We are stuck with a terrible couch! Don’t buy from Ashley Store, go anywhere else, you’ll be glad you did! Absolutely no returns once delivered and I wasn't home. Very unAmerican. When we sat on the couch in the showroom, it felt comfortable, inviting, and exactly what we wanted in our home. But the moment the delivery arrived, that vision collapsed. The couch we received was not the same couch we chose—it looked similar at a glance, but everything about the experience of it was wrong. Instead of a clean, fresh piece, it arrived with stains already on the fabric. The material itself doesn’t even feel like the one in the showroom—it’s rougher, cheaper, and underneath every cushion there’s a layer of plastic that crinkles loudly with every move, shattering any sense of comfort or relaxation. Imagine sitting down to unwind, only to hear a noisy crunch beneath you. The pillows don’t fit right, either—awkward gaps in some places, uneven bulges in others—constantly reminding you that something isn’t as it should be. The moment I saw it in my living room, my gut screamed, “Return it.” But here’s the catch: once it’s delivered, you can’t return it. They’ve locked you in. When I called customer service, hoping for a solution, I was told flatly that nothing could be done. The feeling? Helpless. Trapped. Taken advantage of. If you’re considering buying a couch here, please take this as a warning: be very, very careful. What you see in the showroom may not be what you end up living with. I deeply regret this purchase and sincerely wish I had never trusted City Furniture.

Edward, my sales representative, helped me on two separate occasions. I didn’t fully understand every component required for the type of mattress, adjustable base, and bed including headboard and foot board I needed. I had to leave and come back a second time for him to explain it to me again. It helped tremendously. He thoroughly explained it all to me. And I’m happy with my purchase.

Had an awesome couch shopping experience with Edward who was super patient with us and the million questions that we had asked. Went over 10 different configurations for a modular couch. He was also patient with our hyperactive daughter. He gave us enough room to look around without feeling like we were being stalked, but definitely made sure that he was available when we had questions. I am dissatisfied with my recent experience at your Davie location on June 23, 2025. I visited the store to utilize a refund coupon for an unused warranty and selected the DS BREANA GLASS ROUND VASE (invoice 575967/34) priced at $79.99. I had no issue covering the additional $14.99 for the vase, however, upon reviewing the receipt I received via email, I noticed a charge of $10.40 for a 3-year in-home warranty plan. I want to clarify that I did not request this warranty and was not informed I would be charged for it. This situation feels unacceptable and unfair, as I have no need for a warranty on a vase. The paperwork provided with the order states that I need to return to the store to cancel this charge, which is quite inconvenient—I now have to drive 20 miles just to address a charge I was unaware of in the first place. I believe it should be standard practice to confirm with customers whether they want an additional warranty before adding it to the transaction. This lack of communication has left me frustrated, and I expect better transparency in your sales processes. GVW

I’ve been an Ashley customer for many years and furnished 80% of my home with them. I had recently posted a bad review because an item did not meet my expectation. As I said before, I have purchased from Ashley several times and have always been 100% satisfied. So I was very unpleasantly surprised when this one item was not correct. The manager contacted me and made a great effort to make sure I was satisfied. I even heard from other staff to make sure I was happy with my purchase. We had a terrible, frustrating experience with Ashley and would never attempt to do business with this company and especially this location in Davie again. We purchased a new home in central Florida and were looking to buy all new furniture. Our realtor provided us a City Furniture $250 card to use. We walked all through City Furniture and didn't see anything we liked. We found out that Ashley and City were partners or co-owned or whatever so that $250 card would work for Ashley. We scanned the QR code, it asks you to enter in your name and email and in fine print you agree to being spammed for the rest of your life by this promotional card. We were told that there would be an approval and that we would be contacted by a sales associate (within two days). We went to Ashley and we found a sofa bed and we looked to have the credit applied to that order. We were told by the Ashley rep to pay at least the taxes to keep the order processing, we did that, we then went to City and paid the entire balance minus the $250 and then we got a notice that our order was cancelled 2 days before delivery. City is pointing at Ashley to blame them, Ashley is pointing to City AND Ashley is pointing at us. We had the rudest encounter with the manager at Ashley just in the last hour. He is asking why we would give the card to City (because they took it) - he needs to see the card, we explained and demonstrated the process to get the $250 approved. We told him who at City had taken the card, the manager at Ashley was a complete, unprofessional jerk. He told me the City guy would be back in the office tomorrow 12:30 and maybe he knows where he put the card. Anyways - enough with the soap opera we demanded a refund, the manager eventually refunded our paid balance and then turned his back on us. No apology for the terrible treatment, no acknowledgement that the process is flawed. Beware, do not try to do anything with a $250 "gift card" at Ashley OR at City it is nothing but a mess and I suggest Ashley review their staff, their process with City, their customer service, and I hope they learn how to provide customer service. We got our refund so I gave them the second star for that or else this would have been a passionate 1 star dissection
David at the Davie Store went above and beyond to order me a missing piece of a wall unit I had purchased in another Ashley Store. He was terrific and gave me a very good impression of Ashley Furniture Company. Thank you very much.

Like I promised the update: delivery finally done( after they went to a different house, when I confirmed the address at least 4 times via phone and text messages). My home claim still hasn’t been resolved , between pictures, proof of receipts and calls since may 9th, still waiting for a resolution that fits our needs. Takes a lot for this company to take responsibility for their actions. Don't spend the money here, they rush unnecessarily during installation and broke my outdoor lamp also scratched my wall even when is plenty space and they also broke a piece of my crown molding over my entrance ( also with plenty space and was wide open to avoid any difficulties. If this is not enough, 1 of the pieces of the bed came in broken and customer service gives no indication of care. Still waiting for a callback with a resolution.

Ramon was very helpful in our search of looking for a king size mattress. Customer service was definitely given to us upon arrival. He helped us find a mattress within our price range and we were able to try a bunch of mattresses and he gave a lot of feedback on what would be the best suitable one for us to purchase. The purchasing part was easy, he went over all the warranty and details about the delivery of our mattress and we were basically in and out within the hour. Overall a wonderful experience for us. I would also give a shoutout to Sandra who helped us with the payment of our new mattress.

And all of the sudden we are buying a sofa ottoman and over sized chair, but wait we even bought our dinning table!!! Not again going there Arianna now her work!! Love it!!! We had a great experience at Ashley Furniture. We walked in about 30 minutes before closing and were greeted right away by the store manager. They told us to take our time and that a salesperson would check in with us shortly—no pressure, no one hovering or making us feel rushed. Dave was the one who helped us. He created a profile for us and added the furniture sets we liked, making it super easy to compare them later. He even offered to bring over a drawer from one set so we could match the colors better. We came back the next night to finalize our purchase, and Dave was just as friendly and helpful as before. Absolutely LOVE the set we decided on!!! We’re so excited to receive it and even better, it’ll only take a few days for delivery, not months like some other places. Overall, a really smooth, easy, and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!

This review is of my buying experience at Ashley, we have not received the products yet. My wife and I came in with our daughters close to closing this evening and we were welcomed by Sandra Z. In other retail stores we’d have received the typical eye roll of last minute customers, especially with kids, but not from Sandra. She was very welcoming and super helpful in guiding us to find barstools. Despite my kids running around to try out each chair, bed, sofa, and ottoman, she was always pleasant and focused on helping us find the right barstools. Ultimately we were able to find something we had not seen online and under budget, which is great as we’re also on the market for a new sofa for our house. We’ll be back for sure and eager to work with Sandra on our next visit. I’m confident the product will be good as we’ve been using a bedroom furniture set from them for almost 10 years. If you come to Ashley, ask for Sandra - she’s great!

