Wow what a great experience! I had stopped by to look at beds and furniture. Bria was fantastic. She took her time with me and was able to answer many of my questions. She was very informative and helped me decide the perfect pieces that I needed. She was super nice, inviting and not pushy like a typical sales people. Her manager James was also extremely helpful and walked me through the entire purchase process. I would highly recommend Ashley Furniture Concord Pike!

Due to a poor experience at a store closer to home, we traveled more than 20 miles to visit the Wilmington, DE store. We had a great experience. Mya greeted at the door with a smile and a warm welcome. She took the time to seek out what we were looking for, and also pre-priced additional items. Once she completed her portion she passed us on to Raheim, who completed our transaction. He was also kind. Both Mya and Raheim interacted with us in a professional manner. We definitely will return to the Wilmington store to purchase the additional items that we are considering.
I don’t normally write reviews but for this I will make an exception. After leaving Bob’s discount furniture’s salesman shark tank, where my fiancé and I wasted 2 days trying to find the right couch with 3 different pushy, sleaze-ball salesman, we went next door to Ashley’s furniture feeling completely hopeless. After we had some time to look around we ended up with the most amazing experience of all because one of the staff members came to offer her help. Bria, probably the most personable, caring and friendly sales person we have ever met. It felt like we’d known her for years and she was just helping us find what we wanted, there was absolutely no push to sell us something, she offered all her knowledge and gave us plenty of different options but ultimately made it feel like it was still our decision (where Bob’s did NOT). And THEN we met her manager James who was just as fantastic. We won’t go to another furniture store as long as they are there!

Stop past Ashley furniture today meet with a wonder sales representative name Jacquelyn she took the time to make sure my purchase was specifically designed for me and that’s the most important aspect of sales. Jacquelyn spent time to learn how my body would react to the feel of a mattress not only did she make sure I was comfortable in the process but provided me with a blanket that was special and important to me. I went into Ashley's after being very discouraged after purchasing furniture from another furniture store because the furniture wouldn't fit through my door. Corinne was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the furniture at Ashley's. I gave her the dimensions of my door and she immediately showed me the Carnaby. I was so happy that is was identical to what I wanted. Corinne was polite, friendly, eager to help and easy to talk to about my furniture needs! Thank you so much Corinne for all your help!!🙏🤗🤍

I am giving one review because this is the worst service ever. I purchased a king bedroom set two months ago and I was told my things would be delivered on the 7th of August. I was moving into my apartment on the 1st and thought I would wait a few more days. The 7 of August came and passed without getting any information or call from Ashley Delaware branch. So I called and they were like sorry we don’t have all your bed materials but we will get them by the 25th and you should get your delivery the next day, I was pissed but tried to be an understanding customer (note it was my first time ordering from them). When the 25th came I did not get any call again and when I called I was told the delivery date had changed to the 12 of September, I was so pissed and asked for a refund or some sort of compensation because not only is it disrespectful that they don’t keep you updated when they change the delivery dates, they are unbothered by your concerns!!! Now the 12th is this Thursday and I just called today to make sure all is ready this time and you guessed right, they pushed it to the two weeks after the 12 again!!!!!!!! So like the 26! I just can’t! I will never ever purchase anything with Ashely no more cuz how should I call this? They is bad service, unreliability and bad customer service. Don’t buy from Ashley if you need your furnitures delivered in under 2 months! Leave at least 6 months to a year before ordering from these people!!!

My experience at Ashely Furniture was one of the best shopping experiences I’ve had in quite some time, and that is entirely thanks to an employee named Dean! Normally, I hate shopping in person and having a salesman following you around.. trying to get you to buy all sorts of things you don’t want. But Dean was the exact opposite! And I still left with a whole house worth of furnishings! He was so friendly, knowledgeable, funny and thankfully, quite patient! He was able to answer any and all questions or concerns I had. The entire team went above and beyond to accommodate myself and my mother, and I am just so appreciative of all of them. I would recommend this store and Dean to anyone looking to have a nice shopping trip!

From the time we saw the Holiday Sale Ad, called the store, inquired about the dining set, going to the store to view the floor model, working out a deal, ordering, arranging delivery, receiving the furniture 1.5 wks later, putting it together & setting it up - everything was effortless. Customer Service was top notch & extremely helpful! The Associate assisting us even remembered me from 4 yrs prior & making a special ordered purchase delivered 3 days before Thanksgiving. It doesn't get any better than this!!! (EXTREMELY SATISFIED CUSTOMER)

Buyers Beware Please Do Your Research And Shop Around Before Buying Anything From Ashley Furniture/Home-stores-Complete disappointment and dishonesty from this store and all other Ashley Homestores in the area, just look at the reviews from the cooperate site. They are lying and deceiving customers with a smile don't buy anything Ashley brand especially a mattress it won't be covered by a 90 day comfort policy. Go elsewhere you may pay extra but won't be subjected to second hand furniture with a big price tag that doesn't match the quality you have found in store, rather from a third party warehouse the company does not even represent. The sales staff was nice I can say that, unfortunately it was a fake scheme to just make a sale. Sadly I have lost all respect for the sales person who helped me and general manager. They have thrown up their hands to my late delivery date that was continuously delayed, hole in my wall from delivery driver falling through, and mattress that is not the same as promised. No communication after big purchases have been made. Don't think calling the store is going to help or going into the store will help either, sadly it will be more third party numbers provided to contact for help. Please find another company/store to do business with it will save you money and stress, however if you would like a Calvin Candie experience this is the place.

Store was nice, sales person was more intrested in his phone.Asked about delivery charge. He said we figure that at the end. Every question I asked he said it takes a bit to find out. Finally his boss. Female behind counter answered a couple of our questions. When I asked how much for couch and two chairs. He said my boss will figure it out, pulled out his phone sat down with it. We got a price hand written on a piece of paper, no break down. Before they gave it to us we had to give them our name and phone #. It apparently was too much work to answer our questions we went around the corner and purchased our from Furniture from Macy's. Ashley's called the other day to followup. Told them our story.

I had a great sales man assisting me at Ashley store that I had to write a review. He wasn’t the sales person that was initially helping me but he seem to be the person everyone in the store go to for questions cause he assisted and actually convinced me to purchase my sofa! He has patience and very polite, things you don’t see nowadays. I wish he was my sales person and had my sale personally cause he made the sale opposed to my non attentive sales person. But I will come back and ask for him by name. I believe his name is James he use crutches! Very nice man.

Horrible service, poor response from numerous outbound calls to resolve. I purchased furniture from this store and noted it needed to be delivered to a different address (vacation property). At first, no problem- paid for furniture in full at store including quoted delivery price. Contacted by the store to say they made a mistake and had furniture delivered to a local warehouse and that i would need to pay an additional $500 to get it delivered to the address they had listed on my invoice at time of purchase. Never spoke with a “manager” even after asking for that escalation. The person who did call me once (Laura) never returned any of my calls. Just received a call from Wayne saying that it would cost $500 to get it delivered - no apology, no service recovery. I asked for a refund of this purchase and i was told that i have to go into the store to process……they wouldnt even do that over the phone. Very disappointed with this whole transaction and will never spend another dollar in this store. Horrible experience.

If I could give zero stars I would . This store literally wasted my time and my family’s time . I live in Florida and was trying to buy a furniture set for my sister who has 14 children as a surprise as she hasn’t had new furniture in many years . She lives in Delaware and I called the store and explained exactly what I needed to do and they told me that the assistant store manager said it would be no problem at all to pay from Florida I would just have to send a family member in the store that lives in Delaware for fraud purposes . I then contacted my nephew and he drove over an hour to get there , his car broke down so my brother in law then had to meet him , and they finally got to the store . Now we paid for both vehicles for gas to get there and ofcourse food . They waited at the store for over two hours and still there was such a big confusion. Finally a manger comes to phone says she will take care of this and I will have an invoice sent to me to pay as now she had proof this wasn’t fraud . Today I get an invoice to pay and then was told I couldn’t use my Ashley’s card . I said what !!!!all day you wasted my time and everyone else’s time to today be told they can’t do this . The lady Maryjane at the store did not care of my concerns and the time and money I spent to get my nephew to the store for this sale to happen , she hung up on me . They obviously have no ideal what is going on. Then call Customer service they disconnect you all the time . I would never shop at Ashley’s furniture again . I then found a store in Dover furniture and more that was excellent . I was able to purchase from florida with just emailing my license for fraud protection. No hassle at all . Ashley is horrible customer service and this store absolutely has no idea what they are talking about at all . Then they tried to charge me 1000.00 dollars more than what the online price was . They will rip you off . Just beware when shopping here.
UPDATE: after getting a response on here that my message would be passed along to management NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME. I reached out yesterday to RAE who informed me she is no longer the manager but she would pass my message along . I still have not received the refund for the couch I was accidentally charged for , it's been over a month and I still have not gotten it. My complaint to the BBB was finally answered but it was very apparent who ever responded didn't look into anything at all. They said the couch was picked up . THAT'S IT, nothing about the money I'm owed. I even attached the receipt that showed the amount I was supposed to be refunded that was signed by RAE. I keep trying to call the store but no one will answer. This entire situation has been a horrible nightmare. I bought this couch right after I lost my baby hoping something would take my mind off the pain , but now every time I even look at that couch I'm reminded that all it has brought me is anger. No one should have to harass a store for their money back when it wasn't my fault. The sales woman put an extra piece of furniture on the order and I've been dealing with the ramifications of this ordeal for over two months. I guess I'm left no other option but to proceed with the police and court. I will be sharing this on every social media platform as well as passing this along to my sister who works at a Philly news station. Maybe if more people start asking why you are treating customers so terribly and stealing from them you'll be held accountable.

