Great experience with purchase and delivery. Love the sofa. However the piece is faulty. Assuming that Ashely will agree to replace the piece with another.
A drawer on the nightstand purchased did not close properly. The technician could not properly fix the drawer but Ashley refused to replace the nightstand. This will be my last purchase from Ashley Furniture.

Great service and fast home delivery. I ordered 2 bedroom side tables, one was delivered the next day on Saturday the other one on Monday, I didn't expect them until mid week. Staff was very nice and did not follow you around the store. I will buy from them again.
Omid was personable… not like a typical salesperson who wants a sale. He spent the time asking questions and showing product to find us what we wanted. We had color and measurement requirements and he found us what we wanted. A definite problem solver and a great human being to do business with…

Salesman was great . He Left me alone to pick out the furniture. All other stores i have been to there sales people were very aggressive and intrusive to get the sale/ Commission. My sales guy answered my questions when I had one and Left me alone untill I was ready to purchase. Ashley's delivery people were outstanding. Very professional, friendly and on time . I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at Ashley Home Furniture.

Haven’t received our over sized chair yet. Told it was ready for delivery on 10/31 and was given a 4 hour window. Then 2 hours into our 4 hour window we received a call that Ashley would not be delivering the oversized chair because it didn’t come in to the warehouse. Thereafter they scheduled delivery for 11/5 we will see if we get the chair? I appreciate the follow up from Ashley and the oversized chair was finally delivered flawlessly and I am finally enjoying the chair I fell in love with in the store. Thank you!
Recently purchased a small drop leaf table from Ashley. The table is well made and exactly what we were looking for. We saw the same table at another local furniture store and almost bought it, but wanted to see what Ashley had to offer. To our surprise the same table at Ashley was significantly less in cost. Next time we will just go to Ashley.
I had a great experience at Ashley I will recommend it the person that helped me his name is Ely he made me feel comfortable and specially he didn't tell me oh yeah you need this or push me to buy more stuff I got what I needed and I had a great experience I would recommend this place again and this is what I got and I'm happy with my stuff
I purchased 3 bedroom sets and they has a promo on the beds that gave the customer a $250 credit toward a new mattress. I also purchased 3 mattresses and didn’t receive any credits. I have called 4 times to ask about the credits and I just get a runaround from the store. I guess they were hoping that I wouldn’t notice and now hope that I will get frustrated and just go away. I cannot recommend this store.

Don't make probably the biggest mistake of your life going to Ashley furniture. I was nothing but lied do and now that I've got problems. They say that's not covered this isn't covered? That's not covered and now they wanna charge me $2 a month for paper billing which I was not told about either very disappointing. Please stay away from this place. Every day there's a new surprise with the poor customer service.With ashley trust me they will lie to you

House was damaged when the original drop off of furniture was made. The interior of the home had just been painted. We had not occupied the house yet. Walls were nicked. Drywall chipped. Bed was not assembled properly. Footboard fell off. Our other half of the order was delayed because they could not process the credit card because we were in San Diego at the time. Not in store. When. The 2nd portion was dropped off we asked where the couch was. They said no couch. The delivery men were about to drive off when we asked them to check their truck. Lo and behold there was the couch. Later my wife noticed a tear in the veneer on the dresser. I threw up my hands. Nothing to be done. I cannot imagine a pissing match with these clowns to get it taken care of.
I would never shop in Ashley again. Your return policies is the worst I've experienced. The managers are not helpful at all. And you get nowhere with them. They just want to sell sell sell. Never will they get my business!!!!!!!!!

I had been looking for a new bedroom set and hadn’t seen one and decided to go to Ashley during the weekend. I went to the PD store and was greeted by sales professional, Peter Reichel. I shared details with him and he was attentive, easy to talk to and showed me options. I went back on Sunday and I purchased a set from him. Overall, it was an easy and enjoyable experience. I walked in this store, and what killed it for me was all sales members & customer service counter ..all employees were on their personal cell phones. Management needs to put a stop to cell phones on the work floor. I ended up walking out.
We had a great experience last week buying our new living room furniture from Brenda. She provided the perfect mix of attentiveness and follow up, while along us to move at our own pace. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE our new living room and will contact Brenda in the future for other needs.

In Palm Desert the Ashley Home store is well equipped with all the sizes, styles & color of furniture you could possibly think of. I particularly bought a tempurpedic mattress which as we all know is just sold by Ashley but they're not manufactured by Ashley. I paid close to $7 k for the mattress alone 🛏️ & bought a sleigh 🛷 bed of $1,200 . The tempurpedic mattress Is well worth the seven thousand dollars however the bed itself is not worth $1,200 at all. The way they manufactured it is just simple, not well put together & is as it almost was made to be very fragile even though it's a wood & cardboard frame, it is stapled all around excessively to the point where the upholstery will eventually come off. 1 star for my taste if I would have paid $600 for the bed it would of been a complete different story however that's not the case. Poor resistance, poor durability, & poor manufacture. Quality fabric, quality hardware ( except for the cardboard which is part of the frame ) I would recommend Ashley's decorations maybe desks table tops, other furniture simply that are not bedframes.

Peter was amazing! We just got a new home and had to buy a bunch of stuff and he was so helpful with picking stuff out. Very knowledgeable and wasn’t worried about spending enough time with us to get everything we needed. He had all the information and helped us troubleshoot concerns about the details. The best part was that he’s not too “salesy “ and was more concerned about us getting the right stuff rather than getting us to buy more expensive items. Really cool items and not nearly as expensive as we anticipated overall. Great experience here and happy we came to this place. Thanks Peter! You’re the best!
Ashley furniture sells a warranty protection plan for their furniture from Protectall. While that maybe great for them to get those sales they are fully aware that protectall will deny most, if not all claims put forth. We went into the store to inquire about our protection plan and the customer service rep told us what we needed to do but also informed us that they probably would deny the claims. Why sell something they know full well can not be utilized! And of course when you try to get the cost of the protection plan refunded Protectall will not refund that either and thats who you have to request the refund from. So basically you are out all that money too. Do not let Ashley furniture convince you to purchase this plan, it's a waste of money.

Bought my first bed here didnt feel pressured, great sale
I have gotten a few things from her and the customer service in store has always been great. However this last time it was exceptional. We had an issue with the service process and I went to the store with it. The GM helped sort it out and instead of regretting my families investment in our home we will remain Ashley customers. Unfortunately after this review everything went to poop. Unclear communication from Carmen. Who says oh I tried to follow up and then when asked did you leave a vm says oh well no but I scheduled XYZ without talking to you. This was after I confirmed 3 different ways my appt just to be called an hour later a call I missed by someone named Tiffany who needed to reconfirm everything for my delivery to come the next day. I've missed 3 days of work to sit around waiting for service techs one who clearly hates their job or just that bad at it and it's always reschedule. When it came time to just replace it it was that reschedule without a text or an email nothing. Just did it after multiple confirmations the day before. The kicker GM said I'll personally deliver it if they can get it here and then nothing. I get there are processes to things but this was just a nonsense experience and I now had to go to the attorney general to get them involved 🤦

I’m so impressed with this wonderful store. I walked in there desperate for a comfortable chair, as I just recently had knee replacement surgery. Becky was wonderful! She kept telling me there was one recliner that I needed to try as it propels you out of the chair so it’s easy to get up from this chair. She was absolutely 💯 correct; it was the most comfortable and perfect chair for me. She helped to get it to me very quickly. Next, I was informed of the delivery and they tell you how many stops away they are. The men who delivered the chair checked everything out and helped us with our questions. They were excellent help to us. Further, within about 20 minutes, I received a kind call from Ashley store to ask if all was well with my purchase. This is the best customer service ever. I would recommend this store highly and I would ask for Becky. She made the whole experience absolutely amazing. The recliner is beautiful and works great. I’m so happy in this forever chair. Please stop by; all of their furniture is gorgeous. I will never buy furniture anywhere else. They have it all!

We were interested in a new mattress as well as a new traditional wood frame bed to match our existing bedroom furniture. Having done prior research on mattresses, we've decided to purchase a split Cal King adjustable Tempur-Pedic mattress to accommodate both of our different sleeping needs. The traditional wood frame bed, which we've seen online was optimal as well. Kirk, our sales person was wonderful. Purchased a night stand which I had to assemble. Missing correct part. After asking for part 6 times Ashley sent the wrong part 6 times. After 4 months I still don’t have a nightstand.

Horrible customer service and did a horrible job rectifying an issue that they created. Delivery was slated for a specific day, got a text confirmation that the delivery will be here a week after the agreed date. Tried to ask the store to help further and the person on the phone denied that we ever agreed on the original date.
My husband and I came into the store to look for a bed frame. Peter was super easy going and very friendly! He had a lot of patience with us walking us through what would be in our price range. We needed up purchasing something that would be a longer term investment for us and better for our sleep. Went in on Sunday to buy a mattress i saw on Ashley web site . Sales person was very uninformed about mattresses. Brings in his manager , that tells , its only on line & walked away . I asked for a store manager , after repeating myself to what i am looking for , the manager was as uninformed as the sales person . No one was able to help me with a mattress . I called customer service to be told , all Ashley stores r independent owned & couldn't answer me about the web site advertising
Felix Valladolid was SO helpful! We went into the store Friday evening, asked some questions, but didn't purchase. I tried ordering the next day on-line, but there were some glitches. I called Felix, and he remembered us and what we were interested in. He took care of the order on his end, was VERY patient with me, and confirmed that everything went through properly.

Worst place to buy furniture.don't get the insurance it's 500$ and they just scam u they always say the insurance dosent cover it like what's the point of paying 500$ if there not going to fix nothing !!!! I hate this place I regret getting the insurance ..

Me and my husband went shopping for a couch. We walked in and we are immediately greeted by Jonathan who was very nice and helpful. We ended up looking around for a little while found the couch and we wanted. We went back to Jonathan and let him know that we found a couch we wanted. Jonathan then informed us that some pieces weren’t in and that he was going to see if he could do multi delivery so we get part of the couch and then part of it later. That he got our payment info info that stuff got us all checked out, even though it was super complicated and difficult but everyone helped out and we ended up getting through and we bought our couch for our new house. Everyone was wonderful and pleasant.

Called regarding a sofa and loveseat i was interested in, but at the time was not in my price range. Shortly after, it went on clearance and Brenda the salesperson called me back ! The price was cut down more than 50% - and we walked away with a deal that could not be beat and the living room set that we wanted ! Brenda was very helpful and I appreciate her going the extra mile to reach out to me. Everyone was very helpful and professional at this Ashley store in Palm Desert !
We purchased a top grain leather reclining couch and oversized reclining chair plus a marble topped coffee table and end table from Ashley store in Palm Desert. Delivery was excellent but within 24 hours we realized you can’t recline the couch because the coffee table is too big so the feet of the recliner can’t come up. I called Ashley the very next day and asked if I could return or exchange the tables and I was told no, they don’t accept returns. I asked to speak to the manager and was told it wouldn’t do any good that there is an absolute no return policy. I could have bought this same set at several different places online and they all accept returns, even Ashley online accepts returns. I won’t be keeping these tables because the coffee table renders the reclining aspect useless. I would have expected my sales person to have pointed this out, that’s why I have always preferred to shop in stores so I can get expert advice. It is evident that this store does not take pride in customer service, it’s all about getting the sale. I will never shop there again and I will encourage my friends to steer clear too. Horrible customer service!
TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE IF LOOKING TO PURCHASE A MATTRESS. We purchased a mattress for over $3k and had it delivered and set up in our home. Within less than a year the mattress started to develop a sunken divot in the middle of mattress and was very unsupportive. Also there wear tears on the outside from the handles. I reported these things to the store and they never called me back. I spoke to one of the managers at the Ashley store and he assured me he would call me back at some point with an update regarding them refunding me or replacing the mattress and nothing! literally waited over 2 weeks for a call back and I finally decided to contact the manufacturer instead. I called the ASHLEY customer service number to inquire about a repair or refund and they had techs come out twice to first tell me oh yea it's under warranty we will replace and then telling me the opposite later in emails. WASTED MY TIME! I had to contact the mattress company directly and THEY HONORED THEIR WARRANTY. Replaced my mattress, had it delivered, set up, and even removed the old damaged one etc.

I had called let them know I'd rather pick up and pay at store then I was told that they don't do that that everything is done through the phone based off the fact that they don't have furniture in store (sounded ridiculous) but I was like ok I can do everything through phone and pay through online link... everything went smooth with "Brenda"🙏🏼!! then I get a call the next day saying they don't do sales through the phone and that I'd have to come to the store for the purchase and that my order was now being cancelled that is what "Jessica" called me for during my work hours had brought to my attention! They just very unorganized!! Will never ever waste my time with Ashley furniture store again nor would I recommend anyone there!!

Pros: Good selection and storeQuality of premium products Cons: The salesperson was extremely territorial and aggressive until I bought. After I bought he wouldn't even answer my call to resolve delivery issues! It erodes trust and makes me want to not go back!!! I had many issues with the beds e.g. wrong slats, bad quality and had to send them back or report issues before accepting. Be sure inspect items with a magnifying glass on delivery because if you sign it's no longer their problem that something is wrong! Like I said after sales, the agent couldn't be bothered to help so I had to make trips to the store to iron out delivery and defect issues! No fun!

