We went in to purchase a new sofa set . The Sacramento location is under renovations.(not that changed anything) When i walked in I was greated by Jimmy S. He asked if I had a flyer, the flyer which we forgot to bring with us, 60 years no interest. I told Jimmy we forgot to bring it with us. Jimmy replied, no problem. Once I told him what we were looking for, Jimmy led us to the sofa recliner area. We knew we wanted a sofa recliner but we wanted a change from the sectional sofa. We found so many to chose from, fabric, leather, another fabric which I forgot the name, sectional recliner and sofa & -love seat recliners. We finally found what we wanted, a style which(I) was not even on our list not that we had a list. We decided to go with 2 sofas recliners it was priced the same as love seat option and included the recline chair(I like to think of them as daddy recliner) We needed a coffee table and end table. A few of the sets were were interested in were discontinued. The 3rd set was also discontinued but they offered it to usv floor model at clearance price(as is ) . Overall , the trip to Ashley Furniture in Sacramento was a huge success. Thank you, Jimmy!!

Tanya was SO great to work with while we shopped for two bedroom sets!! She listened to what we told her and suggested some beautiful pieces, which were perfect for our new home!

Although I wasn’t greeted and nobody really seemed eager to help me for my first 15 minutes of me walking around the showroom. I was able to walk past a group more interested in their own conversation than helping customers or selling. Once I was able to pull someone away for conversation the buying process was fairly straight forward and easy. I still bought a couch, but that was due to really wanting the product. The other positive was delivery time was under a week which I saw as a plus.

I was looking for a reclining sofa and love seat and found the PERFECT set. Shopping experience was fantastic. Spoke to a salesman when I arrived. They allowed me to look without hovering. Only approached when I had spent a considerable amount of time with a certain set. Helped by showing me all the features. And then walked away. Let me dicuss with my friend before I made my decision. Of course I bought!

The Associate that helped me was fine. He did get the configuration of my couch wrong which I knew it would be. I was ok at first but when I tell you it has been the WORST customer service experience ever since. Let's start with I have not received any type if call or follow up since December 26 from Customer care(which is a joke) or the store. I have made multiple calls and gone to the store 3 times now. Have they offered anything for the inconvenience of time, gas and pure disregard? NOPE. So the wrong couch gets delivered, customer care calls and I let them know they create a case saying I will get a call within 24-48 hours with a pickup and new delivery date.. I advocate for myself and call the store at 10am on 12/26/24. I'll get a call back when customer service gets in at 1245.. 4 pm nothing so I call. Get told the pick up has to get approved. I got to the store Saturday causebi have not gotten a call told customer service gets in at 1..again amd why didn't i reject the delivery. I said inwas at work my mom accepted it. OK. Monday comes nothing. I call customer care(joke) you have to wait 72 hours. So now I don't even know why but I wait. No call from anyone. I call 01/01/2025 customer care ask for a supervisor, I speak to one she says she will put a credit on my file I can go to the store and pick out a couch( why? I just need the right configuration, it's in the system. ) but ok whatever. I burn more gas go to the store. Get it right. Delivery set up for 01/07/2025. I am again at work. My mom calls saying they have a order to deliver but not one to pick up. ARE YOU SERIOUS.. like make it make sense. The delivery driver calls his boss, this lady is rude af, then says she will try and get approval. Guess what it doesn't get approved. like HOW?? I am beyond upset leave work. Go home call the store no one answers per usual. Call goes to customer care(joke). All they can do is send a email I'll get a call within 72 hours. Like unbelievable. I ask to speak to a supervisor (not available) then one becomes available and still has to send a email. I ask for a corporate number. They give me the store like what the hell. They don't do anything there either. So I drive BACK to the store. The front desk lady send a message to the warehouse through teams. She said i will call you when they respond. I said no I'll wait cause yall phones don't seem to work. An hour later no response. She said I am her til 9 and will call. Do you know she never did. SMH. So since December 26th 2024 I have NOT heard from anyone from ASHLEY this business is a joke. I filed a complaint BBB case this is diabolical. Like deliver the right couch , pick up the old one and quit making me wait.

This man that worked there was very unprofessional. He got VERY VISIBLY upset when we had asked a woman to help us with ordering our couch and she was very sweet and she was very nice. He got mad at her and was telling her "this is mine" as in our order he felt like he should have taken us but he was busy with other customers. When she said that she had already taken our info and made the order he got mad and his face turned red. I felt bad but also he shouldn't have acted in that manner not only to a customer but also to a coworker. Very crazy experience but other than that everything went smoothly the management apologized on that man's behalf. Can't wait for my new couch thank you!!!

One of best store in USA

Found a great price on a recliner. Though had to search for someone to help. While I don’t like to be hounded by sales people not a single person approached me during the 20 min i walked around. Not even a greeting of welcome. When i did find someone to answer my questions it kind felt as tho i was inconveniencing them. But I was able to find what i was looking for at a good price.

Friendly employees and quick service

Hi, the first delivery team tried to deliver a damaged dresser and tried to convince my wife to keep it which is unacceptable. We Ended up refusing it and a got a replacement 10 days after. No compensation was offered to us for loosing a day of work and for all the hassle. Not happy.

Apparently Ashley's doesn't need sales! Drove all the way across town for two recliners and a coffee table. I went through the entire store and NOBODY even said hello. People sitting at the desk, salesmen on the floor, not one word. 2 other people looking around, empty parking lot. I bought a dining set from the Roseville one, oh well.

The sales associate who helped me was phenomenal. Ann had helped out my wife and I furnish our home office for our new house. However, after-sales customer service is non-existent and very non-empathetic. One would imagine that people who worked in customer service would be better suited in empathizing with customer frustrations, but they have no ability to realize the compounding inconveniences that a customer deals with during delivery and after-delivery of the furniture specially if things didn’t go smooth. I was going to furnish our nursery room through Ashley Online, but after going through their after sales customer service experience, I would advice against people buying here. I’m putting 2 stars mainly because Ann was helpful. This would have been 1 star if I was to rate strictly because of their customer service.