We meet the the manager Mike a super nice guy. Update to my review amd why it dropped to 1 star. My delivery driver arrived 3 hours lates. My sales person order the sectional with pieces on the wrong side. So I returned the order. My sales person reddy order correctly but they couldn't schedule my delivery for the next day for inconvenience. They scheduled it fot 4 days later because they don't deliver Mondays nor Sunday (that's Crazy!!) I called several times to customer service and was transferred to Tarif in the escalation department that said there was nothing he can do. I called back to see if there were any cancelations for the next day and he would not take the call. First he was at break later he said he wasn't available. I spoke to someone else and Max and he said there was nothing he can do either. I am stuck with 4 days our for delivery. No accomodation for my inconvenience. Update: furniture was delivered on time and the plate that covers the control for the recliner came broken. The delivery person took a picture and said they closed submit a claim and he didn't. He just sent the picture of the sofa delivered.

I had a great experience shopping at Ashley Furniture store in Davie. I was greeted by Dave Uguccioni, who took the time to hear me out on what I was shopping for. I was looking for a queen size mattress and box set with a frame, and I expressed my budget to Dave, not only was he able to assist me finding the product he also made recommendations that would fulfill my budget. Dave was able to recommend to me the mattress and a queen size frame that did not require a box spring that stood at least 14 inches from the floor which was perfect for under the bed storage. My purchase was cost-effective and a $100 under my original budget. I highly recommend shopping at Ashley Furniture store for any of your home furnishings. Dave and the showroom staff were very polite and I felt very hassle-free when I walked in which was a very pleasant experience for me.

We bought a Sectional and 3 tables and after looking prices online prices where at half, asked to the manager Michael to price match, he did agree and after two weeks after calling daily to Valentino who was the sales rep to get the new receipt, never got a response and then they just said they will have to cancel the whole order.

We were shopping for dining chairs. Overall, the selection was great, and the price was right. We had excellent customer service during the purchase; no complaints whatsoever. Delivery was a different experience, though. The truck came more than an hour earlier than scheduled, and I was lucky I was back home. After they left, I checked the chairs, and one was chipped/dented from transportation. I immediately filed a claim, but instead of a replacement, I had to wait a week before someone tried fixing it. The result was just fair, not perfect, and we can tell where the defect was. I did buy damage insurance, but that was supposed to be used if something happened during use -- receiving a defective product "out of the box" (and having to get something fixed that you had nothing to do with) should never be the case.
Absolutely the worse service. We have not received furniture that we ordered in October. We are still waiting for furniture to come. Every time we call, they are not helpful. We have struggled so much. We are waiting on drawers to come in. We have been living off luggage waiting for them to come in and they still have yet to come. Ashley furniture is horrible. Do not shop there.

I recently purchased a chest drawer from Ashley Furniture and was heavily encouraged by the salesperson to buy their "Reguard" 5-year protection plan. They went on and on about how essential it was to "protect my investment," making it sound like a no-brainer. But after dealing with them, I can confidently say – save your money and don’t fall for this scam. When I started having issues with the drawers on my chest, I thought, “No problem, I have a warranty!” But actually getting help was a nightmare. They made me jump through endless hoops: taking countless photos, recording videos, only for them to argue that the issue wasn’t covered. Getting anyone on the phone was like pulling teeth – long holds, transfers, rude service, and a customer service experience that felt more like dealing with a towing company than a high-end furniture store. And when I finally had enough and tried to cancel the service, I was sent to another department and placed on an endless hold. It’s obvious they are hoping you’ll just give up. Ashley Furniture, if you’re reading this, do better. Stop selling customers on a service you have no intention of honoring. For anyone reading, save yourself the headache and skip the warranty. It’s not worth the frustration.

This is my experience with purchasing an ottoman in April 2024 and how Ashley lost me as a customer. After four months, the foam shifted to one side, as shown in the picture, so I filed a warranty claim. I didn’t buy the extended warranty or in-home service because I didn’t think it was necessary for an ottoman. To file a warranty claim, you have to go through their website. A few days later, they call to verify the pictures you uploaded and see if they can process the claim. But wait, they need to send someone from their company to check if the item qualifies for warranty. They charge $50 for this “service,” which is non-refundable. This “service” involves someone coming to your house, inspecting the product, and validating the defects. After an hour, Customer Service calls to inform you that the warranty doesn’t cover “some items” of the product, even though the inspector confirmed it was defective. I didn’t want to waste my time arguing with them, as I value my time more than dealing with customer service. What I learned from this: 1. I will never buy from Ashley again. They lost a customer. 2. Their warranty claim process drains money from customers instead of helping them, leaving you with a defective product and less money. 3. Don’t trust a company that doesn’t trust its customers. Even though the inspector said it was defective, customer service claimed the warranty didn’t cover it due to general wear and tear. Don’t waste your money and time with Ashley. I certainly won’t in the future. What would you do in my situation?

I wanted some information on mattresses and he over delivered with the knowledge of the different types of mattresses and how each one would address my individual need. I ended up with the mattress and base that he recommended. I would definitely go back and seek him out for any additional furniture. He definitely stood out among his peers!!

The showroom offered many selections of furniture to choose from. The only negative was that some of the furniture was not in stock and on back order. My family and I went to Ashley Furniture to compare prices and sizes of loveseats. From the moment we came to the store we were professionally and cordially greeted by Gretel who stayed with us to make sure we knew where to look for any loveseats but also by showing us different options. She let us go through the store freely without rushing or overwhelming us which is a big plus. After viewing different options we ended up falling in love with a Micro Sofa which was a better option not only for me and my wife but also for all of us, (including my son and my daughter). Gretel went far and beyond with us at all times (the first time we went and when we came the second time to order our micro sofa). The process of ordering the sofa was very smooth and pleasant. My wife and I spend a considerable amount $3,444 on a bedroom set, enticed by promises of discounts and a gift card of $250.00 .However, upon purchasing , I was misled about the discount policy being told it only applied to Ashley online and Amazon, Furthermore the promised gift card never arrived. Such false promises and lack of transparency are unacceptable in customer service. Disappointed and dissatisfied with my overall experience.

I have shopped at Ashley’s furniture for over 10 years now, mostly in Texas. I was at this location tonight after work around 7pm, wasn’t busy at all. I pretty quickly found what I was looking for but the sales associate stepped away saying she would be back in a minute. After 30 minutes another sales associate finally came by to say the other lady was helping someone else close a bill and I basically had to go through the entire conversation from scratch with this new person. Overall a frustrating experience and it’s a shame I am now going to have to come back another day to get what I needed. Might try Rooms to Go first.

If I could give a zero star, I would. worst customer service ever for a company. This company is a disgrace. do not buy from Ashley furniture or City Furniture. I have bought multiple times from them not anymore.. You guys have lost a customer for life. Nobody does what they say they’re going to do it has taken me over nine months to get an issue resolved, and on top of that the managers will just hang up on you when you are complaining and frustrated. Not a way to do business. Go spend your money somewhere else even if you have to pay more, the aggravation and headaches are not worth it.

Extremely bad experience with the Davie store. The sales person promised to revert the home delivery charges if I called back on Friday. When I did call her she turned back on her word and refused to accept her promise and commitment. When asked to speak to the Manager he was very rude and banged the phone on my face. I plan to take this to the consumer forum and file an official compliant with the manager. Do not trust their word. They turn back after the sale and behave like arrogant owners.

We went in the Davie, FL store with my Mother and Father-in-law. It is a beautiful store. We were helping them to find a sofa. The salesman Jonathan Perez was most helpful and made the experience much more enjoyable.

Worst confirmation services for delivery window!!! We just bought a sofa set from this Ashley store and were advised we would get a delivery window of 3hrs the day prior to delivery no later than 8pm day prior. At 830pm we had not received an time slot so i called this store were we bought our set and advised of the issue, and asked if they can assist. Guy the GM at the store advised that we were set for tomorrow with no time. I told him i cant just stay home all day waiting for furniture and he advised that someone just has to be home to receive it from 9pm to 6pm. He advised that he cant control the appointment window and wanted us to check back in the morning...really the day of delivery ?!?!?. Last time i checked most people have to work for a living and plan their day with some sort of notice to adjust and not just wait for the same day and hope for a time. There was no assistance from the "GM" can only imagine how he manages his staff. I was hoping for assistance and all i received on my call to the store was more frustration. Better places to spend your hard earned money than here.

