Our Sales Person Stevie did a wonderful job. We were happy with the service we received.
We had a very good experience at Ashley. We had not intended to buy that day, but they had exactly what we wanted at a fair price. We saw no reason to continue shopping. Our sales person Julyssa was very knowledgeable, patient and did not pressure us.
Had to cancel our bed. Been waiting a month and a half. So very upset.
Keith was very pleasant and the transaction was easy to do my only concern is the right color of the item was selected.
As always, the staff there are excellent to deal with, easy to deal with, and the manager is on top of things.. not to mention they have great Quality Furniture!
Stevie was awesome we came in and knew we needed a table for our new house for Thanksgiving and she made it happen we are getting it 2 weeks before deff going back she was super friendly and made it a good experience in and out… go and ask for her

It’s a nice couch but it had splinters on the arm rest/back rest. It was also missing the feet and when I was setting it up I realized a lot of the nails or long staples as the rep called them were sticking out. when I tried to get a refund I was denied and was sent to various departments were eventually I was told they will not refund me. So now I’m stuck with a $900 couch that my kids can’t use because I’m worried they will get pocked again.
Delivery people were very courteous and professional. Took very good care of furniture and were very cautious on the premises. I would recommend them for delivery and set up again.
We like the staff at this location. Very nice furniture! We hope that all warranty and insurance will come through. Overall we liked the store and the staff.

Everyone that works at Ashley is great but buying the insurance plan on our furniture was a bad idea. Says it covers pet fluid accidents but since they don’t see a stain they would not cover. I don’t recommend buying their insurance.

Absolutely the worst experience ever!!! Get your furniture elsewhere if you can!! It took a month to get a dinning room table. The delivery team missed 3 delivery dates, no call, no show. I had sold my dinning room table and chairs, waiting for this table and it did not show. I went multiple times to the stockton location to have it resolved, but delivery was still missed. Finally it was delivered after I said I would cancel the order. This was the worst experience ever, the team didn't even seem to care about the fact that my family did not have a table to eat on. Will not be coming back. (Update: table was finally delivered, it was scartched on delivery, they need to send a technician in a few days to repair)
My experience today 9/28 was amazing Keneth the store manager was amazing. I came in because I saw a Kitler 2-Piece Sectional with Chaise online for 450 but it was out stock online and the store had it but it was 1200 out the door after taxes and Jan who was the sales associate who was helping me checked to see if there was anything to be done but was told that’s an online price only. I left but came back in and asked to speak to the manager and that’s when I met Keneth and explained my situation and he did some research and was able to make it happen.
What an amazing experience I had here especially with the great help of Bobby Tillery.

We just had a wonderful experience at the Ashley‘s furniture store in Stockton. Bobby was our “trusted advisor” and he did an amazing job. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions without being in the least bit pushy. We were able to buy the perfect recliner and get it all set up for delivery in the next few days. Can’t wait to start reclining!
The Ashley showroom is bright and spacious. Furnitures have a good number of selections. There was a bedside table with phone outlets which is really cool to have. If it was available in the store, I would have bought it right there and then. Keith, the store associate, was very welcoming and answered all our questions. He understood when we told him we could not buy anything since we’re just visiting.

Love this Place! As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by a very friendly face. I was able to walk around without the pressure of a salesperson following me around. When I had questions, Julisia was there to answer them. She was amazing while I chose between 30 rugs and several choices of beds. I was able to put together the furniture package of my dreams. Thank you so much Julisia, I will be back to see you when I need furniture or furnishings.

Final Update: Ashley offered to do one-time exchange or return of this chaise to resolve this issue. Even though I was only asking for a technician to come patch up that unfinished section, they said their technician are unable to do so. As such, I have agree to return this chaise for a full refund. Thank you for working with me to resolve this issue. Update: After the delivery of the furnitures I purchased, the chaise i bought for $719 had an incomplete upholstery on one side. I was told that because it was part of sectional. Why would they sell sectionals in pieces if it will look unfinished? I can’t even move it to another area of my living room without that unfinished part showing! If i was told/shown that the upholstery would look like this, I would not even consider this furniture. Very disappointed with this purchase especially if youare paying $719 for it. To make it worse, Ashley’s unwillingness to rectify this issue by sending technicians to patch this unfinished portion up, even if you paid extra to have extended warranty protection. I am not even asking for a replacement or refund, I just want them to send their technician to patch up the unfinished upholstery on this expensive chaise. You may have nice people working for you but if your store sells substandard products such as this chaise, not give full disclosure/description to your customers, and refuse to rectify this issue, you will lose loyal customers like me. I was a repeat loyal customer up until now. Original Review: Mohamed is such a great sales person. He helped me patiently find the items I needed. He and his manager, Ken, were both very helpful. The furniture I purchased is amazingly beautiful. And the mattress I bought was very affordable and extremely comfortable. BUT.... The Lady who assisted me seemed irritated that I was taking to long, had a sour face, and tried to act nice once I was ready to purchase Customer service was so so!! When I go back for the other furniture I will not be dealing with her! When I spoke to management, they didn't care, just told me "My employees know better" Like really? Needless to say I will not stop at that specific store in Stockton on Trinity parkway! Thanks for the great furniture and mattress

never again! they have changed my delivery 4 times now. when I bought my furniture they assured me that it would be delivered by the delivery date. I mean I did pay for delivery after all I believe they should honor that atleast.but I bet if I payed them 1 month late they wouldn't have liked that. so I recommend checking other furniture stores honestly.

I just want to say that this is by far the worse experience I ever had. . I pay for new furniture. Cause the one on the store look and feel nice.so I ordered a set. But what we actually got was junk. Different from what I tried at the store. They don’t do anything to help. Never again Ashly. Worse furniture I ever own.

I would give a ZERO if I could. First off, the couches went on back order for months! Then they finally get delivered so we move the old couches out, they unwrap them and find out they are the WRONG ONES. So then they are sent back and we have to wait another few months. Then we bought the warranty due to having animals and children. They stated that it covered many forms of damage and we decided to get it because of having the animals and children! Well fast forward and the electronic buttons to recline the seat don't work and the material on one of the cushions is worn down so bad! I called about warranty and it took a while but finally got installed just to find out it's backwards!! So the directions are wrong. They FIGHTING and claiming not to cover the material of the couch when we specially bought the warranty due to having the animals and children! The lady on the phone said I was lying about the damage that is on it and was completely rude. I will never buy from here again. I suggest NOBODY gets their items here.

I cannot recommend this furniture store enough! The prices were unbeatable and we were able to furnish our entire home for $5,000 less than what we had budgeted. Great furniture
We bought our couch just over a month ago, noticed a cushion sinking down & we also caused a stain (our fault). We heard how amazing Ashley's warrenty is & that is why we went with Ashley furniture. I have been dealing with their Warrenty Company reguard (wich we paid very good money for) for over a week & they do not want to send out a tech, they acknowledged there is a flaw in the couch but will not address it until we clean the stain with a kit they are sending us to clean ourselves. After going round & round with reguard, I called Ashley in Stockton where we bought the couch and Karissa gave us flawless service this morning (which we received with our purchase from another wonderful salesperson) and she is sending out a tech person in the next 48 hours! Thank you Karissa & Ashley Furniture in Stockton! I appreciate you!

Holy cannoli - the best furniture buying experience I've ever had at Ashley Furniture / Trinity Rd in Stockton. Not only is the furniture selection great the sales staff were the best period. From the moment we walked in we were attended by the kindest sales associate Mohamed Iqbal who walked us through the store and as my questions never ceased his awesome sales manager Kenneth patiently helped. The cherry on the cake was the customer service representative Ashley Moore who made it as smooth as a search and sale can go. The sun was shining on us the moment we walked through the doors. I encourage anyone looking for good quality furniture and the best sales support to visit Ashley's on Trinity Rd in Stockton.
1/2 - loveseat was delivered 1/3 - the recliners stop working. They stick when going up, they won’t close, you have to stand up before they will go down at all. 1/4 - called the store to ask what we can do. I asked if we could get exchange it. The woman answering the phone laughed at me, said the couch was ours the minute it entered our home. She sets up a furniture repair. 1/9 - furniture repair person arrives. Looks at it. Says that parts are needed to fix it and leaves. And here we are 1/29- with a broken loveseat still. No parts, no repairs, and just rude customer service every time we call and ask. Apparently the parts are being mailed to us for Who knows where. They can’t say for sure, they can’t or won’t do anything. This couch is less than a month old. It is falling apart. The recliners won’t close, the cushions are deflated, the fabric is saggy. It is so uncomfortable to sit in now. It was less than 48 hours old when we called the store the first time and they still couldn’t do anything. The only time they will help you is before the item enters your home. Buy somewhere else. We have the warranty and extended warranty and it all means nothing.

Purchasing, customer service and delivery protocols should not vary in the business of retail furniture. By its definition alone; there should be a clear understanding that is too often taken for granted by perhaps both the customer and the retailer. I took for granted the items I purchased would have a smooth transition for delivery as it has for several years in the past. That experience is what compelled me to continue to purchase products from this retailer at this particular location. All of the attributes I mentioned have diminished greatly regarding my most recent purchase that has inspired me to write my personal review. My advice to perspective customers purchasing from this retail establishment is to make a concerted effort to ensure your delivery schedule will be taken seriously and have them demonstrate this to you the “day of your completed purchase”. If you do not take this precaution in advance you should prepare to be misinformed about your delivery until the "eleventh hour” that will cause a great deal of frustration for the customer. For me personally it has given me pause when considering purchasing from this establishment in the future.
Kieth was very helpful, patient, and took time to show me around the store and suggested many things. When I got a snag in pricing he helped me threw and gave me discounts were he was able to. I would recommend his customer service and sale experience for future sales purchases

Great customer service from Erick the minute my mom & I walked into the store. It was great that he's bilingual so that was very helpful for my mom. I found a great sofa within my price range which was great since I have been looking & other places were pricey with not so good value. I ordered a mirror and was told by the sales rep it would be delivered 6/10. I received a call 6/14 that I had to pick it up. I do not have the means. Poor communication and service.
I walked in and met the Sales Consultant, Stevie at the Stockton store. She greeted me with a smile, asked me what I was looking for, and immediately walked me to several selections. I found exactly what I was looking for and it was listed as a "Hot Deal". Stevie was very patient and kind, provided me an immediate estimate, and I made my purchase quickly. Delivery date was confirmed at the store and shortly thereafter by text. Very pleased so far.

My experience with this store has me convinced to never buy from Ashley again. They told me that the majority of my furniture would be delivered before Christmas, they confirmed the delivery two different times,the third time they called me on the phone to tell me that the warehouse would not release the furniture till sometime in January. In the delivery notice they told me to get all the old stuff out of the way, seeing as my delivery would be soon I took my old stuff to the dump. So now,when my company comes for Christmas I can invite them to come in the living room and make them sit on the floor instead of the furniture that was supposed to be delivered before Christmas. There you are,you asked me for a review so this is what you get. Merry fling Christmas!!!!!!!!!

From the moment I walked through the doors of Ashley's in Trinity Parkway I was given excellent customer service . I was directed to exactly what I was looking for in a sofa. I have made several purchases there and have always received excellent service. Their products are a good value and they offer multiple choices. Delivery was excellent and I was notified at every step of the purchase, including the protection service offered and the in home setup.Especially noted was the outstanding service provided by Julissa at the store.In the past few months I have made six separate purchases and have been satisfied from the initial purchase through the delivery process. In reviewing the other purchases made by other customers who were not satisfied, I would say the blame should be placed on the store manager to follow through with every customer. The manager should be responsible and not place all responsibility on the sales staff for following through on every purchase. When I went to Ashleys I was briefly introduced to the store manager, ? Derrick but that was it. He disappeared into thin air. He definitely did not take an active part in any of the purchases I made, no follow up, no thanks for your service , no upfront support to his sales staff. I would give the store manager one star ! The store manager is the back bone of a business, so I am presuming that is why the store has lost customers . Customer service is lacking in that respect.I am happy that I had a positive experience. I was one of the lucky customers!

Almost 2 months ago I received a rug from the Ashley store in Stockton and immediately called when I noticed the package was torn and had dirt inside of it as it was a white rug. Call customer service. They stated that they were making a claim. I had no idea what their policy was. Come to find out. I needed to have returned the rug to the store within 48 hours. They didn't tell me that I could have just done that now. At this point they are not willing to do anything. They're not willing to refund my money back or even send me another rug. I will never purchase anything at Ashley ever again or set foot in any of their stores as they were rude because I only wanted to purchase a rug on that particular day. Only had one sales person that was willing to ring me up because it was just for a rug. I suggest anyone who has thought about purchasing something from an Ashley store don't do it!!

My mothers friend bought a chair and it's been months and he cannot get it repaired correctly because they contract out for service. They've tried several times to fix is electrical problem but it is instead getting progressively worse.

Today, I’m back at the Ashley store to get clarification of an invoice that was generated when I changed my order. A wonderful lady named Cindy at the front desk in Stockton helped me and she was “fabulous”! She took time to explain everything and she set my mind at ease. Wish I could give her more than 5 stars. Removing a couple of stars because furniture delivery was slated for today between 1-5 pm. We received an automated message saying delivery would be in 30 minutes (this was at 10:30 am) meaning delivery would now be at 11 am -- hardly any notice. Well, 11 comes and we get another automated message saying delivery would be 30 minutes from them (11:30 am now). Mom called the store to see what was happening and why the change of time. No one picked up. Phone call was returned hours later saying it must have been a glitch in the system and delivery time is still between 1-5 pm. Nope. The furniture came at 11:45 am. Good thing we were here. Not too happy about that but at least it worked out...

I received the $25 from my test test from a few months ago and, for awhile, I forgot I had it. I used it today to get gas and I couldn't help but think about my experience at Ashley's. At the time Kienan and Vanessa were very helpful managers with working me out a great deal for my mattress and bed frame, but Mikayla was a very informative salesperson and made me feel welcomed. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for and now I love the way my bedroom looks. At first I thought the rest test Mastercard was a scam to get my information, but it's legit!!! I have no annoying emails and now a full tank of gas. I will for sure be back to buy more!!!!!

HUGE appreciation to Karissa and her mgmt team! Karissa is sweet and calmed my nerves immediately by listening and getting her manager involved to help me! I most definitely recommend this location and Karissa! Don't order online or you will have the worst experience if you have to find someone to talk to. My delivery was a week late and was charged white glove delivery for them to bring the couch in and assemble it. The neighbor was paid to help them bring it into the house and what they considered assembly was screwing on 2 feet...

When deciding between having a couch delivered or figuring out a way to safely get it in our smaller truck - Keith gave us a plastic wrap to protect the couch from getting damaged in our truck. I recently moved to a new house and thought it was the best time to buy some new furniture and to redecorate. I’ve frequented this plaza before because of all the food/drink options and so it made sense to shop here. I can be indecisive when it comes to furniture shopping because there’s a lot to take into consideration from style to comfort to price. Quang, the Store Manager, was very helpful throughout the entire process! He would ask me guiding questions and remained patient while I took my time deliberating. He walked me through different options which helped me narrow down my choices. I was happy with my experience here and would highly recommend working with him!