Stay away from Ashley!!Careful! I was left with only a part of an L shaped sectional because the other part came damaged and they did not have it in stock and now they don’t want to take back the part they left. They don’t want to give me my money back even though the item is defective!

Absolutely the worse customer service I’ve ever encountered!! can’t ever reach the store, and they transfer you to the Philippines.. I bought a recliner there .. First they didn’t deliver or call when they said.. Then they delivered the wrong color chair. I’m still trying to get a hold of someone to rectify the problem.. It in the Philippine loop!! Ugh!! I guess I’m going to have to go in person and believe me it’s going to be ugly when I do!!!

If i could give them a ZERO I would worst experience ever DONT buy from them there quality terrible an the minute you purchase from them an have a problem they give you the run around my friends an family have purchased from them an have experienced the same issues warning!!!!! I don’t see the purpose of the store getting back to me on a review there not going to fix the fact that I was promised a twin mattress after I was forced to keep the full size mattress which is still in the box an can’t use bec our room is to small so I don’t see the point in even responding

This review is by invite. The delivery drivers stomped into our house and steamrolled over us until we kicked them out. We simply wanted them to enter through the back door, a direct path to where the furniture would go. They pointed out every flaw previously on our walls after dragging a recliner across our new front door. The five year furniture warranty we purchased was never taken care of properly at the store, as a result we are TRYING to get that resolved on our own and it’s been a wild goose chase. We tried going through the store to take care of it, since they are supposed to, but the operator told us following up isn’t necessary which is GROSSLY incorrect. We could've been in a bad spot if we needed to use the warranty had we not taken action on our own. I would not recommend this to a friend.

The furniture is great. I did feel like the sales person was slightly dishonest. I walked in to purchase something I saw online and he said they didn’t have anything on the floor that inexpensive. Four minutes later I walked by the couch.

I have bought furniture here numerous time but never had a problem but this last living room furniture I bought was very low quality, I have been trying to return it for almost four months and they keep giving me the run around, I am very disappointed , I can not believe they are so disorganized.

The sales associate, Carmen, was super helpful and looked up the prices and optional combinations for the sofas, coffee table, and tv stands. She wasn’t pushy, was nice, and personable. She was able to get us all the possible discounts also. We ended up getting 2 recliner sofas and a coffee table.

Wanted to buy a cabinet. Came with my boyfriend since we are furnishing our new apartment. Just bought one from Walmart earlier today and wanted to also try Ashley’s since their designs look classy. Customer service greeted us but asked if we are over 21 and asked for IDs but “jokingly.” Then asked if we had anything to look for. Told them we wanted to buy cabinets. They said that they sell anything but cabinets, which isn’t true? There was a cabinet right behind the service desk and several around the store. We also searched up cabinets near us and Ashley’s furniture showed up which is why we came. Also, couple google reviews stating that people bought cabinets and within the past couple months. He referred us to Home Depot instead. Don’t know if it’s just because we look like teenagers but we are in our mid 20s wanting to furnish our new apartment. Also, had a snack in our hand while coming in. If it’s about the food, next time just say no food or drinks allowed and we’ll just finish it outside before coming back in. We came in with a purpose though and not to “stroll around.” I was confused at first because a furniture store should sell cabinets, but my boyfriend told me they clearly hinted at not wanting us in the store due to us looking like “kids” or carrying a snack. I had more faith and didn’t want to think that was true. However, as more time passed, I believe we were treated that way because of that.

I came here after viewing the website. The prices looked too good to be true and thought that I needed to see it in person. The website honestly doesn’t do the store justice. Tons of inventory of all different price points and styles. There’s something for everyone here. The store is clean and the staff are helpful and not pushy. Shout out to Sean McHenry for such a positive shopping experience! Wanted to mention that I paid less for delivery and assembly than what I l’ve paid at both IKEA and Wayfair. I was able to choose the delivery day at the store at the time of my purchase and was also kept in the loop in delivery day via their app. The furniture arrives mostly assembled so it took the assemblers 2 minutes to attach the remaining pieces. Ashley Furniture needs better marketing because I would have bought all my furniture here years ago had I known that they had quality competitively priced products with amazing assembly and delivery.

Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had at this natomas store. My partner and I bought an entire bed set that cost almost $10,000. The sales rep Carmen got our order wrong and sent us the wrong furniture, then failed to properly follow up. We were charged almost $600 more for the correct furniture pieces and we had to call to get a delivery date and figure out what was going on. We found out no new order was placed. When we spoke to one of the managers “Ouse” he was incredibly rude. I was shocked at the way we were treated when the mistake was theirs. There was zero effort to make things right or even apologize for the inconvenience from both Carmen and the manager “Ouse”. I’m so offended by this behavior I’m about to return the entire set and get my money back. I will be contacting other sources and will also leave other reviews for this negligence and terrible experience.

I used to really like Ashley, and most of the furniture in my new home was bought from their offline stores. The sales were very enthusiastic, and everything went smoothly. However, all of that positive impression ended when I had a problem with the Accent Cabinet I purchased online. The hinges on the Accent Cabinet had a design flaw, and within a few uses, half of the hinges were broken. I repeatedly contacted Ashley customer service, and the process was quite troublesome, involving over a dozen emails back and forth. Customer service promised to send a technician for repair. Incredibly, they arranged for a technician to visit three times, but each time I waited an entire day with no one showing up or even calling me. The response from customer service was that the technician couldn't reach me by phone. Absurdly, I had no missed calls on my phone, and I even provided my number to customer service again, but the technician never arrived. This happened three times, with the same excuse each time. I no longer have the patience to continue communicating with customer service. Additionally, the three-star rating I left on Ashley website was not displayed; instead, the product page shows two five-star reviews.

Jimmy is awesome! Sold us a fantastic Tempur-pedic mattress. He was informative and fun to hang with. Will look for him again in the future!

