I stopped in to look at their types of furniture and prices. I really liked the variety and especially the service. My sales person Kyla, who answered all my questions, she was very pleasant and a happy person. She let me shop, giving me time to see all the options of furniture I was looking for. CONSUMER BEWARE! Most reviews you will read are extorted from customers at time of sale. While sales people are good folks. The company itself is basically a fraud in all areas. On October 25th. I ordered 2 sofas. It was verified multiple times before purchasing that it was in the warehouse and then I would have it within a few days. That I would receive a phone call with a delivery time. At that time I paid in full no financing. As of December 7, I still have not yet received my products. After coming back to the store to inquire, I was told they were waiting to receive the product from the manufacturer. When I said, I’d rather just cancel the order and take my business elsewhere multiple members of staff at the desk became belligerent with me and told me it would be a 30% restocking fee. For what you don’t even have it? Even the sales rep. Validated my claim that it was in stock when we made the purchase as they remember me and the purchase. As I’ve given it a few days to be able to write a review with the Level head I received a call today about a four hour window at the end of next week for delivery. My advice to any potential customer is to take your business elsewhere. There is a reason Their parking lot is forever empty. take the lesson that I have learned the hard way I will NEVER PROVIDE BUSINESS TO ANY ASHLEY STORE AGAIN. And that doesn’t even include piss poor experience my parents had.
Mason at the Middletown location was very nice and helpful! He took the time to walk us through the important information of the couch we were looking at, and even took out a tape measure to help us measure specific dimensions. Very fun to work with and made our shopping experience one to remember!
I had a fantastic experience at Ashley Homestore! The customer service was exceptional, and Mason went above and beyond to help. Mason , was especially kind, and patient making the entire process smooth. Mason answered all-our questions and provided great recommendations without being pushy. Recently bought some new furniture for my move, there was an issue with my order. Despite the fact that I went at 830 pm after work, the employees still gave their full attention and were able to have my issues fixed within 15 minutes. They were understanding of my need to edit my order, and very helpful in getting my issue resolved. I was pleasantly surprised that their delivery service also includes assembly in the home! Well worth the money.

I really want to give zero stars but it wasnt a choice. I will never purchase anything from this store. I purchased almost $3000 worth of furniture. My couches have tears in them and my granddaughter dresser completely fell apart. I purchased the protection plan which is useless. It is obvious that these products are made poorly. They would not honor the protection plan and made some stupid excuses that it is a stress tear. What? We hardly sit on these couches and on my granddaughters dresser they said wasn't covered under the protection plan. When we purchased the plan they said all products were covered now the one thing I want replaced is conveniently not covered. Please do you homework when dealing with Ashley's. Don't waste your time purchasing anything from them. It is just a heartache and extremely aggrevating. Especially don't purchase the protection plan. I believe that they will make any excuse not to cover your products. It is all just a scam. Shame on Ashley's and their protection plan company.

If we could give a zero out of five, we would. My wife and I purchased two, three seat reclining sofas in July of 2022. We recently moved our furniture around and flipped the sofas to break the other one in. After sitting on it for only a couple weeks, we noticed multiple holes in the sides of the back rests. Along with this, the other couch’s leather began deteriorating and is showing a disgusting looking white residue. We bought the protection plan on them, so figured to just call customer service and it would get taken care of. Well, we thought wrong. Nobody was a help. Everybody said it was a “manufacturer error” and nothing could be done. If we wanted it fixed, it would come out of our pocket. We took the time to stop into two different stores and several employees, including managers and the regional manager, said it should be covered with no issues. The regional manager contacted a manager in the customer service department and said she could get us taken care of. After hearing from her, she became a nightmare to get ahold of and in the end, said there was still nothing they could do. The furniture is now discontinued and essentially, we’re out of luck. But she made sure to pass along a phone number to the Furniture Doctor, which we would have to pay for ourselves. Bottom line is, DO NOT buy from this place. They blatantly lied to us about the coverages of the protection plans and this furniture is just not holding up like we thought it would.

