I was looking for a mattress & Ashley didn't have one Sterns & Foster Med pillowtop mattress.
I visited the Ashley Clearwater store on Black Friday. I had spoken to Sean on the phone earlier that day. The item I had originally needed information on was not in the Clearwater store to view. He did tell me, however, that there were other pieces in that line that I could see. I was most interested in the color. When I entered the store, he greeted me and walked me over to the items that he spoke to me about on the phone. On our way, he showed me another item that I actually liked better. He was very patient and spent as much time as I needed. Along with the entertainment center,I ended up purchasing a queen sofa bed and I was quite happy with the experience. I called later that day to change one of the items in the entertainment center that I had purchased and replace it with another one of similar type. Again, he was very helpful and Customer Service dealt with the change with absolutely no problem. I was very happy that I decided to visit the store that day. It was a long day for the employees and I appreciated their time and expertise.
I had a great experience today at Ashley Molly was great. I was there on Friday but I guess I took too long to decide so the man that was with me just walked away and never came back so I finally left. It was great Thank you Molly
We went in to look while heading to a different future store. We found a set we both loved but walked away. The other furniture store was a disappointment and we came back. The sale was easy, financing was easy and 0% interest was great. We will be back for more furniture for sure.

Employees not trained or aware of products & store policies. Was told by store at delivery of new mattress old one would be picked up never happened called store to discuss with manager put on hold 30 minutes never answered. Wth the amount of furniture stores around you would think the employees in Clearwater would attempt to do the right thing. Never again

Arielle Rodriguez was a phenomenal employee of Ashley furniture! From day one she allowed to us experience the store and explore. She was available to answer any questions and ensured we had what we needed. We went back and she made sure we understood everything, all costs, warranty’s and more. We closed the deai with her and we are happy!

They did not accept a return on a $2800 couch in perfect condition within the 30 day window. Their response is sickening. They will say sorry you did not know the policy. I can’t name one other furniture store that has such a shady return policy. Extremely unprofessional and not at all upfront about that when I purchased. The sales rep did not tell me that nor was it listed anywhere. I wanted to purchase this $2800 couch online, it was sold out. So I called this Clearwater store and ordered it over the phone. This was a full price item and they gave me a 15% discount. Received the couch and it was not comfortable so I wanted to return within the 30 day window. I called them and they told me all “in store purchases” are final. That is outrageously poor customer service. And a shady customer service policy. I will never buy anything from Ashley again. Cheap furniture and lousy customer service. This is why I normally buy from Costco and Lazy Boy. I will be tossing their uncomfortable couch out. Imagine the company they could be if they actually wanted to make customers happy and do what is right. Or imagine if they were so confident in their product they took returns back within 30 days if unsatisfied. Amazing it’s 2024, and companies are still operating this poorly
I just went furniture shopping at the Clearwater location for the first time in 15 years, and Ariele was amazing. She was super helpful, answered all my questions, helped me put everything together and made financing super easy and not so painful :-)

To everyone purchasing furniture at this location be careful I will never do it again. I got an entire bedroom set that came infested with Bittle bug from their warehouse ,paid the pest control twice to do treatment , didn’t work I have proof how bad the entire set had bugs , and this company is the hardest to communicate with no one knows procedures or next steps , they also don’t pick up the furniture infested and don’t even recommend or help pay someone to get rid of that furniture , now I’m waiting on a refund that’s not guaranteed but the last thing I want is to get furniture if it’s coming from the same warehouse. What kind of customer service is this ? I wish I could give a zero star that’s how disappointed we are.

20% off sale but… after I spent hours picking out various pieces of furniture, when the final bill was calculated, I am THEN told you only get the 20% IF you also purchase the protection plan!!! If you don’t, you only get 10%. They don’t tell you that until you have aprecast invested a lot of time and energy. I don’t mind a protection plan on things like fabric covered chairs but night stands? And end tables? Really not necessary. Very shady way to deal with people. Also the sale was to “help” hurricane victims. I don’t think making them spend half of what they were saving on a protection plan they will most likely never use if being helpful or honest. VERY sketchy business practice.

So basically don’t ever order anything from this store. First I was told my couch would be here today (Monday the 21st). Then I got a call saying my wedge was back ordered so I wouldn’t get that but I would still get the rest of my couch. Meaning 2 separate deliveries. I’ve been waiting at home all day for this couch to get delivered and eventually it was past the delivery time so I called customer service. They told me that my delivery got cancelled today and I’d have to wait another week for my couch. There has been ZERO communication between the company to me. I was the one that had to reach out. They left my couch at the warehouse instead of delivering it. And now they’re saying there’s no way to get it delivered any sooner since it wasn’t delivered today on an open date. Honestly the worst experience I’ve had furniture shopping. Edit-updating to 3 stars only because of the warehouse director. He contacted me and had the couch delivered today (10/23). He seemed like the only person I spoke to who knew what was going on with the couch. Right before he called me today to tell me that the couch was being delivered Ashley customer service had called me and told me I wouldn’t we getting it till the 30th. Glad to have someone who knows what’s going on. To the warehouse director thank you so much!

Order furniture a month ago. We moved from new york to Florida and our stuff was gonna be here the same day. The delivery times changed 3 times and now they won't deliver the stuff that was order 5k worth BTW. Because of the rain. Now we are here with no beds and couches or kitchen tables to eat or sleep.
My mom michelle Order furniture a month ago. They were delivering it today and won't now because of the rain. Spent 5k and I have no bed to sleep on no couch. Just moved to Florida clearwater from New York. Now my family has to sleep on the floor and eat our dinner on the floor until they can deliver. So mad I thought this was a top of the line company but I guess not. Never do thus again would rather do it all myself and known it will get done know matter how much rain comes down.

I would give it less than one for sure I am a very upset customer and also a repeat customer! I have bought a bedset from Ashley funiture in Clearwater location in 2020 and was satisfied so I went back to by another bed set September 6 2024 and Ismael Gonzales Rodrigue was my sales representative and he sold me the wrong bed he sold me a bed that needed a box spring! I don't want a boxspring I wanted like I bought before storage and mattress only! They had my bedroom set delivered to my house on Wednesday September 11 2024 and the installer told my 80 year old mother that I need a box spring for the bed they were setting up! This is the wrong bed and is still set up in my bedroom and the mattress is still rolled up because I was supposed to get an email from corporate office so I could get the right bed! I went to the Clearwater location the same day to let them know we got the wrong bed on wed September 6 2024 talked to manager Liam Rodriguez and he said he would put the claim on that day my claim number #09693096 so it has been well over 72 hours I called Saturday morning September 14 2024 customer service and they said I would get a email that day! Still nothing! I call today September 16 2024 and customer service says they sent to wrong management and I have to wait another 72 hours this is Ridiculous for me to have to go this long with out a bed! For one I am going to never shop from you again your sales reps and customer service is unprofessional for me to have to wait and go without a bed this long! I am still waiting for an email back ! So either I can get the right bed or my money back! And still haven't heard back from them they are in my opinion scam Artist!

Terrible! They never will answer their phone, then when u come in for service they make u wait when no one is waiting in front of u! If u want service like this just shop online
In store customer service never answers the phone. To the point where you have to go into the store for answers, and can see employees deliberately not answering the phone. In store purchased arrived damaged, after waiting months for it to be delivered.
Brought our 80 year old grandmother to Ashley Furniture for a new couch and spoke with Brett. We had no issues and Brett was fantastic throughout the entire purchase. When we got home, all my grandmother could talk about was how great Brett was and we even went back two days later to purchase the matching love seat, I imagine mostly due to the generosity of Brett and how great he was. Highly recommend the experience and if this store can make my grandma happy, I am sure it can make others happy as well.

I am happy to share my most recent experience with the Ashley store location in Clearwater. First and foremost, I would like to recognize Molly our Sales Representative who was most helpful to us during and after the sale. We were in the middle of a move (new home purchase) and money is tight. We had to break up the purchase of the bedroom set that we chose piece by piece. Additionally, we purchased a Temperpedic mattress set, which proves to be well worth the money spent (we were able to take advantage of their Labor Day sale). I don’t think I have slept this well in 10 years…..All night Long, Wow! My husband is a post back surgery patient and this has made a world of difference for him also. I have been in healthcare for many years, and we stress the importance of sleep as part of total health and wellness. On top of the attention to detail before and after the sale, Molly even helped us with the delivery. My family and I are originally from Georgia and the weekend we were to take delivery of the mattresses, I had to leave at a moments notice to go to our home town of Winder following the Apalachee Highschool shooting. This school was the school that all my girls attended and graduated from. I was “band mom” there for years and helped out. My best friend works there and her daughter is a student (thankfully they are ok). My husband stayed behind but had a scheduled medial appointment the day of delivery. Molly actually came out to our new home and waited for the delivery and my husband to return from his appointment. This was on her own time. I cannot say enough about her and the dedication she has shown. I have also sent her text on her days off and she has helped me. Please accept our sincerest Thanks and much Appreciation to Molly! Ashly has a customer for life. 😊

Ashley Furniture is horrible. Sold me a defective mattress, then replaced it with another defective mattress, TWICE!!! They wouldn't refund me. It is impossible to reach a manager or corporate office. Instead of getting help to rectify the situation fairly, I spent multiple days and countless hours on hold and being transferred in circles between people who lack knowledge and are unable to help. I will NEVER shop with them again. Buyer Beware!

Predatory sales. Do not purchase the “Protection Plan” or any other up-sale product they offer you. When the time comes that you need to use this expensive add on, this store and the company they sell for will not honor their product. They tell you everything you want to hear while selling you these useless “Plans” sometimes they even say it’s “mandatory”. It’s not. After spending over 10k at this store, they have lost my future business for life over $499.00 worth of garbage they won’t honor. Terrible customer service after point of sale. Don’t fall for their friendly sales tactics. They are just taking your money and moving on to the next.
Ann Taylor was absolutely fantastic. She helped me with every question I had. She wasn’t too over baring like most sells reps are. You could tell she genuinely enjoys the job and knows what she’s talking about. If you go to Clearwater Ashely furniture she is the one you want to ask for!

I purchased 4 items from Ashley in Clearwater. A purple mattress and smart base, a mattress protector and a bed frame. The mattress and smart base had to be picked up via the store due to it being a clearance item. The rest of the items are being delivered. Scheduled a pickup on the following Thursday with my sales associate and was unable to make that day, so let her know we were unable to make it and needed to pick it up another day. She confirmed with us Saturday would be a good day to pick up the mattress and smart base. Upon arrival to the store (with our rented U-Haul truck) we were made aware that we would not be able to pick up the items because that was only Mon-Fri. The sales associate was not there, and all I had was the text messages we exchanged telling us to come Saturday. Luckily after negotiation, the manager sean, let us take the mattress but not the smart base because it needed to be broken down. I am still questioning why it was not already broken down and off the floor as we were supposed to pick it up two days prior. Regardless, we took our mattress home. The following Monday I got a call from the front desk of the store asking when I could come pick up the smart base. Let them know that because of the situation, I would have to now find someone to pay and had a big enough vehicle to pick up the base. Asked the front desk representative to have the sales manager sean give me a call to discuss this mess of a situation. This was on 8/5. I still have no received a call from Sean. I checked in with receptionist last Thursday and she said she would remind him again. The only good service has been from the receptionist, she has been responsive and great. However Sean, the manager, has yet to reach out about an issue his employee has created. I have been left to deal with the inconvenience because of wrong information given by the employee. Will not be returning to this store and hope this can be a warning to all of the service provided here.

I went this past Saturday and Katie was amazing. I feel the need to leave this review because i’ve never had someone be so warm and welcoming. She made me feel like I wasn’t just a sale to her. She genuinely wanted to give me the best options financially. I told her my budget and my vision on what I was hoping to get. I’m still weighing out other options, but so far Ashley’s seems like a better deal. I should be back this week.

He was nice, and made the experience very welcoming, not pushy but helped me clarify what i wanted and made the process so much easier. Ask for yasser at the front door, you wont be disappointed.

Ashley's Furniture called two days before the expected full delivery to tell us the sofa was not making it. No transparency as to why. I was told we would have to wait an additional two more weeks to get the sofa we purchased. On the website, it says 1-2 weeks expected delivery but we had to wait a whole month. I called the store to speak with a manager to express frustration and that we shouldn't have to wait two more weeks on top of the time we already had to wait. The manager said she would call me when the sofa was in and she would also call the warehouse to send out a truck to deliver it sooner. Failed on that promise. Manager never called me back with an update. To the manager I spoke to, please do not make promises to customers that you cannot keep. It's bad business and it ruins your reputation. Day of delivery: The tracking system was not working. Had to wait in limbo for hours. Why offer a tracking system when it's not accurate or constantly updating. I checked it at 3:30pm and it said our delivery was for 10:30am-11:30am that day. Also, it was constantly stuck on stop 8. Terrible customer service. We bought a product and they failed to deliver it upon expected time. What it made worse- No transparency, there was a lack of organization, and no communication/follow up.

Brett was a very knowledgeable salesman and very helpful, but after that went downhill fast . Sofa And loveseat was delivered in a timely fashion , and we were waiting for end tables and coffee table . Was delivered in a box , we have to put it together which is not a big deal but was delivered damaged . They sent someone to view our claim and told us we would get a replacement then we got a call and they sent another tech and he asked if it was ok to get replacement parts instead. To us no big deal but after 7 weeks still no parts and no honest answers. Customer service has continually lied about my parts so on three occasions I have requested a refund but keep being told corporate has to approve that. Don't know why when u buy something and it's broken and can't use the items you can't get a refund , but whenever I call to check status of refund that request is not in the system. ASHLEY FURNITURE CORP IS CRIMINAL DO NOT SHOP THERE. DO NOT STAND BY THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL AND DONT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER . SHAME ON THEM . STAY AWAY

Worst experience! The sales man didn’t know I needed a box spring so he didn’t put it on the order when I stated I only had a mattress. They came to deliver and the warehouse guy said they said them. I called the store and they stated it wouldn’t be available until Mid July. I asked if I could buy one and the man would go get it so I had a bed for tonight. She then put me on hold for 2 hours. I still have no answer from them.

Part 2…I recently left a negative review regarding the return policy regarding the unopened, unused, rug that I purchased from Ashley furniture. I’m glad to report back that they refunded the full amount of the rug. As I was browsing for furniture, I saw a 5 piece decor set marked down on clearance for $21.99. I asked the salesperson for it. She attempted to ring me up for it and the item number was no longer in the system so she stated she couldn’t sell it to me. I asked what would happen to it and she stated they would throw it out. I realize it wasn’t a huge sale, but they would rather throw out something perfectly sellable instead of letting me buy it. Makes no sense.

Awful place to buy furniture! We had to go there to buy a chair that was a floor unit. Even though it was supposedly set aside for us, everyone there was clueless. While we waited for someone to help, at least SIX different sales persons approached us. When we told each one why we were there, they all walked away and did not offer any assistance. Good customer service is worth money, and the Ashley store in Clearwater won't get any more of ours!

My in-store shopping experience was pleasant. However, the quality of the furniture delivered to my house was very poor. I had 4 different deliveries of the same items that arrived with damage. I also had three different in-house repairs to fix these damages. Ashley wasted so much of my time with their defective deliveries and inconvenienced me with their poor quality product. They would e-mail the day before each delivery saying my item had gone through their VIP inspection, but the items would arrive damaged every time. Their customer care lied about reimbursing me for all the time they took out of my schedule. Once they completed the last repair they simply stopped responding to my e-mails. I don’t recommend Ashley Furniture due to their poor quality product.

I went in to buy a couch, dining room and a guest bedroom set. Selection was great! My salesperson mislead me on a couple of items…told me to order the bedframe I did not want to avoid purchasing a box spring…then tried to sell me a warrant on the “slats.” I declined and good thing! There were no slats with the bed! Bad thing…I could not receive my bed…still waiting for this to get resolved. Also, I loved how comfortable the couch in store was…my sales person assured me if we got the sleeper, it would be that comfortable or even more. NOT true! Not comfy…will have to add something to provide support and comfort. Also, chaise arrived with a scrape…need another appointment to fix that and to top it off…delivery guys broke my screen door! It no longer closes or latches!

WE arrived with my father and greeted by Yeni V. She was so amazing. Yeni was very helpful showing us the mattress and got us a print out on the 1 he liked. We then went to look at recliners and she showed us them gave us time to look . Yeni checked back on us several times. She helped us choose the right recliner, she then gave time to think and we returned to the mattress again. Yeni gave us some time and checked on us. Our father decided on the mattress and recliner and she was so helpful with the sale and financing. Yeni was a professional . She deserves more than 5 stars.
After our mother fell ill , we went to Ashley to purchase her a new mattress and recliner-Brett helped us superbly- listened but the chair arrived today and was not exactly what we wanted. ***Consumer alert****once anything is brought to your home they will not take it back for return or exchange for any reason -so make sure you see the product in the store-in person-it’s the right size, color and shape because as costumer service quoted me today” once it’s in your home it’s yours “ read the fine print. None of this was explained to us. We actually were prepared to exchange this chair today for a more expensive one that would suit our mother better but they said “no exchanges” either. Are there any other companies that do this? We know Rooms To Go has a great exchange policy. Sorry Brett- your company just lost two great customers.
Kevin was the salesman we worked with. He was approachable, gave us the space and time we wanted and needed to look around the store and discuss what we wanted. He was respectful, a good listener, communicated well and his personality was a great fit for us. He was professional and effectively communicated all of the details with us. Went in to buy a some furniture this weekend for President’s Day sale. Found a dining set that was “clearance” priced near the front of the store. It was approximately $2,300 for a dining table, 6 chairs, side board, and a dirty used rug. I asked about it and the salesperson had to go ask her manager about it since she was quite new and unsure of the details. Saleperson comes back after talking to her manager and states that it is the floor model and that I would need to have it picked up within 3 days and the price could only be discounted $50 dollars for the used (tattered) rug. I wanted to omit the rug altogether because the rug alone was almost $450 and did not want the hassle of cleaning a rug that was in such bad shape. The salesperson said that all pieces had to be sold together in order to get the sale price. I did not buy the dining set. I went to Rooms to Go instead and to the Ashley Furniture located in Pinellas Park. The Ashley Furniture in Pinellas Park has a way better selection and is much nicer than the one in Clearwater. They had the same clearance deal and their rug was in great condition. I cannot believe that the Ashley store in Clearwater was expecting me to pay hundreds of dollars for that gross rug and then expect me to pick up my furniture like I was buying from Craigslist or something. No thank you! Run from that store!

