Had the weirdest experience today. Went to look at furniture, and was chased by a super annoying selling agent all around the store. This Asian guy, called Vinni, I believe, kept following me in every corner, and every area of the store I went through, to look at what I needed. My abrupt, cold answers were not enough for him to back off and allow space. This horrible experience made me walk out of the store. I should have asked for a manager, but left the store. This is not customer service. This is harassment. Horrible. Too bad because I am purchasing from another place where it feels comfortable walking around, without being followed by untrained selling agents, looking for their commission. Shame on this agent!!! I tried calling the store, after I left, 3 times to report him, and share my experience with the managing team, but they don't even answer the phone. Disappointing.

I walked in with the product I was looking for on my phone knowing exactly what I wanted the guy (Jimmy) walked far too fast leaving myself and my company trailing after him trying to keep up without slowing down. He checked one area of the show floor, asked another associate, checked one other area and said he didn't have it. I asked if he could look up the SKU number on his tablet and see if a another location had it. Without even touching his pad and with no hesitation told me no if they didn't have it nobody did cuz they had the largest showroom floor. I walked away unhappy and immediately 30 seconds later found exactly what I was looking for. He had walked away when he noticed I was dissatisfied but when he noticed I had found what I was looking for he swooped in like a hawk and spoke a thousand miles an hour rushing me into the sale and even convincing me to buy the color that I didn't want, not even allowing me a moment to consider my two options. I ultimately left unhappy and had to return later that day to change my order to the one I had wanted once I had time to think about it without him breathing down my neck. When I had returned to change my order somebody else had helped me and the same guy had walked past me several times and did not even acknowledge me or ask why I was back or if I needed help with anything. If you happen to go to the store absolutely avoid sales associate Jimmy!!!

I’m updating my review after returning to the store for help. The delivery and initial purchase were great, which is why I originally left 5 stars. However, my experience changed when I went back with an issue. We purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress with an adjustable base for over $5,000. The mattress has been sliding on the base, and when I asked for help, I was repeatedly told to buy a bed frame to fix it, which didn’t make sense since a standard frame doesn’t secure a mattress to an adjustable base. Instead of addressing the issue, I felt like I was being given incorrect information and pushed toward buying more products. The salesperson also seemed frustrated and impatient, which made the experience uncomfortable. I was also told this might be happening because my mom is small and that I should have mentioned that when purchasing. For a purchase at this price point, I would expect better guidance. I still appreciate the smooth delivery, but the lack of support afterward was disappointing. I would recommend asking clearly about return and exchange policies before buying.

I'm a normal guy that would like to buy some furniture in the morning. Open at 9am or 10 o'clock in the morning is reasonable. opening at like 11 or 12 is ridiculous. why do you open at lunch time dude? this is stupid And on top of that you guys don't sell furniture out of your store. I have to buy it there and have it shipped from Lathrop about a week later. Mattress firm and Ikea are better...

We had a very good experience ,Aneesha was GREAT,very knowledgeable,did not rush us,even helped my wife onto the beds,very compassionate.Tryed her best to help with getting my financing,ended up that the lady at the desk couldn't get my routing and account #s to show my account @Golden one credit union,for some reason.I was very disappointed that we couldn't get any financing through,I've had many loans and things financed up to 15,000 and pd off early,I have good credit.Ashley said it was because I was retired .We put down $1000.00 cash that day,to hold the price(good thing we had that much cash on us)we came back the next day (right after my wife's Dialysis Treatment,which she was not feeling well) (in the pouring down rain )because we were told we had to come back the next day and pay the total balance.We paid the $4,344. Cash.Soooo Everyone that helped us was very nice.I wanted to look for a twin mattress also,but because my wife was ill and it was pouring down raining I couldnt.

I purchased furnitures, table, bed frames, mattresses and more. I spent a lot of money, their sells agent scammed us by adding 5 years protection plans on top of the purchase which increased the amount in total. After 3 years when I need their protection to cover damage they refused to help and I request you guys not to purchase here and never go with their protection plans. Totally scam.

Amber welcomed me when I entered the showroom and made my search for an living room chair a pleasant exoerience. I told her I'd know the right chair when I saw it. She encouraged me to wander through the well-stocked store, and let her know if I found a chair I liked. While I looked around, I noticed Amber stayed at a comfortable distance from me, rather than "hovering", which I appreciated. I found the perfect little chair. Thanks, Amber!

If buying a mattress, be warned. Ensure to ask specifically about the comfort guarantee and inquire if your mattress is covered. Get it any agreements in writing. The sales staff and the customer service staff do not work collaboratively. I bought a Nectar mattress for $1999++ and it was clear that within the first week that the mattress I received, did not have the same support as what I tested in the store. At the time I purchased, I asked about if I could exchange if needed and I was reassured I could. My receipt references the comfort guarantee but does state only certain mattresses are covered. Though it does not state what I bought was not covered. The reassurance of my ability to exchange along with the appearance of the comfort guarantee in general implies coverage. I followed the guidelines, I had mattress cover, I slept on it for 30 nights and called as soon as possible only to be blown off by representatives following a script, refused to escalate me to an actual person, and then they sent a refusal of my request to exchange via email. This, along with other issues, makes me want to return the entire home of furniture I bought this past December- but all sales are final unless you refuse the order upon delivery. Again, be warned. Ashly furniture does not operate with transparency nor will they make it right for the customer, no matter how much you spend.

Jimmy Santillan excellent sales man! greeted us at the door, asked what we were looking for, walked us over to the area, and said let me know if you need anything! He let us look in peace, no hovering, came over and pointed out some features we did not see. the purchase was quick and easy! Store is clean snd bright and all staff pleasant!

We had an horrible experience at this place. The store manager is awful. We made an order close to $10000. We had a problem with two of the items on that order. One of the rugs that came in was stained and another was in the wrong size. We tried to reach out to the 1-800 number, but they were no help at all. As per the request of the sales associate from the Natomas location, we dropped off the rugs at the store. It’s been 1 month and we haven’t gotten the refund. We called and texted, to which they said they’re working on it. We still haven’t received the refund. We’ve been Ashley’s costumers for more than 20 years, and it’s safe to say, please don’t shop at this location. They will be nice to you when they’re selling, but when you try to refund/return something, they totally ignore you.

