I ordered 6 items on the November 10th 2 items out of stock until march April and 1 was missing on my delivery!!! !!!! And no notices about it!!! I have to go in the store to see what is going on!!!!! I was delivered only 3

I went into the Boca Store looking for a queen size sleeper sofa as well a dinette set for my eat in kitchen. Keith was my sales associate. He was very knowledgeable and very professional. Very disappointed here, I bought a chair last week and was told I am able to go to the distribution center this weekend to pick up and when I get there they tell me that they have none. I order a couch and the sales rep tells me I will be getting it all at once after first being told it would come separately. I just don’t like the poor communication and getting people’s hopes up. The guy was nice and all but it would be better if yall were a little more organized.
Don't waste your time here. They will use scare tactics and manipulate inventory so that they don't have to honor advertised prices. False advertising! I went in to buy a bed set, couch and mattress and they tried to sell me the bed set at full msrp when the site advertises it on sale hundred lower. I well be making a refund and take my business else where.

Purchased a couch, carpet and coffee table from Ashley Home Store. I am disappointed with the quality of the couch and especially with the customer service/repair department due to how many times they cancelled my appointment on me to get my couch and coffee table fixed. My couch still never got fixed, the cushions are creating little humps underneath the fabric. I don't even sit there. When they attempted to fix my coffee table, they drilled the top on backwards. The 7th or 8th appointment I finally got it resolved, but now there are visual defects. Huge waste of my time. I will not buy from City or Ashley ever again and I will advise others to do the same.
It was almost time to close, we met Carol who was about to leave for the night. She was patient and pleasant. Was not in a hurry, she walk us through advising us on our purchase. Very efficient and fast completing the paperwork. I would recommend her anytime @Ashley - Boca.

Giving 2 stars because I loved the furniture selection in this location's showroom, but Michelle was rude and took advantage of my situation. I came here while visiting family in the area, and already had another order placed at a different Ashley back where I live in Wisconsin. However I preferred the furniture I saw in person in Boca and decided to cancel my original order. Michelle told me the shipping from Florida to Wisconsin will cost hundreds more than the cost for local shipping, but when I told her that I'll just go order it back in WI then she insisted that the furniture I picked was only available regionally in the south and I can't order it back up north to save on shipping. I was naive and took her word. Well I found out when I went back to the Ashley in WI (separate reason) that I could have placed the order for the furniture I liked more in FL through their store after all because everything just comes from national distribution centers. This whole experience ruined the Ashley brand for me as a whole.

However, the same cannot be said if other staff members, some of whom didn't even lift there head from their phone while speaking to me. I walked the entire store without one person asking if I needed assistance. And when I found someone she was rude, dismissive & distracted by her laptop. I really like the contents of the store but will not shop where common courtesy & customer service is non existent. Five stars to Keith. Zero to the rest

I was a little disappointed in my visit today because I asked to buy a city furniture $1000 gift card for a client and the guy that worked there told me they only had ashley furniture gift cards and I knew my client didn’t like ashley furniture so he sold me the ashley furniture one and then I asked the girl at the front desk if they had city furniture ones and she said yes so I asked him to return the ashley furniture one and change it to City furniture and now I have to wait a few days till he can change it and go all the way back to pick it up Round-trip for an hour from my house to pick up the gift card since my client does not like ashley furniture. I do not know why he said he had no city furniture gift cards without even looking! What a waste of my time and what a lazy guy not to check to see if he had the cards before wasting my time and making me now return that one and come all the way back to pick up a new one. I’m a big customer at your store if you look up my account and what a waste of time for me since he couldn’t even check to see if you had a city furniture gift card, which was right in the desk right by where he was standing. Thank God, the girl at the front told me you did ..or I would’ve had to hand my client ashley furniture that is not what I promised that I would get her!!! Very upset

I went to the show room found some pieces I liked the quality is average. A few days later I processed my order on the website and got an error page. The order never went through but they still charged my credit card!!!! Over $3,000 now I’ve spent hours on the phone with the call center in India and they basically say it will probably get refunded! I’ve had to open a complaint with consumer affairs and will probably have to call my credit card company and dispute the charges!!!! All this aggravation it isn’t with it! Will never do business with them again!
The first week of July I purchased $10k worth of items from Ashley. Everything was set to be delivered the last week of July, when the drivers came in to deliver, we noticed half of our order was missing, so we got on the phone with customer service and they said the usual "we apologize it will come in the next delivery" and they had to reschedule me for another day, meaning I would have to take another day off from work. The second delivery comes, and they bring the furniture in the wrong color, so once again we had to call customer care and let them know that this was incorrect so they took some of the items back and got me on a third day. Meanwhile, as part of our original $10k order, we received an adjustable base as a promotion. I was never called or informed that between the day I placed my order and the delivery date, they went out of stock. Originally, they told me "your items are reserved because you are on a schedule". The delivery driver was the one to tell me the expected delivery window will now be October-November, 4-5 months AFTER I placed the order. I have been countless hours on the phone with the Team Lead by the name Safari and another supervisor and no one can do anything. After all this, because the adjustable base was on back order Ashley Furniture without my authorization added the Wooden Slacks for the mattress to go on and charged me for it even though I did not need it because we were receiving the adjustable base. So they charged me without my consent, did not deliver in a timely manner, and continue to reschedule my delivery because they are incapable of organizing my delivery. Finally, I decided to upgrade to a King size bed and mattress to which they declined, I want to give them more money and I was fine paying a restocking fee, I just want to be able to sleep in my bed and put everything behind me. I demand I be able to upgrade to a King size bed, I am fine paying a restock fee, I want my bed and be done with Ashley Furniture

I was at the Boca store this weekend. It is conveniently located off Airport Rd. I took my mom to purchase a new love seat for her new apartment. I wanted my mom to feel important in choosing her new piece of furniture. As soon as we walked into the store we were greeted and assigned a lovely sales associate Portia. I explained what we were looking for and our price budget. She guided us to a few options and my mom made her choice. Ashley Furniture has great price options and styles that are trending now. The entire process was seamless. I even sent an email to request a change in delivery date and Portia took care of it immediately. I highly recommend shopping at the Boca location of Ashley Furniture. Looking forward to sitting with my mom in her new beautiful piece. Thank you!!!!
My experience at the City Furniture was great. Nik was an excellent and informative salesman. However I can’t give a full view of my whole experience since the large couch was damaged during delivery. I am letting them try to fix it. But that is only with the assurance from Ashley furniture that I will get a new couch if the repair cannot be done. I cannot except any dents. I’m still waiting on the delivery of my dresser
So I want to acknowledge my sales Mr. SAM VERY PATIENT AND KIND!!!! I was really indecisive about my choices but he was very honest and open to help me and spouse out. When I finally my decision on which bedroom set I wanted, he sat down with me and spouse through the whole process. Through the finances was kind of different which I excepted but he was very certain about me getting my bedset and he made it happened!! He was so so pleasant and patient with us. I truly appreciated his customer service skills. The Store was very clean even with painting going on. Thank you again Sam!!!!! We need more people like him!!!

Horrible Experience! I bought furnitures from this place with insurance that was promised to return my $300 after 2 years. Never received that check for it. I called customer service and got directed to the local store. I got email from an employee, who got permission from the manager, saying that they would give me a credit to pick something out at the store. I came, they didn’t honor it because the person is no longer working there. DON’T LET THEM SCAM YOU. The lady I talked was no accommodating at all! Unwilling to listen!
One and done. I walked around the entire store looking for a sofa and not one person approached me to help. I was invisible, apparently. No customers were in the store, but the sales people were happy just talking to one another and staring at their cell phones and work tablets. Zero customer service must be the strategy at Ashley.

Came to find a couch, bed frame, and table at City & Ashley Furniture but no one approached or helped us. We got dirty looks from workers. I’m not sure if it was our skin color, age, or appearance but workers only seemed to be helping white customers. Very disappointing. Ended up buying the same couch we wanted at Rooms 2 Go for cheaper.

This is the email I send to custumer service: The damage occurred when they were putting the bed frame together. They pushed the bed against the wall many times, I told them that they were scratching the walls , but they didn't care. They literally open 4 small holes in my walls. I just painted all walls. My apartment is empty, there was not more furniture, except from what they delivered. They lay all parts of the bed against the walls. Also there is oil black stains in the furniture, and black finger prints all over. The two men that delivered the items, were so disrespectful, raising their voice at me, shouting at me, and you. Scary situation. Iam very disappointed; very bad experience.

Had a great experience at Ashley. My girlfriend and I were looking for a couch and we’re able to find one that matched what we were looking for (and for a great price) in just a few minutes. It was not in stock so we had it delivered FOR FREE the next day. The delivery people gave us a 3/4 hour time frame then texted us 30 minutes before, and called 15 minutes before to make sure we were home. They brought the couch inside and put it exactly where we wanted it, and even offered to build it. All we needed to do was screw on the legs so we built it ourselves, so we declined, but it was a nice offer. Overall a great experience! Would definitely shop there again.

Shopping was easy. The delivery process was the worse customer service I have experienced. No accommodations. Just sit at home for the day and wait. I was told “sorry we don’t have control over deliveries”. We will surely take your money and then hang you out to dry. If you do not like that policy feel free to reschedule. Or you do have the option to cancel your order if you choose to do so. They simply do not care. Customer service is a thing of the past my friends. Update. Got my delivery at about 12:30. But got a call last night from their social media department asking me to take down this review. So I reposted after removing a star. Seriously.
I purchased a new bedroom set last week and was extremely satisfied on all ends. The product looks beautiful. The price is what I would have expected to pay and was a better price than other furniture stores. In addition, the customer service was fantastic. Elizabeth (Beth) helped assist me at the boca Raton location. She was knowledge about the products and provided me with different options and prices. Beth, also, provided me all the different options for warranty, imstallatiom, delivery, returns, and extra packages to protect the furniture. Beth was extremely patient with me, as it took a while for me to decide on what bedroom set I wanted. Beth was professional, courteous, and patient. Thank you Beth and thank u Ashley furniture.

Initially it was fine. Charlene was nice. After a while of looking around I found a sofa for my niece. Then a dining table. I wanted the table and was told I had to hire a moving company to get it.?? Of course she had recommendations of people. I said I have a truck and could take it myself. Charlene said I couldn’t do that. I talked to a manager and they were willing to lose over $1700.00 over a $350 table. If it wasn’t for my niece I would have walked. Now. As I was going to pay I asked about the “Special financing” Charlene ignored me. Then. For me signing up for the website I was given a $50 coupon to use. I showed them and I was told it Didn’t apply to this store. Again. I’m f it wasn’t for my niece. I would have walked away. I did buy the sofa, no financing. I’ll NEVER buy anything else from Ashley. NEVER!!!!! Terrible experience!!! In reality No stars should be given.
We had the most wonderful experience today at city Furniture with Pam. She was so attentive and kind and helped us so much and even helped us decide because we just were overwhelmed and she wasn’t overpowering at all. I can’t wait to do business with Pam again when we start looking again for furniture!!!!💙💙💙

No refunds allowed don’t buy here!!! I bought a sectional couch from this location. Rep was great with helping me get delivery and set up. It was never disclosed that this Ashley furniture is owned by City furniture and there is a no return policy. I am attempting to return part of the sectional couch which customer service is refusing. They state all sales are final once delivered. I bought 4k worth of furniture and my only option is to dispute it all or keep it all. Just want to return part of the couch. Now being forced to return the entire purchase. Customer service hangs up on you after refusing to help. Rep in the store swears she explained there were no returns. Never mentioned once during purchase.

Idk why they sent me a link to review them. But here it goes. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon by myself. Walked the entire store for 45 minutes. Store was relatively empty. There was more salespeople than shoppers. By a huge margin. Not a single one ever said hello to me. I walked around sitting on about 10 couches total testing them out even though I was already pretty sure what I wanted. I was right that couch was very comfortable like the online reviews said. Funny enough it was right behind the sales station. They sat at their station talking to each other, complaining, eating, no less then 8 of them walked buy me a potential customer sitting on a couch.... at a place... that sells couches. 1 walked by me like 10 times. She brought two other customers over to try and sell them the couch I was sitting on. I wasn't mad. I was just going to see if anyone was going to say hello to me inside of an hour, and if not go home and buy two of the couches online. Finally - a guy looked my way and said hello. I told him man.... I just been waiting her for over 25 minutes on this couch waiting for someone just to say hi. 5 minutes later I paid for the two couches and left. Whole transaction took maybe 2 minutes. The sales manager and salespeople here should be ashamed at themselves. Too dumb to notice a customer that's been patiently waiting to give them money. 2k in quick sales by literally saying hello. All of them need to find new jobs. If you are hiring salespeople go ahead and toss any resumes that have Ashley on their work history. They couldn't close the fridge door let alone a deal. The couch was nice though. Comfy. Good looking. Reasonably priced. If I ever need anything from here again - I'll just go look in person and order from home.

