Had a great experience with customer service. I went in early in the morning and shopped around. I had a young gentlemen greet me. When I returned in the afternoon, Joyce assisted me and did her best to provide a 10% discount on my couch with the stars and stripes program. I was a bit disappointed to hear that they could to provide more, as it seemed they could when I first talked to the store. My husband and I had a great first time experience at Ashley’s! We just moved into a new home with no furniture but a bed. We have been looking for months for the rest of our furniture and ended up buying a couch, dining table and outdoor set thanks to John’s (JP’s) help! He was great! He was able to answer all of our questions, was patient with us trying the different furniture, was receptive to our comments and opinions and gave us enough space and time to make our decision in between pieces. Good, but collection can be improved.

Smelled burning smell from the lit cupholders on loveseat recliner. We had purchased 5 year protection plan so called store to get repair. We were then told there is a recall for this particular item and that it has caused fires! Recommended we unplug it until technician can come out to repair. Ashley never notified us of this recall from June of 2023. What if our house had burned down or someone got injured? Technician has replaced cupholder but but lights still not operating properly. We are uncomfortable having this item in our home and have repeatedly tried reaching out to store for a credit on item to replace this potentially dangerous item but haven't been able to get a response. We're told the manager is the only one that can make that decision. What's the point of the 5 year protection plan? And why is the manager conveniently never available to talk with to get this complaint resolved?

Andres was attentive and very knowledgeable. As soon as I walked through the doors he greeted me and asked what I was looking for. He pointed me in the right direction, answered all of my questions and helped me find what I was looking for. I was super happy with my purchase and the service received.

Though the delivery process & delivery team in the past has been difficult to deal with, they now have an option to ship the furniture by FedEx for free which I was excited about. Roberto Melendez was extremely helpful with our furniture buying process the minute we stepped in to Ashley’s furniture store. We originally went in for a dresser for our bedroom and came out buying a whole new bedroom set for our daughter’s room as well for a great price that we couldn’t turn down.

Hands down, worst customer service I have ever received. I bought a dresser/nightstand set at the end of Jan, paid extra to deliver to my apt. Dresser came, was damaged, paint chipping off, looks like the dresser edge got smashed in. I let them know immediately, they said I would get a replacement, and I would hear back in 72 hours. Its been weeks. If I could explain how many times I have contacted them - by phone, by email, even by their chat feature. Its unbelievable the amount of time I've spent on this. Every time the story changes, its "oh someone can replace just the top of the dresser!" (no one ever calls/shows up), "oh it cannot be replaced, we will get you a new one, you will hear soon!" (no one ever calls). I will never walk into this store again in my life and I would invite others not to as well - its all fine when everything goes right, but when things go wrong, these are absolutely the worst people to buy from. EDIT: After viewing Ashley Furniture's response (below): I responded to their email over 4 days ago with the issue with the damaged dresser and asking for help. Absolutely no response at all. I will be disputing the charge on my credit card. I would strongly prefer to have a nice, undamaged dresser instead, but clearly that isn't going to happen here.

Originally left a great review for smooth sales process. Editing now if I could leave a negative star I would. Dresser came damaged (their delivery protocol they just dropped it off and didn't open the box since we didn't pay extra for assembly). I opened the box right after they left and found the damage. Called immediately on 2/1 and spoke to different people all with different answers. Latest is that we wait 7 - 10 business days from 2/9 for a replacement part, and then schedule to replace. Original person said they can't do that for this piece. BTW, DO NOT fall for getting a store line of credit for a 5% discount. You will not be able to dispute a charge and your credit score takes a hit!

During the last 18yrs I have purchased more furniture & accessories for Ashley's for both my own home & clients than anywhere else because the furniture is beautiful, great quality that stands up through the years. The pricing is also very good considering the quality of the furniture and home decor acessories. But all that is the second reason. The First Reason Is The Consistent Excellent Customer Service! In life nothing is perfect so sometimes issues arrise. When they have Ashley has never failed to solve any issue large ot tiny in a very timely fashsion and to my complete statisfaction. The latest example; I have a beautiful North Shores Bedroom Set. I have had it since 2007. It looks a good today as when I purchased it. I still to this day love it and get compliments on it's detaled beauty. I broke an leaf knob on a nightstand. I called yesterday for a replacement. A simple knob but the Store Manager Richard helped me. He was happy to help me with evne such a small [but very important to me] thing. He will send me two knobs so that the knobs on the drawer will match. When I finished the call I was happy and relieved to be able to restore my nightstand and once again reminded why Ashley was most often my furniture store of choice. Thank You Richard for the Excellent Caring Customer Service! Great Customer Service Always Makes All Tthe Difference. What sets apart the good guys from the others. Unprofessional salesmen on the floor, making Unprofessional comments to my daughter and me. Ordered the wrong color rug, and once I caught it and corrected it, the wrong size arrived. The young gal at the desk was amazing in getting the problem solved as we're the manager and regional manager. After 2 weeks I still don't have my rug, but I believe the right one will arrive, and the managers made it worth the problems.

Curtis was very helpful with finding me the perfect mattress in my price range! Staff was friendly and professional. Definitely will be back if I need anything else!

Completely dissatisfied with Ashley Home furniture. They sold me a dining room set of chairs and I bought the warranty and they would not honor the warranty. They kept saying they needed more pictures and lot numbers and serial numbers. When I sent them in they just said the case was closed with no more response. I would re open it and they would again close it. I am going to file a lawsuit if anyone wants to join me on a class action suit.

Great showroom! Asked an Associate to show me selection of their sofa sleepers and quickly chose one. Paid for it and the whole experience went very smoothly. They asked me to choose a delivery date and it arrived at the 1st 15 minutes of the 4hour delivery time window( to my very pleasant surprise)! The delivery personnel were very pleasant and polite too!

Cheap furniture that does not hold up and they sell you a warranty that doesn’t honor the covered items - go somewhere else and definitely don’t buy their extended scam warranties. After 10+ calls and run around with promises of follow up, no calls from any of the managers or back office - was a long time customer but will not be going back.

Love the store and selection. I bought two items and love them. I would have given 5 stars except the wait to check out was ridiculously long and I had to pay with the exact amount when paying cash. It's all good though. I'll be back.

My wife and I love this company and love to shop here but Fernando Ramirez at 1050 LOS VALLECITOS BLVD, SAN MARCOS, CA 92069 decided to take it upon himself to upgrade our order to the most expensive options without informing us beforehand. He gave us a copy of the receipt without the price breakdown for us to sign and manipulated our good nature to make a few extra dollars. Definitely will not be purchasing furniture here again.

Went to buy a sectional around Veterans Day Weekend. Sales rep wasn’t very helpful but anytime another rep approached us he would intervene so we felt like we had no choice but to stick with him. While he was ringing us up, he didn’t mention any of the specials they had going on, that our purchase qualified us for. Like the 10% Veterans discount and a free dinnerware set. I had to point the signs out to him. His response to the dinnerware set was that they were out but he would still check. But the sign said they were offering them until mid December, and turns out, they did have them. We left wondering what other offers we missed out on and wishing someone else would have helped us instead.

I am totally disappointed with this store. We bought a table set and a sofa set. Thankfully they gave me the right table set. However, they gave me the “wrong color sofa set”. My family and I took our time to go to the store to choose our sofa set. This sofa set will be with us for a very long time. They deliver us the grayish sofas set, instead of the brown sofa set. I called every day, I went to the store. The sales person admitted that they accidentally deliver us the wrong color, however the manager was very rude to me, unprofessional. It’s been 3 weeks, we’ve been patiently waiting & calling. I’m not sure what else to do. My heart is broken, this store left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Ashley's furniture store has always been my to go place for my bedroom sets, living room set, kid’s bedroom set. I am So disappointed!!!. I’ve never experienced such a bad customer service. I was looking for a bedroom set and Ashley a great variety. The way they have the sets arranged throughout the store by "grade" helps to make it easier to find what you are looking for and then choose based on a combination of price and quality. I found exactly what I had dreamed of having; a high quality wood set, yet reasonably priced. By opening a credit card with Ashley, I was able to get a 10% discount, and no payment due for 12 months. The sales rep was friendly, not over-bearing, and very knowledgeable about the company and it's products. It was a great experience!

We had a very pleasant experience at the Ashley Home Store in San Marcos, Ca. Our sales associate Anahi (Ah-na-he) was terrific to work with and so helpful as well. Overall a nice atmosphere to shop in and the purchase was easy. Didn't get the male managers name, but he was there at 1:30 on Sept 3, 23. He was good at his job as well.

I recently bought a coffee table from this store and my experience was really bad. The salesman sold me the table at full price while there was a huge discount going on online. When I called back the store for a refund they said they would call me back, but they never did. After multiple followups, they finally refunded back the over-charge. Also they never apologized for overcharging me in the first place. Be careful and check the price online before buying products in-store. Most of the prices displayed in the store is not in sync with their online prices. I gave two stars because the product was good, and they did eventually refund the money but I feel cheated.

I got everything I wanted for my living room, and many of the items were on clearance sale for display items! After having a bit of trouble initially finding a salesperson that seemed eager to help, Lorna approached us and helped me find everything I needed in the Color I was looking for. It was a joy to buy from Ashley. It has been a discouraging day going to several other stores, with my teen, trying to find things for a new bedroom. Anahi helped us find some great pieces. She searched other stores, helped us match wood colors, and gave my daughter graph paper to draw out her room. She is so kind! Ashley has beautiful furniture with excellent customer service!

Went to this store with my girlfriend and was planning on using the gift cards she received from them after purchasing over several thousand dollars worth of furniture. The extremely rude store manager butted in while we were checking out saying their prices had already been lowered and they weren’t going to honor our cards. He wasn’t able to offer a reasonable explanation or date as to when this supposedly took effect. We were told to call customer service and left buying nothing.