We were greated by Keith. He was kind, dressed for success and his knowledge blew us away. While shopping with my father who became a widower at Christmas, Keith's empathy was sincere. We purchased a 5 piece queen bedroom set, rug, mattress and box spring. He also sold us sofa and loveseat. We actually made 3 purchases separately and not once did he rush us or feel bothered. So sad that a major corporation would take advantage of a retired couple who purchsed their first new living room set on 2/25/2023. We purchased an all white set for $1,800 including the 5 year warranty package. In November, 2023 we noticed and reported the recliner was turning blue over the entier sitting area. Called Ashley they said it was the resposiblity of the warranty company. They came out took pictures and prepared a report. We never heard back from them untill i called. They then said because it was within the first year it was the manufactures (Ashley) problem. It is now January 2024 and nobody will take responsiblity for this. I will never purchase from them again and i guess have no choice but to file a small claim in court.
Quick convenient and easy.
We recently purchased two glass pendant lights from Ashley furniture store. The pendants were on display and were the last ones in the store. The sales team made arrangements to take them down for us the following Monday and had them ready for pickup. They also helped me carry them to my car! We love our new lights and they look beautiful over our new kitchen island!

**TRUST** the other reviews when they warn you about the shopping experience at Ashley Home Furniture. They have some of the RUDEST employees that will leave you with sincere regret for having ever invested your time and money with them. In 2019 I spent well over $5,000 on their signature ‘Cave Warrior’ 3-piece leather sofa set. Delivery projections were too far delayed so I opted to pick up from Ashley’s Distribution Center in Brandon using my own truck & trailer. They had a long loading ramp at their warehouse under a large covered parking area for cars to pick up their purchases. When my order was ready, I was prepared to back my trailer up the ramp and meet them at the freight door, but the worker in partial English said it wasn’t necessary. He said that he’ll bring it down the ramp and meet by my vehicle since the ramp was still in use. After he loaded up my trailer, an older Hispanic female manager came out and called for me to come up and meet her at the top of the ramp by the loading door. I assumed it was to sign something. As I approached the warehouse door, she starts giving me this gesture with her finger and saying “c’mere, c’mere” like I was in trouble. She has me walk past the customer barriers and come *INTO* the warehouse staging area where the customers don’t normally go. She walks me over to a wall where there is evidently a list of company rules visible only to the employees. She tells me to read out loud an item to which she was pointing. The rule said something to the effect of “Employees are not to leave the warehouse floor to load up customer vehicles”. She then proceeds to scold me in front of the other customers standing nearby who are shaking their heads in confusion. I told her quite angrily that that’s for the employees to read — I have no means of seeing that and when the warehouse employee tells me to meet him *down* the ramp in the covered parking area — I’m not in a position to second-guess whether he’s breaking the company’s rules and I further assume he knows what he’s doing. The person she should yelling at should be the employee — not the unwitting customer who just invested over $5,000 with them. I’m not one of her subordinates that she can go ridicule in front of everyone else present. I was really pissed, and made sure to complain about this when I got back to the store the next day. It’s not like I had the option to change my mind and dump the furniture out in the loading area and reject the order because I had already signed for it. Why she waited until everything was loaded before making this point was unclear. I described the warehouse manager who did this to me, to the manager of the Clearwater store, but I don’t think anything was ever done about it because I never got a call back apologizing for the incident, no less acknowledging it. Based on the other reviews, this company appears to have a top-down culture of hiring bad apples. They don’t care, so neither should you. Do yourself a huge favor, avoid the nightmares and buy from another furniture company, or you’ll likely regret it like the others did somewhere along the way!

I purchased an electric recliner in August 2021 with the extended Premium Protection Plan for 5 years for service. The recliner sounds like the motor is going. When I called Protect All to file the claim, they will not schedule a technician unless the recliner stops working. Be careful when purchasing the Premium Protection Plan, they sugar code it when you are purchasing but when it comes to filing a claim it is not what you were SOLD!!!

Very disappointing experience with Ashley in Clearwater. Highly unprofessional and downright rude sales people. Was prepared to purchase a couch, love seat and dining room table set. They gave me a small and I mean small (about 8%) discount for buying both rooms but then when I got to the desk to pay they mentioned to get the discount I would need to open an Ashley credit line at 29.99% interest to get the savings. I explained that I want to pay cash and the sales persons whole demeanor changed. Became rude and argumentative about only providing the discount with the credit line. They must get some sort of kick back. If I wanted to put the furniture on a credit card I would certainly use my existing card with a rate of 11.8% NOT 29.99%. I’ve never heard of a company punishing a customer for wanting to pay cash. I was so annoyed by the behavior of the salesman that we left. We drove down US 19 to Kane’s furniture who happened to be gearing up for a huge Black Friday sale. We found a much better quality sofa and loveseat and dining room set for almost 1200.00 less and a recliner was included as well. Not sure what is going on with Ashley but there are plenty of other furniture stores in the area willing to treat customers better and providing much better prices.

Got prequalified for 4000$ line of credit. Costumer service holded us for 30 minutes to do nothing . Asked for our phone number and said it didn’t work when it works . Asked us to do several precedures just to waste our times . Wasted my time (2 hours ) . Really bad service when I was going to spend 4000$ and be a returning costumer .
10/10, best experience I have had working with a sales professional in a long time. I had a few unusual questions and requests, but I came prepared with measurements for furniture. I left with great deals and better quality furniture than I expected going in. I had some questions about the business justification of a seasonal deal and some unusual layout preferences for furniture for my particular preferences and Theresa, the sales representative took care of all of that and exceeded my expectations in every way. I don’t normally leave reviews, but I simply have to - anything I can do to encourage integrity and transparency in sales builds trust and promotes good business practices.
It was our first business with Ashley. We were taken care of by Ms. Molly at the store. Very professional and extremely cooperative. She walked through with us from selection of the items to the checking out. I am impressed by her knack of customer care and satisfaction. Update on how awful Ashley store is. Do Not purchase furniture from them.Purchased furniture Oct 2023. I have been fighting with them for 3 1/2 months. Entertainment centerpiece showed up a month late and it was broken. They made me bring it to their store. They would NOT pick it up. They placed another order for for the broken piece and they used the wrong address. NO clue how the heck they did that after other furniture was delivered to the correct address. Had to wait AGAIN for the piece. When it shows up it's the WRONG color. I opened the other boxes and those pieces were broken. With all my frustration they told me I would get credited and I could keep the broken and mismatch pieces. I was lied to AGAIN. They are not crediting me for nothing. Don't bother trying to call their corporate office. They told me there was NOTHING they can do. They are making me pay for a broken item. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Another thing, the manager won't even talk to me. They make their employees deal with me. What kind of customer service is that?!?!I will tell you.........It's the worse I have ever experience and I am in my 50's. I did file a complaint with Better Business Bureau and if that does work, I will get with Chanel 8 and if that does not work, lawyer. You can not make someone pay for a broken item........

The quality was great 20 years ago, but the past 10 years or so, it's gone down hill. Constant issues with the couch I bought and the extended warranty is a total joke!! The warranty company subs out to another company, who subs out to the repair company. All the different companies just blame each other for no shows and no responses. After several no shows of scheduled appts for repairs, they finally showed up and said they would order parts and it would be fixed in a couple weeks. After several weeks of not hearing back, I called but no response, then left several voice mails, several emails and then constant calls. After 4 months I finally was told they aren't going to repair it now because it's a manufacture defect so it's not covered under the extended warranty. Spent over 4,000 on this junk. Never again! Ashley saved a few dollars not repairing my couch but it cost them a customer for life. Spent 4,000 to have the furniture barely last 2 yrs, and I live alone, so barely used. If you think that's value, go waste your money.

Bought a recliner, which seemed to have been comfortable for my husband when he tried it out at the store. When our item arrived, it didn't seem as comfortable. Less than 24 hours after it arrived he called the store for an exchange. Since it wasn't a factory defect they wouldn't exchange it. BTW the recliner wasn't cheap either. Before you buy anything make sure it's what you want.

Went to purchase furniture. Was told there were no more, only floor model left. Scuffed and scratches so asked for discount. At first said no then gave discount. Found online ON THEIR WEBSITE, for a great deal less and they wouldn't even match that price! They then agreed to discount to price on, AGAIN THEIR WEBSITE, plus charge me for delivery when I was there to pick up the floor model myself. What??? Canceled order and ordered brand new one online and getting delivered for less than they were charging me to take a floor model myself. Cruddy way to conduct business. Won't be back! Update to online order. A fiasco in itself.... order didn't take discount code and didn't know until order placed. 2 plus hours in chat and on phone and they can't refund discount because order was already placed. Won't be shopping Ashley in any form. I highly recommend you triple check every detail as it doesn't appear this is a company that provides a good customer experience in person or online.
Hello, About 8 months ago my husband and I purchased approximately $5,000 in fruniture along with the extended warranty. We first experienced a problem with a raised coffee table and received immediate attention and technician to fix a manufacturer defect. In June, I contacted the warranty center as our over sized ottoman began to cave in the middle. I was asked to provide photos via email on 3 different occasions. Its difficult to show depth in a 2D photo. They denied to even come out to see the breakdown of the ottoman and said it was not covered. The ottoman has had a cover in it from the day we owned it. I wouldn't expect this type if breakdown of fruniture especially a piece of fruniture that is rarely used. What good is the warranty if they will not send a technician to see its not normal wear. Buyer beware if warranty as UT appears they honor it as they see fit.
I feel like. My service rep was awesome but there was a sign on this bed that I wanted for 107 the guy looked it up in the system an he said it was an error an it wasn’t for the bed I wanted so I’m dis appointed that they didn’t honor the signs price on the floor.

The store staff is incompetent. They are all nice when selling you, but good luck if you have any questions or require any customer service before you get delivery. The sales team is a revolving door, so good luck finding your salesperson. You will be stuck with the incompetent local “customer service” crew, who will then screw up your order, stonewall you, make excuses, give you the runaround, talk down to you and push your patience to the point where when you finally you lose your cool after the fourth or fifth attempt to get assistance, they act like YOU are the problem. (I’m looking at you T and Booba - you two do not belong in customer service - it’s not your gift). Apparently the stores are also marginally connected to the corporate online store - do yourself a favor : look at the displays and furniture at the store, pick out what you want, but DONT BUY THERE. GO HOME AND ORDER ONLINE INSTEAD. You will have a much better experience. Lesson learned.
My chest of drawers arrived and was missing a handle. I called the store and the lady answering the phone was polite but I could hear the manager yelling in the background " we don't owe her a damn thing '. She quickly muted the phone, but I little too late. I won't give them any business.

Don’t waste your time or money at Ashley. We ordered a mattress and bed frame before family came down to visit so we would have both bedrooms set up. The bed frame was delivered incomplete and we had to sleep on the floor for the week. Huge inconvenience and we asked for some type of compensation for the inconvenience and they closed our case twice after calling them twice and saying someone would call us to help us out. Which never happened. Go somewhere else

Please read - I have purchased furniture from Ashley several times. I should have learned my lesson from the last time. The sales portion - an ok experience. It is the delivery and the customer service where it goes downhill. Last time I had 2 damaged dressers delivered. This time, we purchased a bedroom set plus a mattress over Memorial Day. On delivery day, the screws were missing in order to assemble the bed. I got on with customer service and they stated they would call back with in 10 minutes with an updated delivery time and date. Nothing. I reached out to my salesperson, Dawn - she was on vacation so a delayed response but was no help with resolving the issue. I have now been hold for 35+ minutes the first call and 15+ minutes for the second. The furniture is average at best and on the expensive side. It is not worth the issues with delivery and the lack of response.

Bret was a fantastic sales associate, he met me at the door, asked what brought me in. After explaining what I was looking for he pointed me in the right direction and told me he would check back. Bret did a couple of times, the last time he found me sitting on a sofa. He asked my likes and dislikes, then walked me over to something similar which I ended up purchasing. The salesperson was the nicest and most helpful of any furniture store I've ever been in with 30 years of buying furniture. I knew the exact style of couch I wanted and he took me right to one that was perfect without trying to talk me into anything different or more expensive. He asked me if I wanted any accent pieces or wall decorations and showed me some things but he did not try to push or make me feel guilty for only buying one piece. I will be back for sure!

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with a bed I purchased from Ashley Furniture; I purchased this bed in November of 2019, it was delivered and assembled in March of 2020. I was lying in bed this past December of 2022 and the frame suddenly caved in. When I removed the mattress to see what was wrong, this was the state of 2 of the support legs. I reached out to the complaint center and did not receive a response, and this was quite an expensive bed (in the range of $500-$700). It is disappointing that something this expensive barely lasted 2 years.

I thought Ashley furniture was a reputable store. I bought a living room set, leather. the recliner was making noise and tried to get them to do something. I was told it was a manufacturer defect. did I mention that I bought the 5 year furniture coverage for $800. so now one of the end tables is loosing its color and the leather on the recliner is discoloring. the $800 policy doesn't cover the leather coloring. they could give a a company to call with a discount code. Nice. I had to take pictures of the end table and send to them. I have not heard one word from them. The whole package, couch, loveseat, recliner, coffee table and end tables, cost about $9000. Ashley does not stand behind their furniture. nor does the warranty cover anything. what a waste of my money
I knew what I wanted but it was being discontinued so thought the bed might not be available. Teresa Elizabeth was able to find me a bed only slightly different of the same quality and same manufacturer. I was buying for my daughter who lives in Mass but is moving here this summer. Theresa made a complex situation very simple and we got it done.

When I purchase Again From Ashley it will be ONLINE(Corporate, NOT Local)...There is ONLY ONE, AND ONLY ONE reason I am giving this Particular Store a Four(4) star rating and it's because I like the furniture quality and the Customer Svc. Reps. ... NOT because of the sales representative whom reminds me of a Used Car Salesman. Once the sale was over, he ran when he saw me coming through the door after a 'promise of a callback'... PFFFT!!! The saving grace ARE the two Customer Service Reps.... AMAZING !!! AMAZING !!! AMAZING !!! SALES/DELIVERY MESS UP'S???? THANK GOODNESS FOR THESE TWO !!! And to the salesman, I don't think I need to mention your name 'Smooth Talker'. My wife called to see when replacement feet would be sent(3 feet missing from Chaise Lounge) and asked to speak to the Mgr. My wife was told to call corporate... The Mgr. hasn't time to speak to customers it seems... You, don't deliver a car without tires(unless you're Carvana) and have to wait two weeks for the tires... This location would be better served as a hub/warehse... Get rid of the sales people and keep the two CR's... They're All corporate would need to run the place and save $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Dawn was incredibly helpful! From walking in to the moment we made the purchase she was stellar. She made sure we were confident in our choice even after we went to another store to look at options as well. I ended up coming back an hour after because I liked the couch that much! HORRIBLE. Sales representative lied to us on the type of recliner we were being sold. Delivered the wrong recliner that we did not want. Several attempts to speak to customer service at this specific location went unanswered. Request to speak to manager, was told call back would occur and that also did not happen. Delivery team caused damage /scratches to our floor. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Highly disappointed.

Beware: After they got your money they won't care... Bought a chair there. Delivery was a nightmare. Chair is damaged/flawed. Complaints are not answered. Edit: After a complaint with BBB, Ashley at least responded. Ashley even replaced the damaged merchandise. However, the communication with Ashley still shows a severe problem with their understanding of customer service. Also, the correspondence turned out being another indictment of the educational system…
Walked in and employee directed us to the area we were looking for. He said they didn't have a lot of the stock on the floor of items we were looking for as they were remodeling the showroom. Most of the salespeople were on the younger side. They all seemed more interested in congregating with themselves as he took us to an area said to look around and if we needed anything to go get him. Would not go there again. We went to Rooms to go and the sales staff were attentive and more mature.
Look out. They give you a contract to buy you have to sign in 6 places and initial I forgot to count the times. So guess what, no matter what goes wrong you pay. I was not thinking that day. Any company that has a 10 page contract that you need to run by your lawyer is not the kind of company you want to do business with. Next time I will ask the salesperson to read it to me. Then leave. There is nothing you should want that bad to gi through that.

If I could I would put no stars! Whatever you do don't purchase the GBS warranty or expect your furniture to last from Ashley. It's pathetic how they treat their customers once you have to file a claim. I highly recommend not to buy furniture like this if you have kids or pets. I tried multiple times to speak to someone in corporate and no response.