I got a Couch/Recliner and as soon as it got delivered I knew it was not good for us. I contacted our Sales Representative in less than 24hrs and asked for a restocking/reselection. The paperwork said I was allowed to do so. They shot me down on the Customer Service phone line. Gave me a very hard time and made me come back to the store to spend hours trying to do what the paperwork said I was entitled to do. The paperwork said I had to pay a restocking fee of $99 but they charged me more than $200. After was finally done, I was paired with a very nice salesman that was on his way out whose working tablet was about to die as he kept stating. I took him straight to the model I wanted and told him the exact configuration I needed but he said that I was wrong, that his tablet told him that option did not exist and left me with 2 options. One was Avery dark color that I did not want at all and the other one was the Ashley version of lower quality. I had to go with that one because it had exactly the set up I needed it and the color and material were acceptable. I tried it and sat on it and it felt fine. After total disregard of scheduling the 2nd couch got delivered. The Interior came ripped up, and it felt rock solid hard when sitting down. The driver called Customer Service. They said that a tech was being sent in a couple of days to fix the interior linen and that the sensation was normal until the material decompress after delivery. Nothing to worry about!. When the tech showed up he fixed the ripped fabric and said that the rock solid was not going away because that's how it's done. Nothing to do with the one shown on the store. Also told me that the one I wanted DOES exist and that the sales man was probably trying to push the Ashley model instead of the City Firniture model that is more expensive because he was an Ashley's salesman. When I called Customer Service back they shot me down even quicker and told me that they already gave me the "courtesy" of restocking/reselecting once, they did not care whose fault it was or that I was lied to, they just do not have the option to select on their systems and that was it. I have called so many times after, I went to the store again and spent hours on the phone right there, I have opened a claim with the BBB but they just do not care. I have been left with a couch that I can't even sit on to watch Tv unless I sit on a pillow. That's how bad it is!!!!! All that I wanted was to give them more money by getting a more expensive model, I'm willing to sign a waver if they let me change it but they just DO NOT CARE AT ALL!!!!
Great delivery: called, came,unloaded. Put furniture in the spots where we wanted them. Had white glove service( took the packaging/ boxes/ plastic with them). Easy in easy out. Great job!

Your business can’t even get my name right. I scheduled for the morning delivery and they change it to the late afternoon with no option for me to change it. It’s a problem after another one with your business. UPDATE: be aware that this store will mislead you, show you a couch model and quality in the store but you will be delivered a cheaper quality one, rock solid that it’s impossible to sit on and then will blame you and will not allow you to change it even for a more expensive one. They say they charge $99 for restocking but charge you more than $200. Then they mislead you to select something that you do not want and when you are delivered the trash they decide to give you, you are left with no further option. That’s it. You can’t even sit on the couch but they expect you to keep it and pay for it. I went for a couch and was left with a nightmare. I have a formal mediation claim and I will take them to court if I have to!

THIS COMPANY IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! The furniture I ordered from them is TERMITE infested! I had to fight with the company to send pest control out. They came and confirmed it was infested. Not just one piece, but TWO of the furniture pieces!!!! 3 phone calls (each time at least 2 hours on with them) and 2 emails later they still won't refund me! They keep saying it needs to be approved by corporate! They told me to keep the (termite-infested) home until they make a decision! Pest control came out 2 weeks ago and I called last week to get an update!!!! THIS IS CRAZY! I highly suggest staying as far away from this company as you can! Will be contacting BBB and the media about this.

We were shopping for a bedroom dresser and specific on the style, size and color. Daniel Lima met us at the door of this HUGE showroom and we told him what we’re were looking for. He took us to every single dresser matching our requests. Felt like we walked for miles as he pointed each one out for us. Daniel was so knowledgeable and patient. He knew the showrooms in and out. The piece was delivered yesterday and the driver was polite and right on time! Kudos to these employees. The only complaint I have with Ashley/City Furniture is the phone system. It is impossible to speak with a live person and that is frustrating as a consumer.

I wanted to share the great experience we had at Ashley/City Furniture on airport road. Our salesman John Gundlach was Wonderful. My husband and I had a lot of questions, were not sure exactly what we wanted, and John was patient, knowledgeable, and understood exactly what we needed, and didn't mind looking at multiple options, and all around great guy. Also, they have the best selection of furniture based on quality, which is hard to find today.

Terrible customer service and policies. DO NOT buy anything in store as I found out later that in store sales are final but you have up to 72 hours to return the same item if you buy it online. Of course the salespeople don’t tell you that in store. If you must, go take a look at the item in the store but buy it online so you’re not stuck with the item. Or better yet, buy from a store with better policies.

Very nice showroom with many options. I purchased a table and chairs, but a family member informed the same set was being sold on Amazon and another site for approximately 30% less than what I paid. I called the sales rep within 24 hours but they would not price match, however they did give me a hassle free full refund. I would shop here again but check the online pricing before making a purchase. I did not realize Ashley sold to third party, but I do now and will check pricing on Amazon and other sites to make sure I’m not overpaying. Good luck.
Large variety of furniture
Let me start with ALL the positives! The furniture was BEAUTIFUL. My sales associate was GREAT I got an amazing deal! Three pieces for $175. I bought a floor model which means you pick it up and take with you. I showed up about 7pm to pick up my purchased furniture. Unfortubately, the coffee table did not fit in my car so my friend with an SUV rushed over to help me. The pieces I purchased were located all the way in the back of the showroom. The nice lady at the foor was expecting me and greeted me with a FRIENDLY smile. However, no one would help or even offer to assist me with moving the furniture to the door. There were several male employees around, but no one offered (until the very end). The salesperson kindly opened the doors for me while we loaded the car. The furniture weighed more than me! Despite a couple bruises, the furniture looks FABULOUS in my new apartment and matches my wall unit PERFECTLY. I guess chivalry is outdated...atleast in Florida!!!

Here at 845pm to do a quick walk through to see if there is anything I would like to purchase. I would be glad to return to make a purchase. What should have happened was, the doors should still be open as the posted sign on the door states that the store closes at 9pm. If the store closes at 845pm or prior, then change the closing time to 845pm. I would have been glad to take the card of a sales associate had I seen something I liked and followed up with them the following business day to discuss a possible purchase. I would have been glad to leave the store by the posted time of 9pm. However, I will not return at any time now. I needed to make a substantial purchase for several items. I will go to Macys. I wasted my time driving here. Poor customer service, or lack or,especially as a store employee saw me exiting my car and locked the door as I was walking toward the building- you guys can keep your furniture. If this is how it is before a purchase, I don't want to even know what the post purchase experience would be like. Please update Google also to reflect your accurate closing time because it is not 9pm.

Customer service & quality worse than poor! I Purchased a brand new couch and they sent one with water damage. This would not have been a problem because they agreed to replace it. However, they keep canceling the day of replacement and I’m losing days at work. Additionally their delivery staff sets a time window and 3 times sent emails changing the delivery window .. It feels as though the Ashley organization has No respect for their customer’s time I also purchased a bedroom “set”…. the two side tables in the show room matched the bed frame which is pretty much a pure white. Upon delivery, I immediately noticed that the side tables were not white, but a cream / antique type of color . While their delivery team was in my home (they saw the color deviation as well) , I rejected delivery and they called it in right away to customer service. At this point, I decided to go with different color side tables because it’s very difficult to match whites. I spoke with the customer service person on the spot and rejected delivery. Explained I would like the $600 credited back to my original form of payment, they agreed . It’s been eight days and I’ve not received my credit. Apparently they are holding this as store credit! I’m finished with my furniture shopping & cannot use store credit …. I will be inquiring with the FTC as they are selling water damaged items as well as forcing customers to pay for their poor quality items & mistakes . Not properly refunding what I paid when they sent mismatched end tables?? Should they rectify this problem with crediting my credit card after I contact management , i will edit this review to reflect such. UPDATE - their social media team contacted me after this review & issued the full $600 refund back to my original form of payment. I greatly appreciated their assistance.

We honestly walked into the store with the purpose of window shopping. Just getting ideas about things we could do in the future. That quickly changed when we actually saw things that we really liked and at a reasonable price. On top of that our sales person Nestor was extremely knowledgeable, patient and went out of his way to explain every small detail. He answered all of our questions openly and honest and gave much appreciated opinions and options. So what started out as a window shopping trip ended up being a bedroom set purchase. The sales staff at this location are great let me state that. However, I purchased a $7000.00 bedroom set. When it was delivered it was put together in 5 min very quickly. 2 months later I sit in my bed and the bed drops. I removed the bed and saw how they installed the middle support leg. Totally incorrect. Tried called a few times was sent to different places no results. I tied to fix it and months later the same thing happened. I am a year and 2 months out of warranty and they refuse to help me and send anyone out to fix it. Said I should have looked when it was installed. Let me get this straight you want me to lift up a very heavy king size Mattress right after it was installed to check underneath. If I wanted to do that I wouldn’t have paid to have it assembled. Everything from Ashley breaks a year after purchase right after warranty is up. If you are looking for furniture I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

Ashley Furniture and City Furniture have lost my business with this terrible experience. I ordered a couch and accent chair for delivery, and warned my Sales Rep about the small entrance way to my condo. The couch did not fit, and after telling the customer care agent I spoke with I needed a minute to think; THEY cancelled my order and the delivery guys refused to come back with my accent chair that could have still been delivered because my delivery was "cancelled". The delivery guys hit a tree and complained to me around how heavy the couch was for them and that they couldn't lift it before proceeding to lift. I went to Ashley/City Furniture in person to see if I could swap my couch that was incapable of being delivered for an item of equal value. I got my original couch on sale for $700 off, so they decided the sales price was the value couch I would be able to swap for and had 0% wiggle room or sympathy for why a $1600 offer was not good enough for a couch worth $2300. After speaking with my sales agent and two extremely unhelpful managers later and making no progress; I decided to take my business for a couch to Rooms to Go. My sales agent Nick and the manager he called over told me they'd refund me $1900 when I had the manager called over to have the "restocking fee" cancelled because there was absolutely no way I way paying that for all of City Furnitures errors they adimetely attempted to make my problem. They refunded me $1800 charging me the restocking fee anyways. I told them the truth; you are effectively robbing me and I will have to mark this charge as theft; which finally got them to refund it, with some anger showing. I AM ANGRY, they can be as mad as they want. Got my chair delivered a week later FINALLY. Extremely disappointed with this experience and lack of professionalism, courtesy, and maturity found at City/Ashley Furniture.

I went sofa shopping two weeks ago to find a new sofa for my new apartment. I was pleased with the service at the actual store. The salesman was patient and thorough and got me the best deal. However, when it was time to receive the delivery, the delivery men attempted ONCE to get the sofa through the door before throwing their hands up and saying "it's not going ti fit." I had to return the sofa I loved, go back to the store, find a new one, and now I have to wait another month before the next one is delivered. I'm very frustrated and found the whole thing to be a huge inconvenience.

Sales side was just ok, I was overcharged for one of my pieces that I caught after I left the showroom but the sales agent immediately corrected it and credited the item difference. However the delivery process was not satisfactory. Delivery arrived 4 hours past the already 3 hour window. Unacceptable. I asked for a refund on the delivery and have yet to hear from my sales agent. Not a good experience overall!

Buying at Ashley and getting the insurance for furniture is no fun . It's a ripoff . When you do a claim they simply deny it for one reason or the other and in my case it was the worst experience ever . First they ordered the parts for my sofa and recliner then they came back and said the supplier does not have it . Then they asked me if I would accept a gift certificate and I said yes will accept . Gift certificate was issued and I went and redeemed it the same day . Later they wanted to cancel the gift certificate so I was like how can you issue a certificate to someone and then try to cancel it . Makes no sense .

We never received the cleaning kit that we paid for and was told it would be shipped to us which it did not. In hindsight I should have never signed forthe delivery as it was incomplete. We have gotten no response from customer service or our salesman Philip Harris since our purchase weeks ago. Started out good but turned to typical poor customer service just like any other furniture company. Live and learn...

After spending over 2 hours trying out recliners, I found one that was perfect. It was made by Ashley Furniture at the Ecru, Mississippi Plant. Made in the USA. I was with my husband and did like that salespeople had left us alone and let us just shop. I knew precisely what kind of recliner I needed. I have a rare spine disease and spend days and nights in my recliner. We found one that was perfect. I needed the recliner ASAP. I am very sick and the trip to and from City Furniture was extremely rough. I applied for an Ashley Furniture Store credit card and was approved for $5,000.00, only to be told by the salesperson we found, that despite the advertising and sign on the store, I was in City Furniture, and an Ashley Franchise. So I quickly applied and was approved for $3,500.00 at City Furniture, meaning that I now have two hard pulls on my credit. The Salesperson looked up the Cranedall Recliner I chose and said that the recliner could not be delivered until April 29th, implying that that was the first delivery slot available for my zip code. The salesperson also tried to upsell me on the common add-ons that pay his bills. He also suggested a recliner that I had tried out earlier, which was $500.00 or 50% higher than the one I wanted. After rejecting all the add-ons, we closed the deal. We had to ask for a printout of all our paperwork and then, being very tired and in pain, but happy I ordered and my needs had been met or so I thought. I didn't read the paperwork until the weekend, actually Sunday morning, and discovered that the delivery date given verbally by the salesperson was the possible date that City Furniture would stock the recliner because the recliner was on BACKORDER!! At no point was I told that the recliner was not in stock! To me, what was unsaid was a cover-up to make the sale! I was pissed! I call it lying, others call it misleading. Either way, the manager of the store was also there when we closed the deal, trying to make up sales on the common items that furniture stores do. Again, neither of the two, the manager or salesperson mentioned that the Cranedale recliner was back ordered! I was told I could cancel the order with no trouble or problems, but they are closed on Sundays. I called on Monday and told the store to cancel. They said fine and that I would receive a call from the credit division in five to ten minutes. No call thirty minutes later so I called City Furniture in Boca Raton again. I finally got corporate and at first, they tried to just give me a $1069.99 credit I could use at City Furniture for other furniture. I had to tell them that I wanted a full refund for the recliner and don't want to deal with the company ever again! I received full cash out and the removal of the charge from my credit card. I suggest if you have to shop with these people, you just look your first visit and take notes on the item as since they are an Ashley Franchise, plenty of stores both online and in the area carry the same items. I found the exact Cranedall recliner, in stock online for $300.00 less with in-home delivery. The City Furniture charges over $100.00 extra to just bring the recliner through the door and put the back on and plug in three wires. I hope this honest review helps the person reading it.