I purchased a mattress last weekend. John was friendly and helpful and provided me options that were within my budget.

Nice store, but our sales rep(Lorna scott) was a little distracted, she kept walking away and telling us she had low bars on her computer, it took way longer to check out then it needed to. When we found art, we wanted no one to find a price. Instead, we were told that they would found out a couple of days later. Was very disappointed in the service at this store. They also don't let you purchase floor models like other furniture stores.

Over priced furniture and bad sales techniques be careful when you sign paperwork if they say your just making a reservation your not. You will be charged when you recieve the Ashley credit card they make you get because they don't accept payments at the store. I canceled my reserved item and they canceled the chair I wanted. You just lost a customer for life Ashley furniture.

I recently wanted to buy a reclining chair for my birthday and when I entered the store I saw a salesmen who was very friendly and was very helpful on were to locate the certain reclining chairs which I was looking for. Had the best on line reviews so visited them first. My needs were very specific to fit in a small bedroom, with help I found what I needed/wanted. It was disappointing that some of my first choices required assembly after delivery. I would not hesitate to return.

Wood is coming off the night stands. Last time I will buy furniture from them. There are better places to shop with good customer service and better quality furniture.

Went to Ashley San Marcos to buy a bed we'd seen online for my parents (in their 70s). The sales person showed us the nearest model available which seemed great and told us that it would be delivered in two days. 6 days of sleeping on inflatable mattresses later, we get a completely different bed delivered. After we construct it ourselves, we find that it requires a box spring, which was never part of the original deal. It's completely unusable without the box spring, so the next day we go back to the store & speak with the store manager. He wanders off to do something & a few minutes later we go looking for him - he's chatting with a colleague and another customer service agent has to help us while the manager finishes his conversation. He is very apologetic and promises us that someone will come to pick up the old bed, and deliver and assemble the correct bed for free. Two more days of inflatable mattresses later, a new bed is delivered and the driver tells me that assembly is $80 extra, and that Ashley never discussed assembly with him. TL; DR: They promised a whole load of stuff, delivered the wrong stuff, wasted our time, and wouldn't help us put it together.

Absolutely no, I bought a new sofa and dining table....yet on arrival I got a dirty oily black used sofa and a dining table yet not the one I ordered, absolutely disgusting, shame on you Ashley, when try returning had to call over 6 time for them to even help out, never ever again.

The salesperson was okay, most of the furniture of good quality, but a dining room set was delivered with a damaged table top and all five chairs had factory defects. When we attempted to get replacements we were told that because we didn’t inform them of the defects within three days after delivery (like many other people, we lead very busy lives), there was nothing they could do for us. We were then directed to the useless warranty company for which we paid several hundred dollars, who said essentially the same thing. Even though the selection at Ashley’s is great, and much of the furniture of good quality, we will NEVER return due to their very poor, actually nonexistent, service after-the-sale. If you’re thinking about shopping at Ashley’s, just don’t. If you ever have a problem after the sale, you’ll be out of luck, and certainly don’t purchase their so-called “protection plan.”

I went to Ashly twice. The first time i felt welcomed However, i purchased an office table and i asked the salesperson if its customer installation, build it by yourself, as I always destroy self-build things. And they said no the crew will install it for you if you want. I said yes sure paid for the installation fee. Then when the product comes in. The crew said its a customer build which i had to argue with the rude customer service. The funny part the instruction catalog that should comes with table is missing 😤

I am thrilled with my purchase of a bed, mattress, 2 bed stands and 2 lamps !! Mila was my sales person and she was knowledgeable, patient and pleasant. I was impressed with the quality of their furniture. Beveled edges and texture of the wood are noticeable. Mila was helpful in finding the perfect lamps for me. It all fits perfectly and I couldn't be happier. I recommend Ashley furniture.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Me and the wife have bought furniture from them before. Decided to upgrade our room and bought a new bed set from them and had it delivered. It was not the same as setup in store, big gaps in furniture. Terrible quality. Called corporate office and they were great. Got everything approved and setup for pickup to be returned. The store for whatever reason calls me some person named Christina and says her manager told him that we can’t do a deselect or refund they won’t approve it. I called corporate and they state they can’t make that choice but I do need to go into the store to get my refund. I go today and this so called manager Jeremy is there and won’t process my refund, claims even though he’s a manager he won’t do it. I had to call corporate while there and they told me to leave the store and they’ll process my refund for me. They said they have had multiple complaints about this store. Don’t buy from this company. We went to living spaces and had a great experience and great service.

Junk! I purchased $4,000 bedroom set when they delivered it and next day it broke. I went to look to see what was wrong with it it had already had been repaired.I purchased a mattress for $1000 And 3 months later its sagging and they wont replace it. garbage!!!!!!

I 1000% recommend Ashley Furniture in San Marcos. Mr. Tommy Wood was extremely nice and very helpful . He was knowledgeable about all of the fabrics and styles. He helped us pick the most comfortable couch. The manager, Mr. Abdul was amazing as well. He helped save us almost $700. I’m very happy with their service and selection of couches.

The sales team is always good, knowledgeable and does their best. Unfortunately this does not take away from the fact that they never have what we are looking for, either in general or specific models they used to have but don't anymore because of supply issues. Additionally i think it's a bit too crowded, for you to juxtapose your living room or bedroom. Visual stimuli is pivotal for purchasing. Lastly pricing could be a bit better, the designs are not spectacular or premium enough for these prices.I have worked in manufacturing and toured dozens of factories in China that make furniture and finishings.

I had a disastrous experience with living spaces in Vista and needed to purchase another sofa and love seat elsewhere. I never purchased anything at Ashley before while browsing I see sanything that was exactly my style. However, Tommy provided top quality customer service and assistance. He listened, measured the furniture and inquired about the dimensions in my home and he was patient. I purchase the Hallenburg sectional in Fog. I purchase the furniture today Thursday and it will be delivered on Sunday. The managers Dave and Hakeem were also very nice. I will definitely recommend this store and the sales team. An absolute joke of a company. I would rate zero star if possible. Three times we had to reschedule our delivery because they either forgot to load it on the truck or some other reason. Nearly $800 for a dresser that has taken over a month to receive. Don’t order from Ashley if you can avoid it.

It is sad that I have to write this and I’m sure they don’t care. We have purchased furniture here before. We have been pleased because it was pretty clear. Buy and pay out of pocket. This time we went to buy a kids bedroom set. As always cash in hand. We sat on a mattress and needed a mattress. At first it was just “try it out” then came the pressure. Later we were convinced to open credit for a mattress and we were okay with it because we were getting a good deal on the bedroom set. Buyer beware! Check the fine print!!!! Somehow we ended up getting charged $10,000 when it was supposed to be much less than that. Two delivery fees. They charged my credit card and husbands credit card but it wasn’t supposed to be that much. We called , spoke to Ryan he said he would fix this for us. Then they just gave us the run around and just stopped trying to help us. We hate our mattress. They also said if we didn’t like it we can get a refund that didn’t happen. They gave us the run around during the time frame now it’s too late. Whatever. They lost a customer. And I make sure to tell everyone I know to go to Jerome’s. It’s too bad because the employee that always helped us John was a good guy. When we agreed to buy the mattress it felt like something sneaky was going on. Like “we got these fools”. It took about two hours to figure out the so called discounts and the split charging of the cards. AVOID GOING HERE!

Great service. Extremely great service. Fragile furniture. I bought a bedframe, dresser, and night stand set and the dresser broke (the drawer cracked and broke apart) in less than a year with EXTREMELY light use.. The delivery personal also put the furniture together poorly. They crossed threaded handles which ended up with them being crooked and loose. I'm not very content with the purchase, but I could have always dropped more money on better furniture. Manage your expectations accordingly.

I wanted to take a moment to say that my experience with this location was 10/5 stars. Josh was all around professional, helpful/respectfully, and extremely knowledgeable of his trade. All said and told if josh is helping you either upgrade your home or you’re just starting out, you’re in good hands!!!

Bought some great things here but if time is of the essence, like when you need to furnish a new place, this is NOT an ideal spot by any means. Fulfillment times range from 6 to 8 weeks and beyond for literally everything.

I walked in to get a pillow and a shelf. All I wanted to do was buy a pillow and a shelf and the experience took about an hour. Literally 30-45 minutes of me just sitting there while the salesmen clicked on the computer. I can’t even explain how it took so long. I’m actually angry about the experience. And to kick, the 100 dollar shelf didn’t even come with mountain hardware. I will never go to Ashley furniture ever again and I can’t recommend it in any manner.

Poor quality products with poor service. They show you the best piece of furniture in their showrooms and then deliver you one with poor quality. We bought a marble table from them. The table we received has a visible glue line that goes through one side of the table. But because it is manufactured this way, they don't warranty it and there is nothing you can do about it. I even contacted them within their 72 hour time limit with the complaint, they still don't do anything about it and say you can't return it because it's not a "defect". Their phone agents just follow a script they are given. Poor service, poor quality products.

I recently purchased 3 rooms of furniture from Ashley Furniture in San Marcos, Ca. What a pleasant experience. The person who assisted me, his name was Curtis, was so helpful, very friendly, let me take my time and never pushy or hurrying me along. Had great suggestions and assured me my order would be delivered on time, which it was. Delivery was amazing, quick and professional. All furniture perfect no damages. I had shopped at Ashley Furniture several years ago and still love the furniture I bought. I highly recommend Ashley Furniture, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Curtis!