I returned to Ashley’s with not much hope because of a previous negative experience here but glad I gave it a second chance. The store manager Quan gave me the best experience. After I told him about my previous experience he apologized and made sure I was well taken care of. He answered all of my questions and even suggested some new ideas. Legendary furniture store. I found this place while trying to fill a couch shaped void in my life. Upon my visit I was greeted by Quang, the store manager. Quang's customer service and sales skills are unmatched in the industry, as he was very helpful to me in choosing my couch, coordinating delivery, and making sure I was happy all without pressuring me. This is the worst furniture store. Cindy the manager there is awful and has terrible customer service. Got a new bed from their warranty and they never mentioned needing the old one back. Do not shop here!!!!And sadly they have a new "manager" every shift if you read the other reviews. Which means no one actually takes accountability for anything. They horribly communicated to us and took no ownership. Pleeeease don't shop here! You will somehow regret it

My fiancé and I went to the Stockton location only planning to look at bed frames but not necessarily buy one, however the store manager Kenneth referred us to the sales associate Bobby and he showed us some really nice frames and managed to convince us to buy one that very same day. He was a very friendly guy, didn’t come on too strong.

I have to say I’m totally impressed with the service and the staff that were very knowledgeable and helpful in finding me the right bedroom set. I feel it was a win-win for both of us, and I highly, highly recommend them. Bobby, who was my salesman was top-notch and he took the time and talk to me so I can understand the differences especially between mattresses. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

During my drive to and from work, I always pass by this store without much thought. I decided to check it out today to browse around. I ran into the store manager, Quang, while I was there, and he helped me as I browsed. He was incredibly knowledgeable about everything in the store and was an extremely friendly person, great sense of humor too! I’ll admit, being an Ikea shopper, I was skeptical of the products. However, I feel like I got my dream couch there and Quang’s assistance really made me feel confident in my purchase. I Dont ever post reviews but felt this may be helpful to potential return customers since it seems like the company doesnt care to make improvements. I purchased a complete bed set and had a sectional in my cart but held off on purchasing the sectional at the time due to the fact that i have previously had a bad experience with ashley and i wanted to see how this initial purchase would go. The saleswoman and manager were nice, to the point and negotiated to what i feel was fair enough price. However that would be the last time i heard from my sales person as there were no follow ups made. I elected to pick up and assemble products myself. After getting home and putting the bed set together there was either blemishes or defects with 3 items that needed to be switched out or repaired. After calling the support line and submitting photos of the damage i was assured i would be contacted within 3 days but i wasnt. I then called again and allegedly was flagged to be a priority phone call and still nothing. I then called the store and there was no manager to fix this issue so i was required to call again to finally get some sort of a resolution. I was told that 2 of the items would be available at a specific date and when i asked about the third item the response was “oh i didnt do that one, i can just have someone come out and have it fixed” well timelines were missed and im forced to reschedule again with minimal notice being given by delivery support. When i call i always feel like im bothering their staff. At this point im considering just dealing with the defected items as this seems to be too difficult of an issue for them to fix. Needless to say i probably wont end up buying the sectional now.

The sales person was fabulous! The furniture is beautiful. But the delivery was terrible. Tried to shove my recliner through a door carrying it on his back. And didn’t connect the wiring correctly for the couch and recliner. So I have wires showing everywhere. Kind of defeats the purpose of spending $950.00 for a battery pack so we weren’t tripping over wires. Then called customer service and they basically told me I was on my own.

I picked out a chair in their store. They ordered the wrong item. Then they wanted me to deliver the wrong item to them, at my expense, in order to get the chair I had originally asked for. They were very unorganized, and promised things they couldn’t honor. I finally cancelled my entire transaction, and had to go down there in person and ask for a manager to get them to pick up the chair sitting in my house that was the incorrect item. The whole ordeal took weeks, and was very stressful

I HATE writing bad reviews but this Ashley Furniture store is doing some shady stuff. I went in and purchased a recliner and after I got home and did some more research I found that the price was $600 cheaper for the same recliner on Amazon sold by Ashley Furniture. So since it says they will price matched I gave my salesperson a call. I was told Ashley only price matches brick and mortar stores not online stores (didn't see this disclaimer anywhere but whatever). So I told them it was SOLD BY ASHLEY on Amazon for $600 cheaper and I confirmed with their manager that they would not even be able to price match their own price! WHAT? OK then refund me and I will buy on amazon! Seems lame (I really wanted the salesperson to get a commission but $600 savings is a BIG savings!). So They assured me they refunded my order I had just placed and it would take 5-7 days for refund to process....FAST FORWARD 10 days later and still no refund and now I have to pay interest on the purchase to my credit card company. I called the store and was told that it was processed but it was "Up to corporate office to approve". UMMMM no that is not how a refund works. You click refund and it takes a few days to post back to your account but I digress. They then told me the order in their system says VOIDED. I said correct but you haven't clicked the REFUND button I bet.....silence...."please hold"......They get back on line and ASSURE ME that my case has been escalated and it will go to corporate for approval. MINUTES LATER I get an email from corporate saying "We just received notification that you requested a refund and we are applying refund now. Please wait 5-7 business days to reflect on your account". I checked my statement and sure enough there is the pending refund (WITHIN MINUTES!). Then I got a call from Ashley stating that my refund has been processed. I called her out. I told her...no it is not complete...it JUST started and will take ANOTHER 5-7 days because you guys did NOT click REFUND the day I asked. I asked if she would just ADMIT that they messed up...it was so clear...she refused to admit it because she knew I was out of pocket on finance charges. I again asked her to just admit her mistake! We are all human after all and if they cant admit when they are wrong them I will have to write about my experience warning others. Still nope! I honestly feel they were PURPOSELY delaying the refund because in a few more days it would have past the refund window and they would have kept all my money ($1965 to be exact!). This is shady. I will NEVER ever recommend this business to anyone.
Was encouraged by a store manager, Derek to go ahead and purchase our bedroom set that day and was told to come back a couple days later for a special sale and that he would adjust the sales price after the fact. The queen of two approximately $700 off of the purchase price We went back for the sale and he said oh I can't do that after all and but I can give you $100 off and then never even received $100 credit either don't trust the main store manager Derrick .

They're nice until you make your purchase.
Never, ever, ever, order anything online at this store. If you are unsatisfied with the item, it will be your responsibility to ship it back to wherever it came from. You would not even be able to return it to the local store! The shipping rates are often times MORE than the item purchased. This is THE MOST ridiculous policy any store can have. Great way to make you keep an ugly item!

I am writing this letter to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the overall experience I have had with this company regarding my recent purchase of a Tempurpedic mattress. I must say that this entire ordeal has left a bitter taste in my mouth and has significantly tarnished my perception of this brand. To begin with, the most glaring issue was the fact that they originally sent us the wrong size mattress. The kind lady who sold us the mattress assured us that the mattress she ordered for us would fit our bedframe. We bought the bedframe from Ashley Furniture years ago, so she was able to look up our history and the size of the bed. It was clearly a mistake on her end, and their store (Stockton location) initially refused to exchange it for the correct size, citing their zero-return policy. This lack of responsibility and refusal to rectify a mistake that was clearly theirs, is absolutely unacceptable. The subsequent communication via emails and phone calls was nothing short of chaotic and a headache to say the least. It was a constant back-and-forth struggle to get any acknowledgement or assistance from their customer service team. This unnecessarily prolonged the resolution process and caused undue stress and inconvenience for me as a customer. After what seemed like an endless battle, they finally agreed to send us the correct size mattress that we had originally paid for. However, what baffles me is the fact that they had the audacity to charge us an additional $750 for the delivery fee of the correct mattress. This charge was entirely their fault, yet they seemed more concerned about squeezing more money out of us rather than rectifying their own error. Yes, we paid that delivery fee TWICE!!! Moreover, despite multiple attempts to contact them via emails, I have received no response from their end. I also had called customer service three different times and had them send over follow up emails. I have not received a single email or phone call regarding this issue. It is extremely disheartening to see such a lack of professionalism and disregard for customer concerns. I expect a timely response and a resolution to this matter. Ignoring customers only further demonstrates your complete indifference towards customer satisfaction. As a returning customer, I had high hopes for Ashley Furniture and believed in the quality of their products and services. However, this experience has shattered my faith in their brand. The mistakes, the lack of accountability, and the poor customer service have left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. As of now, I have serious reservations about recommending Ashley Furniture to anyone I know.

The customer service is great but the phone customer service center is no bueno. I called prior to the 2 p.m. timeframe to change the order from delivery to will call pick-up, & the associate stated to email me with the ticket to the email THAT SHE HAS ON FILE, & didn't email me the ticket. Then I received another phone call 2 hours later regarding the delivery. I let the associate know of the email that was going to be sent to cancel the delivery. She stated that she would call me back. She did not. I now will go to the store personally due to the high call volume. The store does not pick up their phone.

Beware of the quality and especially of the “5 year protection plan.” We’ve spent thousand of dollars with Ashley on bedroom sets, end tables, couches and recliners. We paid for the extra protection. Surprise, surprise, the couch and recliners began breaking down and sinking on one side. I called for a service from the protection company and was asked very pointed multiple times when did the problem “first begin.” Unfortunately, honesty is not the best policy with a shady company. When the problem began versus when it actually broke was outside their 30-day notification. So, they don’t cover it. Period. They also have a ton of other reasons to get out of their commitment to cover your furniture. Read the literature carefully, and you’ll see it’s really not worth the cost. Ashley has lost my business over this.

I went from just looking to buying in one visit. I met an associate Tou, that was perfect. Nice, polite and extremely knowledgeable. He wasn't pushy or even start with the most expensive piece. He listened to what I needed. I was shown several pieces placed all around the store and ultimately bought a zero gravity battery powered reclining sofa. Tou is the ultimate professional. Ask for him if shopping in Stockton. I was looking for a maual reclining love seat. A very memorable experience

I'm reading these reviews and Bobby seems like a great guy, but maybe they need to let go of certain employees. I am curious to who the delivery guys are that aren't doing their job and when they do, items are missing, etc. My neighbors don't seem to have any problems with them. I see them at their house all the time. Heck the other day, I seen an Ashley truck delivering furniture to the neighbors @ midnight!! I didn't even know they delivered that late. The customer service cars must be working extra, because they are always at my neighbors too. I'm guessing helping to assemble furniture or whatever they do. All I know is they are at the neighbors a lot. Heck, not too long ago, I seen 2 ashley vans there, so my neighbors must be buying a lot of furniture and seems like any problem they have, Ashley sends someone out to help right away. The complaints must not be about the drivers I see in my court, what seems like daily. Either that or my neighbors paid extra for some kinda V.I.P. service. Oh, my mistake. It was just a little after 11pm, not quite midnight. Either way, that's incredible delivery service.

I would like to share with everyone that Bobby Tillery is the best salesperson in the world! My husband and I went in on Saturday evening not knowing which furniture to look at first. This store is big and we felt overwhelmed but thanks to Bobby this experience was easy, he knows a lot about furniture. He is super friendly, patient, and very sweet. We were fortunate to have meet him!
Their customer service is sorely lacking from their management. I spoke with the Manager Sunday, he said he needed to check with his Regional Manager about my request and would call me back, he knew it was time sensitive and needed a response immediately for a Thursday delivery. I called yesterday 24 hours later to follow up since I haven’t heard back from him, I was told he was off until Friday. I then asked customer service to have his Regional Manager call me to resolve my issue, here we are again 24 hours later, no phone call, nothing resolved. I urge you to avoid this location. I’ve had nothing but issues. Broken and damaged furniture upon delivery, excessive wait times, and again ZERO customer service from management. You know what they say, it starts at the top.

I went to several Ashley’s locations, looking for a dining table and a sectional sofa. Some sales rep would tell me either it’s out of stock or it will take several months to arrive, with no promise of an estimated arrival time. Once I did place an order for a table, it came damaged. After returning, I went to the Stockton location and had a pleasure to meet Fozia. Although I was disappointed at my experience from sales reps and delivery, I was thrilled at how outgoing she was, had a strong work ethic and a desire to truly help me fulfill my furniture and decor needs. Not only did she show me variety available at the store for a quick delivery, she also showed me stuff they had on sale and the deals going on at the store. Surprisingly, I bought a dining set, sectional sofa, and some decor! They arrived perfectly within one week and I went back the next week and bought my bed set from her. Fozia is an excellent asset to Ashley’s! I highly recommend this place and rep.
I bought a tv stand, which they said they'll deliver but not set up since it came from somewhere else. Just the cabinet doors they said. Delivery was supposed to be 2-2 1/2 wks. After the timeframe I called and tried to track it online. My phone number, name nor address was recognized like I didn't make a purchase. After 3 days I finally get thru on the phone and was told it would arrive within 2 more wks. The delivery people would call with details....they did not. I get home one day abd on my porch is a huge box almost to heavy to move by myself. I got it this past Monday and I'm scared to open it because it looks like I have to put the entire thing together. Thinking of sending it back and go somewhere else. They're great while ur in the store but after they get ur money you don't seem to exist. I was warned about them but I gave them a try. Never again.

Honestly would never shop at this store but the product was amazing and even though product was amazing I had a bad experience with the delivery and I promised myself I wouldn’t never shop at Ashley again but ironically enough Ashley from customer service saved the day she made my experience so seamless we are making another purchase. Ashley was so professional and amazing I am now and Ashley fan and a lifetime customer.

I paid for and bought a bed through Ashley Funiture on Trinity park on 10/14/22 with my current address. The store calls and says i need to update my address because they have a old address. I am confused and double check the order slip from the 14th which has my correct address . I also bought 2 mattresses from the in February to my current address. No one called me to tell me there was a issue they just never came!!! Customer service sucks. They offered me $150 off for there mess up no thank you refund please. However my service rep Bobby is dope too bad they wont get anymore of my money.
Never again will I have any dealings with Ashley Furniture. I purchased a chest of drawers, and on delivery (9/20/2022) it was discovered that a knob was unable to be tightened. I called and a Tech came a few weeks later.(10/4/2022) The tech advised he could not fix the knob, I would need a whole new drawer. The Tech took the drawer out and I noticed a split in the wood inside. I took a picture and forwarded it to Ashley, thinking that the split wood would need to be fixed before a new drawer was installed. I was told that when the Tech arrived to put the drawer together they would have him take a look at the split wood. I received 2 phone calls from Ashley Furniture to let me know that the drawer would be sent by USPS. Last Saturday (10/15/2022) I received in the mail the drawer knob. ( The Tech previously said he couldn't replace the knob) I am going to pay a professional to repair the furniture that I unfortunately bought from Ashley Furniture. I regret ever walking into that store.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience with an employee named Ashley in the Stockton store! She was knowledgeable and seemed more than willing to assist me with the issues I am having regarding my recent purchase and made me feel reassured that there will be a resolution with the problem I am having with my purchase. The online service center however was absolutly horrible with even helping me find my recent order as well as guiding me on how to resolve the problem.
This was by far one of the worst experience I’ve ever had with the delivery. The store will tell you upfront if you have a bad experience it’s not our fault. They know. Had a bunkbed put together by the installers and they blew out pretty much every board. Took six months to get replacement parts. This Company should learn to use different installers.
My pick up experience with Ashley and Aaron was superior customer service; five stars! Ashley and Aaron went over, above, and beyond to help me with breaking down my desk so that I could move it and reassemble it when I got home. My experience couldn’t have been better! Thank you so much! Your kindness is unmatched!! What great employees Ashley Furniture has in these two people! Just make sure you never buy anything online make sure it's something you can touch and feel.....Their online furniture didn't meet my standards. The couch has gaps and does not line up.....bought these 2 months ago and still waiting to see if I can get a replacement.......I'm very sad I have a tacky couch that cost me $2000 smh

Bobbie was an amazing man who took the time to work with my daughter and I in purchasing an adjustable bed. He explained a lot of the details that go with the bed and the type of mattress best for my situation. Management was also a great help. This was my third purchase from Ashley’s and I will continue to shop here for my needs.