We recently purchased a new home and went to every store in a 60 mile radius that sold furniture and we found pretty much everything we needed at Ashley in Palm Desert. Peter helped us and he was so knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy at all. We didn’t know much about mattresses but knew we wanted a quality one that would last and he was so patient and answered all of our questions on the differences between them. The store has a huge selection of different styles also. So happy we went there!

I had a extremely bad experience with Ashley's furniture I bought 6 set leather couches and a big 6 set dining table and I had nothing but issues with the product to be fare it was the 3rd party delivery team that damaged my products but Ashley's furniture gave me trouble when I would call and complain about the damage when I ask for a Ashley's furniture team to deliver they assured me it will be done and when they showed up it was again a 3rd party I spent $6,000 on the couches and the dining table to have the new product to be broken and damaged I will not and have not bought from any Ashley's furniture store again.
Honestly one of the worst experiences of my life. I bought this gorgeous dream bed just to be told they sold me the wrong bed two days later AFTER I got rid of my bed! They gave us the run around and weren't even nice about it! I really would hate it to happen to someone else. Then they reimbursed us without letting us know so we made an additional trip for nothing. Ed, James, & Jessica got defensive & just suggested for us to go back and purchase a mattress to get a "better deal" so now I'm without a bed for almost a month & the treatment on top of that like.

Do not buy ANYTHING from this place. And if you work here you should find a new job somewhere else. They have you selling trash furniture at high prices, then deliver trash furniture broken and damaged. Especially do not buy the warranty it doesn't cover anything they say it does. I got ripped off by this place and will never forget it. They rely on first time buyers and don't count on you to ever follow up with your damaged garbage furniture. All of my dressers have broken drawers that will not hang on, clips falling out, finish wipes off. And I bought their most expensive set.. Shame on this company and the people who work here selling it to you.

I used to love walking around and looking at all of the beautiful funiture at Ashley. Everyone was so nice and helpful. When I finally decided to purchase our mattresses and keep it local I went to Ashley. That is when it all went downhill. I purchased my son's Purple mattress and pillow first and then my daughters Purple mattress a couple of weeks later. High pressure sales "buy today or you wont get the sale price" This was a mattress purchase not a car. We had an immediate problem with my daughters mattress from the initial unpacking. It was very clear there was a problem. Ashley's employees were no longer helpful or nice. I called repeatedly with no resolve. I emailed and I went into the store. I finally made contact and a scheduled appointment 2 months later. The technician came out assessed the situation and whole heartedly agreed with us. Another month later and I had to call them for an update. They told me nothing is wrong with my mattress and they will not help me any further. No exchange no refund. The worst customer sevice ever!!! I spent over $3,500.00 and I just wanted Ashley to make this right. I would if I could give Ashley a lower rate. 0 STARS

Purchased a dresser and had one drawer fail very quickly. We took the broken pieces to the Ashley store to show them exactly What was broken. After a long wait for warranty service to come, the repairman shows up without the needed parts. He promises expedited ordering of the parts, since our dresser had been broken over a month already. Now, two months later, we still don’t have the parts and still have a broken dress. We requested replacement of the dresser since it is under warranty. Ashley refused because it was a “simple” repair. Yet we still wait for this simple repair. Nearly 3 months later. Horrible customer service. Horrible warranty service. We are now three months later in the middle of March and Ashley has still not been able to get the parts To repair our dresser nor have they honored their warranty, even though we asked numerous times. This is the Worst customer service I have ever Experienced in my life. Absolutely no interest in honoring their warranty. We have finally decided to hire a furniture repair man to do what Ashley refuses.
couch was delivered in wrong color at first. ottoman has yet to come in and it's been over a month.
Very disappointed. The first day having the couch delivered, I noticed the cushion was leaning towards the left. The stuffing was uneven and d very uncomfortable. I called Ashley and sent a tech over within a few days. The tech validated the complaint. They didn't even have the courtesy to inform me in their decision which was denied. . I had to call. Well I opened up another complaint. This time, they stood me up with a set appointment. Now they're supposed to be coming this Wednesday. I have no trust in them. What would be my recourse.
We just moved to the area and were just browsing to see what you had. Ended up with most of the furniture we needed to furnish our new home. James was a GREAT salesperson! We had a great experience and will definitely be back!

Worked with Henry and he was able to get us what we needed quickly, professionally, and friendly. And we feel the mattress we got is comparable and if not better than the mattress-in-a-box you can get online.
I was greeted at the door, explained what all the sales were, and then left to explore the store without being pressured. The sales lady came by to check periodically if we had any questions. When she could not get back to us, she had a salesman come check on us, and when we decided on what we liked, we were given an awesome deal. I recommend Ashley furniture for a no hassle. Customer service during this visit was pleasant as I didn’t have a sales person following me around every step of my way. My sales guy was extremely helpful not pushy, and as a result, I made a very large purchase of items that I needed. My experience was a positive visit. I highly recommend Felix V. as an excellent sales person. My only negative comment is the delivery fee is excessively high, and is based on a sliding scale.

11/2/23: I placed 2 separate orders through Ashley, both deliveries, half of my items were broken. A total of 4 items. Also, they dropped off a different customers furniture at our home. They do not handle items with care, when being built or during transport. Items came in dirty, scuffed, scratched, missing/broken screws and drawers not sitting right. I do not recommend Ashley Furniture Store as they do not care about the quality of their products or their customer satisfaction. I will never shop with this company again. For the amount of money I paid for their products, their service was unacceptable. Not to mention, the item that could not be delivered due to damages, is now out of stock. So I now have 2 dressers and 2 nightstands with no matching bed. I would give 0 stars if possible. Update on my orders as of 11/15/23: the technicians did come out and ordered me new drawers. The drawers came in with no handles! Like how! Also, one was scratched (see photos below). Making this their 4th attempt to get things right and they once again failed. In case you were wondering, I never got my bed as mentioned in my initial review. I would give negative stars at this point if I could after all this hassle. Let me save you the trouble right now, do not shop at Ashley Furniture. Update as of 12/12/23: five drawers later I finally have 2 that are undamaged. Do they slide into the end tables? No! They are totally off and don’t close all the way. I also found additional scuff marks on my dresser once we began moving our new furniture into its place. (See newly added photos). I am at the point where I will have my local handy man fix these drawers and the scuff marks before speaking to anyone associated with Ashley Furniture’s customer service and avoid having them send out, yet again, another pointless technician in addition to missing a day off work. 0 stars highly do not recommend!!

Shopping at the Ashley store in Palm Desert was surprisingly pleasant. My husband and I weren’t sure what we wanted, but the salesman, James Johnson, showed us what was available, then let us discuss the options between ourselves without any pressure whatsoever. When we found a couch we liked, he came up with an agreeable price, again no pressure to buy extras. Now we are waiting for delivery and expect to be very pleased with our new couch.

Seems overall less than it was a couple of years ago. Less choices and higher prices but the have a lot to select from and should still be a place to consider getting your next furniture from. Usually have good sales on any given holiday, so I'd wait until then.
Staff is always kind and helpful and not like stalking you and making you feel uncomfortable while you shop. They were wonderful with our kids and answered all our questions. I'm really bad with people names (most people are parental units of insert dog or pig name here lol) and I think her name was Cassandra. She was fantastic. We have bought things here and there from Ashley mostly to ship home from online so this was different. But it was such a no stress experience. We had gone to another store and such an awful experience that I canceled my order and began my hunt elsewhere. I guess I really can't say enough good things about the relaxed atmosphere and customer service provided during my visit.

I purchased a new couch and chair about 45 days ago it is already wearing out will not last me for another two-three year. All they can do is restuff it the technician said there is no default in the furniture no defaults what about the material and stuffing is a default they will not exchange or refund cannot offer a solution except to restuff with fibers. Ashley needs to make this right guess I will be calling them every month to restuffNever again will I purchase from Ashley

Started our search for new furniture at another furniture place…the showroom was so big it was overwhelming and I swear everything looked the same. Next day we walked into Ashley and immediately knew we were going to find what we were looking for and by golly we did! Changing my review because I was given false information. I was told I had 3 day from date of purchase to return items and this is not the case. Ashley has a hard core no money back policy after delivery unless damaged. I should've been told this before. I'm going back to Amazon for my next properties unless you guys make up for this. If I don't hear from you to fix the issue. I'll share my experience on social media.

We purchased these bar stools for our second home and they were only used occasionally, however when we began using them on a daily basis the seat cushion material began deteriorating and coming off, sad because the rest of the chair is still in great shape. Ask for details of any products bought from this store, as the quality may not be up to standard!

Henry& Jessica really deserve so many thank yous! We got our 1st set and they were uncomfortable after delivery nothing like what they had in the Colton store. So we called Henry and he handled our complaint very promptly and had a technician come out and evaluate the couches. Then we call the call center after our inspection was done and opted for a return. Henry found out we were unhappy and he got everything rolling very quickly and got us in the same day and assisted us with our exchange. ****UPDATE it’s been 2 months since my last complaint due to a bad chair… so they replaced it yes… but guess what it happened again!!! Please I worn everyone who comes on here for reviews before going to a store do nit purchase from here. The costumer service is the worst they, they can’t fix anything from you and they take forever to get back to you. It has not even been a year since we purchased this dinning room table. I’m so frustrated and mad. I will never come here again and I want a refund!!! If I can give 0 start i would. Worst customer service ever. We purchased a table with 6 chair about 2 months ago. Well one of the chair was not adjusted properly and one of the legs broke off while I was sitting on it…. And not to mention I’m 3 months pregnant. My husband has been calling to get this replaced and the pretty much just blow him off. I don’t recommend coming to this place.

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY in Palm Desert. Their manager said they would replace our furniture if we had any further issues and now they will not do it. They said she no longer works there & they won't honor it. We have months and months of documentation, photos of the leather coming off & even a video of their service tech telling us that their 5-year warranty is basically worthless & to use dryer sheets to stop the sound. 🤦 Thousands of dollars wasted. They will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to buy - then upsell you on a worthless 5 year warranty they will not stand behind.

Terrible management. Poor customer service. They made an error with our purchase...delivered wrong piece. They wanted us to pay the difference even though it was their mistake. Incorrectly advertised floor piece. We picked the item of the floor, recieved a different one and they still wanted us to pay for their error. Will never purchase from Ashley's ever again. Definitely do not recommend. Manager Zac was rude and arrogant. Not helpful at all. Would give zero stars if we could.

I went to take a look at a new couch because our family couch is 20+ years old. The moment I walked into the store I was followed around by this white sales associate. He didn't really say anything to me, but he was following me around the entire store as I browsed. It was the most awkward 30 mins, and I ended up leaving. I'm not sure if it's because I'm Asian or what, but I promise you I can't fit a couch in my purse. If your gonna follow someone around try and be less obvious about it.
The store is very well laid out and has a wide selection of inventory. Juan and Zach were very professional and helpful. They made our buying experience very easy.

After spending several hours looking at other furniture stores in the area, we stopped in at Ashley. The salesman, Julio Olmedo, introduced himself and asked if he could help us. I told him exactly what we were looking for, the size, color, budget and restrictions we were dealing with. Julio said “I have three.” He led us directly to these options, answered all of our questions, and did not rush us or pressure us in any way. We had some decisions to make so we told him we would think about it and may get back to him the next day. The next day, decision made, I went to the store and waited while he finished with another customer. The entire process was quick and efficient and the couch we bought is extremely comfortable, a very good price, and we are excited to get it delivered next week. An excellent sales experience to be sure. So I purchased a mattress and couches on 11/26/2022 received my mattress days later, was told that I'd recieve my couches on 12/21 since they said they had them in stock and after purchased found out there weren't, I then look at my receipt to find out it says my couches would be delivered jan 4 I went back to the store and spoke to sales man Felix to see why it said that ,he showed me his computer , and said no you will be receiving them by the 21 ,well today is the 21 and I have no couches , so I guess I don't have couches for Xmas after all and I already got rid of my old couches , please make sure you check you're receipts these sales reps like to lie

Buying at Ashley was okay, but after that nightmare. Delivering piece by piece in months. Claim for the couch was ripped during delivery took few month to resolve , they keep calling from different departments and asking same questions over and over and over again. And sale person that promised for extra $700 warranty that we purchased everything will be covered, but truly it was scam. Even couch foam is different firmest in the same couch, but they said we don’t understand, it’s just different color. Please go some local small furniture stores , not buy from this corporation.

I ordered a bedroom furniture and was charged for shipping /delivery .I requested time off just so I can be at home and receive the furniture. Finally the day came , and I did not get any emails , phone call , text ,nothing . So , I call the furniture store , after a few minutes they tell me that they won’t be delivering until next weeks because of some excuse from the warehouse . I was upset because they should have notified ASAP that my furniture was not going to arrive after that , I could have gone to work and not lost on money . The worse , is that you as a customer have to pay for shipping and yes I expect quality work and things to be in schedule . For the future , I will not be going back to Ashley’s for anything . I still have to purchase another bedroom set , living room set , and I will not be going to Ashley’s . On another note , I orders my appliances from Costco and had excellent service and delivery , and COMMUNICATION.
Talked us into curbside drop off to save $100 —not mentioning it would be unassembled There were 2 cracks in two different pieces that we had to glue together before we could even attempt to assemble it

Terrible experience here. We bought some furniture here and the sales associate showed us some sofas. She sold us on them. We noticed they were damaged. She then proceeded to assure us that they would discount them and the warranty would cover them. Sold. Sounds like a good deal right? No. Now they're telling us that warranty doesn't cover it and that that it's been more than thirty days even if we called a claim they wouldn't do anything about it. This is all after they assured us that they would start the claim. Terrible way to treat a customer. They basically sold us trash.
Great deals, better people. Came in with my in laws a while ago and was helped out by Abbie. Very understanding, patient and didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of. If you need good furniture and are in the area I definitely recommend this Ashley over other stores here.

