How To Find Us & When To Visit
There are some pieces of furniture that you really do need to try before you buy. Mattresses and sectionals, for instance, are best tested in person. Here are directions to our showroom so you can do just that.
Our street address is 3 Gerald Ct, Delmare, DE 19940. Our phone number is (302) 846-9191. We are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
We’re on the east side of Delmar, just north of the Delaware/Maryland border. You’ll find us between the Autozone and Furniture Land on Sussex Highway.
If you’re traveling from the south, you’ll turn right directly off of Sussex. If you get to the Napa Auto Parts store, you’ve gone too far.
If you’re traveling to us from the north, it’s a little trickier. After you see us (on your left), you’ll come to a traffic light (it’s right on the Delaware/Maryland state line!). Make a U-turn at the light, and then drive north until you can turn right into our parking lot.
If U-turns aren’t your thing, go through the traffic light on the state line, then turn left onto Road 68. Take Road to 68 and then turn left onto Thornton Rd. After your turn, take the first right onto Gerald Ct (it goes between the Autozone and Mr. Tire). Gerald Ct will take you straight to our parking lot!

Can’t say enough good things from our experience with Ashley. From Michael M being on the sales floor, giving us the space we needed to think and browse but also be available for all my questions, giving our crazy toddler boys balloons and also quickly changing our order when we changed our minds via quick email responses while also giving us the BEST price… to our delivery men Trey + Rich who came right on time and quickly and efficiently put together our furniture! We bought a “Rise-Up” lounge chair from Ashley Furniture and we are very happy with this purchase. Initially, the shopping experience was great. I bought a sofa with a decent price. However, the delivery took more than a month. If the sales person at the store had told me that, I won't purchase the sofa or I might choose to pick it up at the store rather than paying extra money and waiting for more than a month.

Great customer service. We have purchased twice from this location. Once during the pandemic when everything was very delayed they kept us informed and shipped us as things were received usually they only ship everything at once. We didn’t have to pay extra. The second time was during their Black Friday event still going on at the time of this post and we received everything within ten days.

Just bought a nice table and chairs. I made sure to tell the salesman I worried about having everything level. He assured me it would be. I got it on the 23rd and since my kitchen had to be fixed, we didn't use the table and chairs until Wed. Well two chairs are unbalanced. So I called and the lady told me to take it to the warehouse and they could fix it. I paid to have it delivered and I had surgery and my strength is just not there. I can't even lift the chairs and I need to have them picked up and brought back. Guess I will be calling back and see what I can do.

I was greeted by some very friendly staff at Ashley Furniture. They were not pushy at all and they gave me my space while looking around for a dining room table set. Also, while in the store, I received an extra 5% off of my purchase due to being chosen for a golden ticket. This furniture store has good, quality furniture at great prices. I will be shopping with them again. I purchased the black and gray counter height dining room set, I have yet to see the gray in it. It looks more dark brown to me and that's what I love about it. The color is amazing and it's an eye catcher. I've been getting a lot of reviews about it from my family.

I was not told that I would need to "ASSEMBLE" the chairs if I picked them up from distribution center nor was I offered a fee to install them. Hannah's manager never called me back about the sofa, Love seat and chair clearance set that I could of purchased. I checked with millsboro store and they could find them but not offer me the clearance price. I doubt I will ever buy anything else from Ashley stores

Ok guy but big on misinformation I had a hard time at the Ashley in millsboro I went to Delmar to retrieve credit the bed was a different feel from what I had so it was working 100 days down the road the beds comfort level is trash call in to do a comfort exchange was told I could do it then because of the mattress I have it can’t be done $1200 down the drain DONT SHOP AT ASHLEY’S FURNITURE FOR A MATTRESS !

Michael was my sales associate at the Ashley Store in Delmar. He was very patient, knowledgeable and helpful. I didn't have a specific purchase in mind. He let me cruise the displays, answered my questions and looked up options for me to look at. When I found an end table I liked he even checked to see if they had another one like it in their sister stores. Then he personally loaded my purchase in my truck when I decided to take it with me. They had a large inventory of living room and dining room furniture for me to choose from and Michael was knowledgeable about their products without being pushy and was a pleasure to shop with!

We came into Ashley Furniture close to closing time during a horrendous rainstorm. . Antoine greeted us with a smile at the door. He was so pleasant and easy to talk to. He took his time, found out what we were looking for, and even brought up some choices online for us to view. Antoine didn’t rush us. Saleswoman Melissa was terrific - friendly, smart, and reasonable. She spent time with us even though it got busy with other customers. For the amount of money you spend on furniture however the company DOES NOT have free delivery OR free take away. YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR DELIVERY AND TO CART AWAY YOUR OLD FURNITURE. So the advertising was misleading. So the response was that they do offer free delivery. Yet I was charged $200 for delivery. I even questioned it during check out. I was told it was not free delivery. So, they are not sure what they offer.

