I purchased an office set from this store on clearance. They don’t assist with delivery for clearance items, so I had to arrange my own delivery. However, their sales associate promised to have the warehouse guy disassemble my items to make moving easier. They failed to do this before I came and stated there was no warehouse guy available to take it apart on that particular day. This made moving my furniture infinitely more difficult. I’m not sure it was worth the money saved. Not happy with my experience with this particular Ashley Store.

Purchase was good. But afterward, we keep sending me the advertisement emails. I do unsubscribe and block emails. But emails just keep coming daily. Do you a means to curb the email bombardment?

Krista was very nice and knowledgeable of the merchandise. Also her manager and other staff were nice.

Customer service at the store is excellent. But the delivery service is bad. I refused 2 night stands because they were damaged, and they still left them, and the delivery customer service are rude when you talk to them on the phone. Now it's taking 1 week for a technician to come and see something that is damaged so the technician can request the replacement and we'll see how long it takes for the replacement. If you buy something and see that it's damaged, make sure you refuse it and don't let them leave it. Otherwise you will be waiting a week just for a technician and then more days for your replacements.

I been a Ashley customer for over 20years I purchased all my furniture from the fountain valley store great service and quality. Recently me and my wife stopped in the torrance Ashley location we purchased a sectional sofa most expensive one had it delivered received it not noticed that one part off sectional top and bottom was collapse we called and got a service man come out to fix made the problem worst I called the store spoke to the manager AL which was very nice when we purchased but now was very rude and advise they would send another service man well here goes another Saturday but OK no show no call I called the store they apologize and sent up another Saturday for the same results all I ask to make it right til this day all I hear is cricket s the right thing to do is replace damage sectional AL The manger is not the type of guy that should be representing ashleys you would od thought cooperate would make it right I work in the harbor I'm letting all my ILWU people know NOT To SHOP at Ashley poor service and quality save you a head ache don't shop at ashleys

We went in for a mattress that we’ve been needing for sometime. Had a hard time deciding until our salesman, Izaak Lopez, came along. His friendly and easy going approach, kept us engaged and made our experience there even better. Thank you, Izaak, for making a usually stressful decision, a simple and enjoyable one!

I would recommend anyone looking for furniture to visit Ashely’s Furniture. I visited 4 different furniture stores in the last few days and my daughter and I decided to give Ashley’s a try. We walked in and were greeted with a warm welcome from Jennifer (she was Awesome). She walked with us and gave information on the products we were viewing. She was knowledgeable about everything. She even distinguished between Ashley and their competitors. Gave us the pros and cons. I wasn’t looking to purchase everything yesterday but, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity on the great deal that Jennifer and her Manager Ali presented to me. My daughter and I walked away happy customers. Thanks again Jennifer for your patience and Ali for your management.

William is the best!!! He’s so personable, the entire time I’m thinking…do I know him?! lol he’s like a long lost friend who just happens to sell furniture. I felt no pressure to rush and make a purchase or that he was upselling me. Also, a gentleman who I assumed to be the manager came over and made sure William knew I was waiting as he finished with a customer. They know time is of the essence and I love that (even though I wasn’t in a rush). So yes, as a consumer who normally shops for my furniture online…this made me want the in-person experience more often!!

I bought a mattress from Ashley and I haven't tried it out yet but in the store it felt really good SO I bought THE mattress. when they delivered my mattress which they supposed to deliver it on a Saturday they deliver it on this Friday without my knowledge dropped it in front of my door and I wasn't home but my mom was home she is 87 my mom push the heavy box inside my home they ARE VERY LAZY DELIVERY MEN .!!! just LEFT THE BOX OUTSIDE SO I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.... ASHLEY DELIVERY SUCKS

Came in just to take a look, found out there was a good deal and free shipping. Ended up buying a whole bunch of furniture. Excellent and friendly customer service.

