Very customer focused. Well organized and beautiful store. Sales associate Vickie Curtis and Sales Manager Mary were very helpful. We will return to Ashley as compared to the other Brandon furniture stores (which happen to be much more pricey for what they carry and/or not so organized but to push a sale like Rooms to Go).

We have, on three separate occasions, gotten furniture from Ashley now. This past time, Dustin met us at the door. We told him that we had purchased a floor model dining room set before, with 4 chairs, and that we needed to find 4 more chairs that would match the set somehow. We knew that the set was older and that there was no way the chairs would be exactly the same. We were MISTAKEN. Dustin worked some magic and found us 4 of the EXACT same style of dining room chairs, so we now have 8 exactly matching chairs around our wonderful dining room table. Purchased a recliner for Christmas at the Brandon, FL store. Sales rep, Johnathan Peyton was great. Pick up at warehouse was smooth. All around good experience! Happy with the product and price.
I was going to buy a furniture set here, however they would not take the gift certificate I had and the general manager was extremely rude about it. I wont be doing business with them any longer.
This place is a joke. Bought a couch here and paid for delivery. Had Salvation Army pick up old couch the day the new one was SUPPOSED to come in. Waited ALL day only to find out they had us listed as in-store pick up, despite the fact that we paid for delivery. To add insult to injury, two weeks was the soonest next delivery date they could do. Don't bother with this place.
I can't believe the headache this store has given me. I purchased a couch on February 2nd 2015. I received the wrong color couch. I told the sales person I wanted the couch that was on the showroom floor. Needless to say, they delived the wrong colored couch 3 TIMES!!!!! Twice the same color. Finally I was told the number listed on the showroom floor was incorrect (which I mentioned to the manager could have been a possibility the first time it was delived incorrectly). The last time the couch was to be delivered (2 months later), I received a call the night before stating my furniture was on backorder for another 2 weeks. After the hassle, I decided to cancel. My furniture was picked up on March 19th (the wrong couch from the initial delivery), and I still haven't received credit back for the cost. After the reviews that I've read I'm wondering if I just might lose the 1200 for the worst customer experience of my entire life. I was so excited to buy my first brand new couch. Well, thank you for ruining that Ashley Furniture.
We bought leather couches 3 years ago and the leather is peeling. I cannot get any response from them. There warranty company the use is guardsmen. They do not cover defects. I dont see why we even bought a warranty if they cover nothing. We were told by the store when we bought them that the warranty covers everything for 5 years. We have spent several thousands of dollars with Ashleys and now wondering what other poor quality we will see. If this would have started happening a year ago we would not have gone back and spent more money there. If you want quality leather couches then dont even look at Ashleys furniture .
Absolutely worst experience you could ever imagine! I am so upset and NEVER plan to shop there ever again. In fact, I send everyone I know to everywhere else EXCEPT Ashley! I bought my bedroom set through their RAC. I took 3 buses to get to their location. I was VERY specific about what I wanted. I ordered the bed, the mattesses, the media chest and a 3 draw night stand. Now even though I had been there early, it took them hours to complete the contract even when there was no else there. It took them so long they didn't finish until the store closed and I missed my bus and had to have someone pick me up because I was literally stranded. Now please be mindful that I always review the contract, the contract did not allow me to see which nightstands it had, but I was sure to ask them to check that it was correct and to try to get me out of the store as fast as possible they assured me and said everything was fine. But that's not the worse part. When delivery came a month later, I took the day off of work. The guys set everything up and the very last thing they brought inside was the night stand. Can anyone tell me why it was a 2 DRAWER NIGHT STAND AND NOT THE THREE?? I immediately call them and tell them that this is NOT what I ordered! They them tell me that someone must have made a mistake. But Either Way To Have The Situation Corrected They Said I Have To: HAVE THE GUYS TAKE DOWN THE FURNITURE AND TAKE IT BACK. I HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE STORE ON 3 BUSES TO HAVE A NEW CONTRACT CREATED WITH THE CORRECT NIGHT STAND, THEN HAVE THEM DELIVER IT TO ME AGAIN WHENEVER THEY CAN, MEANING I HAVE TO TAKE ANOTHER DAY OFF. THEY WERE COMPLETELY UNWILLING TO DO ANYTHING TO ACCOMMODATE ME FOR THEIR ERROR. EVERYTHING WAS CORRECT EXCEPT THE NIGHT STAND AND THEY WERE UNWILLING TO JUST CORRECT THE CONTRACT AND SWITCH OUT THE NIGHT STANDS. INSTEAD THEY WANTED EVERYTHING TO GO BACK. SO BECAUSE AT THAT TIME NOT ONLY COULD I NOT AFFORD TO THE ARE ANOTHER DAY OFF AS MY JOB REQUIRES MY PRESENCE, I DIDN'T HAVE THE TIME TO TAKE ANOTHER 3 BUS RIDE AND I FELT HORRIBLE FOR THE GUYS BECAUSE MY BEDROOM SET IS EXTREMELY HEAVY AND I DID NOT HAVE THE HEART TO TELL THOSE MEN TO TAKE IT DOWN AND SEND IT BACK. SO NOW EVERYDAY OF MY LIFE I AM STUCK WITH A NIGHT STAND I NEVER EVEN WANTED WHEN I SPENT A BIT OVER $3,000 ON THIS BEDROOM SET! BEWARE. NEVER GO THERE!!
