We recently purchased bedroom furniture from Ashley Furniture. The salesperson, Brenda, was wonderful. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products and promotions. The entire process was great. We’re now awaiting delivery.

Love the couch, but did not receive my chair after we were told everything was in stock, have to wait an additional 2-3 weeks to receive. Not happy about the delay.

Juan Rojo was such a personable salesperson. He was so considerate, allowing me to shop without an overbearing attitude. When I had decided to make my purchase I returned and asked for him….he will be my go to salesman in the future!

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally complain about my experience with Ashley Furniture, which has been unacceptable from start to finish. I purchased a large furniture order three weeks before Christmas 2025 and was promised delivery on December 21, 2025. After staying home from work and receiving repeated confirmations, I was informed the night before delivery that my furniture was not built. Multiple rescheduled deliveries followed, most of which were incomplete. I received damaged items, missing items, and unfinished furniture. Most concerning, the dining room chairs were unsafe and improperly assembled, nearly causing me serious injury. Several chairs had loose or missing support bars. A technician was sent without parts, repairs were delayed for weeks, and scheduled service appointments were either missed or falsely marked as completed. Customer service has been inconsistent, misleading, and unhelpful. I have lost time from work, dealt with unsafe furniture in my home, and endured weeks of unnecessary delays after spending a significant amount of money. I am requesting immediate resolution, either: • Fully assembled, safe replacement dining chairs, or • A full refund for the dining room set with removal of the defective furniture Please respond promptly. I bought a simple chair.they told I needed it as soon as possible. The Salesman told me it was good in stock and could be delivered by Saturday. I said ok ..readjusted my schedule so someone would be there. I received a call from customer service notifying me it was go to be extra week.VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE.

Kevin from Randal’s Plumbing is excellent. I’ve used him multiple times now, and he gets it right every time. He’s professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. Kevin quickly diagnoses the issue, explains everything clearly, and completes the work efficiently and cleanly. His attention to detail and pride in his work really stand out. It’s such a relief to have a plumber you can truly trust. I highly recommend Kevin and Randal’s Plumbing and will absolutely continue using them.

Promised a certain delivery date, but had a person who could not speak English, call and say it won’t be delivered on requested date but would arrive by end of year. It’s now scheduled for 1/3/26! Unhappy!!!

I ordered and paid cash for a double recliner nearly a month ago . Delivery has been delayed three times . Each time ,I had to contact ' customer service' as they made no attempt to reach me . I have arranged my schedule to accommodate their delivery times . Now ,it is to be delivered on the 2 nd of January. I have serious doubts about that. Obviously there is no interest in accommodating the customer ,only the company's convince. As I stated,no contact has been made by the company . Poor management ,at least !

The variety of choices is outstanding we were handled by Becky who took her time and showed us a variety of items. When we finally chose our selection the pricing and terms were also like everything else outstanding. No need to shop elsewhere.

We had a very good experience with our salesman but he should have passed us to someone else because he was very busy. He eventually helped us and purchased a couch and chair. We were getting a doorstep delivery on Dec 11. We never got an email or call as the date got closer. Finally the day before delivery we called the store and the Ashley associate told us that we would be contacted in the morning with a time of delivery. Well the truck showed up at 9:45am and we were not prepared at all! We got no call. No email. No heads up! They brought the boxed items to the patio and said they had to go. We were told when we purchased that we would be able to open the box and inspect the product for damages. He let us look quickly at a couple of areas that the box was crushed but then made me sign off. If there had been damage he would not have put the product back on the truck. All of this was a bit no very stressful. Communication was not clear. We were given no heads up on delivery time. No way to return the items to the truck if there had been damage. Not the best experience.

Was in the market for a leather love seat. We had purchased one many years ago and overall were pretty happy with the unit and the service. The first time this year checking for a new one, it appeared the prices at Ashley were higher than local competition. Tried once more before heading across the valley. Talked to Daniel and he showed us a leather love seat that was power and was a better price and style that we had been looking seen at the competition and they weren't powered. Just received delivery. Ramon and his assistant were great, taking care in bringing it in and the setup.

Excellent customer support

The shopping experience with Ashley was top notch! First of all, staff did not follow you around the store which seems typically nowadays in furniture stores which is refreshing. Our salesperson was available when needed and was very helpful and not pushy at all. We actually left and came back to buy there and made sure we contacted our original salesperson so he could get credit for a job well done. He was able to get us great pricing on our items and scheduling delivery was easy. The delivery process was outstanding as well. From the notifications and real time updates as to where your driver is, Ashley really does it right. Our delivery team was on time and were friendly, fast, and courteous. I wish all businesses used their methods! I would highly recommend buying from Ashley and we will do so again when we have the need.

Let me share the experience, on-line and a call to the store. Today, I found online a sofa advertised. I tried to call the store and virtual assistant took more time that having a live body answer the call. Just wanted to know if in stock and if I could pick it up. "No, it has to be delivered." Ok, so back to ordering online. I entered the credit card information 4 times still not knowing if there is an order. Multiple conversations with chat, not fond of. Chat wastes my time and the organization wants a record that you clearly type for THEM. Default selections are a spray on coating at $159, then you have to search to remove. Next item, charge you $99 to deliver, and you have to click that off too. Deliver to the door, not INSIDE. When purchased off the website shows delivery in 7 days, after purchase item is schedule over 2 weeks out. Another call in futility. Regardless of sale, the truth in advertising does not apply here. If I had more time, I would have gone elsewhere. Won't shop Ashley again, too many stumbling blocks, and not consumer friendly. 12-9: almost 2 weeks have passed. An email was sent when the response was posted. Still CRICKETS. I sent another email today, and perhaps ashley will respond. I don't understand if the website states one thing and reality is different, why not just post what is true? For organizations that must be soooo difficult (sarcasm) for many to do what is stated. 12-12: Crickets except for multiple text and email messages from a chatbot. literally there were 8 texts in 3 hours yesterday, emails and then a phone call. If weren't for a business, one w/could consider it harassment..The delivery tracking was fine, almost another overload though. Initial messaging was a 3 hour window, then delivery at 1231, to multiple delays and finally arriving at 2:51. The delivery was fine, and did not order the additional "service" The packing material removed filled the trashcan as the crew does not unwrap the product. Further, you cannot "see" the product until after opening. Hence can't affirm right product or color. Phew, right color, and you have to put on the plastic triangular feet. No pre drilled holes, no nothing. Plus taking off the tags, always a problem when removing the tags you know those plastic things that get stuck, well there are 2 of them buried in the armrest only to be right in a place to bug you constantly. And a metal screw, fastener or otherwise ready to rip you skin. The worst - non removable cushions for your back. Poor quality - never recommend purchasing online until you view the product entirely. You really get what you (don't)pay for here.

