Rich was SO helpful in helping me make some quick decisions for my in laws new furniture. I wanted quality, durable fabrics that fit their style and needs. Was a really great experience. And he is really nice and easy to work with.

UPDATE: 2 weeks later and still no furniture. Never seen a company where I have to call the customer service team to get updates on my order. Then you get the fake responses like below to email them with your problems for no one to respond. Store rep got her sale though, but just transfer you to CS when you call. Once I finally do receive my furniture, Ashley will never get my business again. Where to start…ordered a bed and dining room set and asked for everything to be delivered together so I didn’t have to take multiple days off work (simple enough request). Day of delivery, just a mattress shows up while dispatch calls to inform of a back order on my table even though the day before I called to verify everything was coming, strike one. Fast forward a week later and the dining room set shows up and looks like someone dropped it, strike two. They say they will send a tech, to which my response is send a tech to try and repair a smashed table that I just paid good money for? No, you can replace the whole thing. And now here we sit waiting for their lovely we will get back to you in 72 hour response. Now we wait to see if they make it right.

DO NOT BUY HERE. They lie about their inventory. For the love of God - trust the reviews. My husband and I were dumb enough to not look into Ashley before going into the store and buying a couch. We went in on 12/15/2024, were told everything would be in the warehouse by 1/15/2025, and it is now 1/21/2025 and the DAY OF DELIVERY they tell us they don’t have the whole couch and will only be delivering some pieces today and we have to reschedule the delivery of the other pieces (which we already rescheduled the first delivery to today, so this is an additional delay). All of the reviews complaining about delivery are 100% accurate and no one is helpful over the phone. The sales associate we talked with at the store was nice, but it’s not even worth giving more than 1 star for his customer service because it doesn’t outweigh the absolute inconvenience and this ridiculous, unprofessional, unacceptable business. We would ask for a refund and go somewhere else at this point, but we got the Ashley’s credit card to fund the purchase and don’t have the option of applying at a bunch of other furniture stores. We are incredibly frustrated and disappointed and I sincerely hope this company goes out of business for how awful and deceitful they are.

The store is beautiful, and there are so many amazing options. We were furnishing our entire new home so we wanted quality furniture at a good price. The sales team is good but somewhat rushed. We did have an error in our order that resulted in a 2 week delay in delivery for our bed, and we ended up having to settle for a headboard we didnt want. Delivery was adequate for most items. But for our bed, the 2nd team was horrible. They refused to move the bed over until I demanded it after the 4th time asking. And my husband and I both asked to move it throughout the process, but we were ignored. On top of that, only 1/3 of the slats were screwed in, causing the mattress to bow in the middle and top. My husband had to go to home depot to get screws to fix it himself. They also damaged the frame by not screwing it in correctly. It was very frustrating and will affect our decision to shop there in the future.

I was not impressed with the sales agent Angie. She was not very helpful and her long clicking nails were very annoying. She did not return me call. Although when I had to go to customer service for a refund they were very helpful

We recently purchased the matching couch and love seat that paired with the patio table we bought 2 years ago. Once the furniture was delivered we realized how much the table and chairs had faded and turned the color green. We asked to return the furniture within 48 hours and was denied because it was not an online purchase. Knowing this new furniture would turn geeen in 2 years we contacted customer service asking them to please let us return it and could they replace our table. Nothing was done but we received an apology via email and in addition this patio furniture is kept in a covered patio area. We will no longer be using Ashley Furniture or referring its furniture to friends and family.

My experience with Ashley it has been poorly, from the very beginning when I bought my furniture to today having issues with my delivery. Starting the day I bought my furniture they sold it to me for $200 more than what the price was thankfully I realized of that mistake and went back to the store and let the associates know and that extra amount charged it was reimbursed to my card. I was supposed to receive my furniture in dec 18 unfortunately I had an emergency and I was not able to receive it that day. I contacted the delivery team and they told me there was no problem and that they were going to be able to deliver it the next day. They told me they were going to call me on Thursday 19th to scheduled a time I did not receive any call and of course did not receive the furniture either. When I called on Friday 20th they told me they don’t know when I can receive the furniture since they don’t have it anymore are you seriously??!. Then I called on Monday and another representative told me she contacted the warehouse and they told her all the furniture was ready to be delivered.Today Thursday 26th I called again and they still does not have any update I asked the representative Vidal to transfere me to a supervisor and he transferred me to Sean now she tells me she can not delivered the order cuz they don’t have it anymore. I asked her what happened with the furniture I bought she now said it was defective and it is discontinued are you for real?. She stated I can cancel the order I said I don’t want to cancel it since I need the furniture. Never buying form this store again.

