Nice and very helpful

We went to go look at couches. Tried one and kinda liked it. Then went to Jeromes to check out their selection. Just to be sure we went back to Ashleys to try the first couch again. Sales person said a cute snide remark about how we were back after looking somewhere else. So we went with Jeromes 😆 Moral of the story, just don't say anything that isn't helpful to your customer. Customer service is a difficult thing and not for everyone.

Strictly for delivery notifications and procedures. At the time of purchase was informed of my delivery day of 12/17, I’ll get a text and within 3 hours my delivery will arrive. Excited to see a text at 8:32am. It’s now 5:01 way past my 3 hour window, I’ve checked at least 5 times for update each and every time , delivery time moves later and later in the day. Wasted time waiting for 9 hours . I’d like to suggest do not send notifications outside the 3 hour window to prevent disappointing your customers.

We had a great experience at Ashley in Torrance! Distiny, the very sweet and knowledgeable saleswoman, was accompanied us from beginning to the end with purchasing. Answered all of our questions. Keep communicating with her manger for making us happy with any possible discounts! We had a great trust with Ashley’s products and their qualities. Since they make their own furnitures, they could deliver our furniture in only few days. We highly recommend Ashley to everyone who is looking for a great quality furniture and a wonderful customer service.

Thank you to Isaiah for offering amazing customer service throughout our whole buying experience at Ashley Furniture in Torrance. We originally bought a sofa online which was not going to be delivered until after Christmas. After talking to customer service online they sent us to the store which wasn’t not helpful at first since online and in-store services are not connected. But thanks to Isaiah, he able to help us find a sofa that would be delivered before the date we needed it by. Thank you again Isaiah .

After a friend of mine got picked up, I went back to this ashley store because I found something that I liked that I wanted to see, while I went back inside again one of the employees inside this ashley store kept asking me very invasive questions, this ashley store should train their employees not to do that towards customers whether they're buying something at ashleys furniture or not

I had been shopping for furniture for three days, almost every store including Ashley, frustrated and overwhelmed, I walked yesterday to this location looking for beds, and to my Luck I was helped by Jenifer, and I never had such help, she was amazing, she adjusted my previous order, fixed a mistake with my bank, helped me with a new purchase, she was juggling store inventory and online and directing me in every step, super informative and patient, she is the true meaning of customer service.

The couch was delivered a week later than promised. But the delivery people were professional friendly and efficient.

I visited 4 other furniture stores before I purchased my sofas and recliner at Ashley. The most important reason was the customer service. I was politely greeted at the door, shown options comparable to sofas at the other stores. The salesman gave me the out the door pricing including taxes and delivery without me having to ask (I hate hidden fees)! The price was thousands less than the others quoted. Ashley is a definite 10/10! Thank you Zee.

Walked into Ashley looking for a particular brand of mattress. The salesman Zee assisted us and had us try different brands and styles. He listened to what we needed. We went home to do research on the brand and model he recommended and spoke to a friend who knew mattresses also and we came back and purchased the one Zee had shown us. He didn’t have an attitude about us wanting to think on this purchase which if he had we wouldn’t have gone back, even though it was a bit of a drive to buy from him

My husband purchased some couches recently at the Torrance location . We initially had a great experience with the salesperson on the day of our purchase. We waited for our couches to arrive, and to our disappointment, they sent us the wrong couches and to top it off, one of the couches was dirty. We informed the store of the mistake, and they have not picked up the couches from our residence. They are giving us a date for pick up and it will be two days short of two weeks in order for them to pick up couches that we did not order. On top of that, they are saying that the couches we wanted are more than the couches that they sent us, and won’t honor the price the salesperson sold us the couches for. It has been a mess, and I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Had quite the experience buying my couch from Ashley furniture 😇 I already had a couch in mind to purchase, just needed to see and test it in-person. Upon arrival Isaiah greeted me and took me directly to the couch. He pointed out that the couch has two colors and two versions, one of the versions having a queen pop-out mattress. I was very undecided, but he was kind enough to look at pics of my apt and share his ideas on placing the couch. Very happy he assisted, I hope the delivery goes as smoothly as the purchase did. The store was freezing cold. They asked for my blood type and DNA just because I tried to use my Ashley credit card that I hadn’t used in 3 years . The process was too slow for a $584 purchase that I ended up not getting after all.

Gaile was awesome. She was friendly and helpful. She did not try to push us into a sale. When we decided on the items we wanted, she made sure to get us the best deal. We will definitely come back to do business with Gaile again.

Easiest couch buying experience ever! I walked in and was greeted by Michael who was very helpful and David the manager came by and helped me land a couch at a great deal within minutes! My first stop in searching and I was done within 15 minutes!

