I bought power recliner, when I got home I plugged in into power outlet but the recliner is not working, I called the store manager he said I need a new power cable he is going to order a new one for me but I’m still waiting I call him every day but no response from customer service, I’m stuck with a recliner is not working, I’m so sad and frustrating with Ashley furniture

We worked with Marie and the store manager during our visits. Both were so helpful in trying to finalize what configuration we wanted for our new couch as well as what mattress would best suit our needs. Very friendly, and genuinely cared about or questions/potential concerns and need to come back a different day once we had time to get measurements and decide what we wanted to do. I cannot recommend her (or their manager) enough. We will continue choosing to go to Ashley for our furniture needs!

Horrible online customer service; I have been waiting over a month for a small part replacement and being told by a contractor that I may need to wait for two more months. Now, requesting a return and a refund. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Disappointing Experience. The lack of customer service was glaring. It took far too long to be acknowledged, and there was no greeting or sense of welcome upon arrival. The bias in the way customers are treated was noticeable and left a bad impression. In comparison, shopping at Living Spaces has always been a much better experience. I strongly recommend that management invest in proper training for their associates to improve customer interactions and overall performance.

Lousy service, they don't want to sell, it's Black Friday!! I was specifically coming for a furniture piece and came from far away, they told me they couldn't sell me anything, because that area was “closed”. I was ready to take the item home, but the manager didn't even want to give us a minute of his time. This was my second visit here, the first time a sales woman didn’t even want to make eye contact with us, I guess we weren’t dressed nice enough for her. Never coming back to this Ashley store, I recommend you go somewhere else.

We purchased a large sectional and an ottoman. Jimmy was extremely helpful and friendly. He managed to find some non-published discounts and worked with us to find an ideal delivery date.

Marie helped us purchase our Tempur-Pedic bed and a few other pieces of furniture. She was very patient and knowledgeable. Buying furniture is usually a bit of a hassle but she was very accommodating and made everything very simple. She's the person to work with when shopping at Ashley's for sure!

Excellent service! I just left the store having purchased a beautiful sofa and chair as well as a few throw blankets and I must say the customer service was astounding. The manager Steve was very helpful and secured us a VERY generous discount and an employee named Tony was just as informative helping us from the very beginning and answering all our questions! If you're looking for great prices and even better customer service look no further than Ashley.

Just run away from this store. This place is a scam! They will push you to buy without telling anything about their no-return policy (Momo was my sales rep) even if you're returning the next day. Even worse - the lady at the store just hangs up my phone call when I am still explaining about the concerns. Never seen anything like this before! Not going to allow any one I knew to go here.

The experience dealing with this store/company has been abysmal. We purchased a multi-piece sectional on 11/10 and told it would be delivered on 11/19. We removed our old couches to prepare, and on 11/18 were informed of a delay due to “backordering”, pushing the delivery to 11/27 instead. Shouldn’t they have been able to see that it was backordered originally? After much hassle of speaking to a human being we were able to get the delivery moved up to 11/21, after the pieces came in to a warehouse. Delivery was fine but immediately, like IMMEDIATELY we saw that a piece was broken (picture here). Attempting to get that resolved is its own hassle, as it’s impossible to get hold of anyone who can actually assist. TBD on when they’ll be able to replace this very broken piece. So much unnecessary stress right before hosting for the holiday - no thank you.

We went there to buy a sofa and Mr. Jimmy was there to assist us, who was very freindly and courteous. Not to mention, collection was wide and we found what we were looking for.

I came to Ashley’s to browse for some couches . Marie approached me immediately and answered all my questions on the new furniture we got . Steve the manager and Marie were amazing very helpful and knowledgeable on all their products . Thank you both for all your help .

We tried to purchase something and could not. The supervisor, Virginia, was rude and completely unhelpful, like she didn’t care. We were told we could not check out until the associate was finished with their current customer. We left, without purchasing anything.

I had a great experience with Ashley furniture! We live in Iowa and are moving to San Diego. We went to then Iowa City store and found items we loved. Christy helped us, and spent so much time and was so caring. She then sent us to work with the store in San Diego, where we were able to handle the order and delivery details over the phone. We worked with Marie, who is a rockstar. We don’t have our furniture yet, but are hopeful all goes well with delivery and set up.

