This is one of the best furniture stores in N Federal Highway, which is saying something because there's a lot! There are so many different styles, everything is so well organized, and prices are very reasonable. We were assisted by JP, who was AMAZING!! He was so kind, funny, honest, and helpful! Horrible and dangerous for my health. I order the bed that’s looks very nice in the store, bring in my home and the bed smells toxic, very bad that I was sick and got to the hospital ,after Talking to the manager that make a appointment to come the professional person to check .The person check and give a report that’s the fabric headband was toxic and did the atmosphere that you can not breathe even I had open the window all the time. We call the store and they did not want to give the money back, they didn’t wanted to get back the bed . After a lot hours in the phone they decided to come and take back the bed, to return the money back. do you now why? because was so dangerous for the health, the toxic product can kill everyone who is in the room.In another situation you never get the money back.

Horrible ...do not go our purchase!!! I got my delivery in 2 section when I get the second half my sectional didn't fit. I tried to CALL TO return an unused section of the sectional and told I was unable to. Asked for manager and was told Sanika Golden was not available for calls. I said till when and the representative Cristian didn't know I asked to be placed on hold to wait. I don't suggest purchasing anything from here. They have a no return policy even though the website says different. They will not work with you and they are not helpful. Take you business else where!!

He asked for pictures of the chairs we have now so that he could help color coordinate them. It’s all coming today, sofa and a rug and I’m very excited. We haven’t had a new sofa in many years so I hope this one holds up as well as our last one.

Excellent service from the moment you step in the door, no hassling and asking for what you’re looking for… Mikayla gave us complete leisure to browse the showroom a get a sense to find something we were looking for. Worked with us to get the ideal configuration we wanted. 5/5 experience would recommend.
I am only giving 3 stars due to delivery. My sales agent PETA was great and apologize if this reflects her score. My delivery was suppose to take place between 3-6 . I received a phone call and text message at 415 stating crew will be arriving in 15 min. It is currently 610no one has showed or responded back to my messages as for an update. I guess this what you get for paying Premium delivery of $292.00 Update 10/17 After 2 additional deliveries. I finally received my all furniture. On the second delivery , driver left garbage in my elevator. Called City/Ashley furniture to get refund of Premium delivery service of 292.00. Aske to speak to supervisor today after 35 min Lesste tells me supervisor is not available and I can receive a call back with in 24 hours. I told this was joke. Current still on hold after 43 min still no supervisor. Forgot to mention I was to get a call back fro 2 different store manages. Still waiting on a call from both of them.

Sebastian was the freaking best I have been looking for a couch for weeks and he was so pleasurable and so relax provided all info he listened to what I wanted and did everything he could find me what I wanted and not pushy at all just really seemed like he cared to help me get exactly what I wanted and that’s very rare in these types of situation with sales reps that are normal pushy and make you uncomfortable I felt comfortable to tell him what I could afford and could not and I felt he wanted more information from me with all his questions to make sure I get what I want instead of trying to use that info to sell me. He built Rapport on accident and we were having such a great time finding me my dream couch I found it and I bought it and I will go back to him for the rest of my furniture I highly suggest when you go to ask for Sebastian and if he is busy wait for him you will not regret AMAZING experience 1000 stars!!!! You the man Sebastian thanks again and see you in a few weeks for my bed etc!
I am very satisfied with Ashley Furniture's service. From the first visit they took excellent care of us. Sebastian helped us find our sofa. It took us a week to make a decision, and during that time, he was always present and attentive to any needs we had. He is an excellent employee! I received my sofa this weekend in perfect condition. The delivery process was also super convenient and organized.

Very poor quality furniture for the price. Don’t let the delivery and installation guys rush out, look over everything. They definitely are going to make a mistake and there will be a defect or damage in your new cheap furniture. If you do not mention it then, you have no claim to anything. They will say you should have got the protection plan, which is a huge rip-off, and it doesn’t really cover anything. The sales team was great though, they are the only reason i gave 2 stars.
Great experience here purchasing furniture for my new apartment. Sam the floor manager is great and I was so pleased to be set up with Danny, who is more than a salesman, he is now a friend. It’s been a minute since Ive gone into a store to even look, let alone buy furniture. I expected to take a look around and then buy the item online myself when it fit my schedule. I anticipated being swarmed by sales associates and so I was armed with my “I just want to look around” answer but all my preparation did no good because I didnt need to use it. Not only is the showroom well put together and welcoming, the “sales” team was even better. The store manager came over and introduced himself, shook my hand, and told me what I should be expecting from his team - No one followed me around waiting to be called on (unless I wanted them to) which was a breath of fresh air and instead I had someone who was assigned to me to nake sure I was good - Mikayla! Mikayla is amazing. Not only is her positivity infectious, she anticipates your question and seems to always be a step ahead so that before you even know what your next question is, she answers it and has examples and alternate options ready to show you. She listens to what you want/ need, shes real with you when it comes down to something working or not, she gives you options, not obstacles, and shes fun to even be around. She made shopping for a sofa, dare I say, fun! From my entrance, to my exit and to my purchase being delivered next Saturday, the Ashley Team made this easy and exciting. I am excited about a couch…! But it wouldnt have been memorable without Mikayla! Thank you for being the best part of my couch shopping experience!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! This is not an Ashley Furniture store. This is City Furniture who bought Ashley locations in South Florida. They use the Ashley name to sell their cheaply made furniture with a no refund policy that is not mentioned until you receive delivery. Delivery company was awful and unprofessional. Exchange process was just as frustrating as they scheduled it several times and blamed “system errors” when you wait around ALL day and no one arrives. If I could give zero stars I would so they don’t get credit for a 1 star review. I have purchased many times from Ashely Furniture in the past and have never had any of these issues and it’s a shame City Furniture is being allowed to ruin their reputation by using their name. SALES PEOPLE ARE LIARS AS WELL!! Don’t buy from City Furniture or the Ashley stores they have purchased.

Went to Ashley to find a love seat. Didn't find what I was looking for. My sales rep. Manuel said there was a sale going on for mattresses which I also needed. My next scheduled stop was a mattress store so I was like why not look. Weather the sales manager and a new sales person in training helped me. They were both delightful to work with. They made it fun to spend my money. I would’ve rated this a five star, but for one exception. The corporate policy for placing a special order is lengthy and complicated. No reflection upon the store personnel, but the corporate entities that be really need to re-examine their policy and make it an easier and speedier process for both the customer and personnel.
I wish I could give Ashley Furniture Store and City Furniture Delivery service 0 stars. First, when we’re in the store we looked at many bedroom sets. Our salesperson was very attentive and listened to our needs. We were only interested in bedroom sets we could get delivered completely. We picked out 2 sets that were to be delivered on Tuesday. Sounded great as we were sleeping on air mattresses. As it turned out, on Tuesday the delivery guy called to make sure I knew both bedrooms were incomplete. It turns out our bed would not have a frame until October 😭 and the other bedroom set was missing both night stands and the chest of drawers until August. (It’s the middle of June.) I refused delivery until I could talk to my salesperson. Of course, Ashley blamed the mix up on a “computer glitch”. They offered a loaner frame to use until October and a $200 credit for our trouble. In the end, we decided to take delivery with the understanding that Ashley would take back the furniture if all the pieces were not delivered as promised with a full refund. Well when the delivery got to the house not only was the bed frame missing but also the headboard. So the footboard and box springs were placed in a tiny one car garage. As the rest of the furniture was being taken to the bedrooms, the delivery men left black marks and sweat stains all over the white walls. We will have to repaint the walls. 😩. As it turns out, we were given a queen box springs for our king size mattress. Supposedly sometime today, I am supposed to be getting the correct box spring. My whole experience with Ashley was a disaster. If you are thinking about buying furniture from them…go somewhere else! You will get empty promises and your walls all messed up. I would never recommend this business to anyone!

The store is well organized, clean and the entire staff is very friendly. This is my second experience at this store and I will come back again.
I called the Ft Lauderdale location about my unused warranty/protection plan for a previous purchase. When you have an unused warranty/protection plan, that amount will be returned to you as a store credit. So I spoke to Santiago, the store manager, after looking up my account, told me I can come in to use my credit. When I arrived at the store Santi went back into my account and said he made a mistake over the phone and it was expired, but he’ll honor it because of our conversation. I appreciated it but didn’t find a piece of furniture I like to purchase so I chose a memory foam pillow. But then Santi sat me down and said he apologize but can’t honor it because the code isn’t appearing on his device, which sounded instantly convenient. I was very disappointed, he told me false information to get me into the store and when I didn’t buy something worth his commission he made an excuse to get rid of me. I realized how in store furniture shopping isn’t the same anymore. I decided to shop online for what I was looking for, though it’s not a new concept but it’s definitely one that going to eventually put more storefront out of business because they still operate with their old salesman techniques.