Very disappointed with my experience at this store. I came in looking for a mattress and a sofa, but there was no one available to help. Several employees were in the showroom, but they all seemed to be on their phones and never looked up or acknowledged me the entire time I was there. After waiting and walking around for quite a while, I finally left without speaking to anyone. I expected better customer service from a well-known furniture brand like Ashley. Definitely not returning to this location.

The sales person and I discussed having the bed assembled upon delivery. She told me that She was going to cut me a deal (because I also bougt a Mattress and boxspring ) and only charged me for delivery. So of course when the delivery men showed up, they told me they could not assemble it.

The process was efficient and fast. My purchase was delivered within 3 days.

I would like to begin by acknowledging Bob's outstanding customer service skills. His warm and inviting demeanor had a profound impact on my visit. I successfully located the exact products I required, and also discovered several unexpected items that I grew fond of.

I shopped in the store in mid August, I wanted a few things and salesman told me I had to pay first before they can order or even find out if the item is available. It's been 6 weeks and nothing has been shipped. No one has told me anything. I'm canceling my order on Friday if no one helps me. Plus never ordering anything again. I will cancel my order on Monday and you guys know who the salesman is too

BEWARE: ALL SALES ARE FINAL AT ASHLEY I purchased four barstools from the Ashley Furniture store in Palm Desert after researching them online and visiting the showroom. Three of the four boxes remain unopened, and one was opened only to discover the item was the wrong size. When I attempted to return them, I was told Ashley Furniture has an “all sales final” policy and does not accept returns. At no point during the purchase did the salesperson or paperwork process clearly disclose this policy. We were rushed through the transaction, and there were no conspicuous signs posted in the store making this restriction known. The website and in-store documents also present conflicting information about returns. Only after contacting the store did I learn about a hidden process requiring a “Notice of Dispute” buried in the fine print of Ashley’s website. This is not what I expect from a major retailer. In today’s marketplace, virtually all retailers accept returns on unopened merchandise within a reasonable period. California law even requires “all sales final” policies to be clearly and conspicuously posted in stores. Ashley Furniture failed to meet that standard. I'm not sure why anyone would buy from Ashley when nearly every other retailer takes returns. It doesn't say much about their integrity or concern for customer satisfaction. Consumers deserve transparency and fair treatment. Unfortunately, my experience with Ashley Furniture was misleading and unnecessarily burdensome. I would not have made this purchase had I known the true nature of their return policy and I will never shop here again. UPDATE 9.17.25 Ashley has offered me $60 to keep the barstools, which I find unacceptable. Their “all sales final” policy was never clearly posted or explained at the time of purchase, which violates California consumer protection law. This resembles the tactics used by disreputable overseas sellers on social media who deliver unusable goods and then offer a partial refund rather than accepting a return. It is deeply concerning to see Ashley, a major U.S. brand, following a practice that mirrors such tactics. I will be contacting local media outlets in the Coachella Valley (including the Roggin Report) to ensure other consumers are aware of these practices. UPDATE 9.22.25 To date, I have been contacted twice by Customer Care: The first email requested photos of the boxes in response to my Notice of Dispute. The second informed me that replacements had been ordered and would be delivered on September 30. This response demonstrates that my Notice of Dispute was not read carefully. I clearly stated I am requesting a refund, not replacements. The barstools are unusable for me, so sending three more creates additional expense without resolving the issue. In short, Ashley is spending more money and time to make this problem worse. A refund and return would have been the lowest-cost resolution from the start—clean, efficient, and brand-preserving. This situation is not simply a customer complaint—it is a case study in operational inefficiency, wasted resources, and disregard for customer time. I've now respectfully asked the CEO for his direct intervention to ensure this matter is resolved in a way that makes both financial and reputational sense for Ashley.

Very expensive and poor quality furniture

I went to three other furniture stores before going to Ashley's. They definitely had the best selection at a good price. I was very indecisive on which one to buy but the salesman, robert, was extremely patient with me as I walked back and forth from dresser to dresser before deciding which one to buy. I'm very pleased with Ashley's and next time I'm looking for furniture I will definitely go there first.

Nice store, decent pricing, Terrible customer service. I purchased several items which were to be delivered through the Phoenix store on a specific date. 4 days later I discovered they were not going to honor that date, so I cancelled the order prior to any fulfillment or shipping. Ashley confirmed the order was cancelled and a refund would be issued within 4 days. 10 days later and I am still waiting for that refund of several thousand $ to show up. The frustrating part is you can never talk to the store. If you call and select the option to speak to the store, it rings 3 times and then they transfer out of the Country to a call center. Never again Ashley...... Follow-up, I have emailed Ashley as requested in this review and attached all documentation. Not even an acknowledgement back from Ashley.

