replacement or changes to my purchase. This was frustrating being that I had just moved to my new place about an hour away. I finally made my was to the store in Oxnard a few weeks later. The store was busy and no one offered to help. I found the guy who sold me the furniture and told him what happened, no sorry no thing fr him, he was busy making a sale and pointed me to the customer service desk. It was very frustrating and chaotic! Worst experience by far at a furniture store. I got a refund for the items that I didn't get... however I didn't get the best outcome... I was "gifted" $200 in store credit that I could not use online and must be used on full priced items in person at the store... but... why would I ever want to purchase anything else when I had such a bad experience? I will definitely not be a returning client for sure and will NOT recommend this store. It was truly a disappointing experience and once the sale is done if something goes wrong you are not important anymore!
If I could give them negative stars, it was be a more realistic review of their service. Although our sales person was very nice. The management here is very rudely and they do not have good customer service after they have TAKEN YOUR MONEY. We bought a few pieces from them and had an issue with one of the pieces. My biggest recommendation is to reject the delivery if there is anything wrong (it might be the small/easiest issue to fix) with that piece of furniture you have bought. Even if they have gone through the effort of putting it all together. Because if you don't reject it or send it back at this point they will not fix any issues. They had mentioned to us that they would call us back in regards to a return within maximum wait of two days time. Although we are only in four day of them not calling us back I have a strong belief that they will never. The piece of furniture that they sold us was faulty and it's not up to the standard of the furniture piece they showed us in the show room. I am extremely disappointed and will sadly never shop at Ashley furniture again. This could have been an easy issue for them to fix. But I guess they don't believe in customer service.

We recently visited the Oxnard store to purchase some barstools. We opted for drop off unassembled. Prior to the purchase I specifically asked what is something is damaged or missing. The sales associate told us a claim would be opened for them to handle anything that would need to be corrected. Seemed simple enough, right? Although was a little disappointed that they would not just offer delivery and pickup being as we have made thousands of dollars in purchases from Ashley over the years. So we go ahead with the purchase go to sign paperwork for delivery and there is a section that states having to take any returns back to Colton. So I ask the sales associate what this is? Another associate interjects and says anything damaged or missing from the delivery would have to be taken to Colton. I look at the original sales associate and he just kind of agrees with the other. They basically wasted an hour of our time and definitely lost a loyal customer. We definitely will not be returning for any further new furniture needs!
A big store with lots of couches, but depending on the salesperson you get you could have a good experience or a bad experience. You get assigned a salesperson as soon as you walk thru the door, and then they proceed to follow you around the store the entire time. It's truly not great to feel hounded. We had a really bad sales rep that was making everything difficult, so we left the store and looked in 5 different furniture stores, cursing that saleswoman's name the whole time. I liked one of the couches we found at Ashley, so we ended up going back, to our relief the awful saleswoman went home, and we got to purchase it from an awesome guy.

We went in for an accent chair and we left with a sideboard, dining chairs sleeper sofa, wall mirror pillows chandelier...best deals ever..and they offer 1-2 year financing. Sales people work on commission so be prepared to be escorted through the store by a pushy rep. She took us to all the high-priced items and not even what I was looking for. My husband was shopping for a comfortable loveseat. We had a credit from one Ashley techs could not repair. Upset that the price we were charged wasn't the real price... price on their website was $1k less. I'm so upset that they took advantage of us and will report them to BBB for their unscrupulous practices.

ZERO STARS....My parents just had their new bed delivered and put together today and unfortunately who ever delivered it didn’t make sure the bed was put together right, we called customer service and the soonest they can get someone to come and fix it is until the 20th, first time buying at Ashley’s furniture and the experience wasn’t as we expected, customer service didn’t really help, delivery was about 4 hours late and the bed frame wasn’t put together right, I would expect better service from this furniture store, I honestly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Terrible will never shop here again. Sold us the wrong sofa tried to deliver anyway, delivery crew asked if we purchased the electric or manual. Why would they ask that? Dint they know what I ordered, sure they did the only answer is they tried to deliver the lesser item hoping I would take it. This company is a shame and I cant recommend anyone purchasing anything form them. I called the store and tried to speak to the manager. They said she was busy and would call us back. That was four hours ago which means that management has no intention of getting back to me. Try and call the store see how that works out for you, If you have a problem there is no one to return your call. Shady company at best my advice shop somewhere else.
Horrifying experience. Such a disappointment. Drove 30+ miles to look, they were having a sale, and we got a great price. We thought we were all good to go. We purchased a electric sofa with two recliners. Today, delivery day, we spent 4+ hours tearing down our stereo system and taking our old coach out. We were all set to get our new sofa! When the delivery got here, it was not an electric sofa but a manual! Tried to contact while the guys were here, of course, to no avail. We have tried to speak to a manager, but again, to no avail. So much for management handling issues! We did refuse the delivery, because this feels like bait and switch! I wonder how many people just take the lesser model because the delivery guys are here with something for them? Hubby is so upset, we will probably go out and spend twice as much, just because. . .but not as Ashley! Oh and by the way, my husband sells appliances, and if this happened to one of his customers, he would be on the phone IMMEDIATELY with his customer, and a satisfying resolution!

I was met at the door by Mark who was very friendly. He directed me to the area of the store with the patio furniture I was looking for and gave me time to look around. He came over to me later to see how he could help. He answered all of my questions and was very helpful. I can’t wait to get my new patio furniture. I was very impressed with the customer service!
This store takes forever to ship the items. Each time you call they give you different date of delivery. On top of this, there is no return or exchange policy.

After I paid all furniture-He told me and my boyfriend that he worked so hard on the sell that he would have to go and drink a bottle of Vine at home etc. I had the worst experience at this store with constant lies from Cintya- Abraham-Sells Managers Abble-Floor manager Travis-Costumer care And Melissa R Talking to few people of my awful experience they encourage me to cancel the order. I drove down and canceled my order in person. Abble literally begged me not to cancel the order and even offered me to put my name in the sistem so I could always get a great deal discount from the bad experience I had. He told me he “ suspended Art” for the way he talked to me. He told me he would take good care of me and give me a huge discount if I did not cancel my order. I proceeded not canceling the order and buying more furniture. My furniture took long time to be delivery and it was delivery damaged all of them. There were too many promises verbally, but no results at all. I indicated Oxnard Ashley furniture that communication from now on should be only over email or text. I drove an almost an hour too many time to talk in person since they never responded my calls. I found emails more helpful to have evidence of their false promises. I contacted my Bank and made a report against Ashley Furniture. Luckily I made the purchase with my 𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐓 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐃 so the back proceeded to go after them. I continued telling Ashley staff that I would 𝐍𝐎𝐓 accept any technician coming to my home since I paid a lot to receive 𝐍𝐄𝐖 furniture. The sales people in the store were very helpful but the way Ashley is currently running their company is a nightmare. Phone calls to the store are a series of voice menus that result in a runaround. Coupons issued by the website weren't honored for my item. I felt that I paid a premium price for poor customer service. Basically everything is handled by a central office and showrooms are just that--"showrooms."
My most recent purchase has just been problem after problem. Customer service is horrible and falsely documents their systems/notes. Associates have been noting in their system “how many times they have tried to call” and “emailed w/ no response back” so they can just close a case w/o resolving it. I have not received any phone calls and/or voicemails and have not received any emails either. and Yes, I do check my junk/spam folder as a just in case method. Nope nothing received. I’ve lost my confidence in Ashley HomeStore and will not shop there ever again. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!

I have had absolutely the worst experience ever with this company, not only is their quality CRAP- they are impossible to contact and arrange repairs even while under the 1 year warranty - literally took me 5 months and endless emails, calls and hours on hold- finally I got my item replaced, but honestly I will never do business with this company again!!
If you like the design, I feel like they're as good a value as there is. The supply chains are disrupted so it:s taking about 3 months to get some pieces so check on availability before you fall in love.

This company is garbage! Ordered a set of couches, one did not arrive. When it did arrive a month later it has stains. Now they want to send someone to come out and verify the stains even after I sent pictures while the the driver was on site. Buy your furniture anywhere else!
Was kicked out at the door for not having a face mask. Despite a medical exemption, the five or six store associates standing around at the door asked me to leave. The irony of it all is I had litterally just came from buying a Mercedes Benz with cash and walked in here ready to purchase an expensive sectional with many other rooms still needing furnishing... Meanwhile a 30,000 sf showroom was full of associates and no customers. I'm not sure if I'll file an ADA complaint yet but I did want to inform others that they are discriminatory regarding the mask issue. Side note - this is the same store I walked into a year or two ago and was with my 12 year old daughter and my 10 year old son. The sales associate approached me and asked if my *wife* and I were out shopping for our son... it was extremely awkward and inappropriate. I don't plan to ever return here.
I’ve had THE WORST experience with this company. We purchased a dresser and bench not through your financing but out right cash. Delivery is where it went the worst, they give you a window from 11-3, called right before 3 to let us know they were running behind. New window from 5-7 didn’t show up until almost 8pm, when purchasing the product we were informed that they would assemble the furniture where we wanted it. Perfect, we live in apartments and having them install and paying for it was a go for us! They come to deliver the furniture, leave a 9 drawer dresser in the middle of the living room stating that they can’t put the dresser upstairs because if they hit the walls it comes out of their paycheck, and then place the bench box in our room. We arrived home to find a box in the room and unable to take the dresser upstairs... We’ve been waiting with a dresser in the middle of the living room for 5 days now. They sent out an installer to them inform us that we can’t disassemble the dressers and there isn’t anything they can do, but leave the dresser and we need to call and let them know we want a refund and them to pick up the dresser. Now we’re told the case has been denied because someone signed for it. How unprofessional and quite frankly scandalous of this company to take peoples money and leave them diss satisfied. I will never shop at Ashley’s or even recommend anyone to go there.

They were having a 50% sale he showed me options that fit what I was looking for. I asked for the price of the one I liked best and he wrote down the order on a worksheet he even drew the sectional with chaise sticking out on the right. I was so excited for my new couch, we prepared the night before delivery by getting rid of our existing furniture. Delivery day they were on time however after they unwrapped it I quickly noticed the piece was set up for a left side chaise I told the guy and he said I would have to work it out with the store (it’s 8:30 store doesn’t open till 11). He wants our signature and my boyfriend tells him he shouldn’t leave it. He insisted meanwhile only half the couch is there I asked if he was done he said yes. He didn’t have details on the rest of the delivery. My first call was to customer service who opened a ticket and (verbatim) told me I was tricked by the driver to accept the half couch. I’m mortified. I next was in touch with MD our sales guy. He asked me to text him a pic of the invoice and he would look into it. He told me the rest was pending delivery, I wanted to know about the piece being on the wrong side. He said he would work with his manager and get back to me. I heard very little from him over the next few days. My anxiety it threw the roof so I call the store two days later to find that i apparently only was sold half a couch and they were pending approval to have the couch picked up but if I wanted the rest of the sectional I would be charged more mind you they were running a 50% off sale... Advertised price was1449.99 and we were charged $725 for the sofa which we paid in full maybe a case of bait and switch? I feel completely taken advantage of and left with no resolve and half a sectional this is probably the worst purchasing experience of my life I wish this on no one. I was really trying to be civil and work this out with the store but we have gotten no where. So do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else!

