This was my son's first purchase for his first apartment. The staff at the Waterbury, CT was very helpful. When we walked in we were greated with friendly smiles. Asked us what we were looking for. A sofa w/ a chaise lounge. They showed us a few then let us browse. Well after walking around a bit, we found the one!!! From start to finish it was a pleasant experience and we couldn't be happier. Definitely will return.

I'm so happy I went in person. I was looking on their website and the price was a little higher than what they had in store. And also in addition to that lower price there was a 10% off on a TV stand that I purchased so I ended up buying the shelf Tower or whatever you call it and I made out like a bandit. The ladies were very helpful. Respectful and gave me the good deal of alerting me of the sales price. Delivery charge is very cheap and is assembled when it gets to you. I do not have any pictures right now but as soon as I get them I will do another review. Thank you so much.

I waited nearly a month for my mattress from Ashley’s, hoping for comfort and a good night’s sleep. Instead, I ended up with more back pain than before. When I called customer service, I was told there’s nothing they can do—no solutions, no returns, no help. All I wanted was rest, and instead, I feel ignored and stuck with a product that doesn’t work for me. Extremely disappointed.

We came in to find a new couch, and there was a great selection of options. Jeannine asked us what we were looking for in a couch and walked us through a couple of different options for the different arrangements for the couch we were looking at. We mentioned we had cats, and Jeannine introduced us to the perfect sized couch that's made of a scratch-proof material called Nuvella — it's like leather but doesn't have the same sticky feeling a leather couch would have. It was comfortable, and the material was perfect since we have cats that like scratching the couch! She was really helpful, and took the time to understand what we were looking for.

Went to see Daniel at Ashley furniture outlet and he assisted me in picking out the best leather loveseat for my needs. Great price, excellent service! Would definitely return to this store for other furniture. They had a great selection of everything.

Our experience here was amazing! We walked in just to take a look around and ended up getting a mattress demonstration from Sej that was out of this world! So much so that we ended up purchasing it. Sej showed us exactly what zero gravity meant and we are so grateful. What a great experience! The sales manager (Jeramy) approached us and introduced himself when we arrived, but didn’t hover and stalk us. (I hate that). He was there when we had questions but I didn’t feel any pressure at all. Very knowledgeable about the products. ( I was looking for a mattress and he asked me all sorts of questions to determine the right fit for me). The store itself was clean and the layout was purposeful and beautifully designed. Wish I could give this place minis stars They don't deserve a single star after the horrible customer service I went in the store in November and found exactly what I was looking for and refuse to sell me what I wanted just wanted to play bait and switch and try to get me to settle for less for twice the price. I wanted the McClelland oversized recliner but they refused to sell it to me without the purchase of a sectional couch But on December 17th they sold it to someone else separately without making them purchase a sectional couch When I've been trying to purchase it separately every week for a month first I feel bullied, cheated and discriminated against .

We got a 5 piece set and the sales rep said we would get a item and we never received said item turns out they didnt add item but claim it's a 5 year warranty which we were told 5 year was included and when we tried to call to resolve got completely treated like no bodies this place is a disgrace when it takes 3 weeks and still can't reach them

UPDATE!!! Ashley called and set up a delivery date and then called back 3 days later and said sorry, no sofa! After over 1 month i went directly to Ashley outlet. First off my buddy Jeremy refused a refund. Then after looking closer at my documents, There was a a post it note stating NO Purchase Order! It was never ordered and they still did not want to give me a refund. The only one telling me the truth was Nicole in customer service who told me she has no idea when it may arrive. 45 minutes later and having to be "That Person" i got my refund. I went a mile down the road to RF and got my sofa in 3 days Where do I start? Alfonso lied about delivery and when I called Jeremy didn't want to address my concerns and hung up on me. I was a loyal Ashley customer before I moved to Connecticut, but this is not the first time I have had issues. Ashley in Connecticut is not company owned, it is a franchise and they lie and scheme to get your $$$.

Absolute scam. They don't call back or resolve customer service issues. Will tell you anything to get your money.

My fiance and I purchased a couch 9/2 and were told we would get a call in 2 weeks regarding scheduling the delivery for the 3rd week after purchasing. This was perfect as we were expecting a baby due in October and wanted to have the new couch before he was here so we would not have strangers in the house bringing germs in while we have a newborn. I never received a call and I had to call to inquire about the delivery. The couch was delayed and they said I would receive a call at the end of that week, and again no one called so I had to call. This happened 4 times where I was promised a call back and I had to end up calling. Finally my couch was delayed to 11/5. My fiance and I contacted the manager, al fonzo, and he stated we could either have a $200 credit for the miscommunications and delay, or pick a new couch that was in stock. We accepted the credit after talking about it and my fiance called the manager to tell him we would accept it, and al fonzo said this was actually coming out of his pocket which is very weird he would make a deal with customers with his own money, then he told us to come on 10/19. The couch ended up coming 10/11, despite being told there was a delay to November due to the fabric taking long to manufacture because of the war. We had our child and now had to have strangers in our home while our baby has no immune system which was frustrating for us. We went on the 19th to use the $200 credit and al fonzo stated that was only if the couch came in November, and he was able to expedite the couch for us. My fiance asked why he told us to come in October if the credit was only for the couch coming in November then and al fonzo said he didn’t have to answer him and started walking away. There was some back and forth and al fonzo, the manager, told my fiance he doesn’t control delivery dates (which he just stated he was the one to get the couch expedited), told my fiance he was extorting him and the store for money, threatened to call the police on him, and pretty much kicked him out. We were planning on purchasing some night stands and a dresser and now will be going to a completely different company for the way we were treated throughout this process. The manager and customer service representative said the right stuff to get us to purchase the couch and we were lied to and ignored after spending a lot of money, not receiving 4 phone calls back as promised, being lied to regarding the delivery time, and the manager going back on his promise. We contacted the vp, who stated he would call us back, and he has not either. We left a voicemail and are still waiting for a response. Everyone from upper management all the way to the customer service representatives are poorly trained and made this process frustrating, and we will not be coming back to Ashley furniture ever.