The good: Hakim and Chriss were great to work with. Unfortunately, their glowing review will be overshadowed by the horrific delivery experience we had to deal with. The bad: The delivery team and distribution center made this the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had to endure. They failed to deliver our couch not once but twice resulting in us being without furniture for three weeks. The first time they didn’t even try to get the couch into our apartment, they assumed it wouldn’t fit and stopped at the bottom of our stairs telling us we’d need to pick something else out. We had done our due diligence and took our measurements ensuring it would fit. They refused to deliver the couch then noted in their system that WE refused delivery which we were informed of when we went back in to select a new couch. The second time, after confirming our delivery window by email and by phone, the drivers never came then proceeded to tell me it couldn’t be delivered because of a stain after calling support to find out what the issue was. There was no phone call, no email, no communication. We ended up cancelling our order entirely and taking our business to Bob’s Discount Furniture down the road.

Worse customer service, really bad experience ever, 😫 I bought a table set on May 6 (just to put in context on time) they broke the chairs upon installation; a "technician " come to my house to fix the problem, 5 days later. ( how do you fix the problem if the chairs are "wood" and they are broken from the part of the screw, well, easy right! 🤨 just put a bigger an longer screw, and that's exactly what they did) as soon as the next day of course it broke again, make the report and they took 26 days to get it approved, approved to get it replaced because was no fix anymore. I need it to be calling every week and nothing was taking care of, went to the store to get answers and nothing, "the regional manager" haven't approved it yet. By the time he approved it I wanted my money back, such a hustle!!! But the story doesn't end there, he approved right I got a new set yay!! Well .... no yay, it's Not perfect again same problem and make a report again and regional manager did not want to give me my money back or exchange for a different set, instead he want to send me a technician!! PS. Paid extra for insurance, delivery to make sure everything was good. I'm not rich I saved for this, and now is not worth a penny. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! On 04/02/22 we came into the store looking for a new tv stand and luckily we found one that we loved at an affordable price we went ahead with purchasing it but unfortunately they didn’t have any in stock so the soonest to get it delivered isn’t until 04/22/22 since we were in no rush we went ahead and got it. On Thursday the day before delivery I thought it was weird that I never received a delivery confirmation text or email I went out of my way and called who ever I spoke with told me delivery was scheduled for the 28th that on the 22nd is when they receive the order to their warehouse and on the 29th it would be delivered. I said ok a week not bad but I should’ve notice that was the first red flag… a day prior to the 29th same thing no text or email confirmation I called yet again and they told me delivery is scheduled for 05/03/22 at this point I was frustrated because of the lack of communication and over the phone they don’t seem to help you. We decided to go in store and cancel out order we did this on 05/01/22 we said we don’t want it anymore we’re gunna be leaving out of town we don’t want the responsibility of it arriving when we’re not here etc they have us a case number told us we’d receive a refund within 3-7 business days. I gave them 10. On the 10th day we went in store yet again. Just for them to tell us they were unable to process the refund because I delivery was made on the 13th… we weren’t here on the 13th we were in a different state from the 11-15… and they now want to tell us that there was a delivery and we have no knowledge of it ! It’s been days since we last went in and we still haven’t received a refund! I’m beyond upset I never expected something like this to happen to us. I wish I could give them no stars honestly they made my experience here horrible. I don’t recommend shopping here if you had a good experience here then great but for me it took a turn that I never expected it to.

Sales lady was too pushy and followed me around the store the whole time. She had an old phone number in the system for me but assured me she would change it for delivery call. She never did and I never got a call. I had to follow-up...

If I could give zero stars, I would. Don't make our mistake and let sales swipe your credit card before asking if your item is backordered. Because they won't provide that information until after you pay - and it's non refundable. I was incredibly pregnant, just moved into town, without a dining table. And they failed to tell us it was backordered several months. Now, it's back ordered even more - until August (we purchased in early February). And we are still without our dining table with a little baby due any day now. I am so upset and disgusted by their sales team who not to mention are sloppy with paperwork and misspelled our names on the order form just so they could rush onto the next customer. I am in so much pain from standing and eating pregnant...I can't stand it.

I bought furniture there and then called in to cancel the order because it was on back order for 12 weeks and I found what I wanted at another store. I called in to cancel the order which took forever being stuck on hold and they said they would process my refund. I then called back 2 weeks later to find out why I hadn't received my refund and they said they don't do that when you cancel the order. They either need to set up a case file and process it which will take 2 more weeks or you have to go back into the store and swipe your card and get your refund that way. They never told me that when I called to cancel my order. This is terrible customer service that they don't process your refund on your credit card as soon as you cancel the item. No one ever called me back or followed up. I would not buy anything from this store unless you are sure you will not be returning it.

I ordered a nightstand and the delivery was a nightmare. On numerous occasions the delivery person told me they were out the front only to discover they had somehow gone to the wrong suburb. After hrs of being on the phone negotiating that they still deliver the item they ask me to meet them at a local gas station to pick up the bedside table even though I had paid for a delivery. 6 hrs after the delivery time it finally arrived. The bedside was missing parts to which I still haven’t received. Customer service contacted me days later and offered me a $100 gift voucher which also never arrived. I went into the store and was given the gift voucher, then proceeded with another sale only to find out it can’t be used during their “sales” and only when the product is at RRP however, I’ve been unable to find a date when they actually don’t have products on “sale” and it would appear that the sales are always on and rather this is just a sales tactic they use to get customers in thus also rendering gift vouchers essentially unusable.

Worst experience I have ever had at any establishment. This was the Ashley on Miramar Rd. The salesman that helped us was extremely rude and called us cheap all for just not wanting to purchase a mattress with a bed set. We had full intentions on purchasing multiple furniture pieces for our new place but after explaining that I was pregnant (then he said well if you are….you’re gonna hate the one you have) we did not want to purchase a new mattress we got called cheap and that we could potentially just by the frame but we wouldn’t get it for several months and he threw his hands up in the air like he couldn’t help us. I’ve never walked out of a place so fast in my life.

I visited many furniture stores because I have water damage in my house. I had to replace my entire house. I went to Ashley’s on Mira mar Rd in San Diego. I was greeted by a wonderful salesman Jimmy. He was extremely patient and helpful when I needed assistance. He worked with his manager, Alex whose customer service was exceptional. I bought 3 bedrooms sets, desk, rugs, bar stools, coffee tables, 4 mattresses and a beautiful living set. The prices and quality of their furniture is the best. I was so happy the way my house turned out because of Ashley’s. I can’t express my gratitude to both of these employees who went above and beyond to make sure I felt confident in my purchase. This was a hard time for me to buy a whole house of furniture at once and they offered suggestions and provided exceptional customer service. Another factor was the majority of the items were in stocked and delivered in a timely manner. Go check out Ashley’s you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Jimmy and Alex !!

Run away from this store. The initial visit to this store seems okay. BUT arranging for a delivery and actually being delivered it’s quite a nightmare!! Save your piece of mind and Shop elsewhere, trust me you will be so annoyed when it’s all over, it’s not worth it.

We shopped last weekend at the San Marcos Ashleys furniture store. We were looking for a new Dining room set. We met Christopher, a fine young man who showed us around and answered questions we had. We noticed that he had a good knowledge of his products and if he was uncertain of something, he found someone with the answer. He was not intimidating or “in a hurry to sell” which we found refreshing, even showing some humility, a “good pick” as a salesman. After my previous short first visit, this time we purchased a power loveseat, a dining room set and a decor pillow. The price was very low, the furniture was delivered with “white glove-style” service 4 days later, and a minor adjustment that was found needing addressing was fixed the next day by one of their techs. All 100% effort, all nice people to deal with. We will be back!

This is my initial review: (Initial rating was three stars) Went here because an order was messed up and was hoping to fix it. [I was told] Nothing they can do about it in the store. Not a real fan of Ashley right now but nothing wrong with this location. Update: Even though they delivered the wrong colored couch they are saying we only have seven days to change our mind. Didn't change my mind. The wrong couch was delivered. Now we're having a hell of a time getting a credit or the correct couch. Update to rating, one star Update just called the store and it turns out they aren't crediting us just giving us in-store credit. Of course the sale price we purchased the coach at is no longer available so I guess the bait and switch worked for them. Update: They are honoring the original price and no "credit memo" (their words on the original visit) will be necessary, just a swap. However we now need to go in to sign paperwork about the new delivery date. Not sure why this can't be performed over the phone but here we are. This could so easily be solved if they would just call with a date and time but we are always left with the ball in our court. No possible update to rating, one star. UPDATE: They did resolve this to our satisfaction. Upping to 2 stars.

Super aggressive and obnoxious sales people. The guy was following me around, talking about me, making obnoxious jokes. I asked him to please let me browse and he wouldn't leave us alone. It would be one thing if he was helpful, but he was talking to us like we were didn't understand the definition of the word "couch," so we ended up running out of the store.

Just wanted to take a moment to send a big thank you to Kyle and Dave for the amount of time they took educating my girlfriend and I through the entire purchase process…we ask a lot of questions! They stayed late after hours to provide recommendations and address our concerns. That’s what I appreciated the most. On top of that, they discounted the price. Went in to buy 4 chairs, the out the door price for the chairs I got from the sales rep was over $800 dollars (including shipping). We were shocked, these chairs didn’t look like 150-200 dollars a chair type of quality. Sure enough, my wife goes on the Ashley’s website saw the same exact chairs on the website, total price (free shipping on the website) was around $350 for 4 chairs, the Ashley website sold them for 150 for a pair, while this store was trying to sell them for a 150 for one chair each. have no idea how they’re allowed to markup the price like this, glad we checked the website price.

Robert was awesome! Showed me several different designs and help me find what I wanted. Made me laugh the whole time and made the experience of buying new furniture very fun.

Macy D. is the best. Had a great experience shopping and purchasing some new living room furniture last weekend. Macy really helped us get what we wanted and was patient with us no matter how many questions we asked. At the end of the day we felt like we got a great deal and are really appreciative of Macy and her manager for making it all work out.

Furniture is okay for the price but waste your money on the warranty only covers spot cleaning. The salesman will tell you whatever he has to to sell it but they only cover spot cleaning through a third party. Waste of money.