I am an easy going person but the customer service my son and I experienced at Ashley Furniture in Natomas was unacceptable. My son bought a clearance bed, a floor model. Our associate, Leon, seemed great. Promised the world to make that sale. Told my son they would take the bed frame apart and have it ready in a box the next day for pick up. We asked numerous times because it is raining and have to drive about 25 mins. He said oh yeah no problem. He said come tomorrow anytime between 10 & 2 to pick it up. We go to pick up at about 11. Wait 25 mins for the manager to look at the receipt, be extremely rude and then say pull around back they will bring it out. My son pulls around back and waits for another 25 mins and goes back inside and they are actually taking it apart then!!! He then goes back to the back and gets bothered with extreme rudeness by a security guard. Then 30 mins later they open the back pull up door and the bed is just on a cart. No box, nothing. So we ask and the warehouse gentleman says oh no we don’t put it in boxes. That gentleman was at least nice and apologetic and said up front doesn’t communicate very well with us in the back! Well my son couldn’t take it because he hadn’t brought a tarp or anything. So went back today and they just had horrible attitudes. The manager is arrogant and rude. Didn’t speak , rolled his eyes coming out of his office. We brought a tarp and loaded it in our truck. Mind you we had also bought a 5000 couch and chairs that I’m getting delivered next week. They offered the world to make the sale and then complete disappointment after they got their money!

The service was nice and the selection was great. I loved that they didn't pressure us and allowed us to wander on our own but were available to answer questions. What I didn't like is I was told a specific delivery date for our couch only to be called by distribution the day before to tell us they didn't actually have our couch and it would take an extra week to get it. That honestly would have impacted my decision and I wouldn't have made the purchase since I'm now without a couch for a week and will have to alter my work schedule to be home to receive the delivery. That part is frustrating.

Delay in bed delivery, need accurate eta when ordering at the store. Sales rep professional and not too pushy.

My experience at the Ashley Store was seamless. My home furnishing Specialist Aneesha G. provided exceptional customer service, her attentiveness throughout my shopping experience was impeccable and she worked closely with her Manager Danny to ensure all of my needs were met to the best of their abilities. My only complaint is that I would like for my couch to be delivered sooner, but they are trying to work with their delivery team to expedite my request. I plan to return for the rest f my home furnishing needs.

Be aware! The prices in the store can be MUCH HIGHER than the ones on the Ashley website. We found a sectional in the store we liked for about $1599 + $150 delivery. Went to the Ashley website to see if it had any reviews and saw it was listed for $1099 and free delivery. Looked up a few other sectionals in the store by SKU and same story. When we were ready to make the purchase, the salesperson rang it up for full price, but obviously "price matched" for me when I mentioned the Ashley website, including the free delivery. Sure, I "saved" $700, but only because I said something. Whole thing feels pretty scummy.

If I could give a negative number I would… WORST customer service ever!!! I’ve been dealing with this issue for a month now only to be advised for the 3rd time that I need to visit the store (which never answers and per customer service number they can’t even send a message to the store) so now I’m at the store and have to wait 20-30 minutes to speak with a manager so asked if the manager would call and they said NO… this has been a horrible experience and it’s sad since they do carry great products

They promised us a bed set would be delivered on or before a certain date which was very important to us because we had an elderly family member coming home from a care home on that date. We found out on the day it was supposed to be delivered that it wouldn’t arrive for another 5-7 days. This wouldn’t work for us so we called and cancelled the purchase and were told the full amount would be put back on our card in 3-4 days. After a week I called our card company and found they hadn’t actually refunded me as they said they had and the full charge was still on my card. I still haven’t been refunded. They lied to make a sale and then lied about refunding us. We won’t be shopping there again. And good luck calling and talking directly to someone in the store. All Calls go to some customer service department which I believe is in another country.

Communication was great and updated. Introduction was complete, went straight to installation and set up. Was professional and quick, appreciate the guys, quick clean up and was off to the next. Thank you guys!!

We purchased two recliners/love seat and a wall tv stand. It took us two hours to make up our mine after sitting in one after another. Our sales rep Ahmed was so good and so patient. He was great in helping us make up our mind.

They were very good to me. I went on Black Friday around 10 o'clock. They were open till midnight. The sales associate was wonderful. I forget her name but she showed me around and finally found a masculine bedroom set. I told them my credit was not that good but they found me similar to you. I went to Ashley‘s looking for a lot of different pieces of furniture as I just moved in to an apartment after selling my house. A salesman named Leon helped me. He was very personable and very helpful! He helped me find everything that I was looking for. The store had many different items to choose from. I found six different items that I was looking for. When it came time to purchase them. I said to Leon I’m buying a lot of things. Can I get a good deal on all of it? Leon said absolutely.! He went away for a couple of minutes and came back with the deal. I think he gave me a very good deal. I purchased everything and I’m looking forward to getting my new furniture! The store had a great selection, The prices were not cheap, but the furniture is good quality And the prices did not seem overpriced. Also, what I liked was that because I bought so many different items they were willing to give me a deal.. That is not something that every store would do. Leon was great and did not put any pressure on me to buy. All in all. It was a great shopping experience and I can’t wait to see all of my new furniture in my new home.

Service was fantastic. When we came in to look around, there was no pressure to make a sale. We ended up taking a few days to think about it. When we came back there was no pressure again. Derek was patient with our additional questions and even gave us a little extra discount. They won me over, I will be a repeat customer when I get to refurbishing my dining room.

The shopping experience was decent. The salesperson was trying her best but it did take quite a long time to process our order. The checkout process alone was over 30 minutes cause their system kept resetting. I had gone online to see if I could have placed it sooner and had myself at checkout in about 5 minutes. That portion would actually be a 4-star by itself. Delivery was perfect, workers were very efficient, informative and helpful. One of the couches has some deformation of the cushioning on the armrest and they helped set up a technician appointment. Delivery would be 5-Star. Customer service is a very gracious 1-star. Worker wasn’t helpful and supervisor was less than helpful. They couldn’t schedule a technician to come out within 3-days (their established “report and return window) and wouldn’t provide any written confirmation that the delay on their part would extend that window. Multiple times they said they could schedule it next day, and then said the system wouldn’t let them. Even after that, they repeated the same attempt multiple times. Both were very difficult to understand and kept putting me on hold. The biggest red flag was that when I said goodbye, they wouldn’t hang up, they said I had to terminate the call… but the system had told me earlier that if I stayed on after the call ended, I would be sent to a survey. They clearly didn’t want me to do the survey and refused to actually terminate the call on their end. Customer service for Ashley Furniture is a big fat 1-star and would give it zero if I could. Won’t go back, simply because of that.