I was planning on just looking at their selection of beds at the new Waterbury location at the Brass Mill mall. We were greeted by Jeramy who pointed us in the right direction and then explained all the different options. Jeramy was super nice and very knowledgeable of the different products. I visited the Waterbury branch to see if they had a particular item that I wanted. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by a pleasant young man. He offered to assist me, however I told him I was just looking. He told me that he was available should I see something that I am interested in. My intention was not to make a decision that day, I was going to check other stores and online before purchase. This young man was so helpful and accommodating without being overbearing. He was very professional, patient and respectful. I left the store procuring more than what I had planned for.

Went in looking for a couch and dining set for our new apartment, wide variety and selection! Jeramy was amazing! If we had any questions, we asked and he answered, then left us to keep looking around. He explained everything, didn’t try to get us to buy more expensive things or more in general, simply helped us get what we wanted for as low as he could! We’ll be back for future furniture!!

Wow! What a day!!! The amazing Ashley store manager Alfonso and wonderful sales associate Dee made dreams come true!!! We came to look at dining room tables and chairs and fell in love with a beautiful set. As this was our first big furniture purchase, we were a bit unsure of what to do. Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Very disappointed with how I was treated by this franchise. Sales rep Jeramy lied about my delivery date so he could make commission on the sale. Months later, the GM, Alfonso refused to issue me a refund when I cancelled my order. I ended up having to hire a lawyer to tell corporate he had to issue my refund, and I drove 35 minutes for Alfonso to be unprepared and tell me he was missing the info for my refund to be processed, despite being aware I was coming down that day. Do not waste any of your time or hard earned money shopping here. They do not care about their customers.

Dee is amazing and helped us pick the right dining set we were looking for. The store manager is also very helpful. Would recommend the store!

Run, don’t walk away. I went to the store in Waterbury and selected a specific dining room table. When they came to deliver it, it was the wrong table! When I called, the Customer Service Manager said that the salesperson wrote the wrong code. Instead of making it right, they told me that I had to pay a 25% ($250) re-stocking fee! The Sales Manager would not even speak with me. He made the Customer Service Manager tell me. Everyone makes mistakes. It is the way that they are handled that matter. They should be ashamed of the poor way they treat their customers. I don’t see them being in business much longer. If you value your time, your money and your sanity, you will shop for furniture elsewhere.

Al was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the product. He worked with us and did not pressure us into any decisions.

Buyer Beware. I had a bad experience with John. He never told me that I would be a synchrony bank for credit. I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy furniture. When he asked me, I said no. He then crinked the paper work in his hands. He started getting loud with me. I wen to the desk as he continued using. They didn't nothing to help the situation. I called them to ask for manager and they wouldn't let me speak. I asked for corporate office and they said they don't have one. I called their customer service and they called them and nothing happened. Poor management and employees that work their..I went somewhere else with 100 percent customer service. I have told and will continue to tell friends, family, friends not to shop there.

Honestly this is my second time ordering from Ashely’s furniture and I should’ve learned the first time. We placed an order in May and were assured the delivery would be ordered within a week and they would also remove and move our current furniture to either the lawn to be picked up or another room. NOPEEE. They also didn’t call us ahead of time for us to be aware of the drop off and we asked and also called the management they were rude and wouldn’t move the furniture or give us time to remove it. DON’T SHOP HERE!!!

Edit: The store manager and sales representative who sold me the furniture are no longer employed here. The pricing terms I was advised of had certain terms and now those were not correct and I am being charged interest I was advised I would not be. I have been working with Alfonso, who was available and utilized all the resources he could, however he was only able to do so much in his power as he was not there at the time of purchase. Unfortunately I have to edit my review to show the change in my experience.

