You are better off buying from Amazon. The worst Customer Service and sales staff ever. They don’t tell you that if For some reason, you are not happy with the product you can’t return it. Customer Service is a nightmare to contact and once you do, they pretty much tell you can’t return the purchase. Sales reps are useless. Jonathan is useless. Nobody in the industry says no to return. Even willing to pay a restocking fee, They still wouldn’t accept. Don’t buy from these people.

Today I went to view some furniture options and Nicole Leslie helped me. She was amazing! Helped me find exactly what I was looking for, was extremely helpful and gave superb customer service. I would highly recommend asking for her!

I recently purchased a chest drawer from Ashley Furniture and was heavily encouraged by the salesperson to buy their "Reguard" 5-year protection plan. They went on and on about how essential it was to "protect my investment," making it sound like a no-brainer. But after dealing with them, I can confidently say – save your money and don’t fall for this scam. When I started having issues with the drawers on my chest, I thought, “No problem, I have a warranty!” But actually getting help was a nightmare. They made me jump through endless hoops: taking countless photos, recording videos, only for them to argue that the issue wasn’t covered. Getting anyone on the phone was like pulling teeth – long holds, transfers, rude service, and a customer service experience that felt more like dealing with a towing company than a high-end furniture store. And when I finally had enough and tried to cancel the service, I was sent to another department and placed on an endless hold. It’s obvious they are hoping you’ll just give up. Ashley Furniture, if you’re reading this, do better. Stop selling customers on a service you have no intention of honoring. For anyone reading, save yourself the headache and skip the warranty. It’s not worth the frustration.

Recently purchased at this location. Sales associate Valentino was great. Answered all my questions and was in and out in no time. Scheduled for Warehouse pickup and that went smooth as well. My table and chairs were well packaged and easy to assemble.

This is my experience with purchasing an ottoman in April 2024 and how Ashley lost me as a customer. After four months, the foam shifted to one side, as shown in the picture, so I filed a warranty claim. I didn’t buy the extended warranty or in-home service because I didn’t think it was necessary for an ottoman. To file a warranty claim, you have to go through their website. A few days later, they call to verify the pictures you uploaded and see if they can process the claim. But wait, they need to send someone from their company to check if the item qualifies for warranty. They charge $50 for this “service,” which is non-refundable. This “service” involves someone coming to your house, inspecting the product, and validating the defects. After an hour, Customer Service calls to inform you that the warranty doesn’t cover “some items” of the product, even though the inspector confirmed it was defective. I didn’t want to waste my time arguing with them, as I value my time more than dealing with customer service. What I learned from this: 1. I will never buy from Ashley again. They lost a customer. 2. Their warranty claim process drains money from customers instead of helping them, leaving you with a defective product and less money. 3. Don’t trust a company that doesn’t trust its customers. Even though the inspector said it was defective, customer service claimed the warranty didn’t cover it due to general wear and tear. Don’t waste your money and time with Ashley. I certainly won’t in the future. What would you do in my situation?

Serena was amazingly helpful. She clearly explained all of the buying options and care package. She got our delivery set up and should be sitting on our new couch in less then three days. We highly recommend her. The store manager also stopped by to make sure all was well with our purchase. Excellent service overall.

Walked into the Ashley HomeStore and was greeted by one of the salesperson. Politely introduced himself as Jonathan. I wanted some information on mattresses and he over delivered with the knowledge of the different types of mattresses and how each one would address my individual need. I ended up with the mattress and base that he recommended. I would definitely go back and seek him out for any additional furniture. He definitely stood out among his peers!!

The sales rep Serena that we worked with was outstanding. She provided us with a number of options for our son’s bedroom purchase. She was very patient and professional with us while we were deciding on the color of our furniture. The completing of the paperwork to purchase was quick and simple. The showroom offered many selections of furniture to choose from. The only negative was that some of the furniture was not in stock and on back order. This is not the first time that this has happened to us. It seems to be a common occurrence with Ashley.

Such false promises and lack of transparency are unacceptable in customer service. Disappointed and dissatisfied with my overall experience.

I have shopped at Ashley’s furniture for over 10 years now, mostly in Texas. I was at this location tonight after work around 7pm, wasn’t busy at all. I pretty quickly found what I was looking for but the sales associate stepped away saying she would be back in a minute. After 30 minutes another sales associate finally came by to say the other lady was helping someone else close a bill and I basically had to go through the entire conversation from scratch with this new person. Overall a frustrating experience and it’s a shame I am now going to have to come back another day to get what I needed. Might try Rooms to Go first.

Located on Sheridan Street just off I-75, this two story home store is quite large. They offer a very good selections. Prices are on par with other similar furniture stores. Staff was friendly and around but didn't follow you through the store. We didn't purchase anything yet so can only speak on the in store experience.

