I shopped like the typical male, walked in, described the item i was looking for ,the representative showed me the exact item i was looking for, and i was out in less than 10 minutes. The sectional will be delivered soon, so ill have to wait to review the product itself later.
Very patient and helpful … only issue I had was I wasn’t told about the delivery fee until I asked why it was so expensive. But we also didn’t have the option to pick up since the warehouse is in Stockton and they only offer delivery. Seems unfair to only offer delivery then be forced to pay a fee of $100
The delivery process has been awful. Twice they set up delivery and never showed. No call. Waited both times all day for the delivery.
I recently purchased a sectional from a nearby Ashely’s store. When making my purchase I chose a protection plan. A few weeks after the couch arrived I was stabbed by staples coming out of the corner, tried to use the online warranty to have someone repair it and the system would not allow me to upload picture that is required by them to complete the report. Therefore I was unable to complete my report. The cushions are very easy to clean. Washer friendly, but when we put the cushions back in the covers 3/6 zippers had broken. The cushions do not hold shape well at all and I’m constantly fighting with them. I have purchased a ridiculous amount of pieces from them, this being a waste of my money. 2 years later I’m needing a new couch. Accessories and other furniture from there have stood the test of time, but their upholstery items are not quality at all. I will never buy upholstered items from this company again

We love our new bed frame from Ashley. I have to admit I was cautious shopping here since I had heard some stories that weren’t great. The purchasing process at my local Redding store was easy. The price point for the quality was good. Delivery was delayed by a couple of weeks and I paid extra for set up which went smoothly. Overall, we had a good experience and we are very happy with our purchase. I would shop at Ashley again.
I went in and bought a whole living room set two bedroom sets and a dining room set. My payment came in before my furniture did. Bought my furniture the end of July and I still have received all my furniture. And from the voicemail I received it won’t be here until December 😡 never again will hit from Ashley’s. Below shows the 2 voicemail that they left me I responded to both of them. But we shall see if the come on the next delivery date 😒😡

They will sell sections of your couch to people closer if you live further out of area. We had paid in full for a couch and was told only one section was Out of Stock. When it came time to have it delivered, we called because they didn't contact us as they said they would the 72, 48, 24 hrs before hand nor the day of. They stated they were sold out of even more sections, that they delivered to closer customers first. So we canceled our order which was an ordeal as they stated they couldn't do refunds. We we did get our money back and went to rent a center for a cheaper Ashley couch that has completely fallen apart. Which is ok because we spent $800 on it instead of $2400. I will never do business with this company again.
Shaun was awesome, he was very knowledgeable about what they available in store and online. He answered every question I had and helped me save a ton of money with the deals they had going on. Everyone in the store was super friendly, I will absolutely shop there again.

I had the best service at Ashley's in Redding. My sales person Reid was amazing I went in just to look he gave me my space and let me do my thang I ended up walking out with a temper that I love. I would recommend everyone to go here and ask for Reid. I will be returning for more.

This is a very fun store to go shopping in. There is not a lot of pure pressure here from the sales associates. They always have discounts if you ask. There is plenty of parking.
My wife and I buy a dresser assured buy the man it was in stock and would be delivered within 2 weeks. The delivery day came and it never showed up. No phone call no contact to tell me anything. So we call and we're told it's on back order now with no eta on it back in stock. So we asked for a refund they told us it would take 72 hours. Waited a week no refund called back and was told it was never canceled. Will not do business with them at this location.

Our experience was quick and easy. Unfortunately the delivery charges were out of whack but we got the furniture we wanted. Now we wait for a delivery date. Waiting, waiting, waiting.....

What a joke they randomly call to schedule a appointment to fix their issue with out checking with you When you call back to reschedule no one answers the phone 😡😡😡 When you actually talk to consumer service good luck Go some where else. Don’t buy anything from here

So far not a great experience. The only positive so far is the sales person Ron or Rob was very easy to work with. However the delivery has now been delayed twice. I had rescheduled my original delivery time because a section of sofa was not in. It was scheduled for today, and confirmed it over text. Only to receive a confusing text with a different delivery date late yesterday, no phone call. This morning I called the help number listed on the text, it was a call center in another country that could do nothing and that was a waste of time. I can tolerate delays but bad communication and disregard for my time when I set aside part of my day to receive a delivery is disrespectful.

This is our second experience purchasing furniture from our local Ashley showroom. We were attended to promptly and with friendliness. We knew the piece we were looking for and were shown it right away. The staff were helpful and informative. Plus we were pleasantly surprised to find the delivery timeline was much quicker ordering in store versus online. You also get to sit on the furniture and check for comfort, not just looks. Great shopping experience!

We found LANE to be helpful, offering us pertinent information and answering questions thoroughly. We purchased pieces from Darcy Collection and we'll definitely contact him for any additional purchases.

They charged us for couches without us, signing paperwork and agreeing on a price. They were supposed to refund us for a warranty on another couch and they never did and they also were supposed to refund us for the difference on these couches and the deal we were supposed to get and they never did. I have called several times and they keep making remarks that they’re going to Wine in the mail and they’re so sorry and this and that and they don’t do anything and they just continue to not remedy the problem we haven’t even even signed for These couches that they charged us for and one of them is sinking in and falling apart and it’s supposed to be like a 3000+ dollar couch. We have warranties for the wrong couches we’ve never been refunded for the price we over Instead of getting a deal. This store is absolutely terrible extremely unprofessional, and can’t even manage to do their job. I will be making formal complaints with the FTC. You always say you’ll take care of it. You even offered to send me wine as a joke to my husband before I ever even said anything to you guys because you know how ridiculous this is and you keep not taking care of it it. This place is terrible.
My furniture was delivered with damage and I refused to accept it, their warehouse refused my refusal and was dealing with Warranty to repair or replace damaged furniture. I had to follow up on it due to their lack of communication and delays. Now I'm being told that they'll refund me but charge me for the delivery even though I refused the delivery from the beginning but they refused my refusal. Never going to trust Ashley furniture store, and will never recommend them to anyone. Now I'm waiting for them to pick up the damaged furniture that I have refused to accept from the beginning and haven't been able to use it.update: yesterday I found out that Ashley is delivering an exchange of the damaged furniture, but i already requested to cancel the claim and to pick up furniture that I no longer want from Ashley and requested for Ashley Furniture to pick up their furniture that i have asked to return and don't want it anymore. So now they've refused my request to return the furniture,that I refused in the first place, plus they refused my refusal of the furniture when it was delivered with damages on the new furniture. Now I have to wait until they decide to pick up damaged furniture that I refused but at the same time Ashley Furniture is trying to deliver the exchange after I have requested for the claim to be cancelled and return the furniture that I no longer want. Ashley Furniture's lack of communication and keeping their word on calling me is horrible experience and lack of accountability for their lack of professionalism and handling things in a timely manner. As posted earlier, Ashley Furniture warehouse refused my refusal of the damaged furniture that got delivered to my house,that was a tell tale sign for me that Ashley Furniture has issues within there company. Again I regret in doing business with Ashley Furniture in the first place, but lesson learned and never doing business with Ashley Furniture ever again plus once this is resolved I'm closing my Ashley Furniture account and will cut up my Ashley Furniture credit card...update 4/1/24 I'm not going to pay for the forced mattress that they're trying to make me keep after i refused everything from the beginning, be very careful with this furniture store ,they like to change their deals and they don't follow their own policy.their
Ashley has good range in their selection, and a great value. We were shopping for couches, and we found several that we liked in terms of look and comfort, and we were able to walk away with a great deal. The one thing that will keep them from getting five stars is that when you pay for delivery, they do not take away your old furniture.
My family and I are new to the Redding area. We went to Ashley Furniture in search of items for the majority of our home. The entire team was wonderful however, we’d like to give special kudos to Shaun for his exceptional service. Shaun was a total professional and extremely patient with us. Furnishing a home can be a lengthy process and he was such a blessing. We are not completely finished, but will continue to make our purchases at Ashley! We have been extremely satisfied!

Go experience at time of purchase good price but then they failed! Purchased love seat and on the date of delivery they said they didn’t have room on the truck so we would have to take a different delivery date the only problem is that I took the day off for the delivery and couldn’t get the day off on the date they picked. Terrible customer service!

Now, I know this is not the Ashley Furniture norm, but I stopped in to look at items for a new local office. I was shopping for items when I was met by the store manager who informed me they were having a 90% off sale. I absolutely enjoyed each person on the team as they were helpful, super fun and funny, I laughed as they continued to bring out new treasures, so which I quickly fell in love with and purchased. This staff rocks!

Worst experience with a furniture delivery ever! 3 rooms of furniture were purchased, including an entertainment center and a sleeper sofa. The entertainment center, they wouldn't put together because apparently they don't do that but we were not told this when we purchased it so it was a big surprise that we had to put it together ourself. The full-size sleeper sofa, the delivery drivers decided it would not fit through the doorway of the room it was intended so they wouldn't even try. Didn't even take it off the truck. Called the store the same day, said they would reschedule a delivery and make sure they tried this time. Was told we'd receive a call letting us know when to expect it. Didn't receive a call, so we called to find out. Got a call that the sofa was on backorder, so it wouldn't be delivered for a couple of weeks. What happened to the one that was on the truck, at our house? Did they give it to someone else? Called customer service to make a complaint. Called the 800 number I was given to make this complaint and was hung up on by the agent who answered before I even finished my sentence. LOWSY delivery service. We will NEVER buy from Ashley again! Update: Forgot to mention that one of the towers for the entertainment center was also on backorder. It was finally delivered by due to the holidays we didn't get around to assembling it until last month, Jan 2024. Got everything out only to find out the pre-assembled part was assembled incorrectly and was unusable. Called customer service to get this resolved and here we are a month later still waiting to hear what they're going to do about it. We call and call and call and keep getting the runaround. We just want a replacement tower and for them to take away the defective one. The trash service in our area won't take garbage that isn't in a city supplied trash can so we'd have to drive it over to the dump to dispose if it. I don't think we should have to spend time and effort to dispose of their trash. Anyway, we really want to have to talk to anyone from Ashley Furniture anymore. We'll call one more time and if we don't get definitive resolution, they are forcing us to report them to the State Attorney's office and to the BBB. I don't know how they stay in business.

