When we entered this location we were greeted so kindly by the sales associate Kyla. She was very pleasant, which we really appreciated! She was helpful in suggesting furniture selections, because we were actually unsure of what we wanted. When we had a question about the fabric of the furniture the answer she gave us showed she was very knowledgeable. She was thorough and certainly professional. She made sure we were advised about all of the furniture selections that were on sale! We ended up making a beautiful purchase at a great price and we are pleased! RCB

I recently visited the Middletown store and was lucky to have Alexis assist me with my purchase. I needed a breakfast set and Alexis showed my some options that I had not considered. I chose a table and chairs at a counter height that I am thrilled with. She handled the sale professionally and provided me all the information to schedule my delivery. The delivery went smoothly too, with notification of expected time of arrival. All of this was accomplished in less than a week. I would certainly consider having Alexis assist me with any future purchase. Thank you, Alexis for your patience and attention to detail.

Was harassed as soon as I stepped foot in the store with my mother-I kindly told the gentleman we were just browsing and didn’t need any help-we just wanted to enjoy and browse-he mumbled something rude-I decided to leave-it didn’t seem enjoyable after first entering-I think if we need help we would go to them-this store needs to stop approaching guest as first entering and let guest enjoy browsing alone

Dell, was a big help with my purchase. He was friendly and informative....i actually came back a couple hrs later to make my purchase based on his info and after my son looked at the pictures i sent earlier.

Had a pretty bad experience buying from this store. Bought a floor model and they sent me the bed with wrong parts and it took me countless hours to explain the issue on calls as well as couple of store visits to finally get the correct parts. The bed was not usable for about 40 days after the delivery. Their delivery team is even a bigger mess as they have damaged my brand new house stairs and a ceiling wall while taking the furniture upstairs. The worse part is the delivery guy tried to use a sketch pen to cover up the damage on the stairs so I wouldn't notice. Showed the damage to Delivery head and he took the pictures of the damage. Reported the issue to Ashley services and shared the pictures of the damages and after few weeks they said they cannot do anything as I failed to report the issue within 72 hours of the damage.

I went to Ashley today to look at new furniture for my bedroom. I was greeted by Jacquelynn, she assisted me with my search. I was unsure if I was just looking today or buying, and Jacquelynn wasn’t pushy at all! She took her time, was extremely knowledgeable on all the pieces. I greatly appreciated her honesty and the amount of time she took. I didn’t feel rushed and the other employees were extremely welcoming and briefly talked with me as well. I often find that furniture store employees can be pushy and like used car salesmen but my experience here was the complete opposite!

I would definitely recommend this location to anyone. This location is very big as well and I will be back to get my chair I couldn't get. My husband and I arrived to the Ashley Furniture Store in Middletown. Immediately upon entering, a salesman named Gary introduced himself and offered assistance. We told him we were just going to browse around. Now, we knew what we were looking for, but we just wanted to be able to look around with no pressure but Gary followed behind us striking up conversation. At first, I was thinking "oh no, this is not what I wanted" but Gary ended up being a wealth of information and offered no pressure to buy. We ended up buying an awesome sectional! We love it and so do our dogs! Thank you Ashley and the awesome salesman named Gary!

CONSUMER BEWARE! Most reviews you will read are extorted from customers at time of sale. While sales people are good folks. The company itself is basically a fraud in all areas. On October 25th. I ordered 2 sofas. It was verified multiple times before purchasing that it was in the warehouse and then I would have it within a few days. That I would receive a phone call with a delivery time. At that time I paid in full no financing. As of December 7, I still have not yet received my products. After coming back to the store to inquire, I was told they were waiting to receive the product from the manufacturer. When I said, I’d rather just cancel the order and take my business elsewhere multiple members of staff at the desk became belligerent with me and told me it would be a 30% restocking fee. For what you don’t even have it? Even the sales rep. Validated my claim that it was in stock when we made the purchase as they remember me and the purchase. As I’ve given it a few days to be able to write a review with the Level head I received a call today about a four hour window at the end of next week for delivery. My advice to any potential customer is to take your business elsewhere. There is a reason Their parking lot is forever empty. take the lesson that I have learned the hard way I will NEVER PROVIDE BUSINESS TO ANY ASHLEY STORE AGAIN. And that doesn’t even include piss poor experience my parents had.

