The in person customer service is iffy, you either get someone so aggressive with their sales pitch end up making me feel very uncomfortable or someone very relaxed and easy to talk to. When it comes to getting in contact with the store it is impossible. The store number redirects to a call center and I even had the call center call them and the still didn't answer their phone.
I give Ashley a one star because it’s the lowest I can give them. I have been a customer for over 15 years and have never experienced anything like what I went through on 9/15/21. My bar stools were delivered and when my 6 year old daughter (who was excited about our new bar stools) sat on one of them to eat cereal she fell flat on her face because the leg broke off of the chair while she was sitting on it (she only weighs 57 pounds). I could not believe it I was in shock when I saw my daughters face all bloody. My husband and myself got her all cleaned up and got her medical attention and I ran to Ashley’s in Palmdale Ca to advise them of how upset I was and what had just happened and to my daughter. They showed concern and was very upset tht it happened. Moral of the story when they deliver and set up you furniture inspect it and make sure it was put together properly.
They don't tell you the truth that if there is anything wrong with your furniture or anything wrong you can't get your money back and NO ONE in the store will help you, you have to call them the main office but no one will answer your calls.
I went to Ashley furniture around 5:00 pm yesterday at Palmdale location and it was the worst experience ever, sales people ignored me as I was looking at living room sets. Most of them were talking to each other, there was a lady with curls on her long hair talking about her hair with the other colleagues and no one ask me if I needed help, not to mention that it was not a busy day, there were just a few customers. I'm a customer already have purchased over $4000 dollars at the Northridge location, but there was a huge difference between the workers from Northridge store, I will definitely will go back to the valley to make another purchase with my previous sales person.
If I could give this store a zero star I would. The worst customer service ever. I had to cancel my order because due to my measurements the couches weren't going to fit good and look good as the area was too small for them. When I went to the store the assured me that they were going to fit nicely based on my measurements, of course they just cared to make the sale. When I came home I looked them up online and realized that they were too big for my living room space. I called and had my order canceled, it has been 17 days and no refund has been made everytime I call is a long wait to speak with some one and everyone has a different story. Refund my money what is the hold up? Never in my life would I go a purchase at this store.
We purchased a $6k plus bedroom set to include $409.99 setup and delivery fee. We scheduled our delivery for 8/15, and scheduled the time when their scheduler called us on 8/14. The delivery time of 1:45 pm was confirmed 2x on 8/14. On 8/15, Sunday morning at 7am we received a text that our bedroom set is going to be delivered in 30 minutes, sure enough the truck parked on our driveway at 7:30 am. The $409.99 setup and delivery does not include moving our old bedroom set due to COVID, so my husband scrambled to move our old bedroom set out of our room (which we planned to do at 9am cause our delivery was supposed to be at 1:45 pm). Tried to call Ashley Store all day Sunday and all throughout Monday, no answer, I guess customer service doesn’t exist at the Palmdale store. My husband stopped by to explain how inconvenient we were because of the delivery messed up, the manager just said we will research what happened so it will not happen to others. You’re worried about your next sale???? You got our sale so you don’t even try to make it up? I hope people will read how incompetent your service is and go to other furniture store. We paid $409.99 to be inconvenienced, I hope I will never need another furniture while I’m in the AV. I will also notify your corporate office so they know how your store in Palmdale operates.
I ordered a Sofa and was told It would be delivered on the 10th. They called me the day of and told me they had to reschedule. Then I called on the date i was rescheduled for and they magically have no record of a delivery for that day. An absolute joke. STAY FAR AWAY
Absolute liars! They promise delivery within a few weeks and conveniently reschedule for a few months after without an explanation. I hate when people take advantage of me, especially when we asked the sales rep if he is 100% sure the furniture will be delivered on time. What a bunch of buffoons, take your business elsewhere!
Ashley furniture is not the home furnishings i thought we purchased. There's scarp material holding the wood together. We paid good money for this furniture im very disappointed i would not recommend any family or friends to buy from Ashley furniture, because your not getting quality furniture for that reason I give them 1 star .who's manufacturing their furniture
Don't buy from Ashley! Spent more than 4k, bought dining table + mirror. Both things came defective and when we went to store to get it exchanged. They said we will have to send tech team and they will repair. Why would you spend so much and get repaired things.. If you want repaired things go to Offer up or Craigslist. Ashley's quality and customer service is bad. I feel like I wasted 4k in trash can. Again DO NOT BUY any from Ashley.