Phillip was an outstanding Sales Rep. for Ashley Furniture. He greeted me with a smile, very courteous, respectable & as I asked him questions of the products of the different recliners he was very knowledgeable. I did not want my recliner to be delivered due to I have a truck. Philip gave me the address to where I can go pickup my recliner & gave me the exact directions on how to get there. Don't buy there warranties for stains, its a scam. They come up with every reason to get out of warranty. They asked me what the stain is and I told them not sure but looks like dirt. They said we dont cover unknown stains??? what does that even mean? Where in the policy does it say we need to be stain experts?? its laughable these company

Make sure you get ‘in writing’ what they will haul away before the sale. They told me they would pick up my old sofa when delivering the new one, but they apparently do not. Will end up paying to have my sofa removed on top of the cost of the purchase now.
Jonathon was very helpful. He was friendly and informative. I lost all my furniture in the recent flood. Jonathon assisted by listening to what I was looking for and stayed in the price points I wanted. I highly recommend Jonathan and Ashley. I will continue to go back whenever I need to furniture shop.

UPDATE: I originally gave this store 5 stars, however, the couch I purchased from this store in (June 2023) is by far the WORST piece of furniture I have ever bought. I paid $2200 for it and haven't even owned it for a year, and it is ready for the TRASH. The fabric is itchy and pills everywhere. I noticed it after only 10 days and called the store to complain, only to be sold the "fabric warranty" for another $250 because they said I could always get it replaced. However, being a POOR QUALITY PIECE OF JUNK does not qualify and they won't do anything. I owned my last couch for 15 years and then gave it to a friend because there was still life left in it. This couch.....7 months!!!!! I would never shop at this store and advise you to go elsewhere.

Shopping for some furniture for our vacation rental. There was plenty of parking which is always a treat. The store was clean, well organized, the salesperson (Phillip Morrison) who helped us was very knowledgeable, patient and willing to go the expert mile. Their prices did best their competitors and what we liked most of all was a not being rushed. We lucked out and with current sale (Presidents Day Sale) we saved over $250 on what we were getting quoted for. The one thing they had going over the competition is on the sleeper sofas all of their mattresses were memory foam mattresses. Great deal and super happy.
Sales associates were very professional and accommodating. They even let us take a chair home to see how it looked in our dining room.
We ordered a couch and loveseat from Ashley furniture. Upon delivery, my husband was having a medical emergency. I had to make a quick decision to have the delivery guys place the items in the garage in hopes that the company would be understanding and come back when things were stable to complete delivery. Unfortunately, this company has no compassion and is refusing to have their guys come back out (I would be willing to even pay another delivery fee). I was really put in a bad situation at the time of delivery, I had no other choice. Thanks so much for your compassion Ashley Furniture. You just lost a long time customer.

January 28, 2023 I decided to go to Ashley furniture store in Davie. All I can say is fantastic staff from you walk in the door so when you leave thumbs up to Mr. Guy and his team. And also thumbs up to Josh and Doug, I would never experience Ashley furniture if I was not send by city furniture based my nine months of me waiting, but Ashley furniture took care of me and teamwork make the dream work.🤩🤩🤩🤩

Editing my review to reflect resolution of my concerns. Be VERY careful when ordering. Free shipping does not include assembly (they didn't mention this in the store to me). Eventually, Ashley / City furniture made it right and sent a driver to assemble the furniture. It's a good thing they did, because one of my pieces was damaged. They had to send a repair person out to confirm that the piece was unrepairable, then schedule another delivery. All in all, the process took three weeks (after my initial delivery, which took five months for my back-ordered item). In the end I have two pieces of furniture I am pleased with.
I always have a pleasant experience shopping at Ashley… between the attentive staff, timely delivery and being happy overall with the furniture I have bought over the years. I keep coming back.

We purchased a bedroom set and power recliners back in June of this year. The store is well maintained and there are many choices. However, I recommend that you make your final purchases online, from their website. Their sales reps just want to make a quick sale and when you have any issues (after purchase) they want to pass you off to another sales person. Additionally, we had several delivery issues where they delivered a product that was damaged and it took 3 additional attempts, after I had to send emails with proof of the damages. Not to mention they damaged our custom blinds and we had to pay for them to be fixed. When I reached out (via phone) about this, they offered to send someone out(from Ashley) to fix it, I refused. During one of the deliveries, I attempted to tell the delivery person that the item was damaged and I was refusing delivery, they DID NOT take the item back and just left without a word, so I had to call customer service to resolve. Most of their delivery personnel are rude. It was only the last and successful delivery (after 3 previously failed attempts) where the delivery person apologized for our troubles even though that weight did not belong to him. One particular sales person is not very well trained on how to use the tablet to place orders nor on how to include promotional sales in the final invoice. I am now having to contact the promotional company myself because the sales person did not identify our purchases, with the proper promotional code, even though we are entitled to the promotion. All she said was, "just grab the paper with the information and call them", that was incorrect information. We will not be returning to this Ashley Furniture location as our experience ended up leaving us quite sour to this Ashley Furniture location.
Sofia did an amazing job helping us select our furniture. Her advice went well with our choices. Ashley was great setting up the financing. It was a pleasure doing business with Ashley Furniture.
We went in to look at a king adjustable bed and mattress. Jonathan Perez met us upon coming in the store and greated us very professionally. Upon finding what we needed he took his time and explained all the features of the different frames and had us try several mattresses. He was very informative but never pushy. He worked up several combinations to find what would give us the more bang for our bucks. We ended up buying the bed and frame along with a leather dual recliner sofa. Would recommend Jonathan anytime.

I found my experience shopping in Ashley to be a pleasant one. The salespeople were helpful but not pushy or aggressive. The layout of the store was effective because everything was displayed according to design style. Plan on going back for more pieces. The one downside is that the bed that I want is on back order. If not for that I would have given them a five.

I made a substantial purchase with Ashley on 7/25, since we were remodeling our apartment we were ok to have it delivered later. When they sent us an email that they were going to deliver our furniture minus the coffee table and end tables that they would be on back order. We then went to the store and spoke our sales associate and we were told that those tables had recently been discontinued (yet we were told by email that they were on back order). We then picked out a new set of tables and everything was to be delivered today August 16 which it was. One of the 5 canvases that I purchased came and it looks like it was taken out of someone’s home, it was not wrapped it’s dirty and the top is sticky. We told our sales associate and she told us that we had to contact customer care within 24 hours. We have been calling customer care line, it’s been an extremely long wait so the recording says we can leave our name and number and get a call back we have not heard from them so we decided to call back and wait, after about half hour of waiting we were hung up on. I needed to purchase a dining set and a bedroom set but I think I will be going elsewhere. All is good when you first get to Ashley and buy, after that you are on your own. I also purchased a tempurpedic mattress which is pretty expensive , and it was delivered and on the side it looked like it had been hit by something, Again we were told we had to.make a claim and a technician had to take a look at it. He came in today and said we had received a defective mattress that we would be contacted by customer care. They called us and to our inconvenience they said they were going to change the mattress but we had to wait a week…. This to ne is not service. I do want to thank ARGENIS GRAISEN the mattress department because he tried his best to get them to change our mattress on the same day we went to purchase our end tables, but he was unable to. He did try his best.
Good experience overall but far too much pressure to sell the in-home service plan. I was asked 6 times in total! I also had to ask 3 times for it to be removed from the quotations. I understand they are tasked to sell this but asking twice is the limit: not keep asking and asking until one says yes. There appears to be an unfair level of pressure placed on staff to sell this. The girl who helped us, Juli, was very nice and helpful but looked particularly sad that we didn’t take that plan and that seemed to overshadow the 2,000 dollars we spent. This whole service plan experience really does destroy the sales process and the relationship. I did end up purchasing like I say but really did perceive frustration that i didn’t take the plan and that isn’t good at all
BEWARE: incredibly shady sales staff and management team. BETTER PRICES ON THE WEBSITE. The staff here will provide price promises, get you to sign and will then not honor the price agreed upon. After the transaction was done, I was told the sales staff "entered the wrong price" and that I needed to drive back and finish payment. No admitting their mistake, no apology. The management told me "just buy it!". In absolute disbelief at the employees here, no wonder the store is always empty. Stay as far away as you possibly can.