Excellent service received by Jonathan one of the managers. He was very attentive with our needs and found us the perfect sofa and love seat in record time. If I could give a zero star, I would. worst customer service ever for a company. This company is a disgrace. do not buy from Ashley furniture or City Furniture. I have bought multiple times from them not anymore.. You guys have lost a customer for life. Nobody does what they say they’re going to do it has taken me over nine months to get an issue resolved, and on top of that the managers will just hang up on you when you are complaining and frustrated. Not a way to do business. Go spend your money somewhere else even if you have to pay more, the aggravation and headaches are not worth it.

Sales person kept disappearing and we would have to fine him also one of the items I had ordered they did not know a eta and did not notify us at all until I went to City Furniture and they were helpful enough to advise us so we changed items.

Extremely bad experience with the Davie store. The sales person promised to revert the home delivery charges if I called back on Friday. When I did call her she turned back on her word and refused to accept her promise and commitment. When asked to speak to the Manager he was very rude and banged the phone on my face. I plan to take this to the consumer forum and file an official compliant with the manager. Do not trust their word. They turn back after the sale and behave like arrogant owners.

Worst confirmation services for delivery window!!! We just bought a sofa set from this Ashley store and were advised we would get a delivery window of 3hrs the day prior to delivery no later than 8pm day prior. At 830pm we had not received an time slot so i called this store were we bought our set and advised of the issue, and asked if they can assist. Guy the GM at the store advised that we were set for tomorrow with no time. I told him i cant just stay home all day waiting for furniture and he advised that someone just has to be home to receive it from 9pm to 6pm. He advised that he cant control the appointment window and wanted us to check back in the morning...really the day of delivery ?!?!?. Last time i checked most people have to work for a living and plan their day with some sort of notice to adjust and not just wait for the same day and hope for a time. There was no assistance from the "GM" can only imagine how he manages his staff. I was hoping for assistance and all i received on my call to the store was more frustration. Better places to spend your hard earned money than here.

Make sure you get ‘in writing’ what they will haul away before the sale. They told me they would pick up my old sofa when delivering the new one, but they apparently do not. Will end up paying to have my sofa removed on top of the cost of the purchase now.

If I could give this store zero stars I would. I purchased a set of dining room chairs which one broke the first time it was used. Contacted the store and they couldn't offer assistance. Their invoice states all furniture is under manufacturer warranty for one year from date of purchase. However, when I called, I was told they could not honor warranty because I now reside in Illinois even though I told the salesperson I would be moving from Florida to Illinois. They reassured me they have stores in Illinois and that it would not be an issue. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM for a repeat customer. Poor quality furniture at an expensive price point. Do yourself a favor and give your business to a reputable company not City Furniture. You will end up paying more in the long run either in replacing pieces or ending up with broken furniture. Their supposedly "management" in customer care have no sense of leadership integrity. The gentleman that spoke with me sounded like he was sedated.

Valentino was very helpful when looking for new living room and bed room furniture. He made the selection process easy and enjoyable.

UPDATE: I originally gave this store 5 stars, however, the couch I purchased from this store in (June 2023) is by far the WORST piece of furniture I have ever bought. I paid $2200 for it and haven't even owned it for a year, and it is ready for the TRASH. The fabric is itchy and pills everywhere. I noticed it after only 10 days and called the store to complain, only to be sold the "fabric warranty" for another $250 because they said I could always get it replaced. However, being a POOR QUALITY PIECE OF JUNK does not qualify and they won't do anything. I owned my last couch for 15 years and then gave it to a friend because there was still life left in it. This couch.....7 months!!!!! I would never shop at this store and advise you to go elsewhere.

Great experience at Ashley buying a couch. I had some very specific needs because of my hallway height and they provided multiple options for me to chose from. I had ordered something online (that I had to put together and cost $1700 from a company called Burrow- which was horrible- so I had to take it apart and pay to return it- what a disaster!) when I came to Ashley they made recommendations, and really listened to my needs. The selection was great with lots to chose from and I found what I wanted in stock. Best part, the couch was delivered fully assembled within 3 days. 5 stars, highly recommend!!!

I went to the store in Davie,Fl to reselect a mattress that I had bought and it was defective. I was approach by this sale lady Valeska and I told her why I was there . She was incredibly so nice and helpful. She took us around the store and showed us the mattress and I decided to give the same mattress another chance. But I have to say this lady by the name Valeska De Langton was the best sell lady i have ever come across in Florida . She was super sweet and nice . Had the patience and energy with me to get this done . I really have to acknowledge her service . If you ever need to buy furniture from Ashley in Davie ask for her. I also have to say that Ashley furniture the company has the best service in the state of Florida.

We ordered a couch and loveseat from Ashley furniture. Upon delivery, my husband was having a medical emergency. I had to make a quick decision to have the delivery guys place the items in the garage in hopes that the company would be understanding and come back when things were stable to complete delivery. Unfortunately, this company has no compassion and is refusing to have their guys come back out (I would be willing to even pay another delivery fee). I was really put in a bad situation at the time of delivery, I had no other choice. Thanks so much for your compassion Ashley Furniture. You just lost a long time customer.

