UPDATE: After my original review, I want to add an important development for anyone considering purchasing from this location. Ashley Customer Solutions closed my case claiming “lack of response,” which is false. I responded on January 25 and provided 8 photos clearly documenting the discrepancies between what was advertised on Ashley’s website and what I received, including incorrect dimensions, materials, color, hardware, and the fully unassembled condition of the furniture. Despite this documented response, the case was closed anyway. This is especially concerning because I contacted Ashley immediately upon discovering the issues, followed every instruction I was given, contacted the 1-800 number, and repeatedly attempted to work with store management. Instead of resolving the issue, I have experienced delays, deflection, and now an inaccurate claim that I did not respond. At this point, I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the California Department of Consumer Affairs, and the California Attorney General’s Office, and I have been advised that I may proceed to small claims court if this is not resolved. I have also disputed the charge with my bank due to material misrepresentation. This update is not about frustration or preference — it is about process and accountability. Closing a documented case inaccurately instead of resolving it is something future customers should be aware of. I strongly recommend that anyone purchasing from this location document everything, keep screenshots, and be prepared for difficulty if the delivered product does not match what was sold. -------------------------- I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this Ashley Furniture HomeStore. I made an in-store purchase on December 30 for two nightstands and a dresser totaling $554.21. Although the order was placed through Ashley’s system, it was completed with a store sales representative, and I was encouraged by the in-store floor salesperson not to purchase assembly, as I was told Ashley furniture typically comes mostly assembled and would require minimal setup. After waiting nearly two weeks for delivery, the furniture arrived fully unassembled and sealed in closed boxes. As soon as I opened the packaging, I immediately noticed serious discrepancies and called the Ashley 1-800 customer service number right away. The furniture delivered was materially different from what was advertised and represented. The dimensions do not match the published specifications, the color does not match the advertised mocha finish, the hardware is not gold as shown, the materials are inferior, and the construction does not match what was sold. During my call with customer service, I was told that because the order was placed online with a store representative, it was considered an in-store purchase. I was advised that my only options were either to select an exchange in-store for items of similar price or to speak directly with store management to request an in-store credit. This is the reason I began contacting the store. I was also told that I should have “waived the right” when the boxes arrived at my door. This made no sense, as the furniture was completely unassembled and sealed, making it impossible to inspect dimensions, color, materials, or construction at delivery. I spoke with Cindy the in-store customer service Jan 10, when I received my item and made multiple attempts over two days to reach the store manager, Steven, after being told he would contact me. Despite repeated calls and follow-ups, no one from store management has reached out to address the issue. I was denied a refund or store credit and left without a resolution after being sold furniture that does not match what was advertised. This is not a matter of preference — it is a case of misrepresentation, poor communication, and lack of accountability. I strongly advise others to document everything carefully and be aware that resolving issues with this location may be difficult if the product delivered does not match what was sold.

Stevie was great! Loved her personality. She never was pushy. We had a great experience. We end up buying the Leesworth leather recline sofa and loveseat, plus coffee and end tables.

DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR PROTECTION PLAN/WARRANTY—they do not honor it. When I contacted them for assistance, the representative immediately became confrontational and unprofessional. I was spoken to rudely and made to feel at fault throughout the entire interaction. Given the pricing, the level of customer service is unacceptable and not worth the cost.

Keith is an incredibly honest and sweet person. He made the furniture-buying process easy and stress-free and never pressured us at any point. His transparency and kindness made my family and me feel truly comfortable and confident in our purchase.

The purchase experience wasn’t good The sales person Angela was very helpful However, after it came to start writing it up, dad the worst time trying to get things squared away to close the sale and write up the paperwork I had to come back the next day they couldn’t find the order they rewrote it. I hope Angela gets the credit for it and they made me wait another hour. They really didn’t know what they were doing. It was a total circus.

Very fast and convenient from the sales team to the delivery team

It took way longer than it should have to purchase our items. They called me back after we left the store and asked me to come back because they forgot to have me sign in some places. We just had the delivery done yesterday which was very smooth but we were missing an item. Turns out the Stockton store never put it on the invoice. I don’t even know if I want to go back and repurchase it because the delivery is in Reno, NV.