I walked in today with my fiancée and we were greeted by Ahmed, a nice employee who gave us a quick breakdown of what to look for. He checked in a couple times but wasn’t pressuring us as we browsed the store. We found ourselves in the clearance section where we found a fantastic deal we were going to jump on but there was also a tag attached mentioning 25% off - which caught our interest. An Asian gentleman was hovering around us trying to sell us on the set we were genuinely interested in but when I asked about the 25% off, he and a coworker shared a condescending laugh and said they wouldnt be able to keep the lights on if they were to give that discount. We also have a dog who occasionally goes on the sofa so we wash our own sofa covers at home but the Asian gentleman was insisting we shouldn’t be doing that. He claimed no sofa covers in the store should be washed. That then turned us both off to even purchasing anything but the guy kept hovering trying to sell us on it saying it’s a great deal - which it was, but he only helped in us losing interest in purchasing.

They keep skipping me for delivery after spending 8k here at this store. Was suppose to be delivered over a week ago. Don’t shop here. Very bad experience.

Your warranty is a rip off. Your finance bank, Synchrony, is a rip off. You permanently lost my business. Especially because of your bad partnership with Synchrony. I paid the min. required to pay off by the end of the promo, they said I didn't pay the balance by the end of the promo and I was charged interest for the full term from day one. Their min. payment due was off and somehow that's my fault. I will never shop at a store, even if I have the cash for the purchase, that uses Synchrony Bank.

This Ashley Store is a scam. I bought $10,000 worth of furniture that is broken, peeling 'leather'. I was naive and believed their sales tactics. They forced me into buying it by making me feel bad that if I cancel my order he will get fired, I should have gone with my instinct. He would text me nonstop to make sure I do not cancel my order; I should have seen that as a red flag. Thank God I kept the screenshots. I try calling the store and the manager is not in the office, "in a meeting", etc. I live an hour away. I literally cannot believe how unprofessional the employees are here. I will be filing a small claims court against them since they do not want to speak about a resolution. I have screenshots of every time I called, who I spoke to, and also the excuse of why the manager is not in. I gave them so many chances to help their customer resolve the issue, but it does not seem like they care. Their employees harassing their customers to buy the furniture or else they will get fired is so insane to me. I will make sure I use that to my advantage because that is no unprofessional. See you in court. :)

We visited the store but left almost immediately. The experience felt uncomfortable, as if we were being followed around, which is unacceptable. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a pushy car dealership. Definitely not for us.

This is a great store with tons of floor models. Ahmed was super helpful and easy to work with.

I bought bedroom furniture on July 21, sellers representatives said that delivery will be on July 27 in the morning. They wrote this date on my invoice. I waited until 2 pm this day , after called them . They transferred my call to different persons couple times and finished my call without solving my issue. After they call back and explained that sometimes delay happens, and they don’t have furniture available now and my bed furniture will deliver in one month the end of August . I sold already my old mattress and bed. They not informed me about late delivery. Sales representative blame each other but not solve any issues that was only by their mistakes. They charged for delivery $399 - very expensive but can’t do their job normally.

If I could give -0 I would, I purchased a picture and the store did not have change so instead of them taking off the cents they rounded up to nearest dollar. Wow and staff did not help me carry large wall art. Will never shop here again. Poor service

Mostly Tacky & Unprofessional. A loud staff that consist of the majority that shadows the more composed & professional ones. You smell cigarettes walking in and you smell it when picking up your purchase from the back of the warehouse entrance. Some merchandising person was on the floor who came across as a manager was some short individual with glasses who obviously decorates with a personal terrible design preference. Half the male staff smells like cigarettes and some type of drakkar noir cologne combination. You can feel how badly made a lot of the sofa by simply feeling around the back & by looking underneath. The beds on the floor appear well put together but upon inspection you can tell it's not bordering on unstable. I wouldn't trust my personal information at this store. It's also an uncomfortable temperature inside and most of the products look good but really cheap construction.

My experience when I recently visited Ashley furniture in Natomas. Tania WIllis was my sales rep she was great in the begging. I went in and ordered the Lanford bed i sat on the actual bed and measured as well as took the bedding off to see the platform and inspected if this was the right fit for me. Tania seen and placed the order. She failed to mention it was the incorrect on which is the panel bed. The next day Sunday 7/7 i called the ware house to schedule my appointment to pick up my items they gave me a date for Tuesday 7/9 at 1:30pm. on Tuesday i received a text message which is below in the photos states that it was out for delivery i was confused as i was to pick it up so i called the number and they confirmed it was out for delivery. at 1:45 i get a call from the ware house and said i missed my pick-up appointment i said i was told it was out for delivery between 5-6 pm they then said it was a system error. But i called they confirmed so i am confused. I then had to go have it picked up before 4:30 rearranging all my plans once again mind you i took time off work for this. i get home after picking up the furniture and proceeded to attempt to build it on weds 7/10 its incorrect i noticed it was the panel bed not what i wanted. I then proceed to call the ware house they said it was the correct items i needed to reach out to the store so then i call no one answers after 4 phone calls. so i drove over to the store again i arrived and i see Tania her response was oh you were my client as there was another woman at the counter to see her i said no the furniture you ordered foe me is incorrect. she did not seem to care was more interested in assisting the customer that came to see her i also called in advance with no return call. i get passed to customer service a lady behind the desk who also was un wiling to assist me in calling the warehouse and wanted to argue with me i said look i called your ware house to verify they have it in stock i explained to them my situation she said i have it and can pull it for you to pick up today i explained that to the store they said the cannot speak to them as they have to have a sales ticket and it takes two days. i explained i have this all figured out for you., i was willing to repurchase the bed and wait for my refund until we figure this situation out as the store manager mustafa or whatever his name is came back on Saturday so they gave me a tall skinny clean gut guy key holder who had his own made business card with aw i asked for everyone's business cards his response was we do not have any as were cutting costs. Your telling me your beautiful store cannot afford a business card... wow. So, then i proceeded on how will you assist me in getting my furniture correct. he said free delivery there is not much i can do because you didn't purchase a whole set only the bed frame. i don't want delivery ill pick it up myself. he also said what do you want me to do fire her meaning Tania the sales member who assisted me and wrote it incorrectly i get we all make mistakes but wow that's not something you should say to a customer. i was told they are making a case and would take 72 hours for a response i then proceeded to ask will i get an email they said i would get a call so i then asked can i a reference or case number. she had not even made the case yet she said how do i do this to the key holder so if i did not ask i would have had to wait longer. It’s now 7/12 and still no response the store is still not answering the phone it’s almost impossible to get in touch with any one from this store. I called customer service they told me the case had been transferred to the correct department and I’ll have a resolution or answer in 72 hours. excuse me this is not my fault i have waited for long enough already and missed work as well all i want is what i paid for mind you i paid in cash for it to. My whole house is Ashley furniture but after this i do not think i will go back they have gone way downhill with the service here. please see my photos of everything.

