It has been over a month since we purchased our sectional and delivery has been delayed 3 times. They must sell them and then make them. We are about ready to cancel our order and go somewhere else. So disappointing, they shouldn’t sell it unless they know it’s in stock.

We ordered a table set and they only delivered the chairs. They keep on postponing the table every week. It’s been over a month from the expected delivery date and we still haven’t got a solid answer if they have the table. I’m better off going to the mountains and cutting a tree down and making one myself.

I wouldn’t recommend family friends or anyone to buy furniture from here! I purchased a table waited 2 weeks for delivery when the table was delivered it was damaged the whole corner was completely chipped off the delivery company wouldn’t take it they said I had to call Ashley furniture to have someone come out and see if it could be fixed just by looking at it that wasn’t possible so I had to send them pictures of the damage they said it wasn’t fixable so they arranged for another table waited another 2 weeks the delivery company called me the day before asking if it would be ok if they opened the box to inspect it for damage and that they would bubble wrap it I said yes please do please make sure to inspect all corners cause that’s where the damage was on the last one the 2nd table was delivered with damage also on the corner so I told them take the table back it’s damaged the delivery company said no there not taking the table I called Ashley furniture and spot directly to a manager at this point I’m on 4 weeks with 2 damaged tables delivered so i was about done! The manager said please let me make this right so I gave 1 more chance I waited 2 weeks even thought he said he would put in for delivery on the following week this table was delivered when it came this table was also damaged not as much as the other 2 so I called the store spoke with Micheal and he sent a tech out to fix the corner. Ashley furniture is supposedly known for having very nice furniture a customer shouldn’t have to deal with damaged furniture when furniture is purchased it should come in perfect condition! I have bought beds, couches, tables from Mor furniture and NEVER had a piece of furniture come damaged.

Don’t believe the sleep 90 days for free and or exchange. Neither Ashley nor tempurpedic honor that. I purchased a bed on August 18 2024 and paid I’ve 5,000 and was unhappy called Ashley within 3 days. I had to keep the bed and call back within 30 days. Called back several times to no avail and They said they would call me back system was down manager never called. It hasn’t been 90 days my back is worse and I’ve been battling pain since the delivery of bed. Horrible service. Zero stars Visalia Ashley! Zero stars tempurpedic.
I bought 2 brand new recliners that were on clearance. They are in great condition and very comfortable! Everyone was nice and very helpful!

I bought 2 yellow/gold couches. They were on sale for an unbelievable price (about $600 each). We had an issue with one of them coming damaged, but their repair person came to the house and fixed the issue within two days. I was pleasantly surprised with the level of service they provided with the issue. The couches we bought aren’t for longevity, but very nice for the price.
Had a wonderful experience with Marie, she was extremely kind and helpful. My wife and I are both grateful for her help and patience. This is our second time purchasing with her and I'm sure there will be many more.

Had a really good experience when me and my boyfriend went to look for a mattress. Lucy helped us with finding the right mattress for us and even helped us in looking at frames as well. We found one that was on backorder online but they managed to have one for us to buy. She also help my MIL find and purchase some things too. Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Maybe the first time I have ever written a review. Sales person was sweet but gave blatantly wrong information about the product. At first, I thought their stuff looked stylish, but after a couple mins, my new sofa started feeling like it got up on the wrong side of the bed. They have about 1/4 of the stuffing needed. I have added my own pillows inside the cushions which make it tolerable. Couch was delivered damaged. They shipped a new part which was more damaged than the first. Classic. I called them so many times, I’m practically on a first-name basis with their hold music. Actually, in all seriousness nearly impossible to get them in the phone. Have to run the chat gauntlet every time. Severeal hours later you get through. You ask for help, they’re like, they will look into it and call back. Still have NEVER received a call on numerous occasions. I’m starting to think they should rebrand as Trashley Furniture. At least for Halloween, the couch springs creak like a haunted house. I’ve had enough of their chair-ades and table-d promises. Should be voted worst communication in the Valley. The only reason they have high reviews is the salesperson puts you in a higher social pressure situation at check out to submit a 5 star review. With their boss standing directly behind them. Shortly after this experience we also bought furniture at another store. Unfortunately, the other couch arrived more damaged the ASHamed furniture. However, the other company fixed the issue right away. The difference in service is sooo stark. I guess I will do another 3 hour chat session with Ashley to see if they can reschedule their tech for the 5th time.

Bought a few sofas, tables, and chairs from Ashley Furniture everything was good at the store until delivery day. I was extremely disappointed with the delivery I paid extra for them to deliver to my house and set up. I made sure I asked prior if all items were going to be in original packaging in which they said yes. On the day of delivery Items were wrapped poorly, not protected well , and not in original packaging. So if you think you will be receiving a white glove delivery for paying extra that is not going to happen. Buyer beware on delivery fees. I included pictures of wrapping and how the sofas came in dirty.

Very pleased with my purchase from this location. Right when we walked in we were greeted. The salesperson at the front asked if we were looking for someone specific, which we told him, yes. I had been researching furniture for months. The only dining set my husband and I could agree on was the Isanti collection. I asked if he had it in the store, they did and it was right in front. Right when I saw it, I knew I wanted it. We looked around the store for awhile but ultimately did not find anything else. Moses was the salesperson at the front, he found us at the back of the store, and helped us get financed, and finalized everything for us. He gave us a lot of information, he was so sweet and helpful. I have had bad experiences from sales people in furniture stores, this was definitely far from that. The set came when they said it would and the guy who put it together, did so quickly, and was also very nice. Very pleasant experience and will be buying from this store in the future.

Last year we purchased a pair of sofas. We were hesitating and on the fence when Moses the floor sales associate assured us that if we weren't happy with the sofas we could swap them out. He explained that before 1 years we could get the exact sofas replaced or apply the funds to another style if it weren't available. Not a return, but a swap. That made us feel confident in the choice. Fast Forward to a month before the 1 year mark. I called the store to use the swap. The sofas looked horrible because of a design issue. Although we were told before purchasing that the sofa could be machine washed, the cushions had ZERO liner. So the loose filling ALL had to be removed. And when it was removed of course lost any shape it had. My flat beautiful cushions now looked like rolls of fat sausage that take over half the seating space and leaves no room for the accent pillows. Since I have kids I actually wash cushions regularly, like I was told I could. The first thing the associate said when I called was " you can't just swap out a new sofa cause you don't like it, that's not a thing". Not an "I'm so sorry for any misinformation" etc. She then accusingly asked why I had waited "so long" if this was a problem. My personal life is non of anyone's business and this made me upset. Because in fact 5 months prior I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had to have brain surgery right after Christmas and was STILL recovering. It was only after insisting to try and remedy the problem she passed me to tech support. When tech support came they essentially fluffed my pillows and photographed " how dirty" the sofas were and any spots to show "how you've been taking care of them". I felt very judged and disrespected in my home, especially given my surgery, and let him know what he was saying came across as rude and condescending. There was no follow up to this appointment for 2 weeks. I called back. Amber said there was nothing to be done. Again, no apologies. Very flatly. So I asked to speak to a manager, but he wasn't available. She said she would speak to him and call me back after the weekend. I thanked her for that. Two plus weeks passed, nothing. I called back. Her response was "oh I forgot, he said no". Along this entire way the lack of professionalism was just ridiculous. I don't expect much these days but this was just too much. I never yelled at anyone or was rude and kept level through all interactions and yet was treated this way. I have since filed a complaint through the corporate line. The store set me new cushion covers. Not cushions to replace the deformed ones. Or any type of liner to at least encase them in, leaving my issue unresolved. I don't think I've ever gone out of my way to complain about my service with a store but the only kindness shown was filing my complaint with James and Sibby at Ashley corporate. All this time I never once wanted or had asked for a refund, I just wanted my issue resolved. But I will be calling corporate again and requesting a refund. For me a good business model is NOT misinforming customers to buy your product. It's not being rude to customer and condescending on the phone. It's not forgetting to call them back multiple times. And it's not being rude to them in their own home. We will definitely not be buying from Ashley again and I will not be recommending Ashley to any of my design clients going forward in the future.

Amanda was so amazing!!! I’m so glad we are able to edit these….. The sales representatives are absolutely amazing. The customer service representatives that sit behind the desk are so unprofessional and rude for no reason. Long story short we bought a couch that didn’t fit so we canceled the order the next day and picked a smaller cheaper couch. DEANA was so rude to me and to the sales representative Amanda when we tried to update the order. After making the switch Deana said we would have to pay another 200 dollars. We tried asking questions about the transaction and kept getting cut off or belittled. The transaction didn’t make any sense to us since the first couch we picked was way more expensive. Deana was already so angry and irritated we ended up just deciding to cancel the couch order all together. A couple days pass and I start seeing refunds after the large refund. I called customer service and they stated they were refunds from the first transaction.They were willing to explain everything. Fast forward to a week before our items are suppose to be shipped and I see an item on our order that should have been removed. I called the location and once again had to speak to Deana. She stated that she would cancel the item and I would see a refund. I asked her how much the refund would be for so I can keep an eye on my bank statement and once again very rudely she stated she couldn’t answer that question since she was the only one in today. I get that customer service can be tough but being rude to customers for no reason is not okay. Not once or twice but three times. We loved working with Amanda but we will never be returning to this store and we definitely won’t be recommending our friends or family members here

Staff is nice and friendly they work for the sale in store only. Delivery sucks not professional at all damaged items, to many to take pictures of, not placed in correct area, late and do not know how to use arrival time on their equipment to alert customers of arrival. States later or passed times. Quality of Ashley not the same from years prior on their quality of workmanship on their furniture. Ashley this was not a one piece order you furnished a full house so statement stands. Brought concerns to delivery staff was told to speak to store. I let them know Kindly I was nice as can be very calm cool and peaceful as guest welcomed in my home. When brought to delivery staff attention I would not sign as instructed by store to do so for the damaged items they packed up and left. Items still damaged and master big heavy bedroom set placed in an awkward position in the master bedroom. All wood furniture damaged with chips bumps and hits. Doors on items with doors are crooked as can be. They left my couches unplugged for us to figure out. Ashley sent a tech yes he repaired what he 1 person could do in time frame. Very nice person but delivery caused the issue. Take pictures and let Ashley Know if the same pattern persist.

I'm confused by the low rating for this store. I stopped in to see actual colors for a sofa I was potentially buying online or from one of their other stores. The manager, José, was amazing. He told me that the person most familiar was on lunch, but jumped in to guide me along anyway. I had to run out quickly for an appointment and when I returned Amanda had checked out the entire store for the color I was seeking and walked me through the store to each item- keep in mind that my likelihood of buying from them (needed delivery far away) was slim, but yet they knocked themselves out to help. Next time I'm looking and hopefully for delivery in their area- I'm going to Jose and Amanda.

I will never shop Ashley or pay for their protection program again. From day 1 I’ve had issues. The most recent problem was that the part of the bed that was supporting the slats broke off. I filed a claim. Over 6 months later they call me to fix the bed. I told them I couldn’t wait 6 months plus to get it fixed and my husband already fixed it. They call me back to tell me the part has already been ordered (not even the correct part). There’s no way I can cancel this order. So no a month later Ashley furniture is going to be delivering this wrong price of furniture that I don’t need, to my house. So when they come to deliver this furniture, I need to deny the delivery. I guess we’ll see what happens after that.

Their guarantee is not worth the time or money. I wish Macys had a home store in town, they treat customers better and have much better quality items. This place is the Walmart of furniture. Shop at your own risk. They deliver items in pieces. Meaning half a couch, with the other half in a month. Or a mattress without the base. Sad for my family and friends that have gone here.

This store DOES NOT honor purchased extended warranties! They had me going between their store and the warranty company. Both saying it was the other's responsibility. Drove me crazy! Horrible service after purchase. The delivery team is the worst they were checking out my wife from top to bottom tattoos all over face and were saying bad words while my kids were around. They also broke my furniture piece 5 times so had to reorder my furniture they finally delivered one in whole and scratched it and covered it up with black sharpeee beware buyers

Delivery of my furniture has been a headache. 2 promised dates of delivery have failed.. The first was scheduled for 11/24/23 between 8:30am-12:30pm. I called the day of at around 10am expecting an update like another furniture store usually does. I called and said they had rescheduled due to back order and admitted to failing on giving me a heads up. Second was scheduled today 11/29/23 between 12:00pm and 4:00pm. They told me the delivery was for 11/28/23 the day before but that’s not what showed on my side.. I confirm both deliveries on my side with them by clicking the links I get by texts. Sale was great at store but not delivery.