Editing my review to reflect resolution of my concerns. Be VERY careful when ordering. Free shipping does not include assembly (they didn't mention this in the store to me). Eventually, Ashley / City furniture made it right and sent a driver to assemble the furniture. It's a good thing they did, because one of my pieces was damaged. They had to send a repair person out to confirm that the piece was unrepairable, then schedule another delivery. All in all, the process took three weeks (after my initial delivery, which took five months for my back-ordered item). In the end I have two pieces of furniture I am pleased with.

I did not expect to find what I was looking for there, but I found much more than a product. I found excellent service, quality products, and with advantages that are difficult to match. We purchased a bedroom set and power recliners back in June of this year. The store is well maintained and there are many choices. However, I recommend that you make your final purchases online, from their website. Their sales reps just want to make a quick sale and when you have any issues (after purchase) they want to pass you off to another sales person. Additionally, we had several delivery issues where they delivered a product that was damaged and it took 3 additional attempts, after I had to send emails with proof of the damages. Not to mention they damaged our custom blinds and we had to pay for them to be fixed. When I reached out (via phone) about this, they offered to send someone out(from Ashley) to fix it, I refused. During one of the deliveries, I attempted to tell the delivery person that the item was damaged and I was refusing delivery, they DID NOT take the item back and just left without a word, so I had to call customer service to resolve. Most of their delivery personnel are rude. It was only the last and successful delivery (after 3 previously failed attempts) where the delivery person apologized for our troubles even though that weight did not belong to him. One particular sales person is not very well trained on how to use the tablet to place orders nor on how to include promotional sales in the final invoice. I am now having to contact the promotional company myself because the sales person did not identify our purchases, with the proper promotional code, even though we are entitled to the promotion. All she said was, "just grab the paper with the information and call them", that was incorrect information. We will not be returning to this Ashley Furniture location as our experience ended up leaving us quite sour to this Ashley Furniture location.

We went in to look at a king adjustable bed and mattress. Jonathan Perez met us upon coming in the store and greated us very professionally. Upon finding what we needed he took his time and explained all the features of the different frames and had us try several mattresses. He was very informative but never pushy. He worked up several combinations to find what would give us the more bang for our bucks. We ended up buying the bed and frame along with a leather dual recliner sofa. Would recommend Jonathan anytime.

I found my experience shopping in Ashley to be a pleasant one. The salespeople were helpful but not pushy or aggressive. The layout of the store was effective because everything was displayed according to design style. Plan on going back for more pieces. The one downside is that the bed that I want is on back order. If not for that I would have given them a five.

I made a substantial purchase with Ashley on 7/25, since we were remodeling our apartment we were ok to have it delivered later. When they sent us an email that they were going to deliver our furniture minus the coffee table and end tables that they would be on back order. We then went to the store and spoke our sales associate and we were told that those tables had recently been discontinued (yet we were told by email that they were on back order). We then picked out a new set of tables and everything was to be delivered today August 16 which it was. One of the 5 canvases that I purchased came and it looks like it was taken out of someone’s home, it was not wrapped it’s dirty and the top is sticky. We told our sales associate and she told us that we had to contact customer care within 24 hours. We have been calling customer care line, it’s been an extremely long wait so the recording says we can leave our name and number and get a call back we have not heard from them so we decided to call back and wait, after about half hour of waiting we were hung up on. I needed to purchase a dining set and a bedroom set but I think I will be going elsewhere. All is good when you first get to Ashley and buy, after that you are on your own. I also purchased a tempurpedic mattress which is pretty expensive , and it was delivered and on the side it looked like it had been hit by something, Again we were told we had to.make a claim and a technician had to take a look at it. He came in today and said we had received a defective mattress that we would be contacted by customer care. They called us and to our inconvenience they said they were going to change the mattress but we had to wait a week…. This to ne is not service. I do want to thank ARGENIS GRAISEN the mattress department because he tried his best to get them to change our mattress on the same day we went to purchase our end tables, but he was unable to. He did try his best.

Good experience overall but far too much pressure to sell the in-home service plan. I was asked 6 times in total! I also had to ask 3 times for it to be removed from the quotations. I understand they are tasked to sell this but asking twice is the limit: not keep asking and asking until one says yes. There appears to be an unfair level of pressure placed on staff to sell this. The girl who helped us, Juli, was very nice and helpful but looked particularly sad that we didn’t take that plan and that seemed to overshadow the 2,000 dollars we spent. This whole service plan experience really does destroy the sales process and the relationship. I did end up purchasing like I say but really did perceive frustration that i didn’t take the plan and that isn’t good at all

BEWARE: incredibly shady sales staff and management team. BETTER PRICES ON THE WEBSITE. The staff here will provide price promises, get you to sign and will then not honor the price agreed upon. After the transaction was done, I was told the sales staff "entered the wrong price" and that I needed to drive back and finish payment. No admitting their mistake, no apology. The management told me "just buy it!". In absolute disbelief at the employees here, no wonder the store is always empty. Stay as far away as you possibly can.