I wouldn't buy a hairpin from this place. Horrible customer service. Delivered the wrong size mattress the first time. The second delivery the mattress was defective. After 2 months still waiting for the mattress. I wouldn't give them any stars.

Our previous furniture was an Ashley furniture brand from an local furniture store. We had them for a good 8 years in fair condition used. Only reason for an upgrade was we had our newborn recently and would like new beginning -( including remodeling the living room space before going back to work). I want a sectional chaise sofa where we can spend mommy and baby time or just family time lounging that's where I found the perfect match at Ashley' furniture in Natomas. Kiki the Trusted Advisor greeted us when we walked in had a friendly conversation as to what we are here for. Note* Kiki asked the right and specific questions to narrow her recommendation for us which I appreciate Kiki for not wasting our time or trying to make a sale. She took her time and always gave us space as well. With Kiki's expertise, she showed us some options and we found the one. I asked her opinions on home decor and setting the sectional at home since my hubby isn't good help lol she advised and helped me vision how my set up would look like based on the description of my living space. I appreciate the talk almost like I'm talking to my sister for her opinions that's how comfortable Kiki communication with guests. We're glad we purchased there and even more gratitude for the exceptional customer service both Kiki and the Manager Musab for accommodating my last minute request without charging me. When I made the purchase I had opted out the no hassle delivery and went for the doorstep option for cheaper. The next day I texted Kiki (she gave me her business card for questions or concerns) to make a change of plans for no hassle delivery because with the newborn I don't think we will be able to setup the sectional by ourselves so we agree with our experience with Ashley brand we have it to the expert to do their job. Manager Musab approved the change and also didn't charge us which took me by surprise. Me working in the customer service industry, I am impressed with experience. Went here for couch shopping. Once I entered I told the employee what I was looking for and my max budget. They gave me a look that was kind of like "really that's your max" and proceeded to tell me the cheapest sectional would be over my budget ($2,000) so, I already felt a little uncomfortable. When I was looking through the store I felt like I was being watched and hawked down the entire time. I could not process a single thought or opinion on the furniture without an employee to come up to me and ask me if I want to buy it. There was one moment where I considered hiding in the bathroom because they were right outside the door waiting for me. I know it's not their fault as the employees get paid on commission but, I would like a little more freedom with my shopping. Really nice couches though but, I am not in the right tax bracket.

I’ve been a customer with Ashley for years, never ever ,have I experienced the service that I received when I walked into the Ashley store in Sacramento. I go to use some store credit that I received from a purchase that my boyfriend made. The guy was not very helpful. He was even rude. Made me feel uncomfortable and he act like I couldn’t use the store credit/gift cards. After my boyfriend had made a $13,000 purchase in the store! Other Ashley stores that I’ve shopped at I’ve always felt welcomed, but not at this location. I went in a second time along with my boyfriend, and they still acted kind of funny about us using the gift cards again after he had made such a large purchase. I was eventually able to use two of the gift cards, but I felt like I still had to pull it out of them. I definitely will be going to another location and especially I’m someone that always shops at Ashley frequently. With me being a therapist/life coach, I understand that there is definitely neat for improvement in his handling with customers. But I’m still disappointed

Absolutely terrible. Sent me a broken table and making the replacement process impossible. Good luck if you need to call the store. They do not answer their phone. I have tried calling literally 50 or 60 times on different days. Not sure why they bother with a phone line. The sales rep that gave me her direct line also does not return my calls. Corporate support is useless and says they will "email the store on my behalf" but cannot do anything. I expected a lot more from this company with regards to customer service.

I came in on a whim, and considering I didn't have a positive experience at another Ashley store in Santa Clarita, I wasn't expecting much. However, the Sacramento staff is sooo helpful, and I ended up working with an associate (Vinny) who has great taste and got the aesthetic I was going for; he gave amazing feedback on things I wouldn't even have thought of regarding decor. Highly recommend the Ashley Store in Sac, and especially Vinny Ly :)

My husband and I went to this location and we were beyond offended and disappointed.The employees here were aggressive and rude. We were offended at the fact that, we are a young couple and the one man at the front entrance didn’t take us serious and basically told us we are wasting our time. We ignored him and continued. Another gentleman kept trying to make us buy furniture and he was following us around. We notice everyone else were left alone while shopping no employees were forcing them to buy furniture. I don’t know if it was because our age and they thought they could get away with making us stupid but it was a very offensive and disappointing will not be returning to this location ever again.

I loved the customer service that I received when I visited the Natomas location. I was looking for Bunk Beds for my daughter. I found the right one. The products look well made. Derek Martinez was awesome. He greeted me at the door. I wanted a rug for my daughter's room. They didn't have any in stock. So, they offered me the store display for a discount. Which I was able to take with me. If he is there ask for him. He'll ask you what You're looking for and he'll show you what they offer. I leave out of town so my delivery will take place when I come back in town.