Updated review; Although Marie was fantastic I will never shop here for furniture again. It has been a complete nightmare from the moment I got home after my purchase. I was told in store that writing a check would allow my furniture to be delivered in just a couple of days. I was contacted by Ashley once I got home retracting that statement. They informed me that the check needed to be picked up by second party, cleared by who? WHO knows and then a schedule can be set. A mistake made by Ashley that at first they were not willing to fix. I dealt with someone up in the front desk whom was not only rude but very inconsiderate. It took me having to wait until the manager was in store three days later to get a resolution. Fast forward two weeks after the first promised delivery date and I'm given a delivery time between 12:45-4:45. I'm writing this review at 8:38, my couches are still not here. This place is a joke!!!! NEVER SHOP HERE!!!!! Marie did an excellent job helping my husband and I find our perfect couch. Very patient, not pushy at all. I will come back to Ashley's because of the great customer service Marie provided.

The initial process of buying a mattress at Ashley’s was great. Staff was extremely helpful, however my mattress was suppose to have gotten delivered to my new home Saturday Oct 14 in California as I had confirmed the day prior. Saturday morning I got a call my mattress would not be delivered because it had gotten sent to RENO! I called customer service and they were NO HELP. I have yet to receive confirmation if and when my mattress will be delivered. I will NOT be returning to purchase anything further to furnish my home.

If I could put a BIG FAT ZERO I WOULD!! Ashley's is by far the worst store to shop at. They told me that my order would be shipped out Oct. 4th. Then that day passed. I called and they told me no, that it won't be shipped out until the 22nd!! I then went down to the store to get a refund. They told me that it should be shipped out the 15th. I told them I do not like this back and forth and I would like a refund. They told me they couldn't process it because the person is out. Really!!? Only one person to process a refund!? I waited 3 days and nothing so I called. Every time I called the store I got directed to "customer support" They told me they would process the refund within 48 hours. Nothing!! Waiting for the email and they said they sent it but they did not! I am still waiting for a refund! Over all, I will never shop or recommend this store. I went over to another furniture store and got what I needes that day. Horrible company!!
Bought 2 new couches and an area rug. Waited a month to get my new furniture and they delivered the wrong color couches. Went into store to complain to manager and they said they would expedite my furniture.Then I got a call from the delivery department stating they couldn't deliver my couches for 2 more weeks. The error in the delivery was because Armando, the salesman forgot to write the color of the couches on the order.Not happy to wait 6 weeks for my furniture when it was in stock!kind of a Mickey Mouse Operation.

Came to Ashley's store in Visalia for a dresser for my kids room. Alex was very professional and informed me of all the locations in the store to look for what I was searching for. She gave us our privacy and let us shop in peace and when we were ready she helped us with our order. Cheap furniture that falls apart with a year. GBS enterprise warranty is fraud and garbage. They Deny every claim (google it BBB & consumer affairs). Cop out! WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!! Don't buy here!!! Couch broke and saging. GBS came. Ripped bottom apart. Then denied the claim. Now my couch is apart and their screw-in me!! Horrible customer service and support!!!!

Great service and great quality of furniture. The sales associate named Amanda M was wonderful and sweet, she made sure all information was correct and not many other stores do that and I don't have to wait long at all for my furniture and mattress. The financing terms are helpful especially when getting a tempurpedic and base like I did. If anyone needs a mattress or furniture go to Ashley Homestore and ask for Amanda, she's been a great help at filling each room in my house.
Went in to find some living room furniture for our new place. We were completely ignored when we walked in and were never acknowledged the whole time we were there. The staff were just sitting around on their phones or talking to each other. After 20 minutes of browsing around, we left and bought our furniture at Bob's. I would not recommend buying furniture here.

If I could give this place negative starts I would. The WORST furniture buying experience of my life. Back in march My family moved to a new home and had to start over with everything. Went to ashleys to purchase couches. Ended up giving them $1,500 towards sofa set, a patio set that was on clearance, a coffee table and a fireplace insert and Was told couches would be delivered along with my table and fireplace insert. Got a call the night before delivery to confirm. Then the next day got a call that the couches would not be delivered and they were not put on the truck for deliverey due to some damage on them. Then asked if I could go to the store and pick out a different set the lady said yes but the delivery truck was already on the way and it would be a different delivery date. I agreed because we had already been sitting on the floor for a few weeks. Got to the store and found ANOTHER sofa set we liked and then got told tha one could not be delivered for another 3weeks 😡 I told the lady we can't wait that long we've already been on the floor for too long. She said she understands if I wanted to purchase sofas elsewhere. I did just that. Then had to go through a whole other obstacles to get numbers and prices situated because they had already charged my synchrony account for the sofas. After a few weeks of arguing with them that i don't owe anything else to them, that the items I DID receive should be paid off with the $1,500 I paid them in cash. The price of each item was $520+279+549 I closed my account and now im receiving a bill for $189 and they're saying I still owe them. I don't understand how they figure I still owe money to them but I will get to the bottom of this and NEVER do business here again and I suggest you all do the same as well if your looking to purchase new furniture. Dont waste your time or peace of mind with ashleys. I

I had a great experience at the Ashley store. The atmosphere was calm, quiet, and clean. There were a lot of furniture options as well. The associate who helped me was Moses. Moses was incredibly professional, friendly, and extremely helpful in the process of helping provide information on the different furniture sets I was interested in. The deals and price matching were great as well as the delivery set up fee!! 10/10 would go again for future furniture purchases.

In the same manner, I give credit to the entire staff, they greet you well from the store entrance, and they show enthusiasm in rendering assistance to you during the visit.
I bought several items from Ashley Furniture. Do not purchase their warranty products. The warranty company always comes up with ways they don't cover your repair. They do not follow the warranty policy. It says it's covered but then they come back with some excuse that it not covered.
I appreciated the quick help I had in selecting a new sofa for my home. The service was fast and easy. Staff were very friendly which made the experience that much better!

We walked into the Ashley Furniture store in Visalia, CA on Tues night hoping to find 2 recliners, but not 100% sure we’d find exactly what we wanted. We were looking for something very specific. Alex (the sales representative) let us walk around and explore on our own while she looked in her catalog to see if they carried what we specifically were looking for. We found a rocker recliner that was absolutely perfect for our needs (it wasn’t what we were looking for in style, but it made up for it in comfort). She was very helpful in the sale and the store itself is set up beautifully and not overcrowded and messy like other furniture stores. We very much enjoyed our experience and we will be back.
Lucy was such a big help when my husband and I went to pick our new living room furniture. They had a great selection and Lucy as very informed on each of the sets we liked and helped us narrow down to our choice. The store warranty is really great and while I hope my new furniture won’t need repairing or replacing it’s nice to know I’ve got that to depend on.

Moses was very helpful when we showed up 15 minutes before closing. Not everyone is so helpful in my experience. He showed us every option he thought might fit our style profile and was ready with pricing, color options and delivery times. We ended up purchasing 2 sofas, and they were not the ones we had come in to see! I would have sat on them and left. But he suggested another set which was exactly what we were looking for. Our new sofas should be here in 7 days! If everything is on point at delivery I will give 5 stars. Service was 5 stars for sure! Until my sofas come I'll give 4 stars. Happy customers!

Bought a rather expensive mattress from Visalia Ashley a few years ago. Part of the deal was $300 in gift certificates and 50% a purchase of furniture. Went in to redeem gift certificates which they didn’t honor and the manager said no he had no 50% off being held for us. He didn’t even go look. We go in to Ashley about every three months to look for something to spend our certificates and discount on. Finally found something and lies. lies .lies! Will never shop Ashley again! Manager was a total jerk!

I will not purchase from Ashkey ever again. The furniture was scheduled for delivery, I took the day from work. It was confirmed. On that day I got a text stating that the delivery would be 2 days later. I called the number they said the delivery was put on hold which delayed delivery date. Ashley contacted a person in Iowa, instead of me, that person said this was a fraudulent purchase. All of this due to Ashley's staff making a mistake. 2nd time I purchased from both times were disasters. Never again!
Ashley Visalia raises the bar for a furniture store in this area. Huge showrooms, impeccable style, and friendly staff. They have so much selection that it is fun to just browse the showroom. This is our 4th house and purchased all furniture from Ashley. They sell quality furniture so I know that what I buy from them not only looks good, but is high quality and will last a long time. When trying to reschedule delivery they say there is nothing they can help you with bacsically giving me only one option to cancel my order. I needed a bedroom set along with a foundation and mattress. I had a budget which I thought wouldn't be possible especially me wanting a certain mattress and bedroom set. Chandler tried his best to get what I needed to fit within the budget by speaking with his boss Michael and Jeff. This place has been really patient with. My parents came to buy furniture as they just moved and the woman that was “helping” them said they couldnt purchase anything because they dont have an account?! After explaining to her multiple times that they have bought furniture from Ashley Furniture store before the woman still refused to sell anything because she “didnt want to mess anything up” They were appalled by what she was saying but eventually just left and went to purchase their furniture elsewhere.
Service was helpful, not overbearing. Sales rep gave clear answers with no hype or runaround. I will definitely shop there again.
I stopped at Ashley’s in Visalia. Luis was quick to help us however he was extremely pushy and no matter how many times we told him we do not want the protection plan. He still went ahead and add it to our cart. He kept talking how he sales over two million a year and how every other Furniture store is bad. We end up walking they lost a 4,000 sale! Never again.
And again this has been a horrible experience with Ashley furniture store(visalia) I had spent over $8,000.00 in SJ location (horrible people and service) because of it received $200.00 gift card for spending that much money. Obviously I never wanted to step foot in that store again so I had my sister use the gift cards for my mom. She went in (visalia location) and told the lady in the front desk (Latina lady) that she wanted to buy a large rug and had $200.00 gift card. The lady then told the workers on the floor ( the store was empty with no othe customers) that they wanted to buy a large rug. None of the workers went to them to assist. My sister finally had to scream out, "Hello, can anyone help!". Eventually someone came over (Martin) he said, "they don't want to help you because you are just using gift cards and not spending any money". So the rug they finally chose was on sale for $219.00 . When they went to buy it it came up to over $250.00 +tax....the lady checking out said that the computer was not reading the discount so it couldn't be applied. The workers were arguing with both my sister and mom very loudly and didn't want to give them the amount that was being sold for. The workers were rude, racist and uninviting to them. Hopefully management does something about this. This behavior is unnecessary and disgusting. I do not recommend this store...🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Purchased a bedroom set. It took two months to receive my whole order and customer service was rude when I asked when I was getting my shipment and why was I getting it in 20 separate boxes. They didn’t take returns. I will never order from Ashley again. Beware

Spent over $1000 at this location, and decided to have Ashley furniture put together my bed frame which costed additional money. BAD IDEA. There's numerous screws missing and loose. Because of that the bed frame has split majority in 2 different areas from that. Never ever will I buy anything from Ashley's again. I will also be canceling my Ashley's card and do not recommend anyone purchasing from them unless you're willingly to assemble it yourself.
Make sure u get everything in writing.....they tell u what u want to hear to by. My delivery date was fabricated to a date that was not delivered at that time. In fact it's another 6 days! What a disappointment! 😔

Our bed was a freaking waste of money and hunk of junk! The delivery folks, which I found out were contracted out, showed up early. Which typically would be great except it was 6:30 AM. Fine whatever. The bed was set up poorly(missing handles, slats not screwed in or double drilled so nothing will hold now) and trash left underneath it even! Our bed set showed up damaged, and after some back and forth the manager said they’d send out a technician the following week. They never came in the specified date. Called, was profusely apologized to and rescheduled. No one ever showed. I could never get a hold of anyone either at the store or at the number the manager called from. It’s been over a year, and the issues have only gotten worse.
Bought a dresser for $1,120.00 here in May 2022 that delivered a couple of weeks ago. When it was delivered, we found numerous defects with the assembly of the dresser (which was assembled prior to shipment and delivery). One of eight dresser drawers closes properly. The sliding assembly mechanisms on all of the other drawers were not installed properly. Three of the drawers are missing ball bearings, which were IN THE DRAWERS when the dresser was delivered. Screws were missing from some of the sliding assemblies, which means that the assemblymen could not be bothered to put in all of the hardware. Some of the assemblies were installed crooked, too. Absolutely no care was put into the assemblage of this dresser.So, we reported the problem to Ashley, who told us that the earliest that anyone could come out to repair the dresser--again, BRAND NEW--was 33 days from the date I called. That was the earliest.This is our third and final problem with Ashley. The other problems also happened this year: (1) They sold us a table that they said would be available in 6-8 weeks. When that time frame came and went, they then told us it would be an additional 12-16 weeks "probably". Not cool. (2) We ordered a five-tiered kitchen shelf assembly ($676.00) from them, and once again we found missing hardware, cracked wood, and that the furniture was literally glued together. Atrocious quality and very obviously no Quality Assurance at Ashley after assemblage of the furniture.Ashley Home Store: We will NOT EVER be back. Other reviewers also give Ashley one star--shop elsewhere!
Don’t buy from this place. I received damaged products on 06/07/22 and they said they will send a technician to fix it on 06/09/22. Nobody showed up and went to their local store the next day and they said it is scheduled for 07/09/22. They made me wait 1 month for the bed and another month to have a technician come down. They wouldn’t refund because it’s after 72 hours refund window period. They gave me the wrong date which consequently pushed out my refund period and wouldn’t honored it. Called their customer service twice and each time approximately 50-58 minutes to have a representative from oversea with broken English and rooster crowing in the background that could not understand the issue and completely useless. Their delivery & assemble services were a joke because they over-screwed my bed causing a hole in the open and poorly assembled. Billion dollar company with garbage customer support. Stay away from this place it’s toxic.