No one should ever believe this people when they try to sell you extended warranty. They’ll tell you anything to make you buy it, and afterwards anytime you call for a claim they will tell you it’s not covered. Horrible experience worrying with them

BEWARE!! I feel completely scammed. I was pressured into purchasing the warranty for the furniture, about $700 worth. If the warranty wasn't used, it could be swapped for store credit. In 2020, my chair was broken so I decided to use my warranty. Here I am, May 2022 and STILL have a broken chair. I figured at this point I'll just swap it for the credit and was told that I already utilized the warranty. According to the supervisor, making the phone call counts as a service EVEN THOUGH NO ONE FIXED THE CHAIR! I essentially paid $700 for a 10min phone call.
I made a purchase on April 26,2022, I bought many items . A dining room set and full size bed with mattress and box spring . I was told that the box spring was going to be the first item delivered to me because it was in stock and not on back order , it was a clearance item and so I went ahead and purchased it . Come to find out , we are May 17,2022 , the box spring has been the last item I have received when in fact I was confirmed that it was going to be my first item due to it being in stock at the warehouse . I have been asked to rescheduled the delivery 4 times , I have been given delivery confirmation dates with arrival times , and on the same day of the delivery ; the shipment is cancelled stating that the item is on back order . I called customer service at this store and was told that the only thing they can offer me is to provide me a box spring that will be $69 more than the one I paid for . How is this the only thing you can do for me? This is not a solution? This has been a waste of time because I have to make sure I’m home to receive my items and my delivery has been cancelled on me 4x after it being confirmed . Horrible service ; never again will I shop here . Next time , just be honest with the customer and say that the clearance items are not guaranteed and they are first come first served . Don’t sale items that you don’t have in stock and have the person wait 3 weeks in a half for it . Do better please !
Do not buy from Ashley furniture. Save your money and go anywhere else. We bought the dining table from here. It took them 3 months to deliver it and when they did the table top was damaged. The movers that cam to set up the table cracked it being careless. Absolutely worse service ever

The experience in-store was fantastic, salesman was great and all but of course that's the case until you make your purchase. I purchased a 5 piece sectional back in October of 2021 and still have not received 2 of the pieces. For paying such a hefty price you would think that there would be some sense of urgency with the delivery. I frequently check the status of the 2 remaining pieces and the dates are constantly changing. From first week of January (that we were told at purchase) now to mid March and many different dates in between, one date including this weekend February 4th. When I have called to voice my concerns I'm given the "dates are subject to change" workaround yet I'm paying full price for furniture that I still don't have. The way its going I'd be surprised if I get the pieces by the end of the year. Its a shame because my wife and I love the couch so much yet its incomplete. I would not suggest buying furniture unless you're willing to wait a year for it.

I received my bedroom at 1 year ago. I purchased it with a $800 rebate that was suppose to be mailed after I set up automatic payments. ASHLEYS CORPORATE HAS STILL NOT SENT THE REBATE. Their customer service has been unable to reach corporate and no one has been able to help for over a year. This is completely unacceptable and I will never buy from them again.
Buyer beware! If there is a problem it’s impossible to get anyone from Customer Care on the phone. I had furniture delivered on Dec 9th and had new floors installed the week before. The delivery drivers scratched my new floors. I immediately submit a damage claim. Multiple attempts to customer service and store have been fruitless. Find out on Dec 14th that the first damage claim was closed out without anyone be speaking to me. Opened a new damage claim. Someone finally calls me on Dec 15th, offers a measly $100 when the labor and repair will cost much more. Was supposed to receive an email and someone was supposed to contact me for the repair team, none of that happened. Go in today and again the damage claim has been closed and just had to enter a new one. Trying to call into customer care is impossible, no one answers. If you select the option to have someone call you back when they finally call you back hours later all they do is dump you back into the wait for customer care. The store only sends email. I have brand new floors that were scratched and no one is assisting and pointing fingers. They do t follow through. Don’t buy any extra warranties, it’s impossible to get help on the phone.

We particularly enjoyed being given our space while we looked around, and then when we were ready so were they. We left very happy with our purchase, and will definitely be coming back for any of our furniture needs.
After looking at several stores, I came back to Ashley Home Store in Davie, FL, where Frank Morales was incredibly helpful. In fact, he is one of the reasons I returned to that store. I met some reeeaallly pushy salespeople at other furniture stores! Frank was not pushy at all and let me see what I wanted before stepping in and giving me the details. I'm highly disappointed with the timelines with Ashley furniture. I have been buying over 90% of my furniture in Ashley since 2015. Having said that, its a disrespect to me and my family that we have waited since July 2nd for a dining table that has yet to arrive. See, i don't mind if I'm told ahead of time that we do not know when your product will arrive due to supply chain issues and we will charge you after we receive your product. However, the fact that i paid cash and was told that i would receive my product by august and its the middle of October and i have yet to hear back from them its an utter disrespect and down right terrible customer service. Even after everything, i call to obtain a status update and customer care will not even respond the calls. I was on the phone for over 45 mins and the call was literary cutoff with no response. I will flat-out say I will not purchase any more furniture from Ashley ever again!!!!

We’re now in September 2021 and part of my furniture‘s were delivered. To make a long story short, I called the store today 9/14/2021 to check on the status of the remaining pieces of my furniture and I was informed that my order was canceled. The Representative on the phone told me she was going to transfer me to customer service, which is a different department from in the store. I was on hold for two hours before a representative from customer service came on the phone. I have the screenshot that I’m posting as well with their phone number on it, as proof. Do these people really think it’s fair or even right to have a customer on hold for TWO hours. I'm only giving one star because I have no other choice to give less! My family moved to Florida and my parents bought a couch, a dining room set, a kitchenette and a full bedroom set from Ashleys /City Furniture. When the Dining Room Set was supposed to be delivered they had my parents wait all day and it was never delivered because their staff was not able to follow through with the delivery. My father had to goto the warehouse and bring it home himself and put it together himself and was never reimbursed a delivery fee. Today my dad was supposed to receive the kitchenette. The guard at the gate in his community called to grant access for the delivery and no one ever showed up. I called customer service to report the incident and schedule a new delivery date. Customer service then tells me that their order was canceled and waiting to be delivered to the next customer who was waiting for the item. I then asked to speak to a supervisor who went on to list all of the Furniture that has not been delivered due to delays and back orders (didn't ask about that) and then tells me that the set we were suppose to receive today won't be delivered until October 17th. She had no desire to make things right. Wasn't necessarily looking for money just for us to get the kitchenette at a reasonable date. Certainly won't be ordering any furniture from here again !

Second couch in 3 years with nails/ metal sticking out. Won’t come and repair as we didn’t buy the 3 year extended warranty. That tells you something right there, they don’t expect it to last much longer! They only took back the first couch because I cut myself badly.

I drive over 2 hours to my new home only to find out that they don't have my furniture to deliver today as set and told it was ready for delivery. Was told it wasn't even in the country. Where is it ? The can't say but was told maybe tomorrow. Super vague and un cool to have someone show up for a set day a time. Was told well you can have your money back. That doesn't make me feel better. Of course I could have money back. What about all the time I spent to purchase and set up delivery to my new home and drive 2 plus hours spending Memorial day by myself with no furniture. Thanks not happy. Yes it's memorial day so I'll be thankful for those whom sacrificed all.