We had visited Ashley several times over the past month or so, slowly looking for a new bed and living room furniture. It was the typical sales experience at first, sales person pounces on you as soon as you enter the store and hound you the entire time you are there. That is, until we started working with Ati. She was attentive, helpful and respectful of our time and space to look around and discuss options. Each time my wife and I wanted to discuss something Ati would step away and give us the space to talk and shop. When we had a question she would be there quickly enough to answer it and provide input but then give us space again to work out what we wanted to do. We almost gave up on Ashley but the experience with Ati was very positive and we ended up buying everything we needed through her. Thank you Ati for making the buying experience better.

Buyer Beware: Worthless Warranty, Poor-Quality Sofas, and Nonexistent Customer Service I purchased two modular sofas (LAF Sofa SKU: 000005230466 and RAF Sofa SKU: 000005230467) and an oversized accent ottoman (SKU: 000005230408) worth over $3000 from my local Ashley Furniture store on February 20, 2024. Within a few months, the cushions began to sag so severely that sitting on the sofa for more than 30 minutes would leave me with back pain for days. Despite our attempts to tolerate it, the discomfort became unbearable, prompting me to contact Ashley Furniture for cushion replacements. After some back and forth, they agreed—only to send me throw pillows instead of the proper seat cushions that I had asked for. Frustrated, I called the store where I made the purchase. An employee assured me their manager would get in touch. Unsurprisingly, that never happened. Instead, I was advised to file a claim with ReGuard, the company handling Ashley's extended warranty, since I had purchased their $350 five-year protection plan. That, too, proved to be a complete waste of money—ReGuard never responded to my claim. It was only later that I discovered Ashley Furniture owns ReGuard, a fact that was never disclosed at the time of purchase. I still want my cushions for my overpriced low quality sofa! Trust the negative reviews. Ashley Furniture is a dishonest company selling subpar products with an utterly useless warranty. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere.

Needed queen size mattress and was sent a full size mattress very disappointed

I visited the Torrance Ashley store to exchange everything I purchased yesterday from the Long Beach location. However, the Long Beach store informed me that I needed to complete the exchange there. Why would I go out of my way to do that when I live just 5 miles from the Torrance store, compared to 20 miles from Long Beach? Thankfully, Kiyo, the Torrance store manager, stepped in with kindness, professionalism, and grace. Because of Kiyo, I’m now a loyal Torrance Ashley Furniture customer for life. We bought some furniture from Ashley yesterday. They had my name on the order and my wife used her credit card to pay. The next day they called to inform me that the order was cancelled because of the name/cc mismatch. I offered to give them a new credit card number over the phone but they said I had to physically come to the store with my card. Hmmm, 1970s technology and not-so-great customer service.

I purchased a dresser around 2 PM on 2/5 from the Torrance store. The sales rep was great, got me a discount and everything. It was going to be delivered on 2/8. I got a call at 4:33 PM the same day I purchased the dresser telling me my delivery will be delayed until 2/16 (over a week later) because I did not confirm my delivery date. I did not receive a text, email or call in the two hours between purchasing and getting the phone call asking me to confirm. I was just told i didn’t confirm. When I called the customer service rep this morning (2/6), I explained it was completely unreasonable to expect me to respond in that short a time frame. They just ignored my comments and kept the date for 2/16. We’ll see if I ever get the dresser at this point. Edit: The manager Ali reached out to me within a day of my review and asked how he could make it right. My delivery was still delayed but I did get the dresser without any other hiccups. I was also offered a $200 in store credit.

Very friendly, answered lots of questions for me and even gave me a time out to process my mixed up mind. It was between two sets and I couldn’t figure out what I wanted. He never rushed me even if he could be making other sales.

Terrible service never buy from here. They out wrong information down for your orders and delay your shipping over a month. DO NOT BUY HERE!!! Was told I be given a call and never heard from anyone. Do not shop at this Ashley store in Hawthorne , Torrance whatever the location. The sales people are nice in the store, but do not deliver as promised. Please check your invoice for extra charges. They told me we would get a free metal bed frame since our bed frame was in back order. However this didn't happen. I called the store days before my delivery spoke to Chris Kristen lady and she assured me she corrected the problem after i was left on hold over 30 minutes. Manager wouldn't even get on phone to address issue. So today December 8,2024 , I have a brand new box spring and mattress that has to sit on floor.