I ordered a dining room table along with six chairs. The color I ordered was a light color when the delivery came. I only received the dining room table in a dark color with dents on the top of the table surface. I asked them where were my chairs were and they said they only had the table to deliver to me. When I called Ashley up to find out what had happened they told me no chairs were included with the order Even though when I ordered the item it showed that it came with six chairs. I was told by the delivery people that I need to call Ashlea to have the item picked back up and then have a refund issued. I did that on July 2. I was given a case number along with already having my order number. On July 4, I was contacted by email asking for 360° pictures of the item, serial number of the item, part number of the item and reason why I needed a return. Even though I had given all of the information to the first person that I called on July 2, I provided all of the photographs and all of the information again for a second time. It took them from July 4 to July 10 to get a hold of me. I was called at 11:38 AM and told that they would be at my house the very next day between 8:30 AM and 12:30 PM. They didn’t even give me 24 hour notice. Of course I already had doctors visits and other appointments scheduled for the same time they wanted to pick up my table. So the next appointment they were able to give me was on July 15. They could not give me a time because they said we’ll have to call you the day before to tell you what time we’ll be there. So now I have to keep the whole day open waiting for the day before to find out what time frame they’ll be at my house. This is the worst Customer Service I have ever encountered. I would never want to have to go through all of this ever again. And the sad part is I still have the wrong item. No refund. And have no clue how or when any of that will be done. PLEASE BE SURE THAT YOU REALLY ARE WANTING TO GO THROUGH ALL OF THIS TROUBLE. IF YOU EVER GET THE WRONG ITEM DELIVERED TO YOUR HOUSE. FOR ME, IT’S NOT WORTH DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY WITH THIS KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Excellent customer service at the store and delivery

I recently moved to a 1 bedroom unit and was needing to get it furnished for a reasonable price. I went to a couple other retailers but they sold Ashley furniture and I decided to go to Ashley directly. I was welcomed politely by Brenda who is a pro at interior decorating. I was able to leave about an hour later with a big smile. She was able to find a beautiful sofa, recliner, coffee table, etc.. to fit my needs perfectly and at a very reasonable price. Brenda knows the furniture business well and I will be forever grateful to her. She is also very patient and has the ability to explain things in a concise and understandable manner. Thank you Brenda. You deserve 100 stars! LZ

We walked in and our salesman Juan met with us. We told him what we were looking for and he directed us to the places we needed. Then left us to our own devices. Which is good cause I despise when salespeople hover around like vultures.we looked asked him questions when done and left to compare and talk over. Went back a couple of days later and made the purchase. It was fast and he was so wonderful. We will use him again.

While the pricing was good, store very clean and sales floor merchandised well, the overall experience was a dud. One very kind and attentive asociate greeted me and spoke about the upcoming and current promotions however their breath was so rancid as they were speaking to me, I unfortunately could not stand there for any length of time to have him assist me. I felt badly but it just wasn't going to be an option as the smell was making me nauseous. Secondly, all but 2 of the 6 or so individuals whom appeared to be selling team members were plopped on the furniture, either talking with each other or on their cell phones the entire 25-30 minutes I walked the showroom. One associate literally was hacking up a lung as they sat on a sofa, on their cell phone, from the time I arrived until the time I left. It was distracting and concerning as they truly sounded sick.

My sales person was very good at presentation , listening to client needs and caring for my physical needs...one must be patient with we seniors who have a myriad of ageing issues and he was, I believe his name is Juan....commendable employee.

Our sales person was amazing and helpful. We came home to measure our living room space, and then attempted to pay for our purchase onthe telephone. Somehow the name on the contract was different from the name on my credit card so your finance office cancelled our purchase and returned our money, without letting me know. I noticed an email and received a call from another sales person Becky who on her own time helped me straighten out the error. We now have completed the purchase which took about 3 days.

Review for Ashley Stores – Palm Desert, CA We purchased several items from Ashley in Indio back on February 9th, including a dining room set that we paid for in full with cash. At the time of purchase, we were told the dining set would be delivered within two weeks. It is now eight weeks later, and we still haven't received the full order. The most frustrating part has been the constant delays with no proactive communication from the local store. We’ve had to chase updates ourselves, and today we were told—again—that the remaining item won't arrive in time for tomorrow’s scheduled delivery. We had several family gatherings planned that we specifically purchased this furniture for, and we’ve had to host them without the proper setup. It's been beyond disappointing. Not once has anyone from the Indio store called to acknowledge the delay, apologize, or offer any kind of explanation or resolution. The lack of customer service has left us incredibly frustrated and feeling like once the sale was made, we were no longer a priority. It's not okay waiting months for something you were told would arrive in weeks. So Disappointed!

Ashley Furniture: A Masterclass in Incompetence If you’re considering ordering from Ashley Furniture, let me save you the trouble—don’t. This company is the definition of frustration, with laughable logistics, terrible quality control, and customer service policies that seem designed to make your life miserable. Here’s our nightmare experience: We ordered two lamps, two nightstands, and a dresser to be delivered to California. From the very beginning, it was a disaster. Shipping Fiasco: One nightstand decided to take the scenic route across America, stopping in New Mexico, New Jersey, and who knows where else, delaying delivery by an extra week. Damaged Goods: By the time we received both nightstands, they were riddled with broken parts. Ashley's brilliant response? They would only replace one because we didn’t report the damage on the second one within 72 hours—never mind that we were still waiting for the entire order to arrive! Their "solution" for the other nightstand? A refund, but no return. Apparently, Ashley doesn’t even want its own junk back. More Damage: While dealing with this mess, our dresser arrived—also damaged. Since it was pricier, they had to have a separate department call us back. After over a month of chasing them, they finally agreed to pick it up (despite originally saying they don’t accept returns on broken pieces). Eventually, they issued a refund. Lamp Debacle: One of the lamps arrived defective. Ashley tried troubleshooting, but because the problem was inside the plaster lamp, there was no easy fix. Since we hadn’t opened the box right away, they generously sent a replacement—which also arrived damaged. Another refund, another waste of time. End result? We’re left with one lone nightstand and one mismatched lamp. Useless as singles, we had no choice but to donate them. Ashley, of course, couldn’t care less. This company is an absolute joke—terrible logistics, poor product quality, and customer service policies that punish you for their failures. Do yourself a favor and shop literally anywhere else. Ashley Furniture is NOT a reputable store. Avoid them at all costs!

