Visit to the store was painless with no one jumping out at you, selection was abundant, ordering was painless except for payment which was not bad at all!, delivery was in 2 days, gentleman that delivered furniture were polite and friendly! Can’t say a bad thing from start to finish!!

I was on limited time and needed to furnish our condo in Sanibel during my short stay. I was fortunate to encounter Phil, who helped me SOOOO SO MUCH in finding the pieces I needed, in the colors and styles that suited our space the best. Phil saved me so much time! He is so knowledgeable and friendly- it was an absolute pleasure working with him. PLUS, he was able to arrange for next day delivery - an absolute godsend! Thanks again, Phil. I am recommending you and City Furniture/Ashley Furniture to everyone!

Dillon did a very good job of helping me furnish my home. He put my favorites in his laptop and prices. When we were all dine he gave me a larger discount. Very friendly guy and very helpful. I would recommend him for the sales rep.

Daniel’s Screen Services did an amazing job! They were very punctual, quick to respond, and fairly priced. While they were here, they went above and beyond — replacing the door hinges, tightening a loose screen frame with screws hanging out, and making sure everything looked great. Very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

I take a long time to find a sofa I like. My husband and I found one called Maggie. It took awhile but I ordered the sofa, oversized chair with the ottoman over the phone. I had to call multiple times before someone answered the phone. Everything went smoothly and asked if they remove the old sofa and was told that they would. Today the furniture was to be delivered. We moved everything out of the way and had everything ready. Delivery guys said they were not allowed to remove and set it outside. So the salesman lied to get his commission from the sale. If we would have known, we would have had someone do it for us. I refused the order and canceled the order. I will not do business with a company that lies. This was the first and last time I purchased anything from here. When we were in the store looking for a sofa, that sales rep was a little obnoxious and went as far to say that if we waited to buy it, the price would be much higher. I should have taken that as my first sign to walk away and not buy anything from them. When I called to cancel the order, Amanda didnt care that a customer was lied to and was canceling the order. Maybe its an on going situation and how they do business. A whole day wasted. Oh, and to call a customer at 730 in the morning to confirm the delivery is crazy! I confirmed in a text and also an email. Why call me that early if you're not going to be here until after 12pm? I do not recommend this company.

Great overall experience. We actually ran out of time to get back to purchase an item we wanted so we called the store and it took 5 minutes to place the order over the phone, and the salesperson also received the credit for the sale.

I bought a reclinar chair at the store more than a month ago and I didn’t get it yet. They said it’ll be delivered by January 17 I called to the store a couple times and never answered. When I finally talked with someone the person scheduled my delivery for January 15 and then I received another email saying that it’ll be at January 20. At the day of today I called again cause I never received my chair, and now my chair will be delivered next month. I won’t buy there again I don’t recommend it

Had a wonderful experience. Left feeling very confident of my purchase and Tyler was extremely helpful. Waiting for delivery and will hopefully have the same experience. Tyler stated that he would be able to help me with any questions or concerns that I might have. He encouraged me to contact him at any time.

We went there to buy a bed for our son and ended up buying a couple more items. As expected, we got hunted by the the sales executive at the gate. A guy named Jorge took us to the right place, where we found the bed of our choice. We asked him about holiday discounts and he seemed to get offended by that question. The feeling I got from his comments was, "this place is for rich folks who don't care about discounts... you guys go somewhere else." Anyway, we really liked the sleigh bed and a swivel lazy-boy chair, and we wanted to purchase those. Another sales associate stepped in and closed the deal with us. The items are in back order and we are expecting them to be delivered in mid July. I hope the "white-glove" delivery experience will be better.

On November 25th around 11a, I went to the Ashley Furniture Store/City Furniture off Alico rd in Ft. Myers. I was greeted by two guys as I walked in. Is there anything I can help you with, the guy said. I told them I was looking around. As I walked through both a stores because they are attached together. I found myself wondering why no one asked if I needed help. I was in the store for almost a good 45 minutes. I finally made it back around the two guys who initially greeted me. I said, do you happen to know where I can find these couch sets I had on my phone. I was told those are online only. I asked, do you have anything similar to look at? I was pointed two directions to look. Not once did either guy offer to show me. I made my way around both stores again. Not one sales person stopped to ask me if I needed help. It was if I did exist. As a customer, I’m looking to purchase a new living room set, I was disappointed and felt I not one person cared or offered me help. And when I did, I was pointed in a direction to locate whatever I was looking for. This is very poor customer service. I intend on make my friends/ family aware of the neglect and poor customer service I experienced at this store.