We ended up not buying from here, but the staff was super friendly, took the time to show us some inventory, wven gave us a quote to take with us. They didn't have a style of bunk bed that worked for our family, but we'll definitely go back if we need furniture in the future.
I had such a great experience at this Ashley Home Store! I was so lucky to be assisted with my furniture selection by Antoine Jones , Product Specialist. I had 2 bedrooms, a living room and a dining area to furnish. It was very overwhelming to select furniture for all this space, but Antoine was extremely patient, informative, and organized with keeping track of my selections , as well as choices I wasn't sure of . I worked with him for 2 days! Not once did he ever give me the impression that he was getting impatient , or that I was wearing him thin. He and his colleagues went as far as moving furniture to show me pieces that might work well together, and searching Ashley's inventory to help me find the perfect match! I finally completed my order, and put 4 rooms together all with Ashley furniture ..which I love ! I don't think I could have done it without Antoine Jones...not in 2 days that's for sure! When I arrived at the Ashley Furniture store, the gentlemen Patrick greeted my family and I and he was very polite. However, I was quite disappointed with the manager who would not honor the advertised sale price of the chair because each store is independent. The Ashley furniture store is always my first stop when I am looking for furniture. Antoine helped me when I was looking for a living room chair. Antoine is wonderful, he asked me a couple of questions and immediately started showing me chairs that fit. The process was easy the manager, Paige, and the customer service desk were super helpful. I did check out other stores, but I said Ashley is my FIRST stop. Ashley is My LAST stop.

We went into Ashley just browsing to see if there were any good Black Friday sales on sectionals. We were greeted pretty quickly by Antoine. He was able to give us information about sales and promotions and sent us on our way to check out the options. I’m not real into the whole pushy, salesperson personality. That being said, Antoine was not that! He was friendly and helpful but not obnoxious and pushy. I didn’t feel like I needed to sneak out if I didn’t see what I wanted. He checked in with us but I had to get some measurements due to our room size, so we left briefly and came back. He was able to show me some other options for sizing issues. I still needed to wait for my husband’s approval so I wasn’t to blame if it didn’t fit the room as expected, so I told him I would be back before 7. He was great offering to get me set up in the system so my next visit was streamlined. After we confirmed everything was good to go, I came back a 3rd time and finalized the purchase. Antoine was very great to work with and I would definitely recommend Ashley based on selection, quality and prices!

At first visit very pleasing bought a recliner, let Warren know we needed a mattress, he showed us a mattress and priced it all ready to buy. Warren came back said did not have a California King. Told him if he could make it happen for same price. Talked to him next day or so and my husband told him what we wanted if he could do the same 30% off. A beauty rest C - class. Warren called that week said he got one. I went to the store after work with cash. He advised it was less when I got there. Paid for the mattress and when given the receipt I read it and it said B - class much cheaper one did not want that one. That mattress elsewhere was $2300. and some change he charged me 2700. and some change. It was not what I wanted he continued to argue with me. Plain and simple he lied to me and if he could not make it right I did not want it. Manager was useless on customer service. He got nasty and said he did not want my sale because I called him a liar which he was ripping me off and knew it. Yes I was upset and nasty because we told him what we wanted the night before and I wasted my time going there and he was trying to convince me otherwise. Manager was useless in resolving the issue. So got my money back and found a L class for $3120.00 which I bought. Your company just lost a $3000.00 sale because he was to arrogant and the manger did not even attempt to work with me. He knew I had $3000.00 cash in my pocket. Could of said can't do the C class for that but the L class he could ,In reality $3599.00 where everyone is selling fo less 30% for C class it would be under $3000. Even 30% off 4000. would be under $3000. I will never buy from Ashley again nor will I refer a family member or friend. Thanks for the worst experience ever. If I could leave 0 star I would. Mary Update: I received a call from the Senior store sales manager Heather apologizing for the incident in the Delmar store and seeing how she could win my business back and if she could help me with my mattress. I told her I already bought one from Mattress Warehouse who went out of there way above and beyond to help me, even gave me free mattress protector and free pillows. But I did appreciate that I was acknowledged and wanted to right a wrong on behalf of her team. Even though I may have been a little upset and should of contained myself I was rightfully justified and as long as Warren and that floor manger is still there I could not revisit there establishment. Maybe in the future when my wounds are not so fresh. So with that being said not all there staff are bad apples, the store was beautiful and had gorgeous furniture the checkout girls were great. Thank you to Heather for reaching out and I do appreciate her looking out for her store and the customers. Up the stars from 1 to 3 because they acknowledged the incident. Can't give them a 5 because of the incident.

My husband and me have spent several thousands of dollars at Ashley and always had a wonderful experience however recently I went to exchange a chair (I had chosen the wrong color) While there I picked out about 8000.00 dollars worth of furniture. The salesman I was working with had to leave on an emergency and I was turned over to a sales lady who was more interested in HOW I was going to pay for the items than anything else. The icing on the cake is when I asked her to give me a grand total and I would take that, along with the pics I took of the items and present this to my husband for his input, after all he was paying for everything, and I would call the next day to finalize everything. WELL, she didn’t like that, I overheard her on the phone telling the first salesman, “No ALL she is doing is exchanging the chair.” Mind you the chair was pushing $1000.00 and she acted like that WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH. She made herself scarce after that. I felt like after ALL the monies I had spent there in the past year I should have been a valued customer, instead I felt the sales woman thought I was beneath her and because I wasn’t purchasing the BIG TICKET items RIGHT THEN I wasn’t worth her time!!! I will not be back to Ashley Furniture Store. I will go where my business is welcomed and APPRECIATED!!!

