We had a very nice experience at Ashley furniture. There were many sales representatives ready to help us. Irene greeted us and explained how she could help or answer questions. She was available but didn’t pressure us. We literally tried everything in the store to find the right piece we were searching for. When we selected two chairs & a clock, Irene was able to put together a sales package. She went over the benefits of the service plan, which we also purchased. We don’t usually buy a service plan for furniture but decided to since both chairs were power recliners. Nice experience & Irene made it easy. Plus we came in during the holiday sale which helped a lot!

I went to Ashley to look for a living room chair to compliment my sofa pullout. STEPHEN came over as I was wandering & asked he could help. I shared with him & we proceeded to roam discussing my need etc. He was very polite yet extremely attentive! Tho he showed me a few i was not certain so he allowed me time to look on my own & when he came back i took him to a chair style i like but in blue. He said he would chk Online for other colors & found one to my liking..After billing, etc I noticed a $99 delivery charge which was explained to me as door to door delivery, setup and unwrapping...with one chair I thought it was a hefty charge......just very surprised by it! Just thought I would pass it on...but i was very pleased with STEPHEN'S salesmenship & personality!

My wife and I were met by Ashley representative, Jenna, who was very knowledgeable and courteous. She allowed us to look at different living room couches at our own pace yet was already to answer any questions we may have. We can honestly say it was her patience, knowledge, respect, communication and extra effort that made our decision to purchase our new sectional from Ashley.

Warning that delivery fee is nonrefundable. Sales person acted like a salesperson. I ordered a very expensive motor recliner. Great chair. Stopped working. Couldn't be fixed. Returned. Got partial refund. Called customer service and store 12 times. Customer service promised to respond with an email. I did not receive emails. I also was not refunded full amount other than delivery fee. Took 6 months to end up with no chair for $360. Highly dissatisfied.

I came in to purchase a couch for my 96 yr old mother. Robert Brisco helped us. I told him what I needed and he showed me several different couches. He answered all my questions and gave us prices. I selected one and he was able to give us a Father’s Day discount because my husband was a father. It was quick, easy and seamless. When we come back if we need any furniture in the future, we will request Robert

Wonderful service! Stephen was super-helpful. He listened to my ideal Wants in a sofa sectional, combined with the requirements of our small, weirdly laid-out living room space, and then spent quite a while showing me a few options and explaining/demo’ing all the features of each. He quickly measured each piece so I could come up with a configuration that would work. When I returned the following day with my husband, he cheerfully reviewed many of the things we’d already covered and showed us how to adjust various settings. All in all, it was more like working with a friend than a salesperson.

I wanted a new bed frame and I found one in less than 20 minutes. Semaj, my sales person, walked me around to see the options with my parameters and patiently answered my questions. I set up delivery and will see how that goes. Hopefully, I can update my review after delivery.

BEEN WAITING ON A NIGHTSTAND FOR A MONTH AND A HALF. Bought 2 marble top nightstands, on the delivery date one came broken. No biggie, things happen. I get a call to reschedule. Over a week goes by, and I get a call saying that they did an in-store inspection and the replacement night stand was also damaged, that they would contact me to reschedule (THEY NEVER CONTACTED ME, I CONTACTED THEM). 2 weeks go by and I call them, they say: "oh, the one we found was the previous model, as soon as I track one down I will call you today". (AGAIN, THEY NEVER CALLED, I CALLED THEM). A few days go by, so I call them and they say: oh, yeah, (THEY FORGOT, AGAIN!) these are the available dates. We agree on a date (I EVEN SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER to see if it could at least be delivered after noon, since I had missed classes due to dates that they never deliverd). 2 more weeks go by so I call customer service. TURNS OUT THERE WAS NO SCHEDULED DELIVERY ON THE SYSTEM!!! EVEN AFTER SPEAKING WITH THE MANAGER!!!