Absolute horrible experience!! Sales man was great but when it came to getting everything delivered it was a nightmare. Scheduled my order to be delivered 4 times and had to take time away from my day every time only to be let down every time. Even after confirming my order numerous times it was a constant no call no show. When I expressed my concerns to management of this store I was promised a discount on my order for being a month late which was not followed through. When I called to check the status of my discount it was not upheld. Stay away from this store they will promise you the moon and not deliver on anything.

Overall experience was very good. We were greeted at the door and offered assistance on what we’re looking for. Our salesperson was helpful and provided us with everything we needed. We purchased 2 tables. They arrived quickly and were super easy to assemble.

We had a great experience both in the store and with our salesperson Jason. The selection was good and prices very reasonable. We had to cancel a rug and table from our order but they were very accommodating, no questions or hard sell, and immediately credited back our card. We took delivery of the furniture and found the service exemplary. The guys were quiet, careful, and left the house with things set up and clean, all trash removed. We are very happy with the sofas and tables we purchased as well as the good service.

I fell in love with a complete set at first, and then everything went completely downhill. It took a month for them to deliver one couch. I called the store to let them know I was coming in to buy the additional chair and ottoman and all the tables and when I got there, they told me it had all been cleared out and it only been one day. My couch came with a grease stain and nobody has ever come to clean it I have two different warranty companies on my furniture, and I am very saddened by the horrible service and lack of customer service. I will never buy there again.

Update: It has now been a full week since this poor review. Ashley Customer Service asked me to send them details about the purchase order, which I did immediately. Not surprised, that after a full week I have not heard back from them. Buyer beware if you have a problem with your purchase do not expect any customer service from Ashley Furniture. 🥺 Purchased a dining room set from Ashley. The chair backs were snagging our clothes and pulling threads out of them. After two separate visits from Ashley technicians they claim there are no defects. The second technician sanded the finish off sections of the chairs to smooth some of the boards but now the finish is messed up on several chairs . Ashley’s response is to set up a third technician visit. So disappointed with this company’s customer service. I have never received promised call backs about my warranty issue.

I went into Ashley furniture knowing exactly what I wanted. We were an easy sale. We purchased our couch Dec 1 and were made aware of separate deliveries, but were assured we would have it all by Jan. 10. They did not make us aware they were no longer delivering the rest on Jan. 10. I called to check on delivery time day of and was told they moved the date to another week without letting us know. As of today we have been told we have to wait until the end of February, and I would understand if we financed it, but we payed completely up front and have been left in the dark this whole process. Extremely disappointed in the communication and quality of their service. We won’t be purchasing from Ashley furniture again and will not recommend them to others in the future.

Our salesman was wonderful. Unfortunately delivery has been Ridiculous. It was purchased on December 1 and was to be delivered on the 17th. They canceled the delivery until the 27th. Canceled delivery again until the middle of January. They were supposed to be Christmas gifts for our sons. When we ordered them, nothing was said about them being back ordered or that we would have to wait at least six weeks for delivery. So as of now, I cannot give a comprehensive review on the actual chairs since we are still impatiently waiting for them.

Waited nearly a month for just half of my bed set for the drivers to damage the footboard while removing it from the truck. Leaving me with a headboard against the wall rails exposed posing a danger to myself & my young children! Just leave & say “if I was you I’d complain like the white people do so they can move faster” unbeknownst to him I’m half Caucasian! Refused to put the items back in the boxes that they came with, I guess Ashley has to recycle the cardboard for more money! Just very distasteful i NEVER do business with Ashley ever again. If I could’ve given 0 starts I would’ve. 3 phone calls later & no help !!!

Our salesperson Juan was wonderful. He made himself available to us but was never intrusive or pushy. The only negative to the experience was dealing with the automated customer service bot, but once I was able to "convince" it to connect me with a live person and then speak with someone in our actual store, my issue was quickly addressed.

Just received delivery of our new reclining sofa from Ashley. Delivery was extremely well organized. We were advised of a timeframe in advance and then given an opportunity to track the delivery van so we knew within a few minutes of when they would arrive at our home. Very professional.

**Received the sining set and side bar in December. They sent the wrong chair leg and after inquiring they tell me the part is not available until mid-Feb. Its rediculous. They love NEW customers. But once you have paid, you are not important any more. I've been trying to use my Ashley Advantage credit online like their website suggests. Called twice to try to get all the info needed to process the sale. Chatted with an agent attempting to get the CVcode that I was told isn't needed, but is. Finally I called the store to fund out, if you want to use your Ashley Advantage you have to go INTO THE STORE. Gee maybe they should NOT offer something they don't do!! Maybe one of the first few people I spoke with could have told me! What a time suck these idiots are!!! And yes by the time I finally called I was frustrated and rude and I don't care! They deserve it.