Mortifying Experience ~ (Associate named Thai)- in Stockton location! Went into Ashley looking for several pieces of furniture for a new home. Was helped by a very nice associate initially by the name of KEITH, he cared about our vision & was not fake or pushy like some furniture sales reps tend to be. As we were looking around a different employee walks up to us (my wife, Keith & I) & says to my wife “Hey, can I ask you a question? We have a bet going on whether the two of you are brother & sister or husband & wife?” Can you imagine being asked if your wife was your sister? How inappropriate is that & what does it matter or have to do with him anyway? And the fact that he said “we “ have a bet going implies that other employees were also involved in just sitting around making jokes about customers while shopping in the store. We were both speechless & so embarrassed & the only reason we decided to stay and give them our business was because of Keith. Keith did apologize on his behalf & informed the manager. When the manager approached us she didn’t bring up the incident to formally apologize she only cared about verifying our order before Keith submitted it. We did mention it, just to share the experience & how it made us feel but she didn’t seem to be very apologetic. I could tell she wanted to try to cover for him if she could but there was definitely no excuse she could give for his behavior so she did say “ I spoke with him about it” Lastly, we ended up waiting 2 weeks to get one of the table sets we ordered that was supposed to be (in-stock) we ended up purchasing a leather sofa set, bar-stools and a table set. The table set was is not good quality & seems off.

The worst experience with this place. They failed in all ways delivery, customer care. I spent over 10k in this store and not even my dinning set came completed. . All they answer we don’t know when we will come back someone will call you. I wanted to return everything the first day now after 7 days they say they have a 3 day policy. Now they are telling me I didn’t buy a coach section. Very Unprofessional. Don’t go there it’s a joke.
Don’t purchase from them! I purchased in October and didn’t get my furniture until January with a lot of missing pieces and the item i ordered was a table with 4 chairs and a long bench and i received the table alone in December 3 weeks later received 2 chairs 1 week later received the other 2 and it’s May now 7 months later and they keep pushing the bench delivery date ! I’m so disappointed and if i could i would’ve never ordered through them this has been a nightmare wasting my time !
I really enjoyed my experience because of the person that was assisting me. Aaron was absolutely amazing! His personality was endearing and he took the time necessary to ensure that I understood the product and knew when to pull back to give me time to think about what to purchase. He filled a cart for my future reference and seemed unbothered by my timeline that was a few weeks out. So thank you Aaron, you made my day!
My experience with Ashley Furniture has been horrible. I found the furniture I liked and was happy, but the delivery was the start of the problems. The delivery was being made to a Senior Independent Care that has a Conciere desk that is manned 24 hours a day. I was not moved in yet from out of state but delivery was given instructions that the Concierge would give them access to my apartment. I arrived a few days after what was the delivery date and no furniture. When I called I was given various answers, nobody home, couldn’t find the address etc. finally received much later. Now the furniture is less than a year old and the Love Seat has a gap between the arm and cushion. I have made several attempts to contact Customer Service where I was anywhere from 129-250 on the call back list. Now 48 hours plus and still no return call. I have also sent additional emails since they requested that I send a picture of the Love Seat. Now I am in the process of moving so my theory is that they will claim it was damaged in the move. So any wonder as to why I gave them only one star.
I like the stuff they have,but I just want to browse around and not be chased all over the store by the employees.

I seriously won’t even step food into this place ever again if they tell you things are in stock don’t believe it I purchase in January and it’s about to be may sleep on the floor at 7 months pregnant because they gave me a delivery date at the store turns out they lied just to make a sale . Got some used couches and a supposedly new table sets and 🤦🏻♀️ They are sitting in my living room un assembled. Don’t let delivery people leave any items on your home. Wish they would have told me that 🤷♀️ Now it’s May and I’m still struggling to get them to bring the item that was missing from the fox so the tables could be assembled, had to cancel the rest of my order. This is awful customer service, I worked here when I was 16 years old to 23 years old, if I didn’t have an item in stock I would have customers re-select and told them the truth because I would of hated to be in the position I’m now with Ashley, sales people seriously need more training or better training at this location. Can’t say much about other location the Ashley outlets , near this Stockton location, seriously drive just 15 minutes more to their outlets/wear house.

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY! They are steal your money and do not get back to you to give you a refund or deliver. No call no show. Hours on the phone, time off work only to have no one show up multiple times. I don’t think I’ve ever given a one star (or two for that matter), but there is ZERO service or accountability. Just theft at this point.

I was still stinging from a disappointing experience at the Concord store and called the Stockton store hoping someone could help me find the bar stools I was looking for. I shared details with Alma. She is customer oriented, friendly and patient. While I'm disappointed about the wait time, the anticipted wait may be (hopefully) quicker than the projected online wait time. I will recommend Ashley - Stockton and Alma, in particular, to those I know shopping for furnishings. Thank you, Johanna

I rate Ashley's a five star, I ordered a bedroom set and the mattress was the wrong one. They delivered the correct mattress within a couple day's. They were friendly and knowledgeable. Their furniture is good quality and they offer a 5 year warranty.
A very sweet man named Bobby helped me out today. He was very helpful and pleasant. I find that a lot of salesmen can come off a bit aggressive or borderline pressure you into making a purchase. PLEASE READ BEFORE DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! If I could go with zero stars I would. I would like to start by saying that the instore people were fine to work with, where we had major issues was after our purchase and dealing with their customer service. We purchased a very expensive tempurpedic mattress along with the motorized base with the pretense that it would fit our existing bed frame. We explained to the employee who sold us the bed that we have a very tall standing bed frame (that matches our bedroom set) and were worried it would not fit, she assured us that as long as there were no drawers under our bed it would fit. She also neglected to tell us that there was NO returns on on tempurpedic mattress. We would never have bought this EXPENSIVE mattress knowing there was no returns. We ended paying for the mattress in full and had it delivered. Upon delivery they asked that our bed frame be removed as they do not touch anything that they are not installing. We removed our bed frame and a day after the mattress and base were installed we tried to put our bed frame back together and found out that infact it did not fit our bed frame. We have tried to live with it for a few days and could not deal with the issues that arised due to the bed frame not fitting the new mattress and base. We called the employee who sold us the mattress and base, as she directed us to call her instead of the store for a quicker response. This turned out to be a ploy to delay our contact with the store directly about our issues. We received no phone call back for days and finally reached out to the store directly to discuss the issue we had with our mattress. This is where we found out that they do not accept returns on mattresses. We explained the issue with the bed frame not fitting the new mattress and base, this is where for the next two months they would pass our complaints off to corporate and then back to the store. We could not get anywhere with either corporate or the store and could never get a call back, we had to call every time to get some kind of update. We also told them that we would be willing to take store credit for the return, or keep the mattress and return the base, as the base was the reason why it would not fit our bed frame. Ashley was unwilling to work with us at all since they already had all our money. Finally after two months of dealing with the worst customer service, they told us that our claim was denied since we did not call it in with in 72 hours. I am not sure why they strung us along for two months to tell us this, and also realized why the original employee asked us to call her and not the store first. All in all I just want people to see Ashley for what they really are, thieves and liars.
I was so very pleased with my service from Thai Tran. I was new to buying a brand new couch. He was so helpful I getting us exactly what we wanted. This store is completely the worst store in Stocktons history. The customer service is really bad and seem to just be puppets. The management are not there to please any customers just act as such . Prices are so high...for fake plants they range from 49.99 to $1000...wth. I am going to spread the word on fb, insta, yelp, etc. DONT USE THIS STORE YOU WILL GET SCAMMED OR WORSE!

My experience with Ashely Home Store was amazing. Keith is such an incredible salesman. He has great people skills, has great sense of humor, excellent work ethics and very professional. I was interested in purchasing a computer desk. Keith showed me about five desks in the store. I love the first desk he showed me and once he gave me a demo of the pull-out under the desk and says this would be great for a printer... than I was sold!! I purchased a table from them, 2 moths ago in october, got it delivered when they were about to leave i noticed it being damaged the delivery guy thought me into keeping it and getting it fix by a one of their technicians( claiming it will take moths to get it re delivered due to the fact of product shortage along the globe) and i should of known better😡 after more than 2 moths and having to call several times myself i haven't gotten my table fixed!!! AND I PURCHASED THE 5 YEAR PROTECTION PLAN😒
My husband and I purchased a bed for our daughter. We were told by the sales associate that setup fee and delivery fee would be waived. When the bed arrived the delivery people said they don’t set up because it wasn’t on their system to do that. When we called the store they said there was nothing they could do. They arranged for someone to come out but we had to pay them. They would not waive it. The sales associate would not talk to us and conveniently disappeared when we were in the store. We agreed to have the person set up the bed. I went to the store prior to the setup. The manager did compensate with a set of lamps. But I feel like more needs to happen. He arrived had no tools so he used my husband’s. He also had my husband set up the bed with him. He charged us the full amount of setup. He also had his dog with him and his friend waiting in his car. The dog was running around barking outside of our home. When we opened the door, the dog came inside of our house where we have cats. The whole experience was unprofessional and overall the worst experience I’ve had with customer service.
Went in looking for furniture for our new house. The sales rep was very helpful but new. The manager Mark had stepped in when we were going to leave because we realized there was the same products online for much cheaper! We were told a table we ordered would be available by the end of December , so we ordered. We would not have if it was going to be any more then that as we really wanted a table. Come to find out that wasn’t true the table wasn’t showing ready until March. And I didn’t find that out until I called. They did not care that manager Mark, who is being promoted to regional manager, fed us the “ We honor our word and serve with integrity “ speech to get a sale. We ended up cancelling the whole order and now have to shop for new furniture for our whole house.

I ordered two headboards and a dresser. I wanted them to be delivered on Monday but the time slot was not available so I had to take Friday. But the next day got a text and Monday was available! So happy. They said between 11:45am and 3:45pm. They were right on at 11:35! They put everything together and it was perfect. I will definitely order from them again! Thank you!!

I went into Ashley Homestore looking for barstools. I found some that fit my decorum. I was pleased to learn that a set was on clearance and a matching set would be delivered in a few days. I went ahead with the purchase. The sales rep told me that I had 48 hours to pick up the set that was on clearance. I returned to pick up the set close to the 30 hour mark. Well, the set wasn’t ready. In fact, I was told that they could not find the key to unlock it. Then the supervisor on duty told me that I could take the stool if I had a tool that could be used to unlock the stool. My husband asked if it could be delivered. We were told my the supervisor that it could not be delivered. We would have to come back once they found the key to pick it up. I left the store upset because I’ve wasted my time and the management team was inconsiderate of our time. The following morning the store manager called to explain that the store has had some growing pains and he’s working with his staff. We chat for a bit. I share that my negative experience won’t have me returning. This is when the manager offered to make it right by having the stools delivered, the same day. Great! He gave me his cell phone number asked that I called him back in an hour to remind him because he’s running the entire store. At just about the hour mark, I called and left a message. No call back! No delivered stools!

This was the worst furniture buying experience I’ve ever had. Paid for kitchen table with bench and barstools back on 7/31/2021 was told they wouldn’t have all the pieces ready for pick up until October 24th. Ok that’s fine. Received a call the day before pick up saying that all my items now won’t be available until December 23rd. So you’re telling me I’m not getting a table I paid for until almost 5 months after I paid for it. That is wrong and a horrible way to conduct business because they are so quick to collect the money but so slow to give you what you paid for what do they care they already got paid. Never buying furniture from here again and to think I was thinking of buying all new bedroom furniture from here ugh it’s a hard pass from me.

It wasn’t assembled like promised!!! We specifically asked if it came assembled. Thai the shady salesman promised it would be. I won’t be back that’s for sure. Oh well lesson learned.

I made a purchase in June and was told it would be delivered on Thursday of the following week. I was called a week after the purchase, by the guy that helped with the sale, and told that he forgot to put in the order for the couch I had purchased (I ordered multiple furniture) and that the delivery had been postponed. I would get a call to set up the delivery when the couch was in. It has been a month and I come to find out that my furniture will not be delivered until September 12th. I am furious because he never told me that it would take that long. The money is out of my account already (over $3,000.00) and I do not have the furniture that I needed by this weekend. I have been trying to contact the store, but have been unable to. The only reason I gave it a one star is because I would not have been able to post 0 stars otherwise I would not have given them that one star.

We have bought furniture from here before and have been happy. I walked in to look at bedroom sets and was followed by salesman the whole time. Did he think I was putting a bed in my pocket? It was uncomfortable and I will not go back. Prefer somewhere where they let you browse.
The employee did not make an effort to answer my questions on the most informative way possible. She tried to sell as fast a possible as possible. I asked her about delivery my purchase. She said the store took care of it but she did not mentioned there was a 100 dollar charge.

Worst experience ever I bought my daughter a bed paid a lot of money was instructed to pick up the bed within a 2 hour window . Got a truck went to get it and the warehouse refused to give us the bed without an appointment made prior. We explained we were not told this by the person selling the bed to us. They still denied the bed. When coming to get the bed the next day from the warehouse hours were inaccurate . After two days of trying the bed is missing pieces , customer service is horrible . Stay clear from this place
Hands-down the worst Ashley home furniture store in the Stockton Manteca area nobody in there is actually helpful they are misleading with how their policy and procedure actually works and they don't want to help whenever they are in the wrong. We had purchased a sofa and living room set that we had to pick up on our own and were told would be loaded but they couldn't be delivered when we get there no one could load us we had to do it ourselves and it was more of a headache just to deal with it. You're better off spending an extra five or 600 and finding a better store with the same furniture

The worst furniture buying experience of my life. My delivery was supposed to be the first week of April they pushed it back several times. Horrible custom service. They say they will have your delivery on a certain day and they don’t.
I appreciate having a midrange quality furniture store in our area. You pay for the quality, but it is nice to have furniture made with integrity. I also appreciate recognizing not all customers are awash in cash so the sales staff isn't snobbish. I didn't appreciate the 50% off signs that didn't apply to the price tags but were 50% of the "regular price" which they had in their computer. I wish they had honest pricing, not "honest" pricing with their fingers crossed.