I do not recommend visiting this establishment. I ordered a sofa which took more than six months to arrive. When I went in to purchase, the sadness person was great: only he told me the sofa would arrive in 6-8 weeks. The arrival date kept getting pushed out. I called and then they supposedly gave me a discount on the matching arm chair and leg rest. It was ridiculous! I ended up paying more for the chair and leg rest than the sofa. Furthermore, I received those pieces before my initial sofa order. In the end, I called the corporate office to make a complaint. As consumers we invest money in a company. What do we receive while our money is tied up!? The corporate associate told me the store would call me to order me compensation and a claim associate would be contacting me in about ten business days. It's been about five months. I haven't heard anything. The furniture is well made. But I refuse to do business with a dishonest business or person.

Went in looking for a sectional sofa. Found a nice one, in leather, which was priced at $10,000 +. They offered us several discounts, even called the manager over to make sure we got it at the "best price they could", manager said he wanted happy customers. Wanted us to pay for shipping ($300.00+), and a ridiculously overpriced "protection plan" ($700.00 +). They got the price down to around $5500.00. We wanted to look around a little more before deciding. Came home and got on Ashley furniture website and found the same $10,000 sofa for $4,200.00. With a couple of online discounts price came to $3,400.00, with free shipping. Avoid this place, they only sell Ashley branded furniture and operate like shady used car dealers.

I bought three items, one was delivered with no issue. One they set up but it has a hole in the frame of it and claimed it as it was delivered without issue. The last one they said was broken and said customer service would call me the day of the delivery or the next day. It's been three days and no call.

Warning to anybody wanting to shop at ashley furniture store We bought a couch and chair at the establishment in visalia, ca. looked very nice. Got it delivered and immediately was creaking like it was 40 years old. Within 4 months, my wife and i were simply sitting down and the couch gave way! Crack! What happened?! The bottom gave out and made It almost impossible to sit down any longer. No worries as we paid extra for the extended Warranty and should be able to replace this in an appropriate time and manner. Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! Boy were we wrong. After many, and i mean many phone calls because i am persistent and it almost seemed personal at this point, i kept trying, even though the customer service line just keeps hanging up after 20 minutes. So….we walked into the store and a lady helped us who seemed helping but could tell that this happens constantly and gave us a new customer service number…ahh…. Some hope! A customer service tech is now scheduled to meet us at a certain date. Great! This is about 2 month after our couch broke btw. He comes and looks at our couch and tells me he can’t do anything about it, which is obvious to me because it is severely broken but he explains to me that it should be covered Under warranty and gives me a new phone number to call…. Several attempts to that phone number and after about a month they explain to me it should be the company’t pronlem because it hasn’t been a year yet and the warranty can’t take place so they will contact ashley and tell them about the problem. After many more phone calls and about a month ashley furniture tells us they checked with the customer service tech who came out to our house and he claimed it was our fault for breaking the couch so they wouldn’t be able to help us. So what about the extended warranty? Well, since they didn’t help us they could refund our warranty only but the couch is on us. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯. I have never had such bad customer service. Please don’t buy furniture from this store. I warned you

We have purchased a lot of furniture over the years from Ashley's, so when we were in need of a small bedside table, it was easy to know where to look. In a matter of approximately five minutes, we found what we were looking for, and it was on clearance. Hooray! The sign said we could take it with us. Another Hooray! It should not take 30+ minutes of paperwork to pay for a table and load it in our car, but it did. In no way are we placing any blame on the salesperson, none. She was doing her job. We weren't there to purchase a car, but you would never know it by all the paperwork involved. There has to be a simplier and faster way to process a purchase, especially one that does not require order and delivery. Hopefully this review will get the correct wheels spinning to bring a resolution to life.

My sister bought a mattress at Ashley's and had it for only 3 days and they wouldn't replace it. When they noticed there mattress had a divot in it, they immediately called there warranty dept (they bought extra warranty insurance) and they wouldn't honor it. They wanted them to wait til the divot got bigger, what the f kind business is thatMy brother recently bought a new mattress and had it three months with similar issues (no extra insurance bought) they replaced it immediately without a charge and no hassle, obviously they didn't buy from Ashley's

I was looking for a new sectional for my house and decided to stop in to the Ashley Home store in Visalia, CA. I ordered the sectional and deivery was late. I also ordered a dresser, it arrived gouged inside the drawers and broken drawer pulls. I requested a refund and they tried to refuse. It took 2 months for them to pick up the dresser and refund my purchase. It was a huge hassle! I closed my account and will never go there again.

The sales person Amanda was sweet. I do not have a problem with her. My problem is with your manager and with your policy. I bought furniture there a few years ago and they recommended your Ashley Home Store Credit Card. I applied and I put all the furniture on it. No issue. About 2 months ago, I bought a table on your website and used the card, no problem. Then I try to purchase a dresser today and they said I have to put cash down before they would use the card. They acted like they never saw your own credit card before. Why would I use two different cards to purchase, when I never used that before. So when you go to Chevron and buy gas, make sure you put half down with cash then use your Chevron card. Now doesn't that sound ridiculous?? I think it is wrong that your company requires people to use a different card to put a down payment on it and then use the Ashley credit card to complete the payment. This will be the last item I purchase from your company. I love your products and my entire house is almost all Ashley. But this was the worst experience I have ever had.

Don’t go here! All of their workers just sit around doing nothing. They never answer the phone and we paid for a delivery date but then it was pushed it back 2 months without even letting me know.
The furniture in the store is identical to the items available online, yet this store charges 3-4 times as much. 1400$ for a dresser I was able to buy online for 450$. Also the manager is rude. I do not recommend. There are a lot of other stores locally that sell Ashley furniture much cheaper and they aren't rude.

Do not believe a word he says. The customer service were unwilling to help once they failed to deliver on there shipment and it’s basically impossible to return there furniture. We ordered my whole living room set, dining table, & bedroom set back in October 2020. It took 3 months for our whole couch to get here, we only had one part for the longest. All my living room accessories came BROKEN. My table STILL TIL THIS DAY HAS ONLY 3 CHAIRS. It’s September 10th 2021. We get harassed by their acceptance now because we only financed the table & entertainment center. The rest was paid off in cash. They have came to replace our table 3 times, but the tables are worse than the one I have. It’s BEYOND ridiculous & very frustrating at this point. We can’t even have a family dinner at our table.. I will never again purchase from Ashley We told them to pick up the table about 4 months ago because we don’t want it anymore, & they scheduled us idk how many times to pick it up, yet it is still here. Super unprofessional for such a big name company.

I know very little about furniture stores, but I know quality when I see it. Walking into Ashley with my family in tow, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Overall, it's a great, no-pressure experience where you can sit and sample as many comfy couches as your heart desires.My mother-in-law was in need of a new sofa set for her family room and we thought the Labor Day sale, where everything is basically half off was about as good as it gets when looking for the best option to suit her needs. The furniture here, from the leather couches to the dressers to the beds and the mattresses, is all high quality. It's a vast, air conditioned warehouse with plenty to choose from. The gal helping us was very sweet. However, there was one hiccup in that when we were about to leave we decided to buy a world map they used as decor that they had now discounted to $5. Instead of this process being a simple transaction, it involved ten minutes of jumping back and forth between two registers across the store from one another and giving them a whole bunch of my info from name to email to address. It was annoying because it was a discounted picture, not a new bedroom set. Other than that I can't complain.

So I have to go there to talk to customer service. The girl in receptionist wearing glasses and has apple watch was clueless. Went into store was greeted by Jorge. What a nice experience. Showed me the sofas I was looking for. Great deals and beautiful showroom. Loved the store. I did purchase my sofa. Thank you. I’m adding to my review from a month ago. I did receive my sofa chaise. But after my email confirmation of delivery the next day I was called and told my sofa chaise was back ordered. I had to wait another 2 weeks. On September 1st I received my delivery. BUT… my chaise came with no feet. The delivery guys called someone and I over heard her tell them my feet would be delivered in about 7 days. So I waited and waited. I tried calling on a Friday every number on the card and sakes ticket. I could not reach anyone. Then last Monday I started calling at 830 am. After 35 minutes on hold I got a human. And got disconnected. I called back and got disconnected. After another 30 minutes on hold the 3rd time I got the most rude girl and she told me my order was not placed and after arguing with her she hung up on me. So I got into my car and drove 1hour and 20 minutes to the Visalia store and blew up on them. The manager Michael Phelps calmed me down and assured me he would take care of it. He has been in contact with me and as of today my chaise feet have arrived. Thanks Michael. Please do something about phone customer service. They are horrible.

I ordered a bedroom set with 2 twin foundation mattresses to make up for a king mattress. When the delivery guys showed up only 1 foundation mattresses came, so my pregnant wife can’t sleet in her bed. I called Ashley’s and they said they were going to give me a call back… 2 days later and I am still waiting…
We walked in to the Ashley Home Store in Visalia and were pleasantly greeted by Moses. He asked us what we were looking for. Once we explained to him, he pointed us in the right direction and did not pressure us, but was available to answer questions! We found what we were looking for and also decided to look at mattresses as well. He was able to work a great deal for us! He was the best. It's very hard these days to find great customer service, but he more than exceeded our expectations. In addition Vanessa at the payment desk was awesome as well. If you are looking for good furniture, great customer service and you're close to Visalia, try Ashley Home Store! We recommend highly!

Walked in not expecting to be ignored by employees. You won't be told hello or asked if you need help and the employees can be standing right in front of you. Employees are very robotic with no people skill. Also the prices are very reasonable but you don't have the option to pick up the items yourself they will deliver at a very high price. It seems like the discount you get compared to other places they add on as delivery charges. Don't recommend it at all.
This review is long overdue! We have purchased a coffee table/side table set, a living room sectional + ottoman, and a dining table set + rugs on 3 separate occasions. Sales staff Vanessa, Jorge, and Valerie each helped us with our purchases and Manager Mike assisted us every time. They all were amazingly helpful and patient with us - excellent customer service all around! Mike also went above and beyond for us and gave us such great deals! We always walked out happy with our purchases and each piece of furniture that we bought has been of great quality thus far. Huge thanks to Mike and his team!