I have gone to this store on 2 different occasions. Both times I was not greeted no one came to see if I needed help even after asking if I can get assistance I was told someone will be with me and 15 mins later I left without being helped. Sad thing is the only bed my daughter likes is one in that store, which is why I went back a 2nd time but I refuse to spend my money in that store. And I dont see that bed online. I've never been to a furniture store and not helped. Very bad customer service. I'm very disappointed

This local store and the employees are great. However the quality of their furniture is terrible and Ashley furniture as a company is not accommodating at all. Below is my review left on their site. I bought this bed a few months back and was very happy with the style. The quality of the bed's construction is absolutely terrible. It broke within two months and my wife and I are both less than 160 pounds. The bed sides are made from MDF and the screws that hold the metal bracket on the inside pull out because of the angled legs. I propped the bed up temporarily with some legs I made so we wouldn't end up on the floor while sleeping. Ashley furniture now says I voided my warranty because of the legs I made. Overall not happy at all with the bed or Ashley furniture as a company.
I met with Christy at Ashley Furniture . She has an awesome demeanor and good decor skills. She was patient and helped me pick a perfect selections for my home. I actually enjoyed the experience. I will contact her for my next visit.
I am changing my review of this place never again buying at Ashley it took 3 times to get the parts that were not damaged. Customer service and managers response did not care about my issues or getting it corrected. Stay away from buying there.

I don't usually leave reviews, but after my experience with Aieysha and Guy at the Ashley Home Store in Davie, Florida, I felt compelled to share my experience. To give some background, I just drove across the country from, Seattle to Florida and got rid of my furniture prior to coming. Needless to say, as with most moves, this involved a great deal of stress. There's the stress of preparing to move. The stress of leaving friends and loved ones behind, and the stress of acclimating to a new environment, to name a few. I have had wonderful experiences with Ashley products before and decided to find a location near me. How lucky was I when I entered the location and was greeted by the angel formerly known as Aieysha. She had a really warm and welcoming energy about her. She introduced herself and inquired on what I was hoping for, and did all this in a very non-pushy way. She was patient and provided me with many options. I mean, I do not like shopping, AT ALL, but furniture buying usually takes time. Time I didn't have as I wanted to set up my new place as soon as possible for some sense of normalcy. My financing was set up in quick time and the shopping experience was a treat. Aieysha also introduced me to her Manager, Guy, who was surely a wonderful example of customer service for Aieysha to learn from. I cannot thank you enough for welcoming me into your location and for such an incredibly positive shopping experience. I look forward to my new furniture in the next few days, and will be sure to come by when I need to add a few more pieces. You are both valued and appreciated.

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THEM!!! I ordered on Oct. 23rd and was told 6 weeks. When they showed up there was no couch as it was on back order ( never got a courtesy call). They also didn't have my five piece table accessories. They told me I already got them which I have not. I was told I would get my couch on Dec. 19th. I made my monthly payment today and called them to see if it could come earlier. They told me no and that it was pushed out to Dec 31st. and that was not even guaranteed just a suggestion on their part. I have called the store 5 times and the manager is always out to lunch or in a meeting. I also emailed my sales associate and he never replied. They are scam artist and at this point I am going to seek legal action! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! It is unacceptable!

Horrible service. We have been waiting two months for our couch. When we ordered it we were promised a one month delivery, then for two days of mild rain from the hurricane the delivery was off put for another month. Now, because of Black Friday, we have to wait yet another month for one of our couches to be delivered. Even though I had been waiting since October, the sales of Black Friday were made a priority costing me my couch. Horrible service so not recommend buying from Ashleys. I have family in orlando who had they’re furniture delivered broken and the ashley employees would not return them.

City Furniture's customer service was very solicitous since the original review, but sorry to say we never did hear back from anyone at the store. We were left no choice but to return to the store just to get answers to our questions. Ended up speaking with the same sales associate who would not return our calls or emails, but he only pointed the finger at his manager. Shame, because a simple returned phone call or email would have been such an easy way to avoid a negative review. Only 2 stars because... The sales staff was helpful and friendly when we were in the store making a purchase. However, I have tried to reach them with a concern about my order and they have been non-responsive. Sales associate will not return calls and tells me to contact via email, but has not replied to email either. I asked to speak with a manager, but got the busy holiday weekend run-around, and was even told they are busy with customers. Am I not also a customer?? If you buy from the Davie, FL store, check your order carefully before you walk out, because that may be your last chance to speak with anyone. It is very frustrating, but seems I will have to return to the store to speak with someone.

I wanted to give this store half of star the customer service its been really irritating. We bought a dinning table not less than a year ago. Three of the chairs broken and unstable, my mom called for them to come and exchange the broken dining table and they told her they do not offer exchange for a broken product. Instead, they came to our house and "try to fix it". This been going for almost a year. This is really disappointing for this store they spent tons of money for this dinning table yet the service was wish store quality. Customer service terrible and unprofessional for an "high quality store."

My experience at the davie location was terrible. The table set I wanted to purchase was marked at 300plus with the website price being 246. When I brought this up they kindly price matched my item. But to my surprise they tagged on a protection plan without asking or my knowledge of it bringing my total to 294. Sheron Cameron bewry also Informed me that if I had it delivered to my apartment that the shipment would be left on the first floor of an apartment complex which to me is unacceptable .when I found out I could simply order through ashleys website at 264 total shipped to my door directly I decided to do a return . The woman sheron who helped me that was so kind to me when I was purchasing had an attitude shift after I explained I wanted to return my item. She didn’t even offer to match the service they had online and then hit me with the reason why I paid more for the item being the protection plan. Extremely unprofessional .
My wife and I were just looking to get some new ideas for remodeling and new furniture. We looked at everything... then just about the last thing we looked at...fell in love with a bedroom set, and with the help of the manager and trainee, we customer made our bedroom set. They were very helpful and pleasant. I bought a sofa from Ashley Furniture on July 5th and they promise me that they would deliver it on July 13th. Today is August 18th and I have not received it yet. Each time I call them (because they do not call you) they set a new delivery date (4 times to date) and they haven't comply. This company is completely irresponsible and I won't buy nothing again from them. I just want to get my sofa (the last update said that I should receive it on August 22nd) and forget this company. If you need something immediately, DO NOT contact them, because probably they won't assist you.

Stay away from them!!! Worst experience ever! Bought a king size bed and a king size memory foam mattress last month. It started off with the mattress not straightening to how it’s supposed to be. The bottom part of it was curved up. Getting a hold of customer care has been an absolute nightmare! Hours of waiting for someone to pick up. If you leave a number to call you back - they never do! A MONTH later they sent a replacement and then we find out by the installers who delivered it that It’s actually the wooden bed rails that are defective. We could actually see how bent they are (curve upwards) which makes the whole lower part of the mattress bounce up. Another two hours on the phone to have someone from customer care pick up and now I have to wait another two weeks for someone to come look at it! Store managers tell you to deal with customer care directly. Then customer care treat you like another number on their list and don’t care about how frustrated you are. This experience is absolutely unpleasant and I do not recommend shopping with them!

I absolutely loved the selections, the prices and availability of the products I loved. I was so used to RTG but had been disappointed with lack of selection recently as the reason as to why I came to Ashley and it was the best decision ever!! They had specials, gifts, 0% finance on top of great prices, cleanliness, and safety precautions. Excellent quality and was able to browse the store unbothered and Checkout was quick and mobile. We absolutely loved Sheron and will share our experience with all our friends and family. She is our new go to person for all future purchases.

Everything was going fine until I was finishing my purchase. It was explained to me when we first arrived that the promotion did not involve any down payment. Upon completing our purchase of our bedroom set, the young lady tending to us told us that we needed 10% down to receive the promotion. That ruined my mood when I was supposed to be happy that I purchased a new bedroom set.