I love the Ashley experience of furniture buying. Previously I purchased a power reclining sofa and regular reclining chair. Both have held up beautifully. So, when I needed additional pieces, I returned to Ashley. This is where I met the most wonderful sales person, Molly! Molly took so much time with me, talking and listening and going above and beyond ensuring I got exactly what I wanted. She took measurements, looked up items online and gave me her personal contact info. Molly reviewed Ashley policies with me and made the entire purchasing experience delightful. I recently went with my 88 year old Father to shop for a Queen mattress for him. Although he is on a fixed income and has limited funds he decided on a mattress, base, and topper from Ashley Furniture in Clearwater due to the quality product, warranty, and friendly sales person. It by far wasn’t the cheapest we looked at that day. The mattress arrived as scheduled but it was so firm he didn’t last 2 hours on it the first night and hasn’t slept on it since. When he contacted the store manager about a return for a softer mattress she refused and referred him to someone in corporate. They refused as well. I can’t see why they wouldn’t make an exception in this case. A kind gesture to an elderly customer would be something I’d shout praise about on social media. Unfortunately it looks more like my Dad has been “Scrooged.”

I don’t know why I even bothered with this place. I had a bad experience from before from a diff location I figured I’d give it another shot. They delivered the couches dirty and we rejected them immediately. It took about 3-4 weeks to even pick up the couches which delayed the process of getting new couches because they never confirmed in their system the actual pick up date. Every person I spoke to told me something different. I had to sit there and make phone call after phone call just to get my money back. When I spoke to customer service I spoke w the supervisor and he stated I can get my delivery fee refunded back since it was on them for delivering dirty couches. I had to keep calling to see if this transaction will eventually go through and no one stays put to their words. Extremely horrible communication and service. Will never buy from Ashley’s again. Bad customer service.
They have attempted multiple deliveries at this point and keep bringing damaged furniture. The first time the delivery driver signed for it himself after damaging my walls. Getting the run around now saying it will be a month for the next set of replacements to arrive. Will update review if and when situation gets resolved. They try to force you to accept scratch and dent items as new.
The salesperson Roxy was very knowledgeable and courteous. Also she offered me various options to chose from I will definately be using her for my next purchase as well!
Dawn Shurley was helpful and knew how to direct us to the best sectional. We visited other stores but came back to do business with her because of our selection but also because of her service. She made it easy to make our choice.
Went to Ashley because we unfortunately had to give our bed to my parents who lost everything. It seemed like everything was going great we understand it’s hard to get things nowadays so we made sure to ask that everything we were buying was in stock in the Tampa warehouse and we were told yes it all was so we paid over $5000 and left the store thinking we would be getting a bed and our furniture in a week. Now we are sleeping on the floor don’t have half of what we paid for and they are saying it won’t even be delivered till next month. I don’t suggest going to them. This has been a phone tag nightmare with no real promise of anything. I regret ever going there. It’s been just disappointing all around.
Good luck. The furniture is great but the delivery company knew more about where our furniture was than the store did AFTER the store forgot to include one of the pieces. On hold with customer service at the store for over 10 minutes - multiple times. They didn’t know where the piece was, had to call the delivery company, etc. and we were told that they would call us back. No one called us back except the delivery company (AMR Movers - amazing) who went back and got the missing piece that the store forgot. Overall experience 2 stars = furniture is great, AMR Movers/Delivery saved the day but we are extremely disappointed with the service we received from the store after the sale was complete.

I purchased a table from Ashley's Furniture (Clearwater) and was hoping to receive the table before Thanksgiving, which I knew was a long shot. The store told me I couldn't have it delivered before Thanksgiving, but I could pick it up from the warehouse the following Tuesday. Once our Thanksgiving plans changed, I asked if the table could be delivered instead (I was told yes) and delivery was free as we decided to assemble the table ourselves. Fast forward to delivery day. I never get a call prior, but on the day the table was scheduled to be delivered, A DAY I TOOK OFF OF WORK, I receive a text confirming my delivery date for 4 days later. I called the store to let them know I was expecting my table today as I had scheduled. Apparently, the warehouse didn't get the table until today (although it had been there the Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving), and no one called me to notify me that the delivery date had changed. A rep mentions compensation for my inconvenience, which I thought was nice. Because my delivery was free (because we're assembling the table ourselves) the store manager claimed the only thing they could do in this situation was comp my delivery fee, which since it's free, there's nothing else they could do. I'm guessing good customer service is out the window. Even if they had offered $25 off the table it would have been a show of good customer service. I took an entire day off of work to wait around for a table. If someone had called to reschedule, that would have been appropriate. But no call, no compensation. Simply an apology and a "let's reschedule." This was my first time buying anything from Ashley's, and while our sales rep was fantastic, I can assure you this will be my last purchase from Ashley's. Buyers- either make sure the delivery date is confirmed (triple check) or just be prepared to take off work. Or have your delivery scheduled for a weekend. At this point, be prepared for whatever when it comes to this company. At least that's the lasting impression I'll have with this company.
Store was nice. Sales people were informative but hard to find when it was time to purchase. Had to chase people down. Delivery scheduled easily. Until day before delivery when I was texted and told it'll be another week. Impossible to call store directly. It's a call center overseas. And they are the opposite of helpful.

Unfortunately after what I thought was a pleasant shopping experience, once furniture was delivered it all went downhill. Furniture was damaged. After speaking to customer service I was given a case number and was told I would receive an email within 24 hours and damaged merchandise would be scheduled to be picked up and my account refunded. Well it’s been a few weeks and I’ve contacted my sales rep who told me to call the store manager. After being on hold for over 30 minutes, I am changing my review to poor quality and poor customer service. Hopefully this will be resolved but it’s a lot of time and energy I was not expecting.

I was looking for a bedroom set and mattress where she walked me through my options, was knowledgeable and patient. After deleting the store, she always answered my questions in regards to order status and because of her customer service, I recently went back to buy an accent chair and specifically asked for her. I highly recommend the Clearwater location and Dawn Shurley!
I have shopped at Ashley in Clearwater a few times and mostly because of the great customer service delivered by Dawn! She is great; very professional, patient and not too pushy. I needed a mattress and after a long search at multiple furniture/mattress stores I ended up at Ashley in Clearwater. I entered the store and was greeted by Theresa. She was very empathetic with my search and not at all 'pushy'. She knew the details of all the different mattresses and guided me towards a mattress that was what I was looking for and in my budget. I was looking for a TV stand and Dawn at the Clearwater store was fabulous! She left us alone to browse the store but checked in periodically to answer questions. She was not high pressure but professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I rate her a 20 out of 10, ask for her when you visit this location, she won’t disappoint!

We bought a new bedroom set, (king bed, 2 nightstands, desk, accent table, and 2 accent chairs). Molly was our sales rep, although she was newer to the store, she did a great job at helping us. Delivery was quick but the only complaint I had was (why I gave 4 stars) we got a time frame of when they were going to deliver the furniture (2:15 - 6:15pm) so I was expecting to go home during those times, they showed up at 10am and both my husband and I were at work. I work in a salon with clients so sometimes I’m unable to answer my phone right away and they called me about 6x in a row. So I was not happy about that and had to call my neighbor who thankfully is a stay at home mom and was home, to let them in and tell her where to put our furniture. We had another item that was delayed like a week and time frame for that was 8am - 12pm and they came at 7am. We normally are up between 7-7:30am so it kinda woke us up. So delivery times need to be better about times, or least a call ahead of time to make sure you are home or awake. Otherwise we love everything, nothing was damaged and looks fabulous.

Today was a special day. My mom and I came here to pick out a dinning table as a birthday gift/ housewarming gift. Omar Karzoun was the best sales agent. He brought different chairs to have us have the visual and pick the perfect ones. He gave us suggestions and feed back from what we had in mind and we came to the final decision and it was perfect. I would recommend Omar anytime and use him for further furniture purchase.

We have been looking for a couch for awhile. Omar made the whole process easy. He was not pushy like in other stores we went too. If we ever need any furniture we will be asking for Omar. He’s an asset to Ashley Furniture.

Terrible warranty service I purchased 3 High stool chairs one of them broke called for a technician to come out said he had to order a part 4 weeks later still no part never was ordered had to call back still waiting since September it is now January now fighting for a refund

With dread, after twenty years we found ourselves needing new furniture. The old furniture came from Ashley and we always loved it and got comments on it, even after twenty years. But dealing with most companies and sales staff in 2022, is less than ideal to say the least. Having a good experience at Ashley before, we started there. Not only did we find the right sofa, we found the best sofa, loveseat, chair, end tables and lamps. Even better, Ashley had three other sets at different price points that would of been one of the ones we would of chosen if it not been for the help of our Most Excellent sales associate Alexis Lopez!!! We lucked out with Alexis, not only did she give us enough info right off the bat to find what we thought we wanted, gave us the time and space to discus and try things out. Alexis then pointed us to the living room set we bought. Ashley has good furniture, we only sold the first set because we had downsized. Got good money for it too after twenty years and a few moves. If you're looking, go to the Ashley in Clearwater and ask for Alexis Lopez; not on Thursday or Friday because those are her days off. Working with Alexis was far from "She knows the store and products very, very well". It was like sitting down with a long time friend. Years of having the right furniture for you and your home from the most excellent Alexis knowing her Ashley furniture and how it will work in your home with your family. Just go and ask, it will be fun.
We were met at the front door by an outgoing gentleman named Sah. He introduced himself and invited us to look around. When we were ready he answered our questions, professionally suggested pieces and bedding that would be good for us. We bought a sofa and chair. We need more items and will definitely go back to Ashley and ask Sah to help us again.
Alexis our sales person at the Clearwater Hwy 19 location Tampa Fl was terrific. She located what we were looking for in the system since the exact style wasn’t on the floor. She gave us all discounts she could. We chatted for a bit on other matters which was nice to get to know one another. When we were checking out she went over every detail about the delivery and the Premium Protection Plan we bought which covers everything on the dining room table and chairs for 5 years. This was a lovely experience. Also we went to 2 other furniture stores and Ashley had the best deal.
I visited Ashley last week to be greated this nice and very professional young lady Roxy. She is very professional and friendly. I told her I was looking for a bedroom set and told her my budget. She took me around to see most of the bedroom set around my price and answered all my questions . I told her I was a bit in a hurry and she did not get offended, instead she was very efficient to get me out of the store as quickly as possible. I bought a beautiful bedroom set and it was delivered yesterday by 2 very nice and professional guys. Ashley store is so fortunate to have very professional staff. So far I am very happy with my purchase.

I made the mistake of buying most of my furniture from Ashley after my move. My couch showed up with varying degrees of stuffing which made the couch collapse within the first year. Customer service was horrible to work with. The store referred me to the warehouse the warehouse referred me to the vendor the vendor referred me back to the warehouse and nobody returned any of my calls. I will never buy furniture from Ashley again.

As a soon to be mom I’m quite upset that my complaint about my dresser never got resolved , honestly I expected more from this company than I did with rooms to go , anyways I was wrong , simply I was waiting for a response back to return the item and was told I would receive an email to have someone come scheduled to see my damage dresser so I can go through with the process of the return and till this day haven’t gotten a single email from them , if anything It’s upsetting when the company doesn’t keep up to its word and rather turn away from the issue and not respond back to your claims/issues , honestly should have checked rooms to go before having to place an order from them, oh and May I have forgotten that in order to even put a claim on my issue I had customer service and the store putting me back to back calls saying that it wasn’t their issue that they could reply to until I had to personally go to the store to talk to them and well still haven’t received that email ….. anywho if your looking to buy furniture I suggest check out Rooms To Go outlet :)
I should have listened to other reviewers. Got my sofa and corner chaise delivered only to be disappointed as the chaise is of the wrong side (ordered a left arm facing corner chaise and got a right arm facing one). I called the customer service, waited 30+ minutes to reach them, raised a request, emailed the photos and they gave me a 48 hour response window. After 2 days, I called in the store to know that they cannot do anything at this point and told me that the response time is 72 hours. Now it has been 5 days and nobody has responded or acknowledged my ticket. This is the first time that I am facing such a pathetic customer service from a reputed company. This will be my last purchase from Ashley and I will not recommend Ashley to anyone.

Overall horrible experience and I gave so much time for them to resolve the issue. I don't like to give bad reviews. I originally had placed an in-store order with this location back in May, where I put a cash deposit. I was told I was getting a good deal on everything. I finally took a look at the paperwork when I got home and compared the prices to what was online, and I was dumb founded. I went to go cancel the order and was told since I paid cash for my down payment, I would get a check within a couple of weeks. Here we are, over 2 months later, I still have not received my refund, and the original balance from the order is still on my Ashley Furniture Credit Card!!! I have spoken to them regarding this and was told simply "the balance will fall off after your next statement'. It has been 2 months. Shouldn't this have fallen off after the 1st month? Also, the woman I have been e-mailing regarding my refund, has stopped responding to me. I had a written agreement stating I would be issued a refund, and I have just been getting the run around. I shouldn't have to resort to escalating this AGAIN to Ashley Furniture's customer service. I am still waiting for my $380.00 check and for the balance to be removed/corrected on my credit card.
We entered the store on Sunday afternoon and we're in the store for 45 minutes. We were never approached by any sales personnel. Very disappointing as we were looking to buy a living room set. Wound up buying it from rooms to go.
I had good In store experience with my sales rep. Now I have to leave a 1 star for the delivery and the quality of the product deliver. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Received a damaged sofa! The delivery guys who came to deliver the products first time were rude, they damaged my door badly. Now, I would not buy anything from them again.
Had the worst experience with this company. I should have gone with Rooms to go . The customer service is horrible. There is no customer service. Lousy. Unprofessional. They don’t care about your experience as a customer.
Beware, they will deliver “new” furniture to you damaged and then say they will get a tech out. The tech will take 3 to 4 weeks to get to your home and then on top of it have to order parts for a woodbe new units and take another 4 weeks to come out to your home. Do not bother buying the warranty or buying anything from Ashley anymore. I’m glad we cancelled the rest of the order seeing that the way they treat their customers and how long it takes them to fix some small issues is outrageous. Glad we cancelled the couch and other parts of the order. Now we wait for the 400 dollar coffee table to be fixed
We went to Ashley close to the end of the day and they were wonderful! We were able to select furniture that will be quickly delivered.
Many wasted hours because we trusted Ashley to furnish part of our condo. We ordered 3-4 weeks in advance, because we travel back and forth to Florida, and we received a notice the night before, to be home between 2-6, and a call the day of delivery, that the truck was 15 minutes out. It was never going to arrive. Trying to call Ashley to learn what went wrong was a train wreck, and we only made progress when we hit the prompts pretending to be a new customer wanting to buy something. Eventually cancelled the order, wasting the shopping day and the delivery day. Also, be aware that when Ashley cancels part of your order they keep your money until the scheduled delivery date, which for us meant their keeping our cash for weeks. They did it on three items over two separate orders.

Both chairs wobbled upon assembly ottomans didn't. One chair had two razor cuts and stitching that was coming out. Called soon after delivery and we were on hold for 11 minutes and counting. That many problems with there product could be an issue. Update over 30 minutes gave up calling in morning. July 11 we are still waiting on them to contact us. I did notice if you leave a positive response they respond back. I will never buy an Ashley product again and we have spent a lot there. Update July 18. Still waiting for a response
Best price on the sectional we wanted of all the furniture stores in Pinellas County. Their sale room had some good buys.

Went to simply return an unopened item like instructed over the phone. While I got there the so called store “owner”, sitting there with no tag and refusing to identify. she looked like a regular receptionist, was trying to give me a hard time. I recorded the incident and she thought she can be violent and try to take my phone from my hands. Haha what a joke. Then , without any reasonable reason besides trying to save the commission for the store and to force a customer to keep an unused unopened item that was delivered way after time, she thought she can be aggressive and make me keep the item. Another joke was Omar Karzpun the sales rep that thought he can get involved in something that has nothing to do with him and be threatening me. Hahaha So this is a Franchise that Ashley Brand should be ashamed of and close or at least change the management. Then they started hat testing me by phone with desperation to go back to the store and meet “ James”. We’ll customers stay away from this store and if they are giving you hard time feel free to report them to the BBB and take legal actions
I ordered a power recliner couch that was delivered Tuesday and quit working Friday. I called them Friday afternoon but was put on eternal hold and Saturday morning and was put on eternal hold but stuck it out. They told me I went past 72 hours and have to wait till June 24th for a repair. The chair is stuck out a little bit rendering the chair useless unless you want to sit in this position or bump into the foot rest in the chair next to it. This is poor customer service. I have an order for a coffee table and end table that I need to cancel due to this bad customer service.

We had a great shopping experience with Dawn Shirley! She was patient and helpful. We received our couch Tuesday May 31st and by Friday June 4th the motor on the recliner is no longer working.. When I called I was told we had to wait for June 24th for a repair. This is unacceptable and they should bring a new one out to replace this one as soon our original delivery was scheduled. Unhappy customer here

Ashley has always been good to us we have bought 3 bedroom sets from this location and 2 more sets from other Ashley locations. Rachel helped us this go round and did a wonderful job at it. We also bought a dining room table from this location. Very happy with all our purchases can't wait for them to get here!