Horrible customer service from the floor sales staff. Jasmine was extremely rude when I called to dispute a charge on my invoice, which was something that INEVER asked for & she placed on my sales order, & her co-worker hung up on me several times, after Jasmine hung up initially. They refused to put a manager on the phone, as I asked for Bill, whom I met at the location when I purchased the furniture. Bottom line, you do not treat your customers the way they did. Extreme abhorrent behavior!!!!

I was promised by "Bryce" the owner of Ashley that I would be receiving a full refund for a restocking fee that I was mistakenly charged. I spoke into a number of people, including Harry ,Kate and others and STILL have not received my REFUND or any other promises that we made ! I've called , left emails and no one has responded. I'm hoping BRYCE sees this and get someone to move off the dime to resolve this problem, like I said in my earlier review, this is not a good reflection on Ashley know what I recommend them to anyone

If I could give negative stars, I would! We purchased a set of couches last year and buyer be ware... when you purchase from this location all sales are final... even when the items you receive are nothing like what you sat on in the store or have defects. I would suggest buying online so you have the ability to return/ exchange if you like something you see. So disappointed!

I do not recommend going to the Boca locatioN (they try to find ways not to honor pricing online- very deceiving) many of these facilities are franchised and can probably find a better deal. I’d go to either Fort Lauderdale or Tamarac or attempt further north Palm Beach NOT BOCA RATON AT AIRPORT ROAD… be a smart consumer!

I have tried to cancel my order at least 6 times. I finally had to dispute the charge with the credit card company. This has caused so much unnecessary calling and emailing. They just can’t get it right.

Run the other way! Staff in the store were very pleasant however had a horrible experience with customer service. I was told all items were in stock when the order was placed & set up delivery 3 months out which they said was no problem. In the mean time, I had received an email that the order was cancelled! Trying to resolve this was a joke; emails went unanswered, and two customer service reps were unable to tell me why or who cancelled it until finally a third customer service rep said it was not cancelled and still setup for the scheduled delivery. Then received another email that the sofa was on backorder. On the scheduled delivery day, I received some of the items. The sofa was on backorder like I was told and had to hear it from the delivery men that a table & chair set was also on backorder! I even called the day before to confirm the order and no one said anything about the table set. Another email came through to confirm delivery of the table & sofa but when I called to confirm, I was told it was sent in error. I finally received all items after 4 months but will never shop there again.

Too much nickel and diming. After spending $1000 for a couch I had to pay$149 to have the couch brought into my bedroom, otherwise it would be left in the entrance. Another $107 for a warranty. Everything is final sale - no returns or exchanges.

Wife and I were in the store a week ago - sales woman wasn’t happy with our indecision on purchasing a kitchen table. I called back last night to place the order. This time we got Pam. WOW! she knew her stuff and what she could do and trying to have delivery before thanksgiving. The only issues are they aren’t price matching to the website because the website is waiting for chairs to come in. Not sure that’s fair to the customer but for $100 over 60 months I’m not going to stress. Getting the table prior to thanksgiving is really important to my wife. She is handicapped and usually has to have her scooter and eat at the kitchen counter since our current table is a high top. She wants to sit with the family and have holiday dinner with everyone so she needs the table before thanksgiving. 🤞🤞. Thank you Ashley Furniture and Pam!!

Ordered a sofa 9/6 with soonest delivery 11/3. Called 11/10 and was told it will be here in July!!!! Why sell items you can’t deliver in 6 months?! They have my $2000 and I have NOTHING!!!! Worst customer service EVER!!
Avoid at all costs! Ordered my sons bed in November of 2021 and still have not gotten it. They charged me and never delivered the bed. Calling customer service is useless. Waiting on a refund so I can buy a bed for my son elsewhere! Update: Two weeks later still no resolution and no bed! Their customer service is awful! My son needs a bed and I need a refund to get him one. At this point I will just need an attorney I guess since they absolutely refuse refund. It’s really insane. PLEASE take your business elsewhere. I have had great luck and great service from Home Depot furniture. No showroom but they are beyond accommodating and helpful with any issues and orders arrive quickly.

Avoid it at all costs! Although I wish I had known this sooner, at least I can advise you not to even think about them. I made a purchase back in July, and the latest delivery date given was September 21st (probably sooner, they said). On Sep. 20th, no one had called me yet to confirm the delivery. I called them and was told the delivery has been moved to the end of October or beginning of November... Calling them to inquire is the only way to find out. They couldn't care less about the customer, not even to let us know in advance with a quick call or email. The options were to cancel the order or find something else. By canceling the order, you'd be stuck with no sofa until this date for no reason. Getting something else means trusting them to get the "other option" delivered on the date it was promised. But that's not the end. They've made another promise. The manager would call me the next day to see if there was anything they could do. It's been 2 weeks already... They don't deserve your time and money (btw, all payments have been made on time since the purchase). Ashley South, FL, Order #597326
*Update* - their comment said to contact them to resolve the issue. I emailed them as directed and no one ever got back to me. Will never purchase anything from this store again. I purchased a tempur-pedic pro-adapt mattress soft and an entire bedroom set. The store convinced me to purchase this special waterproof cover for the mattress and told me to never take it off. I had paid for premium delivery so everything was delivered and assembled in my home. I called for months after saying that the mattress was still very firm and was told over and over again that the mattress will take a long time to break in. This was the first mattress I have ever purchased and trusted what they were telling me. Last night, I finally removed the cover I was told to never remove to find out it was a medium and not a soft. I called customer service and they said that there is nothing that they could do. I never would have imagined that they would deliver me the wrong mattress and they should have told me to check when I called multiple times complaining that the mattress felt too firm. Part of me feels like they knew it was the wrong one and just did not want to deal with replacing it.

I needed a new bed. After viewing the showroom I found a queen bed that suited my needs. I had thought about buying a metal box spring however the salesman Hong suggested an adjustable base which he advised was made from metal and very sturdy. The price seemed decent so I decided on the adjustable base. I added a lamp and still got the discount for my purchase to receive free delivery. I thought the customer service was great and I look forward to going back to purchase a new dining table, buffet and TV stand.
We did not need to look for a salesman one greeted us. He was friendly he was professional and he was a font of information. He helped us with the two items we asked about and we were in and out in what I would consider no time flat. I always shop either at Ashley or city furniture.

This place is massive. Lots of options to choose from. I would have given this place 5 stars is Joseph was my sales person. He was extremely helpful with a floor model I was looking at. My actual salesperson was off putting, rude, condescending and short with us. She made the experience almost unbearable. I will not name her because people still need to feed their families. But management should reiterate how important customer service is. I felt like I was a burden to her. Thank God for Joseph. He really saved the day. Kind, patient and most importantly….knowledgeable.

Update at bottom….I had purchased a sofa. I’m on my fourth one delivered that is damaged over 3 months time being “backordered”. There is no return policy. Don’t let them tell you otherwise. It’s not ok when they say it’s ok. Do not accept the item if it’s damaged in any way, do not let them keep the product in your house until the new one arrives. You’re stuck! Your rights are now gone. If the product is damaged have them take it out of your house immediately. If not, they will keep sending the same if not worse product back to you. They try to be quick so you don’t notice things. They get someone on their speakerphone to talk you into “holding” the damaged product until the new one comes in. I found out by doing this, you’re screwed. You will never see your money back. Be very careful. I regret buying my item from them. To boot, the quality is one tad higher than IKEA. The price of my item was 2499. We talked to 1500. After looking at my item more closely being I’ve had 3 of them already, it’s not made to last. The wood underneath is cheap. The quality of the stitching is horrid. Each sofa delivered had a different problem. From slit with a razor blade I guess when they opened it, to the leather being Incorrectly put together, to the storage of the sofa on its side seemed for a year. I’m saddened I’ve spent a few hours with their customer service. The last call I was told I would not have to wait a month for a replacement I would get white glove service the following Saturday. I was almost happy. Then I get a text 2 days later saying the item is backordered. I had to call back and when I asked about this white glove service I was told I was to get for all my inconvenience taking days off of work to accommodate delivery. I’m told there is no such thing. As you can see they had responded my review. I had emailed immediately and after 2 days of no response I have “Kate” 3 more times. “Kate” ha. I bet there is no “Kate”. Seems all you do is copy and paste the same response to all reviews. Update — it’s September 15th and still no call and problem still not fixed

City furniture BUYERS BEWARE ...complete nightmare ....premiere delivery means dumps furniture ...doesn't unwrap ...my house was full of packaging after 2 hours of unwrapping and inspecting cause they give you call after delivery telling you you have 24 hours to inspect ...delivered 6 chairs and a "half of table " ....then just try to report a damage ....NO CUSTOMER SERVICE ....I was in tears after 4 hours ...then supposedly corporate called apologized and said they would handle in 24 hours ...it's 5 days later and nothing ...please don't buy from them ...I'm stuck with damaged furniture and nobody to help !!!! Read their reviews on Facebook ...all the same ! Terrible delivery terrible customer service

I really want Ashley Furniture to pick up all this furniture and give me a complete refund so I can take my business elsewhere. Bought living room furniture for my son who was going away to college in November. The sofa was delivered and they never installed a leg in the center of the sofa, a part critical for structural integrity. I am certain the sofa is now damaged and your escalation specialist won’t replace it even though it was delivered defective. We spent an hour speaking to someone weeks ago that was supposed to send us out the leg we haven’t received to date. That issue is still unresolved. On the same day we scheduled to have a rep come out and see about the chair that was delivered with a metal corner structure unsoldered. Today your company sent out a claim department representative that said the damage is a manufacturer defect and suggested we have it fixed ourselves because it will probably take another six months to replace. Can you imagine? Well, at least he was honest! That issue is still unresolved. I contacted the customer service department and they connected me to someone in your “corporate customer care department” and because they failed to ship me the missing leg they are insisting that I send a photo of the missing part so she can clarify what it is she needs to send me? What?! And we are still waiting for the side table on back order? I refuse to continue to call a department ironically called “Corporate Customer Care” that provides everything but customer care. I ordered this furniture six months ago! No one in your customer care department cares about your customers. Six more months is unacceptable!

DO NOT GET SCAMMED INTO BUYING A WARRANTY! It is a total scam. I submitted a claim that is clearly covered in the warranty and now I'm being told that it is from water damage therefore not covered. This was after they said it was normal wear and tear that was also not covered. Basically they will make up a reason to NOT cover abnormal damage. Does this look normal to you after 8 months??

But the sofa got delivered and it was not what I expected, I called and called and emailed and tried to get stuff fix immediately after deliver (literally same day) and all I hear was crickets Do yourself a favor a go spend you hard earned money somewhere else. City Furniture: Quality is so so, but price and selection are good. Unfortunately delivery service, customer service "reliability" is terrible. We've had 3 deliveries for just one order and had to send back the wrong furniture each time. We are still waiting for OUR furniture month later (even though our salesperson promised all was in stock and ready for delivery) Neither Karla Hernandez, our sales rep, nor the store manager have contacted us regarding our order. We have spent tens of thousands of dollars at City Furniture this past year but the bottom line is once they've made the sale no one cares as evidenced by the numerous poor reviews.
Not my cup s tea..slot of oversized stuff nd contemporary..the chairs to most of the dining room tables weighed a ton nd I personally feel their quality it not good looks like they try to make i up in the gaudiness of the items ..We were very disappointed ..I had bought a kitchen tables ,chairs nd cupboad years ago it was a piece of garbage the arm chairs broke within 9 months of purchase nd he drawers on the cupboard too it was all pressed board junk .overpaid by alot ..I kicked myself a 1000xs..beware beware ..
I will start off by saying amazing customer service from sales rep Veleta! I went in looking for a mattress and ended up getting a sofa too. From the very beginning Veleta was friendly and helped me narrow down my choices in sofas. She answered every question I had no matter what it was. This made my shopping experience a 10/10. Love my new furniture!

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS FRANCHISE ASHLEY FURNITURE! And since they are connected to City Furniture - be wary of them too! 60 DAYS and still waiting for placemats purchased in January 2022 (part of bigger living room and dining room package). When the driver was delivering the items in January, they were missing the placements - which was said on a recorded line to customer care and followed with customer care electronically with a "claim." The driver later relayed, per customer (lack of) care, that the driver made the delivery of all the items. I have asked (several times) for customer (lack of) care to produce the recorded telephonic conversation between the driver, myself, and the customer service the day of delivery - where I clearly state that "I did not receive my ordered placements." This conversation is the supporting documentation proving my case and they say; they retain all recordings forever! I've called and logged several "claims" with customer (lack of) care - with a typical we'll "get back to you in 48 hour." After 48 hours, 96 hours - 1 week, I call customer (lack of) care and the same retread statements..."we have to get research that"..."it will take 48 hours"....this has been going on for nearly 2 months or 60 days...."we need to conduct research for 48 hours".... I realize these are placements, but this miniscule concern has grown and festered into bigger concern with Ashley/City Furniture and their customer (lack of) care how they steamroll over the average joe... BE WARNED...today placements, tomorrow your piece of a sectional couch or the drawers for bedroom set!
My sales person Portia was the best she stayed till closing with me, answered all my questions and helped me with my selections also went above and beyond Ashley's is very fortunate to have her.