I ordered two recliners that were supposed to be here on the 04/13/24 , received a call changing the delivery date to the 04/20/24 now today I get another call stating that recliners will not be delivered until 04/27/ 24 I am stuck waiting for the product because I paid cash and for me to get my money back it would take another 3 weeks for me to get my money back by check how do I trust a company to get a check to me when I cannot even get what I purchased . I hope that this helps and I have now learned to look at the reviews on the BBB site if I had look at the reviews there I would not have purchased products from Ashley. They do not care about the customer once that get your money, all the store will tell you is that read the back of your receipt, in which they do not tell you at the time of purchase, so please read the full return policies and DO NOT PAY IN Cash because if I had been informed to read the back of my invoice for the returns policy I would not have paid cash because if I had put it on my cc I would have it back on my card in a week and a way to track the process and away to do a charge back if I do not get my furniture.

Melissa was very helpful and tried to get us a good discount. Her manager didn't approve it but she was very helpful and patient with us taking our time. We got a chest, dresser, and mirror all for under 800 which included shipping/delivery and assembly.

She was transparent and answered all of my questions. I got exactly what I wanted (bed frame), I came in on Sunday and made my purchase. Unfortunately I gave her the wrong size of the bed frame. I called the next day (Monday) to change the order, as my delivery date was a Thursday to surprise my Fiancee. Unfortunately Melissa was not in when I called, I spoke with Tina who took care of everything for me. She made sure my delivery date stayed the same (which was imperative), and corrected my mistake. I called back to make sure everything was all set, and a woman named Amber was able to help me and confirmed everything was good to go. Really shows how the team works as one. Thank you for all of the communication! Now hopefully everything gets delivered on Thursday, I will update my review if needed. I will be coming back for the living room set. Great options in the store, glad I came here.

The first thing that was pleasant was, she didn’t press me she simply said welcome and said to let her know if I needed help which I immediately did. My sister is having the worst experience with Ashley. My sister is having the worst experience after being told they would not honor her warranty. I'm sure this how they get out repairs or replacing and get to getting to keep hundreds of dollars that people pay on warranties. First, she lost everything to house fire, then, to poor quality. You're better off spending your money at Naturewood Home Furnishings or RC Willy. They have both been outstanding with any furniture issues and Naturewood, I still have kitchen table set after 22 years and their sofa I had for 11years and was replaced with an RC Willy couch. Even after having people of different sizes and lengths of time sleeping on it has held up going on 12 years. Deal may look and sound good at Ashley Furniture, but buy at your own risk.

Very disappointed with Ashley customer service. Bought a chest that had some damaged and notified the delivery person. I was told technician will come repair the item and if not satisfied it will be replaced. A technician came after a few days and made it look worse. I have asked to get the item replaced and they are telling me it is past the 72 hours deadline and cannot be replaced even though the item was reported at time of delivery. Good luck trying to get a hold of anyone with their virtual assistant just spinning you around.

They cussed me out in Spanish, told me that I was wasting their time by going through their deliver truck because they brought out the wrong stuff, and were extremely disrespectful to me and MY home. They came to deliver on the 23rd around 10am. I received no compensation for their disrespect and all I’m forced to do is write a complaint which might not even go to the third party. I’m never shopping with Ashley’s again, this is the third inconvenience this store has brought me and I’m just disappointed

Went to Ashley during the President's Day sale and found one couch we really liked. Unfortunately the person helping us, Yaya, was extremely pushy about us buying in that very moment. We mentioned we are still looking around at different stores and just want to make sure we are making the right decision. A couch is a big purchase and so we didn't appreciate how pushy he was coming across. When we sat down with Yaya to go over the total for the couch we were interested in he gave us a total of around $3,700. We told him a couple times we did NOT want to purchase the warranty because it added another $250-300 to the total. Of course that $3,700 had the warranty included and so we had to ask him to remove that. Then the total was brought down to $3,500 once he finally removed the warranty. Again, we didn't want to make a decision too quick before looking around at other places so we reminded him that we were going to leave and possibly come back to purchase if we do not find anything else. When we told Yaya this, his demeanor instantly changed and he said to us, "I was just trying to help you guys out but okay.". This made me super uncomfortable because it felt like we were offending him. This entire experience just felt extremely shady and weird, from Yaya constantly going back and forth to "speak with his manager" about what he can do for us on price, to his demeanor and how he treated us once we wanted to leave and explore our options. It honestly felt like he just wanted to make a sale and didn't have the customers best interest at heart. We would've easily come back to purchase this couch if we weren't made uncomfortable. It was all an immediate red flag. Once we got home I went online to double check on the numbers Yaya gave us in store for this exact couch/same measurements and of course he never told us there were TWO different options for delivery. He was putting in the most expensive delivery fee without sharing the other cheaper option. And when I went to check out, my total online came out to $2,800. So from the total of $3,500 that Yaya gave us, to my own total online of $2,800 that is a nice difference and a little alarming to me. It's very obvious they're commission based because these employees will increase your total as much as possible without telling you if there are any cheaper options to choose from. I filtered these reviews to "lowest rated" and it seems these employees are trained to work this way. I would recommend nobody shop here! We ended up finding a couch elsewhere and will not be coming back to this store ever again.

I also spoke with customer service and they lied and said I would be able to choose a different couch, per Heather at the actually store, which the store has denied due to their policy. The policy states I can return the couch within 3 business days if there is something wrong the couch and the store does not follow their own policy. Very frustrating. Do not shop here!!

I was shopping for a sofa chaise and Vinny zoomed around the store showing me their entire selection in about 5 minutes. I quickly found my price range and preferred color and was able to buy the sofa immediately with 3 day delivery.

I lived in Texas for over 20 years, and I had never experienced such poor service in furniture delivery as I did at this establishment. It's unbelievable. We went to make a purchase in mid-January, and the delivery was scheduled for the first few days of February, only to be rescheduled for the end of the month. To me, this is a terrible delivery service. If you are someone who, like me, values immediacy, I don't recommend going to this place. My furniture still hasn't been delivered, and I am concerned about the condition in which it will arrive and the installation process. I won't be purchasing from this furniture store again.