It was a very pleasurable experience. My salesman, Pete Reichel, was very personable, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about all products in the store. He listened to what I was looking for and showed me the things that might fit what I was looking for. He didn't waste my time showing me chairs that were not at all what I said I was looking for. He made very helpful suggestions. It was a total pleasure working with him. I found exactly what I was looking for. Whatever you pay him, it is not enough.

David Neff my sales person was amazing. He really listened to me, and showed me the perfect recliner. I was in and out in less than an hour, and my perfect chair will be delivered on Wednesday. Very nice experience.
I went last weekend to look at some furniture pieces and Nathan approached me and took his time with me. He informed me about an early Black Friday sale for the following weekend (today). My fiancée and I went today to purchase a dining set table and two couches. He did an absolutely great job and explained everything to us. I loved the fact that he did not rush us or get inpatient with us.

My furniture was damaged I'm 100% sure they knew cuz the wood was cracked with wet paint on top of it when I felt the crack my fingers got full of fresh white paint it's a shame that this company would deliver a damage furniture with them knowing it was damaged we work so hard for our money and we decide to spend our money in their companies they shouldn't rip us off like this I hope they make it right

I would definitely buy furniture at Ashley Furniture. I had a problem with my office chair and contacted Ed, the store manager. He not only tried to fix the chair, but he also offered to replace it with another one. Ed went above and beyond and stood by his product.Thanks Ed.
Maria was our saleswoman and she truly did an exceptional job. I was helping my daughter and son in law so they can purchase furniture for their new place. She was the most sweetest and helpful person. Without us even telling her she knew my kids were young adults and didn't try to sell them the most expensive items. I hope her managers know how great she is and because of her I will be going back but only dealing with Maria. There isn't enough words to express all the positive things about her and enough thank yous to give her. Maria thank you for everything you are amazing.

Terrible delivery service. Ashley’s Furniture tells me I have between 8-12 for the delivery. I get a call that they’re TWO MINUTES away when I was told I would get more of a notice. The delivery driver was rude and unprofessional. While I was trying to come up with some options since I didn’t have access to the home for the delivery, he asked if I paid in cash. Why did that matter? Would I be treated any differently had I financed? Ridiculous. When I spoke to customer care they stated that he works for a third-party company. The driver could care less about the fact that I wasn’t given enough notice and customer care washed their hands of me and and my experience. I highly recommend that you seek out another company for furniture.

I bought a recliner 2 years and 8 months ago. The leather is peeling off already. I also purchased the protection plan. What a mistake. They won't even send anyone out to check it. Do not buy there. Do not purchase protection plan. I will NEVER buy from Ashley again. I will also advise everyone not to buy from Ashley either.
The manager who helped was nice and polite. The desk ladies not so much. The call center hasn't fixed the errors on my account in their system after numerous previous attempts. Had to pay cash because no one could figure it out. Then the desk ladies looked appalled that I was paying cash. Green crisp bills. They almost wanted to say they couldn't accept the money because then they'd have to walk and get change somewhere within their office. They were not busy, I was the only client standing in front of about 7 -8 ladies who all had an opinion but no solution. A little annoying for me as a customer...

If I could leave 0 stars I would, unfortunately I had to put 1 to even leave a review. We had an absolutely horrible experience with Ashley’s Furniture Palm Desert, CA store and are sadly still dealing with the situation months later. I can 100% say that this is the worst customer service I have ever received. My fiancé and I bought a bedroom set from Ashley’s as well as a mattress etc. And only a few weeks and $7,000 later, our brand new $2,100 mattress was deemed faulty by one of their own technicians. Thank God we didn’t go with the $10,000 mattress they were pushing us on. We had not even had this mattress for two months before it formed a dip and sunk completely to where the Ashley’s mattress technician gave an official report that they indeed sold us a faulty product. We have been going through months of back and forth with them, they refuse to give us a refund for it as we do not trust them at all and therefore do not want to exchange for the same or more expensive mattress which were the options they gave us, their furniture is completely cheap, customer service is so unhelpful and rude. They then told me I can pick the mattress I like, but since it’s cheaper, I would still owe them $2,100, even though they are the ones breaking contract law since THEY SOLD A FAULTY PRODUCT WHICH HAS CAUSED INJURIES. Completely illegal. I asked for a refund so we can go elsewhere as we don’t want to buy from them ever again, as again, they sold us a faulty product which was so bad, it leaves me to wonder if it was even new in the first place. This is the worst furniture I have ever received, as I am pregnant and have been sleeping on this extremely uncomfortable and faulty mattress in which is now causing me back injuries and has greatly exacerbated my fiancé’s back issues, and still months later they won’t even help me deal with corporate, they said they will not issue a refund in their store, it’s up to me to call corporate, and their manager refused to even speak to me. I will never buy here again, and I would recommend going anywhere else but Ashley’s Furniture to receive actual customer service and products that will most likely be a better price, NOT FAULTY, and better quality as even when they do sell a faulty product, they don’t seem to care at all whether it’s causing you injuries, pain, or frustration, they refuse to make their own mistakes right with the trusting customers.

Great furniture, horrible costumer service. I ordered 2 bedroom sets and bar stools from Ashley's. It was all on back order, which was not a problem as I agreed to wait. They called a month later stating they got all my stuff early and wanted to deliver to me that weekend. I emptied out the 2 bedrooms of the old furniture and got rid of it to be prepared for the arrival of my new sets. The day of the delivery, no one called, no contact, nothing. When I called Ashley's to ask about my pending delivery, everybody was confused on what delivery I was talking about. Spoke to 4 people and they were all confused sharing my items would not be arriving for another month and a half. Now I have 2 rooms with no furniture for 1 and a half months. Finally my order comes, and they deliver everything, except they forgot to tell me there are missing items and pending another month and a half. One of my beds was not installed properly, and they did not even leave me all the screws so I can finish installing them (even though I paid for full installment). Every time I call, no one seems to know what is going on, sometimes extremely rude. I do love what I got from them, but such a hassle and pain I doubt I will go through them again just because of all the run around and lack of good costumer service.

The people are sweet and nice- they have no control over the quality of the furniture. That being said the quality of the furniture is ridiculous. Spent $2000 on outside patio furniture and it’s already disintegrating after 15 months. They only warrantee a year most likely knowing their furniture falls apart after a year.
Ordered pricy queenbed with foundation and head board. Sales person suggested box spring too. When delivered we realized the mattress was too high to get in and out of bed and covered 70% of headboard. When we called that day they called back and said no refunds. Annoyed that salesperson sold the box spring and now we have to pay to get it picked up from outside source. Lousy customer service. Will not shop there again.
I felt the hostess was a little rude once we walked in. We were looking for a sleeper sofa and she informed us that they were scattered throughout the showroom but most likely we're not in stock and be up to 12 weeks for delivery. I didn't mind that. But later when we ask somebody else a specific question about a sleeper sofa he stated they don't have any on the showroom floor. So we wasted our time.
I ordered a dining table and purchased set up & delivery. When arrived delivery driver had a huge box and was proceeding to leave at my front door. I showed him the receipt of “setup & delivery but he continued to tell me that’s not what he had on his order. He instructed me he could leave it or take it back. He wasn’t rude but he was very a bit insensitive to the fact I was holding a receipt in my hand that said paid for set up.. he said he was not able to assemble it for me. I decided to have them leave the box with the hopes my husband will be able to assemble it. I was very disappointed and said I would like a refund for the delivery & setup fee. Which He called and spoke to someone to authorize that. I was looking forward to having my table ready this evening as promised. I called the salesperson that sold me the table & he was helpful but did blame the mixup on the warehouse. I don’t like to complain but feel like perhaps I could get something for this disappointment, perhaps store credit ect. I highly suggest anyone that orders from them confirm with the delivery prior exactly what is getting delivered so you can avoid this in the future. I hope that if I purchase something else from Ashley’s that it doesn’t happen like this again.
Review #2 This site won't let me post different reviews for different visits, so I am just amending this review with my experience yesterday(5/28/2023) Same wonderful Brenda Topping who has been so helpful in the past. Honestly it is Brenda who keeps me coming back to this Ashley Furniture location (Palm Desert)! This time when I asked for her, the gentleman at the greeters desk paged her immediately.I was pleased to see that. Brenda understood what we were looking for immediately and showed us all the options. It was a mattress so naturally the buyer (my son) had to do quite a bit of trying each one and she was endlessly patient - giving him observations and things to look for. We ended up buying a whole bed with the mattress and we are well pleased with what she showed up and the wonderful sale price she was able to offer us. As a result, we are buying bar stools and probably a sectional for our living room. Review #1 I walked into Ashley Furniture and asked for Brenda Topping who took care of my first purchase with Ashley. She was so pleasant and efficient, that I looked forward to working with her again. I asked the 4 gentlemen who were waiting in the vicinity of the front door if Brenda was working and they assured me she was. Then I had to ask them if they could go and find her for me. (I shouldn't have had to ask). At first they just said they couldn't find her - but it didn't appear that they tried very hard. Then I send Brenda a text telling her I was in the store and looking for her. She said when she returned from lunch, the gentlemen up front told her someone was looking for her. After a while, we both wandered into the same section of the store and connected. This should not have been this hard. I understand there is a rotation among the sales associates for customers who just walk into the stores as there should be. However, if a customer asks for a specific sales associate, a little more effort should be used to connect them. After all, if a client asks for someone specific, it is very likely that the particular sales associate is the reason the client came to shop in the store again. It certainly was in my case.

Julio O. the salesman is awful. My boyfriend and I bought 3 furniture seats in total. Julio is pushy, doesn’t let you walk the floor without following you constantly, and gets angry when you try to talk prices. Besides the three pieces of furniture, we have been loyal customers. I will not be coming back here again because of Julio’s lack of professionalism.

In general I think they have good furniture. HOWEVER, the extra warrenty company blows. 1 week to get a tech out, 2 weeks to get parts authorized and ordered, and 4-6 weeks for part to arrive. Been 4 weeks still waiting. Then they tell me to call to schedule a tech to install (another week or 2) or install myself. Keep in mind this is a lift chair need for an elderly person.
Please price check your item online before purchasing. I would of saved over $500 on my sofas if I knew before purchasing. Disappointed and felt taken advantage of, locate store was no help.
the people works there thay are not serious they try sell anything with a nice talking when you purchases any items from them they will be turn totally different people Im don’t recommend it anymore .say different and do a different I don’t want to say what they did with me but it’s was really sad
The people were very nice but there were two issues - none of the items we wanted to see were in stock (they said they had sold out of all items) and the pricing looked off. They said we owed $4000 on the furniture we selected (after the 50% off sale). Upon checking the Ashley website, it turned out they had overcharged us for everything. Ashley Home Store does price match. Once they gave us all the credits, we only owed $1900. It looked like they inflated the prices, then offered 50% off and it was still double what we could have ordered online. Caveat Emptor! Do your research and make sure you are not being overcharged.

My husbands Ashley's card was used without his consent and when they saw he had a certain amount left they didn't even care his card was illegally used they automatically wanted him to apply for a different card until I told them no and made them call. They saw us as if were dumb and would listen to them since we are a young couple. They were no help at all and all they wanted was a sale the two girls in the front are snarky and plain out rude.
We walked into predatory employees that wouldn't let us look around on our own😂 We got annoyed and just left. Later we checked their reviews on here and on Yelp. Their customer service is more one sided.
Our salesperson was Joselyn & she was super. Very helpful without being pushy. Wonderful personality, we would definitely deal with her again.
Felix Valladolid at Ashley Furniture in Palm Desert Gave us excellent service when looking for a living room set. He went out of his way & helped me decide & even measure this large sectional couch set. We got an excellent deal from Felix. I have purchased many items at this store in the past & will make sure I deal with Felix in the future. Again, at a future date, Felix helped me in the selection if a new mattress & helped me get the best deal. I suggest everyone asks for Felix, who truly wants someone that cares about your satisfied with your selection.
We bought a couch last year and were very happy...$1300 with 18 months financing. We decide in August to get a new living room set...$5,000. Do the checkout process with our brand new associate and it takes awhile because he is being trained on the computer..all good. He offers us our financing, we choose 48 months. We sign and all is well. I change my automatic payments to reflect the new payment... I don't look at the statement because payments are recurring (BIG MISTAKE) ..I happen to open a statement the other day and Ashley's only gave us SIX months on $5,000!!! Make sure you all read everything before you leave because they won't fix it once you sign...

We went in shopping for a recliner. We found a recliner that we actually liked and it fit. We happened to find a chair for my wife that fits HER. The deal we got was excellent. Ashley really works with the customers and makes them happy.
(Only because I cannot rate ZERO stars) I will be returning to West Elm (shout out to William) and Pottery Barn and would sooner burn my money than give one nickel to Ashley’s customer service.
Nathan took care of us and gets 5 stars all the way! We're expecting delivery today and have not been given any window of delivery times. At least a four hour window would allow us to not sit around all day. 1 star on the delivery scheduling.

