The worst purchase experience that I have ever had. Store manager needs more traning in customer relations. He must have gotten the job because he is related to someone in the company. He is clearly not a people person. Items purchased are not available for delivery. Purchased my items back in April and still have not received all of them. I have had issue after issue with delivery dates and times.and even wrong item delivered. To make matters worst after paying for Premium assembly and delivery. I am now being told that I am expected to assemble items. Hummm, What is included in Premium assembly?Long story short, Shop else where, this place is Not Worth The Hassel .
One-Stop Shopping. Found everything needed thanks to Rohan Lawrence and Steve, Store Mgr. Ashley Furniture offers a nice product, good selection and fare pricing. Look forward to enjoying my furniture for years to come with added avvantaqge of a five-year extended warranty.
We walked around looking at furniture for about 30 minutes and not a single person came up and said hello or if they can help. Go somewhere where they care about your business.
My partner and I have been looking for months for several pieces for our new loft. We looked between several different furniture stores and decided Ashley Home Store had EXACTLY what we were looking for. Upon arrival the specialist, Rohan Lawrence, asked us if we were looking for something. We proceeded to show him a table we saw on sale on the Ashley Website. Mr. Lawrence scurried to get our information and close the sale. When he gave us the final amount of the item with the shipping charge the cost was more than double the cost of the online sale price and he was charging us over $100 for shipping?? (Online - Shipping was free) Upon informing him of Ashleys website offering free shipping, it being on sale, and my partner and I not needing someone to assemble the table, the conversation got confrontational which made us feel extremely uncomfortable working with him. We were interested in more pieces in the store so we decided to do a lap before leaving and told him as he put our information in for the order we would look at other pieces to add on.There was a man there who cared more for us just in passing then Mr. Rohan displayed. We wanted to ask for someone else to help but did not want to press the issue and draw that kind of attention to ourselves. As we looked at a couch of interest we realized that we did not want to spend more money based off of how we were just made to feel. Instead we said we would just take the table that we have been searching for. In the end we spent an additional $1500 at City Furniture, although Ashley Home Store had what we wanted. This rating is based off service alone from Rohan Lawrence and not the products or other specialists.
If you order something online and have a problem with it, expect to be on hold for an hour each time you have to call customer service. I've made five calls, each time it took an hour for someone to answer the phone! The last call made Monday took an hour and 13 minutes!!!! I had to return a bed due to poor quality ie. holes drilled in the wooden legs did not line up with metal plates, bed posts were too wide to fit inside of the notches in the headboard etc. I had to box the bed back up and send it back to them via UPS. Instead of exchanging the bed, they canceled my order! It's been almost 30 days and they've yet to return the funds to my credit card. I just want my money back!!!!
WARNING!!!! Do not shop here, take your money else where they will deliver a product that is completely damaged and refused to swap it out and said I’d have to attempt to have it repaired even though it arrived damaged. The delivery team did not tell me that if I signed for it before thoroughly going through the box I would be signing my soul away. Every time I call to resolve this problem it take 30-45 mins just to get someone on the phone. I received my product last Saturday and requested a replacement and/or refund within 2 hours of delivery. I was told I’d receive a call by Monday (guess what that was a lie). Was told I would be approved for a refund in 24-48 hours, never received call and when I called back 72 hours later I was told it was denied. Than I was told this was going to regional management and it’s been another 42 hours with no resolve. Please stay as far away from Ashely’s that have forced me to hold a 7ft box in my home for over a week that smells like dangerous chemicals and arrived completely damaged. They don’t care about their customers. If this isn’t resolved by today I will be speaking to my lawyer about legal action against the store located in Altamonte Springs Florida.
I ordered a couch online. They cancelled my delivery without notice. I waited all day for them to come, finally I decided to call. They told me it was now on back order. It would of been nice to know that earlier. I called and had a new delivery date scheduled. The next day they send me an email saying my order was now cancelled. Customer service hold times average 1 hour. Their employees are either poorly trained or just don’t care. I sense the latter. They don’t want my business so I took it elsewhere. Avoid.

I came in looking for sofa’s, and from the minute I walked in the store, Jason Missal was very attentive and willing to help us! He was very knowledgeable about the on-going promotions, upcoming sale dates, and all other questions I had. He made my shopping experience here very enjoyable, and went above and beyond — definitely the best associate I’ve come in contact with at this location. Thank you a lot, Jason!