From the moment I walked inside the store I felt special. The associate Xavier understood what I was looking for. He took the time to show me a variety of looks. There was no rush and pushed sale. I got exactly what I was looking for and the price was reasonable.

We went into the Torrance location a week ago in search of a new sectional sofa. We were warmly greeted by our soon to be sales advisor, Gaile. She was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and provided excellent customer care. We went back in today and purchased one of the sectionals Gaile had shown us before along with a rug and cabinet too. We walked in and were greeting by a salesperson. We told her we were looking for a vanity/dressing table. She said ok, but didn’t even give a small hint at where we might find one. . Then she proceeded to follow us at a distance. Not even close enough for us to ask a question, like we were going to run out of the store carrying a recliner over our heads. I’ll tell you, if we had found something , anything that we liked I would have asked for a different salesperson. She did absolutely nothing to help us. I’ve had better customer service on their website. Shameful

I walked in the store and I seen the couch that I wanted and there was no associate to be found to assist me with buying the couch so I walked around the whole store to see if I can find a dinette set as well. I seen at least several staff members one or two sitting the couch with their tablets and three of them talking in groups and no one asked me if I needed assistance. I walked around the whole store and again nobody asked me if I need help so I walked out the store. A couple walked in and associate asked them if they need help. I turned around and said to the associate, I walked around this whole store and nobody asked me if I needed help. He turned around and said I can help you. I said no thank you. I will go to another store. This store doesn’t even deserve one star.

Our Experience here at Ashley’s with the help of Gaile Diep was efficient and helpful. We got straight to business and she was able to help us find a dinning room table that matched what we were looking for. We were happy with the experience over all.

I purchased an office set from this store on clearance. They don’t assist with delivery for clearance items, so I had to arrange my own delivery. However, their sales associate promised to have the warehouse guy disassemble my items to make moving easier. They failed to do this before I came and stated there was no warehouse guy available to take it apart on that particular day. This made moving my furniture infinitely more difficult. I’m not sure it was worth the money saved. Not happy with my experience with this particular Ashley Store.

Purchase was good. But afterward, we keep sending me the advertisement emails. I do unsubscribe and block emails. But emails just keep coming daily. Do you a means to curb the email bombardment?

Customer service at the store is excellent. But the delivery service is bad. I refused 2 night stands because they were damaged, and they still left them, and the delivery customer service are rude when you talk to them on the phone. Now it's taking 1 week for a technician to come and see something that is damaged so the technician can request the replacement and we'll see how long it takes for the replacement. If you buy something and see that it's damaged, make sure you refuse it and don't let them leave it. Otherwise you will be waiting a week just for a technician and then more days for your replacements.

I been a Ashley customer for over 20years I purchased all my furniture from the fountain valley store great service and quality. Recently me and my wife stopped in the torrance Ashley location we purchased a sectional sofa most expensive one had it delivered received it not noticed that one part off sectional top and bottom was collapse we called and got a service man come out to fix made the problem worst I called the store spoke to the manager AL which was very nice when we purchased but now was very rude and advise they would send another service man well here goes another Saturday but OK no show no call I called the store they apologize and sent up another Saturday for the same results all I ask to make it right til this day all I hear is cricket s the right thing to do is replace damage sectional AL The manger is not the type of guy that should be representing ashleys you would od thought cooperate would make it right I work in the harbor I'm letting all my ILWU people know NOT To SHOP at Ashley poor service and quality save you a head ache don't shop at ashleys

We went in for a mattress that we’ve been needing for sometime. Had a hard time deciding until our salesman, Izaak Lopez, came along. William is the best!!! He’s so personable, the entire time I’m thinking…do I know him?! lol he’s like a long lost friend who just happens to sell furniture. I felt no pressure to rush and make a purchase or that he was upselling me. Also, a gentleman who I assumed to be the manager came over and made sure William knew I was waiting as he finished with a customer. They know time is of the essence and I love that (even though I wasn’t in a rush). So yes, as a consumer who normally shops for my furniture online…this made me want the in-person experience more often!!

The sales people were very friendly and let us alone while we tried out the furniture and then helped us with our discussion. They were very thorough. However, they did not seem to have the latest online sales information.