I was offered a a $ 99.00 protection plan because I was a returning customer, or that amount off the dresser I was purchasing. Said I'd rather have that amount off my purchase....but....when I was given the receipt it showed the $100 off ( $795.00 reduced to $695.00 )off the purchase price and then the $99.00 protection plan was added back on. Wait a minute, huh? I'm no mathematician but any way you slice it, I'm paying $795.00 for that dresser. Thanks for nothing!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE- IMPOSSIBLE AND UNRESPONSIVE. I bought a three piece sectional in September SPECIFICALLY because I was told I would have it by October 6th. October 6th came and went and not a word from Ashley Home Store. I contacted James the salesperson who gave me his cell #. He was utterly useless. After a ridiculous amount of time spent trying to get a human I finally was offered a delivery date of October 8th. As I wasn't going to be home at that time, I requested a day I was available. It was set, confirmed and then I got a message saying they had the pieces and could deliver earlier. I chose to keep the date I selected and then Today TWO days before it was scheduled to deliver, I get a call saying it is backordered until November 7th, I refused that date and then was told it was now backordered until November 28th, I contacted the salesperson who didn't bother to reply. There is no way to email or contact an actual person with this company so you get stuck in endless loops of bs. I spoke with a person who claimed to see everything I explained in the notes and promised to have a supervisor call me- no one ever did. I have never experienced such horrible customer service,. I will never, ever shop Ashley again. Would be really nice to hear from someone, Thanks for the wasted time, blatant lies and unnecessary stress. Never again. Ashley.
I'm suppose to get our delivery today . They called and said they will be here in 30 minutes . Got home in 10 minutes and they already left a sign that they were here . My son was home . He didn't hear the door bell . I have the delivery guy recorded on camera . He just stood outside waiting for someone to open the door . Didn't even ring the door bell . Called the office to have them come back and deliverI'm sure they are just around the corner . They refused . Very poor customer service . I cancelled the order . Thank you . You guys are a waste of time .

We had an excellent experience with Julio Olmedo today. He took the time to listen to us describe what we were searching for and then made suggestions based on that conversation. He pointed out the sale that was going on which created really good value and when we made our election, he was very quick and efficient to make the sale, explaining the options for the product protection, delivery and explained which products were in inventory and which ones were not yet but assured us that we would be able to get our items in a reasonable time. Julio was not pushy in his approach at all and we appreciated his professionalism and desire to make sure we got what we wanted. Please make sure that Julio knows we truly appreciate his help today!
Came in with my family to try to get some furniture, bedroom furniture specifically. We got help from Henry and he was being very rude to us. He made my younger brother who happens to be a bigger person and made a few shady comments, one specifically was “Are you sure he is going to fit on this bed?” In a dude manner. Me and my family just brushed it off and continued because we were in need of the furniture. We finally saw something that we liked and he told us the price, mind you, it was on 4th of July and it’s when they have specials. He tried selling us a bed for $900, which is not bad at all, but my sister knew something felt wrong because of the specials going on. So she asked her husband to get someone else, specifically Hispanic because Henry did make us feel racially profiled as well as mentioned above, make my brother feel bad about his weight. My brother in law finally got assistance from Felix and he helped us out a lot as opposed to Henry. He helped us out with getting what we wanted and *surprise surprise* we found out that the same bedroom furniture that we tried getting, he sold it to us for about $600. Henry found out about this whole situation and became very hostile and rude in front of us at that with his co-worker Felix. Now we’d definitely would give the store a 5 star had Felix helped us out since the beginning, but because Henry was trying to scam us with $300 more, was very unprofessional and rude, we’d decided to give the store a 1 star.
If you go in make sure to stay away from Henry he has horrible customer service plus tried to charge us 300 dollars more than the actual price of the item we purchased🤦🏾♀️

The store is well stocked and has a large variety of styles. We went during a weekend sale and boy did we save a ton of money. James and Frank were our sales guys and we are very pleased with the service we received. Definitely coming back!
Maria one of your sales rep was not nice when I told her that I refused my items from being delivered as I wasn't aware that they would not set the items up in my home. If I would have known that before purchasing I would have chosen another set. She then said you can come and switch it for another set. She called me back 3 days later at which I has already purchased elsewhere. Then she just hung up. Unprofessional!!!!! I will not purchase from Ashley's again!!!!!
Was told our furniture was in stock and would be delivered within the week. When we didn’t receive a call we reached out to the store and was informed our furniture was back ordered and HAD BEEN back ordered when sold to us until December. Absolutely ridiculous. Watch out for Ricardo, he’ll lie to you to make a sale.

We have made several purchases at Ashley Home Store in Palm Desert. Today we were greeted by Peter and 45 minutes later we were walking out of the store purchasing a lift coffee table and two powered side tables. We will probably return Saturday when Peter is back to work and purchase a couch, loveseat, and recliner…are we happy, yes!
This review is completely based on my experience today 9/9/21. Walked in and was greeted by a friendly man named Gabriel. I told him what I wanted and said “I’m sure you’re all on commission- this won’t be a huge sale so I understand if you wanna pass.” I am SO glad he didn’t pass!!!! Gabriel is a GINORMOUS asset to Ashley’s Furniture. Amazing sales person. Did not pressure or hound me at all. He is so knowledgeable about their furniture, but most importantly he was kind. Great personality too. I looked at Mathis Brothers, & was going to purchase my new bedroom set and recliner from them, but instead I gave my money to Ashley’s ALL because of Gabriel. Give this man a raise ASAP. Do whatever you need to do to show him he is appreciated and you’re thankful for all of his skills. Do lot lose him. I cannot wait for my new bedroom set and recliner. Took my brother shopping for a new recliner he gave the price range and the color of the chair he was looking for.. not only did our salesman find him his chair is the correct color but also the material the chair was made from was even better than expected this is probably the 4th piece of furniture me and my brother have purchased from this same store . One of the worst experiences with a company in my entire life. I ordered a beautiful California king bed which was delivered to me on August 10. The delivery crew set everything up but failed to let me know that there were no support legs in the center of the slats. They built the bed and said everything was done and left. I then went to go lay in the bed and the bed started sinking in the center of the bed I immediately called them back to please hurry and return to fix the bed. They then explain to me that there was no support legs and then I asked them why would you build a bear that did not have the correct equipment in order to set it up properly? They then proceeded to call the parts department and order me the legs meanwhile taking off the slats so the bed doesn’t break. I’ve been sleeping on floor with mattress for 2 weeks. Numerous calls no one could get me a straight answer on how to get my bed fixed. This has been the worst experience ever! No follow up or help to fix this problem. I’m still waiting for a solution to this problem!!!
Henry was very professional. He listened to my needs and directed me to products that would best meet those needs. I am very happy with the choices that I made. Henry also was diligent in getting me the best deals. I would highly recommend him and the store.
Definitely not worth the prices for damaged or used goods that they call new. PLEASE check your items before the delivery drivers leave or you’ll be stuck with it. They deliver damaged and refurbished furnature. Then when you call and let them know your item is damaged, they'll send someone out to spray paint chipped paint. Because they will definitely refuse giving you any type of refunds. This place needs to go out of business IMMEDIATELY. I FEEL SCAMMED.
The arm of the sofa was ripped and has a hole in it. The delivery men left dirty handprints on the doors and door jambs.

I'm giving Ashley's 5 stars because of there customer relations. My wife and I were greeted not once but 4 different times. Like two kids in a candy store my wife had lots of questions. The nice thing was the employee's would be close enough to answer a question and then give us space to look, but never far away. Quality of furniture, that would be up to you to decide. I would say we liked it well enough to buy a house full.
Ordered mattress and box spring and two pillows! Waited all day for delivery and it arrives in the wrong size king instead of queen and then only one pillow available! So waited all day for one pillow.. then call to reschedule been waiting o hold for 30 minutes they can’t find my order say I ask to speak with a manager and get disconnected call back and they say I need to wait 48 hours to call and reschedule my new delivery.. I told them I received a email already stating Friday and I won’t be home need to reschedule it and operator can’t help me because it doesn’t show on her screen! Horrible customer service would not recommend buying anything from them still waiting 4 days later to find someone to help me!

Sales people were amazing. Gabriel let us do our thing but was always nearby when we had a question. We went back the next day to make our purchase and Gabriel was stuck with another customer so he passed us on to his associate Jason AKA Chicago. Jason was a comic. Dude made us laugh and even managed to sell us a couple more items than we planned on buying. Gabriel come to check on us several times even though he was helping another customer.
There was a wide selection of sofas to choose from, as well as different price ranges. I was glad that the sales person didn’t follow me around the store. I wanted to take my time.

Bad experience found out there furniture was cheaper then their big sale price at other name brand stores and there furniture is not made in the USA that explained why it was falling apart while being delivered to my home do your research before buying furniture from this place don't be like me and learning the hard way this place reminds me of a crooked used car dealership

I’ve always trusted my money with ashleys. They did a great deal for me, understood the concept of my living room and stayed within the budget. If what I wanted was too expensive they brought the price down for me to purchase. I love the palm desert California location, I beleive her name was Becky who helped me. I’ve bought entire dining room table set for 6 people for $1800 and a couch for $1200. She was amazing! Highly recommend ashleys furniture home store.

We were greeted warmly by a Sales Associate named Brenda, a lady we soon recognised from a few years earlier when she worked at another retail establishment in Palm Springs. Brenda immediately undertook to look after us with great care and impressive professionalism. We are very pleased with our purchase and, thanks to Brenda, our visit to Ashley's was a delightfully positive experience. We will be back.
My husband and I were furnishing a condo we recently purchased so we went into Ashley’s to look around. The furniture is very nice and there is a huge selection of everything. The best part of my shopping experience at Ashley Furniture Homestore in Rancho Mirage,Ca began when I entered the front door of the establishment.Upon entering,I was greeted by a very friendly young man whom introduced himself warmly as "Anthony".He inquired about what I was shopping for and offered his help,should I need it.I was pleasantly surprised by "Anthony's"demeanor.His sales technique and comfortable conversation are to be emulated and commended.I didn't feel any pressure,as many retail sales people tend to hurry their clients into .making purchases they may regret later,just to make a commission...This particular Ashley Homestore location rates above most large corporate furniture/home decor stores that Ive frequented in Southern California.I appreciate the professional and honest approach that this particular salesman exuded.I will be back to shop for home decor again here and I will request to have Anthony help me.I suggest that you do the same!

I bought a bedroom set over a week ago paid for them to build it once delivered when they got here and open the packaging they noticed the bed frame was missing screws so they couldn't put it together they told me they would get back to me on when I would be receiving the bolts I've called numerous times and get the run-around every time it is now almost two weeks later don't know both still no answer or help and had been sleeping with the mattress on the floor since very upset and unsatisfied
Beautiful place to start off! I want all the furniture , they lower the price BUT when delivery is mentioned within a week is considered 3 months is not professional. Had to return the item 3 times because it was damage upon arrival . RAC acceptance seems like a great option but they end up taxing an arm. Jessicas computer is always slow and her “give me one minute “ is an hour . Contracts are not done till you get on them and cooperate numbers can’t be given out for some reason . Never again will I purchase something from here. The salesman make their commission and don’t even care about the customer . “I just work here “ is the worst response you can give Jessica. Let’s just hope the recliner and chairs won’t be cheap material.

From the minute I walked in the store, I was impressed that the initial meeting with the greeter was helpful in directing me to the section I was interested in. After that, there were no hovering sales people breathing down my neck. The browsing experience was easy and stress-free. When I did have a question, someone was available within a minute to answer questions and only spent as much time as needed, then let me continue shopping. It was the easiest buying experience I've ever had. No hard sell at all. The associate, Brenda, was very informative and helpful. And their Easter 50% off sale is real! I just wanted to post about the lack of follow up that this location DOES NOT provide. We originally ordered a sofabed in December 2020 and were told we could expect delivery around superbowl sunday , that sound great and would be called the day before about delivery times. There was NO call so we called the store were the purchase was made. I understand that a company that's as big as Ashley can be compartmentalized but why should the customer jump thru hoops to get information about their purchase ? Where's the CUSTOMER SERVICE? We've been given two more additional back order dates after we called for delivery information and quite honestly the third time is not the charm. We did not get any customer service until we went back into the store to cancel our order. If the information had been given to us about " only one company in the USA makes a mechanism for the sofabed and are behind due to covid " I could have been more patient.
I went to all the furniture stores in the area looking for a small gray/ black kitchen table that wouldn't break the bank for my new apartment. They had a lot of beautiful furniture there and they let you look around in peace. I found a great set that was delivered on time in perfect condition. A little more than I wanted to pay but it is just perfect for my space.
I will not purchase any furniture from this store again. They messed up the delivery date, and not only that they didn't even deliver the mattress on the day of. I go to the store on my day off in hopes to picking the mattress up myself and upon arrival I learned they didn't even carry one single mattress. Absolutely terrible experience. At least I got a refund.

Be cautious of the sales team trying to get you to buy the warranty, It does not cover anything and is a complete waste of money. I specifically asked their sales associate if the warranty would cover the leather peeling on the couch and she said yes absolutely. That was a lie, they don't cover it. The warranty company also has horrible reviews. I spent 3500 on my couch plus 300 on a warranty I can't use. It's ridiculous.