London Alyssa was our sales representative. She helped us tremendously and was driven toward making us happy and satisfied with our purchase. We purchased two mattress sets and a bed frame for a fantastic deal. A characteristic that stood out about London is her genuine personality and desire to help. She was highly attentive to our specifications, listened to us, and was very responsive and engaged. If you want a wonderful experience full of superb customer service, ask for London!

They have the worst mattress. Mine didn't even last 5 yrs. When I called the insurance that THEY insisted I buy, the insurance said it doesn't cover mattress. Ugh...what a joke. Never will I buy from Ashley. Worst product and costumer service ever!

The sales experience was great and Robert was amazing. The delivery was perfect and they were very professional. When I opened and assembled the furniture one part on the credenza was broken the barn door rail had snapped. I have tried calling the customer service line a few times and was on hold over 45min each time with no option to leave a message for a call back. I called the store and they said there was nothing they could do and to continue to call. In an age where customer service is everything the follow through is very disappointing!!! Let’s see if I ever am able to get through to them! Not sure if I will buy from them again. When I talked up my sales rep he advised that a lot of people were complaining about the same thing.

The furniture selection was pretty nice, but the salesman followed us around the whole time and kept trying to pitch the products. I understand that sales is a difficult profession, but it was disconcerting. Also: we found the same thing we were looking for significantly cheaper on their own website. Some customers need breathing room and unfortunately we were those customers today.

I went to a small handful of furniture stores in search of a new sofa. I had a particular style, size, and color in mind. When I arrived at the Ashley Home Store it was nice to see the "presentation" of the inventory. There was obviously more care taken to merchandise the collections than the other stores I went to. I happened to have a conversation with the sales representative, Kohl Schlunegger, who was friendly, informative, and professional. I would eventually order the color, style, and size I had been looking for. Kohl made an additional inquiry on my behalf that resulted in my getting an extended protection package along with my sofa. I was originally informed that the piece I wanted to purchase was in stock. I placed a phone order with Kohl to reserve the piece until I could get to the store the next morning to make the payment and schedule delivery. Unfortunately, that didn't work out. The piece I wanted was now scheduled for arrival mid-November. I made paid for the piece in full and will now hope the mid-November date holds true. Through it all, everyone handled the transaction professionally.

**2021 Update** Still stay alway from this store, especially if you’re a service member. Go somewhere else. They use very deceptive third party financial institutions (Synchrony) as well as deceptive sales tactics. Definitely a learning experience, so glad I have nothing to do with this company anymore. Customer satisfaction or accountability when their wrong is something you’ll never hear from them. . On July 14 2019 I purchased a "Ashleys" mattress set and "ASHLEYS BRAND MATRESS" from Ashley's furniture in San Marco's CA. I tried "exchanging" the mattress after my fiance was having serious back pains from it. Prior to purchase I recognized Ashley's has a "Mattress Happiness Sleep Guarantee" which would give the customer up to 30 nights to exchange if need be. The sales rep never informed us that there was a no exchange or refund policy on the mattresses or that they wouldn't abide by their own policy. So we stuck with a 1000.00 dollars mattress. The store manager DID NOT CARE about resolving the issue. Once they have your money, the smiles go away. Their customer service sucks and they have VERY DECEPTIVE return policies on their mattresses. I have contacted the Better Buisness Bureau in CA. NOT GOOD BUISNESS PRACTICE. I will never shop there again. NOBODY called or emailed for several days. I tried to call after a week had past and couldn't get through to their phone lines. Furious, I nearly went to the store to complain. Finally I got through before wasting the gas. Online chat was useless. They could not answer my simple question and responded by being rude...online. SO be prepared for unprofessional service once they have your money and you are waiting for delivery. I had no problem with an extended wait time. I had a problem with the lack of communication!

One of the 2 bar stools was fine other than it's a little lopsided. The other came with defective parts...the middle piece did not have any threading on one end so did not tighten properly. And then one of the screws for the base did not fit. So now I have to wait another week and a half to supposedly get replacement parts. Disappointed overall in the purchase tbh.

Horrible place horrible people. We bought a bed from them very expensive. And the completely send us a diffrent bed. When we went to ask for what we paid for they said they "may or may not remember" the service manager got in out face aggressively and said they could do nothing no Exchange no return . This happened an hour after the bed was delivered. Don't shop at ashley please do your self a favor and look for a professional place of business. Not with these greedy sales men.

If I could leave NO stars I would! After looking at all the furniture stores in our area we found exactly what we wanted at the San Marcos Ashley Furniture store. We were so happy when we heard the items would be delivered in a week and we made arrangements to have our old furniture picked up and given away. Fortunately we held off having the old stuff carted off until right before the new stuff was going to be delivered because I got a call on Sunday afternoon that the delivery would be delayed until October 31! I called the number that the message was called from to find out exactly which piece/pieces were going to be delayed since the girl didn't identify them, and found out that the whole thing may not come until MAY 2022! And to make matters WAY WORSE, Ashley had already CHARGED our credit card for the entire amount! Who does that? I called their customer care line which is a joke. All they could do was apologize. They had no one that my complaint could be escalated to. What kind of organization is this? I understand that the "supply chain" for furniture has been disrupted by COVID, but from the start, they should have been honest about when we would get our furniture. I even got an email letting me know that it was being delivered this Wednesday and "how to prepare" for the delivery people to make it as easy as possible. Worst customer service EVER!!!!!

A very great service, I bought beds for my children said they had them available by July, when the order arrived I arrived they came out that they did not bring full beds that had been damaged that they had to reorder the damaged parts and it is the date that they do not yet arrive, call and now they leave that until October 28 the parts of the one bed is missing the drawers and the other bed nadamas is missing the head of the bed but I called the store to help me send me that part but there is no result, I went to the store to change the bed for another to have it before my son entered school so that he is not sleeping on the hard floor and it turned out that I had to pay all for them to send it to me and to remove the bed bill to cancel that I have to wait until they call me to know when they will come to pick up the parts that left me incomplete from my son's bed is not fair to fool you when they tell you they have available the things you want to buy nothing more for they sell and come out after they couldn't carry the whole order and other things things get damaged or radas but if to collect the invoice if they are on time to send the account then I hope the store manager will see this message and resolve my problem because they always do that with customers if I don't look for another way to help me .

If I could give them 1 star I would. WOW is Ashley furniture HORRIFIC. Where do I start? We ordered a couch and was told they would communicate when they will deliver etc. We set up a date , received multiple confirmations leading up ( 5 day , 3 day and 2 day before). We even got a TEXT MESSAGE CONFIRMING FROM WHOM WE PURCHASED IT FROM. Day before I never received a phone call to give me a time slot. So I decided to call and was told they confirmed and changed the date to Tuesday this week... I'm sorry what? NO ONE EVER TOLD ME THIS. No one communicated anything the first person I talked with (call center) was zero help. My husband called and got further was apologized to was told they will open a ticket for a refund. Okay fine we got a new date , pretty annoyed and mad since we scheduled our work around ALL OF THIS. Now fast forward to Tuesday, never received a call day before for arrival time. I had to go online and figure it out. Sow a delivery time between 3-7. We got a phone call from YOUR SERVICE REP. at 6:00 saying the truck had issues and would it be okay to deliver around 7-9, reluctantly we agreed because the lack of customer care is real and we just are tired of sitting on the floor. 10:00 ROLLS AROUND AND STILL NOTHING, we attempted to call and communicate with the number provided and NO ONE WAS TRYING TO TALK TO US. I was able to see they were on stop 6 ... We are stop 10. WOW ASHLEY FURNITURE, YOU OBVIOUSLY DO NOT CARE. Now we are being punished by you all because we did not want to accept a delivery at MIDNIGHT. My husband has been attempting to contact you all about this just to be told because we weren't available at MIDNIGHT we can't receive our couch until a other week.

We all know the markups are huge. But it is what it is. My complaint is company policy to not see floor models. I’m disabled and my 10 year old Ashley recliner died. I went to them to find another. Because of my disability I can’t get up from a silty overstuffed recliner. I found a perfect one but it’s out of stock for 8 weeks. I asked to buy the ccloir model even at full price. They refused. At full price, $1200 they would have made over $1000 pure profit. But they wouldn’t sell. Dave the store manager said he couldn’t. Well I think the policy should be changed to allow it if the price makes sense. Disabled people have a lot of challenges and the recliner was not central to selling the rest of the room suite.

This place is good and people are awesome as well as furniture quality.

London from the start of the conversation to the closing of the deal was absolutely amazing. Not only did we get what we wanted but she was never pushy or frustrated when we took out certain items to make the end cost better. That was the best Ashley’s experience we have ever had, thanks to London!

Robert has been great!! He was so patient with my husband and I cuz we just could not agree . But he was able to direct us and such a wonderful way that we ended up finding just what we wanted. All the staff is friendly and helpful as well. Definitely a great store to shop in.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE. Ashely Furniture has a NO REFUND policy EVEN if they deliver you broken furniture. I know because it happened to me. I ordered a coffee table and it arrived cracked and off center. When I called asking to return it the day after it was delivered, they told me they have a no refund policy. They told me I have to wait for a tech to come diagnose it 15 days later. I told him I just want my money back but they do not do refunds. I reported them to the BBB and my next stop is the Attorney General.

I knew what I wanted from looking at the online store. Just wanted to go in and actually see it in person. The sales woman was knowledgeable and knew right where the sofa was. We looked it over and confirmed our decision. Within 10 minutes, it was purchased and delivery was set. Smooth, easy process.

Bought a set through Ivan in the San Marcos store and when it delayed and they kept lying about a broken down truck over and over and pushing the delivery back, they said they would refund our delivery fee to get us to keep our order so I wouldn’t cancel. But here we are weeks later no refund and they just ignore my request for the refund THEY SAID THEY WOULD GIVE! If you want to be lied to and managers who don’t uphold what they say, then shop here… otherwise go somewhere else!