My experience was fantastic thanks to Tia at the Federal highway in Fort Lauderdale store April 26, 2024.Tia was so professional and make me at ease with no pressure. She answered all the questions that I had with the calm of her voice and I felt home immediately. So I had to return the next day for my purchase. The guy with the light yellow shirt I forgot his name, he was very nice and welcoming also and on my way out even the other people(sales persons) they all said thanks for doing business with them. I’m what is greeted with a smile no matter what. But today - I was greeted by the store manager during my visit it was a pleasure. My sales rep Ashley was a trooper she walked the floor with me for a long while until I made a decision.
Stopped by to look at a couch and was able to find one we liked. Spoke to a representative and she said she actually had the same one and loved it. She was nice in person and helped us with sizing etc. We told her we would give it some thought and get back to her. Came home and looked up the same couch and saw it was available for $1,800 less online through a different store. I called and said I would be interested if they could price match, she told me that the online version was fake? interesting because it was a reputable company. I called the Sawgrass store and they matched it without an issue and was lounging on it a week later! If anyone is interested in a couch the LINDYN couch is amazing! Just don't buy it here
Went to Ashleys for the first time and this location was great. Big selection and a lot of variety. Angela helped me and she was great! She was knowledgeable but allowed me to look through the store at my own pace without any pressure. The purchase was also very easy and quick. I'll update this review once my furniture gets delivered.
We were looking for a new bed in our master bedroom and were happy to find just the right one for our condo. Also, our sales associate, Peta Forbes, was not only helpful but delightful in indulging us as we tried many mattresses until we found just the right one. If you walk into this Fort Lauderdale location ask for Mikayla! She was amazing and very personable. She tells you how it is in a professional manner. Her attitude is fun and bright. She makes shopping for furniture fun and less stressful. She helps you pick out things but also leaves you alone so you can try and think it through which item you’re going to purchase. She’s great at her job and I hope headquarters sees this post. I walked out of the store to check city furniture to make sure I didn’t miss anything over there. As soon as I left city furniture because the vibe was off, I walked back into Ashley and bought from Mikayla. She really does educate you on the furniture and is honest. I hope Ashley furniture store knows I bought the kitchen table not only because I liked it but because of her energy!

I was pleasantly surprised by his professionalism, as he did not exert any pressure on me to make a purchase, unlike most salesmen. Used the old bait and switch on me. Did not receive what they told me I would be getting. Refuse to make good on their promises. Update: After posting this I got a call from their social media dept. They don't like bad reviews so they told me I could get store credit for returning what was delivered and buying something else, which I did. Went to the store, and arranged for a new delivery. Salesperson rang it up and said my refund would be processed and posted the day the new furniture was delivered and the other picked up. After almost two weeks no refund to my credit card. Called customer service and they said they are not authorized to honor refunds even though it had been approved. Called the store and explained everything for the umpteenth time. Finally got my credit card refunded. During this whole process I received several emails from their social media dept asking me to please delete my original post as I must be happy now.

FAILED TO DELIVER ITEMS At the 3775 N Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale store, I was purchasing 2 sets of stackable wooden crates from Carlos, the floor sales person. He informed me that I could not purchase those items directly, and it would have to be delivered. Since this was part of a Christmas present for my wife who would be traveling out of the country on 12/15, I asked about the delivery date prior to buying it. He repeatedly assured me that it would be delivered by 12/13, so I purchased it. He told me he scheduled the delivery. The evening of 12/13, nothing came, so I called the store. After being transferred several times w/ customer service, McKayla informed me that Carlos had mislabeled the purchase as directly from the store itself, so no delivery was scheduled. She then told me the earliest delivery would be 12/16. When asked to be expedited, she told me that I would be charged another $200 (more than the price of the items). She informed me that I could otherwise drive to their warehouse in Tamarac to pick it myself tonight. Although she was polite, she offered no reasonable solutions for my situation incurred from their mistake. For such a simple purchase and task on their part that had huge value for a customer, Ashley’s essentially expected the customer to pay for a mistake the store made. What kind of service is this?

Had the best experience at Ashley Furniture in Ft. Lauderdale. I was greeted by Angela when I walked in. I had looked at something I liked online, but was hesitant to purchase without seeing it and it said it would take up to 14 weeks. I explained that to Angela and she knew exactly the set. They had it in the store (online had said only in Gainesville). She took me right to it and also offered to show me a couple others I may like. I stayed with the first I had considered and she said she could have it delivered in 2days! I was shocked. I was thinking weeks! I left to go home and think about it. I was able to call her and make all arrangements on the phone. She explained exactly the logistics of it and everyone went just as Angela had said it would. I had my furniture in 2 days. What a pleasure to work with someone so kind, knowledgeable and competent! I recommend Angela highly and will definitely call her for my next furniture purchase.

This was expected, I guess. The day before Thanksgiving the store had 5 or 6 sales staff and maybe 3 sets of customers. When you first walk in you are accosted by greetings on the first 5 feet. From that point on, the sales staff left me alone. I did eventually buy something, but I had to wait for the employees to finish their personal meeting before I could get their attention. Otherwise everyone was friendly and helpful when asked.

I recently went here to buy a sofa bed. The store is very eye-catching inside with lovely looking furniture. I found a sofa bed for a very fair price, and I got it delivered to my house. The associate that helped me was Peta, and she was very professional and helpful. All in all, it looks like they have nice merchandise with reasonable prices. The service is excellent. The only thing I didn't like, was that even though they guarantee their furniture for a year, if there is a problem, you have to pay for someone to come out to look at it to determine if the product was defective or not. Even so, I would still come here again if I wanted to purchase another furniture piece.

I really liked a mirror they had. So I asked the sales associate if there was a discount in honor of the upcoming holiday. There was not, however he contacted the distributor and was able to secure a wonderful discount so I immediately went to the store and purchased it. We needed 2 accent chairs, visited a dozen stores from North Miami to Fort Lauderdale, and everything we saw was either too wide, or uncomfortable or wrong color or too expensive. Eventually, we have stopped at Ashley and saw exactly what we were looking for. Salesperson Mikayla was super friendly and efficient, very happy with the product and the whole experience.

I am not a shopper but when it comes to shopping for things like furniture... my anxiety level skyrockets. You don't even get into the door and you're surrounded by a pack of wolves that haven't eaten in weeks. This WAS NOT our experience at Ashley. We were greeted when we came in. We told the sales person, Peta, exactly what we were looking for and she took us right to it. She didn't try to convince us to buy things that weren't what we were asking for. She wasn't pushy at all. We said we wanted to think it over, so she gave us her card and told us to let her know once we decide. To be honest, we went to a few more furnitures stores but the sales people would show us stuff that wasn't anything like what we were asking for. It was like they didn't care about what we wanted, they just wanted to get a sale. Peta at Ashley had us sold. We went back that same day and she was ready to take care of us. We were in and out. No pushy sales tactics, no pressure.. just beautiful furniture from a friendly face. Thank you Peta!!!

We had a fairly large order and we shipped it to the Caribbean, so Vicky had to go the extra mile more than once to facilitate the whole process. My most recent experience with Ashley home store was great. The young lady who assist me named Alexis was very helpful and patient with me. The only reason I am giving them 3 stars is because my last experience was not ideal and I promised myself I would not go back. There was a huge lack of communication which cause unexpected delays in the delivery of my furniture. I only wish my previous experience was like my most recent encounter. The person that assist you truly matters and will make a big difference in how you feel about their service.

They were having a sales incentive meeting on the sales floor in front of customers and the content of it made me feel like they were all just out to sell whatever they could instead of truly helping the customer find the right items for them. I work in sales and understand and appreciate incentives, hearing the content of their meeting made me very leery to give them my business though.

Horrible customer experience. I bought $800 bar stools and when I got home they didn’t fit and I needed to swap them out for the shorter ones…. Not even 12 hours has gone by since I bought these expensive bar stools and my intention is to swap them for the correct size. CITY FURNITURE HAS A NO RE-SELECTION IR RETURN POLICY. They don’t care that their sleezy salesman sold them to you without ensuring you know what you are doing and that it can’t be undone. I am extremely disappointed and plan to never shop for furniture with Ashley or City ever again. Failure to keep customers happy.

Right at the front door she greeted us with a wonderful smile and sense of humor, talk about making us feel great to be there. Ordered piece of furniture online. Immediately got a call to let me know it's a special order and target delivery date is x. Few days later received an email to schedule my delivery. Schedule it for y. Next day received an email that my order was canceled. No explanation, no phone call, NO RESPONSE TO MY EMAIL inquiring why and what happened. These folks don't care.