Have had to clear out my mom's room twice because they can never deliver when they say they will. Garbage company with trash employees
When purchasing dealt with a very predatory salesman. Showed us a around 3000$ specific brand mattress, when asked if there was anything with that brand any cheaper he responded no. These are all around 3000$. But magically when financing didn't go expected there was suddenly a 2200 mattress that worked even though no checking or verification was done. Moved onto buying bedroom furniture didn't really listen to anything we had to say and kept showing us stuff more expensive than wanted and downplayed the stuff we did choose. When the financing gal came over he was very disrespectful to her eventhough she was exceedingly nice to the point I had to call him out to the point he was making my girlfriend uncomfortable. Told him I had a deadline of 20 left until I had to leave for work but he took 45min with zero communication, he just kept walking away disappearing for lengths of time. Fast forward to our chosen delivery date of the 5th and they were month delayed so we had to sleep on the floor with no communication it was going to be a month delayed. Now it's been 2 months since purchase and I still don't have a TV stand. Fireplace insert was damaged so they wouldn't delivery either piece until they could deliver together to save them money even though it was suppose to be here last week and now it's not going to be until the 14th. Overall repeated delays with no communication. Tried to talk to store manager of visalia store to try to get a partial refund or compensation from a overall exceedingly negative experience but no sort of reperation was offered nor was he worried about his workers behavior or delays. I would 9 out of 10 not reccomend this store. I've had good experiences in other Ashley's but not this one. I've had better experiences/customer service overseas from people who hated me due to my skin color than I did at this store. I'll never go back. The delivery process was horrible! I had to take a day off work to be home for the delivery. The bed was damaged so I had to take a second day off to get the bed delivered. It was damaged again. The warehouse called to reschedule yet again, saying they were going to give me "VIP" delivery. Apparently, VIP delivery just means they're going to inspect the furniture before it leaves the warehouse. How is this VIP? Shouldn't you do that anyway? And I have to take ANOTHER day off to get it delivery because this B.S. VIP delivery doesn't mean you can pick a delivery time. I still have to wait the day before for a 4 hour time window to be given to me.

Will not buy another piece of furniture from Ashley Furniture. Bought the Bardarson sectional and the Puckman accent chair. The Puckman chair was bent when they assembled it and the chaise was not filled properly. Contacted the store after two weeks of not being able to get a hold of them via phone. I told them I did not want the chair and I was told there is nothing they could do and I had to keep the chair. POOR Customer Service
If I could give ZERO stars, I would. This place is a joke. Delivery kept getting pushed back, multiple times, we had to change orders because the delivery date was punched so far out, only for our order to be cancelled in the end. Biggest mistake we ever made while moving was purchasing furniture from this place. Waste of time, energy and money.
We went and ordered 3 accent chairs because they said they were in stock and would take a week to deliver. 1 month went by so we called and found out it would take at least another month before we would get our chairs. So we cancelled our order. They told us we would get our refund in 5 business days. After 2 weeks we never got our refund. We went in to see why they did not cancel our order and the lady said we never cancelled our order. Horrible customer service

Another company I previously bought from kept delaying my shipping date and had poor communication- so I canceled my order. Jose helped me find my couch and locked in a delivery date, as well as updated me to let me know it would be coming earlier than expected!

I made a purchase of around $10,000 the first week of February at the Visalia store, some discounts were aplied, good customer service, a delivery date was set up and we reached a deal. However, when it comes to delivery it has been a nightmare! 2 deliveries and still not completly set up due to some items broken and the negligence of the staff who damaged my furniture, doors & walls. The second crew refuse to set up everything and left without finishing it. We did not ask for free delivery, we paid and as a customer satisfaction is what we expect.
This was a great experience and the manager was awesome!! He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. We will definitely shop here again!
My fiance and I first went in looking for inspiration for our new home that we are moving into in a few months. Regina helped us and answered any questions that we had about pricing/scheduling, and when we went this past weekend, she quickly helped us select our pieces! They were also extremely helpful with making sure we would get all of our pieces on time and scheduled our delivery with ease!

It will be a long time before I ever do business with this company again. I ordered furniture the beginning of September to be delivered the beginning of January, went to get it delivered and they are missing my dining room table. They told me it would be in 2 weeks later. Here it is over 2 months later and still no table. It’s excuse after excuse! They deliver it finally and it’s broken and missing hardware so they take it back. I get told they will call me, guess what, they never did! After I call multiple times I finally get it set up for a delivery, only to be called the next day to be told that there is another “delay” and I need to wait another week. They are issuing me a refund for the “inconvenience”. I’m supposed to have it within 10 days, that was 6 weeks ago and it’s still processing so I just have to wait. Worst customer service ever!!!

We purchased 3 pieces of furniture on January 3rd from the Visalia, CA location with a guaranteed delivery date of January 12th. When the 12th came and went we were understanding due to Covid and potential delays. On the 21st we called and were told that the store must have mistaken and the items were actually back ordered and would be delivered on the 11th of February. When the 11th came they again delayed us to the 20th. Again when we called they were unable to give us a good reason and were only communicating because we called them. When we called on the 20th they again delayed us to the 24th. The customer rep told us to call on the 23rd morning just to make sure they confirm us and get a good delivery time. When we called they AGAIN delayed us to March 5th. 2 months after original purchase. I've spoken to the store who refused to allow us to talk to a manager and only offered a refund on the delivery cost after I repeatedly had to call and ask for more information. Than they NEVER processed the refund. I've called customer service many times and they were rude and unwilling to help outside of guaranteeing us delivery dates that never actually happened. We ultimately decided to cancel the order and take our business elsewhere. It is disappointing when a store and company clearly have no care for their customers and when they do not communicate about changes. I would highly recommend you find a different location for your furniture needs.

I purchased furniture and yes, due to Covid-19 I had two minor delays. What made the entire purchasing experience enjoyable was salesperson, Maria. If you are lucky have her assist you. Bad experience. I’ve been waiting since mid December for my dresser and mirror. they rescheduled 4 times and each time they did, my shipment wasn’t routed every single time. Jan 24: no one came, Jan 28: no one came, Feb 3: no one came and now they tried to reschedule for March 3rd. So we went to the store physically and told them and they said that the soonest they can do is February 17. If they don’t deliver I am canceling.

Disappointed that this place is so unorganized. Couldn't find my order, finally delivered my furniture and pieces are damaged and now they can't even find me in the system to get my new piece that was damaged. Ridiculous!

To begin my reason, Doug who works at this store completely lied to us and now our new apartment is completely empty with no furniture and has been since the beginning of December when we finalized our purchase with him, we officially moved in mid November. He had told us it would be delivering in 3 weeks but might be around mid January due to covid and we took that into consideration, when we didn’t hear any word on the delivery status we called Ashelyhomestore customer support and they told us the delivery is pushed back and they said we should’ve been informed by the store we had originally purchased the couches at but we NEVER heard anything about delivery being delayed and now it’s been delayed once again so we will be going into almost 3 months with no furniture. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE.
Never again will I buy here. Just letting you guys know you will regret it.

BEWARE -purchased furniture here in November and still have not received. I specifically asked the salesman if the furniture was available before I purchased and was promised an early December date after she “checked” inventory . We have been called on 4 separate occasions to have delivery date changed due to a specific piece being on back order-which seems to be a different piece each time. They said other pieces were being held for backordered piece and then mysteriously it becomes backordered too. My daughter had a similar experience of waiting from September to late December also , I should have learned from her past experience. This company definitely oversells merchandise they obviously do not have to make a sell. Would not recommend this company unless you have months before you actually need your furniture! I will wait for my new February delivery date and if not received as promised I will be requesting a refund, no one has time to deal with being strung along.
This place is a joke, impossible to get a hold of and after the sale they zero effort to assist the customers that spend thousands of dollars... over 3 months to deliver and show up with the wrong items...

We purchased a full dinning set, sectional and ottoman on 11-13-2020 and still do not have the sectional or ottoman!!! 61 days later. No one answers the phone. We have had to call 4 times and are now told the couch is still not going to be in until FEB 5th!!! It was supposed to be delivered on December 26th!! The sales man was a liar and just tried to make a fast sale. We will never shop here again. I only wish we had read reviews first. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Also we were promised a refund for the protection plan the salesman didn't tell my Mom was not free, still no refund. They must be hurting to keep funds in their accounts!

with this being one of only two big store furniture store in town, you would think that they would take care of customers better. we bought a couch and recliner that are falling apart and we went into store almost 2 weeks to tell them of the problem and were told someone would be out to check on problem and still no word from them. we feel like they dont care about you until they have your money. each day these go unfixed make it hard on our bodys to sit in. remeber word of mouth is you best advertising tool. think how it sound for a elderly couple to be taken advantage of, and now this lady answers the phone and tells me we need to send them pictures. im 70 years old just had my hip replace im sure my doctor would love me to try and tip this couch or recliner over to send them pictures
Best experience I have had at a store in a while. Sales Associate Moses was very helpful, kind and made my whole experience fantastic. I would definitely recommend to others just on shopping experience alone. Also got a great deal during their Black Friday sales.
We ordered a bed frame, mattress, box spring, head board, a dresser, and two night stands. When the furniture was delivered, the delivery guys told us that the head board could not be attached to the bed frame we purchased. This is information we should have been given at the time of purchase so that we could have explored more options. We did not accept delivery of anything. We have reached out to Ashley Furniture several times. We keep getting told that somebody will call us back between 24 and 48 hours.We have decided to take our business elsewhere.
Floor sales reps are great, but the managers need to learn how to treat people and their employees in a more professional manner. It’s extremely unprofessional to tell an employee who is new that they are doing their work wrong in front of the customer (me). Also, if Ashley doesn’t like it when you purchase with a gift card that was given by them, then why give them out in the first place? Ashley used to be a great place to get quality furniture but they seem to cut a few corners. I’ve had my furniture for almost a year now and it has deteriorated more than expected. Make sure to buy the warranty or look elsewhere.
UPDATE: I canceled my order because they keep being shady and went to Oak Liquidators instead. Got a sectional for $1000 less and same quality. I paid on a Sunday and 3 days later they delivered. Don&'t waste your time with Ashley furniture. Also, they are now taking their sweet time refunding my order.
Worst experienced I’ve had buying anything!!!! They are overpriced and don’t know what they are doing. I cancelled my order the same day that I placed it and they went from telling me that it would take 3 days to receive my money back to 21 days!! They have the worst customer care. I have been trying to get a refund for the past week and no seems to know what they are doing. I have gone in person to the store and called multiple numbers. No one picks up at the Colton center which is the place that is supposed to take care of my refund. I can’t believe Ashley’s is holding on to my $2,000 as if it’s not a big deal!! I will never go back.
Absolutely terrible- do not buy from them. Ordered furniture and no one told me it was on back order. The delivery ppl came with only half my order. Have been waiting several days and still haven’t received a refund. A huge waste of my time and money. Spend your money somewhere else.
Getting your items delivered will be a nightmare!!!! The worst customer service I have ever encountered. They ask you to choose a delivery date then don’t even deliver on that date. We have waited 5 weeks and expected a delivery today. We called today, after they confirmed a delivery today at 9am 2 days ago but now they tell us the expected delivery date is not until December 15!!! I am appalled at the horrible service we are receiving. They won’t even do a partial delivery even though they have 2 out of 3 of our items ready. Avoid this place!
Folks don&'t let them get too smart with you here at this furniture store because yesterday Veterans Day, according to manager Michael Philip, he&'s a cheater! He told me that they had some free tempur pedic pillows when buying something and they would give them to me as a gift, it turns out that I did buy and not just for the quilts but because I liked the sofas but it turns out that the man was charging me $ 300.00 more for the two pillows that according to were free, this should not be done mr. Michael, don&'t be a thief! we need more honest people in this world!
Please never buy anything from this store. We have purchased couches twice from here and along with the 5 year extended warranty which literally covers NOTHING. The salesmen sell You the world and make promises about the extended warranty knowing it s nothing at all. The threads and seams on our couches started coming apart within the first 6 months of purchasing them. When we called to file a warranty claim neither Ashley which is supposed to cover the first year of warranty couldn’t cover this. Our extended warranty as well didn’t cover this. Don’t buy couches from here or anything! It’s expensive and low quality.
We had an amazing experience this weekend! We were in the need of new couches and Doug Carnley was an amazing sales rep. to deal with. He answered all of our questions and gave us great pointers while shopping. He helped us find a set of couches we love! The purchase was smooth. I would highly recommend going in and dealing with Doug!
I bought a Tempur-Pedic mattress, BIG MISTAKE!! I talked to my sales associate (who was the sales manager) the very next day. I even sent pictures to make sure I got the right bed because it felt NOTHING like the mattress that was in the store. The first night was horrible and the next day my entire body hurt. This is NOT what I expected with the Tempur-Pedic. The sales manager asked me to give it two weeks and if I was not happy he assured me that they would exchange it. I was miserable the entire week and I could not make it two weeks. Not able to sleep well and I can only describe it as I feel like I’m sleeping on the floor. A week later I notified the sales manager again. He responded and told me that he had good news and that corporate office would release the funds to do my exchanges and it would take 10-14 days. He asked me to go into the store Monday night (last night) to select another mattress. When I arrived to the store I was told the sales manager was not in. I texted him to let him know that I was there like we had arranged. He apologized for not being there but asked me to go ahead and pick out another mattress and let him know which one I wanted. At the same time he was texting me, I was informed that the sales manager I had been working with had in fact been FIRED two weeks prior! He had been stringing me along as if he was still working there and was going to help me. At this point I lost it! I am NOT sleeping well like they promised I would with the Tempur-Pedic and it is NOT good for my health like they also promised. The store manager was not at all interested in what I had to say as I tried to show him all the conversations I had. I was in tears trying to explain to him what had transpired over the last two weeks. All he said was that he would talk to corporate office and someone would contact me in a few days. I was shocked that he was the “STORE MANAGER” because he not only lacked customer service skills but overall human compassion. He kept telling me that the sales manager was fired for this exact reason. (I’m assuming fraud) I’m disgusted!! The store manager made me feel as though I was at fault when I was trusting who I thought was his sales manager. How would I have known he was fired? For $5,000 I should be sleeping very comfortably! I’m unhappy with the product and disappointed with how I was treated, lied to and made to feel disregarded. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and VERY EXPENSIVE MISTAKE! This store does NOT care about taking care of their customers.
It depends on the sales person, my first time was great, but the second and third was terrible due to unfriendly and rude comments by an older sale man.