My wife and I purchased furniture and scheduled delivery a month in advance and confirmed our delivery the day prior. When the delivery personnel arrived they only brought a small portion of the furniture we had purchased and explained that they had canceled the rest of our order because 1 piece was on back order. After spending over an hour on the phone with their customer service team, I was told that they would be unable to correct the issue and informed me that the store manager would be able to help with the mistake and offer adequate compensation for my time. The store manager did get me rescheduled but stated that they would only remove delivery charges as the compensation for my wasted time. I would have expected delivery charges to be dropped regardless because they wasted my day, but now I'm expected to take a day off of work to receive furniture that should have been delivered today. If you want a company that follows through with their promises and respects your time as a paying customer, look elsewhere. Khol, my sales rep is a great guy. Ashley's customer care needs a lot of work.

We rearranged furniture, brought over pillows, tried every couch and chair they had. We ended up purchasing a couch, chairs, coffee table and end tables, London made a stressful day feel effortless. STAY AWAY!!!!! spent over 7k on furniture for it to all be delivered damaged. One of the dining room chairs was busted on both sides of the seat, Ashley attempted to hide the issue by gluing it and covering it with paint, needless to say after a couple uses the glue didnt hold and showed both cracks. The bedroom dresser has misaligned drawers from being installed incorrectly, and the chest is damaged at the bottom which wasn't noticeable at first because guess what, again they tried to cover the damage with glue and paint. We have been on the phone for over 2 weeks trying to get them to pick up their damaged goods and give us a refund. Just simply pathetic!!!! Do yourself a favor and shop at one of the other furniture places in the area.

First off, Skip this Ashley Store and go right down the street to Mor Furniture. Ashley will mark up their furniture so high and then say, I'm giving you 50% off so it looks like its a deal, it's not! Mor furniture has great quality furniture at straight forward pricing. I wish I would of known that prior to making a $7000 purchase from Ashley. First off, I was not given the 50% discount advertised and had to go back to be issued the correct pricing. Which did not happen and was never refunded for the overpayment. Secondly, I had furniture delivered damaged and not put together correctly that I'm still waiting on to be picked up and refunded. Over two weeks has gone by with multiple calls and emails to the company with no resolution. Will never shop there again.

Well we love Ashley's Furniture store.. However this time I made sure to a ask the sales lady if the cushions were good and stable. She assured me that they were very high quality and would have no wrinkles or dips. Sorry but within a week they already did. Ashley's is good at attempting to resolve thus but it has been 2 months and frankly I believe they should let get a better sofa set. It cost $4500.00.

Go to a different Ashley if you have to buy anything. Once you pay them it is impossible to get them on the phone. They abandon you once you give them your money. Very unprofessional.

Quality furniture and great service when visiting their store. After that communication is questionable. I received my in store purchase as scheduled except for one item. When I called their support line for orders already purchased, and explained to them that I only received one of my Bar Stools they immediately noticed the mistake and scheduled a new delivery for my missing item. When they did not show up with my missing item, I contacted the support line again and they said the reason it was not delivered was I did not pay for it, but my invoice shows a count of two, but the quantity I paid for is one. So I called the store and asked for my sales rep and she was busy and they would call me. 24 hours goes by and no call. I called again and spoke to a Supervisor. I again explained the situation and was told that I need to purchase the item and that she would have my sales rep call me to do a phone order, which they cannot do in the store or I could drive out to the store and make a in store purchase. Now I am just waiting for a call. The miscommunication and feeling that they already got a big sale and are in no rush to assist me leaves me with a not so good feeling. This is why they get only two stars. When you make your purchase double check your invoice before you leave the store and make sure you understand the way they list their items as a count of 2 does not mean you purchased 2.

Excellent environment to purchase our furniture - no pressure, just excellent service. Kyle was the best! Second time purchasing in a week.

The store experience was good and pleasant. We bought a dining room set. The nightmare started with the delivery. We got a damaged table and 4 out of 6 damaged bar stools. We were assured by the delivery guys and customer service that after a technician saw it, we would get replacement items with no problem or we could refuse the delivery. Since we had already gotten rid of our old dinning room, we decided to trust them and kept the damaged furniture. Long story short. BIG MISTAKE. Don't ever keep damaged furniture even if it's minor. It has been a nightmare since then. Even after the technician came and saw the damage, he supposedly ordered a new table and 2 new bar stools and replacement parts for the 3rd and 4th. He said we would get a call in 48hrs. Never happened. We only got replacement parts in the mail that we could replace ourselves or have a technician come out to install them. We would have bought used fixer uppers if we wanted to be changing parts! After calling customer service many times and getting nowhere,, they finally saw that indeed we were owed a new undamaged table and also scheduleda technicianto come replace the parts for us. But bar stools would be repaired and not replaced. Terrible, we paid for new undamaged furniture! They delivered a new table top but it had damage also! So we refused it. Today we are getting a new table top(hopefully with no damage!)delivered and next week a technician is coming to "fix" the bar stools with the parts they sent in the mail. Save yourself the headaches, refuse anything damaged even if it's minor. They have the worse customer service I have ever dealt with. I literally stayed on the phone for 2hrs and 15min and went through 4 people before finally getting anywhere on one of my many calls. You would think that when you buy new furniture it shouldn't be this difficult. You should just get what you paid for-undamaged new furniture. The store will not be able to help you once you have your order. They assume no responsibility. They only direct you back to customer service or maybe foward an email to them from you. And they have a 0 return policy even if you got damaged furniture. They will only "work with you" to replace it and that can take months and alot of hassle. We bought this back in April and here we are end of June still having issues. Wow! I will never go back to any Ashley's! I wish I could just return all their furniture and never deal with them again but of course-they do NO RETURNS ever for any reason, even if they are at fault and even if they deliver damaged furniture! You are stuck with what you buy, so beware.

Extremely slow in delivering furniture. Dissatisfied & disappointed

Salesman knew nothing about the furniture, walked the entire store looking for something they had on sale on their website. Then proceeded to tell me it was $1700 but they had a half off sale.. I mention it’s on the website for $769. He told me they did price match, I mentioned the sale price was on their website. He then let me know the website and store are different companies….. huh? Also added their protection plan for $100 without even asking. They also charge $120 delivery fee, I said I came to the store so I could pick it up. He stated I would need to drive to the whse (90 miles away) to pick it up. If I’d known that I would have just bought online with out the nonsense.

Our experience with Ashley Homestore San Marcos was not pleasant. While the furniture we bought is very nice and delivery was prompt, we had a mix up on delivery day of an item needed. When we tried to contact customer service and the store to get the new item replaced they would not answer the phone. We had to go into the store personally twice, which we were told someone would call. They wouldn’t call us back. Because of an error made by the store we went without a bed for 5 days trying to get a replacement piece. Customer service was lacking greatly. Doubtful if I ever shop there again.

Very helpful staff and floor manager. Great discount in effect plus we got additional 10 % for military. Very good about delivery. My only ? is that I understood that we were offered free delivery and protection but that wasn't the case.

We had a pretty bad experience at Ashley and we recommend to everyone not to shop there. We had three issues, for which Ashley should be ashamed of themeselves: 1. The furniture was delayed approximately 1 month - with the pandemic supply situation this is understandable, but what is not acceptable is Ashley failing to call us to inform us of the delay. There is no excuse for them not emailing or calling us, we had to call them and stay on hold to learn of the delay 2. The furniture we bought was missing two parts. Again, this happens and I understand this. What is not acceptable is that not a single Ashley employee or contractor apologized for their mistake on the day of delivery. We are waiting for the missing pieces thus from the two bad experiences we already had, I am not hopeful about getting them smoothly 3. For the mistakes Ashley made, they offered no compensation for their problems that affected us. Not suprising for a company whos employees don't admit their mistakes or apologize for them. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere - we purchased from the San Marcos store, I would avoid this company

Delivery driver dropped my chest drawer! And my bed frame was damaged! First time ordering from Ashley’s and pretty disappointed!!!!

Our attendant was very helpful and also left us alone enough to browse around and see what we liked. The deal was too good to pass up! Very good quality furniture, we are very pleased with our purchases and the process.

It was my first time buying furniture and Curtis and Tina were very helpful. They understood I needed to take my time to find the right furniture for my home and that meant going back a few times. They were always there when I needed them and did not hover over us like other furniture stores. I let Tina know I will be coming back during winter.

7/6/21 Update: Ashley Furniture FORGOT to issue my refund so they have been holding hundreds of dollars with no intention of returning it till I had to call 3 times to find out where my money was. No customer service from this disgraceful company. 👎 Stay away from Ashley Furniture 👎 Their furniture is low quality and damaged on arrival multilpe times. Waste of time buying from Ashely Furniture. I ordered a bedroom set from Ashely Furniture. First delivery had a marked up headboard, damage to the dresser, and dent in the framing of the mirror. It was a joke that this would even be attempted to be delivered. We refused everything. They didn't seem to care that we had to refuse everything from our first shipment. We scheduled the second delivery and more damaged items showed up a week later. Stains on the headboard, damage to nightstands. They even sent the SAME damaged dresser that I refused the first time. They made no attempt to fix the dresser and sent the same damaged dresser the second time around. Customer service was useless recommending we have a technician clean and fix our brand new furniture. Brand new furniture should not need fixing day one. Manager said he would "send an email to customer service" after second damaged delivery. That was the best they could do to help a customer who had two rounds of very damaged terrible furniture. Do not shop at Ashley Furniture.