Be careful if buying a mattress here. We spent 1k on a twin mattress. It came tightly packed in a box and rolled out like an uneven pancake. It was supposed to expand within 48 hours, but it never did. It is totally unusable. The first words from the store was "there's not likely anything we can do." Customer service is poor to non existent here. I bought a similar mattress from Mattress Firm earlier in the year and it's great. I won't make this mistake again.
So it turns out Shaun of Ashley Furniture in Redding knows a lot about mattresses! You know buying a mattress can be a little frightening. But with some information from us about out sleeping habits and body aches, Shaun was able to find just the right mattress for us. And Tempurpedic is a great product with a great warranty. And we managed to marry the mattress with the bedroom set we like. Our epic search is over! We financed a fair price with easy terms. The store was able to work with us. So Shaun is an informed friendly salesman. He really knows his products and how to get them into a person's life. The Redding branch of Ashley is an excellent choice.

She answered all our questions and even helped us figure out if we could color match a coffee table to the couch we decided on. She is very easy to get along with, I highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone who is not only knowledgeable about what Ashley has to offer but personable and charismatic as well. We were in search of a sleeper sofa for the company we were going to have within a week. The minute we walked in, we were asked if we needed assistance with no pressure. Helped us pick exactly what we needed in the time frame we wanted. Russ made sure to go above and beyond to make sure delivery and purchase went super smooth. We will definitely go back with him specifically. Update on our review. Unfortunately this has not had a Happy ending. 1) The sofa didn't arrive at the time it was needed. Not only did it not come within the time frame emailed to us, we did not receive a phone to let us know. We called 1 hour before the end of the time frame to find out it had been scheduled for the next day. We later found out that they found out in the morning that there was damage to that sofa, so that is why it was not delivered. However we lost a whole day. 2) When delivery guys came who were pleasant, but did not notice that the truck was pulling on a phone line Thankfully nothing happened. Ashley did get a hold of us to cover any costs this may have caused. So that was appreciated. 3) Because of the unfortunate set of events we were told that the delivery fee was going to be deducted or some kind of compensation and to this date 11.14.23 no compensation has been given to us. We have made multiple phone calls but no response, so needless to say this turned out to be a bad experience for us.

Helpful and pretty good quality
Generally speaking, I'm not a fan of the style of furniture Ashley carries. But I'm moving into my own apartment soon, and I needed a bed and a sofa of some kind. I looked online, I looked on Amazon and I visited the other furniture stores in the area. I checked prices and researched the different mattress companies. I found that Ashley offers the best quality, the best prices and the best warranties in our area. Most other furniture companies have no warranties to speak of, but Ashley stands behind their products and it doesn't cost extra! Ashley offers flexible shipping dates (my apartment is being renovated so I don't have a move-in date yet). They also offer delivery, assembly and a set-up service for one fee. All the other furniture stores I checked out had several complaints about delivery--the delivery never showed up, didn't show up in the time slot agreed on, delivered the wrong product, and were sloppy and disrespectful if they did any assembly. I don't want to fight those battles! I am super thrilled with the choices Ashley offered and the decision I made with my bed and my sofa. Shaun was the salesperson who helped me and was super easy to work with. I recommend doing your homework before you shop, it makes it so much easier!

Very good experience... I told the salesman, Russell Stulir, what I was looking for. He showed me a few choices. I chose a love seat recliner with cup holders, storage in the middle, and usb ports. I also choice an oversize chair that matched. At checkout, found out the oversize chair was discontinued and no longer available. Disappointed, but otherwise a good experience. Check our was quick and easy.

Our patio furniture is totally wobly and they won't come back out to fix it. Absolutley terrible! Don't spend your money of cheap crap made in Vietnam. Try to buy stuff made in the US. We went in a number of times before finally purchasing the couches. Even set up a cart with two different associates. Before purchasing the couch on the fourth visit. Despite all four people being present when we finally purchased the couches we never worked with the same person twice. It doesn’t really bother me as a consumer but I’m sure the first guy we worked with may feel cheated as I don’t know who ultimately got the commission. However, all of them were pleasant to work with.

Purchased a sofa, couch, chair, and ottoman. Also, purchased warranty as salesman said couch will be replaced if it cannot be repaired if anything happens to it. Noticed that decking on couch is ripped away and barely holding on by a thread 14 mos after purchase. It is just my husband and I, no kids in home so not sure why this would be happening except from poor quality. I phoned Ashley customer service and they sent a repair man out who said it needed to be fixed. Didn't hear any follow up so called back after a week. Was then told by customer service that couch was to be replaced and look for email within 48 hrs. Never received email so called again. Was then told by customer service that it's beyond the 12 mo warranty and need to call a diffnumber for the warranty I purchased. Phoned that number and was told decking not covered! Phoned Ashley furniture back and was told sorry but repairman should have never been sent and should not have been told I would get new couch. So I then phoned the redding store and talked with my salesman who was going to talk to manager and make this right. Christian reached out and said he'd call warranty it that didn't work possibly try to authorize new couch, or give me a repair tech number to have it fixed. Again warranty reached out after speaking with Christian to tell me decking not covered. Have heard no follow up from Christian. Reached out to him on 2/27/23 via email asking for the repair tech number, still waiting for a response. So basically spent almost 2k on couch that barely lasted a year and can't sit on one whole side. My last couch lasted 10 years and survived 3 kids. Poor quality and warranty purchase is garbage.

I've tried to use the "PROTECTALL" warranty and every time I did they came up with a reason NOT to cover the issue. $500 for a fake warranty wtf I will never shop their again. Really a great experience. DJ was very helpful and professional. Only reason for the 4 star is its a little missleading on the sale price of 50% off. There was Nothing I found there 50% off. Must have been maybe a pen or something. But all and all was a good purchase and really love the furnature we ordered.
Terrible service!! It's been nearly 3 months since ordering and paying for an entertainment center of which I still don't have all the pieces to because the wrong items continually get shipped to me and broken on top of it. I had to go to the store six times, call multiple times and customer service was unable to send me to the escalation department because they were too busy. It shouldn't take nearly 3 months to get what I paid for!! Additionally, I'm disabled and specifically said I needed delivery and set up which their website indicates is available I paid $199 for it however they delivered Furniture I had to install myself. Makes no sense! And no indication of any type of refund for the misunderstanding apparently or the inconvenience of having to hire a handyman to put stuff together on top of what I already paid. But Ashley Furniture has beautiful furniture!

Bought my furniture set on January 6, paid cash! It’s Feb 8 and I still don’t have all the pieces I purchased. I’ve been given 3 delivery dates, with no show/no call and today when I called them AGAIN, I found out it will be another month! This company has done NOTHING to make this right. I will never buy from them again!
I went in today and purchased a set for our master bedroom, Russ helped me and was so patient and helpful. He made the process very easy going and with no pressure at all. He allowed me to browse and take my time. Never any pressure or stress! I haven’t received it yet but it will be here within days of ordering. So thankful for a sales person to be so kind, and Russ truly went above and beyond for us! Thank you Russ for all your help!! Made a stressful purchase into a fun one.

Promised delivery date was missed 2 times and then I purchased the same product at another retailer without mentioning the mishaps from another vender. I had my product from the competitor in less than 24 hours. Would not recommend Ashley furniture. Many other retailers sell a better product for similar price. If your dead set on Ashley furniture purchase from a different vendor as they all sell Ashley pieces. There warranty offered is nowhere as robust as the competition

Do NOT pay for Premium Delivery Service! The bed I purchased for my 88 year old mother was delivered yesterday. The delivery men were rude (no personality and did not want to communicate with my mother), blocked the neighbor's driveway with their truck, and did not adjust the height of the bed for my mother when she asked them about it (bed legs are adjustable). ALSO, they did not test the bed or show her the bed was in working order before they left. The man just told her "we are done" and put his phone up to her to sign. Highly recommend this Ashley for your mattress shopping.
Store is setup nice but hee company itself is a joke tells u one thing and does another. Tells you 2 years intrest free ha one year later fat bill coming your way call the store no help. Call higher ups they will get back to you. But never do. Messes up your credit. O and the delivery and set up is a joke. No one spoke English. Order was wrong 3 different times when it showed up and things showed up broken never again.

My experience with Ashley furniture the store in redding ca was good . The employee have done everything they could to try to solve the issue but corporate is the issue. The reason behind the 1 star is corporate doesn't was to comply with the warranty. I have had the part person come out and look at my couch and tell me the couch is discontinued and not sure if we can get parts and that the bar is badly bent. My couch is breaking down and bars to frame is broke. I havent wven had my couch a year. Chair recliner don't want to fully close. One of my recliner is tilting and poping so bad. I should of been in a reslect. My couch has been dicontinued.. they want to take parts from other couches to fix my couch. If I wanted a refurbished couch I would of bought it that way I bought a new couch for a reason . This is the worst service I have ever had but a corporate office of any kind way. I feel bad for the people that has to work for the corporate people in redding office they try to make sure all there consumers are satisfied consumers But corporate office people don't care about there consumers I feel like it's all about the money for you corporate people .

We were amazed and surprised when we got a Delivery date for December 2nd when we purchased our couch online. Shortly after we received a text asking us if we could take delivery on 11/30 by 2 pm and we reply yes. This was 2 days earlier than expected. Then we received a follow up text saying wait for more delivery instructions. We logged in and it stated delivery by 2pm on 11/30. We waited and never received instructions or our order. Called customer service and the tell me we need to get a new delivery date of 12/08/22 because of back order. Why if it was on back order did we an email and text saying it was in stock and able to be delivered 2 days early? We are confused and now after speaking with customer service and logging back into check delivery date it still showing today as the delivery date. We want an email confirming our new delivery date of 12/08/22 and an explanation of why we were notified of early delivery just to be let down. What's the point there? Thank You for something we hope. The couch we ordered will be fine. In addition, we are now paying on an interest on this couch when we left the store we were pretty sure that we had a 0% interest deal for the first so many months. Read the small print y’all.

I purchased a few items from the Ashley's store in Redding. I canceled one of the items a few days afterwards and was never issued a refund. The store then tried to deliver the item I canceled while I was out of town. I had to file a dispute with the credit card company to get any resolution. After 3 months the store then issued a partial credit of about 2/3's of the price I paid. I called the store several times spoke with the manager and multiple associates about this, I was told this would be resolved months ago. At 4 months another refund was issued for the rest of the amount but I did not get credit on my credit card and the refund never made it to me. I filed another dispute that the credit card company conveniently closed without contacting me. I am now filing a third dispute because the money refunded was never credited to my card or refunded to me. The store says it has been refunded but no one can tell me where the credit went. I am now at over 6 months past date of purchase still trying to get money back for an item I never received. This will be the last time I shop at Ashley's or use Synchrony credit cards.