We were able to furnish our whole living room and bedroom for such a reasonable price with their help. We came as strangers and left feelings like family. Had to get a new couch and loveseat. Called there about available and was treated so well by the woman on the phone. A sales person called me in under an hour and helped though what I wanted and worked with me. I did have to go into to buy the pieces (not a big deal on my end at all) and when I got there the gentleman I talked to was super nice. The counter ladies were great with helping me get checked out and all was well. Was delivered in a two day by two very capable guys who were very cordial and polite. And set it all up for me. Kudos.
Had a great experience. Purchased outdoor furniture. Beautiful and looks more expensive than it was. Rae the store manager was so lovely and very helpful and knowledgeable. Her staff at check out was friendly too! Highly recommend.
Unfortunately I have to update my review. The fabric on the sofa has rubbed off and stains blankets and clothing. We purchased the additionally warranty and we are still under a year. It has been awful trying to get help to have the sofa fixed. We purchased furniture from multiple store for our new house. They only items we have had issues with are from Ashley. I will never purchase anything from there again, definitely not quality items.
finally after 20 phone calls to four different numbers (not an exaggeration) I got a part replaced under warranty for a bar stool. customer service should not be this difficult and off shore call centers don't make it any easier. happy with my chairs but, if I can help it, won't buy from ashley again.

We ordered our furniture in February and were told it would be in in 8 to 12 weeks. We had a partial delivery for our kitchen table and counter stools in April. It is now August and we are missing our entire bedroom suite and two sets of bunk beds. Called a few weeks ago and was told I only needed the footboard and ladder for delivery. It would be in by August. Called today and was told I am missing pretty much my entire set and the bunk beds now. They used MY furniture to fulfill another order since we were still missing the ladder and footboard. Now I have only the one set of bunk beds. Now they are saying MAYBE November! I am beyond furious.

Update to rating....we purchased our furniture paid over $8,000 up front in full and waited for 1.5 months for delivery. To only be told that they do not deliver in our area. They expected my husband and I to drive 3 hours and 14 mins to there warehouse and pick up a living room set which would need to be assembled. After being back and forth about having the furniture delivered they finally got approval from higher ups to deliver to us only to again to placed at a stand steal of a schedule date because they had to wait for a certain vehicle (truck) to be available that was 2 weeks ago. My husband and i finally got so frustrated we request that our money be returned....they told us we would receive the funds for up to 21 days because of their billing cycle. U didn't wait 21 days to cash the check I wrote.....when in Delaware stay away from Ashley furniture Home store.

We felt very uncomfortable in the store. We were approached by our salesman. Told him we were just looking and he followed us everywhere we went. Finally after the fifth time of him approaching us in about ten minutes, my husband had to tell him to leave us alone. His appearance was not what we would expect a salesperson to look like. And we are required to wear a mask in the store but he wore his under his chin. I know his name but I don't want to embarass anyone. The woman at the desk was very friendly when we did have a question. That's why we gave two stars instead of one.

I bought a 3 piece set in 2019. I have been battling customer service for months as there is a rip in the seam that’s a “manufacturing defect” that Ashley’s won’t take responsibility for nor will the warranty company I paid $300 for for a 5 year protection plan. Young male manager at Wilmington office laughed in our faces at the thought we would expect them to have their repairs team fix it because in his eyes the couch is old after 2.5 years. He said “we’re just a show room”suggesting that after you purchase your couch, they’re done working with you. The couches I purchased have been kept in perfect condition by me otherwise. Don’t expect whatever you buy to last and all the warranties they offer are BS— they’re just going to find a way to reject your claims.

Not quite what was expected with the prices, however the staff were courteous.
Whatever your plans are, do not buy it from this store. To start, the store manager is not trained in articulation nor she understands how to resolve an issue. We were delivered an incomplete bed and she refused to help, refused to take the bed back, washed her hands off saying its a "manufacturing problem" and they cannot help. We have been bounced off between customer service and store without any resolution. We have bought Ashley furniture before and so I am saying please do not do business with this store as there is No Customer Service. If I can could give them 0, I would have.
After receiving my furniture delivery and having the delivery men identify a damaged piece, I was initially disappointed that 3 days later, no one had contacted me about the replacement. Upon contacting this store location, I was sincerely grateful for the above and beyond assistance of Mary Jane. Not only did Mary Jane take down the information but she contacted the warehouse directly to request that my replacement be scheduled immediately. Within less than an hour, I received several calls to schedule the delivery of my replacement...this week!!! Mary Jane was a miracle worker and is truly an asset to this store and the company. Customer service is VERY IMPORTANT and Mary Jane takes that responsibility SERIOUSLY!! THANK YOU MARY JANE!!

Furniture order was never delivered after being scheduled on 2 different days with no-show and no heads up on order not coming. Wasted 2 full days waiting for something that never came. Decided to cancel order but after month still have not seen the refund back to my card. TERRIBLE BUSINESS!!
I ordered a bedroom set in April and the nightstands came via fedex in two days. The rest of it they said would arrive June 8. I scheduled time off work for that day and a week before that date they rescheduled for June 28. I again took time off work for that new date. I called two days prior to that date to reconfirm that it was coming that day and they told me yes and that they’d come between 8-12. That window came and went and no one showed up. I called and was told that they had cancelled my delivery and would not be delivering it today. I told them I can’t keep taking time off work for furniture that never comes and I needed it today or a full refund. Several hours on the phone later with various people being put on hold forever, transferred, or hung up on, I ended up canceling the order and now I have to wait for them to get back to me about how I’m going to be refunded for the nightstands which have been sitting here for over two months and I’m betting they’re going to try to steal from me and not refund me. I put in a complaint with the BBB and will never do business with them ever again.
I want to put -10 stars. Getting a hold of someone is impossible. The phone keeps ringing. No one online can help and no communication throughout the organization. The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Get your sh*t together and run a decent business. I will make an effort to tell everyone I know never to buy from Ashley, especially the Bear, De location.
I want to start of by saying if I could I would close every Ashley furniture store. They have the worst customer service. The number to the store just rings. The app doesn’t work. You can’t track your over. I had a delivery scheduled for today from 1pm-5pm. I stayed home till 6pm. Never got a call saying we are not coming. Want to the store they couldn’t help me. I couldn’t even cancel my order. Keep in mind this is my third time to this store about this delivery. I have to come back on Monday. Ashley furniture does not respect their customers. They just take your money and blame it on COVID or the delivery service they use. I would rather sit in hell with the devil and make a couch from scratch before I shop at Ashley furniture ever again. -
I bought over $6k from this store. When they delivered my bed I told the person it seemed too small. He said "you can call and they get you another bed" they refused to help. 2 years later that $3k bed sits unused in my house. #worse #neveragain#scammed.. shameful for sure.
I do not recommend working with this location. It has been over 5 months and I still have not received my sofa. I understand Covid has impacted production and delivery times. My issue is the lack of communication—when shipment is delayed, I am not notified. Also, to get someone to answer the phone at the store, I have to call 5 times in a row. The mailbox has been full for months. For 5 months I have been given empty answers of “we’ll email the warehouse” and no additional follow up with me. When I call again, I’m told the warehouse hasn’t responded to the previous email so they’ll try again. Clearly this isn’t working. Every time they promise to call me back, they never do. The lack of communication and consideration for their customers is inexcusable.
Staff was helpful and helped to confirm a custom order a few times, to ensure we had the correct information. Furniture all over is on longer than usual delays, so an issue with our furniture will make a 3 month delay, 6 months. Much appreciated!
Went yesterday and had to hunt down a salesperson who ended up being so patronizing, smarmy and condescending that I decided this place will NOT get my money. Will be following up to speak with a manager (pulling out the Karen, I know). Many pieces on display not working properly or falling apart. Be aware that prices in these places do not match the website, but if you shop in Secane, they will match the website and have AWESOME customer service. We ended up traveling to another Ashley and buying there right after. Avoid this location!!!
Don't order from here. They charged my credit card in full the day I purchased the furniture but didn't schedule the delivery for over a month. My delivery window was scheduled from 3:00-7:00, it's now 9:00 PM and no delivery. I called the store at 7:00 and they said the delivery is still coming tonight. I'm ready to go to bed. This is terribly inconsiderate and I'll never or from Ashley again or recommend them to anyone.
When I walked in and was greeted by a salesperson wearing a mask on their chin I should have turned around. Minutes later they are coughing while too close and the mask on their chin. 3 out of 4 sales people were wearing a mask under their chin? Really? It's 2021. Just left after a couple minutes.
If giving zero stars was an option that is what I would give this store WITHOUT a doubt. The only person who has a clue what they are doing is Cindy at the front desk. My boyfriend and I purchased a sectional on 7/21/20. After being told month by month it was being pushed back we are now into December to find it was pushed back until January, (which who even knows if we would get it then). Yes, you read correctly over 5 MONTHS ago. I recently spoke with Cindy, only to find out that the STORE had made a huge MISTAKE. The sectional we paid for was entered incorrectly by ASHLEY FURNITURE. We learned the sectional comes in 4 pieces, and we were informed they put in 2 pieces as one color and the other 2 in a completely different color. (I mean common sense but who would want a couch with 2 different colors??) Following this mistake we were again informed the correct version of our sectional was not put in until 9/7/20. After wasting 7 weeks of our time, the store manager Scott Cartwright has not done a single thing to make this right. He has no clue what he is doing nor does he know how to communicate affectively with customers. He offered us 100 dollars which was told to us through Cindy since Scott conveniently can never speak on the phone because he is with customers or apparently &"calls out sick&". My boyfriend and I are so disappointed about our experience with the store, and feel as if they did not do anything to make us feel better about any of this process. At the end of all this Scott said our only option was to cancel the order to receive a full refund. I feel as if his easy way out was to cancel our order and get rid of us. I am sadden to know that a successful business like Ashley Furniture allows customers to be treated this way.The day we purchased our furniture the sales rep repeatedly said &"how can Ashley Furniture earn your business&", with that said this situation is how you have completely lost it.

Given the time spot between 3pm-7pm on a rainy day. The delivery happened at 6:35 in the dark and mud. The couch was fine regardless and I love the piece. However, the delivery company left all the trash on the side of my house. Boxes left out in the rain, the plastic coverings flying around. This was unacceptable especially because paying for delivery was a big expense in itself. I was polite the entire time but this seems a little unacceptable given the amount I&'m spending on the couch and delivery.

