We bought a bedroom sets and some couches. The sales person was nice but did not inform us that the couches we had selected were out of stock until we were about to pay. He disclosed that they wouldn’t be available until 8 weeks. We decided to purchase anyway. In regards to the bedroom set we bought, it was a pretty solid wood material, we informed the sales person that the set would need to be delivered upstairs. He assured us there wasn’t going to be any issues or problems and that it was a white glove delivery. Day of delivery came and the delivery people said no one had informed them the bedroom set would be going upstairs. He kept telling me over and over that the two of them could not take the dresser upstairs and he wanted me agree to reschedule the delivery. I did express immense frustration because we clearly told the store the set was for upstairs. After back and forth calls with their manager and the store I spoke to someone and they said they could deliver the bedroom set with our upcoming couches delivery, which was about 8 weeks out. I was so mad at this suggestion and I’m sure I wasn’t too nice when I told the manager that they needed to fix the issue and send someone else to help deliver, or schedule a delivery in a couple of days. She said something like “it’s not the delivery persons fault, it’s not our fault and it’s not your fault, it’s no one’s fault that these things happen” and I said, “I’m gonna stop you right there, it is not the delivery peoples fault and it is not our fault, but it is Ashley’s furniture fault, because they dropped the ball after I told them it would be going upstairs they should have sent enough people to deliver” long story short, they listened and made it right. The two gentlemen reluctantly agreed to take the dresser upstairs, and they did so without hurting themselves and just a scratch to my wall. But it was so frustrating to have to beg for them to do the right thing when it was their fault for not noting that the dresser would be going upstairs. So people with two story homes, please make sure they write notes for the delivery company otherwise they will refuse to deliver and you will get stuck waiting additional weeks.

The chair i chose sat great in the store but seems smaller at home maybe it needs to "break in" i hope it gets more comfortable

We had the BEST experience at Ashley’s furniture. We went to 4 other furniture stores and Ashley’s was the only store with 5+ star customer service and information. Also sales associate was not pushy at all. Now let’s talk about our salesman Matthew, this guy I’d recommend 100/10, he went above and beyond with us. We asked every question imaginable about the sectional we wanted to especially since we have animals in our home. He made our purchase experience very enjoyable and told him we would see him again when we upgrade out bedroom furniture. So if you find something you like hit up Matthew at the Visalia location.

What the heck happened to this place?? When I first shopped here for furniture a few years ago, this place was great. Furniture was delivered on time with no issues. Now it's a different story. Placed the order for a sofa and recliner on Dec 12th. Delivery was supposed to be on Dec 26th. Got pushed back to the 27th. No big deal, one day was fine. Then delivery was pushed back to the 31st. I took the day off work to be home for the delivery and now they're stating delivery won't be until January 7th?? Their website says in BOLD LETTERS that delivery is within 7 days of purchase! Talk about false advertising!! All I got was some BS excuse about their new system screwd everything up and that they can only communicate with their warehouse thru email. Since all I got was nothing but excuses and no clear answers, I just canceled the entire order. Not only did they lose a huge sale, they lost a customer. I'll take my business someplace where they know what they are doing and have a hell of a lot better communication.

Marie was great. She did not pressure us or make us feel like she was selling us on anything. She gave us all the information we needed and if she didn’t know the answer, she didn’t pretend like most salespeople would. She said that is a great question, I don’t have that answer but I know where to get it. I came back two days later, asked for her and ordered my pieces. Great experience!

The whole experience with Ashleys furniture was amazing. We felt no pressure while shopping. The gentleman who helped us was very helpful and took the time to look up add-ons and different colors and styles of different items that my boyfriend and I were looking at to help us put together something that worked for us. when it came to Delivery Ashley‘s has a Text Line from AI that keeps you posted and updated almost daily on the status of your order. With a simple reply to the text You can confirm delivery change adjust delivery dates so that was really nice. Then the morning of my expected delivery date I got a text message that included the information of my driver and a little map where I can track him so I knew how close he was getting to delivering my items . The delivery gentleman named Roberto and his helper were super kind very respectful, gently put together my furniture cleaned up after themselves All in a short period of time in and out. The delivery was definitely done earlier than I expected so I have the rest of my day to enjoy my new furniture delivery. Thank you again, Roberto and thank you again Ashley‘s furniture me and my boyfriend are very happy.