Despite the fact that I went at 830 pm after work, the employees still gave their full attention and were able to have my issues fixed within 15 minutes. They were understanding of my need to edit my order, and very helpful in getting my issue resolved. I was pleasantly surprised that their delivery service also includes assembly in the home! I really want to give zero stars but it wasnt a choice. I will never purchase anything from this store. I purchased almost $3000 worth of furniture. My couches have tears in them and my granddaughter dresser completely fell apart. I purchased the protection plan which is useless. It is obvious that these products are made poorly. They would not honor the protection plan and made some stupid excuses that it is a stress tear. What? We hardly sit on these couches and on my granddaughters dresser they said wasn't covered under the protection plan. When we purchased the plan they said all products were covered now the one thing I want replaced is conveniently not covered. Please do you homework when dealing with Ashley's. Don't waste your time purchasing anything from them. It is just a heartache and extremely aggrevating. Especially don't purchase the protection plan. I believe that they will make any excuse not to cover your products. It is all just a scam. Shame on Ashley's and their protection plan company.

If we could give a zero out of five, we would. My wife and I purchased two, three seat reclining sofas in July of 2022. We recently moved our furniture around and flipped the sofas to break the other one in. After sitting on it for only a couple weeks, we noticed multiple holes in the sides of the back rests. Along with this, the other couch’s leather began deteriorating and is showing a disgusting looking white residue. We bought the protection plan on them, so figured to just call customer service and it would get taken care of. Well, we thought wrong. Nobody was a help. Everybody said it was a “manufacturer error” and nothing could be done. If we wanted it fixed, it would come out of our pocket. We took the time to stop into two different stores and several employees, including managers and the regional manager, said it should be covered with no issues. The regional manager contacted a manager in the customer service department and said she could get us taken care of. After hearing from her, she became a nightmare to get ahold of and in the end, said there was still nothing they could do. The furniture is now discontinued and essentially, we’re out of luck. But she made sure to pass along a phone number to the Furniture Doctor, which we would have to pay for ourselves. Bottom line is, DO NOT buy from this place. They blatantly lied to us about the coverages of the protection plans and this furniture is just not holding up like we thought it would.

It was a relatively easy buying experience and the delivery was ok (not great because of the challenges dealing with their delivery center). After everything was setup and they left, I found one drawer with the guides not working right. I contacted the store and sent them pictures as they requested. Well, it’s now 3 months later and they still haven’t fixed the problem. I contacted corporate and they said “end of April” is when the parts will be in. It should not take months to get 2 drawer guides in and replaced. I’d highly recommend spending your money elsewhere if you want customer support. You won’t get it from Ashley.

I ordered a replacement cushion for my sofa back in July which was supposed to be delivered in approximately 6 weeks. Its now the week of Thanksgiving and I still dont have the cushion. Ive called this location every week and I get a different answer every time. I even offered to drive to the warehouse and pick up the cushion myself which they said was not possible.
Went into Ashley’s to look at Bed frames. Jacquelynn greeted us as soon as we walked in and began showing us bed frames. Though we did not find a frame, she did have us try out the a tempur-pedic mattress as part of a promotion. 2 weeks later we came back to get that mattress and a new sectional. She was very sweet and did not put any pressure on us but was very helpful in guiding us to the best options. The entire staff was great!

**FROM INTIAL VISIT**Debbie was very informative and knowledgeable. She made the furniture buying process easy and enjoyable. **UPDATE** I have had my couches from Ashley for under a year and they are pilling like crazy even though all my fiancé and I do is sit on them. These cushions look like they have seen 20 years of wear and tear. DO NOT buy couches from Ashley or you will end up with worn fabric after only 5 months of owning the couches. The only reason I am writing this is because I have been told by Ashley management that I would be reached out to since I paid for a warranty, I was never contacted.