Worst couch I ever bought. I bought the Fielder set and it’s HORRIBLE. It just turned a year old are I’m on couch number 2. And this one needs to be replaced too. Ashley sells overpriced products made from particle board not solid wood. I didn’t even want to give 1 star but that’s the least they will let you rate it. Ohh and the cushions don’t last either that’s another story all together. WASTE OF MONEY PLAIN AND SIMPLE
Ordered a Tempurpedic mattress and box spring and they can’t seem to deliver it. It was supposed to be delivered between 3:00PM and 7:00PM on Saturday, 10/17/2020. Delivery dispatch called me at 8:25PM saying the drivers are behind and will get to my address at 10:00PM. I call the dispatch number and he is telling me that he cannot get in touch with his drivers and that the ETA is 12:46AM now Sunday morning. To say the least, they did not make it. I’m trying to call the store in Wilmington, DE but the stores mail box is full and no one answers the phones. Really upset at this point!
I HATE them. Their customer service is poor. My couch has been delayed over 4 times and the only reason I know that is because I had to call them. I spoke with someone on the 8th of october and she said she would call me back that day and NEVER did. I called and spoke with the manager in duty and expressed my concerns all she said is &"ok, come get a refund.&" EXTREMELY disappointed.

However, a month and a half later I have heard zero on my new table even after reaching out multiple times. Ashley furniture is not worth the price and definitely not worth the headache. We ordered a King bed with everything beginning of last month 6th of August, first we were told we will be getting our bed within 22nd of the August now today is 17th of September and we were told we will not be getting our bed till sometime in early October but still there is no guarantee, apparently there is national shortage of mattresses. Now when I was upset as I should be and wanted to speak to the Manager, I was told that there is no Manager right now and I have to call back again to speak to him in Saturday. Also only he can authorize if I want to cancel. I like to add that I never said I wanted to cancel but the customer service said it is out of their control and I can cancel if I want. First of all please understand how customer service work. If I purchase something from your store and you cannot keep your promises I am going hold you responsible not your supplier. I did not buy it from your supplier and their mistake is not my issue. If you cannot help try to make me better not drive me away. Horrible

Never again!!!! We bought a fake fireplace and a coffee table/end table set. The latter was the floor display which we are picking up. We had originally picked a large wall clock (overpriced) but we were trying to reach a certain $ amount to get the financing, and while waiting for the salesperson to get back to us, we realized the clock hands were broken and just spinning freely. He tried to convince us that it would still keep time....(no, it wouldn’t have!) so we ended up choosing some over priced lamps. Next thing you know the guy finally comes from the back, I swear it was at least 15min after we told him we didn’t want the broken clock, but that we were going to get the lamps, he says he’s got a clock new out of the box. We said no, we just want to get out of there! I sign the small paper receipt, but I added everything on my calculator and confirmed with the exasperated desk clerk, we go home and two days later looked at the invoice and they charged us $20 for shipping!! Not for delivery, but for shipping the fireplace from THEIR warehouse to THEIR store!!!🤬 we are going to pick up the tables tonight, and they better take that $20 off my fkng bill!!! I feel like canceling this order🤬 their furniture is way overpriced, there was a lot of secretive talk between the salesman and the cashier, I felt very suspicious of them because they couldn’t figure out something about our charges and a lot of whispering and pointing at the computer screen was going on. After over 6 weeks of waiting for the fireplace I called to cancel, I spoke to Lamont the manager because I also wanted to complain about the bogus shipping charge and cancel the overdue order. He told me we couldn’t cancel on the phone and that we had to come in to the store and then when I complained about the shipping charge, he hung up on me!!🤬So back down to Delaware we went. The woman called the manager, Lamont, and I am not exaggerating, he walked up behind the woman, reached down for something off the desk and then walked away to the back of the store. THAT apparently was the approval to make the cancellation! He was one of the most arrogant individuals that I’ve ever had to deal with. He apparently thinks he’s a king or something because he’s a manager at a furniture store😂I refer to him as loser Lamont. What kind of sleaze place is this??? They were worse than Raymour & Flanagan! And they were pretty bad! They are way overpriced but when you need extended financing, you’re at their mercy.
To the employees on Route 202 - I’m not sure if you all were having a bad day, but no matter what you’re going through try to remember to greet customers. We just walked through the store and no one said hello and no one asked if we needed any help. We have purchased furniture from Ashley before - THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE HAVE BEEN MADE TO FEEL AS THOUGH OUR BUSINESS WAS UNWANTED.

Do not fall for 60% SALE which is a sale on overrated price making customers fools. 'ERIC' bad representative who does not have etiquettes to behave. He Inquired my country of origin and misbehaved with my family and spoke rudely. All this happenned infront of Manager who was just audience.

Prices are nearly DOUBLE then what is online. They claim they are a franchise and that the prices listed are why items &"should&" sell for but that they will discount for you. They inflate because they want to &"earn&" your business. I continued to ask for them to explain why every item online is less they could only say cause they are a franchise. I said so the prices I see online you will go even lower? He said depends on the item. I could not in good conscience purchase anything from this store knowing that good people are being taken advantage that don&'t know any better. I&'m crying because it&'s just so wrong.

Now, 18 months later our king size bed collapse when my husband was sitting to put on shoes. The " 5 year warranty " we were sold is a joke and basically covers scratches and dents. Ashley furniture has refused to reimburse us the cost of the warranty and/or stand behind their product. Customer service is a joke too. TERRIBLE! In my opinion, the quality of furniture sold here is HORRENDOUS. My bed completely COLLAPSED on one side after 18 months, due to the screws literally falling out of the side railing. When I bought the furniture, the salesman represented to my wife and I that the 5 year protection plan would cover the furniture for damage. Come to find out, the 5 year warranty barely covers anything. My warranty claim was denied. Ashley Furniture, then, DID NOT STAND BEHIND its' products, and did they declined to replace the broken piece. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE HERE!

Kimberly was a huge help as my husband and I chose furniture for our new home! We had done some research and she was able to get us quick prices and answered all of our questions. We were so glad we were able to buy everything we wanted in one trip and Kimberly went above and beyond to make sure we were able to find what we wanted and that the process was quick and easy. The manager and customer service representative that helped us with financing were equally excellent. We will be back for more!
My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of purchasing furniture with Kimberly. She is the best at what she does. She&'s not one of those average sales people who just want to make a sale. She truly cares about what makes her clients happy, including the price!! We came back 4 times and each time she was there to assist us in whatever we had inquired about until we finally made up our minds. Furniture shopping is such a tedious process, but she made it 10x easier/enjoyable. Not only do we appreciate Kimberly, but the entire staff at Ashley&'s was very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back in the near future!
We were very pleased with the choice of fabric color, style, and the price was just right! The office manager Scott was very accommodating with the delivery date... due to that we had no furniture to sit on for a week, which made me extremely happy! It was a great experience. I was forced to have selected one star. I have never in my life experienced such difficulty after purchasing a full bedroom set. It took over six months for them to finally get everything right and the management at the store was just as difficult to deal with. On behalf of new management they finally was able to help me out but the damage was done already because of how long it took and how many trips I had to make back to the store to try to get everything corrected. It’s a shame because they have nice furniture but after purchasing and having the wait so long I highly recommend that you go somewhere else to purchase your furniture. I never give negative feedback but I have to just warn everyone who is about to make a purchase at this particular store. Please take my advise and buy somewhere else. This store’s new management has finally helped me get the furniture that I’ve wanted. It should never take over six months to get a product that you have ordered and paid in full. Buyer beware
Eric was so accommodating to me the minute I walked in the door and help me quickly pick out a sectional during the Presidents' Day sale. He was willing to work with me on my budget and arranged for a quick delivery within two weeks. The sectional couch was exactly what I needed and he helped me determine the right configuration to fit in my house. I cannot say enough great things about him and please recognize him for the amazing salesman that he is for the company!!
This was my first time at Ashley HomeStore - and I&'m really glad I decided to check it out! Kimberly was so patient (I am extremely indecisive and my mother doesn&'t help lol). They were more than accommodating and I was able to pick out my new living room sofa and loveseat! Even the checkout process was smooth. The staff was so polite and kind! The store itself has a nice selection. Even after leaving, Kimberly called a few days after to keep me updated about the delivery and what to expect. Not long after, another very kind lady called to schedule my delivery. Thanks for the smooth experience!
Both Hector and Scott were tremendous help in selecting the best furniture for my bedroom. They listened to my needs and recommended just what I needed. Hector was esp helpful with his advice on the type of mattress I needed. Job well done guys!
DO NOT SHOP HERE! I would give them zero stars if I could. These people are criminals and will screw you over and laugh about it. We saw the bad reviews and so naively thought that our experience would be different. Take a good look at any of the positive reviews - all of them were written right after leaving the store. Give it a couple weeks and I guarantee they will all turn negative. We lost a ton of money to this scam and ended up having to purchase new furniture from Raymour and Flannigan instead (who were absolutely fantastic). STAY AWAY!
This store is the worst!!! They dont tell you that if you pick up the couch it voids "manufacture malfunctions" and then they wont back their product.
The ordering process was the easiest part. Had our new living room furniture delivered on September 14th and by late November the couch had already broke. Also they delivered an end table that didn&'t shut completely. Took till January for them to send someone out to &"fix&" the couch. I asked for my money back with Frank and was told that&'s not possible. A few weeks ago they exchanged the end table for only to deliver on that has the bottom drawer on the wrong side. This furniture is complete junk and it&'s made of particle board. The kicker is since they &"fixed&" my couch now the other side is sinking fast. I didn&'t think I was buying cheap furniture but apparently I have been had.
The worst customer service, damaged merchandise, no refund, exchange, will send someone out to repair. How do u fix a cracked tabletop? Went up the consumer ladder (approx 12 hours on the phone.) Someone came out and glued the top, glue splatter on top and area not even closed. Called BBB, they told them I cracked the table and they fixed as a courtesy
We were in a need of a new sofa sectional. After speaking with Ashley's sales member Eric, he assured us we made the right choice on the sectional we picked. Eric worked with his manager to ensure we were getting a great deal for the President's Day Sale. Checkout and delivery was a breeze and we couldn't be more excited to get our sectional delivered! This won't be the last piece of furniture we buy from Ashley's!
We went in just to look and Orlando was the first person to greet us. He was FANTASTIC. Helped us find exactly what we we're looking for and was so knowledgeable about everything Will definitely be back and will be asking for him.
While I didnt purchase anything from the store when I was there, the customer service was excellent. I had just left Raymore and Flanagan and I felt like I was at a car dealership there being watch and followed everywhere I went with a sales associate who would not shut up. I cant say enough about how pleasant the experience was here.
A friend of mine bought a new sofa and when he unwrapped it, to place it in his living room it was all damaged and you can't even SIT on it, They called the manager and said that they are stuck with the sofa after they spent their hard earned money on it, He is a disabled Vet and this treatment is an absolute disgrace! They need to make good on this, Or I will go to the local news stations, Terrible and I will NEVER buy from them