This was my first visit here and will be my last. Absolutely stunning merchandise that I was interested in purchasing for my home. I couldn't get 2 seconds to myself to look at anything without having a pack of vultures on me was like shopping for a used car. You are definitely wearing your commission sales on your sleeves folks and that is a bad look it's a very big deterrent and that's why places like Amazon are killing places like this and it shouldn't be like that.
Honestly this company lost a customer today. I was never going to buy from this store again due to a terrible delivery experience, but due to the amazing service i recieved from aileen at the customer help desk. She saved the companies image in my eyes.

This place is the worst! If I could give a zero I would. BE WARNED!! they change the delivery time all the time and when they deliver, the items are either broken or are still missing pieces. Customer service is no help at all. I will never spend a dime at this place again.
I wish I never purchased couches through this place! 1st off I didn't get my couches till 2 weeks after the day I was suppose to get them so a whole month later! Then the couches stay slipping out of place due to the material on the bottom half of the cushions not having any type of grip.

I ordered my bed frame the day after Christmas and I still have not received it. The original date I was suppose to receive it was February 13th. The arrival date has been pushed back 2 times now - In March and the last date I have is April 14th. What’s frustrating is that I had to call to get the status updates. Super annoying and frustrating. I had my bed frame removed from my bedroom 2 days before the original scheduled delivery date. I called the next day being told about the delivery date change like really? I’ve been sleeping on my mattress for the past couple months!!! I’ve called the past few days and no one’s picking up the phones in store! I regret purchasing knowing the bad customer service Ashley has that I’ve read.

I’ve never had such a bad experience. I purchased furniture on 10/20/20 and got a delivery date and they never showed up, we did this 4 times before I canceled my order. I’ve been waiting for my refund since 1/1/21 & I was told it would take up to 10 business days. I still don’t have my $. I called and now they are telling me it will take 2 billing cycles to get my $ back and customer service is saying they had to open a case to get my refund but they don’t have the # of the department that handle finances. What kind of company is this? It’s a place that takes your $ and gives you nothing in return. Not even your $ back. If I took their furniture without paying and didn’t give it back that would be called stealing. So I ask what does Ashley call it when they stall giving my $ back for something I never received. Spare yourself the headache and get your furniture somewhere else.
Beware Ashley's does not allow refunds. I ordered several pieces of furniture for a bedroom from Ashley's. But a accent bench I bought has a leg 1/2 inch shorter than the other 3 legs. The installers did not catch the defect and we didn't see the problem till right after the installers left. I immediately called customer service. They said it was my fault I didn't refuse the product when the installers were there. I had to make a claim and send pictures of the defects. Then a tech will come to my home and decide whether if it could be repaired. I have to wait a week for a tech with a bench that is unsafe to sit in. They said they might have to order parts to repair it. After all that they might replace the bench with a new one. I also found upholstery defects and said I wanted a refund because of the poor quality of the product. Customer service said I had to call the store. The store said they don't take returns or make refunds in the store. So I had to call customer service back. They said I bought it, I'm stuck with it. One rep said they could cut off the other 3 legs to match the short one. This same guy kept asking me to give him an excellent rating on the phone survey. I contacted my credit card company to get a charge back. Ashley's Customer service doesn't care about their customers. They make it very difficult hoping you'll give up and go away. Don't buy from Ashley's.

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE HERE. We ordered and PAID FOR a sofa on Nov 2, scheduled delivery DEC 10. Salesman was AWESOME, as was store manager. I received several texts confirming my DELIVERY, including a text 12/9. On scheduled delivery date, at 615, NO SOFA, NO DELIVERY. I call the store and am placed on hold for 38 minutes, only to be told there is a mysterious HOLD on my sofa. I later receive a call from the above mentioned store manager who tells me it will be delivered Dec 14. Ok, 4 days...no biggie. NEXT day, I receive a call from delivery to let me know delivery is delayed until Dec 31 or Jan 3, due to COVID. UMMMM, NO. IT WON'T. CANCELLED my order. Best friend also ordered a new sofa the same evening I did, also pushed back. Co-worker ordered in EARLY October, also pushed back to end of December (sure 😉). Reading these reviews I see this has been happening since AUGUST, AT LEAST, and no one mentioned COVID caused DELAYS during the SALE. But they ALL mentioned the PANDEMIC in their EXPLANATION for delays after missing the delivery dates. LAME and a pattern, according to reviews on this page. POOR BUSINESS ethics. I won't go back, except to FINALIZE cancelling my order!!

We bought some furniture from this Ashley Homestore months ago. We sat on it at the store, everything great, or at least we thought. We waited over the 3 months for Ashley Furniture to deliver the furniture after we ordered it, due to ‘issues in the warehouse due to COVID’. Okay, we waited. When we received the furniture it looked okay, no damage. However the quality of the furniture we received is downright terrible! After a few months the couch cushions are bowing and the leather stretched just from sitting on them. This is nothing like the furniture was like at the store. When I called Ashley Furniture’s customer service and they told me that it’s “normal wear and tear and refuse to replace or repair it”. The customer service supervisor even admitted to hanging up on me, when I asked for his manager. No customer service! After only a few months, that’s not ‘normal wear and tear’. Also to be hung up on intentionally by a supervisor is ridiculous! I went into the store and called Ashley’s corporate number, the corporate representative on the phone told me that I can expect a refund from the store and they will contact me, that hasn’t happened. I asked what do I do if they don’t call me?! She said “Go into the store you purchased it from and they will take care of it.” So we went into the store, they are saying they don’t have the ‘authority’ to do a refund or exchange. REALLY?! I am tired of calling the store each week, for them to tell me that there is nothing they can do. Writing multiple emails to managers that don’t even want to respond to the issue. I’m looking for an attorney. It’s been so ridiculous, I feel like this was a bait and switch situation! I don’t understand how a huge company (such as Ashley Furniture) refuses to be held accountable for such horrible quality of their own products. Also the customer service they provide is appalling. PLEASE, I urge you NOT to buy furniture from Ashley Furniture!! They don’t have integrity or stand behind the quality of their furniture.

First time coming here. At first Mollie was really nice and helpful and the main manager stated that the whole store was in managers special. They gave us a quote for couch, Coffee table, and bedroom set for the full price instead of the sale price. I got the worst customer service from a woman supervisor there. She was really pushy and I didn't like her vibe. I felt like I was at a car dealership. Worst experience and a waste of time. Take your business else where.
Poor customer service!!! My husband and I were ready to buy the floor model for close to 3000.00. Was told sorry but no delivery on that and we had to pick it up in 2 days. Wasn't even offered the option to pay them to have it delivered. Kept pushing for us to buy the brand new set with free delivery for over 5000.00. What a joke!!

Complete joke. I spent $ 2,400 on a living room set August 21st and was given a delivery date of October 3rd. It was far out but I understood because of the pandemic and such. I called to verify my delivery as I had already cancelled plans I had previously made before my purchase and have nobody else to be home for delivery. When I called they told me 2 of my 3 items are on back order and one isn’t set to come until sometime in November and after it arrives they’ll call to setup an even further out delivery date. Canceled my entire order and I will find furniture elsewhere. It would have been nice to know before I wasted my time that the delivery date is not set in stone and could be months different. Cancelling my Ashley card and not doing business here again. **So I canceled my order, canceled my credit card with them, checked a week later with the credit card company that my account was closed and had a zero dollar balance. I went shopping for new couches since I wasn’t getting them from here. And they took it upon themselves to still deliver the couches while I wasn’t home and charge me for them AFTER I already purchased couches from somewhere else. This business is complete garbage!

Sales rep Matthew Zachoclo is like a used car salesman. he is pushy, lies & gives many false promises. we purchased a living room set 6/3/20 and was promised a delivery date of 3 weeks due to items out of stock. We were assured items could be delivered sooner than what was written on paper, he also gave us his "personal cell number" to call him in a week so he could see if they were avail sooner. We waited, and no delivery came. so i called and got the run around after 2 hours was given a date 6 weeks from then stating items were still out of stock. my new date i was given was 6 more weeks. We are now over 4 months after purchasing and still do not have our items. this place is a joke i have no idea how it has so many positive reviews when every single person i talk to about this has the same experience. We've left several messages for Matthew & a supervisor to call us back and haven't received any. Once they have your money they don't care about you.

Had a splendid experience. My wife and I went to Ashley HomeStore to buy a sectional. We were greeted by a sales associate named Bobby. Bobby asked what we were looking for, pointed us in the right direction, and said to ask him if we had any questions about pricing. We were not pressured to buy anything. All we got was answers to questions we had. The store had a great selection and we received a huge discount on our purchase. I would highly recommend this store.
Horrible customer service. Only delivered 1 of 2 of my furnitures on date of delivery and the delivery driver told us it was going to be delivered the next day which they never came. Called customer service and told us it was on back order for a whole month. A month had gone by and I gave them a call the girl on the phone sounded like she didn't want to be there or annoyed when I asked her about my furniture status. They told me we gotta wait till another 2 weeks. I pretty much had enough and took a trip to the store to either ask for a refund or an exchange. They told me no refund cause supposedly the furniture is in the process of shipping and exchange is only available when the furniture hasn't entered the house. Avoid this store and get your furnitures elsewhere. I bought a 600 dollar king size bed 4 years ago from a mom and pop Vietnamese owned furniture store all the way out in Oakland and even though the bed wasn't top quality cause I paid for what I got but at least they came and delivered their promise on the date and time of arrival with the whole set non damaged. Update: 09/23/20 2 weeks after they told me to wait for the day of delivery it is now 09/23/20 Wednesday. I received a text this past Saturday confirming my delivery of sofa with a recliner and still no show. I called customer service and they said the sofa twice again was on back order and the test they've sent me was an error. They told me I gotta wait for another 2 weeks on 10/07/20. Customer service even transfered me to talk to their supervisor and had me for 15 minutes only to talk to another customer service representative. Supervisor probably got tired of all the other complaints of customers not receiving their furnitures on time. If I don't get my furniture for this 3rd attempt I'm going to file a small claim on these con artists. I don't know how they stay in business. They continuously lie to their customers. Don't shop at Ashley!!!
They should have paid us for what we went through, constant misinformation about delivery dates, we had to drive to the store location out of town 3 times, 1st time we received discounts, 2nd time we received more discounts, 3rd time the delivery time was pushed back for a total time of 4 months from purchase date. do yourself a HUGE favor, go somewhere else.

I usually do not post reviews but I want it to be known that they are extremely rude at this location. I went in and I don’t know if it’s because I was wearing casual clothes that they did not say hello nor bother to come help me at all! I went up to an associate and had to request help and then she walked me over to another man that told me he would come after he was done with a client so I agreed, I waited 20 minutes and meanwhile I seen two associates passed by not questioned me at all and stand in front of the furniture door entrance waiting for clients to walk in. I finally got tired of waiting so I went up to them at asked if they can help the lady had no idea what she was saying and was very unprofessional! I ended up telling her never mind and I found the item online for CHEAPER! I encourage to visit a different location because the staff is poorly trained!

Over the last few weeks, my wife and I visited several furniture stores, ( Living Spaces, Crate and Barrel and even other Ashley stores). Dan, who helped us at Ashley Furnitures in Concord was by far the best! He greeted us right away soon as we entered the door and made himself available whenever we had questions without being pushy. We weren’t looking for big ticket items, otherwise we would have been interested in their finance option which if I remember correctly was zero percent for up to 5 years depending on the the amount you’re borrowing. The place is nice and clean
Went there to buy a a specific kind of couch, 3 cushion and couldn't be more than a certain size. The store was huge and my mom and I would've been in there for ever if it weren't for Fozia. She took us directly to the 3 cushion couches they had. She was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and honestly a lifesaver. This was our 3rd furniture store of the day and the first time there was any actual costumer service. When I need more furniture, I'll be going to Ashley and making sure Fozia is working that day.

Just bought a mattress at Ashley Furniture and was assisted by Amy and I have absolutely no complaints with anything. The customer service was great and Amy was very informative and helpful throughout the whole process. I will definitely be coming back for any furniture needs and recommending friends and family.
We came in to Ashley’s Furniture Store on Trinity Parkway in Stockton to look for a new mattress. Zach greeted us took us back to the mattresses and was able to explain all the differences. We appreciate the time he gave us and will return for any other home needs we have. We truly appreciate his professionalism, and appreciate him being there on a holiday.
They really go out of there way joe is quite the best at his work and he speaks 2 languages Spanish and English very understanding person.
The delivery people showed up an hour early. They didn't call prior to showing up. Since I was in the middle of 7 other things, I didn't notice that they did not deliver the 6 shelves that should haven been included. After sitting on the phone for over 40 minutes, I was told that I would have to wait 3 weeks for a "technician" to come to my house to determine what I need. I have done thousands of dollars of business with Ashley in the past and have never had this much trouble getting what I paid for.
They don't answer they're phones and staff was unhelpful. Never again.

Very poor customer service have been trying to get a hold of management to express my concerns and no one has called me back. Live agent forwarded me to survey when I was on hold and now when I call goes straight to survey. I told salesperson what I was looking for and was told thats what I got. Another salesperson said it was not. When delivery arrived it was incomplete and had to go through hoops to get the last item a couple days later. Nice furniture but very poor customer service we feel taken advantage of and will not recommend family and friends here.
my wife and i are in the middle of buying a house and looking to get some new furniture. we'd been shopping all day, visiting several furniture stores. we stepped through the doors at Ashley furniture, we were greeted by Zach, a sales associate. he was, by far, the most helpful person we encountered that day. he offered opinions, was a no-pressure-salesperson; he was a great sounding board, courteous, and was very knowledgeable. as we are still in the middle of buying the house, hopefully closing soon, we left with just a coffee and side tables. but when we return for the larger ticket items, we plan on going back to Zach.
My experience was great in the store and then when I got home to review the bill - I was charged $349.99 for local delivery and was never told there was a few. I asked throughout the whole transaction about different fees and this was never told to me. I think it would be nice to know that upfront.
The salesman Tran was very honest and want us to know exactly what we were buying, he made special notes so incase there was a question about the financing and warranty he wrote ,in simple English , the manager made sure the sale was good for us.
I received professional, courteous customer care at Ashley HomeStore in Stockton, CA. Kelvin Lee, the Store Manager, made my purchasing experience the best! His friendly, good natured demeanor makes me highly recommend him and Ashley HomeStore to family and friends.

So where do I began .... I waited an entire month and some change for my son bed frame and when the date actually came they never showed up !!!! I call customer care they say they don’t know what happened. Mind you I confirmed twice one on text and the other with a representative. Instead of them getting my bed to me ASAP they re schedule the delivery date to a week later! Never ordering again. If I could give zero stars I would.