We love our furniture, it was delivered on time and as promised. The team they set it up was well kept, Professional and did a great job.

I had excellent service as soon as I entered the storeroom. After I had chosen my furniture, I was given a good name of a removal service. The furniture was delivered within the window and done very efficiently. I was very satisfied.

Great but did have an issue with one of the drawers not closing properly hoping to get it fixed.

Worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with ordered a closet organizer and it was put on back order and when it did come in it was the wrong item! When I called thinking this is an easy fix they said a specialist had to review my case and I wouldn’t hear anything for 3-5 business days. I explained I wasn’t happy with this response since I’d already waited and they said it’s all they can offer. I was denied being able to talk to a supervisor, I was denied a refund till the 3-5 business days, I was denied the correct item with a hold on my credit card until I returned the wrong item, finally I was offered I return the wrong item then receive a refund which I denied bc at this point I’m doubtful I’ll get a refund. Ashley’s blaming the distributor as to why they can’t help me! There distributors is there problem not the customers! As of right now there is zero resolution on a 450 dollar purchase!

Sales person was very helpfull. We purchased $3000 of furniture. All was well until they delivered a damaged coffee table. The Store would not help get it replaced and had nothing to say about it... Ashley sent a Tech to look at damage and he said it needed to be replaced. Ashley did not approve of his opinion and wanted to send another Tech to look at damage and I said No to their game. This stores reply was that there was nothing they could do. And they did exactly that, Nothing. Remember this was a Newly delivered table. So be careful when buying from this store or any Ashleys. If damage items arrive on truck , Do not accept and tell deliver to take back.

Must say 5 purchases in 5 years. Quality mid but let’s talk about the scam of warranty, the none willingness to get to a manager from associates and no discounts refunds or warranty coverage on a covered product which they should explain limited warranty better instead of bullshit add ons for sales. Brand new bed frame not covered had to repurchase toe board no discount no refund no support. Installers couldn’t take old footboard from bed frame their very ninety accommodating. We don’t even have a truck. Last purchase I’ll try BOBS , LIVING SPACES , FURNITURE PROS , IKEA DONT buy Ashley’s. Three bed frames , a kitchen table and one couch later I’ll never pay ease again they’ve failed the customer yet again. We work hard for our money.

Went in to purchase an item that happened to be the last one available, so I had to take the display. No big deal I’m sure the quality of it was good. However, it was huge and heavy and no one was available to put in my vehicle. Sales person said it was a liability to cross the door. He told me to bring my own people to carry it out to my car…. I am 5‘4“ with a baby unable to lift so I walked out without making the purchase and went to Bob’s next-door where they gave me free shipping to my home.

I purchased a sofa set from Ashley Furniture just over a year ago, and I regret the decision. Within months, both recliners started malfunctioning—the mechanisms became noisy, uneven, and eventually stopped reclining altogether. For a product marketed as durable and comfortable, this was a huge letdown. When I reached out to Ashley’s warranty department, I was met with delays, vague responses, and a frustrating lack of accountability. After two months of waiting, the replacement parts finally arrived. However, when the technician came to install them, he informed me that he couldn’t complete the job and that his supervisor would need to handle it instead. This added yet another delay to an already long and frustrating process. The entire experience—from the premature breakdown of the furniture to the poor customer service—was disappointing. I expected better quality and support from a brand like Ashley. I won’t be purchasing from them again, and I wouldn’t recommend their products to anyone looking for reliability or responsive service.

