Ashley Store Altamonte Springs, FL

They are pretty good selling, but when it comes the time for warranty is definitely another story. I bought a bedroom set a few years ago and even bought a separate warranty. My mattress started to sink at some point around the first year ( Also, I'm not a heavy guy, I weight around 155 lbs). I called Ashley, and they sent a technician, but he said that it was still within specs. So, I ended up buying a topper to help with the uneveness but a few years later it got even worse, so, I called them one more time and a technician showed up to my house and took new measurements (the mattress measure a little bit over 1.5 inches in depth) , this time my mattress was way off comparing the first call. The technician told me that someone would contact me to tell me how to proceed. So, no one did.... they actually said that my case was closed because the report said that the technician resolved the issue. REALLY?? I really want to know how to fix a mattress, I probably could start a new business with that... at the end of the day, I tried to contact the store and even Ashley online, and everyone was just tossing my claim left and Right, like me and my wife are not sleeping there... so, I'm leaving this review here. That way, someone can read about it and know what to expect. Becuase this is my 5th time trying to get to an agreement and providing any evidence they are asking for, but they seem not to care. I tried one more time to get this situation corrected, but they just keep playing their game. So, I bought a new mattress at Rooms to Go (which I have never had an issue with, not even with a warranty) and learned my lesson. I definitely know that the only product I will ever have from Ashley's is what I have left in my house. And if Ashley Furniture is reading this, please, stand behind what you offer, I even had to send a screenshot to customer service online because they said it was 1 year, then 5 year...the morale in this world is already low to start adding big companies like this into the same boat.

My wife and I walked in with the hopes that today would be the day…And today was that day! We were helped by Homeira! She said we can call her homie and she most definitely was the homie! She was very patient and considerate of our needs and helped us to get the couch we envisioned for our home. We’re grateful for Homeira at Altamonte’s Ashely’s Furniture! Be sure to ask for her!

We had a lovely experience at Ashley. Homeira K guided us to the bedroom sets that were beautiful while being a mix of classic elegance but with modern colors and style. We selected a lovely bed and dresser as well as a console table. The store itself has a calm vibe and Homeira went above and beyond to help us and chat in a friendly and welcoming way. Extremely disappointed with the customer service and management of this Ashley Furniture and their phone services. Lack of proper communication and organization. We were so excited to buy our new couch. However it past over a month now since purchase and it’s still not completely here. We are missing parts. We had to constantly call them and go directly in person with our concerns. We will not be coming back here to shop. Save your your time and money!

Really good experience with David Bruce, he made the experience easy, was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions along the way. Really appreciate it and if you're looking for something nice for your house, I recommend Ashley and Dave as your first stop!

Sales rep was nice and helpful, BUT, I was told there was a $100 shipping fee. When I said I don't want it shipped and I'd pick it up in store, I was told they don't do that and have to have it delivered. She said she could knock it down to $50 for door step drop off, so I said ok. Later on, was on their website and saw that if I had ordered the same exact furniture online it had FREE shipping. Maybe don't up sell your customers

Beware of the salesmen at Ashley’s that push for the furniture insurance. It’s a complete scam. Falco advised us that with the purchased insurance everything would be covered if something happened to the couch, WRONG! The insurance is a third party and they will pick and choose what they want to cover. We accidentally ripped the couch while moving, however they denied coverage because it’s on the seam. We paid around $400 for 5 year warranty. I would highly advise against listening to the salespeople at Ashley’s pushing this insurance. I feel scammed.