Our couch is wonderful but we paid for an extended warranty that is worthless. They say that service is available on Saturdays but they always cancelled it. So in November 2022 tech comes out and gets recliner working but it breaks 3 days later. Another tech comes out and says we need a new motor for our recliner but it won’t be here for 90 days. I call after 90 days and now they say it won’t be available until May 2023. I suggested several solutions. 1. Get the motor from a showroom couch model. 2. Get it from an in stock couch in the storage room. 3. Order it from another vendor. Ashley furniture refused to do anything but blame their vendor for the delay. I could buy this motor on Amazon or EBay today, but Ashley Furniture just puts their head in the sand and ignores customers after the sale. DO NOT SHOP HERE.
If I could give zero stars I would. I went into the store to accompany a relative that was shopping. I found pillows that felt incredible. I was told 150.$ I bought 2. They were to be shipped. I looked at the receipt and saw I was being charged 179$ a pillow. More than I was quoted. However I agreed to buy them because they felt so soft. Later at home I looked at receipt again as I felt the price still seemed off. I was also charged 21.48$ for in home service for a yr!! I was not asked if I wanted this nor does anyone actually need in home service for a pillow!! Now I'm angry. Pillows are delivered and guess what? One pillow was the correct one the other was something totally different! I checked online to find that they are cheaper on line. I brought them back to the store for a refund as the entire purchase was a huge screw up from the get go! Not a good sales person!!!!!!! Trying to sneak in extra charges. Then because I paid with debit I could not get a refund! Must wait 5-7 days for a check!! F that. Total BS. I do not recommend this store or it's affiliates! City Furniture! Also horrible. Never ever will I purchase anything from either store!! HORRIBLE

I spent thousands of dollars over the years with Ashley and I tried to cancel a shipment that was delivered and I have to pay for the return. I wasn't provided with a shipping label or RA# and waited 4 days to receive an email that provided a return to addrress. Ashley has a shipping account and it won't make them poor either, Shame on you Ashley!
I needed a new mattress and wanted this to be my last mattress purchase. My salesman Carlos sat my mind at ease because he was knowledgeable a personable and I never felt pushed. It was his ability to present information credibly that sold me.
The location is great for quick access for those with homes near the beach. However, if you wish to pick up your new purchases, you have to drive to their warehouse near the EVERGLADES (it doesn’t look far, but it will burn half your day between the drive, traffic and waiting to pick up your furniture). Please note, if you request a delivery, make sure to inspect it before your delivery personnel leave. I had multiple items damaged that had to be put back on the truck MULTIPLE times. I definitely recommend picking up your order, but your items could still be damaged from the factory.

I never experienced anything like this before. Customer service is the worst ever. After 3 months of waiting for my furniture and getting no response to my inquiries I decided to cancel the order. It took 2 weeks tons of phone calls to at least 11 different people who would not help. THey kept saying only the girl who took the order could do anything and she would not return my phone calls or e-mails. The worst run around I have ever had. I would never step foot in either of their companies City Furniture or Ashley home store ever ever ever.

It was great that they would do a price match for in-stock items at the Ashley Furniture website & at Amazon--so I saved over $100!

I went to Ashley furniture store and met this young man who was so cordial he helped me choose a sofa for my living room Zachary thank you for making my furniture shopping easy and thanks for everything.
Do NOT purchase ANYTHING from this "franchise" location. I purchased a piece of furniture which arrived damaged. I brought the item back to the store and was refused a refund. The manager told me this was a franchise location and that they did not accept return regardless of condition. I disputed with my credit card company and showed them that the only thing I signed was the bill of sale. I did NOT sign any of the return policy disclosures. After 5 days I get confirmation from my credit card company that they received signed forms of my signed return policy disclosures. When I first went to the store the manager could not produce these forms, and they popped up out of thin air. I am seeking legal advice against this company for forging my signature on documents. This company ABSOLUTLEY cannot be trusted, and I would advise everyone stays far away from this joke of a business. Do not believe the companys response below, these people are not to be trusted and I will update this review once legal actions have concluded.
Happily each time I go into Ashley furniture I walk out with something I am happy to own. Their sales reps are helpful yet unobtrusive, and their store interior layouts are exquisite. Both Rooms to Go and city furniture should take a note. Thanks Ashley; next I will shop your online store for the smaller furniture items, such as entryway shoe cabinets, that you don't carry in the store.
Absolutely horrible company. I purchased a very expensive desk for it to break 6 months later. I did thought I was safe with the warranty that I bought separate right? Wrong the tech came in and basically just didn’t want to repair it. He was claiming about all his appointments he had that day. Told me he couldn’t repair it then the company is telling them I refused service? Don’t buy from this company just go with someone else. They will snake you.

Just visited Ashley Furniture on Federal Highway in Ft Lauderdale to purchase multiple items for my mother in-law. We worked with Peta who is absolutely amazing. She turned what could have been a stressful experience into a fun & enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Peta and Ashley Furniture!

Do not buy the extended warranty if you plan to move to another state. They will not tell you this and lie about how great it is. I bought from this store and then moved to Texas and now they won't cover my manufacturers Warranty and extended that I paid extra for. Couch is sagging now and table lost its color. Please buy elsewhere and don't be fooled by extended warranty.
I ordered a couch from this store in July 2021, the sales person was great and delivery was fast. However, less than 3 months after purchasing the couch the frame was broken in half and the seat cushions are falling through the support straps. My cushions have been replaced three times and within a couple weeks the same thing happens. Ashley refuses to refund the purchase or allow an exchange. Instead they feel scheduling service appointments every 3 months and asking the customer to pick a day that they are available between 8am and 8pm is acceptable. Do not order from Ashley furniture unless you want poorly made furniture and have countless hours to spend on hold with customer service and waiting for their repair person to show up.

Worst service ever. I bought on line a sofa in December it apperared it was in stock, however they scheduled my delivery for April , 4 months later. I was very upset because it was not what they showed on line, finally I had to agree to receive my furniture on April 10th. Now one day before my delivery date I called them to ask the approximate time, and they said there is none delivery programmed for me. The item is out of stock and it will be delivered in one more month. Is this a Joke?, nobody called me or emailed me to let me know , I paid for that 4 months ago. I am expecting my sofá. I spoke with a customer service agent and he told me I can shop something else instead, I said I wanted the sofa I picked. I asked to speak with a supervisor and he said that the only he could do for me is to send an email to the sales person in charge of purchases made on line. That is terrible nobody could give me a solution. Conclusion, I don't have the furniture I bought and I won't have it until nobody knows. zero respect for customers, terrible service. I do not recommend this store and city furniture( which are the same company) nor online store either.

So I placed my order on a Friday, with a promised delivery of the very next day {Saturday}. I commented to the salesperson that it was too good to be true that they would deliver the item the very next day. I was advised by the shysty salesperson that I would receive a text confirming the delivery window. Never got the text, instead received 3 phone calls from the delivery team explaining there was a glitch in the system and the item was not going to be delivered. My belief is when I placed the order and it was processed, the warehouse was closed so there was no one to pull the item and put it on the truck. Instead of acknowledging this, the company proceeded to attempt to reschedule the delivery for a weekday. Now why would I miss work to wait for them, when they didn’t keep their word?! I then attempted to reschedule for 2 weeks later {when it was convenient for me} only to be told that the item may or may not be in stock. I then sent an email to their corporate office. I received a call from a young lady who didn’t understand the problem, so I wished her a good day and hung up. She clearly didn’t read the email. I eventually spoke to the shyster salesperson who only reiterated that the item would be in stock 2 weeks later and they would deliver it. Now throughout all of these exchanges, there was never an admission of fault on their part nor was there an offered discount. I mean my house was in disarray in anticipation of the delivery. So I am expected to live this way for 2 weeks? I eventually asked for a refund and was promised the receipt of the refund and cancelled order via email… guess what it never came. I drove back to the store to get a hard copy. Needless to say, this experience was one and never again. Companies don’t acknowledge their mistakes anymore? They clearly didn’t need my business.
Ok, I have to say that they made the effort correcting the issue (the one below), I still didn’t get what I wanted but they all did the effort and followed up. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy in this store (company) while overall low inventory in every furniture stores after all COVID, I left happy the store finding what I needed and with a delivery date. Today (a day before the delivery promised) I found out that someone from “corporate” was able to cancel my order and sell the couch to someone else. Now they won’t have one available until August.
Yelena is the absolute worst. Don’t expect call backs, help, updates. Any of the above. She might send you a screenshot from her own personal phone… the most unprofessional.I have called Ashley corporate several times and still working on a refund because yelena only partially refunded me after lying about shipping costs, timing, and just flat refusing to give any updates. -I ordered and fully paid in September. Still no update or help from her.
I had just bought a house shopping for furniture went to different places when I finally settled and decided to go with Ashley furniture. I had a great experience with dealing with the sales associate PETA who made my day by taking care of me and getting me what I wanted and even more. She is very knowledgeable and knew about her product. It was a pleasure shopping known that I had a great associate.
Went to Ashley to look at new furniture for my mothers living room. Sales associate Gabino was very helpful and accommodating. We had a great experience and left with a new coffee table set. We look forward to purchasing more from Gabino in the near future.

Furniture is ok, what I did not like was the attitude of the woman who looked frustrated when we told her we were looking for ideas. She said something like people stop by yo kill time!!! What a lack of respect, since she didn't know if we were going to buy or not. I don't recommend anyone to stop by here.
Deb was phenomenal, she led me through the entire store and informed me of all my options! She was also like my personal shopping assistant, I mean males need a female viewpoint and she was more than willing t to help guide me. Deb has told me she has been here for 23 years and it Deb is what your standard of employee is I do not see how this store doesn’t have 1 million locations. Come See Deb, the prices are great and so is she!

I finally was able to invest in a tempur-pedic mattress, so, I went to Ashley's store in fort lauderdale. I was greeted by Gabino Nunes. This young man was my guide in showing me and explaining the differences between all the tempur-pedic mattress choices. He helped me make the best choice for me, by taking the time and patience to explain, while I tried the different options. I received courteous and profesional service. I couldn't be more pleased. I can't wait wait to sleep in my new bed.