I loved my experience at Ashley for this reason. My saleswoman - whose name escapes me - was just the type of salesperson I like. She greeted us, introduced herself produced hand sanitizer for us, then proceeded to ask how she might be of help. After explaining what we were looking for, she then escorted us to the appropriate area and allowed us the needed time to look around, compare and make our decision. She didn't pressure us, but was there if we had questions. The best part is she didn't try and sell is anything by telling us they're selling a lot of a particular product. I can't stand that tactic, it has no bearing on my decisions. Unfortunately I don't remember her name, but it appeared it might be African or something of that nature. Thanks Ashley.

Poor communication regarding warranty credit. They came off as dishonest as were were repeatedly quoted a different price. Had I not questioned the final bill I would have ended up paying more in addition to the credit available.

I usually come to this store every time I need to change my furniture, I was there this past Sunday with family and I was surprised that I witnessed how this employee was yelling at another. i had to asked because was the first time I see this particular employee and for my surprise, She was the Manager. This is the first time I see this happening, wow how unprofessional. ( my star is for the services on that day)

We decided to go look in Ashley furniture for new living room furniture. Our old furniture was 15 years old. We decided on the Boxberg set and bought our first ever power set. It was more than we suspected but set is very comfortable. We feel like we really upgraded our living room.

I was very impressed with their wide selection of living room furniture. Their uniqueness in style and comfort seperates them from the rest. After searching the many different furniture chains here in SoFlo, I can certainly, and honestly give my opinion for best furniture here in the south.
Be aware that they will not tell you about price matching. They will add delivery fees. They will add protection plans that aren’t required. If you pick up your own furniture be prepared for a horrendous ordeal. I wouldn’t buy from this place ever again.

This location is the worst. I bought furniture there in April and didn’t get everything until this month August 2023. Apparently, I picked up my furniture when I paid to get it delivered. This wasn’t the first incident. It occurred twice. There’s something fishy going on over there. If I could give them a minus zero I would.

Over the past 2 years we have purchased 2 full apartments of furniture from Ashley. The Sales person was super nice during the whole process. He talked us into purchasing the furniture extended warranty In case anything ever happened to the furniture they would come to the house and if they could not fix it they would replace it. It was not cheap, a few hundred dollars more. Since the sales person guaranteed us that it covered everything, we decided to go ahead and do it. Fast forward a year later, a part of our couch got ready dried and started to rip. We do have 2 dogs. When I called to use the warranty, it was a total nightmare, first I send them pictures and open a case which they were suppose to call me In 24 hours to set up an appointment, nobody called, I did it again, nobody called again. A month into it, I called and finally spoke with someone who asked me what had happened and I told her the truth that we have dogs, and the couch is ripping. She said that was NOT covered. She said it was listed on their website. Bottom line ! The sales person lied to us, he knew we have dogs, we even shared dog pictures, and I even bought his dog a gift the next day. They should not lie to people to get them to buy their warranty. We feel like we got scammed out of a few hundred dollars. DO NOT BUY THEIR WARRANTY or you will be scammed also, your better off donating your money to charity.

Cesar especially went above and beyond for us to help us pick out a new bed set and couch. He even went as far as moving different furniture pieces around a bed I was interested in in order for me to see how each piece looked together. I went back and forth for over an hour trying to find the perfect set and he and Sergio never made me feel rushed or like I was being a pain. They both were patient and kind. Cesar went above and beyond for us and we are so appreciative. I will definitely be returning as we start furnishing our new home.

They will sell you items they don’t have in stock AND go as far as to call you to schedule a drop off date without telling you that it isn’t currently in stock!!! I waited all day at home, had to take the day off from work since their delivery schedule is any time between 9am and 6 pm. When I called, they said they had tried to reach out ONE TIME the day before. No voicemail, no emails.Terrible service!

Let’s start by saying I was very happy with my sofa set purchase. Until after I picked it up. Once I backed it at the house we notice a tear in the leather. We tried calling our sales person the moment we noticed the issue. No answer to his ext so we left a message to call us back. No call back. So we called the store twice and each time they told me they would make sure he calls me right back. No call back again. Ended up calling customer service. They were able to reach him and finally received the call back I was waiting for. But my answer to my damaged sofa was that it’s my responsibility to load it back onto my truck and drive all the way to the warehouse and exchange it. It would be more understanding if I wasn’t told from the salesman “ call me if anything is damaged and I will take care of it right away and get you a replacement” literally before I finished signing all the paperwork. I was told by the customer service representative that the salesman had the authority to override the delivery fee so we could swap out the damaged furniture for my inconvenience. Once I spoke to him he told me that was incorrect and he has no such authority. It’s been a very disappointing situation. The only good thing I can say is the buying transaction went very nice. I was planning on purchasing more items for the house from there but I’m not too sure after this.

I was greeted at the door with a sign that read same day 7 days a week delivery everyday. I was disappointed that at 2:00pm “No trucks were available” also was told that we will not get our items until Friday and it was Sunday because “it’s that time of the year” we are very busy...so I drove my truck to Tamarac to pick up the items they asked me for the order number I was told I would receive an email from my salesperson well I never got the email. Thankfully the warehouse was able to locate it with my Phone number after waiting in the pick up line for almost an hour.

She answered all questions about materials and quality, she let us look through the store with out putting pressure on us. We had gone to many other furniture stores and didn’t have a pleasant experience and the prices were ridiculously high, our last furniture store was Ashley and we got exactly what we wanted with the help of Melodie and the price was fair. My wife and I recently purchased furniture from Ashley and were extremely pleased with the whole process. Our sales associate Doug was extremely knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. We had visited a competitor the same day and were bombarded with over 20 different people trying to get us to buy furniture from them. I walked out and went right to Ashley where I felt welcomed without being bombarded. I felt that the selection in the showroom was outstanding and the prices were very reasonable. Doug was so helpful in finding me the correct recliner that was both stylish and supportive for my lower back. I highly recommend this store and Doug Williams to anybody who is looking to purchase furniture.

Also, in the process he damaged parts of our stair case and newly laid flooring. Will be speaking to corporate and escalating the issue first thing in the morning. This is absolutely disgusting and pathetic and we expected the company to do better. Shameful.

I mean buying furniture is so expensive and when you decide to go about doing it you want it to be enjoyable. However, the experience I have had with Ashley Furniture is nothing close to enjoyable. I ordered a bunch of furniture from the company for my new home that my husband and I purchased. When arriving for delivery I was informed that our new mattress has been missing since last Thursday, and cannot be found, you would think they would inform us of this mishap before delivering everything. The truck driver wasn’t even aware of this issue. The receipt listed 15 items but there were only 14 on the truck. So we start calling Ashley to find out what has happened, I was rudely informed by the Florida shipping center it was not their problem because it had left the warehouse. Who says “it’s not our problem,” when you’re the company responsible for the furniture? Then I call Ashley Corporate and was informed the store in Davie, Florida is not part of the corporate office so they can not help me. If you do not buy from corporate your furniture is not accessible from them, be aware before you buy!! Which makes me again call the Florida delivery office, very upset at this point, I told the women what was going on and she was short and snappy and told me it would be 24-72 hours before anyone would get back to me. So you want me to sleep on the floor for 24-72 hours because you lost the mattress? I was not pleased. Am I suppose to still be paying for this nightmare of a mattress? I don’t want to be paying for this at all. All in all, I still do not have the mattress that I bought and no one has gotten back to me. The whole lack of communication from Ashley Furniture is horrible and I would not recommend anyone buying anything from them!! It is a nightmare. Now another night of not having a mattress and no mattress in sight anytime soon.

