My boyfriend and I recently moved to CA and needed to fully furnish our new space. When we walked into Ashley on July 4th, Jimmy immediately greeted us and asked what we needed. He was SO pleasant and helpful throughout our entire shopping experience and made sure to tell us about any special sales and discounts that we should look for. I appreciated that he let us browse on our own and checked in from time to time to answer any questions we had along the way. Thanks to Jimmy, we left with a two piece sofa/love seat, an entire bedroom set including dressers, lamps and bedding, and an amazing mattress. Better yet, we saved about $7,000 in total with discounts and sales that Jimmy helped us find. Thanks so much!
I am happy with my couch but not so much with the customer service. I have been trying to contact Ashley for several weeks. they never answer their calls or return them. My couch was delivered with the incorect side to the chaise and does not fit in my living room. Its not convenient for me to go into the store its 30 minutes away. I have tried calling customer care, leaving messages, sending emails, online assistance and have not had any luck. I would appreciate if someone contact me to get this situation addressed.
I was very disappointed in the store. I found a outdoor patio set that I chose to buy. I was happy with the price. Yet after the purchase was made I had to carry the table and chair actions the store myself with the salesman. They had no help. I am disabled and wasn't prepared to have to carry my purchase across the store. Don't think I will be going back.
Extremely bad customer service. While the buying process is smooth (as would be expected when someone is trying to sell you something), the delivery process and customer service leave a lot to be desired. We bought a couple of items in-store in Natomas and were able to do a price-match a day or so after our in-store purchase. On the 6/3/2020 delivery date, 3 items were not delivered. There was no courtesy notification that the 3 items would not be delivered. We could not get hold of their customer services (kept on hold for hours or given the run around) to find out why the items were not delivered. We had to drive back to the store and got a muddled response, but were able to establish a new delivery date for the items. When the 2nd delivery happened, the dining room table was damaged. We alerted the delivery driver, who took pictures just as we also did, and were informed that he would call and let the store know. He said the store would call us right away. Big mistake on our part. We should have just refused to accept the delivery. As of 6/23/2020, it has been two weeks and no word. On the day on the delivery, we even sent an email to someone at the store, with attached pictures of the damage. They acknowledged receipt and said they had forwarded it to customer care for processed. In the intervening two weeks, we tried multiple times to call their customer service and used their online chat functionality - both to no avail. It was another run-around. Given the foregoing Covid-19 pandemic, we understand that companies can and do experience disruption to their activities. Nonetheless, customer services - especially as it relates to communication - should not be sacrificed. A simple update goes a long way. One can only infer that once the sale is closed, they really don't care. This is such a sad indictment and explains why businesses fail. This experience of the in-store purchase and a separate online purchase (I'll write a different review on that) will definitely be our last at Ashley Furniture HomeStore.
A couple years ago I had a horrible experience with a local furniture store where I wanted to buy some pieces of Ashley’s furniture. I ended up going to Ashley’s store and received great service back then. Two years later I again needed some furniture and right away I new without a doubt which store I would go to. I spoke to the sales associate Beth who listened to what I needed and was patient and took me through the store to find the pieces that I needed. She made great recommendations and really went above and beyond for her customers. Once again Ashley’s was a fantastic experience and I would recommend them to everyone I know. I also love how they can give you an approximate date and the delivery company does a great job of keeping you up to date with delivery notifications. I was a little worried that it might take awhile to receive the pieces but it was scheduled to be delivered within a couple days of ordering. Great job Ashley’s.
Do NOT purchase anything from Ashley. Their customer service is an absolute nightmare and they're so frustrating to order from. We have yet to receive a piece of furniture that is either missing a part that takes months to never to arrive or just damaged. Ashley charged us way more for some barstools that sold for half the price online. The book shelves we ordered were missing the shelves and the shelf pins. Calling customer service was horrible because we were put on hold for 6 hours. They also got some repair requests confused which forced me to make multiple calls to try and clear things up. Didn't help. The woman who helped me for one of the calls had an attitude and made it an unpleasant phone call. Just don't buy from them. Go to IKEA or anywhere else. Save your time and energy by avoiding this company.
This review is solely based on my “purchasing experience.” Devin the store manager is great and really goes the extra mile in providing exceptional customer service, he also has a great personality! My husband and I came in looking to purchase a sectional for our small apartment. Devin was very attentive and actually walked us throughout the store to show which couches can come in the size we are looking for. He was patient and was able to find the perfect couch for us. Our purchase was smooth and now we wait for our couch to arrive. Will return to write another review for that. But as far as my purchase, that went well overall.
Bought a dinning table set. Brought me dirty chairs 4 times still not fix won’t let me exchange for new one

Service is good but the delivery guys are not. They brought the broken table but I have never heard back from Ashley store. Want my money back or send me a replacement. No one answer the call.

Went in to buy a sectional. Very helpful customer service. They even price matched for me! I got the sectional i wanted. I'm satified
Love my new Ashley furniture set! I’m so excited! Jack was amazing assisting me every step of the way, he gave me space to look but was there for all my questions ! My set is so pretty I’m so excited!