Had repairman out Three times the first 2 months of owning this automatic love couch......also was promised a $25 gift card for trying the beds that I never received.....I can't believe the automatic lift motors would go out on both sides of the couch in One Week.....discusted with this company...... finally the last repair man knew how to fix it
He walked in here on the weekend and the staff was very helpful by trying to understand what we were looking for and making all kinds of suggestions. This is a very large store with lots of selection, but more on the modern side of design. They have a good amount of parking in the lot that's right in front of the store entrance.
I had a huge problem with the warranty department and got no where with these people.. I was so frustrated I came in and spoke to a very nice young lady named Peta.. she got on it right away .. she fix all my problems.. and I left with the biggest smile on my face .. warranty department sucks! But the staff here has your back!! Ask for Peta.. she makes it happen!!
Mary Spano was incredible from start to finish. She greeted us at the door and walked us through the whole shopping experience. Mary was able to check each piece’s availability and delivery date. She also offered us the metal bed frame as a temporary solution for our February delivery date. I highly recommend not only Ashley Furniture in Ft Lauderdale, but Mary Spano 100%. If I could give them no stars I would. I had the pleasure of making 3 trips for a set of lamps. First trip they were out of stock, though I had a confirmed scheduled pick up. Second trip picked up the lamps and the base was damaged. This trip exchanged but the lamp shade was damaged. Poor quality. Spent hours with customer service and they said they would issue a GC of $17. This is a joke. Please be aware what you are buying and would you would have to deal with. Total nightmare! No chance I would shop Ashley furniture again.

Took 4 trips to deliver a single bed and I had the pleasure of storing everything in my tiny studio apartment. They did not bother to even bolt it all the way together despite being billed for that. Requested I throw out my old mattress despite again paying for them to take my old (No Bulk pickup). Bank Account they use is a scam- they change my due date around so that I now have Late Fees despite paying excess on each Statement. They don't send paper statements, or email statements. Quality is shoddy - it creaks/cracks, 1/2 boards are split/cracked/or loose w/ stripped holes.

I had a very bad experience with Ashley Furniture store on Federal HYW Ft Lauderdale. I bought a bedroom set for my son from January 2021, when requested for them to deliver October 1 the Furniture was delivered to someone else home. I called many times no one can tell me what going on with my son Furniture. I went to the store and Johnathan Wright was very dispectful, unprofessional and I got loud he called the police on me thinking that is every black man have a record and afraid of the police. The police try to talk with Him and he tell police he want out of the store. The police him to work with me, do the police the report this behavior on sunbiz.org. I strongly Johnathan Wright is very racist against black. I spent more than 10,000 in Furniture between city furniture and Ashley even though city take a week to complete my delivery I was not mad with them because Bruce and Leo work it out so I could get most of my furniture. I have pay 150.00 out of pocket for delivery because of Ashley Furniture and Johnathan behavior. I will put this on ever social media. I ask myself why we black people support the business when we have been dispectful.

Worst place ever! I have been waiting on a refund since April 2021. That have their merchandise and my money. Can't tell you how many times I have called and just keep getting the run around. What is it going to take to get what is rightfully mine?
Whent to buy a bed. Picked one out . They said was on back order. Waited 1 month for delivery. When delivered boxes opened and damaged. I asked the delivery guys to wait so i could check for damage. The didnt wait they said call if you have a problem... Well footboard leg was broken off. All hardware and some pieces missing from open box. I was verry disappointed in quality of bed it was made of cardboard! The said they will send replacement but would be 4 months untill delivered. I called and asked for a refund they said no only store credit. Still fighting for refund..
Nice selection of home decor and accessories. However it seemed to have a lot of dark wood bedroom sets.

Do yourself a favor and shop anywhere else. Ashley’s has the worst customer service. I ordered a bedroom set and dining set. I paid for assembly and my bed is missing a piece of the headboard. I contacted customer service TWICE with no resolution. It’s been weeks and no one has reached out to me. Not to mention the bed is the only the furniture that actually arrived on my delivery date.

From the moment we walked into Ashley’s in Ft Lauderdale the experience was amazing. We were greeted by their manager Jonathan who answered all our questions and made us feel right at home. We actually ended up leaving to finish our initial search to remodel our new home. Long story short, we ended up back there that saw day realizing NOTHING compared to their inventory, lead times, prices and customer service. We ended up purchasing all the furnishings for our new home that day! When we came back we worked with John. He was incredible! I bore with the details but he superseded all our expectations and went above and beyond expectation to make sure we got exactly what we needed and were looking for. I’m so glad we were able to work with John. Without him, we wouldn’t have made the choices we did. I also want to note that I went back another day to purchase a dining room set I had had my eyes on and Logan assisted me in that. He was also great and answered a lot of questions about lead times and made some excellent recommendations. I couldn’t imagine a better experience. I highly recommend this location above buying online or another location.
I bought from this store. I so regret it today. If there were zero stars to hit I would. Once you buy there, they are the rudest organization and simply the worst retailer I have met in the past 50 years of living here in South Florida. I had to go pick up my child at her school and left somebody to watch them bring the couch and furniture in. There was something wrong when I got home as my friend pointed out. I told Ashley no problem, I would exchange Or do what was necessary. Right..... I'm an easy-going person who is a professional working for a large organization. They not only would not work with me but we're indignant, and obviously wanted to move onto the next unsuspecting person they could sell too. They have absolutely no interest in word of mouth advertising.I remember buying my first waterbed from them as Waterbed City 40 years ago. It looks like they have been taking advantage of people through their advertising, driving impulsive buying as City furniture and Ashley as fast as possible. Try to look for any other organization who actually cares to work with our community rather than take the money and run. I called my company also to make sure the human resources new just in case the employees came to move in this areaI donated the furniture three weeks later to a 501 c 3 I am glad That some good came from such a terrible retail experience.

I cannot speak highly enough of Mary at Ashley Furniture store in Ft. Lauderdale as she took the time to research availabilities, costs, options and financing for me in my search for a sectional. She allowed me to look without any pressure, she presented all the necessary information for the two sectionals I was comparing, and presented the benefits of both. The explanation and opportunity of the Professional Service package, which is like an insurance program but if not used after the 3 year time frame, I receive back as a credit. This along with the financing options and the customer service reassured me I was making the right decision in purchasing from Ashley Furniture today.

One of the worst experiences I have had with a delivery on furniture. Was told the date of delivery for a king bedroom set, and that there would be a 3 hr window given the day before for delivery. No window given, luckily someone was home when the delivery arrived. Not only were parts of the order missing, the parts were of the actual bed. Not a dresser, mirror, etc. No bedframe, and they would deliver it 2 days later. Was never told there was was chance of partial delivery,, let alone the part of the bed. It's a shame because the showroom experience was wonderful, and my husband and I were thrilled with Ashley furniture. Unfortunately this will be the first and last time we ever purchase from them again.

This store and the people that work there make it so easy for me. Furniture shopping gives me anxiety. Spending money on something I'm not able to see in my room before agreeing to pay for it is a little hard for me. Christy made my experience so smooth. I could buy the set or not, she was okay with either. Never pushy. Always helpful. I decided against it and she was still so sweet. Our salesperson, John was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were shopping for a leather loveseat with power feet and head rests. We found on we like but the bottom line is a bit out of our budget. After shopping other stores we only found one other we liked but also a bit over our budget. So we are still thinking about what to do. I do believe the quality at Ashley is much better and made in USA.
I had a great experience with Ashley Home. Jonathan the sales manager led me to the perfect sleeper sofa which was in stock and arrived less than a few days after I purchased it. It was in mint condition and the perfect color. The delivery team led by Stevenson were lovely and they kept me informed about their arrival time exactly. They are so professional and they even moved my bed to the next room! I’ll definitely be visiting Ashley Home in the future.

I’ve been to this store several times in the last few months on the hunt for a dining room table and a sectional. They have beautiful furniture and it was very hard to make a decision! This last time I went, I found a great counter height grey table that I knew was “the one.” David was our salesperson and he was patient, helpful, knowledgeable and most importantly friendly and a pleasure to work with! I bought the table on Thursday and it was delivered 2 days later on Saturday. The delivery guys were efficient. They did come much later than the expected time frame so that was the only negative that I would report.
I'm looking for furniture that will last but also budget friendly. Stephen was very helpful and at helping me understand the purchasing process at the store.😀✔

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! I ordered a dining room set on March 13th and was in need of one ASAP. After the furniture was delivered, I immediately noticed there was significant damage. I couldn’t believe they allowed it to even leave the store! I simply did not have use for it in the condition it was in nor had the time to deal with getting it fixed or replaced. After advising Ashley Furniture of the issue, I was given the run around as to who I needed to contact to complete the return. When I finally got in touch with a manager I had already purchased an alternative dining room set and no longer had the need for the one purchased from Ashley. I was told that their company policy is no returns which contradicts what I was told when purchasing it. The amount of time and hassle spent on this is unacceptable. They clearly do not care about customer satisfaction or the quality of the products that leave their store. No wonder Ashley Furniture is closing stores across the country. If you’re someone who has no issues receiving damaged furniture and likes to waste their time trying to rectify it, order from Ashley. Otherwise, save your money and stick to online stores like Wayfair and Amazon that guarantee quality products and no hassle return policies.