Purchased a very expensive table from this store with my wife. Sales associate convinced us to purchase a warranty with our table. The line he said that sold me was "Your kids can light it on fire and Ashley's will replace the entire table." So we wait two weeks for our table to be delivered. When delivered it only has 3 of the six chairs we purchased. So after talking to 4 different ppl on the phone and getting nowhere. We went down to the store. They assured us they would get us our chairs we payed for. Long story short 2 months later and two more visits to the store and many more calls we finally received what we payed for. But that's not all ppl! Remember that fantastic warranty they sold us? Well that was a complete lie. Within 6 months the whole top of the table started peeling. Looks terrible. Plus none of chairs sat level anymore. So we called the warranty company. They had a man from San Jose drive all the way up to redding. He had the wrong paint to try and touch up the table. Told us the chairs weren't covered under the warranty. Only blemishes are covered. Then proceeded to use the incorrect paint on our table. He didn't even paint all the blemishes plus used the wrong paint so now we have paint missing and dark spots on a table that cost almost 2k. Never ever ever will I spend another penny at Ashley's. I will advise every person I know until the day I die to take they're money elsewhere.
Shopping for the recliner matching my couch. I spoke with Shaun. He found the chair on the stoes website and lowered the price based on matching a lower price found at a different store. I purchased the chair and it's to be delivered in less than a week. The whole process was quick and easy. I left satisfied with the deal. I had a very good experience as I felt no pressure during my shopping and I considered the deal was fair.
Nice showroom with excellent products and staff. Our Sales person was Quintin Schmidt and he did an over the top excellent job listening to what we wanted and showing us what was available which resulted in our purchase of a reclining loveseat and rocker recliner. Kudos to his manager also.
Love everything about Ashley furniture. They worked with me on possible delivery dates twice, and on the price we paid. Everyone of the staff were friendly and answered all of our questions, and a big shout out to JT and Shawn how walked us through the whole procedure. Ashley furniture will be my go to for future furniture purchases.

I recently moved and lost my chase lounge couch cushion. I called to see how much it was going to take to replace it and to my surprise the telephone agent said they would replace it free as a courtsesy. I was happy till I received the couch cushion cover and no cushion. I called back and they rescheduled the cushion to be delivered. A month later and delivery due by date long over due, several calls, and still no cushion. I called again to find out it had not been ordered and I would have to wait another month. Absolutely horrible customer service on the phone and chat. It really seems they do not know what there doing. I did purchase the service warranty as well. I purchased two mattresses online one was defective. Would not return and did not charge me for five months. I filed complaint with the better business burrow. Finally charge me and I did not receive any communication from them. They sell garbage products. And there communication is just ridiculous. Trying to get straight answers out of them is like trying to talk to a wall. They say on there website they will return they don't. I will never purchase from them again. And I have to purchase a new mattress again.
The people were warm and responsive right at the door without being pushy. Lane was on top of it when we asked for a sleeper sofa. He found the perfect one and getting it delivered 4 days later was amazing! When I asked about financing he was very knowledgeable and made so easy to understand. We will definitely be back again because of the quality, service and decent prices!!
Christian our sales person had good product knowledge and worked with us to find the perfect fit to compliment our living room and our budget.
What a wonderful experience shopping here was. Cristian V. was so helpful and knowledgeable. He gave suggestions and offered customer feed back on the items we were looking for. Very pleased with our purchase and will be going back for our furniture needs in the future. It was so nice to have a sales rep who understood our needs and wasn't trying to sell us the highest priced items. Please give this man a raise and promotion, it's hard to find quality sale reps like him.
I purchased a very expensive sectional sofa with ottoman. The sale was quick and easy. However I waited over two months for the couch to be delivered. Just outside of one year Of owning the couch it looks awful, the entire set is piling very badly. I purchased the 5 year protection plan they offer, of course they state it covers basically anything and everything just to get you to purchase so they make a commission on the protection plan sale. However once making a claim on the sectional with Ashley furniture store they claim it’s outside of one year so they will not help with any repairs on the product, to contact the protection plan GBS. So I do that, upon making that claim GBS says that piling and seam seperation are NOT included in the plan! So now I’m stuck with this awful looking, tearing very expensive sectional. I recommend purchasing from a different store or not bothering to purchase the expensive protection plan they offer as “will cover anything that goes wrong with the product for 5 years”!

We were looking for a nice recliner or live-seat recliners with lumbar support. Russ was able to identify 2-3 models with the attributes we wanted. Russ was patient and allowed us to take our time with this decision. We are looking forward to the arrival of our live-sets recliner and end tables. Russ was great to work with and I will give him a call when next need assistance in furniture shopping.

Great holiday sales. Good furniture fir lots if different lifestyles for young and old. We gut my mom and recliner with controls on top of arm rest and not the side! Lighted cup holder too

Seems like a nice experience in the store. The salespeople will lie to you to secure a sale. Changed the furniture we had selected because we wanted something that was in the warehouse. However this was not in the warehouse. We were supposed to have delivery on 5/13. No one called or showed up. There is NO way to contact the local store. The number reroutes to corporate customer service. I was on hold for 1.5 hours. No answer. Tried twice never got through. Called the corporate office building and got a very nice receptionist who sent my call to the “escalation department” who informed me that they had no delivery scheduled on 5/13 and that the items I had selected were not in stock and were being ordered and had me set up a delivery date. The next available is 6/9. 1 month after the original delivery date (that was already 2 weeks from purchase). Have *never* spoken to anyone at the store in Redding or been able to get them on the phone. If you need the customer service department just go ahead and contact the home office and ask for escalation department. Do not expect the sales floor people to be honest with you. Get everything in writing. Even then don’t expect anything to be efficient or be able to contact this company after your purchase. Very disappointed. Have used Ashley for all major furniture purchases the last ten years or so but this is the last time for us.
Maybe actually send the furniture people buy. This is my 2nd time I didn't receive what I purchased. AWFUL store.
Store was clean. I arrived at opening and employees were more interested in standing and talking than to help me. The one guy I did talk with, reeked of cigarette smoke. I finally walked out and no one said a word. Bought elsewhere that day. Will never return.
First time buyer worst delivery ever, waiting over 5 months now just for my sofa set and to be honest I'm still currently waiting.... i can order stuff from oversea and be delivered within a month grantee. Never buy their online order shipping. Just go buy something in stock in store and pick it up yourself will be the best choice!
My salesperson was informative and professional. Wish there had been an example of the Darcy sofa in the store. Your employees are kind, eager and knowledgeable.
I would not recommend! The price of the furniture is not justified by the quality of the furniture. I received my couch broken. When i called to ask for options they said they can't do anything, not even a return, until the repair guy came to look at it. The guy came and began repairs but when I called and asked for a replacement they said they could no longer do that due to it having been repaired (a piece of wood glued to the broken pieces to hold it together). I have tried on several occasions to get this resolved and was promised return calls or emails countless times without ever hearing back from any of the people I had spoken to.
Katrina was extremely helpful in helping us find the furniture we were looking for and completing our purchase very efficiently. She excels in her sales and people skills.
The staff is very welcoming and attentive. They don't hover around too much while you're browsing but also stay within distance so you don't have to go looking for an associate! They are very upfront and transparent about all furniture costs including taxes, delivery, and protection plans. We have purchased a few pieces from them over the years and are always pleased with how quickly our items arrive! We always choose to look at Ashley's when shopping for our home!
Gloria was patient, explained everything, answered all questions, kept me informed at all times. She was wonderful to work with.

Lowest quality and does not honor warranty. Figured if I bought a $2000 couch it would last. Nope, elbow went right through the arm rest and I had to pay to throw it away.
Couch is even more impressive in person. Very comfy and I love it! The movers were polite and I didn't feel pressured into buying anything! That being said; I give 3 stars because the movers were 52 minutes late and I received no ETA call. (I was told I would be called) my window of delivery was 1pm-5pm no call or any form of communication. I found the number for customer service and was told they were going to be late. Im moving into a new place, took time off from work to do it...I waited (stayed put incase they showed up) and felt like I had my time wasted. I do not mind the movers being late, life happens. Please communicate that next time.

Employee’s will lie thru their teeth to make a sale. Be warned now….Well, greatly disappointed with Ashley after a great experience in store, they told me everything I wanted to hear, but…. Once I left the store I’m called and told their mistake, delivery drivers will not put new bed with frame together and they would send someone out to construct it for me. It’s been a week, I’ve spent 5 hours on hold on their phone line and can never get off hold ( caller 178) and get ahold of someone. Live chat took an hour for them to make a case # and they said I’d hear back within 48 hours at the latest, well it’s been five days no word. Meanwhile my daughter is visiting and sleeping on the floor. I know everywhere is short handed, but at least a call would be nice. 6 months later- Claim disputed denied. Liars and I will trash talk about this store until the day I die….

Ronald was our salesman and he was awesome. I used to be a general manager at a furniture store and I knew more or less what to except. I had a clear vision is what my family wanted but he blew us away with his honesty and attention he paid to us. 10/10

Very disappointed in their website, wanted to order this coat rack all weekend, tried Iphone on 2 different browsers, mac on one browser, pc on one browser showing me the error in the picture, contacted customer support after my first try from my phone and they said their website works best with Chrome and Pc...tried that too and it still doesnt work, with different cards too (mine and my husbands too)....I'll give up, going on another website to order.
I had a very good experience at the Redding store. Russ was very nice and helpful. He worked hard to get me a price I could afford on my beautiful new sofa and love seat. I will definitely be going back to him when I need to get more furniture. And I don’t have to wait for weeks for delivery, it’s coming in three days. I’m so excited.

Classic bait and switch with the pricing. Do yourself a favor, save some money, avoid the racket... Find some second hand furniture. I wish I would have. Ignacio is great though, hes the underdog, go see him if you must.

Worst experience ever! Tried to buy a sectional couch and had it ordered wrong twice. Worst part about it is they tried to blame us for not understanding their abbreviations. Month long ordeal never again. Returned.
Ignacio was very helpful and patient with my parents. DO NOT purchase with DJ. He greeted us when we walked in, but my mother wanted to work with Ignacio. DJ became very irritated and condescending.