After a long search, we found a sectional couch at Ashley Furniture we liked, and decided to make a trip out to Natomas, even though we live in Elk Grove. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed by Vinny Ly, who immediately helped us. He noticed we had 2 little boys with us and recommended a sectional right away since it could be stripped down and washed. The couch also allowed us to create our own configurations. After seeing the couch, we decided to move forward with it. Vinny made the entire process go smoothly-definitely recommend Ashley furniture.

Ashley Furniture Store is one of the stores we shop at for our dining table set. They have a good selection of dining table sets in stock and displayed very well. STAY AWAY FROM THAT STORE. They have a different attitude once you bought something from them. Totally different when step you feet inside. I wish there is a 0 star. They don’t deserve even a half star. I had the worst experience with this store. I bought a sofa on Sunday, it was in the floor, I have been told they will store it for me till Saturday. During the midweek I received a call from them, telling me that I have to pick it up before Saturday. I took a day off from work on Thursday and I rented a U-haul truck to pick up the sofa. When I got there , I found out that the sofa still on the display floor and it’s been scratched. I was trying to get an explanation about it. No one come to me or offer any apology . The only thing they said is to take it as is or cancel the transaction. The guy at front desk was very rude and disrespectful. STAY AWAY FROM THAT STORE.

The sales associate (Sean) was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable on the products the store has offer. I was very impressed especially about his knowledge on the science of sleeping and the different technologies that goes into mattress building. Last but not least, I would like to thank the store manager (Robel), down to earth guy and was very helpful as well.

My wife and I bought a couch here ~3 years ago. I’ve been meaning to write a bad review because the couch we bought wore out after one year but after 3 years and the continued break down of this crappy couch, I’m finally frustrated enough to write this. The cushions all became flat and poorly support anyone after the first year. My wife and I are not big people and we’re not even heavy couch users as we’re pretty active. This couch cost 3000 dollars and it has proven to be a horrible buy. For 3000 dollars I thought we’d get at LEAST 5 years. At ~3 years old it’s in dire need of replacement. Sitting on this for the length of a movie is deeply uncomfortable. I’ll never get ripped off here again. Edit: I followed all the directions in their follow up message. No one has reached out to me despite me emailing them twice now. I’m adding this edit to say that I was open to deleting this review but now I’m making sure everyone knows that your customer service is empty lip service as well.

Went to explore mattresses. Aneesha knows more about beds and sleep mechanics than the car guy wearing the logo shirt driving the fully custom deuce at the local cars and coffee does about cars... And she's fun to talk to. Fair range of mattresses - better experience than the mattress stores. Only thing: (expected 'cause retail) not a lot of mid-and-low range offerings that are shown on the website.

Good customer service inside of the store, but as soon as I left it faded. Half of the sectional broke during transit. They never called to give a future delivery date or a number to reach out. They put all the onus the customer to reach out. Eventually reaching out, there was a chat bot feed response without any empathy. After the fact, trying to change the delivery date, to fit my work and school schedule not at the least bit accommodating (would have had wait another month for the sectional). McDonald’s has better customer service experience than Ashley’s Furniture. Would not recommend, because of the customer service experience and waiting for empathy from multi-billion dollar company.

It was a good experience until it wasn’t. The delivery date for both the bed and the sheets was scheduled for the same day. The sheets were not in the delivery truck and the salesman ordered the wrong mattress protectors. After a bunch of back and forth, I was blamed for not seeing the wrong size was ordered! I should have noticed, not oh sorry our salesman made a mistake so let us fix that. Nope. And I had to go buy sheets to have something to sleep on that night. Then, I got a new delivery date for the sheets through my email to confirm the date and they never showed up. I stayed home from work and nothing came. They tried to tell me they told me it was coming from FedEx! Then don’t send me a email confirmation saying someone 18+ yrs or older needs to be at home to sign for it!! Sloppy sloppy customer service and I was never compensated for this mess. I will never buy anything from Ashley Furniture ever again!

I had my toddler with me and she completely just rolled with it and made the entire process completely smooth - not easy with an active toddler. Review: My sister had a horrible experience with Ashley’s Furniture in Sacramento. The sales associate in the showroom was wonderful and very helpful, but once the sectional was delivered, the customer service completely changed. When the sofa arrived, it turned out to be a completely different couch than the one she chose. She immediately called Ashley’s the same day, and the representative she spoke with was respectful, assuring her that she could get a refund or exchange for the correct sofa. That request was forwarded to management. Today, she was told there would be no refund or exchange. A female rep even told her, “You should have said something before they took it off the truck.” This was extremely unprofessional and unfair. Now my sister is stuck with a sofa she never picked out — and a large bill to go with it. It is shocking that a company as large as Ashley’s operates this way. I live in Orange County, and I will be sharing this horrible customer service experience widely so others are warned. I also noticed other reviews from this week with 1star, they are hidden at the bottom, where several customers described a similar issue — clearly this is not an isolated problem. Avoid this location if you value honesty and accountability.

After spending nearly $17,000 on a bed and a couch, the least I expected was accurate service and some accountability when things went wrong. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. The sales rep got our order wrong, and instead of making things right, Ashley Furniture has done nothing to fix their mistake unless we spend even more money. To make matters worse, the sofa we purchased is now missing the console we specifically ordered, and they offered no option to return the sofa or correct the issue without charging us again. When you spend this much money, you expect professionalism, quality, and above all, responsibility when errors happen. Instead, I feel like they simply took my money and left me with an incomplete product I no longer want. Ashley Furniture’s lack of effort to reconcile their mistake is unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone considering a large purchase here to think twice, because once they have your money, customer service and accountability go out the window. They have a no return policy. Which ultimately is shame on them, because my husband and I still have 4 other bedrooms, and a dining room to furnish, which we would have most likely continued making purchases there, since we didn’t want to drive all the way to Elk Grove to RC Willey. However, I’m happy we found out now how terrible their customer service is. This $300 mistake just cost them at least $50K in sales!