I purchased a rather expensive bed from Ashley furniture, when deliver after a month, the bed didn’t has all of the parts. I then had to go to the store and retrieve the needed parts and still did not get all of the required parts. Unacceptable! I thought Ashley in Middletown was a solid represented company. Very disappointed. The sales lady even tried to explain as if it wasn’t a huge mistake. Beware of fast talking sales people

We purchased a dining room table and chairs from this location roughly over a month ago. When we purchased it we told them our home would be finished being built on 6/28 and we’d like it delivered on 6/29 they said their system doesn’t all them to schedule past 30 days out, I said ok not a problem we’d come back closer to settlement. After some back and forth between the sales rep and manager they said I could order it as long as I called back to reschedule prior to the delivery date. I said ok not a problem. I called to reschedule as they instructed, when I called 6/29 was still beyond the 30 day maximum for scheduling, the lady says “I’m not going to pick a date I’m going to leave it unscheduled will you please call on 6/1 to schedule for your 6/29 date. I said, I’d prefer you make a note and schedule it but sure. Rather than call we decided to look at a couch and go in person, while we were there I went to reschedule it… the lady tells me I need to wait until the fourth so the system can update. I called today 6/6 and was told the earliest they could deliver my item was July 28th. I said no I already paid for the items and they are in the warehouse… they said no company policy is to send them back after two weeks and resell them. They would be happy to allow me to find something else in stock or wait for my items. I followed every instruction they provided and now I can’t get my items until 60days from now…. somehow a week ago it was impossible to schedule past 30days. Very poor customer service. I’ll never buy another item from them! Update -6/8 The Store manager called me today to apologize for the situation, acknowledged their mistake and was able to schedule my delivery for 6/29. I’ll update this again on delivery day.

Can't give an answer about this as we have not received it yet. But the sales help was wonderful and our we were pleased with the procedure to purchase both items. It would have been nice if they had a bigger selection of padded seat for our island/counter in the kitchen. But that was not an option. Thank you for your service and hospitality.

I order bedroom set I was told will take 6-8 weeks then they said 12 weeks. So my 12 week over they told me furniture is back order probably will get it next month. Basically I waited more then 4 months then I got my refund back. They’re not supposed to charge my credit card till I get the furniture. But they charged it the first day . I don’t recommend buy furniture they play game with you . Had very bad experience.

I was apprehensive about shopping here as i had read some negative reviews. Very friendly welcome and althought i didnt find what i was shopping for, i did wind up buying a dresser that i was able to use as a sidepiece in my living area. Salesperson was helpful and knowledgeable, and patient as i was exploring my options. Overall a very positive experience.

Delivery, way overdue! This has gone beyond COVID expectation. The Sofa I ordered is made overseas. Now wondering if what I see in the store is going to actually be what I get...when it arrives...over 9 weeks & waiting.

80% of the furniture is made of OSB. Cheap garbage imo. They said they're having a Black Friday sale with 60% off retail. Sales associate slipped and said their prices are already marked 50% off. So it's just like a 10% off BF sale. Not impressed.

This is my first time purchase from Ashley HomeStore. Went in just to look around. As soon as I walked in was greeted by Reicko super friendly. He took me around to show me what I am looking for. I found something that I like but it’s not in stock. I asked him to keep an eye out for me. He called the next day to let me know that he found something and its in stock. I went in after work to check it out. Felt in love with it. Bought it on Saturday received it by Wednesday at 7 am. Reicko called on Wednesday afternoon to see if everything is ok with the delivery. Love my new electric recliner. Thank you Reicko.
My fiancé and I visited Ashley furniture store a couple of months ago and brought some furniture for our basement. We had no clue what to order we just knew we needed something comfortable and new. When we arrive to Ashley’s we were assisted by Crystal Broomer who was very helpful and hands on when it came to delivery for us. She set up a certain delivery date for us and Ashley’s was on time with it even though we had to reschedule. Again she was very helpful when it came to rescheduling. The quality of the furniture is superb and comments from our family are all positive. We'll be back for more. Thanks

