My husband and I had a very pleasant experience with staff and managers. They helped with decision and availability which made our purchase a breeze.
My sales associate was Alexis, she greeted me at the front of the store and was extremely helpful. I was looking for a specific dresser . We couldn’t find the dresser on display, so she went online and was able to order it and get me a better price. Alexis has such great energy and personality, she made my shopping experience perfect. I am sure the in-store experience is definitely a lot better than what I’ve dealt with online, however I’m compelled to leave this review. During the start of the pandemic I ordered a reasonably priced desk online which was delivered timely. Unfortunately while putting the desk together, the cheaply made materials resulted in 2 broken pieces. I promptly emailed firstname.lastname@example.org which was the communication method recommended (since the phone wait times were so high). 9 days later I finally received a reply to “submit photos of the damage for a refund”. So I complied and emailed the photos of the damaged pieces. I never heard back so 2 weeks later emailed again for status of refund and if we should return parts to a local store. Unfortunately I received an auto generated reply that the ecustomercare email was no longer in service and to send a message online at the website. I submitted a message online requesting help on 5/06/20. To date I have no reply from the company. Sorry to say I’ll never be shopping with this company again in the future. I should have learned the first time I had issues with Ashley furniture but I ordered again. Placed an online ordered for mattress, frame, and headboard. The headboard came missing a the hardware. I emailed customer service Friday (3 days ago) and no reply. Did their messaging app and was told 3 hours ago they would connect me to an agent (still waiting). Last resort I call, twice, both times I sat on hold for 20 minutes. Failing customer service at its finest.
I purchased a sectional sofa that was delivered 12/1/2019. They delivered the couch and dropped the sofa through my front picture window. I took pictures and called them first thing in the morning. I was assured this would be taken care of. I spent many days getting estimates for windows. I sent the estimates (the most inexpensive) to their “delivery insurance person” Michelle Martinez along with the pictures. She is no longer answering to her phone and my window has not been replaced. Living alone as a single female I felt unsafe and called the store manager Lawrence White. He assured me this would be absolutely taken care of. The last written reply from anyone was “hasn’t the insurance adjuster called you back”. I told her no and no one is answering or helping me. I have now had to pay out of pocket $1900 to Lowes and have my windows replaces for my own safety.
No customer service. Just terrible!!
YOU RUINED MY MOVE IN DAY!! I have been to your store at least 5 times and ordered multiple items from you!, thousands of dollars have been paid to your company. I RECEIVED MULTIPLE CONFIRMATIONS THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE DELIVERED ON THE SAME DAY!!! NOT ONLY DID I NOT RECEIVE MY COUCH OR BED FRAME BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER SCHEDULED TO BE DELIVERED EVEN THOUGH I HAVE ABOUT 4 SHEETS OF PAPER FROM YOUR STORE CONFIRMING EVERYTHING YOURE CONTACT CENTER IS COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT! Your company ruined what was suppose to be a good day, I wish I never wasted a single dime on your furniture. You’re the absolute worst.
I am really on the fence with Ashley right now. It took 3 deliveries and a service call before all the items made it to my house a month after the first delivery date.The first delivery team was a nightmare!!! The 2nd and 3rd were better. After several lengthy phone calls i was finally told "I am so sorry you had that experience and someone will be in contact to help with some compensation for the issue's " that call never happened. And now 1 month after i got all of my pieces the handles are braking... this is not what i thought Ashley stood for. I am very disapointed in a company that i once called the top of the service industry . This experiance makes me regret ever buying 2 bedroom sets from Ashley.
The worst customer service we have ever experienced. They don't care about you once they have your money, they accept no responsibility for their poor quality furniture and the manager hid from me when I went to the store to discuss a refund. You'll be sorry if you ever purchase anything from this location in Clearwater, Florida.
I’m very happy with my bedroom set which I purchased today. I’m waiting for the delivery in 3 days to complete my extraordinaire Ashley Home Experience. We had the great opportunity to meet Nancy Collins, Furniture Decor Consultant who guided us and informed us throughout the process. Nancy’s patience and knowledge about the products make her an excellent asset to your Clearwater Store. I’ll recommend Ashley Furniture Store to my family and friends. I also want to mention the help from the store manager Gilberto Torres who was instrumental for us in getting our bedroom set from Ashley’s instead of going to a different store.
Wonderful! Had a bad experience at the store in port richey. Came to the Clearwater location and had the best experience with Jass! She was so helpful and answered all our questions! We left with ordered furniture and smiles!

This is the second Furniture purchase that my wife and I have made with salesperson Amy Homsey. It’s a joy dealing with her. She is knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with. We will continue shopping at Ashley and definitely ask for Amy again.