I Finally spoke with a supervisor who never apologized for the confusion but will finally replace my furniture. Dec 12th they will be picking up manufacturer damaged furniture and replacing it with hopefully new furniture that isn’t damaged. Jeremiah Thank you for keeping all the text I sent you. Aside from you and the other gentleman in the store who were kind and very helpful. I doubt I will ever do business with Ashley’s again. Most were very condescending and always giving me the runaround. Falsely accusing me of not reporting the damages from the very beginning. Not sure why they were so disrespectful not sure why they treat senior citizens so indifferently.

All was well! SAID was GREAT! I am hoping that the delivery process will be as smooth as the sales processes! I look forward to shopping there again!

My Ashley furniture store experience was a horrible experience!! They scheduled my delivery 3 days after my purchase. Then called me less than 24 hours prior to the delivery date and rescheduled the delivery for an additional 1 week and 1day later from the original delivery date. When I complained they rescheduled for an additional 5 days after the missing the original delivery. Then they repeatedly called and text me an additional 6 times for a new Dec.4th delivery date but refused to give me a specific delivery time to deliver only 2 stools. Also, Ashley furniture will not allow you to purchase items and take it with you the same day, nor pick it up at a warehouse no matter how small the item is, perhaps because they want to collect a delivery fee. They did this over 2 small stools, One can only imagine the added AGONY had it been a larger order. My colleagues warned me not to shop here, but I wanted to give Ashley Furn. the benefit of the doubt.. Wrong Decision! All I can say is my colleagues were right!! Next time I see Ashley Furniture I'm speeding up to avoid this Post Traumatic Stressful Experience! I will NEVER...EVER shop here again. This was a horrible experience.

They are knowledgeable about all the store’s furniture products from wood styles to tempurpedic mattresses and recommend what’s best for you and your personal needs. They are honest and my family and I appreciated their great costumer service and personability. We did have an overly pushy sales associate, Sheikh, who did attempt to take both William and Veronica’s sale. William helped us earlier in the day but my family and I were indecisive and told him we would come back! When we came back 2 hours later, William was off shift and Veronica greated us at the door ready to help us but Sheikh lied and informed us that he was an informant of William and had our information already; he then opened up a new cart and wanted my family to pay and sign immediately. Sheik then rudely told Veronica to “go away” when she approached me kindly to inform me that William was on his way back to the store for our sale. We had a great experience at this location! Olga was exceptional and helped my partner and I get exactly what we came for and wanted, a living room couch and a dining table set. We came in with an idea of what we wanted, and what we saw in-store on display wasn't exactly fitting the bill, color and materials wise. She took her time with us and did not try to stop us when we said we'd leave to check out the other furniture stores nearby to compare. When we came back and told her about the other items we saw, she was more than happy to help find us exactly what we wanted. Olga found the perfect items in their catalog online comparable to the ones on display that we liked and got us great deals that fit perfectly within our budget. Super excited to receive our items! I am changing my review from 5 stars to 1. When we ordered our furniture the salesman and store manager told us that we would get our furniture delivered on Friday. We ordered it all the Saturday before this delivery date. They said that all items were in stock in the warehouse and would be delivered together. They said to expect an email or phone call a few days before our delivery to confirm a time and the address. The day before the delivery we had not heard from anybody. We called the customer service number on the invoice and they told us that we didn't have a delivery scheduled and the furniture was back ordered and we could expect it December 6th!!! We called the store and they blamed the warehouse and said they had no control over that. We asked them how they could give us a delivery date if they had no control over this and he just again blamed it on the warehouse. We feel lied to in order to get a sale. We ended up cancelling our order!!