I had an issue with the color of my sectional looking blue. A half hour after delivery I contacted support and the guy was so rude and would not help me. I asked for escalation to someone else and Jen solved my problem and was so sweet. I had to go to the Ft Myers City Furniture where I was greeted by Oscar who was an absolute rock star. Very nice, funny and helpful. He made the whole experience so much better! Thank you Oscar!!!.

3 Queen beds Don't order from Ashley Furniture. I ordered 3 queen beds and the delivery took about a month. When they came one of the boxes had been opened and it looked like the bed had been partially put together so it was obviously a bed that had been returned that they were repackaging and selling which is fine but I asked the delivery person if all of the screws and parts were there. He assured me three times that everything was there. I went to look and he rushed the delivery. As it turned out the screws were missing not a few all of them. I also had to get directions out of the other bed because it was no directions. I'm angry because I feel like he knew the screws or parts of the bed were missing and he rushed the delivery and dropped the beds off anyway. That's just terrible business.

I dont know what happened to this place. We use to love our furniture. The quality is shit now. We purchased new living room set and other furniture for our new home. Absolutely garbage! Our first delivery was damaged from the truck. They dropped our stuff everything, we immediately called to complain and we still had furniture left here. We finally had them reorder everything and it arrived today. The first furniture to open was our TV stand/fireplace, it was put together poorly from manufacturer. Loose screws falling out, pieces cracked because screws were not put in level, nothing was fit together right. This is just the first box opened. I will never go there again.

Never Again!! I actually posted a review a few months ago expressing the importance of examining your furniture purchased before the delivery drivers leave your house because different pieces started to fall apart soon after. I bought a bedroom set, a dining room set, and a desk. Long story short someone from the store contacted me to make it right. That didn't happen... After several visits to my house, replacement of furniture, and repair of furniture the end result is a joke. Example: The desk I purchased was cracking in spots all over. I was told I would get a credit to use to make a different purchase within 72 hours. Needless to say I had to go to the store to activate my credit and wait over an hour before I could actually use the credit to make another purchase! Once I found something it actually exceeded my credit by $30. Instead of just deducting the $30 I had to pay it! Then minutes after leaving the store I get a credit for $10 emailed to use towards another purchase! The sad thing is it wasn't about the money for me. I paid cash for my original purchase in hopes that I would receive quality furniture which didn't happen. I wished I would have read other peoples reviews beforehand. I would have been better off going to a thrift store instead of spending thousands of dollars for 2nd hand furniture!

Second purchase after a horrible experience with bed and mattress. Now, I placed a recliner which I just made my first payment yesterday and now this!! I'm done with City Furniture/Ashley.

The place is huge, the selection is massive—basically the Costco of couches, but with less free samples and way more throw pillows.

My wife Nancy and I purchased a new sofa from Ashley and had a fabulous experience. Our sale person Sevilla Lopez showed us the sofa and did a great job explaining its features and configurations . We can’t wait for the delivery.

Terrible! Warranty on fabric is a scam! Posted about this and found that many of my friends have also had terrible experiences ranging from lies about availability and delivery dates, to hidden fees, to my same experience of not upholding the fabric warranty, and per their policy they have to replace the couch, except it was discontinued so I only got a percentage of the original cost in a credit that had to be used within 48 hours! Absolute BS!

We left that afternoon, and told her we’d be back the next day. After measuring all the rooms we returned and purchased the furniture. Great sales rep. No pressure.

Let me start of with the positive: Our first purchase with our sales person Oscar was great so I went back 5 months later to make another purchase totaling about $8000.00. I purchased a dining room set along with a desk first and then I purchased a bedroom set. Now for the negative: Both deliveries were rushed followed by a phone call from a supervisor asking about the delivery and explaining that I had 24 hours to notify of any issues. At the 2nd delivery I actually tried to contact the delivery person minutes after he left. Needless to say, I got the runaround after getting in touch with someone at the store about the damages I noticed with my furniture. I had to wait almost 3 weeks to have someone come out and inspect things I noticed. The man could barely walk and he seemed overwhelmed with his job. He did a touch up on my new furniture. I actually wrote it off as a lesson learned experience but after only owning this new furniture I felt like I needed to speak up because excitement of a new purchase was quickly soured by the quality that we received. My wife and I are empty nesters so the fact that this furniture does not get any busy towards it. This is completely unacceptable that it is chipping and falling apart after barely 6 months of use. Calls to the store seem to make you feel like you are over reacting and getting blamed for not purchasing the warranty. With that being said I want to warn people who make a purchase to DO NOT let the delivery person leave until you fully inspect your purchase with a good eye. This store review site seems to have many positive reviews but if you go to other sites you can review problem reviews, something I wished I would have done before my purchase.