After purchasing pieces for multiple rooms with the warranty coverage we attempted to file a claim for repair. We learned that the first claim was closed by GBS (endorsed warranty repair company that Ashley utilizes) when we contacted them for a status check. We were told that they had a computer issue that closed the claim and we needed to refile the claim. While we were refiling the claim the operator from GBS attempted to utilize every reason on why it wouldn't have been covered (FYI 30 days after we noticed the issue is a reason why it can be voided, they tried to go 30 days from when I filed my claim) Long story short they are going to send a technician out to check on the possibility of a repair. I contacted Ashley Home Store to let them know about what the experience and they assured me that wasn't the normal experience and said the damages should be covered under the warranty and apologized for the experience. Stated they would check if one of their technicians could make it out. The operator returned and asked me to call back to their warranty company, "in hopes that I get a different operator", seriously?! Do not purchase the warranty plan you are better off just paying for repairs as you go. Customer service is horrible after making your purchase. UPDATE 7/16/2021 They came to repair the de-lamination to table top and decided coloring it with a marker rather than repair under the warranty plan we purchased. At least make sure it matches or is blended. DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR WARRANTY PLAN, you are better off finding a local repair person who knows how to repair furniture.

Dave Leeman and Curtis did a phenomenal job today assisting me with my purchase. They were very knowledgeable about the product as well as courteous and helpful throughout the entire process start to finish. I highly recommend Ashley furniture in San Marcos and will be coming back for all of my furnishings.

Charged a higher price by $150 in store vs. Online. I came back to store and they credited the difference without question. I feel like you need to look online first before playing "let's make a deal!"

Never misjudge sales skills by the age of the sales rep. My wife and I stopped by Ashley to look at their selection of oversized chairs. The sales rep that greeted us was young (I assumed a freshman in college). His name is Kohl and he proved to be knowledgeable above his years. We felt we had his full attention without being pressured. I returned the next day to settle the account The quality of the items exceeded our expectations, but the presentation of the sales person helped us TRUST ASHLEY. I commended Kohl to his manager and predicted he would be the manager in five years. Ashley great product, and if Kohl is a representative of your sales force GREAT PEOPLE

We had ordered a bedroom set but it was raking longer then we wanted to arrive. We went to the store to cancel our order but met Hakim. He was a great assistance to us and made us feel like he would take care of us and fix the situation. Hakim went over and above and was able to contact customer service and get us a finalized date of delivery that we were very happy with. Great job Hakim

I went with my sister who was looking for furniture to replace the ones in her mobile home clubhouse. Then we were approached by Kyle who was very informative about options. I then started thinking about replacing my furniture. My sister and I went out to lunch then returned and I purchased a chase, couch and loveseat. Kyle was very nice and pleasant to work with. Everything was half price so I’m going to return later and get a rug and possible picture!!

Way to much paperwork to fill out after buying there and having all info in system You still have to fill everything out multiple times on multiple forms while in the store seems like they really need to update streamline everything

Would not recommend. Was told we had 30 days to exchange a mattress. After two weeks went in to do a exchange and was going to spend much more on a very expensive upgrade. Was then told no and it took two weeks to get a straight answer. Spend your money somewhere else!

I ordered a table in February. The technician that we paid from Ashley broke it while putting it together. I have literally called them 10 times and I still have table parts on my dining room floor. I have opened 2 cases with national customer service but nothing has been done. I am out $1000. Buyers beware.

I found the perfect King sized bed at Ashley. The Bellvern bed is so gorgeous and not too long which was needed for my new smaller bedroom. The price was great and it will be delivered in only 5 days. Christopher was a great sales person and very nice and efficient. When budget allows, I will return!

My sister has bought a whole entire house of furniture from Ashley that is beautiful and durable and the people who have delivered and put it together have been wonderful. Today I bought my first couch and loveseat that was just what I wanted, not for anyone else. The salespeople were great and when I have it in my house, I'll leave another review.

Absolutely phenomenal experience here! I had went to a few other furniture stores prior to coming in and I wish I would have just started here. Akeem and Khol were absolutely amazing to work with! They both were super patient and not only helped the first time around but the second time when I had to come in to change my order as I messed up the measurements on the original purchase. If you are looking for furniture definitely go see them!

Terrible customer service. I recently bought a mattress from them and the one that they delivered to my house was drastically different in feel from the one I tested in store. They refuse to acknowledge that there is an issue and refuse to replace the mattress. Not to mention it took the better part of a week to track down anyone at the actual store. Will never shop at Ashley ever again. Don't do it!!!

I wish I could give them 0 stars with how I feel at this point. Ordered a $1200 sectional from the San Marcos store at the middle/end of November 2020, was assured by the salesman that it would arrive in 2 weeks. December 15th rolls around and nothing. Called and finally got someone on the phone and they said January 17 it would arrive. Doing my due diligence to make sure I'd be here for the delivery I called on January 15 just to confirm the time it would be delivered with the delivery date being 2 days away. I was told on the phone that my delivery was pushed back until the middle to the end of February. At that point it will have been 3 monthd since paying for a product I haven't received. All the while never once receiving a phone call email or text to tell me about the delays. It took me calling just to get any kind of correspondence. Not and ounce of remorse once they have your money. So now I've been sitting in my new apartment on the floor for over 2 months going on 3 with no couch. Tomorrow I'm going to the store to get my get a refund and voice my displeasure. Do not buy furniture from here. Your money is honestly better spent else where. I should've followed my mind and bought my couch from Bob's Discount Furniture. I would've actually received it in 2 weeks.

Furniture shopping was easy. Our sales associate, Cynthia, was very informative and pressure free.

I was surprised about the modern and diverse selection of this furniture store. We worked with Maci Dominic and she was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and also responsive to our needs. I liked that she kept track of the items we liked and emailed them to us so we would not forget. She also included my son as we searched for the furniture that would be for him which he truly appreciated. I also liked that the sales associate was with us for any possible questions but then also let us just wander and explore. Nice balance!

The San Marcos store is fine. . Friendly and helpful staff and large selection. Seems to be supply chain issues as deliveries are extended out.

Just visited Ashley’s Furniture today and Kohl assisted our family. I wish I could give more than five stars, Kohl was very patient, answered all my questions and never pushed! We were there for about 3 hours and Kohl was there for every step. I hate furniture shopping but Kohl made it effortless and such a positive experience. The manager also assisted us as well and was so kind and helpful. We will def go back for all our furniture needs and look forward to working with Kohl again.

If I could give a negative number of stars, I would. Ashley promised furniture delivery several times and date was pushed back over and over and over again - over 3 months. Finally cancelled the order because there's no way you can trust anything they say about delivery of products. Went into the store to get a refund and even the staff has given up. Don't bother, Go somewhere else if you actually need furniture.

Mu husband and I just bought a set of living room furniture at Ashley HomeStore in San Marcos, CA. Bravo, the sale associate who assisted us, as well as Dave, one of the managers, were very kind, professional, and helpful. We are very happy with the furniture we picked and the customer service we received. Thank you Bravo and Dave!

Like everyone is expressing the sales people are amazing but the delivery time is ridiculous and one of my pieces was delivered damaged took an additional month and then it was also damaged when it arrived and now I’m waiting on a tech to come out and fix it Scheduled yet another month out. The furniture itself is of so-so quality. I bought when it was on sale and I still think I paid too much. Needless to say I would not go back to Ashley and don’t recommend it.

The showroom is nice and very spacious, they have a good selection of furniture and different sets. They are also nice and helpful in person but impossible to reach by phone! We came to the store on a weekend looking for a chair. After looking at a few options we let the representative who was helping us know that we would place an order by phone later that same day since we needed to go back home to take measurements. The representative gave us his phone number. We’ve been calling that number every day since then and have left several voicemails since he doesn’t answer. He hasn’t returned our calls and it has already been 3 days. We also tried calling the store directly and placing the order with someone else but nobody ever picks up the phone! We are both working and can’t go to the store on a weekday so we will need to wait another week to go to the store to place the order. My other complaint is with the warehouse. It’s also impossible to reach them by phone! They literally never answer. Out of probably 20+ times that I called in 4 days, only one time someone picked up. Long story short, reaching them by phone is very-very hard! Prepare for having to call multiple times, and don’t expect them to call you back if you leave a voicemail.

Terrible delivery times and customer service lied to us. We bought a sofa, chair and ottoman on October 13th 2020. We were told delivery would be November 25th and expected our furniture for Thanksgiving. Then they said it would be delivered December 10th. They confirmed delivery by a text on December 7th, and on December 8th someone called and said it wouldn't be delivered. That person said the sofa was in the warehouse, the ottoman would arrive in a few days, and the chair would arrive on January 1st. We asked them to deliver the sofa as scheduled, we'd pick up the ottoman and we'd wait for the chair. The person said they would "put in a ticket" for that to happen. My husband called on December 14th and was told NONE of the items were in the warehouse, there was no ticket, and nothing could be delivered until January 7th. That support person took no responsibility for the lies my husband was given before but made excuses about the "automated system". So now we are sitting in lawn chairs in our living room over Christmas. Bottom line we may or may not get the furniture 86 DAYS after we ordered it IF they stick to their promises this time. 43 days later than it was supposed to be delivered. DO NOT BUY from these people if you want your furniture to arrive as promised or if you are expecting good customer service.

We went into Ashley HomeStore on Sunday with a specific couch in mind: the Monaghan sofa and loveseat. Sales Associate Christian Alcala greeted us at the entryway, and was attentive as we tested out our soon-to-be couch set. Christian offered us not only a deal we couldn't refuse, but also superb customer service. He was patient when we needed to run home to measure our dimensions, accessible by phone when we needed to speak with him, and he and Store Manager Dave Leeman worked to ensure we were happy with our purchase and our experience. I will recommend this Ashley HomeStore to family and friends, and will send them directly to Christian. This was an awesome experience, and we will be back!

I went into the San Marcos store to buy a dresser on Nov. 4, 2020. I still have not received it. It may or may not be delivered Dec. 2,2020. 1st order was damaged. 2nd order I did not receive phone message in time to respond. I could not call to confirm delivery. Customer service at its worst. What should have been a simple order has turned into a disaster.