ASHLEY FURNITURE: #1: Does this look comfortable or functional to anyone? (Posted on FB) One of many fraudulent, ongoing issues not taken care of since FALL 2019 when first reported this adjustable base does not work with the firm mattress that was delivered. Finally agreed to pick-up, just a few days ago but they REFUSE to refund me. I paid in full to their Synchrony Bank Card, trusting they would follow thru and credit back to the card. They then charged me $250 for the interest because it was not paid in full by the year…$1100 not credited back to the account. Now they tell me I will only receive credit toward future purchase!!! I will NEVER purchase another product from them. Do not get me started on the sectional couch. #2: The 3 year warranty I purchased on my sectional, bought in 2019 as well, only covers the wood frame, not the springs underneath, and the frame isn’t “damaged”, aside from the damage caused by the clasps ripping away from it. So the GBS warranty co just informed me today, after reporting this 12/2020, they will not replace my couch, yet Ashley Corp still tries to get me to accept delivery on the piece that shows the obvious manufacture defect, yet not take back the whole couch, and refund me. Not even an offer to choose a better quality. Who would accept that liability back into their house? It is dangerous. You can argue that the cheap wood frame could not hold the strong, taut springs that exploded through the bottom of my couch and shot the clasps,stuck to the wood frame, out from under the couch like bullets. Literally, bullets. Missed Miss Molly’s leg, missed Lilly. 3 of them shot out. A powerful slingshot. Then a fourth clasp shot out at a later date/time and we don’t know which part of the couch that one came out of. I use comforters stuffed along the bottom of the couch because I’m scared of it. GBS Co told me just days ago, after MONTHS of back and forth, that they don’t cover springs in the warranty. NO ONE is accepting responsibility. There’s NOTHING wrong with the springs! It’s the cheap wood used for the frame that will not hold them. OMG!!!
The salesman was great...but they don't give a crap once you make the purchase. My delivery was rescheduled several times by the company and the customer service manger tried to blame it on one particular day when he said "truck broke down." Seriously ridiculous. I cancelled my purchase and will never buy another product from that store again. It's a good thing there are plenty of furniture stores around!!if you want your furniture in a timely manner, I recommend shopping elsewhere!!
So easy to order furniture on line. Very easy to input my credit card and pay in full. That went off with out any trouble. Fast forward to actually receiving furniture. I waited at home all last week. On Friday, I happened to open my front door and there was a door tag from Ashley. It seems I missed them. So, this began the phone calls. I called the number they provided, I was told it was too soon to to schedule a new delivery. They said they had to "scan" in the items. Monday began the phone calls again. All you get is, Please hold. Provide the order number, again, "please hold". Inevitably, you are disconnected. So you repeat this all day. Tuesday, today, it took 3 calls this morning so far. We are still on hold. Long story, save your money and aggravation. Buy somewhere else.
Customer service in the Redding Ca Store was lovely. Sadly..the furniture never arrived. We were promised our Memorial day purchase to arrive mid June..then July..then August...here we are in September. No furniture. The 800 customer service number is quite an unpleasant experience. Takes 20 min or more to hear that our purchase is spread out across the country...here, there,everywhere but in our home. Totally felt lied too. Needless to say...we canceled our order in person at Redding store. Waiting for our refund$$. I don't know how the doors stay open. I feel terrible for the employees. I'm Sure part of their pay is commission based. We should have walked out the day we purchased after overhearing another customer's disappointing service details.
Went in during Labor Day sale. Bought a chair that was on sale from an add I received in the mail. The store honored the add and sold me the chair. Great!..... Now forwarded one week later....Went in again (Still Labor Day Sales Happening) and wanted to buy the same chair again just in a different color. This time I was told they cant sell me the chair at that price. Went to the manager who still declined it, even though my original salesmen said I had the add and he saw it in person the day he sold me the first chair. Still the manager refused, stating the add was only good for the other two colors because the color I now wanted is being "Discontinued", and the price is firm at $450.00. Well he lied straight to my face because online Ashley pricing has it at $289.00, with an original cost of $300.00 and when I spoke to the customer care team, they stated the color was not being discontinued. Treated pretty awful that day, what kind of store won't honor their own adds and lie to their customers like that. One star store for sure.

Didn't ultimately make a purchase here but shopped for an hour plus. Staff was friendly and helpful without being pushy which I really appreciate. Will be back again if we need without any hesitation.

NO STARS.... Purchased the Stearns and Foster mattress set 07/16/21. Lead to believe by the Salesman and store Mgr that the acct had been set up 90 days same as cash. OH NOOO.... Our acct was set up through Acima on a LEASE rental program with a 24 month pay off of over 7400.00+ tax. Ashley also set up as twice a month auto deduction through our bank acct. I WILL NEVER PLACE MY TRUST OR STEP FOOT IN THE REDDING, CA STORE AGAIN !!!!! AND unless you give them A STAR, this will not let you post to this sight.

After purchasing a second couch because I had to get the first one warrantied 4 times!!!! The first recliner out of 4 broke 2 weeks after getting it. Then 2 months later 2 more chairs broke the same way and they still haven't fixed the first one and keep giving me the run around. Here is the kicker between the first couch and the second couch they all seem to be breaking in the same spot.
I have always had a bad feeling about this company from the day I first saw them come from nowhere to become a dominate player in their industry. We decided to order a table from online and in the store we impulsively picked a recliner over the first one my wife loved. After 5 days we called to see if we could get an EXCHANGE. The call center person said they had a 3 day return policy, but he would see what he could do. I decided to go to the store and speak with the manager directly. This man was a really nasty piece of work. When I told him what the call center person said he kind of laugh and proudly said "we don't have a 3-day return policy". My hopes were briefly buoyed thinking, Oh maybe it's longer. Instead the manager PROUDLY said we have a NO RETURN policy. He said it was out of his hands, but they would submit the request. It's been well more than one week and we have heard NOT ONE WORD from this company. It's obvious they just pretend to try and do something and then wash their hands of you. Moral of the story...if you buy from Ashley make darn sure it is exactly what you want because there are no do-overs at Ashley. I was shocked at this store's policy and attitude given their size. I will NEVER step foot inside this store again. ps: Much of their furniture comes like IKEA. They charged us over $200 to deliver and SETUP the furniture. The recliner was nothing as it came in two pieces, but the table and chairs took some time to put together. This is obviously done so they can maximize the load on a given truck which benefits them enormously while screwing the customer who has to pay to have the furniture assembled onsite. They told my wife delivery was free...WHAT A CROCK.

Ashley's was timely and the delivery folks were great. There was a noticeable scratch on one of the table legs and we were told it would be replaced. We have had no confirmation or timeline yet on the replacement.
Wonderful customer service. We saw a chair we liked online which was on sale, so the store representative matched the sales price and arranged for free delivery. Couldn’t be more pleased!
I am so disappointed! I purchased a new bedroom set and mattress. At first my experience was good but when the furniture was delivered the nightstands were too big and wouldn't fit. The drivers pushed them up against the wall and left. I went to the store the next morning and told them I loved the set but I needed to find smaller nightstands. They instantly changed their attitude towards me and said the nightstands could not be returned because the furniture was not rejected at delivery. The drivers said nothing about this policy when they left. The manager in Redding said he would have to talk to his District manger to take the nightstands back.. what? I spent over 7k and this is how you treat customers? I simply wanted to exchange them for something smaller that would work. It has been over 3 weeks now and no one has ever called me or initiated a return. It is the WORST customer service and they are only nice to you when you are spending money! I will never do business with them again! They could care less because they already made the sale! Let me mention that my nightstands are over $800 a piece and now I have to purchase new ones above and beyond what I have already paid! I will now let everyone know about their poor ethics!

Went in buy 10 bar stools, however I was harrased when I told the sales guy I didnt need a Tempurpedic mattress with my purchase to get 10 percent off my stools and that I would never buy a Tempurpedic again as I dont like them. He proceeded to try arguing with me and tell me I didnt know what I was talking about. Worst service ever! Will never give This store my business ever.
I am very disappointed in this store. my 81 year old Dad just bought a house. He went to Ashley furniture and picked himself out a new recliner. He was very happy with the the gentleman that helped him and was excited to be finally getting a nice new recliner. He had and old one for way too long! The recliner was delivered and instantly he saw it was not the right color. He was going to deal with it but sat in it and it reclines more then the chair he had picked out and ordered. He discussed with the store that it was the wrong chair. The correct chair was to be delivered. The delivery came and was the same incorrect chair. My Dad went to the store to speak in person and find out what was going wrong. They informed him that HE was incorrect!! He ordered the chair in a color he didn't want and a style that did not sit as straight up as he had wanted!! They brought up pictures of recliners they have and my Dad spotted the chair he wanted and had ordered and they told him no , that he had ordered the other one!!! My Dad is a veteran and retired CHP . He has worked hard his entire life in service to his country and his community. To be told that he was incorrect and that they would have to wait for the sales person to come back to work on Thursday that had originally helped him to see what he says is terrible! My Dad was so upset emotionally by this. He has lived in a time where you weren't treated this way. He was near tears because he is seeing our country behave in ways that were unimaginable before. Truely unacceptable !

One of the things I hate about shopping for cars or furniture is being followed and hounded by sales people. Doug Meier was wonderful. He introduced himself, asked if he could answer any questions and told us he would leave us alone to browse. Occasionally he would drift by in case we had question but did not bother us unless we called him over. Best experience ever! Thank you Doug!