It was a relatively easy buying experience and the delivery was ok (not great because of the challenges dealing with their delivery center). After everything was setup and they left, I found one drawer with the guides not working right. I contacted the store and sent them pictures as they requested. Well, it’s now 3 months later and they still haven’t fixed the problem. I contacted corporate and they said “end of April” is when the parts will be in. It should not take months to get 2 drawer guides in and replaced. I’d highly recommend spending your money elsewhere if you want customer support. You won’t get it from Ashley.

I ordered a replacement cushion for my sofa back in July which was supposed to be delivered in approximately 6 weeks. Its now the week of Thanksgiving and I still dont have the cushion. Ive called this location every week and I get a different answer every time. I even offered to drive to the warehouse and pick up the cushion myself which they said was not possible.
Went into Ashley’s to look at Bed frames. Jacquelynn greeted us as soon as we walked in and began showing us bed frames. Though we did not find a frame, she did have us try out the a tempur-pedic mattress as part of a promotion. 2 weeks later we came back to get that mattress and a new sectional. She was very sweet and did not put any pressure on us but was very helpful in guiding us to the best options. The entire staff was great!

**FROM INTIAL VISIT**Debbie was very informative and knowledgeable. She made the furniture buying process easy and enjoyable. **UPDATE** I have had my couches from Ashley for under a year and they are pilling like crazy even though all my fiancé and I do is sit on them. These cushions look like they have seen 20 years of wear and tear. DO NOT buy couches from Ashley or you will end up with worn fabric after only 5 months of owning the couches. The only reason I am writing this is because I have been told by Ashley management that I would be reached out to since I paid for a warranty, I was never contacted.

I purchased a rather expensive bed from Ashley furniture, when deliver after a month, the bed didn’t has all of the parts. I then had to go to the store and retrieve the needed parts and still did not get all of the required parts. Unacceptable! I thought Ashley in Middletown was a solid represented company. Very disappointed. The sales lady even tried to explain as if it wasn’t a huge mistake. Beware of fast talking sales people

Horrible business practices—one issue after another. Never going back! Short version: ordered a sofa I liked, they decided not to make anymore and cancelled. We purchased a dining room table and chairs from this location roughly over a month ago. When we purchased it we told them our home would be finished being built on 6/28 and we’d like it delivered on 6/29 they said their system doesn’t all them to schedule past 30 days out, I said ok not a problem we’d come back closer to settlement. After some back and forth between the sales rep and manager they said I could order it as long as I called back to reschedule prior to the delivery date. I said ok not a problem. I called to reschedule as they instructed, when I called 6/29 was still beyond the 30 day maximum for scheduling, the lady says “I’m not going to pick a date I’m going to leave it unscheduled will you please call on 6/1 to schedule for your 6/29 date. I said, I’d prefer you make a note and schedule it but sure. Rather than call we decided to look at a couch and go in person, while we were there I went to reschedule it… the lady tells me I need to wait until the fourth so the system can update. I called today 6/6 and was told the earliest they could deliver my item was July 28th. I said no I already paid for the items and they are in the warehouse… they said no company policy is to send them back after two weeks and resell them. They would be happy to allow me to find something else in stock or wait for my items. I followed every instruction they provided and now I can’t get my items until 60days from now…. somehow a week ago it was impossible to schedule past 30days. Very poor customer service. I’ll never buy another item from them! Update -6/8 The Store manager called me today to apologize for the situation, acknowledged their mistake and was able to schedule my delivery for 6/29. I’ll update this again on delivery day.

Can't give an answer about this as we have not received it yet. But the sales help was wonderful and our we were pleased with the procedure to purchase both items. It would have been nice if they had a bigger selection of padded seat for our island/counter in the kitchen. But that was not an option. Thank you for your service and hospitality.

When they came to deliver those items, it looked so beautiful, but the next day the legs fell off the ottoman and the sofa.The Bedroom (2 nite stands, $292.00, 1 full panel bed, $320.00, 1 10inch coil mattress, $404.49, 1 chest of drawers, $657.00. Total cost 1,773.90.I started searching on line and found the same exact set from MMFurniture.comChest of drawers $285.00Night stands $135. ×2Panel bed $285.7Total cost online $842.00I paid $1,269. Plus $404.49 for the coil mattress.Hind sight I should have gone to MMFURNITURE.COM to save $400-$500Not only do they not correct what their assemblers messed up but they ignore you.It's been 5 months still no fix.I'm going to post this every month!!!!!