Worst experience. Worst furniture store in the world. I purchased a sofa set in October. Two of the chairs came damaged, and the delivery man told us we have to keep them until a technician comes to review them. A week later, when the technician arrived, he told me the sofa did not qualify for a replacement but a repair. I did not accept the repair of the new sofa and called customer services. After long calls, they accepted the replacement and placed a new delivery date for me. One month later, the two chairs arrived, and one of them was wrong , the right armcorner chair instead of the left armcorner chair. I refused the delivery and notified customer service. They told me I had to wait 24-72 hours for someone to call me back. A week later, no one called me back, the system was down, and so on. Every day I called them to place the replacement, they placed my call on hold, wasting my time , more than 30 minutes every call. It is December 18, and I have a damaged sofa in my living room. They stole my money

Danielle in the Brandon store was very polite. As sales representative she is not pushy, she knows the products. We got extactly what we wanted and she helped us find what we needed. She took the time to walk us through everything. She acknowledged our concerns and was very helpful. Would definitely return back and deal with Danielle.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Ashley Furniture. When we purchased our patio furniture, we were promised a delivery date of 11/30/2024. However, that date was pushed back to 12/24/2024 without any proper explanation or consideration for our situation. We agreed to the purchase specifically because the delivery date was guaranteed to not exceed 11/30. In the meantime, we sold our old patio furniture, thinking we’d have the new set by the promised date, and now we are left with nothing for the events we had planned. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, especially considering Ashley Furniture’s supposed high reputation. I expected much better service and communication. Would not recommend. Update** Now the new “guaranteed delivery date” is going to be a partial delivery and they are pushing out my order to 01/06. I was just told this one day prior to my delivery date set for tomorrow. Unreal. Never again will I buy furniture at Ashley.

My wife and I came in looking for a new couch set for our living room on 12/3. We met Melinda at the door and she told us about the specials. We walked around the store and found something we liked. Melinda was so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly with us the entire time. We ended making a purchase and were so happy with the entire experience. Thank you Melinda for all of your help. There are certain things I will not tolerate, and that’s lying, lack of accountability, and poor communication. We were told our furniture would arrive on 12/23. The week before the delivery date we were getting all of our confirmation emails. We even got one the day before. We were super excited, but unfortunately received a call 12 hours before our delivery window that our furniture was suddenly on back order. It was now tentatively schedule to arrive 12/30. How was it all good and on schedule to suddenly be on back order hours before delivery? That ruined our holiday plans because we got rid of our old couch two days before the scheduled delivery. Now we have nothing. My wife reached out to Melinda. She told us that her office manager said the shipment got held up because of inclement weather. Which one is it? Back order or transportation/weather issues? I wrote a very unhappy email to someone that Melinda reluctantly provided as the store manager’s email. I understand that Christmas just happened but I still haven’t gotten any responses from anyone at the store. We got a call from the call center (not the store) stating that our furniture won’t arrive until 1/7/2025 now. That’s 2 full weeks from the original date we agreed upon and 5 weeks after purchase. What is that all about? This entire experience went from great to absolutely the worst I have ever had with a store. I’ve been patient and given as much time as I am willing to tolerate, but this is just unacceptable. I will not be giving this company any of my business ever again. If their name is ever brought up or someone I know wants furniture, I will be sure to steer them clear from this place.

Update: This store tells lies when selling furniture especially what is available in their warehouse and what is not so I have to reduce to 2-stars. Do not tell a customer it is in the warehouse based upon “it could possibly” be in the warehouse by the delivery date. The customer service received after making purchase was horrible - I was told all pieces were in stock upon purchase so I made sure my old furniture was removed before the delivery and then the day before the delivery I received a call and was told I would only get the sofa and the ottoman was back ordered. When furniture arrived I received half a couch. After calling customer service I was transferred to Lauren and she swore she would setup for the rest to be delivered and would call me the next day with updated information on the rest of the furniture. The next day - no phone call from Lauren. So I call customer service the next day and they tried to reach Lauren at the store and they were told no one by that name worked there. So I go to the store the next day and guess who’s the manager on duty - Lauren who tried to act like she didnt speak to me over the phone. All in all, I have half a couch and now they say they can deliver the other piece in two days, there is no let me do my best to get you your furniture its this is what you’re gonna get, we do not care that you do not have all your furniture. Oh and the ottoman, will be delivered 13 days after the actual delivery date. Good thing I didn’t purchase a bed, I guess I would receive the frame but no mattress. Great experience shopping here. I was greeted when I first walked in and given an overview of the layout of the store. I loved that I got to walk around and check out the pieces without someone following me around to get a sale. Once I was ready to get more information on the piece I found the sales rep Sid was easy to find and helped me with finding the best deal for me. Great prices and no hassle while shopping!