Very nice selection. Some of the pricing is very high and the fee to have them help you build any item is very high and unreasonable. Overall we were happy with the selection and customer service was nice.

I have had eight homes throughout the United States over the years, so I am no stranger to Furniture shopping! The quality of the furniture there had improved from the last time I had been there. Was shopping for a power recliner as I have shoulder surgery coming up and will need to sleep in a safe position without my pets getting in the way for recovery. Overall the experience we had was positive since we found what we wanted, but we weren't the happiest with the gentleman who helped us, Jorge. He seemed confused, distracted, was on his phone a lot, and really wasn't attentive. We found what we wanted and ended up purchasing it the same day for same day pickup but wish we had a different sales person.

My wife and I recently moved to Fort Myers from Wisconsin. Our decision to move with little to no furniture made a trip to Ashley City Furniture our top priority. Lauren was our sales representative who made the process of searching for Living room, dining room and bedroom furniture fun and easy. Her knowledge and experience made the process quick and easy. This location has a large selection to choose from and we will not hesitate to return.

I traveled a long distance to get to this store to check out a couch and they were closed at least 12 minutes before their 9 PM post closing time. I knocked on the door and the sales people refused to open it for me. I just needed five minutes. Kind of unprofessional.

Any time we had questions we could easily reach her and she would show up in a moments notice. We will definitely take a closer look at all the items we loved once our new build is completed. The store is fabulous. We highly recommend it and Randi too.

A good variety of the type of furniture I was looking for. My associate was very helpful.

Horrific! We came in to buy a top grain leather couch and loveseat. I picked three out online and saved it to their website to make it easier. I asked for a leather specialist when we entered. I showed him the pictures and notes I had made about the type of leather we wanted and why. As we were looking at them, my husband noticed a set that really caught his eye. While we were sitting in them I said to the salesperson, “Are these also top grain leather?” He said, yes they are. This whole area is. He told us about all of the features. We decided to buy this set along with a rug and lamps. I asked the salesman if we were going to receive a conditioning kit for the leather and he said, that they don’t have those, unfortunately. I asked if I could use any good brand to clean and condition the leather and he said yes. We were so happy with our purchase. Only to find out when we get home and receive their emails about the financing, products, and delivery info, that it is “FAUX LEATHER!” We almost lost it. I was more than clear on what we were looking for. We called the store only to be told everyone was busy including all of the managers and they would call me back ASAP. I called again after 3 hours and was given the runaround again. The third time, later that night, I spoke to a manager who tried to “handle me.” He didn’t apologize for the mistake or even talk to the salesperson to find out what on Earth went wrong. All he did was agree to cancel our order. I said to him, I can’t believe you aren’t doing anything at all to make us feel any better. He said, well you are more than welcome to come back in to shop. Geez, thanks a lot! I asked for a Corporate phone number and he said there isn’t one. Don’t shop here!

Rafael helped us find the perfect dining table and even a nicely made king size bed. He's very patient and listens to what you want so shopping is enjoyable. There's a large selection between City Furniture and Ashley's so you can find lots of nice items at an affordable price.

Once upon a humid Saturday morning, we wandered into Ashley/City Furniture in search of a new sectional. Just a casual browse. Enter Denise. Denise, it turns out, had always dreamed of being a ninja. You could tell by her silent footsteps and uncanny ability to vanish and reappear just when we least expected. Unfortunately, Denise is no ninja. Not even close. Every step we took, she mirrored. Every sectional we paused at, she observed with the intensity of a Japanese Sparrowhawk. When we turned around suddenly, she'd pretend to study a nearby lamp with Oscarworthy overacting. I think at one point I caught a glimpse of her rolling across a lovely patterned rug straight behind an electric fireplace. It quickly turned from amusing to uncomfortable. Despite politely stating we were "just looking" multiple times, Denise continued her not so stealthy surveillance mission. She weaved through the coffee tables like a crouching tiger with two left feet, she was for sure no hidden dragon. Her version of customer service felt more like being tailed in a spy movie except less Bond, more awkward middle school play. We didn’t stick around long, as I feared that she would resort to using store credit cards as shuriken, I rushed my family to safety. It’s hard to appreciate elegant upholstery when you're being stalked, not by a ninja, but by the curse of commission based sales. Sadly, we never got to see the full selection, ninja Denise made sure of that. 2 stars—one for the selection of furniture, one for effort. Stealth… needs work.