Zero stars if it would be possible.This is horrible! We have attempted to order a bedroom set over the period of 3 months, and through 2 different Ashley stores. Terrible customer service while at both stores- only out to make a sale, not truly caring about the customer satisfaction. Continually asked if delivery would be available to our area, as it was a new home development and were repeatedly told this was not an issue. The fist attempt of delivery (a month later) sent our order out of state. When confronted about their mistake, only offered to take off $250 (delivery fee) on an order that was 2 thousand dollars. Then, second delivery day comes, and they are unable to locate. Trying to speak to the store manager is useless (unless you are there in person). This has been the worst customer service experience I have had with furniture or otherwise. Save time and money and shop elsewhere.
On Nov 1, 2020 I purchased furniture at the Ashley Home Store in Oxnard, CA. FYI. Todd Wanek is the CEO of Ashley Furniture located at 1 Ashley Way, Arcadia, WI. The furniture was delivered on Jan 18, 2021. I also paid for the Premium Delivery option, which means, they deliver, bring it into my home, and setup the furniture. The delivery crew showed up at 9:00 am. - took everything out of the truck and put it in my house and left. It was a very quick delivery! Immediately, after they left, I inspected the furniture and observed many defects, listed below but not limited to: 1. End table is damaged. Top corner is chipped off and looks like a failed attempt to cover it up with a marking pen. 2. Coffee table top was not finished properly and has swirl marks in it. Also there are heavy white streaks all over the top and sides. I guess it’s supposed to look like stressed furniture but it just looks bad and hastily finished. It’s a mess! 3. One large chair has a crooked leg and there is white paint slopped all over the bottom, wooden parts. 4. The other large chair has a crooked leg on it. By 11am, I was in the store complaining to Abraham Aparicio, the store manager and also cancelling the last end table that wasn’t delivered. They took that end table off my bill but refused to acknowledge a replacement of the damaged furniture even though the furniture was broken, shoddy and has crooked legs, etc. It looked like “B” stock merchandise, not new. The manager told me they will only REPAIR the furniture, not replace it. What? I didn’t pay good money for furniture to be repaired, refinished etc. - IN MY HOME! What a disaster that would be, just waiting to happen. Since Todd Wanek and Ashley Home Furnishings breached my Sales Contract and fraudulently took advantage of us, I requested a full refund and disputed the charges to my Credit Card. I reviewed the store on Google, wrote complaints to the BBB locally plus the BBB in Wisconsin, where their main headquarters are located. After they received my BBB complaints, Ashley wrote to my CC Company and said they were going to pick up the furniture and issue a refund. I was never contacted by Ashley furniture other than to schedule the furniture getting picked up. April 30, 2021. The refund to my credit card has been completed and Ashley has their junk furniture back in their warehouse. This matter is now resolved.
BUYER BEWARE! They might not get your purchase to you and blame it on damage, or cancel your order altogether, saying they talked with someone (they didn't). We have been waiting for four months now for a bench that we purchased to have in front of the house for Christmas. Several phone call and several visits later, we are STILL waiting. There is something wrong with their process. If they don't fix it fast, they will have more posts like this. Make sure they give you some type of guarantee of delivery, or pick it up yourself. I will be taking my future business elsewhere.
Horrible place to buy your furniture. We were scammed. We bought $4K couches only for them to be peeling 2.5 years later. The sales lady Darla Wellman told us they were leather couches, we had no reason to not believe her nor did it cross our mind that she would be lying to us in order to sell and make that commission from our purchase. I've called several times: The 1st time they didn't make any notes on my account. That person was Jemia. All she did was post the pics she asked me to send while on the phone with her. The 2nd time I called I spoke to Serlina or Serlyn and she updated the notes and stated someone would call me back with a credit offer in 48-72 hrs. That didn't happen. The 3rd call I made on 2/3/21 I spoke to Ariel and she was loudly yawning and kept apologizing for it, she did so several times. Very rude and she eventually randomly hung up on me. 4th call was right after that (still holding my composure) and I spoke to a Ronise, she told me that Ariel had closed my case number. With no reason and with zero resolution.??? I asked for her to send me to a supervisor which she did and the sup (Melisa) again just said some one would call me back about this issue in 48-72 hrs. I asked her to please follow up with me by Monday to assure I get some kind of update this time which she said she would. That's pending. I have spent thousands of dollars at Ashley home store and I can assure that if this is not handled properly I will never do business with them again. I need new couches now because these pleather ones are peeling after 2.5 years. They sold me their 5 year protection plan for an additional $300 but was told they don't cover peeling. What kind of company is this? Watch out, I'd recommend you take your business elsewhere and DO NOT believe the sales reps, they WILL lie to you in order to make their sales commission. We fell victims of a scam by a company who does not do anything to protect their customers. I can tell from all the interactions with several employees by now (starting with Darla the initial sales agent) that this company lacks honesty and has a horrible out of control culture among their employees. I will be filing a lawsuit if they keep kicking me to the curb like this and I will take this to the newspaper or news to make other customer caution before they are scammed. Purchase a bed set from this place and since May of 2020 and got to say since then bed has not been working correctly they have came out three times to fix in addition to that we requested a replacement we had an address on file we had to change it and so many problems because of this company got to save super disappointed in the customer service super disappointed in the amount of time that I've waited still to this day I do not have a replacement of the bed and it's really really discouraging and I highly don't encourage anyone to buy anything from these company because of their lack of customer service lack of customer focus and their inability to make it right with the guess. The service I received from this company is awful they cannot resolve any issue thus far literally it's been almost a year and I still don't have my bed set fixed
I've never actually liked shopping here. Always felt like I was being pushed into something I wasn't quite sold on. I walked in to just verify why I would by elsewhere. However today was different, Johnny A. really helped me out. He cared about the details and he helped me make a decision instead of a purchase. In turn I was able to find what I needed and he helped all the way. I'm happy that this was my 1st purchase at Ashley's.
Ashley Furniture is flat out lying to their customers about delivery times. I was told up front that it would take 1 month to deliver my new couch. 5 days before the delivery date they called to tell me the couch would be delayed another month. Then 1 week later they called again and said that it would now be about 1 more month and that they didn't have an exact date but would email me when all the sections of the couch came in. While on hold I listened to the commercial they play saying the process should be fun, exciting and simple. Not one of those words has described my experience with Ashleys. They also explain that their employees are their most important assets. Last time I checked the employees don't pay their own salary... its the customer and the customer should be the most important asset. Ashley needs to reevaluate how they mislead customers and the challenges they are facing with finding enough stock to supply the customers.
I have been going to Ashley's for my home needs for quite sometime now but the last couple times the customer service has been lacking. The over all selection and pieces are great, and they typically have great deals too. My husband and I were looking for a dining set. They have these deals for a 5pc dining set (899) or 14 pc set. (1299) We asked Breana about prices and first she said it was set price, but then would mention a 40% deal and would give us a different and more cheaper price? So obviously we thought what she was referring to was the cheaper prices cause why else would she tell us that price? (She said it would be around 600 for the 5pc set) ok cool. So we are about to be rung up and it came out to be 1200 like woah woah woah, hold on where is that number coming from??? She then condescendingly asks what we don't understand and kept pressuring us on what to do. I get it, changing our minds can be annoying but no need to be rude, especially when I don't know, you said it would be 600 and now it jumped to 1200??? Even the manager said the dining sets were 40% off so its like??? Do the associates even know their own deals or prices? It is just really frustrating because if the 40% is referring to a SINGLE ITEM (let's say for example, just the table, not the set) THEN SPECIFY THAT CLEARLY. After she kept pressuring us, we declined all together cause at this point it seemed way too sketchy and she had the audacity to sputter out, "haha oh my God, ok its fine..." visibly annoyed. I get you want commission, but no need to be rude, we only asked for prices, not your help all together. Also they barely wear their masks right in the store, it goes over the nose.
The store lies to you about product availability to make a sale. The associates make numerous mistakes on your order and do not help you to fix the issue. They are more concerned with going over hours than their customer's wellbeing. Do not buy from this store.
Ask for Chandler, Sam, or Able. The best Ashley's furniture store I have ever been in, hands down. I have never had bad service at an Ashley's, but these guys really went above and beyond for me. My wife bought a dining room table set. I have a Suburban, so in order to get the table, we had to take the legs off. It is not the employees job to take apart the furniture, but these guys helped me out. We're new to the area and don't know anyone. So this meant a lot to me cause it's not their job but they helped anyways. And they refused my tip lol... Hats off to those guys.
If i could give 0 stars I would. I bought furniture in October with a date of receiving product in December (2 months for a small night stand). Now they are saying it’s going to be another couple months after I call to follow up. They are quick to take the money but it’s taking 5 months to get the product saying it’s because of covid, however other big corporations selling furniture are not giving that excuse.
We had such a wonderful experience shopping in store so this is a very disappointing review to write. We ordered a couch in October and were told both verbally and in writing that delivery would occur in mid-November, which kept getting pushed further and further back. If we had known that, this alone would have made us rethink purchasing from Ashley Furniture. We were told delivery would occur today, and upon arrival we were immediately told there was an issue with the order. Because one arm rest was missing from the chaise part of our sectional couch that we could not receive any of the order, leaving us with nothing, even though we repeatedly said that we would be fine having the rest of the order fulfilled today and have the arm rest shipped for us to add on ourselves later. I would avoid purchasing from this Ashley Furniture unless you have the time to wait indefinitely to receive your purchase.
I placed an orden 4 months ago, I was told That the items I bought were going to take 1 month to be delivered. Not a problem but 2 months after they said the item was not in stock yet. 3 months after they called that only 1 of the 2 sofas was available if I wanted that in the mean time they will be delivering that, I said I want all my items be delivered at the same time since its a set, they said okay can you wait a couple more days. Okay just a couple more I&'m been waiting now 3 months Then 1 more month after they called to schedule my delivery with the news that I had to wait longer for all my order to be ready. I Spend 2000 and I canceled that order that day. I had to wait one more month for my refund. you may have better luck. But I had a Terrible experience.
Buyer beware! No communication comes from Ashley&'s at all, regarding deliveries. We purchased a bench over a month ago, in-store. On the day of delivery, we didn&'t receive anything. I called the following day and was told the item had a defect and wasn&'t loaded. (No call from Ashley&'s) I was told to call following day to reschedule a delivery. Called (30 mins) and was told they couldn&'t reschedule because the paperwork still hadn&'t been returned to the warehouse. They would call me to reschedule. (No call from Ashley&'s)We are now 3 weeks further and no call from Ashley&'s. I reached out to their online attendant without success. Finally, I called and spent an hour and 40 mins trying to get someone to get us answers. ASHLEY MANAGERS: This is no way to treat customers. This is an opportunity to correct communication issues within your company. If you don&'t correct this part of your business, YOU WON&'T BE MISSED WHEN YOU&'RE GONE!
I made an in store purchase approximately 6 weeks ago and expected my delivery today. At the time of purchase I was told the reason for the delay in delivery taking so long was due to COVID. I received a partial delivery and according to the store the rest will be delivered in March 2021, if I had known when I purchased I&'d be waiting 5 months for delivery I never would have agreed. I&'ve called the store, customer service and corporate and expect to be getting a full refund. I only received the ottoman and not the 2 piece sectional
First time buying furniture from this place and it&'s already been a hustle with this store and their customers service. Their delivery sucked turns out they were only doing a partial. What kind of shh is that? they said the other half is in backorder. They kept changing the backorder date and to top it off send a message with a confirm delivery date, waited and they never came. This place Freaking sucks. Don&'t waist you&'re money or time at this place. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO BUSINESS AT ASHELY FURNITURE, NEVER!!
I was expecting a delivery today from 12pm - 4pm. It never came. I confirmed the delivery THREE times this week. Actually, Ashley reached out to me THREE separate times to confirm the delivery (email, text and a phone call). After wasting my entire day, I spent 30 minutes holding for &"customer service&" and was just told that my delivery had to be rescheduled to 12/10. Not only was the operator rude, she had the audacity to tell me that she was busy as today (the day after Thanksgiving) is their busiest day of the year. Terrible customer service! Good luck to anyone ordering furniture and expecting it to arrive before 2022.
Sales associates were wonderful. Delivery not so much. Was given a window of 4 hours. A half hour after the delivery window, they called to say it would be another hour or so. They want to deliver bedroom furniture at 8pm on a Saturday night. Maybe they should schedule their delivery drivers better. NEVER BUYING FROM THEM AGAIN!
Horrible service and customer service with no end in sight! We purchased our couch on July 17th, paid CASH. 3/4 of the way into finalizing sale, we are told it will take 2 months to receive couch due to COVID, no problem 👍.... September we receive a text that the couch will be delivered on the upcoming Saturday, we responded to the text, YES. We take off work the day of schedule delivery and NOTHING, no couch, no text, no phone call.....we call them on the next business day and are told, “ sorry for the inconvenience” your couch will arrive mid October. Mid October the wrong couch is delivered, the wrong couch!!! The next business day we go to Ashley’s, we are told they will notify the manager and it will take 5 days for manager approval.... It is November 18 and nothing, we are told by Ashley’s that they are waiting for manager approval. We call, we go in speak face to face, and we are told, Waiting for manager approval, I ask where is the manager, they respond, “ he is not here at the moment” We paid CASH for our couch 4 MONTHS ago, and we are still waiting with no end in sight...... All we want is the couch we paid for and some type of response!!! We paid approximately $2000. 00 cash.... Something doesn’t seem right!!! A. Walters

