After ordering furniture and it just barely not fitting (should’ve double checked measurements), we returned two of the four pieces and were prompted to get a credit. After two and a half weeks of not receiving said credit, we spoke with corporate who went on to communicate with this local store and advised me that my credit has now been processed. After hearing this, I contacted the store asking why it took them this long to even submit a credit request in-store since delivery and the store over the phone the day of delivery confirmed the returned items and credit was to be processed along with the amount credited. Their response was “we don’t really know why it didn’t get credited” and the manager I was speaking to was extremely short with me and seemed irritated at me calling. Definitely one of the top 5 worst customer service experiences I’ve encountered.
Damar, provided great service, patience and outstanding professionalism. He was also very knowledgeable of the product. However, if he was not sure of any questions I asked regarding the product, he was humble enough to ask another associate or his supervisor, which says a lot about his character and personality. I assure, you would not be disappointed in asking for Sales Associate Damar. Great job and thanks again for your assistance, Damar!

First off, Ashley Furniture proved LESS EXPENSIVE than ANY of the local discount furniture stores-- KNOW THAT, FULL STOP! Next FIND PAUL & SHANICE! Now to the rest of my experience, Paul and Shanice are beyond a G-d send(s)! From telephone calls to sms messaging, they were nothing short of SPECTACULAR. Where the deliveries had multiple issues of rescheduling, ALL members of the local Store Team worked with us (me and my 80 yr. old disabled Korean veteran flatmate) to see us through the delays. My only word of caution would speak to after purchase delays. Beyond that, all in all, a professional experience. Ashley Customer Service Team is lacking as to true problem solving skills and would be an open training opportunity, moving forward. That and their remote call-in service is awkward and time consuming-- Ashley Corporate Team -- DO BETTER! Overall, while I'm still awaiting deliveries I have the utmost faith in the Delivery and Store Teams to see us through. Thank you! -w

My husband, granddaughter and I visited the Gainesville, Florida store today. We were greeted by a lovely young woman named Kayla Jergenson. She was immediately very helpful and informed us where the items we were interested in were located. She allowed us time to look around for a while and then found us to answer any questions we might have and help us look up availability of what we needed. Kayla was extremely helpful and never pushy, she helped without making us feel pressured. We want to express that she treated us with great kindness and patience. She never made us feel that any questions we had were an inconvenience. Today’s experience was wonderful and we will be planning to return to check out some more items. We were helped by several other employees such as the manager who was also very nice and personable. Having such outstanding employees means a lot to us, at our age, we’re old school, we really appreciate customer service, and their’s was excellent.

I have enjoyed our furniture and the sales team was very helpful. I did have an issue getting my online payment account setup, but I believe this was more of an issue with the credit company. When I called the store to get help, I believe I got someone new or not well trained. Got a call the following day from someone trying to make it right and I appreciate that. All in all, good selection, product and decent service. I do recommend.

Chelsea (Manager), reached out to me after reading my review. She was so upbeat, provided excellent customer service, and was ready to see what she could do to make my experience a better one. She apologized for the misfortune and offered a few solutions. We agreed on resolution. Which made me pleased also, I was more pleased with her letting me know she heard me. That type of personal experience, will make you have a returning customer. I welcome the old way of taking care of your customers any day.

Initially went to a different furniture store, but was given the run around and wasn't going to get the couch I wanted for almost 2 months. Ashley furniture had the couch I wanted and it was available for delivery within the week. Unfortunately they ordered the wrong color which I didn't realize until they delivered it. However, customer service was great and Kayla sorted the issue and has the correct color ordered and scheduled for delivery within a week.
I found some wonderful patio furniture thanks to my salesperson Kayleigh. A great deal for the end of the season. Today it was delivered, set up, and cleaned up in about 20 minutes. It really looks great! I made a good choice with Ashley.

I'm amending my original review. I was initially quite unhappy with the customer service I had received regarding a sectional that was delivered with a missing cushion. The store manager Chelsea reached out to me and was able to track down a replacement cushion the same day, and was also able to get my bed frame delivery moved up to a sooner date. So while there was an initial error, Chelsea demonstrated excellent service recovery. I am very happy now.
I brought my dad in over the weekend to find a chair for his room. We were there for quite awhile as my dad likes to test out everything and take his time. Sam was who helped us. He was great. He was patient, a good listener, and helpful. He was determined to help my dad find something suitable, and he did. Chair was delivered yesterday. My dad is a happy guy. They will get my business again. Nice selection, and fantastic customer service. Highly recommend.

I would do 0 star but this will not let me. First of all, we spent almost 3k in the store on a bed and couch. That's not the bad part. We had to load the bed ourselves ( because it was on clearance) which is not that big of deal but still. We were to have a couch delivered the Friday after we bought it and the delivery people went to the wrong address and and showed up a 1/2 hour before the window of delivery. (1230-430).We tried for 3 days to get a time nailed down due to another appointment in the morning that could not be rescheduled. We got the run around. The morning of said delivery we get a text notification they are 5 mins from our house. We spend the next 30 mins on the phone trying to get a later time in the day and given the run around. Get out of said appointment and get a phone call from Ashley Homestore and explain what happend and was asked if someone could be home by 130pm. Absolutely, bust butt to get across town only to get a call saying oh sorry that's not going to work the truck is too far away now. Get home and look at camera and no delivery truck was ever here!!!!!!!So, I call customer service and am told the couch and ottoman could be delivered later this afternoon,salesperson was supposed to call me back and confirm. Call never came.So,we call. Assistant store manager answers we explain what happened and get put on hold for another associate to pick up and tell us the truck is in route back to warehouse. A request for delivery Saturday with no guarantees. We even offered to pick up from store.yeah not a option it has to be delivered. So we are now at the mercy of Ashley delivery. What happened to customer service???? We work EMS and have wonky schedules so we have to do a lot on our off days. I promise if I had the day sit home the couch would not have been here until the end of the window. Absolutely a shame that customer service is lost.
The representative was attentive when going to the store, the sales process was very good, but what bothered me was the home delivery staff, they made a small hole in the back of the bed. and they left me almost all the screws loose on the bed, especially the bars that cross from one end to the other, they didn't put screws on some sides, and they hit the back of the bed, and I called and they gave me attention for the complaint, but they didn't solve the problem, they tried to cover up the small cracked area with paint, that's crap, a botch, those who assembled the bed and those who delivered it have no ethics in their work, they have no morals when doing their job, because at least they should have reported that they hit the bed in a corner of the back, AND LASTLY THE COMPANY WAS NEGLIGENT, BECAUSE INSTEAD OF CHANGING THE BACK OF THE BED, WHAT THEY DID WAS THEY TRY TO COVER IT, AT LEAST THEY SHOULD HAVE GIVE ME A DISCOUNT BUT THEY DIDN'T THAT IS THE COMPANY'S ETHICS! YES YES YOU BUY A NEW CAR WOULD YOU ACCEPT IT WITH A SCRATCH IN THE PAINT OR WITH A DEFECT WITHOUT THE COMPANY FIRST OFFERING YOU A DISCOUNT FOR THE DAMAGE? IT IS SUPPOSED THAT WHEN A CUSTOMER BUYS SOMETHING NEW IT IS NEW AND WITHOUT ANY DEFECT, 2 THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT EVEN IF HE IS NOT, SECOND THIS IS THE LAST BED I BOUGHT AT ASLEY, 3 I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE IN MY FAMILY OR ACQUAINTANCES, THEY CHARGE ME LIKE $200 dollars for delivery which is only about 7 miles from my house, and to top it off they are inexperienced and without ethics and without morals in their work, they assemble the bed leaving loose legs, I recommend that you yourself when you buy something look for a vehicle or a truck and go to pick up, so that bad times are avoided, which in the end will not give them a good solution, I say this not with the intention of affecting anyone but so that they are more professional when making a delivery or assembly, and so that the company does not think only about the money that goes into their pockets but so that the customer comes first in everything.

I will never do business with them again. Sold me on an extended warranty for my couch to protect my investment. Was told "you can stick a knife in the cushion and it will be covered" Went to file a claim and it was not covered. Please don't buy any warranties from these scam artists

Less than a year ago, went to buy a couch at Ashley. Had to deal with the most condescending salesman who had no respect for women. I for sure thought he would have been let go by now. But no. I made the mistake and went back to the store to buy a mattress this past Sunday. He was still there. I thought it would be OK as the manager seemed concerned about my last experience and assured me I would have a better one this time. So I worked with a different salesperson and a manager to buy a mattress. Please note... I HAD to buy a $200 mattress cover in order to get the 120 night in home trial of the mattress. Yesterday, the mattress was to arrive. The salesperson and manager ordered me the WRONG mattress and DID NOT note that the old mattress was supposed to be removed. I called to speak to a manager and was treated horribly. They didn't want to do anything to make things right. Just told me to refuse the delivery and I would get a refund. This morning, I get a call from Ashley to see how my delivery went. This person said the order was never cancelled so she would have to initiate the request to cancel. I have to wait 3 days for someone to approve the cancellation and then another 3-7 days to get my refund unless I am willing to go back to the store to process the refund there. NO THANK YOU! I'll dispute with my credit card in a couple of weeks if I don't get my refund. Then, just an hour ago... another person from Ashley called to see how my delivery went. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! I spent a half hour with the other person earlier this morning to get the thing cancelled. They didn't even look at my account before calling to see that the order was being in the process to be cancelled. I just hung up on her. I can't deal with this company any longer. Last night, I went to Mattress Firm on W. Newberry Road. What a difference!!! I worked with Mavity at the store. She gave me free delivery, free removal of the old mattress and over $400 of store credit for pillows or whatever I wanted. Also, I DID NOT have to buy their mattress cover to get the same 120 free in home trial like I did at Ashley. Mavity went above and beyond and was extremely competent and knowledgeable. She was empowered by her manager to give me discounts and deals to make me happy, something Ashley does not do with their employees. She never once had to get a manager to help her do anything. Her goal was to give me a better deal and experience than I had with Ashley furniture. I get the mattress tomorrow, Friday. I'll update my review if this order also goes sour, but I am pretty confident all will be perfect. Bottom line... shop anywhere else but Ashley Furniture. They don't empower their employees to make the extra effort to create happy customers. And the managers just don't care about their customers.

I did a lot of research online and picked the couch I wanted and when I went into the store Kaitlyn led me right to the style I wanted. I explained to her that I was purchasing my first home, what my needs were, and we discussed all of the benefits to that specific couch. I felt ZERO pressure from her to make a decision that day. Kaitlyn went out of her way and reached out to me on the day of my closing to congratulate me and made no mention of the sofa we discussed. This made me feel even more inclined to proceed with having Kaitlyn help me. She was accessible and helped give me measurements of all of my options, and on the day I was ready to order she unfortunately was not working but made sure I was taken care of by another associate before I even stepped in the store. The entire process was made so much easier by Kaitlyn and I will always recommend her to assist my friends and family with their furnishing needs. On top of the buying process, the delivery went seamlessly. Ashley Furniture was extremely communicative and I was even able to have my sofa delivered 2 days early. I highly recommend paying for assembly as well, the delivery guys arrived at 9:45 and had my sofa in and set up by 10:30. Kaitlyn at the store is nice and sweet. After that, things are screwed up to high heck !!! Even with me being disabled, we were sleeping on the floor for 10 days. Everything was set for delivery on a Tuesday. Come Tuesday, no call, no furniture. Called Ashley customer service on Wednesday. They were as confused as I was. Turns out, their third party delivery people rescheduled delivery of my $16,000 order for 3 weeks later because 2 of 14 pieces were missing. I finally got Ashley to force delivery after I told them to cancel the order and return my $4k deposit. What a nightmare!!!

Bought my 94 yo mother an electric /lift recliner chair 6 months ago. The remote control wires pulled out. We called in for repair. We had to send photos of the control. They ordered a control, and advised they would send it out. At first we thought it was just the control was not working, but after further investigation of chair, realized the motor had broken. Called them back, advised them of other damage, sent photos of the broken motor, they texted us and advised they would send out a technician. Tech arrived, he said , oh, the motor is broken, I' ll have to order the part. I called the store later, they advised me the part won't be in until the middle of May. I advised them my mother is 94, in desperate need of the lift chair, we need this expedited. They didn't care. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Spoke to a Rai, she didn't show any compassion, I asked then if part can't be here for another month, please bring a chair for her to use. Nope!!! Asked to speak to someone higher up, have heard from NOONE!! HORROBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY TAKE YOUR $$, and if there is an issue you are SCREWED!!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
Furniture Country was the only furniture store that had the power chair I was looking for. I love it! It swivels (needed that), rocks, and is a recliner. It was, also, the right color. Mr. Hutchison was so friendly, courteous and not at all pushy. He was knowledgeable and explained all about the chair, plus answered all questions. Thank you for a great experience. My experience with Ashley was the worst ever. I will never buy anything from that business again. The sales associates place the order wrong and because of that i had several deliveries with wrong furniture pieces. Customer service/corporate were even worst because they lie and give you the run around saying they will give me my money back and then tell me they do not do refunds. Three different Ashley employees have come to my house and each time something still did not get done for some reason they give me. From they need a male to do the job or its to late to do the job so it needs to be rescheduled. As I am typing I am still waiting on them to fix something should have been fix before. This is my first home and I thought buying a home was stressful, but no Ashleys Furniture made my first home buying experience so stressful and depressing. I will never refer anyone to this company.

This was actually the third time I've bought my living room from Ashley, and it will definitely be my last.

I liked the sectional we had purchased. The sales staff here were also super friendly and helpful. It has served us well for the 2 years we have had it. Unfortunately, that’s all the years we will have it. The support for the sectional was not durable (the sectional was only used by me and my husband) and already the support in a part that is rarely sat in is torn with absolutely 0 help when contacting about repair options. It is evident that Ashley as a company does not care about making furniture that will last you beyond a year or 2. And my experience with the online support team was a waste of time and resources.