Went in to buy a table and couch, when we walked up to the front to get someone to help a heavy set man looked at us turned around and walked away so he didn't have to help us and im pretty sure it was because of our skin color. Never ever will i back again

We have not received the item we ordered yet so I cannot respond to the features or benefits of the product we ordered. With regard to the service, I have to say that we are disappointed with the calculation utilized to determine our cost. We were going to purchase a bed frame that would not work for us because the salesperson was not informed on how our adjustable bed operates. We returned home to obtain our payment method and observe how our Cal King bed has a hydraulic lift which would not work for the sleigh bed frame we wanted to buy. We returned to make a different selection that was approximately $275 less than our first option. However, the order was calculated so that we only received a $100 savings between the two purchases. Once we got home and reviewed the order we realized the first purchase was calculated by line items and the second purchase was listed as a package that increased the price. Needless to say, we are not pleased with this sales tactic. We may not return to Ashley again because of this calculated effort to squeeze every penny out of the customer to enhance their profit.
Very unsatisfied with customer service and the things I had to go through. To start off with lying to customers. They told me I would be getting my living room set in no more than 6 weeks and two days before the delivery date I get an email telling me that the delivery date had to be changed due to not having all some of my items. I emailed them back and never heard from them. Then instead of you guys contacting me it was the other way around I was the one calling and going to the store and it seemed like every person I spoke with would just pass on the buck and I would not get a straight answer. Then they told me I would get a credit of $200 and when I went to the store the manager said they never approved it so they said they could only give me a $100 credit and that I would be getting a phone call to give me a new delivery date once again they failed to call so I had to go to the store to find out that one of my furniture set was already discontinued. I had to pick a different living room set and the 6 weeks turned into 8 weeks. I did get a discount but honestly was not worth the waiting time, frustration and the hassle of going back and forth with Ashley employees.
While Ashley furniture is not the best quality, they do have good looking starter furniture. I ordered a couch and have been waiting for a month for delivery. They called me the night before delivery to say they could only deliver part of tge couch. When they delivered the first part, they said the remaining pieces would be delivered a few days later once it was processed through the warehouse. I called Thursday because I had not been called with the Friday delivery time. When I called, they had no idea what I was talking about. I was transferred to the store and they said they set me up for delivery on the first available date, Saturday. It is now Friday and I yadn't been called with Saturday delivery time so I called again. Their system showed that all items had been returned and they cannot set up delivery because they don't know if I had been credited. They called the homestore and decided a mistake was made, AGAIN, and they could not set up delivery until they recreated the order. I called the homestore and I can't reach anyone because it is past office hours. No customer service after 5pm, WOW!! Unbelievable. Basically I don't know when I'll get my couch and thrre's no one whom is willing or authorized to fix this. My couch is sitting in the warehouse waiting to be delivered. Wouldn't it make sense to deliver the piece to fix the problem and fix the paperwork later. I know, MIND BLOWN!! Why is customer service so bad these days?!
Taking forever to get my furniture, they said 1 month until they get it and delivery it to my house, then i call 1 month later and they tell me to wait more (addtional 10 days) and still didn't get everything. Go to other same day delivery furniture store, i don't recommend these guys.

This is by far the worst furniture buying experience I have ever had! First the delivery guys knocked a hole in my wall and tried to cover it up with the couch! Then they set up my dining room table one chair had a gaping hole in it one had a large black stain and worst of all the table was very damaged it looked like someone hit it with a hammer. I tried to refuse delivery but the delivery guys said they were way behind and didn't have time to take it apart and take it with them, and for me to call customer service. Then customer service said I should've refused delivery! Total bait and switch, this was a $2000 set they sold me but unfortunately they gave me a bunch of garbage. Totally taking legal action.

Now that my refund finally processed after 13 days, I can tell my story. I will try to keep it short. Bought a couch with no intention of buying a couch late on a Friday night. I think it was 5/8 for context. There were very few people in the store because they had just gotten permission to reopen from Covid-19. There was some special about 40% off, potentially more if you used your own card (not their credit line). Jan, the sales woman, approached us many times and crunched numbers for us. After asking her manager, she got us a fair rate (even though online was cheaper and included free delivery but I digress). She took my information down and swiped my credit card. Not only did she spell my e-mail wrong, but my address and name! I noticed it on the paperwork and asked her to correct it. She had me write it down, but come to find out never did anything (this is relevant for later in the story) She said the sofa was backordered and not available for delivery until 6/21-over a month and a half away! I was okay with this. She literally provides me one piece of paper and my receipt and no other information about delivery or the warranty I purchased. I misplace that paper so then I spend the next 4 weeks trying to get ahold of Ashley's customer service. I tried 18 different numbers, their online chat and was placed on hold for a cumulative 10 hours. Finally, I was able to leave a message and a corporate person called me back unable to find my order number based off my email or name- I wonder why!!! They eventually used my phone number and located my order number so I could check the status. Didn't work on their online order lookup system, no surprise. Fast forward forward to June 9th, and I receive a text "Good morning it's Jan from Ashley HomeStore there's been a problem with your delivery things have been kind of iffy these days since we reopened again so all your furniture is going to be delivered on July 23 not June 21 so I'm sorry for the setback" are you kidding me 76 days from ordering?! At that point, I want to cancel and engage in weeks of back and forth with Jan about doing so. She makes me wait until the next day to see "if they can move things around to expedite my purchase". Didn't happen. I then request to cancel and want a confirmation of cancellation which I requested on 6/10, 6/12, and 6/20. Finally, after texting Jan 10 times, she finally gets someone named Kevin from the central office to process my refund even though she told me it was done on 6/14, 6/17 and 6/20. To date, Kevin has not sent the cancellation confirmation either. Ashley homestore is a joke. They operate their business in the most unorganized manner and lack basic customer service skills. If I lived locally, I would have been a true Karen and asked to speak to the manager. I will never shop there again and recommend others take their business elsewhere.
We purchased a dining room set. We had to pay for delivery and assembly. In just a couple months, the legs were all wobbly. I investigated, saw that the Allen wrench heads on the bolts are all stripped. I can't tighten them, they will eventually break off. What a crappie job for supposed professionals.
I was helped by Matt Z. He was extremely helpful and friendly! He gave us information on different deals and he didn't try to sell us anything that we didn't want to purchase at that time. Overall it was a great experience!
Non-existent customer service! Very fast to take my money but that is where everything ends. I scheduled my delivery on a Sunday so I can be at home for the delivery. I missed a call the day before the scheduled delivery and they want me to call back to confirm or else they'll re-schedule the delivery. I tried calling back and nobody answers. I called numerous times but the same result. the message on the phone said to go online and go to "message us" to chat with some one. I went there and after putting in my information, I waited for 30 minutes for the chat room to find an agent for me to chat with. I gave up and called the stores and someone helped me confirmed the delivery. I even confirmed the delivery through email. Here comes Sunday. I waited 2PM to 6PM nobody came. I tried calling the stores and customer service unfortunately they are closed early on Sunday. I went back to the store just to find out that the furniture I ordered will not be available till next month!!! I gave up and canceled my order. I think I said enough... DO NOT BUY YOUR FURNITURES HERE!!!

I ordered both online and in stores and have had problems with their employees being horribly rude & i'm still waiting on a purchase that i ordered 3 plus months ago. and it does not state that is on back order and claims it will be shipped in two to three weeks. costumer service both at this location (trinity parkway) & the 1-800 number are both rude and push you away instead of making sure you are helped.
My 80 something year old grandmother bought a leather chair on a Monday. Delivered on that Friday. She tries to sit in chair over weekend and is unable to do so. Goes in on Monday doesn't want money back just wants to return leather chair and get a different one. They refuse. Why can't they offer to take the chair back take a restocking fee from her and let her get another chair? Poor gal just wants a chair she can sit in. She saved and saved for a nice chair now she has a chair she can't sit in and has to save to go get herself a new chair. I told her to call me and I will take her anyway she wants for a new chair... except Ashley's. She isn't a scammer she is an old lady who just wants a place to sit comfortably.
Ashley Furniture has definitely gave me the worst experience ever. I purchased a brand new 3 piece couch set from them in January. Ever since purchased all 3 pieces squeek as if they are broken old couches. I have called multiple times and takes days to get a hold of them as after a 15 minute hold told they hang up on you asking to leave a message and no call back is ever received. A total of 3 technicians have came to my house with definitely no help. The first one told me customer care would never help me or take care of me. The second one said only one couch had a problem. The third said my couches qualified for an even exchange because they should not sound like this. I was told many times to await a manager call back never happened. I spoke to a representative and said they are awaiting manager approval for an even exchange then the returns department would reach out to arrange the exchange. I called today and was on the phone for over an hour to be told I cannot be helped and my exchange was denied. The only help I was offered to tear all my couches apart and see what is the problem, but was also told by the technician my couches would be devaluated. I do not find it fair to rip my couches apart when this was a manufacturer defect on their end. I also am working from home and have original hardwood floors and do not agree with my living room turning in to a warehouse. They should be picked up fixed and brought back or evenly exchanged. I wish I could request a refund, as they have the worst customer care out there. Personally, I am mentally drained with the wait times, different responses from each representative to end up with a no I cannot help you. At this point, I am considering filing a small court claim as noone else seems to assist. DO NOT PURCHASE AS THEY DO NOT COMPLY WITH CUSTOMER SATISFASTION.
To deliver the orders that are placed. Placed order twice, neither order went through and on my third try the item is now $200.00 more. No way to get a hold of customer service. I USED to buy all of my furniture through them.
I don't recommend buying anything from this place. This company's steals from their customers. They make you feel like everything is great and exciting, but when you get your furniture more than likely it's damage.You will not be able to return once your items are delivered/picked-up (even if your items are damaged).You will not be able to inspect anything if you pick up from the warehouse. Think twice about buying from this place. They have poor customer service and for this company the customer is NEVER right. I can't stress how much of a headache they have caused.
Do not recommend buying clearance items! I bought a outdoor seating area and came out broken ! One of the legs was split and glued back together . & I was not notified it was damaged!!!!!! If I can give no stars I would !!!

If I could leave you 0 stars, I would. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! From the sales representative, all the way up to the manager. Do yourself a favor if you are reading this and choose another location. My fiancé and I ordered a bedroom set from this location and were told it was backlogged so we had to wait a few months to receive it. We liked the set so much we ordered it right there and then anyway or so we thought. We opened a line of credit, filled out all the paperwork for the purchase and delivery. We were happily waiting for it to arrive. Delivery day comes and no furniture. When I called the number for the delivery I was told there was no such order number, they searched again and I am told that sales rep NEVER PUT THE PAPERWORK THROUGH! Mind you, I had all the paperwork I had signed stating an order number and delivery date from the store. I called the store, explain the nature of my call and after some time on hold I was told that somehow the sales rep who had "helped" me did not get the order in. I asked why I was not notified as they had us there signing paperwork, all which I had copies of, they had 2 phone numbers, (mine and my fiancé's) and an email address to reach me at and the receptionist said he wasn't sure. I asked to speak to a manager and was told he was with a client and I was asked to give a call back number. I waited 2 hours, no call. I called again and was told the manager was at lunch, again I asked for a call back. I called a THIRD time, the guy who answered, recognized me from my initial visit, lowered his voice to tell me the MANAGER DID NOT WANT TO GET ON THE PHONE with me because they recognized that they had messed up. I couldn't not believe it. The The Manager from this store NEVER bothered to get on the phone with me to address or resolve the issue. Apparently, this is ok business practice for this location. So now here I am with an open credit line for them and no bedroom set.

We had the worst experience at the Ashley's home outlet in Lathrop. Couldn't agree more with all the other bad reviews on here about bad customer service. First of all they never told us that we had to reply to a text message to get our furniture delivery. That's where the whole long process of getting our furniture started. Tried calling their customer service line and that was a nightmare. They delivered us used leather sofa out of the box and lucky the delivery guy was nice enough to tell us to not except it. But then trying to get another one delivered took another two weeks. For a customer that spent over $15,000 there my girlfriend got the worse experience with their manager Vanessa. She made a rude comment saying that my girlfriend wasn't listening which almost brought her to tears. That since we denied our king bed frame the first time, because it was a open box item that we didn't know that it might be damaged or not.That when they delivered the next time in a box they weren't going to assemble the furniture.Sure enough the delivery guys came in and dropped off the box had me sign the paperwork and when I went outside thinking they were grabbing their tools. I noticed their truck was gone and they drove away. I was like this is what $15,000 of furniture gets you for Customer Service. They're all a bunch of liars to get your money!!
Stay clear. Bought a leather couch on 2/15, broke the next day. Ordered a coffee table at the same time. Bought insurance but the insurance with the company is all fiction and lies. Purchased coffee table also, came broken, but not after being told three times that it was going to be delivered and was not. Spent all day waiting (two separate Saturdays). Now I'm practically two months in with a broken couch (still!) and no table. Have been on numerous calls, no one has the same story. Avoid at all costs. You'd have better luck going to the back of a Safeway and taking a dumpster couch home with you. This is place is the worst. Going to dispute all charges and will continue to pray this company goes BANKRUPT.

We came in looking for a sofa with recliners and a love seat recliner. Quang was our sales associate (and awesome by the way!). He took us to the area where all the sofa and love seats are including the chair recliners. He showed us different sets and was really patient with us. We were there for over an hour looking at different sets. We actually looked at mattresses and he had me lay on the ones I liked to make sure they set well with us. His manager and assistant manager gave us a huge discount for buying all of the furniture and mattress. I will definitely come back here! You won't be disappointed!!

The Stockton Ashley store is trash! If I could choose negative stars, I would. One star is far too many...Three weeks ago manager, Jessie Ramirez, PROMISED to call me back with an update and I'm STILL waiting for his phone call! His promise was recorded. Omega, another manager, gave me his personal cell number and said, "Don't deal with any other employees; only me." He never answered one of my calls or responded to any of my texts. Thai Tran straight out said, "Sorry, I forgot about you." Said he would call me in the afternoon @ 1:30 on a Monday. I didn't hear from him, another employee or a manager until Thursday! He sure had a good memory during that $2,300 purchase I made. Today is exactly one month since this nightmare began. Check back periodically for my updates. I, as well as many, many others, will continue to post negative reviews of this company for as long as this goes unresolved... There will be HUNDREDS of negative reviews on every social media platform available naming these three irresponsible, lying, unprofessional, b.s.ing thugs. Mitch Odom, Todd Wanek and other big wigs need to do something about the Stockton store. For others who have been screwed by Ashley, www.hissingkitty.com has some good reading...
I wouldn't recommend this place but if you do shop here pull up the prices online and have them price match on the spot.We went in there with items in mind but first asked if we could get next day delivery. The salesperson said it's available. We paid for items and were told that next day delivery was all booked but that we could have delivery 6 days later. Would have been nice to have been told that from the start.Two days later we were looking online for measuments and noticed that prices were up to $200 cheaper on some items we bought so I called the store for price match adjustments. We were told we had to come in.We drove all the way back to the store and were shuffled from person to person each one making sure we knew we were an inconvenience. I asked the manager Omega why they don't have a sign or tell people they price match and he said if they told us that then there's no use for the people that work at the store.(i agree. There's no use for them) he then told me that the only way they can price match is to delete the first purchase, causing us to lose the delivery date. The next date available would be 3/11 instead of 3/6.As much as that annoyed me, the reason I asked foe a full refund is because I know he was lying. I saw the delivery schedule and 3/5 and 3/6 were available. Omega the manager obviously would have fathered lost my sale than give us the company policy of price matching.Luckily I called American Furniture Gallery 8001 E Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95823 916-681-2811 and spoke to Patrick and he oddly enough was HAPPY to price match Ashley Home Stores website (they even carried the same set that I wanted) and they were able to deliver on 3/5. They even threw in the ottoman for free. I've never once come across a company that went out of their way to lose me as a paying customer. I'll absolutely never go back there. It's a shame because my son and I are each looking for new bedroom sets.