The sales staffs were helpful and the warehouse staff was friendly and provided ample cardboard to buffer our new furniture in our vehicle.

You know you’re dealing with a good salesman when you go into Ashley Furniture looking for a couch and end up leaving with a couch, a Temper-Pedic and two Icey pillows! Jimmy helped us with any and all questions throughout our browsing experience, and even though we weren’t looking for a new bed, he was knowledgeable, honest, and down to earth! He backed up his information with facts and evidence about the pros and cons of what we were interested in purchasing. Our new furniture was delivered yesterday with great communication and tracking, full installation, and clean up and we are so happy with our purchase and our shopping experience because of Jimmy! With how smooth everything went yesterday with our delivery, we decided that Ashley Furniture is the way to go from here on out. Go see Jimmy!

The loveseat, the power isn’t hooked up correctly or it’s broke the table drawers do not push in, and the couch has a big mark on it from the straps when they delivered it

This was our first time at Ashey furniture in Sacramento CA! I have to say that the quality of professionalism and the knowledge of their furniture they sell exceded our expectation! My husband and I went to the store to by an Ottoman. The male sales person was of some Arabic / mittle eastern descent. He totally ignored me as a women and only reacted when my husband answered a question although I already answered it. He also gave us no explanation on the product e.i. that it comes in different sizes and so on. All he wanted to do is a sale at all coasts. If he wants to be a sales person in this country he better get used to involving women in the sales process or he want get far in his career. Very rude.

Shop at your own risk. Before spending a dime at Ashley Furniture, I strongly urge you to check their Better Business Bureau rating and read through the countless complaints from frustrated customers just like me. Critical warning: DO NOT sign for your furniture delivery if anything is missing or damaged—no matter what the delivery team tells you. Once you sign, you’re stuck. They’ll promise to follow up or send the missing parts, but those promises are rarely kept. Insist they take the furniture back. It may be inconvenient, but it’s the only leverage you’ll have left. Ashley Furniture’s no return policy for in-store purchases makes absolutely no sense and leaves customers completely trapped when problems arise. They routinely deliver incomplete furniture, pressure you into signing off, and then disappear the moment you need help. Calling for assistance is a joke. You’ll be told someone will call you back—they never do. After repeated requests to speak with a manager or owner, no one has contacted me. Here’s what happened to me: I purchased a bedroom set that was delivered on 6/19/25 with missing parts. For over 10 days, a portion of the furniture has just sat in the corner of my room, unusable. No updates. No communication. No resolution. The missing part is supposedly sitting in their Lathrop warehouse—I live in Sacramento. It shouldn’t take this long to complete a local delivery. If anyone in management or ownership actually cared, someone could’ve driven the part here in a day. As of today, 7/5/25, I still haven’t received it. But they’ve had my money since day one. There is zero accountability from Ashley Furniture. No follow-up. No urgency. No respect for the customer. Once they have your cash, you’re on your own. Learn from my mistake. Save yourself the time, stress, and frustration—go ANYWHERE else. Update: as of 9/3/25, we still have not received a call from a manager/owner or anyone who cares about customer service or making this “right”. AND, we still have not received a complete bedroom set we purchased back in June 2025.

I had a wonderful experience in the Natomas Ashley Store yesterday. I went in to look for a bed frame and came out with maybe the best investment for my physical health. I was not in the market for a tempur-pedic but the sales rep Aneesha was the best. I explained my needs and she showed me around the floor when I needed help. She was knowledgeable on products and went above and beyond to get me where I needed. It didn’t feel pushy or sales pitchy by any means. Aneesha came to the table knowledgeable and supportive. She provided the type of experience you want when furniture shopping. She gave me space when I needed it, checked in periodically, answered my questions and sought support when she didn’t have the answers and made sure I walked away with the best deal. I would absolutely return just because I had a positive customer service experience. And I say all of this because I went to another big names store the day before and not one person helped me. Good customer service can take a basic purchase and turn it into an extraordinary one. So thank you Aneesha for doing just that.

The first photo is of the in store model we looked at for an hour before deciding to spend the money on this set. It was more than we wanted to spend, but we decided we would have it a long time, and it was worth it. The table they sent had 8 large and deep scratches in it. I called, they told me they would send me a new table 4 days later. When their person arrived, it was a technician with no table, who told me this was normal. I told him this is nothing like the one in the store. I called every one I could within the Ashley company with the same result. They told me that this is normal, but every photo they sent me of their other tables and adds looked nothing like mine. So now I've spent over $2k for this set, and every time the light catches these very deep gashes and scratches, I'm reminded of how I got swindled at this store. I did not buy an "as is table". They completely showed me and sold me one thing, and provided me another. This is a nightmare.

They sent the old furniture where we ordered a brand new in natomas. That's snakiness. Worthless people and now wasting time over the phone. Their manager was too egoistic and arrogant to talk as well when i went to their store.

Received a broken couch. They said they would come out on a certain day and showed up 3 days early. Cant talk to anyone at the store when you call. The call center is horrible, they say they cant help me. Spent 4500 on couch that is damaged. Store manager said they would send a new one out over 2 weeks ago. Looks like time to file a lawsuit and definitely complain to Sacramento BBB. Horrible i mean horrible customer service. Now im stuck.

I was sold a fraudulent set, I picked out a sectional in the store (Natomas) that had specific feathering casing around cushions and that’s not what I got not to mention the couch smells horrible like chemicals and I’ve had it about six weeks now. Everyone that comes in my house can smell the chemicals, can’t even sit on the couch the smell is horrible. So I’ve been sold a lie, but yet they have it on display. They came to switch out the set with the exact same set still not what I purchased. They’re very dismissive and hard to work with, you would think since they sold me something fraudulently they would be willing to take the sofa set back as I asked, but they’re not they keep dismissing any contact or never return calls. So beware when you’re in the store examine what you’re purchasing they leave me no choice but to file complaints with Better Business Bureau , consumer affairs and get legal advice since they will not take the set back. My daughter purchase the same set, not knowing she wasn’t getting what on display a year ago so they’re been selling this fraudulently for over a year now. They should not be able to sell customers items on display and then not deliver what they’re displaying/selling. Buyer be aware!