I want to express my frustration with a recent experience at a furniture store. Initially, I was very pleased with the service, especially with the help provided by Courtenay in selecting our nightstands, for which I had initially given a five-star rating. However, when one of the nightstands was delivered in poor condition, the situation quickly soured. Despite promptly calling the store to address the issue, their response was far from satisfactory. They promised to send someone to fix it, but failed to show up not once, but twice. This lack of follow-through was not only inconvenient but also disrespectful, as we were left waiting all day without any specific time frame. To make matters worse, when we requested a refund due to the unsatisfactory service and the faulty product, we were bluntly told about their ‘no refund’ policy. It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing to receive a defective product and then have to repeatedly chase the store for a solution, only to be met with such unhelpful and rigid policies. This experience has significantly marred my view of their customer service.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted and welcomed. We were allowed to walk around and not be hovered over so we could talk over our decisions, but the woman Tina that greeted us was always nearby if we had any questions. The showroom was larger than I expected and everything was set up nicely so we could picture the furniture in our space just by looking at the set up they had. Prices were reasonable for the quality of furniture and the choice to add 5 year warranty I well worth the benefits... I would say the only con to the whole experience is it not being able to be delivered until a little more than 2 weeks after purchase becuase they don't have inventory at this location it has to come from Tampa but overall we are very happy with our new purchase.

John came over and was an excellent help- he listened to what we wanted and directed us toward possibilities, giving us space and time without hovering. He then found our perfect set in the color and style we wanted in the warehouse which he ordered for us! So easy and accommodating! A beautiful store with awesome employees!! Highly recommend!
BUYER BEWARE. It is not possible to obtain a written copy of the terms and conditions of Ashley’s warranty. One girl had a horrible attitude, and she outright HUNG UP on us when asked for her name. They claim that even if you transport the furniture directly to the store, they will not honor the warranty if you’ve had a change of address. However, they could not provide any written documentation, and claim the terms on their website are incomplete, and they do not have the terms and conditions of their own warranty in writing anywhere. This is especially impactful in a college town where people constantly move, and also for military families. Why is this not explicitly advertised? Or written in the terms and conditions on their website? This incident was also a case where the item was broken by Ashley during delivery, and a terrible repair job resulted in a later breakage less than a year later. Despite purchasing a five year warranty, and the fact it was a manufacturer defect, they refuse to take any action at all. Whether for quality of the product, repair, or the quality of customer service, I would strongly advise against purchasing anything from here. This is the first negative review I’ve posted in my life, but I feel like it’s only right to warn people of what they’re getting into.

I went in last week for a living room set and they were like come in on Monday so you can get a better deal as it will be the promotional day..so i did after leaving early from my job as to get this deal of free delivery or half off at least ... i go in and they were like no free delivery.. its just a 10% off if you finance (which was already there before) Absolutely misleading and not doing what's advertised(i got emailed and texted about the deal by an employee, and when i got there, they were like Nope sorry for the inconvenience ) ❌

I recently visited your store with my 10y/o child, and I must express my deep disappointment in the way a situation was handled by the store staff. While my child was trying out a sofa, he unintentionally knocked a blanket off the headrest while I was engrossed in reading that sofa's price information. Instead of offering assistance or understanding, a staff member addressed my child in a rude manner, instructing him not to put his knees on the sofa and to put the blanket back. The abrupt and disrespectful tone used with a child was truly shocking. I told my child to replace the blanket and made it clear that we would not support a store that treats customers in such a manner. To my surprise, the staff member began arguing with me and even pointed at me, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone present. I strongly believe that a more empathetic and customer-focused approach is essential to enhancing overall customer experiences. I hope that my feedback contributes to creating a more welcoming environment for everyone.

THEY CHARGED MY CARD AGAIN FOR THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE FURNITURE RATHER THAN REFUND ME* If you’re willing to wait 3 weeks for furniture that was promised to be delivered within a week, come to this place. The sales rep Lou lied to me and said all pieces were in stock at their warehouse. They are not. My delivery was set for tomorrow, November 7th, and I received a call 3 days before my delivery date saying my piece is on back order and I won’t received until the 18th. I’m having company and need the sofa + chaise I ordered for the plans I made to have people over. I called the store and some bumbling idiot said the manager was busy and that she would call me back soon. Instead, he called me back and said there’s nothing they can do. I asked why the manager didn’t call me back and he stuttered and gave me a weak excuse. Will never buy anything from here ever again.

Tina was so warmly helpful and knowledgeable during the visit to the showroom and then over the phone when placing the order. I've bought numerous couches from Ashley and have loved each one. Excited about this newest one.
They delivered the wrong chair, customer service has been horrible with attempting to get the right chair to match the set. Delivery drivers took pictures, we were asked to submit pictures and here we are over 12days with no replacement after we were told 72hrs the chair would be replaced. Corporate has been of no assistance playing the blame game stating submissions were made to the wrong department. Called the GNV store - Managers don’t answer (Jordan) , just have sales associates (Katrina) saying they’ve submitted request for the manager. Chi at the Ashely customer care center continued to call my husband and I by the wrong names, Melissa his corporate supervisor was supposedly on the line but we were never transferred to her to speak with her. Save yourself the headache from shopping from this place, they do not take ownership for their mistakes. Worst customer service!

On Sept 19th, We purchased a mobility lift chair for a friend in assisted living facility. This is a necessity for her. We were told that the chair would be delivered on 9/28. Finally today, 10/7, the correct chair was delivered. The people at the Gainesville store were polite, friendly. But they made a mistake in the color on original invoice. We understand that Mistakes happen. But the delivery was a mess! We gave specific directions, but twice the driver had issues. Obviously the directions were not followed, plus it was hard to communicate with the driver, because of language differences. We had to make trips back to the store and several phone calls to try to straighten out the problems. We had purchased furniture previously at Ashley’s in Jacksonville, had no problems. We were told they were a “franchise”, not corporate? And that corporate was better- definitely Not our experience! We will not be buying anything else from Ashley’s. Hopefully our friend will not have any more trouble with the chair. She even bought the furniture protection plan. We are very disappointed with the delivery service provided. IF you are Not going to deliver the purchase on the date that you told the customer, notify the customer of the change! I had to call each time to find out that the delivery had been changed! One time I called the local phone number and ended up talking to a guy in the Philippines, with a dog barking in the background. I spent some time on hold waiting for someone to answer. This is a warehouse, corporate office issue. We know that The local store doesn’t set the corporate policy. As I said previously, the local store was helpful in correcting the original mistake of the wrong color number on invoice. They were very helpful, as I previously said.
We purchased a sectional from the Gainesville Ashley Store. We were greeted by Lou B. who was incredibly personable and knowledgeable. Lou helped us to select our sectional which was delivered to our home very quickly and looks amazing. We are very happy with our choice and with Lou's outstanding customer service and professionalism. Highly recommend.

I bought a sofa from them. After having it for 1 month the cushions broke down causing them to sink so far down it was nearly impossible to get up. They sent a technician out 2 times replaced the cushions 2 times with the same results. They continue to say it is normal wear and tear. They won’t allow me to exchange for another sofa. I bought this sofa because the salesperson said tje cushions were superior and not break down. Horrible customer service they will not stand by their products
I spent almost $7,000 on a new couch from Ashley’s furniture. Thankfully I bought a warranty but I’ve had the couch for 2 months and the reclining chair has broke twice. I’ve had 2 different technicians come out 3 different times. The first guy ordered the wrong part so when the second one showed up a week later after the part arrived the couch couldn’t be fixed, the second tech ordered another part and after waiting another week the tech fixed the couch. 3 days later the couch broke again (same issue). They are giving me the hardest time about replacing the one part of the couch and the next time a tech can come out will be in two weeks. I’ve used Ashley’s furniture to furnish two houses and this is by far the worse experience I’ve had with them. I highly recommended not purchasing any electric couches from them.

Just went through a warranty claim that lasted over a year. Between the extremely poor service of Ashley’s warranty company and the lack of communication between this store and their corporate location, I will never be an Ashley customer again. I would warn anyone to at least never purchase their warranty coverage as the process is not worth the time and stress that you will encounter. The communication between the store, warranty company, and corporate seemed to only happen when I called each one to explain what the other told me, often they would blame each other having me spend hours of time calling, and waiting on hold. In one instance I was told that the store is not able to contact corporate to inquire about my case, yet later on I was told by the same store that they do have a way to do so, so it’s either straight up lying or a lack of understanding of their own company. But for this store location in particular, I was lied to when they told me my credit was at the store when it wasn’t even close to being approved, so I wasted a 30 minute trip driving over there. When calling this store I was put on hold for over 15mins before I decided to hang up, never received a call back. Overall even though my warranty was eventually approved for a credit, it was not worth the stress and wasted time we have endured.

We were considering going with a discount furniture outlet, but we got such a good deal and such awesome help from our salesman (Walt) at the Ashley store that we ended up buying all our stuff from Ashley. It is quality furniture and they really make sure you are well taken care of. Also, not too pushy!

My wife and I just left there. We are thrilled about our nee purchase. We did get the couch that converts into a love seat with the extra drink holders and power hook ups in the middle. It also has storage under both armrests. No automatic button recliner, but it still reclines. Besides we aren't that wealthy or spoiled. Nice furniture store I would definitely recommend stopping by far a look.
The sales team at Ashley work with a purpose. It feels as if they allow you to roam the store for freely for hours, yet they check in on you right when you need them. Shopping at Ashley for the last few months has been pressure free & welcoming.
I got to lay on the mattress to make sure it was right for me. I asked a few questions about the mattress and the foundation to go with it. They informed me of the plan that I could use. The agent Lou was very helpful and concerned. He was very good at getting the job done. I just wish I didn't have to wait three weeks to get it.

Where do I even begin .... Their sales associate we were dealing with was a complete jerk and was kinda rude. We spent a few weekends, visiting different furniture stores, sitting and trying out different pieces of furniture until we found a set we liked. I can't even tell you how much of a pain it has been trying to find furniture that will suit our needs as we have two large dogs and both shed so finding a couch is was like finding a needle in a haystack. When we inquired about this couch... the first issue was they couldn't ship it to Jacksonville but could have it ship somewhere locally and we would just have to pick it up. The second issue was their supposedly "bad tag" made it seemed like we were being pushed to purchase this set as the sales associate we were dealing with was telling us if we leave the store and decide to come back later in the day to get it, they wouldn't honor the price. Mind you, this was $899 each for the loveseat and the sofa, and we just so happened to see that it was marked down to $749 even though it's considered an outlet item. So long story short.. we contacted the Orange Park/Jax store, got with the manager and we were able to get the set for the price of what we saw in Gainesville. I'm happy and I cannot wait until we get our furniture delivered. Just be cautious of this store's customer service. That's all I'm saying.

I've had nothing but issues with this company. A furniture set arrived defective and very wobbly. When the warranty service technician came out, the problems weren't addressed. Even worse, he lied on the service report, by writing that everything is fine while telling me that the furniture is defective and will write in report that he'll write it up for a return and refund. When contacting customer service, they give you the ring around and get different responses depending on who you talk to. They even hang up on you or suddenly place you on a very long hold that disconnects when you are stating your concerns to them. Ashley Furniture is the worst in all regards and treats their customers like garbage. Still no resolution to my issue. PLEASE AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

Whatever you do, do not buy from the Gainesville Ashley furniture store. If you buy from the online store they will price match other online stores for 30 days, the local store will not. The salesman I worked with was great but when I had some questions the store manager was awful. Here's the story Amazon had my couch on sale a few days after I bought it. I called the online number and was told they are not the same as the local brick and mortar store and to call them. I could not get the manager on the phone but the lady in the store told me that they do no price match, but she could not tell me where it says that the local store is different than the online website which says it price matches. I called the online store back and they told me to try and talk to the store manager and that if he would not help then to ask for the regional manager. The local manager never called me back, so I went to the store to discuss with him directly. He also said they would not price match and he also could not reference anywhere that says the price match is for the online web store only. (I eventually found that later myself by the way.) He would not give me his last name and he would not give the regional manager's name. Really? Worst customer service ever. I will never go back to that store. I was trying to support a local business and buy from them instead of online, but they have worse policies than the online store and the differences are buried in the fine print. Only go there to sit on the furniture to try it out but don't buy from them.
Horrible experience. The sales staff were good, yet everything that came after the purchase was a nightmare. Nobody from the warehouse to the call center knew what was going on. Rejected the delivery and went elsewhere. Feel bad because the sales staff at the store location were nice and friendly, yet they are definitely not supported from headquarters to continue the good customer service.

Left us to browse but checked back regularly to make sure we were finding what would work for us. The pricing is competitive and fair. Delivery isn't free so if you can arrange pickup that's probably a good idea. I'm and out in a couple of hours I really actually enjoyed the stress free afternoon.
Brought a bed FRAME over $1k total order almost $9k broke slates and frame broke. Paid $700 for warranty at time of purchase. Have been trying to get repaired/replaced 6 months yes 6 months with a broken king bed. DO NOT GET WARRANTY it is fruad. Furniture use to be solid but seems like nothing more then pdf board now.
Bought a love seat and 2 wing chairs online, one of the wing chairs was missing hardware necessary to attach the legs. Minor, right? Easily correctable you’d think? I contacted Ashley support via chat and was told someone would email me within 5 days to arrange for the hardware. That was 10 days ago. Still have not heard a word. I suppose getting me some screws and washers is very difficult. There are lots of options for buying furniture, Ashley will not be a future choice.