4 days later and still no phone calls and still have the furniture. Way to go....customer service is horrible. Do not shop at this store!!Jesse Ramirez the store manager is a joke. For 3 weeks my friend has been trying to get furniture picked up because it doesn't fit in her apartment. Promises have been made for return phone calls, refunding and picking up the furniture and they haven't followed through. They don't care about the customer but only their commission. Well, you won't have to worry about your commission soon cause you're store will not stay open with that kind of service. You wouldn't like this kind of service; treat others the way you would want to be treated.
The staff was very polite and knowledgeable Marissa was our sales person She was not pushy and helped us decide what we really wanted in our bedroom set and also what kind of material we wanted for our couch I found I forgot to order a piece of furniture and I called her up and she was very understanding gave us a great deal We haven’t received the furniture yet so hopefully there will be no problems in delivery

Worst customer service EVER. DO NOT BUY THEIR FURNITURE AND DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR PROTECTION PLAN SCAM! Their furniture is overpriced and cheaply made and will literally fall apart at the seams a couple of weeks after you get it. And guess what? If you don't pay for their expensive ass delivery, your manufacturers defect is null and void. Something they do not tell you. Their protection plan will deny your claims and are not helpful at all. I purchased a sectional couch and ottoman and with the 3 yr protection plan my total was almost $2000. That was February 2018. In February 2019 I called the protection plan service because the stitching one of the cushions had come out and was catching out our feet. The protection plan denied our claim based on the fact that the loose stitching was considered a manufacturers defect and advised us to call Ashely's customer service to have the stitching repaired. The woman we spoke with asked us for pictures and told us we would hear back in a couple of weeks. We waited months and never heard anything. We gave up and just let it be. After all... couch costs almost $2000, nothing else should happen, right? Wrong. My kids were jumping around in the couch and tore the back cushion completely off of the couch. So we again called the protection plan to file a claim. Our claim was once again denied because the stitching was never fixed by Ashley's. So we called Ashley's again to follow up on our initial claim and they are just now informing us that because we chose not to pay for their ridiculously priced delivery and instead opted to pick up the furniture ourselves, the manufactures warranty was null and void. Why wasn't this disclosed to us when we chose to pick up the furniture? Why wasn't it disclosed to us when we filmed our initial claim?!?! Why can't we get our couch replaced after paying for the protection plan?!? If you ask me, BOTH companies are SCAM ARTISTS. I can not believe how HORRIBLE their service is. How can they call themselves a legitimate company? Whatever you do, please do not buy furniture from here.

Big shout out to this place. I just bought a house and I need it furniture and they were extremely helpful one person in particular. Her name is Katie. So I'm telling you right now. If you ever go there ask for Katie. She's amazing. She can get stuff done and she understands your needs. As you explain them to her. But they're just all around awesome people. I would highly recommend to anyone that wants to get furniture to go there. You would think they're super expensive due to the name, but they're really not and the warranty and quality is above and beyond anything. I've seen you could actually smell the real wood. So again highly recommended, but I would ask for Katie.

I called twice in a different time to check the price on the furnitures I bought in 2017. Lost a receipt. Sierra answered both times and helped me with price. Actually she printed out the receipt and emailed it to me at this time. She was very pleasant and courageous. Willing to help me. What an awesome customer service!! Thank you very much, Sierra!!!!
CAUTION "10 Year Warranty" I would NEVER recommend one to buy furniture here. We got a mattress that was originally $599+ on sale for $299+ tax ONE YEAR AGO & a spring already popped out. Had a technician from Ashley come out & day "wow geez a spring ouch, people complain & use their warranty for it being too firm or too soft" & now a week later they are trying to void our 10 year warranty on this mattress due to some STAINS! I have a child (so of course overnight accidents happen) & a dog who sleep with me, & to have a spring already poking out of a $300+ mattress...Good thing I didn't pay $599+ for it! Highly disappointed & when I share this story with anyone they question "why are they worried about stains when it's not going to be anyone's bed" Truth be told, They look for ANY reason to void the warranty even when the bed won't be used & the "stains" won't matter.

If you purchase something keep in mind that ALL SALES ARE FINAL!!! ALTHOUGH THE RECEIPT SAYS OTHERWISE. I made a purchase on Friday and called back on Wednesday to see if I could possibly return it and immediately they young lady who answered the phone Snaped back "All sales are final!" When I mentioned the return policy on the back of the receipt, She answered back "well we have the right to refuse all returns and exchanges if we choose to!" BEWARE!!!

Nice furniture but to expensive
We were in need of a new living room set and while we were making arrangements at Home Depot for new carpet the guy suggested we go there. I went during Labor Day weekend and got a good deal. Everything went great with my purchase and delivery except I ended up getting the wrong rug but I decided to open it up an liked how it looked so I kept it. Well one of the ends wouldn't lay flat so I gave it about a week and it still looked defective. I decided to call the customer service line and they told me to take it to the store where I bought it. I did just that and when I got there I was told that they don't exchange rugs. The lady at the counter went and got the manager to make sure. I had it on the ground so they could see that obviously this was a defective rug. The manager told me that all their rugs do that so they let them hang for about 3 months before they showcase them. I came home with the rug and hung it over my upstairs railing. Well needless to say the rug is still defective after 4 months and we will have to go out and purchase another one because they refused to exchange it a week later. It's sad that they lost a customer and any recommendations for a probably a $60 dollar rug. I have paid the furniture off and I will be closing that account. We will definitely not be back there for any future purchases.
My mom told me "if you don't have anything nice to say....... " let's just say, the furniture looks nice, however it never made it to my house. Ever!!!
Very nice looking furniture. Was looking for a recliner & sofa similar to a relatives recent purchase there until we found out the sofa started to sag within a year. That portion of the extended warranty isn't covered and Ashley's has NO RECORD of that $2000+ purchase

Take your business elsewhere! Let me start by saying that the salesperson Kim that helped me was extremely nice and pleasant. But, that's the only thing that was pleasant for me. I purchased a 11 piece living room set and a 5 piece dining table set on December 3, 2019. Got it financed, walked out with the promise of a delivery date of Monday, 12/16/19 (for everything but my table set for my living due to back order). Requested to take time off of work so I can make sure that my furniture is taken care of. Kim told me I will be getting confirmation calls and/or texts 48 hours before and I realized on Friday, 12/13 that I haven't gotten a call or text confirmation for delivery. I then decided to call customer service (not the home store) and tried to get it taken care of. Customer service did nothing for me.. she actually had quite the attitude and even told me that she's not from the Northern California Area.. which uh, doesn't apply to me whatsoever. Anyways, I was transferred to the home store and was told there was nothing they could do for due to the trucks being at 100% capacity and that there was no one in the store at that particular moment that could go into the system to look into the situation further. As I waited 4 hours for a call back that I didn't receive, I decided to stop in the store to try to get this delivery date taken care of. I was helped by Sierra who called the warehouse and again, was unable to help me much but was able to get my delivery for Sunday, 12/22. Out of frustration, I agreed and left it at that expecting all my furniture to be delivered by 12/22. Of course..... on 12/22, I received a call at about 10 am stating that my dining table is unable to be delivered due to damage but everything else that I ordered should be delivered that day. Customer service I spoke to that day scheduled a new delivery date of Sunday 12/29 for my dining table to come. So here we are, Thursday 12/26 and I haven't received a confirmation so I decided to call the home store. When I spoke to Sierra, she stated that my scheduled delivery date is for 1/6/2020 and not 12/29/19 and again, the truck is at full capacity. Earliest delivery date would have been 1/2/2020 but I have a job and cannot take all this time off to sit and wait for my furniture that probably won't even get delivered on time anyway. So let's recap my timeline: 12/3: furniture ordered. Promised delivery of 12/16. 12/13: rescheduled delivery date to 12/22 due to delivery warehouse folks not giving me a courtesy call about my furniture not coming as promised. 12/22: couches and rest of living room pieces delivered but no dining table or chairs. Promised new delivery date of 12/29. 12/26: looks like dining table was scheduled for 1/5/2020 and not 12/29 as promised. Earliest date for table to be delivered was 1/2/20. Who has time for all this?! So at this point, I do not want to deal with this any longer. I cancelled and requested a refund for my dining table. What a waste of time and energy! It's not worth it people. You're better off going to a local furniture store to get probably the same quality anywhere without the headache of non-commutative deliveries and reschedules. I will NEVER go back for my furniture needs. If I wasn't in dire need of my couches and living room set, I would have cancelled that order too. Boo to you Ashley furniture.
Your employees at Lathrop and trinity parkway are so money hungry to get that Commission that they forget about making a customer happy. I can to totally UNDERSTAND "ON MAKING 100 $ commission.." but not a ridiculous amount of a 1,000 - 1,500 commission. On a 14 piece bedroom set. It's suppose to be 50% off right now but none of the employees want to make you happy. They just want to care about selling you it for the price of the ticket tag. Theirs no half off. Unless you only get the bed frame but no mattress. Ohhh yeah THEY ALSO WANT TO GET YOU TO FINANCE EVERYTHING I CAN COUNT 10 times the employee was like don't do cash finance it. Like no I bring cash. I should be getting a better deal.

About 2 weeks ago I went to the Ashley Furniture on Trinity Parkway and purchased a Recliner. The salesperson was nice but after that it goes downhill. The delivery time is the worse I have ever experienced. I usually go off of Wilson Way and buy furniture to support local businesses but this time I swayed and it was a mistake. The delivery time at first was between 11 am-3 pm, then it changed to 1215-415 pm, then it changed to 615 pm. I called the (209)313-2187 and got a lady equally as rude. It is 437pm and the drivers are on stop number 3 and I am listed as stop number 6. They do show you the picture of the driver and he is old. I can talk about ageism because I am older and you get to the point where you realize there are certain things maybe you should not be doing and Mr. Gillermo Ortiz should think about another profession if he wants to continue working. This was my first time buying furniture at Ashley Furniture in Stockton and my last time. I pay with cash and I will go back to supporting my local businesses that treat me well and deliver when they say they will. There are not enough negative stars to give you people. 12/14/2019 is the day you have ruined.

Service great at that location, product it is the worst. They came four different times same results damaged dinning room set, bedrooms set, missing a sofa, it's been more than 4 weeks to send a technician to fix a bedroom dresser no one showed up. Delivery times between 1:30pm and 4:30 they showed up at 6:30 with sofa back seat damaged, first time they forgot to delivery with the whole set 2nd times damaged. I will not recommend it.

Yesterday was the first time I had ever been in the Stockton showroom. Not only did we receive an amazing greeting, Katie went above and beyond offering my mom a wheelchair and showing us all the recliners the store had to offer! The sales process was simple and Katie told us to call and schedule an appointment for pick up immediately due to the holiday next week. When I had trouble scheduling, I called Katie and she had the problem solved within minutes! I will definitely return to see Katie, she is awesome!
I went in the store just to take a look and right away someone offered to help me. I told him I was just taking quick look. By the end of my visit I had found something that I wanted to buy and was asking for help to complete my purchase. This review is for Jan who provided excellent customer service once we were ready to check out. She got out of her way and helped us complete the purchase. I highly recommend this store and Jan's customer service!

I'm on day 7 (past my delivery date) of waiting for all the correct pieces of my bed to show up after spending 8k there. first delivery no headboard or footboard, second delivery no screws to put it together, third delivery no center supports. Now they are saying 5 to 10 business days to get the missing pieces. the to call them when the parts arrive by mail and they will send a team to put it together. Not a happy customer.
We had an awesome lady help up out in the Stockton store, unfortunately when it came to our delivery only got half our stuff on 10/17 had to wait 3 weeks for the rest of our stuff to be delivered even when it got to the warehouse 1week later and was told I couldn’t go pick it up was told they would deliver 12:30-4:30 no show or call until 7pm when they showed up. I will be going someone for any other furniture in our future
STOP! DON'T ORDER THEIR FURNITURE!!! The store employees are great and the furniture is quality but their installation and delivery department is an absolute CLOWN SHOW! Not only did they bring the wrong chairs to my dining room set but they brought the wrong chairs TWO WEEKENDS IN A ROW! Meanwhile I'm still paying for the chairs almost month later and they still haven't been delivered. Why? Because their delivery guys still haven't updated their software from saying the the chairs are "on the truck," and they can't proceed with my order until their delivery guys do that. I've been calling for a week reminding them to do that. They won't set up a new delivery date until their guys update the note in their software! You can shop with these people but GOOD LUCK GETTING THE FURNITURE YOU PAID FOR.

DO NOT OPEN A CREDIT CARD WITH THEM. I opened a credit card with this company when I first purchased my furniture. It was used a total of two times (within a week from one another). About a month or so goes by and another charge was put on my account - I opened an investigation and it was denied because "it was for a rug that got charged to your account after the fact..." I look at my total from when I made a rug purchase and it was when I was first charged (aka opening up the account). I opened another investigation AGAIN. But DO NOT OPEN A CREDIT CARD WITH THEM BECAUSE YOUR INFORMATION WILL GET SHARED AND THEY WILL DENY YOU IF YOU OPEN AN INVESTIGATION. Keep all receipts of your transactions. And file a police report with your local agency if you get a fraud claim.

The absolutely worst customer service I've ever received. The furniture is cheap and flimsy. We received a damaged headboard (among several other issues we have experienced) and have never received a follow up call regarding it. Don't bother with the additional warranty, it doesn't cover anything. The manager, Alex, is an absolute JOKE to the store. He was going to "take care of us" because of our terrible experiences. He never responded to a single phone call back. Coming from a customer service background, I'm shocked that Ashley would ever want someone like him ever representing their store.
I went about 2 weeks ago to purchase a sectional couch for my apartment, because my first set of couches did not fit due to the layout of the apartment. I went in with measurements just to make sure the salesman would help me choose the right couch and trying to avoid another waste of time and money. As I am browsing through looking at the furniture I am then greeted by Thai Tran from “Finance” and keep in mind I have not yet explored my options well. I am then pushed to settle for a couch I wasn’t sure was going to fit In my apartment entrance and I even mentioned to him about the situation with the layout we have at our apartment. I was then disregard with “our delivery team will take care of fitting the furniture through the door” as we finalize the paperwork I am then told and NOT asked IF I wanted 5 yr insurance on the furniture, and I then said “I don’t want insurance added”. I was then told very clearly “no furniture including the couch would not be sold/finance without the 5yr furniture insurance” and I actually believe it since said he took care of finance and it was one of the policies. When everything was finalized he didn’t even bothered to say goodbye or anything. I ended up getting 3 piece coffee table, 2 table lamps and a sectional couch that was not even measured and I was unsure if it was going to fit in my apartment. So 1 week and 4 days pass and I finally get my furniture and my sectional couch did NOT fit!!! I did keep the tables and lamps but I was so upset that the same thing happened and once again I was left with no couch! I am so upset with the service I was given and my 3 piece tables were not even put together well. I’m currently in the process of getting a refund and hopefully with the help of TJ I will get the right couch for my place. Word of advice DO NOT trust trust Thai Tran from Finance and make sure to ask twice with someone else. Totally regret wasting time with Thai the first time.