My Father is a Veteran!!! & Disabled,,, they bought a sofa there, was given to them, when they got home, they put the sofa in the garage for one day and decided to shampoo the carpet, and paint the wall, before bringing the sofa in, when they took the plastic off the sofa which was stapled to the bottom of the sofa, The entire sofa was crushed and the material was ripped all the way up the back, you cannot even sit on the sofa!!!! We first noticed this and brought it back to the store, the manager said he needed to talk to his boss, and refused to even look at it, when the manager came back two days later he said it had been 48 hours!! There&'s nothing we can do! You should&'ve looked at it before you took it! My Father is a 30 year Navy veteran that is disabled!!! He couldn&'t tear the plastic off the bottom and check, plus it&'s brand new why would it be smashed and ripped like that! The Sales employee actually told my Father the company is bad, and recommended them to go to yelp and any other social media outlet! Please do not support this company! I can&'t believe this can go on in 2020 Ashley furniture should be ashamed of themselves I now will fully check out a company before making a big purchase from now on,,, Ashley Furniture has a HORRIBLE rating, & all the reviews for the most part are one star&'s, with similar stories!!!

I will make this a simple read. I placed an order for a sectional and television stand with a fireplace on 11/27/19 to be delivered 12/14/19. I received a call the following week stating that the television stand had been dropped and broken at the warehouse. The rep went on to tell me that I needed to pay $130 more dollars to replace this item. I asked to speak with the manager(Lamont)to clear up this matter(clearly the customer should not be held responsible for an accident in a company warehouse)and was assured that the manager(Lamont)would reach back out to me. No response from the manager...I went into the store a few days later on my day off to talk to him(because his word and integrity must not mean a whole lot to him). We agreed upon a new television stand and fireplace priced with the original price....which ultimately caused more issues with the order for the sectional, that I will not even get into! It's now 1/22/20 and on delivery day I receive the wrong item. Completely wrong item... I reached out to(Lamont)today 1/22/20 looking for a resolution and left a clear message stating what actions would be taken with no response from Lamont. Why does the manager(Lamont)still work at this location with so many poor reviews? I've worked in customer service all of my adult life. I've never seen someone get away with such disrespect towards the customer(s). Maybe I didn't make it a simple read...I will take whatever action necessary to see that this NOT happen someone else!

After losing everything to a fire, we were not looking forward to having to rebuy all of our furniture. Pushy sales people, not finding what we like, being pushed into more expensive this than we wanted to buy. None of this was the case at Ashley. We walked into a beautiful showroom with a friendly staff who were willing to be of service, but also give us space. We got the pleasure of working with James Aggie who I would highly recommend. Update!!!!! The first experience was great, but everything after has been a nightmare. The movers not only put huge gashes in my wall, but they delivered the wrong stools for my kitchen. It has been over a month now and they will not pick up to return. Everytime I try and call the store I get blown off and no store member will return any of my calls. This is a horrible situation and don't recommend at all.

The Ashley HomeStore in Delaware was wonderful. Everything is displayed nicely and the employees are not pushy. They are there if you need help, but they do not pressure you. We found our whole bedroom set and included a mattress. We are very excited to receive it soon!
Updating my review based on the fact that the mattress ended up not working out and there is no return policy. Delivery took 2-3 weeks and now stuck financing a bed that ended up not being a comfortable long term solution. Slept on this for a week with a dust mite cover, basically brand new condition.
I just purchased two sofa's for our family room and Hecter was our sales person. He never made me feel rushed or stressed. I would recommend Hector to anyone who goes their to purchase anything.
A simple mistake was made with our order, and weeks later I was sent a sofa/loveseat set in two different colors. The salesman was great to work with while at the store, and trying to help us find a solution to replacing the incorrect item. My review is based solely on how the store manager is unwilling to do anything to compensate us for the error, as we will be hosting family for the holidays without half of our seating. Hopefully I can come back and change this review if he decides that Ashley Furniture values its customers and prioritizes customer service. I had intended to come back and purchase additional furniture, but I’m extremely hesitant based on my current situation.
I would give them zero starts if that's possible, purchased furniture in July and the arms on my chair and a half are collapsing and customer service tells me that's not covered under warranty after they transferred me to 10 different phone numbers. Don't trust this company they clearly don't know what's written in there warranties.
Absolutely the worst customer service ever!!! Ordered cushions two month ago...was given the run around for a month after numerous phone calls (never returned) finally got in touch with the manager who is DREADFUL, only for him to tell us we had to go to the store to order. PAID in full to then wait around for another month with the same outcome, went to store again for them to then tell us they had no idea what happened and that our order- which was supposed to be delivered to our home was actually going to the store and they weren’t sure why. The manager told us we would be getting a refund plus the money back for delivery fee, called- 13 times to be hung up on each time with NO help whatsoever!! When we went to see what the heck was happening there were two employees at the desk (one was the manager) who had apparently no time for us as he had his eyes closed for a good 15 minutes while we just stood there waiting for an answer!! So so so awful I would NEVER recommend anyone buying anything from this Ashely!!!
DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!On 3/30/19 I purchased the Tyler Creek dining set with 6 chairs which came with a 1 year manufacturer&'s warranty, but also purchased a 5 year extended protection plan. We took delivery in late April 2019. In September 2019 we saw that multiple chairs had peeling finishes and cracked wood as well as the veneer finish on the table top peeling away. We called the service number and they told us to call GBS (the protection plan company) which we did. GBS dispatched a technician who told me that the cracked chairs and peeling finish were manufacturing defects and would require replacement and said that I would be hearing back from GBS in a few days. Two weeks later, after not hearing back, I called GBS and was told that since the technician determined that the issues were a manufacturer&'s defect, they could no longer assist me. I called Ashley Homestore and spoke to someone who had me submit photos by email for review which I did. Again after not hearing back from them, I called again, had to resubmit the same photos to Courtney at Ashley which I did again. I finally received an email from Courtney stating that they had reviewed the photos and determined that it was not a manufacturer&'s defect and she directed me to call GBS. I asked for a manager to speak to at this point because I informed Courtney that GBS would not help as they determined that it WAS a manufacturer&'s defect. After a few days, I got a phone call from Shelby at Ashley Homestore who told me that my issues were not covered under their warrantee as the warrantee only cover mechanical issues (which is in direct contradiction to the warrantee card attached to the furniture which clearly states that finishes and wood issues are covered for 1 year). After multiple calls and emails, after multiple submissions of photos, after a technician was dispatched, saw the damage and determined first hand that the issues are manufacturing issues, no one at Ashley will help. I tried calling Ashley&'s corporate number and was told that since Delaware is a franchise state, that corporate has no say in how they handle anything. I am now left with a damaged table and chairs (that are only 8 months old) that are supposedly still under warrantee, a paid for extended protection plan that won&'t fix the issues, and I am out the money for both with neither the warrantee company (GBS) nor Ashley Furniture willing to either make good on repairs or refund my money.
We stopped there after another place fell through on furniture and they had what I needed, John B and cyndy were very friendly and helpful and got me a great price on not only the furniture but delivery as well.
I’m usually reading reviews before hand, but I truly slipped this time. And only god knows. EVERYONE is complaining about the same thing. I will NEVER shop at this place again! Ordered my dining room set on Nov18 and here it is Dec 5th and still NOTHING! Something is wrong with this company.
Had an incredibly poor experience working with this Ashley franchise in Wilmington, DE. I had a couch I ordered in November miss not one, but two delivery dates as communicated by the store. I did not receive a phone call or email either time informing me of the delay, and I had made arrangements to take off of work both times. Both times I had to initiate contact with the store to get a status update, and both times I had to drive into the store, as the phone was constantly unanswered. Customer service reps were nonchalant and lacking empathy during these frustrating experiences, and the customer service fell massively short. With competitors offering shipping in 2-3 days, it is inexcusable to have wait times of a month or longer, especially without giving tracking information or a courtesy phone call to the customer in the event of a delay. Some of this I understand is out of their control, as delays in the Warehouse / Shipping process are unavoidable - but other basic tenants of service such as the Customer Experience and communication fall solely on the store. And here they came up massively short. As a store, it is their responsibility to own the customer experience from purchase to delivery, and failure to communicate delays, answer calls, empathize, and take ownership of issues both in and out of their control ensure this place will never get my business again. I strongly advise other customers avoid this store and the massive headaches a purchase here entails.
I've been looking for a new mattress for a while now and finally stopped into a store to try them out. Hector was incredibly personable and helped me find the perfect one for me - without feeling stressed or hassled, like most stores would make you feel. Finding a new mattress was easy and I'm excited for better sleep! TY Ashley service!

I hope people read the reviews about this place before deciding to shop here. Ashley furniture home store is terrible! I ordered furniture from them at the end of September, it is almost the end of November and I still haven't received my order! I waited for about a week without an update, when I called them they said it would take up to 4 weeks for my order! (Were they building it from scratch??) Six weeks and many calls later, they try to deliver when no one is home without calling prior to delivering! Then they keep insisting on delivering at a time that I've clearly told them no on would be home. I guess the universe is warning me to cut my losses and run! Plus they are so nonchalant and combative when you complain. Never again will I do business here!