I had given this store a great review then I tried to have my furniture delivered. First I have to say that I had to cancel the delivery three times because of the fact that my husband was in and out of the hospital after a heart attack. I contacted them a couple of weeks ago and advised that my husband was in hospice Care now and in order to bring him home I needed my furniture delivered as quickly as possible. I did not know, and I blame myself for this, that once your furniture is in their warehouse if it is not being delivered that week they can sell it to the next guy that comes along and wants any or all of your merchandise. I've had to put off bringing my husband home from hospice for 3 weeks now because practically everything in our order has been sold off and I had to wait for it to be reordered and brought back in. As I said I do take responsibility for mistakenly believing that all my furniture was going to be kept in a little corner of the warehouse until the day I was ready to have it delivered. I just called with regards to my delivery and was advised that yes most of my stuff will be delivered but now I have to go out and try to find mattresses that could be delivered by Tuesday, today is Sunday, so that I can bring my husband home on Wednesday. I have tried calling the store, no answer and if I did get someone to answer and I asked for a manager I was told the manager would call me back I've been waiting 2 weeks, while calling at least every other day to ask for the manager I believe in 2 weeks I was able to connect with someone once. If you have a life and people in your life who may or may not get sick or may or may not pass away don't buy anything here because they will sell all your furniture at the drop of a hat to the next idiot that comes behind you. Nope I'm not going to add any photos

She really listened to us and took our needs and desires into account in her suggestions. We wound up purchasing five pieces of furniture. Woldnt recommend buying from here. They cant get it right. Ordered a loveseat, two chairs and coffee table. They brought a broken coffee table and a couch. Had to send back and am still waiting in a refund 5 days later. Ordered a replacement loveseat (out even more money) and it had not legs. Take 7-10 days to get the legs! At my wits end !

We had a wonderful experience with Randy. He was super accommodating and helped us figure out the best pieces for our home. He helped us for both our living room and dining room, finding a way to make my husband and I compromise on pieces until we found the perfect fit. Would definitely shop here again. Edit: 3 stars - we needed to cancel a part of the order as previously discussed with Randy as we were unsure if the table would fit in our space, but ordered in case it worked to avoid a secondary trip to the store. We tried to contact him multiple times to edit the order as he claimed he would be available and he has not answered a single phone call or text message. We had to utilize the chat to which no one responded within 72 hours as promised. I then called the customer service line where someone was FINALLY able to ensure our cancellation was processed. They were super understanding and extremely helpful - 5 stars. It shouldn’t require this many avenues to ensure our order was processed accordingly. Do better and definitely don’t have your staff give out personal information as comfort if they aren’t going to answer and it’s just a ploy to get us to order shit. Very frustrating.

Lied about financing, specifically asked multiple times if financing was done with a credit card company and was told No. Then wasted time filling up paperwork and having my credit run to find out it was a credit card with Synchrony. Deceptive trade practices.

Very disappointed in the customer service with Ashley furniture. I ordered a bed that was supposed to be delivered back in January. We are almost in April and I still have yet to receive my delivery. Every Time the furniture is scheduled to be delivered, They state they do not have all the parts. Customer service has not been helpful. I have asked for a corporate contact several times with no success. Will never order from Ashley furniture after this, as I have missed two days of work for Delivery drivers to shop and say they do not have all the parts to build the bed. A waste of time.

Update: As requested, I contacted the provided customer service email to discuss a “better solution.” Predictably, I received no response. Terrible, terrible experience with Ashley Furniture. First, I was misled by the sales rep and signed up for the financing with the assurance I wasn’t going to get a credit card in the mail and it would only require a soft check to my credit. 1 week later I get a credit card in the mail, and my credit score gets dinged by 20 points right as we’re trying to buy a house. Second, the delivery date was delayed several times due to back order. 2 months after ordering, I’m moving into the new home and have to change the delivery address. I’m told I have to come in to the store to change it. I do. I speak with Nas, a manager there. She changes the address but can’t schedule for me because …. It’s still on back order …. She promises to look into it and get back to me within a few days. I never hear from her. I call the store but can’t reach her. I email her but she doesn’t respond. I call again and am told that I have to come back into the store to show my ID to confirm the address change….. again? I go in. Nas is there, but this time they take me to the manager Abby who profusely apologizes and promises we’ll get it straightened out. She tells me the soonest they can deliver it is 21/2 weeks out. I tell her I have family coming to visit and need it sooner. She promises she’ll look into getting a sooner delivery date and will call me by end of day either way to give me an update. Do I hear from her again? Of course not. I think at this point I’ll be canceling the order and getting furniture somewhere else - anywhere else - for my visiting family to sit on

We met a friendly gentleman at the door and he informed us that he would be working for another few minutes. As we were looking around he brought Rose over, introduced us and Rose was very helpful. She let me borrow her tape measure, we joked around with her about a few things. She was just a pleasure. We found something we wanted and she let us know when our furniture would be delivered. We purchased a mattress back in 2021 and now we’re having an issue with fiberglass, and of course they won’t do anything about it because “guarantee is over”. I shouldn’t have to be dealing with fiberglass in the first place, they didn’t take any responsibility. So if you bought a mattress like the one in the picture check under it and be careful.

