I went into the San Marcos store to buy a dresser on Nov. 4, 2020. I still have not received it. It may or may not be delivered Dec. 2,2020. 1st order was damaged. 2nd order I did not receive phone message in time to respond. I could not call to confirm delivery. Customer service at its worst. What should have been a simple order has turned into a disaster.
Horrible. I ordered my furniture over 2 months ago. They rescheduled delivery 4 times already. It was scheduled for delivery today and they called the night before that it will be delayed another 2 weeks. I would have never bought it at Ashely if I knew it will be months to get delivery. NEVER AGAIN!!!
I am very upset with Ashley furniture store. After spending over 12k on furniture and confirmed delivery, date, location, time. The delivery folks screw it up by delivering it to a completely different address! I told them they need to fix it and now they are saying it’s too late to change the address and have to reschedule. Trying to get a hold of anyone is impossible. So I am now working on canceling my full order because at the store everyone is happy and nice because you are spending money, but comes to delivery and holding people accountable...0 for effort and service! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY THERE!
We got a great deal on a set of couches so 5 starrs on price but the experience is the typical outdated salesman approach. Do you really need salesmen hovering around your every move when buying furniture? Why is this the norm. Then when you make the purchase you have to sit with them for over an hour to work out the "contact." Why? I'm getting couches not signing a life insurance policy. Furniture sale practices are stuck in the past. Ashley's is no different. Decent prices though.
Don't ever go to Ashley furniture I bought furniture worth $4000. Back in June its November know and I still haven't received all my furniture. I try to call and no one returns my calls .. I will never ever ever shop there again ... I have never seen such horrible personal service in my life. Also the furniture is not the same as in there show room. I feel ripped off and hustled . Next time I will go to JEROME'S.....

Dont buy the insurance! It useless. I purchased a $1200 dining room table/chairs, and they denied every repair I requested.
Ashley may be the largest store but their customer service is sub-par. No return calls ever. Been waiting for my furniture since July. Called store manager to discuss but he could not be bothered because he had in store clients. Left 6 messages for customer service with a 48 hour call back window disclaimed...nope...No return calls. I will never shop here again.

This store has the absolute worst customer service. I came to this store August 16th knowing exactly what I needed to purchase. Bryan was our sales associate and he was horrific. Didn’t care to show us where anything was, he’d rather look at his phone and just point in the direction of things. He was obviously annoyed and inconvenienced by any questions asked. We should have walked away then, but we continued our order. We received our first delivery September 6th which contained tv stand, dining table and chairs, and the WRONG bed; not to mention our dressers and nightstands were missing. Contacted customer service and was told the bed and nightstands could be delivered the following Saturday (September 12). After never being given a delivery time and sitting in hold with customer service for over an hour to find out what time, the bed arrived and once again no nightstands. Was informed by customer service they had just arrived to the warehouse and I would get a call back in two days to schedule delivery. No call. So I spoke to customer service once again September 16th and confirmed my dressers would be delivered September 28th and nightstands October 6th. September 27th I never received a call to tell me my delivery window. Once again I sat on hold with customer service only for them to tell me they are in fact NOT coming on the 28th, but won’t be here until NOVEMBER 5th! I asked to be transferred to the store manager. I spoke to The manager David who could only apologize twenty million times. He did offer a partial refund (basically just my delivery fee) for the inconvenience. I asked to confirm what would be delivered on which dates as I am still waiting for two dressers and two nightstands. David told me he would have an updated list the following day and would call me around noon. I waited until about 4pm to call the store. After an hour of trying to get through to the store I finally went in. Waited 15 minutes to speak to David only for him to be absolutely rude and obviously does not care about his customers. Apparently the systems were down so he couldn’t do anything for me. So I now still have missing items with no idea of when they will be arriving. The worst customer service experience I’ve ever had and I was told I can’t even return the items I already received.
John Polese was wonderful. I found the perfect sofa for my home and the price was very reasonable . John was professional and very helpful. Im excited to get my delivery.
The quality is good, and the showroom is great as well. But the delivery time and logistics including the response time and hassle when you have issues with your order is very difficult. It's been months since I ordered my furniture and a few pieces still are pending delivery, Covid-19? Maybe. And I still have issue with a pending exchange because one of the pieces is built wrong, after 6-7 weeks of delivery. So over all, there's definitely room to improve. Update: The delivery and customer service is one of the worst! after 2 months, I'm still waiting for a piece of furniture to be delivered. And still haven't received the exchange for one of the entertainment pier that was mistakenly delivered. When calling customer service it'll go to voice mail after 15 minutes of waiting. Don't waste your money and time with this Ashley.
On August 7, bought a sofa set. The delivery date was to be the 19th Sept. They called that day and said only the love seat was coming by 4:15pm. At 4:30 I called them because no delivery. They told me the Sofa was discontinued. Sorry!#? Right my wife and I cleaned and cleared the Family room, stayed home from 12pm to 4:30 pm for nothing. Waste of time. Called the store several times was on forever hold. Don't go there.

Bobby helped to and even the store manager helped out while they where busy! It's hard to find a store where employees find and ask you sincerely how they can help and follow through. This is the fifth purchase I have made at Ashley's. I shopped around and they beat the competition. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger said "I'll be back"