I ordered my couch September 12, 2020. It’s now 2021 and still no couch. 4 months later still no couch. Horrible customer service, managers are never available! Took a month to speak to a manager cause they never are there and never return my calls. I’m so ready to go in the store and get my refund. Tired of waiting for a couch that may never come! Nice people work here, never buy the furniture, it's all garbage! I purchased they're most expensive bedroom set. Only to have it fall apart. Wood stain is so thin I have patches all over the set, drawers busted. I purchased warranty as well. But I can't get ahold of anyone I have call, gone on the website and I will go in store next. I must state that I am no longer pleased with Ashley Homestore & currently I do not see myself purchasing any further items. They have truly gone downhill in a big way in my opinion. This review is about Ashley&'s DELIVERY service. Maria at the store is great. Very helpful and knowledgeable about what the store has. However, TWICE we have responded to delivery confirmations and then.... waited all day and got stood up! x2! I told Maria she needs to get on the delivery crew&'s case... she works hard to earn a customer&'s repeat business, and then.... the delivery gal on the phone says we did not confirm. We did. 2 of us. Both times. When we finally did get our furniture, the guys were polite and fast.
Worst store ever I got a leather couches . They’re about two years old the leather is falling apart they’re tearing at the seams it is like a second hand couch. Don’t waste your time don’t waste your money with these people they insurance they saw you was a lie. They around call you back they keep telling you they are it’s the worst store ever. This is the second time I've made a purchase here and the first time was damn near perfect..But this purchase they cant seem to get me the remaining parts that they didn't send with the first delivery so I waited nearly 2 weeks for the part I needed and come home today 11-11-20 to find out the part they sent is something I already have and no I need to wait more for the correct part apparently because they don't pickup items once they are delivered. This is beyond frustrating because I've been waiting over a month for the delivery of the purchase and once I received it parts were missing. Don't purchase here unless you want to get the run around and have to play phone tag for days and days..If I could I'd give them -5 stars but unfortunately it won't allow it.

I got a couch The store little over two years ago it&'s been replaced once. Now the couch is completely falling apart Leather is ripping seams are coming apart no more cushions are gone they&'re soft. It&'s a manufactures defect and Ashley will not touch it by all means do not buy any furniture from Ashley they fall apart and they do not back up their merchandise they keep handing it off to the insurance company. And the insurance company says it&'s a manufactures defect I&'ve been going back-and-forth for six months with this. I get no phone calls I get no letters I get no correspondence from them at all. When I called customer service I&'m on hold for about an hour and then they tell me we can&'t handle it because another number to call this is not how you handle customers. Teacher customer service reps how to take care of your customers not throw them around to operator to operator. The 1st couch I got when they delivered it it was damaged I had to fight to send it back. They tried delivering the same couch the damage onetwo more times. When they try the third time it was a new couch in the back of it was all scratched up and their attitude was it doesn&'t show don&'t worry. This took me 3 months To get a couch they kept bringing me torn and broken ones.

Just note that all the local stores are independently owned. So my advice is to buy online through the Ashley website because the pricing is lower than buying in store. They have bundle deals for most of the furniture pieces. I spent over $4000 for furnitures for our new home. Good thing I had my phone with me to compare prices with the online and in store they were able honor the prices though. Also when you buy in store they charge the customer a couple of hundreds for delivery! You would think the amount of money spent as for my case thousands of dollars spent the delivery charges should be waived or free. Anyhow I purchased some more furniture online and the delivery was free this time. So my advice is buy online go look at the actual furnitures you&'re interested in and go buy online directly through Ashley website. I could have saved $600 plus in my delivery charges from my previous orders. Do your research before hand or download their app so you could pull the online prices because if you don&'t they will charge you more.
received a recliner that does not recline the head rest. WE have made several calls with no results and keep getting the run around. They are the poorest store that in my 79 years that I have been involved with. The salesman lied to us as to the return policy.DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE.I was on a video chat for over two hours and no results as they promise to look into the problem but never any call back.
Beware: no way to get customer service after your purchase Andy Garcia was our salesperson. We spent about $4,000 on furniture back in mid Sept. Andy told us that one piece wouldn&'t be available until the 12th of Oct. and the date for delivery would have be on Oct. 18th in order that all items could be delivered at one time. We agreed to wait for over a month and even told him we would cancel a planned trip for the weekend of the 18th, so we could receive the furniture. I called on the 17th because I had gotten no updates from the store at all about anything much less the delivery time. I spoke to a rep at the call center who said first available delivery wouldn&'t be until Oct 26. I asked if there was any part of the order that could be delivered sooner even if it wasn&'t all the furniture since Andy told us deliver would be Oct 18? The rep offered a delivery date of Nov 3rd, if the 26th didn&'t work for me. What?! So, I clearly said no. The rep then said I would need to talk to the store to ask for an earlier delivery. I was transferred, and Diane answered from the store in Palm Desert and told me Andy wasn&'t available to talk to me. She said my delivery had been moved to Nov 3 by the call center. I asked what happened to the Oct 18th or 26th dates, but she said she couldn&'t not change it. I called the store&'s phone number again which automatically forwards to the call center. This time I was given a delivery recording of Nov 3, which did not happen in my previous call. Busted! Obviously, Andy NEVER set up an initial delivery date for us! Once I was connected to a representative, I explained the entire story again. She said she understood the problem I laid out and put me on hold, but instead she actually forwarded back to the store to Diane who says she can&'t do anything. Frustrating!I hung up that call and decided to try calling back again today. The number forwarded me to the call center where I was placed on hold for 25 minutes only to be asked to complete a survey. Once you do the survey, the call ends. So, now I guess my only option is to march down to the store and demand a refund.
I won't mention her name, but my salesperson spoke 10x more than I did and 10x faster too. Went looking at mattresses but had some other things to look at as well. She blew through the different mattresses and found out very little about me or my needs. She didn't even know what a Purple Matress was. Once she thought she figured out she wasn't going to sell me a mattress, she disappeared. Didn't say anything, she just left me there, and didn't check on me afterwards, even though I roamed the store looking at some things. Besides that, prices seemed way too high for quality they were selling.

The saleswoman who helped us was helpful at first. We ended up buying a living room set, a kitchen table with 8 chairs & a recliner. She gave us her card with phone number but the 2 times I called her with questions she did not help us. She didn't seem to care since she already got her sales. They stated that because of covid our furniture will be delivered in 2 MONTHS, we agreed. But my recliner was delayed another month. They gave some bs explanation about because of Covid causing delays but almost 3 months? I called to Ashley headquarters & left a message. Never got a call back. Called the store 4 times until I got a hold of the manager who finally helped me. Got me my recliner 2 weeks (which was still 2 1/2 months from when I ordered them) earlier by calling the factory. All in all if you need furniture quick & need help or a call back quickly, then don't go here.

If you are looking for customer service keep moving. This location has not owned up to their commitments. We had purchased a Bedroom set during the first week of August, with delivery estimated in a week, as the items were in stock. Six days later we called about the pending delivery and were informed that the date had moved to the 24th of August due to the COVID pandemic. They didn't explain how that was affecting the service, but ok. We did receive two end tables and the mirror for the dresser, however, no bed or dresser or mattress. The new date for the remainder of the order was now the 17th of September. Two weeks later we call again prior to the delivery to check on the status. Surprise, the date had now changed to the 24th of October. We asked why, the response was "It's what it says on the screen". No effort whatsoever to inform us of the delay or find the reason for the delay. My wife went to the store to speak with management only to find that there was no managers available. The staff again cited the COVID pandemic as the culprit for the delay. There wasn't any credibility left for us at this store. We cancelled the order, then were told that they would have a truck out to us next week to pick up the previously delivered items. It will take them less than a week to pick up, versus more than 3 months to drop something off. COVID will most likely be the cause for this huge discrepancy in logistics! It's been a horrible experience but we look forward to dealing with a reputable establishment during our new search, post "Blame COVID" era at Ashley.
We found a beautiful set for our bedroom. The staff was extremely helpful without being pushy or hovering.

We went to Ashley Furniture because they were having a great promotion for 60 months with zero interest. Henry showed us several beds and was very knowledgeable about all of the Tempur-Pedic beds as well as the Sterns and Foster beds. They had a disposable safety sheet for us so that we could try out several beds until we found the perfect one for us. We finally decided on a Tempur-Pedic bed. We were please with the large selection and the great service.
I wish I had a bigger house. So that I could buy more of Ashley’s Furniture! I am very pleased with everything I have ever purchased from them. The staff is always so patient. And the sales with interest free on my Ashley’s credit card makes everything so much more affordable.

This store is great if you want mediocre furniture at high prices. And let&'s not forget their total lack of any customer support on an order of $3k+. Their delivery contractors are unprofessional and wreckless. And finally I just cant stop thinking about the charges from London England that appeared on my card within hours of using it at the store. Stay away unless you need some hassle in your life.
This store gets one star for having such a nice store. The second star is for many good sales people available to help. That&'s all for stars because the store practices the &'ol &"bait and switch&" on its innocent customers. Bought several thousand dollars worth of furniture sets with the promise one would arrive in a week and the other 3 to 4 weeks. But low and behold, no furniture came. Called customer service and was told everything was due to be delivered about a week after the original second date. Since I was lied to at the store, and they didn&'t call to say the first delivery date was canceled, they get no more stars from me and have lost a customer in future.

Horrible customer service and over experience. I purchased furniture in May and it is now the end of August with yet another "delay". The first scheduled delivery was 1 July, then moved to 7 July. We got half of our couch and our tables... scheduled to have the rest of it by the end of July and never got it. Then said it would be delivered August 7th.. come the beginning of August they expected me to drive over an hour to their store to sign papers again due to it being past 90 days of my purchase and they apparently couldn't fax it over to me. Made the drive all the way down there. This 90day issue caused me to "go to the back of the line for shipment" I insisted it to be moved back up earlier than Sept 13th because it is not my fault FOR THEM NOT GIVING ME MY THINGS PAST 90 days. They told me it would be delivered August 21st... today is the 20th so I called asking when it would be delivered and they said they'd call me back... of course no call back until I called and they were coincidentally about to call me. Said that it won't be able to come until September 4th but for me to call them Saturday and try to get it sooner. This is absolutely ridiculous, and I understand that COVID May have an effect on shipments but the fact that they do not communicate at all until I have to call for updates and have yet to receive my complete purchase nearly 5 MONTHS after I initially went in is ridiculous. I never expected to have such a horrible experience with a big company like this. I try to remain very calm on the phone but I am very very disappointed.

Today my wife and I looked up theater seeing at Ashley furniture and we saw a recliner described as Boerna power recliner with a list price of $1399.99 discounted to $1,189.99.so we went to the Palm Desert location . When we arrived we were met at the front door where they told my wife and I that they were having a half off sale. They said they we could take half off Ashley's advertised suggested retail price. They also added that they would price match like furniture.We agreed and looked around ,when we found the same exact recliner in the store with the same part # the "suggested retail price" had miraculously jumped up to $ 1,999.99 and was now "on sale" for $1099.99. So when we showed the salesman the the website ad for their store showing the difference we asked to get the half off their the advertised retail price listed on their website. He left and came back a few minutes later and said that the ad was for Ashley's corporate .We said your sign outside says Ashley's .His response was they were not a "corporate" Ashley's they were actually an llc licensed to do business as Ashley's so those prices did not pertain to them. So at that point we asked to speak to the manager a few minutes later some other gentleman came out and said pretty much the same thing he parroted what the other person said we asked him if he was the actual manager and at that point he decided to tell some truth and said he was not so again we asked to speak to the manager when a manager did come by we showed him the add on our phone and showed him the chair and we mentioned that when we first came in they told us that they would price match so we asked them why couldn't they price match from their own corporate store price at that point he became rude and abrasive then parroted the same thing about them being an LLC and that didn't pertain to them and basically were out of luck so we told him that we were unhappy with that will pursue it further, at that point he got very rude and told us to go right ahead and he didn't care .Well that was a bad move on his part as we don't carry their we don't care because we spent thousands and thousands of dollars at Ashley's in the past but you can bet your bottom dollar we will never ever spend another dime there and you can also bet that we will tell the story as many times as we can