One of the worst customer service I have ever received. Ordered a bedroom set that they stated will come in between 6-8 weeks. 8 weeks come by and when I called (because they didn't have the decency to call me) they stated it was on backorder and will be 16 weeks from original order date. Fine, so I asked for a refund because I didn't want to wait that long. This took a week of them giving me the run around to include Andrea (office manager and nastiest person) and Bruce (General Manager). They first stated that they needed corporate approval for a refund. Then I'm told their system have been down and couldn't process my refund. The GM told me to return the next day and he will process me the refund. Show up to find out he was not there that day. Andrea proceeded to be nasty and charge me a 10% restocking fee for something I haven't received and it was pushed out further than I was told. This was my first time at Ashley and last time.
I order bedroom set I was told will take 6-8 weeks then they said 12 weeks. So my 12 week over they told me furniture is back order probably will get it next month. Basically I waited more then 4 months then I got my refund back. They’re not supposed to charge my credit card till I get the furniture. But they charged it the first day . I don’t recommend buy furniture they play game with you . Had very bad experience.

I gave them a second try because I have a credit card with them(which I wish I never applied for, bc their service is terrible) and again let down by poor communication and poor management of customer expectations

I was apprehensive about shopping here as i had read some negative reviews. Very friendly welcome and althought i didnt find what i was shopping for, i did wind up buying a dresser that i was able to use as a sidepiece in my living area. Salesperson was helpful and knowledgeable, and patient as i was exploring my options. Overall a very positive experience.

I purchased a bedroom set April 2021. I expected some delays because the country was still dealing with Covid. Eventually I did receive my bedroom set August 2021. The delivery man informed me the handle and screws for the nightstand was missing and I'd have to contact the store for assistance. I was surprised the store manager informed me I'd have to contact the service department myself for this issue. The service department is in Philly. Well, after 6 months of calling the service department with no results, I'd had it and decided to file a lawsuit since they breached the contract. As I was preparing my paperwork, I finally received a call from Ashley that the handle was in and they'd install it. The moral of the story is if anything is missing from your furniture delivery, Ashley furniture leaves you to your own devices to get the missing parts ON YOUR OWN!

Delivery, way overdue! This has gone beyond COVID expectation. The Sofa I ordered is made overseas. Now wondering if what I see in the store is going to actually be what I get...when it arrives...over 9 weeks & waiting.
Horrible experience picking up my furniture. Was told I was given a week to pick up a bed room set. Had sprained my ankle and ended up in the hospital moving into my new home. I Began speaking with the manager Anthony Capetola but he became very hostile and told my family we actually had only 48 hours as stated on the contract (which was contracting what he been told to us initially) and he would be returning the furniture and giving store credit. The manager would not give me his supervisors name or number and continued to talk down on us. Terrible customer service and now we have to find furniture elsewhere.
We ordered couches in September and were told they would be in by October. Come December and have no idea when they will be delivered. When we went to cancel the order it took us four visits for a number of reasons such as there was no manager on duty etc. And I finally reached the manager he was insulting to us and we cannot even evaluate or correctly calculate the amount of a refund that we were owed. They had previously calculated tax and an incorrect discount on items that we took out of the store back in Se

80% of the furniture is made of OSB. Cheap garbage imo. They said they're having a Black Friday sale with 60% off retail. Sales associate slipped and said their prices are already marked 50% off. So it's just like a 10% off BF sale. Not impressed.