My husband and I just bought our first home and were needing some new furniture. We had just been to Living Spaces and another Ashley furniture. They were fine but felt a little intimidating and we were constantly approached when all we wanted was a little space to figure out what we really wanted. We went to the Sacramento Ashley location last on our way home for one last look. Walking in we both loved the way the store felt and looked. This is a beautiful location. Jimmy S. approached us but also gave us space to look. He answered my husbands questions without any extra fluff. He was straight to the point but then gave us plenty of space to discuss. My husband and I really appreciate that and he made the experience so much more enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable/helpful. We HIGHLY recommend requesting him if you’re looking for some new furniture. Great guy!

My sofa was delivered today. Started off a little shaky, but Alicia from Lathrop, took care of me. Had my sofa here and set up. Thanks to the guys who did all the lifting!! But, when I called the store here in Sacramento to ask why I was told to pick up my ottoman myself from Lathrop. The girl who answered the phone was rude, and snarky towards me. Asked how I paid for my furniture, which to me makes no sense. Outright by the way. If she could see my account, then she could have looked. Her attitude was unnecessary, especially since your store is the one who messed up my delivery in the first place. Whomever she was needs to be retrained on how to ‘help’ people and not belittle them, or make them feel uncomfortable.

Walked in on a Saturday. Not a lot of customers so we were helped pretty quickly. Sajid was very helpful in finding us some items. One of the items we purchased did not have a floor model so when we got home and actually did some measuring, we realized it would not work so we went back on Sunday and he was able to swap it out for something more in line with our needs without disrupting the delivery schedule. Very smooth service.

Sean was and Ann are exceptional sales people who were professional, kind, informative, and Not overbearing. They showed a genuine concern for answering your questions. Sean's personality and his knowledge about hybrid bed is what brought me back to purchase several items. Ann on my second visit, was a sweetheart, equally as genuine with her quiet demeanor entergrated with her professionalism. Both sales people were compassionate towards this customers satisfaction with providing information.

The sales rep lied to my wife and I about the availability and delivery date. Then Kim at customer service was not helpful at all… her idea of customer service was to return all the items so I would no longer be a customer. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

The bed I received from Ashley furniture is wobbly and yet the technician refuses to state that it’s defective. The people working at the customer service call center in the Philippines are not authorized to exchange the headboard. In summary…My headboard makes a creeking noise after a technician came to service the bed to see why the headboard was wobbly . After paying $3000 for a bed set, I have not only a wobbly and creeking headboard, I am not able to sleep on this bed. I would not advise anyone to shop here for furniture or poor quality and expensive in price.

Hello. I hope you remember me. We ordered a bed, a sale manager told me, I will call you tmr and maybe we can deliver early. He didn’t call and operators didn’t give me opportunity. Ok, after 3 weeks they forgot about a part of bed , and rescheduled again. Your operators are very unprofessional. And didn’t know customer service. I still didn’t see the bed. Maybe I will complain more. Update. They rescheduled after 3 weeks, because they don’t have a spring box . We rescheduled and after 1 month they delivered without spring box. ( they confirmed 5 weeks wanna reschedule because we can delivered everything only 5 April ). Your operators don’t know English and only know “I am so sorry “.

The sales lady was so nice and got my couch and loveseat ordered up very quickly. My only complaint was that i am being charged 200.00 to have it shipped from their warehouse, that is only 50 miles away. I even asked if they could just ship it to one of their stores and i would gladly pick them up myself, but they said that wasn't possible. Other than that, great experience.

I bought my couch last May and needed to have a cushion replaced by July because it was so worn down. I received terrible customer service and had to fight for weeks to get a new cushion. The couch now looks like it's 10 years old, not less than a year. Terrible quality and terrible customer service.

Saw a coffee table on sale for $299, it can fit in my SUV. Per Ashley policy- it has to be delivered for $99. I'm not spending 1/3 of the price of one item for forced delivery policy. Option to watch if it goes on clearance, then you can take home, BUT, per Ashley policy, you can't buy just the coffee table, have to buy 3 pc set. So who exactly is the customer? Too many other furniture stores, I'll never go to Ashley again

Went to the store and was met by a sales person who asked if I needed help. I said I was here to see what they have. He left me alone but checked back from time to time to see if I had any questions. I really appreciated that. I came back the next day having decided mostly what I wanted. I got great help not only with the various pieces of furniture but also with some possible decorating ideas. Choices for how to pay including no interest for 12 months was carefully explained. This was one of the easiest transactions I've even done. And I am going to LOVE the look when everything arrives.

We went in to purchase a new sofa set . The Sacramento location is under renovations.(not that changed anything) When i walked in I was greated by Jimmy S. He asked if I had a flyer, the flyer which we forgot to bring with us, 60 years no interest. I told Jimmy we forgot to bring it with us. Jimmy replied, no problem. Once I told him what we were looking for, Jimmy led us to the sofa recliner area. We knew we wanted a sofa recliner but we wanted a change from the sectional sofa. We found so many to chose from, fabric, leather, another fabric which I forgot the name, sectional recliner and sofa & -love seat recliners. We finally found what we wanted, a style which(I) was not even on our list not that we had a list. We decided to go with 2 sofas recliners it was priced the same as love seat option and included the recline chair(I like to think of them as daddy recliner) We needed a coffee table and end table. A few of the sets were were interested in were discontinued. The 3rd set was also discontinued but they offered it to usv floor model at clearance price(as is ) . Overall , the trip to Ashley Furniture in Sacramento was a huge success. Thank you, Jimmy!!

Tanya was SO great to work with while we shopped for two bedroom sets!! She listened to what we told her and suggested some beautiful pieces, which were perfect for our new home!

Although I wasn’t greeted and nobody really seemed eager to help me for my first 15 minutes of me walking around the showroom. I was able to walk past a group more interested in their own conversation than helping customers or selling. Once I was able to pull someone away for conversation the buying process was fairly straight forward and easy. I still bought a couch, but that was due to really wanting the product. The other positive was delivery time was under a week which I saw as a plus.

I was looking for a reclining sofa and love seat and found the PERFECT set. Shopping experience was fantastic. Spoke to a salesman when I arrived. They allowed me to look without hovering. Only approached when I had spent a considerable amount of time with a certain set. Helped by showing me all the features. And then walked away. Let me dicuss with my friend before I made my decision. Of course I bought!