We came in to fix an issue with a order we had on a couch ( they deliver the wrong color ) . The previous associate that helped us didnt quite meet our expectations so we got blessed to get Izaak to help us out. Not only did Izaak help fix the problem but he was extremely patient with us and showing us every available options . We left with smiles and a new couch and a center table for the living. Thank you Izaak

This store is the worst store n customer service. They have a no return policy that sucks. They do not make any exceptions for anything. I had a simple request to exchange a bed footrest for one that did not have drawers because they prevented us to lower the mattress, well they did not allow for that simple request. I spent over $3,000.00 on the bedroom set and the salesman had the nerve to tell me to donate my new set and buy another one and he would give me a good deal, I told him that what he suggested to me was an insult they do not work with customers at all no exceptions for exchange. Do not shop for your furniture there. One other thing if you call the customer service number you get to talk to people that do not speak English, they have a very heavy accent and it is frustrating to try and understand what they are saying.

I met with Ati, my first sales rep, to help me find something else. It was like buying a car. I was there for almost 2 hours. She walked with me over the entire store. But not only did I leave with a new living room set. I was able to purchase a rug and coffee table. Within the same price, I paid for the first set. Very satisfied customer. Loved our experience here. Veronica was wonderful. She greeted my fiancé and I at the door and helped us find a few things we were looking for. Their modular sectional is much better than the one at Bob’s. Veronica showed us you can actually take all the covers off each piece to wash them, the Bobs one doesn’t have this feature. They also had some great sales on small items and lamps. Definitely coming back.

Do not shop here!! These people are scammers! They sold us a set of couches. One was a 3 seater, the other a love seat. The love seat was as is store display to take home on the same day and the 3 seater was to be shipped to us. These people ordered the wrong 3 seater, and delivered it to us in a completely different color and material. We refused it. Had to wait 4 days.. next delivery - SAME COUCH!! Wrong color and material. Refused again. After multiple attempts to reach the manager, he told us we were sold a discontinued couch and that it wasn't in stock. Now that we were stuck with the loveseat, he told us he would give us different couches and we could just keep the love seat, to come in store the next day and make sure we liked the couches.. to our surprise an hour before we are supposed to come in, another manager calls us and says we are not able to get the new couches the manager promised us. At this point we asked for a refund and they refuse to refund us because the loveseat we do have is AS IS!! YOU GUYS SOLD US A SET OF COUCHES THAT ARE DISCONTINUED!!! Do not shop here!! Scammers!!

Olga did a fantastic job showing us mattress’ and frames. She really understood the style I was looking for. What I appreciated the most was that she wasn’t trying to push styles I didn’t like. She was patient and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. This is the first time I’ve receive this kind of quality service at Ashley’s. In the past, we’ve had very pushy sales reps. Update: The manager from Ashley Furniture called me after seeing my review and was very helpful in resolving my issue. They were very helpful and understanding. However, please make sure to read about the protection plan and get the pamphlet prior to purchasing the plan. . . . DO NOT GET THE REGUARD PROTECTION PLAN! My roommate and I bought a couch from this store a year ago and the sales person was telling us about the protection plan for the couch. We were told that the plan would cover anything from pet damage, rips, and any other damages from normal usage. We filed a claim on June 1 of this year and we often checked the website and our email for any updates on this claim but no update came through. It wasn't until I called in today that we were told our claim was denied. We were told that the reason it was denied was due to the fact that the damage was not caused by an accident. The process of this was very frustrating as the protection plan website does not provide you with any updates on your claim. Please beware when they are advertising their protection plan because it is not as good as they make it sound.

William out of the Torrance Ashley’s location is the salesman of the year, we are voting early! He was patient, considerate, not pushy and made good suggestions to find solutions as it took us 5 weeks for the final sale. We had to go back and forth to get measurements 2 times before the 3rd time was the charm. We even went to other Ashley’s in other cities and had to go back to William because he had great follow up with kindness and efficiently of our large purchase that included a living room, and 2 bedrooms! If you want to experience the old fashion kind of service our parents used to get, visit Torrance Ashley’s furniture and ask for William at the front desk!