Delivery of the furniture was fast and the delivery men were very careful with the furniture and respectful of their surroundings ( walls, stairs, other furniture, etc,) Ashley Home staff communicated about the delivery every step of the way. Our sales rep gave us some great decor advice @ checked measurements to make sure everything would fit. He knows a lot about the products available: our sofa has washable cushions! Probably the worst Ashley store experience ever. We were greeted by a person named Momo, who was not interested in selling or answering any questions. We went there with clear intention to buy a king bed but unfortunately this guy just didn’t want to sell. Ashley just lost a long loyal customer.

Deceptive Financing Practices – Buyer Beware I purchased furniture from Ashley under the impression that I was signing up for a 5-year, no interest payment plan. What they failed to disclose was that they had split my purchase into two separate agreements, with a large portion on a 12-month payment schedule. When I reached the 12-month mark, I was hit with thousands of dollars in interest charges. Attempts to resolve this were completely denied. This kind of shady business practice is incredibly deceptive. I would highly recommend avoiding Ashley Furniture and their financing options. Buyer beware!

I was pleased with the couch and carpet I bought from Ashley—both were reasonably priced and of high quality. However, I am now reconsidering purchasing a bed frame from them due to a troubling experience with their delivery driver. The driver exhibited unprofessional and inappropriate behavior, asking intrusive questions about my personal life and relationship status and making me feel uncomfortable in my own home. Additionally, he contacted me on my personal number after the delivery without my consent. I am concerned for my safety as this individual now has my address, phone number, and full name. While I understand the delivery service is outsourced, Ashley Furniture is ultimately responsible for the actions of its representatives. I no longer feel comfortable using their services, as I am worried about encountering similar issues in the future. Moreover, I find it difficult to report such behavior, which only adds to my sense of insecurity. Consequently, I will not be returning to Ashley Furniture.

Marie has been nothing but amazing. She greeted us from our first step in the store. Advised me with regards to Acima to the tee and was able to find me exactly what I wanted within my price range. A wonderful personality and the knowledge you expect from them. The store itself is huge and stocked with more variety than I expected. IKEA could never lol. The process was smooth and easy. My main job was to sit, relax, and wait. Thank you Marie!

It's a big store with many options. Only thing is that you need to understand that the customers sometimes need space to see around and sit on sofas to get a feeling. Having someone follow you on your tail is very uncomfortable and probably the reason why we ended up not buying what we liked.

My boyfriend and I went to buy dresser drawers and counter chairs! David was exceptional to work with! David gave us great advice, had great customer service and was really easy to work with. We enjoyed our time and look forward to coming back again soon!

I bought an entire bedroom set and kitchen chairs here, including the 5 year warranty, and was never once told there is a zero return policy. I dropped thousands of dollars at this store and once the furniture was in place at my home I decided the night stands were a little too large for the area. I even kept them wrapped and in perfect condition and called to see about returning them for something smaller but apparently they will not allow that and now I have two $450 nightstands that I have to work around. I liked the store before this and have shopped there previously but I am so angry this is the policy they have in place. It feels very disrespectful and I regret ever having been a customer.

Excellent experience here. We came in to look for an adjustable bed for my dad, who would be discharging from the hospital, so we needed a piece that would help improve his symptoms and not worsen his physical health or abilities. Mindy was very patient with us and was also very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of each mattress. She put us at ease during the whole process, as anyone knows, finding the perfect mattress, especially for someone else, is not an easy process. Even the manager who was there this morning, was extremely helpful, too, as we needed the mattress, right away. We truly appreciate you guys! I recently purchased a bedroom set and mattress from this store. The mattress gives me back pain and I cannot sleep on it. I reached out to Ashley customer service for a return or exchange. I went to the store as well. They do not accept to return or exchange it! Ashley simply does not have return or re-selection options! When other companies like Costco, Amazon, Wayfair, IKEA, Big Lots, and so on all accept returns, some even after a year!, why would I buy furniture from Ashley again? Especially in a situation that I have to return or exchange an item? I won’t buy anything from Ashley again! Update: Check out the owner's response below. You think they supported? I emailed and they did nothing! I have a mattress now that I cannot sleep on it; they did not accept to return or exchange it. They don’t care about you or your satisfaction, they just want the money!