Me and my wife purchased a dresser from here just recently. We paid to have it be put together. Little did we know that it was delivered through fed ex which they failed to communicate with us. Got here and did not put together the dresser which we paid for. Called them back and said they could not refund us for the 70 dollars we paid for to have them put it together. I highly do not recommend this place to purchase furniture. Lazy and sorry people there do not want to help customers out

Update 6/22/23: their responce bellow states contact them they want to help. Here we are and NO RETURN CALLS NO RESPONSE. I'm definitely filing for fruad as unpaid for a service they advertised that I never recieved. Great job Ashley's Brought a $1000 bed frame and $1000 mattress along with living room set total about $8k+. I got the insurance they talked me into. Now in trying to file a claim since Sept 2022. Bed is broken unable to sleep in it for the last 2 months. Furniture use to be of good quality but not anymore just plywood. Whole frame broke on the bed. And protect all is full of it. Anything to not cover my items.

I can't thank you enough for sending Tim from Ashley Home Store in Gainesville to repair my furniture. I am impressed to the fullest with the level of integrity in the work Tim has done for us today. From the time he knocked on the door, my young daughter ran and opened the door and he immediately asked her for an adult even though I had just spoke to him on the phone and we were expecting him, I thought that was very noble of him to not enter the home without seeing an adult present. He was very patient, pleasant, professional and extremely knowledgeable about the mechanical and cosmetic features of the sofa. He tightened up the upholstery that was loose on the sofa from delivery and manufacturing. He paid great attention to detail and was able to detect issues that were concerning me but I wasn't sure how to address it. He took his time to explain what the issues were and how he was going to fix the problem for us. He also shared preventive measures with us to protect our furniture in the future. After realizing all the parts needed were not shipped, he immediately contacted the office and had them ship the items ASAP. I hope that they send him again when our items ship. I wish all technicians were as amazing as Tim.
The Store is lovely and fantastic displays. My sales representative was new and messed up my purchase. I was very disappointed in the way I was dealt with. I hope that the delivery of my purchase goes well.

You'd do best by using online services. Shopping at this store was not pleasant to the least... employee was very rude by insisting that I hurry and make my decision considering only that he was scheduled to be off the clock at the present time... was witnessed by several employees while I can only pray that neither was a manager of any sort since no one stepped in to intervene.. I stepped out of the store to gather my thoughts and after that employee left I did go back to make my purchase! The atmosphere was very dry after the facts but I was determined to buy my daughter a bed... I have the right and privilege to buy nice things as well with the money that I work so hard for, so please be mindful!

Timothy Finnerty was a complete professional and truly took customer service to the next level with his attention to detail and in-depth explanations of what properly delivered furniture should be like. We may have noticed some superficial scratches and such, but he thoroughly inspected the furniture finding internal structural and mechanical imperfections and damage. He elucidated us on every step of the inspection and what would follow next regarding replacing the furniture, new delivery, and a secondary follow-up assessment. His respect for the customers was openly shown in his clear communication style. He takes pride in his work, and it shows in his ethical manner of treating not just his clients but also his coworkers, as displayed when he politely called his base to get us the best arrangement possible. Tim’s excellence in service speaks well for Ashley Furniture.
The furniture technician Tim did an amazing job fixing my chase arm cushion. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly. He took the extra time and effort to make sure the job was done correctly and done to a better standard than it came from the factory.

Tim is the Ashley technician based out of Gainesville store. He is excellent. His knowledge of the furniture (mechanics and carpentry) showed years of experience. Tim is very courteous and explained the technical aspects in a way I could understand. He most certainly went above and beyond to answer every question I had and explained any follow up process needed. He was efficient and timely. Having him as the responding technician really benefited Ashley Home Stores reputation in my eyes. Other stores I’ve purchased from didn’t put a quarter of the effort forward that Tim did in responding to the service call.

Please take your business somewhere else. We bought a sectional and nesting coffee table from the store and Ashley shipped damaged piece on 3 different occasions. 3 different deliveries and damaged EVERY SINGLE TIME. To add to that, when you call the store as a frustrated customer, the store manager has the audacity to just tell the associate to let you know "tell them they should just pick some other furniture". What kind of management even is that where you can't even handle a dispute for something that the company couldn't get right for the 3rd time!! Eventually the manager came on the phone, and when I expressed my frustration to him and told him that it wasn't an individual person'a fault, rather an issue with the company as whole and I don't want to do any more business with them. He then proceeds to tell me, I was rude for saying that and that he does business with me. To the manager, Mr. Scott Dance, we bring business to YOU and will not be returning anymore and please learn to handle pressure and dispute.
Mr. Courtney is a great asset to Ashley. Following a friendly greeting, he gave me space to browse. After a while he checked on me and by then I had decided on the perfect chair. Ashley of Gainesville offered a nice selection. I was very pleased to see the price was lower than I anticipated. The whole process was smooth without pressure. Thank you, Mr. Courtney.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. We've been missing a part since Oct. and almost four months later we are still getting the run around. I just called the store to talk to the store manager Scott and he just put me off to a worker and when I refused to explain the problem for the 100th time and asked her to go get Scott and he can explain, she hung up the phone on me.
Courtenay was extremely helpful and welcoming during my visit to the store. After welcoming me, he immediately offered me something to drink which is beyond your standard level of customer service. Horrible customer service from corporate office. Local store managers have no control of defects of furniture. Ordered furniture (~$10k) and it took eight months to receive and only to find them defective. Since then, it has taken FOUR deliveries of defective furniture. Currently, requested that I send them pix of the defective furniture when I have repeatedly informed them pix will not show the defective finishing on the dresser. My clothes catch onto to the dresser causing snags. In addition to this, reimbursed me only $100 for delivery!!!! Can anyone imagine this? I would return the furniture but gave previous set away. Advise, stay away from this company!!!!
After burying all new furniture for two bedrooms, a living room and dining room, spending over $8,000 in merchandise from Ashely's furniture. There were three items that came that had to be rejected. Coffee table set that had scratches and dents, two 4 drawer chests. The coffee table set was easy and rejected, refunded with no problem. We wanted to keep the chests. After 7 attempts to get the issue fixed I have to wait another day for them to pick up the old dresser and refund us. Our time does not matter to Ashely's. I have no plans of buying anything else with them ever. Sadly to say I had one more room to remodel.

I was looking for a new recliner and since other furniture in my home is Ashley, I went to our local store in Gainesville. After two visits and looking at many chairs, I purchased a Garristown rocker recliner. What I purchased was the shade of light to medium gray color of the upholstery on display in the showroom. I asked my salesman about the color and that was the only color it came in, which was fine with me. When I received the recliner it was a much darker gray almost black. A visitor to my home today confirmed the picture of the recliner in the store is no where near the color of the recliner delivered. (Check pictures). In addition to the color not being what I expected, the delivery men assembled the arms backwards, yes backwards, check pictures. I went back to the Ashley store on the date of delivery 12/15/2022. I requested to speak with the store manager only to be told he was gone for the day. I spoke with a salesman who said he was in charge. I explained my concern of color differences and showed him pictures of the delivered chair in comparison to the showroom chair. He called the manager and was told, “can’t do anything, no returns for buyer’s remorse.” I explained there was no buyers remorse but dissatisfaction on the color and then the armrests being installation backwards. They’re coming in 7 days to fix the armrests but TOO BAD, TOO SAD, about chair color. If I’d wanted an almost black chair, I would have bought one. They’re calling it a “lighting variation” in the showroom versus my home. That is not the case!!!! Word to wise, CAUTION on what your product will be when delivered. They will not change the chair out. This is a formal grievance.

This was our first visit to Ashley Furniture. Prior to this we shopped at two other furniture stores that same day. Upon entering Ashley Furniture, we were warmly greeted by Courtney. He inquired about our need and asked a couple of questions to verify what we were looking for. He then directed us to the appropriate area of the store and let us know that he would be available when we had questions. This information allowed us to leisurely peruse recliners and list several choices needing additional information. Courtney was then available to follow up. We were very comfortable with this shopping experience and readily purchased a nice recliner. We were so impressed with the way Courtney handled our visit, and made it a point to share that information with his boss. Ashley Furniture in Gainesville, Florida is a store we highly recommend and look forward to future visits.
Bought a bed from a very nice and helpful gentleman named Courtenay. He was very professional and made several helpful suggestions. Kudos to him. It's unfortunate that the woman we encountered at the "customer service" counter as we were leaving was so rude (late twenties, heavy-set, long reddish hair). She completely ignored us whilst slapping down documents on the counter that we needed to review and sign. So much for southern hospitality.

SORRY THIS IS SO LONG.Ok here we go. If anyone out there is looking for furniture do Not go to Ashley Furniture in Butler Plaza Gainesville Fl. My mother-in-law went there 2 weeks ago and bought a very expensive adjustable bed and was told the headboard came with it. It was set to deliver 2 days later and be set up so we took her old bed out. When it arrived the delivery crew 3men were there 8 minutes I have the times on camera. They brought in 2 boxes and leaned them against the wall. Said it wasn’t in their paperwork to assemble it.when they left mother in law wasn’t near the door so she didn’t see their mess. She tried to get ahold of the store to get the bed set up but no one would answer. When Cassie and I got home there was dirt in the house at the door. I have pictures lots of dirt. So I tried calling the store no answer. I called Corporate and they put us off as it was a local issue but they were going to contact the delivery warehouse about the dirt we haven’t heard anything since. I talked to another store and was told when you call the store and they ask you if you want to talk to someone about a purchase press 1 it won’t go through for a new purchase press 2 and it would go straight through. I did, it did, and I explained the situation and the lady said the manager was in a meeting. So I explained that was fine and that I was headed that way to deal with it face to face because we ain’t doing this. The manager called right back and remembered my mom-In-law and said it was supposed to be assembled and he would make it happen. He was talking to Cassie said Said he would get with the warehouse about the dirt we’ve heard nothing about the dirt. The next evening a very nice man came and assembled the bed and couldn’t believe the dirt they left behind. The manager also said the headboards did not come with the beds they were only props. As far as I’m concerned Ashley has 1 good employee and he came and assembled the bed.
Go in store and ask for Walt. He was patient, very attentive, and helped us very well. Delivery was phenomenal, quick, on time, and courteous. In-Store is +5 stars. DO NOT BUY ONLINE. The delivery and experience of my in-store purchase was completely different than my online purchase. First, delivery came earlier than the scheduled time. about 45 minutes early. Dispatch called me to ask where I was... and I was instantly confused. I had talked to customer care and my delivery was scheduled from 930 - 1130am. They arrived around 845am. My items were delivered and left without the plastic being removed. When you sign for a delivery, you are signing stating that you inspected your delivery, it is not defective and what you ordered. After they left... suddenly and without saying they were done... I realized that a piece was missing. I called dispatch and they stated that delivery does not remove the plastic... yet when I ordered in store, they did. I paid nothing extra for that. Dispatch was adamant in repeating that I was "wrong." I called customer service. They put me on hold to talk to dispatch. (?) Customer service agreed with me that they are supposed to remove the plastic and they do not assemble anything. None of my items needed assembly, which is why I didn't pay for it. Customer service did not offer any resolution. They were able to ask dispatch where my 3rd piece was, to be told it would be delivered on the following Saturday. (?) I was not informed of this. I was a real Charlie Foxtrot. Next, I find that I was charged TWICE. Fantastic. DO NOT BUY ONLINE. They charged the Ashley Credit as well as the card I entered. I applied for the credit, but declined it due to the insanely high interest rate. This time, customer service was very rude, interrupting me and saying things like "I can't read your mind." My question was simple. She was not able to understand that I had been charged twice. When she asked for my card number, I told her I didn't have an Ashley card, I didn't choose to use it. She asked me which bank it was from... (?) how would I know? I didn't use the card or have it or have any record of it. That's what I needed to call customer service about.
I purchased a bedroom set from Ashley furniture which was delivered on August 13th. I made the mistake of signing for the furniture before examining it. I am mediately noticed damage to the pieces but the delivery guys were long gone. I called Ashley help center right away and inquired about a return because of the damaged products and poor quality. They told me we had 72 hours to return but had to send a tech out to examine the furniture before moving forward. The tech was not available for two weeks. When he finally came we told him we wanted to return but the warranty department would have to call us. The warranty department said they cannot do returns. We were turned back to the main office who then said they would not allow us to return because we were not in the initial 72 hour window!!!!!!!! They are purposefully giving us a runaround and not allowing us to return damaged poor quality items 🤬 In the pictures you can see where the drawers do not meet up, there is a large gap and they hang out of the dresser. They used the wrong screws for the track on the other dresser and it is falling off. The support structure under the bed does not touch the floor and makes the bed super wiggly. Finally, there is a crack in the wood at the base of the bed.

I needed a specific type of chair for my mom asap, and Tracy at this location was very helpful with making sure I had the options available for chairs in stock. The showroom was very nice, and I called him back to order. The whole process was very simple, and the salesman was very helpful and friendly.
Pretty decent selection of basic furniture that isn't as cheap looking as the competitors in Gainesville... however Gainesville has hardly any competitors for just general furniture stores. They had delivery for my dresser available within just a few days, which is awesome because most places were saying it could be 20 weeks for delivery on any items that weren't immediately available in the store.