We had a great experience today buying a love seat and sofa. Hector was our sales person and did a great job and very knowledgeable without stalking us the whole time. Great personality and good sales person. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
I wish I could give 0 stars. I will NEVER order anything from this store again. We waited over 2 months to receive our bedroom set. We set a date for it to be delivered, my husband and I do not have a typical 9-5 schedule, so he had to take off of work to be home for it. They told us our shipment would be delivered between 9-3 and we said we had to leave the house by 3 for a doctors appt. They called and told us they were close and would arrive by 140p. At 2:55 the delivery crew arrived, opened all of the boxes and told us they didn’t have all of the pieces so they couldn’t set it up. The customer service agent, Fauna was called and I could hear her screaming at my husband from downstairs to refuse the order. This would’ve taken another 20 minutes to pack everything up at least and load it onto their truck. We had to leave and had the delivery men leave what they had brought in. We called her back and she was screaming at us on the phone telling us that we weren’t supposed to do that, and going on completely unprofessional. We came home from my appt to a bedroom with pieces of furniture everywhere. They didn’t send the bed posts, and sent us box springs instead of the adjusting platform that we paid for. We have no idea when we will receive the missing parts. To top it off we are MISSING AN IPHONE 8! Brand new, in the box, stolen by one of the workers out of my husband’s closet. I am just sick to my stomach.
Melissa helped us buy a mattress today. She was very professional, helpful, and friendly. We went to buy more furniture but prices were a little high, even with their specials. Otherwise we had a great experience and would recommend this store to others.
I am so upset at myself for not reading the reviews below before I purchased almost 10k worth of furniture. I knew I should have not gone through with purchasing my items for my first house. The customer service... HANDS DOWN THE WORST experience I have ever had with a company. Both the Conshohocken and Wilmington, Delaware stores are completely awful. The woman who answered the phone and also took our order was horrible, rude and defensive. I'm sorry, but we are spending 10 grand in your flipping store and being that this is me and my fiancé’s first time buying furniture for our first home, the least you could do is stop huffing, puffing, rolling your eyes when we asked questions and responding with rude, snide remarks. For example, I called to confirm that we will receive a phone call 24 hours prior to our delivery date (our friends just told us that they neglected to call them to schedule a delivery time with them and when my FRIENDS, mind you, my friends not the store, called and asked what time that should be expecting delivery for their items... Ashley's said oh sorry your items are not in the warehouse so you're going to have to wait a week for your items.) The lady responded, "I wouldn't be calling you if your items weren't in the warehouse". Like...seriously. There was no need for that. Then they delivered our items yesterday and did not have our box springs, nor our tv stand, which I do not mind. But you neglected to tell us that our tv stand was damaged in the store that morning. Oh....and that we did not have a box spring on our order when I clearly...had the box springs on my invoice that was given to me when we ordered our furniture. Our new couch...that was delivered yesterday has rips and tears on it, so that was yet another fantastic thing to discover. I called the Wilmington location to figure out what is going on with my box springs and tv stand and I got the same lady on the phone. She said she will tell her boss and have him call us back....this was at 10:46 a.m. Have yet to receive a phone call by 6:00 p.m. So I called, was transferred to the manager and he said that he was never notified about my phone call. So...currently still waiting to hear back about my tv stand and box springs. It is so awesome to have a brand new bed with no box spring. I will never, ever go back to this store again. This company sucks, customer service sucks and I am appalled by the way they treat their customers. I don't care if I spent only $100 bucks, they still should not be treating their customers like this. I'm disgusted. UPDATE: 10/11/19 They forgot to tell the bank to apply the 60 month interest free promotion to my account...so i've been charged interest for two months. Glorious.

Called the store many time with no answer and a "full mailbox" First time shopping in this furniture store & will be my last. Going to go there in person and cancel my order. Such an inconvenience.

We called them multiple times and they promised different dates each time. We had to leave work to wait for the furniture to arrive but it never did. James was very rude to us on the calls. He also did not provide any clarity on the delivery. They scheduled the delivery 3 times (which never really delivered anything), and later we found out the items were not in stock in the warehouse. Not sure what they were trying to deliver. We even paid multiple visits to the store. The manager LAMONT (I would highlight his name), shared his number and assured me he would make the delivery possible as soon as possible if I called him the next day. This was all a scam. He disconnected my calls and never responded to even texts once he realized it was me. He did not even have the audacity to call back, knowing I was a customer. We are utterly disappointed in Ashley and do not plan on making any more future purchases here. Please shop here only if you are ready for a series of follow ups with the worst customer service.

The manager LAMONT (I would highlight his name), shared his number and assured me he would make the delivery possible as soon as possible if I called him the next day. This was all a scam. He disconnected my calls and never responded to even texts once he realized it was me. He did not even have the audacity to call back, knowing I was a customer.We are utterly disappointed in Ashley and do not plan on making any more future purchases here. Please shop here only if you are ready for a series of follow ups with the worst customer service.

Prices cheaper on internet was told all businesses have different prices from store and internet had to go to store for refund they would not.do this over the phone a lot of deception
Received furniture a week later than I was told and then at that it was received damaged so I refuseed the furniture !! When I asked for the order to be cancelled I was advised I would have to pay a 30% restocking fee There was no Manager available to speak to so they said !! I was told nothing they could do for 24 hours intill the Furniture got back to the warehouse and then I would receive a call very very very poor customer service !!!!!!!! So don’t shop at that store !!!!!!!

These guys are horrible!!!!! Frauds to say the least. They are quick to take your order but they will NOT deliver what they tell you. They don’t answer phones and their voicemail is perpetually full. They are absolutely the worst in the business as far as customer care and honoring commitments are concerned. Pay more elsewhere. Pay 2x more if you need to at a different store but avoid this store - you will spend the money, spend hours fighting to get the mistakes sorted and still NOT get what you paid for. We paid more than $3k for a bedroom set and then made 6 - yes 6! - trips to the store because the order was delivered incorrectly and they don’t answer phones. The staff is rude and have the audacity to pick up and keep the phone off the hook to prevent taking any calls! Absolute nightmare.
Hector was awesome. He answered all pur questions and listened to what we wanted. There was no rushing us and we got a great deal on our new furniture. Second time buying from Ashley and we would highly recommend them.
Terrible experience. Missing items from my order that was made in May, it’s now September and I still don’t have my furniture
I went to Ashley with the full intention of buying a chair. I found the one I wanted, found the salesperson, and discussed price. He left to talk to his manager - for more than 15 minutes! During that time, I went online and discovered the SAME chair on the Ashley online store for $50 less. When he returned, I asked about that and he mumbled about how many types of furniture they sold, and left again for more than 15 minutes!! As I was leaving him a note telling him that the wait was far too long, he returned and pretty much shrugged his shoulders in response. So I left, went home, and ordered the chair from the online site. It will be delivered several days after my order, whereas from the store it would take up to three weeks. So for the life of me, I can't figure out why anyone would bother to shop at the store - poor service, higher prices, and disrespectful wait times. I'll never return to the store.
I had heard nightmare stories from other people in other states but had never had a problem till now. They gave us a good price on a bedroom set but that's where the goodness ended. Took forever in finance where they kept trying to force the 5 year warranty on us even though we repeatedly told them that it wasn't necessary. Delivery was another nightmare at first it was 10 days which became 2 weeks and now it's been 3 weeks and they are saying it needs to come from the manufacturer and are unsure when that would be. We moved from out of state and had hoped to have this bed while we waited on our things to come from 1/2 way cross the country but it actually took less time for us to have our apartment shipped then it was to get our furniture from a store 3 miles away. **Update as of 8/26/19: So after 5 weeks of waiting I called to see where our things were, and the woman who answered only would say that they were waiting on a nightstand. The manager who I got transferred to was very rude talking over me at all times. I was not mad or being belligerent but I was frustrated as we had no indication when to expect our things and it had been over a month. They finally agreed to ship what they did have ,which was everything except one nightstand (which maybe coming in sometime around 9/18). However, now unless we want to be charged extra delivery for that one nightstand we have to go and pick it up when it comes in.
I should have been the ideal customer - I knew what I wanted, and wanted to buy it today. I found it quickly and talked with a salesperson. I asked if there was any negotiation room on the price; he went to check and returned 10-15 minutes later. I asked another question and he went to check with the manager again; another 15 minutes. While I was waiting and waiting, I had time to go on my phone. At Ashley Furniture online, I was able to get the exact same item $50 cheaper.If the managers think that the "car salesman" "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" approach is making people buy or think that they are getting a special deal, they are wrong. Your delay is costing the store sales and money. Your duplicitiousness is disappointing and dishonest. You should be able to match the online price at the very least. My experience makes me never want to return to Ashley; I don't trust them.
If I could give this Wilmington store zero or a negative, I would! DO NOT BUY A THING FROM HERE! They have the WORST customer service! The manager Lamont, hung up on me. It&'s been over a month and we haven&'t received our furniture yet! The salesman is a liar, he lied about how long it would take and he never disclosed the fact that they will charge you $20 to ship items from THEIR warehouse to THEIR store! You cannot cancel anything after 72 hrs or you will be charged 10% of the invoice price. What company does this????I&'m fkng furious! I&'m so angry at myself for not reading reviews first and ever stepping foot in their door! Everything is over priced junk! Why did I walk in there and buy anything?
Like many others have posted, I wish that I could give the Ashley Wilmington, DE store negative stars. I wish that I had read the reviews before visiting. We stopped in on a whim because we were driving by and on a search for outdoor furniture for our new deck and patio. We found a floor model that we liked. Although we found the overall experience at the store concerning as well as the the poor service (especially from the manager - will get to that later. . . ), we really liked the outdoor dining set. We ended up going back and have regretted it ever since. When negotiating the price for the floor model, the manager would not come out. He stayed hidden in his office sending the salesperson back and forth to deliver his messages, which clearly frustrated her. His lack of credibility to her was evident. Long story short. . . . We wish we had stuck with Fortunoff. This experience was horrible. Each Ashley store is owned privately, so calling the main line does not help you at all. They refer you back to the franchise store, not caring a bit about the reputation of the overall brand. The salesperson told us that if we bought the floor model that they would have their "fix it" guy come and polish it up, etc. . . before it was delivered. We advised that we would need delivery 3-4 weeks away, which gave plenty of time for this to be done since he comes to the store once a week. So. . . because they only deliver on Wednesday, we picked up the set ourselves. When we arrived there were several items stacked on top of the table. Clearly they had not had work done on the set prior to picking them up. By the way - heads up that this store only delivers on Wednesday. That makes zero sense to me for the normal working person. Anyways. . . . The furniture was picked up and we inquired when the "fix it" guy could come to fix the furniture. We have been round and round and round with the store and the Manager, LaMont. He does not return texts or phone calls. The store voice mail and LaMont's voicemail is constantly full. They stopped answering our calls at the store. We blocked our number when we called and they answered. Clearly this is a pretty standard practice for this store. The owners should be ashamed of this store. They will be out of business soon if they don't change the service that is received here. Our struggle continues, but I will NEVER buy from ANY Ashley Furniture store again as a result of this experience. Hoping our misfortune can benefit someone else.
Purchased new living room furniture from the Wilmington, DE Ashley store, it was my first time there. The salesman was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful through the entire shopping and purchase process and answered every one of our endless questions. The only reason for four stars is the long wait time for delivery which ended up being longer than anticipated but the actual delivery process was smooth and professional. I would return as a customer for additional needs without hesitation.
WORST place Ever. I’ve shopped at other stores in the Philadelphia area without a problem, turned family and friends on to this store. Customer service representatives HORRIBLE, in store and on the phone. I ordered my furniture on 7/13 and I’m still waiting...... I called twice a week to learn my status, I would be placed on hold then an unsuspected rep would get on the line and not know why I was calling because the person who put me on hold never explained why I was calling. Finally got an email today for a delivery tomorrow, 4 hr window is 8am til 1pm. I told them that doesn’t work for me since I have to be at work 4am, they refused to change my delivery time. That’s the least they could’ve done since my order was pushed back twice from 7/13..... I couldn’t talk to no one who was willing to make an exception after all the hassle I’ve been thru, so I canceled my order and hopefully my money is back on my card tomorrow or I’ll be back in that store raising hell again. I don't think I'll ever order from this store again. Every time I have, they've screwed it up. Last year I ordered a dining set. It was delivered weeks after it was supposed to be delivered. Just recently, I placed nearly a $2000 order to furnish my new studio apartment. The order placing itself was a whole mess, because the girl at the store with whom I'd originally drafted my order was new and told me the wrong information about the bed. She literally would have sold me 3/4 of a platform bed because she didn't know any better. That curveball obviously threw me for a loop when I came in to purchase my furniture, so what I thought would be a quick visit to the store to place an order wound up taking HOURS because I had to redraft the whole thing. From there, it only kept getting worse. The order was only partially delivered even though I was promised by the manager that everything was in stock and would have no issues being delivered on time. They just simply "forgot" to include my accent tables on the delivery order and even though I caught this before the delivery happened and the manager assured me they'd make it on the truck for delivery the following day, they still forgot them. The delivery guys who came to deliver tried to just drop off the dissassembled furniture and if it weren't for the fact that I speak fluent Spanish, they literally were planning to just leave my $2000 worth of furniture in a piling heap. I called the manager of this store to cite the missing accent tables, he promised they'd be delivered by Saturday morning. Saturday morning came & went and I heard no follow up from him, I had to call AGAIN and then finally he had them delivered. They were delivered but damaged. I informed him immediately and he said they'd be switched out. Instead of being switched out, I get a call saying to come pick them up, two weeks later. When I called the store back to see why they were asking me to pick them up when they knew I'd moved at that point, they said they'd messed up (again!) and would have to resubmit and follow up in a couple of weeks. Other issues of note: my dining table delivered in June is a dropleaf table and it's missing one of the four support beams. I talked to the woman who answers the phone and she said this was a warranty issue and provided me a number. I called that number and no one answers. I called the manager of this store to share this complaint, and he gave me a customer service number to call. The first number was out of service, so I had to call (again!!) and he gave me a different number. I've called that number and was "transferred" to customer service and then just got a personal voicemail. I've looked on the Ashley's website as this store is clearly inept at handling this, and apparently Ashley's doesn't offer customer service for store issues. At this point I am fed up because it has taken me HOURS of follow up to get this order right. I think this location is extremely disorganized and puts way too much work on the customer when they're the ones who keep screwing up. Why do I have to keep calling and chasing about my order when I ultra-verified everything before signing the Purchase Order back in May and paid everything 100% at the time of purchase? Why did two of my pieces arrive late/damaged? Why is it so hard to speak to a responsible manager who will actually take care of all this in one call rather than keeping to transfer me around like they don't want to deal with me? I want money back for the trouble, my damaged accent table replaced, and my dropleaf table fixed or switched out.