DO NOT PURCHASE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. I purchased 3 separate items which cost me over $3000. I was sold an extended warranty that would cover damages for up to 5 years. Two of the products I purchased, a recliner and a sofa sustained accidental damage. Actually, the back cushion of the sofa started to fall apart, which the salesman told me the warranty would cover. On both items the warranty company found a loophole that denied me from coverage. The warranties are a complete waste of money. I was misled by the sales associates. Read the fine print!
So far our experience at the Ashley Oxnard store has been great. Our first visit we just wanted to be left on our own to browse without any pressure. Abel, the manager, checked on us and got our vibe and let us be. When we returned the following weekend, Kristina offered to help and she was great. She gave the right balance of being close and helping but also giving us our distance to talk as a family. We ended up having to head home and Kristina took down our wish list and emailed us what our estimate would be later that afternoon. For the next couple of days she had great communication and answered our questions. Our final trip we purchased many items from the list and separated them into 2 shipments. The first arrived in 4 days, the second will be in a few weeks as one piece of the couch is not immediately available. All of my emails have been promptly responded to in a kind and professional manner.Our first order of headboard with bedframe and barstools are working out great these first 2 weeks. Will post an update on our future shipments.

Although I am fairly satisfied with my furniture, the customer service SUCKS.After delivery of my furniture, I discovered large &"open&" staples on table bottom. I contacted Ashley at Oxnard store and left a voicemail. She helped us finance our living room and dining room set. We can&'t stop smiling because not only did we receive the best service, our dining room + living room set will be arriving in just 2 weeks! Awful service by the delivery crew half of our order wasn’t delivered, when we questioned the missing pieces we were told they were on back order and that we had to accept delivery and had to call for further details of our missing pieces. Our sales person Amber Williams guaranteed quality service and she provided us with her number to call if we had any questions. We still haven’t heard back from her. When we called about our missing order we were told we had to wait for the truck to return and for them to speak to the delivery crew to confirm that our order was missing. Upon looking at our furniture that was delivered we realized that some parts on our table did not work. When we called about this issue we were told that the soonest we could have a technician come to the house to fix the problem was January 2021. I would NOT recommend this service to anyone poor quality furniture horrible customer service and shady lying sales rep. I would have gladly spent more money else where to avoid these issues. Never shopping at Ashley furniture again.
Prices are too high there's always 50% off and that's still too much. Salespeople are like stalkers. I prefer to shop solo and let someone know if I need help.

We had externally bad experience with thoseGuys . We cancelled one item from our large order a day after we ordered it. They never gave us the money back . WeCalled the store and customer serviceMultiple times and got no answers. We got some of this shipment finallyAnd it hadThe wrong items , and two broken side tables . Two month later we are still waiting for the $1000 they suppose To give us back . I have never had such a bad customer service . The manager stated he will call me within 24-72 hours. A week later no one called . I called back the store to have a rude rep telling me she have no idea about a refund and a manager will call me a few days . I places a complaint with BBB. Received table damaged on Friday. Was told by delivery staff to request an exchange. Didn&'t sign off on delivery. Called customer service Monday, on hold for 20 minutes, had to leave a VM. Recording said I&'d get a call back in 24 hours.
Just one thing I’d like to give them as a head up. Sales people ( Linda) please chill and let the customers look around by THEMSELVES y’all be making us feel pressure to purchase when you don’t even know if we can afford it. Our quick visit ended up being a few hours (2hrs and a half) because of the pressure to buy and us going into a purchase that we just couldn’t afford (payment wise). Thank to Linda attaching herself to us we wasted her time and our own. In the end she gave us an attitude because we took that many hours of her time and didn’t buy. Although from the beginning we told her we came to look around (emphasize in look). I guess my mistake was that I should told her to just leave us be and we will get back to her if we wanted something.

This store and the whole company are a joke and best believe that they will treat you like one too. I went in looking to buy a dinning table, I ended up finding a cute set and a tv stand to match. The buying process was great, fast forward to delivery day... Delivery guys show up and tell me my table set is here but they had a glitch in the system and they couldn&'t bring my tv stand (okay understandable) they told me that someone would call me later that day or the following day.. 3 days passed and no one called so I called, they told me that there was no date set up for me to receive my tv stand.. No note of it or anything. Anyway I finally got them to schedule another delivery day 2 weeks later. Delivery day came and I get my tv stand, to my surprise it was beaten up. I told the guy I didn&'t want to accept it like that. When I purchased the furniture the sells guy told me not to accept the furniture if it was damaged, well the delivery guy took pictures and said he would file a report so that a technician can come. I was told that I would receive a phone call that day or the next. I waited 4 days.. When I called they said NO ONE filed anything! So what did they guy take pictures of? Who knows.. Anyway, after sending them pictures of the damage I get a date for someone to come and &"fix&" them.. The soonest they had was 2 weeks later! Whatever, fixing day came and it was a disaster.. they tech was trying to paint over the damaged parts but his spray cans nozzle messed up and he couldn&'t use the appropriate paint, so then he starts using some off yellow paint on my white furniture! That backfires and then uses something else. He admitted that it didn&'t go so well so then he said he would request an exchange for me. He took pictures and left. I again waited for someone to call, after days I called and guess what.. Again, he didn&'t put in the request for me! I tried calling but I was on hold for so long so I decided to drive to the store and complain in person. By this time, I&'ve had it. I&'m furious. I ask to speak to the manager and I get paired with some guy who&'s the &"manager &" I tell him about the horrible service I&'ve had and at this point I don&'t trust them and I want a refund and someone to pick up the tv stand. The guy apologized and was desperate to fix my problem and even offered a great discount. Well I fell for it and I agreed. We set up a day for an exchange.. Finally it&'s the exchange day and the delivery guys brought in the new tv stand and took the old one, the guy laughed at the poor attempts the tech had made to fix it. He scratched off what i was told was paint and he told me the tech has just applied wax to it! THEY COVERED DAMAGE WITH WAX! Well I&'m almost done. I was checking my bill and the discount was NEVER ADDED! I called and asked them about the discount and the manager that I spoke to said that when I went in, the guy who helped me WASNT EVEN A MANAGER! This store is a series of unfortunate events. It&'s almost comical at how horrible they are. Costco is down the street, they have WAY better things. Don&'t waste your time and money here...
Our experience in the store originally was top notch but it all went downhill from there. Never in my life have I been treated SO poorly by a business. Our couch was broken by the delivery drivers jamming it through our door & although we reported it immediately here we are almost two months later still getting the total run around. We have been hung up on by customer service numerous times, we have been told contradictory information numerous times. The technician came out and assured us we would get a replacement and apologized but then later customer service had no record of that. We went to the local store and we're blown off completely twice. We just want a couch that isn't broken like we paid for and maybe to get treated like a valued customer with some respect but to date neither have happened. We spent alot of money at this store on multiple rooms and basically got a junky broken piece of garbage couch in our living room that makes cracking sounds and shakes anytime it is sat on & it is brand new. Stay far away from this store because they do not back what they sell and will charm you at first until they get your money.