Every Ashley store should look like this, beautiful!. The sales staff is ncredible, everyone on the floor spoke and had a smile. Most furniture stores you feel overwhelmed by the sales staff, this was not the case, Real salespeople, who asked me a simple question"what do you need" came in for 1 thing walked out with several pieces. READ THE BAD REVIEWS PEOPLE AND BUYER BEWARE!!!! They are fine if your furniture comes as it should be but, when something is not right. Good luck trying to get a resolution. I got a bed set delivered for my son and it came damaged. I tried to call customer support on the receipt and I was #282 so there must be a ton of complaints. So I got them on text and sent pictures to the rep and he said he escalated and I would be receiving a phone call in 48 hours. Based on the reviews which I should have read first, I read this would not happen. Well 48 hours later it did not happen. So, I got them on chat today and they said a tech would come out to look at damages May 19 which is almost a full month! SO I said I want my money back. Rep said to contact the store. I called the store and I was #305 in line. They must have a ton of complaints with so many calls in que. So, if something happens, I have no confidence this place will make it right. I will update the review once I bug them enough or file an immediate lawsuit.
BUYER BEWARE !!- if you purchase from Ashley make 100% sure what you buy is not defective or has a design issue IMMEDIATELY. Then maybe Ashley will help you.- I purchased a chaise lounge and had this delivered a few days before I left for a very long Holiday trip- I sat in in and looked it over; however, I did not recline it before I left- When I returned from vacation, I really did not use it as I got it for guest- During the Olympics my Sister sat in in with her dog and reclined it.. HER DOG FELL in the huge space/crack- I went to Ashley and they opened a case as if they cared about this- The first tech said there was no defect (what??) a medium dog or small child can fit in there- Ashley sent someone else who did say it was a defect and could not be fixed; however, he did not know if Ashley would do anything- He was right, Ashley did nothing, after stringing me along for a couple months they said no it was past the return dateJust beware :(

Ashley Furniture online orders has been the most horrible experience! Dresser I ordered had a mark on it, bed came with missing parts and customer service was horrible to deal with. After being on hold for over an hour I was able to request the missing parts of which they only shipped one of the 3 pieces I had requested. The nightstand I ordered has been on back order 8 mos. when I called to check the status i was told someone had marked the order cancelled. They transferred me to a supervisor that hung on me after picking up the call. This is ridiculous and i have spent hours dealing with their lack of customer service! Will never order furniture from Ashley again!!!

We had such a positive experience shopping for a new bedroom set at Ashley Furniture in Clearwater. When we first entered the store, we were greeted by a personable young man who offered his help. When we said we were just looking, he said he’d check with us in a bit. We wandered all over and never felt we were being watched or followed, yet when we had some questions, he appeared. We left with information, but felt we needed to comparison shop more. Today we went to another store and found a set that we liked for less money but less quality. We decided to return to Ashley and see what our salesman could do for us, since we liked the set there better! Our sales person, Shaun Grow, was able to find a way to earn our business. We ended up buying our bedroom set, mattress, and adjustable platform from him as well as a bar cabinet. If you’re in the market for any furnishings, please ask for Shaun by name.

FYI! Don’t buy anything from Ashley Furniture! I purchased a new dining room set from them November 26th. It’s completely paid for. I was originally told, after I purchased it that it would be delivered the first week of January. Every month, I contact them and ask when it will be delivered. Each month, I’m told the next month. Now I’m told sometime in April. I’ve asked for the floor model and they won’t give it to me. My chairs are here and they want to deliver them. What good are the chairs will out a table. I know this supply backup everyone’s excuse but this is getting ridiculous. I’ve tried to get a refund and purchase another set somewhere else but then I’m told it would take a few months. All I want is my merchandise. After all they’ve had their money since November. 😡😡😡😡

Zero pressure sales and extremely knowledgeable about the various pieces of furniture we were looking to purchase. The entire process from the minute we walked in the door to installation of what we purchased was first class service. You can tell the employees at the Clearwater location really love their jobs and enjoy working together, especially Keith. I also wanted to mention my husband and I shopped several other furniture places (Havertys and Lazy Boy to be specific) before deciding on Ashley. We had very poor tastes in our mouths after shopping these other places. The treatment of us as potential customers at Ashley vs the two mentioned above was night and day. We bought 3 bedroom sets from Ashley Furniture Clearwater in the beginning of January 2021, it took 2 months for the sets to come in. We had them delivered and assembled by Ashley employees. The sets that came in were completely damaged and unusable. One of the beds was shipped with the wrong slats and the other two sets, the drawers for different parts of the bed sets were unoppenable. Also the sets were already scratched or pieces were broken. (It took them 4 hours to assemble the beds because all the dresser and night stands were assembled)We automatically told the men about the problems when we inspected everything. They said they couldn't do anything and their line to the dispatch was closed because it was a Sunday and already after business hours. They took a pictures of the damage and sent an electronic message to the company. We were told someone would call us on Monday to figure out a solution. On Monday I did not wait for someone to contact but tried to contact customer service. I was on hold 5 times from hour to an hour and a half before they would disconnect me. I called on Tuesday and was able to reach someone finally, I told them the situation and that I wanted to return everything because everything was damaged in some sort of way. They told me I needed a technician to come out and confirm that the sets were damaged in order to get a refund. The earliest they could get a technician in was 3 weeks later. The technician comes and confirms that all the sets are damaged and unusable. He put in his report that we should be able to get our refund back in full due to the damage. It took six months to obtain a refund. I spent countless hours each day on hold and getting a run around in who could resolve the situation. Corporate would send me to the store and store would send me back to calling corporate. They never called back in any inquisition and even tried to call the police on me because I was a frustrated customer trying to receive a refund. Please be aware as everyone is interested in taking your money but not fixing the problem at hand and giving you a big brush off.
Went there 5 min. before closing time but they didn't mind they told us to come in take our time an look around told them we were only looking we could come back later but the super friendly staff didn't mind at all will definitely go back again excellent friendly staff
Roxy was super knowledgeable and friendly. She really knows her stuff when it comes to furniture, mattresses and pillows. We told her what we were looking for and she found it for us quickly. Great experience.

Called the store to add another piece to a sectional, I hate the billing system, why the store can't just take your credit card # is crazy, it took 6x of them sending an email, you have 15 minutes to accept, would not take my card and then finally on the 6th time it worked, STUPID system, your goal should be to sell product, waste of customer time.
Just went in to check out what the dressers looked like and found that they didn't have the one that I was looking for in stock or should I say so I could see what it looked like. However, Shaun explained to me about the order process and it is quicker than shipping to you home and you put it together. For $70.00 they will put the furniture together and deliver to our home. Works for me. It was a great process and Shaun was wonderful. Would shop here again if I need anything.

Starting out we didn't really know exactly what we wanted but once we left, We bought a house full of things, ( nightstands, dresser, chest of drawers, and a couch) she was able to show us a better price from online, so that always helps. Buyer BEWARE! Furniture delivered - super nice individuals but struggled with bottom drawer of one of my dressers. Bottom two drawers do not align properly. Tried to call 800 number and spent an hour and a half on hold. Tried texting - no response. Went to store and was told too bad - you ordered online. Told to Try the 800 # again. So two dressers. One broke. No one cares!!

if I could go back in time to March 29th I would've saved myself months if time wasted, money everything for a huge chain of stores to have zero accountability and zero customer service, it's an actual crime. I won't write my entire story out here, I will say after almost 31 weeks I received my furniture, one piece was the wrong color. the delivery guy said don't worry, they'll call you in 10 mins. 10 mins went by, an hour, 2, a whole day, the 2 days. Monday I call the woman who sold me my furniture, she's literally the only one who's been accountable in even the slightest way, she puts in a ticket for me to get correct chair. 5 weeks goes by, I get the email I pick the time for delivery they call me the night before tell me my delivery window is the next day between 2pm and 6pm. I prepare for delivery, I wait and I follow along online at the track my delivery I shows with spot you are and where they currently are. at 530 they update eta to 6 to 7 I feel frustrated but wait some more. at 630 it changes to 630 to 730, then 7 to 8, 730 to 830, 8 to 9, 830 to 930. I finally call the delivery team number at 9 saying it says you're at spot 14 I'm spot 15 the guy says oh what? I'm not at work anymore, they were supposed to call you, that chair is on backorder. so I wasted my entire day waiting for an item that was never even being delivered. disrespectful, rude garbage customer service. trust me save your time and money shop anywhere else.

It was a very nice experience to shop for our Livingroom set. The girl that help us was very helpful nice and very pleasant to deal with. She answer all our questions and gave us all the information we needed in order to make our the decision. I do think she should be rewarded extra reward for her curtesy she did more then what is called for as her duty.

We went to Ashley store in Clearwater to check some furniture that we had seen on JCPenney.com. I have a huge discount with JCP. Omar greeted us at door & by the time we left we had purchased the furniture we needed with him. He was such a pleasant & personal young man. He left us alone to shop but was always there when we had questions. Don't know how he did it but when I would say a question to my husband, boom Omar was there. Due to his professional skills I would highly recommend your store to anyone.
My wife and I went in to look for a couch set no Brandon was a huge help. We were very happy. We are glad we aren’t in a rush to receive the order because there is a few month wait to receive them, but we kinda expect that around the holidays.

This is by far the WORST store along with its managers. We got sent the wrong mattress size that no one wants to take responsibility for it. The store blames it on the warehouse, corporate blames it on the store. No one knows what their role is. Between the managers and corporate it’s a circus. We have been without a mattress for 7 days now. With absolutely zero communication from Ashley Corporate or the managers at the store. If you are looking for competent costumer service I would recommend going anywhere else. The managers sit and stare at you and repeat the same words over and over “it’s not our problem call corporate”. Not sure where they got training but this is no way to handle a problem that was not created by the buying client.

UPDATE: Had a problem with one of my pieces. It’s nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone. When you do, Corporate points you to the Store Manager and they point you back to Corporate. This confusing, irritating run-around seems to be part of their business model. No accountability, worst customer service ever. It’s really time-consuming and frustrating. I’ll never shop there again. If I could give it less than one star I would. Though the selection was good and I did buy a few pieces, the Furniture Protection Plan ($200) was added to my bill without my consent. The signing of the bill was a hurried process where I never got a chance to see the line item detail. Then when I got the print out and saw that $200, I asked for it to be removed. They would not. Said they had to send it to Corporate and a new receipt would be emailed to me. It never was. I contacted Corporate and was told there had never been a request from this local store. It was shady and “slick” and I would not recommend buying there unfortunately.
We just bought a property here in Clearwater and I had a short time to furnish the place. I went in needing everything. I met Kieara at the front desk. She was quick and very knowledgeable. She made sure what was available and what had to be ordered. Kieara was very patient and thorough. This was a great experience for me and took a load off my shoulders having Kieara’s help and service!!

It truly is a shame that I need to leave this review, as I have given Ashley Furniture numerous chances to make this right. My girlfriend and I purchased over $7,500 in furniture from Ashley for our new home (including a living room set, dining set, bed set and a mattress) and were not happy with the $3,000+ Beautyrest Black X-Class Medium mattress we purchased. We were initially told that we had 90 days to test our new mattress, which could be exchanged for any other mattress. It wasn’t until after they had me sign up for the credit card and complete the transaction that the salesperson (Alexis) told us that we could only exchange our new mattress for equal or greater value. This is something she should’ve told us before the fact. We even purchased the mattress protector and everything else she said we needed in order to make the exchange if we didn’t like our mattress – but she left out the important part… it could only be exchanged for greater value. We spoke to multiple Ashley representatives over the phone (as well as a representative from the Clearwater, FL location I purchased from) and they all agreed that I could exchange our mattress for any other mattress or receive a full refund, which was my initial understanding. They said this was noted on my account and we had nothing to worry about (they also reassured us that our conversations were on a recorded line). When we went to the store (around day #85 after having received the mattress) they told us we either needed to buy a more expensive one, or we would be stuck with the one we weren’t getting good sleep on. I was waking up in pain every day on this mattress, so was left with no choice. We were forced into buying a more expensive mattress, when there was a $1,500 mattress we really liked. At $3,000+ the options were limited and we didn’t want a hybrid or memory foam mattress... so there were no choices. We even asked if we could get the $1,500 mattress with the adjustable frame, but they told us our credit only applied to the mattress itself (the adjustable frame was another option Ashley customer support mentioned over the phone). I even mentioned I’d be happy to take a gift card for the difference… but they said if I bought anything cheaper, there would be no reimbursement and I’d essentially be throwing money away as my credit card would still have the $3K balance. We ended up buying the more expensive mattress, which we still aren’t happy with. We just wanted Ashley Furniture to do the right thing for two loyal customers who purchased ALL their furniture from them. We were lied to and it hurt us financially. The salesperson also promised $300 in gift cards for the purchase, but they only sent $200 and are saying that $300 was never on the table. I’ve tried to reach out to corporate and talk to management, but nobody cares about us – they are content knowing they already received our money. We are now stuck sleeping on an expensive mattress we don’t like. I am losing sleep because we don’t like the new mattress and we were lied to over and over again through this process. If Ashley doesn’t make this right, we will never purchase from them again. They will lie to you if that’s what it takes to make the sale. We could’ve bought our mattress from anywhere else and wouldn’t be dealing with this issue.

We had a wonderful experience at this store. While most stores lack inventory in stock, Ashley manufacturers its own furniture and most is available immediately. The best part of shopping here was our salesperson named Kieara. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. Most of all, she listened to what we wanted and helped us find things she knew we’d like.

Bought a couch in August at the store, the sales rep was nice and overall the experience was fine. The problem is, when the furniture was delivered it they would not bring it inside and left it in the garage and told us the delivery fee would be waived. I called to verify and a claim was started. There has been no progress on this after weeks of waiting. In addition within 30 days of receiving the couch it broke. I called again to file a warranty claim to repair it and have not heard anything from them about it since and it has been over 2 weeks since I filed the claim. Getting ahold of anyone is a feat in itself and I end up waiting on hold for 30+ minutes each time before someone answers. Not only the wait time, but I am constantly being "disconnected" with no call backs.

Extremely pleased with my experience at Ashley’s. Had the pleasure of working with Kieara, God bless her! She had such patience and compassion to my frustrations in my lengthy and overwhelming search for the “perfect mattress” suitable to my medical needs. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about making sure I got the right mattress specific to what I need. I can’t thank her enough. It makes such a huge difference in my day to day that I am able to sleep through the night and comfortably. Kieara had given me her card and said if I had any questions or concerns to give her a call. After receiving my mattress set I gave her a call in hopes she was at work so I could come in and look at bedroom sets to complete my bedroom and she was not working that day. Our schedules conflicted, she then invited me to go to the store and met me there on her day off. Her compassion to making sure I am satisfied goes above and beyond what my expectations of a sales person should be, she not only made my experience personal when it came to decorating but made it super fun, she made me feel like family along with other staff working, they made the environment an overall great experience. Definitely keeping this young ladies card and will be returning to this store in the near future.

My negative experience with the store. I do not recommend it. On July 24, 2021, I bought an ottoman. They promised to lead in 10 weeks. Nobody called or wrote this time. After 11 weeks, I called them myself. It turned out that she didn’t come and they didn’t ask me for a new order. They said to wait another 10 weeks. I refused, demanded a refund. On August 24, I was given the order cancellation number 04105270, told to wait 2 weeks for a refund. Three weeks later, having received nothing, I called again. They apologized to me and said that the manager did not complete the cancellation. On September 10th I was given a new cancellation number 810995030 and told to wait for 2 weeks. Almost a week has passed, and there is still no money.
Literally WORSE customer experience! Delivery people came into my home angrily after having to carry the furniture up and damaged my ceilings. I go into Ashley Furniture to speak to the manager and get absolutely no help- all she can do is route me to a phone number to have me on hold for over a hour from corporate. Because apparently only corporate can help. Does not want to help you personally. They don’t care about your furniture home needs. Only care about rushing through a sale. Do NOT let them come into your home to ruin your home. Oh and to top it off the delivery people will make you sign a form you do not understand in another language.

The sales people try to rip you off every step of the way by adding shipping and extra charges where they are not supposed to. i tried to buy a Picture to go over the $3700 sectional i just bought and he added $68 shipping to it when it was supposed to be ship to my home and no shipping cost due. Then he couldn't refund me same day, wanted me to drive all the way back to the store the next day to get my refund. And then another sales person did the same thing on the coffee table i ordered so that's how i know they are trained to do that hoping you won't catch it and pay the extra charges. i got so mad i canceled the order on the picture and made them rering up the the coffee table only to find out they added extra charges again . what a bad business Ashley runs !!!
Do not go to this Ashley’s. I would recommend going to any other Ashley furniture in the area. Customer service at the store specifically was horrible. There were differences in online prices vs store prices and discounts, management was extremely rude trying to explain differences and very unprofessional while doing so. Went to buy a new mattress and another Ashley’s in the area and was given the full experience of trying beds, product explanations, etc - none of this happened in my experience with this Ashley’s. It felt like they did not want us to even be in the store.
From the moment we walked through the door Kieara was nothing short of Amazing! Her personality was beautiful she made me feel comfortable and answered as many questions as I had! She did everything possible to make sure I had the best deal possible, & I can’t forget about her manager Jeanette who made the final decision! Thank you both very much you have made buying furniture for our first home a true joy!