Back in December, my husband and I purchased a whole house-full of furniture from the Ft Lauderdale Store on Federal Highway. We are moving to Wisconsin and decided to sell our furniture we had here and get all new. We told the sales person AND the manager that we needed the furniture delivered on 2/13/21 plus were charged $1000 for delivery. We did this because furniture nowadays has such a long lead time and we wanted to be able to set up our new home as soon as we got there. We were promised the moon and back that this would happen.. well... fast forward, we get a call from the delivery company that the furniture is in a New Jersey Warehouse, that it would be leaving there on the 15th (2 days AFTER we were promised delivery) and that we should have it by the end of the month. Now we have nothing... no table to eat at, no chairs to sit on and no bed to sleep in. We spoke with the manager a week ago who promised he would see what he could do at least for a mattress....guess who we have not heard back from... Now we fly out on Friday and have to live in a house with no furniture for god knows how long... Ashley/City Furniture are nothing but a bunch of lying con artists. Steer clear of them! Live and learn.....BTW - the freight company told us they always do this... Promise everything to the customer but never relay that there are requirements to the freight company..... I will NEVER use these people again and will do everything in my power to make sure other people don't as well!

I despise writing negative reviews, but I have spent far too long trying to resolve my issue with this company. Truly a horrific experience thus far. 3 month old couch that is defective (broken zipper letting all the stuffing out and metal pieces poking out) and can't get any help. Someone finally came out to examine the couch and then ordered all the wrong parts for it. Now have to wait another 6-8 weeks to be corrected - which I seriously doubt it will be. Have made no less than 12 phone calls and multiple twitter attempts. Get the run-around literally every single phone call. Today I had THE RUDEST service rep ever. Asked to speak to a manager and she lied and said she was "the" manager, and that there was no one above her. To be fair, Ive had some friendly phone agents, but NO ONE has been able to solve the problem. Have spent HOURS trying to resolve this. Not even a heavily used couch - 2 grown adults, no kids. Worst service. Would not recommend shopping here - AT ALL!

This corporate is an absolute joke. DO NO PURCHASE HERE! If you are looking for a stress free experience, this is not the place to go. Sales agents are extremely helpful at the time of purchase, but mind you it's been 3 months since my purchase, two credit card payments later and I have not yet received the item. On the first delivery attempt the order was never delivered and no explanation why. I had to then wait another month for the delivery. In the meantime Christmas and New Years came and I did not have a sofa to host either events at my house. Now entering February I finally received the sofa, the order was not dropped off to the second floor as requested in addition to that it came with missing parts. If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THEM!!! I ordered on Oct. 23rd and was told 6 weeks. When they showed up there was no couch as it was on back order ( never got a courtesy call). They also didn&'t have my five piece table accessories. They told me I already got them which I have not. I was told I would get my couch on Dec. 19th. I made my monthly payment today and called them to see if it could come earlier. They told me no and that it was pushed out to Dec 31st. and that was not even guaranteed just a suggestion on their part. I have called the store 5 times and the manager is always out to lunch or in a meeting. I also emailed my sales associate and he never replied. They are scam artist and at this point I am going to seek legal action! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! It is unacceptable!
Had a much better walk in experience at Ashley HomeStore 12/1 than I did the previous day at a competing furniture store. A few showroom employees were available upon walk-in, Angela introduced herself and asked me what brought me in. After a brief chat she let me wander the showroom on my own saying she would check on me 10 minutes later. I felt immediately better today because I didn't feel as though the employees were fighting for their next sale and who was going to be the one to get it. I was able to walk around without intimidation, at my leisure and see if I could find what I was looking for online. The showroom felt slightly cluttered in its layout, it seemed to have a lot of things inside. Despite that, I was able to find the furniture I was looking for easily. It must have known I was coming for it, as it was in the middle of the room. Angela, as she said, came back to check on me as I was on the hunt for a second reclining chair, in case my first pick was no longer available. After a brief search, no luck but my heart was set on the Accrington collection so it was okay. We had a great conversation and shared some stories while we filled out my information as I made my purchase of a new sofa and reclining chair. I would definitely recommend or come back myself to this location again and ask for Angela. She made the experience and purchase of my furniture easy and delightful. Thank you Angela and Ashley furniture cannot wait until my new living room comes :)
Horrible overall service. Do not purchase anything from Ashley Furniture! I have been waiting over three months for my furniture. The furniture was purchased Labor Day weekend and there was a back order. Fine to be expected right? So I was told it would be delivered 10/3/2020. Delivery man shows up and says "Sorry lady cannot make your bed because their were two parts missing." No one bothered to call from Ashley Furniture, I had to call them at which point I was advised I would be waiting an additional 2 months for the not 1 but 2 missing pieces. 2 months went by and no one has followed up with me. I called again and the 2 pieces are there and scheduled to be delivered 11/23/2020. So delivery boy shows up and states there was still a missing piece and that they could not assemble, there was nothing they could do and left. Now imagine I have an apartment with minimal furniture and space, because it is full of all these massive boxes from Ashley. So I call Ashley Furniture the next day to let them know that I am still missing furniture and was told by JORDAN the new guy, that nothing was actually missing and that they would return the following week to assemble the 20 large boxes taking over my apartment. A week and a half later I call because I did not get the confirmation text that they were showing up tonight, and I wanted to confirm what time they would be at my house. So now I am being told I don't have an appointment, Jordan didn't know what he was doing. I'm still unsure if I have all my furniture, and it has been 3 months since I purchased this. Anyway, now I am on the schedule for Sunday, let's just hope they show up.

We were greeted by our salesperson (Pita) when we arrived at the showroom. She was very pleasant and professional. We asked to see mattresses. She was very knowledgeable and determined which comfort level we liked right away. From there she showed us mattresses in that firmness until my wife and I found the perfect one that was comfortable and fit our budget. We asked to look through the showroom and think about the purchase before deciding. She was happy to let us look around and checked back from time to time to answer any questions. We ended up also purchasing a 9 piece dinning room set also. We will continue to show there and will always ask for Pita

Most places have people follow you around which drives me crazy. At Ashley Homestore they waited until they saw me ready which was so awesome. I have been a true to the core rooms to go buyer and now I went here and bought a couch and it was a great price free delivery what more can you ask for oh also they priced matched the couch I found online. I’m a high maintenance furniture buyer of the first degree. Large showrooms and expansive selections tend to leave me feeling a bit frenetic. I recently needed a new sofa - the focal point of my medium size living area. I went to many stores over a two day period. At Ashley, I was met by David. He was fantastic and clearly has a way of connecting with customers on a friendly and personal level. Despite five million questions and tour around the whole store I was happy to find exactly what I needed for my space - big props to Ashley management for keeping on reps like David to be a guide through the process and to be helpful and kind.

I purchased a Printice king bed about six months ago, I have a very oversized mattress and it didn’t fit very well so I have been trying to get longer side rails and having difficulty in getting them ordered. I called the Ft Lauderdale store and spoke with Nilda Gonzalez, she was very helpful and understood exactly what I needed. She was very helpful and efficient in getting what I needed!
What an experience!! We spent one Saturday doing nothing but furniture shopping. We looked everywhere!! City, Baer's, Haverty's, Macy's, etc. and nothing compared to the selection of Ashley's. This was our first couch purchase in 8 years an we wanted something completely different. We settled on the Zardoni collection, more specifically the section. To our luck it was ON SALE!! We went back during the week and having decided exactly what we wanted we placed our order with David Van Cleaf, who had us out of there in no time. Not only was he knowledgable and accommodating but a pleasure to talk to as well. We knew the delivery would be a couple weeks as furniture sales have been skyrocketing lately but that just gives us more time to anticipate its arrival. Will update when it arrives. Overall, Ashley's is the place to shop!!

On September 27, 2020, the customer was informed that there would not be any delivery with a rude, vulgar language from Ashley Homestore stating the customer can go to hell. To date, the customer has not received the furniture ordered and will leave with no other option than pursue a legal remedy and solution as applicable by law.There is a breach of contract, violation of the law, and poor customer service performed by Ashley HomeStore. The manager and the whole staff will be held accountable from my lawyers and they have violated the law.

Purchased bedroom set on 5/1/2020...On 5/21/2020 the bed broke...the wood rails split. Had bed only 3 weeks. They sent someone out to add screws & repair the bed...lol. Then on 8/30, bed fell completely apart, and head board ripped from the posts. We sent pictures and explained that this bed is faulty and Instead of changing the bed they sent a couple of guys to change the rails..again lol...the delivery guys take a look @ the bed and said...you need a whole new bed, it's defective. City furniture called us (their parent company I guess) and said that they'd send someone out on Sunday 9/27 Today's Tuesday 9/22. So they dismantled what was left of my bed, and propped the ripped headboard on the wall because they wanted me to hold it until Sunday when the other delivery guys came. Lmfao. I told them to put it in the car port until they can send someone to pick it up. Why wouldn't they take the broken furniture??? So no, I have no bed. Will be sleeping w my new mattress on the floor and hope that the replacement gets here on Sunday. Oh, and I paid EXTRA FOR THE WARRANTY. LMFAO. They won't replace it until after you've had the same incident 3 times. Who even came up w this?!?!! What kind of warranty is this? I purchased a couch around 2 yrs ago a pretty pricey one I thought I was buying a quality product . Well I was wrong after 2yrs of standard use the cushions started to deform. I will say that customer service was very helpful and sent out a tech to repair . That was just a nice gesture and went no where. I was told that this is how the product is . WOW !!! for 2k plus and that's how the products is . If I would of known I could of wasted my money and got more for my buck somewhere else . very disappointing. don't be fooled by all the advertising hype same trash just better advertising

After dealing with countless issues from an order placed at a different Ashley (Sunrise), walking into the Fort Lauderdale store, and working with Peta, was a breath of fresh air. Even though I didn&'t place my original order with her she jumped in to help me confirm a new delivery date and went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied especially after my bad experience that morning. I would strongly recommend asking for her if you visit the US1 location in FTL.On the other hand, the couch I ordered in August, that was supposed to be delivery this morning, was cancelled randomly as of this AM - after I received a delivery time window and confirmation for today. No one from customer care notified me that my delivery date was cancelled and now pushed 2 months back to Nov 10th, and I would not be getting my couch today. I ended up calling in and speaking with 4 customer care agents + someone from the President&'s office and the only thing they offered me was a full refund, to purchase a new couch (no added discount or anything for all of the trouble), or to wait until Nov 10th to get my item. They didn&'t care that I&'m now left with an empty living room, sitting on the floor for 2 months. Terrible customer care team, while the in store team is great and as helpful as they can be.