I had a great experience at Ashley Home Furniture in Natomas!! The store itself is beautiful and well laid out. The customer service was top notch!! Super friendly staff that were patient and helped me find the perfect sectional for my home!! The team at Ashley worked to help keep me within my budget too. And delivery was timely and professional. I’d highly recommend this location, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you!

Customer service was great and plenty of furniture to choose from. Prior to this we went to 6-furniture stores. This was the only one that had better furniture and a better display. Only downfall is the shipping. Wish they had a closer distribution center so I don’t have to pay $99 for shipping to my house.

I had a very disappointing experience at Ashley. After I purchased a table from then I was told I had to take it apart (since it wouldn’t fit through the door) and load it into my car with no help. I have NEVER been to a furniture store where I have to take apart the things I buy in order to get it through the door. My sales man was very impatient and slightly rude my entire visit.

Absolutely don’t go here. Ridiculous and stupid place to go to. Have completely ruined the Ashley brand name. I was attended by a guy waiting near the door named Muhammad, and he was waiting like a predator. Then I told him I was here to see some mattresses and he did not ask me any questions and took me to the most expensive mattress the temperpedic. And he said: this is the best mattress, you won’t need anything else and he was scrolling on his phone while talking to me. Literally, how stupid is that? He kept bluffing. And then we told him off. After a while I noticed, he was eyeing my wife from far away. Kept staring and following us. Very uncomfortable and a crazy place. And then we had a question about something but we chose to not talk to him and instead chose to talk to this guy, yahya, and he started talking. He seemed okay at first, but he literally didn’t know anything. He didn’t seem like a new hire otherwise I would understand, he was pulling out papers and reading that stuff out loud, and that too was wrong, also he was being very pushy. Then when I said we’ll come back, he started getting pissy. And then he proceeded to say: Where’s my commission man? Cmon I spent an hour on you guys( even tho it had just been 20 minutes which i think is normal since we are looking for options in the market). He started getting very mad. And said he had told his manager that he will get a commission. Sales are not done like this. I am sales myself and they give such a treatment. You can’t look at people like commissions and also like objects( the other creepy guy who kept staring and was disgusting since he was following us even tho we said we’re good on our own) You have to know how to actually listen to people and respect their decisions. I don’t know how people like this get hired. I don’t like to give bad reviews but I wanted to share this so someone else doesn’t have to go through such rubbish experience. I used to like Ashley, but I won’t be stepping foot in there ever again. Anyways, please stay away. Literally disgusting and disrespectful people/workers

I love the furniture ..but there were 2 guys who worked there who were very rude and pushy and wanted me to apply for credit . I told them I was not interested in applying but insisted. When I did not get approved which I had told them I may not be approved they litterly walked away and there whole attitude changed . They work on commission and it shows . I wish I had gotten there names but I can tell you one wears glasses Arabian nationality I believe. The other man is a heavy set man that sits at the counter doing credit checks or whatever. I recommend the furniture not these employees.,

I tried to call today (1-28-24) to discuss a rebate I never received. I was pretty friendly and polite. However, the woman working the phones put me on hold for 20+ minutes twice, picked up the line when I tried to call back and hung up on me twice (quite aggressively), and the store didn't answer when I tried to call back. What a nightmare!

Helpful staff and good selection of a wide variety of furniture. Delivery charges were noticeably higher than most of their competition. Was not thrilled that an extended warranty was automatically added to the cost when going thru checkout that has to be refused to have it removed. The sales staff should ask before adding this or you could miss it in the final price. Not blaming them as this is likely a sneaky corporate policy.

Employee Wahab waziri needs to learn how to be talk to the customers. He’s super rude and doesn’t know how to mind his own business. Store manager was helping me and he kept on interrupting her regarding our order and kept on asking questions even though she had told him 3 times she doesn’t need help. He still didn’t stop and kept on nodding like he’s the only smart mind in that store.

I cannot remember more than 5 stars, otherwise I will give 10 or more! The Sacramento Ashely store is the best site ever. Find Jimmy and he will give you the best deals. Very nice staff and manager here.

I understand the sales representatives probably work for commissions, but wow! My partner and I are trying to furnish our new home & the man who greeted us would not leave us alone. We made it clear we were trying to browse because we needed quite a few things. He thought it was wise to only acknowledge my husband and not I. Along with quite literally dragging us away from our interested couch to the most expensive. He acted as a literal predator following throughout the entire experience to the point were he chased us as we were leaving. Definitely try the Roseville location instead.

I went in on a Saturday night and after looking around I decided on few accessories. After being juggled between couple of sales people, I ended up with Wahab, my initial greeter at the door. Wahab was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. He even helped me taking the accessories to my car. 5 stars for the staff at the store. We had a great experience picking out a new couch. We got a "guaranteed" delivery date for 12/14 and so decided not to do our usual Christmas tree/decorations until the couch arrived. Then delivery pushed out a week. Now pushed out again till after the new year with no promise it won't be longer. "I mean, it could be sooner or it could take longer. There's no way for us to know." WHAT? Aside from the frustration with Ashley's inability to accurately track their inventory, communication has been inconsistent. First delay in shipping, my husband got a call and I heard nothing. No email, call or text. Second delay, I get a call, husband gets a text. Who knows who they will call, text or email for the next delay, much less to actually schedule the delivery if the couch ever comes back into stock. Unfortunate, but we'll be trying to find something else somewhere else where they know what's in stock and can stand by a solid delivery date. This was a very disappointing experience.

Ms Mayo at Ashley Furniture gave me excellent customer service. She was very dedicated to finding me a mattress that I would be happy with. Her Supervisor met me at the door after my purchase to thank me for being a customer and informed me that I would get some coupons. Nice experience and Ms. Mayo is an asset to the store. Gale B.