This man that worked there was very unprofessional. He got VERY VISIBLY upset when we had asked a woman to help us with ordering our couch and she was very sweet and she was very nice. He got mad at her and was telling her "this is mine" as in our order he felt like he should have taken us but he was busy with other customers. When she said that she had already taken our info and made the order he got mad and his face turned red. I felt bad but also he shouldn't have acted in that manner not only to a customer but also to a coworker. Very crazy experience but other than that everything went smoothly the management apologized on that man's behalf. Can't wait for my new couch thank you!!!

One of best store in USA

Found a great price on a recliner. Though had to search for someone to help. While I don’t like to be hounded by sales people not a single person approached me during the 20 min i walked around. Not even a greeting of welcome. When i did find someone to answer my questions it kind felt as tho i was inconveniencing them. But I was able to find what i was looking for at a good price.

Friendly employees and quick service

Hi, the first delivery team tried to deliver a damaged dresser and tried to convince my wife to keep it which is unacceptable. We Ended up refusing it and a got a replacement 10 days after. No compensation was offered to us for loosing a day of work and for all the hassle. Not happy.

Apparently Ashley's doesn't need sales! Drove all the way across town for two recliners and a coffee table. I went through the entire store and NOBODY even said hello. People sitting at the desk, salesmen on the floor, not one word. 2 other people looking around, empty parking lot. I bought a dining set from the Roseville one, oh well.

The sales associate who helped me was phenomenal. Ann had helped out my wife and I furnish our home office for our new house. However, after-sales customer service is non-existent and very non-empathetic. One would imagine that people who worked in customer service would be better suited in empathizing with customer frustrations, but they have no ability to realize the compounding inconveniences that a customer deals with during delivery and after-delivery of the furniture specially if things didn’t go smooth. I was going to furnish our nursery room through Ashley Online, but after going through their after sales customer service experience, I would advice against people buying here. I’m putting 2 stars mainly because Ann was helpful. This would have been 1 star if I was to rate strictly because of their customer service.

Stay away from Ashley!!Careful! I was left with only a part of an L shaped sectional because the other part came damaged and they did not have it in stock and now they don’t want to take back the part they left. They don’t want to give me my money back even though the item is defective!

Absolutely the worse customer service I’ve ever encountered!! can’t ever reach the store, and they transfer you to the Philippines.. I bought a recliner there .. First they didn’t deliver or call when they said.. Then they delivered the wrong color chair. I’m still trying to get a hold of someone to rectify the problem.. It in the Philippine loop!! Ugh!! I guess I’m going to have to go in person and believe me it’s going to be ugly when I do!!!

This review is by invite. The delivery drivers stomped into our house and steamrolled over us until we kicked them out. We simply wanted them to enter through the back door, a direct path to where the furniture would go. They pointed out every flaw previously on our walls after dragging our new recliner across our new front door. I would not recommend this to a friend.

The furniture is great. I did feel like the sales person was slightly dishonest. I walked in to purchase something I saw online and he said they didn’t have anything on the floor that inexpensive. Four minutes later I walked by the couch.

I have bought furniture here numerous time but never had a problem but this last living room furniture I bought was very low quality, I have been trying to return it for almost four months and they keep giving me the run around, I am very disappointed , I can not believe they are so disorganized.

The sales associate, Carmen, was super helpful and looked up the prices and optional combinations for the sofas, coffee table, and tv stands. She wasn’t pushy, was nice, and personable. She was able to get us all the possible discounts also. We ended up getting 2 recliner sofas and a coffee table.

Wanted to buy a cabinet. Came with my boyfriend since we are furnishing our new apartment. Just bought one from Walmart earlier today and wanted to also try Ashley’s since their designs look classy. Customer service greeted us but asked if we are over 21 and asked for IDs but “jokingly.” Then asked if we had anything to look for. Told them we wanted to buy cabinets. They said that they sell anything but cabinets, which isn’t true? There was a cabinet right behind the service desk and several around the store. We also searched up cabinets near us and Ashley’s furniture showed up which is why we came. Also, couple google reviews stating that people bought cabinets and within the past couple months. He referred us to Home Depot instead. Don’t know if it’s just because we look like teenagers but we are in our mid 20s wanting to furnish our new apartment. Also, had a snack in our hand while coming in. If it’s about the food, next time just say no food or drinks allowed and we’ll just finish it outside before coming back in. We came in with a purpose though and not to “stroll around.” I was confused at first because a furniture store should sell cabinets, but my boyfriend told me they clearly hinted at not wanting us in the store due to us looking like “kids” or carrying a snack. I had more faith and didn’t want to think that was true. However, as more time passed, I believe we were treated that way because of that.

I came here after viewing the website. The prices looked too good to be true and thought that I needed to see it in person. The website honestly doesn’t do the store justice. Tons of inventory of all different price points and styles. There’s something for everyone here. The store is clean and the staff are helpful and not pushy. Shout out to Sean McHenry for such a positive shopping experience! Wanted to mention that I paid less for delivery and assembly than what I l’ve paid at both IKEA and Wayfair. I was able to choose the delivery day at the store at the time of my purchase and was also kept in the loop in delivery day via their app. The furniture arrives mostly assembled so it took the assemblers 2 minutes to attach the remaining pieces. Ashley Furniture needs better marketing because I would have bought all my furniture here years ago had I known that they had quality competitively priced products with amazing assembly and delivery.

Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had at this natomas store. My partner and I bought an entire bed set that cost almost $10,000. The sales rep Carmen got our order wrong and sent us the wrong furniture, then failed to properly follow up. We were charged almost $600 more for the correct furniture pieces and we had to call to get a delivery date and figure out what was going on. We found out no new order was placed. When we spoke to one of the managers “Ouse” he was incredibly rude. I was shocked at the way we were treated when the mistake was theirs. There was zero effort to make things right or even apologize for the inconvenience from both Carmen and the manager “Ouse”. I’m so offended by this behavior I’m about to return the entire set and get my money back. I will be contacting other sources and will also leave other reviews for this negligence and terrible experience.