Ordered three counter stools to be delivered. After paying $69 delivery fee, only two stools were delivered. I had to pick up third stool in person from lathrop store after being dismissed from Stockton store where I originally made transaction. Unacceptable. Will not be spending money here again. I could not get a manager to even acknowledge the issue.

This store is the place to go when you're looking for furniture! I walked in with my mother this past Sunday and was greeted by the lovely T.J., smile and a warm welcome! I showed her what I was looking for (queen sleeper sofa), and she went above and beyond to not only make sure I would get what I wanted, but she even found a color that was better than the one I wanted! I just received my queen sleeper sofa and I'm so satisfied. If you're looking for great quality and wonderful customer service, go to this store! And if you're lucky, you'll be blessed to receive T.J.'s help!

We were very excited walking and searching through the nice furniture that is displayed. Alex was our sales woman and she was honest and helpful. The in store experience was just fine and the displays are pretty nice. The problem came when it was time for delivery. We were told that the items would be delivered on the 5th of September and only a couple pieces came. Then the delivery text stated 24-48 hours but no one ever contacted us. A week later I finally called them and found that we were expected to call in that 24-48 hours but it wasn't communicated. Now delivery was another week and a half out. Times were off on delivery notices and I had to battle to get it delivered. Finally a cool manager Eric offered me $200 return on my total cost for the issue. I still have yet to see the money but I will be contacting to ensure I get that. So. . . . Ashley Furniture is ok and they have a lot of options for good prices but don't count on getting your stuff as promised. If your patient, it could be just the spot for you to buy your furniture.
This place should be completely embarrassed and ashamed of themselves in how they treat their customers. My sales representative Fozia Khan was on her phone the whole time. And they were not business phone calls they were were personal phone calls. Now guess what? She's made mistakes that I'm still currently trying to fix. I shouldn't be in this position fixing a problem my sales representative did. Maybe get off your phone and do your job properly.
Although we recieve great help from there employee Sal, it was disappointing to not have been told our furniture would be delivered so late from the get go. We definitely would of shopped around. We wanted our couches sooner. Much sooner. Well maybe they will give us something to accommodate us???
For starters, Their pricing is all over the board... I had made a purchase and went back a few hours later because they agreed over the phone that they would price match their online price (which was $400 cheaper). Upon arriving to the store, filled out a form and was told I would be called in 7-10 days to process the credit. Really? This should be able to be done on sight..... No call every took place, when following up gave all the information again, and still no call back. Inconsistent pricing and terrible service. Just too hard to do business with and they are not customer focused. Shop elsewhere folks.
This store not only has great, high quality furniture collections but also excellent customer service, fast delivery service. Amy is one of the best employees who went out of her way to help and make sure i find the furniture i need and wanted within my budget. She is highly knowledgeable, She did not pressure or talk me out but instead listened to me and was able to find furniture based on that and made my shopping experience fast and easy. I highly recommend Amy for anyone with furniture needs.
The service here at this location was great, we got a great deal on our bedroom set and even some added perks thanks to Alex the manager. Quang and Alex(female) tended to all our questions and provided us with excellent customer service. This the furniture spot to visit in the Stockton area hands down
Customer Service was Terrible. When we had purchased a table set . They didnt have anyone to help us to our car with the 4 pieces. They all stood around ( 6) and watched us carry them to our car. I'm sorry but I've been in customer service as a manager for 20 yrs. & if i was in charge of the store at that time. You can bet i would of been out there helping my customer that just spent 1000$ to her car myself. We went to R C Willey to buy our livingroom set the same day!!
Place is a rip off so I went in to get a mattress only because I don’t want to buy blind and the bed comes and it’s not what I wanted so we found a matter we liked it was $1,099 but came out to $1,249 after taxes and with the Labor Day sale so a few days have passed and I get a email for the same exact mattress I just purchased is $1,099 and after the sale price it was $618 online for the Labor Day sale so why would it be more in store and cheaper online I should of automatically got the same price that it was listed for online I will not be returning.

Couches September 2018. I also ordered coffee tables. They were backordered they said I would give them a couple weeks after that my couches delivered. Then it went from October to Thanksgiving to Christmas. I never received them when I finally called and said you know what what's going on. They said they no longer carry them. I was extremely mad I wasn't getting any help from the Stockton store or customer service. And bring after 2019 my husband wanted to buy a bed for my kids. We're just going back, another bad experience. So I went yesterday to get the dresser since they didn't let us purchase a dresser because they said we didn't have the available credit but we did. The manager was frustrated and apologized and went above and beyond and calmed me down and went above and beyond. . . how customer service should be. So thank you. Still 3 stars cause of past experience but thanks for making it better
Horrible customer service, my delivery came early than delivery window and because I wasn’t home, driver never even got out of truck. Now there is a 48 hr window before I can reschedule delivery... and I waited 2 weeks for this appointment. Sarah so-called management at the store was very rude!!!

She told me she give a a gift card for my inconvenience so I go pic the card up n check on my pillows n of course they aren't there so Sonia Checks for me n tell me I can pick them up tomorrow!! Bought 5 recliners and 2 tables from them. Bought the 5 year replacement plan, 1 of the recliners was broken upon delivery 0n 7/15. It took a week for a technician to come out and tell me it was broken, told me the part would arrive in 5-7 days. We called on 7/30 and were told the parts were on the way. Called again on 8/13 and were told the parts would be ordered tomorrow and arrive on 8/26. Asked to talk to a supervisor and he told us they would need to send a tech out to check the chair

I brought a bed and an entertainment center here, the appointment was rescheduled 4 times first time the rail was broken seconds time head board third time then gave me the wrong head board. When I got my entertainment center the first time we didn’t get the tv stand and the door was installed the wrong way!!! Do not recommend this place at all!!!
DO NOT SHOP HERE OR ORDER DELIVERY They have changed my delivery date now for the THIRD time. I’ve called off work to be home for delivery and they have changed it at the last minute all three times. Very disappointed with the customer service

I am writing this out of frustration I purchased clearance furniture in January 2019 I have also Purchased other furniture and other-items. I called a couple months after purchasing the Furniture and no return calls finally went in And was told by the manager they could do Nothing wouldn't even look up my purchase The management they had previously worked With customers and had great customer service. Not sure what has happened to New management Very disappointed and wouldn't recommend buying Anything there I was never told there was no warranty On the furniture I purchased I wouldn't have purchased It if I would have known. Terrible customer service and I thought it was a great Place to buy furniture until they changed management And no longer care about there customers. Unhappy customer
We purchased approximately 10,000 dollars worth of furniture from this store when we bought our new home. The couches that we purchased started falling apart after a couple months. They are made with terrible quality and not meant to be sat in everyday. Ashley's had technicians come out multiple times to "fix" the couches, only to go back to the same condition in the following weeks. This went on for a couple of months. All they said they could do is give us new cushion covers, which doesn't solve the problem. And the couch is still under warranty. We spoke to store employees about 5 different times and were not able to get a hold of manager. No one ever calls you back or returns your messages. As soon as you make a purchase, they don't care about any problems you have. We finally went into the store and the store manager was completely uninterested in our situation. He ridiculed us by saying he does not know what we are doing with the couches to have had them in such bad condition and questioned our honesty. As customers we have never dealt with such dissatisfaction with a store manager. We will follow up with corporate to make a claim and advise of the unprofessionalism. I recommend purchasing your furniture from Costco. Avoid Ashley's.
If I could put 0 stars I would this was the worst experience ever no one calls to follow up promised that my bed would get here Wednesday it got here Wednesday but with no hardware now there saying it would take 7 to 10 days to get the hardware why promise a customer something they cant do and can't even follow up.
If I could have given Ashley Home Store a negative star I would! Called to check on an item sales person said the item - loveseat was on the floor. I drove over an hour to find that they did not have it in their store. Again prior to the long drive to the store, they also were going to price match from the online price well that didn't happen either. Spoke to the manager David the price was now $125 more than the on- line price. Super frustrating!

If it wasn't for Richard helping my fiancé and I out, we would've ended up not buying anything. Richard was extremely helpful and made us feel like family. He made us feel important and made sure to meet our goals. Eric the manager also made sure we were taken care of the minute we stepped foot in the store. We definitely had a great shopping experience and can see ourselves returning. If anyone plans on shopping at Ashley's soon, make sure to ask for Richard or Eric. Awesome guys that will find any and every way to get you the right price and make you feel like family.

Arranged the order and delivery date (June 9th). We communicated through writing and being patience with me being Deaf. Great job! May 27, 2019, I order 2 set of Derek Lamps from online and assured me that they will be delivered by UPS in 2 days without giving me tracking number. They never came and I got an email asking me how did I like the lamp set. I made several call attempts until I got a hold of customer service representative, was told the items arrived in Lathrop, CA which is 10 min away from my home and got tracking number to follow up with UPS. Saw my order was still in Lathrop, CA and waiting for it to go out for Delivery. Saturday, June 8th, I checked again UPS online using tracking number and learned it was arranged for return to sender. I immediately get a hold of UPS customer service and was told the label on the package was lost and suggested me to stop by one of Ashley Furniture HomeStore to have it re-send it. June 9th, In store orders arrived on time in the morning time frame after assuring procedure for delivery date through e mails and texting. I am well pleased with my orders. Later in the day, I went to Ashley Furniture HomeStore customer desk and explained about Derek Lamp set was send back to Ashley’s in Redland, CA. Sales Rep House did fabulous resolving by reordering and have it ship to my house and he would follow up with original order items in Redland, CA. UPS delivered on time and I have them all now. Thanks to both sales reps I definitely will go there again
Fozia our sales rep was amazing today since we have never bought new furniture before she was able to get us all the discounts with minimal financing and got us in an amazing mattress too. We are so excited for our new furniture to arrive our house will feel new again. Couldn’t ask for a better 4th of July sale. Special thanks to her manager too for adding some more discounts and getting us the fastest shipping. We really couldn’t be happier with our purchase and experience in their store

I am usually not a person who leaves reviews but we had the absolute WORST customer experience with Ashley. We ordered a brand new dinning set and received a damaged set what looks to be a floor model. The delivery driver was pushy and forced us to accept the delivery. Immediately after the driver left we called Ashely and notified them of the situation and their resolution was to send a repair person to fix the items. Now why on earth would we pay full price for a item and then have them repairs? I filed a dispute through my credit card company and now 2 months later I got a phone call from a customer service rep offering the same repair deal but in order to have my items repaired I would need to remove the dispute. When I told her I would not be removing the dispute her tone changed and said “we just wanted to let you know that no matter what we will be getting our money back”.
My husband and I went in with ideas of what we were looking for which were sleeper pullout sofas. The showroom is great! A great selection of styles. Had the sales rep ring us up for a sleeper sofa and continued to ask questions about the pull out. After waiting 5 weeks for a delivery the items finally come. The drivers didnt really set anything up as advertised. They delivered, put together my tables, took the trash and pushed for a signature. I had to stop them to help me move the couch around in my living room. Come to find out the items i thought i purchased was not right. The sales rep failed to order the pullout of the sofa. I went to the store and spoke with the store manager. We came to an agreement of a partial refund. It could have been done in 2 weeks but took 4 weeks to process. I think someone messed up on the processing because corporate tried telling me i was already half refunded. They put me back to the store and didn't hear back from anyone for 2 more weeks. i didnt have a bad experience but i could have definitely had a better experience. All the staff was great and didnt argue about what i did and didnt order. They definitely understood where i stood about my purchases. I would suggest Maybe followup calls to customer before delivery with a different rep, especially if the sales rep is no longer there. Almost like a check and balances. Not sure what happened in processing side. I would hope they dont do many if those. I still didnt get my throw blanket as they advertised in their packages but im not even going to bother anymore.
My wife just experienced by far the worst customer service we have ever encountered with any company. Our sofa sleeper had gram damage that happened before the couch was even delivered to the house. The movers assured her she would be able to get a tech to fix the cosmetic damage that was placed in this piece of furniture, without addressing the frame damage. When the tech came to our home he explained that Ashley does not return furniture and that she would need to call the insurance company she purchased for the furniture. They explained to her that she could not file a claim within the first year that Ashley furniture needed to take care of the claim. My wife tried calling the home store and no one answered. Online customer service said they could not help us. Cusumer affairs said they could not help us. Corporate said they could not help us and disclosed that the tech made notes the damages to the frame were customer made damages. They transferred her to a warehouse scheduler who did her best to try and help my wife with the resources she had and was unsuccessful. By far the worst experience, we paid $1000 for a broken couch that Ashley Furniture has made almost impossible to have any customer service help.
I was helped by Associate Fozia in helping me purchase a mattress I needed for replacement. I needed extra firm mattress and Fozia directed me and helped me with the purchase. She was very attentive but not aggressive like a car salesman/woman. I had a pleasant experience thanks to her help and will come back if I need anything.

This review is based off of the customer service for TJ and not off of the company itself. I came into Ashley's on 5/02/19 wanting a living room set for my apartment. I knew what I already wanted and TJ helped me out. She was very friendly and informative. As we were going through the options of delivering of picking up my items, I chose picking up. The warehouse was not that far from my parents house and my girlfriend and I work crazy hours so we are unable to wait for the package to arrive. She informed me of the process of picking up my items in full detail. She even gave me her number to contact her for any issues. I called the warehouse to schedule my pickup date and time. They even gave me a confirmation call for my items a day before. They also let me know that there was a back order on my item because it was damaged during delivery. When I went to the warehouse to pick up my items, I was able to get everything except 1 and they also informed me again that it was damaged from delivery. They gave me a date of when the item would come in and I schedule a pickup for it. On the day before my delivery I received a call from the warehouse saying that my item was damaged and it was back ordered. This time they didn't have a date of when the item would come in. I contacted TJ on the issue and she quickly hoped on it. She contacted me and let me know that the warehouse was going to give me a call to schedule an appointment for pick up. I scheduled my appointment date and received another call a day before my pickup date that again my order was back ordered. At this point I was all "WTF is going on?" I contacted TJ and she let me know that the item was very popular and she was going to keep in contact on getting my item for me. A few days later TJ contacted me to let me know that my item was available and to give the warehouse a call. They weren't answering at the time so we both called to better our chances on getting a hold of them. TJ was able to get to them first and informed me that she let the warehouse know about my previous appointments and they will call me. I received a call from the warehouse and scheduled a date for a pick up the next day. Again I receive another call from the warehouse that my item is again backordered. I contact TJ and she contacts the warehouse. She informs me that her other customers that bought the same set after me have gotten all of their items already. She also tells me that the item was given away to another customer who did not set up an appointment. At this point she is upset as I am and will let me know when my item is available. Fast forward to today 6/15/19. I finally have my item and writing this review for TJ because her customer service is top quality. Below I'll leave recommendations for future buyers. 1. See TJ! She will take care of you! 2. If you schedule for pick up at the warehouse schedule for the earliest date and time. Take some time off of work if you need to. 3. If you schedule for delivery, request the day off. I hope this review helps!