Best experience at this location. While, I’ve visited a few locations between MD & VA, my Delaware experience is incomparable. I’m the store was beautiful. I came in and was initially greeted. Had the opportunity to work with a fantastic saleswoman named Crystal Broomer who took good care of me. She made me so at ease, was so knowledgeable with a good spirit and positive energy. When I thought I was only going in to look around and get ideas, because I don’t live in Delaware (so I thought I couldn’t purchased for a Delaware store) Crystal made my dream a reality! I was able to order new furniture for kitchen and office and get it shipped directly to my home! I felt at ease and confident I made the right decision. I will call Crystal before making any furniture purchases in the future! Thanks for great customer service!
There delivery service is horrible they came to my house to deliver my table and didn't have the freaking legs to the table on the truck the legs had to be delivered separately by UPS Now here it is going on 2 weeks and I am still fighting with Ashley Furniture and the delivery team to have someone to comeback to my house to put the damm legs on my table meanwhile my family and I have no table to eat on . I am so frustrated right now as long as they continue using this 3rd party delivery team I will never order anything else in my life from Ashley Furniture again.

Service at the store was OK, however, the attitude and service level of "Will" the driver and "Ruby the dispatcher is nothing short of GARBAGE!!! Not to mention, the furniture arrived months later, and some of it was damaged. Never Ashley again!

Mikayla greeted us directly at the entrance of the store. She inquired if we were looking for anything in particular and stated that she would happily assist. She provided financial quotes and knowledge of products with ease and comfort. Her excellent customer provided a wonderful purchasing experience!!!

Purchased new furniture set in the fall of 2020. The loveseat recliner failed. The warranty declines service citing seller 1-year warranty. Ashley’s communication is less than acceptable. Based on my experience, would encourage others to shop wisely.

Worst experience ever. I went there ordered furniture they came it wouldn’t fit through the door so then they said I had to order more stuff for them to bring back another set so I did drivers went and wouldn’t pull it off the truck because he said it was no way it would fit. So I ended up canceling the order three months later I found out that they’re taking the payment out of my account so now I called the store talk to the manager they said they would get it straight and call me right back it’s been 24 hours still have not heard back

This is the most horrible experience. Iv waited 6 months for my beds and it was delivered with wrong pieces to beds. Couch was delivered with out all pieces and still haven't received my bar stools. I'll never shop here again

BEWARE! The incompetence of Monique will transform you from a decades-long purchaser of Ashley Furniture to one who warns others to avoid this store!!! I went from a solid Ashley Furniture buyer/customer to its biggest critic after a single phone call with her. She is the poster-child for argumentative nonsense spewed by an incompetence-laced demeanor. She just does not know; what she does not know. Her words to me, "LLL..II..SSEENN, you are not listening....there is nothing I can do for you & no you cannot talk to my manager." I had to phone their corporate office to get a simple resolution. LOOK SOME OTHER PLACE, or consider yourself warned by me & other reviewers.
Worst experience. Zero stars should be an option. I ordered a sectional in January (knew I would wait a few months for delivery because of covid). They call me end of May for delivery (yay!!! So excited) oh wait, they made a mistake, it’s not ready. They call us the next day to schedule delivery again and guess what, they made the same mistake. Shipment not ready. We finally get it delivered 6-5-21 and....it’s MISSING A END CUSHION!!!! A huge end cushion, no where to be found. They promised a new cushion in 7-10days........12 days later, still waiting and no one at the store can give me an answer as to when. Never again. Horrible customer service. You can never speak to the manager, he’s never there at the store on the multiple occasions I called and he never has had the curtesy to return a phone call. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Never again.