EDIT: AND THE STORY KEEPS GETTING WORSE. PART 1: July 25th Ashley Homestores as a corporate whole is a hot mess that will NOT fix the problems they cause. We bought a couch July 4 weekend, and had a delivery originally scheduled for July 18. They called a week in advance, and said they had to delay due to shipping issues; fine, no problem, schedule for July 25th instead. So obviously since this is a workweek, we have to make sure someone is home due to work schedules and class schedules. Requires some finangling, but all good. Ashley requires old furniture be removed before they deliver cause they won’t deal with it, which is fine, so we get rid of our old couch the night of July 24. 9:30 a.m. July 25, the delivery team shows up. We have three parts of furniture in this order. The delivery team said one part of the three would not fit, and refused to try to get the furniture through the door due to concerns regarding potential damage. My fiancee and I can see how to get the couch through the door, so we try to explain how; delivery team refuses due to liability. (We can show with a measuring tape how to do so). Fine. We ask they drop off the pieces that fit and leave the piece that doesn’t fit on the sidewalk as a threshold delivery. This is a normal type of delivery Ashley OFFERS, we just paid extra for premium. Delivery team refused and drove off with the entire delivery, so NO pieces get delivered. We call customer support to reschedule and explain that, while we appreciate the delivery team’s caution and understand why they wouldnt want to be responsible, but can we change to a threshhold delivery instead so they just drop the item off on the sidewalk and we can handle getting it in? So, you know, THE EXACT REQUEST WE MADE OF THE DELIVERY TEAM. The first customer service person I spoke to was WONDERFUL; she agreed, swapped us to a threshhold delivery, and said we’d be refunded the $200 premium delivery charge. She also confirms that if we’re wrong and can’t get the order through ourselves, we can still return the piece. Thank god. Then she transfers us to someone for scheduling. Scheduling is where this process gets agonizing. It’s like pulling teeth. The first call takes over an hour; theyre refusing to just bring the couch that was JUST HERE back, and insist we need to change entire days. They try offering weekdays; those are workdays, we cannot reschedule AGAIN for a workday. All of the work days they offer do not have a workable time for us due to conflicting work schedules. They try calling the delivery team to get them back out, claim they can’t reach them, and offer Sunday — so, a whole week with no couch due to their “have furniture removed before we geg there” policy. Sunday also means we have to cancel out of town plans. We’re stuck accepting. I try calling one more time to reiterate, AGAIN, that its Ashley Homestore who CAUSED this problem, you ALREADY HAD THE COUCH HERE, please just drop it on our sidewalk and leave it here. They refuse due to “process.” “Process” is a TERRIBLE reason to not fix a problem you caused. YOU control the process in this scenario, so update it to accommodate your issues. So now our entire delivery is two weeks late instead of just one, we’re stuck with the inconvenience of no couch for an entire week AND the inconvenience of cancelling travel plans (we need the couch before a graduation party we’re hosting; so calling out of work or cancelling travel plans IS the only other option), and Ashley Homestore could not care less about fixing it. Awful store, don’t recommend dealing with them. PART 2: July 30 And apparently, the terrible customer service just keeps getting worse. Your store has now explicitly informed me your team has LIED. You can check your phone records to hear that somehow your customer service team’s best excuse is to explicitly call your company a liar. We had a shitshow of a delivery attempt on Monday. After accepting rescheduling for tomorrow, Sunday, July 31, both the CORPORATE TEAM and the IN-STORE team confirmed we had a delivery scheduled for July 31. I called today to ask when our delivery window for tomorrow is. Somehow, your company decided to NOT SCHEDULE THE DELIVERY FOR TOMORROW AS PROMISED. And, to top it all off, you somehow sold the ottoman we already bought and had scheduled for delivery, so now you're claiming it is "out of stock." So somehow you just decided you don't have to deliver when promised, that you didn't have to WARN ME (I had to cancel TRAVEL PLANS based on your team lying???) and that you could just SELL THE ITEM I'VE ALREADY BOUGHT. I can understand if your company made a mistake. I just want your company to OWN UP TO YOUR MISTAKE AND FIX IT. At minimum, you need to deliver the part of the couch that is in stock by the agreed upon date, July 31st. Your team is insisting that you cannot complete a partial delivery due to policy. That's a lie; you CAN you're just REFUSING TO. You made an arbitrary rule that you won't make partial deliveries; you don't get to hide behind it as an excuse to not deliver when that's what's REQUIRED to fix YOUR MISTAKE. Your corporate team is unhelpful. The in-store team reached out to the corporate team to assist and provided me a case number. Now your corporate team has explicitly informed me that "the in-store team is lying and there's no case number" and the "person who promised a delivery scheduled on July 31 lied too." How do you care so little about customer service that your corporate team's best answer is "well our employees openly lied to you and we don't care and we won't fix it." The corporate team member accusing people of lying is accurate, at least. SOMEONE at Ashley Homestores is. Fix. Your. Problems.
My sister paid in full (3,000) for a table and chairs. They gave her an expected day for delivery, then they cancelled and gave her another day when they brought her a used table and the wrong chairs. She called and they returned her delivery fees and gave her another delivery day 6 days away, which was today, when they brought her the chairs and NO TABLE. She is now on her way to get a full refund. Definitely would not buy from them ever again!
The purchase was great, fairly quick and the service was great. That was when the problems began. We made our purchase on the 28th of May, and was told our purchase would be in on 6/26 and delivered a couple of days later. When we tried to call, we got nowhere. The automated phone line could not find our purchase either by order number or phone number. I tried going online and it also could not find my purchase. I finally got to talk to a person by calling the store to make a purchase on July 1. The girl said our purchase was in the warehouse and would be delivered on the 7th at the earliest. To say the least I am not happy about this. If I had known the after sales service was going to be this bad, I would not have made my purchase at Ashley.
Jordan my sales associate was phenomenal! I walked into the store, told him what I was looking for and my budget and he was able to help me find the perfect furniture for my new place! Definitely will be going back if/when I need to get additional pieces.

If you want to wait for forever for your furniture and be told a thousand different excuses for why it's late, then this is your place!!! when I say late, I don't mean weeks, I don't mean even a month, try 6 months late and we still can't be given a for sure time or date for when our furniture will arrive. This is so sad!!! The management at this location told me they can't even get ahold of the regional or district manager by phone, they told me " we do everything by microsoft teams and email". I've been given the run around for literally almost 6 months as of now, still another 2 months until my furniture arrives. I was told it would be here in march.....not September. literally buy your furniture anywhere else, I will in the future. lesson learned, now I'll be lucky to ever see my stuff.

Rod, our sales associate was amazing. He provided excellent service. I picked a beautiful living room set. It was delivered and I tried to love it for 2 days, but I could not get comfortable. I returned to the store and Rod said I should try to find something that would better suit my needs. I sat on every piece of living room furniture in the store. I finally settled on a set that was nothing like I thought I wanted, not as beautiful as the first set, but so very comfortable. Rod facilitated the return of the first set and the delivery of the new set. We liked the new couch and recliner so much, we bought 2 more recliners to complete the room. If you have the chance to work with Rod, you will not be disappointed.

If I could give them a Zero I would. We ordered a $1,900 couch, and was told after purchace that we could not pick it up in the store. Since we do not live in Gainesville, we had to wait a month to get the sofa delivered. My wife had to take a day off without pay to recieve the sofa. The truck arrived on Saturday around 11:15 on Saturday, and they had loaded the sofa in the back of the truck, so the driver asked if he could make one stop to unload some of the furniture which was most of the load, he stated "it would take about 2 hours". At 2 PM I looked on there website for tracking and it stated that it had been delivered. I then called corpotate, was on hold for an hour and they hung up. At 5 PM corporate called me and asked if it was OK to send it the next day before 2? I said it was. The online tracking stated that is was on the way at 10 AM and sould be there by 2: at 2:05 started a text message with corporate and they said that it sould be there by 4, and to be patient. At 4, I called the store in which I bought the sofa from, they said in the computer that it is on the way, but they would call to confirm. At 4:30 I called the store back, after being on hold for 15 mintues, they stated that it was never on the Truck to begin with. So i waisted 2 entiire days waiting for something that they should have the otion to pick up at the store. I then asked for my money back. I do not know if I will get it or not, but i never recieved the sofa. I realize that Ashley does not care about there customer after the sale is made.

Great experience with Colton Pettway Colton went out of his way to make a special sale happen for me for a couch and loveseat. He initially helped me over the phone and then I met him at the Gainesville store where he showed me around-but gave me my space. (much appreciated) Since I am over an hour from Gainesville and didn't want to make another trip he worked again with me via texting and we got the sale done. Went in looking for a bed frame for my guest room & unfortunately couldn’t find one I liked that was both in my price range & on hand at the store. I also needed a couch, but didn’t have to have it same day. Sam assisted me & showed me a few options, which ultimately lead to me purchasing one. He was low pressure & knowledgeable. Will be returning to purchase the remainder of the living room set soon.
Waiting 7 months for furniture, they send texts and emails for delivery, then cancel my order with no notice while I'm waiting at home for delivery. Then no one can explain what happened or where my furniture is and when it might get delivered. Horrible customer service!
Went to the store shortly before closing and was greeted by Brittney B. I gave her a print out of several couches from the website that I was interested in. She was very pleasant and quickly looked up each one for us. We looked at some that were also in the store and decided upon one of those from the online list. We were checked out and delivery was shut up everyone there was more than happy to help despite the late hour. at this time I am still waiting for delivery so I can’t say beyond that at the customer service experience was very pleasant and above par for today’s standards in just about anything! I bought a bedroom and living room set from Ashley's, it was a good price and I paid for white glove assembly. The furniture was delivered but he was alone that day so he put the matrice on the floor and furniture in the apartment but did not assemble any of this which made it useless. I did call my Visa Card carryer and they only released a partial payment until I had the assembly complete. I called customer service and went to the store several times and finally after sleeping 3 months on an air mattress they did come back and assemble the furniture. When I went to pay my remaining balance I found they had turned it over to a collection agency. I have still been unable to find out how to pay my bill. Just saying be careful of the Gainesville Ashleys, I don't know if its a one store problem but buyer beware!

We ordered over $10,000 worth of furniture almost a year ago now and still haven’t seen ONE piece of it!! Every time we call we are given a different devliery date and reason for the delays. Corporate has done absolutely nothing to help and going into the local store was the exact same outcome. Twice we have changed plans to be home on delivery days just to have them not show up and not deliver any of our furniture! This has been the worst experience! DO NOT buy from them!!
Ordered a mattress online from Ashley's & let me tell you, what a Nightmare!First of all, they send it to the wrong address, so I had them send another. Then I had to open it up (bc it came in a box ) & cut the plastic to see if the bed was firm enough. It wasn't. So I asked for a refund. They said I had to return the bed in the box & take the opened one to a donation center, get a donation receipt, take a pic, & email it to them. So, I borrowed a truck, drove an hour away, donated it. & had ups pick the boxed one up. I sent Ashley's a pic of the donation receipt. & waited the 7-10 business days for the refund. Still NO refund. They tell me they have to get the boxed mattress checked in at their warehouse before they can refund me. & wait another 7-10 days. A Complete nightmare of a process. I will NEVER order from them ever again. Absolutely terrible customer service & return policies. & their "firm" beds aren't firm.

I only wanted to buy a throw pillow. While the employees were very helpful and attentive, the procedure to “checkout” was so involved it took 10 mins to get all the paperwork and forms signed. It was a pillow! This situation needs to be simpler and more streamlined.

I purchased a sectional sofa with a chase lounge from Ashley‘s home furniture in the beginning of December. They have now officially tried to deliver my sofa twice and each time it has been two separate colors. The store sold me a brown half and a gray half. Multiple times have I taken time out of my day to physically go up to the store solve this issue and reschedule. The first time the store blame the warehouse, the second time the warehouse blame the store. And researching it turns out the store did in fact sell me two different item numbers causing the issue. I have yet again for the third time had to schedule my delivery but Again I physically had to take time out of my day to go up to the store to confirm my delivery, the store has tried to accommodate but they still cannot confirm a specific time for delivery which is extremely frustrating since I have waited home twice for my sofa and now it is the day before I need it for my family event for the holidays and I have a group of 20 people with only half a sofa that’s three people at my house because they can’t correctly deliver the other half in the correct color.

Everything was going great until we had a problem. Mattress foundation is too tall which made my bed almost impossible to get in. I’ve asked to swap to a lower foundation and was denied the possibility. Metal frame no cloth no worry for sanitary issues but they don’t care. Now I have a Mt Everest for a bed.
We will NEVER EVER purchase from Ashley Home Store again. We had never done business with them prior to now. We selected and paid in full, cash, for a king bedroom set on August 23, 2021, with an estimated delivery time of mid November at the latest so we agreed to those terms and conditions for delivery trying to be understanding & reasonable due to Covid and related issues yet not our desired time frame, however, we accepted. Well…We were totally mislead, bamboozled you might say. We would have never done business with this company nor accepted those conditions, had we known this would result in such a dilemma. Now we have been rescheduled from November 22, to December 12, to January 21, 2022. Are you really kidding me!? This is totally unacceptable. Every time we call the local store here in Gainesville for assistance, the call goes straight to their National call center. We are VERY DISSATISFIED WITH ASHLEY HOME STORE. We no longer have our old bedroom set so now our mattresses are sitting flat on the floor because Ashley’s did not keep their commitment and deliver as promised and don’t plan to deliver until next year. This is really bad business & terrible customer care. Do not get trapped with this misleading & mistrusted company, a total run around. We would never recommend them to anyone even if they were giving the furniture away for free!!! They get one star only because zero is not an option.