The 5 stars are strictly for Sah, Rob and Mike.. I lost everything in hurricane Milton and needed everything when I walked into Ashley about two weeks ago. Bedroom set, dining table, sofa and mattress set. Although overwhelmed with the selection at the Brandon location, I was able to pick out everything I wanted there. I was introduced to Sah for my mattress needs. I know nothing about mattresses and honestly was looking for the cheap way out. Sah understood the assignment and not only got me a mattress set I could afford but ensured my comfort was in the mix as well. I checked out and I was on my way. Delivery day came and 1 HOUR before delivery, I get a call that the mattress foundation was sold out and they were unsure when they'd be able to deliver it. Considering I haven't slept well in 3 weeks ... I'm furious. I remember Sah left me his business card so I shot him a text in hopes he could connect me to someone who could help. He did much better than that! Sah got his manager involved and I was able to get what I needed SAME DAY! When I arrived at the store, Sah, Rob and Mike were nothing short of amazing. They found a foundation at the location, broke it all the way down and loaded it into my car! I am more than pleased with these gentleman's customer service and heart! Thank you guys! I am soooo ready to sprawl out and catch up on these zzzz's I've been missing.

I’ve had two bad experiences at Ashley Furniture-Brandon, Fl. The first one was in August 2024, when I was charged for an assembly service that I never received, even though I paid for it in the store. I went to the store three times to try to get an assembly date, and ended up waiting in the parking lot for an hour and a half because the representative told me I’d receive a call back within 15 minutes, which never happened. I eventually requested a refund for the assembly charge. My second bad experience happened today, November 12th, when I went to buy a bar stool to complete a set of two that I already have at home. The price tag on the stool in the store was $170, but I was charged $180. I requested the show room price, and they said they would refund the difference within three days. We’ve purchased here because they offer 0% interest, but honestly, their prices are high compared to other furniture stores.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Ashley Furniture, and I am extremely disappointed in both their customer service and the way they handled my purchase. It all started when I bought a couch and ottoman at their store. The sales representative rushed through the entire process and assumed I wanted a specific color. She didn’t give me the chance to confirm or review my choice, and now, the couch and ottoman that were delivered today are the wrong color. What made matters worse is that the receipt I was given at the time of purchase does not list or even mention the color of the couch and ottoman. There’s no way to verify what was actually ordered. As soon as I saw the items were the wrong color, I called customer service immediately. I explained the situation and was advised to file a claim and told to contact the store manager for quicker assistance. I called the store manager, who was dismissive and claimed he was too busy to help. He then insisted on transferring me to a customer service manager, despite me explaining that I had just spoken to customer service, and they specifically told me to speak with him directly. Even after this, he transferred me back to the same customer service line, leaving me feeling completely ignored. I am extremely upset. All I want is the couch and ottoman in the correct color, but no one at Ashley Furniture seems willing to take responsibility or offer a real solution. It feels like I’m being passed around, and I’m still left with the wrong items. This has been an unnecessarily complicated and stressful process, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing from Ashley Furniture. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and overall disregard for customer satisfaction have made this a deeply frustrating experience.

Terrible customer service. Sales lady was on her earpods talking to her daughter. Had to track her down to check out. Automatically added a warranty package without asking permission. Had to call multiple times to get it canceled after the fact because credit was never refunded. Was not a quality customer service experience.

It is impossible to reach anyone by phone at the physical store. I was on hold for 40 minutes yesterday without anyone picking up. Disappointing.

If I could rate this -100, I would. Let me start by saying my rating is not against this particular store but Ashley overall. I ordered a Dresser that was initially delayed because of Hurricane Helene. New delivery date was Oct 31st. I received multiple emails about the delivery date and one asking me to confirm the date and time which I did. delivery time was given from 2:15 - 6:15. I also received a couple of text messages regarding the delivery. I took off work to make sure I was home for the delivery and at 1:43 p.m. received an automated call that my delivery was 10 minutes away. 2 hrs later no delivery. I called customer service and they informed me that the item had not yet been delivered to the warehouse!!!!!. Needless to say, I went to the store to complain and cancel my order. I will NEVER purchase or step foot in an Ashley store again !

My son bought his first bedroom set and they give him 2 headboards and no footboard. He and now I have been trying to get a hold of them and I get someone in Asia. I've been on the phone for over 1hr and 30 mins to just get my footboard and still waiting. Unbelievable. Hoping to get this resolved. It's been over 1 week. No one ever pick up the phone at the store.

