Ashley Store Davie, FL

I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with my recent experience purchasing a sectional sofa. What should have been an exciting home purchase turned into a frustrating and disheartening situation due to a complete lack of flexibility and customer care. Shortly after my sectional was delivered, I realized that one of the modular pieces along with the ottoman made the configuration too large for my space. The items were brand new, unused, and in the same condition as when they arrived. Within just a few days of delivery, I contacted customer service in good faith simply hoping to return those two pieces and keep the remainder of the sectional. To my surprise, I was told that because I had selected a “premium delivery” option, my purchase was considered final sale and no returns were allowed. This policy had never been disclosed to me. I placed my order over the phone, and at no point during the ordering process did anyone inform me that choosing that delivery option would eliminate any possibility of returning a brand-new item. Had that been communicated, I absolutely would have reconsidered my purchase and the delivery method. What was even more disappointing than the policy itself was the complete unwillingness to help resolve the situation. I spoke with four different supervisors, hoping that someone would be empowered to show even a small degree of customer care or offer a reasonable solution. Unfortunately, each conversation ended the same way: no flexibility, no compromise, and no effort to prioritize customer satisfaction. When customers invest in large furniture purchases, (over $6000 in this case) they do so with trust—trust that the company will stand behind its products and treat customers fairly if an issue arises. In this case, that trust was not honored. A simple partial return of unused pieces could have easily turned this into a positive experience and earned long-term loyalty. Instead, I was left feeling unheard and dismissed. For a company that sells high-value items meant to last for years, the lack of customer-first thinking is incredibly disappointing. Policies are important, but so is judgment, transparency, and basic service. Based on this experience, I would strongly encourage future buyers not to purchase from this company, to thoroughly review all policies before purchasing and to be extremely cautious when ordering large furniture items over the phone. My hope is that this feedback encourages the company to reevaluate how it handles situations like this and to place greater emphasis on transparency and customer satisfaction.

I Went to the Davis Location and was instantly greeted by Rahi who was very pleasant and helpful. He was attentive and made my purchasing experience well worth it. This store has so much to choose from with great prices.

Phillip, the Associate I was being assisted by was efficient, Answered all my questions. The sale was easy because I knew exactly what I wanted & knew I was going to purchase what I came for so it wasn’t complicated. With that said…. I bought a new bed and expensive mattress. The delivery fee is too high . I asked if my old mattress with it’s box spring would be removed and was told YES for the mattress and NO for the box spring. That means it will have to sit in my driveway until I can find a way to get rid of it. Ugh! Could use bulk trash but they only come every three weeks. This is so inconvenient for the customer . Instead of having a smooth experience all the way through with instant gratification and satisfaction I now have homework. The reason I was told was that the box spring is considered furniture. A bed frame would logically be seen as “Furniture” ……..their is no old bed frame to be removed….. a mattress & a box spring are bedding not solid furniture…… just saying!

Walking in to buy a sofa should not be this frustrating. The sofa was listed at $1799 online, but in-store they had it marked $1899. When I pointed out the price difference, the sales rep hesitated and acted like adjusting it was a big favor. Then I mentioned I had an additional $50 Presidents Sale discount, which clearly states it can be used in-store, and they flat out refused it claiming it was online only. When I pushed back, the rep literally said: “Come on man, I already took off $100.” That’s not customer service that’s attitude. If employees don’t know their own promotions and treat customers like they’re begging for a deal, that’s a problem. Very disappointing experience

Our visit at Ashley Furniture was a good experience. All staff was very friendly and cordial. My wife and I were looking for rugs and chairs. We found everything we were looking for and more. I absolutely love this chair, it’s very strong made from real wood. Looks very good in our living room. We found a rug that matches perfect with our decor. The centerpiece on the table caught my wife’s eye. She wasn’t even looking for centerpieces, but she had to have it. We We would like to thank Phillip for his personal touch and expertise. The only drawback that we found was the shipping cost, as well as the assembly charge for the chair. And if they’re just delivering it and not assembling, and you live in a condo above the first floor, they will leave it at the elevator or the stairs on the first floor, they will not bring it up only if they are assembling the furniture. Will they bring it to your apartment or condominium? The other option is to pick it up from the warehouse yourself bring it home and do the assembling yourself that’s the path I took I saved $180 and they assembly was very easy. But overall We received what we were looking for Without a problem, thank you Ashley furniture thank you Phillipe.