Upon purchasing a couch on Labor Day weekend my girlfriend and I were excited to purchase a couch and were told that it could be delivered to our house in Paso Robles. This was per the store manager and the associate and confirmed. A few days later we get a phone call from an associate saying they can&'t deliver and that we don&'t deliver to that area. So watch who gives you your info upon purchase of a couch or any furniture from this store, very big let down, we would have never purchased had we known this result. Not happy with this issue, DO NOT RECOMMEND this STORE. In the End we are getting our money back!!!!!
Before you purchase they are GREAT! Super helpful and nice. BUT... As soon as you buy something they could care less about you as a customer.I ordered furniture in June. I understand because of COVID that things aren&'t going as planned so the first 4 times they rescheduled the delivery on me I let it slide. Today I got a call that my delivery for tomorrow is only for half my couch. I&'m furious. I had already taken the day off and now that&'s a waste.I called the Visalia location honestly just hoping for an apology. I did not receive an apology just some attitude and her questioning why I didn&'t just do partial delivery. I don&'t have time to sit and wait for a couch for 1 four hour window let alone 2. But hey! She offered me a $100 gift card to their store that I never want to shop at again

I've being going to Ashley's for a long time now. This time I had a bad experience. The manager was rude to is and made me feel like he was doing me a favor by selling me the furniture. Sales person Jose came and helped us . He treated us with respect and I would go back because of Jose. The manager who I was told is in training should not be there.
Husband and I regret purchasing from here. Questions I asked were answered with a lie. When we finally got our items, 50% of our order had visible damage. To get a hold of someone is so hard. When I finally spoke to someone they said they would send the parts of a broken bench. Been over a month and called again. They are sending somebody out. Why wasn't that an option to begin with? They also said we would get a gift card. Nothing in the mail. REALLY HORRIBLE PLACE TO SHOP.
Sure the employees are great but let me tell you, delivery is atrocious! Ordered in July. Told I would get it in August. "Something" happened and was told Nov. 3rd. Hmmm. That was a no go for me so I asked for a refund. That only took about 3 weeks to get my money back. All in all... bad, horrible, experience with their corporate office and delivery service!

Went inside the store knowing EXACTLY what I wanted. Went in and out not caring how much it was just knew it was what I wanted. It came in 3 months later just to find out my order was WRONG. They ordered me a KING size bed frame with QUENN size mattress, when everything was just supposed to be QUEEN SIZE. They then said my RIGHT furniture would be delivered in 3 days. Just to follow up with them and then they said I could wait 8 days with 400$ off if I didn’t cancel. Just to receive a call 7 days later saying I had to make my delivery appointment which would not be until 3 more weeks! I went in and the MANAGER helped me not just an employee. And THE MANAGER was the one that promised for my furniture to be in , in 8 DAYS not just a regular employee.
Worst furniture store in the central valley! Associates take turns lying about the availability of furniture items. If furniture is NOT AVAILABLE for 6 months, DON'T DISPLAY IT!

I gave Ashley HomeStore one star only because you can&'t give them zero stars. I will never ever ever do business with Ashley again. Their furniture is straight up crap and their customer service is pathetic. I ordered two dining chairs and one fell apart. When the technician came and looked at it he said they didn&'t even use the correct materials and had used inferior product at that. It took me 2 1/2 months to get my replacement chair. I was scheduled eight times 8!for delivery. Of those 8×, 6 times I was left hanging and had to make calls to find out what was going on. Bottom line: their automated system schedules you for a delivery regardless of whether the item is in stock or not. They know it&'s an issue but they don&'t care. It&'s OK to them that a customer is left hanging rearranging their day and their schedule to be home for delivery. I spoke with at least four different supervisors who used the word &"guarantee&" with me when saying my delivery was coming. Never did it arrive after speaking with them. 8 times!! Never ever ever again.
I had looked all over Visalia for furniture. Ashley furniture was the last place I came to. I am so glad that I came here. The service was so professional. I never felt pressured. The associate knew exactly what I wanted and needed. I was able to find and purchase my living room set and dining set, with a delivery set up date, in less than an hour. Terrible experience. They promised two weeks for delivery time and it turned into six weeks. Asked to cancel the order and get a refund since we needed it soon they said it would take six days for it to post it has been 10 days and no response. The customer service number hangs without connecting to anyone. Don't buy from them. Honestly what terrible service.
Buying furniture and mattresses for the first time can be stressful, especially if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Doug was very helpful during this process. He constantly encouraged me to take my time when making decisions, and never tried to upsell anything to me that I didn’t need. I will continue to return to Ashley’s and ask for Doug for any home needs in the future.
The financial system that ashley’s uses is horrible and can not reach no one. They give you different numbers. Giving a person the run round so the client gets stuck with paying the interest.
I purchased a bedroom set in may and lost my paperwork. I have been trying to reach out by email, chatting on line and calling and have recieved no response. How are you supposed to get a hold of them ? It is ridiculous how many times I've tried . I will never purchase from them again. They have terrible customer service. Purchased an overpriced couch and was sold on their protective Insurance plan! Couch ripped in 6 months and when I called to have it fixed through Insurance plan they denied my request saying it was normal wear in tear on seam line! I have never had a couch rip in 6 months and we don’t have any young kids at home to cause it! Will never buy furniture at this store again

They did not have them and suggested we try the Visalia Store because it is a bigger than their&'s. I found they have a better selection of items. 119.99 set up fee for a mattress and box spring. Then the delivery guys who did not show up at the agreed upon times. Put it in the garage and leave. I will be happy to get my money back when the class action lawsuit happens.

I ordered and paid at the beginning of June and was told my sofa set would be delivered on July 15. Salesman stated he would text me additional information regarding delivery, and I haven’t heard from him since. I received a call a couple days before July 15 to tell me that one of the items was on back order and would be in stock until August 1st. They did mention they could deliver the rest of the set, but I opted to wait since I did not want a partial set. They asked me to call August 1st to see if an earlier delivery date was available (before new scheduled delivery date of August 26). I called and they stated it could be delivered August 5th. They gave me a confirmation number and told me they would be sending a text the day before with an approximate delivery window. Not only did I NOT receive a text, but the couches were never delivered as promised. Very disappointed with Ashley Furniture and I will not be shopping with them again.
Wish there was a no-star review. Bought recliners for my senior parents and they are not a good fit. Contacted this store upon delivery and never received a response. Finally went in-store(did not want to go in due to Covid-19 safety) but had to and still could not discuss. I had to open a &"case&" to discuss return/exchange. A few days later, I am told that they cannot be returned or exchanged due to delay. Bologna! Don&'t waste your time or energy here.
We were waiting in the parking lot for the store to open when a salesman rudely pointed out to us we were taking up two parking spaces by the way there were no other cars in the parking lot so we went to another furniture store and bought furniture
I visited Ashley to purchase a couch and loveseat and ended up with a Tempur-Pedic mattress as well. Doug was my salesman and has been for 20 years. He never disappoints me with deals and product. I went to Ashley’s looking for furniture as a first time home buyer. I was greeted immediately and was able to find everything I was looking for as well as received top quality service. Everyone in this store was kind, willing to help and enthusiastic. I would highly recommend this store and will definitely return for any other things I need! Doug was our helper and was awesome. Very helpful and knowledgeable about all products!

I purchased my furniture at a location in Milpitas. Our experience went smoothly. The problem begins with the delivery. Pieces were missing so the delivery guys could not build our furniture. We were told a technician would come out within 48 hours and I am still waiting a week later. Customer service is absolutely no help. Our bed was improperly assembled resulting in a lopsided bed. We have no dishware with the dining set we purchased and to top it off the delivery truck rolled improperly off of our drive way and broke our cement. I am livid sitting and waiting again for customer service to do something. DO NOT SHOP WITH ASHLEY HOME STORE UNLESS YOU WANT A HEADACHE EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.
This place does not care about their customers. YES! they will LIE to you to your face and when you try to get a hold of someone because your delivery gets all messed up and your purchase item is DAMAGED, all of a sudden, they are too busy to answer . I asked questions before we purchased because we do not have a truck to bring the items with us. The employees said it was no problem, they deliver to where we live (on base) all the time with no problem. What they don&'t tell you is that their employees who deliver don&'t read any of their delivery destinations and don&'t carry their ID&'s. Also they don&'t have base access. Therefore, you have to escort them in. If you don&'t have a car to go to pass and ID to do so, then sucks for you. Took me 6 calls and over 2 hours to get a hold of someone and all she said is that their delivery is &"glitchy&" and that all she knows. Very unprofessional person. This Ashley furniture place is horrible. Believe me, go somewhere else.
BEWARE!!!!!! I have purchased 3 times from Ashley's and have had a terrible experience with delivery every time. 1) Purchased leather sofas and they had scuffs on several corners. Delivery guys said they would "report" the problem. Technician never showed up. 2) Purchased a bedroom set and I had to argue with the delivery guys to have them set it up (after I paid $180 for set up and delivery). They left without setting it up and eventually came back because they left the wrong mattress. 3) Again...trying to give Ashleys another chance, I went ahead and ordered a bedroom set for my son. It turns out one of the side rails was missing for the bed. The delivery guys called Ashley's and informed them of the missing piece. One week later, I still haven't gotten a call back and I have not been able to get a hold of a customer care representative. I am tired of calling. The bed is useless. I will have to continue calling...which is ridiculous for the amount I spent. ALSO..prices at store are a lot higher than online.
I’m baffled with customer service and disappointed with my $8000 purchase. Yes I received some of my items but after waiting a month, I learn that my sofa was not part of the delivery and it looks as if I have to wait another month to revive this item. To make matters worse, they hauled away my new mattress that I never asked them to take in the first place. I don’t blame the delivery company as it was somehow noted in the paperwork that I requested a pick up when in fact I did not. Why would I let go of a new mattress that I just paid $1000 for? And now they are staring they can’t bring this item back to me at all! That makes no sense. They basically stole from me. We are so disappointed and are baffled with the customer service. All this happened today, 7/1/20. The delivery was at 10:00am and nothing is resolved. Only thing they offer is for me to drive over and pick up my mattress at the end of the day and wait another month for my missing items. I live 40 miles away and don’t have a truck. Talk about an inconvenience. Buyers beware. The items were nice and my sales rep seemed great but at the end of the day, the company didn’t deliver...literally!
Ashley HomeStore is great but when they came to deliver... we got the shaft. The truck broke down... ok we understand that happens. They got 2 trucks to deliver the rest of the furniture. And they told us we would be getting our bedroom furniture by 6:00 pm. For sure.Then they called and told us we would get the furniture by 7:30 pm. Then they called and told us we would be getting our furniture by 9:10. Then they called us again... GREAT NEWS!!! We are running fast so you will get your furniture by 8:10 pm... WONDERFUL NEWS!!! We waited and waited and waited... 9;30 pm... we called but there is no one to answer... we went to bed... they lie and lie to you. They didn&'t even have the decency to call us and tell us they were not coming. It gets better... they were going to deliver it on Saturday but on Sunday, they have no one to deliver the furniture so we have to wait until TUESDAY. The manager of the store (Willy) called me and told me they were going to reimburse the cost of the delivery. Also, the sales woman did not order our pillow we wanted. Sigh!!!Tuesday comes... they deliver the furniture, but the drawers stick bad. They try to give us a line about how they supposed to stick. But you have to yank on the drawers. Ohhhh we will call a technician to come in. They will call you right away. Another LIE. They never called a technician. If they said that water is blue I would have to check it myself.Ok... so 2 weeks later... no delivery reimbursement. No wall sconces... no shelves. What a total disaster. Now I went back to talk to Willy to get my delivery money back... It is 3 days later... no Willy... no refund... lies and lies and lies and lies. They will tell you anything to get that sale. AVOID Ashley Furniture!!! It should be called LiE TO YOUR FACE Furniture.Update: they did finally bring someone out to fix the sticky drawers. They work much better now. We had to hound them to have someone come out... but at least they did come out. Guess what... we went somewhere else to buy more furniture because we will never go through that again!