Literally I have been waiting since November 2021 until today to cancel my order I can imagine how long I need to wait… Yesterday I received a call of a representative That supposedly would help me… told me I need to wait 10 minutes and I will receive a call of another one. I am still waiting… I call today again and now I need to wait 1 hour more because I want to cancel my order… Terrible service and more! BEWARE!! I feel completely scammed. I was pressured into purchasing the warranty for the furniture, about $700 worth. If the warranty wasn't used, it could be swapped for store credit. In 2020, my chair was broken so I decided to use my warranty. Here I am, May 2022 and STILL have a broken chair. I figured at this point I'll just swap it for the credit and was told that I already utilized the warranty. According to the supervisor, making the phone call counts as a service EVEN THOUGH NO ONE FIXED THE CHAIR! I essentially paid $700 for a 10min phone call.

I made a purchase on April 26,2022, I bought many items . A dining room set and full size bed with mattress and box spring . I was told that the box spring was going to be the first item delivered to me because it was in stock and not on back order , it was a clearance item and so I went ahead and purchased it . Come to find out , we are May 17,2022 , the box spring has been the last item I have received when in fact I was confirmed that it was going to be my first item due to it being in stock at the warehouse . I have been asked to rescheduled the delivery 4 times , I have been given delivery confirmation dates with arrival times , and on the same day of the delivery ; the shipment is cancelled stating that the item is on back order . I called customer service at this store and was told that the only thing they can offer me is to provide me a box spring that will be $69 more than the one I paid for . How is this the only thing you can do for me? This is not a solution? This has been a waste of time because I have to make sure I’m home to receive my items and my delivery has been cancelled on me 4x after it being confirmed . Horrible service ; never again will I shop here . Next time , just be honest with the customer and say that the clearance items are not guaranteed and they are first come first served . Don’t sale items that you don’t have in stock and have the person wait 3 weeks in a half for it . Do better please !

Went last Wednesday to see a living room set and received it Friday morning. Second time we buy furniture here. Last time January 2007.

On January 6, 2022 I ordered a chest of drawers. I was told it would not be in until April 2022. Actually April 7th. Here we are in May and no chest nor a call from Ashley Home Store. We have been making payments since February. Not one call from the store. If we had not paid so much toward the chest we would cancel the order. We still may cancel if we can get our money back from Synchrony bank. Again terrible service.

Order a dinning room set since December . They fail delivery of complete set. I will not accept until complete. 5 months waiting for not recommend buying . To add insult I’m paying for merchandise I have not received

The experience in-store was fantastic, salesman was great and all but of course that's the case until you make your purchase. I purchased a 5 piece sectional back in October of 2021 and still have not received 2 of the pieces. For paying such a hefty price you would think that there would be some sense of urgency with the delivery. I frequently check the status of the 2 remaining pieces and the dates are constantly changing. From first week of January (that we were told at purchase) now to mid March and many different dates in between, one date including this weekend February 4th. When I have called to voice my concerns I'm given the "dates are subject to change" workaround yet I'm paying full price for furniture that I still don't have. The way its going I'd be surprised if I get the pieces by the end of the year. Its a shame because my wife and I love the couch so much yet its incomplete. I would not suggest buying furniture unless you're willing to wait a year for it.

I have always found what I needed at Ashley Furniture Store. The furniture is of great quality.

I received my bedroom at 1 year ago. I purchased it with a $800 rebate that was suppose to be mailed after I set up automatic payments. ASHLEYS CORPORATE HAS STILL NOT SENT THE REBATE. Their customer service has been unable to reach corporate and no one has been able to help for over a year. This is completely unacceptable and I will never buy from them again.

