Horrible experience at this store. They basically won't give me a refund for items that were purchased and arrived damaged. I contacted customer service several times without success, until I went to the store and spoke with Adriana Ulles, the saleswoman and she helped to access CS. Since 20022 3 DIFFERENT TECHNICIANS went to my house and DID NOT FIX THE SOFA. Now August 2023, they send a RECALL ABOUT PROBLEMS I'VE BEEN REPORTING SINCE A YEAR AGO AND NOBODY FIXED. I called the Recall number and they did not help, I called Ashley Furniture CS more that 10 times in the last months until I could finally talk with warranty person Crispin Daza, who sent me an e-mail requesting pics and I did send and never heard back from him. Finally got them to remove the misrepresented sofa, sleeper, and the delivery man damaged my dehumidifier is they took the furniture out… and now I’m fighting for my full refund. They want to subtract an amount from the refund for restocking… THEIR mistake not ours!!! I feel reasonably certain this is going to claims court.

Went into Ashley furniture for the first time today and had a great experience things to Bryce Powers, one of the sales associate. He was able to get us a bang for our buck. Extremely helpful knowledgeable, and was able to work with us and our accommodations. Definitely coming back to complete the rest of our house.

I’ve purchased a few items in store and a few online. My recommendation is to purchase in store. Bryce was great to work with and in my opinion when items are purchased in store they seem to be better quality with less issues.

UPDATE : we are now in October and I still have not received the furniture I purchased in June nor will anyone answer my text or calls. These polite apologetic messages about emailing them are strictly to make them appear as if this is abnormal. Once on the phone with them they basically tell you too bad and offer you fifty dollars to go away. Which I refused to accept. I would at this point like a refund.ORIGINAL postI purchased a couch and love seat from this store In June. My sales rep was a city furniture sales rep but the stores are connected. I was told delivery would be mid to late July. I received the love seat in August no couch arrived. After having to call I was told the couch was malfunctioning and a new one would arrive in September. I am now being told that I am number three on the list and it will be November. How did I go from your couch had a malfunction to number three on a list. The sales rep gave me their cell phone number and that is the only person that tries to help/stall me, to no avail.In the mean time my living room is a hodgepodge of furniture and the store is continuing to sell furniture they have no access to. I believe the sales reps are commission based and know if they tell you delivery is six months to a year out they would lose customers. In the mean time Ashley Furniture took my payment in full and has not provided me with the furniture in full.I can not recommend anyone going through this. Save yourself the aggravation. Go to another store And hope they are honest about delivery dates. The store phone numbers are designed to give you a run around and Ring forever with no one answering them.

My spouse and I were there on 8 27/22. We just wanted to look around only and Ms Jessica Bennett took us under her directive. She worked so hard to get us to buy something (and we almost did) but we could not at the moment. On two separate occasions in the months of April and June l visited the Ashley furniture store (in Cutler Bay, Florida)with every intention to purchase items. On both occasions the only person to say any thing to me was the door greeter. I walked around the store at least 45 mins both times looking for table lamps and accessories. Each times the associates walked passed me without a simple hello. On my last visit I pointed out to them how unprofessional they were. I found the items l wanted, my conscience would not allow me to buy them. Please do not spend your hard earned money in a business whose employees do not value you as a customer. Your money is helping to pay their salaries.

Ashley furniture is the worst place ever. I moved from Miami to Kansas for job reasons. On April 10th 2022 I purchased due to promise it will be there by the time I move. I even picked items I settled for due to them lying telling me if I pick items of high inventory I shall receive it in time. It is now May 15th and when I tried to cancel they all of a sudden tell me the truck just picked up the items so it can no longer be canceled. Not only that, they lied completely to me. Now it will take 3-6 more week additional on top of waiting over a month for my furniture. I been stuck sleeping on the floor since April 12th since I do not have money to afford furniture due to them promising me my furniture so I got the credit card cause of it. Now I owe over $3000 and I don’t have not even a bed to sleep in. I am so frustrated and upset. I can’t keep sleeping on the floor honestly I have back issues and health. The sales rep lied, the manager told me she will give me credit due to the inconvenience and nothing was changed. It looked like she tried to stall me canceling just so the truck can pick up the items so it would not be cancelled and stuck me with waiting another 3-6 more weeks. I hope any customers who see this please do not ever shop at Ashley Furniture store they are complete liars. They would rather have me sleep on the floor and lie for their own commission

I had a terrible experience with the cutler bay Ashley Furniture Store. The salesman wasn’t truthful about my delivery. He stated, a time line in which the furniture will be shipped and nevertheless a delivery date haven’t been provided. It’s been over a month and they blame it on the third party shipping and the shipping company blame Ashley Furniture. When I spoke with the salesman regarding canceling my order the salesman stated it was too late. I ask to speak with the store manager who was rude and very unprofessional. He didn’t offer any solutions nor did he refund me for my shipping inconvenience. After, all the turmoil and stress I’m already dealing with Ashley sent me a bill and expect payment, but I have no furniture and they have no ideal when the furniture is coming. I wouldn’t advise anyone to purchase furniture from them. I’m highly disappointed and I will never purchase from them again. The inventory is over price and the shipping is over price. The store is a reflection of the poor management and lack of customer service.