Friendly service. They had what we were looking for

We were referred to Ashley from a previous employer who spoke very highly of the brand and customer service team. We purchased a 14" Chime Elite King Mattress bed which we loved instantly (our sales associate was Felix who was amazing). Once we arrived home, we were notified that some information was incorrect and we would have to stop by and correct it (mix up with the billing address and delivery address). We stopped by and made the decision to also add a bed and possibly were thinking entire bedroom set, Felix was helping us but had to leave and had another associate assist us with the changes to the order. While going over the details about adding the bed, the associate helping us asked if we wanted a mattress cover (i declined as I already have one) and said that the warranty on the mattress would be voided if I did not purchase the cover (I smirked as I had already purchased the bed the night prior with no cover thus making my warranty no good) but I was told if I didn't purchase the box spring with the mattress that my warranty would be voided (at this point, I'm being told two different things, both in which my warranty would be voided because wither way, I was walking out with out one or the other with the initial sale). During this process I was talking with my boyfriend about the purchase as this is something that I will have for years to come and it's not something you can return or exchange if you don't like it. Furnishing a room/home takes time and consideration as they are permanent purchases for your home. During this time, another associate kept walking by behind the sales desk (the finance lady helping us was very kind and so was the associate) and sucking his teeth, breathing heavy like when someone is annoyed. He continued to make comments from down the desk saying "I would just get the mattress cover" or something like that but in an annoyed voice, to which I felt completely disrespected and pushed on to jump on a decision/purchase that is not for anyone else by myself. It hurt me to do, but due to that sales man (shorter, blad-ish) I decided to cancel my entire purchase completely. A mattress and bed that we had completely fallen in love with thrown out the door due to poor customer service from another associate. I feel extremely bad as this affects Felixs sales and commissions, but it's unfortunate that a sale was lost and my family and I left with a bad representation of Ashley due to the unprofessionalism of your associate.

I like the bed, and installation was simple enough. Customer service was lacking. I was told the bed would be delivered 11/26, and I'd receive a text heads-up the day before. Instead, I got 3 separate deliveries, none on 11/26, and no advance text. I just happened to be home for the last delivery, and my front gate was unlocked, or else it would have be left outside and possibly stolen. Not good.

Sales person led me to the dining sets then left me to decide. As I was waiting for my daughter he checked on me and I told him to check again. When she arrived he took us back, we picked what we wanted. He ordered it, set up delivery date and we paid. Took less than 30 minutes and I got the chairs I wanted.

A drawer on the nightstand purchased did not close properly. The technician could not properly fix the drawer but Ashley refused to replace the nightstand. This will be my last purchase from Ashley Furniture.

Great service and fast home delivery. I ordered 2 bedroom side tables, one was delivered the next day on Saturday the other one on Monday, I didn't expect them until mid week. Staff was very nice and did not follow you around the store. I will buy from them again.

Delivered the wrong bed and refused to take it back. Said I had to go in the store. I did and I'm still waiting to hear from Ashley

It was great working with Abby. She helped us find what we were looking for.

Haven’t received our over sized chair yet. Told it was ready for delivery on 10/31 and was given a 4 hour window. Then 2 hours into our 4 hour window we received a call that Ashley would not be delivering the oversized chair because it didn’t come in to the warehouse. Thereafter they scheduled delivery for 11/5 we will see if we get the chair? I appreciate the follow up from Ashley and the oversized chair was finally delivered flawlessly and I am finally enjoying the chair I fell in love with in the store. Thank you!

Recently purchased a small drop leaf table from Ashley. The table is well made and exactly what we were looking for. We saw the same table at another local furniture store and almost bought it, but wanted to see what Ashley had to offer. To our surprise the same table at Ashley was significantly less in cost. Next time we will just go to Ashley.

I had a great experience at Ashley I will recommend it the person that helped me his name is Ely he made me feel comfortable and specially he didn't tell me oh yeah you need this or push me to buy more stuff I got what I needed and I had a great experience I would recommend this place again and this is what I got and I'm happy with my stuff

I purchased 3 bedroom sets and they has a promo on the beds that gave the customer a $250 credit toward a new mattress. I also purchased 3 mattresses and didn’t receive any credits. I have called 4 times to ask about the credits and I just get a runaround from the store. I guess they were hoping that I wouldn’t notice and now hope that I will get frustrated and just go away. I cannot recommend this store.

Don't make probably the biggest mistake of your life going to Ashley furniture. I was nothing but lied do and now that I've got problems. They say that's not covered this isn't covered? That's not covered and now they wanna charge me $2 a month for paper billing which I was not told about either very disappointing. Please stay away from this place. Every day there's a new surprise with the poor customer service.With ashley trust me they will lie to you

Ashley had proven to be a very professional and friendly business. I found exactly what I wanted there, a super sales rep to assist me, and excellent delivery and follow-up. Quite impressed!

House was damaged when the original drop off of furniture was made. The interior of the home had just been painted. We had not occupied the house yet. Walls were nicked. Drywall chipped. Bed was not assembled properly. Footboard fell off. Our other half of the order was delayed because they could not process the credit card because we were in San Diego at the time. Not in store. When. The 2nd portion was dropped off we asked where the couch was. They said no couch. The delivery men were about to drive off when we asked them to check their truck. Lo and behold there was the couch. Later my wife noticed a tear in the veneer on the dresser. I threw up my hands. Nothing to be done. I cannot imagine a pissing match with these clowns to get it taken care of.

I would never shop in Ashley again. Your return policies is the worst I've experienced. The managers are not helpful at all. And you get nowhere with them. They just want to sell sell sell. Never will they get my business!!!!!!!!!

I had been looking for a new bedroom set and hadn’t seen one and decided to go to Ashley during the weekend. I went to the PD store and was greeted by sales professional, Peter Reichel. I shared details with him and he was attentive, easy to talk to and showed me options. I went back on Sunday and I purchased a set from him. Overall, it was an easy and enjoyable experience. I walked in this store, and what killed it for me was all sales members & customer service counter ..all employees were on their personal cell phones. Management needs to put a stop to cell phones on the work floor. I ended up walking out.

We had a great experience last week buying our new living room furniture from Brenda. She provided the perfect mix of attentiveness and follow up, while along us to move at our own pace. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE our new living room and will contact Brenda in the future for other needs.

In Palm Desert the Ashley Home store is well equipped with all the sizes, styles & color of furniture you could possibly think of. I particularly bought a tempurpedic mattress which as we all know is just sold by Ashley but they're not manufactured by Ashley. I paid close to $7 k for the mattress alone 🛏️ & bought a sleigh 🛷 bed of $1,200 . The tempurpedic mattress Is well worth the seven thousand dollars however the bed itself is not worth $1,200 at all. The way they manufactured it is just simple, not well put together & is as it almost was made to be very fragile even though it's a wood & cardboard frame, it is stapled all around excessively to the point where the upholstery will eventually come off. 1 star for my taste if I would have paid $600 for the bed it would of been a complete different story however that's not the case. Poor resistance, poor durability, & poor manufacture. Quality fabric, quality hardware ( except for the cardboard which is part of the frame ) I would recommend Ashley's decorations maybe desks table tops, other furniture simply that are not bedframes.