Ughhh.. what a sh*t show. Priced out the same exact set of furnature over a week with 3 different sales people, the price changed 3 times. Sometimes by $2000. Prices on the sign are never right, and discounts change hourly it seems. Honestly was about to spend 7 grand in furnature, but because of this shenanigans we went to Ray more. Don&'t waste your time.
Worst place to deal with. If I could give negative star and would have done it. Placed an order for sofa and loveseat in May 2019 and paid it through their store credit card. After so many delays in delivery, finally they cancelled my order because of product non - availability. Now the problem is they are not removing pending charges from credit card even after 2 months. When I call or email they are not responding properly. Already made many visits to the store and the manager will not be available when I go there. When I spoke to him last he told me that he had informed finance department to cancel the pending charges, but still not done as on 7/23/19. Never had this kind of worst experience.

I previously wrote a really good review about Ashley furniture mostly because Vivian was AMAZING as a sales person. I still very much believe that. However since the process went out of Vivian's hands it has been a nightmare. The customer service after has been awful. Ashley Furniture "corporate" who does the delivery service is the worst and the store has zero control over the process after you buy. The corporate reps stated that the managers at this store were misinformed, should know better, and were liars. Do yourself a favor and don't get in the middle of this store vs corporate disconnect. I've never experienced worse customer service. Trust me, it was so bad that I canceled my $4k+ sale. My advice: hire more people like Vivian and hire less of your awful corporate customer service delivery people.

The experience I had at Wilmington store was an awful experience. They take months for delivery won't order your furniture till its paid for in the first place. The store and the employees have such a bad reputation that they right fake reviews put there name throughout to try and get business. Quite easily the worst customer service experience of my life... I'm not sure where to begin, as I'm not one to write reviews or be overly negative about my shopping experiences, but I've never been so poorly treated as a customer in my life. I can't imagine what happened to us being acceptable by any standards of customer service whatsoever. We made a rather large purchase of furniture at the Ashley Furniture store in Wilmington Delaware. We spent thousands of dollars furnishing our home there, we've sent family and friends there directly bringing the store more business, and have been overall happy with the experience and the quality of everything. Until recently... the main sofa that we purchased for our living room some how just snapped in half at the base. Although upsetting, we thought it would be no big deal, considering we purchased the extended warranty on all of our furniture through Ashley. This is when things got crazy - we called Ashley to schedule a replacement and that we wanted to use our warranty. Normal operating procedure for any furniture store in the country besides this store. The store rep told us they no longer will accept our warranty because they are under new management. Ummmm... what? So we spend hundreds of dollars on a warranty and they simply no longer honor it because of new management? We actually thought this was some kind of joke. I've never heard of new management coming in and not honoring previously agreed upon warranties. It's absolutely absurd and customer service suicide. Additionally, our warranty is with ASHLEY FURNITURE. Not "current management/ownership group of Ashley Furniture". This is a flat out scam and people need to know about what this store is doing. As if that wasn't enough, it gets even better. The store insisted on sending a repair man to repair the damages free of charge. We thought that was a fair compromise so we had him come take a look. He came into our home for 5 minutes, said that it would be too big of a job that would take 3 hours, and left. We never heard anything about it again. Ashley says the repair company they use is a 3rd party, so they have no tabs on how they operate. How convenient. All in all, the sofa set we purchase cost us roughly 1000 dollars (not counting the warranty), and they no longer carry the piece that broke. Ashley offered us 400 to replace the broken piece with another piece, but the problem is nothing they make matches what we already have, and 400 isn't even close to what we spent on it originally. This is just a pathetic excuse for customer service (and potentially illegal?) and I hope my story deters people from shopping here. Judging by the review score here, and everyone's previous terrible experiences, I would say it's no longer a coincidence and more like a pattern - of absolutely terrible customer service. Take your money elsewhere, to a company that appreciates your business and won't jerk you around. This place is nothing but headaches. Stay away until they get their sh*t together. TLDR: Bought a whole bunch of furniture from Ashley, bought the extended warranty. Our main sofa breaks. Ashley says they will no longer honor our warranty because they've had a "change in management" and aren't honoring warranties from the previous management. If this doesn't scream scam, I don't know what does.
Would go into the negative star rating, if there was the option. Purchased a sofa, two weeks later the zipper broke. Was transferred to speak with customer service. A representative informed me first it would ship May 1st, 2019 ( 7-10 business days). Then was told June 3rd, 2019, now on May 12th, 2019 I was told the end of next week it will ship. It’s going on a month and two weeks of me not receiving the new cushion cover. I was told three different dates by customer service, was ignored by email (5) and telephone. Asked to file a complaint against the representative and they said they only take complaints by mail and that I would have to write a letter. Asked to speak to a manager and they said that would take 24-48 hours. This review is not for the Wilmington (where the sofa was purchased) but the customer service department. I will 100% not refer anyone to get furniture with this company, after the service I am receiving. CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS APPALLING!
I wish I could give them 0 stars!!!!!! THEIR Customer service was HORRIBLE and Extremely unprofessional. . THEY need NEW STAFF at the Concord Pike DE location. My husband and I were finishing our purchase order on Saturday and the woman in the finance department gave us an attitude immediately. She got smart with a few of her coworkers as well, one coworker even told her (and I quote) "you are in front of customers shut the F up" that's how bad it was. She told me what my balance was and I handed her my card and I told her this is for my balance, then she entered my card information in the computer printed me copies of the receipts and told me everything was taken care of. Then I received a call the next day, informing me that they never submitted my payment and we have to go back to the store if we want our couches to be ordered. WHAT?????? So, my husband and I had to return back to the store to pay for our furniture that we thought was taken care of the day before. Of course we are disappointed how this transaction was handled. My husband walks in and we met Hector the only professional person in this store, then the manager gets an attitude immediately and tells my husband to keep his voice down when he wasn't speaking loud at all. My husband apologies because we have manners. The NO name manager, he never introduced himself, goes over and pulls up our information as we explained to him how we were treated the day before and Hector agreed with us. While he is reviewing our information, he gives us an attitude and then says very arrogantly "What were you doing today since your time is SOOO Valuable" WOW my chin dropped. I know that's when my husband had enough!! My husband got offended because of the attitude and unnecessary comment from the manager, and my husband tells him "you just gave me an attitude" then the manager FREAKS OUT, gets loud and shouts to my husband "I was going to give you a couple of hundred off but since you don't want to tell me what you were doing I'm not helping you. " My husband apologies again and tells the manager "I work 60 hours in 4 days, I have little time to get ready for a family event, so my time is very valuable to me" Then the manager insist that this was my husband fault and runs from behind the counter and gets in my husband face to the point that my husband has to stepped back. He was trying to intimidate my husband. He tells the manager sir you need to get out of my face. The manager did not step back and continued to point in my husbands face. The manager yells at us your order is now cancelled and tries to kicks out of the store, but I stayed and asked him to please provide me with a canceled order receipt. The manager yells at us again GET OUT of the store I explained to him that I was not leaving until he provides me with a receipt that shows that my order was cancelled. I do not trust him at this point. The manager then RUNS out of the store to go smoke a cigarette and then gets in his vehicle and leaves, meanwhile I'm waiting for my cancellation receipt. We finally received it and I asked the woman what the managers name was and she said NO that she was not giving us his name, then co-worker said you are not getting any names. That's insane NO ONE was wearing name tags. . . PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS STORE, I WILL GO TO headquarters with this no one should go through this experience while shopping in their store for furniture and spending thousands of dollars. I really thought that my husbands was going to get hit by this manager. The only positive thing that came from this was that we saved thousands going to Raymour and Flanigan after this experience and bought a better sectional.
I will start off positive, Orlando was amazing salesmen! He helped me pick out the furniture I wanted. He didn't pressure me and offered the best deals right away. I did change my order a few times due to the space in my current apartment. The manager was very helpful and gave me the same discounts. I did have to change my order a second time and the other manager James seemed helpful at first, gave me the same discounts. Fast forward to 6/5 I finally get the confirmation for my order and its incorrect. I call the store and was advised everything will arrive correctly today which it did not. I feel the manager mislead me and lied, which I do not appreciate!!! I spent a lot of money in this store and now I have to order new furniture due to misinformation. I still would recommend this store, although they messed up my order. I will not be returning to this location, I will just order the couch from Ashley's closer to my house.
James was great, he knew the what he was selling and knew the product inside and out. You could tell he was very in tune with the customer needs. He was able to answer every question and with professionalism and accuracy. Job well done!! I definitely will ask for his assistance next time I make a purchase.