I recently purchased a bed from the Gainesville store, I was told it would be delivered November 9th. Since then it has been rescheduled 5 times because of the bed rails not being in stock, understandable I suppose. However we were told three times that the delivery would now be on the 23rd of November, finally, so I moved everything around and am told now that it won't be delivered until the 28th. They said that it's delayed this time because of the mattress when the other times it was delayed due to bed rails, it seems there's either a lot of miscommunication or nobody actually knows what's going on. I'm just tired of being disappointed and looking forward to it coming just to be told it's rescheduled again.
Ashley HomeStore had what I was looking for. I received lots of information about recliners and manual tabs. I found, with the help of Tracy, a plush, comfy, chair and a half with a pull tab. This chair is on sale, and has a sofa and love seat to match. I was very happy with the professionalism of Tracy and his help finding exactly what I was looking for. For the younger set, they have a program for $100+ (?) that you can get a warranty on your furniture, which I think is a good deal. I don't usually like warranties or get them, but I think this is a good one. Very happy with Ashley and Tracy. 22NOV2021 18JAN2022 The oversize chair I purchased has not turned out to be what I expected. I was told that the chair would be firm but get softer with use. It is still very firm and hard, not comfy at all. I can feel hard, firm pieces of metal throughout the seating. The chair in the store was comfy and broken in I guess. I am 5'1" and over time, the leg lift part is aggravatingly too short. My short legs are longer than the bottom length, and my ankles and feet hang over the end making me uncomfortable. I should have paid more attention to this chair length when reclining, before purchasing. The material sheds onto my clothes. As the chair is grey the shedding is very prominent on my darker color clothes. I wonder if eventually there will be bare spots where the material has shedded? I am not happy with this chair. I thought a chair that was $839.00, on sale, $119.99 delivery fee, $67.13, tax, $1,026.12 total, would have been better quality. I am very dissatisfied with this chair. I have purchased other Ashley items that were okay. I wonder if things made during covid are the reason for the poorer quality? I am happy with all the help I received at Ashley's. It is the chair that is inferiorly made, with the low quality fabric that is the problem. No fault of the people in the store. They can only sell what they have.
NEVER do business with this company! Placed an order over a month ago and had followed up 3 separate times to confirm and inquire on delivery of my table. Had a confirmation call, text and email of delivery to then find out I get to wait 2 more months for my product. Every call ends with a ‘well I will send a request’ or ‘send a message’ and zero attempt to resolve or assist. Never have I encountered such a large company with such a huge lack of communication and customer care.

We bought 3 pieces of furniture on Oct 4th and set up delivery date of Nov 11th. On Nov 2nd we received an email informing us that 2 pieces where on back order with one to deliver in December and the other in January. We then contacted our local store in Gainesville and Office Manager Britney said she would check into it explaining that due to COVID and delays on merchandise delivery to their warehouses, inventory is a bit slow. The very next day Nov 3rd we received a call from the delivery company informing us that all three pieces of furniture would be delivered on Friday Nov 5th. So Thanks to Britney not only did we get all three pieces in perfect condition but we also got them a week earlier than scheduled. Awesome customer service. THANK YOU BRITNEY!!!

Try to get a refund in a timely way.Ordered a table 7/3/21. my cc charged 7/5. told not arriving till February 2022. 10/30 cancelled by phone to their corporate 800 number, (never was able to reach the store after 2 days of trying), I never received cancellation confirm. Called the store early in the week. Was told the order was officially cancelled "today" Saturday the 6th. so 7 to 10 business days to get the refund processed from today, not 7 to 10 from when I was first told the order was cancelled. They are quick to take money, stupidly slow to process refunds. I need more furniture. Will shop elsewhere. 1 star for this review about to hit social media! VERY unhappy.

Seriously have never had a worse experience purchasing furniture. Issue 1: We ordered a sectional and when delivery day came the only delivered two pieces of it. When we called to ask where the rest was, they said it would be over another month before we could have the rest delivered. We tried to cancel our order for a refund and they told us we could not since they already delivered part of the order. So after spending several hours on the phone, we were finally told we would receive a 10% discount. We never got the discount despite several calls to the store and corporate who both point the finger at one another. Bought dining chairs in store only to find they were broken when we get them home. They have a repair person come out and he said he would order new parts to fix them and they should be there next month. Fast forward two months with no parts and after an hour on the phone we get told we will have to wait 2 more months before we get our parts. You can neither depend on ordering products to be delivered or buying products they have on hand. Further, once they have secured a sale, their customer service goes out the window.

Great, quick service. Only reason it's 4 stars is because the delivery guys didn't follow instructions (I asked them to come in the back set of double doors instead of the front single door), knocked over a few things in the process, and didn't fix them before they left.

Bought a matching set from them they sold me a warranty the way they sell it is if any item is damaged and if it has been discontinued they will replace the whole set no matter what!!! (false advertisement) because this is not true the warranty company says it’s in the terms and conditions that they only replace the whole set if it’s a sectional NOT A SET!!! Go in after multiple phone calls to the warranty company talk to the sales manager and he assures us that they were supposed to replace the whole entire set no matter what if it’s a sectional or a set. Three weeks go by back-and-forth phone calls and text messages with the managers they tell us there’s nothing they can do it’s a GBS issue even though this is how they sell the warranty. ”And the sales manager suggested that we file a claim with the Better Business Bureau” What!!!

I will never recommend or shop at Ashley Furniture again. Let me start by saying that my salesperson was excellent and none of this is his fault. I bought a full size mattress and box spring and a queen size mattress and low profile box spring. When they delivered them they were placed up against the wall because they charge extra to place it on the bed! Anyway, a few days later when I had help to set them up we discovered that the queen box spring was actually a full size. I immediately called and told them about the error. They assured me that it would get taken care of ASAP. My replacement was scheduled for last Friday and they never showed up. When I called I was told that my delivery was canceled by corporate?? So, it was rescheduled for today. The delivery people came with the correct box spring but would not take the incorrect one away as I was told they would. FYI, it’s still in the plastic. No one created a ticket for it. So after 47 minutes on the phone my issue is still not resolved. In addition I now have to get help with this new box spring, last Friday when they were supposed to come I had help. My order date was 9/9, today is the 24th. Seriously, why is this so hard for them to get this right? Now they say they will call me back in 24 -48 hours. This is just not acceptable and the box spring is about to go in the dumpster.

The second trip we made to actually purchase furniture, we were helped by the sales rep Tracy, who was also very kind and warm to us. There was NO pressure to purchase anything which was appreciated as we like to think through things first. Would use them for any future needs.

I found that our new couch had an optional ottoman on the Ashley website. I drove to the store to see it in person. I was greeted immediately, walked to the display model, given some time by the Ashley associate who helped me find it, and purchased it then and there. Caveats of why this is not a 5 star experience (3.5 is more fair of what it was): 1. I had to ask for the online sale price despite Labor Day sales in store, none were offered. 2. My $246 ottoman down from $349 in store would have been $60 to ship. Site to store free shipping is not offered. It wasn’t until I told him I’d speak with my husband did he offer another option of ship to the house unassembled for free. 3. I’m buying a simple ottoman. The loads and loads of paper despite electronic signature for payment were ridiculous. I’ve signed less documents for life events. I got the impression that I should sign without reading the documents as he would scroll on the iPad to the signature line as opposed to saying this is the Terms and Conditions page, read if you’d like, then sign. I went to the store to see the ottoman. I know that sales are commission based. I could have bought online straight from the retailer. I would have just expected a better in-person sales experience overall and don’t know that I’d be buying again from here anytime soon if I needed more furniture.

One of the best places to buy furniture if you care about quality and durability. The attendants are courteous however the prices are not labeled on most of the items and that could make shopping frustrating.
The people that work in the store, in this location "Gainesville " Florida, Are very professional the furniture is Excellent, but I will say this don't purchase the extended warranty, the reclining sofa that i purchase got damaged and the contract says that they would replace it, But is been 3 months of back and forth 🙄, trying for the extended warranty that I purchase over $350.00 hundred and they are not helping me att all, the the secretary att the store have help me trying for them to replace it ,but not even her is able to get answers from the warranty department, 5 years is what they promise to replace for anything that happens to the furniture, and I spend more than $8,000 in furniture, so my suggestion is don't purchase any warranty..

Okay we were told by James that we had 30 days to decide if we were happy with our purchase. Turns out this is not the truth , once the truck leaves you can not return the item which I do NOT like. Who can sit on a couch or chair and so oh this will be good to watch a movie in! You have no idea until you sit and watch a movie.. well with Ashley’s return policy (or lack of one) you are stuck with it if you do not like it. And it doesn’t matter if the salesman lied to you they have no interest in making it right their response is ‘I’m sorry’. Well I’m sorry that doesn’t do me any good… However, I can assure that I will need to make other purchases for my home .. lots of them.. and I know where I will NOT be buying them from 😊👍🏻

This weekend, I went with my sister over to Ashley's Furniture in Gainvesille, FL mainly to look at beds and headboards (and dining room tables as a secondary goal). From the moment we stepped into the store, everyone was very welcoming and friendly (starting with the person at the front). The two people we worked closely with are Jordan Smith and Samuel. Those two specialists are very eager, hilarious, and helpful, and they made the experience a fun event (which I not been expecting). Apart from headboards and beds, Jordan and Samuel insisted we checked out other products, and they were so engaging that it was hard to say no :-). They went all out to make sure they could get us the BEST price possible. They gave advice about everything they showed us (along with a dose of humor), and it was great working with people who were knowledgeable about what they were selling and who enjoyed their job. My sister left for lunch and to run some errands (and to consider whether to make the purchase) and although we were exhausted by evening, the rapport we had built up with Jordan and Samuel made us return to the store to finalize the purchase. We ended up buying the headboard, bed, dining room tables and chairs, a dresser, and two bedside tables. The Jordan-Samuel Duo was empathic about making sure we were getting exactly what we wanted and that we were happy about our decision. I am excited about the purchase and looking forward to post-delivery experience.
Furniture looked nice but significant breakdown in internal communication. We were told 3 of our 4 items were in stock to be delivered 8/13. On 8/12 we got a text that the shipment would not go until 8/17. We got a text on 8/13 around 5PM saying the delivery would happen by 7PM on 8/13. We called and were told that they were hoping the items would be in stock for the 8/17 delivery. Seems nobody there knows what is happening. they blame covid and broken supply line. If not available on 8/17, we may ask for our money back. and find other furniture actually in stock elsewhere.

I ordered furniture at the end of June and was given a date in July that it would be delivered. The day before delivery I had not heard anything so I called. After a nightmare of computer routing and holds, I was told that two of my items were at the warehouse but they were not going to delivered because the couch was not ready yet. I insisted on a partial delivery as I had just gotten rid of my old living room set, and they were not going to comply. I told them to cancel the entire transaction at which point they managed to get the partial delivery scheduled. I have now had four reschedules on the delivery of my couch with nothing but automated texts. It is August and I am still waiting while they make excuses. I will never do business with Ashley HomeStore again. Also the salesman talked me into upgrading the recliner I liked to electric saying it would feel the same... It does not feel the same and is not comfortable.

I return to Ashley HomeStore in Gainesville time and again. The furniture is stylish and well made, and I am always treated like family. Courtenay Gillard is the best. He is knowledgeable and always friendly.
Very disappointed in this company and their customer service. They delivered a TV stand that was built wrong with dings and scratches. Paying 600 dollars means I should get a piece that is not dinged before it enters my house. I was told by the delivery man that they had plenty in the warehouse I would get a new one by early the following week. When I spoke to a customer service rep I was told they had no ETA on when we would get the new one, so I asked for a manger to call me. 72 hours goes by and no one has bothered to reach out. I had to call again to be told it would be 3 weeks before they could right their wrong. I finally got to a manager who did fix the delivery time to this week and said it was labeled VIP, so it wouldn't have scratches/dings and would be checked for correctness on build. I might update stars to 2 if it comes like I'm being told it should. However, this is the last piece of furniture I will buy from them, since this is the 2nd time we have had issues with broken furniture being delivered.
I have purchased from this store twice in the last couple of years. Both times have been a horrible experience. Items are not delivered on time, they arrive scratched/dented/not in working order. They refuse to replace them and only allow "repairs". Most recently, they delivered a tv stand that was not assembled correctly and the driver stated that they have to take it back to the warehouse to rebuild it correctly, since he didn't have the correct tools. The shelves have to be installed before the frame is finished. The front was also scratched up from when the builder put on the doors. Their customer service on the phone is terrible. They will tell the customer that everything was fine with the item when it left the store (blaming the driver) and it takes them weeks to replace an item. They are extremely hostile on the phone and refuse to accept any responsibility. I will never shop here again. Save yourself the time and trouble and go to another store.
My experience was the best I have ever had in purchasing some furniture. Tracy had met my son and I right when we walked in. He showed us where we needed to go in the store and let us find what we needed. Tracy was very helpful, polite and very knowledgeable on our choice. He gave us a great deal. We had one hiccup with the mattress we originally order was back ordered for our delivery window, but ROD and MICHELLE made sure we got another one and got it on the delivery truck, all in a 10 minute window given by the warehouse!! Awesome prices and beautiful furniture, but the employees are what make the store!!!

This company has a nice showroom but terrible customer service. I bought a bed and mattress here, and planned to purchase a chest of drawers, home office desk, and an end table. They delivered the bed and mattress on their last stop. They did not explain their return policy (there are no returns once delivered, even as I called them the same day saying the product was not good), and they keep you waiting on the phone for a long time without any resolution. I've called days in a row trying to reach their "corporate returns unit" as I was asked to do, in an effort to get a replacement, even offering to pay the difference. But, they haven't been helpful, nor do they seem to care about customer service. I'll never shop here again.

I purchased a sectional and two recliners from Ashley less than a year ago (August 2020). It took a very long time to have the furniture delivered but I figured it was the result of Covid. The cushions do not stay in place on the sectional. I am constantly having to push the cushions back into place before sitting. One of the recliners has a seam that is coming apart. This is not a chair that is used often either. It is frustrating to have furniture that is not even paid off and it already needs to be replaced. I have read very few positive reviews. I hope Ashley can resolve this matter and change my mind.
This is a lovely set (Teaganville). Truly. But its simply too big. And we would love to buy something more reasonably sized to fit into our bedroom. The problem is simply this: Ashley will not take anything back once its been delivered. So if you do your very best to measure carefully, and think it will fit, and heaven forbid you get it wrong or mis-calculate, or something else is delivered and you can't make the Ashely piece work - YOU ARE STUCK WITH IT. I have called and called - and customer care-less will simply not budge. I signed for it, our bed came in, this piece is too large, we'd like to buy something else... NOPE. We are stuck with this item, sitting covered in our garage. Never in my life have I been treated like this after spending many thousands of dollars at a store. Do not fall for the Ashley scam - Buy your items ONE PIECE AT A TIME - because if you buy the set, and you have to return something, you are absolutely stuck with it. Unreal.
My family and I went to Ashley’s Furniture to look at new couches. I didn’t know that once we stepped foot in the door, we’d be buying a new set. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by such nice folks and they even gave us the space we needed to look around. Without coming up to us every minute and hounding us. I cannot remember the gentleman’s name who helped us when we were ready to purchased our couch but we was wonderful. I will purchase from Ashley Furniture again.

