Horrible customer service. Promised to deliver everything in June and cancelled on me 3 times. we cannot get anyone to call us back to cancel the order. I would never recommend them to anyone.
We purchased furniture and it was delivered a little over a week ago. The customer service in store, by Dawn, was top notch. She was 5 stars. We had some issues with the furniture not being assembled properly so I got mad and deleted my very detailed review and now im bummed cuz Dawn has already rectified the situation and is sending a technician out. I do agree with some of these bad reviews that all seem to be delivery guy based, but ask for Dawn when you go in and u will for sure be in good hands no matter what!
Very poor customer service. Paid 149 for delivery and all they did was bring in couch, love seat, and dining table. 4 chairs and 4 living room tables arrived completely unassembled. I'm a 64 disabled women and can not put this furniture together so still sitting in the boxes. Don't recommend Ashley to anyone.
I worked with Alexis from the Clearwater store and she was FABULOUS! I previously visited both Pinellas Park and Tampa locations to switch the configuration of a sectional I ordered. Both Pinellas Park and Tampa locations said the sectional I ordered came in ONE configuration, however while Alexis juggled multiple customers she managed to check the inventory and found the configuration I was looking for. This small action on her part saved me from looking for an entire new sectional and I couldn't be more pleased to work with her!
Alexis was juggling 3 customers when she took the time to look up a piece of furniture other sales associates from different locations insisted they did not carry. Lo and behold, she was able to locate the furniture for us and went through the whole process of swapping it our order out from the other store. She was extremely patient, friendly, and a pleasure to have as our sales associate!
Horrible, terrible customer service. Purchased the Kisper queen upholstered bed. Is not worth the $469 I paid for it more like a $250 bed. Also, one reason I purchased it was the description said 84 inches long but it's actually 102 inches almost two feet longer than advertised. Wanted to return it for that reason and the quality and the tell me they have a NO return policy for any reason if purchased in store unless it is damaged. They said since you seen it in the store you knew what you were getting. I will never buy anything from Ashley again. Also they assembled the headboard upside-down so I had them fix it.
Extremely poor customer service. We had to wait for long time to be helped. Then someone finally comes over and said that items we wanted to purchase has the wrong tag. She called someone else and said customers usually change tags and cannot sell the items as wrong tag was on it. We asked to talked to a manager and she said manager is not there and we can wait for 30min and walked away. Then she showed us the items that match the tag and I said ok I am going to buy them, took forever and I have to carry myself the chairs because none one to help. I will not come back.
Not a good experience at all they sell you furniture that they do not have in stock and you will have to wait for two months to get it after they promised it within two weeks I will never shop there again
The purchase and delivery of the furniture was smooth and painless...unless you find a defect and need customer service to resolve the issue. This company will put you through nonexistent customer service hell- we called and left messages multiple times, tried messaging on their website multiple times, tried calling the local store but it led us to the same automated system hell, Facebook messaged, Twitter messaged, the list goes on and on. What’s worse is that when you do get a callback, be prepared to be put on hold and not hear the representative back...yeah that happened to us and we waited 4 HOURS before we gave up. When you finally get a response from When you received a response from Twitter message you sent, be prepared to wait...according to “Dianne”, she will follow up with me within 48-72 hours. We have waited for 13 days and now we are told that we are going to have to wait another 3 days. Giving a one star is too generous...it really should be 0.01 of a star. Good luck finding a human being that can help! UPDATE- With no luck reaching anyone to help us via Twitter, Facebook, phone, email, and messaging, we finally went to the store and of course we struck out again- the customer service desk created a case number for our issue and told that some with contact us in “48 hours”. We explained the situation and of course we got no sympathy, no apologies. The saga continues...I don’t what will convince anyone to not give business to this company.
Absolutely the worst experience ever!! My Furniture was scheduled to be delivered a couple days ago. I had to get out of work to go in the store and figure out why it did not get delivered and turns out they changed the date without notifying me. Then the next date it was supposed to be delivered also did not get delivered did not receive a call to be notified either. I have been calling the store for the past two days no one answers the phone ever. I had to call corporate they also could not get a hold of anyone in the store or the manager. Very unprofessional. Disgusted with this experience. Never again!!!
Horrible! They sell you furniture that they can't deliver. Now waiting 2 months for 1 lousey couch. Never again I could have built my own faster. Customer service is terrible and Zack is useless as a General Manager. Very disappointed
I bought merchandise two weeks ago I was told it would be delivered June 20th which never was I called the warehouse and spoke to a lady who told me she is trying to see if she was able to get it on the truck she would call me back in an hour or two I never received a call back . Monday I received a text to confirm delivery for June 24th which is today I responded with yes I got another confirmation to find out again today it wasn’t being delivered I called again spoke to a supervisor who was unable to give me any explanation as to why this is being cancelled again . She supposedly called out to delivery to find out why and no one was answering I explained to her how unprofessional this was that this is my second time being cancelled and no one knows why . She said that she would schedule me Friday this week I won’t get my hopes up because it’ll be cancelled again . Terrible customer service all for four items !!!