I am new to the Stockton area haven't met many people both salesman at 10904 Trinity Parkway Stockton store greeted me with a big warm smile and great customer service. I definitely return to shop more with thanks and appreciation. Plus they even liked my hat. Satisfied

We had spent several weeks looking at furniture at various stores. We went to another Ashley store. We explained we were not quite ready to place the order but wanted to pick out what we wanted. We made a deal with the salesperson and said we would be in to place the order in about 3 weeks. We went back and were not treated kindly. We left and decided to give Ashley at Trinity parkway a chance. Jennicka was great. She treated us warmly and showed us how to read the sales tags. She then said to look around and she would check back with us. She was extremely helpful. We explained that we had been to another Ashley store and did not like the treatment. One of our problems was with the mattresses. We were not comfortable with the mattress at the original store. Jennicka provided 2 mattresses that fit our needs. She explained the differences and we chose the one we wanted. Once we had completed our cart Jennicka brought in Dan to go over the deal. We were pleased with the bottom line and agreed to return in 2 days to pay and set up delivery. Everything went so smoothly. Thank you to Jennicka and Dan.

Ordered couch from Ashley and delivery arrived at my house. The people delivering it didn't speak English but were able to communicate to me that the couch wouldn't fit in my desired room through the door. So they left with the couch and I received a call from Ashley about 15 min later and they said one option was to cancel the order and I asked how much will I be refunded? They said they couldn't see that information. I said okay refund me please. A few days later I got an email saying I was still being charged for the delivery fee. I called customer service and they said there is nothing we can do. So they are charging $107 for a couch I never got delivered. I would shop elsewhere if at all possible. I will never spend money with them again.

Jeremy was a great help. My wife and I went to 4 stores in Stockton looking for a bedroom set. I appreciated that he asked us what we wanted and stuck to showing us what we wanted. He gave us our pricing in store with a discount but didn’t try and tell us we needed to buy the furniture right there and then to lock in discount. He was not pushy at all. Being able to call and purchase the furniture we liked later in the day after visiting other stores was convenient too. Way higher quality furniture then some of the other stores we visited in Stockton.

We bought a new bed frameand dresser set. The bed frame keeps breakint. We did not get the 600$ warranty. But less then a year after buying it keeps breakint. I have to sleep in my guest bed. How is this ok!?!?!?

Are sales associate Jeremy was great. He was very helpful able to show us what we wanted. Did not try and sell us something different then what we wanted. The problem was with delivery. There was problems with the company they use to process credit cards. In the store when we left everything was fixed after running the card a number of times. Are delivery was set in four days. I waited all day no furniture. Texted Jeremy he said he would check, he finally got back with me. Told me corporate had canceled delivery do to no payment. The new delivery date was a week later. We went with out living room furniture for 10 days. I had no phone call from Ashley about there being a payment issue. Frustrating

She informed that store policy IS ITEMS NOT REFUNDABLE OR EXCHANGABLE. I'm hoping these lamps $99/lamp meet my needs. Picking items and paying was the easy part been struggling to get my orders for 3 days going on 4 now. At first I scheduled to pick up my items at the lathrop outlet but it wasn’t ready . Then got them scheduled for delivery for today. Not delivered been waiting all day. Called twice and was told they don’t have a time but that it’ll be believed by 6pm. It’s 8pm and I called now being told it won’t be delivered till March 20th 8 days from today and 10days from when I was originally supposed to pick them up. I don’t understand how it’s so hard to get something picked up or delivered if they have it in stock. If your purchasing something from Ashely’s hopefully you don’t need it anytime soon and can wait awhile.

I came in here looking for a futon, which they have online but don’t sell in stores, my salesman Bobby Lee helped me find a substitute in a sleeper loveseat, which is more expensive but it was another option I was looking at. Bobby was incredibly helpful and kind, and assisted me very proficiently. Today I was suppose to pick up my couch at the warehouse in Lathrop. I had a little issue with pickup and had to call Bobby, he helped me even though he wasn’t at work yet. Definitely seek him out if you’re looking for new furniture!!

I bought a Sofa and love seat along with cushions They promised me that it’s of high quality foam but just incase if it starts to sag we within a year we will replace the cushions. Within 6-8 months it started to sag, I called and called no one was there to answer. I went over to the store and complained about it they were so sorry and scheduled a time that they will come check and get the replacement delivered. I waited and waited, called left messages, no body bother to call back to reschedule it. I still have that sagging sofa which I’m trying to get rid of but no one is ready to take it. Very disappointing.. Now I buy from anywhere, like Wayfair, or Bob’s or even Amazon but not from Ashley’s.