I spent $5000 in store on Dec 4th. Was given a whole song and dance how much better the company is today and that their customer service is so much better after multiple poor experiences with this company in Florida. Fast forward to my delivery on Dec 9th. Paid for premium delivery, did not receive and they scratched my brand new floors that had been installed the week prior. I immediately called the store and was told to file a claim online. Can't get anyone to answer the phone when you call the customer support number. The fact that it takes 48 hours for someone to respond is unacceptable. Fast forward to Dec 13th, still haven't gotten a call and am way past the 48 hour window. Call customer service but after waiting on hold for more than 30 minutes I give up and call the store again. While I am on the phone with the store and told they can't do anything someone calls and leaves me a voicemail from Ashley furniture with just the generic customer service number that no one answers. I check the status of my claim on Dec 14th and find it was closed out without actually speaking with me so I now open a second claim. I call the store upset and am appalled that they have no escalation path to follow, they get paid for the sale but drop the customer. Dec 15th I actually get a call and provide the last all the information. She asked for. She offered a measly $100 which is ridiculous it will cost more to repair my new floors and she says someone will come out to inspect and get the repair going. I check on the claim on Dec 17th to find it has once again be closed out. I now submit my claim a third time online. I call the store again upset that I am making zero progress they transfer me to customer service and all that person does is tell me to send an email and open a fourth claim. The sales associate was supposed to call me back and hasn't. The manager told me Friday he would send me an email confirming cancelling the in home warranty and that didn't happen, no way I am keeping if you can't even take responsibility for damage you cause and I have wasted hours trying to get it resolved with zero progress. Let's add that multiple times I have called customer service and after waiting and waiting had to jump on a conference call for work and could no longer wait and selected the call back feature. When someone would finally call hours later they would say they would help but then dump me back into the queue waiting on hold. It's impossible to get customer service on the phone. I want my new floors fixed that their delivery drivers carelessly scratched. I will never buy another item from Ashley's again. I have more furniture to buy in January but will go somewhere else.

Buyer beware! If there is a problem it’s impossible to get anyone from Customer Care on the phone. I had furniture delivered on Dec 9th and had new floors installed the week before. The delivery drivers scratched my new floors. I immediately submit a damage claim. Multiple attempts to customer service and store have been fruitless. Find out on Dec 14th that the first damage claim was closed out without anyone be speaking to me. Opened a new damage claim. Someone finally calls me on Dec 15th, offers a measly $100 when the labor and repair will cost much more. Was supposed to receive an email and someone was supposed to contact me for the repair team, none of that happened. Go in today and again the damage claim has been closed and just had to enter a new one. Trying to call into customer care is impossible, no one answers. If you select the option to have someone call you back when they finally call you back hours later all they do is dump you back into the wait for customer care. The store only sends email. I have brand new floors that were scratched and no one is assisting and pointing fingers. They do t follow through. Don’t buy any extra warranties, it’s impossible to get help on the phone.

This is the worst experience I have ever had buying furniture. Over the last 2 weeks I have been on hold for a total of 4 hours. My delivery date was 11/30, then 12/3- the delivery truck driver called the day before saying he was at the warehouse and did not see my order, 12/5, 12/7, 12/14- the delivery truck came and I watched them step on furniture and climb on furniture looking for my cabinet. It wasn't on the truck. Why are they selling things they do not have? On 11/27 when I paid for the cabinet in-store, they had 10 in the warehouse. Supposedly, one was reserved for me but now it's backordered. Then three were damaged. It's a different story every time. Called the store to speak to the associate who I bought it from and the associate who answered was no help and in fact escalated our conversation to an argument and kept telling me how he had to wait 3 months for his furniture to be delivered!? What does that have to do with him contacting the warehouse to see if my item is really there or not? Honestly, wondering if he wanted me to cancel my order. It's not his commission anyways. They are the worst. If you have a problem...and you will. They can not solve it. Awful system. And it was $100 cheaper online. SMH. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

No one seems to know what's going on I've made server so phone calls ans spoke with multiple people, all I get is I'm sorry to hear this we will help, but NOTHING. I've had to even reach out to the corporate office and still waiting for a response. A pure nightmare, STAY AWAY ! I would say -10 stars really!!!

We had a fabulous experience at the Davie location of Ashley Furniture. We interacted with various staff members - mainly with Val and Tatiana - and they very all welcoming and helpful in answering all our questions. We particularly enjoyed being given our space while we looked around, and then when we were ready so were they. We left very happy with our purchase, and will definitely be coming back for any of our furniture needs.

I will never purchase anything from here again. The worst return policy on accessories. Poor customer service and unwillingness to help. The store I visited is in Pembroke Pines,Fl. What a joke. Never again.

I'm highly disappointed with the timelines with Ashley furniture. I have been buying over 90% of my furniture in Ashley since 2015. Having said that, its a disrespect to me and my family that we have waited since July 2nd for a dining table that has yet to arrive. See, i don't mind if I'm told ahead of time that we do not know when your product will arrive due to supply chain issues and we will charge you after we receive your product. However, the fact that i paid cash and was told that i would receive my product by august and its the middle of October and i have yet to hear back from them its an utter disrespect and down right terrible customer service. Even after everything, i call to obtain a status update and customer care will not even respond the calls. I was on the phone for over 45 mins and the call was literary cutoff with no response. I will flat-out say I will not purchase any more furniture from Ashley ever again!!!!