Worst furniture place in redding I have had three delivery so far for on bed and they still forgot more parts to the bed so i say I want a refund and now apparently even thro I don't have all the parts for the bed I own the bed and I can't get a refund horrible communication from store to warehouse
The experience we had in store was fantastic! We purchased a reclining sofa and loveseat. Delivery came as expected and we picked up our new furniture. After getting it home and assembling we noticed part of the electronics was missing from the loveseat so only one section reclines. We have left messages with the customer service department for 3 weeks, with no return call. I am still currently the owner of a partially functioning loveseat :/

Will never order from again. They completely delayed my order after ruining it because they use third party delivering programs seeing that they don’t know how to move furniture properly. Use moving blankets and bubble wrap. Its common sense! Update again on 5/15/21 they screwed up my accent table again and cannot grasp the process of proper shipping. I’m tired of waiting I’m tired of dealing with such awful customer service they’re all horrible and don’t care about their customers.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. My whole entire order was messed up. They were ordered the wrong couch and delivered a TV stand completely scratched up and did nothing about it. I ordered my couch on 1/14/2021 with the assurance from the sales man that I would have it in 6-8 weeks. It’s been 16 weeks. I have been pushed back a month at a time without more than a “sorry that’s just how it is”. I then talk to the girl at the store and she said pushed me back again....another 6 weeks. Absolutely ridiculous. I received little more than an apology from her, zero attempts to make the situation right. I will NEVER buy from Ashley again, especially from this store
We purchased a couch (and fully paid for it) on 1/10/21. It is 4/6/21 and we still have not received our couch. Every time I call the store for a delivery update, our date has been pushed back by a week or more. As of right now, the date is set at 4/21/21, but I have no confidence that they will keep it. Overall an incredible frustrating experience.
We ordered an oversized chair and extra wide loveseat for our home theater in July ‘20, and they said it would be delivered in September. There were delays, and they set up delivery in October. Then, in October, they only brought the chair. They said the loveseat was delayed. In November, they brought a couch, but it was not what we ordered. The delivery guys were apologetic and said to keep the couch and they would order the right one and take the couch back when they delivered the loveseat. After a few weeks, we still hadn’t heard an estimated delivery date. The call center never had information, so we always have to go into the store. The store manager said he had no idea what we were talking about, but promised to fix it and get the right one delivered. He saw the salesman must have written down the wrong item, and it was one letter off of what we ordered. After four more weeks, we heard nothing. We went back to the store, and there were nothing but new people. Again, no one had any idea what we were talking about. We filed a claim with them in February to investigate, and they closed it with no explanation other than we were beyond the 90 day return policy. We had every conversation documented, and it means nothing to them. They are absolute thieves. They don’t care about anything we say regardless of all the documentation we have, because it’s been more than 90 days. Our last option appears to be small claims court to recover the $4,000 we spent, and I’ll gladly drop off the items at their front door. I will NEVER buy from them again.

My sales associate was very helpful in my purchase of an office chair at the store in Redding, California. However, Ashley's accounting and point of sale system is ridiculously byzantine. We had to visit three separate computer workstations PLUS the main accounting center to get this transaction completed. Four different personnel had to get involved, one of whom from accounting was very rude to the sales associate even though I was standing right there listening to their conversation. All in all it took over 30 minutes for me to buy an office chair WITH CASH. That was after I picked the chair out. I would give this experience a single star but my sales associate was very pleasant and I think I will like my office chair when it arrives. FYI Ashley doesn't have much in the way of office furniture in the store but I've heard they have a better selection online.
Ordered a sectional from Ashleys in Redding Ca. Had to wait OVER 12 weeks for it, and it finally came today. Couldn't believe my eyes it was the WRONG ONE. Told them to take it back and headed to the store. They acknowledged their error. We asked for our money back and was told it could be up to 6 weeks for our money. I will never do any business with these people and believe me I will spread the word to anyone who will listen as to this company's way of doing business.

Went in and purchased some couches on Jan 10th. They were supposed to arrive in 4-6 weeks. On Feb 20th the delivery guys show up. We bought a love seat and sofa. The delivery guys brought 2 love seats. So we waited another 2 weeks for our sofa. Turned out that the love seat they delivered was broken. I called immediately to let them know. I wanted a new couch but all they did was offer to fix it. I didn't pay full price for a refurbished couch. After talking to multiple people about the issue, I called the store in Redding. The manager told me that I'm not getting a replacement couch. He told me they would fix it. I told him that I wanted to return it then. He said I signed a contract and that I could not return it and once it was in my house, it was mine. So basically he told me, they don't give a $#!+ if I received a broken couch and I had to keep it. Then I find out that the tech guy had the parts delivered to my house and the case was closed after the parts were delivered.. so what, I'm just supposed to fix the couch myself???Worst customer service ever!! After having the couch for over 3 weeks, I finally talked to someone logical and got them to exchange the couch. Still waiting on the replacement. But no thanks to the douche bag manager at the Redding store. I do not recommend Ashley Furniture and will never go back. I spent over $4500 in their store only to be treated like I was wrong for wanting a new couch. Ridiculous. Also bought a new mattress and box springs for a cali king. The delivery guys show up with 2 queen box springs instead of 2 twins. So sloppy.
Loved it went last day of presidents day sale. Got 50% off and a year to pay with no interest. Salesperson Shaun was very knowledgeable and helpful. Got 5 piece bedroom set. Couch, love seat, & rocker recliner. Being delivered to my home soon.
The furniture is decent, some of the staff is very pleasant but the service here is the worst! I ordered a dining table and chairs delivered the first of February. I love the table but it tips with any weight. I am waiting for a technician, I haven't heard anything so i again called today. No record of me requesting one or anything. So frustrated. I will drive hours before I ship at this store. WORST SERVICE AWARD goes to Ashley's.
The people in the store are nice enough and helpful, but once you have an order in you are at the mercy of their terrible customer service. The scheduling is horrible, the communication about delays or delivery status is horrible, and calling them to speak to a customer service representative takes you in circles without success. I like our furniture, but will not shop through Ashley again due to the difficulty of the rest of the process and the lack of communication and customer service.
Absolutely horrible staff members, felt a lot of racial discrimination. Some staff members would make disgusting faces and talk about us as we walked in, probably thinking we couldn’t understand english. I would never recommend going there, especially if you are not white. I would give it zero stars but in order to post I had to give it one star. Amazing customer service, super friendly atmosphere. Christian was extremely helpful in getting us exactly what we needed. Edit: unfortunately I had to bring this rating down to 2 stars. First they brought us the wrong size mattress. A full instead of a queen. They've changed the delivery for the right one 2 or three times now. Also still havent recieved the couches we ordered. Great customer service in store but once you've ordered it becomes a nightmare to just receive your furniture. Wont be buying from here again. Edit #2: Still havent recieved the right mattress or our couches. Still recieving notifications saying my order is being delivered and it's being shipped to store instead... Ashley Furniture is the worse for online returns. There is no mention whom is to pay for return shipping, seller or buyer. I bought a power lift recliner for a patient, who needs it for post surgery sleeping, because the patient couldn't sleep flat, thought the recliner with adjustment would be a good solution. It was hard, and it keeps slipping forward, besides it a bit small. Called the store, they didn't accept online returns. Called online customer service, they said buyer pays for returns shipping. Called UPS, estimated cost $380. The recliner cost $580 on sale price. Will never buy from Ashley Furniture again. They don't have customer satisfaction.

Good selection. However when I walked in with my mother to look for a new mattress and frame set, walked by no less than 5 employees sitting at the main service counter located near the center of the store and not a single one said hello or even acknowledged our presence. Same as when we left.

UPDATE: We ended up getting a refund because after 5 different delivery confirmations and poor customer service we still do not have answers as to where the furniture is. FYI it takes 7-10 business days to receive your money back! We went to Legacy Furniture and Mattress Gallery and 10/10 would recommend. Amazing customer service AND we were able to take our new furniture home at 55% off! I recommend Legacy before you ever set foot in Ashley's. I'm only giving 1 star because DJ was cool when we ordered our set of reclining couches, end table and lamps. Thanks, DJ. HOWEVER!!!! Our order was meant to be delivered the 17th of December, 2020. Okay, we can wait 3 weeks, no big deal. Then we were contacted and told that the delivery was pushed back to January 14th because our order was not in stock, (not what DJ told us). I received a text message order confirmation for 1/14/2021 AND i called to confirm over the phone. Today is 1/14/2021 and I waited at home all day for them. I finally call to see how much longer because its already 6pm with no furniture. Turns out they pushed our delivery date to February 18th 2021 WITHOUT contacting me about the change! I'm livid to say the least. Will never do business here again and am putting my story out there for all my friends and family to see how terrible Ashley's Furniture Store is.
WARNING! I am genuinely happy for anyone that has had a great experience with this location. However, they would not return the furniture we purchased even though it was not the same color as online. So we did a swap out and paid an additional 1,777.00 on top of the almost 3,000 we had already paid. They deliver part of the order and one piece was damaged and when I asked the truck to wait while I called the store they left and didn't take the first set with them. So we made arrangements to get the piece that was missing and an even exchange on the 500.00 plus nightstand. The truck shows up with just the missing piece no nightstand. They also did not take the first set again. I called the store, I was yelled at and talked over by a guy named Red. I was told that we refused them picking up the old order because my family member was gone which helps me because I have MS, and I can't open my own gate. They just hung up on me. No resolution and they have almost 800.00 of our money because we changed to a different bed in the suite. The manager is never there, the salesman is always with someone else... It is ridiculous. This has been going on since Thanksgiving.

I have had the worse experience with Ashley Furniture!!! I paid cash for my couch! I was told 3 times my full order would be delivered today 12/16/20 and when truck showed up at my house I only had the 2 chaises and ottoman. Didn’t have my love seat that connected my chaises or my other part of order! I have been lied to over and over and now supposedly the rest of my order will be in 12/23/20. I will never ever buy furniture from this place again! They do not help their customers either when they have made the mistake 3 different times now! You call the store and they don’t help either! However they sure want their money upfront! Never again!