This was my second major purchase from Ashley. Yulissa assisted me both times. She really listens to your ideas and vision for your home, and works with your space limitations and style preferences. I was very happy over time with my first preferences, in terms if comfort and functionality, which is why I went back!

Bobby, who is your elderly Bobby, came up to us as soon as we walked in the door. Was very pleasant to us. Introduced himself, shook our hands. Said he would be the one to help us. We told him kind of what we were looking for. He showed us lots of choices. We purchased a few items. He was very knowledgeable and very professional but down to earth at the same time. He made us feel comfortable! Quite a people person! We will definitely refer Ashley Homestore and Bobby to our friends and family. All the sales associates were very nice and friendly also!!!

Stevie was awesome, very easy to work with and very helpful. ALMOST everything has arrived on time. Kenneth however was extremely rude when I called about a bookshelf being shipped to an address I did not live at yet, and he laughed, said "I don't have time for this" and hung up. The in store customer service was horrendous. They wanted me to PAY 2 TIMES FOR AN ITEM THEY SENT TOO EARLY. I had to get in contact with their cooperate division just to solve the issue. TL DR. My experience at Ashley Furniture store was very wonderful the sales rep was very nice and friendly and talked about everything all my concerns will shop again maybe if the price is getting lower.

Loveseat still needs repairs for black paint on front of wood, chip. Cushion on loveseat is sewn crooked and the back seat cushion has a wide opening on side. Appears to have occurred when their repairman fixed back of wood. Not happy Ashley was supposed to call to schedule an appointment. Have not heard from them.

It’s a nice couch but it had splinters on the arm rest/back rest. It was also missing the feet and when I was setting it up I realized a lot of the nails or long staples as the rep called them were sticking out. when I tried to get a refund I was denied and was sent to various departments were eventually I was told they will not refund me. So now I’m stuck with a $900 couch that my kids can’t use because I’m worried they will get pocked again.

Delivery people were very courteous and professional. Took very good care of furniture and were very cautious on the premises. I would recommend them for delivery and set up again.

Says it covers pet fluid accidents but since they don’t see a stain they would not cover. I don’t recommend buying their insurance. Was a waste of $500

Absolutely the worst experience ever!!! Get your furniture elsewhere if you can!! It took a month to get a dinning room table. The delivery team missed 3 delivery dates, no call, no show. I had sold my dinning room table and chairs, waiting for this table and it did not show. I went multiple times to the stockton location to have it resolved, but delivery was still missed. Finally it was delivered after I said I would cancel the order. This was the worst experience ever, the team didn't even seem to care about the fact that my family did not have a table to eat on. Will not be coming back. (Update: table was finally delivered, it was scartched on delivery, they need to send a technician in a few days to repair)

My experience today 9/28 was amazing Keneth the store manager was amazing. I came in because I saw a Kitler 2-Piece Sectional with Chaise online for 450 but it was out stock online and the store had it but it was 1200 out the door after taxes and Jan who was the sales associate who was helping me checked to see if there was anything to be done but was told that’s an online price only. I left but came back in and asked to speak to the manager and that’s when I met Keneth and explained my situation and he did some research and was able to make it happen.

What an amazing experience I had here especially with the great help of Bobby Tillery.

We just had a wonderful experience at the Ashley‘s furniture store in Stockton. Bobby was our “trusted advisor” and he did an amazing job. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions without being in the least bit pushy. We were able to buy the perfect recliner and get it all set up for delivery in the next few days. Can’t wait to start reclining!

The Ashley showroom is bright and spacious. Furnitures have a good number of selections. There was a bedside table with phone outlets which is really cool to have. If it was available in the store, I would have bought it right there and then. Keith, the store associate, was very welcoming and answered all our questions. He understood when we told him we could not buy anything since we’re just visiting.

Great customer service and so patient when helping make our final selection on the products purchased. Stevie helped us and it was easy to talk to her…she was super friendly throughout the entire process.