This is my first time purchase from Ashley HomeStore. Went in just to look around. As soon as I walked in was greeted by Reicko super friendly. He took me around to show me what I am looking for. I found something that I like but it’s not in stock. I asked him to keep an eye out for me. He called the next day to let me know that he found something and its in stock. I went in after work to check it out. Felt in love with it. Bought it on Saturday received it by Wednesday at 7 am. Reicko called on Wednesday afternoon to see if everything is ok with the delivery. Love my new electric recliner. Thank you Reicko.
My fiancé and I visited Ashley furniture store a couple of months ago and brought some furniture for our basement. We had no clue what to order we just knew we needed something comfortable and new. When we arrive to Ashley’s we were assisted by Crystal Broomer who was very helpful and hands on when it came to delivery for us. She set up a certain delivery date for us and Ashley’s was on time with it even though we had to reschedule. Again she was very helpful when it came to rescheduling. The quality of the furniture is superb and comments from our family are all positive. We'll be back for more. Thanks

Best experience at this location. While, I’ve visited a few locations between MD & VA, my Delaware experience is incomparable. I’m the store was beautiful. I came in and was initially greeted. Had the opportunity to work with a fantastic saleswoman named Crystal Broomer who took good care of me. She made me so at ease, was so knowledgeable with a good spirit and positive energy. When I thought I was only going in to look around and get ideas, because I don’t live in Delaware (so I thought I couldn’t purchased for a Delaware store) Crystal made my dream a reality! I was able to order new furniture for kitchen and office and get it shipped directly to my home! I felt at ease and confident I made the right decision. I will call Crystal before making any furniture purchases in the future! Thanks for great customer service!
There delivery service is horrible they came to my house to deliver my table and didn't have the freaking legs to the table on the truck the legs had to be delivered separately by UPS Now here it is going on 2 weeks and I am still fighting with Ashley Furniture and the delivery team to have someone to comeback to my house to put the damm legs on my table meanwhile my family and I have no table to eat on . I am so frustrated right now as long as they continue using this 3rd party delivery team I will never order anything else in my life from Ashley Furniture again.

Service at the store was OK, however, the attitude and service level of "Will" the driver and "Ruby the dispatcher is nothing short of GARBAGE!!! Not to mention, the furniture arrived months later, and some of it was damaged. Never Ashley again!

I have never been so unsatisfied with a furniture store. I purchased a sectional, ottoman, and a recliner in March and have heard nothing from the company. I was told when I bought it that it would be 8-10 weeks. It has been more than double that time and all I've gotten was the run around from customer service. "It should happen next week" is literally the response I've gotten each week. I ask for a call back when they "hear back from the other warehouse." I called today only to hear that it would be hopefully October 3rd. If their associates would just say that it would be 6-8 months, I'd be fine. Just be honest with timelines. I'm cancelling my order. Just not worth the hassle.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Bought a bedroom set in February and paid for it up front. Just received a partial delivery yesterday (August) . Everything but the bed frame. At the time of the sale we were told we would hear from someone in a month or two to schedule delivery. More like never and we had to call the store for a month to get someone to answer just to get the run around and never get to a supervisor. They were never around and never got the numerous messages left. After that I got online to complain just to be told this store is privately owned and not a corporate store. Then they gave us a number to the main office which ended up being a little more helpful. Instead had to go to the store and found the regional manager there. Finally got the answers but still had to wait another three weeks and call to remind him. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Only reason I never got a refund was because the wife really wanted this set and not wanting to go start another wait time anywhere else. This post is being nice too.

Purchased new furniture set in the fall of 2020. The loveseat recliner failed. The warranty declines service citing seller 1-year warranty. Ashley’s communication is less than acceptable. Based on my experience, would encourage others to shop wisely.

Worst experience ever. I went there ordered furniture they came it wouldn’t fit through the door so then they said I had to order more stuff for them to bring back another set so I did drivers went and wouldn’t pull it off the truck because he said it was no way it would fit. So I ended up canceling the order three months later I found out that they’re taking the payment out of my account so now I called the store talk to the manager they said they would get it straight and call me right back it’s been 24 hours still have not heard back

This is the most horrible experience. Iv waited 6 months for my beds and it was delivered with wrong pieces to beds. Couch was delivered with out all pieces and still haven't received my bar stools. I'll never shop here again