They were extremely helpful. We lost our home in the Palisades fire and were starting over which is overwhelming, but the salesman Williams at the Torrance store helped us stay focused with kindness and humor. Excellent experience to start a new life in Redondo Beach. Highly recommend

We had visited Ashley several times over the past month or so, slowly looking for a new bed and living room furniture. It was the typical sales experience at first, sales person pounces on you as soon as you enter the store and hound you the entire time you are there. That is, until we started working with Ati. She was attentive, helpful and respectful of our time and space to look around and discuss options. Each time my wife and I wanted to discuss something Ati would step away and give us the space to talk and shop. When we had a question she would be there quickly enough to answer it and provide input but then give us space again to work out what we wanted to do. We almost gave up on Ashley but the experience with Ati was very positive and we ended up buying everything we needed through her. Thank you Ati for making the buying experience better.

I visited the Torrance Ashley store to exchange everything I purchased yesterday from the Long Beach location. However, the Long Beach store informed me that I needed to complete the exchange there. Why would I go out of my way to do that when I live just 5 miles from the Torrance store, compared to 20 miles from Long Beach? Thankfully, Kiyo, the Torrance store manager, stepped in with kindness, professionalism, and grace. Because of Kiyo, I’m now a loyal Torrance Ashley Furniture customer for life. We bought some furniture from Ashley yesterday. They had my name on the order and my wife used her credit card to pay. The next day they called to inform me that the order was cancelled because of the name/cc mismatch. I offered to give them a new credit card number over the phone but they said I had to physically come to the store with my card. Hmmm, 1970s technology and not-so-great customer service.

I purchased a dresser around 2 PM on 2/5 from the Torrance store. The sales rep was great, got me a discount and everything. It was going to be delivered on 2/8. I got a call at 4:33 PM the same day I purchased the dresser telling me my delivery will be delayed until 2/16 (over a week later) because I did not confirm my delivery date. I did not receive a text, email or call in the two hours between purchasing and getting the phone call asking me to confirm. I was just told i didn’t confirm. When I called the customer service rep this morning (2/6), I explained it was completely unreasonable to expect me to respond in that short a time frame. They just ignored my comments and kept the date for 2/16. We’ll see if I ever get the dresser at this point. Edit: The manager Ali reached out to me within a day of my review and asked how he could make it right. My delivery was still delayed but I did get the dresser without any other hiccups. I was also offered a $200 in store credit.

Very friendly, answered lots of questions for me and even gave me a time out to process my mixed up mind. It was between two sets and I couldn’t figure out what I wanted. He never rushed me even if he could be making other sales.

Do not shop at this Ashley store in Hawthorne , Torrance whatever the location. The sales people are nice in the store, but do not deliver as promised. Please check your invoice for extra charges. They told me we would get a free metal bed frame since our bed frame was in back order. However this didn't happen. I called the store days before my delivery spoke to Chris Kristen lady and she assured me she corrected the problem after i was left on hold over 30 minutes. Manager wouldn't even get on phone to address issue. So today December 8,2024 , I have a brand new box spring and mattress that has to sit on floor.

I Finally spoke with a supervisor who never apologized for the confusion but will finally replace my furniture. Dec 12th they will be picking up manufacturer damaged furniture and replacing it with hopefully new furniture that isn’t damaged. Jeremiah Thank you for keeping all the text I sent you. Aside from you and the other gentleman in the store who were kind and very helpful. I doubt I will ever do business with Ashley’s again. Most were very condescending and always giving me the runaround. Falsely accusing me of not reporting the damages from the very beginning. Not sure why they were so disrespectful not sure why they treat senior citizens so indifferently.

All was well! SAID was GREAT! I am hoping that the delivery process will be as smooth as the sales processes! I look forward to shopping there again!

My Ashley furniture store experience was a horrible experience!! They scheduled my delivery 3 days after my purchase. Then called me less than 24 hours prior to the delivery date and rescheduled the delivery for an additional 1 week and 1day later from the original delivery date. When I complained they rescheduled for an additional 5 days after the missing the original delivery. Then they repeatedly called and text me an additional 6 times for a new Dec.4th delivery date but refused to give me a specific delivery time to deliver only 2 stools. Also, Ashley furniture will not allow you to purchase items and take it with you the same day, nor pick it up at a warehouse no matter how small the item is, perhaps because they want to collect a delivery fee. They did this over 2 small stools, One can only imagine the added AGONY had it been a larger order. My colleagues warned me not to shop here, but I wanted to give Ashley Furn. the benefit of the doubt.. Wrong Decision! All I can say is my colleagues were right!! Next time I see Ashley Furniture I'm speeding up to avoid this Post Traumatic Stressful Experience! I will NEVER...EVER shop here again. This was a horrible experience.