Final Update: Ashley offered to do one-time exchange or return of this chaise to resolve this issue. Even though I was only asking for a technician to come patch up that unfinished section, they said their technician are unable to do so. As such, I have agree to return this chaise for a full refund. Thank you for working with me to resolve this issue. Update: After the delivery of the furnitures I purchased, the chaise i bought for $719 had an incomplete upholstery on one side. I was told that because it was part of sectional. Why would they sell sectionals in pieces if it will look unfinished? I can’t even move it to another area of my living room without that unfinished part showing! If i was told/shown that the upholstery would look like this, I would not even consider this furniture. Very disappointed with this purchase especially if youare paying $719 for it. To make it worse, Ashley’s unwillingness to rectify this issue by sending technicians to patch this unfinished portion up, even if you paid extra to have extended warranty protection. I am not even asking for a replacement or refund, I just want them to send their technician to patch up the unfinished upholstery on this expensive chaise. You may have nice people working for you but if your store sells substandard products such as this chaise, not give full disclosure/description to your customers, and refuse to rectify this issue, you will lose loyal customers like me. I was a repeat loyal customer up until now. Original Review: Mohamed is such a great sales person. He helped me patiently find the items I needed. He and his manager, Ken, were both very helpful. Great furniture

We bought our couch just over a month ago, noticed a cushion sinking down & we also caused a stain (our fault). We heard how amazing Ashley's warrenty is & that is why we went with Ashley furniture. I have been dealing with their Warrenty Company reguard (wich we paid very good money for) for over a week & they do not want to send out a tech, they acknowledged there is a flaw in the couch but will not address it until we clean the stain with a kit they are sending us to clean ourselves. After going round & round with reguard, I called Ashley in Stockton where we bought the couch and Karissa gave us flawless service this morning (which we received with our purchase from another wonderful salesperson) and she is sending out a tech person in the next 48 hours! Thank you Karissa & Ashley Furniture in Stockton! I appreciate you!

1/2 - loveseat was delivered 1/3 - the recliners stop working. They stick when going up, they won’t close, you have to stand up before they will go down at all. 1/4 - called the store to ask what we can do. I asked if we could get exchange it. The woman answering the phone laughed at me, said the couch was ours the minute it entered our home. She sets up a furniture repair. 1/9 - furniture repair person arrives. Looks at it. Says that parts are needed to fix it and leaves. And here we are 1/29- with a broken loveseat still. No parts, no repairs, and just rude customer service every time we call and ask. Apparently the parts are being mailed to us for Who knows where. They can’t say for sure, they can’t or won’t do anything. This couch is less than a month old. It is falling apart. The recliners won’t close, the cushions are deflated, the fabric is saggy. It is so uncomfortable to sit in now. It was less than 48 hours old when we called the store the first time and they still couldn’t do anything. The only time they will help you is before the item enters your home. Buy somewhere else. We have the warranty and extended warranty and it all means nothing.

Purchasing, customer service and delivery protocols should not vary in the business of retail furniture. By its definition alone; there should be a clear understanding that is too often taken for granted by perhaps both the customer and the retailer. I took for granted the items I purchased would have a smooth transition for delivery as it has for several years in the past. That experience is what compelled me to continue to purchase products from this retailer at this particular location. All of the attributes I mentioned have diminished greatly regarding my most recent purchase that has inspired me to write my personal review. My advice to perspective customers purchasing from this retail establishment is to make a concerted effort to ensure your delivery schedule will be taken seriously and have them demonstrate this to you the “day of your completed purchase”. If you do not take this precaution in advance you should prepare to be misinformed about your delivery until the "eleventh hour” that will cause a great deal of frustration for the customer. For me personally it has given me pause when considering purchasing from this establishment in the future.

Kieth was very helpful, patient, and took time to show me around the store and suggested many things. When I got a snag in pricing he helped me threw and gave me discounts were he was able to. I would recommend his customer service and sale experience for future sales purchases

I ordered a mirror and was told by the sales rep it would be delivered 6/10. I received a call 6/14 that I had to pick it up. I do not have the means. Poor communication and service.