I normally don’t post reviews, but I’ve reached a point where I just can’t stay quiet anymore. I’m tired of being walked all over. I’m the type of person who keeps so much to myself and just moves on when things go wrong, but this experience has genuinely left me frustrated and disappointed. I purchased a bed and a living room set from Ashley Furniture, and what happened afterward has been nothing but a headache. A few months after my purchase, the finance company they use—Synchrony Bank—randomly closed my account. I have never missed a payment. Not one. So imagine how shocked I felt knowing I still had a balance, yet the account was closed without any warning. Even worse, this affected my credit because of how Ashley Furniture reported it. I’m still making my payments, because Synchrony told me I’m still responsible for the balance, even though they closed the account on me. But that’s not even the only issue. The sofa set I bought is made so poorly it’s embarrassing. When I tried to wash the cushion covers, I realized the inner foundation of the pillows has no protective lining at all. Nothing. I even posted a video showing exactly what I mean. For the amount of money I paid—around $2,500—this is unacceptable. This wasn’t a sale or a discount set. I paid full price for furniture that feels cheap and poorly made. What hurts the most is the dishonesty. The salespeople smiled, took my money, and left me with problems they never warned me about—problems I’m now stuck dealing with. Customers deserve honesty, respect, and quality, not scams and surprises. If you’re thinking about buying from this company, please make sure you inspect every single piece the day it’s delivered. I didn’t get that chance, and now I can’t return the merchandise because my account was closed without notice. I only found out by checking my credit report myself. I’m sharing this so others don’t have to go through what I did.

The foundation did not work with my frame and the delivery man would not take the refusal of deliver after demanding several times..now I have a Cal King foundation put together standing in my garage..I was told they would not take back that to call in three days and let Ashley know what happen..he took pictures of the reason it didn't fit..but omly posted the picture that made it look like it fit..I called as soon as they left and the customer service said..Why didn't you refuse..I told her I did numerous times and he said he couldn't take it back and to call customer service..I called didn't hear back..CS said they would call back she was calling her Team..didn't call back..Called again and she made a claim and gave me a number and I would hear in 24 hrs..it's been over 24 hrs..So I'm to say the least Not Pleased.. Your delivery man Anthony has numerous pictures Why it didn't fit. but only posted deceiving pictures..looking like it fit..it needed a two piece foundation for my bed frame and the CA King Mattress..I had to use my old double 2 piece foundation..come and pickup the big put together foundation that doesn't fit .please call and make arrangements

They just installed my table and one side was already wobbly yesterday.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my daughter, because this entire situation has been extremely frustrating. She was told her furniture would arrive in 2–3 weeks, but it has now been over 42 days and she still hasn’t received anything. Even worse, when she tried to cancel the order after all the delays, the business refused to give her a refund. There was also a very concerning issue where the company charged the full finance amount to her bank, which should never have happened. While that charge was eventually corrected, we are still looking into how something like that could occur in the first place. As a parent, I’m disappointed and upset that my daughter had to deal with this. If you’re thinking about buying here, please double-check all charges and keep records of every promise. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this business. If I could give negative star review I would.

My partner wanted to stop by Ashley Furniture to look around, and while we were browsing I needed to use the restroom, so I did. We didn’t end up purchasing anything, and as we were leaving an older woman sales rep told me, very snarkily, that I should know for next time that the restrooms are for customers only. That comment made me feel completely unwelcome. It came across as if the employee didn’t care about customers or the overall experience. I strongly recommend that the store provide training on how to deliver an inclusive, high-quality customer experience, one that makes every visitor feel valued, whether they’re browsing or ready to make a purchase.

we were looking for a new bedroom set, and didn’t expect to find anything we liked locally. When we walked into Ashley, the first bedroom set we saw we left. Our sales person was Moses and he was informative but not pushy. This was the first place we looked so we knew we needed to check other places. We went to several other stores, but didn’t find anything that compared to what we found at Ashley. We went back the next day and purchased the set. It was a quick and easy process. And we’re expecting delivery tomorrow. I will definitely go back to Ashley.

Dissatisfied with Ashley’s. We received our brand new bedroom set with defects. According to Ashley’s it was part of the finish. However, you could (we, the customer) could clearly see it wasn’t. Ashley’s basically told us there was nothing they could do after multiple failed attempts by their technicians to fix defect. Which made the defect worse. No option to at minimum exchange set. Basically, we keep what we got and how we got. This was not the first large purchase we’ve made but sadly will be our last. Horrible customer service and resolution when a customer receives furniture unlike what was ordered.