Great communication and customer service. We were able to order everything we wanted and the rep bundled it to make it a good deal! Also ensured we got the delivery date we wanted. We enjoyed working with the rep and would definitely buy from them again.

The salesman sold me the wrong couch because he didn't go to couch college I guess. Filed a claim the same it was it was delivered to have it replaced ( April 9!!!) not even a sorry yet.

The sales representative stephen was a pleasure to work with. They even had to fix a computer error on there part for a double charge on my bank account but they resolved it right away and they voided on charge and it cleared up right away from my account. There customer service was great

Terrible mistake doing business with Ashley. 1.3 stars from all customers on Yelp for a good reason. Salesman Jose lied to me to get me to make the purchase. Delivery promised by Jose after work, so I wouldn't miss pay, delivery scheduled in the middle of the workday. Called delivery service and got the run around. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, was told THAT WASN'T AN OPTION!!! Called customer service to complain, told their computers were down, so they couldn't help me. Totally dishonest business. Stay far away.

My husband and I had not had a great experience here once before but decided to give it a second chance. The first time, my husband and I we're looking for a piece of furniture, and was followed the whole time. The guy "helping" us said he would give us space but would be standing maybe a chair length away from us. He also told us stories when we were trying to decide on a piece of furniture. Ultimately, we didn't buy from Ashley's. The guy that was helping us went to check something, so we found that as an opportunity to escape and leave the store. This time around, no one followed us, and the person helping us was actually very helpful at first. We were looking for a couch that would pull out into a bed and was shown the only option they had right away. The guy who was helping us left us alone to hsve discussed and think about our options (color and size). We have a slightly smaller door frame and asked the man helping us if it would fit. He claimed it definitely would, and when I brought up my concern that it wouldn't fit, he said it definitely would. My husband and I brought up wanting to get measurements, but he didn't have a measuring tape and felt confident it would fit, so my husband ordered. They only have one delivery day available for my area, so my husband took the day off to be available to get the delivery. Day of delivery they let us know 10mins out that they would be here soon. As my husband and I thought the couch did not fit. They took the couch back same day, and my husband spent 45mins on the phone explaining over and over what happened to the person on the phone. The person said that my husband would get a refund in 24-48 hours. In the meantime, ashley's Ashley's sent 2 messages to my husband and 3 to me asking for a review. He didn't receive his refund, so he contacted Ashley's again, spent another 30mins on the phone with them, and went back to the store like the person on the phone said to. Once he got to the store, they told him this wasn't something they could help with in the store. He ended up getting his refund days later. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY'S!!!!! We ended up going to Valley furniture and were shown multiple options. We found 3 that we liked and picked from there. My husband and I brought a tape measure with us and was even offered one by the staff there. When it came time to place the order, they offered us a few different delivery days and times. Once we receive the couch, it fits perfectly, and we are so very happy with it. Highly recommend Valley furniture store!!!

ASHLEY cannot deliver their goods. They keep calling me for my address....I keep telling them what it is....they called to tell me they would deliver within the hour... Then they called me again... I was busy with water leaks on my property.so when I did not answer..They dropped me and and went on to someone else. I cannot tell you how many times.they keep contacting me.. In the end they did not deliver. Very disappointed and frustrated with how this was handled Janet Benjamin

Had a great experience shopping at Ashley furniture. The showroom was set up beautifully, and we were able to wander around without interruptions, but Jimmy was there to answer our questions if we had any. Found what we wanted, and he was so helpful in completing the sale. Very happy with our purchase!