I didn’t have the best experience at Ashley furniture. I walked in the store to a salesman yelling at a salesgirl talking about how she stole his client, right on the sales floor for all of the customers to hear. Then the same salesman came up to me and I did not want him to help me, because there was no way I would give him any commission. Then I found what I wanted, and asked a girl to help me and when we started talking about the price, she pulled the manager aside and started talking in another language with him and you can tell he was annoyed when I asked for the Memorial Day discount. It made me so uncomfortable to see the faces he was making at her when he responded and she says “we can only give you 5% discount.” I should have left at that point but I was so tired of trying to find something I liked so I caved. The manager was so unprofessional. I regret my purchase and will never buy from Ashely Furniture in Torrance again and will never recommend this place. Just awful.

We purchased 2 bedroom sets at Ashley. On the day of delivery, the setup team discovered that one of the beds had been shipped with an incorrect piece. They left it unassembled on the ground and had me call customer service and make a case. I figured no big deal, but we called week after week only to be told they had no update on our case. Even though this was 100% their mistake, we were told they would not give us a replacement bed or a refund, we had to just sit and wait. Finally after over a month and a few threats to dispute the charge with the credit card company, they sent someone out to replace the bed. I’m not sure who in this process is to blame, but I’ll certainly never buy from Ashley again.

I used to be a big fan of Jerome’s Furniture but after getting a great deal on bedroom furniture I purchased last year, I came back Ashley Furniture to invest in a new couch and chair as my purchase at Jerome’s back in 2019 didn’t hold up. So happy with my purchase and can’t wait to see it in my home!

I originally wrote a positive review about the team at Ashley Home Store Hawthorne Blvd in Torrance on 4/30, but I am retracting it and leaving a negative review due to their actions after the sale: Today's post 5/6/24: I no longer recommend Ashley Home Store and here are my new feelings and why........ I originally wrote this review when I completed the transaction in store, but unfortunately things turned badly for me after receiving delivery. When I bought the furniture the items were not in stock and therefore I wasn't able to try out the couch but decided to proceed any way as I felt that I could exchange the items if needed. However, this is not the case. When I received delivery Ashley Store sent the wrong hardware so my children's bed could not be completely installed and now I have to wait weeks for a technician to come out here again and fix the problem. There was also a rip in the bottom mesh of the couch that needs to be repaired. Furthermore, the sales associate Sha at Ashley Home with whom I originally praised sold me two "Bunkie Boards" with my two 10in twin mattresses for the bunk beds. He highly recommended these boards and convinced me to buy them. However, they are 2in thick boards on their own and now with them installed plus the 10in mattress it's a liability as my seven year old daughter can roll right off the top bunk and get seriously injured. I spoke to Ashley Customer Service and they said all sales are final and would not work me with me return these two bunkie boards and get 8in mattresses, which is what Sha should have recommended in the first place since again the bunk bed was not on display in the show room so I had to trust his knowledge as the "sales expert." Well, this really back fired and now I am stuck with these $100+ each bunkie boards and Ashley is being completely inflexible. I also asked to potentially upgrade to a more expensive leather sectional and the Customer Service team and in-store team refused to help me. This is terrible customer service! They could have been understanding of my particular situation and circumstance especially since Sha made these recommendations and I wrote such an initial positive review. However, the whole Ashley team chooses to lose a client who was going to buy more furniture in the future and recommend to my network. I no longer recommend Ashley furniture and anyone looking to buy from this team beware as are disingenuous and misleading. Plus, you won't have any flexibility after the sale. I am a very unhappy customer. Please do not shop there.

Sales person was very nice and friendly. But all services (delivery and customer service) I received after buying the whole set of dining table was literally 0 star to give. Delivery people made a little mistake (left stain and scratches on the furniture) which is still understandable. Everyone make mistakes and it happens. After they left, I saw one of the screws wasn’t screwed tight which I had to call them back to come back and re-screw/tighten them. And they said it’s already tight enough which you can clearly see it isn’t (they still couldn’t fix it) One of the dining chairs were defected. So they transferred me to the customer service team to schedule with the cleaning technician. Rug is good price,but ambushed upon paying that no returns. Told delivery would be Friday, but was delivered to our front lawn without warning or notification on Monday four days early . What if we had taken a trip expecting Friday delivery ?