If I could put zero stars I would. I purchased a new leather sofa. When the delivery guys delivered the sofa it had a cut in it and an area that had a big fold in the leather. My husband was not informed that if you did not tell them to take it back right then, you are screwed. They sent someone to repair it. I said I bought new and I want new, I didn’t want to pay full price for a repaired sofa when the damage was not our fault. They said they would not take it back and now I am stuck with a “repaired” sofa when I paid for a new one. The repair guy did what he could but the fold is still not 100% right. If the issue would have been caused by us I would have understood but the damage was not our fault in any way. First time buying from Ashley. Also the last time I will buy from Ashley due to their lack of customer service. UPDATE: After contacting the CEO office, they called us within the day to apologize and arrange for a replacement sofa to be delivered in the next cycle week. The replacement sofa was received today and all is good. Thank you for making this right

Purchased a new adjustable bed frame and mattress. On the day it was delivered, it already had a broken part that would not allow the leg portion to adjust, so my brand new bed already needs to be repaired. When I swept under my bed after they left, I found two plastic packages with the parts still inside. One marked ‘P’, the other marked ‘AB’…so DAY 1 and the bed doesn’t work and I need a replacement part plus 2 random parts found. By the way, the people who assembled the bed didn’t even bother to show me how to operate it. If I didn’t ask them to stop and show me before they left, I would not have figured out the bed was defective. Not a single person at the store could help me, much less transfer me to a manager and so I was transferred to a call center, which in and of itself was a hassle since it was a foreign based call center, which made explaining everything tedious as I had to repeat myself multiple times and ask the agent to repeat themselves several times as well. I was not transferred to a supervisor there either and was told I will have to wait another 2-3 weeks between the part arriving and scheduling a tech to come out to install it. Worst customer service from the store itself, poorly trained technicians to assemble the bed, and difficult to understand the foreign based customer service reps. Who are doing the best they were trained how to do. I regret my purchase from Ashley Brandon Location. SHOP AROUND FIRST.

My original visit to the store, furniture purchase, and delivery went fairly smoothly. My terrible experience has occurred since filing a warranty claim with the extended warranty that I purchased. I purchased my furniture in 2021 and have a 5 year warranty on all of my furniture ( I furnished my entire apartment with Ashley furniture and spent thousands of dollars to do so). My tv stand and coffee table are both made of a similar material and both have irreplaceable damaged parts and are no longer functioning, the damage is included under the conditions of my warranty so I filed a claim. I have had to file the claim three times through the proper channels with the extended warranty company over the course of 12 months without receiving any communication. After 12 months of ZERO communication I finally received an approval that both pieces of furniture are approved to be fully replaced, however I would have to pick it up from the Brandon store. This is a complete surprise to me and the problem is I have moved to Chattanooga, TN. When I first purchased my furniture I informed the sales person that I would only be in Florida for 12 months due to my job and will be moving out of state after the year is over so I asked if I would still be able to fulfill any warranty claims for parts to be replaced, damage repair, etc. The sales person told me that as long as I move somewhere in the U.S. with an Ashley Furniture store my warranty will have coverage. I have since been attempting to find a solution to this, as I would have NEVER spent thousands of dollars with a company knowing that I would be moving and have no access to furniture repairs. I have spoken with the General manger Robert and customer care representative Veronica H Both are not willing to find a reasonable solution to a problem that was created by their store. Do not shop here.

I'm not one to share reviews often but I feel compelled with this visit. We walked in to browse bedroom furniture and was kindly greeted by Melinda at the door. She kept her introduction short and sweet which we both appreciated. After visiting many furniture stores we were encountered by very pushy sales reps, worse than used car salesman to be honest. Melinda allowed us to browse the whole store before she reapproached. We started with a bedroom set and by the time we were done, we purchased a mattress, bedroom set and a dining room table. Melinda truly helped guide us through the whole process with her product knowledge leading us to exactly what we were looking for. Can't wait for our new furniture to arrive. Stay away from store at all cost. Sales representative will miss lead you on delivery times and staff especially management are rude and their belief is that the customer should be thankful that any piece of furniture (from a set) makes it on time. And what I mean is 4 months between pieces. And when they arrive the are damaged. Due yourself a favor and stay away.....