I have truly been disappointed with the customer service from the online sales department. I ordered a T.V. stand on 2/22/2020 and received it on 2/25/2020, I was excited and happy that it got here so quickly. When i took it out of the box to put it together I soon realized that two hing pins were missing but didn't think much about it because I know from putting other furniture together that it is some times easier to put it together when the pieces are loose so I figured that the pins would be in the hardware. I continued to put the stand together and got to the part to slide the back in place but couldn't because the dividers did not sit up against the main frame. I then searched though the hardware to see if the pins were there and low and behold they aren't. I immediately got online and talked to an online representative in a chat and sent pictures of the stand to show what was wrong and to show that it was defective because the holes are pre-drilled and only 1 centimeter off therefore drilling another hole would not work. Now the person I spoke to realized that she couldn't do what was needed and gave me a number to call which I did that same night. The young lady i spoke to was rude and tried to say I just didn't know what I was doing. She then scheduled a tech to come out and the only appointment was more than a week out. The tech came out and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!! He came in, looked, and went to his truck when he came back in he stated that he had to order the hing pins which I could not understand why he was not already prepared because I sent pictures and told the young lady what was wrong even though I knew that the pins would not fix the stand but neither the less be prepared!!! I have called several times and everyone is just trying to tell me what they think I want to hear and now they are saying they will give me an even exchange and a 10% discount (which was $50). My living room has been messed up for almost an entire month now and I still have yet to receive the new stand. When I call and asked whats going on I'm told that they are waiting on some other department to send an email. I get told I will get a call in a certain amount of time and I don't hear a thing until I call and magically they have new information. I am trying my best to not just say screw it and find some where else to get a stand but I really like this stand but if I don't have a pick up and drop off date by the end of the week that's what I'm going to do. Once I finish with this situation I will NEVER purchase and item from this store nor will I send any of my friends or family to it again!!!!!!
Every step when handling business has been horrible. Spending the amount of money you do in this store should warrant better customer service, but its extremely lacking. 2stars simply for the furniture is finally here and nice. Every other aspect of my experience will keep me from ever shopping here again.

I’ve never had such appalling customer service in my life. Was convinced by our Sales Specialist to have the sofa delivered, that it would be easier and smoother than getting it ourselves, and they could deliver in the morning. Day before delivery was given 3-7p for the window. Called Customer Service and was told there was no other choice based by my zip code, and to “have someone house sit”. Incredibly dismissive and rude. Rescheduled the delivery and received the much anticipated 3-7p slot. Had tickets to an event at 8. Delivery guys didn’t show up until 8:35! They were dirty, unkept and left black smudges all over my cream sofa! Plans had to get cancelled. Called Customer Service about the whole thing, and they said they’d send a tech out to clean it. Went to schedule it, and again, it has to be on their convenience. Forget the customer, who’s furniture YOU just screwed up. Now I don’t get my sofa cleaned for TWO WEEKS. Was advised to call the Altamonte Store Location about the horrible delivery experience itself... was basically told by the girl on the phone that they were late because of “traffic and things”. That’s all well and good, but perhaps adjustments to their delivery loads should ensure they have ample time to hit their delivery window. Asked to speak with the Store Manger, and after an extended hold, was told that they would give me a $50 gift card for my “inconvenience”.... on a $120 garbage delivery. I’m livid. I have a large 2 story home that needs to be completely furnished and I WILL NEVER be buying from them again. The customer service is absolutely appalling from every angle. Run as far and as fast as you can away from this store.
Don’t ever buy a mattress here. No matter what they try to avoiding covering anything. We bought a $5,900 mattress in February of 2016. A Serta IComfort Savant Everfeel. The whole right side support has collapsed and they are refusing to cover the mattress replacement. This place is a joke. This is just the beginning of a long list of issues. We have receipts for over $20,000 in furniture we purchased from this company and it’s all crap. Out of so many employees they have maybe, 2 that actually care. Everyone else just give you lip service. Especially Jean (Gene) at the Altamonte Springs Fl location. We will see how the Store manager Jeff Thompson treats us tomorrow morning and if he is willing to get this issue resolved. If not, you will find me parked in the parking lot every Friday- Saturday and Sunday warning people NOT to purchase mattresses or extended warranties through this company as they just want to take your money and deny every claim.