Horrible. I ordered my furniture over 2 months ago. They rescheduled delivery 4 times already. It was scheduled for delivery today and they called the night before that it will be delayed another 2 weeks. I would have never bought it at Ashely if I knew it will be months to get delivery. NEVER AGAIN!!!

We got a great deal on a set of couches so 5 starrs on price but the experience is the typical outdated salesman approach. Do you really need salesmen hovering around your every move when buying furniture? Why is this the norm. Then when you make the purchase you have to sit with them for over an hour to work out the "contact." Why? I'm getting couches not signing a life insurance policy. Furniture sale practices are stuck in the past. Ashley's is no different. Decent prices though.

Don't ever go to Ashley furniture I bought furniture worth $4000. Back in June its November know and I still haven't received all my furniture. I try to call and no one returns my calls .. I will never ever ever shop there again ... I have never seen such horrible personal service in my life. Also the furniture is not the same as in there show room. I feel ripped off and hustled . Next time I will go to JEROME'S.....

The quality is good, and the showroom is great as well. But the delivery time and logistics including the response time and hassle when you have issues with your order is very difficult. It's been months since I ordered my furniture and a few pieces still are pending delivery, Covid-19? Maybe. And I still have issue with a pending exchange because one of the pieces is built wrong, after 6-7 weeks of delivery. So over all, there's definitely room to improve. Update: The delivery and customer service is one of the worst! after 2 months, I'm still waiting for a piece of furniture to be delivered. And still haven't received the exchange for one of the entertainment pier that was mistakenly delivered. When calling customer service it'll go to voice mail after 15 minutes of waiting. Don't waste your money and time with this Ashley.

On August 7, bought a sofa set. The delivery date was to be the 19th Sept. They called that day and said only the love seat was coming by 4:15pm. At 4:30 I called them because no delivery. They told me the Sofa was discontinued. Sorry!#? Right my wife and I cleaned and cleared the Family room, stayed home from 12pm to 4:30 pm for nothing. Waste of time. Called the store several times was on forever hold. Don't go there.

This is my second time coming to Ashley always have great associate very helpful took use straight to what we were looking for. I love Ashley.

Bobby helped to and even the store manager helped out while they where busy! It's hard to find a store where employees find and ask you sincerely how they can help and follow through. Although our buying experience was good, trying to work with the delivery people was a nightmare. They promised to send a small truck due our steep driveway but didn’t and after damaging the driveway the delivery men tried to hit us up for an additional charge for “set up” which involved placing a chair on the family room floor (no steps involved). I won’t be buying from them again.

We went in for the Labor Day sale and got exactly what we were looking for! Curtis, our salesman, was awesome! He helped us configure the couch that we needed for the space that we had available. Then on top of that we are going back to see him to buy a new mattress. Prices were great service was fabulous!

First time my experience shopping at Ashley for furnitures. First impression was good quality of merchandise and price on sale for Labor Day . I was enjoying walking around and see all different styles of furniture. I would recommend to all my friends . Second Experience that I don’t like is seller associated do pushy . Never introduce himself , and so rushed to closed account transaction . I do understand that he get a commission or else but the only thing I don’t like is never give me a time to think about to select and matching for my new home . First impression most came from friendly welcome but not him. I was very disappointed but. I need furniture for my new home . Other wise I would walked out and go somewhere else . Spending money over $3000 not only $100-$500 , you know ? No customer service attitude and not explain any . Only thing just go and closed transaction !!! Sorry to say it . Worst customer service. Have had ongoing issues since March with furniture that is less than a year old. No one answers the phone. No one responds. No one is allowed to give contact information to other departments or even for managers. No one is allowed to make decisions at the store front- yet they are advertised as independently owned and operated. Why have a store manger? No one follows up. I have had to show up to the store of purchase bc no one answers the phone. I've been hung up on by call center agents who don't know how to answer the case. Poor quality , poor customer service Ashley is a joke. I’ve called, I’ve showed up to the local store what is it going take? Disputing bank charges is next. Even small claims as others have had to do.

Absolute worst furniture shopping experience of my life. Would not recommend to anyone no matter how attractive the financing options. I purchased roughly 10k of furniture from this establishment 3 months ago. I’ve since started my payments on said furniture and still have yet to receive the other half of my order. 1. The original living room set I wanted was not in stock so I changed my selection based on availability, was given a date of delivery of Aug 9. That got pushed back to the 29th. Here we are at the 29th and no delivery. I work nights so I had to stay up during the delivery window only to find that nothing is coming. So I go to the store I made the purchase and am now advised that my furniture won’t be delivered until late September. I was not given a courtesy call. 2. A portion of my order was CANCELLED with no warning. 3. When I tried to call customer service to straighten out the situation, I was met with the most rude and unprofessional customer service representative who HUNG UP ON ME. 4. I ordered lamps that were sent to the WRONG ADDRESS. I understand there will be some delays due to the pandemic, but I changed my selections based on the availability I was told. Had I known that I would be waiting 12 weeks I would not have purchased a single piece of furniture from this place. This place is beyond disorganized and selling furniture they don’t even have. No one is providing solutions, just excuses.

Ashley took our money. They sold us a couch and would not deliver it. They sent a text to confirm we would be home for delivery and never showed. We had to call them to see what was going on and they told us they don’t have the couch anymore. Worst furniture store ever.

Surprised this place has a 4.6 rating, because if I could give them no stars I would. By far THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I've tried processing a claim for the last 6 months. Only until the last two months has anything happened because I've called persistently every week. You legit cannot just call and get through to customer service. Apparently they just sit there and let them ring all day. The first issue was sending me a copy of an invoice through email. God forbid they had to type my name in the computer and email it to me. The customer service ladies refused to called me back after numerous calls and voicemails. Finally I got a hold of the manager who was slightly more helpful. Their warranty company GBS is a joke as well. But finally after 6 months I got my claims approved and i'm waiting for a rug replacement. After updating my address, they somehow are delivering it to the wrong address. I only spoke to one customer service lady at a call center who was very rude and she still couldnt solve the issue. Her response was "contact the store", yet they dont answer. And after making 25 calls today to correct the mistake, nothing has changed. Do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere, Jerome's is right down the road. Edit to add: I drove down to Ashley's because no one was answering. And they were just sitting around doing nothing. When they finally helped me change the address, it took less than 5 minutes. Well I got a call the next day confirming my delivery date and it's the old address still. How? I dont understand!

BEWARE OF BUYING A BED. Bought a mid range Ashley priced bed & within a week it was completely sunk on one side. Called Customer Service numerous times & they cancelled the Service Call 3 times. Went into store & month later a Technician came out to Inspect. He agreed it was a problem & downloaded pictures of problem & filed report with his Supervisor while he was here. Customer Service still says no report has been submitted I or filed. 45 days & no sleep because of bad bed. BE AWARE that they postpone addressing problems while you suffer with their BAD BEDS!!!

Horrible experience! We ordered multiple pieces of furniture from Ashley Furniture. 2 days before delivery, I was told my bed frame was out of stock and wouldn't be delivered for another 2 weeks. I asked to speak to a manager and a month later, I am still waiting for that phone call. I went in to the store and was told that the bed was still scheduled to be delivered and that they were unsure why the warehouse would have made that call. When I spoke to the San Marcos store manager, he said it was my fault for picking a delivery day almost a month after my purchase. I explained that he chose the delivery day as I was told it was the earliest I could get it. I told him I was very upset with how the employees treated me. He explained that he has nothing to do with it. On the delivery day, the truck broke down and I was told I would have to wait to receive my bed frame. I drove and picked up my own furniture that I ordered from this store. The rest of the furniture was delivered and the couch was the wrong color and the recliner was broken. I was not given a new delivery date for the correct furniture I paid for. I'm very disappointed with this company and lack of customer service. Even if they have a great deal, I would go elsewhere as they have proven that customer service is not something they care about.

Went shopping for a couch today at Ashley in San Marcos. Met with London who was very helpful. We needed the furniture piece in two weeks and London was able to check with her I Pad what offerings she had in stock and which couches that would be in in two weeks. Great price and she found a sale price for the couch which saved us even more

Horrible experience, ordered a living room set and a dining set. The couch itself was my 7th choice because what they had displayed in store was unavailable on various items. Waited months and they kept rescheduling delivery with no notice. Claimed I wasn’t answering calls but my phone company verified no one ever called. I would have to reach out to them and it was very unprofessional. Never got my furniture at the end of the day and had to ask for a refund and it’s going to take a while to get my $$ back.

I purchased this sectional couch on June 13th and did not receive it until July 27th due to a “system glitch”. The couch is perfect and exactly what I expected but the delay was a devestating inconvenience and unprofessional from this Ashley Furniture store. If it wasn’t for their sales associate, Maci D., and me going in personally to speak to their customer service center face-to-face, I would have most likely not received my couch until another month later. This Ashely Furniture store did not reach out to me to confirm the delivery until my wife and I reached out to Maci to confirm and keep track of any updates since there would be no response from this particular store every time we would call.

BUYER BEWARE: This is the worst customer service store I have ever dealt with. We 1st received a couch that was broken and waited a month for than one that did not work out that we waited 2 weeks for. Had to go to store multiple times, since they could not do anything over the phone, which is ridiculous. They have it set up this way so they can keep your money!!! Its been over 2 months and still have not received my full refund after a few dozen calls. They do not answer call at local store , to force you to go in. This is a racket.

Come to buy a new couch and no one wants to make a sale. 7 sales people standing around and joking and not one of them ever asked if we needed help.