I’ll be honest here. I had in my head that I did not want to go to Ashley for our new couches because I didn’t think they had quality furniture. But after visiting a few supposedly higher end stores and finding nothing of interest I had to at least take a look. Well, on my first visit, I found several couches I liked, but of course the one I liked best was the priciest, and had a six week delivery window. So I decided to see if I could find it online, and I did, from the Ashley store on Amazon. On Amazon, the same couch that was $3499 at the store was priced $1799, with free delivery the same week. I brought my wife back to the store to make sure she liked it, and while there, told the salesperson not to waste their time on us because we’d be buying online. She came back with the manager who offered to price match, and deliver same week. I accepted the offer and made the purchase. Delivery was $400 more, but I see value in having the couch (and loveseat) setup and the trash taken away. I’m giving 4 stars because I appreciate the price matching, and because the store staff were friendly. I’m not giving 5 stars because I somewhat resent finding the same couch for about half online, and having to play the price matching game. But I also get it. Times are tough for retail and they’re doing whatever they can to survive, which means getting as much as they can for each piece of furniture they sell, but having ample room to negotiate down. 100% seems like a crazy margin though, so it also is somewhat usurious.

Irene took us to the couch and let us sit on it and check it out. Irene did not try and get me to look at any other couches and was fantastic in helping us. Title: Terrible Customer Service - Stay Away! I would give zero stars if I could. Ashley Furniture failed to honor their service warranty, even though we had all the proper documentation. Their customer service team was unhelpful, dismissive, and downright rude. After weeks of back-and-forth, they refused to resolve the issue and left us with a defective product. This company does not stand by their promises. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere. Absolutely terrible experience. Stay far away! Email sent. No response.

My experience with Ashley couldn’t have been better. First, thank you for letting me bring in my little dog Sophie , who joyfully greeted all your customers. Then Francisco helped me find the perfect bed that I needed. Even one that had additional storage space, which was needed. Overall, five plus stars.

The employees that helped us in the store were not very helpful or kind. We were ordering for a lady with dementia and they were not patient and did not create a pleasant shopping experience. Also the first employee neglected to send our original order through the email, most likely assuming we would not be completing our purchase due to her condition, causing us to drive all the way back and reorder again.

Great Experience!

I was warmly greeted by Robert who took me to the selections available for the sofa bed I was looking for. We looked at sofa tables available and settled on one fitting my time schedule. Next he left me to pick out dining room chairs. My shopping experience went well. We’ve had good results shopping at Ashley.

Happy with store service and delivery set-up. One item was on back order and not delivered. Crew was polite, quick and efficient.

Shopping was easy and low pressure. We were greeted when we walked in, offered help, and then left to shop by ourselves, which we prefer. When we found the furniture we were looking for, the salesperson answered all of our questions, got the sale set up and the delivery in place. We have shopped here before and will return again.

I’m really disappointed with the furniture of my daughter’s bedroom set. The paint of the wood and the wood itself is really bad. We hardly have two months with it and it looks like it is old. The guy who installed it saying to me many times that the wood was cheap and it wasn’t good quality but that’s not what I heard from the sales person at Ashley. So I decided to give a try but it is really bad quality. I’m going to contact customer service for sure

We traveled to this Ashley store, which is about 60 miles away from our home and upon entering the store we were greeted by a woman sales clerk. She showed us some couches and she seem to be a bit confrontational and rude at times. We found the couch that we wanted, but chose not to purchase it at that time, because we did not feel that she earned her commission. After trying to order and pay for this over the phone, we drove back there to pay, but was told that due to a computer problem we could not proceed with the sale. We went back a week later and purchased the couch and was told it would be three weeks before the couch would be delivered to the store. We waited then traveled back there again to pick it up. This transaction could have gone smoothly if the sales clerk was nicer and more professional, we could have paid and ordered it over the phone and we didn’t have to travel there numerous times

Friendly low pressure sales staff. Knowledgeable about products they sell and they can’t answer your questions they will take time to follow up and find a answer your questions.

Irene is the absolute best! She understood what I was looking for and got me a great financing offer that included delivery and installation.