BEWARE! The incompetence of Monique will transform you from a decades-long purchaser of Ashley Furniture to one who warns others to avoid this store!!! I went from a solid Ashley Furniture buyer/customer to its biggest critic after a single phone call with her. She is the poster-child for argumentative nonsense spewed by an incompetence-laced demeanor. She just does not know; what she does not know. Her words to me, "LLL..II..SSEENN, you are not listening....there is nothing I can do for you & no you cannot talk to my manager." I had to phone their corporate office to get a simple resolution. LOOK SOME OTHER PLACE, or consider yourself warned by me & other reviewers.
Worst experience. Zero stars should be an option. I ordered a sectional in January (knew I would wait a few months for delivery because of covid). They call me end of May for delivery (yay!!! So excited) oh wait, they made a mistake, it’s not ready. They call us the next day to schedule delivery again and guess what, they made the same mistake. Shipment not ready. We finally get it delivered 6-5-21 and....it’s MISSING A END CUSHION!!!! A huge end cushion, no where to be found. They promised a new cushion in 7-10days........12 days later, still waiting and no one at the store can give me an answer as to when. Never again. Horrible customer service. You can never speak to the manager, he’s never there at the store on the multiple occasions I called and he never has had the curtesy to return a phone call. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Never again.

Ordered bunk beds in November, now in the middle of may, they are still not in. Have stopped in the store several times, always told one thing, to later be told something else. The absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. They literally hung up the phone on me when I called today. I have been told 3 different times by the so called manager that she would call be back, which never happens. Please, for your own sanity, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!

Absolutely terrible leadership at this store. The managers are completely disengaged and lack any kind of ownership. They gave our order to someone else after we had already waited 5 months. The manager just said "well if you are not satisfied you can cancel your order." No sense of urgency or drive to try and make things right. I called the day of deliver to check on the status. the phone rang for a straight five minutes until an unenthused employee picked up and couldn't answer any questions about the deliver. "well can you at least talk to someone who knows the answers to my questions?" him: "no i don't think anyone here can answer that." Corp Ashley furniture really needs to do some leadership training with this store. It is giving them a bad name. Zero chance i ever set foot in there again.

If you like being called and messaged to be informed of your purchase arriving but then going to the store to find surprise it is not, than you'll love this place. Well... the couch is great, even tho I was without one for over a month. I called alot.... my couch was available for delivery but my Ottoman won't be available until may.... not thrilled about the length of time. But I'm pleased with the Quality. Kinda.
They deserve ZERO stars not even ONE, we bought a dining set and received three chairs that were in bad quality, 4 months dealing with them and calling service and nothing has been done, very bad customer service, I am not sure where you can file a complain but hope they will go out of business in 2 years if they keep doing business like that! before you sign the paper during the delivery, make sure you inspect all furniture, if there is any minor damage, ask them to take it back because it will never be fixed!!
I wish I could give this company ZERO stars. We ordered a couch in September and were told we'd have it in 2-8 weeks. It's now April and we have not received our furniture. The store/sales rep did not provide status of our purchase. Had we not called and/or stopped in the store, we would be in the dark. Our furniture is supposed to be delivered on Saturday but I'm not holding my breath.

We had a great experience in terms of shopping...very friendly and helpful staff and nice selection..prices, eh, well, the sale prices are not the huge discounts they advertise but not bad pricing...the lead times for delivery are an issue everywhere and it is always, always best to be honest from the retailer's end as it leads to the problems I see here..Honesty is always the best policy and no one should promise any furniture to be delivered in less than 4-6 months as that it this is the true timeframe. COVID has messed up so many things but in this case, it's the demand that is causing a backlog at the furniture factories. If you are told a much shorter delivery time, I would be very skeptical.
WORST FURNITURE store experience EVER ! When we were shopping in the store it took over an hour to get assistance, then when ordering our son’s mattress we were quoted one week it is now 3 weeks later I’ve called every week sense wondering where it is. Just to be told that it is there now (with an attitude) by the young woman who answered the phone and continued to go back and forth about it with my spouse when he was expressing our concerns about not being notified about our mattress at ALL . Then when asked if we could speak to a manager the young lady provided push back on that as well. As a PAYING customer you would expect a better experience than this, we will NEVER order anything from this establishment again and if they offered returns/ refunds we would have done that over dealing with such bad service.
This is the absolute worse store I have ever purchased anything from. Not only has my furniture not been delivered that was ordered in November and it’s no February, it has been pushed back 2 times with no notification from them. When I called and spoke to the manager Christina, she was rude, talked over top of me and was less then helpful!