Very good selection to choose from, and the staff are friendly and helpful. More importantly they don't leave you hanging or try helping multiple customers at a time.
The worst experience ever unfortunately manager sales people with no knowledge no customer service at all and mistakes all the time I bought a whole bedroom set and the mattress king size the bed should have a boxspring and they said no. They done even know the merchandise they have. I went there and tje guy still saying you don't need a boxspring and the bedroom was there in the room and I showed him it has a boxspring then they want me to take one with a hole and pay for protection plan. That manager was so unprofessional and mean to me that I called corporate office they don't take responsibility for their's mistakes. Silly people

I am really at a loss. I've never had a good purchase/delivery experience with any Ashley Furniture. None. Non-existent. We ordered a couch and it was supposed to come with 4 pillows. Well it arrives and there are only three. I wish my wife had been smart enough to NOT SIGN for the delivery. Now we are stuck with only 3 of the accent pillows we were supposed to have. DO NOT SIGN IF IT IS NOT ALL THERE. YOU HAVE NO RECOURSE.
By far the worst Ashley Furniture location I have EVER been to. Two years ago they gave me the run around for months on a couch I attempted to purchase from them, with MULTIPLE failed deliveries. When coming in to speak of my concerns, they had a male manager who was extremely rude and belittled me in front of other customers. I spoke to his manager and for the multiple issues they gave me $150 in gift cards telling me how they never expire. Come to find out, I take these cards to the Tampa location yesterday as I do not want to go back to the Clearwater store and they tell me that Ashley Cash expires within a year and that they have had multiple people come to their location advising of issues at Clearwater!! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS LOCATION!!!
Same style open sales layout floor plan as the past century with fairly low price items. Good lighting and room for 6 ' apart.
I just left your Clearwater Florida location and I must say I am left completely disappointed, and frankly offended by the treatment and lack of customer service my husband and I experienced. Today we received our shipment of a new bedroom set. Soon after the delivery we realized we would definitely need an additional dresser to accommodate our clothing. I went online and was sad to see the earliest date of delivery would be July 9th. I attempted to call the store five times and was left on hold from 7-10 minutes each time before finally hanging up. We decided let’s head over to our closest location in hopes that we could possibly get the chest delivered sooner by ordering in store. We walked around for 10 minutes and no one asked if they could assist us. We saw Alexis who helped us with our last purchase (and was absolutely amazing, friendly, bubbly and very helpful) unfortunately she was with another couple. So we patiently waited until my husband finally tracked a salesperson down named Theresa who told us she would help after she finishes up with another customer. She approached us very dry, no smile or kind greeting. We already knew what we wanted and felt this should be an easy transaction. I told her I would be paying with my Ashley’s card and was told in a nasty tone “You know that has to be paid off in 12 months”. Seeing as how this was my 3rd purchase I’m well aware of how financing works. She was came across as inattentive and uncomfortable, almost as if we were a bother to her and she wasn’t making commission off of our sale. My husband was offended by her tone and told her “actually we’ll pay it in full instead of using the card” in which she responded “so you’re just going to charge it on a different card”. Her tone came across as condescending as if we were unable to afford the item. She then told us she needed approval for the price. We waited patiently and didn’t see any attempt in either her manager or her to respect our time. Finally my husband looked at me and said if we are going to order this she will not get the commission. When we stood to leave my husband told her “we appreciate your time but we are all good”. In which she made no attempt to stop us from leaving even with a promise that it wouldn’t be much longer. Maybe it was our complexion, maybe it was the fact that we were moving furniture and painting all day and came to the store in active wear, maybe she’s just a rude person and we just happened to fall victim of it. However this is not the first time we have felt discriminated against at this location. The last time we were there my husband attempted to seek out a salesperson and when one who was busy asked his colleague if he could help us he looked my husband up and down and shock his head no and walked away. My husband is a District Manager for a large coffee retailer and he was astonished by the salesperson’s lack of ability to create a positive customer experience especially for a returning customer.
Order delivered with damage and can't get a hold of anyone to get the pieces replaced. Have left 3 voicemails with 48-96 hour call back time frames every 96 hours. Need someone to make this right. Has nothing to do with this specific store, ordered online, but will be posting this to every store until I get a response.