We have always purchased from various Ashley Stores in the Central Florida Area. We called the Altamonte Springs store on Feb-9 2025, to enquire about a living room set before we traveled to this location to make sure it was available. No answer. We tried 3 additional times, no answer. Talked to the operator at the call center. They could not reach out to them, Call center left a email with our information no call back. Frustrated and disappointed we contacted the Millenia Mall Location, which was even further, they picked up first ring, answered all of our questions. We ended up working with "Mo" Not only did we purchase the living room set, we purchased a dining set also and some additional pieces.Sadly there is no customer service anymore, however Mo from Millenia Mall nailed it! Would encourage the staff and management to take note how that store runs it's location. We will continue to shop this location even though it is 1.5 HRS away.

*BUYER BEWARE**** Had a reclining sofa delivered today and delivery guys dropped it and broke the frame. Then, they actually brought it inside and were trying to leave it after my husband saw them drop it off of the truck. I refused it and downloaded video from security cameras that shows how they dropped it off the back of the truck. They charged me $100 for delivery. I'll be cancelling my order and credit card tomorrow.

I came to this store a little over 2 years ago to purchase a new mattress, bed-frame and bedroom set. All I can say is that this was one of the worst mistakes I made in my life. To start the employee who helped us knew absolutely nothing and looked completely disheveled, sweaty, and almost possibly drunk. The employees lack of knowledge led me to buying a mattress (for thousands of dollars) that wasn’t supportive enough for my back. Nor did he explain that tempurpedic beds sleep hot and offer less support the hotter they get, which I mentioned sleeping hot was a problem for me. Now onto the disappointing quality of the furniture itself and the "assembly team" who delivered it. The furniture itself looks and feels cheap, draws don’t align properly and feet are uneven on the dresser the whole thing looks like it was made in a Chinese sweatshop. But I could live with that, what I can’t live with was the improper installation and setup of my bed frame. The "assembler” did not properly install all the supports on the horizontal slats that the mattress lays on This has led to me my mattress sinking well over 6 inches over the course of my time having it. Due to the poor quality of the mattress and bed frame, I have been dealing with debilitating back pain for over a year. TLDR: don’t support this company, its product is subpar trash and so are its employees.

Walked in for a dresser for my son and the employer Homeira was very kind and helpful .

I made an online order. I took time off work to be available for delivery. I get a call the day before telling me there is a partial back order. I kindly ask that the accommodate me by simply leaving the back ordered lamps in my code secured delivery door and they refused. I am single dad of 2 minors and I work 6 days a week across 2 jobs. A little bit more communication and a lot of customer service would have gone a long way.

The manager was fantastic! The salesperson was distracted trying to get the business of every customer walking by. This made it difficult to give her customer quality attention.

I went to store and in maybe 45 min I was out with my new bedroom set and fast delivery.

I came in And bought an outdoor umbrella, and it took nearly 30 minutes to ring me up. It’s ridiculous how much paperwork is done for a Big purchase let alone a small purchase. At least next time I’ll know if I need to come in and make a quick purchase. Ashley’s is not the place to do that.

Friendly and knowable staff

The worst experience I have had. Delivery was delayed and when the order finally came it was missing parts. We cancelled the whole order and sent it back at the time of delivery. Two weeks later we were contacted and told delivery had been setup again. We found out the sales lady had resubmitted the order without our permission. We cancelled a second time over the phone. After a month I spent an hour and half in customer service line trying to find out where was our refund. The line went dead and to a customer survey came up on the phone. We had to submit a dispute with our bank and finally after almost 2 months we got our money back. They are horrible and I do not recommend purchasing through Ashley furniture! Never again!

