Purchased a mattress from the Norwalk store. Purchased what I thought was to be a good one, paid $2300. Not even a year later the integrity of the mattress broke down. After calling and a having a technician come out using a high tech state of the art tool.... a 6 foot 1x2 board on edge, it was deemed okay. Never knew the science involved other than sitting on it. Entertaining the thought of going to Ashley Furniture for a product will never come to mind. Horrible customer satisfaction.
I like this store. Beautiful selection of furniture -- from casual to a bit fancier. Compared to most other furniture store, they have a vast selection. The store is nice, clean -- they hit the mark with modern, casual to stylish, but also relatively mid-range affordable pricing. Good labor day sale too. You can always find something here compared to higher end, prohibitive priced stores. My partner and I bought couches from here. The staff who worked with us was really nice and professional and helped us to find a flexible financing option. Delivery was slow and did take 3-4 weeks and got delayed. One couch arrived damaged and took another 3-4 weeks to get it replaced. The other issue is that the pillows purchased were on back order and haven't arrived 4 months later, I think the store forgot about them and they are expensive. We have to keep checking back about the pillows. If I have any furniture needs in the future, this is generally a must-go and primary store for me.
Worst experience of my life buying furniture at Ashly I ordered a bedroom set that took them a year to get and when I received my bedroom was not in good shape stress cracks all over. So we changed the bedroom set we received a new one different style that also came with stress cracks all over it I did not expect it so now the department store is getting frustrated with us and telling us they're not going to deliver anymore and they don't want anything to do with us because we're too picky why would anybody except furniture that is cracked please tell me. The store manager told me to accept it and that they will come back and fix it. The worst experience ever now I'm stuck with a bedroom set that's got stress cracks I paid $7,000 for. I am so stressed out that this has been going on for a year and a half back and forth for one bedroom. Ps, the driver even said the store did not like us as consumers why? Because you do not accept cracked furniture I thanked him for letting me know. Stay away and save your sanity.

I am so disappointed in my couch purchase from this place. Not only would they even exchange my couch 2 days after it was delivered but after a few months it is wearing like it is 10 years old. No children or pets in my home. I feels like sitting on cardboard. Terrible customer service with the manager.not even deserves the one star
I would give zero stars if i couldFirst offThe people are awesome when you're buying from them but when you need more assistance with your orders they pretend like they don't even know who you are The quality of the couch i purchased is ridiculous, cheap, and not comfortable and it took 8 weeks to get delivered I understand covid is going on but that's besides the pointI would never shop here again in my life and i hope everyone reading this takes my advice, they're scam artists I tried cancelling a product a few days after purchasing and understandably enough they couldn't cancel it and i was promised a $100 gift card to the store by the liar salesman FERRIS which i never received but that's fine because I'll never step foot in this store again, very disappointed
My shopping experience at Ashley was fantastic our sales person helped us with anything we needed.My wife and I ordered our couch 3 months ago were told it would be 6 weeks. We still to this day don't have our couch. Their management is rude and hung up on me multiple times. As I read more reviews on here I'm no longer surprised.
We ordered a full living room set, and a full bedroom set including a mattress. This was almost three months ago we just had our delivery last night. Even being two months late, items were missing. Once they sell you something they&'re done. You never hear from the store or your salesperson ever again. Customer service is awful. The poor delivery guys were way overbooked and arrived at 7pm (our delivery window was 1230-1630). There were here until 9pm and still had another delivery! It&'s a shame that they&'re one of the only places in town... but we won&'t buy from them again.

If I could do negative starts I would. Horrible horrible customer service and experience! DO NOT purchase here. They were not upfront about having a no return or exchange policy. Ferris (store manager) ran to the back of the store and hid when they saw my husband and I walking into the store to discuss the 8-10 wait time for delivery. We were left with the Customer Service girl. So rude. Horrible wait times and lack of being able to reach management. Buyer beware!