Customer service and “corporate” are literally useless. My wife and I ordered a desk. The delivery team delivered the wrong desk. We called to try and get it fixed, should be easy right? Take the wrong desk and bring us the one we paid for? Nope. It has been THREE MONTHS of back and forth with 100 different customer service reps who all “can’t do anything.” The store we bought it from isn’t taking responsibility. Overall, very frustrating experience. If you buy from them just keep your fingers crossed it goes smoothly or else you will have a migraine from trying to work with them to correct something. You also may not ever get your money back.
I made a phone order directly with the store because I couldn’t get my order processed online and Kim was awesome and so helpful and friendly.
Kieara was AMAZING! I told her exactly what I wanted, she showed me similar items on the floor that matched what I was looking for, and helped placed the order for me to have them delivered as soon as possible. She was a real sweetheart! She wasn't pushy and cared about making sure I got exactly what I wanted. I appreciate her authentic customer service. I could tell she wasn't in it just to make a sale. Stay away from Ashley Furniture. They delivered furniture that had wear on it. I found 7 different kind of hair on one of the "new," recliners I paid for. I have threatened them with a complaint to the Attorney General, Consumer Affairs Division.

I wish I didn’t have to leave this review but I feel obligated to share my experience. I have bought a lot of furniture from them this year and it has mostly been smooth sailing, but one of the items that was delivered to me was the wrong item off the truck. Ashley’s handling to get this item corrected has been horrendous. It started by the delivery guy realizing he had the wrong desk, leaving my home, and never retuning with instructions on what we needed to do next. So 2 weeks later I called the Ashley Corporate number and they had no clue there was a problem, so we created a case. Two more weeks went by without any communication from them, and upon calling I was told I needed to go to the store I bought it from, that corporate couldn’t help me. Just to be told by the in-store customer service representative that she can’t do anything and I would need to call corporate. Poor coordination on their end that was sending me in circles. It has now been 2 months since the incorrect desk was delivered to my home and I still do not have an update or any form of communication from Ashley about correcting the situation. I am asking for a full refund. Overall I am extremely disappointed with the customer service line and would consider it a risk to buy from Ashley because if anything goes wrong with your item you will not get it fixed in a reasonable time frame, if at all. The photos show 2 desk pieces (that should form an L shaped desk) but are not able to be put together because the pieces are wrong. So we have one piece of desk just laying on the floor.
I've been shopping at Ashley for years on and off whenever I need something specific. I did have a problem with a leather bonded sofa years ago. It started peeling off, on the backs of each section of the sofa and then more and more. I called Ashley and registered my complaint, and wanted some pictures of all the places where the bonded leather was missing. Ashley gave me a full credit for the sofa and loveseat to buy any furniture in the store! I was so relieved to get rid of that eyesore and pick out something new and real leather this time! Now I'm shopping in the Clearwater store with a wonderful salesperson. I have been treated respectfully and with courtesy. The delivery people are also friendly and helpful!
We have been all over the area to every store and Ashley’s has the best quality and selection! The sales associate helping us was Omar and he was fantastic! He had great energy, he was very helpful and he made us feel valued! We had to furnish a few rooms in our new house so and he spent a fair amount of time with us. He was always very patient when we were trying to make decisions. He answered our questions and he gave us suggestions! He was great! We’ll be back to Ashley’s in the future for sure :)
Mattress shopping can be tedious and expensive until you meet a store sales rep like Alexis Lopez at Ashley Home Furniture near Sunset point Road, Clearwater. She does everything right starting by being a good listener. She talks to you like she's your sibling watching as you try out selected mattresses. Alexis helps you select the pillow that will align your head properly. She not only has great product knowledge but she explains why certain features will benefit you so you get a good night's sleep. I visited all the area bedding stores and Alexis is the only one who went above and beyond to ensure the customer makes a purchase where you'll be satisfied for years to come.Delivery was a disaster! I paid for Premium delivery where the bed is delivered and set up. Drivers just dropped off the boxes and declined to set up. They said they had no notes or orders to set up. I finally, tediously cut through the boxes and plastic and set it up myself. I immediately called and could not connect so I drove to the store to askwhat happened. I got no help from a manager. He kept stating no refunds. I returned later that week and received nearly $100 refund for failure to set up. There's a big disconnect between sales and distribution which diminishes the good feeling I had as a buyer. When I returned to ask for my refund there was a line at the counter with other disgruntled shoppers. Not a great impression. Lessons learned. I was very disappointed that the manager on duty didn't engage more and try to understand or resolve my delivery issue rather than ignoring it with a cavalier attitude. He was very defensive. My sales rep was the only shining part of this purchase. She was great!
On August 8,2021 we met Theresa for several pieces for our new home. We had a budget but she she didn't know.. Showed us her inventory so we could experience her store for the first time. She helped us to make chores we would be overjoyed with but stay on budget. Theresa took her time and she treated us like VIP. We will go back and purchase with Theresa in the future. I have never had a Sales Representative with so much compassion

Clifford is the best salesman I've encountered to date. Professional and straight forward. He is very knowledgeable about all products in the store but even more with the beds offered. Bought a couch here on a Monday. Was told the couch was in stock, they physically had it, and it could be delivered Wednesday. Had issues purchasing Monday ended up purchasing Tuesday. No big deal. They told us delivery Thursday. They have a 3 day window. Was called Wednesday and told the couch was not at the warehouse, but was arriving today, not what we were told at purchase, and delivery had to be Saturday. Thursday delivery for Saturday was cancelled and it was scheduled for the following Monday. Called to find out what happened and said couch didn’t arrive but was there and they could deliver Sunday. Got called Friday and told couch was still not there and that the delivery was now next Wednesday. Was assured the couch was now at the warehouse. Email confirmation came Saturday to confirm Wednesday delivery. Now Sunday and voicemail cancellation. Called and was told couch is still not at warehouse but should be arriving. For a couch were showed was in stock and would be delivered same week. Never would have purchased this couch. Avoid the headaches. Get your furniture elsewhere. Thoroughly not impressed with service.

Came in to finish some last-minute furniture shopping for a new house. One thing we did notice unlike other times we weren't immediately bombarded by a sales person which we actually really really appreciated. It gave us time to look around and see what we actually liked, this location was actually pretty busy. I mean we did go on a Saturday so what do you expect, but it was all covid friendly everyone had masks on so that was good. When we were ready to make our purchase I was able to find KEITH! First off right when he turned around he had the best smile ever and I could tell we were really going to like working with him. Even though my wife and I already knew exactly what we wanted he was still so personable and actually sat down with us just to get some more information. He was completely focused on us wasn't worried about anyone else in the store at the time. It was actually pretty funny because I think we finished our transaction within 15 minutes but him and my wife were still talking I think they might have became friends! LOL That's actually why I'm writing this because it was a great experience to actually go into somewhere not be bombarded at the beginning like I stated. But then actually end up connecting with a salesperson and making a friend. Keith was extremely knowledgeable and was able to give us suggestions and help us out with our delivery date. We actually didn't know that you can change your delivery date if need be, if anything comes up especially since we're building a house things do change from time to time. But he was able to let us know not to worry about that if we have any questions or concerns we can call him at any time. So not only is this our favorite furniture store in the Clearwater area but they also have the best customer service and we definitely will come back again and again as we already do. But if you are near this location definitely come in and see Keith if you can and if you can't I'm sure anyone else there can help you and you'll have the same experience! I love Ashley Furniture so for me the experience is more about the customer service. My first rep seemed annoyed by my questions, had a condescending attitude, and was constantly running off to do something else. Fortunately he passed me off to the BEST service rep. Honestly I was so fed up with the first guy I was going to just leave and not buy anything so the timing was perfect. Keith was amazing. Very patient and thorough, wanted to make sure I had all the information and discounts I needed. I felt he was really honest with me and also very personable and respectful. I left with a couple of purchases and thrilled with his service.
As I took in the living room settings decorated store, with practically no customers, no sales associate greeted me. There were not many people in the huge store that including staff. I did noticed two employees talking, not one greeted or approached me and I had to ask them for assistance. When you need help you can't get it and when you want to browse first you're hounded and followed around the store. Because of the jammed to the hilt inventory, it was cluttered and not arrayed visually, tastefully and inviting that distorted your view and desire to shop for anything in particular. In other words nothing "jumped out at me".

At this point in in the sale I cant review the product or delivery quality. I can say when visiting the Clearwater store that Nancy Collins was very helpful and guided me to feel confident about the product I purchased. The only problem ive had is dealing with communication through email and a very poorly designed website. I feel very uncertain about the delivery process.

Product delivered has multiple issues with it. Purchased warranty, Ashley Homestore will not honor it. $2500 couch and the console doesn't close, USB ports is completely detached, leather is separating...and many more issues.
My dad and I went in and were given the perfect ratio of independence to guidance. Nancy was very helpful in our process of buying furniture for our new home. Ashley’s shipping procedure is easy and efficient as well. Thank you!

Worst customer service Ive experienced . they will lie to you to get you to give them your money and then never tell you the item you paid for is no longer available . after over 45 min on the phone I am told I'll get a call back ( that was a week ago) . they refuse to give my money back for the items either, I keep hearing that it needs to be processed and I'll get a call when that is done ? Ive called customer service they try the store and the storw is always "busy" and,cant be reached ? This company has no integrity
Purchased a couch on May 16th and was informed by Kierra that delivery would take 3-4 weeks max. We are now approaching 8+ weeks and i still have not received 1 call or email with an update or delivery time. I have attempted to call the store for an update, only to be tossed into an endless loop of automated message and call center purgatory. Now I have the call center representative informing me that they cannot locate my order # and that i need to call the store number... which is the same number... that loops back into her at the call center. Beyond believable.
We are so excited for our new bedroom set and couch! This was an amazing experience at Ashley, everyone was so nice and helpful. Kody greeted us and showed us around. Clifford answered all of our questions and led us to some amazing furniture. So thankful for this easy, fulfilling experience.

The Sales associate I spoke to in June was very helpful, and even though it took almost 4 hours, I was able to get what I wanted. What they don't tell you,though, is delivery dates are tentative. I was supposed to have my new bedroom set by this coming Moday. Saturday, I get a text saying call a number, and get your stuff sooner. But, I come to find out that distribution only has one piece, and everything else will not be delivered until August. So, now I have no furniture, having given away my old set, and will be camping out in a bare room for a Month.
Ordered a couch and accent chairs in May. Was told by the saleswoman delivery would be “at most” three weeks for all three (June 12th). It is now July and they are saying the chairs haven’t even made it to the warehouse. Expected delivery is now August 15th (delivery estimate has been pushed back twice without notice). They clearly didn’t have the item in stock when they sold it to me and yet lied and said they did. Despite ordering in store, our phone number is somehow not connected to the order so we have to go through a lengthy automated phone system to get delivery updates just to be constantly disappointed by another delay. Avoid. Apparently they are just looking for sales, follow up customer service is non-existent.

I ordered a couch in March was told 12wks for delivery because of covid... No problem. Delivery date comes and they literally break the couch bringing in my front door. Horrible quality is like a Big Lots couch! 3wks later Tech comes out inspects the couch orders new complete sleeper. I receive notification that the repair will be done 6/30. Tech showed up, with no new sleeper, thinking he is here to do initial inspection. Now I have to wait again for another tech to come with the actual ordered part to repair. I have rescheduled family visiting x2 because of this!
I walked into Ashley today knowing exactly what I wanted. I asked for the previous sales rep that helped me, but he was no longer at this store. The gentleman immediately put me in touch with a woman named Kieara. Kierra appeared to be on the younger side but she was extremely knowledgeable and friendly! It only took her a couple minutes to determine the product(s) were in stock and to arrange for a delivery two days from now! I was very pleased with the service.
Keith was awesome!! He came in on his day off to make sure we got the best service possible. The process was easy and fun. That said, it’s been 2 months and we are STILL waiting on the furniture. The warehouse has changed delivery dates 4 times without telling us - no call, no show after we rearranged our workday to meet the delivery team. This isn’t the local stores fault at all, but if you do not have any merchandise to sell then you probably should not be open.

I went to a bunch of different places in search of couch. Simply put, Ashley Home Store was by the far the best experience I had. Not only did they have a great selection and decent prices but the customer service was impeccable. Alexis Lopez was the associate that helped me out and she was fabulous. She listened to exactly what I was looking for and my budget and helped me find the perfect match. I also was able to score a nice mattress at the same time which Alexis found for me. I recommend this store to anyone in the market. Ask for Alexis. She rules.
Even 1 star is too much for them … dealing with a bunch of liars … they sell items these days that they don’t have in stock and then the lying process starts, starting with sales associates to delivery people ending with customers care … all are bunch of liars… will never deal with them again or recommend them to anybody

Very long post coming. Please share this... Our furniture was scheduled to be delivered on Wednesday between 1245pm-445pm. It was my first day off in quite a while but I made sure I was home and patiently waited. Till 530pm. No calls no text nothing....so I called the dispatch office. Then I got in touch with the delivery driver who told me some time around 630pm. So at this point they are several hrs late, but its ok, I'm getting my new furniture. They are supposed to assemble a table and my TV console table, deliver a sofa and love seat. It took 1 1/2 hrs to assemble a table it could have taken me 30 minutes. Then when we mentioned the fireplace tv console table, they actually said NO. They are here for delivery and won't put it together. At this point I call dispatch. They tell me they will call the driver and speak with them. Instead the driver hands me the phone and a man tells me that they won't be assembling it, I need to wait till tomorrow between 1-5pm. There will be a technician to assemble it. At this point they get my sofa and love seat inside, the ottoman is completely wrong, they take it back. I go to check my furniture, make sure no dings or anything.....pull open the sofa sleeper and wouldn't you know it...its broken. Completely. The driver takes off and leaves in his truck as fast as he can. I sit on the phone with Ashley Furniture for several hrs. At this point to try and get help. They left trash in my yard as well as the boxes from the delivery that they should have taken with them. I am told someone, will be at my house Thursday (the next day) to exchange the couch and assemble the TV console table. So I go home after work, and sit and wait. No call no text no nothing. I call Ashley at 345p.....to sit on hold for almost 2 hrs. To get disconnected when she was transferring me. I figured they had all my info. Id get a call back. I was very wrong. I called the driver. He says..." we will be there around 7pm. " the window was for 1-5pm. At this point I have the dispatch on my phone and Ashley customer service on Joe's phone. NO ONE has anything to say other than we are sorry. The driver no kidding shows up at 745pm, In a white cargo van, with my couch JAMMED into the back Boxes are covering it, trash etc, no uniform no nothing.... he comes inside looks at the TV console and says "NO" 20 minutes later he comes back inside and he is ready to bring in the new couch but WON'T take the broken couch.... are you kidding me? I can't fit 2 couches in my living room!!! They didn't even touch my TV console. I get back on the phone again, tell them that it's almost 9pm. They need to leave and someone needs to fix this Friday. Which is today. NO CALL, NO TEXT NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL. I've left ALOT out for the sake of a very long winded post. I have asked Ashley for help and they have done NOTHING. I just want someone to pay attention to me and help..... I guess that's too much right now. My fiancé and I bought a king Serta icomfort hybrid mattress and we absolutely love it. Dawn was amazing with the whole experience and in picking out a good fit for us. We got a $300 reward card which we were waiting for in an email and never received it. Gave dawn a text and she got it done for us! Amazing service

I ordered a tv stand on 4/18/21. I was told it was on back order. I was fine with that. On 6/1/21 I called to find out the status. Customer service could only say I had to go to the store as there was an issue with the payment. Mind you not one person called to let me know this. When I went to the store it turned out the salesperson did not put in the terms for financing. I could have had my item weeks ago. Once corrected I had the item scheduled for delivery 6/12/21. The delivery team damaged the item. They took the stand back. I made a claim at 1130 am to have the item redelivered next day. I never received a call back. I called at 430 only to be told the team that works on this is off on the weekends. I was not told this originally. This is after I was disconnected once. They now have to exchange the item not just deliver an undamaged one. I now have to wait even longer for my item that has been in stock. There is no manager to talk to either as requested. If this item didn’t match something else I already have I would cancel the whole thing.
This will be the first BBB complaint I’ve ever filed. If you value customer service, timeliness and honesty, DO NOT buy from here.
On April 17, 2021, My husband and I went to the Ashley Homestore at the following address: 24244 US Highway 19 N Clearwater, FL 33763 United States The experience in the showroom was ok but then once we got home, my husband realized that our Sales Rep, Nancy Collins had added the GBS 5 Year Protection Plan to our order without our permission. This was an extra $319.99. We questioned her about it a few days later and she made it seem like it was a fantastic buy so we decidedto just keep it on. We then got our delivery and the delivery men were friendly enough. But then once they asked me if it all looked ok, I told them I would just FaceTime my husband really quickly so he could see if it looked ok to him. Right after I said that, the delivery guy got all aggressive and told me he had other deliveries to do (but per the tracking info, I had thought I was the last house...). Anyway, he was so in my face about it that I just told him he could go as my husband wasn't answering. Apparently that was my mistake because once they leave, their policy is that it's yours. But if you refuse an item before they can leave, then they have to take it back and you don't have to go through the whole, hard return cycle. We were not informed of this policy when we bought the furniture. My husband came home that night and we decided the coffee table was too big for the space. They didn’t have it on display in the showroom at the time we purchased it so we didn’t realize how big it was. We tried to return it and had trouble until just a few days ago when they finally came and picked it up. We called the local store and corporate several times and went to the store several times but keep being referred to other people and told we have to wait for this or that. I have never seen a return take so long and am definitely disappointed in the lack of customer care. Additionally, our dog peed on the couch so I called the protection plan company. I found out that they don't handle the full cushion if the pee has soaked through and there is no more visible stain. I went to the Ashley Furniture store to even have them help me with this, and although they were nice, they couldn't help me and were just as surprised as I was that the insurance company wouldn't help me out. Plus, it took 2 weeks for them to offer to come out. We told them not to as we just want our money back on this Protection Plan. Neither the Ashley Furniture local store or corporate says they can grant that so we had to tell our credit card company that it was a fraudulent item as the Sales Rep put it on the order without even asking us, let alone getting our agreement. And as a note, when I went to the store and the manager and I confronted her on that, she acted like we HAD agreed to it, which is just a lie, shady, crooked and I assume a way to get a bit more of a commission. Since they finally picked up the table a few days ago, I went to the store today to get our money put back onto the card. As a note, that’s the only way you can get your money back after so many other hassles, you then have to go into the store with the same card. If you don’t, you don’t get your money back. As a note, they didn’t make any attempt to call us in to return the money. I was given a partial refund today and they told me it was because they already returned the $319.99 (from the protection plan) as the bank recalled it. I pointed out that was for the protection plan, not for the table. So we were supposed to get $509.99 back for the table but were only given $255.70. I talked to the manager even but they had no customer service and just insisted on the fact that they already paid us back $319.99 and that they didn’t approve the protection plan refund and that we accepted it since we signed the receipt (my husband didn’t read the fine print, unfortunately). So therefore we were even to them. This isn’t true. We are still out $319.99 plus whatever tax there is. This is criminal and corrupt on their part. We still have half a house to furnish, but, needless to say, with this horrible customer service and fraud, we will never be doing business with this company again. We are looking for them to make it right. To refund the full amount of the table, despite the fact that we reversed the charge of the fraudulent protection plan. This is at least $319.99. Plus we would like there to be disciplinary action on Nancy Collins for her actions of adding the protection plan without permission and outright lying about it. We would like you to make your return process more customer friendly and let every customer know what they will need to do if they need to return anything. Be transparent. Also, either correct GBS on how they’re manipulating your customers or don’t use them for the protection plan. Just be kind and treat others as you would want them to treat you. If not, if you continue these greedy, criminal actions, it’s going to come back to you, like karma, and I can guarantee that you will be bankrupt in the near future.

