I would give zero stars if i couldFirst offThe people are awesome when you're buying from them but when you need more assistance with your orders they pretend like they don't even know who you are The quality of the couch i purchased is ridiculous, cheap, and not comfortable and it took 8 weeks to get delivered I understand covid is going on but that's besides the pointI would never shop here again in my life and i hope everyone reading this takes my advice, they're scam artists I tried cancelling a product a few days after purchasing and understandably enough they couldn't cancel it and i was promised a $100 gift card to the store by the liar salesman FERRIS which i never received but that's fine because I'll never step foot in this store again, very disappointed
We ordered a full living room set, and a full bedroom set including a mattress. This was almost three months ago we just had our delivery last night. Even being two months late, items were missing. Once they sell you something they&'re done. You never hear from the store or your salesperson ever again. Customer service is awful. The poor delivery guys were way overbooked and arrived at 7pm (our delivery window was 1230-1630). There were here until 9pm and still had another delivery! It&'s a shame that they&'re one of the only places in town... but we won&'t buy from them again.
If I could do negative starts I would. Horrible horrible customer service and experience! DO NOT purchase here. They were not upfront about having a no return or exchange policy. Ferris (store manager) ran to the back of the store and hid when they saw my husband and I walking into the store to discuss the 8-10 wait time for delivery. We were left with the Customer Service girl. So rude. Horrible wait times and lack of being able to reach management. Buyer beware!
Worst experience ever. Buyer be wary. I bought a queen sized mattress from them, was even talked into buyer the extra warranty from the salesman and the store did not honor it. The mattress delivery was awful to start with. Within the first few weeks the mattress sagged worse then my 8 year old mattress!! That mattress was replaced quickly but the replacement was even worse! Ashley Furniture REFUSED to replace it - even though I had the extra warranty on it. REFUSED to give me my money back. They had no interest in making me happy. I&'ve gotten such neck, back and hip pain from all the lumps and sags from this mattress. Shame on them for taking advantage of people and not honoring the original warranty let alone the extra warranty purchased. I Would NEVER buy from them again. Just awful all the way around.
AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! Avoid at all costs, no matter how good a deal you get! Purchased a sofa in May, was told 4-6 weeks for delivery when in reality it took 10 weeks. Called management and was told we already got a good deal and they don&'t guarantee delivery date, despite being guaranteed 6 weeks tops. Day of delivery was told 11-3pm window so I called at 2:30 to find out the status and was told drivers would be there in 30 mins. Never happened. Call back at 3:45pm and was told they were stuck at another house with issues. Great but why no communication? It&'s 5pm and I&'m still waiting. Do yourself a favor and purchase anything at different place and follow the advice of reviews.
Was promised a 2-3 week delivery. 4 weeks later and I still have to wait another week. I would absolutely not have bought this furniture if I knew from the get go how long it would take. They sold me on a false delivery date without an apology from the store. Moreover I had to call week after week to get updates. It&'s the worst furniture buying experience I&'ve ever had.
I came here on a major furniture shopping spree (I moved from a studio to a one bedroom and was lacking on an amazing amount of furniture...I only had a mattress so you can only imagine). I liked some of the furniture offered and was truly in love with a lot of the lighting fixtures. I was looking to purchase a few items from the store if it weren&'t for literally being stalked by one of the salespeople. I don&'t remember her name but holy crap...I thought car dealerships were bad with the stalking! She was watching every step I took and would stand just far enough to hear me say &"this is nice&" and proceed to tell me numerous times that everything is on sale. She was extremely pushy and I felt so uncomfortable being followed (to the point where it made me feel like I was going to steal something. Like I can carry a bed out of a store without being noticed...okay). So yes, the store has some great pieces but it was the stalking that made me walk right out the door and I never looked back.
Do not enter the store. If you find some furniture you like you have 3 days to decide on it. I got it extended by a week as I liked the furniture but needed to measure it to see if it would fit into my bedroom. So I never took delivery and the salesperson Farris in the Norwalk, CT store would hound me and my girlfriend to tell me that the furniture would fit. It would fit but you could not walk in the room and the bed had draws coming out from the foot of the bed versus the side which was the problem. I even called the store to make sure the salesperson was correct that I got an extension to make my decision to buy furniture, cancel it or add more. They said yes.The store is looking for a restocking fee even though Farris told me it would take a month to month and half for furniture delivery. Ashley sister company Synchrony Bank even sent me a bill for initial payment on furniture I did not have. I wanted the furniture protection removed because after 5 years you get your money back. You do not you get a store credit and have to go to Ashley to buy something else to use. This company is corrupt and treats the consumer poorly, always a big discount which is meaningless, extremely poor service and angling to screw the customer.
Ashley&'s is a fraud company. The customer service is one of the worst service I have encountered. The sofa went bad within one year. I am in contact with the customer service since last 4 months, they promise and then they do not deliver. My sofa is still unrepaired. Th customer service keeps on transferring to different people and just delay the repairs. I will not recommend anyone buying anything from Ashleys.
Excellent store and service to do business through. My sales rep was very helpful and offered us tons of incentives and ways to pay. Thankfully my rep was very creative and gave me new ideas that I didn't walk in with. I was able to get everything I needed at once for way less than I expected rather than do my house room by room. Highly recommend this store! Go see them!!!!