This experience was a 1 star and went to a 5+ experience. My husband and I went to Ashley in Jan 2021 bought couch and loveseat and was told it was on back order and we would have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for it. No problem, until warehouse started pushing back our delivery date and now it was April and still no furniture. I immediately contact Sales Mgr John and notified him that I was on my way to get my refund. John was extremely confused and couldn't understand why...I explained that we still hadn't received our furniture. John was SHOCKED! Before I arrived to the store, John and Brittany his office mgr. were able to research what was going on. They could see my furniture in the system at the warehouse. They were both apologetic and empathetic to my experience. Brittany - made phone calls and confirmed that I could have my furniture in less than 5 days and she promised, to communicate on their behalf via call and text when they were in route. John provided a discount for my terrible experience and my husband and I gave them a chance. I received my furniture as promised and they complied with all they promised! I finally received it March 21st. This is Customer Service at It's BEST! We Loved working with them as they really owned and corrected the experience. THANKS John and Brittany! Warehouse is TERRIBLE and Ashley Customer Care Line is HORRIBLE! Our Local Ashley Staff is AMAZING!!! Thanks again for making a 1 Star convert to a 5+ Star!

Bought furniture 9 months ago and broken already. Techs came to the house April 8th. Parts need to be ordered a week maybe 2. Didn't hear back trying calling several times hung up after 30, then 45and hung up on once. Also tried the online version. Basically put on hold there also with no response. Went into the store only to be told 3 more weeks. May 13 when the parts SHOULD arrive then have to schedule another tech🤬😩😩

I ordered furniture on January 24th and was told it would be delivered by Mid March. I started calling the first week of March (both the Gainesville store and Corporate) because I had not hear anything. To my surprise my furniture was back ordered until June; and no one had called to let me know. I went in to the store and was told by the manager that there was nothing he could do. I ended up picking different furniture (again not our first choice) but we were willing to settle for expedited delivery. The furniture was delivered on April 10th and of the entire furniture suite we purchase (king bed, two nightstands, a dresser and two accent chairs) only two of the pieces were not damaged. The movers could not assemble the bed or one of the nightstands. Additionally one of the accent chairs was damaged along with a dresser drawer that doesn’t fully close. They said they would file a claim and have a technician come out on the 11th to assemble bed and repair the nightstand and address the chair. On the 11th I called the store only to be told the movers were a third party and they did not know what the process was. They said we should have not accepted delivery and I would have to contact corporate. Again the store blaming corporate as the bad guys and burdensome process. We were able to schedule a technician for April 17th. If I wanted anything quicker I would have to deal with corporate. I spent a good amount of money buying the furniture and paid an extra $500 to have in assembled and have had nothing but problems. Every time I did I would always get the same answer from the store, “it is corporate and corporate’s process.” Corporate does not return calls even after you experience extended wait times. This has been the worst experience I have had buying furniture. Ashley’s may have nice furniture but the customer satisfaction is poorly managed. And once the furniture is purchased the customer is made to deal with a non-responsive corporate office. BUYER BE WARE. Had I know how difficult this would be I would definitely gone elsewhere.

My experience was a 5 star that went to a 1 star. The first impression was great since we were just looking at prices and options but once we decided to buy it was one bad thing after the other. First we were told about a card that would help build credit but it wasn't done properly so it didn't work as intended, then they gave me a window for delivery and they kept changing it until I went to the store and ask about it and finally after just 20 days of having the bed at home it broke. So I called and they send a tech but give a 4 hours window so you have to wait for them all morning or afternoon because you don't know when the will arrive.

Recently my family bought new furniture from the Ashley's store in Gainesville. We spent about $3K on a couch and two recliners. The salesman, Walter, convinced us that we didn't need to pay for "premium" delivery to save a little money. His reasoning was that the only difference was if you purchased premium delivery, they put the furniture together for you. When the furniture was delivered, it was delivered by people who contracted with Ashley's to deliver furniture and it was just dropped off with no opportunity to inspect it. After unboxing the furniture we found both pieces were damaged. After we called Ashley's back we were told that we owned the furniture now and they would have to send someone out to "fix it". There was no option to just send us new furniture or get a refund. It took 2 weeks to get someone to look at the furniture, 3 weeks to get the parts in, and now we're waiting another 2-3 weeks to schedule someone to come out and fix it. Frustrated with what I thought was very poor, if not deceptive, service I went to the store to speak to the store manager (Scott or Steve, can't remember his name). The manager was unhelpful and uncaring at best, all he did was refer me to Ashely's corporate offices. When you call the corporate offices you're placed on hold until you've spent 10-15 minutes on hold and then dumped into a voicemail. Don't buy furniture from Ashley's. The ruse they've created is designed to lock you into whatever you've purchased no matter how it's delivered to you and no matter what condition it's in when it gets to you. They're deceptive about their practices and their customer services, if not out right liars.
Ordered a dining set, long extension dining table with 8 chairs along with a side board/accent cabinet. Will have to say they were willing to deliver much earlier than anticipated but we had not completed the closing on our house so they moved my delivery date to following month which we were ok with. Upon delivery once everything was put together the delivery guy asked me to look over everything to make sure it was right and immediately noticed they had brought me a long counter table/bar. The delivery guys were really nice about it and immediately called the warehouse and got things straightened out for me. Needless to say now I have to wait 3 more weeks to get my table. Hopefully it will be the right one...🤞
I was amazed how expensive the future was. I would say the store was not to my liking. But, judge for yourself. We went back here to look at the sales, well they were good. But, I just want to know does the , like bed frame last?
I bought a dining table, it arrived with a manufacturing defect, the table top had a chip making it look horrible. I called customer service and told me that they will have someone to evaluate the damage later (11 days after). This is not acceptable since they will come and review if they can fix it, but I bought a piece new not a repaired piece, BTW: they don't have return policy, no wonder why internet sales are destroying the stores. I am very disappointed with Ashley.
This was what was delivered to us last June. We noticed the side was listing out. Ashley will do nothing! We bought the 5 year extended warranty and the company will not touch it saying it is a manufacturing defect and too new it should be covered under Ashley one year warranty. We spent over $5,000 and been treated like dirt. We have been bounced back and forth from corporate, warranty companies, and home store. The side just keeps getting worse. This loveseat was obviously dropped in transit to us. We get nothing but promises for call backs and resolution and we are lied to each time.

In store sales girl was sweet but sold me the wrong bed. I was exhausted after hours of looking for the right furniture at different stores all day and signed for it. I asked for the bed that needed no boxspring bjt got a bed that did so now I have a bed frame that is put together but have been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for days now. Going on 4 days. They will send me a box spring that I had to pay for... even if its half off; but they cant manage to give me a date to send it during the morning because I cant take any more time off work so im stuck on the floor! And; on top of that the accent tables are completely wrong and still wont give me a date to pick them up and change then for the ones I actually paid for. You'd think spending 5k on a single purchase theyd get stuff right or at least try to have a boxspring delivered as soon as possible . Super disapointed Update. 4 days later they sent a boxspring TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING.

We just got an amazing warranty replacement on a sofa/loveseat set. Scott, the manager, was wonderful to work with - honest and truly concerned about customer satisfaction. Alexis, the salesperson, was professional and pleasant. Our loveseat had a structural problem from the beginning - one attempted repair didn't fix the problem; when they agreed to replace it, our set was no longer available; nothing matched the loveseat so they replaced both! We will be back and highly recommend the Gainesville store.

The most recent purchase was for patio furniture. The quality was better than items we found at the home improvement stores. i.e. thicker cushions & mildew resist fabric.
I dealt with Ashley furniture virtually and ordered a chair and ottoman to match my existing set I hate to do that because I like to ask 1 million questions but past experience with this particular set a furniture made it easy.
The sales people work hard to get great prices for you. The wait for the furniture wasn't to bad considering the pandemic.

Was there with my family looking at a sofa. Sales associate seemed extremely deceptive about the pricing (conveniently forgetting the 200 dollar delivery fee) and then saying that he had bad experience with their services. Just all around bad sales strategy Update: Was forced to buy a mattress there since it was one I liked. However, while the associate was knowledgeable, he seemed kind of apathetic in that he left me for almost five minutes to talk with other customers while I was finalizing my purchase. Almost made me walk out. Product arrived and works so that's good I guess

I very rarely leave reviews, but Ellie (at the Gainesville location) helped me with my furniture purchase and to say she went above and beyond is the understatement of the year! Apparently you have to deal with each store individually even though the local store routes you to the corporate customer service and they are never available. I will never do business with Ashley ever again. The basic service is horrible.

Terrible service, they schedule a day for partial delivery without consent on the customer side, but it was only a partial delivery. Full delivery would be an additional 5 months from when they said the products would be delivered. Called customer service numerous times and they kept dropping the call, hanging up. Can't get a manager on the phone to discuss. Pretty nice service right? Take your money upfront and lack any concern for customers afterward.

I’ve been dealing with the Ocala store and I’ve had a terrible experience but she has been working with me and trying to fix my problem that I have because of the mistake Ocala has made. I will never deal with Ashley furniture unless it’s the one in Gainesville and it has to be Ellie I’m working with me if not I will not be a Ashley customer if it wasn’t for her so please go see her if you need anything for your house she will make it possible
In store service is good but call in and delivery service is like sooo bad. Purchased an entry table and after waiting and calling and no answer. I finally had to go to the store and was told I would get it is 2 weeks. By this time I had been waiting for 2 months for the table. After waiting the additional two weeks and nothing. I had to go to the store AGAIN because no one picks up when you call they just leave you waiting on the line. Then they said I would get it in 2 more weeks. Sooo for an entry table it took 3 months of goin to the store and waiting. Once you buy its like they got you and your not important. Now I purchased a bed which was going to take 2 weeks. Guess what??! I’m into a month now waiting. They called to reschedule to deliver today. So here I am home waiting and nothing so after calling multiple numbers finally I get in touch with a life form and was told it’s going to now be delivered in 3 weeks. I asked when were they planning on let me know so I would not be here sitting waiting for a bed that was never gonna arrive today?? So now we are looking at 2 months. This seems to be typical of Ashley. They never meet their delivery dates and customer service call in is like calling to cancel your Direct TV subscription, they leave you on the phone until you get tired and hang up.
They have wonderful furniture and the managers and salesman treat you very good, BUT once you buy it is the worst customer service experience I have received. Not once has their delivery department been on time. I first bought a set a decorative items. We where supposed to get them in 2 weeks. It took 1-1/2 months after going to the store and asking because they would not answer the phone and leave you on hold till you got tired of waiting. When we finally received the product several items were broken. Called to get this addressed and again no one picked up and had to once again go to the store. They did a claim on it and said someone would call to pick it up at my house. 1 month later and I was still waiting. Called and guess what, had to again go to the store and spoke to the manager. They gave me a new set there. This took a little over 2 months. If I would not have gone to the store I would still be waiting. Read the next review for the other issues.

Tevin, one of the employees at the store, made the experience 100 times better. Went in looking for a mirror and was more than happy with my purchase. Tevin made my girlfriend and I feel welcomed, made us laugh, gave EXCELLENT customer service, and managed to give us a great discount on our furniture. 10/10 recommend asking for Tevin if you ever visit and want an excellent guide through the store!
In store service was great. I was first helped by Saul. F, great conversation and person. He informed me about a promotion that was happening the next week. Which saved me $160! I came back but he was gone. I was then assisted by Tracy Moreland! He was a very gentle soul and great conversation. Felt like I’ve known him before but actually our first time meeting. I did not feel pressured at all during this purchase and will definitely come back! Great job by these two men working together! Thank you Saul and Tracy!

This 5 stars goes to Saul Flores, an associate that helped us with our purchase. He was SO kind, So knowledgeable and so helpful with every aspect of our purchase. The visit was flawless and so easy with him. He helped us make our decisions easier and guided us towards what was budget friendly without compromising on quality! Now I just bought my products, so I cant review them yet but the service was Exceptional and for me that makes a huge difference whether I'll be going back! Thanks for being so thorough and kind Saul, truly was a great experience! Lol and we arent related we just by chance have the same last name, that was a fun conversation topic haha!

Simply horrible experience!! My wife and I purchased a new couch and matching ottoman in early May... After paying and reviewing my receipt, I noticed a 5 year warranty plan worth $169.99 that the salesman never mentioned nor would I ever agreed to. Ended up going back to the store and got a refund for that. The original delivery date was a month after I purchased it. I sold my old couch anticipating the new couch. 3 days before the delivery, I get a call stating the couch is in back order and will be delivered in another month. Understandable because of COVID-19. 2 days before delivery date, I called numerous time to the store about delivery time. No one picked up, had to go to the store and they told me the date has been pushed back another month!! Furious because I sold my couch almost 3 months ago! A week later my ottoman surprisingly shows up, but was the wrong size. Then a month later the couch finally arrives and get this... WRONG COLOR! Went back to the store and complained and they told me the salesman accidentally keyed in the wrong number for the color of the couch! Also the replacement ottoman matches the wrong color couch so the manager had to cancel the replacement ottoman with the correct color plus the replacement with correct color couch! Now I have to wait another week for the correct couch and ottoman!!! All those workers should get fired! Extremely dumb and can’t do their job correctly! Let’s see if the replacements come in 3 weeks or it’s going to be pushed back once again!!!
I got great great service from a worker there named Ellie. She was fantastic helping me pick out my first furniture ever! Once I found want I wanted she set everything up really nicely for me too. If you go to this store I would recommend you ask for Ellie.

