We purchased a loveseat, the experience was excellent. We had all of our questions answered. They delivered our loveseat on time, the delivery crew was very respectful and did a great job. I would highly recommend Ashley.

i bought the millennium leather power reclining couch and loveseat. and i love it!! the color is perfect and leather is so soft!! my salesperson Brett at the clearwater store was fabulous!! he was very patient with me while i made up my mind which pieces i wanted. delivery was smooth and they were gentle with my new furniture. i couldnt be happier!!!

My wife and I are in the early stages of shopping for furniture for our new home. We stopped into Ashley to look around and get a feel for styles and pricing etc. We need full bedroom, living room, dining, and outside patio furniture so we were looking at basically everything. The sales person, Brett, introduced himself right when we walked in and we politely explained that we were not planning on buying anything today and that we're in the exploring stage. He continued checking in on us often as we looked throughout the store, which is to be expected- I know it's commissioned work. Each time we politely reiterated we were just looking and didn't really need any assistance. Finally, while in the mattress area he comes up to is again, for probably the 3rd or 4th time, asks if we would like him to get a mattress specialist for us. Again we politely advise that won't be necessary. A moment or two later, he shows back up anyway with the store manager, whom he explained is also is a mattress specialist (?). This time, we again advised we didn't need a mattress specialist, or any help whatsoever, as we're just looking and we politely asked if they wouldn't mind simply leaving us be to look on our own, until/unless we had any questions etc. The sales person became visibly frustrated at this request, as he explained that they are a commission based showroom, all the while the so called manager is standing right next to him, allowing him to speak to us this way. By now, it became very obvious that if we didn't intend to purchase anything today, they would prefer us to leave. I was really blown away by how poorly we were treated. I DO understand they're paid on commission, which is why we explained as soon as we walked in the store that we didn't need help because we're not ready to buy today. What I didn't understand, was that you're expected to not even look at their furniture if you're not ready to purchase. We've bought from a different Ashley location before, but needless to say we won't be buying from this one, and likely not from any other location either. We've never been treated so poorly. The one positive that came out of it, was we were still wanting to see some furniture, so we ended up driving just down the road to City furniture, where the experience could not have been more night and day. We were WELCOMED warmly, invited to look around their huge showroom, without being harassed, and even given complimentary fresh baked cookies. Even the furniture was more fashionable and seemed to be of better quality. So we'll most likely be outfitting our new home from there instead.