They are knowledgeable about all the store’s furniture products from wood styles to tempurpedic mattresses and recommend what’s best for you and your personal needs. They are honest and my family and I appreciated their great costumer service and personability. We did have an overly pushy sales associate, Sheikh, who did attempt to take both William and Veronica’s sale. William helped us earlier in the day but my family and I were indecisive and told him we would come back! When we came back 2 hours later, William was off shift and Veronica greated us at the door ready to help us but Sheikh lied and informed us that he was an informant of William and had our information already; he then opened up a new cart and wanted my family to pay and sign immediately. Sheik then rudely told Veronica to “go away” when she approached me kindly to inform me that William was on his way back to the store for our sale. Additionally, Manager ALEX, did acknowledge/address the issue appropriately. He is a pleasant manager who treats his workers and clients with positivity. We had a great experience at this location! Olga was exceptional and helped my partner and I get exactly what we came for and wanted, a living room couch and a dining table set. We came in with an idea of what we wanted, and what we saw in-store on display wasn't exactly fitting the bill, color and materials wise. She took her time with us and did not try to stop us when we said we'd leave to check out the other furniture stores nearby to compare. When we came back and told her about the other items we saw, she was more than happy to help find us exactly what we wanted. Olga found the perfect items in their catalog online comparable to the ones on display that we liked and got us great deals that fit perfectly within our budget. Super excited to receive our items! I am changing my review from 5 stars to 1. When we ordered our furniture the salesman and store manager told us that we would get our furniture delivered on Friday. We ordered it all the Saturday before this delivery date. They said that all items were in stock in the warehouse and would be delivered together. They said to expect an email or phone call a few days before our delivery to confirm a time and the address. The day before the delivery we had not heard from anybody. We called the customer service number on the invoice and they told us that we didn't have a delivery scheduled and the furniture was back ordered and we could expect it December 6th!!! We called the store and they blamed the warehouse and said they had no control over that. We asked them how they could give us a delivery date if they had no control over this and he just again blamed it on the warehouse. We feel lied to in order to get a sale. We ended up cancelling our order!!

We came in to fix an issue with a order we had on a couch ( they deliver the wrong color ) . The previous associate that helped us didnt quite meet our expectations so we got blessed to get Izaak to help us out. Not only did Izaak help fix the problem but he was extremely patient with us and showing us every available options . We left with smiles and a new couch and a center table for the living. Thank you Izaak

This store is the worst store n customer service. They have a no return policy that sucks. They do not make any exceptions for anything. I had a simple request to exchange a bed footrest for one that did not have drawers because they prevented us to lower the mattress, well they did not allow for that simple request. I spent over $3,000.00 on the bedroom set and the salesman had the nerve to tell me to donate my new set and buy another one and he would give me a good deal, I told him that what he suggested to me was an insult they do not work with customers at all no exceptions for exchange. Do not shop for your furniture there. One other thing if you call the customer service number you get to talk to people that do not speak English, they have a very heavy accent and it is frustrating to try and understand what they are saying.

I visited Ashley Furniture today and was helped by Izaak. For context, I just purchased a 1800 square foot townhome and extremely overwhelmed with how I am going to design my furnishings. As soon as I walked into Ashley Furniture, Izaak greeted me with a smile and supported me in trying to figure out my space. He is extremely knowledgeable on color schemes and the pros and cons of his products. I look forward to continuing to do business with this store.

We walked in and Brandon gave us a great welcoming. We told him what we came for and he took us to the mattress show room and showed us different option. We picked what we like and walked out with a new mattress we are happy with our purchase.

Do not shop here!! These people are scammers! They sold us a set of couches. One was a 3 seater, the other a love seat. The love seat was as is store display to take home on the same day and the 3 seater was to be shipped to us. These people ordered the wrong 3 seater, and delivered it to us in a completely different color and material. We refused it. Had to wait 4 days.. next delivery - SAME COUCH!! Wrong color and material. Refused again. After multiple attempts to reach the manager, he told us we were sold a discontinued couch and that it wasn't in stock. Now that we were stuck with the loveseat, he told us he would give us different couches and we could just keep the love seat, to come in store the next day and make sure we liked the couches.. to our surprise an hour before we are supposed to come in, another manager calls us and says we are not able to get the new couches the manager promised us. At this point we asked for a refund and they refuse to refund us because the loveseat we do have is AS IS!! YOU GUYS SOLD US A SET OF COUCHES THAT ARE DISCONTINUED!!! Do not shop here!! Scammers!!

Olga did a fantastic job showing us mattress’ and frames. She really understood the style I was looking for. What I appreciated the most was that she wasn’t trying to push styles I didn’t like. She was patient and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. This is the first time I’ve receive this kind of quality service at Ashley’s. In the past, we’ve had very pushy sales reps. I would love to keep coming to see Olga for future purchases.