The delivery team appeared to be professional - however, they left styrofoam on my carpet, damaged my wall (because they failed to use blankets as any reputable mover would do) by hitting it with the metal part of the footboard - tearing a chunk of drywall and coats of paint out of the wall and then acted like they didn't do it - even said to the call center "If we did it" - when you hit the wall you both looked back at the damage done! Left smudge prints on my wall - not small marks but hand sized smudge prints Upon setting up the bed, they finagled the underbed leg support - put it at an angle because the slats to the bed somehow rubbed up against one of the drawers. THEN the second drawer was installed with cracks in the wood. All of this was reported to the appropriate departments. However, it took multiple calls to get someone to schedule an appointment to have someone come out to repair the bed. THEN I receive a replacement drawer that I cannot use because all of the hardware from the original has to be removed and drilled into the new drawer. I have no idea who to call to do this.I also called their customer support number twice today. The first time my call went unanswered for 17 minutes - so I hung up. I called back and decided to stay on the phone until someone answered. I was on hold for 47 minutes before someone answered. Then I had to be transferred to the "In-Home Damage" department and put on hold again. No one answered. So after about 9 minutes, the original customer service agent comes back on to tell me that they can give me a check for $95 or an in-store credit of $115 in response to damaging my wall. So wait, $95 does not cover the amount of time I have sat on-hold just to speak to someone, nor the time it will take for me to find a reputable person who can properly fix the dry wall and paint it without the damage/fix looking obvious. I WISH I could include photos...

I ordered 4 chairs from City/Ashley furniture, and waited six weeks to get them. Ok so they took seven weeks, and I only got three out of four. The backordered chair was supposed to take another four weeks until I complained online, and lo and behold, it was available the next week. I received an email the night before telling me that the backordered chair was to arrive within their delivery window of between 4:30 and 7:30 PM, and so I planned my day accordingly. The next day I got a call from the driver at 10:00 AM telling me they would be there within two hours. So I cancelled a doctor's appointment so I could be home. Well, they never made it until 1:45 with a lot of phone call from me in between - some answered - some bot. When they got here they had no explanation for not being here on time and also no reason that the email was changing by five hours and get this: I paid for premium delivery and set up but the chair and the base came backwards, and they, yes, were just going to leave it. I told them if they couldn't make the chair with the back in the back and the base facing forward, they could take the chair back. After a little "consultation" they took the chair apart and reassembled it the right way. So, if you want your blood pressure to rise and you want to be lied to then I think you should buy from them. Otherwise, buy from a reputable firm. not City or Ashley!
Purchased a floor package - it was three pieces Salesman didn’t offer to help me outside the doors with. I had three kids that I had to trail back and forth with. Boca location is always never helpful. I will make sure to stay at my local store instead.

We walked around for 30 minutes and no one offered to help us. We finally were able to flag someone down because we were interested in a specific table (please note, it was $300 cheaper on their online store so make sure to double check- they will honor the price difference). The saleswoman was quite rude with her tone. During the MIDDLE of placing my order, I decided to FaceTime my partner to ask if he wanted to build the table or pay the $100 (please note, we have purchased Ashley furniture before and find the furniture much harder to put together than other brands)…well the saleswoman just walked away to help new customers that arrived. She never returned and nobody came to help us. Needless to say, they lost that sale. They should work on valuing all customers.

If only there would’ve minus star option I would’ve gone for that complete rip off and rude. 6 months Bach I got my daughter’s bedroom set and my dining table with chairs and server out of which my dining table was defected I called so many times as my sales rep Sharon Wisdom vanished even though I went to store she didn’t want to waste time on a replacement she preferred sales. Their customer service phone reps are very helpful but the sales people very rude. Never ever I will recommend anyone to waste money their where there is no after sale service. Today I saw something online for which I went to exchange my dining set Arthur Miller helped me was very polite and placed the order stating the difference amount I will have to pay I said ok as I hade my Ashley card, but when I was on my way home I saw my Ashley card was charged for the entire amount I got shocked then I started checking the invoices my initial invoice was showing more amount paid then they were giving me credit voucher for. For which I was trying to explain for good one hour losing my patients that the credit given back to me is less but still they were insisting that I had a refund I showed my Ashley card statements that nothing was refunded then came Mr Juwani Taylor with a new story when I showed my invoice that this is an invoice showing balance I don’t know where you come from and I don’t know this invoice whether paid or not I should him exact amount pulled from my Ashley card same date as of invoice 05/09/2021 he was cold still insisting I was wrong where o lost my temper and raised my voice but didn’t shout at all FYI but yah for the first time raised my voice where he instead going through again was on his same story so I asked him to cancel the exchange order and now Ashley is done from me never to be recommended. But yah those who really want to waste there hard earned money please enjoy.

I found a sectional sofa online and went to the store to check it out. I wanted to see the color I wanted and asked for help from 2 different sales people. Neither one of them wanted to be bothered with me. I ended up making my purchase online and when it got delivered it had a huge rip in the back they tried to hide. I had to wait over 3 wks before they came back out to replace it.

I have taken off work each time only to find that morning of they " changed " the date. When calling to get resolved I cannot even get a call back. WASTE OF YOUR MONEY. We were grewted by an associate named MO who spent the next 2 hours working with us. he was very knowledgeable and patient while showing us options on dining room & kitchen nook table and chairs. we moved from there to mattresses and bedroom furniture. My wife changed her mind three time before finding just the right solution to meet her needs. all throughout, MO worked with us to configure and the reconfigure our order. finally, he worked closely at the end with his supervisor Zane when it came to discounts, financing, protective service packages and delivery scheduling. given that he had only held the position for two weeks, his ability to deliver on all our needs with professionalism made the experience a delight. We received an email confirming the cancellation but her nasty UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE was a turn off to shop their again . Ashley Furniture/City Furniture in Boca was a great experience! My sales representative Cindy S. was awesome! She was patient with my family and I (my 6 year old didn’t make it easy). She met all of my requests and needs and even worked with me to change my order days after when I changed my mind to another option! She made the purchasing process extremely easy too. Went in looking to buy this coffee table. They made me a great deal, 2 for 1, a coffee table and an end table for a great price. They delivered the end table, and not the coffee table. They then said they made a mistake and could not honor the original deal. After speaking to the manager Jason, who was behaving as of this was my fault, he refused to honor the deal and was quite rude about it. Horrible public affairs and customer service.

I went to Ashley home store/City furniture in Boca Raton to shop for a sofa and inquire about mattress deals. I wasn’t initially greeted when I entered but it was ok. I ended up running into Karen Malanum who was super helpful. She was tenacious and determined but she was also patience. Her patience is what sold me and I knew at that point if I were going to buy it would be b/c of her. I didn’t buy anything that day but subsequently on July 5th I returned and called Karen. I ended up buying a mattress and adjustable base for a great deal. Thank you 😃

I should've listened to the more recent reviews before visiting this location. We walked around for 20-25 minutes searching for mattresses and no one offered to help. When we went to ask for some help, we were treated as though we were not customers but were children in the store. It was a horrible experience which is disappointing because Ashley's is normally such a nice place to shop.

Well let me start by highlighting exceptional work ethic and professionalism. ROBERT WRIGHT sales person what a delight. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of so meticulous, knowledgeable. It's the kind of service you just don't get anywhere anymore. It was so smooth from purchase to delivery of items. And to top it off I called him after having an issue with the delivery person calling and being incredibly rude on day of the delivery and he took care of it instantly, apologies and all from the delivery person made sure I was totally happy. So if your interested in having top knotch service all around he's your guy.
So my boyfriend and I went into Ashley Furniture located in Boca and we were met with a sales rep and we politely told her we’re just looking so we proceeded to do so. Once we picked out the items of interest and she gave us our price I explained to her I was not willing to spend that much at this time but will gladly return, she then suggested we finance. That’s great I said but I don’t qualify at this moment due to my credit score to be honest and her response to me was “what do you do with your bills just throw them out?” I was actually taken aback by the remark and just proceeded to leave. I have purchased from this company before and have been extremely satisfied but that derogatory remark was completely uncalled for, very disappointing.
Stay away. I purchased a memory foam mattress and it didn't last one year. They did an inspection and found out that the mattress is defective but they are refusing to change it Even under warranty. Very disappointed

Wow I wish I read the reviews before buying from Ashley furniture . Normally we buy from city furniture for decades with no problems. So when we went to city that had Ashley connected to it we expected the same quality. So our $800 couch after 14 months is broken. I didn’t even know a couch could break. The seats are sunken it’s like sitting in a bucket now. Just like the other reviews said I tried contacting customer service for weeks with no answer. Then my wife finally had to actually go to the store and speak to someone and they told her theirs nothing they can do because it’s only a 12 month warranty and we should of bought the extended warranty. In all my years on this planet I’ve never had a couch even the cheaper ones from college days collapse or break over years and years. Ashley obviously is all about the sale and after that they do not care about you or your product. After reading these reviews I won’t even bother trying to get any more help about this from them because it’s super clear from the reviews they do care. I will take heart know this review will stop one or two sales maybe even more when they see the pictures attached. And don’t fall for the reply to these reviews that they are going to do something about it and they are sorry. According the the updates of reviews they don’t it just for show. But on the off chance they do I promise you I will update this review. If it’s not updated it’s because they did nothing. Don’t believe the smoke and mirrors.

I moved from NJ this week and all I can say is that Customer Service is amazing! They sell you what you need and look for the better price fit for you. I really appreciate the help of Mr.Sam and his colleges. They are all loyal to each other and helpful to every customer. I loved the fact of getting decoration in my package set. I was a fan of Ashley/City Furniture until my recent purchase about two months ago. If you purchase an item from them, make sure you are ordering the correct piece. I ordered two beds, but accidentally purchased the wrong size bed for my son (full instead of queen). I didn't realize it until the bed was delivered (WITHOUT ANY HARDWARE. The box was severely damaged, so I am assuming it got lost during transit). I then called the store to try to exchange it for the correct size and was told that once the item is delivered, they could not take it back. The bed was (still is) in the box... untouched. I wasn't trying to return the bed - I just wanted an exchange. As for the other bed, the box was not sealed; it was completely open (photo attached). That box should have never left the warehouse. The bed could have been easily damaged, but luckily, it wasn't. I ended up purchasing a bedroom set, dining set, and sofa at another furniture store. The delivery was timely... the drivers were professional, and as far as customer service goes, it was night and day. I couldn't post without giving it any stars, so I had no choice but to give it a one.

TERRIBLE. Friday 04/16/3021 I was more than three hours trying to choose my living room, bedroom set and mattress. EVERYTHING was back order????? Saturday 04/17/2021 i was calling to add something to my order, I dialed Mr Blanchard ext and the machine said “don’t recognize that number”??? Then i called the main number to speak with “any” sales rep and i waited 23 minutes and NEVER get a human been on the phone. I purchase was almost $6,000. I will cancel my whole purchase and i will go to another furniture store eith better customer service

Today I went to Ashley Furniture to purchase a living room set and a dining set and had the pleasure of being assisted by one of the associates, Connor. As soon as we entered, he asked if we needed assistance and allowed us to look at some of the furniture on our own first. As soon as we were ready for help, he was readily available. The living set we wanted was not in stock, but Connor helped us to find another set that was a similar color and within a reasonable price range. I left a happy customer and can’t wait for my furniture to be delivered!
Service after sale. We received two lamps boxed and left at door. After opening the boxes when i got home one was damaged. Since 2/14/21 till now no help to fix problem. Get run around when i call have spoke to many people and still no help. They claim to have a process to deal with problems. Seems their process is to wait until customer gives up. No way to treat a customer.
Spent almost 4000 on a bedroom for me and my kids. They delivered furniture with missing hardware so kids are sleeping on the floor because they weren’t able to put the bed together. The sales person forgot to include box springs and has yet to return my 5 phone calls . They rescheduled the delivery for another month making this now a 2 month process .
I purchased a bet set for my child and paid for the delivery with installation to make it easier for myself. The delivery guys dropped off the dresser, but no bed the first day. Then I call customer service to get an update. I waited on hold for over 2 hours. Then when I spoke to a representative, that could not give me any information. When I asked for a manager, I got one on the phone and was told she would have to look into it and call me back.... NO RESPONSE..... 3 days later, the rest of the bed came in the mail... even though it was very late and didnt come when they said it would. Then I had to put the bed together myself even though I paid for them to come and install this. EVEN WITH ALL OF THIS THEY CHARGED ME THE FULL AMOUNT!! it was several days late, lack of communication, manager still wont call me back. I am also on hold again right now for over an hour trying to get my installation fees back... THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO GET SOMETHING DELIVERED. EVEN WHEN YOU SPEND OVER A $1000.00 YOU STILL DON'T GET WHAT YOUR ORDERED. SO UNHAPPY !!!