The front desk greeter on November 2nd, 2020 at 4pm helped show us their WIDE variety of just ONE coat rack. We had been to a similiar store prior, and they had the same coat rack for $100 less, plus way more variety. When I quickly decided to leave, this team member inferred that I didn't have enough money for the item, and suggested Target or Walmart. He then rushed us out of their store. To be clear, I did NOT WANT that coat rack even for $100 less than Ashley's was selling it! We will never return because of how insulting he was, and because of the store's incredibly stock. Thanks.
They have comfortable furniture but when dealing with damaged furniture the service is terrible, the wait times when calling in is 20+ minutes and even then they don&'t answer and messaging is the same thing and they take hours to reply back, customer service is bad at the store too they said they would call me back the next day and it&'s been 4 days and no call.
We had two items delivered, a rocker recliner and a coffee table. We met them at the front of our property since our entrance is small and uphill and windy. They were so excited they didn’t have to come to the home that they just started rushing putting the furniture into our truck bed. The delivery guys threw the chair, which was still in the box in two pieces, into the bed of my husbands truck and it landed on the top and then shoved it to roll it upright and in doing so they slammed it twice into the truck bed wall. My husband stopped them at this point and got the table into the truck next. Both were broken when we opened them. Tried to call the numbers we had for both the delivery location and the store and. No one ever answered and we left voicemails that were never returned. Got on the text option and no one responded. It’s overpriced garbage. The metal under the chair were warped and a support bar missing, The tables cardboard inserts.. yes... it’s laminated cardboard pieces, were warped from obvious moisture damage. Do not waste your time.

thier sale reps and manager, explaining the break down of order is. explain what the 5 year warranty, not tell you it comes with your purchase and charge you 255 dollars for it. not charging 129.00 to bring my furniture 2 miles, not resale tables after I already purchased them, have the customer leave happy b and not feel pushed into to something. there are more but that's a good start

I went in there one time and I'm guessing it was the manager, if that's what you want to call him, was YELLING and I mean yelling at his employees. Using inappropriate language, it made me feel VERY uncomfortable. He was just awful, awful, awful. If you want a more pleasant place to go to I highly recommend Evans :)
We have purchased multiple things from here throughout the years. We have spend a few thousand dollars re furnishing our house. They are so helpful and nice when they are getting the sell. But the moment something goes wrong and they are pressed to back up the product they sell they peddle back. They aren’t so quick to resolve an issue when it’s delivered broken. In our case they sent out a tech after multiple different “representatives” helping us to find out the tech was just coming to glue the headboard!!! Glue!!!! Who spends $3K on a bed-set to have it glued right out of the box. Back up your mission statement Ashley Furniture, you’d earn so many more returning customers and make more of you just owned the damage. A simple fix that is now costing you multiple sales going forward and a bad word of mouth.
This place has so many selections the service is ever so nice and they're not pushy they allow you to walk the store and when you're ready all you have to do is let them know it's fast and the delivery although being long is great I highly recommend this be where you buy some furniture

We go in there and pay cash 3500.00 for a reclining sofa and loveseat, most of the experience was okay until the end when they were not suppose to charge me for delivery but they added it on and charged my debit card. They took me up to the office manager Red and he promised it was pending so he was going to change it and it would post minus the delivery fees, he said it could take 5-6 days. It took 4 days and of course he did not do his job and my account was charged the total with delivery. I called up to the store and he had no empathy that he messed up and said that he was going to have to out another ticket in and someone would call me to process a refund in another week. I ask him why it would take so long for there error and all he could say is what do you want me to do, I ask for my money and he said there is nothing he can do about it and I just have to wait for another week or two until they decide to refund hopefully. Horrible customer service. Update 10/20/20 It has now been a week and a half and I have called there 909 Colton number multiple times to find out about the 300.00 they owe me and I still am have not recieved a call back or a refund. I am going to have to file a BBB complaint because this is unacceptable.
Recently went in because they stay open till 9 p.m.I was greeted by a female employee who said most things are taking 6-8 weeks to get. Looked around, of course 2nd salesperson came to help me but then left and a 3rd salesperson came who was more pushy and kept saying are you ready to go to the kiosk and apply for credit. Finally a 4th salesperson showed up and was pushing the credit app at the kiosk. I told him I didnt need more credit accounts but finally made up my mind so I took advantage of 6 months interest free financing. I have excellent credit and accounts with their finance company Synchrony Bank but my credit request didht go through but then a secondary company called Genesis approved my request which made me suspicious. I looked them up and they are part of Synchrony Bank. They gave me "employee pricing" allegedly, but the price tag on the 14 pc table & chair set was 1299.00. I told them I didnt want the overpriced dishes, rug, placemats, etc. The table & 4 chairs ended up costing me $1050. + the extra furniture warranty and so on. Total price ended up being over $1200.00. I didnt care for the switch0ing of salesmen's without a reason why and the pushiness of salesmen #4. I am buying other furniture BUT not here. I felt they played a game and while the salesmen were polite its not acceptable to use these tactics and felt pressured to buy the set. Delivery is not till October 22nd which is 3 weeks from date of purchase. I will shop somewhere else for my living room.
Never will I ever do business with Ashley Furniture ever again. Experience started out great. Their sale reps will put on a real good show and tell you they won't just sell you furniture to meet their commission quotas, yet will try and get you to buy they most expensive item on the floor. We purchased our item just to wait 2 and a half weeks for them to finally get it to our area, and then they conveniently switch the delivery information without our authorization. Their lack of customer service is appaling and the fact that they will openly admit that they messed up but will do nothing about it is just even better.

Do not go to this store. The customer service is horrible. The manger Mr. Smith is dishonest. He first told me he cancelled my order per my request. But I said please give me some proof or number I can call to make sure the cancellation order has been processed correctly. I don&'t want furniture delivered claiming I have not cancelled. He said he didn&'t know a number for customers to call for cancellation. But he cancelled for me. And he can&'t give me any proof. I though he must be new to the store and shock he would say there is no number to call to cancel. So finally upon my repeat request, he wrote down his name to show that I have spoke to someone for cancellation . The next day I found the 1800 number and called and cancelled it one more time. The lady on the phone was nice and cancelled both of my orders. But a month later, after several in person store visit and calling customer service , still no refund. I found out some employee in the furniture store changed my phone number so no one could call me for refund. A lady on staff was nice and trying to change number for me during one of my In person visits. She said someone would call soon but 7 days later still no call. It seems like it&'s just a scan trying to rip off customers. I&'m going to BBB to report this misconduct. It shouldn&'t take so much trouble for a consumer to get a refund. And I do not appreciate the manger lying to me right in front of my face saying he gave me the number to cancel wile he intentionally tried to tell me there was no way to call and cancel during my first in person visit. (By the way, it turns out Mr. Smith is the office manager. I mistakenly believed he was new on staff and didn&'t even know Ashly number)
Worst customer service ever. My sales person was playing hide and seek. Each time we caught his attention for a question, he was there for no more then a minute then disappear. Hey Russ, it might not be a 5k sofa set, but by the end of next week, Best Price Funiture and Mattress will definately enjoy 10-15k of my hard earn money.

The salespeople were great and very helpful in the Redding store. We got a good deal. Paid just under $6000 for a 14 pc. living room set, a dining room set with buffet side table and a bar table with stools. That was back in June. It's now mid-September and after being promised delivery several times, we are still waiting for our furniture. After calling many times and leaving messages and getting no response, we are not very happy with Ashley Home Store. We are extremely frustrated and disappointed. We don't want to hear any more excuses. We just want our furniture. We will never shop at Ashley Home Store again and definitely will not recommended it to any of our friends or family members.

Worst customer service I've ever gotten. They showed up on specified date. A 3 piece sofa, one of the peices that came were broken. They found this out after they already removed my old couch. I called to find out when the replacement would be hear. Got directed to customer service not at the store. Where they informed me it will be 2 months and that they were really sorry. We will have our claims dept call you to discuss the situation after I told them I cant wait that long I want a refund. Well it's been a week and still no call. Would not recommend anyone use this store. Unless you like to pay cash and have to wait a total of 4 months to get your moneys worth.

Absolutely horrendous customer service. Ordered $6500 worth of furniture. Two months later I received three different deliveries on three different days and it was still missing furniture. Finally after I made several call attempts without getting through they informed me the remainder of my furniture was back ordered for another two months. Cannot get through to the local store here in Redding. An absolute joke. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Disappinted in Ashley Furniture. We had boight a living room set back in July. It was supposed to be delivered aug 8th. I got a voice message around the 6th saying that it's back ordered we will get half of it on the 15th the other half on the 19th. I tried to call two different numbers and left voicemails and I emailed them about the situation because I wanted to know which half was being delivered. I never received any call backs or emails back. Michael calls and gets ahold of someone and they say the 19th. Well after we're not getting a confirmation call the day before the 19th. I also couldn't track the delivery like were suposed to be able too on the day of, Michael calls a few times w no answer so he had to go in there. the salesperson said they have been trying to call us for 2 weeks, which we have no missed calls or voicemails from them so we canceled our order.

We thought it might too big to buy the whole thing for our living room. The salesman told us not to worry as if it was too big we could just return the piece. When the they delivered it and set it up I knew right away it was too big but the delivery person told me not to worry just to contact the store and they would take it back. After he left I tried all the power recliners. On of them did not work right and was catching on the frame. I called and Ashley's and scheduled a tech to come out. I also mentioned the extra piece and I was advised that they do not take returns once it is at your house. Really.....first I had heard of that. So the repair tech comes out and tells us he has to order a part. He the leaves a few week later the part arrives at our house. The tech comes back out and realizes he ordered the wrong part. So he orders another part. The part comes in a few weeks later again. We have the part sitting in our dinning room and we have called the national number and the local number no less that 10 times. No one will answer the phone and we have to leave a message. Their answering machine says this is due to COVID. Really you can't answer the phone because of COVID? It has now been over 5 months and we have not received a call back and our $5000 couch is still broken. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE! Poor experience. I told the salesman, Daniel Ericksen, that I wanted a recliner and love seat. He informed me that they would have separate delivery dates and I said that it was fine, I didn’t mind. When everything was done and paid, I asked about the second delivery date and Daniel told me he didn’t know I wanted the love seat. I asked if we had to go through all the paper work and payment again and he said yes. No thanks. I’ll take my business somewhere else. Preferably where they employ competent staff.