Our experience purchasing furniture for the new home we were purchasing seemed to go smoothly until we put a partial down payment on our order. We were charged the full amount of the order. Plus the downpayment! We were told the correction would clear that day. It didnt. We needed the funds for inspections and appraisals that day. Even contacting the store manager didnt help. He actually seemed not to care at all. We were charged extra for late payments due to their errors. And offered no apologies in return.

This was a seamless purchase.. The sales person brought us to the items we were looking for. She helpful in offering choices. Our checkout process was quick and thorough. We had a great experience.

My wife and I went in to look at a new bed. 2 employees were sitting at the front desk to worried about what was going on with their phones. We walked around the entire store and saw no one. As we walked out they did say bye but still did t look up. Lost our business and won’t be back.

My husband and I were moving from New Jersey to Cape Coral. We saw furniture at our local store that we liked. I called Ashley in Fort Myers and spoke with Randi. We gave her all the numbers of the furniture that we wanted. She said it would take about 2 weeks to get. I expressed how overwhelming it is to move and purchase furniture. She said she would make it a very pleasant experience.....well, it was not! Delivery was scheduled for 3/18. The day before I receive a text message saying our dining room furniture was not going to be delivered and my sales representative would be in touch. I called her twice that day and she never responded. Called again the next day and I missed her call. So I texted her to find out when the dining room furniture was coming. She said she had to check with the management team for an answer. In the interim our bedroom furniture was to be delivered between 2-5 pm. When she finally got back to me, she said the furniture would be in on April 1st. The delivery of our bedroom furniture still hasn't arrived and it's now 5:30. I received a call from the driver at 4:30 saying he would be over within an hour. Well, that never happened. When I called again, I was told our delivery was canceled. I reach out to Randi again to find out if the dining room furniture can come in sooner and told her our delivery was canceled. They said they couldn't get into our gated community. This has not been a positive experience at all! We went to a local furniture store looking for living room furniture and it was delivered the next day. It's amazing that Lowe's, Mattress Firm and FOS furniture had no problem getting into our community but your company did? Hmm. We canceled our entire order and will never do business with your company. Completely disappointed and Randi never called to apologize to me......I guess you don't need our business! Our Ashley store in New Jersey has much better customer service.

Updating my review since issues were resolved* I notified Ashley Furniture within 24 hours of shipment delivery. There was damage to one of the items delivered and Ashley Furniture set up a repair date two weeks away. The date came and it was a No Call No Show. Attempted a second time and same thing No Call No Show. The third attempt only took place after leaving a negative review. I then found out from the Social Media Department at Ashley Furniture whom reached out to me over the negative review, that they actually don't have anyone that services my address, so that explains all the No Call No Shows. Ashley Furniture store ended up agreeing to an credit amount to my bank account, over repairing the furniture. This of course causes me more concern since I purchased the extended warranty for the furniture.

Phill had great, great excellent customer service, very knowledgeable, very, very helpful, very friendly, and Accommodating and patient with me. Excellent all around service in every category.

Phil took care of me today and it was my first time buying a piece of furniture so I didn’t really know what I was doing, immediately I walked through the door and was greeted by Phil. He got right into figuring out what I want and how to work with my price range, showed me all great options and let me really figure out what I wanted. He walked me through the purchase process with my mother on the phone and made us both feel like we were being taken care of. Overall my experience was amazing, I think Phil is a great asset to this company! Make sure you ask for him when shopping here!

What a great experience, shopping at Ashley for a new mattress. Our salesman, Andrew, was great to work with ... very knowledgeable about the products, and the whole process was just great. They have so many beautiful furnishings there, too.

We purchased an entire house worth of furniture and were lucky to get Denise Barnhart as our sales associate. The delivery guys were awesome, considerate of our purchased professional and knowledgeable.

My husband and I had a positive experience with our purchase at Ashley Furniture today. We were interested in a recliner. The floor display was in one color and the salesman, Tyler Lackey who assisted us brought up the other color on his tablet which we liked. We were told the chair would be delivered boxed with minimal assembly by us. My husband asked Tyler if he could disassemble the floor model and reassemble it to see how easy or difficult it would be. Tyler allowed my husband to do this which reassured us of the ease of assembly. In closing, I would like to say that my husband and I were impressed with Tyler's willingness to make sure we would be happy with our purchase.