Hi, My husband and I were so excited to come to Ashley Furniture store to purchase a new sectional couch. Rose was extremely helpful with finding us one.. So excited to get the couch delivered, and when they were unboxing it, there was a few pieces that were all dirty. I was so upset! How could they delivery a dirty, expensive couch to us like that.. wow Second time for delivery, I had to be home and wait for them and the exact same thing couch came all dirty again. Ugh this is awful!!! We spoke to manager at the store ( it took days to finally get a hold of her. Phone goes straight to Philippines, you can’t even get a hold of anyone in the store and half of them don’t speak good English and can’t understand what you are talking about. Very frustrating when you can’t get a hold of the store directly. Finally, we were able to get a hold of the manager. She said she was going to give us a credit toward the couch for everything that has been happening. . We have never received the credit she not very helpful to say the least or apologetic on what happened with the couch. I will never be shopping at this furniture store again! I highly recommend you shop someplace else!! Worse experience ever!!!!!

Was told that a piece of furniture came with a feature by the sales agent at time of sale after asking multiple times to confirm. When furniture was delivered it didn’t come with feature. Had to call sales agent Homi and after her giving multiple excuses I had to call store manager and got office manager and was told I could come and get the feature and install myself. I said no I paid for delivery and install. She then made sales agent bring to my house. The next time they came to deliver they would install the feature. Well that day came and installation crew said NO and spoke no English so we couldn’t communication and were very rude to my wife so she called store and store manager tried to get a sales person to talk to them they hung up on store. Also they also signed my wife’s name on sheet after she said no because it wasn’t done. So store manager had to come to my house and install. Still have not heard from my call to corporate office and complained. Store manager told my wife he would be calling me to discuss and figure out compensation for all of this. Please call me.

Mike at the Altamonte store was great

Poor customer service. Delivered items with missing parts. Had to wait two weeks to use the furniture. Was told I had to build one of the items. At the head of the bed, there is a gap with the wooden slabs and mattress is sinking. Much better customer service from Wayfair. Update: After a while, someone did come to inspect the furniture and did notice the gap. Installation of the slab feet was not done and still pending. Since then I have received no communication. I did receive one email from this review, but after responding, no further communication was initiated. If something is wrong with your furniture expect extremely poor customer service.

RATHER THAN REPLACE IT, WE GET TO WAIT MONTHS FOR PARTS. WE WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!!! It is 10/31 and we have heard nothing from the solutions people. This is a garbage company!!

I purchased furniture back on 7/22/2024, and it's been a nightmare. I still have not received all my furniture, and my orders have been pushed back about five times now. I asked my sales rep to have the manager call me regarding my orders, and I still have not received a call. They were also supposed to waive the delivery fees per the manager, who never called me back, and they still haven't credited me back. This would be the last time I ever purchased my furniture from Ashley Furniture store I spent over 6k and I can't even get a store manager to give me a call back about my orders. My bed frame that was delivered to my house 4 months later had dirt marks in the cushion head board there was also black smudged on the railing of the bed. I sent the pictures to my sale rept and she advised I wouldn't be able to get a replacement bed frame and board until November… remember I already waited 4 months for my bed because they keep pushing my order back.. Smh And to top it off they charge my Ashley credit card 3 times for amounts that where never authorized I reached out to my sales rept Rose Clark and she advised she is not working and couldn't assist me to call the store who you can't even get in touch with.

Had the absolute worst experience at the Ashley Furniture Altamonte location. We stopped in with every intention of spending money at this location but the sales lady was so incredibly aggressive that it made the process so uncomfortable. She hounded us like prey and did not listen to anything I said or asked, instead she rambled… so much… all these numbers regarding prices, financing, warranty, etc before I even found something I liked. After being followed around for several minutes and being interrupted by her over and over again while trying to discuss decisions with my wife, I told her I’d let her know if we had any questions… she didn’t take the hint and continued to follow us around, so I asked for some space while we browsed and tested out furniture and that I would go find her when I was ready… That lasted for about 30 seconds and she was back, interjecting her opinion and telling me what I would love (how does she know what I love when she hasn’t listened to a word I’ve said?) I really wish I was exaggerating on 30 seconds, but I’m not… This happened at least three more times. My wife and I even joked that we needed to run to the next furniture set so we have time to talk before she was back interjecting herself on a crazy rant. I couldn’t believe this was actually my experience while furniture shopping, it was worse than any car dealership I’ve ever been to and her behavior and explanations were so bizarre that I legitimately felt like I was being pranked. We left and spent $10,000 at Macys furniture store down the road, where we had a great experience with Maribel.

