It was my first time buying furniture and Curtis and Tina were very helpful. They understood I needed to take my time to find the right furniture for my home and that meant going back a few times. They were always there when I needed them and did not hover over us like other furniture stores. I let Tina know I will be coming back during winter.

Never misjudge sales skills by the age of the sales rep. My wife and I stopped by Ashley to look at their selection of oversized chairs. The sales rep that greeted us was young (I assumed a freshman in college). His name is Kohl and he proved to be knowledgeable above his years. We felt we had his full attention without being pressured. I returned the next day to settle the account The quality of the items exceeded our expectations, but the presentation of the sales person helped us TRUST ASHLEY. I commended Kohl to his manager and predicted he would be the manager in five years. Ashley great product, and if Kohl is a representative of your sales force GREAT PEOPLE

We had ordered a bedroom set but it was raking longer then we wanted to arrive. We went to the store to cancel our order but met Hakim. He was a great assistance to us and made us feel like he would take care of us and fix the situation. Hakim went over and above and was able to contact customer service and get us a finalized date of delivery that we were very happy with. Great job Hakim
Very helpful staff and floor manager. Great discount in effect plus we got additional 10 % for military. Very good about delivery. My only ? is that I understood that we were offered free delivery and protection but that wasn't the case.
Charged a higher price by $150 in store vs. Online. I came back to store and they credited the difference without question. I feel like you need to look online first before playing "let's make a deal!"
Our experience with Ashley Homestore San Marcos was not pleasant. While the furniture we bought is very nice and delivery was prompt, we had a mix up on delivery day of an item needed. When we tried to contact customer service and the store to get the new item replaced they would not answer the phone. We had to go into the store personally twice, which we were told someone would call. They wouldn’t call us back. Because of an error made by the store we went without a bed for 5 days trying to get a replacement piece. Customer service was lacking greatly. Doubtful if I ever shop there again.
Delivery driver dropped my chest drawer! And my bed frame was damaged! First time ordering from Ashley’s and pretty disappointed!!!!
Great employees , horrible company. I’ve been waiting 3 months now for a $700 refund and the amount of different information I’ve received over the last few months.... I am never buying from this company or this store ever again.
Bad customer service one of the managers was very condescending.
We had a pretty bad experience at Ashley and we recommend to everyone not to shop there. We had three issues, for which Ashley should be ashamed of themeselves: 1. The furniture was delayed approximately 1 month - with the pandemic supply situation this is understandable, but what is not acceptable is Ashley failing to call us to inform us of the delay. There is no excuse for them not emailing or calling us, we had to call them and stay on hold to learn of the delay 2. The furniture we bought was missing two parts. Again, this happens and I understand this. What is not acceptable is that not a single Ashley employee or contractor apologized for their mistake on the day of delivery. We are waiting for the missing pieces thus from the two bad experiences we already had, I am not hopeful about getting them smoothly 3. For the mistakes Ashley made, they offered no compensation for their problems that affected us. Not suprising for a company whos employees don't admit their mistakes or apologize for them. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere - we purchased from the San Marcos store, I would avoid this company
👎 Stay away from Ashley Furniture 👎 Their furniture is low quality and damaged on arrival multilpe times. Waste of time buying from Ashely Furniture. I ordered a bedroom set from Ashely Furniture. First delivery had a marked up headboard, damage to the dresser, and dent in the framing of the mirror. It was a joke that this would even be attempted to be delivered. We refused everything. They didn't seem to care that we had to refuse everything from our first shipment. We scheduled the second delivery and more damaged items showed up a week later. Stains on the headboard, damage to nightstands. They even sent the SAME damaged dresser that I refused the first time. They made no attempt to fix the dresser and sent the same damaged dresser the second time around. Customer service was useless recommending we have a technician clean and fix our brand new furniture. Brand new furniture should not need fixing day one. Manager said he would "send an email to customer service" after second damaged delivery. That was the best they could do to help a customer who had two rounds of very damaged terrible furniture. Do not shop at Ashley Furniture.
After purchasing pieces for multiple rooms with the warranty coverage we attempted to file a claim for repair. We learned that the first claim was closed by GBS (endorsed warranty repair company that Ashley utilizes) when we contacted them for a status check. We were told that they had a computer issue that closed the claim and we needed to refile the claim. While we were refiling the claim the operator from GBS attempted to utilize every reason on why it wouldn't have been covered (FYI 30 days after we noticed the issue is a reason why it can be voided, they tried to go 30 days from when I filed my claim) Long story short they are going to send a technician out to check on the possibility of a repair. I contacted Ashley Home Store to let them know about what the experience and they assured me that wasn't the normal experience and said the damages should be covered under the warranty and apologized for the experience. Stated they would check if one of their technicians could make it out. The operator returned and asked me to call back to their warranty company, "in hopes that I get a different operator", seriously?! Do not purchase the warranty plan you are better off just paying for repairs as you go. Customer service is horrible after making your purchase.
WORST ONLINE CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL TIME! This is my dog sitting on a bed with all the parts not yet delivered on Day 1. This is the Jeraray Upholstered Bed and it is horrible. Its not the same color as online either. The worst part, it was delivered with missing parts, great they’ll arrive in 7-10 days. 45 days of waiting - NO PARTS and we’ve trying to get Ashley to issue a full refund. I have 8 hours of CALL Logs to get their customer service to work with me and they always say “yes - it will be picked up in 72 hours, just wait for an email or phone call!” NOTHING, no email, no phone call. The first two people completely lied to me and I even have a customer complaint issued. I’ve been in touch with the Escalation team, supervisors, logistics department - you name it and it’s officially now the WORST furniture store I’ve ever dealt with and the WORST e-commerce store. We are soooo unhappy and disappointed and I plan to keep posting every day until I get someone at the top to take this BED out of my house!!!! I know have a brand new bed with all the parts and its not from Ashley. I’ll never ever refer or order from them again. Dont waste your money, time or energy or you’ll spend a full working day on a sub-par bed.