The furniture is beautiful and everything we wanted but Specifically the customer service we received was top notch and unlike any other furniture store we’ve been to. David was amazing for the beginning to end . We never felt pressure to buy and he really listen to every detail and concerned we had. As pet owners we expressed in great detail how we need furniture to accommodate us and our pets. This is the second time I visit this location. Needless to say, the first time I visited I was not pleased. I was ready to buy (I’m moving and needed to furnish two areas of my apartment), but the sales associate fell short of expectations. I browsed, took a few pictures to share with my fiancée and left a little disappointed. Today, we decided to go in, so that my fiancée could see what the furniture I chose looked like. As soon as we walked through the door a sales associate greeted us, his name is Jeff Williams. He was warm, inviting and had a great energy about him. He asked if we knew what we were looking for, and I answered that I wanted to show my fiancée a bed, because we didn’t know if we were going to shop in-store or order online and have it just delivered. He made a joke about it and started helping us. He proceeded to ask if I knew where the furniture I liked was located and I told him that yes, I knew. He took me and my fiancée where the bed was, and I told him, that we were actually very set on buying it, but since we were moving to a different city we didn’t know if delivery was going to be an issue. He verified the delivery options for us, and told us that delivery was not going to be an issue whatsoever. After deciding that we were actually going to take the bed, I told him that we were also shopping for a sectional, he showed us a few options and was very helpful. When we decided which one we wanted, he gave us the options and told us that there was going to be a little issue since all the parts were not available for delivery the same day (which we didn’t mind), and he said that he just wanted to make sure that we were o.k. With it. We also chose a coffee table, and end table and a sofa table that we had already seen. Then the best part, Jeff took us to choose our mattress. At first I just thought, he is going to try and upsell me. But no, he just showcased his product knowledge. He gave us the mattress demo on the tempurpedic matresses, he even took us to “Bora Bora” on a relaxation exercise just so we could experience the mattress. He spoke very fluently about the benefits of purchasing that type of mattress and not only made great reccommendations, but also listened when I told him about my back problems. He definitely took his time to ensure that we were taken care of. After that, we sat down to discuss final prices. He offered me finance options, and guided me through the whole process. He helped me save money, made exceptional reccommendations and made us feel appreciated. I will definitely will come back for any other furnishing needs to him. I ordered a bed from this location and the representative made the mistake and ordered the wrong set. When I confronted her about it, she said she would call me back once she reviewed with her supervisor. Its been almost 2 weeks since this conversation. This is apparently the type of service this locations offers. Edit: I was requested to email another representative for this location, which I did 3 weeks ago and haven't heard back from anyone. I continue to be disappointment by the service provided by Ashley furniture representative.

NIGHTMARE!! Ashely’s has many great products, good quality and good prices.. but they have terrible customer service, if you have an issue? Good luck. I purchased a bed from them a month before I was moving into my new home so that when I did move I would have it there. They call me 2 days before I was expecting the bed to be delivered saying that, they don’t know where it is and don’t have them in stock anywhere.... then, they told me they would investigate and figure it out as I had already purchased it. A week passes. No bed, no contact from Ashley’s. I call them, same excuses, no resolution. They said they’ll get back to me that same day. Another day pass and no call back. Eventually they figure it out and get a delivery date, nearly two months late. Then, one box is delivered. Unfortunetly, I was at work so they left the “bed” for me. I come to check, the single box they left was only the backboard!!! No actual bed! Rediculous. Still waiting for my bed, terrible terrible experience.

Ashley makes and sells a decent product for the money. However, every time I buy something from their store I find the same item for less from another retailer online. Then I have to fight with them to honor their price match guarantee. It’s pretty sad when a third party is selling your product for less than you, then you don’t want to honor your own guarantees. Not once have they had the best price for the same product/item number. If you’re going to purchase a Ashley or City Furniture piece, just google the item number and buy it cheaper elsewhere. Not even their own Black Friday door buster deals are the best deals on their products. This wasn’t our first purchase from this store, but it will be our last. UPDATE: we received our couch. They still have not honored their price match guarantee. We did not like the color of the couch once it arrived at our home. We tried paying the $100 fee to swap the couch for the same couch but another color (As listed online that was an available option). Customer service advised that the customer satisfaction guarantee listed online was not honored by this store, as they are independently owned and operated and each store has its own set of rules that they get to make up. What a frustrating and disappointing experience this has been. Specifically with this location.

I purchased a Glambrey dining table with four chairs for my mother. Prior to delivery. the driver communicated with me and within the hour the table was set-up at her house. I used to love this store and was a loyal customer for many years. Got an expensive Matress amongst other furniture two years ago. Matress turned out to be defective as it caves in. I weight 130 lbs and it can’t support me at all. We were pushed a cover for protection which didn’t protect it from stains. The company won’t honor the warranty even though they themselves recognized after an inspection that the matress is defective and claim the stains cancel the warranty. I explained the situation and they totally shut me down. Getting lawyer to sue since my back is in terrible shape and will need surgery. Never ever buying from them again.

*****Do not buy from the Online store**** I ordered a bed in a box on a Monday and expected to get the mattress on Thursday with 2 day shipping. Thursday rolls around and I see my package is still in the waiting for shipment phase with UPS. 5 calls later, I finally get through to Ashley's Furniture HORRIBLE customer service, where I was told the item was sent and there was nothing they could do. I then called UPS, who told me the item was never picked up and they are waiting for the shipment info from Ashleys. Would never buy again and am wanting a refund!!!! What a complete waste of time. Buyers Beware. DO NOT do buy!

Deya was heaven sent helping me with my relocation furniture needs. She exceeded my expectations by providing concierge level customer support. I relocated from Chicago to Miramar and had very little time to get some key pieces for my place. She was super helpful and made sure my bed was delivered the day I moved in. I truly appreciate her and all that she did. If you're looking for great furniture, and customer support under one roof, go to the Ashley Homestore in Davie and ask for Deya. Ok, buying the furniture was a pleasure and everyone was very nice, of course. Later came the delivery, they delivery guys were very small guys and could barely lift the very heavy wood bedroom set we purchased for a second floor. Their attitude also was very bad. The bedroom set look fine from the outside though later we realized the did not install the legs properly (crooked)on a door chest and we planned to call about that. Being summer we have gone on two trips during this time. About 2-3 weeks after the delivery we noticed that the bottom drawer of a Door Chest would not open, looking under the door chest, the bottom wood panel was completely smashed and broken!! The delivery guys clearly saw this as they installed the legs on the bottom of the drawer chest, and didn't say anything!!!! My wife then calls the sales rep (who specifically told her to call if anything was wrong), told him about the delivery, and he tells her to take pics and make a warranty claim and gives her an email to send them to. We go out of town again, on return I ask my wife about it, and I think that doesn't sound right since this is a delivery issue not a warranty issue. I call customer service and am told it is not a warranty issue, but a delivery issue and they will have an inspector call me for an appointment within 48 hours. Hopefully this will get me my new very expensive Door Chest replaced. So in summary, unqualified delivery guys, straight up lied to us, and then the sales rep either lied or is completed untrained and has no clue on the furniture return procedures. All I can tell you if you buy with them upon delivery inspect the furniture carefully opening every drawer and check everything even the bottoms of the furniture, as they delivery guys may pull a fast one on you. After this I will be hard pressed ever to buy at Ashley again. UPDATE 8/9: After calling more customer service reps and emailing Kate@cityfurniture I got nowhere, all telling me sorry that I had to go through the warranty procedure. I called one more time a Rep named Shanekal listened to me and understood my issue. Within the hour she called me back and arranged an exchange for a new door chest. This company need more employees like Shanekal. She really went the extra mile to resolve my issue. Thank you so much Shanekal.