Peter was amazing! We just got a new home and had to buy a bunch of stuff and he was so helpful with picking stuff out. Very knowledgeable and wasn’t worried about spending enough time with us to get everything we needed. He had all the information and helped us troubleshoot concerns about the details. The best part was that he’s not too “salesy “ and was more concerned about us getting the right stuff rather than getting us to buy more expensive items. Ashley furniture sells a warranty protection plan for their furniture from Protectall. While that maybe great for them to get those sales they are fully aware that protectall will deny most, if not all claims put forth. We went into the store to inquire about our protection plan and the customer service rep told us what we needed to do but also informed us that they probably would deny the claims. Why sell something they know full well can not be utilized! And of course when you try to get the cost of the protection plan refunded Protectall will not refund that either and thats who you have to request the refund from. So basically you are out all that money too. Do not let Ashley furniture convince you to purchase this plan, it's a waste of money.

Bought my first bed here didnt feel pressured, great sale

I have gotten a few things from her and the customer service in store has always been great. However this last time it was exceptional. We had an issue with the service process and I went to the store with it. The GM helped sort it out and instead of regretting my families investment in our home we will remain Ashley customers. Unfortunately after this review everything went to poop. Unclear communication from Carmen. Who says oh I tried to follow up and then when asked did you leave a vm says oh well no but I scheduled XYZ without talking to you. This was after I confirmed 3 different ways my appt just to be called an hour later a call I missed by someone named Tiffany who needed to reconfirm everything for my delivery to come the next day. I've missed 3 days of work to sit around waiting for service techs one who clearly hates their job or just that bad at it and it's always reschedule. When it came time to just replace it it was that reschedule without a text or an email nothing. Just did it after multiple confirmations the day before. The kicker GM said I'll personally deliver it if they can get it here and then nothing. I get there are processes to things but this was just a nonsense experience and I now had to go to the attorney general to get them involved 🤦

I’m so impressed with this wonderful store. I walked in there desperate for a comfortable chair, as I just recently had knee replacement surgery. Becky was wonderful! She kept telling me there was one recliner that I needed to try as it propels you out of the chair so it’s easy to get up from this chair. She was absolutely 💯 correct; it was the most comfortable and perfect chair for me. She helped to get it to me very quickly. Next, I was informed of the delivery and they tell you how many stops away they are. The men who delivered the chair checked everything out and helped us with our questions. They were excellent help to us. Further, within about 20 minutes, I received a kind call from Ashley store to ask if all was well with my purchase. This is the best customer service ever. I would recommend this store highly and I would ask for Becky. She made the whole experience absolutely amazing. The recliner is beautiful and works great. I’m so happy in this forever chair. Please stop by; all of their furniture is gorgeous. I will never buy furniture anywhere else. They have it all! Juan was excellent and exceptional help to me today finding dining room chairs. He was so accommodating, cheerful and very helpful. He helped answer all of our questions and was extremely kind. He should be commended for his fine customer excellence. It is rare to find exceptional help today but Juan was truly the best.

We were interested in a new mattress as well as a new traditional wood frame bed to match our existing bedroom furniture. Having done prior research on mattresses, we've decided to purchase a split Cal King adjustable Tempur-Pedic mattress to accommodate both of our different sleeping needs. The traditional wood frame bed, which we've seen online was optimal as well. Kirk, our sales person was wonderful. We very much appreciated his knowledge and expertise, guiding us in the right direction to complete our purchase. We can't wait to receive our new "dreamy treasure". Thank you so much.

Purchased a night stand which I had to assemble. Missing correct part. After asking for part 6 times Ashley sent the wrong part 6 times. After 4 months I still don’t have a nightstand.

Horrible customer service and did a horrible job rectifying an issue that they created. Delivery was slated for a specific day, got a text confirmation that the delivery will be here a week after the agreed date. Tried to ask the store to help further and the person on the phone denied that we ever agreed on the original date.

My husband and I came into the store to look for a bed frame. Peter was super easy going and very friendly! He had a lot of patience with us walking us through what would be in our price range. We needed up purchasing something that would be a longer term investment for us and better for our sleep. Went in on Sunday to buy a mattress i saw on Ashley web site . Sales person was very uninformed about mattresses. Brings in his manager , that tells , its only on line & walked away . I asked for a store manager , after repeating myself to what i am looking for , the manager was as uninformed as the sales person . No one was able to help me with a mattress . I called customer service to be told , all Ashley stores r independent owned & couldn't answer me about the web site advertising

Felix Valladolid was SO helpful! We went into the store Friday evening, asked some questions, but didn't purchase. I tried ordering the next day on-line, but there were some glitches. I called Felix, and he remembered us and what we were interested in. He took care of the order on his end, was VERY patient with me, and confirmed that everything went through properly.

Me and my husband went shopping for a couch. We walked in and we are immediately greeted by Jonathan who was very nice and helpful. We ended up looking around for a little while found the couch and we wanted. We went back to Jonathan and let him know that we found a couch we wanted. Jonathan then informed us that some pieces weren’t in and that he was going to see if he could do multi delivery so we get part of the couch and then part of it later. That he got our payment info info that stuff got us all checked out, even though it was super complicated and difficult but everyone helped out and we ended up getting through and we bought our couch for our new house. Everyone was wonderful and pleasant.