Saturday, June 20, was my first visit to the store. It is beautiful! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. i went with my daughter who was purchasing a recliner for her husband for Father's Day. They had previously bought the matching couch and love seat that was delivered that afternoon. Larry Ross helped her with her order. While we were there, i found a chair for my husband, and ordered it. I also took pictures of recliners for my friends, who are needing new chairs.The manager was very helpful too.
We were looking for furniture for our new house and were lucky enough to work with Doug. He was wonderful!!! He allowed us to browse the inventory on our own and then checked in at random times. We found a beautiful dining table and living room set! Overall it was a great experience!

I recieved my bed set last weekend & i am super happy with it!!! From the customer service down to the delivery I was pleased! Lionel was such a great help I told him what I was looking for, the price range and size i didnt have anything in mind specific to what I wanted I just gave him and idea & he ran with it & got me a super beyond great deal! Lionel was super professional very explanatory, attentive, & super analytical to my financial budget. I was originally going to a different furniture store was a bit hesitant to go to Ashley's but man!! Was I glad I went here. He kept me up to date on my purchase, the store had forgotten to put my address correctly for delivery I gave him a call & he fixed it within a matter of minutes, he worked with the delivery date I wanted, & was super kind threw the whole experience. Anyone going here trust me I would highly recommend Lionel for help, his customer service made my experience that much better, really kind professional man great face to represent the company shout out to Ahsleys Furniture in Visalia Ca for hiring such great representatives!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Doug! We told him what we were looking for, my fiancé and I need furniture for our new home. Doug said he would check on us again and pointed us on the right direction. We started browsing around and there was a lot of beautiful furniture. Doug came and checked on us, asked us if we needed anything and would check on us again. We continued to browse. We finally came upon a couch set we loved and tv stand. Doug greeted us again and we sat while Doug answered all of our questions, made us feel comfortable (his fun stories & jokes) and at ease. Also, Nick came by and offered his assistance and gave us a gift card for our future visit! It's really going to help us out and we appreciate!! Doug offered us an amazing deal we couldn't pass up! On Sunday May 24th, my family and I went to this store in Visalia CA for the first time and we were greeted by an employee named Ashley. She was very professional and helpful during our visit. Unfortunately, we were told different information from multiple people about the price on what we wanted so we were unable to purchase anything but in the future we look forward to going back and making a purchase with the help of Ashley, we really appreciate her. I ordered an entire bedroom set for my sons room. I was promised partial delivery within a week and full delivery within 2 weeks. I did not as of yet, receive any of the furniture, and all of my calls to the store are going unreturned . I spoke to a manager yesterday who stated after they processed my order it changed to backordered, and I could ge looking at another month wait. Then he promised to send me comparable furniture I could faster. He never did and never returned my call.
I purchase a 14 piece package to furnish my entire living room. I was told my delivery would be about 2 weeks out. I received my furniture but the incorrect coffee table and end tables. I called my sales man but they were closed due to Covid 19. When they finally opened after a month I was told to come in and show them which coffee table we purchased. My husband and I went in to show them and we were told that coffee table set isn’t part of the 14 piece set. It’s $1300 alone. The manager says pay an additional $300 and you can have it. I told him we aren’t able to put more money towards it since we exhausted our living room budget. And we shouldn’t pay since that was part of the 14 piece deal. It still had the sign on it when I showed them what chose. I was told it was an new girls error and they don’t want to get anyone in trouble. So they gave us the table that they delivered and told us we could sell it on social media so we did. I was told we would get a new set of tables that we had to choose on May 27th. I called my salesman On May 27th letting him We never received a delivery confirmation. He said he gave the info to the manager and since he (salesman) wasn’t in he would call the manager and have him call me. Today is May 28th. No phone call and not table set. As a matter of fact, I also called CS yesterday and still waiting on a call back from them as well. We desire our original table set that we picked out initially as it’s not the customers fault that someone at the store mis priced their furniture. If I could give them 0 starts I would. 1 star is too flattering.
Bought a Queen Size Bedroom Set & Mattress with the Help of Martin and couldn’t be Happier! Originally went in on Memorial Day to get a good deal but wasn’t satisfied with our Sales Rep. “ Doug” (Very Rude and Pushy) so we decided to go back the next day hoping we’d get someone better to help us and sure enough Martin was Great!!! We will be going back to buy a Sectional / Living Room set in a Couple of months, he will Definitely be our guy! Full heartedly Recommend him, he is the reason we will be going back.
I purchased 2 sofas at the Ashley Furniture Store in Visalia on 2/24/20. They told me they would be delivered 4/8/20. I received a text message on 4/4/20 to inform me that it would be delayed until 4/15/20. On 4/14/20 I called to find out what time it would be delivered and there was a recording that said it would not be delivered until 5/15/20. I was very disappointed that they did not communicate that to me personally. After hearing the recording, I called to talk to a person and had to wait 30 minutes on the phone before they answered. The rep told me to take a screen shot of the text message and send to her. (I can’t believe they did not have a record of that). She said she would email the store to find out and I would hear back no later than 3 days. On 4/18/20, after not hearing from anyone, I called again and talked to a different rep. She said she did not know why they had not called me back and that she would email them again. I asked to cancel my order and she said she could not help me and that I would have to wait until the store called me. I asked to speak to a manager and she said there was not one I could talk to. I asked her what my options were and she said I had to wait for the store to call me. I understand during this COVID crisis that the store is not open. But I can’t believe nobody is getting messages or that you can’t talk to anyone. This is ridiculous and I want my money back. My next step is to call my credit card company and see if I can dispute the charges. This is the worst customer service I have had from any store!

The customer service in Visalia is the worst. I got this couch from Ashley and when I received it it had stains all over it from mildew. They said they wouldn't give me a new one because I already signed for it even though they had all the pictures with the spots and stains, they said they would repair it and the never did, they continue to make appointments with me but never come. They need better customer service because all their workers are so rude. They definitely lost a customer

Irena had to clock out and left us in the very capable hands that is Valerie. Valerie was very accommodating and friendly and went through all of our needs thoroughly. She found many solutions to help us get the best out of our purchase. The manage (so sorry, I didnt catch his name) was very generous by giving us our small items free along with our purchase and he also applied free shipping for us! Very happy with the service I recieved and would definitely recommend.

Luis was extremely friendly! I liked that he assisted me without pressuring me for sale. He truly cared about what I was searching for and regarded all my opinions. I ended up purchasing a rug but will definitely be back to purchase a recliner.
Bad warranty, product damages with simple damp cloth wipe down, service tech showed up late. We bought 17 items from them and within a month the kitchen table was damaged and today we were told it's not covered. I will not purchase from here again and do not recommend anyone. We were happy with our purchases until their "good" warranty that they bragged about didn't cover what we needed fix.

If I could put 0 stars, I would. As soon as we walked in, side eyes and dirty looks are our welcome to this store. So unprofessional. Aside from that, we just want to look around the mattresses and see what we like but instead we’re followed by a worker bugging to sell. Very uncomfortable. Next time, will definitely be going to Mor which is right down the street and have never failed to make us feel at home.
Very predatory. Lady with glasses and shorter straight, dark hair at mattress entrance made a face when we walked in like as if we didn’t have money to buy or be looking around. As much as I tried to shake the salesman off and look on our own they wouldn’t stop bugging. Definitely an unpleasant experience the few minutes we were in there

Awful customer service I bought furniture over $3000 worth five years ago I was told if I bought the warranty that I could have it refunded if I never use the warranty I went in today because I spend my five years guess what they won’t do it they said it had to be a credit so that I spend more money there I don’t want to spend more money there I have my furniture I was told it was money that’s why I bought the warranty because it seem like a good deal to be able to have the warranty and if you never use it then you get your money back well then I’ll stand behind their work they only want to issue a store credit so you can spend more money bad customer relations

I don&'t even know where to begin. Just stay away. Far, far away. That&'s my advice. I bought thousands of dollars worth of furniture from them when I lived in Phoenix. Had a few hiccups but was overly satisfied. However, the Visalia store is just awful. Corporate office does nothing for you but refer you back to the local store and they never do what they tell you they will. They put you on eternal hold and then just hang up on you. First they shipped the wrong item, which was damaged anyway. It took two weeks to deliver it. Some yahoo&'s showed up at 5 on a Friday and commenced to trying to unbox and assemble my wrong furniture in the street. (I was told it would be already assembled and inspected before it arrived; to avoid this situation.) I rejected the delivery and sent it back. They didn&'t like that. No one ever apologized, to this day. I placed a dozen calls to corporate and the store and never got anywhere as to when I would get a replacement. So, I called my bank and disputed the transaction. Then, a week later, out of the blue, they called and said they could deliver it in three weeks. No thanks! They also left a mess in front of my house, tiny bits of styrofoam all over the street and in my yard. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Delivery driver and helper are sub-contracted and damaged our wall and trim when delivering our couch and love seat. They did not have a clue about proper ways to bring the furniture in and set it up! I would not trust them with a wheelbarrow! They are not to be found and Ashley’s is giving us the runaround! Furniture appears nice and undamaged but my house suffered with this transaction! Stay far away with this furniture dealer! !

All calls to Ashley stores regarding customer service, Warranties, extend warranties, delivery, and service calls go&'s through a call wait recording noting your call will answer in in the order it was received with no approximate wait time. Great sales on Black Friday! We had a bad encounter with a salesman but the team made sure the rest of our transaction went smoothly! I&'m one very happy girl!
Worst experience ever. Our things were not delivered the day they said they would deliver it. Told us they would call us on a certain day and never did, we had to go to the store. When they finally brought our things, half my bed was missing, mirror was broken and they told us it was broken and left it there and didn&'t do anything about it. They broke some things in our apartment when they were bringing our furniture in and didn&'t do anything about it. They still haven&'t brought the other half of my bed or my mirror. And still haven&'t called us back. Never buying from this store again.
The sales representative that helped us was named Rachelle. She was so awesome and helpful. She answered all of our questions, concerns, and went over every option available to us. This is not our first positive experience with Ashleys. Their protection plan is awesome as well. We have had to use it in the past and it was no hassle at all. I highly recommend the Ashleys Furniture located in Visalia, California!