After lots of work with my indecisive self I had to write a review to applaud the wonderfully patient and kind staff here at Ashley furniture. Initially we spent about an hour or so here searching for a new mattress as well as a brand new couch. This was our last stop after Jerome's and a few other large stores and we started to lose hope. Thank goodness the selection was the best, and even better the employees were incredibly patient. If you're anything like me you nitpick every detail before making a large purchase and take lots of time to think things over, especially when you invest in items you're going to be using everyday. The manager Andres assisted us with every question and we had such a wonderful experience while he helped us. Whoever is in charge, give this man a raise! My partner and I had about 1000 questions as we picked over the different mattresses, and he made it a point to answer every single one he could. I never felt pressured or hurried to buy or leave, despite arriving an hour before closing! He even assisted us as we ended up deciding on buying a last minute piece of furniture. I'm sure it would drive anyone crazy, but he assisted us with a smile on his face even after finishing up our paperwork past closing time. This should be the standard for customer service. Keep hiring people like this and we will continue to be return customers Ashley! We can't wait for our new mattresses and furniture. Thank you Andres!

Do NOT buy furniture from Ashley Furniture Store. I paid an extra $100 for their "No Hassle Delivery" for a dresser and two nightstands to be delivered to my apartment and assembled by the delivery team in my bedroom. This "No Hassle" delivery is a complete joke. The two delivery guys left the furniture in their boxes in the middle of my living room and started to walk out of my apartment. When I told them I paid for the furniture to be assembled, the two delivery men told me it was not their problem and to call the store. They walked out, leaving my furniture unassembled. I contacted the store and a customer service agent created a case for me, in which I was supposed to hear back in 1-2 business days. After 3 business days, I called back to follow up and found that someone had closed the case. When I asked this customer service agent why someone would close the case, he stated the furniture was considered "self-assembly"... I asked the agent, how was I able to pay for assembly if they deemed the furniture self-assembly? He took back what he said and told me he reopened the case. He told me someone would contact me in another 1-2 business days. I told this customer service agent I wanted someone to contact me by the end of the day to set up a time for assembly as I had paid for. He claimed he emailed the delivery team to schedule the assembly of my furniture, but he did not supply me with email confirmation of this. I will be requesting a refund for this so-called "No Hassle Delivery" as the company did not follow through on their promise to assemble the furniture. I will never buy furniture from any Ashley Furniture Store again!

First time customer, great experience! So when I first got to the store I was beyond upset because my dog chewed up my couch and peed all over my new mattress I got months ago, so I was in no mood to actually speak with anyone. I’m walking around and trying to avoid the sales reps because I wasn’t in the mood to be sold to. This guy James comes and I’m like here we go with the sales, but no… He approaches me and tells me that whatever I was going through that’s it’s going to be okay. At that moment I was like wait do I know you or something and he said no but he could tell that something was bothering me. He goes on to say that he could’ve just pushed a new coffee table or anything but that he’s not that type of person that he just genuinely wanted to know if I was okay. Long story, I really appreciated that because I was just expecting something totally different but James actually cared enough as a person to see if I was okay. After all that I told him my dilemma and he kindly pointed me in the right direction. Not only did I leave that place with a new mattress and couch at a great price but also I left in a better head space. Thanks James for the help!

Worst experience ever! Ashley does not stand behind their product like they claim. First delivery had defects in the material. After 4 more attempts ( spanning a month) they still couldn’t deliver a complete sectional without the same defect yet they refused to let us return it and be done. We would have to buy something else of equal or greater value to do the return. They finally agreed to a reduced price after dealing with numerous people telling me they were so sorry about the situation and they would make sure to investigate, then we would never hear from them again. The sales associate, Brandon was the best thing in our experience with Ashley. He showed more common courtesy and concern for us than the store manager who completely hung Brandon out to dry on this sale. Brandon reached out several times while the Manager only did to tell us of another attempt to deliver which didn’t happen because that sectional also had the defect. No follow up from him after that. Bet they are still selling this sectional knowing they can’t get it right and they have defects. But since Ashley doesn’t do returns, you will be stuck like we are. Their customer service is outsourced overseas, good luck with them. They are completely scripted and less than helpful. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere! Wish we had never stepped foot in that store!

We ,unfortunately, forgot to give our new address for delivery. Ashley came through w/ outstanding customer service. They were in constant contact to make sure we received our order same day.