Let me share my experience! Everyone in the store had great customer service, my sales rep was very patient and took his time to help me pick out furniture‘s for my new home. After selecting a dining room and a couch that comes with a chase, my sales rep informed me that two of my items are on back order. Let’s keep in mind I purchase these items in July 2021. We’re now in September 2021 and part of my furniture‘s were delivered. To make a long story short, I called the store today 9/14/2021 to check on the status of the remaining pieces of my furniture and I was informed that my order was canceled. The Representative on the phone told me she was going to transfer me to customer service, which is a different department from in the store. I was on hold for two hours before a representative from customer service came on the phone. I have the screenshot that I’m posting as well with their phone number on it, as proof. Do these people really think it’s fair or even right to have a customer on hold for TWO hours. I asked them to come and pick up every single piece of furniture that I’ve purchased from them and I want a total refund.

My furniture shopping experience today at Ashley Homestore in Davie was excellent. Sara, the sales representative, was attentive but not overbearing, knowledgeable, patient and pleasant. The selection of furniture was very good and sales prices/special financing made buying an easy decision. I highly recommend a visit there to check out their great offers.

I'm only giving one star because I have no other choice to give less! My family moved to Florida and my parents bought a couch, a dining room set, a kitchenette and a full bedroom set from Ashleys /City Furniture. When the Dining Room Set was supposed to be delivered they had my parents wait all day and it was never delivered because their staff was not able to follow through with the delivery. My father had to goto the warehouse and bring it home himself and put it together himself and was never reimbursed a delivery fee. Today my dad was supposed to receive the kitchenette. The guard at the gate in his community called to grant access for the delivery and no one ever showed up. I called customer service to report the incident and schedule a new delivery date. Customer service then tells me that their order was canceled and waiting to be delivered to the next customer who was waiting for the item. I then asked to speak to a supervisor who went on to list all of the Furniture that has not been delivered due to delays and back orders (didn't ask about that) and then tells me that the set we were suppose to receive today won't be delivered until October 17th. She had no desire to make things right. Wasn't necessarily looking for money just for us to get the kitchenette at a reasonable date. Certainly won't be ordering any furniture from here again !

Purchased a bedroom set from Ashley's and after having it a year one of the sides of the headboard became unstable and broke. Contacted customer service and the part was replaced with screws barely put correctly. After a week of the repair the same issue happened again. Contacted customer service once again for repair and the technician said its unrepairable due to it already being fixed once and the holes being made in other spots. Was contacted by Ashley's a month ago to set up a date for the delivery of a new set just to find out on the day of the delivery which was yesterday that they are on back order and have to wait till October. The customer service truly isn't the best.

NEVER BUY FROM THIS PLACE, We ordered a bunk bed about 2 months ago, When we placed our order for the bed they said that they would contact us one day and a couple of hours before they come to drop off and fix the bed. Instead they gave us NO warnings and came while we didn't know the date or time they were coming. So we of course, were not ready for them to build the bed. We rescheduled the fixing date and instead they dropped of the bed and left without fixing it. Later, on the rescheduled date they came to fix the bed again however they informed us that Ashley shipped us the wrong screws. This already was starting to get annoying. In about 2 weeks we got sent 2 packages with the right screws. After 1 week they were supposed to come again to finally fix the bed, But they got delayed by 2 days once again. After they finally came and fixed the bed. It had multiple dents and giant pieces of wood chipped of it. And when the repairmen were about to leave we saw one of the pieces of wood was very loose, they completley forgot to put one screws on making the wood loose. We called them back, they fixed the issue however the bed quality still remained crappy. A used bed could have been better than this crap.😡

Second couch in 3 years with nails/ metal sticking out. Won’t come and repair as we didn’t buy the 3 year extended warranty. That tells you something right there, they don’t expect it to last much longer! They only took back the first couch because I cut myself badly.

I drive over 2 hours to my new home only to find out that they don't have my furniture to deliver today as set and told it was ready for delivery. Was told it wasn't even in the country. Where is it ? The can't say but was told maybe tomorrow. Super vague and un cool to have someone show up for a set day a time. Was told well you can have your money back. That doesn't make me feel better. Of course I could have money back. What about all the time I spent to purchase and set up delivery to my new home and drive 2 plus hours spending Memorial day by myself with no furniture. Thanks not happy. Yes it's memorial day so I'll be thankful for those whom sacrificed all.

My family purchased a living room set last Marchfrom Ashley Furniture. Not long after we noticed one of the sofas caved in between the 2 cushions. Well the pandemic hit and we had to wait a year for things to go back to normal. It took two tries to get the sofa but Ashley Furniture made it right and we couldn't be happier. I have gone to this store on 2 different occasions. Both times I was not greeted no one came to see if I needed help even after asking if I can get assistance I was told someone will be with me and 15 mins later I left without being helped. Sad thing is the only bed my daughter likes is one in that store, which is why I went back a 2nd time but I refuse to spend my money in that store. And I dont see that bed online. I've never been to a furniture store and not helped. Very bad customer service. I'm very disappointed