So don&'t give me the Covid19 crap.While I&'m writing this, I&'m on hold, for over 25 min. now with a seriousproblem with our sofa sleeper. Juan was very nice and helpful when choosing out our new couch. We never felt rushed or pushed to make our purchase, which is a big plus for us. We have been to four other furniture stores as well as this one within the last week. Their customer service the first time is what brought us back and the customer service for this visit is what made us finalize our purchase. Will definitely be back when we redecorate the bedrooms.
From first arrival I was greeted nicely and allowed to wander alone for a short time to browse, then I was joined by Henry Clark who was very congenial and knowledgeable. There was so much to look at & I was impressed with the inventory and the price ranges. I found a sofa and love seat with the perfect measurements for my space and there was a sale going on too! It was an excellent experience and Henry made it that way.
I ordered a box spring for my daughter on the 4th of aug and was told it was going to be delivered the 12th which was here birthday. The box spring never showed up, so I called customer service to be on hold for 15min. I finally got in contact with someone and was put on hold for another 10mins. When the lady finally gets back to the phone she tells me the delivery was pushed back to the 25th and I wasn't contacted. Worst delivery experience I've had and will never be going back.
3 months waiting for a lamp shade replacement, still waiting... I ordered 3 sofas and a pair or lamps. The sofas were delivered just fine but the lamps came FedEx and one of the shades was bent up beyond repair. I tried calling, email, leaving messages and no response. I went in to exchange they told me to hold on to the lamp and it felt like they shushed me away on a promise they'll mail a replacement but 3 months later and I'm constantly calling them NOTHING! They're great at sales but horrible at customer service!
My experience with Ashley was just short of a nightmare. I don't blame anything on my salesperson Andy, who did what he could considering the circumstances. However their lack of inventory, constantly changing inventory and ultimate inability to deliver items when promised were unacceptable. I realize that COVID has placed a burden on supply, but their system should be able to reflect correct inventory. Before placing our order it appeared the items would be available by the date we needed them, but when Andy input them in the computer and we paid, the dates were pushed back by a couple weeks. They were again pushed back by another couple weeks. When it came time for our delivery date one of the items wasn't available, even though I was promised numerous times by Andy and Carmen at the store they were taking another item from a customers order and giving it to me. I had also been promised by several employees at the Carson warehouse up until the day before delivery that the item was going to my order. I received a call the day before delivery with the time they would be there and found out that only one of two had been loaded on the truck and the other one was out of stock for another three weeks. When I called Carmen she informed me that someone at the warehouse had moved the item into someone elses order. All of it was very shady and we gave up dealing with them, found the item was available at another furniture store and cancelled ours with Ashley. I also left multiple messages that were never returned by the manager Brian. I will not be returning and would not recommend this store to my worst enemy.
We bought a sectional for our new house the first week of June 2020 from the Palm Desert location. We received only one half of the sectional a week later and were given a new delivery date for mid July for the other half. On that due date the furniture never came, we were not contacted and after numerous unanswered calls and online attempts to contact customer service, we then spoke to customer service in person at the same store. The store gave us a new date for the first week of August and didn&'t apologize for the inconvenience. Now it&'s August and we paid a visit to the store again today, because we cannot reach customer service online or by phone, we were then told there is a new date for end of August but we would not be receiving the furniture that day and they didn&'t know when it would be coming in. We asked if we could get a refund since we have had half a couch for two months and they said no. We currently have no idea if/when we will receive the furniture. We filed a claim at the store and were given a claim number and a phone number for corporate. We called and it is the same phone number we have been trying to call to no avail. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. The non-existent customer service shows to care to resolve an issue. We are completely at their mercy and have no idea when the other half of the sectional will arrive. TERRIBLE SERVICE
Better communication with your customers. It's not right we spend our hard earned money on your merchandise and then we get ignored or put aside because your store wants the money but can't be honest or fair with their customer. Terrible customer service!

We’ve purchased so many items from this store. Small bumps in the road before but nothing like this time. We made a purchase JUNE 12 and still are awaiting our order. It got delayed once. Never a call from anyone. We had to call to find out it would be two more weeks Until delivery. Call again expecting this weekend and they’re in stock at the warehouse but can’t get a truck out in our area until Wednesday. Umm if they’re there and I order well over a month ago why was I not first on the list to receive these when they were back in stock?! No one has once apologized for not receiving calls, delays in receiving our furniture, nothing. Prices in store are marked well above what the sell for online. This is our last purchase with Ashley
Once again we have issues with the quality of our products. We bought a couch from them 3 years ago and the main part of the couch front board snapped in half one day, took MONTHS to replace. Now having issues when I vacuum only to discover one of the boards is TWISTED with nails everywhere. They have issues getting reputable repairmen out to fix the couch and now this. You’re better off buying somewhere else.
We have tried calling multiple times with no pick up. Been on the phone waiting for over 3 hrs and also spent over 2 hours on chat in regards to an in store purchase over 5 weeks ago that we still have never received. We haven&'t been able to get any updates or have been able to cancel our order. We are currently 2.5 hrs away and think it&'s ridiculous we have to make a roundtrip 5 hr drive to the store to cancel and get a refund on something we never received.
BEWARE AND RUN--If you need your furniture right away it is not going to happen.We ordered an apartment full of furniture May 28, 2020 and it is July 23 and we still do not have all the furniture. The salesperson said that we would get all the furniture by July 1, 2020. The last delivery(three deliveries) came today and the bed was damaged and we needed to send it back. Be aware that the sales people work on commission so they tend to be very pushy. After they sell they have very little if nothing do with delivery. Also look closely at the invoice before signing because they can also be fast talking.I highly suggest that you go to Mathis Brothers, somewhere where they warehouse the furniture right on location for prompt delivery.The product is nice but see all the disadvantage above.THANKS

I bought a house full of furniture less than three years ago Dr. Sharon's policy do not get the insurance policy they lie to you. It doesn't cover anything they tell you it only covers if you cut it it's broken by somebody otherwise they go through anything they can not to help you. I called Ashley company corporate was supposed to help me out it's been three weeks it's impossible to get a phone call back they set up an appointment to come take a look at my furniture never notified don't even know what time I'm stuck home all day with them. Do yourself a favor shop anywhere else pay extra but do not go to Ashley the after care is terrible.

we completed our purchase with no problem. however when the chairs were delivered the man presented his phone for signature and coughed directly to my face. I contacted their delivery company to request that the man get tested for Covid virus. The people I talked to claimed to not be able to assist my request and kept saying that they take temperatuere tests regularly. They supposedly gave the information to the person I would have to talk to on Monday. There is no way to reach this person as they ignore this problem..This company obviously has no regard for their customers health. As of Wed they have not responded

I also want to thank the manager Bryan for reducing the price to fit our budget. This has been one of the greatest expierence I ever had. They did an amazing job in customer service.

We have been searching for living rm and bedrm furniture visiting all the local furniture stores and hands down best service and deal!! The sales associate was new and did a few errors but the sales manager made it right and fixed everything giving us credit back due to cheaper price found on their website. Delivery was early minor hiccup sectional wasn&'t the power one we saw in store and picked out but went in the store showed them our paperwork and cost of power power button versus the manual recline and they asked if we wanted to swap or get the credit...no hassling or troubles once in this store!! Bobs was not accommodating at all wouldn&'t budge on their high price at all and mors along with Mathis didn&'t bother to help us...hands down the easiest and nicest service at Ashley&'s!!

The store and the staff there deserve 5 stars. Assembly of my patio set was poor and needed a tech to return to rebuild. Tech was great too, fixed some chairs and noticed that some other portions of my delivery were assembled poorly. This required me to make another call to Customer Service. Three calls and 2.5 weeks later, I have not yet received a callback. I get it, with this pandemic and all, things are taking longer, but don't promise to get back to me in 48-72 hours if it can't be done. I made a trip to the store to get some attention; now, hopefully, I will get some service. Other than that, the patio furniture is truly beautiful and I'm happy with the product; I'll be ecstatic once all is assembled as it should be.

Disclaimer, my in store experience was great. Pre-pandemic times I’ve had zero issues. I ordered a chaise online back on the 13th and my card was immediately charged, but I never received confirmation. I called a couple days later and after 6 attempts I finally got through to a really nice woman who let me know that there’s an issue with ordering online and even though it charges for the item, the sale itself is never completed. She got a hold of Synchrony, told me the charge would be reversed and that was that. She was incredibly helpful and very nice. Much to my dismay the item I purchased was sold out so I just let it go. On the 20th, it was back in stock! I was so excited. I ordered it online, albeit hesitant, and got a confirmation number, but the order status read as failed. I immediately called and spoke with another nice individual who told me that nothing was showing on her end of an order ever being placed. She transferred me to someone that just took my name and number down and said that someone would return my call in 48-72 hours. I have it set up for delivery on 5/23 and haven’t received any kind of delivery confirmation email that is usually sent 24 hours in advance. I called this morning and this point they are only taking names and numbers down and now the call back time is 96 hours. Moral of the story. Don’t order online.

Please stay away from this furniture. It will save you a huge headache and a lot of money. It is very cheaply made and is very low quality. I had two employees tell me this too. The technician who came to look at the wardrobe I bought (that didn't function properly) told me this as well. He said the furniture is basically made of saw dust. Customer service is no help once you purchase the furniture. My product arrived broken and they told me that's how it is supposed to be. The drawers do not line up and hit each other when you open them. The technician said he was going to send me a new one but when I didn't hear anything for a month I called to inquire. They claim the technician said the product was made correctly. Save your money and go with a better brand.

When I finally decided on my purchases, he and his manager worked with me for an acceptable total price. I had to move my delivery date twice and got a credit when I found my bedroom set was on sale. Everyone that I dealt with were very nice and professional. I finally got my delivery today! We waited a long time to be able to buy the living room set we wanted. We thought we found a great deal at Ashley. When the furniture was delivered I noticed that the back of one recliner was crooked. The delivery person tried to straighten it and just told me don't worry they will send someone out to correct it. Four months and 5 repair visits later Ashley tells me that my chair is fixed after the repair person tells me it needs to be replaced. Absolutely 100% unhappy and will never shop at Ashley again.
These guys are the king of the FAKE 50% OFF sale. Don&'t buy into it. If you want something here just shop around. Their competitors beat their &"50% Off&" everyday. It&'s a good looking store, though.

I came in looking for a TV stand and had lots of options. I was excited for the St.Patricks day sale, but a better deal fell into my hands. I was shown a clearance item that was on sale for $300 and it is absolutely amazing. The stand is great quality and blows any other stands I saw out of the water. I love that there are glass openings in the front so there is no issue with my tv box. I will be back soon to add more goodies into my household.

So I go in a couple days ago and theres a guy I think his name was alex or adam. Super funny and friendly. I always go see maria. Shes filled my entire home with ashley furniture. I like their selling style because they're so friendly, they made me feel at home and they were very kind and patient. They helped me a lot and I wish I could've bought more. I'm coming back AGAIN for sure. The quality is exceptional. Get the protection plan. Its worth every cent. I love how friendly and family oriented the store feels. It just has a great vibe and I'm sure that's thanks to management as well. I work in retail and know how important a great manager is. Specially when it comes to driving sales. I never have a complain. I actually thing getting lost is fun in that store. Theres always someone to help you get back to the main entrance. I think what impressed me the most was not just their attitude but the way they approach their customers. It was nice to not be pushed into anything and it was even better that everything was explained thoroughly and it was so easy to understand my contract. Thank you to the palm desert store.

Several weeks ago my wife and I purchased a matching Hettinger sofa and love seat at this Ashley HomeStore in Palm Desert, Ca. Our salesperson, Maria, did an excellent job and was very helpful. One thing I would caution others is it's important to first check their online prices before going to the store which we didn't do but luckily a few hours after the purchase I noticed the online prices significantly lower than the prices at the store even though both items were on sale at the store. Right after I discovered this I called the store and we were happy the store manager gave us a price match so we were able to get credit on the difference. I would also like to put a good word in for Brenda in customer service on the phone who as promised called me the day prior to delivery to give us a time window for delivery. We were happy the items ended up being delivered towards the earlier part of the promised time window. The two guys who delivered the items, Jim and Jose, did an excellent job and were very nice. We have enjoyed the sofa and love seat for several days so far and we are very happy with them. I would highly recommend Ashley HomeStore in Palm Desert!

I had gone in just before Christmas and was greeted by Peter Reichel. He was very professional and demonstrated knowledge on the TV stands that I was interested in. I wasn't able to buy that day but he updated me on price and size of the unit I was looking at. Went back today and purchase the unit. I was very pleased with his demeanor, professionalism and knowledge. I will definitely come back when I'm in the market for a couch and recliner.
Just an FYI.....There are NO refunds or exchanges!!! Their quality has declined at least 25% in the past 2 years. We tried to match a table we purchased. They say they make it there & it is no problem matching. This is NOT True! They can not match and the quality has declined. Very fair price for what you purchase
I purchased online a Dolante king head board adelivery and ordering was all easy and everything came on time. I was very excited to get this new head board and mattress the delivery people did their job assemble the headboard rails and put the mattress in as well. Everything seemed great then 2 days later my husband goes to lay down and himself and the whole mattress go right through and he's laying on the floor. The whole mattress and box went right through the rails broke the rails and now we are laying on the floor still waiting for supervisor to return my call regarding my refund they said it would be 2/3 days and tomorrow will be a week and we have been sleeping on the floor. This whole situation is just very upsetting and frustrating especially being 3months pregnant.
Order a table from here and there delivery is so bad they gave me a window from 1:30 to 5:30 it went to 5:45 so I decided to call I was left on hold for 30 min just to tell me it's to 6:30 drop off. Then got a call back it went to 7:00 to 7:30 they should pack so many delivery in one trip if they can't get it done.
So, my husband and I came into the Palm Desert store right after the New a Year. Raul , met with us, spend a lot of time answering our questions and showing us a variety of sectionals. His professionalism, attentiveness were impeccable. He offered help without any sales pressure. He was a pleasure to work with and we left the store feeling very happy with our choice. However, things did not go without a hiccup. Delivery was an issue and there were several problems. I was very frustrated , enough to consider cancelling my order. But, Raul stepped in , he with Carmen who works Customer Service, did not abandon ship. They followed up, made sure delivery was rescheduled expeditiously. Compensated for all the stress and inconvenience we endured assured we were happy. Our sectional and new table arrived , and we love it! We are so excited and we are so grateful that Raul was our contact , and he did not forget about us once we bought the furniture . We will be back to shop again and I guarantee , it will be Raul, who we work with on any purchase we make. I'm giving this a one star just entirely based upon the lack of customer service. not one soul asked my mother and I if we needed help and the man at the front door said absolutely nothing to us when we walked in and out. Not one sales person asked us anything about the mattresses we were looking at or the $500 recliners I was thinking about purchasing. I decided not to buy anything because no one would talk to us. It felt like they didn't wanna deal with us. I'll buy my furniture elsewhere thank you very much.