I was happy in the beginning as when I went, I was helped immediately and found a lovely sofa. I was told my sofa would arrive on October 27, 2021 and that if this should change, I would receive a call. October 26th came and went so I assumed I would be receiving my sofa on October 27th. I called to confirm and no one answered and I was sent to voicemail. Prior to being connected to the store, there is a message that says I can check the order status online. I check the order status and it now says 11/18. So not only did I NOT receive a call advising of this delay but no one at the store answers the phone or even reached out to me to advise this. I am now extremely unhappy as I now need to head to the store to see what is going on and possibly cancel my order.

No .. because I have been waiting for my bedroom set for almost three months. Every timer hat I want to talk to customer service I have to wait about 45 minutes o more. Then I received part of my bedroom set and they can even put together because screws where missing. Home service ( deliveries) really bad. They do not deliver in Ashley or City furniture. It Is a rental truck and the people who does the delivery are I an hurry .. bad bad job.

I'm going to start off by saying Ashley Furniture has done a great job curating the Yelp reviews on here, as I see they and their sister store City Furniture have 10x the raving reviews of any other furniture store in the area. My story starts 2 months ago, with the purchase of a dining table complete with chairs and a bench. The correct table in acceptable condition was delivered along with the bench on the scheduled day. At the store we were told delivery for the chairs would take some additional time, but would arrive on September 1st. That was 5 weeks from date of purchase, but I was okay with the wait as the PAYOFF should be my butt seated comfortably in my chairs after the long wait. The day of delivery arrives (a day I took off of work by the way) and we don't get so much as a call to inform us that the chairs have been delayed. Now here's where it really gets bad. IF you're one of the lucky ones who received their furniture the day it's promised, you'd never take a guess at how absolutely awful Ashley Furniture's customer service is. After speaking to 3 customer service representatives, I am escalated to a manager. I spoke clearly with the 3 representatives before him, and he tells me he can't hear me. I can hear him clearly, in fact I can hear people talking BEHIND him. Anyways after waiting nearly an hour to speak to management he pretends the reception is bad and hangs up the phone, didn't even call back as a courtesy. Now my bf was also on the phone with a representative, somehow they tell him the chairs won't be available until the YEAR 2039. Yet no one said that to me? Does that make any sense, or is it an example of how they'll come up with any excuse as to why your order wasn't delivered? Fed up, I call the store. Now the associates are only good at one thing: selling. Don't try asking them about anything remotely related to your delivery because they won't ever give you a straight answer. I'm told the 2039 delivery date is ridiculous, and now they reassure us the chairs will be delivered September 24th. Okay, nearly a month from our original delivery date, but I'm an understanding person and can deal with that, right? Well, my boyfriend calls the store last Friday to confirm that delivery date a week before, and now he's been told their are 4 other customers who purchased the same chairs ahead of us, and they only receive one shipment of chairs per month, and must deliver them in the order in which they're sold. Now is this true or am I being sold another bogus story? There are many similar experiences with Ashley Furniture being shared on Reddit, and I implore that you do proper research and that your furniture is being ethically and locally sourced so you can avoid many months of inconvenience waiting for your purchase. Did I mention my PAID warranty on this item isn't getting any younger and I've effectively lost time to be able to use BOTH of the warranty? So as it stands, the delivery date is nonexistent. But, my girlfriend answered the door for the delivery and said the two delivery men made her feel uncomfortable taking our delivery in. On top of that, our TV stand came in beat up, missing pieces of the frame, uneven and poorly assembled shelves, the back piece that encloses the shelving was punched in and heavily damaged, as well as some scarred screw holes from missing hardware. Luckily, I'd purchased insurance protection for the item, so it's no big deal in the end, but we'd just moved here, and were watching TV off totes until our TV stand came in. So it was pretty disappointing opening up the box to finding a mangled unit inside. I finally just decided to call the Cutler Bay location and spoke to Naushad who was so very helpful. I missed my delivery on Friday because I was in the backyard and even though I called and requested a redelivery, they gave the piece to a different customer and now I have to wait yet another month to receive it. I made this purchase 6/30/20. This is ridiculous.