Absolutely terrible leadership at this store. The managers are completely disengaged and lack any kind of ownership. They gave our order to someone else after we had already waited 5 months. The manager just said "well if you are not satisfied you can cancel your order." No sense of urgency or drive to try and make things right. I called the day of deliver to check on the status. the phone rang for a straight five minutes until an unenthused employee picked up and couldn't answer any questions about the deliver. "well can you at least talk to someone who knows the answers to my questions?" him: "no i don't think anyone here can answer that." Corp Ashley furniture really needs to do some leadership training with this store. It is giving them a bad name. Zero chance i ever set foot in there again.
Only giving one star because I can’t give zero. Worst experience I have ever had ever ordering anything. We ordered a mattress and when it was being delivered the guy came an hour before scheduled and we were on our way home to meet him but he let us know that he left to go do more deliveries and blamed us, said he’d be back when HE could, hours later and hung up on me anytime I called for updates. In addition to that, we ordered a bed frame to go with the mattress & our delivery date was pushed back 3 times & came 3 months later than we were originally promised. All we got were flippant apologies and no compensation. Never again.
The incompetence of the employees, particularly Monique, is astounding. If you like being called and messaged to be informed of your purchase arriving but then going to the store to find surprise it is not, than you'll love this place. As "an apology" you are than informed to have your item delivered, for the hassle of having gone before, and than guess what they are not, you will love this place. Mistakes. They deserve ZERO stars not even ONE, we bought a dining set and received three chairs that were in bad quality, 4 months dealing with them and calling service and nothing has been done, very bad customer service, I am not sure where you can file a complain but hope they will go out of business in 2 years if they keep doing business like that! before you sign the paper during the delivery, make sure you inspect all furniture, if there is any minor damage, ask them to take it back because it will never be fixed!!
I wish I could give this company ZERO stars. We ordered a couch in September and were told we'd have it in 2-8 weeks. It's now April and we have not received our furniture. The store/sales rep did not provide status of our purchase. Had we not called and/or stopped in the store, we would be in the dark. Our furniture is supposed to be delivered on Saturday but I'm not holding my breath.
We had a great experience in terms of shopping...very friendly and helpful staff and nice selection..prices, eh, well, the sale prices are not the huge discounts they advertise but not bad pricing...the lead times for delivery are an issue everywhere and it is always, always best to be honest from the retailer's end as it leads to the problems I see here..Honesty is always the best policy and no one should promise any furniture to be delivered in less than 4-6 months as that it this is the true timeframe. COVID has messed up so many things but in this case, it's the demand that is causing a backlog at the furniture factories. If you are told a much shorter delivery time, I would be very skeptical.
WORST FURNITURE store experience EVER ! When we were shopping in the store it took over an hour to get assistance, then when ordering our son’s mattress we were quoted one week it is now 3 weeks later I’ve called every week sense wondering where it is. Just to be told that it is there now (with an attitude) by the young woman who answered the phone and continued to go back and forth about it with my spouse when he was expressing our concerns about not being notified about our mattress at ALL . Then when asked if we could speak to a manager the young lady provided push back on that as well. As a PAYING customer you would expect a better experience than this, we will NEVER order anything from this establishment again and if they offered returns/ refunds we would have done that over dealing with such bad service.
This is the absolute worse store I have ever purchased anything from. Not only has my furniture not been delivered that was ordered in November and it’s no February, it has been pushed back 2 times with no notification from them. When I called and spoke to the manager Christina, she was rude, talked over top of me and was less then helpful!
Couldn't find the information we needed
Absolute worst experience. I recommend you do not believe their word on when your items will be delivered. They sold me an item on 9/13/2020. Still haven't received the item as of today. They rescheduled this delivery 4 times already. And now they are telling me it won't be available until mid February 2021. Beware they are selling furniture they don't have, collecting money from customers and making excuses for months. I will also report this to BBB next. Time to cancel this order.
They take your money and go radio silent about status of your order. While taking your order with upfront full pay, they don't have issue with pandemic or virus. It will be YOUR JOB T O FOLLOW UP YOUR ORDER STATUS. When you inquire, everything is delayed because of virus as if the tree that they get lumber got virus.That's how the business work WITH THIS STORE. 3 month and still waiting for my order to be delivered. Once is enough. DO NOT listen to the lead times they tell you. My wife and I ordered 4 different pieces in August and they keep pushing back the delivery time. Now they are saying March is when they will be delivered. They quoted us 2-6 weeks, and it's going to end up being minimum 6 months.
We are very dissatisfied and disappointed with Ashley Home Furniture. We paid for our couch in the beginning of November and we’re told 2-12 weeks on the delivery. It is is February 18th and we are now told we will not receive the couch till the end of March.... we have been very reasonable and understanding of the supply issues but I will not tolerate the level of rudeness displayed by their employees. Not only do they screen and avoid calls from us. (I’ve tested on other numbers) they basically tell us with attitude there’s nothing we can do. Little to no customer service training exists at this place. I am not someone who writes reviews... ever... this is how much this upset me and my fiancé as we are first time homebuyers still waiting on the one piece of furniture that brings our house together.