If your looking for decent furniture with all the fun of buying a used car, than, this is the place for you. After all the haggling and the back and fourth between your sales rep and their manaher you can actually save a few hundred dollars off the marked pricing. Beware, though, they insist they DO NOT have a return policy and god forbid if you pick up from the warehouse instead of paying for delivery they will refuse to come out and fix a manufacturer defect. Instead they will insist that you need to drive you defective merchandise back to the warehouse where someone will try and fix it for you. Funny how they won't tell you that when you are buying though. I even asked to speak with a district manager about the issue and the lady on the phone told me they don't have the info!.!. She then told me he would be in touch with me...72 hours later and, surprise surprise, nada. There are plenty of other places to spend alot of money on furniture, choose one of them.
I was refered to visit Ashley Furniture from a friend. As I entered the building with my girlfriend we encountered a woman named Vickie Curtis. Vickie seemed very delightful off the start as would any sales person trying to hook a sale. As we browsed the items we were asked "What is your price range?" After providing our range of what we are looking to spend, we were provided a rude response of "Well I guess we will move on from here." After walking a bit we encountered a nice Couch and Loveseat that was onsale for their Memorial Day sale, and boy what a steal it was $499 for both!!! After letting Vickie know we were interested in that item numerous other items were attempted to be pushed down our throats until I finally had enough and said we just want the Couch and Loveseat, even with the horrible comments and rude actions we still wanted to make the purchase. After looking in the computer to see the delivery date would be 2 weeks out for the couch and over a month for the loveseat we still wanted to make the purchase, and was a little sad that we could not receive the items sooner, but the sales associate was sure to make the comment " You can either wait for these, or spend more money and get something sooner" So after still deciding to move forward with the purchase after numerous rude and unprofessional comments we started to discuss shipping. We were told it would be $69 each piece for delivery because it was a split delivery, after questioning this we were finally told "Well their not making any money off this set and actually losing money its just a way to get people into the store so we have to charge like that for delivery" I was floored by this comment, and felt like we had struck gold on the getting the worst customer service orientated rep possible! I feel like Ashley Furniture should contact me to offer some sort of resolution to this, like free delivery on both pieces to try to rectify the experience we received, as I will NEVER recommend ANYONE to this company if this is the kind of service experience they support!!!
WORST store i've ever gotten furniture from.Ive waited 3 whole weeks for my bed and dresser which was supposed to be here May 14th,and they even sent me a text message and called saying it was gonna be delivered that day.well that never happened.i even had to cancel some plans i had because i was waiting all day for this stupid delivery to be made and it never happened.called the store they gave me some bullshit excuse then gave me another number to call and now they are telling me my furniture will be delivered Sunday which is a week after it was supposed to be delivered.so yea worst customer service ever.now officially have to wait a whole month for my bed and dresser to arrive.and not even a sorry or nothing from them.
I ordered a full size and twin size sleeper sofas and it has been almost a month and I still don't have my furniture. They attempted to deliver them twice and both times they were damaged. The first delivery they came almost an hour too early and wondered why no one was home. The second delivert they came an hour and half too 8:30pm on mother's day. The drivers were given the wrong phone number and could not get a hold of me. Their delivery systems is garbage no communication at all. The only positive thing that I can say was the initial purchase at the store. If their logistics and delivery were as good as the store experience they would get 5 stars. My wife had to take a day off the first delivery and lost out on mother's day the second attempt, yet this company is not compensating in any way. They do not care about the customers at all. The third attempt is for Thursday and I am thinking on cancelling and going some where else. It is very sad how low this company has gotten. I usually purchase my furniture at Ashley's when I lived in Pennsylvania and had great experiences and now in Florida horrible. Update: Today May 12 again they tried to deliver a used sofa. Supposely the supervisor removed the packaging ti inspected. If that was the case why was the other one still in the packaging. Who inspects just one piece and not the other. Horrible company never again. Cancelling order today. Now I have no sofas to seat down.
Walked around entire store not one person asked if I needed help. They were more interested in talking to each other.
Just my personal opinion but really bad prices, most things there are overpriced and some of the over priced stuff is bad quality. Sales people pester and annoy you when you are just looking trying to find whatever it is you want and make it stressful. Wife and i will not be going back.
Let me first say we purchase furniture through Ashley all of the time. My complaint is regarding the customer service I received today. Hind was very unpleasant to work with. She was very rude and matter of fact. I came here to purchase three bar stools, knew exactly what I wanted before I walked in the door, so she did not have to sell me on anything. She simply needed to conduct the transaction/purchase. When I had follow up questions regarding pick up she would not give me a straight answer. Extremely dissatisfied today.
