Good service - not a fan of the cushion on the couches and they are pretty much all the same. Other furniture is nice - I enjoy my TV stand

Cannot speak for the Davenport store but I am extremely disappointed in the Lakeland store and they did themselves a huge injustice by messing up my order. As somebody in home sales I could have easily brought in multiple customers and sales for them but they screwed up. I will never ever buy any furniture from Ashley again nor will I refer them.
Super nice folks, no pressure sales and do everything they can to make it easy to buy. Definitely will buy from them again.
Found what we were looking for and then some. Hopefully delivery is better than last times 1 AM delivery.
On 7/14/19 I bought a new bedroom set (headboard, footboard, rails, large dresser, and two nightstands - all for about $2k) from this Ashley Furniture Davenport location. It was delivered one week later. I upgraded to the supreme delivery service (whatever they call it, for $200 they will bring everything in, assemble, and arrange it in the room). The delivery men were awful. They hardly said two words to me the whole time and they left my front door open for an hour straight; no matter how many times I got up to shut it they would find another reason to go back out and leave it standing wide open (even after everything was carried inside!). They never made any attempt to be polite or civil. That's fine though, I just sat on the couch and kept out of their way. After about an hour, they were done assembling and started taking boxes outside to break down and put in the dumpster. During this time I go in to my bedroom to check how everything turned out. The first thing I notice is that the furniture doesn't fit in the room the way they set it up. That's my fault for not measuring, but the guy could have said something like, "hey if we put the bed and nightstands on this wall, then your bathroom door won't open - is that ok?", to which I would have said "nah that's not gonna work let's do it on the other wall". That obviously didn't happen so I've had to move things around by myself. Besides that, there were several small dings and imperfections in the furniture, which is disappointing but probably something I would have to live with no matter where it came from. Even worse, the nightstands both wobble and are uneven, and the drawers on the dresser don't slide out easily like they did in the showroom (they don't even seem to push in all the way; it's like the tracks are not installed properly). I was waiting for the delivery men to come back inside so I could point this stuff out but I never got the chance. While I was inside inspecting the furniture and waiting for them, they finished breaking down the boxes (and left a huge amount of garbage and debris in the yard that I had to go clean up) and then got in their truck and left. They never said they were leaving, never had me sign for anything (I'm 100% certain they are supposed to, so they must have faked my signature, which sounds absurd even to me), didn't ask if I was okay with everything, nothing. Not that it matters, but as unhappy as I was, I still had money out to tip them and couldn't even do that. The guy even left his open box cutter on my floor along with tons of trash (small pieces that they didn't want to be bothered with picking up). When I got a follow up call about the delivery an hour later I conveyed all this to the customer service rep. She then scheduled me for a technician to come out FOUR WEEKS LATER to check the drawers and nightstands. As of today 7/28/19, I'm still waiting to be able to use my $2,000 furniture (what's the point in putting everything in the dresser if I'll just have to take it out again so they can fix the drawers?) and will have to deal with another Ashley Furniture representative coming in to my home and probably treating me like I am an inconvenience to them. I'm really disappointed in the whole experience and wish I would have spent a little more money and bought everything at a nicer store where I might be treated with respect.
Very disappointing on the service and the miss information. I spent over $13,000 in this store. Not only are they happy to take my money but they make it appoint to add all the insurance on your furniture, but when you need them to come and fix something that they messed up in the first place no one knows who/how to have someone come and fix it. After spending $13,000 cash I went back bought additional furniture. Was told by the sales representative mash I could have it returned if I was not happy with my order. I get home after working all night and see the stools at my counter are too high. So high you hit your knees on my counter top. I call and the first thing I get told is once we deliver WE DO NOT RETURN!!!!! After speaking with a manger and the sales rep mash I was told there was nothing that can be done, and that they can not have anyone come to my home to pick up the merchandise, and so my husband and I decided to tell them how about we drive to Tampa and bring them to your warehouse and pick up the right size stools?, and of course that was the best in the world right????!? I THINK NOT after a long night at work my husband goes to return/exchange and brings them home.10am Tuesday. which I was happy with because at least now I have stools that fit.. . THIS IS THE BEST PART I get a call from Ashley’s dispatcher at 5pm that the truck is outside of my house to pick up the merchandise they said could not be picked up once it was delivered!! Very disappointing I would not recommend anyone to this store location. I also recommend doing research before you purchase from them. This also happened to my mother where she purchased a piece of furniture. Got the text message they will deliver and time frame they will arrive. Guess what they never showed up. Happened to be the store sales representative lost her paper work. Smh. This store needs to have a store meeting and get all of the workers to understand the importance of their jobs when it comes to customer service and misleading clients. I love Ashely’s furniture I alway’s have after this I will never step foot in another Ashley’s. THANK YOU FOR LEAVING A BAD TASTE!!! NEVER AGAIN.
This was my first and last Ashley Homestore experience! Yes the instore experience was amazing but after that you can forget about it. Out of the 6 items we bought we had issues with 2. Paying such a premium price there shouldn't be any issues to start with, but we are going on 4 weeks of waiting for a "technician" to come out before they can do anything! One of the items is probably a simple fix, but the other has a piece broken off and should have been replaced IMMEDIATELY upon notification!!!! We've talked to "customer care" 1 time each week and it's always at least an hour wait just to get someone on the phone. I'm also starting to wonder if there is even a store manager here as we have gone back twice to talk to someone and they never seem to be there. Also, their products are made in Vietnam, not the USA. Long story short... If you expect customer service I would shop elsewhere.
I was looking for a small sofa for my son’s game room and found the perfect one there, and it was on sale too! It is the perfect size and very comfortable.
In store price was higher than online price for the child’s bedroom we were looking at. Manager honored price. We did not get good customer service in store. We were being rushed so that our salesperson could attend to a repeat customer that had just walked in. We planned for a Saturday delivery and upon receiving notification of the delivery it was scheduled for Sunday instead. Tried to correct this and received nothing but rude customer service from in store person. Tried to reach store management but non were ever in store over the three times we called. We will never shop Ashley Furniture again.
Great experience from sales to delivery. Very pleased with the furniture and the men who assembled and delivered our furniture couldn’t have been any nicer. Will buy from Ashley in the future.