Staff here is great. Especially Tevin. Good guy for sure! Manager was nice too. However, the store really needs to get themselves together and find out what items are available and what items aren't. They sold me a $2000 couch that they didn't even have offered with ashley anymore. Needless to say I was pretty mad when I found out it was discontinued because we already bought new furniture to match the couch. They did make us right by giving is a more expensive couch, but now our furniture isn't going to match.
I so upset and disappointed with the service I receive from Ashley. They fail to produce what they promise and does not reach out to customers when there is an issue. I purchase a bunk bed and mattresses, my sales rep didn’t understand the packaging and he promise I would receive the bed separately. (one bed packaging per box) However, the first delivery the guy told me that’s not how it’s package. I try to understand and move on. a month later I got the second part of the shipment, product is damage. “can you believe that” they did not call or send an email about this I had to call them to find out what’s going on.. 2 weeks later they deliver the other part this time in good condition. The guy told me he is not setting it up, just delivery. This after i was told they would set the bed up and if I don’t like it i should send it back with the truck. Even though the previous delivery guys all came to set up but this guy said his information said drop off only.. Now, setting up the bed one screw was the wrong size. I am driving all over searching for this screw with no luck. I am so upset it ruin my whole day. I tell you I will never go through this hassle again I will start shopping elsewhere. This is not the first time I have an awful experience with Ashley not going to do that again.
Rod hooked us up with our new couch today. He worked with us to get the couch plus a protection plan for a price we could afford. Also, on our way out, we saw Rod and Alex (another polite associate we met) helping load some furniture on to a customer’s trailer in the rain. Definitely recommend this location. Ask for Rod, he’s great.

I was ready to refurnish my entire home when I walked in the store. Friendly employees, but majority of them not wearing masks or wearing them under their chin (not covering their nose or mouth) while helping customers. A salesman was helping me with no mask and I felt so uncomfortable I didn&'t make the purchase I wanted to make and left.It is insensitive and unsafe to not wear a mask during our statewide spike of COVID. I don&'t plan on coming back as I didn&'t feel safe or comfortable here.
They have some nice furniture at good prices and even found a couch we liked. There was only one other customer in the store yet we walked past at least 8 employees, 2 buried in their phones, without any greetings let alone an offer to help us. As such we left the store to ponder the deal and ended up buying the exact same couch (at a lower price) at a different store the next day that was more intent on bringing in business.

Honestly had an awful experience. I have ordered from Ashley before but when it came to the Gainesville location I was disappointed. We met with a sales person, he told us the day and time to come in. Only for that sales person to call me an hour before and had to leave. We were instructed that the manager would be taking over. He was the least professional manager I have ever dealt with. Once we finally got to the ordering of furniture we were told it would be 1 week, that turned into 2 and that turned into longer. Once we got our delivery date and furniture delivered, we didn’t even get everything we ordered. I tried to call the local store and was on hold for over 45 min before leaving a voice mail. I’m sad to say Ashley has lost a long time customer.
Tracy Moreland was courteous and patient as we tried out different sofas and loveseats. He answered all questions to our satisfaction and never pressured us. It made for a very pleasant shopping experience and we were able to find the perfect love seat and sofa for us.

The gentlemen who helped us was respectful but had informed us they messed up and have misadvertised the mattress we wanted to buy and it would not be the price advertised. After 30 minutes of waiting on the managers response, we were told the total would come out to $549 before tax and they could not do the $499 price that it was advertised as. I told the gentleman helping us that I had a 10% discount and would like to use that as well. We then wanted to look for a storage bed but they did not have any that was the quality we want since we do have two dogs and need something sturdy to last. While this was happening, the gentleman helping us was assisting another customer so we had to wait another 30 minutes just to pay for the mattress. Once all was said and done we were there for almost 3 hours and were starving and ready to get out of there to grab a bite to eat. Shame on us because the 10% wasn't applied. But we decided to let it go as well as we did with the misadvertised price. 2 weeks later the bed is delivered to our house and the bottom has multiple rips and the corner has a huge rip. This I just was not ok with especially since it's on the corner where the sheets are going and will in time get worse and worse. We immediately called to put a claim in the same day and had to send pictures in and were told we would be contacted within 24-48 hours. No one contacted us. We tried calling the person who was taking care of the claim, no response, no call backs to our voicemails. We put another claim in in hopes that someone would get back to us. Next day, we call and can't get a representative on the phone so over the days we just keep calling until we get someone on the phone who can help. Come to find out the original person who was supposed to attach the pictures to the claim never did and no one contacted us. At this point it has been a week since the mattress was delivered and the issue still wasn't resolved so I mentioned the misadvertised price and not getting the 10% discount and was told to tell the return guys who still haven't called us. The store is no help, they say there is nothing they can do and to go through customer service line, the one that will not return phone calls. I just don't understand how the customer service is so horrible for such huge company. I am STILL CURRENTLY on hold at the gainesville store for 56 minutes because i either get hung up on with the customer service number or they just simple never return a phone call. If I had known it would have been this much of a hassle for a mattress I definitely would've spent the extra money finding something elsewhere with better service. Shop here with caution

If I could give negative stars I would. Let&'s start from the beginning. I spent $1,300 on a couch and an extra $100 for the GBS insurance in October 2019. I was told GBS will cover everything done to the couch I.e. pet stains, knife marks, cigarette burns, or it stolen. So of course I said sign me up. WRONG was a waste of money. I have a puppy and she peed on some of the cushions so I called GBS and asked if I could have a technician come out and replace them. They told me they only cover fabric and will not replace the cushion inside. I then reach out to Ashley&'s and told them about my experience and they told me that GBS is wrong and they have to replace my cushions. So now I&'m being told two different things and spoke to 4 different GBS representatives all telling me they can not replace it. I once again call Ashley&'s and tell them and I am frustrated and ask if I can just purchase the cushions and call it a day they lady over the phone told me that it is not allowed and Ashley&'s does not sell parts of a couch I&'d have to buy a whole new couch. I said that&'s absurd and she said because I got my couch in October and it&'s only March I am still under their warranty and they can send their own technician out to me. Jason their technician came out a day later and told Ashley&'s corporate I need new cushions and it is obvious and was on my side very nice and friendly. Jason said Ashley&'s will be contacting me in 48 hours to discuss the next steps but no one ever reached out to me. Let&'s fast forward to over a month later April 4, 2020 I contact Brittany at Ashley&'s furniture and guess what she says ... &"you need to contact GBS it&'s in your warranty for them to replace it&" and then as I continuously tell her they said no and will not replace it she doesn&'t believe me. She claims that she&'s putting a claim for corporate and they&'ll call in 48 hours to talk about it. I wake up today May 5th 2020 and it&'s a text message saying to call GBS because they will not fix it. I called Ashley&'s again and spoke to Brittany and once again said to call GBS for them to fix it and so for obvious reasons I am very frustrated that not only am I not being taken serious when I just spend $3,000 at their store for my living room to be redone but I am being fed wrong information by every employee because they were notGiven proper training with GBS and either was Brittany which keep in mind Brittany is a manager you would think she would be very bright which turns out she is not. So anyways I&'m talking with Brittany and she says &"the only thing you can do next is purchase the cushions from us&" and I then respond and say &"I asked that in March when I came in the first place with my cushion issues but was told I am not allowed to and would have to purchase my couch all over again&" she said sorry and didn&'t know who I spoke with trying to brush it off. I asked her if I could have a discount because this is just ridiculous I need four cushions but it&'s been a month and a half and I&'ve received ZERO contact from ashelys and ZERO apologies from them to say sorry for all the inconveniences all she could say is I understand. I have never been treated so poorly by a corporation. All I need is 4 cushions that&'s all.... but I can&'t even get a phone call to talk about anything. They are doing nothing to show appreciation for the money I&'ve spent. I also tried to brush it off and not harass them with phone calls because I understand we&'re in a pandemic right now but since things are slowly getting back to normal I decided to reach out and that is the service I get. Same before pandemic and same after. Do not purchase the GBS insurance if you buy from Ashley&'s because they will not help you. And Ashley&'s will not help you either if you&'re still under their warranty for the couch.
Employees are knowledgeable but the only price matching they supposedly do is with companies that do not carry any of their items. It's very misleading and just not very good.
Sarah was great when we were in the store. Very helpful and is a great listener. Very attentive until they get your momey. I will be going back....that was from 8 months ago. I tried to like this company but like so many their customer service is need of an overhaul. Still waiting on a $300 credit to my account from 8 months ago. Called the store multiple times about this. Each time they said that it would show up on my bill as a credit the following month. Nice furniture but no where near nice enough to go through the headache. Next time i will just go somewhere else.

What made my experience so stellar is that Courtney didn’t rush me into making a purchase. I told him what my budget was and he made every effort to help me stay in my personal range. He even showed me items that would help protect my purchase. If you want a great shopping experience at Ashley’s make sure to ask for Courtney! Oh I almost forgot Courtney took the extra mile and called me the day of delivery to ensure everything arrived and to confirm I was happy with my purchase.

Update: I called today and spoke with Michelle and also the sales manager they were able to work everything out for me. And apologize for the inconvenience I received previously. I’ve been calling for over six months for a copy of my receipt, so I could file a claim for my warranty on my sofa.I always get told I’m going to get a call back ( or email with the with the document) and never do. I spent good money for my furniture as well for the warranty. It has been well over six months and I still have not been able to get a copy of my receipt.
Thankfully left to look around without a salesperson following me. They have a nice sale running now but prices are cheaper on the website. Unfortunately all the styles and colors look the same right now.
Poor customer service, No attention to detail And a lack of consideration for the customer and their convenience. They forgot pieces to my couch and they make it difficult to rectify a mistake that they made. Disappointing and would not recommend.
If I could give zero stars I would, they neglected to bring all the pieces of our sectional upon delivery and now we are getting every excuse in the book as to why we can’t receive our missing piece of furniture expeditiously. This was a mistake made in their end and as the customer hoops should be jumped through to make sure our experience is a nice one, you had no problem receiving our payment so why is there still an issue and we have to still wait in our couch it had been weeks. Poor customer service, poor customer appreciation, poor customer excuse for a business establishment.

we ordered over 3 mo's ago and the glass had issues. They said would immediately order new one, drop the ball 2 times. Sunday we walk in , oh we have 2 out back, but cant exchange until we bring ours in. So Wed I bring in ( down from dinning room ceiling). The 2 replacements have termite damage on wood base.....can poke finger thru. Then to order new one , which took 6 weeks on the first order....I'm supposed to leave my light till new one shows up......ummmm NO! They were rude and condescending. So of course I call my husband and he by know is not cool about it. They could careless......will never do business again!

These people are absolutely horrible their customer service is absolutely the worst I&'ve ever experienced in my life they have a young manager there, I&'m not sure of this name I know it begins with a g. He also must have a girlfriend named Brittany that seems to be the office manager cuz they are very tight they treat customers terribly very condescending we went in to try to make a deal on a sofa and side chair and side table and we&'re talk down to like we were pieces of dirt and like we were stupid don&'t go to this furniture store pick any place but here even big lots
I read the poor reviews of this company before I purchased a living room suit from them. I spoke with the salesman Michael and voiced my concerns about all the negative reviews on delivery. He assured me they have new management in place and they no longer had issues with deliveries. I believed him and paid cash for my purchase. I was told at the time, after paying a $250.00 delivery fee that my furniture would be delivered In 3 weeks. I was assured I would receive a call 2 days prior to my delivery. Well needless to say I didn’t. I called Michael and he told me that a piece of the furniture was broken and they would deliver it the following day. I then received a text from Ashley that they could not deliver it Sunday it would be Tuesday. Monday came and no call of course so I called the store again and was told by the rude receptionist that I was not set up for Tuesday I was set up for the following Friday. When I asked why she said the furniture was on back order. I paid cash for my purchase and told her I wanted to cancel and wanted my money back. She said well if you paid cash you will have to wait 3 weeks to get your money back from my home office. I said put the request in and she said ok and hung up. I am beyond mad and frustrated. PLEASE READ THESE REVIEWS. EVERYTHING THAT WAS WRITTEN IS TRUE. The management of this store is horrendous!
The Managers Matt and Gavin were so kind and understanding!! They let me have my space to look and think, yet was available and knowledgeable when I had questions. Matt solidified my choice with generosity and options really tailored to my specific needs!!! I looked at 4 other stores and didn't find anything else that came close to the selection and prices at Ashley!!! THANK YOU!!!
When I read the reviews I couldn’t believe what people were saying about the staff. I went here to buy my first living room couches and Rod was there to help. He introduced himself, I told I him I was looking and he told me to call for him needed. I walked around for 30 hour and did my own thing. Then he came up asked if I was good, told him what I had in mind and told me when I made a decision to get him. It was perfect. Then I left to check out rooms to go. Didn’t like that. Went back and saw Rod. He even said hello to my mom who was on the phone with me Via Face time. Told him what I wanted he went through everything with me. He cracked jokes. I felt like we’d been friends for years. Even another young mixed gentlemen was having a laugh with us. It was a great experience. I’ll always remember them as long has I have the couches.

Called to see if someone could come to our office space to help select the right pieces due to odd space. Immediate and cold. No we don't do that.... No offer to have me come to the store to discuss... just flat no and hang up. Contacted their main office to complain. "Sorry they were rude but we don't do that". Not once did they tell me what they COULD do. Or even try to find out what I was looking at. If there were a way to give a ZERO for customer service I would give it. Someone needs to take over their training and learn how to turn a negative into a positive.