Needed a few new pieces of furniture and seen that Ashley furniture had a long term pay no interest sale going on so I checked the Ashley outlet in Visalia.I found what I wanted but didn&'t purchase that day. I didn&'t want buyers remorse. Especially because of some of the negative comments I seen on yelp. When I did purchase I found that it would take a couple of weeks to get my pieces. So many negative complaints about late deliveries or damaged furniture. Well today I received all my items and on time. We inspected all and the guys set it up. So right now I am a happy customer. From the help in the store to the delivery. So unless something falls apart I&'m giving 4 stars.P S the furniture isn&'t hi end but I didn&'t pay hi end prices. it is decent furniture and fits my needsAlso Ashley sales ppl will some times not give you the full price until your ready to pay. So ask ahead about delivery cost ect.
I had a very Awful experience at Ashley's furniture. I went there the beginning of November to purchase furniture for my new home. I spent almost 7k on furniture that was promised to be delivered by nov 29 and was never delivered. I didn't receive any notice and status of my furniture. I had to call Ashley furniture in visalia to get status and they didn't know what was going on. Then I called the Warehouse they also didn't seem to know the status of my order. Then I called the delivery driver and he said that he had an over load of furniture and was unable to fit my order and that he notified the warehouse and Ashley's furniture in visalia. I went down to the store and told them what happened all the did was waive my $250 delivery fee and gave me $100 Ashley gift card. They rescheduled me for the following week on a Wednesday. Wednesday came around and delivery only brought my sofa, my order was a 22 piece order. I asked the driver were is the rest of my order and the Ashley furniture promised to deliver all my furniture today. This is all I have for today. I told him to take it back and if i didn't deliver my furniture by the end of today I would want a full refund. I also called the store and they didn't seem to want to help me and I was placed on hold for 40 minutes. After that long I hung up. An hour later a service member called me and asked if i did in fact decline to accept delivery of sofa and I told her that I did. I also told her that I wanted all my furniture delivered by the end of the day. It's been well over a month they had me waiting. I finally went down last night dec 4th at 8:30 pm to get my 7k refund. I missed work for 2 days for the arrival of my furniture and that wasn't taken into consideration. This has been beyond an inconvenience and this furniture company is unreliable, mediocre and unprofessional. This is the worst experience ever!!!!

everything went well until we found out we were not getting our bench 3 months from the day we ordered it. They failed to notify us until I called to ask why we had not received our furniture piece. Then they said they would try to get it but never did and he had to keep calling to ask what was going to happen. At the end we get the response of "do what you have to do we wont have it until Jan 2020" never going to this store again.
Delivery people I rate a 5 star. Ashley furniture and Ashley furniture dispatch horrible, I would rate dispatch a negative 5 and Ashley the store I would rate the same. Unprofessional, they won't answer you or Your question and will hang up on you when they don't have an answer. I ordered over $9,000 USD in furniture and everything except a few pieces came damaged. My $2,500 sectional dirty and damaged, my $2,000 table, cracked and damaged, and my $600.00 floor mirror came in cracked. When I called dispatch and when delivery driver called dispatch they said furniture will take two weeks to get. I told them "how about you and your family sit And eat off the floor for two weeks or more" Ridiculous! DONT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR HARD EARNED DOLLAR. SHOP SMALL TOWN BUSINESSES. They will treat you better. Corporate companies DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR HARD EARNED DOLLAR, and once they have your $9,000 you spent with them, good luck getting it back!
Very long story, a little shorter... an exceptionally mediocre experience. Was promised a lovely love seat and sofa. Delivery was booked 2 weeks out, which was totally fine because it gave us time to remove our old furniture and shampoo the carpets. On the day of delivery, we were delivered the incorrect pieces of furniture and the delivery service took the pieces back. I will note that the men who delivered the furniture were very kind and helpful. We went back to the store to get the order corrected and we were told we had to wait 24-48 hours for the furniture to make it back to the warehouse before they could reorder and reschedule. Then they proceeded to tell us that delivery was booked out for the rest of the week. After demanding something needed to be done to correct their error, we were promised delivery by the end of the week and a waived delivery fee. This was a satisfactory effort made by the customer service representative. In conclusion, if you purchase furniture here, I highly recommend that you verify the order and DO NOT trust the salesperson with your order if you need an on time and successful furniture purchase. They just require more effort made on the customer success end of their business.

Be careful when you order here they will lie to you about what you'll receive in your order. I ordered a 14 piece set which the sales rep claimed came with a rug. He had me walk around the store and choose the rug I wanted, I did. When my order was delivered I did not receive the rug so I called them and told them. I was told by customer service that my rug will be shipped to me via ups. 3 weeks have passed and I still haven’t received it. I called them back and they told me I’d have to go to the store and speak to the manager about this to see if there was anything they could do about it *eyeroll* why wasn’t I told this 3 weeks ago??!. I blame the sales rep that sold me my bedroom set for this whole mess. Never shopping here again

I went to this store to buy a recliner. BIG MISTAKE! The staff ignored me completely.....well not quite; I asked a question of someone passing who said she would ask the manager and promptly disappeared. Happily I found SOFA AND OAK LIQUIDATORS. The sales person was both knowledgeable and polite, qualities Ashley staff lack, and was delighted to help me. He even provided the information I needed over the phone without 'asking the manager.' I was happy to purchase where I was respected and treated well . I certainly will never visit Ashley again

There 3rd party delivery systems blows I have bought off them because of one person there a lil old lady named Mari she is kind polite you will love here voice. They do have nice things and decent prices but there 3rd party delivery systems is not at all friendly or helpful they dont give a #$%# about you. They will change dates they will only deliver when they want to. It just dont make sense...#hey ashley you would probably last longer if you got rid of your 3rd party delivery systems

Ashley's Furniture failed to call me to reschedule my delivery. I called the store and the manager was unable to get to my call. Now my item is pushed back to another 2 weeks. So you're telling me that I paid cash, was suppose to receive my item on 8/30 but for some odd reason I didn't. Then rescheduled to 9/4 but again was unable to do that and no one calls me to reschedule now I have to get my items until 9/18. I had to go into the store to fix my own delivery. The sales manager there really needs a professional development training or just a human interaction training. She tries to act like she is doing us as customers a favor by purchasing things when in reality that's not the case at all.
Easy, convenient... only issue is computer says warehouse has the item in stock and ready to deliver, then 3 weeks later and 3 seperate deliveries... we will finally have our complete sectional. Now, time to see how our mattress will be shipped, hopefully on time and as entered for delivery

My experience at the store was great. The sales man was amazing in helping us pick out our dinning table. Now let's talk about the delivery. Well that is probably the worst thing about Ashley's furniture and actually some of their customer service representatives. I got a text message on a Tuesday stating that if I confirmed I would get my items on Friday. I confirmed I even called to double check that everything was running smoothly. The day before the lady stated that I should be getting another call in the morning, which I never did. As I am waiting on that Friday for my delivery no one shows. I called and was told it was my fault that my items didn't come in because I didn't confirm (I have all the texts saved that I received. ) for the inconvenience the only thing the manager at the Visalia store could do was give me $50 gift card because she was having people come set up my dinning table. Oh, okay. Whatever? So now we are onto the next week. I'm schedule to receive my dinning table between the hours of 10:30-2;30 it states it's on its way. I am so happy I am finally getting my table. Turns out that my table is another city. Another city that is literally 5 hours away! Tell me how this is ok? Family and friends have told me how bad their services was but didn't believe it until now. If I would've known. I wouldn't have purchased anything from here! Now angrily waiting for them to reschedule my delivery date that will probably be messed up again. Thank you for messing up every time.
We had a pretty good experience this Labor Day weekend. We originally went in Sunday evening and Richard was quick to greet us and guided us back toward the youth furniture. (We were looking for a new bed for our growing preschooler. ) He was really patient with us, as we had looked at several other places that day and needed time to compare options, prices, etc. We went back again Monday as Ashley's had the best deals for what we wanted. I took awhile to make my final decision, but Richard wasn't at all pushy or rushing us. He gave us time to make our decision and just made the buying process smoother than what we had anticipated. He was so personable and genuine! I will definitely be frequenting this Ashley's for future furniture purchases.
Terrible experience overall.We were helped Marie Rebelo. She appeared to be on the older side so we were hoping she had more wisdom, experience and efficiency as this was the first time we were buying furniture in person and not electronically.We were very patient and kind to multiple things she did that we didn't like. First off, she was following us around the entire store really trying to sell everything instead of just giving us the space and time to look. Keep in mind that we were here with our two kids under the age of 18 months old looking for furniture as quickly as we could since we knew exactly what we wanted. Secondly, we explained to her what items we were interested in and what we wanted but she was showing us some things that were not in the category of our interest and things we told her that we definitely don't want at this time. Thirdly, she did not have a measuring tape with her; I feel like that's furniture store sales rep 101. We ultimately did find what we liked; however, did not have the time to buy the items that day because we had to rush home since our babies were exhausted. We scheduled an appointment with her for the next day to purchase the sofas, dining table and the other items. We called her to let her know what time we would be coming in. We got there about 5 minutes earlier than the time of our appointment. She was with another client so we gave her time instead of going to another sales representative. We let her know we were there. She told us it would only be a couple more minutes. Half and hour later and with our kids starting to get squirmy, we told her sorry we would just like to check out with another sales representative so we can go home sooner than later. She again told us to give her just five more minutes which again turned into another 45 minutes!!! I went up to her several times by this point and I had to nurse my youngest in my hot car outside in 107 degrees weather with the air conditioning on of course. Once she was finally with us, she was giving us a different price with calculation for the dining table than what it was originally, it took another 30 minutes to figure out the numbers. Honestly, if you're going to be a sales representative, you have to get your numbers right. When we were finally checking out, at this point exhausted and two crying babies later, it took her a ridiculous amount of time to check us out. She promised to change the carpet from under the dining table to the one we wanted for no price change (originally $50 price difference but we were buying more than $4k worth of items), however, she did not follow through with that. The manager did ultimately honor a $150 discount on our final price due to our long wait which we were thankful for. She entered the wrong dining set color initially and luckily we caught it so she changed it in the system. additionally a higher price was entered for one of our items which took another manager to approve and fix. After all this was done on 8/11/19, our items were supposed to be delivered 8/27/19, and most of our items were delivered. However, 1 dining set and 2 placemats were not delivered. When I called to see when they would be arriving, the manager told be the best they can do is October 12!!!!!! That's 2 months from the order date. Just ridiculous. I don't know why those items were "back ordered" and if they were "back ordered" our sales representative should have told us about it. Additionally, the manager was extremely rude, cold, and had a grim facial expression throughout the store experience and was straight bitter over the phone, she suggested we can come in and grab any floor dining set and placemats on the "floor" which we found ridiculous as we obviously wanted new items since we paid for them! She was also very condescending to Marie, and to think, Marie was probably twice her age or more. Zero respect. Setting poor examples as a manager. I wouldn't go here again unless it was my only option and I would lower my expectations as much as possible.
Went in there today. There were employees sitting on the sofas, beds & dressers having what appeared to be a meeting. Another employee laying on a sofa looking at his cellphone. At least 12 employees that we could count and not one other person shopping. So strange.
I went to look for a bedroom set. The salesperson Chris was very helpful and friendly. In the other hand the store manager was rude and does not know how to talk or explain things to their customers. She wants to make people feel like their little kids. I'm extremely disappointed
This has been the most painful experience of any purchase I have made. I could not order from the store, I had to order online but could not because I had a different shipping and billing address but was not given that as a reason my order was not accepted until I called and got transferred around for an Hour and A half, To customer service to the store back to customer service online support etc. Finally i was told the accounting department need to resolve the website issue, then bam I got the order scheduled email, then no showed for the delivery, I called back was told the order was on hold, transferred around again, was told accounting need to be involved but I could not contact them they would have to contact me, 2 days later I got a call, CC declined, I said it was accepted at the time of the order, she said no only when the shipment was scheduled, not true I said because I had the previous issue and I received an alert from Amex, she admitted it happens again at shipment and since it was declined she put it on hold, I told her I wanted to use my newly approved Ashley credit card and she said she could not accept a new card, AAARRRGGGG!!!! I get an email that my order was canceled, thanks for the 5 weeks of frustration Ashley!!! I would post a negative star but cant! Since I have to post a star......Sorry this was not the Visalia store this was an online purchase.
Shopping here has been one of the most fun and best experiences I’ve had in a while the Sales advisor Nick was absolutely incredible he gave me space and was very patient in my 4 day shopping experience. He followed up with every question I had I sent him pictures of certain room designs and he did everything he could do to get it as close to that as possible. He gave me a great deal, and was possibly the most honest salesman I’ve ever worked with. He was very professional. I can’t say the same about the ladies behind the counter customer service both ladies were very rude and did not have patience or professionalism. However only because of Nick will I shop there again. Highly recommended to ask for Nick when shopping here.