This past Saturday I went to this store looking for a bedroom set, and a dining set. I looked for quite a while, and was never approached by a single employee offering assistance. There were many around, but mostly chattering amongst themselves, or sitting in furniture playing with their phones. I went home and ordered the grey caitbrookcounter height table and chairs. I didnt get a discount, it was not on clearance…I paid full price. It showed up today, Wednesday January 29, 2025. I carried all three boxes up the apartment stairs. The boxes looked trashed, not a single square corner left, and tape everywhere. I opened the chairs first, and they were surprisingly ok. One had a chip, but I could fix it, or live with it. 3 hours of assembly, and on to the table. It was damaged, the hardware was already cut opened and taped up like a child fixed a mistake, and the directions were missing. I finally got a place after moving away from Ohio, and a toxic train disaster, and have been furnishing my place as I’ve had the money to do so, and these people sent me a returned item, like I’m trash. Te customer service told me they could offer me 5% back if I just kept it “as is” I said no, and they disconnected. I’ll update my review after they open, and I try again. As of now, I’d tell anyone to shop somewhere else. I’m pretty sure we all know that this is not the top of the line expensive furniture, and I can deal with that. I won’t deal with low quality people. This is blatant theft.

Had the best sales individual, she was polite, on top of game, listened to my needs and made me feel comfortable although wasn't spending alot of money, she treated me like a real person. Great job

On arrival, I was greeted by friendly sales associates who enquired about the purpose of our visit. They then pointed us in the right direction and allowed us to view and test the furniture at our leisure. Not once did we feel pressurized to buy anything, yet Tony was always around to answer questions.

OK place, was told they do soft pulls for credit turns out thats a lie, credit pull was nearly 20 points for a couch, overall decent place but would probably not go back. Was told no more than 5 points when applying for credit... couch was new but the credit pull was insane! Typical place 🙄 😒

Honestly I love the product I choose, and hopefully it will last a good amount of time, so I don’t have to go through Their Customer Service or Sale Agent again, because they obviously don’t care once the sale is made, I’ve been waiting since November 2024 for my Bed to be fully delivered, and every time they come there is one piece that is not available, while at the time of purchase the Agent told me that they had all pieces in stock ( lies) , when You contact the sale agent , they won’t pick up, nor calling back even if you left a VM, they rescheduled my delivery without letting me know, not even a call, and when I called on the day I was supposed to received the items, that’s when the Agent told me maybe the item was not available again that’s why they rescheduled you. like come on, Communication please work on that, thank you!!!

Bought items on Ashley Credit through Synchrony bank. We were told by the sales person we would not have to make a payment until all items were delivered. 3 items were on back order for 3 months. We immediately got a notice to make a payment, and tried to contact Synchrony bank. We called Ashley, and they stated they would extend the first payment until delivery. This was a blindside since we were already told we wouldn't have to make a payment until all items were delivered. We called Synchrony bank again to confirm, and the representative was very condesending and rude hiding behind a phrase of its in your "terms and conditions". When we finally received all of our items, we received a statement to make a payment. The payment was made and we had a confirmation. We then got another notice stating that the payment was still due. When I called, another rep with the same condensending attitude kept referring to "terms and conditions", when I asked "where" in the terms, he just kept repeating himself. I finally got a supervisor on the phone, and he stated we missed a number in the online payment. I asked him to prove it, and send me the transaction details. Of course he stated he couldn't and hid behind "company policy". This company and credit program is a scam and a joke. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY. Update: Ashley called me just now to take down my review and offered "something" you can do. I asked sure, give me my $30 back they charged for an NSF fee with which they sent a confirmation that they received the funds. Also, fix the repairs I have already posted. Ashley's sub contracted handyman only fixed one out of the three.

Lady was nice but she told told us it would be deliver this week but when I called to add to my order I was told the original bed we already ordered and paid for was out of stock and wouldn’t be available for a month and we already got rid of all our furniture in preparation for our new beds and couch so now we have nothing to sleep on until it either comes back in stock or buy a different bed

I shopped online for the dining table look that I was looking for and ended up on the Ashley’s Furniture website. I went to the Ashley store near me, it was my first time in. Kelsey was amazing from my first step into the store, he greeted me with a smile and listened to what I was looking for. He took me to the dining tables that fit my description and within a few minutes, I was ordering my set and signing paperwork on the spot. In and out, easy peasy! Kelsey was easy to talk to and was genuinely interested in what I had to say. Customer service seems to be dying these days but not with him!