Shopping at Ashley’s was quick and easy. I had an idea of what I wanted but had very little time to invest in making a selection. This was my first time visiting but I had looked at their website prior. Once I walked into the showroom, I knew I was in the right place. They had very modern selections and were very well equipped with staff to answer my every question. This will not be my last purchase! A huge thank you to Andy, our salesman. He was very knowledgeable about the product and if not sure how to answer a question, he asked for help and presented us with the information immediately. My girlfriend and I had recently just visited this store and let me tell you the staff here was just PHENOMENAL! We have an ESA that we travel with and there are ALOT of places that are not so accommodating when it comes to animals, so if anyone out there is in a similar situation do not hesitate to to bring your fur babies with you! When I had first arrived I was greeted by Michelle (who by the way had just started out) but you would NEVER be able to tell. She was nothing but polite, professional, and made sure she did whatever she could to meet our needs. Michelle went above and beyond to exceed our expectations as far as financing options, delivery, as well protective care for our new purchase. She was incredibly patient, and answered every single one of our 1000 questions. We also had other stuff members who helped us along the way as far as design and decision making. We are relocating and this store along witj the staff made it so incredibly easy and painless for all of us. If I could give 10 stars I would, there is nothing but great things to say about this store I could go on for hours. However the door greeter almost wouldn't let you in unless you told him what you wanted.. I would recommend he stay back a little and only ask how he can direct you and not run right up on you. He was extremely, helpful with a nice laidback, customer service like attitude. I explained what I was looking for and Warren took me to the pice of furniture I had in mind. Even though I looked around the store for other options, I ended up, coming back to the item Warren pointed out in the first place. If you are in this store, I recommend that you ask for “Warren”, you won’t be sorry if you do.

Long long story but received a store credit from having the furniture warranty on a item that could not be fixed.. found a chair online for 599.00 credit was for 829.00 was going to get something else also and pay difference. Was told with store credit online price won't be honored chair went to 900.+ got the chair anyway to use credit . Myself and family will be done with this place for life . And anyone else that will listen. The whole furniture warranty pitch is a scam also, has been way over 2 months dealing with that part of it after repeated calls. Will be glad to get chair I ordered and be done with that place

Since I’ve shopped at Ashley’s before, I received a a VIP coupon on select items in the store. We saw a couch we loved on there and decided to go check it out. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by Patric. He asked us if there was anything specific we were looking for and directed us right where we needed to go. My husband and I had many questions of course, and Patrick was very knowledgeable when it came to answering them. I had also wanted to purchase two chairs, bless Patrick’s heart, I took him around that store numerous times looking for the right chair. But there he was just always happy, helping in any way he can. He really made the experience enjoyable.

Zynn did an amazing job finding us what we were looking for. There was not the exact couch in store so she was able to find us what we needed online. She did a great job managing our two young children throughout the visit which can be chaotic to some. We will continue to use her in the future!

The store was nice and Antione was nice but I was truly upset with the lack of communication. Antione made us believe we were getting the 10% sale and additional 5% off that I got. We picked a mattress and he said we were short with getting free shipping. So we went with the next mattress. We got to the counter to pay and only the 5% was on there. When we asked about the 10%, Antione acted like we were crazy and we couldn’t have both, we never were told. I just don’t like being played and that’s what it felt like. Will probably not go there for a mattress!

I am someone who likes to get straight to the point and what I’m looking for. Jessica was very helpful and quick and to the point.
I purchased the table as is. But I was trusting that I would not have been sold broken furniture. After the furniture was delivered we kept trying to figure out why the table was hanging on one side. The side was screwed on. I am thoroughly disappointed and upset because I would have never purchased this item. I’m even more angry because I’m paying for something that’s broken. Lesson learned: NEVER buy AS IS from Ashley’s furniture.

Upon entering the Ashley store we were greeted cordially by Patrick who listened carefully to determine what we were seeking, as well as our style preferences and price considerations for this item. Using his iPad - as these outdoor furniture items were not readily available on the floor at this time - Patrick recommended several items meeting our criteria. While knowledgeable about the Ashley products, he did not hesitate to consult with others to ensure that we received accurate information about construction, pricing, shipping and other pertinent information. Patrick also engaged in interesting and relevant personal conversation with us, building those relationship bridges so important in customer interaction. My husband generally prefers to think things over for several days before making a decision, but that afternoon we returned to the Ashley store to place our order. This was in part due to our belief in the quality and reasonable pricing of the Ashley product, but also influenced by the cordial and knowledgeable attention provided us by Patrick. (Please note that all other salespeople on the floor were equally welcoming and friendly, but Patrick approached initially.) We will continue patronizing Ashley for our home furnishing needs.

I'm just say my experience with Ashley was great at first until they tried to sell me mattress "that they state is there best mattress in the store . Which I understand it may be there best beautyrest mattress in there store which is the LX version. But don't tell me that LX is the highest class of the beautyrest mattress when actuality it's the KX . Then when I do my research as a consumer and find out that the mattress you actually selling me Jessica Drake isn't the best version of the beautyrest mattress and I called you out on it. Instead of going back and forth with me as a customer like I'm not right is a huge problem for me. Shannon your Director of sales needs d to allow learn some customer services skills with the rest of the Ashley team. Worst experience I ever had with a furniture store.