The sales man Marcos was great went beyond his duties. The deliveries were terrible. I spent over $16,000 in one month there and all 3 of my deliveries were a nightmare. First one the tv stand was scuffed, doors didn’t close, plus the drawer to dining room table had a hole in it ,second one there was a lamp missing and dresser draw doesn’t close. And third one the sent over the lamp and it was broken. Paid for premium delivery and got nothing but aggravation. I’ll never shop there again.

What a great place! My daughter went into the store and was immediately helped by Annie who found the sectional my daughter wanted. She confirmed stock and delivery date and even took a picture to send to me so she could confirm it was the correct configuration. Annie was kind and helpful especially since my daughter was nervous about "adulting" lol. Really happy with the terrific service received and we'll be back for sure!

The delivery men scratch my front door, I comment on them, one of the delivery men says in a low voice that I am crazy. The delivery people are not happy. As you can see in the photo. $ 99 premium delivery paid for this result. I went to the Boca Raton store to make a complaint. The store manager replies that I have received my furniture. For them it is easier to sell than to honor their contract and signature.
My saleswoman was very acknowledgeable about the furniture. She helped me put my bedroom set together. She was very professional & pleasant.

Once you place the order you’re forgotten about. Customer service needs a class in what to do for customers whose orders have been detained or unable to fulfill in a timely fashion A reasonable monetary accommodation should have been offered. Anything positive that happened was our suggestion. Had to change order twice Still waiting for delivery since November Never again

BEWARE OF ASHLEY'S!!!! I purchased a section in January and was scheduled for delivery 02/14/21. I never heard from any associates regarding my delivery so i decided to call Customer Service. Not to mention i could't get through for hours and received a call back hours later after my initial call. I spoke to an agent and was informed my delivery will not be 02/14 and my sectional was on back order and it would now be delivered on 03/14/21. I asked why wasn't i informed of this or given an option to come pick something else out that would be available quicker. I was told I don't know. Guess what? The representative DID Not care. She did not try to come up with a resolution. I had to go into the store to find out why i wasn't informed my couch was on back order. I was then told my saleslady quit! I was so frustrated. I accepted the delivery for 03/14 with an adjustment to my delivery charge. Last night a receive a text my shipment is in final stage of preparation and would be delivered today. I was EXCITED! To mu surprise i was delivered a partial couch. The other half still on back order. Again no phone call, no communication if i even wanted a half a couch delivered. Horrible service, Horrible communication. BEWARE!!!!

I went today to purchase a sofa and lovesrat. I found one I really liked and the salesman he would check to see if there were any other discounts. he left me sitting there for close to an hour. when I went to find him he was helping 2 other people. when I got angry the manager came over to promised to refund the delivery charge. when I checked my invoice later they had not done so. when I called later noone answered the phone. Worst customer service I have ever received.

Don’t believe their promotions. I spent over $8,000 on furniture in October and was supposed to receive a rewards gift card due to a promotion they were running. I was encouraged by my sales representative Sarah to spend a little more than I wanted too in order to take advantage of the promotion. I have called and emailed numerous times with no resolution to why I haven’t received reward dollars. My sales representative will not return my emails and the store will not answer my calls nor get back to rewards department. Again don’t believe their promotions they use to lure you in.

Lamps were delivered, top of one was broken. We were told after completing Cs form the piece couldn't be fixed. Had to call to find that out. Told us replacement lamp would be out in January..backorderd..feb 24...backordered...NOW APRIL 11. We only need the piece to screw on the lampshade. Take a lamp or the piece from one of the stores. After 4 phone calls yesterday , was transferred 4 xs to VM. NO CALL BACK. FINALLY WAS TOLD MANAGER WOULD CALL. NOTHING. Don't shop here. 2nd problem and nothing resolved
do not buy anything here. My husband and I purchased a living room set and a rug, September 2020. We were here for two weeks & went back north. Came back down in December & the $500 area rug was fraying. Went through customer service to fill out a complaint.Never heard anything. Called back we were final told feb 4. Stay away!!! Worst service ever!!! They hanged the phone before you can talk. I bought 2 couchs in November 2020 one was delivered after a week and the second one never got it till now. I emailed the sales associate 3 times! He never respond back to. I’m stock now with one couch. I called the 800 number waiting 25 min on the line and they said i need to talk to the store. But no one answer there. Ridiculous

Bobby my saleman was very knowledgeable showing me bedroom sets. I told him what I was looking for in a dresser/style and found a set. The set was on sale and he explained if I paid it off in 12 months I would save 30%. I have shopped in Ashley before and seem to find what I am looking for, because they have good prices and quality furniture.

My experience at this location was awesome. The sales representative Christine and Chris the GM exceeded expectations. Christine was very patient even when we started to fill overwhelmed. I’ve ordered a chess that was deliver damaged in a box that wax upside down. Requested to have the chess replaced and the replacement was delivered upside down and damaged. I tried to get the movers to allow me to open the box in front of them since it was a replacement and they got very rude with me and threatened to leave without delivering the box. I had called Ashley the day before the replacement delivery and was told it would be ok to open the box before the movers left. Just very bad service all around, not thinking I will ever by from City Furniture or Ashley again. —Insulted customer

We visited most of you competitors in south Florida but he stood out among all salesman we have come across in all our years of buying spending many thousands of dollars at your stores. UPDATE: It appears the color set by the salesperson was wrong too. I reached out to the manager who replied to this review and everything has been taken care of. Couch was delivered as expected and in great condition. First time purchasing here. And last time. Went in store to purchase a sectional and a rug. I declined the 3 year in home plan and was still charged $126 for it. In addition, the rug I was overcharged when it showed $250, I was charged $299. Never going there again, if this does not get resolved I will file a chargeback.
The worst customer service I have ever experienced!
The only reason this is here is; now this is the same company as City Furniture so beware.. Masters of the DUMP & Run ! Let me start by saying our salesman was knowledgeable and helpful in making our selection. The problems started with the delivery notice. We were sent an ambiguous text that look like spam at 8pm on a Saturday night saying that our delivery would arrive between noon an 3 on Sunday.... Of course our delivery arrived at 10:30 am while we were out running our errands to make sure we were home for the time set forth by city furniture ! The drivers put our chairs on our door step took pictures and could not get back to their truck fast enough. Their actions were indicative of them being guilty of something. Knowing that our delivery should have required assembly and it was delivered assembled I asked the driver to wait while I inspected the delivery. He said "it doesn't matter if you don't accept it we won't put it back on the truck, if you are not happy call customer service". Just like that the 2 guys were on that truck and gone in 30 seconds. As it turns out all 4 of our chairs are damaged and 1 even has a hole in it. The Customer service department was closed our sales man said this issue is above his capacity, and to file a complaint online, a store clerk gave me 6 different phone numbers to call the same message center and a store manager would not even come to the phone. Meanwhile we paid for 4 NEW chairs and received 4 Chairs that look like a dog has scratched the heck out of them. CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DELIVERY ARE DEPLORABLE! This is the second bad incident with their delivery service, the first time they made a delivery they left our front door open and our cat ran away for 3 days.... Again nothing but empty apologies.

absolutely horrid. about a year ago, we purchased a couch and a love seat for our living room from this location. months later, the couch broke, and it felt like we were sitting in a hole. luckily, we had a warranty, so we had the ability to pick out a new couch and loveseat. we picked one out, made a delivery date, then said they didn’t have it days later. so we went back and picked out a new couch, new loveseat, new shelf, AND a new rug. upon delivery of the new items, they had only brought the loveseat, the shelf, and the rug. they literally did not have the couch. they didn’t even give us a phone call that they no longer have it. so we called the store manager, trying to find out what was going on, and now they’re saying we can’t get it literally 10 days from now? how unprofessional; our room looks absolutely horrid. i don’t recommend buying from ashley at all if i’m honest.

We always try to comeback to Ashley to give our business but today is really the most disappointing experience we ever had. We came to purchase bedroom set and we still did even after the crappy experience. But when the time we need to address the issue regarding the sofa we just bought in March (less than a year ago) we were told that we didnt have protection or whatever they call it; so we decided to just buy a new set of sofa (which is actually more expensive), a new center table and a new rug from them again. Even it means that we just need to throw a way a very crappy sofa we bought from them that is not even a year old. But the only thing we asked if the delivery men can help us bring the old sofa outside so the garbage truck can pick it up the next day. But we were answered with &"that is not our problem&" attitude from the salesperson. Even though I told her that we are willing to pay extra for that simple job. She even told me to just call the customer care flat straight (whatever right?), even if I ask her if she can ask someone that can help us. First of all, it is not our fault that they sold us a crappy sofa that looks like it has already been used for 10 years eventhough it is actually just a less than year old. Second, I am expecting you guys are a big company and should know by now that a lot of people still have their old furniture at home that needs help to be replaced, not all people are first time buyers that their home is totally empty. At least, be considerate and helpful with dispensing their old furniture especially if they bought it from you as well with hefty amount of money. Also, there are people who are willing to pay for convenience and you should give that option to them. So we just ended up leaving without the living room set. But, I guess the salesperson is not too motivated to make more sales which is fine with us. We will just bring our business elsewhere.
Do not buy from Ashley Furniture! The queen size bed I ordered arrived with a broken aid rail and I has to wait another week to get the replacement. Now the replacement arrives and the foot board is crack. I called and sent pictures. I called them today and they want to offer me a store credit to keep the broken bed WTF. So now the customer supervisor Ivan wants to schedule the new delivery 2 more weeks. Unbelievable they act like I did something to the bed when their driver did nor know how to put the bed together and forces in the side rail cracking the footboard. STAY CLEAR!&'! Experience over the phone was great Izzabella was amazing, she helped me through the whole process and made to order really easy and pleasant very polite and helpful !!! The store on the other hand they are very profiling depends on how you are dress is how they treat you we were ready to buy and many associates passed by us without even saying hello or asking if we needed any help . When we found Ava Aitken to help us after asking somebody else she hesitated to helps us and was in a very bad mood just sent us the quote and she was on her way . This made us feel very discriminated. But to each their own i will be making my orders over the phone from now on .

AMENDED REVIEW. BEWARE OF THE IN HOME WARRANTY! NOT ALL ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE IS COVERED. When we first bought our furniture the store manager sold us the warranty claiming that it was a good idea because it covered any accidental damage to the furniture. Well that was a gross misrepresentation of the truth and apparently not the case. Not too mention, when the repair guy came to the house today he did not call before he arrived, he did not let me know he was leaving, and he did not do any of the repair work that I called in about, even the part that was covered. It’s a much longer story but no need to go into details. Overall it was a pleasant experience when we first bought our furniture but when we had issues with it, then it wasn’t such smooth sailing. BUYER BEWARE!

We went in on Saturday the 24th to look for a bedroom set for my sister and we&'re greeted by Skyler who turned out to be great in helping us with our needs. We found the best set and Skyler worked with us to get what we needed and I have to say I&'m so impressed. Please ask for Skyler when you go there and you won&'t be disappointed at all.

When I purchased my leather couch, I also purchased the in-home service. I had the webbing underneath tightened once and was told I should do it again before warranty ran out. I called to schedule this. However, I never received the call the previous evening for time frame. After 2 hours on hold, I finally got someone who appeared to shrug it off. Ok, I’ll wait. When Don arrived, he said there is nothing wrong and it couldn’t be done. I watched Ed do this last time! He wouldn’t listen and tried to make me feel stupid. Horrendous!!!!!!!!! Spend your time and money elsewhere!

The piece of furniture i was trying to purchase was not in the store, it also wasn't in stock and then the other option I made would take 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. Well we worked with Andrew and he was awesome in helping find everything we wanted, walked around n around finding chairs, rug, sofa, dinning room set n lighting. I never felt like he was in a rush to get rid of us. Thank you for making our visit and purchase pleasant.
We purchased a leather sofa and chair from this Ashley location. The salesperson said it was a hybrid of leather everywhere you would come in contact with the sofa and faux elsewhere. Both ends of the sofa recline. The footrests are not leather and have cracked and look horrible. 5 years. What a waste of money.