If anyone is looking to purchase furniture don’t stop here, run the other way. In all my twenty plus years of ordering furniture I have never dealt with a company so unprofessional and inconsistent than the Brandon Florida location. I came in along with a family member to browse in hopes of finding a desk for my home office, and my family member to purchase furniture for her new home. We had also stopped into the other furniture stores minutes away so we coincidentally ended up in Ashley . Upon reaching Ashley as we came in we were greeted in minutes by a sales agent by the name of Melinda. However as we walked around the store she continued to try and sale us as she should.We both ended up purchasing some items. When it came to my purchase I purchased what appeared to be a white desk and chair and the agent advised me it was also on sale. “ I immediately became excited”. Melinda advised me of the delivery and that it would be 06/13/24. She also advised my other family member hers would be delivered a few days after on 06/15/24. In which my family received her things on time. However I never received my delivery nor did I received a call as the rep stated I would.So Immediately I called the store and they advised it was a mistake of delivery date provided by Melinda and that it was supposed to be delivered on 06/20/24. I thanked the person on the phone and said I would wait because the sales agent probably made a honest mistake. On 06/20/24 which was my scheduled date ,no one ever called or came with my delivery . I then called the store again, and spoke to a lady by the name of Lauren or Loren who advised that I would get a call back within the hour, after she tried to reach the delivery guys. She failed to return the call and gave me a story about their systems being down unaware that I have a family member that works there and I knew that wasn’t the case. She just failed to call me back. I called back the next day and she picked up the phone again as I begin to explain the story she never owned up to speaking to me the following day. I had to tell her she was indeed the person I had spoken to. And that she had also dropped the ball along with the store by not keeping her word. In which she could have easily attempted to reach a resolution. I advised her to process my refund and she agreed. I have yet to receive my refund and have had to call back continuously. This has been the biggest inconvenience and inconsistency that I have experienced with a furniture store in a long time. If you’re looking for a great client service experience Ashley is not the place to shop. Please save yourself the time and frustration. Sincerely a displeased customer.

I received a damaged sofa from the store delivery. When I attempted to have the sofa replaced they would not. The store managers simply states that all sales are final. They will send a technician out to repair the sofa. I asked for them to reduce the price as the sofa is no longer new and they replied with a NO. I am a valuable customer and they don’t care about the customer. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

I have have been an Ashley customer for years. No more. All they care about is getting stuff out the door. I had a wall unit delivered on a Wed. and Friday night, I put my crystal bride and groom wine glasses and my cake topper from 36 years ago. The shelf collapsed and these items were broken. Regardless of dollar value, it is about sentimental value. I called the store and they weren't answering the phone. I called the sales person 3 times and left a voice mail. It wasn't until the last call when I said that I was coming over, that I received a call back. I was told the reason that the phone wasn't being answered is there is "a big event with a DJ and Food Trucks and everything". I was also told that once delivered the store can't help and I had to call customer service. I was given a local number that didn't work. I spent over 4 hrs on the phone trying to get this resolved. I won't even go through what this nightmare has been. I would recommend not shopping at a store, that can't help once the item is delivered and there is a problem.

We shopped Ashley's often beginning in Long Island and now in Tampa, happy with product and especially service.

We stopped in to look at dining tables. Edna greeted us, pointed us in the right direction, & then gave us ample time to browse the showroom before checking in on us again. We let her know which table we wanted and asked if we could take it home same day. She quickly worked us through the paperwork & gave great instructions so that we would be able to make it to the distribution center before they closed for the day. Definitely request Edna if you stop in, she was fabulous!

Terrible customer service and total SCAMMERS. Took our furniture back and never refunded us. I bought $4000 in furniture from this store including a coffee table. After a few days I noticed holes in the coffee table with fresh wood dust around the holes each day. Turns out they were wood worms. So I called the store and they said in order to process a return we'd have to have a professional exterminator identify the bugs and write a report as the bugs may have been introduced in our home (already a poor sign of customer service). So we called an exterminator who identified them and said those bugs stay in the wood for years before emerging so they could not have been introduced in our home. He wrote a report that we submitted to Ashley Furniture. Ashley had a team come out and pick up the coffee table and said they'd issue a refund in 3 days. IT'S BEEN 3 MONTHS of back and forth with them--at one point they even denied we had purchased ANYTHING from the store. So they not only took the furniture back, but have not issued a refund. We call customer service, they tell us to call the local Brandon store, no one picks up, or they redirect us to customer service. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE and waste of time. Another family in our neighborhood said the same happened to them and it took them 6 months to get a refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I highly recommend not visiting or shopping with Ashley Furniture, especially at this location. We had a terrible experience with the sales staff (Jazmine) and are still struggling to hear back from anyone to help us. We made a major, multi-item purchase, when the items were delivered, two of the items ended up being too large for our space, we immediately returned to the store location to discuss our options to switch out the pieces of the couch for others to ensure it better fit the space, (within the 72 hour timeframe required in order to handle these requests), at that time, the sales person made it seem like it was no problem and claimed to file the request for us to return and replace the requested items ... weeks went by without us receiving the new items and we had to literally visit the store an addition 2x in order to get ahold of our sales person (Jazmine) because she would not respond to our efforts to reach out. After we had to physically go in to the store, we finally received our replacement item but to this day we are still waiting for an item to be picked up that we requested to return and are now paying for items we don't even have and / or had replaced. We are STILL waiting for responses from our sales person along with another staff member she tried to pass us off to because she claimed they would better be able to assist us. It's now been over 3 months ... HORRIBLE customer service, gone completely unresponsive and I'm now convinced we are paying more than we need to. Very unhappy and would highly suggest not even wasting your time with Ashley Furniture and this location specifically.