I called Ashley a few days ago looking for a specific sectional. I ended up speaking with Patrick Doxzen and I will say overall hands down I had the best experience possible. Patrick was very polite, professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. I told him my husband and I would be in the market at a later date for a new mattress aswell and he helped us find the perfect one for when we are ready. I never once found Patrick to be pushy. I came into Ashley furniture looking for a small couch. Warren said he’d be happy to help me if I had any questions. After looking through the stores entire selection, I was feeling discouraged and was going to leave. Warren asked me if I found anything, I said no. He asked me what I was looking for specifically when I described to him that I had a narrow stairway and a narrow door, I need a small couch, and there was nothing there that would work for me. sectional sleeper couch that I purchased, and it’s being delivered Saturday.

I walked into the store 15 minutes before closing to purchase a side table. Patrick made the purchase very easy, and showed me a gorgeous sofa/chair/ottoman set that was perfect for my house. I came into Ashley browsing for a new sectional. Warren greeted me right upon entering the store. He showed me each sectional they had available on the floor that matched what I was specifically looking for, let my son and I try them out, and explained all of our available options for financing. I came back Sunday to make my purchase. Warren was not working, however Patrick greeted us and helped us get exactly what we were looking for. He was super helpful with answering any questions I had and made the approval/financing process super quick and easy! He even made sure to explain to us about the “protection plan” for our new furniture. I highly recommend either of these guys when shopping for new furniture!

We purchased a couch and an area rug for our living room and our sales rep Jessica was a great help. She has a fine sense of style and color and helped us put together pieces that compliment each other. She was able to explain the manufacturer warranties, the extended repair plans, and product replacement options in easy to understand language. She is calm and patient and we enjoyed working with her.
My husband and I decided to try Ashley furniture because we have been having issues with that other store. Plus they were having a great promotion. We were pleasantly greeted by Mercedes, who nailed what we wanted very quickly. She is such a likable lady, had a very easy time with everything. We were told at the time that it would be 4 to 12 weeks for delivery and we were very surprised to get the call that our furniture was in and ready for delivery in less than 4 weeks....unlike the almost a year it took to get a lamp at that other place. Delivery day....we were given a 2 hour window and a text 10 minutes before arrival. It was on the earlier side of the window, so Yay! Our delivery guys, Kenny and Carey, were very nice, professional and in not long at all our furniture was in place. Thanks, guys. I am loving my oversize love seat and my husband in his ever a fixture in our home recliner. I think he is happy it is electric. Please note that our cat Sheldon also gives his seal of approval. I ordered my table in January and didn’t get it until June just for it to arrive damaged and wobbly. I understood there would be a wait but with that expectation I expected everything to be quality. The table arrived damaged the chairs are wobbly. $1500 down the drain. I called and the rep told me to take pictures of a table that was ver difficult to put together (damage was by a connector) they charge you to even get the item to you door. The wanted to charge me 249 for set up after the guys convinced me and my partner I would have no problem putting it together. This is the last time I order from them ever. Steer clear. Edit: They replaced my table but and it’s beautiful. Used the review to 4 stars, because the guys were wonderful who set it up but there was some miscommunications when they came back out. My chairs still need to be leveled but I’ll take what I can get.
We purchased a mattress from Ashley and Patrick was our sales person. He was so extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about mattresses. He spent more than an hour with us trying out different ones. We didn't buy initially but we returned ONLY because of this salesman.

We were looking for new furniture to put in our new man cave. Michael greeted us at the door, was very friendly, very knowledgeable about the current Black Friday, promotion and financing options that were available. He printed us the dimensions of the pieces we were looking for so that we could come home and figure out what pieces we needed, and what pieces would fit. When we returned to purchase, it was a very seamless process.
Great experience. We got there after 5pm. Jess greeted us and proceeded to give outstanding customer service. We purchased 2 club chairs and 2 bookcases. We will stop there again.

In 12 years of buying furniture for various real estate investments, this was the best experience yet. We’re familiar with Ashley sales, it’s always a streamline process, but what makes or breaks the experience always comes down to the salesperson. Mercedes was AMAZING. for the first time I didn’t feel like I was “being followed”, she gave me just the right amount space, and she actually listened to what I was interested in. Never once did she try to show me something just because it was on sale or something she felt was the best. Mercedes found exactly what I was looking for and I had an entire new bedroom set in less than an hour (and I had been looking for three weeks!). Thank you so much for the help!

So what started as a bad experience was rectified by the great management working at Ashley! We had some trouble with finding some paperwork from our last purchase but they worked with us and honored it. Now we have happily purchased a new bedroom set for our house. Shout out to former employee Taylor and our current sales person Mercedes in helping us past and present. Also like to say thanks to upper management! We definitely will be back for any future purchases!

At first I was hesitant to leave a review because they can tell you one thing attempting to gain your business, but you never know if they are telling the truth until you get the product. Beginning with Jessica, the sales associate- she was amazing at the store. Maybe too amazing for believability. But she held true to her word on every aspect of the adventure of buying a living room set amidst Covid! The couch we bought is absolutely beautiful and surprisingly easy to clean (also Jessica’s honesty!) with 3 kids, a long haired cat, and a dog! The couch arrived just in time for us to move into our new home (again, Jessica was on point with the details even when I had a minor freak out it would be longer). And then there’s Melissa, the purchasing clerk (she’s who you contact when you have questions after you purchase) was sooo patient and kind and super responsive with every email and every concern. She was so prompt and timely with her responses, I was blown away! I highly, highly recommend seeing Jessica for your home needs and taking her advice! I do not regret anything except not talking my husband into a new bedroom suit! Maybe soon and we will definitely be going back!