I used to really like Ashley, and most of the furniture in my new home was bought from their offline stores. The sales were very enthusiastic, and everything went smoothly. However, all of that positive impression ended when I had a problem with the Accent Cabinet I purchased online. The hinges on the Accent Cabinet had a design flaw, and within a few uses, half of the hinges were broken. I repeatedly contacted Ashley customer service, and the process was quite troublesome, involving over a dozen emails back and forth. Customer service promised to send a technician for repair. Incredibly, they arranged for a technician to visit three times, but each time I waited an entire day with no one showing up or even calling me. The response from customer service was that the technician couldn't reach me by phone. Absurdly, I had no missed calls on my phone, and I even provided my number to customer service again, but the technician never arrived. This happened three times, with the same excuse each time. I no longer have the patience to continue communicating with customer service. Additionally, the three-star rating I left on Ashley website was not displayed; instead, the product page shows two five-star reviews.

I walked in today with my fiancée and we were greeted by Ahmed, a nice employee who gave us a quick breakdown of what to look for. He checked in a couple times but wasn’t pressuring us as we browsed the store. We found ourselves in the clearance section where we found a fantastic deal we were going to jump on but there was also a tag attached mentioning 25% off - which caught our interest. An Asian gentleman was hovering around us trying to sell us on the set we were genuinely interested in but when I asked about the 25% off, he and a coworker shared a condescending laugh and said they wouldnt be able to keep the lights on if they were to give that discount. We also have a dog who occasionally goes on the sofa so we wash our own sofa covers at home but the Asian gentleman was insisting we shouldn’t be doing that. He claimed no sofa covers in the store should be washed. That then turned us both off to even purchasing anything but the guy kept hovering trying to sell us on it saying it’s a great deal - which it was, but he only helped in us losing interest in purchasing.

They keep skipping me for delivery after spending 8k here at this store. Was suppose to be delivered over a week ago. Don’t shop here. Very bad experience.

Your warranty is a rip off. Your finance bank, Synchrony, is a rip off. You permanently lost my business. Especially because of your bad partnership with Synchrony. I paid the min. required to pay off by the end of the promo, they said I didn't pay the balance by the end of the promo and I was charged interest for the full term from day one. Their min. payment due was off and somehow that's my fault. I will never shop at a store, even if I have the cash for the purchase, that uses Synchrony Bank.

This Ashley Store is a scam. I bought $10,000 worth of furniture that is broken, peeling 'leather'. I was naive and believed their sales tactics. They forced me into buying it by making me feel bad that if I cancel my order he will get fired, I should have gone with my instinct. He would text me nonstop to make sure I do not cancel my order; I should have seen that as a red flag. Thank God I kept the screenshots. I try calling the store and the manager is not in the office, "in a meeting", etc. I live an hour away. I literally cannot believe how unprofessional the employees are here. I will be filing a small claims court against them since they do not want to speak about a resolution. I have screenshots of every time I called, who I spoke to, and also the excuse of why the manager is not in. I gave them so many chances to help their customer resolve the issue, but it does not seem like they care. Their employees harassing their customers to buy the furniture or else they will get fired is so insane to me. I will make sure I use that to my advantage because that is no unprofessional. See you in court. :)

This is a great store with tons of floor models. Ahmed was super helpful and easy to work with.

I bought bedroom furniture on July 21, sellers representatives said that delivery will be on July 27 in the morning. They wrote this date on my invoice. I waited until 2 pm this day , after called them . They transferred my call to different persons couple times and finished my call without solving my issue. After they call back and explained that sometimes delay happens, and they don’t have furniture available now and my bed furniture will deliver in one month the end of August . I sold already my old mattress and bed. They not informed me about late delivery. Sales representative blame each other but not solve any issues that was only by their mistakes. They charged for delivery $399 - very expensive but can’t do their job normally.

If I could give -0 I would, I purchased a picture and the store did not have change so instead of them taking off the cents they rounded up to nearest dollar. Wow and staff did not help me carry large wall art. Will never shop here again. Poor service

My experience when I recently visited Ashley furniture in Natomas. Tania WIllis was my sales rep she was great in the begging. I went in and ordered the Lanford bed i sat on the actual bed and measured as well as took the bedding off to see the platform and inspected if this was the right fit for me. Tania seen and placed the order. She failed to mention it was the incorrect on which is the panel bed. The next day Sunday 7/7 i called the ware house to schedule my appointment to pick up my items they gave me a date for Tuesday 7/9 at 1:30pm. on Tuesday i received a text message which is below in the photos states that it was out for delivery i was confused as i was to pick it up so i called the number and they confirmed it was out for delivery. at 1:45 i get a call from the ware house and said i missed my pick-up appointment i said i was told it was out for delivery between 5-6 pm they then said it was a system error. But i called they confirmed so i am confused. I then had to go have it picked up before 4:30 rearranging all my plans once again mind you i took time off work for this. i get home after picking up the furniture and proceeded to attempt to build it on weds 7/10 its incorrect i noticed it was the panel bed not what i wanted. I then proceed to call the ware house they said it was the correct items i needed to reach out to the store so then i call no one answers after 4 phone calls. so i drove over to the store again i arrived and i see Tania her response was oh you were my client as there was another woman at the counter to see her i said no the furniture you ordered foe me is incorrect. she did not seem to care was more interested in assisting the customer that came to see her i also called in advance with no return call. i get passed to customer service a lady behind the desk who also was un wiling to assist me in calling the warehouse and wanted to argue with me i said look i called your ware house to verify they have it in stock i explained to them my situation she said i have it and can pull it for you to pick up today i explained that to the store they said the cannot speak to them as they have to have a sales ticket and it takes two days. i explained i have this all figured out for you., i was willing to repurchase the bed and wait for my refund until we figure this situation out as the store manager mustafa or whatever his name is came back on Saturday so they gave me a tall skinny clean gut guy key holder who had his own made business card with aw i asked for everyone's business cards his response was we do not have any as were cutting costs. Your telling me your beautiful store cannot afford a business card... wow. So, then i proceeded on how will you assist me in getting my furniture correct. he said free delivery there is not much i can do because you didn't purchase a whole set only the bed frame. i don't want delivery ill pick it up myself. he also said what do you want me to do fire her meaning Tania the sales member who assisted me and wrote it incorrectly i get we all make mistakes but wow that's not something you should say to a customer. i was told they are making a case and would take 72 hours for a response i then proceeded to ask will i get an email they said i would get a call so i then asked can i a reference or case number. she had not even made the case yet she said how do i do this to the key holder so if i did not ask i would have had to wait longer. It’s now 7/12 and still no response the store is still not answering the phone it’s almost impossible to get in touch with any one from this store. I called customer service they told me the case had been transferred to the correct department and I’ll have a resolution or answer in 72 hours. excuse me this is not my fault i have waited for long enough already and missed work as well all i want is what i paid for mind you i paid in cash for it to. My whole house is Ashley furniture but after this i do not think i will go back they have gone way downhill with the service here. please see my photos of everything.