I purchased a dining room set two years ago that I had my eyes on the entire time we were in lockdown during covid, and unfortunately for me, I dripped acetone on the table from a leaking bottle and didn't realize it until I noticed that the table was wet. By that time, the acetone had eaten through the finish on the wood and the table couldn't be repaired. I had purchased the protection plan, however, so it was covered for replacement. The set I originally purchased and needed to replace had been discontinued, so I went out to the Miramar location on February 23 to look for a replacement. I was told to ask for Marie, but it was her day off. Mo helped me out instead. He didn't follow me around the store; he simply let me look and was available to answer my questions.Long story short, I have a small dining area in my home and most of the sets I liked were too large. There were two that I wanted to look at that I saw on line and were supposed to be in stock at the Miramar location. One set was there; the other was not. I wound up buying the other set sight unseen so I hope it's as nice as I anticipate, although it won't really replace the set I have and fell in love with. Mo was extremely helpful, kind, considerate, and personable. I have no complaints regarding the sales staff. I wish their online inventory was more accurate, but that isn't their fault. When Mo wrote up the sale, he even credited Marie with part of the commission. I thought that deserved extra kudos for consideration and generosity. I don't know as yet how delivery will go, but so far, so good. No complaints! I gave only four stars, however, because of the inaccurate information on the website and limited availability of smaller dining room sets (60" - 65").

Store manager told me that I can communicate with the delivery people to pick the delivery time slot, turned out that theres no way I can get a hold of the actual delivery people because: 1. Ashley furniture network directs me to overseas scheduling hotline who cannot contact the store delivery 2. Google maps number forwards to national number so I can't get a hold of any store personnel 3. The delivery guy actually called me so i told him that the original date time wont work, when i asked him for different time he said he will call back in 5 min and theres no way i can get a hold of him I end up using my day after proposal to my fiance to get it delivered the time slot that they can support, doesnt work around my time unfortunately...

I bought a set of bedroom furniture that was one of the most expensive. The sellers do not understand the sizes of mattresses or spring blocks. The furniture was delivered scratched. The seller said that they would come and repair it, but there was no feedback, and the answering machine kept ringing. I slept on the floor for two weeks and waited for special spring blocks for the mattress; they were delivered in different sizes. All employees do not care about you, they just want to sell goods. I will never buy anything there again. Better in other stores without hassle and with good service. One word “Ashley” causes a gag reflex

I purchased a TV console in MeraMesa (San Diego0. Sales person David said it should be mostly assembled. Arrived in one flat box. Took over an hour to assemble. Material is cheap particle board. Arrived on Tuesday, I worked on it through Saturday. Legs are also cheap material that crumbled when tried to screw on. The hardware came out on both, so you know it is the material. Chatted with customer service on Sunday and they said returns and exchanges can only be done within 72 hours of delivery. So even though this is obviously a defect in product, Ashley Home Store will do nothing about it. This unit is unusable. I purchased another at a different store and will never shop here again. Do not shop here. Cheap stuff and they will not back their product. STAY AWAY

Bed Frame ended up being ordered without all the required parts. Sales Associate who sold me obviously was unaware of the required support slabs. Have to wait 4 days now for another delivery and my son has to take day off of work because couldn’t get guarantee of morning delivery. I’m disappointed this time around with Ashley. Hope you come through and set things right in 4 days. I remain hopeful.

Came to order my couch that I had problems ordering over the website. Jimmy greeted me as I entered and made it very quick and easy to order my couch I was wanting. Very great service. Store is also very nice large selection of furniture and other house hold goods.

We had a great experience. The sales rep who greeted us, Jimmy, was personable, knowledgeable, not pushy, and helped us in the purchase process for our new couch. He even bought me a bottled water when I mentioned that I was thirsty!

On December 28th There was a woman with blond long hair working for your store . When we JUST walked in, she immediately approached to us and telling us about the discount . She was following and staring at us. I felt uncomfortable by this so-so aggressive approaching. When we were in another section, she was staring and smiling. She knew I was uncomfortable to be stare when my family and l were signing. This considers it very rude. We understood that the workers rely on commission. For a better approach would give ANY customer a time to walk around and then ask if needs any help. This may help to improve the review.

I shopped several furniture stores searching for a leather sofa. After meeting with Marie at Ashley's, not only did I find the sofa I wanted but I met the best salesperson possible. Marie is kind, very knowledgeable and gives that personal care and concern that let's you know that it is your best interest that is in the forefront of your purchase. To me, Marie is Ashley. I am close to another Ashley store but because of Marie, I drove further because of the personal service she gives. I would advise anyone that if you go to Ashley furniture store, ask for Marie.