I paid for a couch in full and my credit card was charged a month and a half ago and they have no idea where my couch is and the store will not speak to me. The worst customer service!!!Run for the doors people,they take your money and give you broken products .Both of our bed frame and dresser was deliver broken. The delivery staff said they will write up the report and have the store contact us.After 2 weeks ,no call ,no text,or email.I had to call the national headquarters and request for a Refund and even that was a hassle in itself. Salesman Dan.R ,also got a fast one on us,charged us for furniture protection without our knowledge.Why charge us for protection if we don&'t even have the furniture. Very unethical behavior and sales tactics. Long story short,these unprofessional lying assholes will do whatever to get your money.I don&'t mind paying for products but who would wants to pay for broken products? and instead of taking responsibility, they turn you away and act like they have no idea what took place.They said we would have to deal with their finances dept but couldn&'t provide any phone number when asked.If they were the last place on earth that sold furniture,I would rather sit on rocks,than deal with this company. Don&'t waste yr time or money. I should have read their reviews before going there.Seem like this is nothing new for them.They shouldn&'t be in business!!!
We bought our couch set from Ashley&'s in May. It was delivered BROKEN and I was told by the delivering supervisor to go ahead and sign for the other pieces that was not damage and they would have a replacement ordered and when they delivered the new piece, they will take away the damage piece. I waited a week, no call from Ashley&'s, so i called their customer service just to be told by them that a technician has to &"attempt&" to &"fix it&" before a replacement can be ordered. 6/4/2020 a technician came out. He sprayed adhesive on the broken bottom wood that was broken in two places and he then attached a piece of quarter inch plywood onto the broken wood and called it fixed. Due to the broken bottom wood, the top piece of wood was sagging because their was no support. The tech did not attempt to fix that part, but he said he will note that into his report. I told the tech that I was not satisfied with the attempt to fix it. He said to call customer service again. I called customer service and was told that they will not be able to order a replacement until there was an attempt to fix the top wood too. 7/11/2020, same tech came back out. He did the same thing to the top wood as he did to the bottom wood prior. IT DID NOT FIX IT, IT STILL SAGGED. The tech said he will note it on his report and to have a replacement ordered. and to expect a call from Ashley&'s in 4-5 business days. Waited a week, no call. So i called customer service the following week and was told that my case was closed, because it was fixed. They gave me the run around, and finally said that they would need to send another tech out for a &"second opinion&" before they can replace it. We were pretty upset by now. My husband called customer service and told them to just come pick up the couch now and not to send another tech over for the third time for the SAME PROBLEM!! A day later, RED from the Redding store location left me a message for me to call him so we can try to fix the problem. I called the number he left me, but he wasn&'t in, so i spoke with Sarah. She said she was going to request a new replacement for us, but we will need to wait for an approval from her supervisor/manager since he was on vacation. I was happy finally, because something was actually getting done about it. RED called me the next day and he told me that they WILL NOT ORDER A REPLACEMENT. He said I need to go through proper procedure. I told him that we had a tech came out TWICE already per their protocol. He said they will not replace it until a tech said to replace it. My husband called him and it wasn&'t pretty. RED HUNG UP ON MY HUSBAND and an hour later BRITT from Ashley&'s customer service called and spoke to my husband. A tech was schedule to come out on 8/8. NO ONE SHOWED UP. 8/9, my husband called Red and told him to order the replacement now since a tech did not come by yesterday as schedule. RED WAS ARGUING WITH MY HUSBAND, TELLING HIM THAT HE WAS WRONG AND THAT NO TECH WAS SCHEDULE TO COME OUT. MY HUSBAND SAID HE CAN SEND RED THE CONFIRMED SCHEDULED TEXT MESSAGE THAT HE RECEIVED. This is my parents bed they got last fall, it has been stuck in the up position for a week, calling is useless because you have to be on hold for 15 minutes before you can leave a message, with no response. You can't go to the store because it's appointment only. Extremely disappointed. I wouldn't give it a star but the app makes me

Been looking at power Recliner sofas for 3 years..walked into Ashley in Redding with my wife..Was greeted warmly by Doug Meier. He asked what we were after. The guy couldn't be more professional. Went into the store to buy a sofa sleeper. I did just that. A few hours later I found the same couch for 200 dollars cheaper and with free delivery. Naturally I went back and ask for a price match. They did this for me which was great. However I waited a week to get my refund and nothing. I go back in to find out the manager did not put in the request for the refund. They lady at the counter entered it and tells me I have to wait another week. It&'s going on 3 weeks no resolution no refund and no help. Absolutely horrible service. When I call they blame COVID 19 and thinks it&'s ok to hold/steal my money and they don&'t care. If I could cancel my couch I would but that would be another 600 dollars lost for god know how long. Do not shop at Ashley any where but definitely not the Redding CA store.
The furniture is beautiful, the customer service with the local store was not a great experience. Just know that if a price is listed on the online store they can match it, but you may need to check it (which I did and made a second trip requesting the fair price according to what was online, and they did give me back the difference- so a refund was great!). The day of delivery I was wanting to contact the store about my order, but the delivery came BEFORE they opened-- the arrival time with the multiple texts I received as well as emails said it WILL arrive between 10:45am and 2:45am (the store opens at 10am, so that gave me a window to contact them)-- the delivery however came an hour and a half EARLY (be ready, they said if you don&'t answer the door, then you loose out on the delivery fee, and you will have to pay again). When I contacted them about my customer service need after the delivery, (since they weren&'t open before it came), they said they couldn&'t help me because the furniture had already been delivered!! I was told to call the next day to see if the manager could help me, but the manager was not willing to take the call and the person I spoke to hung up on me-- so my experience was not one I&'d be looking to do again or recommend to others. I will enjoy the furniture, but be very wary of using the local store and be prepared that once they have sold the furniture to you, they are not willing to take the time to help you beyond that.
The delivery guys were great, but products weren't so great. The headboard had a crack in it, and none of the tracks to the drawers were set right, they were so off that you can't even put the drawers into the slots(it had to be forced into the slots, the guy said a tech will be request to come out to get it fix). Very poor craftsmanship and should never got pass quality control, if they had one. When they unbox the dresser, one of the legs is almost completely busted off. So the stars are actually for the delivery guys, for the products I would have to say its zero, and still waiting to hear from my salesperson for a follow-up . Depending how these issues are being handled, I may or may not shop here in the future.

We went in to look at a recliner. We were met quickly and pointed in the direction we needed to go. Katrina came by without being intrusive answering questions and pointing out some interesting features on some of the fancier chairs. Bluetooth speakers and electric adjustable chair with charging station etc.... No I didnt buy that one. I did buy a comfortable manual chair. Added a side table with charging. Katrina was just the right amount of there. Had a good experience. Thank you.
Bought a nice bed frame and box spring for a cal King from here. The box spring lasted maybe 6 months. Had that box spring replaced. The second time it busted i waited too long and the year warranty was up. I missed it by two weeks. Terrible quality of box springs. Definitely high prices for low quality. Save yourself the headache and go to Costco!

Double charged us and still hasn’t resolved that issue, then changed our delivery date twice on the day we were suppose to get our furniture. Now we’re going on 2 weeks with no furniture and it’ll be another week due to their reschedule. On the verge of just cancelling my order and going somewhere else. Should’ve known this place would be a nightmare based on the sales woman’s lack of customer service. Will not be doing business here again.
I will NEVER spend another penny at this store! I ordered 2 barstools and they were delivered in JANUARY. One bar stool came missing a support piece. I contacted customer service and they said the part would arrive in 7-10 business days. Ok fine. 3 weeks go by and I’ve heard nothing so I call and spend an hour on the phone and was told I was miss informed, it hasn’t even shipped yet and wouldn’t be expected until the end of MARCH! Finally a package arrives and they sent me a box full of different pieces excluding the one single support piece we actually needed! I call and I am again told “sorry, the part will be there in 7-10 business days.” Another 3 weeks go by and nothing. Now APRIL 25th, I spend 3 HOURS on the phone with customer service to be informed that the part won’t be delivered until JULY!!!! They are refusing to refund me and are “unsure” if or when I can get a replacement. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!
The worst customer service experience I’ve ever had!
My wife and I bought a couch and a couple of lamps from Ashley’s furniture a few weeks ago. The furniture was dropped off and instead of them dropping off two lamps, they were trying to drop off four lamps. This is a simple mistake and should’ve been easily correctable. My wife and I refused the second set of lamps and were told to call the warehouse to make sure that they were logged in so we could get our refund. Here in lies the issue, it’s been over two weeks and we still don’t have a refund. All we’ve been getting is the runaround. If you buy from Ashley’s furniture, keep in mind that if you ever need a refund it’s going to be like pulling teeth.

Ordered a nice sofa and it was damaged when delivered. Broken arm with major damage to fabric. Had to take multiple days off when they said they would be there to try to fix it they weren’t. When they came they claimed after taking it apart that they didn’t have all the material and would need to return in 7-10 business days. Very disappointed in Ashley’s. Do not sign the paperwork if it damaged. Refuse the furniture. Signing it when they said they would replace the unit is false.

Worst experience I have ever had. Our couch broke within 15 minutes of delivery. Took a month to receive replacement. Then promised by Red at Ashley furniture our delivery fee. Still no refund and no calls back. Redding Ashleys Furniture blames the people that provide you with the refund. Then they say it’s Redding office. Almost a month later no refund. This has been a terrible experience and Ashleys furniture don’t care.

Beware if you receive damaged furniture! I had a dining room set delivered on January 12, 2020, and the corner of table had a big gash in it and a hazy film on top; the majority of the chairs had loose material; some had black marks on them; and a couple had dented foam on the seats. I said to delivery guy I should refuse and he said you could but it's best to accept and have a technician come out, so I did. WRONG MOVE!! The tech came out and I refused to have it fixed since he would have needed a refinishing and upholstery machine to fix everything. Bottom line, they wouldn't refund my money because I refused the technician to fix. I bought first rate furniture, not second hand. The corporate office would only do an even exchange and took $300 off my credit card, that was charged back in November. When the second delivery showed up, the guys (this time these guys were from Redding and very nice) took out the old set and had me look at the new table in the box before bringing it in. Sure enough, more nicks and gashes on the table. I refused delivery this time and immediately called the store manager in Redding. He couldn't do anything until furniture was returned to warehouse in Lathrop, CA. Nobody called me and I had to keep bugging store manager. After constantly calling him and advising nobody from corporate called me, he was making many calls down there himself. He and his employees in Redding care about the customer; the corporate office doesn't give a crap about the customer! It took over two weeks to finally get my refund! My husband and I spent $10k on furniture right after our house burned down in Carr Fire. We went back to them once our home was rebuilt to buy additional furniture since they would still honor their discount. Never will I do business with this company again! We were once fire victims; Ashley Furniture made us their victims!!

This place is a SCAM! They have no integrity and are completely unprofessional. They advertise a sleep guarantee for their mattresses for up to 120 days. We have been trying to return our mattress for the past month, we call every day to speak to the manager, and they beat around the bush and are unable to tell us how to return. We keep getting told they will return our calls and they never do. I am out of resources, and am now running out of time, meanwhile being stuck with a horrible mattress that has even caused back problems.

He listened and was able to answer our questions. I will have to be honest that I got the best deal with Ashley's furniture with Dean's assistance, because I was furniture shopping around town and this other furniture place (Legacy) garantee that they will beat Ashley's price but in the end they didn't and was very unprofessional and super pushy with trying to sell. However, after being in the store for over 30 minutes, at times looking around to see if I could get a question answered, not one person approached to see if needed assistance. I left. I went to this store and purchased and new dining set and a new living room set in the same day. We were overcharged on both orders. When I pointed this out they had to void it, they then put my order under someone else&'s name! When I noticed this they had to void it again, they then made several more mistakes before I finally cancelled my 6200 dollar purchase. I&'ll take my money literally anywhere else! Went in on a Thursday to look at dressers. Young saleswoman walked up with a clipboard and introduced herself. She asked for my name and when I told her she wrote it down. I said I was just there to browse. She started following me and asked for my phone number. Never been asked that unless I am actually making a purchase. Continued to follow me around the store. I didn&'t feel comfortable at all. She has obviously been trained to do this. Not for me. Won&'t be back.