An annoying experience. I normally enjoy my trips to Ashley where employees keep a respectful distance yet are there when needed. On this occasion the sales assistant was stalking my daughter and I 3 steps behind us trying to bore us with his knowledge of our home country. I was just there to get a chest of drawers for my daughter - not to get his life story. In the end I had to tell him to leave us alone as his presence was uncomfortable.
My wife and I were pleased with Warrens professionalism. We will continue using his services for our future furniture needs.

We got our dream living room furniture extremely fast and in a profesional matter. Our sales assistant, Joe, was very pleasant the moment we walked into the store. Great experience meeting with Joe to purchase a new bed for my 86 yr old mom. He was knowledgable yet patient demonstrating the features of an adjustable platform with a comfortable mattress with her. Another staff member noted modifications to suit her very small stature. We feel confident this bed will absorb her many aches and pain and support her independence. We so appreciate the extra efforts of the folks at Ashley Furniture to help with what my mom needs at this time.

The store manager, Kalif was fantastic from start to finish. Kalif was friendly, personable, knowledgeable and very informative. He took his time to show me different features of the reclining couch that I was interested in, and encouraged me to feel confident in my selection. My situation selecting a couch was a very difficult one to take on, and when communication fell flat with our original salesperson, he stepped in and put in the work to assist my boyfriend and I. We eventually chose a recliner sofa set we fell in love with. We move into our home in June and now have comfort knowing that we were taken care of and getting a sofa we absolutely LOVE. What was a potentially stressful and uncertain situation for the past 6 months had been resolved within a day, thanks to Kalif.
I actually always used Ashley as my furniture shopping destination. This time I went to shop for a bedroom set. The sales person, Dwayne, was very polite and helpful. I had certain picture in mind and he tried to find items as close as what I wanted. I have just one complaint, however: the bed frame I wanted and at the end was offered was just the one I saw on a different web site. That particular bed did not require a box spring. So I was pretty certain this one would not require it as well. However, as I learned later, making my own research, it, in fact, did require a box spring… the sales person failed to let me know that particular detail and I don’t think as a professional it is ok… plus, it’s another opportunity to make extra commission. My problem came up later, when I was going through the order and I noticed the store employees put in the order incorrect dresser. Also, I noticed a big difference in the prices in the store and online. When I called to address my issues the manager, or at least I believe that’s who he has, named Chris was pretty how to say a little rude to address all my issues. He did apologize for my inconvenience, of course…. But i never heard anyone arguing as much as this guy did! Customer service rocks at that place for sure! I actually tried to put together what I purchased at the store in the online order abs with the spring box on the top my price came up with almost as much as i paid in the store. But he had a different picture in mind… At the end I almost gave up and accept their conditions. I was thinking that for the inconvenience they would drop the price for a spring box… but they didn’t … and when I asked to give me a little larger discount just about extra 10% (or 30 dollars) he refused and was going back and forth arguing… so for 30 bucks they lost over $3000 order and a client… I ended up cancelling my order… and will never go back to this store. Hope it was all worth it, Chris!

I visited the DelMar DE store on Labor Day to begin my search to furnish my newly remodeled (and empty) living room. I found several pieces that I really liked but was not ready to commit as it was the first store I had visited. My original salesperson was helpful and knowledgeable and created a printed quote sheet for the items I was interested in. After leaving a voicemail message for the salesperson later that evening, the next day, and the next (salesperson was there but helping clients), I decided to give it one more shot- It was the salesperson’s day off. I explained to the woman answering the phone what had happened, that the quote was only good for seven days, and that I really needed to speak to someone that actually wanted to complete the sale or I would have to go somewhere else. She could tell, I’m sure, that I was quite frustrated. A salesperson named Mercedes came on the line. She assured me that the quote from Labor Day was in their system and would be honored. She also took the order for the other two pieces I had decided to purchase, convinced me that a warranty was in order and confirmed my information and completed the sale. She was very understanding of my situation, professional, courteous, and presented her company in a very good light. We spoke three times that day as there was information that needed to be checked on and an issue with the daily limit on my debit account (resolved by my bank) and her follow up was excellent. Thanks to Mercedes, my attitude completely changed and instead of the store losing what started as a $2,000.00 transaction they gained one for $4,000.00. If you go to Ashley’s Home Store in DelMar, ask for Mercedes! Can’t wait for my new furniture to arrive!

I was looking for a full size bed for my daughter. She went online and found a bed she like on Ashley's website. We showed Caheim, sales rep. that assisted us, what she wanted. He was able to immediately take us to that exact bed on the floor. She loved it. We needed a box spring and mattress also. My daughter didn't have an exact idea for a mattress but Caheim was very helpful. My daughter tested all the mattresses for comfort for her. Caheim suggested the better quality mattress and that is appreciated. Quality is very importantly to me, in a world I feel quality is not as abundant as it once was. Caheim was very friendly, and I believe very good at as his job. May God bless him.
Our experience with Mercedes has been exceptional! Our team, via The Maryland and Delaware Group and Brandon Brittingham, sought Mercedes’ assistance and expertise to fully furnish a 4 bedroom, 4 bath home, to be used as an Airbnb. Main kicker - this project was also to be completed in a short period of time. We gave Mercedes our decor style - from there, she ran with it and went above and beyond - giving us options, even visuals of how each room would be laid out, guidance, to getting us in-stock furniture for the entire home in that short window of time. The process has been seamless and exceeded our expectations. Mercedes communicated with us throughout the entire process and was always available. She is professional, so helpful, detailed and such a pleasure to work with! Our entire staff has worked with her on multiple projects (from furnishing our office, Airbnb’s, to their personal homes) and we look forward to working with her again in the near future !