We went to Ashley's looking for a couple of casual chairs to sit in our front room by the window. I knew I would know what I wanted as soon as I saw it. Then, there it was! I wanted color, a fun print and a size big enough to fill the space. So I ordered two of the chairs. maybe a little more than I wanted to spend, but they were exactly what I had in mind! Even Hubby liked them, which was a minor miracle since we seldom agree on such things. We went to check out (sorry I forgot the lady's name that waited on us, but she was very nice). They no longer treat the chairs for stains, which was a little disappointing. Of course she tried to sell us a warranty, which I always refuse to buy. The transaction was over so I paid, and she told us that our chairs would be here in two days. I must admit I was skeptical. I didn't believe that it would happen in two days, but lo and behold two days later our chairs arrived. I checked them all for tears or any kind of damage. They were perfect. The gentleman bringing the chairs in and setting them up were great, no issues at all! We put them in place where we wanted them and stood back and admired our new sitting area.Not 10 minutes late. My phone rang and it was someone from Ashley's asking if everything went OK with our delivery. I was very impressed with that. I call that Good service.We will return to Ashley's if we need anything else for our home.

I just relocated to Florida and while searching for furniture we walked into Ashley Furniture. After speaking with a sales person we decided on some furniture but could not purchase until a few days later after the closing of our home . Upon our return we were helped by Sam and we couldn’t have been happier. Sam is the ultimate professional. It was refreshing dealing with a salesman who actually guided you with expertise instead of just trying to sell you something you would regret . He was patient ,informative and educated us when we had questions. Sam went out of his way to make sure that the original sales person we saw got credit for the large purchase that we made and although he wasn't the one getting the credit he took care of us as if we were his own clients. That says a lot about a person in today’s cut throat world . Unfortunately for the original sales person Sam has gained our future business and he is an asset to Ashley Furniture store he should be commended for his dedication and continue to give Ashley my business as long as Sam is my salesman. Went to Ashley by mistake thinking that the store location was the competition RTG. We just entered to have a comparison between the furnitures that we already selected in RTG. Ended buying my furniture in Ashley for the following reasons: 1- the welcome and treatment by the employees. Laura was great and sale process was smooth. 2- Selection alternatives 3- Furniture style, construction and quality.

Employees are incompetent and do not know their return policies. We ordered a table from Ashley online a couple weeks ago, my wife decided she didn’t like it. She went into the store physically to process the return and find something to swap it out with, no problem. The employees were happy to help her and reassure her of the 30 day return policy. Fast forward to today, I have an email from Ashley saying because we waited more than 72 hours to process the return, we are unable to return it. Why are your employees telling people they have 30 days to return online orders when they don’t? Incompetent organization, will never spend another cent at Ashley, and this was the third large piece of furniture I’d bought from them.

A horrible experience and still continuing for 8 weeks. Had a damaged piece that was advised to Ashley on December 30 and was ordered. Still do not have this piece. First they lost the order. Then reordered after 2 weeks. They do not answer the phone. Went to the store 2 weeks ago since they don’t answer the phone. This “manager” was supposed to call back with an update. And as usual no call back. It’s now 8 weeks since I reached out. I do not have this piece and it’s a supporting piece for a dresser. Let’s see if this gets their attention There are much better options for furniture.