Cancelled order and had to dispute charge with credit card company. They made false statements and lies. Spent $2500 on 2 pieces of furniture. That night I wanted to send pictures of the couch and recliner so I googled the model number. The first link took me to an online retailer, Coleman Furniture where i quickly noted the recliner was $175 less money and the couch about $100 less. Plus the offer was for free delivery and setup. The Ashley store was charging $199. Next day I called the store and gave details to the salesman. He immediately said Coleman was a bogus store and the furniture was used, returns or blemished. He went on to say it did not include setup. &"They drop it on your curb and you are on your own&" were the words. He said he would talk to the manager and call back. When he did call he said the manager &"wasn&'t going to play that game&" and went on to trash Coleman and said they had poor reviews. I said i was willing to take my chances to the tune of over $500 when dust settled. As of 3 days later the charge is still on my account which i have filed a dispute. I called Ashly home office and inquired about Coleman Furniture and was told they are an Ashley outlet and that my furniture would be factory new and delivered direct as it would from the store i had visited. Later i looked on Yelp for reviews of the Ashly store in Redding CA where i had the problem and their reviews are way, way worse than Coleman where i placed the order. I dont recommend anyone visit the Redding Ashley store. High pressure and false statements are not a good business model for success or customer service

Came in today to look for a mattress and foundation. Our sales person was Ronald and he was attentive and helpful. Until we were doing the transaction I didn't like the way the girl at the desk was talking to him. Very rude and unprofessional!!!!! It was very awkward for me. As she was handing me change, I said thank you and she didn't even care to look at me.

My wife and I just moved into our new home and had gotten rid of our old couch and loveseat. We had a budget in mind when the time came to start looking at new furniture. My wife went to the Redding store after work one night on a whim after hearing that they were having a 50% off sale in July on the radio. That was the first gimmick. After being followed around for an hour by a friendly but hovering salesmen whom my wife quickly dismissed so she could text me about a piece she found on sale, we both agreed to buy it that night. When my wife let me know that we couldn't get the couch delivered till next week sometime, I was a bit peeved, but willing to work around it so we could have something in our living room to sit on. They also don't deliver Friday or Saturday to our location (which is only a half hour from the Redding store), which also sucked. The salesmen informed my wife the delivery fee to Anderson is $70, which I found to be a bit high, but we were willing to let that slide at the moment. We were told we would receive a call to schedule our delivery the following week. Two days later, we receive said call informing us that our "delivery window" is on our chosen date but from 3-7 pm. Not only did the salesmen hide the fact that you cannot choose a delivery window of time, but that was not going to work with our work schedule that week, so we called to see if we could get an earlier time slot. We were told by corporate that because we live "in the boonies" and that our furniture is being delivered all the way from Stockton, our order at the soonest would arrive at 7 pm that night. After fighting with customer service at corporate and getting hung up on, I told them to cancel the order. I also contacted the Redding manager and let them know I wanted to cancel our order. A day later, my wife received an auto text from Ashley still confirming our delivery. She called on her lunch break and told corporate again we did not want the delivery due to our horrible customer service experience. She then asked for a refund. She was then mysteriously rerouted to the local store where she spoke to the store manager Katrina and was informed that we would have to wait 48-72 hours after our delivery date to receive a refund. I found that alone absolutely ridiculous considering every other corporation either gives in-person or remote refunds same day. Another 72 hours pass and Sunday afternoon rolls around where we are out and about. Then Ashley Furniture calls and leaves a voicemail regarding processing our refund. My wife attempted to call them back minutes later and had to leave 2 separate voicemails for them. I'm fuming at this point from the awful level of customer service they have at the corporate office and the fact our hard earned money is being held hostage with this awful company for over 3 days. We plan to file a dispute with our bank and force a refund Monday after reading other bad reviews on this same issue from customers across the country. DO NOT SHOP HERE ITS A SMOKE IN MIRRORS GAME. Everything is routed to corporate where it goes to pot from there and they hold onto your hard earned money so you have to fight forever and a day before trying again somewhere else. To be honest, their prices are the same as the other game in town who have same day delivery and superior customer service. We will never step foot in this store ever again. Worst furniture buying experience ever!
Bought a headboard and matching footboard for my oldest daughter paid over $1,275 with out mattress, and whole support for mattress ripped off completely from frame, not fixable cheap wood so unhappy. Not usable at all. Ashley furniture in Redding refused to give names or numbers for a technical to repair furniture or help in any way. Don't even purchase furniture there.

Ashley Furniture is incredibly unreliable and flaky. The people who work in the customer service are kind and do their best to make sure the customer gets all the information they can, however, whoever runs the warehouse seems to be complete opposite. The rest of my purchase is almost 4 months late with no reliable information given to me, the customer. We have been told over 3 different dates that the rest of my order should arrive, all being quite later than the last. The quality of the products are rather good, the couches are comfortable but don’t seem very strong. The lamps aren’t sturdy and only work well sometimes. Cute furniture, but it’s just not made strong enough for actual use. The company doesn’t communicate with their customers well enough at all and it’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

An absolute nightmare. It has been over 3 months and they still haven't delivered our coffee table , end tables, and lamps. They do not return calls. High pressure sales with no follow through. Purchase your furniture anywhere but here.
My wife changed her mind on a purchase because she felt pressured into it. She canceled the order the very next day, well within the time frame. They said they couldn&'t stop a lamp from coming even though it would take a month to get to us. They said just bring it in when we get it. We didn&'t receive it for two months, but took it in the next day. They said it was already taken care of and just had me leave the lamp on the counter. A month later I&'m still receiving a bill for the lamp. I called and they told me everything was taken care of on their end, it just takes a month for the creditor to process it. The next month I&'m still receiving a bill, so I had to call Synchrony Bank to start a dispute on the charges. What a hassle for something that should have been resolved four months ago.

I went to Ashley Furniture looking for new living room furniture. We were greeted by Becca almost immediately. She smiled and seemed to sincerely want to help us. She listened intently to our needs before making several suggestions. She was knowledgeable about the furniture and happy to answer our seemingly endless questions. She pointed out several items she thought we would like and then gave us some time to shop without hovering; but was close enough to still help. I didn't feel rushed or pressured at all while we were browsing. We found exactly what we were looking for and a very reasonable price. She even suggested some additions I would have never picked on my own, but go amazingly well with our new stuff. This was, by far, the least stressful furniture buying experience we have ever had and I won't go anywhere else for my furniture needs. I highly recommend Becca if you need any help, she has impeccable taste and her sunny, upbeat personality made it a great experience.

I'm only giving one star because I have to. I feel like my personal privacy was violated. I purchased a living room set through their 90 day same as cash program they offer which was great. However it being months later they called my personal reference to see if they were interested in purchase from them. I was appalled by this action. How are you going to call my personal reference for a purchase when you didnt even call them at time of purchase. So I call the store inform them I do not feel this is ok and please dont call me friends!!! It has been months!!! She informs me she was doing the calls she needed to do!! Blah blah blah ... I'll make a note of it wont happen again... just for them to turn around and call 2 days later... how is this even ok???? I will not return or refer anyone here!! If you value your privacy and your close friends and families privacy DONT GO HERE!!!

Lots of furniture to look at, but if you need something right away, within a few weeks, don't bother. And there was no wiggle room. Staff was nice, but couldn't give ANY answers with out checking with one if the two managers, and they didn't seem concerned about losing a sale, granted it was only a couple of thousand dollars, so nothing big deal, but I won't even bother going back. Wasted a lot of time.

Really good staff of sales people. They have a nice showroom & sales associates know their merchandise. I can't give 5 stars, I might of given it less actually & not due to sales associates but due to communications between what wearhouse shows in stock & what's actually there. I was to receive my pieces of furniture within a week. In truth I only have one piece & by the time the balance arrives it will be a day shy of a month. Everyone behaves frustrated about protocol but no individual seems to have the power to make change. That's not good business and furthers customers problem.

Wanted a bed for my daughter. They offered to have it delivered on a Sunday but, after the sales person got the address, etc., it suddenly was only available for delivery on a Wednesday or Thursday. Not acceptable and we left.
Excellent service. Salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful. We bought a beautiful sectional sofa at an amazing, affordable price. The store is well laid out, with a large, beautiful inventory. One of the best furniture stores we've done business with and we highly recommend them!

What a nightmare to try & get in touch w/ the store. It's a general that u sit on phone for 20 mins to get to the call center where you can't hear because people are yelling in the background. The manager & our sales person were happy to take our $ then that's it. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! So the next time I need furniture... not going to be Ashley! Tried to shop local but they make it impossible. When they finally do close, no big surprise! GO ELSEWHERE PEOPLE!!

They are super nice until after you buy something. After that no delivery no notifications or nothing. Calling is a chore, such long waiting time and they're not even busy in the store. Paid for delivery never received any delivery on promise date. Worst experience ever in buying Furniture.

And Kevin was instrumental in making the delivery work. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and responsive to our phone calls and inquiries. Good people, pleasant dhopping.

Beware! We have waited months for our order only to be lied to and put off. We furnished an entire house through them and it all needs to be returned because we can't get the matching pieces that were ordered. To top it off, they became completely rude when we wanted to return the pieces we did receive because they wouldn't supply the matching pieces. We are filing a better business bureau complaint and consulting an attorney. At this point we feel completely set up and lied to, just to get the money and they won't provide the product we ordered months ago. A new update! Ashley continues lying as delivery dates changed from 4/15, 05/01, 05/15, 06/01, 06/15, 07/15. And now they send me a recorded message saying the remaining piece of furniture is discontinued! When I asked the assistant manager to refund the money for the set so I could find a new set, he literally laughed at me, said "well that ain't happening but I will sell you more couches!". Currently my messages are going unanswered and I may be forced to file suit. Stay away from this store, folks!!! Update: many months later and still only games. Filling better business bureau! They are so horrible. Just an update. we still have not received our order or a refund!....…
