I ordered an entryway table in-store with delivery to our house. It had issues with broken screw and three minor dents at the top of the table when it was unpacked. A service technician was assigned to attend the broken screw. On trying to assemble thereafter, I uncovered the new screw was positioned inappropriately which resulted in out of place table top. Another service visit was scheduled to address it, but this time a new issue popped up - the table corners were damaged on trying to fix it. I demanded a complete replacement but was denied that its repairable. Now looking forward to the next appointment. Although they are trying to address the issue, the overall experience has NOT been as I expected it to go.

Upon entering the Brandon location, every one is so welcoming and bright. I had the honor to have Brandin a wonderful manager, and Fadi Ahmad that likes to be called Sam as my representatives. I already knew what I wanted from previously roaming around to find furniture for my new home. They explained everything and handled everything professionally and they also got to know me as a person which made me more comfortable and confident in doing a purchase. To have a good buying experience I definitely recommend coming here for Home purchases, as the people and the items are beautiful! Thanks again Sam and Brandin at the Brandon location!! Your team is phenomenal!

They sold me a sofa along with a warranty. However, the warranty was for a bed and the warranty company would not honor the warranty. I have been trying to get resolved through Ashley Customer Service and only getting the run around at this point. Would have liked to have the couch worked on per the warranty I thought we had. Instead I am just hoping to get my warranty money back at this point. Very poor initial sales on their part and poor service recovery as well

I stopped by looking for living room furniture. When I walked in no one greeted me nor asked if I needed help. Walked around for 20 minutes still no one asked if I needed assistance. Then I saw 5 employees sitting in chairs talking to each other I was still invisible 🫥. Finally I asked for help with a recliner that wasn't even in the showroom so that was no help. Guess what? Ashley lost my business!!! Horrible customer service!

Buyer beware - There are no exchanges or returns. Whatever you buy make sure you sit on it, size it etc. Once it is delivered to your house they will not exchange or take returns no matter what. We tried everything with their customer service (that we will buy something of a higher value or maybe charge us a restocking fee). Now we are stuck with a hideous looking large couch that does not fit our space.

Purchased very expensive reclining sofa and loveseat, it has been two months and one of the motors are already out. Their warranty claim process is an absolute joke, it’s done by a virtual system that asks repetitive questions. No one at the store will answer the phone so you can’t talk to a person. If you call the warranty office they refer you to speak with the virtual assistant. Save your $ buy elsewhere

I explained to Kirk, the Polish associate, that we had a negative experience with Ashley Furniture about four years ago. At that time, we were promised a one-week delivery on a piece of furniture, but the delivery was delayed by several weeks—so long, in fact, that we no longer wanted the item. With that in mind, I asked Kirk if a specific piece of furniture was currently available in the warehouse for immediate pickup. He answered "yes" with conviction. Based on that assurance, he guided me through the financing application process. Once I was approved, he suddenly informed me that the furniture would not be available until [X date] and asked if that would be acceptable. Naturally, I was not willing to fall into the same situation again. I was shocked—"Are you kidding me, Kirk?" I asked him to void the financing application. He told me there was nothing they could do, and that I would have to contact Synchrony Bank directly. I also spoke with store management, who confirmed that they were unable to reverse or cancel the application. I then contacted Synchrony Bank and requested that they void the application. However, they informed me that once I submitted my Social Security number, the application became permanent and could not be reversed. They also mentioned that it would likely be reported to the credit bureaus. I submitted the application under the belief that the item was available for immediate pickup. I consider this a clear case of misrepresentation of inventory availability. Kirk’s strategy of falsely claiming that the item was in stock has not only caused me unnecessary emotional stress, but also wasted a significant amount of my time dealing with a financing application I did not need in the first place. His actions led me into an avoidable situation that has now created potential long-term consequences for my credit standing. Having an additional and unnecessary hard inquiry on my credit report due to this misrepresentation may negatively affect my creditworthiness and potentially disqualify me from obtaining future credit approvals. Due to the mishandling of this transaction and the misinformation I was given, I intend to file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to ensure this type of practice is formally addressed and prevented moving forward. Consumers should be alert and cautious when dealing with retailers who use misleading strategies that play with the estimated time of arrival of items. These tactics are not only unethical but also exploit the trust and financial standing of honest customers.