After questioning pricing and offer matching on the Ashley website the manager, Mike, called me “hostile” and was extremely unprofessional. Instead of trying to problem solve and win the sale, he insulted the customer. Extremely unprofessional. Customer service should always be a top priority!

I worked with Valentino on my dining room purchase. He was very easy going. I went in the first time just to look and he left me with his card. When we went in the second time knowing exactly what we wanted he was helpful but yet gave us space to decide what we wanted to do. I additionally bought another piece, a side board but I knew when arrived home I had made a mistake. Valentino had no problem at all canceling that piece. Dave gave us plenty of time to discuss our options without ever making us feel pressured or rushed, even though we ended up staying past closing time. I left feeling genuinely happy with both the customer service and the purchase we made. Highly recommend!

I’m not the type to leave bad reviews, but I had one of the worst experiences making a large purchase at the City Furniture Davie location. What began as shopping for a mattress and pillows turned into hidden fees, misleading sales tactics, back-orders, and credit activity I did not authorize or approve. I was told about a 36-month interest-free financing promotion, which convinced me to open the City Furniture credit card. After purchasing the mattress and pillows, I later discovered extra services (a 3-year in-home service plan) and fees were added to my invoice without my consent. When I added furniture the next day, I was told applying the discount they’d promised would cancel my 36-month financing—something never disclosed up front. When the added fees pushed my balance over my limit, the salesperson suggested calling Synchrony. My credit was then pulled again for a limit increase (they did not disclose this would trigger another soft inquiry), even after I made it clear I’m in the home-buying process. Later, I learned they’d requested yet another increase without telling me—resulting in a third soft pull. On top of that, major items (the chest and then the headboard) turned out to be back-ordered for months—information not shared during the sale. Invoices kept being recreated, charges changed, and I felt pressured to keep the sale rather than have the issues fixed. When I finally canceled, I was met with comments about tariffs and losing my financing promotion. At this point, I have no furniture, my credit has multiple inquiries I didn’t authorize, and I’m extremely disappointed. Buyers beware: double-check every invoice, every fee, and any credit-related action before you sign. invoice and be cautious of hidden fees and tactics at this store.

I am dissatisfied with my recent experience at your Davie location on June 23, 2025. I visited the store to utilize a refund coupon for an unused warranty and selected the DS BREANA GLASS ROUND VASE (invoice 575967/34) priced at $79.99. I had no issue covering the additional $14.99 for the vase, however, upon reviewing the receipt I received via email, I noticed a charge of $10.40 for a 3-year in-home warranty plan. I want to clarify that I did not request this warranty and was not informed I would be charged for it. This situation feels unacceptable and unfair, as I have no need for a warranty on a vase. The paperwork provided with the order states that I need to return to the store to cancel this charge, which is quite inconvenient—I now have to drive 20 miles just to address a charge I was unaware of in the first place. I believe it should be standard practice to confirm with customers whether they want an additional warranty before adding it to the transaction. This lack of communication has left me frustrated, and I expect better transparency in your sales processes. GVW

We had a terrible, frustrating experience with Ashley and would never attempt to do business with this company and especially this location in Davie again. We purchased a new home in central Florida and were looking to buy all new furniture. Our realtor provided us a City Furniture $250 card to use. We walked all through City Furniture and didn't see anything we liked. We found out that Ashley and City were partners or co-owned or whatever so that $250 card would work for Ashley. We scanned the QR code, it asks you to enter in your name and email and in fine print you agree to being spammed for the rest of your life by this promotional card. We were told that there would be an approval and that we would be contacted by a sales associate (within two days). We went to Ashley and we found a sofa bed and we looked to have the credit applied to that order. We were told by the Ashley rep to pay at least the taxes to keep the order processing, we did that, we then went to City and paid the entire balance minus the $250 and then we got a notice that our order was cancelled 2 days before delivery. City is pointing at Ashley to blame them, Ashley is pointing to City AND Ashley is pointing at us. We had the rudest encounter with the manager at Ashley just in the last hour. He is asking why we would give the card to City (because they took it) - he needs to see the card, we explained and demonstrated the process to get the $250 approved. We told him who at City had taken the card, the manager at Ashley was a complete, unprofessional jerk. He told me the City guy would be back in the office tomorrow 12:30 and maybe he knows where he put the card. Anyways - enough with the soap opera we demanded a refund, the manager eventually refunded our paid balance and then turned his back on us. No apology for the terrible treatment, no acknowledgement that the process is flawed. Beware, do not try to do anything with a $250 "gift card" at Ashley OR at City it is nothing but a mess and I suggest Ashley review their staff, their process with City, their customer service, and I hope they learn how to provide customer service. We got our refund so I gave them the second star for that or else this would have been a passionate 1 star dissection

David at the Davie Store went above and beyond to order me a missing piece of a wall unit I had purchased in another Ashley Store. He was terrific and gave me a very good impression of Ashley Furniture Company. Thank you very much.