Erika at the Stockton home store was so sweet and helpful. This is my second purchase from this store. And their customer service is beyond amazing. Both Erika and her manager Austin worked very hard to give us the best deal. I feel the Ashley Furniture really cares about their customers and their employees. My sofa and reclining chairs are sturdy, super comfortable and look great in my livingroom. Great experience.
Walked into Ashley today to just look and get a feel for what I wanted to purchase after having reviewed a ton of different sectionals across many sites. Jessyca Vasquez was my specialist who listened to what I was looking for and directed me towards the different sectionals and gave me a breakdown of how it worked, if I liked certain pieces I was able to customize my specific sectional! She let me walk the floor without pressuring me and allowed me to make my decisions on what I was looking for and within range! She did a great job and I ended up going with an ultra plush sectional that I sank into and it was a great deal. I was also able to get my dresser that I was in need of. All while feeling no pressure. Awesome experience with Jessyca!

Terrible service bought a bed for my grandsons paid for delivery and setup they didn't bring all parts needed to complete the job I paid for told me I had to wait 7 more days until they come back then told me to have my grandsons sleep on the floor until then . Also manager Austin is just as unprofessional as the delivery people so I called Corp still got the runaround. So I will be filing a suit against them this totally uncalled for ! This is how they left my house stuff everywhere All I want is my money back and that's also a hassle

Our initial experience with David Bastos was very good, we took my mom to get a couch and ended up purchasing one our selves. Everything went well until delivery, since we live on the same street as my mom they would be delivered at the same time, well I got mine first thing in the morning, my mom waited and waited and finally called and was told her order was canceled, no one called to tell her, she called and talked to 4 different people all said they would call her back, it's 7:00 pm and no phone has called. We were told to make sure the old couch gone when they delivered which we did but now my mom's brother and his family are going to be here tomorrow from out of state and no place to sit. I called for my mom and of course was upset that they didn't have the courtesy to call I apologized to the girl because it's not her fault but when she told me to call back later when their system was up, I said why doesn't someone there call her back she spent a pretty penny, they hung up on me. I will never do business with them again!!!!!. That's not right!
Horrible experience with Ashley delivery and customer service. I had a delivery window today between 1030 am - 230pm, no one showed up. I called customer service to get a refund and I was told I had to go in store. They wouldn't give me a refund of the delivery charge alone so they gave me the option of canceling the entire order, which is what I did. Go to United Furniture, delivery is at least free.
This place is horrid. Most unprofessional staff in furniture retail that I have ever encountered. Especially Samina, she was incredibly pushy and inconsiderate. They just want your money, and once they've gotten it, the phoney service and their pretending to care ends. Meanwhile, a few doors down in the same shopping center, you can shop for furnitire at Cost Plus World Market. They don't have as big of a selection as Ashley, but they have some really great variety. The prices are pretty reasonable too. I have a dining table and chairs I purchased there several years ago that have held up great! They also have some awesome Outdoor Furniture this time of year! And for such great prices. So before you go waste your time at Ashley, go check them out first.
I wish I can give this place a 0 star because this is what they deserves. But Yelp won't let me give them a 0, so they get a 1. So I went in and found something I really like and placed an order on a bedroom set (bed frame, mattress, and 2 night stand). But after talking to friends and families, they told me I could found the same items cheaper somewhere else, even tho they price match my items online and with other local furniture store. But I found the same items at American Furniture for way cheaper than Ashley. Well 2 days later after my order, my husband went in and cancel the order. The Store Manager let him know that a 909 number should be calling about my cancel order and issue the refund back to my bank account. It been a week and 2 days and there was no call from a 909 number. So I called the store and talked with Chelsea about the situation and if she can helped me out, but this girl was plain rude to the fullest. Tell me that I must of missed a call from a 909, which I told her no I didn't get a called from a 909, nor did I missed a call. She said her little rude comment to me, which I'm still a customer of Ashley til I get my refund I won't be a customer anymore. She then gave me a 909 to called and asks about my refund, which was the wrong number to where I needed to call about my refund. So they re-directed me back to her again, which I told her it is a run around for me and I ended up with talking to her again. This place is messing with my refund and not trying to give me my money that I cancel. Also they needs to re-train their employees on customer some customer service skills or take a seminar on how to do customer services.
I went to change my sofa .Because my sofa was smelling too bad and the sections were dropping down even though it was only month I bought that .For the same reason ,I went to Ashley to talk about it .Instead of helping me out the lady sitting in the front name Fozia ,just made fun and took it as joke .I don’t think so there was any sense of making fun of us and the situation.I am sorry to say but this is really the worst service.Everyone over this place are really helpful but taking this situation for making fun or as silly is not good 😭😭😭😭😭😭

As I entered Ashley I was swarmed by sales people! Usually a negative. However, in this case not. They all saw I was moving slowly as I had just completed my regime' of Physical Therapy for heart disease. "Can I get you a stool"?, "Would like some water"? "Stay put, I"ll get your paperwork and take-home packet"? and "Can we help you to your car"? Awesome shopping experience!! Kudos to Iilene, Duane, Joan, Maria, Rence etc. GO ASHLEY JON
I wanted to so very badly like this store. We purchased our bedroom set and our living room set (sofa, couch, chase lounge, and ottoman) and I have to say I am SO DISAPPOINTED! Do NOT purchase you furniture from Ashley. Maybe their kitchen tables are good, but never something you'll use for comfort everyday. Bedroom set started making loud squeaks just from sitting on it to put your shoes on or simply taking a breather. It's so annoying! Living room set is the worst! I paid a pretty penny for our living room set which consist of four pieces (see above). Not even a couple months of having them, the arm of the loveseat started to squeak (much like the bedroom set). Then next thing you know the arm of the chase lounge started, and of course the couch's back started making the loud noise. It was embarrassing! After threatening to call the District Manager, they gave me a full exchange. I think these ones are worse than the ones before. The contract delivery men rushed, out the wood part of the bottom of the couches on so crooked, the ottomans thread on the corner is starting to bust, the fabric is coming apart... now the couch (3 seater) is making noise as you sit. I've had them for two months!!! I can't express the amount of "unhappy" I am with my home furniture! I hate the entire set, I hate going to bed at night! Now I have to fight to get a full refund for these annoying couches!! I'm so done! Spend your money elsewhere! PLEASE! You don't want the hassle!

the help sells person did help me out on my purchase but did not inform me that If I was to do a warehouse pick up. I would have to reassemble my own furniture. If I paid that much I least expect it to be built even if it was a pickup at the wear house. so disappointing. I'm never shopping here again.
Do Not buy from this Store!!! We purchased over 9k on furniture for our new home. We were told we were getting a great deal and some "free" items. We came home, I was very excited, and I text all my friends to inform them about this "great" deal. They asked to see what we had purchased so I went online to take some screen shots, and to my surprise Ashley's online had all the items for a much cheaper price!! In reality we were not getting anything for free, but instead over paying. I was so upset that I went into the store the next day and asked to speak to the manager. The manager then said, "our staff is not here to to do your homework, you are supposed to do your own research" I looked at my husband in disbelief! I said " your staff shook my hand and guaranteed me the best price!! So I expect that!" They ended up giving us the price that was online and it was a discount of over 1k! It took over 4 deliveries to get all of our items, due to them having to take a few back due to damages. On the last delivery our couch had small nail sticking out, at this point we were done taking days off work for another delivery. We asked that they send a technician to come and repair it over the weekend. Technician brought his 4 year old to work(my home) he explained he had no one to take care of him. Both my husband and I felt bad, but at the same time furious with just the way everything was going. When we purchased our furniture, we were talked into their finance special, where we would have no interest at all. So we went with it! Worst decision ever!!! Due to the refund they had to give us for the over charge. We were told that another account had to be opened with the correct amount of our order and close the other one. My husband's credit dropped by 40pts! We called Ashley they told us to call the bank we called the bank, and they said it was the way Ashley's created the other account, and now we had 2 accounts therefore it showed we maxed out and were over the limit. We went to Ashley's they told us they would fix it, we called them many times, but Never got fixed! We called corporate, i left a message, someone was supposed to call us back, they didnt. I called again and all I got was a gift card of $150 for a store that I never wanted to go back to! This was a year ago, why am I posting this now? Because I made the Stupid mistake of going back this year with my worthless, useless $150 giftcard! That deserves a separate 1 star review. If you want to hear lies, pay more, make alot of phone calls, take days off work, stress, headaches, then please shop at Ashley's furniture where you can get that and more!

So, I well taken care of at Ashley furniture Stockton. We visited the Lathrop store yesterday. The sales woman Maria was very sweet. We decided to to take a day to think about it. Later that night we saw what we wanted at a better price. We live in Stockton. So, we went into the Stockton store. We showed the manager the online price. He honored it with no hassle. We wanted to make sure Maria form Lathrop got the credit because she really did the work for the sale. Everyone in Stockton took great care of us. And they showed us that Maria would be given the commission. Which says a lot when they not only take care of the customer, but also take care of each other.

I went here with my husband a few weeks ago, lookimg for a couch for our living room area. We were helped by Quang and CJ, they were so inviting and extremely patient with us. They helped us find the perfect addition to our place, gave us a great deal and we got in home delivery, just came in yesterday and we are in love! this is our second purchase from here and we will be back again if we need anything else in the future! 100% recommended.
Don't believe Amy( Indian lady ). She's nice before you buy something from Ashley through her. After purchase she don't give shit about the services. That's what happened to me. She made promise with me to get me the discount Bcuz what I ordered was delayed almost 1 month so I called her to cancel the order but she said please please keep I will help you out after 1 month of delivery Bcuz system bla bla bla . So after 1 month of delivery I called her, and she said who are you after explaining my self hang up. What a service. Be careful from Amy or Emy ( indian lady )whatever the spelling is. Don't ignore the bad reviews and think oh it won't happen to me. It will!!! They will tell you everything you want to hear. First we went to the store and sat on several couches, picked a couch and set up delivery for two weeks later. The delivery was canceled by them after the delivery time had passed, set up a new time for 5 days later and asked for my delivery fee to be reimbursed, they said yes but never actually refunded my money. So, next delivery comes after I gave my other couch away and it's the wrong couch! Same couch but not the power reclining sofa we ordered, they tried the bait and switch technique! I refused delivery and went into the store the next morning to get a full refund started. Then they tell me David ordered the wrong couch and they would treat us like VIP's and blablablablabla!!! So we tried again and were lied to about a discount and found everything online for cheaper anyway! They won't give you a refund unless you go into the store and harass them and it still takes "3 billing cycles " Rence the sales manager is a fraud and all his staff lie to get your money ! Don't give them anything! Go to 209 Furniture on Fremont , they can custom anything Ashley has and will give you great service and respect your hard earned money!!!

Delivery was trash. Prices are high and they have inconsistent deals. One day they will say they can give you 20% off but if you talk to someone else you might be able to get 50%. The first person who you see at the door will walk around watching you till you sit on a couch and give a look as if you want it, then fly in like a hawk and start explaining how good the item is. You can't just browse alone. If they deliver an item that has scratches on it you'll have to wait even longer for them to bring you a new item if they can not fix yours. Spending money on an item that you'll have to wait to get for weeks and weeks. They changed my delivery time 4 times. Went from 8 - 3 to 11 - 3 to 12- 430 then to 10am, so you'll be sitting around all day wondering when they will show up.
I will never buy anything from them again been dealing with them since Nov 2018 bought over 4000.00 worth of furniture and still dont have it all they suck
we're pretty disappointed that these furniture failed us in a very short period of time as well with the set back and the inconsistency this company has provided us. We're very upset and shouldn't have made the decision to give Ashley's furniture any of our hard working money.

Purchased a mattress and frame and my mother and I were told we had to pick it up. . no big deal we got this but then we get there mattress is bolted to the stores pretend bedframe with NO proper tools to take it off. Also watched grown men continue to walk by as my mother and I struggle to get the frame apart and load into our van by ourselves! This place is horrible the so called "men" and manager are a joke! I have a few choice other words for them but I will choose not to use them here. . . . thanks to Dwayne the ONLY salesman that helped!
BUYER BEWARE if you are purchasing a mattress! What you will get is not what you will try out in their showroom. I purchased a Sealy pillowtop that was amazingly soft and comfortable in their store. What I got was a bed that was hard as a rock! I immediately (same day) asked to return it, but was told I couldn't. I asked to trade the the brand new bed they gave me for the old showroom model, but again, they said they couldn't do that either. Obviously, I feel like a "bait and switch" is going on here, because the bed they are selling is not of the same as what they deliver. . . and what a racket they've got going by not allowing you to exchange or return your large purchase, once you realize you've been misled and suckered! Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere with better business practices! UPDATE: We gave this piece of crap mattress away and went to Mancini's on Hammer Lane. We bought an Aireloom bed, and it is amazing. Because of our horrible experience with Ashley, we asked to purchase the floor model. They not only agreed to sell us the floor model, but they also gave us a hefty discount on it! We are sooo happy, and would highly recommend anyone looking to purchase a bed to skip Ashley and go to Mancini's!
If you want to know how this company works, their customer service, follow through on things and how they treat customer. It is the WORST. . . i have been having issues with them since last year. Store sales rep is amazing and she is very helpful and knowledgeable but the experience i went through with their mishaps, error wrong deliveries, service tech sent to wrong address. . . . it is a very stressful experience. I ahve palpitations just dealing with them. The corporate customer service is no better either. To call for assist, you will wait 1hr just to have someone pick up the phone. i dont know how this company thrives. They are a bunch of incompetent, poor customer service skills people. And that is reflected how this company takes care of things. Theh just want your money.
Their fulfillment customer service is a joke. Will give full review once I finally get my furniture because it will be a long story. Do not even try to help or sympathize with you, they just throw their policy in your face such as "I don't know why so and so canceled your delivery without notifying you. We have your product right here, so they shouldn't have canceled it, but since it is after 2 we can't add you onto our tomorrow deliveries" and say there is nothing they can do or they are not a manager so they can't override policy, but a manager refuses to get on the phone with you, so they have no desire to provide good customer service and make things right for their mistake.
When I walked in to the store, I was really amazed of what I've seen. First I was greeted by the most wonderful sales rep and very professional. Joan was her name and she did everything to help us out from placing the orders, to discount, and delivery. Oh don't forget to say Hi to her wonderful Mgr, He also was very helpful and very professional. This is probably the best experience I have ever had on retail stores. I am 100% happy with Ashley and I would recommend Stockton Ca Store and see Joan or the store manager, they are there to work hard to help u with ur furniture needs. Thank You Ashley`s for all ur help. I spent over $3000. 00 and willing to spend more in the future. Melanie Update. They were right on the schedule. It was delivered on time that they promise and the delivery boys were very professional and made sure that everything was in place b4 they left Thank You, and I can't wait for the rest of it. Beware ** I ordered a desk and paid for it a month ago. It was promised to be delivered on 21st December. Its January 3rd and there is no sign of the desk and now I am trying to get the date for the desk but now sales person stopped responding my texts. Especially beware of the salesperson there named "ILENE". Worst nightmare furniture buying experience.