Salesman was named Orlando, he was nice and helpful and knew what he was doing. Great guy, that's were the positive ended. Ordered furniture. Was told they would call to set up delivery the week of the 20th. The 23rd rolls around, still no call. I call them, they say okay well set it up now (did you guys forget) I pick a day, am told they will call that day and schedule a time, I made it clear we work during the day and need an afternoon or weekend delivery. They said they can give us an afternoon window of 3-7 and that someone would call that day to give us a definite time. That day arrives, no call, then I get a text from a driver "we are 20 minutes away" while I am at work a 9 AM. I called to ask what gives, I"m told they don't do scheduled deliveries at all or make calls you get what you get and I'll have to pay a re-delivery fee to get this furniture. I call the store they say they are looking into it and will call me back in a few hours. Its been two days, I sill don't have my furniture and am seriously considering telling you guys to keep it and I'll take my money elsewhere.

i could give 0 or negative starts on this store. This is one of the worst stores to start your furniture shopping from. Their service is poor. Salesmen just wants to sell / promise free lamps(which are yet to be delivered) never takes care of the order for months. It took us many phone calls to many different numbers to get answers for our furniture delivery dates. they sent in floor chairs(we had paid for brand new). They had issues with our server (none of the stores in US had that piece of furniture left) they had 1 available which we accepted to take since the dining table was already delivered but that server ended up from floor too with rust on cabinet frames. no body was ready to take ownership of all this mess including the manager/salesman/customer service/warehouse people. NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE.

I'm only giving one star because that is the only way to post- it should be a negative 5 stars- avoid this place at all cost! Purchased a bedroom set and they have broken commitment after commitment for three going on four weeks and still no furniture. The stall tactics are the only thing they have mastered. They never return phone calls as promised, I always had to initiate contact with them. Staff are unprofessional and after nearly 4 weeks of nothing but broken promises we requested a refund. We will see if the refund is processed since that seems to be our last resort. They also won't give you a confirmation code that it was canceled or refunded and will not provide a receipt.
We visited this store on a recent Sunday afternoon and were greeted by Vivian. She then spent the next 3 hours helping us to select furniture for 5 different rooms in our new house. She was extremely patient with us as we went back and forth on certain items, and gave us the pros and cons of each. The manager and staff at the order entry area were also very pleasant and helpful. A very good shopping experience!
Great service from Vivian when we visited this store on 4/14. She worked very hard to get us all the information we needed for everything from DR table/chairs to sofas to BR suites. She was a real pleasure to work with! Vivian and the store manager also came through with great prices and we ordered everything the same day.
Horrible Sales Persons and worst checkout counter ladies. They are having lunch sitting on their working desk. Doesn't have any kind of courtesy. If you ask anything they will just ignore you. Very bad attitude. Oh yeah, sales team is so busy sitting on their store couches and enjoying their chit chat. I think administration or owner should visit often.
A little pricey for me
My husband and I came to Ashley&'s on President&'s Day looking for a sleeper sectional. Our salesperson Jay was friendly and helpful. He helped us locate a sectional that we liked on the floor that also comes in a sleeper version. We asked the price and Jay stated it would be $1100. We had looked this up online and it was priced somewhere around $980. We decided to go look around before making a decision.We headed to a few other stores and realized what we were getting for the price, even at $1100 was great value. Other stores had similar sleeper sectionals for close to $1800.We headed back to see Jay at Ashley&'s and told him we want to purchase the sofa. Speaking privately with my husband, we still decided to purchase the couch because even at $1252, we still were getting a great deal versus the other furniture stores. When it was all said and done (add on tax and delivery fee-more on that in a minute). This online $980 sofa turned into almost $1500.Once we got up to check out, the cashier read out to me what we were purchasing. I am thankful I was really listening because she said we were getting the LAF chaise and I did a little turn and arm dance to double check and I said &"I think that&'s backwards. We need the opposite direction of the floor model.&" So glad I caught it, so it could be corrected. I was 8 months pregnant at this point and last thing I needed was the wrong furniture that didn&'t work in our apartment to be delivered! Once we got the right order in place, we paid and then we were told you don&'t get to schedule delivery right then. They will call us when the piece arrives at the warehouse to schedule delivery, since this sleeper version is a special order it can take up to 6 weeks. This was the first mention of this. Did I mention I&'m 8 months pregnant and in 8 weeks had a impending due date? And no couch? Yikes!! So on the receipt we are given there is a website you can check your delivery status. I had to read and find this myself. No one at the store mentioned it. I checked it and it said the furniture would come in on 3/31 but date is subject to change. I crossed my fingers and my legs that it would come at least by that time!! I checked it again about 2 weeks later it changed to 4/6. I&'m starting to sweat.Finally on March 30 I receive a call that they want to schedule my delivery. She tells me the next available date is April 5. I said I would need a time after 12 noon when I could be home. She tells me they will call me on April 4 to confirm the time. I get a call April 4. It is an automated message letting me know my delivery window is 8am-12 noon. Okay seriously? So I select the prompts to get through to dispatch. A man answers and I let him know I need a later time frame. Before even trying to help me he says he probably can&'t help because usually these calls get patched through to the wrong place and I probably need to call Brandywine? Whatever that means. So he looks me up and goes &"oh I was wrong. This is the right place.&" Great, dude glad we got this far. He tells me the Ashley Store has &"major problems&" because they keep telling people they can pick their time and they can&'t. So he says the time is 8am-12 or he can cancel it and I can call the store to pick the next available delivery day, which is at least a week out. I said thanks, but no thanks because if I wait a week, this baby will be coming. So I told him to leave the date and I&'d reschedule my whole day to sit around for 4 hours to await the couch on their schedule. His suggestion &"well it can be any adult over 18 at your home to accept the delivery, it doesn&'t have to be you&"So the delivery of the couch finally arrives on April 5 around 11:30am...so glad I sat around all morning. The poor delivery guys, while very polite and efficient, could barely get these huge pieces up 3 flights of stairs and into my living room. But the sofa is here, in great condition and we do love it. The furniture itself is why I gave 3 stars. Customer service is so lacking from Ashley&'s and the delivery process it&'s laughable. It took 6 weeks and 4 days from purchase for us to receive our furniture. And expect to pay for your stuff, but to be treated like they are doing you a favor by even just delivering something you paid for.