I ordered my sectional sofa on 5/24/2020, they told me they will deliver on 6/30/2020. On the day of delivery, they said the other half part of the sofa will be delivered on 7/16/2020. On 7/16/2020, they didnt even bother to call me. I had to call 7/17/2020 and spoke to the salesperson curtis (the guy who helped me on the floor.) He told me that the sofa will be delayed until august! I asked when in august, they said they dont know! Curtis told me to call customer service but nobody will answer you, they will make you leave a message after 15 mins of waiting then they will not return your call!

They have a great set up. A salesperson meets you at the door. If you want to walk around alone, just let them know and they'll just check in with you periodically or you can ask them to show you specific styles or price ranges. They've got some excellent sales going on right now. Their inventory is extensive; we had to leave, mull over our choices and then go back.

This was our first time shopping at Ashley. The sales associates stay within earshot so they can help if you need it, but otherwise leave you to browse freely. Hakim worked with us, and he was very helpful. He broke down the different sales that were going on and how we could best use them to get what we were looking for at the best price. We will certainly return when we have further furniture needs.

The sales rep who sold us our furniture was great. The delivery crew was great. The scheduling/customer service on the phone was a nightmare. When our furniture was delivered, our dining set was missing four chairs and a bench. It was accidentally delivered to the stop before us. The delivery driver offered to go back and get the items right then, but the person to whom they were delivered refused to give them back because he wanted to purchase them. I reached out to customer service. It took forever to get ahold of someone. The person I talked to didn’t call me back with the information they said they would. Overall little to no concern was showed to my scheduling requests/ preferences causing me to have to miss work again to stay home and wait for the furniture a second time. While the sales rep and delivery people are good, this experience with Ashley customer service makes me want to purchase furniture elsewhere in the future.

Curtis was very helpful and showed me the 3 table/chair sets I was uninterested in based on my online searches. He was very professional and a true joy to work with during this process.

We spent over $9000 cash and they told us our order was ready and all there and they would deliver it the day after closing on our house. The day of the delivery the warehouse called and said the couch was on backorder and they didn't know when we would get it. i thought Ashley built their own furniture but yet can't tell you when it would be here. So later that day the oder showed up and they gave us the wrong legs for my daughters bed and couldn't set it up and then said they were done. i asked where the rest of the order was and they said that was it. My wife went to the store and told here it was already delivered the day before and we were lying. I asked her to ask the to show the signature for proof of delivery. Then all of a sudden they said oh it accidentally got deleted because one of the items wasn't in the warehouse it was in the store, so they deleted our whole order that was already paid for. So finally after admitting to their mistake they delivered the rest of they order the next day, but we are still waiting on our couch that will be here someday.This was our first buying experience and will be our last. We went and bought this furniture 3 weeks in advance because we knew it would be to hectic with moving and closing on our house. the amount of stress they caused by calling us a liar and then telling us everything was in stock, we would have picked a different living room set if we knew that couch was back ordered. They treat you like Royalty when your in there spending money and after the deal is done they treat you like a homeless person and they don't know you. SMH I waited over a week to write this thinking they might make it up to us. If they do I will delete this. but at this point i would never shop there again.

Furniture is nice and seriously over priced. The salesman was a stalker. Overly aggressive and followed us around the entire store. He really got on my nerves!! I would not buy furniture from him. He was new and needs to learn a better approach.

On the plus side I'm an easy shopper I go in I check it out if I like it I buy it and that's basically what happened here you guys had something I liked, I think his name was Christian handled the paperwork and everything worked beautiful I haven't taken delivery not until next week but if it goes as easy as the buying of it then I will be absolutely happy.

Absolutely horrible experience. We purchased 2 chairs at the San Marcos store. They both showed up defective. We decided we didn't want to risk another shipment so called to request a refund. At first they said we can't get a refund, then they kept passing the back to distribution center, call center, etc. Nobody would take responsibility and kept say we needed to call the store. Multiple store managers said we needed to contact the distribution center. We have probably made 12-20 calls. We are always promised a call back but never get one. Fortunately, we have refund protection on my AMEX and will probably use that. Too bad AMEX has to take the loss for a REALLY AWFUL COMPANY!

As I don’t like to leave negative reviews unless it’s really meant... here it goes! Bought a living room set almost a year ago. Wanted something comfortable and convenient. At the time sectionals seemed to be ideal for what I needed for my family. When buying my 4 piece sectional, I believe I got a good deal. 1200 for a sectional, dark color, easy maintenance and I can rearrange it. I was struggling for cash so I applied for the Ashley’s credit card payment. They offered %0 interest for 6/12 months. I was ok with it and assumed the interest fees will start after the 6/12 months... I looked at the balance owed a month ago and it showed 1600... remember I got this almost a year ago...how is that possible if I have made payments and even if I made a few late payments it’s totaled over 600 of payments. What they did is charged the interest fees that would I would have if I had an interest charge in the past 6/12 months.. that totaled over 400 in just a large lump sum of an interest charge.. and on top of that I am getting charged every month another percentage! THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! If I continue to making the minimum payment when finishing paying the credit it be over 4,000 on a 1200 sectional. For that reason I advise people to NOT apply for the Ashley’s credit card payment and if you do, pay it before the promotion ends. Not only do they take advantage of you but they disregard you as a person. READ EVERYTHING. It’s a financial burden that this company does.. whether they inform you this in a contract, they do not let you know of this verbally! Now I’m stuck paying for this obscene amount.. but I’m making it clear to people that want to review before buying and friends! This is not a place I trust not will refer anyone! The loan is a scam and inconvenient for the consumer! DO NOT USE THEY COMPANY AS A CREDIT LINE!

Terrible service

Bought and ordered bed frame online. Haven’t received anything but 3 separate charges to my card which total up to double the initial purchase. Can’t get ahold of anyone to correct this issue. it’s been weeks. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THINGS ONLINE AS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS

The furniture is horrible quality.Bought a dinner table set and the finisher the manufacturer used chipped away and turned white in a few places.Call to see if it could be fix or replaced since it was still under the 1 year warranty, was told by the Ashley furniture store Manager in San Macros, Ca That I wasnt able to because they didnt feel it was a manufacturer defect but it is!! Plenty of customers have complained about this same issue! Will not recommend buying from them again,the furniture looks good but quality is horrible and thier 1 year warranty is a JOKE!

Kru was very present in the process and helpful with crunching numbers, but I did get to look around by myself which is what I wanted!

The salesman Kru, was straightforward and asked why we were there. I was hesitant on buying anything, but my wife just had to have a chair/recliner. Long story short, we now own a recliner. No pressure from the Ashley staff. They even loaded it for us!

I went in not being 100% sure about buying a new sofa, but Hakim helped us along the way and was super helpful and friendly with the whole experience. We purchased a beautiful sofa for our home and it was so quick and stress free.

We purchased a love seat from Ashley HomeStore, we were met at the front door by Abdul Hakim and he took GREAT care of us from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, great sense of humor and you can tell he takes great pride in his job and helping customers. Good customer service is very important to us and if anyone ever asks us where to buy their furniture we would have no problem referring them to Ashley HomeStore and tell them to ask for him.

I bought a recliner in the San Marcos store. The salesman was great and very helpful. I received the chair and again was very happy. Then returned to store for a matching recliner. I again got great service at the store and bought the insurance along with it. It was delivered with a gash in the back and the back flap didn’t even cover the Velcro. The arms were uneven and the chair looked used and uneven in the shape. I had signed when told to at delivery but expressed my dissatisfaction with the chair, asking for quality and the condition like my original recliner.. The delivery man said he couldn’t take it back because I’d signed. I had no idea I had signed away my right to refusal. He told me he would make the report to replace it. I waited on hold with customer service for hours many days, and was told it was being reviewed. A man came to my house with stuffing, but it did not fix the gash or the wrong back flap. In the end I never heard back but received a box of stuffing!!! I want a new chair!!! If I don’t get it they have lost a customer, but I’m wondering if they even care!!??

Everyone was helpful and very nice, the associate that helped me was kind and gentle. He showed me all the available dining tables and we found the perfect one for me and my family. Thanks for all the help!

Kru was amazing! I was looking for a mattress for my mom. Kru helped me find the perfect mattress that is adjustable which is needed for my mom. They also gave me an awesome deal! All the furniture in my house is from Ashley, I absolutely love the furniture. What was so great is how Kru spent the time helping me, he was knowledgeable and very patient.

I went into Ashley Furniture store to get some new items for my home. I did my research first online and then went to the showroom to see the items in person and place my order. While I was there I was surprised by the overwhelming selection of products Ashley carried. A sales professional greeted me and assisted me right away. Sam, who helped me was not a pushy sales man like you May encounter in other sales stores. I came in to purchase a new sofa and bed. He did show me the mattresses and while I didn’t come in to purchase it, the mattress quality itself on top of the amazing discount Sam offered me on my furniture won me over. I’m beyond excited to be starting to new year with a new bed and mattress. Thanks Sam for all of your help. I’ll be bringing my Mom back as she was so excited to hear about all the amazing furniture Ashley has to offer. Btw Tim the manager was very helpful as well.

Our sales associate, Jairo, was super friendly and extra helpful. We were shopping for a dining set and he didn’t hesitate to move chairs around so we could see what different options looked like together. I also appreciate that when he didn’t know the answer to a question, he admitted he didn’t know and quickly looked it up or asked someone else. We are 100% happy with our purchases. In fact, we had intended to shop at a few stores before making a decision, but with the selection, quality, and service at Ashley, we didn’t need to go anywhere else!

Service was great. The help was excellent, they showed us a bunch of different options of furniture to choose from that we where looking for. The sales guy was amazing and dealt with me and my fiance's bickering while we where making a decision lol. He also got us some pretty good deals overall.

Great sales people who took the time to learn what our needs were. So does exactly what we were looking for. We wanted it before Christmas which meant a two day delivery on the 24th. They came through with flying colors and the sofa was there in time for Christmas. And not only is it beautiful but it’s comfortable. Thanks Ashley.