TO TOP IT OFF THEY GIVE ME A TIME FRAME AND DON'T EVEN CALL TO TELL ME ITS NOT ON THE TRUCK AFTER ALL ... I JUST CANCELLED ONE OF THE ITEMS THE SECOND IS DUE TODAY WHERE IF I DON'T RECEIVE IT I WILL CANCEL THAT ONE AS WELL AND RETURN EVERYTHING ELSE. They seem to care only about the sale, they took 2 months to issue me a credit for a return and the 4 times I visited them during this negative experience, there were other customers there complaining about delivery issues. Its unfortunate because when I first purchased from them 6 years ago I had a great experience but something drastically changed for the worst. I likely won't be purchasing from them any longer.
I bought a couch a month a go for what I thought was a good deal. It would take a month to deliver but I could wait. But the day before it was supposed to be delivered they said it was going to be several weeks late. I&'m not sure how after a month it can still not be here but here we are. They couldn&'t even give me a new delivery date because it &"takes time to process these things,&" so now I&'m in this nebulous state where I&'ve technically bought a couch but I have no idea where it is or when it&'s coming. I should have just gone to Costco...
This was my first time ever going to a home furniture and was quickly reminded why I usually like to look elsewhere. I was given a price for a couch and I bought it, called the next day and told they made an error and tried to lure me back to the store to “add” another piece (which would result in adding over $400). They were unwilling to work it out and customer service was terrible. They texted me only throughout the whole time despite me telling them to call me, to which they said they were busy with customers.... ummmmm... what am I?... Anyways, great people, but they need some serious help on the professional side.
After checking the shipping address like 3 different times in the store, they still got the delivery address wrong. The employee was moving the pin around on the map, even after giving him the address. 1 job people.
If I could give this particular store zero stars I would. I do understand that’s not how review scales work. My fiancé and I purchased a coffee table from this store and it was delayed by almost 6 weeks due to COVID - which is totally and completely understandable. However, when the table did arrive, not all the pieces were there, so they couldn’t put the table together. Also the delivery drivers did not speak English and my Spanish wasn’t good enough to figure out what the issue was originally. So we call the store and they send us in every different direction - they told us to call the number on the site. Which tells you in you bought something in store to call the store which we did and they told us to call them. (Lol) So almost three weeks after the table arrived they ship us the remaining pieces but don’t schedule someone to come back to assemble the table. At this point we are so beyond upset because no one at the store is being helpful or communicative. So we ask the to process a return and come pick up the table. They agree and tell us they processed the return. They didn’t and they never schedule someone to come pick up the table. So I call the store again and no one has any information on our case and can’t help me. So now We are stuck with a coffee table that is not fully functional. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.
It was My first time at Ashley&'s Furniture, and unfortunately my experience was &"I was not impressed&"We went in the store today looking for a dinning room set. We walked around the entire store just browsing at the options they had distributed all over the store. There is not a specific place to look at all of the dinning sets available, which is fine. The disappointment came when we had questions the signs on all of the dinning sets appear as &"5 piece sets&" what&'s included? Can we customize the sets? No one approached us to ask if we needed help. I kept on looking around to see if we could spot someone, but no luck. The sets I was looking at range from $1800-$2400, some seem like good quality, some seemed like the chairs were very globally. The price tags were a little steep for me but I would have been willing to consider buying a set if I would have gotten my questions answered. We ended up leaving and driving another mile to Bobs Furniture. Whole other experience there as soon as we walked in. Sale associate was very friendly and informative. We ended up purchasing a 7 piece dinning set there for $1,199 plus $149 delivery + assembly. What I&'m trying to point out is that Ashley&'s Furniture really needs to improve on their customer service.
I have nothing but a very frustrating experience at this store! I am not gonna talk about their customer service (really bad btw) but how they try to ripe you off! I really like this a 5pc couch which price was $2199 ... the vendor said I had a extra 40% off. The total they gave in the end was 2400$. Really? I waited almost an hour for a price quote. Also I quote a pouf that they said it cost $299 and with their amazing discount was $199 but I checked online and it was never $299 but $179 and the price online was $118. It almost 80$ cheaper than their major &"labor sale&".Do better. Don&'t fool people. Never buying anything from this place. Never.
After several times to the store, with mixed outcomes, I was happy to finally have Amber help us find our perfect sectional. She made things easy and was attentive, but not overbearing! The manager Lee, was also friendly and always happy to help us. Thank you Amber and Lee!

I ordered couch and matching chair the chair came in very damaged I refused to accept it Then was told it’s on back order till 2021!! A year and 3 months away!! Same day my daughter ordered mattresses the first time they delivered the wrong one then they sent a used one!!!! She never got her mattress replaced yet they are billing her for something she NEVER RECEIVED!!!! I give them a -0

All if this made shopping at Ashley Furniture painless. Best of all, she didn't follow us all over the store with annoying interjections. I returned it to the store we purchased it at (Oxnard) and we were told all returns required approval before we get replacement shipped or a refund. We waited and waited and waited. Called to find out the status 4x now and we get the runaround, transfer from here to there and everywhere. After spending multiple hours on the phone, I get to a live person who can’t tell me anything so they connect me to the service survey which in turn, ends the call! Its been 2 months now and I still don’t have a resolution to this issue. I can tell you, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ASHLEY FURNITURE FOR ANY PURCHASE! I believe They are scam artists!

LOTS to look at here. Almost too much. They cover every square inch of space with decorations and anything else they can to make it look home-ish. The pricing is a little confusing when it comes to their discounts. Would be easier if they just put the price you would pay but they don't. Overall they have a good selection, but I wasn't impressed with the layout of everything. I want to see the actual furniture. Not all the junk decorating it.

This is the first and only time we'll buy from here! The customer service wasn't very good. There seemed to be plenty of salespeople but the one who called on the phone & went into the showroom seemed to too busy to give us much attention. We told him what dresser & chest set we wanted & even showed him a picture from the internet. The set included the mirror so we expected to get a mirror but when it was delivered, no mirror. We called back then told the salesman that we're coming in again to talk to him. After waiting (again.) like 10minutes, he talked to us & called his manager to assist. We wanted to buy the mirror but the manager gave us the mirror. I wish we could have taken the one in the showroom because when the new mirror was delivered, it was the wrong one!! At this point I'm frustrated so I call the showroom & no one answered so I left a message 2 days ago & no response. I'm going to cut up my Ashley crediit card since we won't be back
Horrible customer service. Very rude and car salesman-like in the worst way. Also their prices are higher in the store than online on their website so buyer beware...or just don't buy from here.

Ordered Furniture beginning of June.Tried to confirm delivery. which was suppose to be 6 weeks. They told me today I am going to have to wait another 6 weeks. They gave our furniture to someone else. Now I have to wait 3 months . Not cool.

Horrible customer service. I called to speak with the manager, Soheil at the Oxnard Store and Adriana was very unprofessional and condescending and made me feel like I am annoying her. The store mgr. never called me back, as if he was too busy to deal with unhappy customer that purchased $10,000.00 of furniture from them and is missing one of the items. Do the Executive with this company even care?????? This is really sad!!!!

Well, got a great deal for my daughter bedroom set and it was gorgeous. Probably best deal on 14 piece but of course there is always a but, the customer service needs some major help. The lady that is helping us just walked away in the middle of us trying to get the bedroom set we wanted to finish with someone else. Never hit her to go get someone else to help us out and finish the sell. Let's just say not to satisfied with the service but great deals.

Ashley hires out another company to do their deliveries. The people that they hire don't care if they ding your product. be very careful. I would request to have Ashley to deliver your furniture.
I purchased a full size bed, a chest, and a nightstand for my son. I know the price was on the low side, so I fully expect that the quality was not going to be on par with Ethan Allen or Crate and Barrel. The nightstand was good, no complaints there. The drawer on the chest was so small that it really should have been a 4 drawer chest instead of 5 drawer chest. The shading/paint was slathered on haphazardly, but I was able to get the extra off with a magic eraser. The biggest problem was the bed because it was not a perfect rectangle. It was very noticeable after we put the mattress on (see pics). My similarly priced bed frame from World Market didn't have that problem. We had to put some torque on the frame to get everything to fit. I was not happy with the quality of the furniture even after adjusting my expectation accordingly.
Zero costumer service . When you call the store you get rerouted to a call center . Anytime I have needed to speak to someone about my purchase I actually have to go there . The call center just connects you over and over again to no one . This couch has been a disaster since we bought it . Bought a warranty but have no way of contacting anyone on getting the defected parts repaired . What a waste of money .
All I can say don't buy here. Poor quality. Terrible service and the warranty insurance they recommend is worthless. They will not honor or cover anything.

See those pictures? This couch is 4 years old. It is broken and torn. We did have a nice man out to fix the broken frame part inside...but it broke again. AND the guy who fixed it said the quality has gone down since we purchased it. (I noticed that comment from another review.)Charlene? Do you have a large dog or mean cat? Nope. No pets. Charlene?! Do you have 17 children? Nope. No kids. Beware.

The customer service I've encountered with this company is by far the worst I've experienced. No contact was attempted to inform me that my shipment changed to 3 weeks later than expected. When I tried calling, the wait time to speak to someone exceeded 1.5 hours to no avail. When someone from customer service finally picked up, the lady tried lieing by stating an attempt was made a week prior but oddly enough, no record shows this phone call was received nor was there a voicemail.
We had new table and chairs delivered last week. All but one chair is even on the floor. The table has cracks and saw marks on it. I have been trying to contact you since delivery with no response. Piss poor customer service. Never again.

I purchased a couch from Ashley in Oxnard California as part of a $5,300 package in August of 2016. I also purchased a 5-year protection plan at that time. In December of 2016 I contacted Ashley as the structure of the couch was breaking down and the cushions were sagging. They offered to replace the cushions and I agreed however ultimately they decided to replace the entire couch. In January of 2018 I again contacted Ashley with the same issue on the replacement couch. After sending a technician to inspect the couch they again agreed to replace the couch even though I had asked to have a credit issued so I could purchase a different couch as obviously this couch was not well made. The customer service rep assured me that they were aware that this had been a problem with this couch and that it had been remedied and I would no longer have an issue. In March of 2020 I again contacted Ashley with the exact same issue and they sent another technician. This time, even though I have the extended warranty, they refused to assist me. I was referred to the insurance company who refused to process a claim oh, they referred me back to Ashley corporate who said they could not help me and referred me to the local store to try and get parts to fix the issue. It was referred to the manager who said that they could not help me because it was out of warranty and also the couch have been discontinued. Obviously there warranty means nothing and it is a waste of time and money to purchase an extended warranty. I am extremely disappointed that a $2,000 couch would not last more than 2 years and will never do business with this company again. I wish I would have followed my initial instincts and gone to Lazy Boy to buy a quality piece of furniture. They have a lifetime warranty and their Furniture is well worth it. Please do not waste your money going to Ashley Furniture.
Furniture shopping is never an easy thing, os tedious and seems to take forever to find what you need and want and in the budget you have etc then on top of that is hard to find a place where you feel comfortable shopping without being tailed by a sales person pushing you or even pressuring you to buy most of the times what you not even looking for or what you need. However for us this was not the case, we recently moved to our own place and we needed pretty much our whole household furniture but had not found the right place to get it old, we walked into Ashley to look at a dresser for one of our kids were immediately greeted at the door by Breanna who happened to also be the sales person who would assist us that day, I told her it was our kid who was looking for a specific dresser and she immediately addressed my teenager and asked her 'alright what are you looking for?' My teenager told her what she was looking for Breanna then took us around the showroom showing us exactly what my kid niece wanted, while looking at the dressers I noticed around the store they had pretty good sales prices on full furniture sets for living rooms and dining rooms so I then asked Breanna to show me some of those explained to her we have two kids and dogs and cats and we need living rooms set that would fit for it, she showed me patiently and never tried to show me aside from what I was looking or asking, then I mentioned by the way I am also needing a low profile bed because of my toddler and again told her specifics of what I was looking and she took me and showed me only and exactly what fit what I was asking and didn't walked through the showroom trying to show me other beds that she thought I should buy like other sales persons had tried, long story short she spent a good hour or so that day with me at the end I told her well thank you Breanna I will get with my sister as we roommate and we are buying this together then we'll come back she was super nice about it gave me her business card and said no problem honey text when u decide to come in so I can be expecting you and give you girls all the attention you need. Well we went 2 days later and she sure gave us the attention and time we needed, she showed my sister around explained every she had explained to be before just as patiently she even got our kids snacks from the vending machine while we we decided what we were gonna end up chosing, at the end we walked out with a full living room set, dinning room set, the dresser for my niece and the perfect bed set I was needing and had looked around for and it all fit in our budget as she worked with us incredibly. Honestly I can say enough how amazing this experience was, so if you ever walk into the Ashley store location on rose Ave in Camarillo do yourself a favor and ask for Breanna she will help you and sale you what you need and look for without feeling push into buying something else she was increíble! We cannot wait for our furniture to be delivered 🥰