I purchased the Hallenberg 2 piece sectional sofa back on 6/28/20. I paid over 1,000 dollars CASH for the sofa. They were delivered on 7/13/20. The sofa came defective. I realized the sofa was defective on 7/16/20 when I went to remove the tag that was hanging from the armrest. I immediately called Ashleys Furniture to request they replace it. They told me due to COVID the sofa was not available to be replaced until 8/20/20. On 8/19/20 a representative called me and told me that unfortunately due to COVID they will not be able to come replace the left love seat until 8/23/20. On 8/22/20 another representative called me and told me unfortunately due to COVID they have to reschedule the date to 9/2/20. On 9/2/20 I receive a call a representative named CHANEL, who apologized to me saying that due to COVID they have to reschedule the delivery date to 9/5/20. I asked her to please verify with her superiors that they are going to deliver my sofa on 9/5/20, because I am an essential worker and I will have to take that day off from the hospital. She ensured that it was going to be delivered on 9/5/20 and that somebody was going to contact me the day of delivery and provide me with the "delivery window time". On 9/5/20 I waited until 12:30 pm and did not receive a call from Ashleys Furniture. I called them to question the time they were going to arrive. The employee named John ID 55 apologized and told me that the sofa was not going to be delivered once again due to COVID and that the next date of availability was going to be October 20th. I asked to speak to the district manager and he said he could not provide me with neither an email nor a phone number to contact her. He told me the director of operations name is Laura Hoehne and the best way to contact her is via mail. He told me the address where I can send her the letter is 6701 North Haitus Rd, Tamarac, FL, 33321. I mailed her a letter on 9/7/20 and I have not received neither a phone call nor a email from her. I called Ashleys Furniture (Boca Raton Location) again on 9/20/20, I spoke with another representative named Leonardo who guaranteed that the sofa was now going to be replaced on Sunday 9/27/20. I specifically told him that I have heard that plenty of times before and I want to confirm this with his manager. His response was that his manager is going to tell me the same thing he is. And OF COURSE, it was yet another lie. The last person I spoke with was a woman named ELLEN who apologized to me and told me that as of now they do not have a set date to replace my sofas due to COVID. This is now FIVE different times that this company tells me they are going to deliver my sofas, and they dont due to COVID. I am a front-liner at one of the busiest Trauma Level ONE hospitals in South Florida. I understand that covid has put a halt to many things, HOWEVER, that does NOT excuse the unprofessionalism on this company's behalf! I even took a day OFF expecting their arrival, and they did not even have the decency to call me and inform me that they changed the date of delivery. This makes me believe that they take me as a joke, and I am going to contact Consumers Affairs. I NO LONGER WANT THE SOFA. I WANT MY MONEY REFUNDED IMMEDIATELY! This is NOT how you treat your loyal customers!!! My aunt ordered a sofa in may. Because of covid they said it would be delivered in September. Now they say sometime next year. The customer service phone center treated her rudely but that was nice compared to how she was treated in the store. They &"offered&" her another sofa for an additional $600 and said they were going to deliver and set it up for free. She had already paid the delivery and setup fee when she paid for the first sofa!!!!! This is scamming of a senior citizen. Buyer beware!!!! Bait and switch practices at its finest.

The replacements they brought are worse than the original! Today marks the SIXTH time someone has come out to replace damaged furniture and they brought the wrong furniture!!! What a joke!!!! I will never purchase from this store again or send anyone here EVER!!!!! Never ever purchase from Ashley Furniture!!!!!!! Over $9k wasted!!!!

I called to inquire on a bedroom set. The rep who answered the phone sounded new and couldn’t answer all my questions (she was still very nice) unfortunately she put on a rude “veteran” with no customer service skills named Donna. She wouldn’t listen to my question instead she talked over me. To which I asked if she was the manager and if not could I speak to one. I was hung up on I then called back and Donna accidentally knocked the phone off the hook not realizing I heard her bash me for a good minute until she realized. I then asked her for a manager AGAIN because it was extremely unprofessional to which she just passed me back the my original SA. I have filed complaint with their customer care team and took my business to the Ft Lauderdale store who treated me like a customer deserves to be treated!!!

This store is a disgrace. I will be contacting BBB next . I purchased a table Saturday. I was given a window of delivery from 10-3 pm today only to be called a few minutes ago from the WORST SALES rep Doovenson to tell me &" I don&'t know how to say this but we sold your table to another customer , that picked it up last night &" come back and pick another table as this one is out . Are you KIDDING ME ????? 4 days to figure out you sold me an already sold table. When asked what are you gonna do to redeem this horrible mistake - he did not know. This is awful !!!! The store has the worst management, personnel I have ever encountered. They just lost 10 k furniture sale !!!!

We live in Boca so it made sense to come here and try to find it but in hindsight, we should have driven the extra half hour to the other location! We loved that there really was no pressure while we browsed, but we now understand that it's when you cash out that they get you. We ended up finding our sectional, and added 3 more wall pieces. My husband is closing out and this is where the issues start. Charlene did a full 180°. She would get visibly upset when I would question the extra charges. She changed the financing without even explaining what it meant and racked up an extra $1000 on the sectional itself. I asked for the breakdown and she would shortly YELL "I sent it to his email!" One of the wall pieces was $399, with a 30% off. She took it upon herself to decide that we would be better off financing it and only taking a $100 discount on it, as opposed to explaining our options and letting us know if we pay with a separate credit or debit card, we can keep the $120 discount. It just made no sense. She wanted to explain nothing and just get the sale over with, making decisions that she had no business making. What annoyed her more was me, rightfully so, asking her to change everything back and doing the financing that would give us the posted prices. Had we not done that, what was a $3500 purchase AT MOST, would have been easily a $5500 purchase. I'm not sure what the commission structure is like and what she gains from a higher purchase, but I just don't think there's a time to trick people with their money, specially during a PANDEMIC. She literally took the excitement of furnishing our brand new house that we just bought and we definitely won't return to this location.

Very disappointed in the lack of communication from this business concerning a delivery. I contacted Ashley Furniture yesterday via phone to confirm my scheduled delivery of a desk. The delivery was confirmed and I was given a three-hour window for delivery today. One and a half hours after the end of the three hour window I contacted them to see what was going on with the delivery. I was told there was a problem that either the desk was lost or damaged and would not be delivered today. If I hadn't called them I wonder if I would have been notified and now the earliest the desk can be delivered is July 30th.
The sales person was very hepfull and not pushy. The store had the item I wanted on sale and in stock. But store had a lot of items I wanted, on sale but not available until maybe many months in the future. I believe that a store should not show items on sale, that the do not have. This is a big let down after spending a lot of time figuring out exactly what you want to purchase. I am sure they lose a lot o customers this way.

My wife, kids and I walked into this store with intentions to buy new kids beds. We were able to make it to the back of the store and walked passed four employees without even being acknowledged. After about twenty minutes of no service, we walked around the adjoining store seeking assistance where we finally met with Joshua and we were then able to make our purchase. I would definitely recommend asking for him if you visit either of these stores. I felt no pressure and he definitely recommended good quality furniture.

Horrible experience. Horrible customer service. Bought a mattress and was told it has a 10 year warranty. 3 years after, it broke but they don&'t want to honor the warranty. I would def recommend that you go somewhere else and save yourself the headache. They will lie to you about things to get you to purchase their stuff that doesn&'t even last.

Just had an amazing experience buying furniture from Ashley Homestore in Boca. My wife and I were greated by Katie who gave us a quick layout of the store. After we had decided on what we were going to purchase, Katie took the time to sit with us and go through all the options. Very professional young lady. My wife and I found a beautiful table at this store on 11/22/20. We bought it and were delighted that we could pick it up at City Furniture the same day. Ashley is part of City Furniture and each Ashley store is independently owned, which we found out later. We decided to wait until the next day to open the box and put it together. We discovered that the table top was totally different than the one on the store floor. We immediately called customer care. They asked for a picture, we sent it to them. They agreed the table was not the same. They brought out another table on 12/04/20. The delivery man came in and saw the table he was to exchange and informed us that he brought the same table. He did not make the exchange, understandably. We asked him to just take the first table with him because it was the wrong one. He informed he could not and directed us to customer care. They informed us that they would not take the table back. They informed they would further investigate the situation, naming other departments that could assist and asked if they could call back in a few days, they did not. After five days past we called them back. Again they said the same thing and again they did not. We called them again they informed us that each store was independently owned and each store has their own return policy. Ashley informed Wells Fargo that they delivered another table on 12/04/20 but gave no receipt or evidence of doing so, because no delivery was made. Wells Fargo rejected their reply. Still, no results.Today is 02/10/20, almost three months later. Why wouldn't they just want to take care of us? We paid them before we even received it. We're backed in a corner and just don't understand.
I am a very big fan of Ashley Furniture in Boca. I bought a sofa bed on Saturday from Christine who was outstanding, later i received a call and an email the time frame it would be delivered on Sunday. On Sunday i had two calls from the driver telling me exactly when he would be at my house. He was prompt - two men brought in the sofa bed, set it up, and were off. Excellent service and professional people. I will always do business with Ashley Furniture.
My wife and I found a beautiful table at this store on 11/22/20. We bought it and were delighted that we could pick it up at City Furniture the same day. Ashley is part of City Furniture and each Ashley store is independently owned, which we found out later. We decided to wait until the next day to open the box and put it together. We discovered that the table top was totally different than the one on the store floor. We immediately called customer care. They asked for a picture, we sent it to them. They agreed the table was not the same. They brought out another table on 12/04/20. The delivery man came in and saw the table he was to exchange and informed us that he brought the same table. He did not make the exchange, understandably. We asked him to just take the first table with him because it was the wrong one. He informed he could not and directed us to customer care. They informed us that they would not take the table back. They informed they would further investigate the situation, naming other departments that could assist and asked if they could call back in a few days, they did not. After five days past we called them back. Again they said the same thing and again they did not. We called them again they informed us that each store was independently owned and each store has their own return policy. My boyfriend and I being a young couple searching for furniture for our new apartment, we were completely ignored. We walked in and absolutely none of the employees welcomed us. Every single person that walks in gets a greeting and everyone ignored us through out the entire store. We saw employees searching for customers to talk to and they would walk right past us, as if we weren&'t potential customers. We were searching for a couch and employees would look at us and walk past us, not ONE employee asked if we needed help or anything.

I went in to buy a dresser today and look for other pieces of furniture I planned on getting next week when my sister moved down. I had the most wonderful and helpful person named Susana assist me. To make a long story short. She helped me and i ended up with the exact dresser and nightstands I wanted and then the dinning table, sleeper sectional and coffee table. I would just tell her what idea I had pictured in my mind and she would take me there. It was a delightful experience and I would recommend Ashley and Susana to everyone.

So where should I start I go into the center and I purchased this beautiful set of furniture which at the time I had asked if it was in stock and at the time I was told yes all but one table so instead of making them come to my house two times I said hold everything and when the table comes in deliver everything at once so I was supposed to have my furniture on 11 /8/19 well today is 11 /20/19 and I still do not have my furniture why you ask because they gave my furniture to somebody else after I had paid in full for all my furniture they did not Have the right to give my furniture away they should’ve kept it until my table came in and delivered it all together then I had to miss days of work because they brought part of my furniture and now I’m waiting for the rest which they tell me that instead of delivering with between 5 and 8 PM they want to deliver it all the way up to midnight who the hell delivers furniture at midnight really.people get up early for 5 AM to get ready for work to be at work by six I guess it doesn’t matter to them so here I am missing more work because they’re screwing around with my life this place sucks oh and by the wayDon’t trust Ana the sales person over at Ashlay she will lie to you

I put 400 dollars for the down payment, and have been making payments ever since. Now i got a notification that the delivery of everything which is supposed to come in tomorrow is actually missing parts. I have been waiting two months just to find out that that piece didn't pass the inspection or quality test. Just ridiculous now I have to wait who knows how long. Never shopping in city furniture again.

Sheldon Lawrence was great, his customer service and patience was excellent Well done Sheldon.. The first sales person seemed to have an attitude because I asked him if I could borrow his tape measure, he insisted on measuring the table versus allowing me to check a few tables and measure it myself, after his attitude we decided to leave when Sheldon approached us and not only did he provide us with his tape measure but allowed us to take our time on measuring several tables in order to make a decision, in addition to helping us match other furniture. In the end we selected a dining table & chairs & was very satisfied with Sheldon customer service
Worst place every. Bought two living room sets from here and their delivery drivers are disrespectful, careless and unprofessional. Left all the tape and cardboard everywhere and made my girlfriend feel very uncomfortable. They hire a bunch of low life’s to deliver your furniture. I emailed corporate and they never responded. I will never ever purchase here again.
I have come in 2 times recently. The first time I met Pam Enzinna she was so helpful Not the pushy sales type but listened to me and helped me to accomplish my goal I came back to purchase a temper pedic bed because I knew she would give me the no nonsense assistance I needed. Do not buy a beautyrest mattress they do not stand behind their product and frankly Ashley hasnt done much. Delivery was on point guys were great and pieces we bought look better than we thought.

Great experience at the store, horrible experience with the delivery process. When we initially purchased our recliner the sales rep told us about the "Premium Delivery" and stated that is was mostly for the delivery crew to build my furniture. When my husband stated that he could do it himself, the sales rep offered the free delivery option. My husband specifically asked if the recliner would be delivered to our 2nd story apartment since I would be alone when it arrived and I am currently 5 months pregnant. We were reassured several times that this would be the case and left very happy with our purchase for our nursery. Today our delivery window went smoothly but that was the only smooth thing about this delivery ordeal. The "delivery" driver off loaded our recliner and left the box in the middle of the parking lot and proceeded to look at my husband with an annoyed look and told my husband that "free delivery, we don't do stairs". My husband had to lug and push this huge box by himself, up two flights of stairs all while the TWO delivery men stood at the back of the truck and watched as if it were a spectacle. Had my husband not have gotten home early from work and if I'd been by myself, how exactly was I supposed to get this huge thing up here, when it took my in shape husband about 20 min?!? Once the drivers overheard my husband ask me to call Customer service, one man came over to my husband and told him not to be "ignorant" and tried to then push the box up too! Number one, I wasn't aware that this was a way to talk to customers and number two IGNORANT? How exactly was my husband being ignorant if they told him "they don't do stairs"!! Fed up with the situation we asked them to please leave. This is likely the first and LAST time we will be buying from this company, especially if this is how they treat their customers!!!