I walked in and met the Sales Consultant, Stevie at the Stockton store. She greeted me with a smile, asked me what I was looking for, and immediately walked me to several selections. I found exactly what I was looking for and it was listed as a "Hot Deal". Stevie was very patient and kind, provided me an immediate estimate, and I made my purchase quickly. Delivery date was confirmed at the store and shortly thereafter by text. Very pleased so far.

My experience with this store has me convinced to never buy from Ashley again. They told me that the majority of my furniture would be delivered before Christmas, they confirmed the delivery two different times,the third time they called me on the phone to tell me that the warehouse would not release the furniture till sometime in January. In the delivery notice they told me to get all the old stuff out of the way, seeing as my delivery would be soon I took my old stuff to the dump. So now,when my company comes for Christmas I can invite them to come in the living room and make them sit on the floor instead of the furniture that was supposed to be delivered before Christmas. There you are,you asked me for a review so this is what you get. Merry fling Christmas!!!!!!!!!

I received the $25 from my test test from a few months ago and, for awhile, I forgot I had it. I used it today to get gas and I couldn't help but think about my experience at Ashley's. At the time Kienan and Vanessa were very helpful managers with working me out a great deal for my mattress and bed frame, but Mikayla was a very informative salesperson and made me feel welcomed. HUGE appreciation to Karissa and her mgmt team! Karissa is sweet and calmed my nerves immediately by listening and getting her manager involved to help me! I most definitely recommend this location and Karissa! Don't order online or you will have the worst experience if you have to find someone to talk to. My delivery was a week late and was charged white glove delivery for them to bring the couch in and assemble it. The neighbor was paid to help them bring it into the house and what they considered assembly was screwing on 2 feet...

When deciding between having a couch delivered or figuring out a way to safely get it in our smaller truck - Keith gave us a plastic wrap to protect the couch from getting damaged in our truck. I recently moved to a new house and thought it was the best time to buy some new furniture and to redecorate. I’ve frequented this plaza before because of all the food/drink options and so it made sense to shop here. I can be indecisive when it comes to furniture shopping because there’s a lot to take into consideration from style to comfort to price. Quang, the Store Manager, was very helpful throughout the entire process! He would ask me guiding questions and remained patient while I took my time deliberating. I returned to Ashley’s with not much hope because of a previous negative experience here but glad I gave it a second chance. The store manager Quan gave me the best experience. After I told him about my previous experience he apologized and made sure I was well taken care of. He answered all of my questions and even suggested some new ideas. I’ll definitely return when I’m in need of some more furniture.

I went in the other day to look for some new furniture, although I didn't purchase any at this time, I will be in the future. Karissa's kindness and hospitality made the experience a pleasant one, definitely will be going back!

Legendary furniture store. I found this place while trying to fill a couch shaped void in my life. Upon my visit I was greeted by Quang, the store manager. Quang's customer service and sales skills are unmatched in the industry, as he was very helpful to me in choosing my couch, coordinating delivery, and making sure I was happy all without pressuring me. Definitely going to be returning to this location next time I need furniture!

Quang was awesome. Great customer service. We came in looking for a bed and he and the rest of his staff made it so easy for us. We couldn’t be happier with our experience here, especially compared to the other furniture stores we visited.

My fiancé and I went to the Stockton location only planning to look at bed frames but not necessarily buy one, however the store manager Kenneth referred us to the sales associate Bobby and he showed us some really nice frames and managed to convince us to buy one that very same day. He was a very friendly guy, didn’t come on too strong.

I bought a mattress from Mikayla she did a great job explaining and showing me my options. I appreciated her help and love my new mattress.

Fantastic selection of modern furniture and very pleasant helpful floor employees. Mikayla was very helpful answering questions and I didn't feel pressured, plus I ended up finding exactly what I was looking to purchase. Definitely will go back again when looking for another piece of furniture. Edit: I needed to change my order as I measured wrong, and the friendly front desk staff were very accommodating and helpful - I'd give this store more than 5 stars if I could!
