I had a very disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture. The staff was unprofessional and dishonest throughout the process, and I did not feel treated with respect or transparency as a customer. Prices and policies were not clearly explained, and what I was told in person did not match what actually happened later. I’ve also seen multiple reports and complaints online about this company related to pricing practices, which raises serious concerns about how customers are treated. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone looking for honest service or professionalism.

My husband and I went to Ashley Furniture to purchase two sofas, expecting a straightforward and honest buying experience. Instead, we were completely taken advantage of with inflated prices and unexplained extra charges added to our total. When our son showed up and questioned the staff about these additional charges, they avoided giving clear answers and became dismissive. The situation only got worse when the store manager, James, got involved. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. He literally told us that we don’t know how math works, which was insulting and completely unprofessional. Rather than explaining the pricing, they chose to ignore our concerns and talk down to us. It was very clear that they assumed we wouldn’t notice or question the numbers. This experience made it obvious that this store is willing to take advantage of older customers. We left feeling disrespected and taken advantage of. I would strongly warn others to double-check every charge and be cautious when dealing with this location, especially if you’re an older customer. We will not be returning.

0 Stars I would give zero stars if that were an option. My experience at Ashley Furniture was terrible, mainly because of the store manager, James. The pricing felt like straight-up price gouging, with numbers changing and no clear or honest explanation. Instead of trying to help or work with customers, James came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Customer service was extremely poor. As a manager, he should know how to treat customers with respect, but that was clearly not the case here. I left feeling frustrated, misled, and completely unvalued as a customer. I do not recommend this location to anyone. There are plenty of other furniture stores that are transparent with pricing and actually care about how they treat their customers.

I had a very disappointing experience at Ashley Furniture, mainly because of James, the store manager. His attitude toward customers is completely unacceptable. Instead of being helpful or respectful, he came off as dismissive and rude, making the entire visit uncomfortable. On top of that, there was constant pressure to purchase their protection plans. It felt less like customer service and more like being pushed into unnecessary add-ons. When I declined, the attitude changed immediately. To make matters worse, the pricing felt misleading and overcharged compared to what was initially discussed. There was no transparency, and concerns were brushed off instead of addressed professionally. A furniture store should value its customers, not pressure them or treat them poorly. Because of this experience, I will not be returning and do not recommend this location—especially if James is managing the store.

Zero Stars (if that were possible) I had a terrible experience at Ashley Home Furniture, and it was largely due to James, the store manager. During my purchase, there was a $500 issue that should never have happened in the first place. From my perspective, it felt like I was being improperly charged and only got addressed once I confronted it. What made the situation worse was James’s attitude. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to resolve the issue professionally, he seemed unbothered and almost amused when I called him out about the $500 problem. That lack of accountability and professionalism is unacceptable, especially from a store manager. Customers should not have to double-check transactions or argue to get their money handled correctly. This experience left me with zero trust in this location and its management. I would not recommend this Ashley Home Furniture store to anyone looking for honest service or respectful customer treatment.

We needed a new couch and were searching online initially to get some ideas. Landed at Ashely furniture and so glad we did. Mindie took great care of us there and helped us finalize our decision which ended up being perfect in our living room. An added bonus was the live delivery tracker they provide via text or email which alerted us to an exact delivery time. Overall a great experience and we will be a repeat customer.

We recently purchased a bed and two nightstands, the nightstands never arrived. After hours talking to customer service, I was reassured that only by going into the local branch could I get a refund. So we came to the Miramar store. Never in my life have I received such despicable, unprofessional, horrific service. The manager was rude and condescending, not to mention arrogant and unprofessional. Needless to say, my issue was not resolved. Spend your money elsewhere, where you’ll be treated better with respectable customer service

This purchase has turned into a major regrettable experience. Paying nearly $400 for “white glove” delivery was a complete waste—it was anything but white glove. The furniture delivery was chaotic and failed to follow basic instructions. To make matters worse, the furniture arrived without handles and had string used instead. Since then, Ashley has repeatedly hung up on me when I try to get help, and their AI chatbot, Jenny, is completely useless. Save yourself the frustration and heartache—Ashley is not worth it.
