Do NOT buy furniture from Ashley Furniture Store. I paid an extra $100 for their "No Hassle Delivery" for a dresser and two nightstands to be delivered to my apartment and assembled by the delivery team in my bedroom. This "No Hassle" delivery is a complete joke. The two delivery guys left the furniture in their boxes in the middle of my living room and started to walk out of my apartment. When I told them I paid for the furniture to be assembled, the two delivery men told me it was not their problem and to call the store. They walked out, leaving my furniture unassembled. I contacted the store and a customer service agent created a case for me, in which I was supposed to hear back in 1-2 business days. After 3 business days, I called back to follow up and found that someone had closed the case. When I asked this customer service agent why someone would close the case, he stated the furniture was considered "self-assembly"... I asked the agent, how was I able to pay for assembly if they deemed the furniture self-assembly? He took back what he said and told me he reopened the case. He told me someone would contact me in another 1-2 business days. I told this customer service agent I wanted someone to contact me by the end of the day to set up a time for assembly as I had paid for. He claimed he emailed the delivery team to schedule the assembly of my furniture, but he did not supply me with email confirmation of this. I will be requesting a refund for this so-called "No Hassle Delivery" as the company did not follow through on their promise to assemble the furniture. I will never buy furniture from any Ashley Furniture Store again!
Run, stay away, do not buy anything here that you might need a warranty for. This is not for this particular store but with Ashley as a company. I have met several former salespeople who have all said that my experience here was typical and it's why they left. The furniture is VERY cheaply made and the couches I purchased here had a bent frame within 2 months of the purchase. The ex had even bought an extended warranty only to never hear ANYTHING back from our very tedious to file claim. We tried multiple times with multiple calls all to no avail. $1500 down the drain and lesson learned to never buy from a company who could care less about repeat customers.
