it took one month to receive my furniture, then there was a missing rug and it took an additional month to receive it. No happy about their service!

Ordered a sofa set and rug in March and received our sofas at the end of April. Upon delivery found a small hole in the sofas. Showed the delivery guy and he took pictures, said that he would notify the store and someone would contact me to repair. I had to follow-up a week later with the store. The customer rep indicated I should have not accepted the sofas and he could not do anything about it. I asked him to provide me the number to Customer Care. Customer Care said that they would send me the material and when I received from UPS to call back and schedule a tech to come out and repair. I finally received the material and scheduled a tech to come out (this was another nightmare!)...however, the tech came out and the wrong piece was sent to us so he couldn't repair and that he would request the correct piece and AGAIN, call when I've received to schedule a tech to come out to repair. As we're going through all this I'm still waiting for the rug we ordered with the Sofas (following up on rug and receive ANOTHER deliver date of 06/01/15). Called 3X to follow-up on the 06/01/15 deliver date of our rug and all I get is let us look into it and we'll give you a call back. FINALLY today, I call to follow-up on the 06/01/15 deliver date and I received an answer that the UPS shows I received the rug and I'm claiming that I've never received it so NOW the rug is on BACK ORDER AGAIN and it looks like I'll receive in September. WOW!!!! How can I recommend Ashley' Furniture?? They have decent furniture and it's saddens me that a customer should have to wait 6 months for 3 pieces to be complete. **CUSTOMER SERVICE is inexperienced and will not follow through with your inquiry**

Disclaimer: I have not yet set up my credit card online payments and so I cannot attest to the service / quality of the online monthly payment 0% APR feature of my large purchase. Regarding my purchasing experience, it was amazing. The salesman "Long" was just a fantastic person, so helpful and very customer centered. Highly recommended store.

Terrible experience. I paid taxes on my purchase in cash and placed the purchase cost on my Ashley card to take advantage of the 18-month tax free promotion. After everything was signed and I walked out the store with the receipt, etc. Got a call from the sales representative hours later telling me that I did not pay the taxes and to come back to the store to pay them. I was shocked! I counted the money in the wallet and it looked $55 less than it was earlier in the day. He kept insisting that the front payment desk did not take my money. It was just a ridiculous conversation and I told him I will do no such thing because of some screw up on their end. To add to that experience, it has been over a month and I am still waiting for a painting to be delivered. Thank goodness I had bought some of their manager special items, which I hauled away myself. The only thing that required delivery was one painting. Main customer service referred to the Ashley store and the Ashley store (West Covina) keeps referring me back to Ashley main office. This is the last time I will buy anything from Ashley Furniture.

Victor and Kitty were helpful. Delivery was one hour later than the time frame given. But the overall experience is satisfactory. My delivery was on Sunday. One suggestion is to give the store clerk access to the location of the delivery truck so the store can tell the customer where the truck is and how much longer the truck will come because I called and the store clerk has no idea where the truck is.

NEGATIVE STAR IF POSSIBLE!!! Horrible customer service - furniture was not delivered on date promised. When called they had no answer or reason why, promised to return a call and never did. A month later go to the store and canceled my stuffs that was not deliver. They didn't return my sales tax that I have to paid when purchase. This idea of paying for the tax first and fiance with ashley credit card is a scam. DO NOT paid for the tax with your own credit card or cash. They already included on the fiance card. That's what the manager told me when I canceled my order and refused return the tax to my credit card, because they paid for the tax with my own credit card. DO NOT BUY FROM ashley!!!!!!!

Yeah I hate this place and here's why!!! DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! THEY GAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I'm usually understanding about things being backed order but we had a gift given to us order in JULY suppose to be delivered today!! And it didn't!! Then we call & ask why and they give us another lame excuse and say earliest they can deliver is NOVEMBER!!! You have to be kidding me!!!! All they could say I can refund you!! No sorry nothing!!! I would give a ZERO but I can't!! I have never rated a company so low!!

make sure you buy something they have it in warehouse, DO NOT buy anything "back order", you will wait forever. They have delayed my delivery date twice, and cannot guarantee the third one. the customer service said: i really cannot do anything about it. the worst shopping experience.

I should have read the reviews before shopping at this unprofessional company. My parents purchased me a bedrron set for my 21st birthday in November since my birthday is in December. They said that the only delay was the bed that it would arrive Dec 30 but that I may take everything else since it is available . I declined the offer since I mainly wanted the bed so I decided to wait more than a month for my bedroom to come all at once . Yet ONE day before a lady calls me and has the ordasity to say the footboard broke along the way and the next one available would not be until Jan 17 . I was already mad that I waited more than 30 days now 18 more . I called to schedule a delivery and a gentleman named Brian as he so called claimed was extremely rude and provided terrible customer service . They need to retrain or rehire these miserable and worthless associates. Especially the ones answering the phones . If it weren't for the people calling buying this expensive furniture this store and these people would all be out of luck. So next time a customer calls with a question this company better sound concerned before taking thousands of dollars from thier pocket ! You Brian run on our time not the other way around . I assure you my friends and family will never come to this place ! I give it a couple more years and your location will no longer be here in West Covina.

Matt from Ashley HomeStore in West Covina is awsome! He was the only salesman who helped me out. I guess i didn't look like a serious buyer to the rest of the salesman, ( 29 year old chicano with hat flipped backwards wearing dickies, black shirt, and steel toed boots). Like the young guy who just pointed me to the back of the store where the area rugs were, that seemed like he wanted nothing to do with me. But not my man Matt. He was so helpful to me. He wasn't pushy or fake. He really made me feel like i was talking to a friend. Anyway, about a half hour later, with Matts help i purchased a $999.99 dining room set and a $299.00 area rug. That poor young dude lost out on a good sale. Thanks again Matt, for taking me as a serious buyer and being good to my girl the whole time we were in your store.