$2000 Sofa with warranty bought here in 2018. The upholstery was torn inside the couch and it needed a repair. The technician replaced the upholstery but also replaced the foam insert with the wrong size. Now one seat of the couch has a perfect square divot with a spring that pokes. They will not fix it again even though Ashley damaged it with the faulty repair. Never Go Here!
WILL NEVER BUY FROM ASHLEY AGAIN. Bought a wide recliner in December 2019. In April 2020, I noticed the right side of the chair was sagging almost 2 inches . They sent a tech and he ordered a new cushion. It was replaced and the issue is the same. They sent another tech and he told me there is a problem, but cannot be fixed . They will not replace the chair as they say it is normal wear and tear. Really, not after only four months. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY THE QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS JUNK !

I WILL NEVER BUY FROM ASHLEY AGAIN I bought a double recliner in December 2019 and in April 2020, noticed the right side of the chair was collapsing. I called Ashley customer service and they sent a tech out to look at it. He determined it was the seat cushion and it was ordered and replaced. The condition was the same if not worse. Another tech came out and determined there is a problem that was not repairable. Customer service called me and said it is normal wear and tear. They have declined to stand behind this poor quality faulty recliner. If it was 2 years of use, I might understand, but not 4 months.

Do not shop here! Reason 1: Their furniture is extremely poor quality, the prices are on the lower side but are even too high for the standard of quality. A couch might last you 2 years at best before beginning to wear and tear and definitely don&'t wash the furniture it will be shredded to pieces. This brings me to Reason 2: I bought several pieces of furniture here (by mistake) about 3 years ago. My couch is already DESTROYED. But with Covid going on and literally no other furniture stores opened, I was forced to go back to Ashley in Oxnard to look for another couch. I was immediately turned away at the door for not eating a face mask. SO I went all the way back home, got a mask and went back. Upon returning, I was rudely let in forced to sign in with an un sanitized pen (hypocritical) and then forced to have my temperature taken with a dirty forehead thermometer used on every other guest if I wanted to come in. I reluctantly followed along ONLY because we need a damn couch and to show that I am a serious buyer. (I would NEVER give over my God given American right of FREEDOM for this type of treatment for anyone or any reason unless I was serious about something) it really pissed me off. After I was finished with this degradation, the manager who performed this procedure told me there were no sales people available for me and to look around, so I did, for over an hour. I found several couches I was interested in, and passed by SEVERAL free sales personal on the floor scouting their next sales victim, but after each one sized me up, they looked away and walked right passed me. I was wearing leggings, a hoodie and no makeup. I&'m a little overweight and was alone. I am 35 and look young for my age. I was there with cash and ready to buy a couch right out. But not a single person approached me for over an hour or even spoke to me. Talk about judgmental and just plain prejudice. Lesson learned. I can wait on a couch and give my commission to someone who deserves it, AND spend my money on a couch that won&'t fall apart in 2 years.
Beautiful furniture but very pricey, online is cheaper than in store and customer service sucked, except for the gentleman at entrance, took our temps and was very friendly. The person who helped us not so friendly (Edmon, Hemid, or whatever his name was!)was just lookin to get his commission. Just followed us around, didn't converse with us, nor did he Thank us for stopping in on our way out of the store. Not prejudice or anything but when did Indiana take over Ashley Furniture?
I spent so much money on multiple furniture items online. The bed was delivered a couple of weeks ago but had missing items. I have been trying to get a hold of a service representative for several weeks and can't get a hold of anyone. I've called, emailed, used the automated system on their website, and messaged them on their social media. Someone has to be working, right?? They have a quality product with the worst service. At this point I would rather spend my money at Amazon.
We bought 2 sets of living room furniture and a sofa bed,after 3 months one of the livingroom sets the fabric is pealing, and breaking already a hole now, the insurance we also buy its says they don't cover this and just happend for used, Ashley wants us to buy a special tool for us to cut the ends, even do if we do its going to break even more. We expend a lot of money we want to be able to sit on our sofas not thinking that the material can just break for the normal used, this company Sucks, DONT buy from them, they dont take care of their costumers!!!!
My saleswoman Breanna was very nice and helpful. It was a great experience. They have such a great selection and great pricing. I purchased furniture for my new house on memorial day weekend so i got everything at 50% off!!! I couldn't believe it. I got a king sized stunning extra tall bed frame for $500!! One of the managers even gave my daughter a $25 gift card for being such a good girl in the store!!! She lived being able to pick out and "buy" her own items. The delivery guys were prompt, courteous and fast. I had a window of 10am-2:00pm and they were done by 10:30am. We will definitely be back.

Pressure selling and just overall shady business practices. Ended up ordering a couch from them online, the feet to the couch never came, every time we can to say send us the feet, they send one foot! And each time it takes 2 additional weeks to receive the one foot.... We're at 6 weeks and still can't use the couch
They were very helpful showing me all I wAs looking for but when it came to paying I had to come back twice instead of being able to purchase an extra piece I knew I wanted and had already discussed with the sales women I wanted to pay by c/c by phone and schedule the delivery via phone because I live about an hour away they would not do it even after using same c/c to order over $3000.00 worth of furniture the day before. So if I wanted that piece I had to take the hour drive each way to get it. So did not give 5 stars because of this.

Obligatory, if I could give negative stars, I would. Please, please, please....read this. Bought a couch. Transaction seamless. Once couch was delivered (20 minutes earlier than they said they would, luckily I was home), the delivery team did not ask how I wanted the couch positioned. They barely spoke english. Once they left, I moved the couch and realized that the couch had been scraped on the sidewalk down to the the fluff part of the armrest. Also, it was black with dirt. The delivery team put that side in the corner so that I couldn't see it!! They purposely hid the damage!! Anyway, I filed a claim within 5 minutes. I made an appt for them to come out and inspect the damage. I will spare you the details (which are actually unbelievable). Bottomline, they added an email address to my account that was my last name @yahoo.com I specifically said I didn't want to provide an email address because I didn't want spam and that I didn't want any additional emails. The salesperson laughed with me about that, and she agreed / understood. I could write a book here, but it won't get me anywhere. Be prepared for your item to arrive damaged, for the delivery team to accept your tip unethically, customer service to be subpar, for them to communicate via text then switch to email (a fake one that they added), zero follow-up, for them to cancel service appointments, etc etc. They have a very strict no-return policy. Once you sign for your item(s), it's yours...but nobody said that at any time. I wasn't expecting the non-english speaking delivery people to say that because they literally couldn't. Read the fine print!!!!! This place is a JOKE. Spend your money elsewhere. Oh, and when you call what you think is the local store.....NOPE!!...some sort of customer service call center and they clearly do not care.

Very little pressure, but the person who greeted me at the door was later available to talk. She knew about everything that was in the store without even looking at it—colors, sizes, etc. Impressive! Stephanie clearly enjoys her job. But everyone there was helpful and friendly. Because she knew what my 2nd choice was, and she knew that elsewhere in the store it was a different color, despite the fact that it was more expensive than my first choice it was my new first choice. She explained delivery costs, whom to call if there were issues, etc. I felt like a very important customer, all while spending less than $400.

I just purchased a bed from this store. Word of caution if you're assembling it yourself make sure you have all the hardware and that the furniture it in good standing. After all was said and done the hooks that attach the side rails and headboard and footboard were missing. Called and was told it would take 5-7 days to receive the hardware. Still haven't received. The headboard has a post which was put on crooked. Manufacturers fault not mine. I have to send in photos and an investigation will ensue. Really????? What is there to investigate? I couldn't damage it cause it came like that. Buy at your own risk.

(A few nights earlier we went to Sleep Number to try out their bed and we really liked it. We were sold on all of the great features but Rick wanted us to be sure due to the very large purchase. I agreed).We were immediately greeted by Rosalia Torres who whisked us to the back where the mattress section was. I explained that I was handicapped and spend most of my time in bed on my back due to multiple failed spinal surgeries. She then asked me what I liked so much about the other bed and I told her that I liked the comfort of the mattress and the way it hugged my body.I told her that I liked the Zero G, Snore and TV presets. I told her that I was a Techie and I like to control my bed with the app on my iphone. She then told us to follow her as she had a bed that did all of those things. She brought us to a Temperpedic Adapt Luxe Firm, She told us it did all of the things I was looking for and then proceeded to show us. She even folded Rick up like a sandwich to show the range of the bed. He jokingly told her "that was enough". She told me I could download the app on my phone as well. She then gave us the remote and we played with all of the features ourselves for about 20 minutes.We were sold, so she called in Bobby Baines, the sales manager. He came back with an initial price of around 10,000. We said no. He then called Rick over and showed him the new numbers. We said we would think about it and asked if he could print out the numbers. He told us he wasn't able to but we could take a picture of the screen. He said to give him another second to see what he could do to make it cheaper. Then he said he would knock 1319.99 off of the base. We thought that was a great discount and said "sold"Monday, as soon as they set up, David handed me the remote. I asked him where the other remote was because this was not the remote we played with in the store. He said that is the remote that comes with the base that we got. I grabbed my receipt and checked the item numbers against each other and they matched. I knew there was some sort of mix up as this was not the base we thought we bought. We were sold the Temperpedic Mattress and the Temperpedic Base. I received the Temperpedic Mattress but a basic adjustable Ashley base with none of the features that made us purchase this system from Ashley. It didn't even fold up like the other one. Very little range. I was/am disgusted.We did not get the bed we were sold. I reached out to Adrian in Customer Service and I asked to speak to the store manager Sohel and she said he was busy but she would have him call me back. I then asked to speak to Rosalia. She remembered me immediately. I told her that I was extremely upset at this mistake and this is not the bed she sold me! I told her it doesn't have any of the features that the one in the store had. She told me that I can manually program the bed? THIS IS NOT THE BED WE WERE SOLD!THIS WAS A BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM!We bought the top of the line Temperpedic System, not a downgraded Ashley system!Tuesday I contacted Ashley Furniture Industries Corporate Offices and asked to speak to senior management. After holding for over an hour, I was transferred to Debbie who introduced herself as a manager. I explained my situation, She said that she was reaching out to the store manage Sohel and that she promised to get back to me by the end off the day.Nothing.Wednesday I called corporate again, was told that Debbie was off for the day, another day without a return phone call from the store manager.One more call to the original store of purchase and 40 minutes on hold gave me Bobby Bains. He acted like he vaguely remembered us and when I explained why I was so upset, he said that if I wanted to have the original base we picked out, he would send someone to pick it up and I could go in and pay the difference and get the other one. I then explained to him that we were not given what we were sold and he told me that he gave us another base that I happened to walk by and a light turned on underneath it. I don't know how we ended up with a totally different base then what we were sold.Thursday morning, I spoke to Alaina. I sent her copies of the receipt showing what we originally thought we were getting and photos of what we got, not to mention an entire timeline. BTW, still no store manager return phone call but the sales manager who did this whole deal, said that he needs another day (5 total) to speak to the sales person (Rosalia Torres), the store manager (Sohel), who never seems to be available and himself together to figure out how to solve this problem.Nobody runs this company!Corporate says it is up to the original store manager. Nothing resolved.We were scammed.