We came to Ashley to look for a couch for our first home. Irene walked us through what we were looking for, gave us some advice and mentioned things we didn’t even think about when looking for a couch! She walked us through the show room highlighting all of the features we wanted. We came back a second time with a better idea of what we wanted and although the couch we wanted wasn’t in the showroom, she showed us an example of the color on another couch as well as the firmness of a different couch that helped us confirm our decision on getting our new couch! She walked us through payment options and was able to get us a speedy delivery time. She was so knowledgeable of everything in the showroom and helped us feel very comfortable and ready for our first big purchase for our home!

The women at the further back desk are very judgmental. We purchased a sectional and coffee table and came in to change our minds before it was delivered. We picked a different sectional a bit more pricey and the two women working there were making faces as if we couldn’t afford the sofa. They later called someone for help to figure it out in there system and did not take us seriously at all. The women that helped us pick out and purchased our first sectional was amazing. I would not recommend coming to Ashley in Rohnert park if you are young. They will assume you can’t afford anything and will automatically assume you are financing.

I purchased 2 nightstands from Ashley Furniture about 1 year ago. Just barely over a year after purchasing them, I was noticing saw dust inside of both cabinets. I cleared everything out to find tiny beetles in the saw dust and access holes where they came out of. I hired an exterminator who educated me that they were powderpost beetles. They noted that these bugs often occur in the manufacturing process when wood is not dried out properly. The exterminator encouraged me to throw them away and reach out to the manufacturer. I reached out to Ashley furniture and let them know and requested a refund since this was an issue with their manufacturing process. They said that because it was a a little over a year, it was outside their warranty and there was nothing they could do. I shared with them that wood-boring pests (powderpost beetles) in their products is something I would hope they make exceptions for, especially given I was barely out of warranty. I was ignored from this point on. I am beyond disappointed in the customer support I received and in Ashley furnitures willingness to stand behind a mistake in their products. I will never purchase from here again and would caution others before they do also. The risk of wood-boring pests is not worth it.

Highly disappointed with the sales team that insured my family and I that the sofa purchase was a hardy and long lasting purchase. Long story short we had to call the product protection company out “5”Xs. Then, we were told because of our troubles we would have store credit at the time by store manager Cody and Robert who was our Salesman vouched for it as well saying there would not be an expiration date on our store credit and to come in at our convenience. We were greatly appreciative for that. Fast forward some time passed I went in to honor our credit and make a new purchase with it and was instantly told “Cody no longer works here, and your “”so called credit no longer exist”. Again, disappointed coming from such a well known company.

Robert was super helpful, but wasn’t overbearing or pushy at all. Huge showroom and nice prices. The setup and delivery with packaging removal is super cool also!

I went to Ashley looking for a bed frame. Wouldn’t normally leave a review for something I had a good idea of what I wanted. However, after meeting Sales Rep Daniel, I had to write a review. This guy is amazing! He is knowledgeable and gave appropriate time to think and confer with my wife, but was always in ear shot for the next question. To me, this is the perfect sales rep. If I owned a company that sold things I would put him as the lead sales rep and pay him an exuberant amount of money. Thank you Daniel, I wish you the best in your future, you deserve it.

REVISED: The store was great, but I have had the absolute WORST time with customer service! They do not allow returns, so unless you know exactly what you want, I don't recommend buying here. I am trying desperately to get help with an exchange. The chair that I sat in when I visited the store fit me perfectly. What they delivered does not. My feet don't hit the ground like they did in the store, so the chair is in constant motion and I get motion sick when I sit in it, which in turn gives me migraines. I called Ashley Corporate, they said I had to talk to the store. I went in and the salesman said that the store chair on the floor is 3 years old, so it was worn down and that is why my feet hit the floor. The lady at the CS desk said that she would email corporate. They of course denied the request. I am just trying to get a manager at corporate. I called them again and asked for a manager and after quite the run around, a lady who sounded exactly like the first one I spoke to said that she was a manager and that she would email them. I have not heard back and that was almost a month ago. They are the only chairs I have in my house, so I have to sit reclined or not at all.. I hope to get this resolved soon. I just want non-rocking recliners. Original post: I was I and out in 15-20 minutes from walking in the door to choosing my chairs, ordering and paying. I am looking forward to getting some comfortable chairs to sit in! The salesman was knowledgeable and able yo answer every question I had.