Walked in & was kindly greeted by Gabriel. He asked what we were looking for and gave us directions as to where the items we were interested in was located. Gabriel gave us space to look at the furniture and helped us without being pushy. Ended up purchasing a bedroom set, mattress and dining room set with Gabriel's help and advice.
Was a lil bumpy at first but Ed took care of everything and is a perfect definition of what a manger should be. Thank you Ed!
Cheap furniture, horrible customer service
I ordered furniture in the Palm Desert store to be shipped to by home in Eureka, CA. after the store manager checked and said it could be done. On Oct. 10th I spent $7,000, for a future delivery date to be determined. After 40 days had gone by their Colton distribution center called me to say that the delivery could not be made from their location, but they would refer it to Lathrop, CA. which is where the store should have send the order. Well Lathrop said no way, too far away. So now Ashley calls me and tells me they can't deliver my order and they will credit my American Express card. I said no, that bill has been paid, you mail me a check, I don't need $7,000. credit on my account. The store and their Corp Office said we can't do that it is against our policy, we have to issue the refund to the method that was used for the purchase. It was like talking to a brick wall they would not budge, yet they had use of my money for all this time. They offered no compensation and not much on a apology. The manager did not return my call until I threaten to contact the local TV Station. Plus when they give you your receipt, it shows an inflated price for the item, then the sale price, which is the same price you could by the item at any other store. Don't shop at Ashley. . . .
I needed a couch or sectional for the holidays. I saw an ad in Ashley's Home store. Was not impress with picture but went in to the store anyways. I did not want to spend too much money. I was greeted immediately by a salesman name Juan, I told him I wanted to see the sectional advertised for $599. 00 he showed me the item and I was very impressed. The pictures ad did not look like the sectional I purchased. It is larger than anticipated, the quality of the materials looks great and what blew me away was the warranty I purchased that covers the item for 5 years for such a low rate. I was very pleased with Juan's knowledge of the item, warranty and set up delivery. All this was done in about 3o minutes. And delivery was right on time too. . . . i am very pleased with Ashely's product, the price and their service is outstanding.
Have to Check their prices on the internet. Can find it better priced 2 del and both came in damaged . many phone calls and trips to store. Still no resolve
Ashley HomeStore is a high class furniture purveyor with a large warehouse-like selection of very expensive furniture. I personally don't like the individual sales people at the entrance ready to pounce on anyone entering the store. But that's my preference, many may prefer the individual attention. Expect a large selection of any furnishing for the home and if they're running specials you can probably find more reasonable prices.

Was easily accessible.. instead busted my door.Left without delivery. Brian manager tells me , yes, I would get my refund come the next day. I go. Now holding my money for 14 days to get me out a check! He does nothing to call corporate claims he has no numbers. This is horrible customer service.. had my money four weeks want it two more.. nothing to show but a damaged screen at my home.. Can&'t even treat a Veteran family with an ounce of respect. I hope to find support from anyone planning to shop here .. stay awaTerrible service .. terrible establishment.. do not stand behind their product or drivers or usurper service. I would never buy anything here again.

Warranty is a joke.They have been giving us the run around for months now. We purchased a sleeper sofa, when we used the sleeper it bent and we couldn't put the bed back. They sent out a tech who took photos and did nothing else, said we should hear from them about getting a new sofa since the brackets were no longer available. My husband bent the brackets so we could close the bed. (the brackets won't stay in place and keep bending, so we have to take the mattress off an put it on the floor.) After patiently waiting we decided to call. They told us the tech said he fixed the problem and no other service was needed. We told them what we were told about getting anew sofa, they said they would need to send a tech out again. So we scheduled and the day before they called and told us that we do not need a tech. They would order the parts and call to schedule when they had the parts to repair the bed. I have called them several times and can't get through. We are about to load up this sofa and take it back to the store. They won't answer the phone at the store, the 800 number just says we are having difficulty and hangs up. It has not been a whole year yet and I paid extra for the extended warranty. The warranty is a joke. Buy somewhere else and save yourself the hassle. I have been holding for 17 minutes now...
My wife and I went to Ashley's on a whim to look at living room furniture. Told Becky what we were interested in. She took us right to the furniture that we asked about and gave us a couple of variations to look at. After picking out the pieces that we liked, Becky informed us that this day was a 50% off sale on every thing ! So we ended up saving a ton of money by buying on this day ! I have nothing but good things to say about my multiple experiences at this store. Mona Lisa was the first to greet me in July and she has continued to be my “go to person” for all my on-going needs. I purchased a living room set, dining room chairs and barstools. The dining room chairs were delivered in July damaged. That began a three month nightmare. A second set was delivered in August -damaged. The nightmare continued. It took calling the Wisconsin Department of Customer Affairs to get resolution. Managers at the Palm Desert (Ed Flores) and Laguna Hills (Chris) stores along with over 30 people in customer service were the most unresponsive and unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. Please think twice before shopping at Ashley Furniture.
So we went out shopping for a new bed moving up from queen to a king Jesus at Ashley made the whole experience a great time. He did his homework matched prices with their web site and saved us a big chuck of change to boot ! He goes that extra mile to make sure the customer is taking care of . I recommend you looking him up if your looking for that special salesman that really cares and listen to your needs.

One of the worst places to buy furniture it falls apart and most of there shitty furniture has a one year warranty that they don't honor there customer service is beyond the worst they put you on hold and never do what they say they hang up on you it's bad we had to drive down to the store because the manager never calls you back it's like this they will bend over backwards to sell you there shit crap terrible products and there motto is to help you and that doesn't exist so do yourself a favor and don't buy there shit I even had to call there head Quarters
An overall great experience at Ashely Home store at Palm Desert CA 👌👌Our move was very abrupt and was pressed for time to have furniture delivered before move in day. My store attendant was Monalisa, just so beautiful, very pleasant and patient. She worked with me tirelessly for two days to get us the furniture of our choice to be delivered before move in date. We didn’t have to settle on quality or style just because it was short notice. The price was just right for our family budget. The manager was very courteous and friendly.

But let alone if there are any strange angles to get the furniture around, ordered one couch, they refused to even try to get it in, said it wouldn't fit, but didn't even have a tape measure or the couch off the truck, took a day off work to receive the couch. Went back to Ashley, searches for 2 hours to find the right (smaller) couch, waited another 2 days to receive, got here and said would not fit yet again without trying. So now I'm out 2 days of work, and the person on the phone was like ok, so your refusing this, no I'm not, you guys are....will not purchase from them EVER again..

We ordered a U-shape sofa set, which is lovely. The sales associate who helped us in-store was great (Gabriel). Nice and gave us space and time to make a decision. The showroom is nicely organized. We were excited for the delivery of our $2,200+ set. However, the delivery was a nightmare. While the third-party contractors arrived on time, they were less than friendly. We were under the impression that the $199 delivery fee included moving the set where we wanted it. We asked them to move it and they groaned and said it was too heavy to move again so we just asked that he pull it back a few inches. My husband pointed out that the corner piece was frayed and so the guy booked us an appointment to have a tech come look at it. We gave them cold waters and a tip anyway. We noticed afterward that they left some of the wrapping in our living room. Not that big of a deal. You would think that would be that and if the story ended there, I wouldn't be writing a negative review. However, the next morning, I found a Sharpie, a nail, and a random furniture piece right in the driveway. If I hadn't walked the dog before driving the car to work, I would have likely had a nail in my tire. I was quite upset and so I called the main Ashley helpline and they said to contact the store manager. I called and the lady who answered took my info and promised a call back when the manager was out of his meeting. That never happened. I called back during business hours and no one picked up. I then called the main line again and they gave me the number to dispatch but I couldn't get anyone on the phone. When showing people the damage and upon closer inspection, it is clear that the delivery guys tried to cover up the damage by coloring over it with Sharpie. So needless to say, my frustration is at an all-time high considering the deceptive people Ashley contracts their delivery out to. The technician came and put in a request for a replacement. So there were three days that I had to delay errands, move appointments, and take off work to make this right. We are finally done with this ordeal that started almost 2 weeks ago, as the replacement piece was satisfactorily delivered today. It is also still bothersome to me that the manager never called me back or took the initiative to apologize on behalf of the poor delivery service. We just bought a new home and would have continued to shop at Ashley if not for this annoying, time-consuming experience. We will be taking our business elsewhere from now on.
We ordered a U-shape sofa set, which is lovely. The sales associate who helped us in-store was great (Gabriel). Nice and gave us space and time to make a decision. The showroom is nicely organized. We were excited for the delivery of our $2,200+ set.However, the delivery was a nightmare. While the third-party contractors arrived on time, they were less than friendly. We were under the impression that the $199 delivery fee included moving the set where we wanted it. We asked them to move it and they groaned and said it was too heavy to move again so we just asked that he pull it back a few inches. My husband pointed out that the corner piece was frayed and so the guy booked us an appointment to have a tech come look at it. We gave them cold waters and a tip anyway. We noticed afterward that they left some of the wrapping in our living room. Not that big of a deal.You would think that would be that and if the story ended there, I wouldn&'t be writing a negative review. However, the next morning, I found a Sharpie, a nail, and a random furniture piece right in the driveway. If I hadn&'t walked the dog before driving the car to work, I would have likely had a nail in my tire. I was quite upset and so I called the main Ashley helpline and they said to contact the store manager. I called and the lady who answered took my info and promised a call back when the manager was out of his meeting. That never happened. I called back during business hours and no one picked up. I then called the main line again and they gave me the number to dispatch but I couldn&'t get anyone on the phone.When showing people the damage and upon closer inspection, it is clear that the delivery guys tried to cover up the damage by coloring over it with Sharpie. So needless to say, my frustration is at an all-time high considering the deceptive people Ashley contracts their delivery out to.The technician came and put in a request for a replacement. So there were three days that I had to delay errands, move appointments, and take off work to make this right. We went to Ashley’s just to browse at the sofas. We were greeted with a warm welcome right away from Monalisa. Monalisa asked us what brought us in, we let her know we were looking for either a sectional or some small to average sized sofas. She let us know where in the store to look and if we had any questions or needed further assistance gave us her name and that she would be more than glad to help us. We appreciated the fact that she was not one bit pushy or sales driven. Once we browsed around and saw the different styles we approached Monalisa and had several questions that she answered with great expertise. Let me tell you, for being fairly new Monalisa knows a lot of great information. We ended up gathering info on three different sofas, she gave us details on prices, delivery, discounts, sizes, etc. We let Monalisa know we wanted to go home to think it over and that we would return within the next few days. Monalisa contacted me a couple days after our visit scheduling a time later in the day to help us. Monalisa patiently gave us some more time to finalize our choice and once we decided on our sofas she happily helped us with the purchase process. We wanted to thank Monalisa for going above and beyond in her customer service. Not only was she patient and very helpful but we greatly appreciated how we didn’t feel any pressure or rush throughout the process. We highly recommend if you visit Ashley’s ask for Monalisa, she made sure to get us the best deals possible while displaying a great and friendly personality. So I went into Ashley’s furniture store in Palm Desert, the gentleman Gabriel was very helpful in the beginning, but the following day when I notice I was paying way too much and felt sick to my stomach and wanted to cancel my order and get a refund they offered me an incentive to keep the sale, so I did, that’s where all goes downhill from there! I ordered my furniture and paid for it the beginning of the month did not get it to the end of the month And on top of that they canceled several times and got the order incomplete times ( even though I had them email me the invoice they could not even get that right! ) I was without furniture without beds for my children, when the furniture finally did come One of the headboards was cracked so we had to wait an additional six days for my bed it to be replaced worst service ever never again want to shop at Ashley furniture at any location they are quick to take your money but in no hurry to give you what you paid for or to fix any of the mistakes they have made!I would not recommend this chain store to anyone!

Absolutely horrendous customer service. I called for info on a leather powered loveseat WITH ITEM number. While I called the store directly I was directed to their national call center where the rep was totally ignorant of my request and finally declared that "oh you called the Palm Desert store. " Da, yea. She transferred me; someone answered in less than the 10 minute call center holding time, and EVEN THEN the salesman couldn't answer my simple question and placed me, yet again, on hold. I hung up.
Excellent service! Janice Was very helpful! Great listener, really wanted us to get what we wanted with our specific needs. She helped us find what we were looking for. She was not pushy at all gave us our time when making a decision. Happy customers!

We buy our furniture here and I love their stuff and so far what we get had been the same as what was on the floor. I have been to other places where what is delivered is less quality than what we looked at. And the prices are reasonable. We have had great interaction with salesman David Abraham, I believe is his name. Nice guy, not pushy and listens to your needs. Not a slick kinda guy like some of them that stand around. A very real person working to make a living like the rest of us. The only reason the store gets four stars and not 5 is because when we made our selections, the management just was so slow in honoring discounts or adding in my store credit. After 2 hours, we just left and didn't buy anything. Now they would have lost the sale if David had not been so kind to us. He called us and apologized and we told him we would be back. And we did after a couple of weeks and he had still kept our order. But again, he gives it to management and one decides to take a break and the other gets on the phone "with a customer". And we wait for another hour. We watched all this and we are in customer service and we don't treat people like that. It was not busy at all. The other sales folks just were standing around looking at us. Made us feel uncomfortable, but David deserved the sale. Then it took forever for them to give me my store credit and I had to explain why I had a store credit. Jeez..really?? Finally we were able to finish and if we go back it will only be because of David. Good salesman, good prices, good product, bad management team.