We purchased a beautiful kitchen set from the Oxnard store. We loved it so much we called to order 2 additional chairs. The sales people we spoke with said we could not order the chairs over the phone. I found that a surprise considering I had used a credit card that was still on file. I called back a third time very frustrated until the receptionist transferred me to Darla Wellman. Darla was amazing. She was extremely helpful and personable. The order was taken and my credit card was charged. No problem. I hope you know how lucky you are to have such a terrific employee. It is a pleasure to work with someone so accommodating and so professional. Thanks to Darla I will continue to shop at Ashley's in Oxnard. Oxnard may be a far drive for some, but if you work with Darla it is worth the drive.

I bought a lift chair on Dec 4 two days later it didnt work. I called someone could come out on the 27 , they did and he couldn't fix it. Had to order parts the part came in today JANUARY 9 and guess what it doesn't work now we have to wait till the 21 of January for someone to come out again, and I'm sure we will have to wait for another part. Why since the chair was brand new didnt they just exchange it my husband needs that lift chair he has parkinson and ilt helps him stand up. Ashley does not help there customers we have gotten nothing but the run around if you have to buy something go to Bob's or any place but Ashley I will never shop there again

They sold a set of furniture with a warranty to an elderly woman. It was infesred with mites. They refused to replace the furniture, even though she had a warranty and the mites are from their furniture- verified by a doctor and a pest control company.
Shame on Ashley Furniture! My friend's elderly mother bought a living room set and recliner, but got a whole lot more than she bargained for. She also has a severely disabled brother, who cannot sleep in a bed due to his physical disabilities, so her mother (his caretaker) sleeps in the recliner most nights to be with him. After sitting/sleeping in the chair for approximately a week she was covered in red welts and bites. Thinking she was having an allergic reaction she went to the doctor, who informed her that she was covered in bed bug bites, mite bites, or flea bites. So she then contacted a post control company who checked her brand new furniture and concluded that it was mites. It would cost more to fumigate the furniture than to buy new! So, she immediately contacted Ashley to inform them of the situation. They did not deny that there might be a problem, and said they would "get back to her." Three days later.... nothing. So she called again, and again... nothing. So she called again,... nothing. Ashley furniture advertises that they use recycled materials in their furniture. It's obvious now that the material they used to make her mother's recliner, and possibly the couch too were infested with Mites. When she finally did receive e a call back, after demanding that they replace the recliner, they refused. Her mother had bought a warranty on the furniture and again asked that it be replaced. Ashley furniture's final statement on the situation was that they will not replace the furniture and that her warranty does not cover bug problems. I find it intolerable that this can happen! I will never buy furniture from Ashley again, and I would appreciate it if all my friends would share this message to advise others of the problem she encountered. No one deserves to buy bug infested furniture. The fact that my senior mother and mentally and physically disabled brother were taken advantage of in this way should not be acceptable to anyone, and I sincerely hope that someone at Ashley furniture see this post. She bought the furniture at the Oxnard, CA store.

What a fraud. I had a $100 gift card, read the back of it to see restrictions, noticed that I couldn't use it on "promotional" items. Okay, fine. I finally found an end table for $99. Anyway, the helpful girl in the showroom helped me ring it up. But she had to call her manager to approve the transaction. The guy came out and flipped the gift card over and began reading it out loud like I didn't or couldn't have read it myself. Then, he said, "You can't buy this because it's a 'manager's special,' and also, you must buy at least $300 worth to use the card." THAT WAS NOT STATED IN THE BACK OF THE CARD, MR. LIAR!! I had enough respect for the girl helping me and she was standing right there, so I held my tongue to not swear at this jerk of a manager. I just said, "Keep the card then!" and walked out. What a crock.

We met a GREAT salesman named Johnny a few months ago and went back to him when our daughter want to buy a new bedroom. She got her bedroom set with everything she saw. Johnny gave her a GREAT deal and we are moving right now but, I will be back to get a living room set once we get settled.
I purchased a Temper Pedic mattress at this store recently. I was not sure which model/firmness I would be comfortable with. I was told by Amber that while the store could not exchange the mattress after a trial period (90 days) they would walk us through the process with Temper Pedic to exchange it if necessary. The mattress turned out to be too firm. Ashley Store Manager Leigh denied ever telling us we could exchange it and in checking with Temper Pedic directly, I was told their return/exchange policy only applies to direct purchase through them which Ashley should have known! So...we are out $5000 and stuck with a mattress that is not comfortable.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE....WE WERE LIED TO AND THEY WOULD NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORD!! A law suit might be coming!!

WARNING!!! Do not buy from the Oxanrd store. Horrible customer service, delivery dates change multiple times. MANAGER Sohel, horrible, does not respect customers. You will be the blame for items being late eventhough Sohel commits to delivery dates. Do not agree to partial deliveries, you will have no say on when other items will arrive, your out of luck and you will not get your money back. In my case I waited for 3 week for items to be deliver and only one item got delivered, Sohel asked me to wait another 1.5 weeks. Shop somewhere else, stay away from Sohel and Ashley furniture.
Customer service at the store and actually receiving the delivery of your items are 2 completely different experiences. Problems start after you make the payment. Late/damaged items, inconvenience of calling and being on hold to report the problem and try to reschedule the delivery. Frustrating ...
After a good experience in the showroom, delivery took over a month. The recliners we ordered looked great, but we didn't notice the poor quality of the hallway and end tables until after signing for the order. After what amounted to hours on hold during several phone calls, they no-showed to pick up our return and rescheduled for a date we never confirmed. I had to dismantle the items, load my compact with the pieces, and return it myself or wait another week. Ashley refunded part of the delivery fee and offered us $100 in-store credit. I took the former and declined the latter. Why would I ever go back?

I went into Ashleys Homestore to look for couches, i found the ones i was looking for and made a purchase with Carlos Torres who by the ways was really nice, patient and helpful. The couches were delivered about four days after purchase, but as soon as they were installed i had an issue with them. I went into the store to speak to the manager Sohel Rana to get my issue resolved, he was super helpful as well, really nice customer service and best thing of all, my problem was solved, i was so happy with the treatment that i walked out of there with a new purchase of a bed frame and two side tables. If I could give no stars I would. Their customer service is not to good with communication. Repair after repair on our $2500 sofa set. If I knew what I know about the quality of thier furniture, I would have given my business else where.

We ordered a dining room table and they said it would be delivered on October 5th but it never came. When I called to ask them what's going on they said it was on back order and it wouldn't be delivered for another 2 weeks! I wouldn't have been upset about waiting another 2 weeks, however, they didn't even call to let us know that it wasn't going to come and we wasted a day waiting around. There's no communication and I find it hard to believe that the store didn't know it was on back order when we ordered it. Still debating about whether to cancel the order but I definitely will not be purchasing anymore items from here since this is the way they operate.
I'm done with this place! My wife and I bought a new livingroom set and a dining set 3 years ago. Everything was fine. Nice furniture, smooth delivery. This year, we bought a new home and bought a bedroom set. Delivery was 3-4 weeks out from the time of purchase, this was not ideal, but we decided to deal with it. The day of scheduled delivery we were on the phone with the delivery drivers for AN HOUR AND A HALF talking them through finding our house (which is right on a main hwy). They were supposed to deliver a bed, 2 night stands and a bunky board (to replace our box spring). Well, they forgot the bunky board (which was in stock at the time of purchase). The delivery guys took pictures of what they brought to prove that an item was missing. But when we called customer service they said that they had the item as being delivered. It took over a week for them to get their act together and reschedule delivery. We now have a new delivery date that they didn't check with us before hand and plan to be out of town by the afternoon and won't promise us an AM delivery. Plus, my wife asked for the $149 delivery fee waived for the inconvenience and all they are willing to do for us is a $100 gift card. First, I am over a month removed from placing my order and don't have it all yet (and have been sleeping super high up in the air on my new bed+ old box springs + mattress.. which is why the bunky board is NEEDED ASAP). Second, why would I want a gift card from you when you already proved incapable of providing sufficient service? My suggestion is that if you want furniture next year, go ahead and order from Ashley... but if you want it in an efficient manner try ANYWHERE else.

After I asked, I felt a lot of tension and they were rude about it. They wanted me to show them and they said I could just buy it online at that price. I dont like scams, marking something overpriced and then putting a sale tag on it isnt a sale. I found another company and everything matched from the website to the store and I felt like I wasn't getting scammed. I hope this helps you on your decision. At one point I left a 5 star review for this store, now I won't be going back. Our sales associate MD was polite and found what I needed. I was ready to buy a new table with chairs and a bench! I was told today was the last day of their Labor day sale and everything was 40% off. That's when the manager (I didn't catch his name) walked over and informed me that in fact this was not included in the Labor day sale. That they actually wasted an hour of my time. How disappointed I was to inform my mother and grandmother that we were leaving empty handed since I was mislead. Oh well Reeds furniture here I come! I hate writing bad reviews but this left a bad taste in my mouth.
My wife and I had such a great experience at this store. We were immediately greeted at the door and pointed to the direction for leather reclining sofas that we were in the market for. After a few minutes, we were helped by Johnny. We appreciated his knowledge and guidance with the different fabrics and options available. He showed us all the different styles, answered our questions, and also gave us the space we needed to discuss things ourselves. The pricing was very competitive, and was made even more so by Sohel, the manager. He was very nice and listened to our needs and concerns. After we decided to move forward with the purchase, Johnny set up a delivery date for two days later! The delivery was within the beginning hour of the window they had given us, and the delivery personnel were very professional and prompt, and even gave us text message updates of when they would be coming. All in all, a 5-Star experience from start to finish. Make sure you give them a chance, and say hello to Johnny and Sohel.