I ordered a table on 5/5 from in store (this location). Table was to be delivered on 5/7. On confirmation, I notified the address was incorrect on my order so I called the store associate I dealt with and he said computer must have glitched. He would update and order would be delivered now on 5/10. I took the day off on 5/7 since all wood table and it was going to rain to make sure it could be deliver inside garage and safe and even hired a helper. Now again I take off today 5/10 for receipt of table. I have no confirmation so I called customer care for an update and they said the order was cancelled all together. Wow glad I called!!! Now I have to wait 48hrs for accounting to fix invoice and find another delivery date after accounting update. Can’t even get a refund until they fix the invoice if I decided to cancel the order altogether for another 48hrs. Also, I took off work today (now two days) for delivery of this table and no delivery. This has been extremely poor customer service and communication and I lost two days at work for it. To the associate and customer care team not a big deal, but to the average worker using my leave for no reason is frustrating. Now still no table and unknown if I will get an update. We have always bought from Ashley and this is now upsetting....

It was my first time into the store the staff was welcoming and let you feel like you belong there. I liked the fact that they were not pushing anything on you and was very honest when communicating with my sales rep.. My rep was Francisco Morales which was amazing in explaining everything to us. Which I like. He was honest and sincere and I do appreciate him for that.

Bought a living room set from them a year ago and paid $346 for an in home service agreement. 3 months later, the springs in the loveseat collapsed. 9 months now of calls, emails, sending pictures. Not one return call or email.Edited. Within 5 minutes of this post I was contacted by a rep and got the ball rolling. Changing my review from 1 to 4 stars.

This local store and the employees are great. However the quality of their furniture is terrible and Ashley furniture as a company is not accommodating at all. Below is my review left on their site. I bought this bed a few months back and was very happy with the style. The quality of the bed's construction is absolutely terrible. It broke within two months and my wife and I are both less than 160 pounds. The bed sides are made from MDF and the screws that hold the metal bracket on the inside pull out because of the angled legs. I propped the bed up temporarily with some legs I made so we wouldn't end up on the floor while sleeping. Ashley furniture now says I voided my warranty because of the legs I made. Overall not happy at all with the bed or Ashley furniture as a company.

I met with Christy at Ashley Furniture . She has an awesome demeanor and good decor skills. She was patient and helped me pick a perfect selections for my home. I actually enjoyed the experience. I will contact her for my next visit.

I am changing my review of this place never again buying at Ashley it took 3 times to get the parts that were not damaged. Customer service and managers response did not care about my issues or getting it corrected. Stay away from buying there.

I don't usually leave reviews, but after my experience with Aieysha and Guy at the Ashley Home Store in Davie, Florida, I felt compelled to share my experience. To give some background, I just drove across the country from, Seattle to Florida and got rid of my furniture prior to coming. Needless to say, as with most moves, this involved a great deal of stress. There's the stress of preparing to move. The stress of leaving friends and loved ones behind, and the stress of acclimating to a new environment, to name a few. I have had wonderful experiences with Ashley products before and decided to find a location near me. How lucky was I when I entered the location and was greeted by the angel formerly known as Aieysha. She had a really warm and welcoming energy about her. She introduced herself and inquired on what I was hoping for, and did all this in a very non-pushy way. She was patient and provided me with many options. I mean, I do not like shopping, AT ALL, but furniture buying usually takes time. Time I didn't have as I wanted to set up my new place as soon as possible for some sense of normalcy. My financing was set up in quick time and the shopping experience was a treat. Aieysha also introduced me to her Manager, Guy, who was surely a wonderful example of customer service for Aieysha to learn from. I cannot thank you enough for welcoming me into your location and for such an incredibly positive shopping experience. I look forward to my new furniture in the next few days, and will be sure to come by when I need to add a few more pieces. You are both valued and appreciated.

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THEM!!! I ordered on Oct. 23rd and was told 6 weeks. When they showed up there was no couch as it was on back order ( never got a courtesy call). They also didn't have my five piece table accessories. They told me I already got them which I have not. I was told I would get my couch on Dec. 19th. I made my monthly payment today and called them to see if it could come earlier. They told me no and that it was pushed out to Dec 31st. and that was not even guaranteed just a suggestion on their part. I have called the store 5 times and the manager is always out to lunch or in a meeting. I also emailed my sales associate and he never replied. They are scam artist and at this point I am going to seek legal action! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! It is unacceptable!

Horrible service. We have been waiting two months for our couch. When we ordered it we were promised a one month delivery, then for two days of mild rain from the hurricane the delivery was off put for another month. Now, because of Black Friday, we have to wait yet another month for one of our couches to be delivered. Even though I had been waiting since October, the sales of Black Friday were made a priority costing me my couch. Horrible service so not recommend buying from Ashleys. I have family in orlando who had they’re furniture delivered broken and the ashley employees would not return them.