Absolute worst experience. I recommend you do not believe their word on when your items will be delivered. They sold me an item on 9/13/2020. Still haven't received the item as of today. They rescheduled this delivery 4 times already. And now they are telling me it won't be available until mid February 2021. Beware they are selling furniture they don't have, collecting money from customers and making excuses for months. I will also report this to BBB next. Time to cancel this order.
They take your money and go radio silent about status of your order. While taking your order with upfront full pay, they don't have issue with pandemic or virus. It will be YOUR JOB T O FOLLOW UP YOUR ORDER STATUS. When you inquire, everything is delayed because of virus as if the tree that they get lumber got virus.That's how the business work WITH THIS STORE. 3 month and still waiting for my order to be delivered. Once is enough. DO NOT listen to the lead times they tell you. My wife and I ordered 4 different pieces in August and they keep pushing back the delivery time. Now they are saying March is when they will be delivered. They quoted us 2-6 weeks, and it's going to end up being minimum 6 months.
Bought a raw cliff sectional in august nothing but delays and fake promises and fake expected delivery dates. Customer service was good through the purchasing part, not so much to refund me my money and I had to wait a entire month. I went to my style furnishings in dover next to sams club & bought the same couch for 1500 vs 2100 at Ashley’s furniture they carry everything Ashley has but at a huge price difference for less exact same supplier. Getting the couch delivered this week bought it december 5.
It&'s been 4 months and I still don&'t have the furniture I&'ve ordered. They do not provide you with any updates about your furniture unless you come into the store and raise a fuss, because they do not answer the phone. Apparently the company is so disjointed that the store doesn&'t know or have any control of what is happening with shipping, customer service, or the warehouse and the same for any other department. The estimated dates are never even remotely firm. I went in at the beginning of Nov. for to check on a date and was told end of the month, went back in Dec after still not receiving anything or any updates and was again told end of the month.

It is going on 4 MONTHS since we ordered and they keep giving us &"estimated dates&" which just keep getting pushed back. They HARDLY EVER answer the phone when I call and the lady at the front desk is extremely unprofessional and rude. I even witnessed employees getting into a verbal altercation right in front of me. We are very dissatisfied and disappointed with Ashley Home Furniture. We paid for our couch in the beginning of November and we’re told 2-12 weeks on the delivery. It is is February 18th and we are now told we will not receive the couch till the end of March.... we have been very reasonable and understanding of the supply issues but I will not tolerate the level of rudeness displayed by their employees. Not only do they screen and avoid calls from us. (I’ve tested on other numbers) they basically tell us with attitude there’s nothing we can do. Little to no customer service training exists at this place. I am not someone who writes reviews... ever... this is how much this upset me and my fiancé as we are first time homebuyers still waiting on the one piece of furniture that brings our house together.
REALLY THEY GET 00000 stars!!! While I did like a &"sales person&" didn&'t pounce immediately upon entry hardly any of the furniture and NONE of the recliners had prices or any other tags with details!!! I went to counter to ask &"how do I find out prices and details&". Employee at counter said &"he could give me 50% off&" and is said &"off what, there are no prices on the furniture?&" I said they make it too difficult to shop here and left!!!
I couldn&'t be more disappointed in this location! As I love Ashley Furniture/products, what I value is honesty!! I would rather the sales person as well as the store Manger to be honest and tell me a piece or in my case (several pieces!) are on back order!! And tell me that they do not expect these pieces until mid October when I&'ve purchased in mid July!!! I had to get the runaround and finally call corporate, and a nice lady told me exactly the estimated dates of warehouse arrivals and delivery!!!! Purchase in July and delivery mid October!!!! When you weren&'t told upfront!!! Is absolutely outrageous!!! I would have chosen something else! But as long as the store makes there quota for the day right! And the salesman makes his commission right! This location doesn&'t care about the customer, it&'s all about there bottom line!
The staff as a whole was very pleasant and took the time to help us and answer each and every question. We worked closely with Frank it was an amazing experience. He made sure to not pressure us and walked us through the experience and made us feel like we were people not just a number. We bought a couch at this branch and were told that delivery will be after 2 weeks and we were fine with that. They came to our apartment the sectional won&'t fit the elevator. I asked the delivery guys if we can try to use the stairs instead and they checked the stairs and said it won&'t fit either, but this time they did not even try! What they did was just an estimate. These delivery people are not very helpful. Not even trying. I asked them if we could possibly detach a part of the couch and try to fit it in but they said NO. He then justified that he knows better because he&'s been doing this for 5 years, yeah right. These might be the same guys that has been delivering all Delaware and the reason why Ashley got 1 star. The customer service lady on the phone was not the nicest either, not helpful at all. It&'s like, it won&'t fit so we will take the furniture back. What a service. DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS FURNITURE STORE.