I was really disappointed in the service during my visit to this store. When I walked in, the greeter turned and walked away. I wasn’t asked if I needed any help until 45 minutes after my arrival. I decided to take pictures and decide what I wanted so I could purchase the furniture online. The furniture looked great but the service at this location was horrendous. I will definitely be shopping at a different store next time.
My wife and I had been looking a several different options with several different stores however only Ashley had the quality we were looking for. We were really bracing ourselves for a very long delivery time. We know there are material shortages in almost every industry. I am not sure how Shawn made it happen but he go us the exact furniture at the best price and no long wait for delivery. In fact he called me yesterday to move up the delivery date. So needless to say we are both thrilled.

This store has gone down hill! They are so behind and their customer service is horrible. From day one our sales lady warned us. I at least hoped she would keep us updated on our order. Nope! She took her commission and left us hanging. 6 week later still no idea on when the sofa will be delivered? I still have to wait hours via there long wait time and now who knows when I will get my order. My previous experience were great, but they have lost a customer and I'm ready to cancel this order stop this head ache! I was originally told delivery would be 7-10 days since they had most of the sectional. No one reached out to me. After two weeks I call our sales lady. She from the start could not find my order. A few hours later she left voice mail with no info. I tried to call her the next day and she told me it was her day off she had no clue and gave me her work hours to call. The next day when I called Nancy she gave a delivery date with a condensing tone on 31 May. When I asked her if she was correct with that day she said "That is what I said!". Guess what no delivery on the 31 of May. No call no update, they just didn't show up. Now they are scheduling me for June 10 for a couch they originally said they had on hand.
Kimberly Kerr is the most nicest and patient human being. She heard our concerns and showed us the best furniture items to fit our needs. She followed up with us after our visit on two items that we were indecisive on which I did not expect at all. She’s an excellent asset to Ashley Furniture!

Pinellas park location is Garbage! Walked in Saturday knowing what I wanted. Was met accordingly, then ditched only to see 2 other employees standing around talking, w/o anyone - watching me look at kitchen tables, most with no prices on them. Case #03386191 - I was done with this store entirely after that! Skip ahead to today, after 3 stores w/no luck I gave their Clearwater location a chance. Sure glad I did! Kieara Russell was beyond expectations! Walked in, saw what I wanted, she stuck around, 20-30 mins later and $1,134 later I’ve got a kitchen table!

What a run around! Ugh! Tried to place an order for a number of days on their website, to no avail. It wouldn't accept the order, even though the site gave no reasons why. Tried to virtual chat someone from Customer Service multiple times, never connecting with anyone. Then, spent an entire day getting the run around from many employees at various Ashley locations (from the Customer Service department to the fullfullment center to the local store). No one could take my order. I was given the wrong contact info from multiple employees. I was informed it's best if I just go into the physical store. This is not convenient. FINALLY, I connected with a sales associate in the local store. She had all the trouble placing an order for me for 2 chairs. THEN, I couldn't pay with my credit card over the phone until they had both EMAILED me AND called me back to verify! They didn't even follow up with the correct person in my family for payment! I had just ordered $1800 worth of goods from Ashley's earlier this year. I will not be ordering from this store ever again. Such disorganization, unprofessionalism, and lack of true service.

Great showroom with a lot of different options pretty much all aspects of your home. Keith was great with his help and very patient. They have good prices and specials worth looking at. I find the delivery fee high personally.

I went in to purchase couches a half an hour before the store closed and I was greeted by a wonderful sales person by the name of Alexis. She was amazing and did not make me feel rushed nor did any of the staff knowing that they closed in a half hour. Everyone was gracious and took care of me promptly. Alexis is an amazing salesperson and will do anything to make sure that you are satisfied. My couches were delivered on time and were put together beautifully by two wonderful drivers. They made sure that I was happy and everything was put where it needed to be. I will never shop at another Furniture Store nor use anyone but Alexis!
Good quality furniture
Horrible first experience here at this location. For my first time coming to Ashley's they were lucky I did not take my business somewhere else because I needed a couch. The employees here have no communication with other employees which will cause frustration with the customer because if something were happen it is a he said she said type of situation. In order for us to receive a compensation we had to show proof of a text message to two employees one being a manager and a young lady with glasses behind the main desk. Another thing is they charged us 3 times because I can tell they were rushing things and they had to redo a whole order. We had to come back again to get a receipt and sign papers two days later. Then on that day they informed us that are order was canceled and had to redo it all over again. One of the employee that was assisting me before I purchased told me that my order will be here in 5 days. The day my order was canceled and replaced it is now getting here in 21 days and they blamed and ottoman b/c of it when they could had shipped it separately or ordered separately.
Met at entrance by salesperson. He answered questions and was knowledgeable and polite. I did end up buying a new recliner. I noted a discrepancy on one of the pieces in the showroom, and he acknowledged the clerical error ( not done by him). Reasonable prices. We bought a sofa before and cane back for another piece.

Comparing with other stores, the service and attention of Ashley’s staff is superior to all. The young man Clifford who greeted us as we entered the store, was courteous, friendly and very professional. At all time he was available to answer all our questions . Thanks to his high knowledge about the mattresses, that help my grandson to choose the right mattress. My grandson was amazed at everything he learned from Clifford. Especially how to treat the customer. Thank you to Clifford for his outstanding job.
I was pleasantly surprised when after being shown a couch and loveseat that o determined may not be a good fit for a home with 3 dogs,and when I inquired about a set quite a bit less expensive, that the sales associate didn't try to pressure me into buying a more expensive set,and instead told me about the benefits of getting the cheaper set with the three dogs,and what came with the 5 year plan that came with it. Quite an enjoyable experience.
We have had an amazing experience at Ashley and we owe that to the wonderful and talented Alexis. She is professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Quality of furniture has gone downhill. Bought a sectional and 2 recliners. Problem with all 3. Been waiting on parts for a month for the 2 recliners.
Nice selection of high quality furniture. They are pretty expensive though. Covid safe and they didn't follow us around while we browsed. We didn't find what we were looking for.

I purchased a coffee table and TV stand. The coffee table is a lift top and it doesn't close flat. The tec has been out twice and now I can't even get anyone to answer the phone. The service is horrible. No one will call me back.

I originally bought my furniture at the Pinellas Park store back in 2019. Sectional and dining room, bought on different dates. I was told I had a lifetime warranty because I applied for their credit card. Last year I had a stain on my sectional that I couldn’t remove and called them. They sent someone to look at it and he said that they will fix it when they’ll get a approval from corporate. A few weeks later I received an email from corporate saying that my damage wasn’t covered. I just didn’t want to argue about it and gave up. This year my pet chewed on one of the cushion pillows and part of the sectional chasis. So went back over to the same store to see if I can get it replaced. ( I was willing to pay for it) The excuse they gave me there it was that because the current President has blocked any ships to come to the US it’s no way to get any parts at this time so I had to wait. My husband said to maybe try another store. That’s when the Clearwater literally “shined” to us. They not only empathized with my concern, but they gave me options. They immediately sent a request to their corporate office and gave me a ticket number. A week later I received an email from corporate with a request of pictures of the damaged which I excitedly sent back and a day later they replied that will be sending me the replacement back at no cost. Now! That’s what I call great customer care service. From now on, the Clearwater store will be my place to go and will highly recommend to family and friends.

Purchased a living room set and tables. Set delivery up for two weeks ahead for a Saturday. It was Thursday no one had call with a window time. I called was advised delayed for over one month. No one bother to let me know. I had already sold my old living room set. Therefore now no living room set for one month. I called to file a complaint mainly because they did not contact me to let me know. I did the chat with Ashley which was of no help. I was advised to contact the main store which only got a recorder saying everyone was busy. I held until finally option was to leave a message for a return call. I left a message asking for a manager to call me back. No calls. I called again same experience. I ended up going to the store in person cancelling the order. I went to another furniture store not Ashley and they will deliver my furniture the same week. I would not ever recommend Ashley which is a shame because I was a repeated customer. They for sure have lost me as a customer.
I have NEVER in my life dealt with such an unprofessional company like I have with Ashley home store! We ordered our furniture on 12/7/2020 and was told it would be delivered 1/23/21 (the day we moved into our new home). Well of course that didn't happen and we were then told our order would come 2/1/21. While that day was true, only HALF of our order was delivered and we were told the other half would be delivered 3/1. I took time off work for 3/1 only to find out the couch will not be delivered on that date and will be in the warehouse as of 3/10. I spoke with a representative and they PROMISED me that it will be there on 3/30, which put in time at work to take off that day and just now was told it wont be until after April 8th that we will get our couch. Its all just a game at this point. They have our money In full for this furniture and keep pushing our date further and further. Will NEVER purchase a single item from this company ever again!

Theresa was the only sales rep, regardless of the store, that spent the time explaining the different grades and features of the Ashley Furniture line of products. Her suggestions, understanding and knowledge of your products is commendable.

Nancy at ASHLEY'S is so amazing. She has helped out with multiple purchases over the years. She is so good assisting us in our decisions and making sure we get the best price.
Being in sales and sales management for well over 30 years, I would say hands down the most deplorable customer service I have witnessed, ever!! Would go to the local dump before I ever wasted another dime or ever stepped foot in this establishment again! Just do a minute of due diligence and read some reviews. Amazing how similar and the pattern that takes place with many of them.
Let me start off by saying I wish I could give this place 0 stars. My experience with this store and company as a whole was terrible! Around September 7th of 2020 I ordered a dining room set and a week later a three piece leather living room set. I was promised the dining room table and 10 chairs would be delivered mid-October. In October I only got the tabletop, base, and 4 chairs. The remaining chairs didn't come in until four weeks later and they were two at a time. The living room set wasn't delivered in the promised time period of 4-6 weeks but pushed back to the third week of November. Then in November they contacted me and said they would deliver the sofa and two loveseats around the 6th of December. The 5th of December they then contacted me and said the delivery would not be until February?!?! I decided I no longer have any need or desire for the one sofa they delivered since I do not have the matching pieces yet. I decided to dispute and cancel the entire order with Ashley because countless times they didn't deliver on time and kept pushing back the delivery dates. They brought one sofa and we are trying to return and refund it because the other sofas that match with it never came because they pushed it to February. The sofa they brought is in perfect condition with tags still on it. I have asked them to refund it and set up a pickup date because we do not want to shop with this company but I cannot get them to work with me and they refuse to refund us. They are an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE to work with! The customer service is terrible and the people are very unprofessional. Do not decide to shop with them it would be a big mistake!

Well I went to the store to order 2 Darcy chairs that I couldn't order from their website. The website was not user friendly at all. Also it was pointed out nimerous times that the website with their name was separate from the store. The young lady who assisted me in the store explained things clearly. Everything was going fine until she started asking about putting money down even though I was using the Ashley store credit card but they were going to accept no cash down. Then it got worse when they pointed out that free delivery meant that upon delivery of the furniture. One they would not bring furniture into the house and secondly I would have to bring the furniture to their warehouse in Brandon, Florida if there were any problems or damage at time of delivery. Totally disappointing experience.
Shopping for new sofa
I’m going to add my review of how horrible this store is. We bought a bed and headboard Dec 14, 2020 . It was estimated to be delivered in 2.5 weeks. Finally we had a delivery date Feb 23rd. We specifically told the delivery customer service that we would not be home until after 1130. Of course truck shows up at 1050. We were literally 15 min from home and they would not wait. Talking with delivery this morning they said our items went back to the store and that the store sent our things to another customer. How does that even happen? I’m totally disgusted with this store and I wish I would’ve read al these reviews before I went there. Lesson learned!

She is so kind and understand with my current situation with buying a new home and when we are going to get our new furniture delivered. At first I was hesitant about going to Ashley but she made me feel at home and able to pick out furniture in the best interest in both my budget and my style. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews. This store and staff were wonderful! Dawn was patient in helping us find a new couch and dining set. Staff had masks on, delivery was smooth. Some parts were missing and they were sent to us right away. Going back to buy more!
My husband and I purchased a whole new bed with the frame, headboard, mattress, and box spring late Dec. They told us that we could not get it till late Feb. Because something was on back order. I got an email stating that we could get it sooner. Changed the date to today Feb. 16th took a half day of work so that we could be available for it. We told them that it would need to be at noon or after because I am working from home. Well I get a call on Feb. 7th for the delivery for Monday the 15th. I said no I can not do that days and that's not what I had asked for. Well I got that fixed. Today feb.16th the guy is hear to deliver the stuff. I said that I could not take it right now due to having a puppy and and 2 cats that need to be put up and me working on the phone with clients and need as much quite as possible. He said to me oh I can come back at 12 no problem. I said ok. Then I get off and 1pm rolls around still no sign of the delivery. I sent 5 hours on trying to figure out my delivery. People tell me one thing then others said another for 5 hours. I got the ring around all day that someone would call me. Heard nothing. Finally got another manager but she was not able to do anything for me. Their solution was to just push the delivery out for another week after being to the guy would come back. And after I had said many times not to come before noon. No one listens. And they do not take what customes say into consideration. So now the delivery should be delivered on Sunday. I would not get any thing delivered from this company.a lot of people that I spoke to throughout the day was rude.

Legit the worst. I ordered a couch on Black Friday. They keep pushing back the delivery date. It's now mid-February and I still have no clue when it's arriving. I've been on hold now for over 20 minutes to try and get a delivery estimate but nobody picks up. Same thing happened last month when I tried to see when it was being delivered. I had to physically drive back to the store just to talk to somebody. The store manager is useless and offered me zero help. This is the last piece of furniture I'll ever buy from this place. The customer service is definitely the worst I've experienced. They don't care about their customers and there's no way to even get a hold of them! I wish I could rate them negative stars. I called to complain to corporate about them and they gave me the customer service number. I filed a complaint but never heard back and still have no couch. To say I'm frustrated is an understatement.

I was supposed to get my bed delivered on 2/8/21 and no one ever called me or showed up so I called Ashley's store and waited 30 minutes for someone to answer. Customer Service finally answered and I asked for the sales person that sold me the furniture; I was told that the sales people have nothing to do with the customer after the sale is done. I was switched to the warehouse and they said I had no delivery scheduled so I was pretty upset and had it scheduled for the next week as I am only off of work on Monday and Tuesday. I called the store back as I wanted to know what had happened and customer service said they could not help me and I let her know what I thought of the way they treat their customers and this was my first time buying from Ashley's furniture and the last! I asked what the name of the store Manager was and she did not know and I asked please check and I would like to call him and she replied he has no number....I asked if my furniture would be delivered on the ew date and she said well if you do not hear from them 3 days before call us and I lost it! She wanted me to call a number that never answers and talk to customer service that can not handle a problem and does not care!!
Do not shop here! They lie about your delivery dates and move them out constantly without notice just to get your business. Yes they have beautiful furniture but I still have no idea when I’ll see it in my home. I ordered a dining room table , server and chairs mid December and it was then promised 1/30, which is why I ordered and PAID IN FULL. Well now I guess they think they’ve got me because 1/30 turned to 2/1 which was a weekday I had to request off from work, then turned into 2/6 without notice, burning one of my vacation days, but they don’t care, then to 2/27 so I split the chairs to a separate order and got those 2/6. Now table and server went to 2/13 jumped again to 2/27, yesterday got a call they’ll be in 2/11, called, now they’re 3/2! And I even doubt this date will hold. I’ve called corporate and no one will let me speak with a supervisor, all they say is a scripted “I do apologize for your inconvenience, I’m sorry ma’am” No one answers the phone at the store. And they have my $3000!!! I understand we are in a pandemic and have attempted to be flexible but maybe I would’ve chose another store if they gave an accurate or at least close to accurate delivery date. This is false advertising and failure to deliver goods that have been paid for....all the while, they’re continuing to have 30% off sales to draw in more people when they can’t even make good on orders already placed!