Update: I was told my delivery would be a week.. day before I had to call for Gm to tell me it’ll ANOTHER week after I was ASSURED 1 week… & paid for the delivery fee on the date of 1 week from purchase… I was then told my the GM I’d get a store credit of $200 because they can’t refund delivery fees so he was willing to compensate me in that way.. that was 4/2 he asked me to come in and pick it up.. being that I live 30 away I preferred email but I took the drive anyways get there he was gone & gc wasn’t there .. was told it’ll be emailed low and behold I never received it I’ve been calling for 2 days and Everytime I call there is an excuse as to why the GM is away… just HORRIBLE communication on the GMs part HORRIBLE management skills leaving his reps to give me answers on things they can’t control… Alfonso has been great still in keeping in contact. I came in this store with a bad experience from another furniture store and they were aware of that I was hoping it wouldn’t be the same outcome but now it turns out it was worse ! Mind you I paid for my ENTIRE ORDER that day no credit no finance none of that ! There’s no reason I should be having this experience. Alfonso greeted me upon entry & was very helpful ! Beginning to end.. Noel the GM then closed out the deal with a nice price for me.. I came from another store and was really disappointed but I left a satisfied customer

Do not go here for your furniture needs unless you enjoyed being lied to. I ordered a couch and tv stand here back in February. The pieces I ordered were picked specifically because I was told by their staff they were "In stock". I still haven't received my furniture because apparently it was on back order. I finally get a call to set up my delivery and the girl tells me "You have to pick a date today or repay for delivery". So I wasn't able to pick a date that works for me without paying double the fee. Nothing but liars and cons, go anywhere else. EDIT: I wish i could give 0 stars. I called the store today to discuss my issue, and Noelle was awful. He raised his voice at me when I kept mentioning his employees lied, whether it was knowingly or not, about products being in stock. He never once apologized for any inconvenience. The only solution he offered was to reschedule the delivery, which I explained I could not do because of my work schedule. He then told me he has no way to help me, and when I told him I wanted to cancel the order, he tried charging me a 25% restocking fee. I refuse to pay for the employees incompetence. Terrible

What a great experience! We have been looking for 2 years for recliners. We decided to just go in and look. Well we wound up buying our 2 power recliners for an amazing price. The sales manager Chris was incredible! We went in just wanting to look and he respected our space, no high pressure. When we were ready for questions, he came right over. He was patient, kind, honest, and knowledgeable. We are so pleased!

This place is AMAZING! I was on my way to Bob’s Furniture store when i drove by this new Waterbury location by chance. I was greeted warmly and genuinely by Sales Rep John. He didn’t give off any sketchy sales men vibes. He listened to what i was looking for, and gave realistic recommendations. He kept my budget in mind and even suggested i come back and not impulse purchases without my partner present. We came back as a family and John introduced use to General Manager Noel who was so personable. John and Noel both made this shopping experience so enjoyable. I was very nervous walking in not knowing what i wanted, and in the end i walked out with a FULL living room and dining room set. The pieces are better than i ever could imagine and the prices are INCREDIBLE! I can’t believe i can afford to such gorgeous upscale pieces like these. I cant wait for delivery!!

He made sure we stayed in budget and got everything we wanted. Chris and Alice both stayed overtime just to help us complete our purchase they made this process less stressful and we left with happy faces. Initially, I had a lovely experience. I am a first time sectional/sofa buyer and was just looking to see what I liked & didn’t like. I ended up walking out with a new sectional to be delivered. Personal experience to follow…. I went to show a family member the couch on the website and realized that the price online is cheaper than the sign in the store - be aware of this. They will price match, although you must bring this up. I did not know this at the time of purchase. Also be aware of the five year protection plan & how it is an additional cost for the kit on the side. I was informed the kit was part of the five year plan - it was an additional $60 cost. I personally do not see myself using the supplies in this kit - if you will, it may be worth the $60. Delivery from buying in store is more than online. My online price was $11 more expensive than my in store price - this is with no sale going on. The only difference from the online and in person purchase is did not get the $60 kit online. In store I was told I was getting a store discount and an additional military discount. Once I compared the online final price and my in store final price, this came out to be about $70 - which on paper they made it seem like $200. Ultimately, I feel a bit silly for not be more aware of this sales environment & questioning the prices of things. I hope someone can learn from my frustration.

The male “manager” (Noel) was the most arrogant person I’ve ever dealt with while trying to make a purchase. Prior to our purchase we were told delivery was 4 days. After we’ve completed our purchase we were then told it’d be two to three weeks before it can be delivered. We asked to be refunded and shockingly it would be two weeks before we got our money back. The manager just told us there is nothing he can do, shrugged his shoulders and walked away to the back room with a bag of food. If I were a manger I would’ve showed other options to see how I can accommodate a customer who is buying (or already bought) from my store rather than scurry to the break room to eat my lunch. Luckily for this store, the female manager (Alice) came and did just that. She was helpful and gave me my options and ended up walking away with my furniture as planned. Additionally the two young ladies behind the desk were very nice and accommodating as well. If it weren’t for them I’d give 1 star and walk away without purchasing anything.

Update The manager spoke to us about a store credit due to purchasing mattress and base- we never received - We inquired about this and they keep saying it had to be a separate invoice due to back order- Fast forward we had to argue to get a mattress cover and pillow - The main manager indicated that someone mess up our invoice and we can only get partial and purchase the other pillow. We advised to not take there word for anything and get proof of things they claims is store credit.