Poor customer service

BIG RIPOFFS!!! If you're elderly, disabled, or only wanting an item as opposed to buying a whole grouping, forget this so called home store. Week and a half ago we went in. We were immediately greeted (of course) by a man named "Ouse" (like house without the h he says). As soon as he found out that we were only planning to buy a recliner he ditched us. Never once did he come to see if we had found anything at all. Apparently we weren't worth the small amount of commission that he'd make off this sale. Either that or it was my elderly, disabled look. We went back a couple of nights ago. This time we are immediately greeted by Maria. We wanted to see a recliner that was listed on their website, and in fact said on their website, that it was located at their North Freeway location (aha perfect). Instead Maria lead us to a recliner that is on sell for over $2 thousand some odd dollars. And that it was pick up only, no delivery. Which sets off red flags that something is not right with it. Again we tell her that we want to see the sale chair that we came to see. We found it on our own, and the sticker said it was about $500 more than listed on their website. She said she would need to check into it because her iPad showed it at the higher price. I told her that it didn't much matter what her iPad said, it was listed online for less. So she disappears and comes back 15 min later to say things under her breath. I've already told her about 3 times that I can not hear her and she doesn't raise her voice. The most I could get out of her was that the website was not the same as the store. They don't honor those prices. They are separate. I asked her if Ashley was going to start practicing the way that American Furniture Gallery operates. She took offense. I said, well that's what they do, they advertise for one price to get you in and then all the prices change. Guess what? She disappeared and we never saw her again. I ask again, is it because I am elderly? Disabled? Don't look like I have enough money? You won't make enough money off me? I call BS to all the above. I own my own home, my own cars, and I wanted to be comfortable for whatever time I have left. I am sick and dying. All I want is a chair to be comfortable in! Do I need to come in and beg someone to sell me a recliner to die in? I know you don't care obviously, but I just want you to know that my feelings are hurt, my pride is too. I don't want people to know how limited time is for me. It's embarrassing, it's sad and I don't want to die. I'm not ready to die. I should live for another 10-20 years. I don't even have grandchildren yet. So you Ouse, and Maria, thanks for doing nothing for me. Thanks for thinking of your wallets instead of human kindness. And as for you Ashley Furniture on North Freeway in Sacramento, shame on you for having these 2 as employees and for switching prices up on your consumers. I do believe that what you are doing is illegal. I will be contacting Consumer Affairs, so you may want to get it together. What a joke you are.

My wife and I came in to Ashley Furniture tonight, and we had the pleasure of working with Vincent. We had a better experience than we could have hoped for. Vincent was kind, thorough, and knowledgeable about any and all questions we had. Buying furniture can become a daunting task for new home owners and we just felt very taken care of. He went out of his way to find the best fit for us, and we walked away completely happy with our new couch set. Thank you so much again!

I ordered a couch/loveseat set from this store and couldn’t have had a worse experience. There is zero transparency or communication once they have your money. My couch was purchased 10/30 with a delivery date of 11/17 promised to me. When the delivery guys (who were very helpful and not part of the problem) showed up, they only had one of the two pieces that I had ordered. I was not given any advance notice of a delay or anything so when I followed up, I was told it would be delivered on 11/20. Once again, on the delivery day I received a call telling me it was delayed again and would be another 8 days before my couch would be delivered. The day before my couch was scheduled to be delivered, I got an automated text telling me that my couch would be delivered between 11 AM and 3 PM so I planned my entire day around making sure I was available to receive the couch during that window. I got a call at 9:15 AM saying that they were 15 minutes away. The delivery guys were once again very helpful and not part of this problem. Bottom line - I would not recommend buying from Ashley. The whole process and everyone I worked with was very sketchy, not helpful and communicated poorly. Look elsewhere!

My salesperson was great. Professional, funny, and friendly. I sat and tested a couple of sectionals and purchased one. Big mistake. It's football Sunday, and this piece of sh!t is so uncomfortable after sitting for a while. I can feel the wood behind my legs. Hell, my feet are swelling up. My bad for choosing a basic sectional instead of a recliner sectional (my new place is small). I will pay it off in 2 months. Sell it and this time go to a store with real furniture. Not wood and temporary cushion. I'm so disappointed with this crap!

Carmen was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We happily purchased our first TempurPedic bed with the adjustable frame and a beautiful headboard! It was our second time purchasing from Ashley. Both times Tania worked with us. Our questions were answered,. She was down to earth. We were shown arounded to the specific furniture of interest and left to freely walk around without any pressure or urgency to commit. Great experience!

**Update on my review from 11/20/23. We received our beautiful dining room table. The delivery men were nice and delivered everything quickly. HOWEVER, when they were installing the table (screwing the top to the base) they complete ruined, stripped the screws, and broke the underside of the table. I'm fairly certain that they were aware they did this but said nothing. I did inspect the delivery, however, did not notice this. I was made aware later that evening when screws started falling out all over the floor. My husband went to screw them back in and that is when we saw the nightmare installation. We immediately (6pm day of the delivery) called the store (which is open until 9pm) but no one answered. We called upwards of 15-20 times and it would just ring and then hang up on us and state the store was closed when in fact it was open. I then called Melissa's cell phone (the sales associate I had so highly rated on my previous review) and she didn't answer. She never answered her phone a week prior when I was letting her know we would be back to purchase the table either and that should have been a clue. I called her several times last night and no answer. I left her a vm and honestly do not expect a phone call back.I was finally able to get ahold of customer service today (the day after delivery) to file a claim for a replacement and my hope is that it will go smoothly.I hope this is a warning to everyone to be extra cautious with purchase, delivery, and especially installation of your furniture purchased here. I'm sad because we have had good experiences in the past with Ashley and hope this is just a one time fluke situation. I will update again once we get our replacement.

Love Ashley Furniture but bad customer service. Wahab was not helpful. He could not answer any questions and seemed like he didn’t want to help us. I asked him if they could hold some picture frames or sit them somewhere because I wanted to purchase and he said “no, just hope someone doesn’t take them if you want to continue looking around the store”… they we’re taken. He also mentioned there were no carts to help us carry 4 large picture frames but another sales associate brought a cart to help another customer. Bad day at Ashley’s!