Terrible customer service . Store never picks up the phone . General manager apparently works 2 days a week with 3 hour lunch breaks . District manager doesn’t return phone calls !! Office manager can’t fix problems . Sales manager only cares about looking cute and her paycheck !! Shipping department is a joke !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Truly a terrible experience !!! Buyer beware I used to spend thousands a year with Ashley !!! Never again !!! And they couldn’t care less which is the sad part !

Purchased entertainment stand, paid extra $100 for assembly and promised delivery on a Thursday. No call or text on Wednesday so called customer service was told oh sorry it will be Sunday. ( My husband and I were off work to accept delivery). Ok, things happen a little inconvenient but understandable. Sunday the stand was delivered unassembled. Unable to reach the store and super aggravated. Now I don’t have the stand to use and a giant box in my living room.
This is the second order I’ve placed with Ashley and it’s more disappointing than the last. I was supposed to have my couch delivered today after waiting over two months for delivery. I receive no call, no delivery confirmation so call to see what time it’ll be arriving. I find out it’s been back ordered and won’t arrive til next month. This is so frustrating. Customer service said there is nothing they can do and I have to talk to the store I purchased from. I go to the Clearwater store to see if they can do anything and spoke to the manager, Dana Tucker, who told me that it’s not her fault I didn’t receive a confirmation and passed the buck completely. When scheduling the new delivery date, she said that if I don’t receive confirmation it’s not coming. I asked if that’s what is to be expected, shouldn’t I receive a call if it’s back ordered? She said yes, but it’s not in her control and I may not. I asked isn’t there a way to improve this process? It’s not right that customers don’t know when their furniture is being delivered. She just said it’s not her fault and there is nothing she can do. Terrible customer service and they don’t seem to care. At least not at this store.

If I could leave zero stars I would. DO NOT buy from this place. The customer service is absolutely horrible. I had furniture delivered last week, two pieces were correct but broken, the other two pieces were the wrong color. They called me on Saturday to tell me my furniture will be delivered tomorrow, I did not receive any notifications so after calling eight times and spending 40 minutes on the phone, I finally got a person. The person tells me that I called yesterday to reschedule it to February 2 which is not correct. I never called to reschedule. Now they're telling me I have to wait till January 28. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!! I've added one pic.
So November 1,2020 I paid for a dining room table with bar stools. Been round and round about it being delivered. Well it was delivered today January 23,2021. It came in a box a box. I did not pay for it to come in a box. Delivery guys said to call customer service I did and to my surprise they told me I had to go to the store. So I get in my car and drove to the store which was a joke. So as I explained my situation again round and round we went. So she blamed it on the warehouse that they marked it wrong. Not my fault. So the soonest someone can come assemble it is in three weeks. So I told her to come get it. Another surprise once it is in your home they do not refund. Now isn’t that lovely. I paid for this table on November 1st and I still have to wait another three weeks. So I will not buy there again. I am buying all new furniture for my home family room, living room and Florida room. But guess what it will not be Ashley Furniture. 😡

First, THEY DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS. I wish our salesperson was more concerned with our needs than just making a sale. We bought a $2k sleeper sofa. At no time was it ever stated, documented, or discussed, the no return policy. If they had told me that up front I would have walked out. The glibness of the store manager was amazing. Do yourself a favor and avoid Ashley like the plague. Too bad I had a whole house to furnish, enjoy your Noseless face Ashley
This place is a joke. I purchased an extended warranty after having a ton of issues with the purchase anyway. I was told a ton of lies about my furniture and then when I went to put a claim on the warranty, that took forever as well. They sent a young kid to “repair” the furniture. This kid could care less about me or my furniture. Then they wanted to send him back out. I said no! They decided to replace it after the repair guy told me the furniture is crap! So this is where it gets good! The warranty that I purchased was five years. I’m only 1.5 years in. Well, they don’t warranty the replacement for the rest of my five years. I have to purchase a new warranty. On top of that when they deliver the new table it has no screws to put it together and no instructions. I’ve been trying to reach them for an hour but of course they have so many issues the phone calls are horrible and you can’t get thru. This is why I will NEVER purchase another product with this name on it. Still waiting btw and did the whole review and never could get thru!
Do NOT order from Ashley online! You cannot return items unless it's within 3 days and they have to be damaged in shipping. Otherwise good luck! I never would have thought such a well known store would have such a horrid return policy! They lost my business for life. I accidentally ordered the wrong item and was going to give it as a gift so I didn't open the box immediately. But it wouldn't have mattered anyway!
Absolutely the worse costumer service you walk in the store and the sale people are either talking to each other’s or at their cell phones. We needed a living room and a bedroom set and the sale person said to us I be seating here let me know if you have questions. No one bother to ask if we need help or show us a deal after 20min walking around the store we desire to go to another store. We ended up in rooms to go and getting the bedroom set mattres and living room we where looking for and the sale person was excellent and walk us through the whole process. This people need to have a better training and is rude to be on the phone and tell costumers I’m here if you need me you need me more that is we purchase over 9.950 dollars in the other store. The furniture pieces are beautiful but they can’t sell an their own.
I’ve called the store four times through their local number and it keeps going to the national customer service line. I’m told that the question I have must be answered locally. They continue to give me the same number and advise that it goes to the national hotline because nobody is answering at the store. Even the customer representative tried to call the store with no response twice. Oh, and by the way it’s approximately a 15 minute wait each time I call. If this is a preview of their customer service they offer I want no part of it.
The last two purchases from this store have been nothing but a hassle. The last purchase was a mattress bought on black friday. The sales person wrote down the wrong model and we were delivered the wrong mattress. Even after going back to the store and admitting their mistake they refuse to make the situation right. Refused return / refund and even scheduled a re-delivery (of the same mattress) without our authorization. The customer care center was useless is resolving the issue. They said they were cancelling the delivery and putting it through the cancellations department and yet today we get a call from the warehouse that the same (wrong) mattress is on the way. Our only recourse is to do a credit card chargeback. Avoid this establishment (not just this store) at all costs. The customer service line said the only recourse was to go back to the store that was the source of the problem to begin with.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. They are crooks plain and simple! Bought a 500 dollar desk, received damaged. We followed the return policy yet they REFUSED to give us our money back. Also, the manager at this location is a greasy cheeseburger-eating walrus who speaks to everyone as if they are stupid. My girlfriend was really upset that he talked to her so rudely.
Part 1/2 This is the beginning of Luis Ruiz review since I can't repost. I am writing this review to hopefully save potential customers from a horrific experience, Poor customer service, and poor quality control on products. I’m also trying to hopefully have somebody in a higher level position see this so they can understand what customers are going through on a daily basis dealing with their company. I went to this Clearwater location solely to see if I like the feel and look of the products I was going to purchase online. A sales person approached us we told them specifically we were just looking to see if we like the products prior to buying them online. She tried to sell us on different products also the same ones saying she could potentially get us something cheaper. This is perfectly fine she’s a sales person that’s her job I was OK with it. After informing her everything she tried would not match what was online she asked how much it would cost. Once told, she then said that seems wrong and called her manager over. He then tried to sell us with a specific percentage or certain dollar amount off. We replied this still will not be cheaper than the online price. At this point we showed him the price and I said you cannot match this price we’re just looking to see if we like the feel and the look of the furniture. The manager then called someone online to tell them that their online system potentially had discrepancies. I know this because as I went to purchase the product a few minutes after leaving the store the website was down. There was an additional 10% being given off of the total price which I agreed should have been fixed and we should not of gotten the price off. With that said the way that it was handled made us feel that by doing the right thing we were getting punished. When we went back online the 10% was no longer being offered which was fine but the prices were raised as well. This was the main issue. We had screenshots of the price and everything listed which was brought up to Ashley‘s furniture. Ultimately they said they would not honor the price. Just to be clear this was not even an issue compared to what was to come. After spending roughly $3600 I received multiple damaged products. Let me be specific, I received a total of 12 chairs to pick the best individual pieces to make a total of six tolerable chairs for my table. My table was fixed once and was set to be switched out but unfortunately another damaged table came. My entertainment center was returned three different times. My couches and sofas also needed repairs. At this point I have wasted 20+ hours of phone time, spoken to over 35+ people, and was unable to have any customer service rep, customer service supervisor or even someone in corporate from the Wisconsin Arcadia office call me back to handle the situation. Just to name a few of the people that I spoke to and left messages for with no resolve or return call. Edward Ebonho Tampa, FL regional supervisor spoke to me once on the phone said everything correctly and even gave me a phone number to reach him if there were any issues. I felt like something was actually going to get done after speaking to this gentleman. Although the process was slightly expedited after running into issues once again. I tried to contact Edward four different times leaving messages each time and he never made an attempt to call me in return. Michelle Hill which is supposed to be the assistant to the director of customer service, I was given this name by the receptionist at the Wisconsin Arcadia corporate office. I have called there multiple times and gotten Miss Hill‘s voicemail with no return but also I was told on 12-8-2020 that she is no longer a part of the company per the receptionist. The same corporate office transferred me to a Wes Dudley who was supposed to be the director of customer service but there was no name on the answering machine so I don’t even know if it’s actually his and I never received a phone call after leaving two messages. I finally have almost everything done except for the table.
Part 2/2 The table was just delivered on 12-7-2020 damaged once again I have now put in a request to keep the table but to receive a discount due to not wanting to waste anymore time waiting for damaged goods once again. Now part of this review would go onto Ashley‘s furniture online but they don’t allow you to write a review that is straight from the customer they get to look at it and decide what they put on their website. So this review is valid at this location due to the beginning discrepancy of how they handled the situation but it’s also for the online poor customer service and quality control issue of products. The objective of this review is to let people know regardless of one’s good experience with Ashley’s furniture it is not worth being in my position to ever take the chance of buying furniture with Ashley furniture. I would never, ever even look at an Ashley‘s furniture or refer people to one. My hope is someone in this company that cares about their customers and the quality of their product and their customer service experience will finally contact me and resolve the situation the way it should be. Now let me be clear there was a handful of customer service reps that I spoke to that were very good but unfortunately could not resolve the situations. Also I did receive discounts, multiple discounts. This does not change the fact that there was no quality control on their products and horribly handled customer service. To end this I would like to say respectfully to you Mr. Todd R. Wanek, how would you feel if a company did this to a close friend or family member? So far I have not yet received my order. I am already displeased. I placed my order in store. I was told all but on piece was in stock. I asked if I could get what was delivered and when the other came in that it also was delivered. I was told yes, and that someone would be calling to schedule. This was mid November. It is now the beginning of December. I can not get through to speak with someone. Yes, slightly my fault as I can not spend over 30 min waiting. After calling several times and having to hang up after sitting on hold for 30 min... I reached out with the online chat. I was told my order was scheduled for delivery. I was extremely unhappy since no one called me to schedule. They just took it upon themselves to schedule and assumed I would just be there. They do not give time frames till the day prior either, therefore I can’t even try to get out of work to meet, as I can’t give substantial notice. So ultimately that day wouldn’t work. As I explained my frustration to the person in the chat, I received no Sincerity, no explanation, and no apology. Just this is the day it’s scheduled for. If you can not be there change it. Just no care. I wish I had taken my business elsewhere. Honestly, if I could cancel this order I would. I refurnished and have had no issues with the 3 other places I ordered from. Hopefully when I do receive my order everything is perfect because if not, that will just be the icing on cake.
Terrible customer service. If I could have left a negative star, I would have! Here is my story. On 11/14/20 my wife and I bought 2 bed sets Ashley-Sleep Gruve 14" Memory Foam Queen mattresses with Adjustable Bases. The sign on the bed was saying "Up To 50% off plus extra 10% off or select your financing." Indeed price was Up to 50% off. So, we bought 2 sets, paid over $3,000 by credit card. But completely forgot about the last part of the sign: plus extra 10% off or select your financing. So, we went there again on 11/20/20 and asked about plus extra 10% off part, because we didn't need the financing. Well, that's where nightmare started. Everyone in customer service, apparently stopped understanding English. Every time I start talking about the plus extra 10% off part, they would pretend not understanding and refer to the first part the Up To 50% off, as it was included there. Even when the manager of the store joined the conversation, he was singing the same song, like it was included in that 50% off. The manager was very rude to us and I suspect was drank. Bottom line, we spent over an hour there, but no resolution. So, Ashley, I dare you to contact me and resolve the issue. You have my phone number. It was used for delivery.
I purchased a dining set and couch for my first place and had an amazing experience looking for these pieces. I worked with Kim for almost an hour and she went above and beyond. She connected with me and made sure to show me pieces that would fit the living space and my budget. Overall amazing experience, I usually don't like working with sales people but working with Kim was painless. I highly recommend coming here for the quality and for the customer service.
I went to order a Dolante Queen bedframe. Sales person was very nice. I chose the beige color fabric. Saw it in person and the sales person, Alexis printed me a picture. She was very nice. Was told it would be 6+ weeks for delivery (drop off). No propblem. I received delivery late Sunday, and the bed is medium brown. I tried to get through by phone to customer service but it was hours. Went to the online chat and uploaded their photo of the bed and a photo I what I received. Online chat rep said it’s the same color and that the showroom lights made it look lighter! Update: they made no resolution and I have been forced to get new curtains, bedding, chair and artwork to match a bed color that was not as advertised! Was also told to receive any recompense I needed to make ANOTHER trip to Clearwater store. I did and they told my file is closed. Steven Ramjit (district manager) I strongly urge you to get in contact with me.

My furniture was paid almost 3 months ago and Ashley keep pushing out my delivery date, poor communication & customer experience, today I found out that my delivery date was pushed again so I went to the store to speak to Kristie ASM and she kept cutting me out repeating the company policy when all I wanted is to share my frustration with the company and what I expecting from the company to take care of me then I requested to speak to 'Bak' Store Manager, I respectfully stopped Christie because she started the conversation by can you explain the customer the company policy Kristie didn't show empathy about my situation when I spoke with Bak he was laughing in my face with a sarcastic tone (I wonder delivery is delayed because you pay in two parts) I shared with him that was no respectful and nothing professional from him (no understanding that my invoice was fully pay almost two months ago) 'Bak' Store Manager did not take the time to ask enough questions and fully understand my case.
Dawn was our salesperson. She was very patient and really professional. She was very helpful in learning what our needs and wants are. She says she's into home design and we can tell. She is great! The prices are really reasonable and they are having their Black Friday sales for the month of November. Everyone in the store practices social distancing. I definitely recommend Ashley for your furniture needs. I was interested in something online and not in the store. Dawn was able to show me online items also. Thank you for a very positive experience.
Got a 9 piece living room set LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. THEY HAVE American made Furniture as well unlike other stores such as I won't name Ida places but the most popular ones as you know around here
Don't waste your time. They told me my couch would be delivered in 4 weeks when I purchased it at the beginning of October and there is still no delivery date in sight. They finally told me it would be delivered November 25. I called to tell them that was unacceptable and to get my delivery fee refunded. They are now saying the couch won't even arrive at their warehouse until December 18th. Horrible customer service and telephone etiquette. I stayed on hold with them for 40 minutes before I gave up. I guess if you want to actually talk to anyone you have to physically go into the store. Maybe I'll get my couch someday.
The sales staff need to get their facts straight with one another. When one says one thing, and another comes over and contradicts it, the customer starts to lose trust.