The furniture is poor quality and the customer service is even worse. I have purchased a lot of furniture from this store. I always buy on sale because I know the furniture is not long-lasting. I will never buy from them again though. I had a terrible time getting help finding a mattress for my son while in the store. As a matter of fact, I had to go on the website to find one. Then when I needed assistance because they did not fit my son's bed, I have received nothing but a run around. Crappy customer service means they'll never get my business again.

we went to Ashley Home Store because we saw the big 1/2 off sale and we wanted to find something. We walked in and the staff respected our space. When we were ready Adrian and Aliyah were ready to help. They explained all the details of the delivery and when payments were due. Adrian was able to keep his composure even though he was moving from computer to computer to get it done. IT issues I guess. Anyway once everything was done Adrian went as far as to explain the details about receiving our furniture of what to do. This was very helpful. I would strongly recommend Ashley Furniture for needs

Dealt with some very nice employees that were happy to sell me a bookshelf. Long story short, it's two months later and I still have no bookshelf. The last time I was there I explained that I would like my money back or the bookshelf delivered. Asiah promised she would get it to me. I explained that if I was going to have to return to this store again, my smile and attitude would be different, and not in a good way. I'm tired of having a dining room table covered in books and I'm tired of this store telling me lies. If you don't have a bookshelf for me, why did you take my money? Bought beautiful canvas painting on clearance was able to take home but every other item I was interested in purchasing was not available for onsite purchase. Ashley has to order and then charge for delivery....even small wall decor and small vases I wanted to buy. Not a good way to make sales.

Upon walking into this store the furniture immediately meets you - it’s like BLAM! Furniture - whew! Nicely decorated - slightly cluttered in my opinion - but it’s nice. My partner and I walked from the front of the store to the back, to the corner - to the front... and I must say - we received no greeting - no “Hi! Do you need any help?”- nothing - there was this woman - older- shorter - caucasian with glasses- we exchanged eye contact and smirks but she gave me that look as if - “why are they in my store” type of look. I’m like Lady! I make enough money to pay for you to pay attention to your job- don’t do that. But neeedless to say she walked past us and asked another customer for help. About 25 minutes later - here comes this pleasant individual - named SEAN. Nice smile- small build- also wearing glasses- very very very polite. And it appears he was thee only African American man working there. Ha! This must be to fulfill there equal opportunity quota in the workplace ( rolls eyes ) anyway I feel as if they called him from the back somewhere and asked him to assist us as if they can’t talk to us themselves - what a coincidence - he’s an AA male and we are AA people. *AA=African American Sean I want you to know - you are the only reason this place got 2 stars. Otherwise if I could they would have received a negative 10. This is an Ashley’s Furniture Store and with that title I expect better customer service- your personal views and or beliefs is not what you’re getting paid for. Keep that home! Ashely furniture has the worst customer service. When we walked in nobody gave us the time or day. I asked two associates who works here they both look at eachother liked they didnt know. Then the guy said him and a lady, they both work there. . Not one of the two offered to help they both offered each other up. . The lady then proceeded ask what we needed. We let her know . . She wasnt much help. . She left us to look around on our own. We looked for a bit then walk out. . On the way out the lady who was supposed to be helping us asked if we found what were looking for. . i said no, where going some where else. . Never been treated ao badly. The store is very clean and comfortable! I could literally walk around there for hours because everything is so nice and pretty! Our salesman Luis Camacho did a great job showing the products and explaining the sales Ashley had to offer. I will definitely be back to buy more furniture for our new house!
We had a wonderful woman help us she wasn’t pushy and gave us a good deal. Oak Liquidators was more expensive and the didn’t want to give us any deal plus you have to bring it home yourself.

This was the first time I visited an Ashley Furniture Homestore. As I walked in i was greeted by Aliyah. She was really helpful and patient. It seemed as she really knew her product and enjoyed her job. She was helpful enough she persuaded my mom buy a really nice sectional. The store and sales managers were really nice and understanding. Sandra from customer service was nice enough to give us chocolate and a gift card for our next purchase. It was a great first time being at Ashley's, the employees were really kind and helpful.

Horrible experience online. The website freezes or the tabs are unresponsive. Very annoying. Today I opened the homepage but when I clicked on links within the page, it said the webpage is unresponsive. You need new IT people.

I had a very special circumstance, I left the hospital and went to the store at 8:30 p.m. My 82 year old mother had fallen and broke her arm. She was coming home the next day and I was desperate to get a recliner for her to sleep in. When the manager heard about the situation, she let me buy the floor model. I am so thankful. My mom slept comfortably in the new recliner.

I'm not sure what I think of this store, its been two weeks and I've still not got my furniture. They text me on a Sunday for delivery and because I didn't see it until 5:30 they say they will have to reschedule the furniture.I wish I had known this before.

Bought couch there 2 years ago. Have a warranty on couch. Couch sinks in where you sit. A person that weighs 130 lbs sit in these spots. Warranty does not cover it. Don't buy furniture there! Couches in the past have latest 10 years. Bad Workmanship!
I came in looking for a couch . The sales manager Leanne Gregory and her sales associate Cassie were sooo wonderful , helpful and nice ! Absolutely terrible! I would never purchase another furniture piece from this location again. I purchased a dining table and when speaking with the salesman, he “guaranteed” it would be delivered to my home in 2 days. On the day my dining was supposed to be delivered, I received a message asking me to contact Ashly’s to set up my delivery! I then tried to contact the store the ENTIRE day to find out what happened and their “customer service” was absolutely disgusting and not one bit helpful. She stated their was nothing she could do on her part and stated I needed to speak to a manager. When asked to speak to a manager she said their was high call volume and didn’t have a way to connect me to someone who could help. 5 days later and I am yet to have my furniture delivered.
We were looking for new living room furniture when we went to Ashley. We were helped by a very nice young lady name Valrey Hernandez. She helped us from start to finish and we got some real nice stuff for a great price. Thank you Valery for all your help and great patience you had dealing with us.
OMGosgh! Everyone was sooo friendly and helpful! There was absolutely no pressure to buy. After Eddie walked around with me and answered all my questions l asked to walk around by myself and he showed where he would be if I had any more questions. The furniture is great quality at great prices! I bought a comfy mattress and an adjustable base, a beautiful sofa and love seat at an unbelievably low price. #happyme
First of all, the gentleman call at least an hour or more earlier that the timetable that was given to me. I was thrilled. When they arrived they got to work outside getting rid of the packing material. I showed them where the chest of Drawers went in each room and they quickly put them where I showed them. They left after I signed for the furniture. I couldn’t be more pleased.

We were helped by a couple of amazing guys. Alex & Richard. They went above and beyond for my daughter Betty. Richard actually picked up end tables and moved other furniture around just to make sure her furniture would be just the way she wanted it. And just when they thought it was over my daughter started second guessing the table and chairs. Neither of them had an issue looking for and comparing things to what she had already picked out. For Richard to be with the company such a short time I was very impressed with how informational he was and his willingness to do whatever it took to make my daughter happy. I will definitely be buying furniture from here again when the occasion arises. Thank you for a pleasant experience.
We went in on March 17th and had a most difficult time getting things ordered. We were not able to get what we wanted because they were out of stock. We had to go to 6 or 7 different terminals and had to do two different transactions. Everything needed manager approval. Why didn’t the manager just do the transactions then? This took over two hours. We purchased pillows that were first, going to be taken that day, then shipped that week, then were going to be there a month later, and now we were told it was going to be another month. Should shopping for furniture be this unorganized, confusing, difficult, and require this much understanding from the customer? Probably going to looking for a “Mor” simple approach next time.

Honestly this place is shit. They take FOREVER to ship. It literally took over a month to get most of the items from my $5,000 purchase I made with them. The sales team is garbage. They'll lie and lure you in when there are other fees and wait dates that they don't mention. . . . . all in all. . . I won't give these people another dollar. They're very unorganized and don't value a true costumer.

Bad service....I didn't get what I ordered! I got a wrong backboard of my bed..Even though we have warranty on mattress they still didn't help us ..my mattress sinks in bad so uncomfortable and it's new! Was looking for a new mattress secondary to back pain so I went to Ashley’s and bought a Tempur-Pedic. The mattress is too hard and gives me terrible body ach. Call them and it turns out you have to wait 30 days to exchange, there is no return once it’s in your home, you have to pay a 250 dollar restock fee, and you must purchase a mattress similar to price or more expensive. However none of these things were said to me in the time of purchase. Really seems like they don’t care about there customers to me and only care about their commission. Really wish I had gone to mattress firm instead.
Was in there for a good half an hour, totally ready to get a brand new double recliner set, but we were ignored! They stared us but never greeted us, never asked us what we were looking for, or anything! Did they think we were some cheap folks?! . . . well, we technically are, but at that moment, we wanted brand new recliners and they treated us like crap! Will be visiting Mors tomorrow, since I've read most of the reviews say go there.
Went to Ashley Furniture store to look at furniture and end up purchasing a sectional set from Charles the salesman here in Visalia. He was great salesman wasn't pushy and got us the best deal Thank you Charles. I recommend this place ask for Charles.
Store is nice, and their service people are kind and thoughtful, but their warehouse drops the ball in so many ways. Product was delivered damaged, it took a month of phone calls, emails, and store visits to get the product redelivered. Then it was delivered incomplete. I still don't have legs for the couch. I would not return.
An office mate of mine had a horrible experience . Would never buy anything from them . They are worse than car salesmen. All they want is their commission! They don't care about the customer . They will tell anything you want to hear to get a sale .
5 stars for Larry Ross. Awesome sale representative for Ashley’s here in Visalia, CA. Friendly, down to earth, and honest. He was very easy to talk to. Not once did I felt pressured. Right from the start he made our concern his number one priority listened to our requests and questions, and answered them to the best of his ability. He clearly understood our point of view, budget and specific need for a mattress all at once. His customer service experience is what led to us making the decision into purchasing the mattress we did. I am more than satisfied and secure about my decision regarding the purchase of my mattress due to his help.
Didn’t care for the service we walked in and were not greeted or asked if we had questions or needed help. We walked around the place for almost a half hour while associates were walking around and also assisting other customers. A first impression is big with me and I won’t be spending more time or any money here since they decided to ask up if we needed help right when we were walking out.
I actually am changing my review . The sales part of Ashley is great. It's when the furniture arrived that I had a real problem. I actually had to contact corporate. I will include pictures of what they consider minor damages. If my order is made right and I receive my bedroom set Not damaged . New the way it was advertised and sold to me I will change my review so far 11 days since delivery I have not heard a word on when my furniture will arrive . I waited patiently for 3 weeks then it came damaged. I will include pictures you be the judge if you consider it minor. I am still waiting to see if anyone will contact me to make it right . I did actually get a date today 2/11/19 they are going to give me the dresser with mirror and nightstand. The bed frame they said they will replace next . The Visalia store is trying to make it right . I will give a great review once it's all fixed correctly. I want to be completely honest .
Horrible customer service let alone there corporate office, who still never called me back about the sales women who was in the middle of sale with for $900. 00 and just left to the break room to sit and talk with her friends and of course has the cell phone shakes. I will never recommend that store or ever go there again. The sad part is they lost out on over $4,500 worth of furniture I bought for my new house hope there employees are worth that.
Staff was nice but furniture feels cheap for the high price. Previous set of "leather" couches we bought from them lasted about a year before the "leather" started deteriorating. All in all staff was great but furniture left A Lot to be desired.

My review is not on this store in particular but the delivery/warranty side of things. For the last 6m I've struggled to have an item I ordered delivered, then it was delivered damaged and they sent someone to repair it, the repair did not hold up and they offered an exchange. 2 times the corporate side scheduled delivery for an exchange and neither times did they show up even when I confirmed two days before. The 3rd item they were supposed to be here 3-7pm and didn't show up until nearly 8. I let them do the exchange and inspected the item and all seemed well. Then they left and I noticed wires hanging down under my table - an extreme hazard with 3 young kids. These wires were not here on the item they took, I called and they didn't seem concerned or in a rush to get a tech out, told me I'd have to wait 5-9 days for a tech. This is a liability and they don't care one bit about the safety of my family. Buyer beware of this company!

I went into Visalia Ashley Furniture Homestore to buy my granddaughter her bedroom set . The customer service was outstanding! Deborah Blum helped me . What really made me happy was Glen (he is a manager) came over and made sure I got exactly what I was looking for and the price was unbeatable!! Glen and Deborah were the best at customer service and knowledge of the store. I am sure that store has many great salesmen and women. The cleanliness of the store was outstanding. I will shop all my future furniture items from that store . Thank you Glen and thank you Deborah.

in February 2015 i bought 2 queen bed sets & mattress sets. In 2016 1 set collapsed & it was replaced after i made a big to do. 2 days ago, the bed collapsed AGAIN! I'm talking no repairable. Warrenty is only 3 years 0 Stars