I hate to do this but I feel compelled. First I would like to say I have been a faithful customer to Ashley for 14 years. Me and my husband have been buying furniture there since we got married, most of our house is filled with their furniture and we also hold an account with them. We have not had any bad experiences up until last year. We have bought with them on multiple occasions and every time the sales associate convinces us to buy the furniture protection with the catch that if we do not use it within the 5 years we could get the money that we spent on it back in the form of store credit. Knowing that we had placed a few orders with them before the pandemic and one of which we never used the protection plan, we made sure to call them back at the 5-year mark so that we could utilize the credit. I called the furniture protection company first who then told me that in order to get the credit I would have to call the store directly. Upon calling the store, I was met by two individuals who were EXTREMELY rude. The first sales associate or customer service rep. I believe her name was Emma but I'm not sure and the second was the sales manager whose name was Andrea. They both swore me up and down that the store never carried such a program which I knew wasn't true. The sales manager Andrea continued to be so rude that I just ended the call with her. Knowing that I did not make up this in my head, I decided to call a different location which was Dale mabry. Upon calling Dale mabry, the sales associate immediately knew of the offer that I was referring to but said I would have to call the store in order to get it. After explaining my situation, she put in a case number with corporate. To my surprise after calling corporate they were no help and told me that I would have to get in contact with the store which told me that this never happened so they were not willing to help me. I waited a few months to hear back from corporate. They never called. I called them again and they put in another ticket for me and told me that they will call me between 24 and 48 hours. That never happened. So here I am writing this review. As of faithful and avid customer of Ashley furniture HomeStore, I am very disappointed in their customer service and their chain of command. I would have expected that at least corporate will be able to help me with this issue. With both the Brandon store and corporates lack of concern for honesty and care of their faithful customers is what is calling me to send my business elsewhere. Unfortunate situation but I do not have to spend my money, nor time where I am not valued or appreciated. If you do not want to honor a special, then do not have your sales associates bring it up when they're trying to make a sale.I gave the extra star out of courtesy for my previous experiences there which were quite pleasant.

We are missing three items, valued at ~$400. The crew didn't do an inventory, we didn't sign anything, they damaged our drywall, then they scramed.

Wasn't to happy about how I was treated with paying for my furniture your check inspection company has got a lot to learn on how to treat paying customers I was totally imbarist when I had to go to the bank and get cash and for that I will not be doing business with Ashley again

Phenomenal customer service from the best sales associate, Ms. Edna. She answered every question we had, and she was so patient with us. Ms. Edna went above and beyond assisting us even after our sectional sofa was delivered. One of the pieces of our sectional was deficient, and she helped us file a claim and got a technician out to fix our sofa a few days later. Ms. Edna cares about her customers because no matter how busy she gets, she always responds and always willing to help. I wouldn’t go to anyone else but Ms. Edna and I definitely recommend her to anyone. If you ever go to Ashley Furniture in Brandon, go ask for Ms. Edna!

If I could give 5 negative stars I would! The customer service is awful. I went in store and shopped a beautiful real wood bar set with 3 chairs. Delivery day is here and we receive our items all 3 chairs are damaged one wobbly, and the other 2 the nail is coming through the seat. The table has one leg shaking as well. We are explaining to the delivery team we do not want these damaged items (it’s late at night pouring rain) and they keep saying ok sign here and they will come and pick up. His English was horrible and kept saying the same thing. Turns out we are signing and accepting the furniture so we go to the store and the Sales Manager at the Brandon location says oh there’s nothing we can do in store. This is a corporate store. What does that even mean? She says I will open a ticket and expedite this you should hear something in 2 hours. She also said if you don’t hear anything call me she said she gave me her direct number that was a lie. The number provided was a useless number that rings and rings and no one answers. She also said she would be there in Monday night and if all else fails she would help get a resolution on Monday night I called the store Monday and she was on a vacation. At this point I have to laugh I am furious so I call the store speak/yell at this point and she said she’s opening a ticket lol 😂 so I said yes please and hopefully it’s open cause I’ll be there in 2 hours after work. Ironically someone called back in 10 mins and says as a courtesy they will arrange a pick up for the damaged furniture… Yes a courtesy! So here we are on Saturday 01/20/24 and they have the wrong address! 5 hours later the pick up team made it to the correct address they come to pick up the damaged items with no paperwork stating what is being picked up or by who or when. I tell them I am not releasing the furniture due to their lies and deceit until I get paperwork stating I am returning items. They waiting in my home for almost one hour on the phone with their dispatch/customer service in a different country going round and round. Finally the driver screen shots me something with the description of my items stating they were picked up. Shout out to him because he fully understood my concern. Now let’s see if legal action will be necessary for my refund? I am total disgusted and disappointed with this company. The absolute worst customer experience from a furniture store.