Very fast and friendly service by Taz. Helped me find just what I was looking for. Price seems very reasonable.

Service was good just the couch sucks. I mean just awful. Felt nothing like it did in store. The warranty doesn't cover anything and after a year the couch just kept getting worse. We finally had to buy another one. Thousands of dollars. That's not easy to come by. We spent years saving to buy something nice for our living room and it was horrible. Springs poking through. Friends would rather bring a kitchen chair into the living room. You'd get up from sitting on it and your back and neck would be in pain. So frustrated and disappointed and really upset about the wasted money. The new couch is super comfortable but doesn't fit the space well. So much work shopping for around for these things. Just exhausting. Our last couch made it 10 years and through several military moves, including cross country. This couch was terribly poor quality and there's nothing the store or warranty will do about it. On the good side it's been discontinued.

First and last piece of furniture I will ever buy from Ashley furniture. I was sold a cheap leather couch! I Spent a lot money . Sales person sold me the warranty insurance. Tells me how great it is to have insurance when you have grandkids. 3 years after having the couch the leather started fading. Guess what the insurance doesn’t cover that. I’ve always had leather furniture and fading has never happen. Terrible furniture!

Our family has been in nest building mode recently and we came in after hearing good things about Ashley’s. By the time we arrived it was a getting near closing time and despite that we were greeted by a friendly team member named Marie. Without feeling rushed or pressured, she thoughtfully listened to our needs and showed us specific pieces that fit our aesthetic. Marie was very personable and informative and made the entire process seamless from piece selection to information on financing/available promotions and even specific delivery times. Highly recommend and will be back to this location again soon.

I am immensely dissatisfied and disappointed in the lack of customer service from Ashley. I ordered a sofa over two weeks ago, waited for my delivery date, just to find out that morning my sofa wasn’t going to be delivered. My husband and I took off work and stayed home for the delivery, and I didn’t find out the delivery was going to be canceled because I was contacted, I found out because on the tracking delivery email I received the morning my sofa was to be delivered, the quantity stated 0 for 1 of the 3 sections to the sectional that I ordered. If all sections aren’t at the warehouse then the delivery has to be rescheduled. What a HUGE inconvenience and especially frustrating to not have communication about the change!! Then I go to the Miramar Ashley store and the manager, Yama, showed no compassion to the situation. He didn’t put much effort in trying to make things right and didn’t show too much care and concern. Usually with great customer service when a customer is put through such a situation one would think the manager would try to go over and beyond to keep your business, but he didn’t. I asked him to call his manager and he said because of the holiday he’s too busy and won’t answer. I’ll never shop at Ashley again. I don’t appreciate the lack of customer service and communication when I waited so long for my sofa to be delivered, just to find out on the delivery day that my sofa wasn’t coming. If you’re in the market for a cloud couch, check out Coleman Furniture online. I canceled my order of the Sophie couch after realizing that Ashley Furniture was overcharging me by $500. (Including free delivery with Coleman vs. $199 with Ashley Furniture). The sales associate assured me I would only be able to purchase this couch through Ashley. Do your research before purchasing in store.

Taxmen was wonderful. I was struggling with my decision. When I showed her the table that was made for me, she took me straight to the perfect chair. I had skipped past this chair because I thought they were part of a set. It took her 5 seconds to point it out. I had tried Macy’s, Target and Living Spaces but Ashley’s selections, prices, especially, the assembly and delivery price sold me. This was my first time at Ashley and I go again.

Very good experience. Tisha was very helpful and NEVER pushy. She showed us several couches and gave us all estimated costs for the layouts we wanted. Explained everything very well, and was very fast and efficient. 10/10!

There weren't a lot of sales people available to answer questions. Then when I did find one, he was good at taking the time to look for the chair I wanted to purchase. After not finding it on the show floor, I decided to still go ahead and order it. I specifically gave him my new address, yet when I received my email confirmation of the order, it still showed the old address. Had I not caught it before I left the store, the chair may have been delivered to my old address. This sloppiness and not paying attention to detail is unacceptable. Customer service resolved the problem before I left the store. Otherwise, it would be a one star review.

Marie is SO great and extremely helpful! She helped me find the perfect couch and I couldn’t be happier. Some sales people really make you feel like they don’t care at all once you pay for your purchase but I know she is someone I can count on for years to come!