Went to Ashley during the Labor Day hurricane weekend. The store was empty and we were greeted by a salesperson named Susana. This turned out to be one of the best experiences I've had shopping for furniture. Susana was the most pleasant and helpful salesperson I've met. After explaining what we were looking for she showed us a few dining sets that did everything we wanted. We couldn't buy it before measuring so we went home. We called back to say everything was good. We made a couple of changes. She sent a new invoice and we wrapped it up. It was just a great sales experience. I'd definitely go back to Ashley.

Buying at City Furniture was a pleasure. Getting you merchandise is a nightmare. They don’t keep what you buy and I mean pay for in stock somewhere for you so when your ready for s delivery they don’t have it in stock slot of the time. How infuriating is that!! !$10,000 later I am now having to wait for my dining room table until Oct. I moved in my house on Aug 10th. They had the buffet but I can’t have family over for the holiday without a table to eat on. Never told all sales are final when delivered. Imagine it doesn’t work afterall you are stuck! Try calling customer service you hold at least 15 minutes. I’d shop somewhere else!!

Remembers me from months previous with our table set, called me back to make sure we were still coming, and stayed over her shift to help my boyfriend and I to pick out our perfect mattress. Dana always lays out every option and price point plainly so there’s no surprises. The showroom is always stunning and organized with prices clearly labeled. I will come back here time and time again for furniture and the level of customer service that we get, especially from Dana!
I called customer service and the person I spoke to was very understanding about my problem. She also had two cats so understood exactly what I meant by the couch is not cat friendly. This was my first time at Ashley Furniture store. I was on a mission to specifically buy a Temperpedic mattress with a frame that would allow me to raise my legs and feet for knee pain and neuropathies as well as elevate my head for Gastric reflux flare ups that cause burning of my esophagus and coughing during the night. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety and quality of other furniture in the showroom. I was blessed to have a vibrant, knowledgeable, patient young woman assist me in picking out just the right mattress. I did not feel for one minute, pressured to make a decision or buy quickly. Jordan was caring and compassionate and would have a great career in Healthcare while she keeps her day job with Ashley furniture. If you are looking for a Tempur-pedic mattress or something similar to it, they have a wide selection that you can sample by laying on. Overall, I'm pleased and I now have a sofa. I’ll chalk it up as a positive experience. The worst furniture buying experience of my life. I purchased a sectional and was informed that ‘congratulations! You qualify for free premium delivery!’ Awesome. I left the store, put my old sofa on letgo and prepare for my scheduled delivery two days later. However, once my sofa arrived, the delivery person proceeded to inform me that I would not, in fact be receiving my sofa as it will not fit in the elevator. When mentioned the obvious alternative option, the stairs, he informed me that they ‘don’t do fourth floor’. So I got to watch my new sofa leave on the same truck on which it arrived and am now without completely without living room seating. Thanks, Ashley!

We went to the Ashley/city furniture store in Boca to exchange our mattress we had purchased from City about two months prior. We were greeted by Shirley in the Ashley showroom. From beginning to end, she was so helpful. She helped us exchange our mattress (through Ashley) even thoughbwe were previously told by another associate we would have to go back to the sunrise store and have the original sales associate conduct the exchange. We asked her if she got commission for helping us reselect our mattress and she said no. That was unfortunate because she sat on the phone with the credit dept forever trying to get us the best deal on the exchange. We ended up putting a deposit down on more furniture with a Shirley, as well. I wish we would’ve went through her for our original purchase! Thanks Shirley!
It was my first time at an Ashley HomeStore and it was a wonderful experience! Gavin Foxwell helped my family and I pick out and design my first apartment. Gavin was very organized and knowledgeable and extremely attentive to my needs price and style wise. The experience was easy and pleasurable. I will definitely be back!
I would NOT recommend this company to anyone, in fact would sway anyone away from doing business with them as I’ve experienced first hand their poor customer service and failure to back their own warranty. Ashley Homestore does not back their own furniture. When purchasing furniture they will tell you it is covered by manufacturer warranty and all is wonderful when it’s a sale for the company; however, when furniture clearly is a manufacturer defect—with a sagging main broken board, the company fails to rectify the situation. They send a repair company out that blatantly states that they can’t fix it, and it would require the entire sofa to be redone, and there’s nothing that he can do that will fix it. So he attempts to nail in 2 smaller boards to reinforce the broken board from the rear , which clearly did not support the main broken board, instead these boards broke as well. So he left noting that there was nothing more he could do. Warranty department calls to tell us that it could not be repaired and is not covered under warrant, BLAMING US for breaking the sofa, with all sorts of assumptions and accusations that we were responsible because the so called “expert repair company” told them it must’ve been customer wear and tear. Meanwhile we had just purchase the sofa, it was delivered and looked ok/normal upon delivery. It had not even used, when just 1 person (average sized) the very first time sat on sofa and realized that something was wrong/broken and sagging with it. After multiple calls and hours on phone to Ashley Homestore customer service and the warranty department explaining the situation and experience, we continually asking to speak to management in warrant department. They continued to tell us that Warranty will not cover it. Nor did any management from the warrant department ever call us back. They would not provide us any manager names that we could follow up with, nor did Ashley warrant management team call us back as the warranty team told us. This company is very unprofessional and do not back their own products they sell. I would Not recommend Ashley Homestore to anyone, in fact, I am sharing this experience with everyone so that others do not have to go through the terrible customer service and warranty experience, and will maybe think twice about purchasing anything at this store. We will be following up with Ashley Homestore corporate on this company’s poor warranty service, customer service, and lack of professionalism, as we are stuck with a broken new sofa that they cannot repair, nor do anything about!
The worst furniture biting experience of my life. I purchased a sectional and was informed that 'congratulations! You qualify for free premium delivery!' Awesome. I leave the store, put my old sofa on letgo and prepare for my scheduled delivery two days later. Pros: This store has some nice sales reps. Better prices online on <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2FAshely.com&s=02171bcc286e115c909b071bda43d5ec5f90bcc85805e9683515c17eda84cd2f" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Ashely.com</a>. Cons: everything else, had an issue with the delivery. Which was they forgot the legs of my coffetable and it&'s beee over 2 weeks and nothing. The phone calls at Ashely will take at minimum of 10 minutes wait and if you are lucky the first agent might answer all your questions before hanging up on you because she thinks you have one question only. Worst prices are in the store. Don&'t waste time with going to store unless you really just want to feel and sit in the furniture.
This store has good and nice sales reps. They hurried for me at points when I wanted them too and didn't rush me when I was choosing the right furniture for almost two hours. I saved almost 50% off from here! Really well overall but had an issue with the delivery. Which was they forgot the legs of my lift coffee table.
I recently went to the Ashley HomeStore looking for a new guest bedroom set for my condo. I absolutely love my Realyn panel bed and chest. The room is small, and I didn’t want furniture to overwhelm the space. The distressed white finish gave the room a light and airy look at a reasonable price point. I always seem to find what I’m looking for at Ashley HomeStore in comparison to competing brands. My entire house is filled with Ashley furniture, and I love every piece. The Boca showroom is beautifully merchandised with a knowledgeable staff. I will definitely return when I need additional pieces for my house.

The staff was amazing and was able to help us overcome a few hiccups with the finance company, but he was able to work with us and able to give us great ideas for the furniture at our new home. From the moment my husband and I walked in the store, we were made to feel welcome. The sales staff were knowledgeable and courteous. Angel Fuentes was the associate who took care of us and Cesar was extremely helpful. Great experience, plan on returning for more shopping
Went in this afternoon looking for a new dining room table set, I’d seen a couple online that I was interested in seeing in person. I was immediately greeted by Angel, he got a balloon for my daughter and began to show me some of my picks. He was very friendly and helpful. I decided on a set and got it all set up for delivery/assembly. I’m super excited for it to arrive on Thursday! Would definitely be back in the future for any furniture needs.
Very disappointed by the customer service at Ashley Furniture. I spent a lot of $ outfitting my new condo and was told when I bought a mattress there that if I bought the $100 mattress protector I could exchange the mattress if I didn’t like it. Nothing was said about an additional exchange fee- in addition the headboard arrived with parts of the finish missing, the bedroom set arrived with holes that need to be repaired and they have yet to return my call, after leaving me on hold for 30 minutes this weekend. Would not buy here again :(

In a world of “service reps” I can honestly say I was blown away by Angel Fuentes at the Boca Raton location. H intent was to see some chair & 1/2 as I just moved I to my new place 3 weeks ago. He was patient, walked me through entire showroom. He also allowed me some time to visit the adjacent City Furniture showroom (no one there even greeted me) I came back to Angel where he went above & beyond moving statement chairs so we could stage with acc. I seriously never received such service. Floored is what that experience left me - well floored & $3k later a happy consumer. Thanks Angel for turning my “just looking” to “thanks I will take it”. Please make sure he gets the recognition he deserves. Great atmosphere overall at that location. A quick shoutout to the young at heart lady baking cookies at the coffee bar. She was just the sweetest. Customer for life!!

Stupid people work for this company, they are total idiots and morons. Was contacted by some jackass recruiter to travel every day to Jersey for 2 weeks to train to sell furniture when they should have offered to put me up in a motel during the week instead of having to travel 5 or 6 hours back and forth from my home to Jersey every day for 2 weeks! Stupid people and very cheap also.

A REAL NIGHTMARE . About a month ago I went to Ashley furniture very excited just bought my first house and I needed everything. i spent over $6500 dollar on furniture, bedroom, living room, dinning room, mattress. how exciting right? The WORST experience ever! EVERY single piece of furniture came with issues. My table came with broken glass TWICE. Scratches, broken, defected, ripped. The biggest issue is i also bought a matress and when it was delivered it was a completly different matress. So i contacted customer service and also went to the store. DANA did everything she could to help me but they actually wanted me to pay $400 dollars extra to get a different matress that was more like the one i originally bought. I've been calling customer seevice several times and have been put on hold for over 40 minutes as well as been hung up on. I Have spoken to everyone and explained to customer service over and over and over again, ive also sent pictures of the damages to the furniture. I am so frustrated and beyond upset over this whole ordeal. Last week I made an agreement with the store and paid $ 270 extra and yesterday they made the exchange after a month I finally got to sleep in a mattress. But this is not the end yet. Yesterday they came to my house to do an inspection on the furniture they told me that someone from the costumer service would call me in a 30 minutes so far more than 24 hours later I still have not received any calls from anyone, to finish this NIGHTMARE , another day when I was talking to someone from the costumer service the girl had the balls to offer me 25 gift for my inconvenience , I never felt so offended in my life, If I could I had returned everything back and buy somewhere else. NEW FURNITURE SOLD WITH TERMITES!!!! I purchased a couch and coffee/side table set from Ashley furniture. I moved into a brand new apartment in boca and realized that the side table was infested with termites. The staff is not helpful and I am now worried that my entire apartment and furniture is contaminated. Completely unacceptable and disgusting for the amount of money paid. BEWARE.

I bought a pretty expensive double electric recliner. One of them broke on the 2nd day I had it. The motor/mechanism to lift the feet part of the recliner broke. I have called them 5 times now to get someone out to look at it or service it. The first three times no one called me back to schedule a service. I did receive a call on my fourth attempt. The tech called me on a Sunday stating his car broke down and he would not be able to make it. I didn't have an appointment even set up yet, let alone on a Sunday!!!!!! So today the appointment was set up for them to come out between 12 and 4. I get a call from a RESTRICTED number that I didn't answer at 11:34am. It was the service tech that called me and left a voicemail stating he was ringing the doorbell and no one was home. Yeah, no one was home. It was 11:30 !!! The person who set up the appointment said the tech would call 30 minutes in advance and it would be between the hours of 12 and 4, NOT 11:34a.m with no advance phone call. He left a number and I called it. It was the corporate headquarters number which is weird he didn't leave his number so that I could meet him but it was the "office" phone number and they are not open on Saturday's; only Monday through Friday. Wow!!! They have nice stuff that breaks easily with zero customer service!! Go elsewhere and hopefully your new product won't break down and if it does, you will actually get good customer service. Ashley furniture is quite disappointing!!!!!!

Want to make your buying experience the most painful, frustrating and downright annoying experience ever? Well then come to this Ashley Home Store! Went with my GF to use a voucher we received from a previous purchase. The voucher was for not making a claim for repair on furniture that my grandmother, who lives in Mississippi and is 92 yrs old (important for later in story), purchased for us. The voucher is for $122.We go on a Saturday afternoon and it is dead as a door nail. Should&'ve made note of that. We walk in and of course are greeted by a small throng of salespeople looking to &"help&" us. We explain we are just going to look and they leave us alone. We settle for a picture that is priced at $150 and some candle holders that are $30. We make it painfully clear to call us and we repeat the number to call several times. They tell us &"No problem.&" We use the voucher and pay the remaining balance and the saleswoman tells us that &"we will call you in 2-3 days when the picture comes in and you can pick it up.&" Sounds easy! HAHAHAHAH! Not so. Three days later we call and we are told we &"were supposed to get it from the warehouse.&" We state we were told no such thing but the person on the phone is insistent that we were, even though this dipstick wasn&'t there. Eventually it gets smoothed out and we are told they will again call us when the picture arrives in store. A few days later, I call my mother to just talk and she tells me she can&'t talk because she is trying to figure out who has purchased something fraudulently under my grandmother&'s Ashley account. You see the stupidity pattern? They called this woman MULTIPLE TIMES and had her frantic. I told my mother what was going on and she was livid. What makes it even more ridiculous is that WE HAD SPOKEN TO ASHLEY THE DAY BEFORE THEY CALLED MY GRANDMOTHER so there was no damn reason for them to call her. We STILL don&'t have the stupid picture as we were mistold the dimensions and couldn&'t get it in the vehicle we drove to get it the other day. If my GF didn&'t really want the picture I would just cancel the whole stupid thing and get the money back and say screw the $122 voucher. It will be a long time before I return to ANY of the Ashley stores. So incompetent.
Never go to this store. Ever. I purchased a couch in September 2018. They ended up delivering the wrong couch twice. So I asked for my money back. After a month of going back and forth with them I was able to get a credit which was supposed to be refunded. Had to pay a restocking fee even though this was the fault of the store. Still waiting for the refund 6 months later. I have called customer care at least 50 times. Still do not have the refund. (Update) I emailed the owner as requested by the response to this review. Absolutely no help at all. Just got the same answer as customer service. Most recent call to customer care actually got laughed at by one of the customer care representatives. All they want to do is get me off the phone. Still no refund.