Walking into the store i seen Monalisa welcome me into the store and even though i didn't get to purchase anything yet I'm still going back and making an appointment with Monalisa when i financially get more settle with my place for my son bed set. I was so happy with my costume service here at Ashley furniture in palm desert. Monalisa was polite, friendly and so very helpful we purchase a sectional sofa and thanks to Monalisa help and good judgment we left happy and our living room is completely and feels more at home. I will be referring all my family and friends because there is nothing like a home feeling complete and comfortable with my family.

My husband and I are doing some home improvement projects and we were in the market for some new furniture. We stopped into Ashley's after he got off work and were immediately greeted by Derrick. We brought our teenage children with us and set them free in the store. Derrick was very patient with us as everyone had a different opinion, he was knowledgeable and helped our family decide on a couch, loveseat, recliner, a dining room table and an awesome coffee table. We left very pleased with our purchase and look forward to bringing it home. This is our second time purchasing from this location and they always take care of us. We will be back again to finish our project.
Incorrect order and constant marketing calls - I shopped one time at this store and ended up purchasing from another location closer to Los Angeles. They ended up delivering an incorrect item. They corrected this by redelivering the correct item. However, since then, I receive constant marketing calls from them. When they call, I request to be removed from their calling list, but they tell me that they do not have an option to remove anyone. This is a terrible customer experience as warrants a single star review.

I never write reviews and I had the best professional experience and relaxing purchase of a sofa I really wanted. Mona took the time to help me make a decision on a sofa I will cherish for life, with her it was a no pressure sale. She knew what to show me after I told her what I was looking for. This review is for the pricing(bait & switch) policy only. Currently the store is promoting a 50% off sale on EVERYTHING in the store. There is a large poster hanging next to the front door. I found a chair with a large red price sticker of $399 on it. I assumed it would be 50% off. WRONG! The discount is off the suggested retail price which is also on the tag in very small print. That number was $699. Does Ashley think we are stupid? I have purchased furniture at this store. I have no complaints on the quality and the prices I paid, but this to me is a scam regarding this current sale pricing.

Although the ad was false the saleswoman, Monalisa, was very nice and respectful of our particular needs. If it wasn't for the sincerity we felt from her we would have gone elsewhere. When you give out flyers that state " everything in the entire store" is 50% off, no fine print, and then the customer says ok I want this $4,000.00 bed and you say " oh, except for that which you want". That is false advertising at its best, or worst, depending on which side of the deal you're on.

If I could do zero stars I would. They have the worst customer service ever !! Ordered a living room set then on delivery day they only delivered the sofa and loveseat. The coffee and end tables were on back order. They kept giving us different dates of the re delivery. I would call and try to talk to someone and it was nearly impossible. They ignored emails. Horrible service!!! We ended up asking for our money back. Who knows how long that will take !

We purchased a sectional and dining room table and chairs. the furniture just delivered, the kitchen table guide broke while trying to store the middle leaf. I would not recommend the brand. The people at the store were professional and courteous. As you warned by others, there is no return. DO not sign the document for delivery until you make sure nothing is damaged.

Anyways we found some couches of interest but instantly realized there was a 40% markup on prices and a lot of red tape. The had so many different price break downs that our associate had to get clarification from 3 different people. We left to find a more honest and ethical business to work with.

Our salesman Gabriel was very knowledgeable about the furniture we looked at, he was not at all pushy like a lot of furniture stores we have been to. He is an assist to Ashley HomeStore which is in Palm Desert I recommend him highly if you go to Ashley be sure and ask for Gabriel , You will not be disappointed.!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate this place with an absolute passion.
So on Sunday i order a dining table with 6 chair and the server, the person that helped me told me they only had four chairs available and they will be delivered with the table and the server by April 16th and that they will have to order the other two from the warehouse and they will be delivered to me on May 16th i accepted, so i got the table and server delivered but no chairs at all i wasn’t home because i was working and my brother-in-law received the stuff and i told him to ask them about the chairs and the delivery guys told me nobody told them anything about chairs. I call the store and the lady that helped me told me that the guy that helped me wrote on the sister to get all the chairs on May 16th which he didn’t mention that, anyway long story short the table was broken, they exchanged it but the other one was damage as well, after calling and going to the store i got the chairs on April 19th, chairs are defective now i’m waiting for them to call me and confirm an appointment with a technician to go inspect the table and chairs. First time buying here and so far it has been hell. Worst experience ever

How to put one star and they don't even deserve that just want to help you guys out please do not buy furniture from here we bought two couches and like a living room set and we totally got ripped off and then again we actually ordered a bed and a $1,500 dining room set and the dining room set was warped and they brought the wrong one we had actually get it took him back three times and I'll post a picture of what happened to the couch within the first week I started ripping so please just avoid this place altogether people I don't want you guys have the headaches I did and also the table legs broke so I had to rig them
I went to Ashley Furniture with my Boyfriend to look for our kids furniture. Bryan was very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. Bryan made our day with his patience and understanding of what we needed. I highly recommend this store to everyone. Guest service was outstanding.

Bryan Richards was our furniture specialist. He was very professional and experienced. He knew exactly what look my wife and I were going for and which colors and styles would go best with our home. All of the other employees we came in contact with were very courteous and welcoming. I had a bad experience but decided to return to Ashley and my sales person was Ken. He was very knowledgeable and asked prevalent questions. In my opinion this job seems to be below his pay grade. He was very informative about the deals being offered and I liked the credit program as I normally do this at Sears buying appliances. Ken is head and shoulders above regular sales people and I would gladly recommend him to anyone shopping at Ashley. Someone who truly cares and has the honesty and integrity to hand me his phone number if I had ANY questions WOW! Thank you Ken.

Never expect to get your furniture delivered all at once! Took months to get my full bedroom set delivered, they would deliver the headboard one month, months later one night stand would come, couple months after the other night stand ect. For my dinning room table the delivery people broke the table as they were putting it together. . . I could not keep count of how many times I confirmed my contact information and they always had it wrong! Which would make delivery confirmation a nightmare.
I will only buy my furniture from Ashleys furniture.

Excellent store to shop for furniture. Our salesman Andy Garcia was very helpful and we lucked out by catching the last day of the sale and got 50% off of our purchase. Having dinning room table and chairs and rug delivered in 2 weeks. So far so good .
Just purchased a sectional, in tables, sofa table and dinning room set. Julio was our salesman. He was amazing he answered all our questions, very patient with us, not pushy at all. Our furniture was delivered on time not damages no mix ups...very happy with our purchase, will definite be back...Ask for Julio...great person to work with very knowledgable.
We purchased a sofa bed at Ashley and the process was pleasant and seamless. The salesman was very efficient and not over imposing. Delivery was on time and the sofa was in perfect condition. They have a nice selection and quality at good prices.
Update: Extremely poor customer service at Ashley Furniture/Ashley HomeStore. We feel completely ripped-off! Stay clear of deceptive salesman Hector Guillen. Don't count on ineffective store manager Bryan Richards to assist with anything because he is really just a joke. And I'm convinced that corporate manager "John Santos" is a phony name, because he never returned any of our many calls. We will NEVER buy from them again and we will ALWAYS advise people to stay away from Ashley Furniture in Palm Desert. Read all of the reviews here on yelp. I even advise reading Steph V's review, dated 9/13/2017.
WAY OVER PRICED... LOW QUALITY
Worst customer service ever! Purchase was a disaster on all levels.
Absolutely the worst customer service ever! The furniture we ordered as an anniversary gift to each other for our bedroom was delivered damaged and was different than what was promised. They refused to take the furniture back even though it was broken. The headboard wouldn't fit into the side rails. So the headboard has been leaning against the wall since September. The nightstands were supposed to have USB ports and didn't. The mattress we ordered was so much firmer than it was in the store. The storage bed couldn't be used because the adjustable platform made the bed so high I could barely get into bed. I am 5'7"! It was above my belly button once it was al out together. The worst part was the salesman wound call us back. The store manager said the furniture is sold As Is! Well we called our credit card company and they honored our refund. Then Ashley sent us a nasty gram that we owed them the money again. Their plan is to turn us in to the credit agency. I am currently on the phone with corporate to try to talk to the store managers boss, I have been on hold for over 20 min so far! This all took place at the Rohnert park, ca home store
I came in looking for a sofa and was so turned off by Becky hovering over my husband and I, following us around the store, we left. This is not good customer services at all. I understand the importance of tenacity and selling, but this was borderline stalking. We left the store and will never return.
Although very friendly the store has a very clingy staff that follows you everywhere in the store and literally creeps up on you and therefore you feel like you are being watched constantly. Annoying and takes away from the pleasure and fun of shopping. The furniture is expensive and sales very confusing but also misleading oftentimes. Not much originality in style and overall merchandise is deprived of originality. Other stores like MOR furniture do a better job.
We had a wonderful furniture shopping experience thanks to David Abrams. If he ever asks you for 5 min of your time and you are actually there to shop for furniture, do it and you will not regret it! He's a people person and will definitely listen to you. You can be honest and tell him what you are interested in, and he will not beat it around the bush or convince you into buying something outside of your price range. What he will tell you is the quality of a piece and show you other pieces at different price points and leave it to you to decide its worth to you. If you are reallllly interested in buying multiple pieces, he will work his magic--and I mean WORK! So good, that you might ask someone to slap you because you think it's all a dream. We came in on a Wednesday night and he did not rush our time at all, even though we had stayed past closing time. If you would like to work with someone who isn't so uptight and pushy but can definitely help you what you're looking for, David is the man. We will return to this location for more furniture as long as David is there!

Stay away from this store and this corporation Emailing corporate and customer service doesn't help they never respond. Absolute worst First time ever purchasing from Ashley Furniture store and last I purchased Maysville counter height table set on 12/21/18 it was delivered on 12/29/18.After it was set up I noticed that the table top was already peeling. Chairs are uneven. So I'm thinking this set was brought from the bottom of the warehouse barrel. I immediately contacted Ashley customer care sent pictures and they replied I was eligible for an exchange, ok but now what? Not hearing from them , I called again on 1/3/19. Lady said oh yes order is just now going through but we won't be able to deliver til January 24, 2019. Now I'm waiting another month! On 1/12/19 I get a voicemail from a Serena staying she was calling to discuss my upcoming delivery. Call her back same day, she says "Oh ok can I call you back?"When she hung up I believe her intentions was to never call me back. On 1/20/19 I called her back didn't get her on the line but I talked to a TamaRay (if I'm pronouncing it right) who told me my set would be delivered on 1/24/19. 1/23/2019 Received a Voicemail from Rudy stating they checked the table set and it was damaged so now I have to wait Feb 14, 2019 for my set. A set that mind you is paid for but so far its not worth the price I paid nor do I have. I asked Rudy what can Ashley do abut my inconvenience, he said to call the Store. Now I smell a run around coming and after reading all the bad reviews with the Colton location I know that will be a waste of time and energy. Ashley won't stand behind their commitment to their products. I received my table today. But because it's from Ashley's I don't even want it now after waiting two months and I will never ever never EVER! step foot in one again. And I'll make sure I tell EVERYONE I know to never shop here
BEWARE. The Ashley Furniture store in Palm Desert does not let you return ANYTHING, EVER. We didn't know this when we bought a bed/headboard/bench and a mattress. The somewhat deceitful saleman Hector Guillen told us a half dozen times "you have three days, you have three days, you have three days" to return the mattress. (The mattress was our main concern. ) He never told us that we cannot return anything, ever. They are just typical salesmen. Spoke a couple of times with the manager Bryan Richards, and am still waiting a call-back from his supervisor John Santos. (Probably won't hear from him). You can only cancel an order before its delivered. The "three days" Hector was referring to was towards damaged furniture only, and then that requires a technician to come out and approve it. We made a mistake and are now stuck with a mattress that is not to our liking. We want others to be aware, too. Very poor customer service at Ashley Furniture! There are other furniture stores out there with way better sales staff. We've learned now, too.

Furniture is lovely sales people are great but after purchase their delivery and corporate customer service falls apart. Completely make you feel like your concerns (which they ask you for) in followup calls fall on deaf ears. Will never purchase from them again.
It might've been a better experience if I had a salesperson that knew what the hell they were talking about. I'm looking for a $6000 mattress & the guy's determined to sell me pillows & doesn't know how the adjustable base works so I can't try out the mattress I'm interested in. I'm outta here.
I hate thos place not only did they send me the wrong size bed but they fucked up my shit. I called several times but management did not take my calls I called corporate and of course they could not help me either. Is there not a place I can call to get my issues resolved? I will never return and I will never recommend this place ever!!!!

I went into the Palm Desert store looking for a couple pieces of furniture and was greated by a sales man by the name of Isi. I told him what I was looking for and he help me with plenty of different choices. Isi is very knowledgeable and more than helpful. He definitely made my buying experience a great one!