I walked into Ashley‘s furniture in Rohnert Park and was met by Daniel who has got to be one of the most outstanding customer service people I have ever experienced. He helped me locate and purchased the perfect furniture for my office within 30 minutes. If you need furniture, check these guys out.very much did you have anything else that you wanted?

Edit: Changing my review to 1-Star from 5-Star. The outdoor table set that was delivered 5/21/24 developed a ton of cracks on the table’s border frame by November (<6 months) through fairly temperate weather in the Bay Area CA. The cause appears to be the design with how the table slats are pinned to the border. This doesn’t allow thermal expansion which is a necessity for outdoor furniture construction. I turned this into Ashley 12/6/24. After getting the run-around with their Offshore call center and not having my call returned, I finally made some progress and they admitted it was a manufacturing defect and offered a replacement. However, a replacement wasn’t acceptable to me since it is an inferior design and the cracks will likely happen again. I raised the issue with the store in Rohnert Park. They said they would get with the Regional Manager to see about a return/refund or credit. They never called back. I called back and they said corporate had approved a credit but not one reached out. I indicated that a credit isn’t the ideal situation since it would reduce my buying power since we bought the set on sale and it would also put more money in Ashley’s pocket if we couldn’t find an equal or more expensive option. I asked to escalate the claim further and the representative told me to call corporate. I asked for the phone number. She told me to Google it and hung up on me! I’ve now filed a complaint with the BBB. Ashley initially reached out and was congenial. However, they came back with a rejection on return/refund and offered a credit for the amount paid. I had further questions on the terms of that credit but also asked them to re-assess the return. The representative said she would do so and get back to me Monday. She never called back. I left 3-4 messages for her with no returned call. I added an update to my BBB complaint and rather than calling me back, Ashley Furniture responded to the BBB thread incorrectly stating that I rejected their offer when in fact I rejected nothing since the representative agreed to re-review the claim with management and get back to me which never happened. I hope Ashley will take accountability for the products they sell and are strong arming their customers after the fact and causing them to jump through hoops. This claim started 12/6/24 and we are now here on 2/3/25. Update to follow. Original Review: Great experience. No pressure. Salespeople gave good space while being available for questions and conversation. Item prices were set as they should be so there was no need or option for haggling, deal making, or other annoyances.

I was greeted by a sales associate as I entered the store and she did follow up with me several times. I really wanted time to browse but I do appreciate the service. When I had finally found a sofa I liked I did find this associate who eagerly helped me.

I ordered a bed waited a week for delivery when it got there. (I have already. Discarded the old furniture).It was the wrong product they had to take it back.I went to the store and they could not get me a replacement.They expected my 84 year old Mom to sleep on the floor they had no solution for me and then I could not even get a refund $900 Not to mention it was an astronomical price for a twin XL bed frame. Now I have to wait for my money till they decide they can give it back. I cant buy a replacement until my funds are returned. She cannot sleep on the floor they said they understood yet have no solution. I had to put her up in a motel room like I can afford not to get my money back and put her in a hotel room and or purchase a new one all at once. I will never buy from Ashley again. And I've been buying from there for at least 15 years.

I like Ashley. I had previously worked with Ali, super great guy, and didn’t hover. I loved it that this time we asked if I could just purchase what I wanted, and luck have it, I could. Or I would have had to pay an extra $100 over the price of what I had to have it delivered, and my purchase was $99.00- Which I would have just walked away. No sale. Sorry to say I give Ashley only 3 stars, because of the “hovering” factor of your sales people. If your prices were not so good for furniture I would look elsewhere because of the sales people following you around so much. Obnoxiously! Ali was great tho and I appreciate him for that. You might want to have your sales people lighten up on that a lot! I know people that won’t step foot in your doors because of that reason. Again I’m happy with my purchases. My living room looks great.