Don't let Angela, the sales agent to fool you! After shopping around for 3 days, I found everything I needed in this store. Nevertheless, I had a very bad experience with Angela. Only after I paid, she let me know that not all the items were available and some of them would be available in one and two months ahead, BUT, in order to have part of the furniture delivered soon, I had to pay $ 250 for private delivery. I ended up paying that amount and I got the first delivery on the next days. After one month, I received the shipment but she informed me that I would have to wait for additional 30 days for the last one. That was unacceptable. It was impossible to get her by phone. I, myself, walked into the store and I still had to wait for her like 30 minutes because "she was on the phone". I complained and even asked to be refunded. Once again, she informed that if I wanted a quick delivery, I needed to pay additional $250. When I asked to speak with the store manager, she said that the manager was not in the store. As I did not give up with my complaints, somebody out of nowhere showed up, claiming to be the manager and, surprisingly, everything was shipped to my house on the next day, for free, as they claimed when I walked into the store the first time. I even had a little discount due to ther endless shipping delays. Bottom-line: feel free to buy in this store because they have very good stuff but ask for the employee's name. If you hear that the name is Angela, ask for another sales agent.
Scheduled a delivery for today in the morning, between 9 AM - 12 PM. Here I sit at 4:30 PM still waiting. When I called the customer service line, they were extremely rude. I explained my husband had to go to work and that I am pregnant and can not bring the furniture upstairs. Their solution was to pay $100 for premium delivery (just to have it brought up stairs and left outside my apartment door) or to reschedule the delivery on a day my husband is off. I told them my husband works 7 days a week and they asked if he could take a day off work. HOW IS THAT THEIR SOLUTION TO A PROBLEM THAT IS THEIR FAULT? When I asked to speak to the lady&'s manager she told me there is no e-mail or direct phone line for her manager..... What?!? Don&'t EVER buy from this place.

Update finally received our left Chase 2 months after purchasing. Took reaching out to Ashley by several means but did get it. Bought a sectional told be delivered on June 6th only to get a call the day before saying only have half and rest be a week later. Only received half of it and never got other half. Been waiting now for over a month for the other half. The other piece was supposed to be in yesterday, 7/14 but have yet to receive a phone call about it. Guess I get to spend hours calling them trying to get what is paid for already. Seems this is an issue with them. CBS in Chicago did a huge piece on this exact issue. I would never ever buy fro. The sales woman Peta Gaye was an absolute delight...helpful and no where near pushy...she was great! I wanted the mattress no later than Tuesday..but because of her gracious attitude ...I will wait until Thursday for delivery

She ask me what I was looking and everything went up hill from there. She was patience and help me color coordinate me entre living room. I am a customer for life.
When I walked in the store I was greeted by a gentleman named David Van Cleaf. Very helpful and not pushy at all. He suggested that I walk around the store and see if there was anything I like. I walked the store and as soon as I was almost at the end of the walkthrough I seen a nice 14 piece set I could see myself sitting on. He also turned that same corner at the same time and I immediately knew this was the guy! We chatted for a bit like if we were in my home and we knew each other for years while sitting on this set I was so excited to purchase with his help of course. Come to find out we have mutual friends and that was when I knew it was meant to be for us lol. This sounds like a love story haha. All jokes aside They have great service and I would highly recommend a friend or family member to this store and speak with David for their furniture needs. Thanks Dave 👍🏽
Will never use them again, they dont honor price match and the insurance they offer is a scam, filed a claim and they can not repair or replace so your stuck with a damage table. Please dont waste your time with the insurance, it doesnt cover anything they say.
We were looking for a sofa and went to Ashleys "just to browse". When we walked in we told Peta Forbes what we were looking for/our price range and she began showing us what was available. We liked one but wanted to keep looking. Peta gave us her card and w/no pressure, wished us well. We went to City Furniture & Rooms to Go. In both stores we told to walk around and see what we liked, even tho we told them exactly what we wanted. They showed us how to "read the signs" posted w the groups for pricing. We were left to wander around instead of being shown what we wanted. When u know what u want it should be pointed out to you. One salesperson followed "Us" around, the other watched us from a distance. We saw a couple sofas we liked, but we called Peta and bought the one from Ashleys over the phone. We were shocked by the treatment (or lack of) we received from the other stores. No one went out of their way for us like Peta did, that is why I am posting this story. Customer service is still alive at Ashley Furniture! 😁

Krazy for KENDALL!!! Ok wow so we had the BEST experience in the ft Lauderdale store with kendall. My boyfriend and I had seen a couch in another store and inquiring about the 14 piece deal we were told that the items picked in the set were the only options. I wasn't crazy about anything other than the couch and ottoman, so the next day we went to a different store mainly to have it bought and delivered from a store thats closer to our new place. We went in and re asked about the 14 piece set and KENDALL told us we could absolutely choose different items like a the lamps, rug and accessories. He instantly got super excited that we were more inclined to buy more if it was customized to us. We had a great time shopping around the store with him. He was funny and real not a super fake salesman. I loved that even when we did the payment and taking money he said "let's do this on your new couch come sit" so fun! I bought a bed, a table with 4 chairs and a sofa bed in the Ashley store, the bed was assembled in half because the assemblers reported that there was a screw missing, it has been 3 months since I requested the screws that they inform that it is in the mail and it does not arrive , one of the table chairs and the sofa bed broke, I requested the exchange they asked for a photo by email I sent it and nothing was resolved, today I got in touch again and they said I have to pay 50 dollars to come to an appraiser to look at what is broken In conclusion, I paid 3 months and there are still 7 months left for the broken furniture.