This is a follow up to my first review, again go else where, bought my furniture set from them less then two years ago, had two couches lumbar support break, found out its made of particle board, first couch was replaced in less then a year it was covered under manufactory warranty, 2nd couch was fixed by there master craftsman, all he did was replace broken board with 2x4 made of standard material. paid for extended warranty and filed a claim against the furniture, was denied claim reason was that the company they use does not cover broken wood frame. although contract clearly states that this should be covered. spoke with customer service about this they never got back to me about the issue. fast forward two months and my love seat broke in the same area as the couches, emailed customer service about it, no response So in all i spent 2000 for the furniture 350 for the warranty just go else where. Don't waste your money, bought a living room set from them less then 2 years ago (Jan2019), couch had to be replaced once within the first year, a week ago my wife noticed the lumbar support has broken. Spent 2000 on the set, seems all I payed for is poor quality. Go else where

We spent almost $7000..Now after four months we received products like mattresses bed sets and almost every single thing is damaged and very very very very poor quality ….one bed is literally broken and customer service is very bad and almost mean for both furniture land and Ashley …return or exchange policy is very bad even for damaged pieces .we had to call them again and again and it feels like its our bad that we are bothering them… I wish I could return everything but unfortunately I can’t …..you will see one behavior when you are shopping with both (Ashley and furniture land)and another behavior after having any issues with both store’s customer service and showroom people……. never ever want to do business with both of them again and won’t recommend it to anyone.

We shopped another store closer to us trying to keep our money local, it didn't work out between being over charged and not getting our mattress for 3 months (after being told 2-3 weeks). Fortunately they didn't come through and said 1 more month, at that point I canceled the order and got a refund. I say fortunately because we were so happy with Ashley Home store in Delmar and with the honesty of our sales person, Mercedes. We went in and told her we were looking for something that was in stock at their warehouse up the road and what our budget was. Mercedes found something in stock, although there was not the same model on the sales floor. She found us something comparable to try out though. She was very patient with us, nice to our kids who were a bit crazy (1 and 3 year old) and did not pressure us one bit! She was honest that if we ordered the one in the sales floor it could be 3 weeks, but also as long as 12 weeks. She set it up so we could go up to the warehouse and lay on the actual mattress they had in stock and then pay for it at the warehouse if we liked it. Warehouse staff was wonderful and we liked the mattress so away we went. We got the Beauty Rest Harmony Seaton Plush Pillowtop, King. It's not quite the Cadillacs that we laid on in the store, but very comfortable and I would recommend in a heartbeat (especially for the price) after spending two nights on it. Our all foam mattress was shot and my back, neck and shoulder pain I had when waking up from the old mattress is now completely gone! Firm enough and very comfortable for my wife to sleep on her stomach and also good for my side sleeping. Cool than the foam mattress too. Thanks again Mercedes, we were SO pleasantly surprised to come home with the mattress we wanted for $700 less than the one we never got from the other store and on the same day!!! We'll be back for that couch we were looking at.

Was interested in a mattress I had researched on line, did not have it at price seen on line. Found one with similar qualities in my price range, however it was not in stock and would take from 1 to ?? Weeks for pickup. I was fine with that except they wanted to charge my credit card today. I offered to pay on receipt of product but was told that their policy is to pay now. I said goodbye.

I am very pleased with Ashley HomeStore and their customer service. Heather (manager) was awesome! I had my bed, electric base, and frame delivered and was not pleased in that the electric base did not attach to the frame. The frame could move all over.. I returned to Ashley and spoke with Heather and she was able to assist and my electric base was changed to one that attached to the frame. Thank you Heather!!

We got it down to 3 options for living room and a suggestion for dining room ( which I wasn't really looking for). Got Dylan's card and left. About 2 weeks later, I came back with husband. I saw Dylan. And he remembered me..without my daughter! Even though it was super busy that day, he kept stopping by and checking on our progress. I felt very comfortable working with him. We came in looking for in stock living room set, knowing there was a wait for furniture during covid. Betsy was super efficient with finding us a sofa & loveseat that we were able to pick up later that day. Warehouse guys were helpful and we definitely recommend shopping here!
My husband and I were greeted at the door by Ben. Ben was great. I had been to the store the previous day looking and had narrowed my couch selection down to three sectionals. I brought my husband back the next day and I told Ben I was there the day before and now wanted to show my husband what I picked out. He followed us while I showed my husband. He explained every piece to us and told us we can create our own sectional if we didn’t like what was on the floor. He was very patient and honest with us. Once we picked out our sofa we went to the beds. We told him our issues and he showed us three mattresses. He thought the first one would be too soft and we agreed. He thought the second one would be more for me and not my husband and again he was right. When we got to the third one he thought it would be perfect for both of us and again we agreed. He explained to us all about the mattress and the adjustable base. Ben also showed us the mattress cover options which was a great help. He explained all the warranties to us with the mattress and sofas. Ben offered us everything he could offer us. I will definitely recommend Ben to my family and friends. I feel he really loves his job and that shows by the way he was patient with us and could answer all of our questions and explain everything to us about the different items.