I love this store and all the furniture I ever bought I still own and looks fantastic still. The salesperson KIRK BAMBUSCH helped me the other day and was so patient with me and gave me all the details I needed to make the best decision for my next bed. Called regarding a sofa and loveseat i was interested in, but at the time was not in my price range. Shortly after, it went on clearance and Brenda the salesperson called me back ! The price was cut down more than 50% - and we walked away with a deal that could not be beat and the living room set that we wanted ! Brenda was very helpful and I appreciate her going the extra mile to reach out to me. Everyone was very helpful and professional at this Ashley store in Palm Desert !

We purchased a top grain leather reclining couch and oversized reclining chair plus a marble topped coffee table and end table from Ashley store in Palm Desert. Delivery was excellent but within 24 hours we realized you can’t recline the couch because the coffee table is too big so the feet of the recliner can’t come up. I called Ashley the very next day and asked if I could return or exchange the tables and I was told no, they don’t accept returns. I asked to speak to the manager and was told it wouldn’t do any good that there is an absolute no return policy. I could have bought this same set at several different places online and they all accept returns, even Ashley online accepts returns. I won’t be keeping these tables because the coffee table renders the reclining aspect useless. I would have expected my sales person to have pointed this out, that’s why I have always preferred to shop in stores so I can get expert advice. It is evident that this store does not take pride in customer service, it’s all about getting the sale. I will never shop there again and I will encourage my friends to steer clear too. Horrible customer service!

TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE IF LOOKING TO PURCHASE A MATTRESS. We purchased a mattress for over $3k and had it delivered and set up in our home. Within less than a year the mattress started to develop a sunken divot in the middle of mattress and was very unsupportive. Also there wear tears on the outside from the handles. I reported these things to the store and they never called me back. I spoke to one of the managers at the Ashley store and he assured me he would call me back at some point with an update regarding them refunding me or replacing the mattress and nothing! literally waited over 2 weeks for a call back and I finally decided to contact the manufacturer instead. I called the ASHLEY customer service number to inquire about a repair or refund and they had techs come out twice to first tell me oh yea it's under warranty we will replace and then telling me the opposite later in emails. WASTED MY TIME! I had to contact the mattress company directly and THEY HONORED THEIR WARRANTY. Replaced my mattress, had it delivered, set up, and even removed the old damaged one etc.

I had called let them know I'd rather pick up and pay at store then I was told that they don't do that that everything is done through the phone based off the fact that they don't have furniture in store (sounded ridiculous) but I was like ok I can do everything through phone and pay through online link... everything went smooth with "Brenda"🙏🏼!! then I get a call the next day saying they don't do sales through the phone and that I'd have to come to the store for the purchase and that my order was now being cancelled that is what "Jessica" called me for during my work hours had brought to my attention! They just very unorganized!! Will never ever waste my time with Ashley furniture store again nor would I recommend anyone there!!

We recently purchased a new home and went to every store in a 60 mile radius that sold furniture and we found pretty much everything we needed at Ashley in Palm Desert. Peter helped us and he was so knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy at all. We didn’t know much about mattresses but knew we wanted a quality one that would last and he was so patient and answered all of our questions on the differences between them. The store has a huge selection of different styles also. So happy we went there!

Becky was very thoughtful and worked with us to ensure we had what we wanted at a price we felt comfortable with. We greatly appreciated her service.

My furniture got damaged after a couple of years. The insurance paid for a replacement after 3 months. This store worked with me every step of the way. Stay tuned for my replacement pictures.

I had a extremely bad experience with Ashley's furniture I bought 6 set leather couches and a big 6 set dining table and I had nothing but issues with the product to be fare it was the 3rd party delivery team that damaged my products but Ashley's furniture gave me trouble when I would call and complain about the damage when I ask for a Ashley's furniture team to deliver they assured me it will be done and when they showed up it was again a 3rd party I spent $6,000 on the couches and the dining table to have the new product to be broken and damaged I will not and have not bought from any Ashley's furniture store again.

JAMES SOLD ME MY DREAM BED JUST TO BE CALLED TWO DAYS LATER THAY THEY SOLD ME THE WRONG BED AND I HAD TO GO BACK AND PAY THE REST OR BUY A MATRESS TO GET A DEAL! And spend money I frankly don’t have because I just bought my first home. I already got rid of my bed and been sleeping on the floor! They weren’t even nice about it and kept dodging my calls. How messed up is that!?! All I got was an I’m sorry but what about the inconvenience it’s cost me. I wouldn’t have gotten rid of my bed! 😭😭😭 The worst customer service. Gave me the run around just to come in to the store and they had already reimbursed us. Made me come in for nothing ! Also ALL THE CUSTOMERS INFO AND ADRESSES WERE JUST LAYING OUT UNATTENDED ON THE COUNTER FOR EVERYONE TO SEE!!!! Names adresses card numbers purchased information!

Had a great experience today at the Ashley Store in Palm Desert. Kirk was our sales associate and he was amazing and very helpful. He didn’t pressure us and listen to what we were looking for. We ended up with a new couch for a great price. Go see Kirk and he will help you with what you need.

Do not buy ANYTHING from this place. And if you work here you should find a new job somewhere else. They have you selling trash furniture at high prices, then deliver trash furniture broken and damaged. Especially do not buy the warranty it doesn't cover anything they say it does. I got ripped off by this place and will never forget it. They rely on first time buyers and don't count on you to ever follow up with your damaged garbage furniture. All of my dressers have broken drawers that will not hang on, clips falling out, finish wipes off. And I bought their most expensive set.. Shame on this company and the people who work here selling it to you.