Came in to buy a couch that I had looked at the day before. Was greeted at the door by a friendly salesman. Took him to the couch I wanted, asked a few questions about it, got the answers quickly and purchased the couch. I was in and out within a half hour… Which included setting up a delivery date. I would definitely not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. We bought a living room set. Ashley was only giving a partial delivery because the couch we had purchased wasn’t available when it was supposed to be. The ottoman looked much smaller in their giant store, it’s far too big for the living room. When I called them immediately after delivery they told me since I didn’t send it back with the truck they wouldn’t let me return it. Since it was a partial delivery, so they would be back in a week, it seemed it would be easy to take the ottoman then. They refused and of course I canceled the rest of the furniture. Very inflexible and uncooperative. My feeling is I was willing to work with them on the partial delivery they should have worked with me on the return

I bought my couch on 12/30 and they told me deliveries were booked until 1/24. I booked the 1/26. I asked how deliveries worked and the sales person told me they would call me the day before to set up a time to deliver. I never got a call today 1/25, so I called the store. The person I spoke to said they don’t have my couch in their warehouse and they are waiting for it to be delivered from overseas. She said, “it looks like someone rescheduled the delivery for 1/31.” Which I wouldn’t have minded but they never called to confirm that day or communicate the issue! I got rid of my old couch yesterday expecting to get a new couch tomorrow. Am I supposed to use camping chairs for the next 5 days?! I asked to speak to the manager and was put on hold. The hold lasted so long it hung up on me. I called back twice and no one answered. 2 hours later, I finally spoke to the manager and asked if I could get a sooner delivery date or at the very least, my delivery fee refunded. He said they aren’t allowed to do discounts. Great customer service Ashley.

I just went to Ashley Rohnertpark to discuss about my Tempur-pedic mattress I brought it from there that has a little issues but all they did was gave me number of Tempur-pedic without listening the real issues and told me they cant do nothing, they think i dont know how to get number . The furniture I ordered was on back order but that was alright. They gave me a notice that the furniture would be available Wednesday after thanksgiving, but it got delayed. A week later it got delayed again due to being damaged in shipping. This is ridiculous for how much I paid for in shipping 12/9/23 Update: I just got a confirmation email for re-delivery later next week. But the address listed was different than the one I put in. It was correct in my previous two confirmation emails so I don't know what happened. I went to change it and despite it being 100 feet away, my shipping date was automatically canceled and I was received a message that it would be another 48 hours until it can even be scheduled. I'm so close to just canceling and going elsewhere

I got the Sophia sectional which I love!! My boyfriend, son and I went to this location already having this sectional in mind. We were walking around the store trying all the different couches when we finally came upon the Sophia one that was in my online shopping cart. Right at that moment one of the store managers noticed us and began to assist us. He was extremely friendly and helpful. He called over a colleague to also assist. As it happens, the colleague had bought that couch for himself 6 months ago and the manager was also about to buy that one as well. They both agreed that it was the best bang for your buck. They also talked me into getting the couch installed by their team, which I was hesitant about but now so so thankful for. The delivery took less than a week and the install was so easy and stress free.

What a joke of a store and "quality" furniture. They run it like a high-pressure used car lot. And salesman follow you around. It's a poor way to run a company and an insult to potential quality customers. I get some people who need help, letting the customer come to you or at least letting them know you're there to help them with any questions is less pushing unwanted sales pressure. Read the room! Definitely disrespectful.

Disappointing. Feel like it is happening more often than not these days when stores close prior to the listed closing time. Drove all the way out here from afar to check one dresser. Arrived 25 minutes prior to the store closing, which is plenty of time to look at the one dresser, only to find all the doors locked and lights inside dimmed. If you want to close at 8:30 than list 8:30 not 9 pm.