She allowed us a day to talk over our options without having to make an immediate purchase. We came the next day with a decision and immediately looked for Edna. She helped us with our purchase. If I could give 0 stars I would. Extremely dissatisfied and so frustrated with their poor customer service.I ordered a bed frame from there via phone with one of their reps on November 13th. The only reason I ordered through them over the phone was to inquire about the delivery dates. I completed the order and it came in within 2 days instead of 5 weeks. I receive the bed and within 24 hours I call and ask to exchange the bed as the quality was horrible. The bed is not sturdy and wobbles with every move.I get told that someone will call or email me within 72 hours. A week goes by, NO RESPONSE.I go in person to one of the stores and a sales rep explains to me that the bed I purchased was one of their lesser quality items. I follow up with customer service in person and they apologize for the lack of outreach and tell me my claim was denied due to me purchasing in person. I explain I purchased over the phone and that the bed frame is not sturdy and is poor quality. They tell me they will update my ticket and contact within 48 hours. Again, NO RESPONSE.I call back the following week and customer service schedules a technician to come out and evaluate the bed. I explain the bed is not damaged but the quality is poor and we are dissatisfied with the craftsmanship. Almost every piece of furniture I own is Ashley and I have never had this experience. She explains this is a part of their process and he will come out to evaluate the bed.The gentleman comes over on a Tuesday, determines the same thing I've been saying from the beginning. The bed is wobbly and not sturdy. It has no damages or defects. He tells us he will recommend a new selection and we will hear from customer care again within 48 hours. Again, No RESPONSE.I email by Friday, no response!I call on Monday. Get told about the policy again for no returns on in person purchases. I explain for the 4th time I never purchased this bed in store. I was emailed a link to pay after calling in and I have never seen such a poor quality item from Ashley Furniture after spending THOUSANDS over the years here. She tells me they will contact me in 48hours.Today I finally get an email stating this:"Hello,This is Ashley Furniture, reaching out to advise you that as per our terms and conditions, Ashley Furniture does not allow returns or reselections once the items have been delivered and invoiced. Unfortunately your refund request has been denied at this time. If you have any questions please call us at 800-477-0097.Thanks for shopping Ashley Furniture! "This has been 30 days dealing with this bullshit and HOURS wasted due to complete lack of follow up from their team. I will NEVER purchase anything from Ashley again and will make sure my family and friends do the same.

I placed an order over the phone for a coffee & end tables set I viewed on the Ashley website because they were not available at the store location. It was an easy process. The rep I spoke with was very helpful. Looking forward to receiving the tables soon.

My wife and i ordered a temerpedic mattress and frame $8,900 and a sofa $4,600 however my wife found the exact sofa for a much lower cost. Ashley would not honor the internet vendor (even though there was nothing in the fine print) therefore i cancelled the order the following day of purchase.  That was the last time i had any interaction with Ashley furniture. In October, we received the sofa from 1stopbedroom, however sofa pieces were damaged and we have an open claim with them to replace or repair damaged pieces.  They explained that they will contact the manufacturer (in this case, the manufacturer is Ashley) for repairs/replacement. Fast forward to December where i received notification via email from Ashley about a delivery.  Delivery arrived on Dec 12th and it was my assumption (confusion too) that this delievry was directly related to my open claim with 1stopbedroom as i have never (not once) called or went into the store to make an order. My account also had not been charged, not until last Friday when i was hit with a charge of $4,622.55 at which point i realized that this delivery was unrelated to our purchase. I called last Sat, however that store was closed the weekend and when speaking with their customer service, they explained that as i accepted the order and it was outside 72 hours there was nothing they could do. I called and spoke with the store this monday 18th where they opened a case for me. I called today 21st to get an update and they explained that they closed the case citing the same script i received above. I have explained to Ashley that this is an unusual circumstance,  and appears to be a system issue on their side but they refuse to accept a return on their mistake and refund my money. Its also very unusual for a company to deliver an expensive item without charging you first. They charged my account only after delivering the sofa. Ive called today 21st to dispute the charge with the credit company and you're my next route.

Nanka was amazing! Made us feel welcome and made sure to be available for any questions without the need to follow through the entire store. Were in and out in less than an hour and purchased a new living room set. Go see her!

First time purchasing anything. Found the furniture we were happy with. But VERY disappointed that Debbie the sales person added the warranty for the kitchen table without our consent. We paid the bill, didn't and realize that day the warranty was added for $129. She never asked us if we wanted the warranty on the table. I assume she is trying to meet a quota. How unprofessional and deceitful. Now we have to jump through hoops trying to get that money back. They can't help us in the store because we picked the table up. We didn't see the charge until the day we went to pick it up. Now we have to show proof, send a picture of our ID a reason why through e-mail in order to hopefully convince them!?? Bad system.