If I could have left a negative star, I would have! After years of buying Ashley furniture for our home and highly recommending them to family and friends, our latest experience has been an absolute nightmare! From an overextended delivery due date, delivery drivers damaging the furniture when they finally brought it, having to wait almost a month later for technician to show up to "fix" it, he determines he can't and tells us we need a replacement. We were told just a week and a half for a replacement, and then today I get a call-not until the end of next month! Seriously?? Add to this that whenever I try and call them, I'm on hold foreverrr and then when they answer, it "disconnects" immediately. Horrible horrible customer service-after this fiasco I'm FINISHED with Ashleys!
Purchasing furniture was a great experience; the saleswoman worked within my budget and was great. Delivery of furniture was an absolute nightmare. 1) called customer service to let them know I got a new number to reach me at for delivery. 2) Delivery is supposed to happen on Tuesday- I called to see what happened and they couldn't contact me to confirm because customer service apparently never changed my number. 3) I call customer service now for the second time to change my number and after 10 minutes the guy said he has it a taken care of and Furniture will be there Sunday at 1. 4) I call Sunday, the store, morning to be sure all is set because I do have a life. they STILL do not have the correct number, so for a 3rd time I give my new number and they say now my furniture will be here between 4 and 7. What? I planned my whole day around delivery. 5) I get transfered to the front who STILL have my old number- this is now the fourth person who says they will update to the correct number. 6) sitting at home waiting for furniture and blew my entire day waiting on these people. Never buy from Ashley Furniture

Place an order on Labor Day weekend. Everything about this place told me to walk out but I needed a bed for my new home. Walked in and went to the mattress section. I was looking for a BeautyRest Black and no one was there to help. At least 3 employees were talking to each other while sitting on a bed but no one helped me. Finally, went to the front desk and asked someone to help me. Paid cash for a bed frame and dresser around $1200. Also ordered a BeautyRest Black with my store card and was told it would be delivered on 9/29. Well it wasn’t. On 10/17, I was told it would be delivered on 10/23 and this was after 4 different delays in shipping. I want to be clear, the delay didn’t bother me. I understand it’s because of Covid and our supply chain resources are very thin. The problem was I called the store 14 days in a row to get updates. No one answered. When they don’t answer, the phone is transferred to a customer service rep in another state. The service rep can only cancel your order or give you an expected delivery date. I asked each time if I can be transferred to the store. Every time I was transferred the line hung up. So I had to start the process again. Imagine calling the same store 5 times a day and never getting through. I cancelled my order. My advice is use Ashley as a last option. Their customer service is a 1/10 in the store and a 0/10 once you place your order.
The customer service at this establishment is one of the worst places to ever go. It just adds stress especially in times like these. They are not helpful with anything hang up on calls and just tries to push their responsibility onto other services such as the warranty company. When called upon they said it would be Ashley's responsibility. We even went into the store to talk to one of the workers who said they couldn't do anything. Would not return and would suggest going anywhere else. Even calling the corporation they are no help it makes sense as to why this company has such low reviews and wish I went through them before this whole mess happened
Dawn made our experience at Ashley nothing short of wonderful. We shopped around at several different furniture stores and she was by far the best person to work with. She was patient and informative but most of all, kind. She really left an impact on me and my family and I will recommend her endlessly. Though we were planning on buying some furniture at Ashley, I will say that I liked a sectional better at another store but because Dawn was who she was, We also bought that from her. Thank you, Dawn!
I went here three different times over a month period. I have yet to get someone to help me. I actually had employees avoid eye contact with me so they didn't have to help me and helped people who came in afterward. I had a couch I wanted to buy but if i can't get a sales associate to acknowledge my existence I see no reason to shop here.
Nice furniture. Just be willing to wait months to get it. Once you purchase, they don't care about you anymore. I got an entertainment center delivered missing the left side. Store admitted they made a mistake and said wait another week. One week later, wait another month. I bought furniture in August. It won't be until November and 3 separate deliveries before i have all my stuff ( I hope)
I went to Ashley furniture because I first bought my bedroom set there and love my set! My husband and I decided we wanted to upgrade from a queen bed to a king. I wanted to keep the same bed frame so it would match the rest of our bedroom set. The entire experience from ordering our new bed and bed frame to delivery has been a nightmare! Last Friday they were scheduled to deliver our new king size mattress and king size bed frame, they showed up 2 hours early (normally I’d be happy but I had planned my day around their 1:45 - 5:45pm time frame), neither my husband nor I can work from home so we planned our day to take off work to be home for the time frame. They called at 11:45 to tell me they were at our house. I informed them I could not be home until 1pm. They came back at 1pm although coming from Tampa I hit a delay. They only waited 8 minutes unlike the delivery person told me 15 minutes, guess they don’t take into consideration people having cameras on their homes. They also asked if I’d let the person detailing my husbands truck that day sign off on the delivery!!! Needless to say we had to reschedule. They were suppose to deliver our bed and bed frame today but we only got the bed. They sent our bed frame to someone else and we now are suppose to wait until December for our bed frame because it’s now on back order. Last week the bedframe and bed were both on the truck to be delivered. Best part, they never called to tell us the bed frame was back ordered. Spoke with 2 corporate employees today and neither could find notes that they ever contacted us to let us know the bed is now on back order. . My husband is a 90% disabled veteran for both neck and back conditions and they have supplied us no answers.
It's rooms to go but less crowded. Quality of furniture is very hit or miss. Service was fine but not particularly noteworthy.
I purchase bar/pub counter barstools. They took almost 2 1/2 weeks to arrive and when I received them they were the counter height. I paid extra for the bar/pub height chairs because they were the height that I needed for my bar in my kitchen. When I tried to call and exchange I had to speak with 3 separate team members. I even live chatted someone and was told that she didn't submit the case so that I could exchange the chairs. I have spent $300 on two barstools and received THE WRONG ONES. The customer service that I have received is completely awful. Not to mention the fact that I NEVER received a call back from them in regards to exchanging my order. I am so beyond disappointed and will be contacting disputing the charge and contacting the BBB if I do not receive the correct chairs.

It look over 6 weeks to get the wrong and damages pieces and multiple weeks later it’s still not resolved and the replacement piece is unavailable. I bought a sectional couch, stood on couch to dust a picture frame on the wall the couch frame breaks. I call the local store as requested and since I didnt purchase the warranty plan there is nothing they can do. I asked if i could schedule someone to come repair it? Sorry maam you will need to call a handy man for the repair. I cant believe after spending 1700 on a couch they cant even send someone to repair it even when I offered to pay for the repair. I will not buy from Ashely Furniture Store. I cant even stand on it to dust. I only weight less than 120 lbs. I usually dont write reviews but I work hard for my money. Frustrated and disappointed!
Don't do it. Promised delivery was yesterday. Took an hour and a half to get a remote customer rep. They will not answer the phone Corporate doesn't answer their phone Our delivery is over TWO MONTHS out. Hahahahaha. No thanks. Frustrating. Tip: let them know your already contracted with another vendor (old furniture removal) and they'll understand and honor your order cancellation. (Florida law)
We're very pleased with the furniture protection plan. They honored every part of it unlike other stores like Kanes. Customer service is always good as well.

After talking for more than 30 minutes on the cell phone with customer service, the representative said all she could do was to reschedule the delivery for the 15th. I would absurdly have to wait one more week and the only thing she said I could do to try to speed it up would be contacting the Clearwater store, which she said she tried to contact as well but nobody in the store was answering. I’ve tried to call the Clearwater store many times for the past two days without any success. However, I managed to talk to the person who sold the sofa by calling her cell phone, in the same number that she was using to message me when I was about to buy it. She said that the system had registered that I said that my house was not ready to deliver(???). I told her that at no point did I say that and she said she would look into it and call me back. She didn't call me back, didn't answer my calls or text messages and after trying a loooot, the next day she finally replied to me by sending me a text. She was very rude, accusing me again of having said that my home was not ready and was totally unhelpful. I was treated like it was my fault and haven’t at least heard a simple apology! The worst thing about all this is not even receiving the sofa late, but having to deal with an extremely rude, unhelpful and arrogant staff that treat their customers poorly.

They still lack inventory and selection. Hopefully that will get better near the end of the year.
There is so much I can say, but will try to stick to the facts. Bought furniture prior to Covid and there were still delivery issues. With covid they think they have a good reason for horrible customer service, and they don't care. I was a fool to go back, furniture purchased more than 2 months ago, still haven't received it. Multiple delivery dates, zero communication within their organization, different people call with different delivery dates and nobody knows what the real deal is. Save yourself the aggravation and just go somewhere else. Can't include any pics b/c I STILL don't have the furniture.
I just moved and needed a bedroom set .. Salesperson Jass was awesome ! She was very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with ! Not pushy at all and very sweet ! Will go back for more to give her the business!

I have yet to receive my furniture, which has been delayed 4 different times. Ashley is impossible to reach by phone and each call that I receive has a different story behind which portion of my order is not yet available. I will never shop nor recommend Ashley again
The customer service here is terrible. They never answer the phones. The message says they will return your call within 48 hours...that was a week ago. I just need to revise my order. I may just cancel the whole thing. It's pretty clear that the store doesn't give a damn about the customer once they've made the sale. I'm darn sure going to cancel if I have to waste my rime and go to store...
They do not answer their phones and get everything wrong. Go to one of the larger stores in Tampa for good service and working phones.
I am really on the fence with Ashley right now. It took 3 deliveries and a service call before all the items made it to my house a month after the first delivery date.The first delivery team was a nightmare!!! The 2nd and 3rd were better. After several lengthy phone calls i was finally told "I am so sorry you had that experience and someone will be in contact to help with some compensation for the issue's " that call never happened. And now 1 month after i got all of my pieces the handles are breaking... this is not what i thought Ashley stood for. I am very disapointed in a company that i once called the top of the service industry . This experiance makes me regret ever buying 2 bedroom sets from Ashley. I have now had the bedroom sets about 6 months. I have had to call service out yet again to repair the slides on the dresser. I am VERY disapointed in the quality. Ashley used to be an industry leader, apparently now that is no longer the case. I will not be looking to them when i replace the living room set at the end of the year. This will be my last Ashley purchase.

Furthermore, despite Ashley having my all of my contact details, I have yet to receive the promised confirmation in writing that a slight reduction in delivery charges would be credited. I will not shop at Ashley’s again and am recommending to others to chose another store.

My in store purchase with Dawn was incredible however the customer service was beyond horrible I reached out to every number I could find including corporate all this because they could never seem to give me the correct information for delivery it was constantly a wrong date and time. I needed to take time off from work cancel appointments. Finally uwebt to the store and spoke with Christy Therrien who was the only person that took care of my situation and actually did what she said she’d would. The in store was perfect but went to a zero after that. Thank you Christy for your assistance.
Excellent place Dawn did an excellent job helping us furnish our new home. She has a passion for helping people. If you are looking for a sales person who has your beat interest at heart, definitely look for Dawn when you first walk in the store. We were blessed to have her. We were rather finicky. We went to multiple furniture stores and Ashley's was the best price, selection, and professional without coming across as being pushy. Military personnel should definitely check them out. You won't be disappointed.
This is the first Ashley Homestore that I have visited and I am amazed at the quality furniture as well as the amazing staff. As soon as I arrived I was greeted and helped. I want to highlight Jasmine as she is the employee that helped me during my visit. She took the time to get an understanding of my style and provided me with options to choose from. She was super patient as I can be picky and really made it her mission to find something that was both comfy and modern. I am happy to report that I have a new couch! I will continue to shop at this location because of the amazing service I received.
We’ve now made two purchases at the Ashley furniture in Clearwater and we’ve had an excellent experience all around. We worked with Theresa who was so lovely! She was incredibly helpful during every step of the process. Buying large furniture can be stressful but she made it an enjoyable experience where we didn’t feel pressured to purchase. We would highly recommend going to see her there!
Horrible customer service. Promised to deliver everything in June and cancelled on me 3 times. we cannot get anyone to call us back to cancel the order. I would never recommend them to anyone.
We purchased furniture and it was delivered a little over a week ago. The customer service in store, by Dawn, was top notch. She was 5 stars. We had some issues with the furniture not being assembled properly so I got mad and deleted my very detailed review and now im bummed cuz Dawn has already rectified the situation and is sending a technician out. I do agree with some of these bad reviews that all seem to be delivery guy based, but ask for Dawn when you go in and u will for sure be in good hands no matter what!
Very poor customer service. Paid 149 for delivery and all they did was bring in couch, love seat, and dining table. 4 chairs and 4 living room tables arrived completely unassembled. I'm a 64 disabled women and can not put this furniture together so still sitting in the boxes. Don't recommend Ashley to anyone.
Received a Chest via shipping (not delivery) and when we opened the box, the Chest was half crushed!! Haven&'t been able to get anyone to help me get it fixed or even get a technician scheduled. $500 for just a small chest to hold blankets down the drain!!! No resolution worst customer service ever!!!! Don&'t shop Ashley!!!!
I worked with Alexis from the Clearwater store and she was FABULOUS! I previously visited both Pinellas Park and Tampa locations to switch the configuration of a sectional I ordered. Both Pinellas Park and Tampa locations said the sectional I ordered came in ONE configuration, however while Alexis juggled multiple customers she managed to check the inventory and found the configuration I was looking for. This small action on her part saved me from looking for an entire new sectional and I couldn't be more pleased to work with her!
Horrible, terrible customer service. Purchased the Kisper queen upholstered bed. Is not worth the $469 I paid for it more like a $250 bed. Also, one reason I purchased it was the description said 84 inches long but it's actually 102 inches almost two feet longer than advertised. Wanted to return it for that reason and the quality and the tell me they have a NO return policy for any reason if purchased in store unless it is damaged. They said since you seen it in the store you knew what you were getting. I will never buy anything from Ashley again. Also they assembled the headboard upside-down so I had them fix it.
Extremely poor customer service. We had to wait for long time to be helped. Then someone finally comes over and said that items we wanted to purchase has the wrong tag. She called someone else and said customers usually change tags and cannot sell the items as wrong tag was on it. We asked to talked to a manager and she said manager is not there and we can wait for 30min and walked away. Then she showed us the items that match the tag and I said ok I am going to buy them, took forever and I have to carry myself the chairs because none one to help. I will not come back.
The purchase and delivery of the furniture was smooth and painless...unless you find a defect and need customer service to resolve the issue. This company will put you through nonexistent customer service hell- we called and left messages multiple times, tried messaging on their website multiple times, tried calling the local store but it led us to the same automated system hell, Facebook messaged, Twitter messaged, the list goes on and on. What’s worse is that when you do get a callback, be prepared to be put on hold and not hear the representative back...yeah that happened to us and we waited 4 HOURS before we gave up. When you finally get a response from When you received a response from Twitter message you sent, be prepared to wait...according to “Dianne”, she will follow up with me within 48-72 hours. We have waited for 13 days and now we are told that we are going to have to wait another 3 days. Giving a one star is too generous...it really should be 0.01 of a star. Good luck finding a human being that can help! UPDATE- With no luck reaching anyone to help us via Twitter, Facebook, phone, email, and messaging, we finally went to the store and of course we struck out again- the customer service desk created a case number for our issue and told that some with contact us in “48 hours”. We explained the situation and of course we got no sympathy, no apologies. The saga continues...I don’t what will convince anyone to not give business to this company.
Absolutely the worst experience ever!! My Furniture was scheduled to be delivered a couple days ago. I had to get out of work to go in the store and figure out why it did not get delivered and turns out they changed the date without notifying me. Then the next date it was supposed to be delivered also did not get delivered did not receive a call to be notified either. I have been calling the store for the past two days no one answers the phone ever. I had to call corporate they also could not get a hold of anyone in the store or the manager. Very unprofessional. Disgusted with this experience. Never again!!!
Horrible! They sell you furniture that they can't deliver. Now waiting 2 months for 1 lousey couch. Never again I could have built my own faster. Customer service is terrible and Zack is useless as a General Manager. Very disappointed

I bought merchandise two weeks ago I was told it would be delivered June 20th which never was I called the warehouse and spoke to a lady who told me she is trying to see if she was able to get it on the truck she would call me back in an hour or two I never received a call back . Monday I received a text to confirm delivery for June 24th which is today I responded with yes I got another confirmation to find out again today it wasn’t being delivered I called again spoke to a supervisor who was unable to give me any explanation as to why this is being cancelled again . She supposedly called out to delivery to find out why and no one was answering I explained to her how unprofessional this was that this is my second time being cancelled and no one knows why . She said that she would schedule me Friday this week I won’t get my hopes up because it’ll be cancelled again . Terrible customer service all for four items !!!

Very good selection to choose from, and the staff are friendly and helpful. More importantly they don't leave you hanging or try helping multiple customers at a time.
The worst experience ever unfortunately manager sales people with no knowledge no customer service at all and mistakes all the time I bought a whole bedroom set and the mattress king size the bed should have a boxspring and they said no. They done even know the merchandise they have. I went there and tje guy still saying you don't need a boxspring and the bedroom was there in the room and I showed him it has a boxspring then they want me to take one with a hole and pay for protection plan. That manager was so unprofessional and mean to me that I called corporate office they don't take responsibility for their's mistakes. Silly people

I am really at a loss. I've never had a good purchase/delivery experience with any Ashley Furniture. None. Non-existent. We ordered a couch and it was supposed to come with 4 pillows. Well it arrives and there are only three. I wish my wife had been smart enough to NOT SIGN for the delivery. Now we are stuck with only 3 of the accent pillows we were supposed to have. DO NOT SIGN IF IT IS NOT ALL THERE. YOU HAVE NO RECOURSE.
By far the worst Ashley Furniture location I have EVER been to. Two years ago they gave me the run around for months on a couch I attempted to purchase from them, with MULTIPLE failed deliveries. When coming in to speak of my concerns, they had a male manager who was extremely rude and belittled me in front of other customers. I spoke to his manager and for the multiple issues they gave me $150 in gift cards telling me how they never expire. Come to find out, I take these cards to the Tampa location yesterday as I do not want to go back to the Clearwater store and they tell me that Ashley Cash expires within a year and that they have had multiple people come to their location advising of issues at Clearwater!! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS LOCATION!!!
Ashley furniture literally is thee worst place to get funrtinue from. Our bed was damaged and luckily after going into the store we found a bed which was to be delivered. The sales person Alexis Lopez at this store promised us that the drivers would deliver and take the old bed and box springs. When they arrived they had no orders to do so. The warehouse rep was able to get in touch with the warranty company and they said due to covid (which how furniture would spread covid is beyond me) that they cannot pick up the bed or we should donate it. Who wants a broke bed?! What's the point of a warranty?! Literally no help whatsoever and now we have to figure out how and where to get rid of a huge king sized bed. Ashely furniture has the worst customer service. I posted it on my IG and people all over agreed and they still did not reach out after my DM. If i could give 0 stars I would.
Alex was a great help when I was trying to pick out a couch. I originally came in with the intent to get a sectional that could have a sleeper option; I moved down to Florida for college and stayed after finding a job here, but my family is from NY, so I was trying to find options for when they came to visit me in my one bedroom home. He helped find some I had scouted out online, directed me towards other options, but ultimately I decided not on a sectional but on a traditional sofa that was extra deep and a bit long, plus an ottoman. It works perfectly in my space! So incredibly comfy, and it came with a bunch of pillows too. My only complaint: when the sofa was delivered, there was several pulled threads on the couch cushions that needed to be trimmed, and the black mesh sheet on the bottom was peeling off. Alex did a wonderful job in store though, and the delivery guys used a couple screws to put the black sheet back on once I pointed it out to them.