My husband and I had researched a sectional online and called the store to inquire about it. We spoke with Angela and she was very helpful. She verified that they had the item in store and we were able to get right in for an appointment. Within an hour of our call my husband was home and we had purchased the sectional. We recently moved into a larger home and was in need of a few items. We had browsed a few items online but wanted to look at the finishes and test the sectional/sofas out in person. Kendall greeted us at the door and he was very knowledgeable of the product on the floor and guided us in the right direction. He was fairly new at the time and we had lots of questions he was unable to answer but directed us to his manager Ashley. We worked with her previously in the Sawgrass location and she was very helpful now and then too. She and Kendall worked together to get us all the measurements and information we needed to go home to make all of our final decisions. I am so fortunate to have had Julie assist me... without her guidance and vast knowledge of interior decorating, along with so many other useful tips, she made me feel very confident with my decision. ZERO ZERO ZERO STARS, I HAS TO PUT SOMETHING NUT ZERO WAS NOT AN OPTION!!Well where do I begin. WHAT AN INCREDIBLY AWFUL DELIVERY SERVICE I HAD LAST NIGHT! This guy was 'THE RUDEST PERSON I have come across in a long time and go figure he works for Ashley Furniture. I monitored my delivery all day because I knew I'd need help unpacking the mattress we bought. I chose the drop off delivery due to finances so I was able to save $60.00. So I had help here all day, but considering how late this got delivered they had to leave. Times kept changing kept getting pushed back my initial window was like 3:30pm-4:30pm.The latest time it showed was being delivered between 6:30pm - 7:15pm. Seeing that last time. I stepped out for 10 minutes to pick up a RX for my dad because from what I was told I'd GET A CALL 30 minutes prior to arriving. At 6:02 pm I FINALLY get a call from THE DRIVER i COULD TELL ALREADY HE WAS NOT PLEASANT. Asking me if I'm home, I said no but i can be there in 10 minutes. And asked him NICELY, why I didn't get a courtesy 30 minute call. He said he was busy and couldn't call. That he WAS IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE RIGHT NOW. I said what, the tracking showed you weren't suppose to deliver till the hours of 6:30pm-7pm. And again said you didn't call me prior, WHY? I said please wait, I'll be there in 10 minutes. Please don't leave. I got home in 8 minutes. and as I turn the corner, I SEE NO TRUCK in front of my house. I was very upset at this point CAUSE I RUSHED BACK TO THE HOUSE. I tried to call the cell number about 8 times, text him and nothing. I decided to call the store and talked to a manage. Because me trying to call CUSTOMER SERVICE number an being on hold well over 25 minutes each time was also very upsetting. HOLD TIMES ARE RIDICULOUS!! which equals to no CUSTOMER SERVICE IF YOU ASK ME. THA'S A WHOLE OTHER ISSUE. So after waiting another 30 minutes for this guy to come back. HE pulls up with an ATTITUDE! His partner had the box and the rude driver says to me "where do you want it", I said in the house. THEY STARTED SPEAKING TO EACH OTHER IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE, WHICH WAS ALSO RUDE. I asked him why he made me rush here and why he left. RESPONSE WAS RUE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. No apology for not calling, no apology for leaving after he told me he was in front. Then he shoves his phone in my face (practically) and says sign. I just looked at him like, what! Who behaves like this. I told him I haven't inspected the mattress, he says its a drop off just sign. I said to him, you know what you are a rude rude person. He says " OH yes, yes I am , I am rude, that's right." SMIRKING AND LAUGHING AT ME AS WELL. I said I can't believe you drive for this company, what a shame. At this point his partner had already gone back to the truck. I said I'LL be sure to give you the best review possible, being zeros all across. HE said he didn't CARE. AND SAID MY NAME IS FABIAN. I SAID, OH I KNOW WHAT YOUR NAME IS BELIEVE ME. IT'S ON THE TRACKING INFO. I was SHOCKED that this guy was actually making my delivery. At this point I do have a concern that the complaints I put in to the store and customer service about him, TO MANAGERS AND SUPERVISORS MAY back fire. The concern is that he knows where I live and if anything happens to my house, car or me will be taken very serious. This is how rude and unprofessional I felt and feel he is. That if he gets reprimanded he may know I made the complaint. But I can't let this go, this is not how business is conducted, customers should not be treated this way. I'm in retail and I know this is not proper. CALLED TO COMPLAIN TO CUSTOMER SERVICE, GOT NOWHERE, SAID THEY'D HAVE A TALK WITH HIM, he's just gonna lie about it all. They offered me a certificate to the store, really... like I want to shop here anymore. I said credit my credit card, I'd take that, they said they couldn't. HUH. What a joke! SO UPSET I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING ELSE HERE OR CITY FURNITURE AS THEY ARE THE SAME COMPANY. LOST MY BUSINESS FOREVER!!! I WILL TELL ALL MY FRIENDS TO BE AWARE OF THEM AS WELL. AND I CAN SEE FROM ALL THESE OTHER REVIEW THIS COMPANY DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEIR REPUTATION. My furniture was delivered on 1/28 but for some odd reason your sales rep Kendall told me that my 3 piece coverlet set that was on back order would be delivered THE FOLLOWING SUNDAY 2/2. He even called me on 1/31 to confirm that it would be delivered just for me to call on 2/2 at 4pm wondering why it WAS NOT delivered. The rep continued to tell me that it would be delivered on 2/9. So I asked her if I could pick it up today instead, she said i could & that the place closes at 9:30pm today and that she would call me back to give me the details. I call back again because I did not receive a call back only for the next rep to tell me that the pick up center closed at 6pm today. There wasn’t any run around or mis information when it was time for me to give y’all my money or run my credit check but yet y’all clearly have a problem giving away the right damn information. It’s small things like that that will never make me wanna do business with y’all.

We had a house fire and lost all of our furniture. We purchased bar stools, a sofa and an adjustable bed/frame Barstools broke within a month they has ti send a tech to create custom brackets to keep the legs on The sofa broke a few months latter and after hours of fighting they replaced the sofa The bed frame now is broke and the manufacturer refunded ashley after a tech had to come out several times. Its now been 6 months and I send an email everyday and call 3-4x and still nothing. This place is the absolute worst and the hours on hold with their customer service is a nightmare They are the Comcast in furniture

I recently bought the queen size 15 inch Bonita Springs mattress and box spring. I am pleased with my purchase, and the way the salesman carefully explained each part of the process. My only suggestion would be that if someone is being sold a 15 inch mattress, it would be helpful if they were told that they do need to consider getting extra large queen/king sheets, blankets, and shorter dust ruffles, as the mattress is 15 inches deep, and the corresponding boxspring is only 5 inches.
We purchased a living room set for $6000 from Ashley furniture and was happyy they would deliver the next day awesome we thought. When the delivery came we had them set it up we made sure all chairs opened and closed and that all buttons were ok we signed off. our mistake was to not sit in every chair our son sat in recliner and it would not close. come to find Out that our daughter saw the box with the same recliner in it fall to the concrete we called Ashley and spoke to sales rep he had claims department call us so we could put in a claim they told us we could either accept $35 check and deal with or wait a week for delivery we told them we don't want a check and why is it a so long for a replacement when Ashley has everyday this week open for delivery they replied that is the earliest we can do we asked to speak to manager when we did he said again that was the earliest they can do so we said ok fine as soon as he went back to computer the manager stated the we now have to wait 2 weeks. Bad business we have delivery guy on camera dropping product and still delivering and did not make sure all was good before he left and on tool of it we tipped very well we even told Ashley furniture this and still have to wait 2 weeks

There are more affordable places, but shop around, you never know what bargain you'd get with their promotions. If you are searching for eco-friendly or organic furniture, you might want yo search elsewhere, but be prepared for a higher price tag, but high value.

Paid for premium delivery and I got a ripped and stained sectional and a 5 year old could have done a better job of drilling on the feet. Spoke to not only customer service but also the rep who sold me the sectional and neither were helpful. I highly recommend you don’t buy from this place. But if you do, do not under any circumstances pay for the premium delivery. You have a better chance of drilling the feet in correctly yourself with a blind fold on.

It has been a disaster. The main keyboard drawer was damaged and not opening proerly upon arrival. I followed the procedures and called to report the issue. I asked that they send me a new desk since it was damaged upon arrival. They said no. Instead, They sent someone out to attempt to repair it. He reported that it could not be repaired and new drawers with new tracks were needed. He placed the order in my presence and said drawer would arrive in 2-3 weeks. It has been 4 months and I&'ve spent hours on the phone and in person since then trying to have Ashely ship the parts that their technician deemed necessary. After 2+ months of follow up calls etc. I was told they would send a new desk because they never shipped the drawer and don&'t know why they failed to do so. At this point, I don&'t want a new desk because I have a lot of equipment on it that has been hooked up-i just want the drawer replaced, so I finally was able to have them process the shipment of the new drawer that the technician placed (which was supposed to arrive 3 months ago at this point and never did for reasons unexplainable by Ashely). Today, after hours of calls and in person visits, I received the drawer without a single piece of hardware despite the technician having placed an order for a new drawer and hardware. Now I have a drawer in my office that will serve no purpose and need to go through all the hoops again to obtain the tracks so I can use the drawer. I just want a refund at this point but of course Ashley will only give you a store credit so that you have to purchase more crap from them that they won&'t stand behind. Awful awful awful experience. First and last purchase from Ashely. Drive right by it and go straight to Rooms to Go!

I gave 2 🌟 because I ordered and TV stand. I got it on schedule; however, the TV stand was broken underneath so I called customer services and they were really nice and helped me by schedule a delivery of another TV stand so I got the second TV stand. The delivery guys left and I noticed that the second TV stand (replacement) had a crack on the right size. Called again so now I am waiting for the third TV stand to come. The other problem I experienced that I ordered a dinning table. The barstools have scratches so they sent someone to fix them. This dinning table came with 2 chairs and 4 barstools. I bought it 3 weeks ago and I still waiting for the chairs to come. Customer services is great but they need to be more carefull when they delivery the furniture.

We had the most wonderful experience with our rep, Ashley S., at the Fort Lauderdale location. She was very pleasant, she knew all the details on every product plus more and the most important thing was that she did not pressure us. She helped us stay within our budget and found a way to include small upgrades within the budget. She did not rush us and gave us plenty of personal time to roam around and evaluate the options she pointed out. We came about 2 hours before closing time and she did not rush us and was very tentative towards our needs (even charged my phone for me while we were there LOL). She was even able to provide a visual image of our living room to help make sure we had the correct dimensions and/or layout. My fiancé and I will be returning in the future to that location strictly because of her, as a few days earlier we had a horrible experience at a competitive retail store (R2G). Ashley S. definitely made up from our horrible experience at the other competitive store and she is the definition of great customer service. Absolutely no complaints on customer service, pricing and quality of products.
This is our second purchase at the Oakland store with Nate and, once again, he was incredibly patient and helpful. We found a beautiful bedroom set and he helped us pick out the perfect pieces to go with the set and helped us with the color options. We could not be happier with this store and with the sales rep. A+ service!! If you go in, ask for Nate!
I bought a set of furniture from Ashley in August and spent $3100. This included a Mattress Bonita Spring Firm 15&" and I paid $949. I asked fo a discount at the time and was told that this was the best price. So I was really surprised to see that the exact same mattress is available online from the Ashley website for $643. That&'s more than $300 less and I feel cheated. Apparently Ashley is a franchise and the stores set their own prices. Moral of the story, don&'t buy from the store, go online.