Bought a chocolate leather couch under 6 years ago and immediately the dark color started wearing off. We thought it was our 17lb Havanese dog so we let it be. After a few more months we noticed it was coming off everywhere. Its like it was painted by a child with water colors. The leather underneath still looks good but the staining horrible for what i paid for. Just in time to be out of warrentee. Be careful with their leather. This pic is only a section, its everywhere. What a waste of money.

The customer service was very poor, we went through the store complete and nobody approached until when asked for the Manager the store and associate apologized first and give us an excuse for short staff but and least someone said “hi”. but my disappointment the associate was very in a hurry to finish with us. I wish I could give them zero stars. We went by the store and the items that we wanted didn’t have a price on them. They finally gave us a price and we were scheduled to receive the delivery on the 7th of August; when we received it the item was completely destroyed and we had to send it back. The door was hanging and the frame was broken. The sales man advised me they don’t have any more in stock but he was finding out if they could sell me the floor sample. Time went by and I didn’t get a response so I called and told him to cancel the order and he said he will. I don’t get any confirmations and letter that day I get a call from the warehouse telling me that they could deliver one by the next Tuesday and I said ok. Monday comes by and I didn’t get a confirmation for delivery so I called and I was told they didn’t have in stock and they special order, so at that time I had no choice but to cancel the order and I wasted about 2 weeks in this process.

I’m not a fan of buying from big box stores but the folks over at the cutler bay Ashley Furniture/City Furniture have make you feel like you just walked into mom/pop shop. A1 customer service. Justin, Marcelo, and Sayid the GM all tailor your visit to your needs. They have a wealth of information and don’t mind the questions. They’re never disappointed. I’ve been going there for almost 10 years now.

Ashley furniture environment was safe and friendly...it was a pleasure shopping there!

So during Covid my husband I decided to get a dinnet set, we had previously seen it in the store in Doral. We decided to go to the store on US1 in Kendal for the ride. Everything went well with the purchase when they deliver the table and chair, they delivered the wrong size table. I had to then argue with the manager for them to pick up the wrong table and bring me the right one in a decent time frame. It took two days and that was with me following up everyday. You would think the sales person would have called to apologize, nothing crickets.

ashley home store is the worst! i ordered a living room set in may and was told it was backordered and wouldn&'t be delivered until july. last night i received the confirmaton text that my order would be delivered today. this morning, in preparation for the delivery, i removed my old living room furniture from the house and placed it in the driveway to clear space for the deliverymen. the delivery truck arrived with only a single ottoman, not the chaise, and not the sofa. i called customer service and was told that those 2 pieces will be delivered august 20th. meanwhile it has rained all day and so my existing furniture that i had taken outside is trashed and not salvagable. the 2 customer service reps i spoke to basically told me that i&'m out of luck and they will not compensate me in any way. so i am stuck with a single ottoman and no where for my family to sit for 4 weeks during this pandemic. this is a despicable way to treat a customer. never again will i shop at this awful place.

I had been web shopping but went to the store because of a promo that was sent to my email. I picked out three sofas from the ad and decided to go look at them. None of the three were available in the store though they offered to order anything that I wanted. I hesitated on that because they didn't have swatches for the colors of the furniture. I ended up buying a different sofa, and got a good deal, but now I'm not so sure about the purchase...I'm feeling alittle "bait and switched".

I recently purchased something from Ashley the salesman was nice but the couch we purchased is not the same couch that we had in the store when my delivery came I was not happy with the purchase I&'ve called several times they refer me to the warranty department not happy and want to return the couch but they say that the warranty department has to come out first is there anyway of getting a new couch not happy with the customer service would like to return the couch I have not had it for 30 days. I&'ve also paid a lot of money for this furniture as well. I also called the day of delivery as well.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT order from this company or their owner city furniture. Yes they are very nice in the store when you’re buying but if you run into any issues upon delivery it is an absolute nightmare to correct. I have never experienced such terrible customer service before. UPDATE: the social media team reached out to us and was very helpful with trying to resolve the issue. They worked to send out a replacement piece for the defected piece of our new sofa...twice. Luckily they would follow up with phone calls so we didn’t have to go through the regular channels. Unfortunately each piece they sent had issues with it. They offered us a third replacement but we finally decided to stop getting replacement pieces and they offered us a portioned refund.

Disappointing! I ordered my furniture in November, it is now mid-February and still nothing to show for my purchase! Once I wrote a bad review, I feel like a push for my furniture was made when prior to I couldn’t even get any updates! I am also switched and transferred to everyone in the store, because the managers refuse to speak with me. I had the staff update my address information for the furniture to be shipped to me, and that was not even done properly! I called the store 18 times to get my address updated again, and literally the phone was never answered. I then called customer service and after being on hold for 30minutes, was told my address cannot be updated at the time and would have to continue to wait! Hopefully I will one day see what I’ve paid for!