I wanted quality leather furniture, 5 year warranty, stars and stripes sale. We selected a sectional (Cream), two recliner chairs (Pumpkin Spice) for accents, and a colorful floor rug. We had been shopping around for a light colored sectional to lighten our living room. Jorge was knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and gave us discounts and bottled waters.

Bad experience from the second we walked in the door. We wanted a bed frame for our daughter and found one we liked on the website. It said in stock, so we called the store to confirm. They said they had 3 in the store. We went a week later and the salesman treated us like idiots because "they've never had those bed frames in their store inventory. Only online where it would come from one of their warehouses." Whatever, we'll order it in store and have it delivered. That was a mistake. The frame for whatever reason is sold as two separate pieces. Something we didn't realize until we put together half of a bed frame, realized we were missing the other half and looked back at the order summary. The first piece made it fine, the other was nowhere to be found. We called support to see where the other piece was. They said it was on the way and to reach out again in 7 to 10 days if it hadn't arrived. 7 days pass, I'm rudely told that they have 3 days left to get it to our house (they have no idea where the piece is). The other 3 days go by and I call again. Surprise surprise, the package is lost. They then tell me it's my responsibility to reach out to the shipping company to resolve the issue. I was never provided tracking information outside of the order number and tracking on the Ashley website (which said it was delivered with the first part). I eventually find out the shipping number through FEDEX and open a case with them. They say they have no record of a package from Ashley. I reach back out to Ashley. They finally say they will ship another one after 2 weeks of having a half built bedframe laying around the house. Allegedly, a second one was shipped. 7 days go by. No shipping information is given. I reach back out to Ashley. The second package has been "lost". At this point I've had a half built bedframe sitting in my house for 3 weeks, and I just want to be done dealing with these people, so I request a refund. They claim that because the bedframe is 2 separate orders, they can only refund me for the part that wasn't delivered. I talked about getting the BBB involved and starting a chargeback with the card company. At this point a 3rd half bed frame is shipped which arrived in a record-breaking 2 days. It only took a total of 25 days for a complete frame to make the 60 mile trek from the warehouse to my house. Customer service throughout the whole process was rude and unhelpful. The salesman was clueless. We will not be visiting this Ashley again or probably any other Ashley.

Let me start by saying that we did finally receive all of the components for the bed that we ordered. However, it took over 3 weeks to get the missing part and they provided horrific customer service in the meantime. This was a birthday gift for my granddaughter, and her gift did not arrive on time, at all. To be fair, the majority of the issues were with the call center that we were always directed to when trying to get answers. The bed was shipped in two parts. We received one part of the bed 2 days after we placed our order in the store. (We had to order it after calling the Visalia store and being told that they DID have the bed parts in stock. Nope.) The remaining piece was lost, and they blamed FedEx and would not try to make it right. We had to call nearly a dozen times to get the part, and they had no compunction to fix the issue. When I finally said I wanted a refund of BOTH parts, because the bed is unusable without both pieces, they refused to give me my money back for the piece that was delivered because “we don’t take returns”. Buyer beware. Thankfully the piece finally showed up. No tracking numbers were ever provided for the part that finally was delivered, and no emails were ever sent, even though they said they were. I will shop elsewhere.

I’m definitely an Ashley Furniture chic‼️ A huge thank you to Benny for his outstanding customer service in helping me select a beautiful white sectional—no pressure, just patience and honesty. I even upgraded my choice, and they didn’t charge me extra for the changes. Special thanks to Store Manager Michael Phelps, a man of faith, who not only shared encouraging words from the Bible but also dropped some helpful investing gems. It’s rare to have such a spiritually uplifting and financially wise shopping experience. I left with more than furniture—I left inspired!

I went into the Ashley's on Mooney Blvd a couple of days ago. I was instantly contacted by a salesman as soon as I walked through the door. I told him I was just looking around. I wanted to take my time and just look around the store... 5 minutes later... he was there again... I told him if I had any questions I would hit him up. I walked around about 7 more minutes and the original salesman AND the manager come over and was pressuring me some more.... I told him I would ask for help if I needed some.... I was pressured once more before I left the store... I just wanted to relax and look around... I was so angry when I left, I will never go back.

This leather chair has a footrest that extends, adjustable lumbar support, and headrest that fits my husband to a tee. It even has a cordless charging port for his phone and two storage compartments in the arm rests. We already had an Ashley credit card so the paperwork was wrapped up in no time. Michael Phelps, the store manager, personally helped us load up our purchase, and then we were on our way!