Amazing service accompanied with courteous and helpful staff members. I was in the market for a new living room set for several years because I was indecisive with styles and patterns. Sierra, at the Wilmington, DE store was just the person I needed to help me see my vision. She was patient, had a keen sense of style, and was able to help with measurements and colors. I received my furniture today and couldn't be happier. I will definitely be using Ashley Homestore for all our future furniture purchases.
Charmaine was absolutely so helpful with setting up the delivery of my furniture. We had ordered living room furniture which included an ottoman. The ottoman was on back-order, which would have caused a 6 week delay with the furniture. We asked if the ottoman could be separated and we would pick it up from the store when it became available, so that the rest of the furniture could be delivered this week. an email was sent out to the warehouse to confirm the new order. The warehouse did not respond, so she sent out another one and assured me that she would stay on top of it to make sure that the furniture gets delivered by my birthday. Charmaine kept her word and left me a message that it would be delivered on my birthday. I love when a person is dedicated to deliver excellent customer service. Thanks Charmaine.
I have recently moved and purchased a bed, couch, and table from Ashley. Each time I have been in the store Jay J. has been a very helpful sales associate. He goes above and beyond to assist and get me all the answers I need. He is very knowledgeable and that has been very helpful in the process of selecting new furniture.

i purchased furniture in December 2018. i gave them a $ 460 cash deposit then the rest was financed though their credit card. January comes around and no furniture yet. i asked for a refund. I was told i would get a refund via check. which it is now march 2019 still no refund issued. everytime I call about the money i get new excuse about a policy and still have no refund issued. They are all a bunch of liars do not purchase furniture here
Vivian was so helpful. She worked with me over the phone and then in the showroom to pick out the perfect oval cocktail table and round end tables. The furniture was delivered this morning and is beautiful and fits perfectly in my living room. The gentlemen handling the delivery were professional and cheerful. I&'ll definitely be back when I ready to replace my mattress set and recliner. Vivian gave me a flyer from Habitat and they are coming Saturday to pick up my donated furniture. I will NEVER buy from them again! I ordered a sectional, when it was delivered they didn't take it apart correctly and damaged it while bringing it in. After sending that piece back "which was a headache in itself" I had to wait weeks for the new piece to come. Once it came and I took off work for the 2nd time they forgot the center wedge of the sectional. They told me that it would take over a week for me to get the piece they forgot and I would have to take off work again (for a 3rd time) or drive to the wearhouse and pick it up. So after driving 140 miles round trip to the wearhouse , $20 in tolls, missing two days of work, and almost 2 months l I finally got my whole sectional. If I could give no stars I would. Save yourself the time and headache and shop else where!
Over priced
I will never EVER spend another dollar at that store. I purchased some furniture in January and I still haven't received my entire order. The remaining chairs were supposed to be delivered today because we scheduled the delivery date with the lady at the front desk. When I called a few minutes ago, they told me that I was not scheduled for delivery. This is so unprofessional!! After buying something from them, you have to call and beg to get your stuff. I wish I read the reviews before going to that store. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, NEVER.
HORRIBLE....STAY AWAY. Went in for the Presidents’ Day sale which supposedly was ending that day. They told us the sectional we wanted was 50% off of $2100. They then proceeded to give us a hard time due to the fact that we wanted to pick up the couch and that we were declining their protection plan. After they finally conceded, we sat for a good 15 minutes while the sales person entered in the sale. When we got to customer service to pay for the sectional we were then told that we owed another $20 as a transfer fee since we wanted to pick up the item ourselves. I argued with them, due to the fact that I had already signed the invoice that did not include that $20. The manager did not care and told me I must pay the $20. Then I asked about when it would come in. The sales person told us it would be 10 days but when I went to pay I was informed that their standard window is 2 to 6 weeks but it could be longer. I was extremely angry and frustrated at the time. Woke up the next morning only to discover that the wrong color had been ordered and now the couch was over $150 less than it was the day prior. Went back into cancel The transaction and they could not have cared less. Found the same exact couch online with free delivery and their protection plan for less money. Had I have Ashley deliver it and gotten the protection plan I would’ve paid $250 more. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else
If I could give zero stars I would. Let me just start by saying that the level of unprofessionalism and disorganization in this store is unbelievable. This store should be shut down because it is quickly tarnishing the Ashley brand. I recently purchased over $5,000 of furniture. One of my purchases was a dining room set. Upon picking up the 6 chairs that came with the table, we noticed that two were damaged (legs completely busted off) and one was milled wrong. I called the store about the issue and spoke to Scott. He told us to bring them into the store and he would take a look. Scott assured me he would take care of the return and get four new chairs ordered. Fast forward a month and a half. After calling Scott multiple times to try and get an answer of when the chairs will arrive, I come to find out that Scott never placed the order. From there I began working with Lamont (supposedly the store manager). Lamont was completely rude from the start. He claims to have reached out to the warehouse and that I should call back next Tuesday when he will know when we will receive the chairs. Later that evening when my husband and I came into the store to pick up an item for a family member, he completely disregarded us and had nothing to say about the issue. Not even an apology! When I walked away and said Thank you (because I am an adult), he said noting. Fast forward to Tuesday (the day we should finally know when we are getting the chairs), I call, and still no word. He says that he has to wait for the warehouse to respond to his email. I explain AGAIN that I am really tired of this being pushed down the road and I would like a date. He then "digs" into our account and says the chairs will come in on March 7th. Thats OVER TWO MONTHS from the date we brought the busted chairs back. When I began to further complain about the issue and how long this has taken, Lamont's excuse was that we should have never brought them back to the store to begin with, and that Scott should have never taken them back....Like it is our fault. When I asked Lamont what he will do for us as loyal customers to make this better...he says nothing. Can't do anything. Are you serious??! I have to say, Ashley...that's pretty bad. Not even an offer to deliver the chairs to us...we still have to go to the store and pick them up ourselves, "unless we want to pay for delivery", says Lamont. Good customer service is what makes a company great, Ashley should look into it.

They did not treat their sales associate well and I really felt bad for the guy as he was really nice and helped us out. They yelled at home for having us write down our billing and mailing address (2 different addresses since we are moving). I am not sure if he did something else wrong, but they were really rude to the guy. Then, we went to the bathroom. There was no toilet paper, paper towels, or soap. There was water damage in the bathroom and it was really dirty. To top it off as I was walking around the store waiting and trying to keep my 2 boys entertained, I turned a corner and walked into the corner of a bed, where the foot board was covered by a blanket, so I didn't see it was there. I now have quite a large bruise on my leg.

I originally went here just to purchase a mattress. Found the one that I liked at an awesome price. I had no way to get my mattress home so I needed to pay for delivery. Originally the customer service rep said she would call me with a delivery date of that Wednesday or the following. It got to 5 o’clock on the Tuesday before the first potential delivery date and I hadn’t heard anything. So I called and she basically said she hadn’t heard anything and it would be next week. That was fine- would have appreciated her being proactive to let me know when it would have actually been delivered. Anyway, so the next week rolls around, I got the time off work, confirmed my delivery and was anxiously awaiting my purchase. Now in the delivery man’s defense, it had snowed quite a bit and I had expected a delay. My delegates delivery time comes and goes with no delivery or call. I ended up calling twice to check to see if my mattress would actually show up. Both times the customer service rep said, oh yeah they are still out for delivery. They should be there soon and she would touch base with the warehouse and contact me back. By this time it was 7:30pm- 3.5 hours past my scheduled delivery time. I finally gave up hope that they would actually come by 8 pm. Fast forward to the next day- I stop in the store to find out what is going on. Come to find out that my mattress was never actually picked up for delivery. I got a full refund for my disastrous purchase and left. I will never shop at an Ashley Homestore again.

We were dumped at front desk by our sales rep and there were 2 check out folks behind the counter, neither one bothered to look up and acknowledge me or 2 others standing there. We all looked at each other like "what are we waiting for"?. Finally maybe 5-6 mins later, a clerk looks up, says "what are you waiting for" and I just said "good question", goodbye and I walked out. I would not go back again.

Excellent service by Jordan. Very knowledgeable about his products and was not pushy in making a sale. He was extremely helpful and more than accommodating when dealing with a few of the delivery logistics. Today I also had the pleasure of meeting the store manager Lamont who was swift in dealing with a slight hiccup. Will most certainly make all of my furniture purchases from here in the future!
Horrible quality and customer service. Spent $2000 on my sofa and it broke within two weeks of having it. Called the customer service center to have the replacement parts sent to me in late December and the parts still have not arrived. I highly recommend that you buy anywhere other than here. The Price was good and the sales person was great. When it came to getting my furniture to my house that os a whole different experience. They told me 3 to 6 weeks and I called about 3 weeks later to get an update and was told they are waiting on the one piece of the set I ordered and it wouldent be in till mid February. They where going to wait 3 months to deliver my furniture. All that said the delivered the rest canceled the other price and never refunded my money. Just the other day I called and they told me they dident understand why it was canceled and not reordered. I am still waiting on a call from the store manager about either my refund or the availability of the price that I am missing.

Total gimmick. We loved the sectional in store that we chose, after only two weeks it's starting to already wear down. I kind of knew what I was getting into, I heard the horror stories. Luckily this couch wont get a lot of traffic. However the BIGGEST issue I have is that I was promised (because of the amount I spent) a promotional gift card AND a wifi video doorbell. This was all part of "ASHCHRISTMASGIVE" sale. I was PROMISED both, it's right on my invoice too, separate line items. Now that the time has come to get these items, corporate, AND the local ashley store are playing dumb. You could tell by the managers I was dealing with right away.... CONS!
The Ashley showroom was huge and filled with a great selection of beautiful furniture. Vivian our sales lady was very professional and had a no pressure attitude. Great customer service. Hit a small snag with a discontinued item and the return was easy and painless thanks to manager Scott. Very nice experience, I would definitely shop there again.

I decided to take a drive to delaware to Ashley's looking for a sofa . I walked into Ashley's and this lovely young lady said hello to me and ask me if I needed help once I walked in . Emia was very helpful and answered all my questions. I give her 5 stars also to charmaine as well . They made me laugh and feel comfortable around them . They gave me some unique ideas for my new place I will never forget the experience . Thanks ladies!!
I had to reschedule delivery fee due to my father being hospitalized. They told me I had to pay another delivery fee so I told them forget it, I’d like to cancel. Now they’re saying I need to pay a 30 PERCENT restocking fee of a $1300 order!!! Apparently it’s on the contract I signed, yet on the website it says in order to cancel I would only have to pay the delivery fee as cancellation. I should’ve known not to deal with them when they tried to charge me more in-store for the pieces than they were on the website. Absolutely horrible policy, this place is sure to go bankrupt with policies like this.
