We first went to Living Spaces for a sleeper sofa. They were expensive but we needed one right away. Since they had to order one, which would take too much time we went to Ashley's. There we found out that everything was 50% off Labor Day sale! We found the sofa we wanted and it would be delivered in a few days. Since there was a sale, we also got a coffee table/end table set and a single couch. We choose not to get the protection plan. The manager gave it to us anyway and to show we got it, they took $X amount of the furniture and put it toward the protection plan so the bottom line didn't change. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

London from the start of the conversation to the closing of the deal was absolutely amazing. Not only did we get what we wanted but she was never pushy or frustrated when we took out certain items to make the end cost better. That was the best Ashley’s experience we have ever had, thanks to London!
Robert has been great!! He was so patient with my husband and I cuz we just could not agree . But he was able to direct us and such a wonderful way that we ended up finding just what we wanted. All the staff is friendly and helpful as well. Definitely a great store to shop in.
Delivery team was great. Professional, patient and on time! HOWEVER, customer service was awful. My estimated delivery date was July 20. The date came and went. NOBODY called or emailed for several days. I tried to call after a week had past and couldn't get through to their phone lines. Furious, I nearly went to the store to complain. Finally I got through before wasting the gas. Online chat was useless. They could not answer my simple question and responded by being rude...online. SO be prepared for unprofessional service once they have your money and you are waiting for delivery. I had no problem with an extended wait time. I had a problem with the lack of communication!
One of the 2 bar stools was fine other than it's a little lopsided. The other came with defective parts...the middle piece did not have any threading on one end so did not tighten properly. And then one of the screws for the base did not fit. So now I have to wait another week and a half to supposedly get replacement parts. Disappointed overall in the purchase tbh.
Horrible place horrible people. We bought a bed from them very expensive. And the completely send us a diffrent bed. When we went to ask for what we paid for they said they "may or may not remember" the service manager got in out face aggressively and said they could do nothing no Exchange no return . This happened an hour after the bed was delivered. Don't shop at ashley please do your self a favor and look for a professional place of business. Not with these greedy sales men.
If I could leave NO stars I would! After looking at all the furniture stores in our area we found exactly what we wanted at the San Marcos Ashley Furniture store. We were so happy when we heard the items would be delivered in a week and we made arrangements to have our old furniture picked up and given away. Fortunately we held off having the old stuff carted off until right before the new stuff was going to be delivered because I got a call on Sunday afternoon that the delivery would be delayed until October 31! I called the number that the message was called from to find out exactly which piece/pieces were going to be delayed since the girl didn't identify them, and found out that the whole thing may not come until MAY 2022! And to make matters WAY WORSE, Ashley had already CHARGED our credit card for the entire amount! Who does that? I called their customer care line which is a joke. All they could do was apologize. They had no one that my complaint could be escalated to. What kind of organization is this? I understand that the "supply chain" for furniture has been disrupted by COVID, but from the start, they should have been honest about when we would get our furniture. I even got an email letting me know that it was being delivered this Wednesday and "how to prepare" for the delivery people to make it as easy as possible. Worst customer service EVER!!!!!
A very great service, I bought beds for my children said they had them available by July, when the order arrived I arrived they came out that they did not bring full beds that had been damaged that they had to reorder the damaged parts and it is the date that they do not yet arrive, call and now they leave that until October 28 the parts of the one bed is missing the drawers and the other bed nadamas is missing the head of the bed but I called the store to help me send me that part but there is no result, I went to the store to change the bed for another to have it before my son entered school so that he is not sleeping on the hard floor and it turned out that I had to pay all for them to send it to me and to remove the bed bill to cancel that I have to wait until they call me to know when they will come to pick up the parts that left me incomplete from my son's bed is not fair to fool you when they tell you they have available the things you want to buy nothing more for they sell and come out after they couldn't carry the whole order and other things things get damaged or radas but if to collect the invoice if they are on time to send the account then I hope the store manager will see this message and resolve my problem because they always do that with customers if I don't look for another way to help me .
If I could give them 1 star I would. WOW is Ashley furniture HORRIFIC. Where do I start? We ordered a couch and was told they would communicate when they will deliver etc. We set up a date , received multiple confirmations leading up ( 5 day , 3 day and 2 day before). We even got a TEXT MESSAGE CONFIRMING FROM WHOM WE PURCHASED IT FROM. Day before I never received a phone call to give me a time slot. So I decided to call and was told they confirmed and changed the date to Tuesday this week... I'm sorry what? NO ONE EVER TOLD ME THIS. No one communicated anything the first person I talked with (call center) was zero help. My husband called and got further was apologized to was told they will open a ticket for a refund. Okay fine we got a new date , pretty annoyed and mad since we scheduled our work around ALL OF THIS. Now fast forward to Tuesday, never received a call day before for arrival time. I had to go online and figure it out. Sow a delivery time between 3-7. We got a phone call from YOUR SERVICE REP. at 6:00 saying the truck had issues and would it be okay to deliver around 7-9, reluctantly we agreed because the lack of customer care is real and we just are tired of sitting on the floor. 10:00 ROLLS AROUND AND STILL NOTHING, we attempted to call and communicate with the number provided and NO ONE WAS TRYING TO TALK TO US. I was able to see they were on stop 6 ... We are stop 10. WOW ASHLEY FURNITURE, YOU OBVIOUSLY DO NOT CARE. Now we are being punished by you all because we did not want to accept a delivery at MIDNIGHT. My husband has been attempting to contact you all about this just to be told because we weren't available at MIDNIGHT we can't receive our couch until a other week.

We all know the markups are huge. But it is what it is. My complaint is company policy to not see floor models. I’m disabled and my 10 year old Ashley recliner died. I went to them to find another. Because of my disability I can’t get up from a silty overstuffed recliner. I found a perfect one but it’s out of stock for 8 weeks. I asked to buy the ccloir model even at full price. They refused. At full price, $1200 they would have made over $1000 pure profit. But they wouldn’t sell. Dave the store manager said he couldn’t. Well I think the policy should be changed to allow it if the price makes sense. Disabled people have a lot of challenges and the recliner was not central to selling the rest of the room suite.
Over 7 months to get my bed fully delivered, deleting my account and sending the wrong item and mixing my order...horrible communication
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE. Ashely Furniture has a NO REFUND policy EVEN if they deliver you broken furniture. I know because it happened to me. I ordered a coffee table and it arrived cracked and off center. When I called asking to return it the day after it was delivered, they told me they have a no refund policy. They told me I have to wait for a tech to come diagnose it 15 days later. I told him I just want my money back but they do not do refunds. I reported them to the BBB and my next stop is the Attorney General.