Went looking for a new bedroom set with out really knowing what we wanted. From the minute we went into the store we felt welcome. Our sales man Warren Ward was beyond patient and understanding. I'm pretty sure we changed our mind 4-5 times. He made sure we understood all the differences and the finer points of each piece and when it was all said and done he bent over backwards to make sure we had the best price possible. From the management staff to the cashiers it was a very pleasant experience and will definitely be my go to place for any future furniture needs.
My wife and I stopped in at Ashley Home Store in Delmar in the middle of a snow storm to shop for furniture for our new house. We were assisted by Ben Miller, one of the best sales people we have ever dealt with. Due to the inclement weather we had to get back on the road before concluding our purchase. Over the course of the next week Ben assisted us in an extremely professional, competent and helpful manner to conclude a substantial purchase of the entire contents of our house. Mercedes WAS WONDERFUL, I have never had a more easy and fun time shopping at Ashley furniture as I did with her. I had moved from NYC to Salisbury, MD. My husband and I decided to start looking for furniture once we were approved on the apartment. We stopped off at Ashley in Delmar, DE and met Melissa Toledo. She is super friendly and very helpful. We ended up buying our bedroom set with mattress right away. I would so recommend Ashley and Melissa Toledo. And definitely I will be back because I still need more furniture lol.
Wasn't impressed. Seeing how dirty the carpet was started everything on the wrong foot. You want top prices but keep a dirty floor, thanks but no thanks. Since our previous visit 5 years ago was similar, we might stop by in another 5 years.
I’ve been buying from Warren once 2009 and have always been more than pleased with hi service. He actually picked out the perfect bedroom set for me years go that I still have.. He always takes time to asks questions to determine why furniture type will fit best in the environment. He’s great!!!

Went here mattress shopping and prices are inflated vs online and any other store. When negotiating price and financing they would not budge on anything. Went elsewhere. The salesman was pushy and sat there while we tried beds. Manager that was there was not helpful when trying to negotiating pricing. I came here to leave with a mattress. Also offered to pay cash for a mattress with online pricing if they threw in a mattress protector as well and they declined. Will not be going back

I ran into some problems with being able to pick up my furniture in time from their warehouse, Dominic and his staff at the Delmar store went over and beyond to make sure I was still able to pick it up after driving 2 hours 1 way to come get it. I purchased a very pricey sectional living room set, which 3 of the chairs had to be ordered. I waited almost a month for it to be delivered, & after delivery I started to smell an odor from the sofa. The chaise on the end of the sectional had a very musky, strong sweaty odor on the cushion. Contacted Ashley's with my concerns of the smell. & they agreed to replace the chaise. I had them pick the chaise up because I did not want my kids laying down on the chaise part. The management department made certain the chaise was reordered & a rush order was put in. Let's just say, it's been another month without the chaise chair & I am paying for furniture I have yet to enjoy.
I’m not sure if I bought my bed in this store or not. I bought online but regardless it was with your company, now this is the WORST store ever when it comes to buying beds etc. There website says “free shipping” they charged me and EXTRA $200 for shipping plus the mattress is HORRIBLE had to spend from my own money to buy a box spring for the mattress to be higher.

Great customer service hard to get financing
Sales lady very helpful, friendly and patient. Showed me many selections in a variety of price ranges until I finally picked one I was interested in. Custom made so explained that, helped me pick it color, arm, etc. Delivery men very nice, courteous and careful with my chair as well as my door frames and floor so as not to scratch or dirty anything. Had several weeks to pay while customizing and very good experience when going into store to make payment. All in all a great experience and live my new chair.
Chris, my Sales Rep was fantastic! If they ever lose him, they'll regret it. He was kind, patient and MOST IMPORTANTLY, HONEST! He didn't push for a sale. He didn't unnecessarily upsell. I told him what I was looking for and he worked hard to help me find what I need at a price I could afford. Thank you, Chris! I'll buy from him again. The only problem was my name was left off the list for same day delivery. Two gentlemen movers where scheduled to be done with their work day but still delivered and set up my furniture. I am so grateful to those gentlemen for their hard work and accommodation.

Great customer service! They greet you as soon as you walk in. It is bigger than I thought it would be. The store was well organized and thematic. It is a bit of a maze, but an organized one. They aren't too outrageous in price and have decent specials. I will be going back.

I havent had my living room set for a year and it is not comfortable. I got it from Ashley Furniture Store It makes my back ache b cause all my back feels is wood and bulky stuff. It is so uncomfortable . The cushion is sinking down on my loveseat feels like I am going down to the floor. All I feel is the frame.

And John and Andrew did an excellent job with the delivery and set up, making sure no damage came to our furniture or house. 10 out of 10, will shop at FurnitureLand again.
We went in just to browse for new couches and we ended up working with Taylor who is beyond fantastic! Taylor helped us find the very best deal and bent over backwards to make it work for us with financing as we were about to settle on our house and could not take out any new credit accounts. We now have our new couch and loveseat and could not be any happier with our purchase. If you go in, ask for Taylor, you will not regret it! The furniture and customer service will bring us back anytime we need new furniture!
Best furniture store on the eastern shore.
Had a terrible experience at Ashley furniture store. I ordered a whole bedroom set including additional items. Was told that it was guaranteed 21 days. Just to hear the day before it was all supposed to be delivered that they forgot to get a piece and told me I had to wait another’s 21 days. So before you buy and spend your hard earned money somewhere. Make sure they keep their word.