Now with my recent purchase I ordered a sofa, love seat, coffee table, 2 end tables, and 2 lamps. I was told the lamps were on back order. It's been about 2 weeks since I placed my order and received everything accept the lamps. I decided to call to check the status after speaking to customer service I find out my order for the lamps was cancelled without me being notified. I had to call the store numerous times before someone answered I was told the lamps were discontinued and that they were unsure who cancelled the order and why I was not notified. The customer service at this store is very poor. I could not even get someone to assist me when I did make my purchase. I WILL NOT be ordering from here again.

She was the representative at the door when I entered the North Freeway Sacramento store, and she listened to my needs, and sold me exactly what suited my budget, size of space and showed me many different options. She has a warm personality and I connected with her instantaneously. She was also very knowledgeable and to the point. Very quick with service and very detailed with the process. So I have been a loyal customer with Ashleys for 10 years. I have a credit line w/ them for 2k w/ Genesis which is now called Concora Credit. I usually order my furniture online. it's less hassle and I just dont have the time to go in store. I could not find my Ashley advantage number so I had called Concora credit to see if they can help me retrieve that number. They provided me with my Ashley advantage number but for some reason It wasn't taking it online so they told me to call Ashley furniture and provided me with 866-436-3393. I called their line, a woman named Tia picks up. I told her that I was given their phone number to hopefully help me out w/ my online order. She immediately responded "I can't help you , can you come into the store"? I said Noooo, I can't come in that is why im trying to purchase my order online She says , Well I can't help you I dont deal w/ online orders. She didnt even ask me what kind of help that I needed, she was extremely rude , stank attitude and brushed me off. She said who gave you this number? I told her the phone number is online and Concora credit also gave me the same number. I asked her for her manager bc obviously this woman hates her job and was not trying to help me. She said I AM THE MANAGER . okay what kind of manager speaks like this to a customer ?? Carmen & I hit it off when I met her last year, I purchased a recliner ,this year I purchased a mattress & planning on purchasing a dinette set.

I had a great experience at this store. Aws was the employee that helped me with my purchase. He was able to answer all my questions and give me the best deal for what I was looking for. He also went out of his way to help me load the furniture when their loading employee was out.

We purchased a sofa, loveseat with a coffee and end table.We ask their customer service to return the coffee table and end table, but they give us credit for the coffee table. We went to the store to figure out what we wanted to replace the coffee table & found out they didn't give us credit for the end table. They are a set. Then we order a different coffee and end table, but it going to take 17 days to ship it to us. When your a dissatisfied customer you would think Ashley's would be better at customer service. This will be the last time I purchase anything from this Company.Bad customer service and sales rep.

Amazing customer service

Very helpful, to select my bed from my son , and get everything in good price

I just went in today to let them know I don't want anything from them and I want a refund. They intentionally made a mistake with the initial purchase then they fixed it supposedly. Again I received a call about the same mistake that they had previously corrected but did not a day before the delivery. I can not continue, I want a refund but I can't get refund before 72hrs. Not happy with service!

Over promised, and under delivered, the whole reason I bought from here was because they do set up and delivery and that's what I was sold on so I would pull the trigger. When the delivery driver got here I was told that it's customer set up. For me if I would've known that from the get-go I would've went and got it myself and had it done five days ago instead, I waited just to be disappointed and have to put it up anyway. Will probably be the last thing I ever get from there I don't like being upsold on value to take the bait then be let down and some of the corners on my furniture are messed up so watch out

Super off putting staff. When we walked in we were immediately bombarded with questions by a lady with super short gray hair. She literally followed us around the entire store, from the moment we walked in all the way to the clearance section. She asked for our names repeatedly and when we didn’t answer she continued to follow us and ask again. The entire time we were looking at furniture I was on edge knowing that I was being followed and watched. Every corner I turned this same woman was there. We stayed no more than 10 minutes because of how weird and stressful this experience was. Would NOT recommend whatsoever.

We had such a wonderful experience here because of the fabulous customer service. Vinny & Kiki were so helpful and kept our budget in mind too. They didn’t pressure us and helped us find the perfect couch for our needs. We love our couch and would definitely go back because of these two.

I had an amazing experience buying a new couch here, thanks to Vinny it was quick and easy! He helped me find what I was looking for before even stepping foot in the store making it a quick process once I did. He even followed up after the delivery and set up and made sure everything was perfect, and it was!

Polite, friendly, helped me find a recliner that I could get in and out of. A straighter back than most, and a shorter seat position. Now I don't need a ladder to get into a good solid recliner. And I can still recline good enough to sleep in it. I'm looking forward to all those naps I fought so hard against as a kid. The sales woman was great. Even more important, she appreciated our sense of humor and was laughing at our jokes and stories. I don't go shopping much and she made it a pleasant and memorable experience. Unlike at other high pressure sales points, she listened to what I wanted and didn't try to upsell me on every item in the store. She kept her focus on exactly what I wanted. I value someone who respects my desires and doesn't try to shift us to a higher selling item. I will be shopping at Ashley's in the future.

If I could give a good 0 I would! Took our Autistic son in today to look a different beds he is a big boy 6’4 350 and we are WELL aware what and what NOT to get HOWEVER with him being 18 now and wanting to give him the sense of independence and feeling like an Adult we thought what a better place then Ashley to try different options and decide on his own…BOY WERE WE WRONG! We walked through the store avoiding sales men until the end when some small Asian guy decided to tell my son “you won’t fit in that” vary loud and rude when my husband said we are just showing him different ideas he proceeded to repeat himself then tells my husband he’s making a wrong decision my son chimed in saying please don’t talk to my dad like that and this gentleman proceeded to YELL to my son and husband “JUST GET OUTA HERE” over and over again until I asked to see his manager when he came over he completely agreed that that gentleman was outa line BUT NEVER AGAIN WILL I SPEND $1 THERE!