We were met by Mr Phillip Morrison at the Ashley store in Davie, Fl on 4/28/25. He completely understood our needs regarding living room furniture & showed us comparable pieces to make an informed decision. We definitely recommend this store for its professionalism & customer service.

Dave was very helpful in my search for a new sofa bed.

Like I promised the update: delivery finally done( after they went to a different house, when I confirmed the address at least 4 times via phone and text messages). My home claim still hasn’t been resolved , between pictures, proof of receipts and calls since may 9th, still waiting for a resolution that fits our needs. Takes a lot for this company to take responsibility for their actions. Don't spend the money here, they rush unnecessarily during installation and broke my outdoor lamp also scratched my wall even when is plenty space and they also broke a piece of my crown molding over my entrance ( also with plenty space and was wide open to avoid any difficulties. If this is not enough, 1 of the pieces of the bed came in broken and customer service gives no indication of care. Still waiting for a callback with a resolution.

Ramon was very helpful in our search of looking for a king size mattress. Customer service was definitely given to us upon arrival. He helped us find a mattress within our price range and we were able to try a bunch of mattresses and he gave a lot of feedback on what would be the best suitable one for us to purchase. The purchasing part was easy, he went over all the warranty and details about the delivery of our mattress and we were basically in and out within the hour. Overall a wonderful experience for us. I would also give a shoutout to Sandra who helped us with the payment of our new mattress.

This review is of my buying experience at Ashley, we have not received the products yet. My wife and I came in with our daughters close to closing this evening and we were welcomed by Sandra Z. In other retail stores we’d have received the typical eye roll of last minute customers, especially with kids, but not from Sandra. She was very welcoming and super helpful in guiding us to find barstools. Despite my kids running around to try out each chair, bed, sofa, and ottoman, she was always pleasant and focused on helping us find the right barstools. Ultimately we were able to find something we had not seen online and under budget, which is great as we’re also on the market for a new sofa for our house. We’ll be back for sure and eager to work with Sandra on our next visit. I’m confident the product will be good as we’ve been using a bedroom furniture set from them for almost 10 years. If you come to Ashley, ask for Sandra - she’s great!

We meet the the manager Mike a super nice guy. Update to my review amd why it dropped to 1 star. My delivery driver arrived 3 hours lates. My sales person order the sectional with pieces on the wrong side. So I returned the order. My sales person reddy order correctly but they couldn't schedule my delivery for the next day for inconvenience. They scheduled it fot 4 days later because they don't deliver Mondays nor Sunday (that's Crazy!!) I called several times to customer service and was transferred to Tarif in the escalation department that said there was nothing he can do. I called back to see if there were any cancelations for the next day and he would not take the call. First he was at break later he said he wasn't available. I spoke to someone else and Max and he said there was nothing he can do either. I am stuck with 4 days our for delivery. No accomodation for my inconvenience. Update: furniture was delivered on time and the plate that covers the control for the recliner came broken. The delivery person took a picture and said they closed submit a claim and he didn't. He just sent the picture of the sofa delivered.

I had a great experience shopping at Ashley Furniture store in Davie. I was greeted by Dave Uguccioni, who took the time to hear me out on what I was shopping for. I was looking for a queen size mattress and box set with a frame, and I expressed my budget to Dave, not only was he able to assist me finding the product he also made recommendations that would fulfill my budget. Dave was able to recommend to me the mattress and a queen size frame that did not require a box spring that stood at least 14 inches from the floor which was perfect for under the bed storage. My purchase was cost-effective and a $100 under my original budget. I highly recommend shopping at Ashley Furniture store for any of your home furnishings. Dave and the showroom staff were very polite and I felt very hassle-free when I walked in which was a very pleasant experience for me.

WATCH THE PRICES ONLINE BEFORE!!! We bought a Sectional and 3 tables and after looking prices online prices where at half, asked to the manager Michael to price match, he did agree and after two weeks after calling daily to Valentino who was the sales rep to get the new receipt, never got a response and then they just said they will have to cancel the whole order.