Bought a sofa sleeper and recliner in April 2023. Just tried to use sofa sleeper and it won’t go back in! I called for warranty and I was told the 1 year warranty has passed so she said to “call a local handyman.” Are you kidding me! I remember the couch labels saying “lifetime warranty.” I will never buy Ashley again!!!!!

Placed an order for a sectional, and it was delivered to my partner's ex husband's address. After we had confirmed our address multiple times, as well as on the receipt. They were able to fix our problem, but I don't appreciate you guys putting us in this situation. The manager here was pushy, their reviews are inflated, because he comes up and positions you to give a 5 star review. None of our experiences here have been "hassle free" , only pleasant interaction was with our saleswoman Marie. She's an absolute gem, and nothing was her fault. If you want a good deal, at the cost of your sanity, go here. Otherwise, I'd recommend spending the extra money and just going to lazyboy.

It’s been over a month from the expected delivery date and we still haven’t got a solid answer if they have the table. I’m better off going to the mountains and cutting a tree down and making one myself.

I wouldn’t recommend family friends or anyone to buy furniture from here! I purchased a table waited 2 weeks for delivery when the table was delivered it was damaged the whole corner was completely chipped off the delivery company wouldn’t take it they said I had to call Ashley furniture to have someone come out and see if it could be fixed just by looking at it that wasn’t possible so I had to send them pictures of the damage they said it wasn’t fixable so they arranged for another table waited another 2 weeks the delivery company called me the day before asking if it would be ok if they opened the box to inspect it for damage and that they would bubble wrap it I said yes please do please make sure to inspect all corners cause that’s where the damage was on the last one the 2nd table was delivered with damage also on the corner so I told them take the table back it’s damaged the delivery company said no there not taking the table I called Ashley furniture and spot directly to a manager at this point I’m on 4 weeks with 2 damaged tables delivered so i was about done! The manager said please let me make this right so I gave 1 more chance I waited 2 weeks even thought he said he would put in for delivery on the following week this table was delivered when it came this table was also damaged not as much as the other 2 so I called the store spoke with Micheal and he sent a tech out to fix the corner. Ashley furniture is supposedly known for having very nice furniture a customer shouldn’t have to deal with damaged furniture when furniture is purchased it should come in perfect condition! I have bought beds, couches, tables from Mor furniture and NEVER had a piece of furniture come damaged.

Don’t believe the sleep 90 days for free and or exchange. Neither Ashley nor tempurpedic honor that. I purchased a bed on August 18 2024 and paid I’ve 5,000 and was unhappy called Ashley within 3 days. I had to keep the bed and call back within 30 days. Called back several times to no avail and They said they would call me back system was down manager never called. It hasn’t been 90 days my back is worse and I’ve been battling pain since the delivery of bed. Horrible service. Zero stars Visalia Ashley! Zero stars tempurpedic.

We had an issue with one of them coming damaged, but their repair person came to the house and fixed the issue within two days. I was pleasantly surprised with the level of service they provided with the issue. The couches we bought aren’t for longevity, but very nice for the price.

Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Maybe the first time I have ever written a review. Sales person was sweet but gave blatantly wrong information about the product. At first, I thought their stuff looked stylish, but after a couple mins, my new sofa started feeling like it got up on the wrong side of the bed. They have about 1/4 of the stuffing needed. I have added my own pillows inside the cushions which make it tolerable. Couch was delivered damaged. They shipped a new part which was more damaged than the first. Classic. I called them so many times, I’m practically on a first-name basis with their hold music. Actually, in all seriousness nearly impossible to get them in the phone. Have to run the chat gauntlet every time. Severeal hours later you get through. You ask for help, they’re like, they will look into it and call back. Still have NEVER received a call on numerous occasions. I’m starting to think they should rebrand as Trashley Furniture. At least for Halloween, the couch springs creak like a haunted house. I’ve had enough of their chair-ades and table-d promises. Should be voted worst communication in the Valley. The only reason they have high reviews is the salesperson puts you in a higher social pressure situation at check out to submit a 5 star review. With their boss standing directly behind them. Shortly after this experience we also bought furniture at another store. Unfortunately, the other couch arrived more damaged the ASHamed furniture. However, the other company fixed the issue right away. The difference in service is sooo stark. I guess I will do another 3 hour chat session with Ashley to see if they can reschedule their tech for the 5th time.