Again I give Ashley's Furniture ZERO stars. So now that my second set of furniture was delivered because the first set was damaged and made of poor quality and because it was on line I never got to see or touch it as it was a special order that's why Ashley's would not REFUND my money and made me reselect new set from them. One of the night stands was damaged, it had a screw poking through the wood and I cut my finger on it. I Called Ashley's 1-800 number and they called me back to schedule a repair person to fix it. Well after a 20-30 minute really heated conversion, The 2 options they gave me was to have it repaired or They would take $75 off of nightstand if I would keep it as is which VOIDS out your warranty! I refused both I did not think it was fair ESPECIALLY after paying $2400 on my credit card since they would not let me finance it because of original purchase (which was only like $1200) and argued with Lady then she finally said that she would schedule the nightstand to be replaced with another new one then she came back with a counter offer that I had two more options the next one was they would take $150 off if I would keep it as is and when I refused that then she offered to give me a $200 gift card if I would keep it as is. I very upset after spending $2400 on brand new furniture refused and demanded to have a new one replaced. So by the end of the phone call they scheduled me another new one to come in. New nightstand was delivered and it seem to look and be OK after delivery people left I went to go put it in my bedroom the bottom drawer did not stay closed and sealed and popped open as I was putting it agains wall and busted me in shin leaving a very nasty bruise, then on top of that my chest of dresser the second drawer would not close the whole right side od drawer is hanging , you have to lift the drawer up in order to get it to close. When Ashley‘s called me that afternoon to confirm I had received a delivery I explain to them both problems once again I was scheduled to have a repair person come repair the furniture. I told them I needed a Saturday and she told me that they only worked on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I scheduled a Tuesday I explained to her I need it first thing in the morning because now I was being inconvenienced and would have to take off of work to be there and I work in the medical field. She told me they would call me and I could request the time I needed. Monday came around as I was scheduled for Tuesday and I was never contacted by anyone until the repair person called me at 7:15 pm to tell me that my window that they would be there would be between 8 o’clock and 11 o’clock am, I explained to him that I needed first things that I am in a medical profession and work for a physician and now I have to call my job and doctor the night before to tell them I was not coming in because Ashley‘s furniture had inconvenienced me and given any broken damage products, repair person explain to me that they work on Saturdays which was shocking to me because when it was scheduled I requested a Saturday but Ashleys informed me that there were no Saturdays they did not work Saturdays I had to pick a Tuesday or Thursday after a 30 minute heated conversation with repair person explaining all of my problems I was very upset, he was very nice and got a hold of Company and rescheduled me for a Saturday, once again I still have damage furniture still waiting on somebody to fix it and Ashley‘s has done nothing to accommodate or any customer service what so ever, as far as taking any money off of my order especially after all of the troubles that I’ve had to go through.Their customer service is the worst service I have ever had in my life and I WOULD NEVER recommend anybody to purchase from them only because of the service I have received and what I have had to go through since July when I ordered the product in my first delivery was August 3. Obviously they DO NOT CHECK NOR INSPECT IT before it leaves store to be delivered to customers.
First time in Ashley’s furniture and it won’t be my last. The service was amazing and I left feeling great. Found a lot of beautiful pieces of furniture. I can’t wait for the delivery to come.
Went in to buy a mattress. They seemed to have the best prices on line. Went into the store had a nice sales person help me. He was attentive without being annoying. When I decided on the one I wanted he wrote up the deal. I then showed him the price in line which was less. No problem. He said that tends to happen. I received the online price without any issue. It was delivered and I am enjoying it.

We walked into Ashley near Wilton Manors not knowing what to expect, but we had an amazing experience. Dave was incredible. He was sweet and knowledgeable and walked us through the store, helping us decide on which pieces to take. I shopped all over town to find the best price on the Willowton bedroom set by Ashley. I checked the prices everywhere that I could find the pieces in the set. I considered buying it online and paying the shipping, I considered buying it in a store where I could pick it up with my car or rent a truck and it turned out when Ashley furniture store had a sale I was able to get it at a great price with free delivery. The Ashley furniture delivery men were so nice and so careful with the furniture and set it up beautifully and removed all the boxing it was wonderful I love my new bedroom set

The delivery service was really unbelievable. The gentlemen were early, efficient, polite and respectful. They set everything up the way I wanted and took all the packaging, just like The contract said they would. I guess I’ll see how the quality holds up, but the delivery was flawless. Oh, and the employees at the showroom on Federal... top notch. Not only were they friendly and lighthearted (Nate), they were knowledgeable (Ashley and Nate). But above all, they were kind, I did not catch the gentleman’s name on the evening of July 2nd, that turned the music down in the store so that my son, who has sensory issues, could tolerate being in the store while I shopped. Thank you! I need more furniture. I will be back!

Great sales help, good price, love the Darcy couch......why you would discontinue it is beyond me! Purchased on Saturday for Thursday delivery, that's great!

This place looks nice but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired! Found something I liked and was convinced by the sales person that it is easy to apply for credit - which I did. Approved in minutes and all is well and good. Was told to pick out what kind of pillows we would like and I said "none, they are awful" - salesperson said they were free - so I figured I would take them and recover them. The delivery was fine except they delivered an extra piece of furniture which took over my room. I reviewed the invoice and had the extra piece returned for the correct piece. The corporate office tried to bill me for the extra delivery - when they messed up the order, then they billed me for the pillows, which were supposed to be free and then they billed me a late fee even though they had never sent an invoice!! I kept calling the salesperson and she insisted it would be fixed - two billing cycles later and I am still waiting. The sofa is not even stuffed properly and I will have to restuff it myself and I don't this sofa will even last 5 years. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more money and buy better quality!
My fiancé and I went to get a couch for our new apartment. Wesley was incredible, very attentive and friendly. He made sure that we were pleased with our purchase. He measured everything for us. He also explained all the paper work one by one. We will definitely be back for more things during the holiday season :)
Went in on a Saturday and the salesman Antonio Cortes was super helpful and knowledgeable. I told him what I needed and he quickly showed me all the options available. The sale went smoothly, delivery was quick. The delivery men were super helpful too. They went out of their way and helped me get rid of my old bed and mattress. I just received my bed and mattress today and i love the quality. Everything from beginning to end exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

If you're a college kid moving into your first place, or you're a single mother with 5 kids, bad credit abd on a severe budget, then the quality furniture here might do.
From the moment I walked into the store until the delivery men left it was such a great experience.
I usually don’t do this but I must be honest. This was the worse experience all my life buying furniture and I will NEVER EVER shop here again or refer anyone here. I did an order with the sales rep by the name of Antonio, Antonio was very friendly and advise me of the normal procedures. He stated that the furnitures were in back order and that it would take 2-6 weeks to get here in which I understood. He stated that he would follow up in 2 weeks to let me know the timing etc. six weeks came and I heard nothing from Antonio, so I decide to call and by doing so I found out that the furnitures came but they came damaged and that it will take another 2 weeks ( a month) to get the pieces. No one called, not him, not a manager no one and for this to be a big company I am not pleased. The furniture came after damaged but because of the bad experience we will just eat this and count this as a loss. Never again will I shop here, my wife loves your things but we won’t come here again, so take the money you got but I will never refer this to friends and family so they can have such poor customer service, only to be delivered a damaged furniture.

We just bought a sofa bed from Ashley Furniture online. One of the cushions ripped open just 3 weeks after we purchased the couch. We have tried to contact someone regarding the situation, but they keep transferring the call to an extension that just sends you straight to voicemail. We have left voicemails and we have emailed ashley/city furniture about the defected product, but we have yet to get a reply even after someone told us we would get a reply within 24 hours. We paid over $700 for a couch (sofa bed) that literally busted open after just 3 weeks of having it. If I could I would leave 0 stars. This is not the type of costumer service you should be providing and such an expensive product should not be falling apart days after it was purchased.
Great experience over all! David on US1 in Fort Lauderdale was very knowledgeable and was not pushy at all; which made it much easier to shop comfortably. Delivery was on time and the guys were very polite. They had the couch and recliner assembled within 15 minutes and handled everything very carefully -which I was very thankful for-. The quality of the furniture reassures me that I made the best decision for my family. I just couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Ashley Furniture!

Horrible!!! You buy your furniture here at the Fort Lauderdale store and the store sends the furniture from this CRAPPY CITY FURNITURE!! Do NOT go there! My dining room set came damaged and CITY FURNITURE sent a technician WITHOUT US EVEN sitting or using the set! Now I sat in ALL MY CHAIRS and 1 of them has NO CUSHION! I just spoke to RICHARD from CITY FURNITURE and he argues with me and RICHARD claims to be a SUPERVISOR! I&'m just warning everyone out there to be careful when you buy NEW FURNITURE from either of these stores!

Hi it’s Destiny. I would like to say thank you to David and Perrion who helped me. David is new but is on point with followup. Calling and sending you a quote after visiting the store. That’s why I went back. Perrion assisted me with so many questions even though he was not my sales rep. I gave 5 stsrs eventough The bed came chipped and also without support promised. David Called For a better resolution I spoke with the manager Wesley who saved the day! Please call the store manager not the 800 Customer service they are not as helpful at first. I’m happy still.

Our experience with Ashley furniture started off with finding a dining room table that was great quality at a great price. Sure there are many options now on where to get furniture by Ashley furniture makes the delivery easy. They on pack the item assemble the item and take away any trash or boxes. This quality of service is priceless and takes away any stress out of a damaged good or hours wasted on assembling furniture. We just went back for bedroom furniture!