I used to love walking around and looking at all of the beautiful funiture at Ashley. Everyone was so nice and helpful. When I finally decided to purchase our mattresses and keep it local I went to Ashley. That is when it all went downhill. I purchased my son's Purple mattress and pillow first and then my daughters Purple mattress a couple of weeks later. High pressure sales "buy today or you wont get the sale price" This was a mattress purchase not a car. We had an immediate problem with my daughters mattress from the initial unpacking. It was very clear there was a problem. Ashley's employees were no longer helpful or nice. I called repeatedly with no resolve. I emailed and I went into the store. I finally made contact and a scheduled appointment 2 months later. The technician came out assessed the situation and whole heartedly agreed with us. Another month later and I had to call them for an update. They told me nothing is wrong with my mattress and they will not help me any further. No exchange no refund. The worst customer sevice ever!!! I spent over $3,500.00 and I just wanted Ashley to make this right. I would if I could give Ashley a lower rate. 0 STARS

Recently I was in need of a dining set and end tables. Ashley Furniture had both. Great selection and styles!!! Also both times our Salesperson was very helpful. Real patient with us. Thank you!

Purchased a dresser and had one drawer fail very quickly. We took the broken pieces to the Ashley store to show them exactly What was broken. After a long wait for warranty service to come, the repairman shows up without the needed parts. He promises expedited ordering of the parts, since our dresser had been broken over a month already. Now, two months later, we still don’t have the parts and still have a broken dress. We requested replacement of the dresser since it is under warranty. Ashley refused because it was a “simple” repair. Yet we still wait for this simple repair. Nearly 3 months later. Horrible customer service. Horrible warranty service. We are now three months later in the middle of March and Ashley has still not been able to get the parts To repair our dresser nor have they honored their warranty, even though we asked numerous times. This is the Worst customer service I have ever Experienced in my life. Absolutely no interest in honoring their warranty. We have finally decided to hire a furniture repair man to do what Ashley refuses.

couch was delivered in wrong color at first. ottoman has yet to come in and it's been over a month.

We just moved to the area and were just browsing to see what you had. Ended up with most of the furniture we needed to furnish our new home. James was a GREAT salesperson! We had a great experience and will definitely be back!

5 stars for customer service for Juan who helped me order my dining set. 0 stars for Ashley having a no return policy. I thought only sketchy businesses had those All sales Final rules. I will re-think shopping here in the future.

Worked with Henry and he was able to get us what we needed quickly, professionally, and friendly. And we feel the mattress we got is comparable and if not better than the mattress-in-a-box you can get online.

I was greeted at the door, explained what all the sales were, and then left to explore the store without being pressured. The sales lady came by to check periodically if we had any questions. When she could not get back to us, she had a salesman come check on us, and when we decided on what we liked, we were given an awesome deal. I recommend Ashley furniture for a no hassle. Awesome deal place to shop for furniture.

Bought a $3500 couch and is peeling off I got the useless warranty and off course is not cover I call Ashley for help and they denied to help, I will never go back to that store again, they use sheap materials on their products.

Customer service during this visit was pleasant as I didn’t have a sales person following me around every step of my way. My sales guy was extremely helpful not pushy, and as a result, I made a very large purchase of items that I needed. My experience was a positive visit. I highly recommend Felix V. as an excellent sales person. My only negative comment is the delivery fee is excessively high, and is based on a sliding scale.

11/2/23: I placed 2 separate orders through Ashley, both deliveries, half of my items were broken. A total of 4 items. Also, they dropped off a different customers furniture at our home. They do not handle items with care, when being built or during transport. Items came in dirty, scuffed, scratched, missing/broken screws and drawers not sitting right. I do not recommend Ashley Furniture Store as they do not care about the quality of their products or their customer satisfaction. I will never shop with this company again. For the amount of money I paid for their products, their service was unacceptable. Not to mention, the item that could not be delivered due to damages, is now out of stock. So I now have 2 dressers and 2 nightstands with no matching bed. I would give 0 stars if possible. Update on my orders as of 11/15/23: the technicians did come out and ordered me new drawers. The drawers came in with no handles! Like how! Also, one was scratched (see photos below). Making this their 4th attempt to get things right and they once again failed. In case you were wondering, I never got my bed as mentioned in my initial review. I would give negative stars at this point if I could after all this hassle. Let me save you the trouble right now, do not shop at Ashley Furniture. Update as of 12/12/23: five drawers later I finally have 2 that are undamaged. Do they slide into the end tables? No! They are totally off and don’t close all the way. I also found additional scuff marks on my dresser once we began moving our new furniture into its place. (See newly added photos). I am at the point where I will have my local handy man fix these drawers and the scuff marks before speaking to anyone associated with Ashley Furniture’s customer service and avoid having them send out, yet again, another pointless technician in addition to missing a day off work. 0 stars highly do not recommend!!

My experience was great while in the store. Juan Rojo was an attentive and well educated salesman. He helped me find exactly what I needed. It was unfortunate that I had to make a 2nd trip to the store to present my Credit Card because the POS system would not accept a card that did not match the delivery address. I understand for security reasons this might happen but I feel it could be avoided. I am excited about my new sleeper sofa besides the extra trip. Thanks

Bought a mattress, pillow and box spring . Ed the manager was awesome. He made the sell easy and no pressure. And when I had an issue with the box spring , Ed made it right. There’s no doubt I will be buying my new sofas there soon.

Shopping at the Ashley store in Palm Desert was surprisingly pleasant. My husband and I weren’t sure what we wanted, but the salesman, James Johnson, showed us what was available, then let us discuss the options between ourselves without any pressure whatsoever. When we found a couch we liked, he came up with an agreeable price, again no pressure to buy extras. Now we are waiting for delivery and expect to be very pleased with our new couch.

Nathan was an incredible help. Stayed 30 minutes past store closing to seal the deal. Very knowledgeable & informative. Now with my new mattress I can wake up without an aching back. Time to get rid of my 27 year old dinosaur of a mattress. Thanks Nathan!!

From the minute I stepped into the store and saw hungry faces writing to tackle me I saw one particular sales associate and said a quick prayer he would be my guiding light to a new bed!! I was not disappointed, Nathan was my guardian angel. Listened to what I said, asked the proper questions and found my new sleep set. He is Fabulous and I day this from retail management 40 year experience.