The in store ordering was good, and the delivery drivers were amazing, however the headboard was cracked and we reported it immediately. They said I would hear back in two days, and I still haven’t received anything. They called two days before the delivery to say that two of the kids mattresses wouldn’t be delivered on time. The delivery was scheduled for 10/31, however I was told the mattresses were delayed and would be delivered on 11/1. I get a call on 10/31 after the 1st delivery saying that the mattresses would not be available and delivered until 11/2. I asked a second time as I knew that was a weekend day. On 11/1 I get a text to reschedule the delivery AGAIN due to the item not being available. When going in to choose the delivery date, the 1st available wasn’t until 11/5🤦🏾‍♀️ At this point I am over it. If it doesn’t arrive on 11/5, I will be canceling and ordering elsewhere.

Yesterday I went to Ashley furniture to furnish my new apartment & I had the pleasure to meet Max. Right when I walked in he greeted me & told me about certain sales & clearance items. I wandered around the store for a bit and then he approached me again asking if I could use some help. I explained the items that I was hoping to find for my new living room and he was extremely helpful. Max walked me around the store, making recommendations based on the pictures I showed him. I was surprised at his expertise! He knew exactly where everything was located & had a wealth of knowledge about the inventory. He was extremely patient with me and my particular taste — even moving furniture all around the store to show me how different coffee tables would look in front of different couches. He truly went the extra mile! I ended up taking advantage of the financing option that Ashley offers with no interest for an entire year so I will absolutely be coming back to get more furniture & definitely asking for Max to help me out!

Felt like i was at a car dealership. High pressure sales tactics. Sales rep (who I won’t single out because I’m not like that), appeared strangely desperate to make a sale. I went in knowing what I wanted, so it should have been easy but she just refused to LISTEN. If she hadn’t been so pushy, we would have likely kept shopping for more, but she made us just want to get out of there. At checkout, she tried to add on a warranty that I specifically said I don’t want. Be advised too, all the recent google reviews are no coincidence. She literally said “open up your google account and go to the page”. Then once on the Ashley furniture store, she said “ok press 5 stars and then leave a good review. Make sure to include my name”. Absolutely bizarre behavior from a store. If you earn 5 stars, I’ll give you 5 stars. Unfortunately, you’re getting 2.

Wife and I bought our couch here last year . We had good service and purchased the 5yr warranty because we were told specifically from our sales rep that it would cover damage from a pet. Well we were lied too. They do not cover that type of damage. Now my couch has minor damage and I am SOL. I will never purchase from this store again.

My experience there is not because of the furniture. I won't mention the salesman's name, but he was super irritating!! I couldn't even look at the furniture with my wife without this guy following us and listening to ur conversation! I was ready to leave before I said some things to him . I understand they get paid on commission but COME ON !!

* edit to add* Since Ashley's response below absolutely nothing has been done. We're still waiting for someone to come "fix" a product with defects that anyone can see can't be "fixed". We reached out an emailed as they requested - and nothing. Their response below is only to make it seem to people reading this review rhat they attempted to remedy this, thus comforting future buyers. They've done nothing. Proving full circle - this is a terrible location/company. Save yourself the time and headache. We ordered a couch, loveseat, chair, ottoman, entertainment center, bed frame and dresser - originally supposed to arrive the 6th. We got it the 13th. Three pieces of the 4 piece entertainment center are broken - won't send replacement but will send someone out to "see if they cam fix it" on the 23rd. The worst in store experience and the customer service since has been such a hassle we're thinking of telling them to come pick it all up and give us the mo ey back. There are too many furniture stores around here to waste your time and amazon has the EXACT same furniture for a third the price. Probably faster delivery too. Not worth it to go here, find literally anywhere else.