(Amended review): +1 star for friendly and professional delivery staff, and all furniture arrived on schedule as ordered. City Furniture's customer service was very solicitous since the original review, but sorry to say we never did hear back from anyone at the store. We were left no choice but to return to the store just to get answers to our questions. Ended up speaking with the same sales associate who would not return our calls or emails, but he only pointed the finger at his manager. Shame, because a simple returned phone call or email would have been such an easy way to avoid a negative review. Only 2 stars because... The sales staff was helpful and friendly when we were in the store making a purchase. However, I have tried to reach them with a concern about my order and they have been non-responsive. Sales associate will not return calls and tells me to contact via email, but has not replied to email either. I asked to speak with a manager, but got the busy holiday weekend run-around, and was even told they are busy with customers. Am I not also a customer?? If you buy from the Davie, FL store, check your order carefully before you walk out, because that may be your last chance to speak with anyone. It is very frustrating, but seems I will have to return to the store to speak with someone.

Justin was an amazing help to me and my boyfriend who have just moved into our first house together BUT the furniture and the sales representative wasn't the issue...after already going through so much work with moving into our new home we decided to pay the delivery people to build our stuff to ease some work off of us son de we've been doing so much work to the house...that was a HORRIBLE idea they were EXTREMELY careless with our furniture that we spent well over 2 thousand dollars in CASH on!!!! First when they delivered our dresser they damaged it and had to bring back a new one a week later, then once our bed set arrived (after a month of purchasing it) they built it & left so we checked over there work as we found almost EVERY screw was loose, it was built sloppy and incorrect we had to unscrew their work and fix it ourselves and each screw they put in was in the wrong place and they were the incorrect size so we ended up having to go take all their screws out and just do it ourselves. I then called corporate to complain and get my money back just for JUST THE INSTALLATION part, not the entire set or anything like that it was LITERALLY JUST THE INSTALLATION PART because we've had to basically build everything over ourselves so it was properly assembled & corporate then proceeded to say that they CANNOT give us a full refund & that the best they could do if a $75 gift certificate to spend at their store!!! When a customer pays CASH for an item that is not the proper way to keep a customer returning to a business that experienced horrible service with the furniture installation being assembled and delivered. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY OR CITY FURNITURE AGAIN! HORRIBLE customer service I do not advise anyone to let those delivery people install their purchases!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I wanted to give this store half of star the customer service its been really irritating. We bought a dinning table not less than a year ago. Three of the chairs broken and unstable, my mom called for them to come and exchange the broken dining table and they told her they do not offer exchange for a broken product. Instead, they came to our house and "try to fix it". This been going for almost a year. This is really disappointing for this store they spent tons of money for this dinning table yet the service was wish store quality. Customer service terrible and unprofessional for an "high quality store."

My experience at the davie location was terrible. The table set I wanted to purchase was marked at 300plus with the website price being 246. When I brought this up they kindly price matched my item. But to my surprise they tagged on a protection plan without asking or my knowledge of it bringing my total to 294. Sheron Cameron bewry also Informed me that if I had it delivered to my apartment that the shipment would be left on the first floor of an apartment complex which to me is unacceptable .when I found out I could simply order through ashleys website at 264 total shipped to my door directly I decided to do a return . The woman sheron who helped me that was so kind to me when I was purchasing had an attitude shift after I explained I wanted to return my item. She didn’t even offer to match the service they had online and then hit me with the reason why I paid more for the item being the protection plan. Extremely unprofessional .

My wife and I were just looking to get some new ideas for remodeling and new furniture. We looked at everything... then just about the last thing we looked at...fell in love with a bedroom set, and with the help of the manager and trainee, we customer made our bedroom set. They were very helpful and pleasant. I bought a sofa from Ashley Furniture on July 5th and they promise me that they would deliver it on July 13th. Today is August 18th and I have not received it yet. Each time I call them (because they do not call you) they set a new delivery date (4 times to date) and they haven't comply. This company is completely irresponsible and I won't buy nothing again from them. I just want to get my sofa (the last update said that I should receive it on August 22nd) and forget this company. If you need something immediately, DO NOT contact them, because probably they won't assist you.

Stay away from them!!! Worst experience ever! Bought a king size bed and a king size memory foam mattress last month. It started off with the mattress not straightening to how it’s supposed to be. The bottom part of it was curved up. Getting a hold of customer care has been an absolute nightmare! Hours of waiting for someone to pick up. If you leave a number to call you back - they never do! A MONTH later they sent a replacement and then we find out by the installers who delivered it that It’s actually the wooden bed rails that are defective. We could actually see how bent they are (curve upwards) which makes the whole lower part of the mattress bounce up. Another two hours on the phone to have someone from customer care pick up and now I have to wait another two weeks for someone to come look at it! Store managers tell you to deal with customer care directly. Then customer care treat you like another number on their list and don’t care about how frustrated you are. This experience is absolutely unpleasant and I do not recommend shopping with them!