Unlike most stores we were left to browse on our own without being attacked by sales personnel. When we were ready we worked with Luciano Lopes Souza. He was excellent. Patient and informative. Ask for Luciano when shopping at the Boca store. He is the best.
The saleswoman that helped me was amazing her name is Lynn she is in pushy I didn't purchase anything she even sent me a picture to my cell phone so I could see what it would look like in my bedroom I really liked her and the furniture was really beautiful

What a disappointing, frustrating joke! I was a simple sale of $4K and these morons couldn't deliver. . . literally. They gave me a "Customer (Don't) Care" number that hung up on me every time that I called - before AND after the deal was cancelled. These con-artists failed to deliver on-time and had a myriad of worthless excuses and outright lies as to why it was my fault that they had breached their delivery contract. This place is a scam! The last time I spoke to my sales rep was when I called to inform her that their "tracking application" was reporting that they would be at least 90 minutes later than the delivery window that had been promised. She never called me back and nobody was able to explain why I had not at least received a courtesy call to communicate that I needed to waste more of my Sunday than I had already wasted. I did, though, receive several follow up calls to try to reschedule the delivery. As if I was going to fall for that nonsense again. . . As others have said: Shopper Beware! I will never step foot in this store!
When I first walked in the store it seemed like no one was really wanting to help with my purchase. Reluctantly a salesperson stepped up after they were asked to. I purchased the couch and after always signed and paid for, I was given a delivery date of 3 days out. I said I would be ready in 2 weeks and rescheduled the delivery date 15 days after the original delivery date. On the eve of the delivery date I received an automated telephone call stating that my order was back ordered and a new delivery date of 20 days out and was given. I called and let them know I would not be here and that I found it unacceptable after giving them an additional 15 to 18 days after the purchase to have my sofa delivery. They gave me a delivery date of 10 days from the day I called. The delivery personnel were professional and very good at what they do.

I have ordered from this store twice. Both times the delivered items were defected and they must train their delivery people to strongly encourage you to keep the damaged item, you have 24hrs and deal with them directly. DONT DO THIS! The delivery guys almost act as though their job is in the line or as if it will back fire on them if you decline the damaged piece. They delivered us a couch over $3,000 with what looks to be a repaired hole in the leather seat. Said they would deliver a new one in a week, and now it got changed to 1. 5 months. Unacceptable, and misleading sales practices, and huge conflict of interest having their delivery men insist you don't make them bring back the damaged pieces right then. They have you keep it so they can offer you coupons for future purchases. . . . . . . . . . . . . very disappointed with this experience. STOP training your delivery men into encouraging customers to hold onto damaged pieces this is clearly bad faith and just makes everyone's lives more difficult. When someone buys a 3. 5k couch they probably won't t care if they can get a $50 coupon if they keep the 3. 5k couch with a repaired hole in it; it's safe to assume they would want that damaged piece replaced. . . . . . . . . . I want to add that our particular delivery guys were extremely nice guys, and this isn't a direct reflection on them. They were very nice guys, and did a great job. They even took a picture of the area that looked to be a repaired hole to help defend us if need be or to at least document the damage. Our sales agent was great, and so were our delivery guys, this is an internal company problem beyond their control. The sales agents strongly encourage you to send damaged pieces back with the delivery guys, and then the delivery guys strongly encourage you to callback within 24 hrs and deal with any problems directly with the store. . . . . . . . . . now I wait another 5 weeks on top of the 1. 5 we have already waited now that our original delivery for Tues April 16th just got pushed back to Tues May 21 literally the day after my wife is scheduled to give birth to our daughter.

HIS EXACT WORDS. He concluded immediately that the furniture could not be repaired. I called customer service regarding reselecting and upgrading to a better, higher quality piece. I don't mind paying more, I am NOT looking for a refund. I am looking for a decent dresser that will last me 5-7 years. Not asking for a lot considering the furniture I replaced lasted over 20 yrs. After talking with 3 customer service reps, I am told my only option is to pay $60 to have the same furniture delivered again. There is no option of an upgrade because I did not purchase "insurance". I have never heard of anything so ridiculous. They do not know the meaning of customer service. I don't understand how they can treat a customer this way. Their policies are BS and only serve them, not the customer. Mind you, these pieces were delivered damaged. None of these issues are due to wear and tear, insurance should not be an issue. I don't understand how they do business this way. I have never experienced anything like this before. Let the BUYER BEWARE!! UPDATE: Ashley contacted me and is currently making this right for me. I purchased a mattress,a bed and some furniture from both City Furniture and Ashley Furniture. Dana our sales person was extremely helpful and patient. We had Dani as an interior designer and their package is so afordable and she helped me with choosing and figuring out the space I needed furnished. I never saw a need in hiring a personal designer but I can not tell you how much time I saved and how beautiful the room is. Cesar was very helpful with setting the delivery and very very fast with the payment process. The team there on the Airport Road Store is extraordinary I highly recommend going there. Thank you all!

I am looking for a decent dresser that will last me 5-7 years. Not asking for a lot considering the furniture I replaced lasted over 20 yrs. After talking with 3 customer service reps, I am told my only option is to pay $60 to have the same furniture delivered again. There is no option of an upgrade because I did not purchase "insurance". I have never heard of anything so ridiculous. They do not know the meaning of customer service. I don't understand how they can treat a customer this way. Their policies are BS and only serve them, not the customer. Mind you, these pieces were delivered damaged. None of these issues are due to wear and tear, insurance should not be an issue. I don't understand how they do business this way. I have never experienced anything like this before. Let the BUYER BEWARE!!

One of the most exceptional experiences I have ever received shopping for mattresses and furniture. I went in just looking to test their mattresses and I was not disappointed by the service me and my partner received. Suzie was the best from the moment I walked in she took care of me and made sure I was well informed about everything Ashley furniture had to offer. I have been mattress shopping for quite some time and she was the most friendly informative outgoing associate I’ve had out of all the places I’ve been to shopping for my new mattress. Cesar all rolled out the red carpet for me as well during my experience. I’ve never had a shopping experience that had left me feeling so happy and elated about a purchase before. I can’t say thank you enough to them both thank you for an unforgettable experience, after today I can surely say that I will be returning to Ashley Furniture in Boca Raton for all my furniture needs.

Purchased a dining room table and six (6) chairs. We were told that everything was in stock. Ashley HomeStore, Airport Road, advised us (after hours, of course), that they would be delivering the dining room table and two (2) chairs the next day. We called to both cancel the delivery with dispatch (successful) and to cancel the purchase with sales at the store (which the person we spoke to told us would be done). She also told us that our sales person would be calling us back at or around 12:00 PM to explain what happened and to confirm the cancellation. We never heard from her that day or since. Not sure if they're formally cancelling the credit card charge or not. So we called our credit card company to advise them of the situation and they immediately gave us a "purchase credit." We don't expect a call back from Ashley HomeStore and will never purchase anything from them or their franchise owner, City Furniture (same building on Airport Road in Boca Raton). Customer service is extremely poor. Still cannot believe that nobody called to advise us that most of our order was not in stock for delivery. Very disappointed in this company!!

Definitely see Michael L. He takes his time with you, doesn’t rush or push you into anything. I was completely indecisive and he walked with me back and forth across the showroom probably 20 times before I decided on something. I then changed my mind after going through the entire process and he was happy to help me switch out my order. Will definitely buy from Ashley again.

Wonderful work team, awesome people
The sales staff was very friendly and helped us find a quality sleeper sofa for under $400. They also offered plenty of warranty options that we will consider. The building is easily accessible, the showroom is clean and easily navigable, and there is plenty of parking.
So I really wish this could have been a 5 star review. Finally yesterday they delivered the correct headboard of the bed and assembled it. The bed itself is great, and a few managers called me to try and correct all the mistakes that happened during the delivery. It's just a shame that I had to miss 2 work days for deliveries that did not arrive or delivered wrong items. I would also try to improve communication when delivery is way outside of the expected window. Overall I judge places not by their mistakes but by how they handle their mistakes and they made sure to address it and correct it. Thank you
As I promised an update, it gets even worse. After waiting 2 days and having the stuff finally delivered, they delivered the WRONG item. So now they are trying to figure out what they did wrong and see if they can deliver again, but at this point, I doubt I am either keeping any of this or ever going back to this store. This has gone from bad to worse and they seem to be clueless at this store, save yourself the aggravation and find an alternative.
So far having a very bad experience, scheduled delivery for 2:30-5:30PM. waited till 7:30 and was never informed they were delayed. They showed up 8:30PM and my community declined allowing them in. I am now trying to reschedule but getting the work around. Finally got off the phone and now have to wait 2 extra days for delivery, and they could not guarantee the window. Ashley HomeStore should really re-examine their delivery service and the protocol of both communication and scheduled deliveries.

Well they started off on the wrong foot. After being scheduled a delivery of 2:30-5:30 and waiting till 7:30 with no communication whatsoever, they tried to deliver at 8:15 and my community did not allow them in. When trying to reschedule, they were both rude, and finally after talking to a supervisor the best they could do is have me wait for another 2 days, and not even let me know when it will be delivered (they will let me know the window the night before, even though they messed up). So after spending the day moving my son bed out of his room to make place for the new one, he will be sleeping the next 2 days on the floor! I hope this gets resolved and I can update this review for now, I would def. not recommend this to anyone.
I’m am so frustrated and unhappy with Ashely Furniture. I bought a desk for my son and it came damaged. Then they redelivered and I didn’t notice it was missing a screw and the draws were not opening and closing properly. I called several times to get this resolved and they leave you on hold for hours. Then finally someone at the local store helped me and gave me the email to warranty to get this fixed and resolved. I emailed them and I never heard back from them. Now I have a desk with a missing screw and desk draws that can’t be used. I’ll never buy furniture from Ashley Furniture again. Bad quality furniture and really bad customer service.

I bought all new living room furniture for a brand new house and was super excited because this is my first home. The salesman was super helpful and kept talking about how great the customer service was and how if I ever had any problems they would bend over backwards to make it right. Well everything got delivered and within 2 weeks of it being here a leg snapped off on a loveseat I ordered. Now I get it, sometimes these things happen. Manufacturers defects exist and that's why there are warranties. I'm not giving a one star review soley because of that. I'm giving it because of what followed. I immediately submitted a warranty claim, and since this is a new house I of course had a housewarming party coming up in a month, so I needed to get this resolved before then. I completed the process, and called and emailed to follow-up on it. Every response was "sorry for the delay, someone will contact you in 48 hours." Well 3 weeks later is when I got the first call. Their first appointment availability? 3 weeks afte. That was just to come look it, not to resolve it. I of course called back up and was upset and told them that was not reasonable and explained why I needed it fixed sooner. I spoke to an agent and spoke to a manager. I gave them the opportunity to either fix it sooner, or give me store credit, or give a refund. Their ultimate resolution? Too bad deal with it. So yeah. Thats what you can expect from Ashely Furniture. Update: after writing this review as 1 star initially, they contacted me and made it a priority to get someone to home and fix it. I wish this was level of customer service I could have expected from the start, but I'm updating to 3 stars because they eventually did have someone make it right.
Don't listen to what any of the sales associates say. Read every part of the sales contracts yourself as the sales people will lie to you about what is in it. We bought furniture from here a couple months ago. We were on the fence about a bedroom set but the sales guy convinced us to buy as he said we could have 24 hours to return any item if we don't like it. Turns out that wasn't the case and as soon as we received the furniture and didn't like it in the space they said there are no returns if you buy in store. We tried reaching out to the sales guy and he never contacted us. We never even received the proper information from him to make payments on the furniture. Additionally we were contacted by customer support after leaving a review and they made it seem like they were going to help us. We emailed the person they asked us to email, and never heard back from them or got any meaningful help. Customer service overall is horrible and the sales guy we dealt with was worse.

My experience at Ashley Furniture store was excellent because Dana was my sales person. She made sure to find out what I was looking for, and helped me look around the store for it. She even toted heavy chairs around the store to see if they matched the table, and she is a petite gal. She was very personable, and did not rush me. As a result, I csme back and bought another item soon after —as I was enjoying my table so much. I needed another chair, and she found me a display chair for under $20 dollars that was actually worth around $189 at one time. She helped me find some really great items and on sale. Dana is an asset to Ashley, who takes her job seriously, and has a good grasp on customer service. Thanks!