The delivery guys broke my floor, and Ashley Furniture didn't care to pay for it, after stringing me along for weeks.
I loved it at first I really did..until I received 2 lamps that I tried cancelling 3 times. When they delivered they told me they would charge to take it back so I considered just taking it on my next day off... well they made a huge deal because none of the 3 representstibes ever cancelled the guy at the store named franco he really had a NO attitude, no we cant take it back , no you should've came before. No we cant help you, made me call cooperate 3 times as he sat back and watched me get SOO upset. [ mind you I spent 13k in the store the lamps were just 110] after hours of the cooperate office telling me pretty much they didnt care the guy decided to actually call my sales person which didnt cancel the lamps to confirm. Once confirm and 3 hours later the guy that said couldn't do anything. Did something! Why people got to be like that ! You upset me. Made me dislike this store because I saw it's TRUE colors and now as much as I might like anything and need to finish furnishing my extra rooms I refuse to go. Funny part of all. Once he finally dis something I guess he read up on notes and was trying to sell me other furniture for my guest room which I know had to be in the notes ! Really?! FU Also I bought a TV stand it came broken they sent me a guy to fix it in an unbranded van super beat up the guy had no tools my husband has to help and at the end nothing was fixed they just gave some store credit to shut up and move on.
Do NOT shop here. Especially not from Jeff Williams. He is slimy and super shady. We went shopping for furniture and possibly a mattress. During the credit check he intentionally hid the IPad from view so who knows what he was doing. He was visibly upset when we told him we didn't need any protection plans and went as far as begging for it to help him out. "Help a starving African child out for as low 35 cents a month." When we decided not to get the mattress he told us to come back 2 days later because he was busy with other clients on a holiday weekend. So we took our business to a different Ashley (Sawgrass mills). Which was a cheaper, faster, more efficient and less shady experience. It was at this second store that we found out Jeff had already charged our line of credit for the mattress and other items even though we had never agreed to it. He would continuously ask for signatures on the IPad under the impression that it was for the credit check but apparently it was to approve the purchases. It was a pain to have the purchases refunded and speaking to the general manager at this location was less than ideal. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra miles to ANY other Ashley store.
Jeff made our shopping experience fun and became good friends with our 2 year old right away. He helped entertain our boy while we shopped. We chose this location after visiting 4 other stores for Jeff and their great finance options!

I have had a horrible experience ! I bought a dining table over 5 months ago and it came damaged. I have been trying to get furniture replaced and always something happens. They have canceled my delivery at last minute ( on the same day of delivery )because it has not been in stock. Then when they finally did delivery it also came damaged so they took it back and supposedly someone was going to contact me to make other delivery and no one ever called. I disputed the charges with credit card and they supposedly provided information that they did deliver furniture. I have requested copies of documents because I would love to see their proof especially that I refused to sign delivery documents due to not getting my furniture.

Our salesperson was great. She called the following day to make sure we were happy with everything. I didn’t give 5 stars due to the delivery which was scheduled between 3pm-6pm but showed up after 7pm. No call or notification. The online tracker was not updated. I had to call customer service and was on hold for over 20 minutes. Only to be told they were delayed and we were the next stop. But as far as the furniture is considered we are very pleased.
Don't shop there, you can get way!!!! Better service at MACY'S furniture store plus the delivery driver has no respect or care for your property(furniture or bed) which they are delivering. This is the worst furniture store to shop from ever.

Kicked out for no reason other than the fact that we were under 18. (???) My friend and i walk in looking for nice decorative pieces for his new bedroom, as his sister moved out and she gave him her room. We had 30 dollars on hand and were looking around the store and we went back outside to meet some friends, who brought more money. We were all chipping in to buy something nice for him. Jeff (i think thats his name) told us that since we were under 18 we cant buy anything and we were going to have to leave. He said something about needing bills to pay or something, which i understand but you dont kicked your own customers out when theyve done nothing wrong? We hadn't even walked through the door and we were already being eagerly catered to. A Mr. Brice took care of us and i was very happy with him because i could see that he was both knowledgeable and experienced. It felt like he was genuinely interested in making sure we were happy with our selection. We found just the right furniture and Mr. Brice was able to set up everything up for us with free delivery in a jiffy. We have a rocket for a baby so we got the stain protection plan for three years as well as the wear & tear protection plan. He thoroughly explained both protection plans and i would highly recommend it for anyone with a family or active life style. It's probably one of the most fair, generous, and comprehensive protection plans I've ever heard of for furniture. Ashley's home furniture store is a fine store with great service and i will definitely advise anyone looking for furniture to check it out. My wife and i are very happy with our decision and we will return. THANK YOU !

I was very well pleased with the service that I received from the Davie store in Florida the manager Brice power went above and beyond giving me excellent service that I did not receive from the Sawgrass and the Oakland store , I waited and search 6 months for a particular item that Mr Brice power was able to get for me when the other stores seem to have failed, he was courtesy and polite to work with. It is always a great experience when going to Ashley furniture technically my wife and I we went there just to go window shopping but we actually ended up buying a living room as well as a dining room set thanks to Kelly Reardon (KC). This one time if it was not for her like I stated earlier we would've just went there to window shop and come back home. We walked in and no one would help us. When we finally asked for help, they sent us the same young lady that saw us pass by 5 times and didn't say anything to us. I was looking to buy living room, dining room, family room and my kids furniture. When I asked her what furniture they had with studs, her reponse was " what you see in the floor is what we have". No customer service what so ever. Even though I like the furniture, the service turned us off and we left the store. If your looking for furniture dont visit this particular store. Bad service .

This was my first visit to Ashley Furniture. I didn't feel stalked or pressured by the usual furniture stores I've been to in the area. I was asked questions and shown things that actually were in line with my wants. The salesperson was extremely knowledgable and didn't try to push me for a sale. He listened to me and let me look through the whole store. When it came time to make the purchase he explained all my options on warranty and pricing. Loved my experience at Ashley Furniture. I went during their memorial day sale looking for an affordable couch that was within my budget. Luckily, I found a couple options and eventually found the perfect couch with the most helpful assistant. The whole process took about an hour and half. I also received my couch the next day despite the bad weather. It's worth taking a look if you're looking for new pieces of furniture.

I have had a pretty awful experience with this store and Ashley Furniture in general. It's been over a month that I purchase a sofa, and I still haven't received it. They have cancelled my delivery two times because the sofa is on backorder, and the third time, their extremely unprofessional delivery person called me that they were on the way TWO AND A HALF HOURS after their latest promised delivery time, and gave attitude when I said I wouldn't be home because it was too late, and I'm not accepting a delivery when it's pitch black outside and I can't inspect the sofa well. I can understand the sofa being on backorder once, but to do this twice unapologetically without offering any kind of solution is very bad customer service, especially when I'm spending one thousand dollars on a sofa. I would probably rather sit on the floor at this point than continue to do business with this terrible company.

We were helped by Melissa and she was very patient and guided us through their entire store. She also answered all the questions we had. The inventory at Ashley Furniture, Davie is amazing and at reasonable prices. We ended up buying way more than we expected. Melissa also made sure to ship things out asap. We were very happy with our experience and it will be our #1 place to visit if we need any furniture or home decor.

Great service and very helpful. My wife changed her mind numerous times during the process and the staff was very helpful and patient.
My delivery was set and they cancelled it 2 hours before to the next day. The next day during the delivery window sales rep. calls and tells me to have the $120 delivery fee cash to give to the driver. Had so many re schedules and management didn't seem to care I cancelled the order. Have had better service at Macy's and other furniture stores.
Wonderful experience. Richard helped us and even followed up after delivery to make sure everything was perfect. The furniture looks great and the delivery went smoothly.
We came into Ashley last month to buy a mattress and left with several other pieces of furniture at a great value! Donald Douze helped us picked the right pieces and recommended some other options that left us with a wonderful deal. Donald helped arrange the delivery and made the whole experience very pleasant. I've shopped at other furniture stores where the sales agents were pushy, and I left without looking much further. Ashley on Sheridan was a completely different experience. I would definitely shop there again and would recommend it to anyone looking for furniture or household items!