I was in need of a new bed since for years I've been settling for whatever cheap mattress I could afford from places like big lots. As an Hvac tech/Plumber/propane tech I work very long hard hours. April Milligan was my sales associate and she was amazing. She showed me several different options and answered all of my questions. Her professionalism and honesty was unmatched by any other salesperson I've ever delt with. She made the whole experience stress free and fun and made sure I was confident in the bed I selected. And with the 0 interest financing option I didnt have to dip into my savings. I strongly recommend Ashley furniture and very strongly recommend asking for April Milligan. I will be buying all my furniture from her and Ashley furniture from here on out.

If you're looking for furniture, this is the place to go. Not only do they have a large selection, but they work with you as much as they can - and then some in order to help you get the pieces you want.
First off the guy said it was about $500 cheaper then when I went to check out. Then when the guys came to deliver the furniture they scraped the paint in our brand new home. On top of that my husband had to go pick up a few items they didn't have in stock when I ordered and they charged him $20 more.... I will never use Ashley again. Worst place ever after spending over $4500 I expect better then scratched walls now I'll have to pay for that to be fixed to. I will be finding a new place to get the rest of the furniture for my home.

My husband and I just bought a sectional from This store. Our salesperson was Brittanie. She was amazing. Not only did she have so much knowledge of what was on the floor, but the following day she sent me a minimum of 10 different diagrams of arrangements with measurements to my cell phone so I could visualize them. When we narrowed it down, we came into the store and she changed up a sectional similar in the store so we could get a rough idea. She truly went above and beyond and I would highly suggest you ask for her by name. She even made sure that we knew what would be the best deals for us so we didn’t deal like we had to barter or even ask!

I love this store they greet u at the door when u walk in then they let u walk around and look or if I know what I are wanting they bring u right too it. They go over all the ins and outs of the furniture and the warranties. The delivery was excellent too they knew what they were doing and was fast at it as well.
Sent me wrong furniture and making me wait an additional month after waiting nearly a month the first time. No compensation for their mistake their assistant manager only says don't mess up the furniture that they wrongly sent so I guess my family and company will be sitting in plastic chairs for month. This was our first time buying furniture for our future home and Chris and the staff at Ashleys were so patient with us and made sure that we left with what we wanted! Vultures circling as soon as you hit the door. A bit pricy. But for a lack of better options, this is the go-to place in the area. The touch screen computer in the back corner makes things a little less stressful, but the items aren't always in stock at the store.
Great service, arrived on time, delivery guys very friendly. The only issue is that I had to buy the bolts for the bed frame when as a customer I feel the bed frame should automatically come with its own bolts for headboard attachment. Other than that, the entire experience was great:)

Great service, easy and effortless... I called Chris Acker at Ashley Furniture in Delmar DE to ask a few questions about an item I found online. He had the answers and assisted my husband and I when we went to the store to inquire further. We bought a bedroom set for our daughter who was in Greece on a school trip at the time. This was a surprise for her. The furniture was delivered in time for her return. Chris was fantastic and was great to talk to. This was my second time shopping with ashley furniture in delmar and it was great. The sales person Mercedes Patterson made sure i had got exactly what i had wanted. Also after i got the power base bed she called to made sure it was to my liking. So if your ever in need of furniture please go see Mercedes Patterson at ashleys in delmar.
I recently went to Ashley and was helped by a wonderful person, her name is Mercedes Patterson. She took on the job of helping me find some furniture to match a couch I already had. She was awesome!!! I walked out with everything I needed and a little extra. Had a great experience that day, my living room looks amazing. Thank you again to Mercedes for making my experience a wonderful one. If your looking for something go in and see her. She's awesome, helpful, and personable! Will definitely be going back to our new bed.
Mercedes greeted me within seconds after I walked through the front door. She was friendly and eager to help. She was very patient and helped me find the bedroom suite that suited my preference and style. Also, she explained the maker and the high quality of the furniture that I liked, along with the warranty package options. She was thoughtful enough to send a thank you note in the mail, which I received a few days later. I would definitely recommend Mercedes to my friends and family. It was a great pleasure working with her.
Michael Williams and Lisa Estevez were the BEST sales team! I don't like to feel harassed or pressured into things. Michael was sure to take care of us, while also making sure we were making decisions on our own. We just closed on a new home. Lisa sat down with us and walked us through our options. She genuinely cared about our concerns and explained the process thoroughly. Dan and Rodney delivered our items. They are phenomenal! Our items were delivered without issue. Dan explained how they were able to get certain items in should we ever move. I think it's important to add we have a large rambunctious dog. We kept him away for the majority of the time, but for the last few moments he was loose he loved all over these guys. They were so kind in how they responded. Overall EXCELLENT service and we will be back the next time we need anything.
I've been dealing with Ashley furniture for a couple of years and I have never had any problems with them.Great customer service each time I have went there.

. Incomplete order took longer than they stated. Stay away!!!!!!! The worst customer service stay away!!!!!!!!! 4 months to get things right on a bedroom set. Rude and incompetent.