Our couches were falling apart, and we needed a replacement asap. Trea helped us to boil down to our specific needs and found us the perfect replacement sofa and loveseat combo.UPDATE: After checking the product at the Ashley HomeStore website, we found out that we'd been overcharged for both the furniture and the protection plan. I went to cancel the order and delivery, and they made me go into the store to begin the cancellation process (they won't cancel over the phone and then process a refund later). The sales guy there tried to hit me with 2 different sales recovery attempts before finally letting the cancellation go through.
Visited this location for the first time. Had previously shop at this store chain in Virginia with no disappointment. This store had a great floor samples selection, although space is smaller than previously stores visited. We were helped by Brent K. as our salesman. He was friendly and not pushy, gave us our space to shop and discuss at ease but reachable for any questions. They have a big self help shopping digital catalog for additional models not on display due to space. You can save the models of interest in a shopping cart but with no prices (that&'s a boomer). The salesman will give you the quotes and any sales discounts available in your selections. We had a budget which they were able to come down to. Delivery is available at $75 (covers installation until you are fully satisfied, great deal). Furniture delivery date is a bit long for our purchase so not sure if it&'s relevant to inventory. Overall, a good experience and priced at discount with room for negotiation.

We love Ashley&'s. The service is great and we always seem to find what we want and more. The furniture holds up and maintains its beauty. We bought a couch at Ashley&'s and 2 other family members bought the same couch. I still love it. Just bought another today in the prettiest blue color. My husband was looking for a recliner and found just what he wanted.
Have been to both stores in Newark and Bear. If you are not buying something that day salesman can not be bothered and will go to another customer. Even though there was barely anyone in the store. The delivery takes almost a month to receive even though they will say different. Shop there at your own risk. Those 5 star reviews seem like there from the same bot.
After months of full bedroom set shopping and other furniture outlets and stores I was about to give up and call it a day when I decided to give this store a look and boy was I happily surprised to see that they had exactly what both my husband and I wanted and needed! Not only was Brent the salesman very courteous, straightforward with answers to my questions but very helpful in assisting in offering us the best price for the beautiful porter bedroom set we purchased! I am so disappointed in the service at the Bear location. As a long time customer through many generations with Ashley&'s this store by far made me sick to my stomach to walk in or even drive by it. It all started when I got married to man of my dreams and moved to Delaware because of my husband&'s new job. Little did I know that the stuff was nothing like the service I and my family was used it. As a wedding gift my parents bought an bedroom set and table to eat at and a small coffee table and a set of love seats. The sells person was so helpful and kind and sold us the insurance on ever single item. He told us that the company would replace it or try to fix it without any questions. THIS WAS LIE. The bedroom came in 8 weeks and then a week later it broke they turned around and keep us waiting for almost a year to fix it. Then the loveseat started tearing we called they said we can&'t do anything for us. Waste of money my poor father has to pay because of lies the sells men told us.
I was in the market for some new living room furniture. As a mother of three, I needed something comfortable, durable, and within my budget. The sales associate, Brent, made sure I got exactly what I wanted and helped to get it within my budget. The financing consultant, Cyndy, was very courteous and got me approved within minutes. There was another associate, Darryl, who went above and beyond by volunteering to watch over my children while I finished with the paperwork and financing. I had a pleasant experience and would recommend Ashley Furniture for anyone&'s next furniture purchase.
I won&'t waste much time on this review. Stopped in about 6 years ago. Manager was a total ass in under 2 minutes flat. I pity the people that work for her Have not set foot back in the store since.