Delivery got postponed by a week without any sort of notification from the store after I already scheduled my old couches to get picked up. Now I have no where to sit for an entire week! If they even deliver at all. Will not be purchasing again from this store

I wouldn't buy a hairpin from this place. Horrible customer service. Delivered the wrong size mattress the first time. The second delivery the mattress was defective. After 2 months still waiting for the mattress. I wouldn't give them any stars.

Our previous furniture was an Ashley furniture brand from an local furniture store. We had them for a good 8 years in fair condition used. Only reason for an upgrade was we had our newborn recently and would like new beginning -( including remodeling the living room space before going back to work). I want a sectional chaise sofa where we can spend mommy and baby time or just family time lounging that's where I found the perfect match at Ashley' furniture in Natomas. Kiki the Trusted Advisor greeted us when we walked in had a friendly conversation as to what we are here for. Note* Kiki asked the right and specific questions to narrow her recommendation for us which I appreciate Kiki for not wasting our time or trying to make a sale. She took her time and always gave us space as well. With Kiki's expertise, she showed us some options and we found the one. I asked her opinions on home decor and setting the sectional at home since my hubby isn't good help lol she advised and helped me vision how my set up would look like based on the description of my living space. I appreciate the talk almost like I'm talking to my sister for her opinions that's how comfortable Kiki communication with guests. We're glad we purchased there and even more gratitude for the exceptional customer service both Kiki and the Manager Musab for accommodating my last minute request without charging me. When I made the purchase I had opted out the no hassle delivery and went for the doorstep option for cheaper. The next day I texted Kiki (she gave me her business card for questions or concerns) to make a change of plans for no hassle delivery because with the newborn I don't think we will be able to setup the sectional by ourselves so we agree with our experience with Ashley brand we have it to the expert to do their job. Manager Musab approved the change and also didn't charge us which took me by surprise. Me working in the customer service industry, I am impressed with experience. What a great experience. Malcom gave us space to look around, was present when we needed him and knowledgable when I had a billion questions. Then came Sam who was kind and it’s clear he takes care of all of his customers. He has pride in his store and was willing to negotiate a deal with me on the items I wanted. I’ve been a long time customer of Ashley and I’ll continue to come back and time again.

Went here for couch shopping. Once I entered I told the employee what I was looking for and my max budget. They gave me a look that was kind of like "really that's your max" and proceeded to tell me the cheapest sectional would be over my budget ($2,000) so, I already felt a little uncomfortable. When I was looking through the store I felt like I was being watched and hawked down the entire time. I could not process a single thought or opinion on the furniture without an employee to come up to me and ask me if I want to buy it. There was one moment where I considered hiding in the bathroom because they were right outside the door waiting for me. I know it's not their fault as the employees get paid on commission but, I would like a little more freedom with my shopping. Really nice couches though but, I am not in the right tax bracket.

I’ve been a customer with Ashley for years, never ever ,have I experienced the service that I received when I walked into the Ashley store in Sacramento. I go to use some store credit that I received from a purchase that my boyfriend made. The guy was not very helpful. He was even rude. Made me feel uncomfortable and he act like I couldn’t use the store credit/gift cards. After my boyfriend had made a $13,000 purchase in the store! Other Ashley stores that I’ve shopped at I’ve always felt welcomed, but not at this location. I went in a second time along with my boyfriend, and they still acted kind of funny about us using the gift cards again after he had made such a large purchase. I was eventually able to use two of the gift cards, but I felt like I still had to pull it out of them. I definitely will be going to another location and especially I’m someone that always shops at Ashley frequently. With me being a therapist/life coach, I understand that there is definitely neat for improvement in his handling with customers. But I’m still disappointed

Absolutely terrible. Sent me a broken table and making the replacement process impossible. Good luck if you need to call the store. They do not answer their phone. I have tried calling literally 50 or 60 times on different days. Not sure why they bother with a phone line. The sales rep that gave me her direct line also does not return my calls. Corporate support is useless and says they will "email the store on my behalf" but cannot do anything. I expected a lot more from this company with regards to customer service.

I came in on a whim, and considering I didn't have a positive experience at another Ashley store in Santa Clarita, I wasn't expecting much. However, the Sacramento staff is sooo helpful, and I ended up working with an associate (Vinny) who has great taste and got the aesthetic I was going for; he gave amazing feedback on things I wouldn't even have thought of regarding decor. Highly recommend the Ashley Store in Sac, and especially Vinny Ly :)

Kiki helped us find the perfect bedframe. It's gorgeous and exactly the type we were looking for and delivered at the perfect time for us.

Derek is one lf the best sellers, his attention and collaboration during my visit was excelent, and that helped me to choose the best option. He even gave me advises for interior design.

My husband and I went to this location and we were beyond offended and disappointed.The employees here were aggressive and rude. We were offended at the fact that, we are a young couple and the one man at the front entrance didn’t take us serious and basically told us we are wasting our time. We ignored him and continued. Another gentleman kept trying to make us buy furniture and he was following us around. We notice everyone else were left alone while shopping no employees were forcing them to buy furniture. I don’t know if it was because our age and they thought they could get away with making us stupid but it was a very offensive and disappointing will not be returning to this location ever again.

I loved the customer service that I received when I visited the Natomas location. I was looking for Bunk Beds for my daughter. I found the right one. The products look well made. Derek Martinez was awesome. He greeted me at the door. I wanted a rug for my daughter's room. They didn't have any in stock. So, they offered me the store display for a discount. Which I was able to take with me. If he is there ask for him. He'll ask you what You're looking for and he'll show you what they offer. I leave out of town so my delivery will take place when I come back in town.

Walked into Ashley Natomas and was out 45 minutes later with the mattress of my dreams for 1/3 of its list price. Excellent no nonsense transaction with super friendly staff including my salesman Vinny. It doesn’t get any better than that.