She supported us by being available for any questions, but also gave us the space we needed to talk about the numbers (we were there for over two hours browsing their large inventory). Best of all, Sohel ( the manager) worked with us to fit our budget. He was honest, compassionate, and extremely professional! No pressure conversation, and extremely respectful! There simply is no better deal out there for furniture than Ashley’s, take from someone who does his homework. No one was helpful. Asked for the price of a discounted rug and the guy was rushing but not helping anyone and just said its regular price when it clearly had a slash on the price and it was on the discounted rack but ok.
The online site was a bit confusing because it was showing me the item I wanted to purchase but it was not allowing me to add it to the shopping cart? I called customer service and the associate saw the item I wanted but said she could not help me make the purchase online, so essentially that was no help at all? Today I went into the store and I was finally able to purchase what I wanted, and all associates involved were helpful.

i purchased a sofa, chair and 1/2 and a ottoman. the sofa had a broken left arm, with a huge crushed in area, and the store said it was not under warranty. the man who came to look it over said if he tried to repair that it would then be an inferior product, to request a new sofa. i did this and they said "i had cancelled the warranty because i did not want the repair?" they send a guy to your home and he tears apart the sofa and repairs it in your home. ? however he said it would not look very nice once he did this. the sofa was new? i spoke to some friends who have a furniture store and state ashley furniture had the worst made furniture of all stores! wish i had spoken to them before i purchased this set. it is crushing down at the end of two weeks, internal makings not too good.
We had an awesome experience at Ashley furniture in Oxnard, Ca. We had been to another big chain furniture dealer (Bob's Discount Furniture 👎) who failed miserably at customer service. Katherina, our sales associate at Ashley, was awesome. She got everything right the first time and our furniture was scheduled for delivery. The prices were unbeatable and we got a refund fromt the other place, Bob's.

Sales experience is awesome, post sales is awful. I have issues with a table (the top is uneven after 2 weeks and this is clearly a defect), some screws are falling from the chairs. Called once said they would call back, nothing happened. Went to the store, asked for service, said they would call back, nothing happened. It's been several weeks and I still haven't got any service. I have to call AGAIN to have someone come and fix my furniture. Will not buy there again.

Sales Associate Darla greeted my husband and I as soon as we walked in. She showed us the particular furniture we were interested in purchasing. She did not hover over us or pressure us into buying. Once we made our decision, she showed us the purchase order on her computer, verified the purchase and service agreement amounts, corrected in errors, confirmed our delivery date and provided a receipt and copies of all invoices signed. We purchased our furniture at 50% off thanks to her informing us of the 2-day sale and we were in and out in no time. A very good buying experience. We informed her manager Sohel of our positive experience.
Do not buy any couches from Ashley. The furniture is cheaply made and they do not back the guarantee. We bought a couch 6 months ago and now have to put boards under the cushions for any support. The cushions are lumpy, one is firm the rest are useless if you sit on them you go start to the frame. Image isn't great but you get the idea. We had a tech come out and they refuse to fix. They are a horrible company.

I feel ripped off for the amount of money I paid I should've bought a less expensive couch If it was going to be this quality. Do not buy furniture from this low rent cheaply made horrible furniture we bought one of the top of line products and see above comments we now have to add boards under the cushion since they have no support. Customer service is horrible they do not honor their commitment. Go anywhere but here.

Don't go here unless you enjoy being stalked by a sales rep around the store. Stopping to talk about a piece is a sign of weakness to these folks. They will pounce, subjecting you to inane ramblings about the inevitable "sale" that's advertised in every nook and corner. I particularly hated having the price tags in front of my eyes read out to me at every stop. Since I couldn't think or speak to my partner without being interrupted, we left.

Great overall experience with them. I feel like we got a really good deal and our sales rep (Jessie) was very helpful. I am giving them four stars instead of five because there was a mix up somehow on their end and they said that a peice of our couch was on back order but then the guys came with everything. So it was good but there was obvious miss communication somewhere. It happens.
Bennie the salesperson was helpful without being suffocating. He helped us understand key information on all the love seats we looked at. He then made certain we were taken care of after the sale. True professional. Would recommend him to anyone.
I purchased a couch and a dresser. I worked with Katherina and she was amazing. Friendly and helpful. The only downfall was that the waiting was unacceptable. I was paying cash, not credit. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and I waited two hours. A manager has to come and complete your order apparently he gives the final okay. Since the price was different than it was only 5 days prior, thank goodness I took a picture, they had to make an adjustment. When our sales rep called for a manager , they messed up the discount and I had to wait even longer for somone else to come. Disappointed I had to wait so long. Be prepared.

The experience I had at Ashley HomeStore was quite amazing. My girlfriend and I just got my first apartment and the entire crew did what they could to help me save as much money and get the best furniture. As a broke graduate student I really appreciated that gesture. At the end of the day I walked away with a great living room set that should last me to my first house (I hope ;D). I want to thank Henry, Allen, and Abel for being such great sales consultants. They took their time to give advice on color schemes, matching decor, and personal opinions on our choices. sales clerk asked me what date "did i want delivery" of my just purchased sofa and ottoman. i told her the date and stated how perfect the date of delivery would be. i noticed a different date on the paperwork but when i inquired that was the wrong date they told me that would be a back up date? i let it slide and then ordered a chair and a half to go with the sofa requesting that same date of delivery. the chair was delivered but the sofa and ottoman was not delivered. i am going on vacation and the date promised was "perfect". why the sales person did this to me is beyond me. obviously they were delivering in my area on the promised date, but i did not receive all my furniture. very disappointed
The furniture is beautiful and comfortable. The delivery guys arrived as scheduled and frankly, made the quickest delivery of packaged goods I've literally ever seen, it was insane. They didn't damage anything, they unpacked things and assembled some really, really quickly. I was very impressed.

The salesperson was very helpful, not pushy. I described what I was looking for. She showed me only items that fit the description. She went the extra mile and had the manager throw in fabric protection on the sofa. Prices were very good. I’m just a little disappointed that I have to wait two weeks for delivery because the sofa is out of stock. Otherwise it was an easy and efficient transaction. I’m paying the balance interest-free over 12 months which is a bonus!
We had an overall awesome experience. Temogen was friendly, patient, diligent and very helpful when it came to looking for a sectional and adding wall art later when it came to questions, pricing, and options. Our sales person (Able) was very easy to work with and the showroom is great. Only gave four stars because they didn't have a large selection of Earth tone sectionals (what we were looking for) and no options for material type and color. We did end up finding a sofa/loveseat pair, and the price was right.

I wish I could give this location zero stars. It was actually the most horrific experience ever. The salesman, Art, was annoying with the things he said and seemed like he didn’t know his right hand from his left. They were acting like they were doing us a favor by honoring the ONLINE prices. I could go online and buy what I was trying to purchase for much less. All I was asking for was for them to match their online price, nothing special. The manager of the location was also incredibly rude, pushy, and kind of offensive. We ended up leaving the store out of frustration and bought with a different Ashley store.

We had the best experience at Ashley HomeStore in Oxnard, CA. We needed a living room and bedroom set but had no clue what we were looking for. Linda was super helpful and patient. She gave my husband and I space to talk when we needed it and made non stop suggestions when asked! She helped us find everything we wanted and more at an amazing price !

Located in a small strip mall off the 101 freeway, (Rose or Rice exit) near Costco and the Oxnard Auto Dealers. This place is enormous with a huge selection and Ashley prides themselves on offering complete furniture packages for discounted prices. The lady who helped my wife and I was Sheri and she was very helpful and patient. We purchased an oversized recliner to replace an older one in our house. One thing they are good about doing as I am sure it is common practice with shoppers today is matching online prices. Amazon sells a good amount of their furniture, (exact same pieces) on line. The store was offering a 35% holiday discount and Amazon still came in cheaper by a tad; they honoured the Amazon price without any hesitation. I think the quality of their furniture for the money is good, why pay thousands of dollars and you absolutely can in you go to the more upscale places. I think their business model is good, sell decent furniture for a reasonable price. I am happy with my experience; chair is being delivered, we will see how it hols up.
I have been extremely disappointed with this company when it comes to repairing the furniture for which I purchased a 5 year protection plan. The 3rd party company they hire to do this work is terrible. We have been dealing with Guardsman and they denied our claim. They have no problem selling you the protection plan when you buy from Ashley. But when it comes to repairing it, they are missing in action. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money on the protection plan which they will never honor. Ashley does not stand behind their products and is terrible at customer service. I spent probably $20,000 with this company.

Drove here all the way from Lompoc. I spoke with Jesse on the phone. He was polite and professional from the beginning. I arrived trying to work directly with him. Although he was busy with other customers, he introduced my husband and I to Mark. Mark was also extremely professional and knowledgeable. He answered every question, we had but was not overbearing, more of a coach along the way. All of this combined with the willingness to work with us to help us find a price and time frame of delivery that would work for everyone made this the best experience I've had shopping at an Ashley store. Hopefully, I will never have to deal with the Corporate office if all the reviews are true. That's a shame they are only interested in profit and not customer service. That was not the case with our salesman, Benny Carrasco, who was wonderful. He never pressured us. He told us what was well made and what might not hold up under excessive usage. He worked with the store manager to give us the best discount available. We are very excited about our new furniture and if everything stands up to the "living" test we plan on going back when we are ready to furnish our family room.

Went for the Memorial Day sale with a friend. He bought over $3,200 in furniture with a 30% discount because of the holiday. I saw a sofa I liked and went back the next day to buy it, 30% discount. I had looked up other discounts but they couldn't be used with the 30% --HOWEVER-- I looked the sofa up online while in the store and discovered it was much cheaper on Ashley's online site. When I brought it to the attention of the sales person they told me Ashley will price match. Sofa in store was $1,000, $700 with 30% discount, $560 online. I bought the sofa for $560 in the store with the price match and went home and called my friend. He went back in and got a $700 refund with price match. Best Buy advertises their price match policy-- Ashley Furniture hopes you won't discover it.

The customer service my wife and I received was phenomenal!!! Bri M. was so patient during our 3.5 hr walk around and around, decision and re-decision haha. Her knowledge of bedroom and living room style was exceptional. The looks of your furniture is great. however, what makes your company a 1 star is that your policy is awful. once you are given all the bells and whistles and great customer service at the store level and get the furniture in your home - if you have any issues or defects on the items - your customer service policy/procedure is the worst!!! do not purchase anything that has electronics. i have had a media seat sofa broken longer than i've had it. i have had a service technician out three times and because of the frustration and not being able to use the product i am told i cannot even return it. that is shamful.
If i could give zero stars I would. Before you go to buy in store. . . Check online, the prices are less than half of the in-store price. they stated my delivery would be here within a week and then they called me the next day after I had purchased and said it would be over a month. I had to cancel my order because I had new couch at that point in the manager was unhelpful and didnt have any solution for the problem.
Sales team was decent the only annoying thing about that is being stalked around the store while trying to shop but the delivery system is terrible! We told the sales man that we lived on a military base and they must have their id, registration and insurance to come onto base so he put that in the computer to notify the people delivering. We were the last delivery and literally 20 minutes before our delivery time we got a called telling us they were not prepared to deliver on base that day even though in the paper work to the warehouse it was stated multiple times I mean do your drivers not drive with their ids or proof of insurance? It was delivered the next day which meant my husband had to take 2 days off work to be home and we were told we would be compensated with a gift card by 2 different people we have still yet to receive that. The only thing we got was $100 off if we spend another $500! Yeah no thanks.

This experience has been absolutely horrible. If I could give negative stars I would. I purchased furniture on March 7th..it is now April 12th I was supposed to have my furniture finally delivered tomorrow. They wait until the last minute (today) to tell me that they don’t have my living room furniture in stock and that I should not expect my furniture until May 1st. I am hosting my in-laws for Easter and now have no furniture. We just bought our house and this was supposed to be our house warming party and I will not have a living room because of them. What’s worse is the manager (Sohel) has the audacity to say that for my inconvenience he will give me a $100 gift card. I’m beyond insulted and absolutely furious with this customer service. I would never buy from this company again.

And to be even better Sohel her manager made it better by making a discount on the insurance so could cover any damages for 5 years! I got my beautiful solid wood bedroom furniture here and i LOVE IT as well as my mattress and i got an amazing zero interest deal. Just bought a couch that is being delivered today and it was a surprise sale of 50% off! $700 couch for $350. Watch out for sales because you can snag an amazing deal. Staff is friendly too and easy to work with.

He is so knowledgeable, friendly, a down to earth man who doesn't pressure you into buying anything you don't need. Bought an expensive three piece sofa last June here. The frame became damaged on the inside somehow. I'd found out looking for a remote which is easy to fall in between the couch cushions. Unlike last week and prior remote couch searches, this time a hanging piece of wood with a nail sticking out was there. I had to call three numbers twice = 6 calls to get Ashley to setup a technician visit for the warranty they had fought so hard to sell me. So other than the horrible service, the couch is falling apart!

I wouldn't recommend buying from this store if you are looking for good quality furniture. I just got my bedroom set delivered, 2 of my nightstand were broken (they made sure to replace that order) , there's also a small crack on my dresser which nothing has been done about it as of right now. There's also small chips and scratches all around the furniture. You can automatically tell the furniture is very cheap & not good quality at all. On the other hand, the sellers in store are extremely nice. I worked with Peter to find the perfect bedroom set and he was awesome! 10/10.

Yikes. I'm not typically the type to review but this was a new experience for me. My girlfriend and I recently purchased a home in Oxnard and with a budget of $5000 we were ready to start to furnish our home. I'm originally from the area, and my parents had used Ashley before and had a good experience. Excited and ready to start buying we approached the store and I spotted a small bench/sofa table that I thought would look perfect in my entryway. Curiously, it was tucked behind a sectional and could really only be seen from the outside. After seeing it I noted to my girlfriend, "I'm going to buy that table. " Little did I know I wouldn't get the chance. We walked in and were handed promotional sheet and told if we needed anything to let them know. We walked over the the table eager to get our shopping spree started, and noticed another family looking at the sectional that eclipsed the table. We waited a few minutes for them to clear and asked an employee if we could look at the table a little closer. She walked with us over to the sectional/table in question and after I stated, "that one over there" she informed me that taking a closer look would be "impossible" because of where it positioned. Perplexed by a sales associate using the word "impossible" in regards to problem with a simple solution I followed with, "what if I wanted to purchase the piece" to which I was meet with the same resistance. "Well you can't take it. . . when you buy something it gets delivered to your home. " A little off put that I couldn't see the piece of furniture I wanted to purchase I asked again, "I just want to see if up close" ya know not pinned against a window by a giant sofa. I guess third time's a charm because this time instead of telling me I can't see it, she recommended that my girlfriend and I go outside to get a better view. . . I don't have a degree in business but I'm fairly certain sending people outside of the store isn't a good strategy for sales, because we took the sales associates advice and walked out of the store directly to our car and then to another business.
Really disappointed with the customer service. At first it was going great with a guy helping us choose a mattress named Abel but then he switched off with Yolanda Ocampo and she wouldn't even let me breathe trying to get me to buy everything in the store! And i told my dad that was with me that im not really feeling the beds she was offering me and my dad gives me advice and she pretty much butts in telling my dad to pretty much shut the F up and let me buy and that was just horrible. First time walking into that store and probably will be the last!

We went in looking to purchase a mattress and to just look at couches. We were greeted by Temogen upon walking in. He was so helpful and we actually had a great time testing mattresses and he spent a lot of time showing us the huge inventory of sectionals they have. The have something for everyone. When it comes time to buy a couch or other furniture we will definitely go back and ask for Temogen. He was great!

Garbage company that doesn't stand behind their product. Furniture has been falling apart since the day it was delivered. Pillows on sofa stuffed with loose batting (photo attached) and are lumpy, down accent pillows loosing their feathers, seat cushions cave. Ashley's purchase agreement includes a clause that states "no returns". Do yourself a favor and purchase elswhere.
The sales person we had was awesome he let us walk The showroom without him, finding what we loved!! When we picked the awesome bedroom set we just let the greater know and they found him for us in seconds. We talked with him about options he was honest and helpful and worked a great deal for us. We walked out feeling great. We are now excited to receive our total new room in two weeks !!! They are assembling and placing everything for us. So wonderful.
If you are expecting a refund from this company, be prepared to be disappointed. They take your money fast enough, but since we returned one piece of furniture in December, we have yet to get our refund. They do not respond to emails. When you call you're put on hold for hours. They promise to look into it and get back to you but they do not. They transfer you from one department to the next with 20 minute hold times for each transfer. We bought 2 pieces of furniture with them, and they took the money fast enough. One of the pieces was too big and we had it taken back by the delivery driver who gave us a receipt for our return. This company is unethical and only concerned about getting your money. If you ever need customer service for anything, you're going to be left high and dry. Extremely disappointed in the lack of concern or helpfulness. They might as well resort to robbing banks but I guess it's legal to rob consumers.

My daughter purchased a mattress and box spring from Ashley Furniture in Oxnard about 3 years ago. Soon after she had the Sealy mattress, she noticed that it wasn't performing well. She didn't want to go through the hassle of a return so she ignored it. To make a long story short, she decided to have it replaced which was a process. Ashley Furniture gave her a store credit for the full price of the mattress only and didn't prorate it. She was dreading going into the store and dealing with salespeople but reluctantly went in. An older gentleman named Alan helped her and gave her the most incredible deal which enabled her to not only replace the mattress, but also get two of the best pillows on the face of this earth, not kidding folks, Cool-Tech Advanced Pillow, you got to get one! Alan was more than helpful and has restored her faith and mine in salespeople!

Very poor quality of furniture. After 3 months of purchasing a end table and coffee table the edge of the coffee table veneer started to peel. I spoke and send pictures of the default and they had the nerve to say we did it and it was not covered. I went through the extended warranty I purchased to protect myself. They sent out a man who confirmed it was a defect. After several calls they agreed to replace the table instead of repairing it. (This process has been going on now for over 3 months with me having to keep calling customer service) Now here is where you get screwed the table I purchased is now discontinued which means I have a store credit to look for another one at the store. Are you kidding me so many of their items gets discontinued even furniture on the floor. How am I going to replace the table and have it match the end table? "impossible" Ashley does not stand by there product once you make the purchase they want nothing more to do with you and blame you for a manufacture defect. I am so not happy right now and will never walk into a Ashley Furniture Store again. I did read the reviews before buying and that was why I purchased the extended warranty shame on me I though bad reviews was just an isolated incident shame on me I made and very expensive mistake. But I learned a valuable lesson.

Over the last couple years I have had a handful of different experiences with Ashley Furniture, including their corporate office, and I have always been disappointed and had received terrible customer service. I had a mattress credit I needed to spend and I almost decided to waste the credit because I was dreading having to go in the store. As soon as I walked in Alan greeted me and I immediately felt a sense of relief. He made the whole transaction easy and got me an awesome deal! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and laid-back. He didn't try to upsell me on anything, he understood what I was looking for and focused on that, which I really appreciated. The 5 star rating is solely based on his service, Ashley Furniture is lucky to have him.
Just want to thank Ashley furniture for their great deferred interest program. We had bought over $6000 worth of furniture in 2017. We were told that if a certain payment amount was made. Then the furniture could be paid off with no interest. So forward to 2019 and I discovered that we need to pay $1500 in two months or we will owe $1700 more in interest. Thanks to the lying salesman. We need to fork over $1500 now. Instead of paying a lower amount over the years. Also very nice of them to place a small print on their billing statement " if you only pay the total minimum due it May not pay off the promotional purchase by the expiration date . " What a scam. Not a good business. Never again
Went back in to look around and ask a few questions I had ,and got great customer service from terry and the answers I needed.

Worst customer service experience at this store. I was ready to purchase a sofa and I was cross checking the price quoted by the sales man on their own website. He was rude and would not answer my questions. When confronted why the online price was so much cheaper, he walked away telling me to order online then. Extremely rude and unhelpful. Don't go into this store, they think customers are dumb and don't know about their practices. Not worth your time.
UPDATE 1/2/2024 As you can see, the "owner" responded to my review in hopes I would change my review. Sent me an email to get in contact with so they could help me with our situation. I emailed and no response at all. They are just trying to save face by looking like they care about their customers. All they want is your money. Don't shop here, this company is bad for business. If I could rate them 0 stars I would. They should be investigated by the BBB. Original Post: Never shopping here again. Made mistake and ordered wrong size bar stools. Bar stools did not fit. Contacted Ashley furniture and they did not want to help me one bit. We wanted to exchange these for other ones that were shorter but they said tough luck nothing they can do. They will not let us return them or exchange them. I've never heard of a store that does not have a return or exchange policy. Looks like BBB needs to know about these terrible practices and policies
We could not be happier with our recent purchase. The sales person was very helpful, courteous and informative. We're very pleased with the quality of the product. A very pleasant and satisfying experience.