I ordered a Bladen Full Sofa Sleeper, ITEM# - 1200036, for my man cave. It took about 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. Things went sideways the day of the delivery. I had paid with paypal. Unfortunately I had recently moved and not updated my home address with paypal. I had entered my correct delivery address on the Ashley site but old paypal address overrode the address I manually entered. The day of the delivery, I had taken a vacation day and when I got a text saying the delivery was going to happen within the hour, I noticed it was my old address. I called customer service and the first rep said there was nothing I could do but cancel the order and re order and wait for another 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I explained the situation to the supervisor. She informed me the first rep was technically correct because of paypal security measures, but she said she would call the delivery drivers directly and see if they would agree to the new address. They did. Long story short, the customer service manager was awesome, the delivery guys were very helpful (the room was a tight squeeze but they got in pro style) and the sofa sleeper is super comfy and looks like a million bucks. Thanks Ashley Furniture for 5 star service!!!
Bought a couch and a master bedroom set w/mattress here. I think they are having their “biggest sale” just about every weekend but I think I got a very good price on my stuff.
This is by far the worst service I have received! Most of the staff that I encountered were not friendly or helped if they weren't the sales rep who approached me upon entry. Every time I call the store or the warehouse I can never get a straight answer on my purchase. I am still waiting on my order from November! I have missed days of work waiting on my delivery only to get a text minutes before arrival that my order is on backorder. I will never spend my money with this company again! Ashley has nice furniture, but since other local stores price match as well as order the same items, I will take their sales that interest me and my business to another local store instead of going through this horror with Ashley's again.
While the staff at purchase time was very good, the delivery 🚚 process was not. Delivery time was from 3-7 pm. At 7:30, we were still waiting . I called the store and they said the truck had problems earlier in the day and everything had to be transferred to another truck. They said delivery would occur by 8:45 pm that night. I advised this would not work with our family so we rescheduled. Would recommend they have a customer service process in place whereby customers are notified when there is a delay in delivery.
I’m so unbelievably disappointed! I ordered 2 recliners and the first delivery had a love seat. I went to the store, the guy said he changed it and delivery was rescheduled. The second delivery no one showed up, 40 min before the end of my delivery window someone finally called me to tell me one of the recliners was on back order. She said she would personally check the night before to make sure the recliners were both there. On the third delivery attempt I got the love seat again. I called and talked to Karen, she said she would delete the order, reorder the recliners and send me an email confirmation. I know she did not do this because later that evening I was contacted by customer service who put me on hold for 10 min while they called the store and they also spoke to Karen. Karen said all she could see in the order was the love seat. Had Karen deleted the love seat like she said she would and put in the recliners like she said she would, they would have seen the recliners that were supposed to be delivered 11 days ago. Now I have to go back to the store again to see if I can straighten this out and keep my fingers crossed that I actually get what I used my entire Christmas bonus and then some to pay for. They better make this right! I want my furniture or I want my money back.

We want to take a moment to share our exceptional experience with our Salesman, the Floor Manager, the personnel coordinating deliveries at the Store, and the delivery personnel from Tampa. We started shopping for new furniture (for a new house) about 8 weeks before we ordered anything. We visit the Ashley Home Store 4 or 5 times through this window of time and Rod, our Salesman, always made us feel welcome but never put any pressure on us to buy. He recognized we wanted to look without an “escort.” We were so grateful for this as other stores wanted to have someone follow us along and it spoiled our experience with those stores. The Floor Manager, Gavin, checked in with us and made us feel welcome...again NO pressure to buy NOW! We took many pictures and when the time came to order we went in during the Thanksgiving Sale (Black Friday) and with the help of Gavin and the Salesman made our selections for a GREAT price. It was FUN and the Team made it EASY. We were directed to the team that arranges delivery and given AMAZING Customer Service. We were treated as individuals with respect and integrity. The “behind the Counter Crew” are great to work with...they are smart and KNOW their business. As promised, one day before the delivery, we received a phone call and text giving us a window of time when the Delivery Team would arrive. PERFECT! On the day of the delivery the driver needed assistance to find our home (our new home is on a street that is not in the GPS). A woman from Tampa and the Driver called in advance and we were able to help them find our place with ease. The furniture was delivered as-promised and the furniture was efficiently assembled by a GREAT Delivery Team. NO COMPLAINTS! We have made other purchases from Ashley Home Store since the initial purchase and continue to enjoy a great experience. We cannot understate our experience with Rod, Gavin, and the in-store delivery personnel...each individual did a fabulous job for/with us. Even the Delivery Team were great...Thank You! Matt, the store manager promised a white glove professional delivery and set up of the furniture. The delivery team would personally inspect each piece of furniture at the warehouse before loading it on the truck and after several delays we finally were given a delivery date thus beginning the pre-delivery ordeal. The delivery was supposed to occur in the morning, but the truck didn’t arrive until almost 5:00 PM. The promised white glove delivery in reality was two guys in a truck who had no idea how to put together the Tempur-Pedic bed or other furniture they were there for hours fumbling around. Around 8:00 PM, we told them to unbox the rest of the furniture and leave. My husband assembled the rest of the furniture himself. If my husband hadn’t helped the delivery guys with the unloading and putting the empty cardboard back on the truck, those men would have left it all laying around our small apartment. We ordered chairs for our dining room table but were delivered stools that we compromised on with the store. The feet did not fit into the defective screw holes in the chair. The Ottoman for the chair was missing from the shipment and a zipper on the back cushion of the couch was defective allowing stuffing to come out! Thus, began the “post-delivery nightmare.” Pictures were taken, phones calls and text messages were exchanged with the Ashley Furniture sales team who responded with assurances to make it right. After over 6 weeks post-delivery, they got us another coffee table and end table and the ottoman. Well, we had to go pick them up. Unfortunately, the salesperson Michael Armstrong and the manager Matt have offered us nothing but empty words and feigned indignation regarding the correction of the rest of our order! The chair and couch are still broken. Michael told us to call the furniture protection plan people, who told us it’s not covered because it’s a manufacture defect and covered in the 1-year warrantee. We have been more than understanding. After over 4 months and still being unable to sit on my chair and use the ottoman, we are fed up and frankly very disappointed in the broken promises. My husband even reached out to store office manager, Beth McDeavitt by phone on December 11th and was promised a return call the next day but has received no call to this day We are tempted to just fix it ourselves but that would void the warranty/protection plan. It appears to be one of those “if we ignore them, then they will go away” situations. I paid $15,000 in cash in good faith, made too many compromises and have been more than understanding. We are not getting anywhere with the store, so we are now reaching out with reviews posted with the Better Business Bureau and social media. Overall, pretty frustrating. My husband and I purchased a few items from Ashley both online and in the Gainesville store. The sales reps with whom we have worked have been professional and helpful. But my last two deliveries have proven unsuccessful and disappointing. The first of the two, was continuously delayed for the item being back ordered, then damaged, then back ordered again. I cancelled that transaction before receipt, but after months of waiting for it. Most recently, this December, my husband I purchased a new bed, mattress, and box spring. The bed came in a box labeled "table" and contained a partially assembled bed, with a few marks (smudges) in places that wouldn't be seen once a mattress was in place and missing the majority of the hardware. Because we had "threshold delivery" we were kind of on our own. I contacted the Gainesville store, and spoke with Karen. She told me a manager was finishing up with a customer and would call me back. 2.5 hours later, I still did not receive a call back. Nor did I receive a call the next day. Nor the next. My husband took a trip to Lowe's and purchased the missing hardware ($20). While assembling the bed, the last piece didn't quite fit (holes were not aligned) and took some work and drilling to make the pieces attach. Two days after delivery, I finally got hold of a manager at the Gainesville store, Gavin, who told me (1) that the furniture I received was not used or previously assembled (basically the markings on the side of the bed were not a sign of previous use, and the partially assembled bed frame was not a sign of a previously assembled then returned bed - really?!); and (2) there was nothing he could do to help me - that I had to contact the Threshold Delivery service number. Anyway - Gavin was patronizing and not at all helpful. As for the Threshold Delivery service - I was on hold for 30 minutes being tortured with the same Christmas song over and over. No one ever answered. Will NOT be shopping at Ashley Furniture in Gainesville again.
Please believe every negative review its true. I purchased over 12,000 worth of furniture no financing. Sales rep called & texted multiple times while trying to secure the sale. Not to mention the sales rep called me on my cellphone because my grandmother came into the store and someone else started assisting her. I requested that my delivery date be moved and the sales rep had me under the impression that he had it changed. Well he didn't i recieved a text message regarding Delivery date being the same. I texted him and he sent me the customer service number (what a joke). I called and it was never changed.Move forward to the furniture being delivered. My dresser is visibly broken. I call the store 3 times in the same day each time being told that the customer service rep would call me back. No one ever called back. I then called the 800 number and speak with a rep who claims to have ordered the part. Three and a half weeks pass no part in the mail. I go to the store on Archer rd speak with a customer service representative and told the part was ordered she would reach out to the parts department and would give me a call in 1-2 days. 1 whole week passes by, no call. I call into the store today a week later and ask to speak with the store manager and told no he's busy on the sales floor. So the customer service representative then proceeds to say so much time has passed that the time frame for a service technician to come out has expired. So you have to order your own part and fix your own broken dresser. I will never ever buy or recommend this poor customer service store to anyone. Go to Walkers furniture.
Great selection and good prices. Our only issue is the obviously sharky sales people. Don't get me wrong, I know you're working for that commission but don't make it awkward for the customer, especially when 2 sales people are fighting to get the sale. No thanks.
I went to store to buy Patio set, over half the sets they had listed online and showing on the cards in store were discontinued. The prices were listed wrong. None of the original set I wanted I could not order. I had to wing it a bit a pick what they had and hope it all fit. The sales person said don't worry we will bring all the pieces out and just keep what you want and we will take back the rest. We placed the order. I called the sales guy person to cancel 1 item. I did not have room. They refused to cancel the one item. I put on delivery to call me when they arrive. I paid them for installation. Ashely showed up left everything in boxes, did not install anything, and still refuses to take back the one item I did not want that I tried to cancel when I placed the order. Bad service. I would recommend one of the other furniture stores here in Gainesville. During a second trip, I stopped by to see about buying a dinning table and patio table. I asked them for a price for the coffee table. They instead went right to selling me the item without telling me the price. I told the sales guy I would have to think about it and that I wanted to look around. I asked him to buy a measure tape to see if the Coffee table would fit. I was told I have to buy the table first before he would let me have the measure tape. He seemed kind of hostile to my childered that was there. He refused to show me around the store, Not Family Friendly place to shop.

Tracy our sales agent did a great job of explaining to us the details about our Tempurpedic bed and our sofa. The price was very reasonable and on top of that we had discounts. Our buying experience with this store and sales agent Tracy was superb. I would recommend them if you need furnitures. People are so helpful and professional. Will surely comeback to buy other stuff here at Ashley Gainesville, FL. Thanks for a great and unmatched buying experience .

We have purchased over twelve thousand dollars of merchandise with this store over the course of 6 months and let me tell you, as soon as you have an issue, you will have to jump through hoops to find a resolution. One of our recliners was broken at the foot and was not noticed until a month after it was delivered and it took over a month for a “technician” to come. Once he did, he came unprepared and told us he could not fix the problem with the tools he had. Fast forward a month, they send the same “technician” and surprise, once again he does not have the tools to fix the chair. After hours on the phone with both corporate and this particular store, it is apparent that once they get your money, they could care less about you. If they really cared about their customers, they would follow up to see if the problem is resolved and not send unqualified vendors to your house TWICE who cannot get the job done. If I saw the technician on one side of the street, I would cross to the other. It speaks volumes about this company and this store in particular. I am very, very disappointed and will not stop until they have a 1 star rating.
WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I bought an outdoor furniture set from this store. I was pushed into buying the insurance which I never do. About 7 months later the wicker on the chairs start to break and fall apart from the sun damage. I called the store where I bought the furniture and was directed to insurance. Called insurance company to put in a claim which ended up being denied as it was still within a year had to be covered under the stores 1 year manufacture warranty. I then called back to the store after weeks of dealing with the insurance company and was told someone would be calling me back. This went on for weeks and weeks as no one would end up calling me and I would get the same response each time. So now months have gone by and I’m dealing with the manager and now they are claiming it’s been past a year and now I need to go back to the insurance company for another claim.... which was denied again as the record show I put in a claim under the warranty. Nothing ever resulted of this after seeing over 2k disappear as they would not offer a refund or even a credit to buy some new furniture. I am never one to complain or ask for a manger. Matter of fact this is literally the first review I have EVER wrote. The sales practice and treatment of this company is unethical and probably illegal. I would NEVER recommend anyone buy anything from this company.

What a gyp ! I went to the store to pick up a couple side tables for my new power recliners. Each table was on sale for $69.99 but they wanted to charge me an additional $69 in 99 cents each just to deliver them. I went on to Amazon and order them for $69.99 and got the free prime shipping. It's not that I don't love Being chased down and followed throughout the show Room And I wasn't even that annoyed by the fact that no matter what I said to the Saleswoman just wouldn't seem to buzz off I'm still shocked that they wanted to charge me $140 just to deliver my 2 little Side tables that were delivered free by Amazon and literally could fit in the trunk Of my Camry Fully Assembled with Room to spare
Worst customer service item came in damaged now week later still do not have replacement item. 2nd item Scheduled for 7pm they changed my item to deliver between 11 and 3 .... Do not buy from these worst customer support!!!!

Their furniture is OK, but their service is the worst of all stores in America!!! Not one of the worst, but THE WORST ever!!! Ashley has no service capacity at all! Once you get it, you live with it! We bought a coffee table and end table. When they delivered, I have filed a tech request because there were scratches. I went to the store at least five time. Every time they told me they have filed the request, and somebody from their corporate will call me in 48, once they said in 72 hours. However, nobody had called me. It's been over a month since I filed the claim. One time, they said they could give me their corp. phone number if I didn't hear from them in 72 hours, but not when I visited them due to company policy. I called to get the phone number 72 hours later, yet, I was told their policy do not allow them to give me their corp phone number. How can their policy change within 3 days? I think the staff just made it up!!! I also found the coffee table has manufacture defect since the lift top does not close well on one corner. I filed that defect two weeks ago, yet still, nobody had contacted me. You can see clearly, Ashley has no service capacity at all! Once you buy it, you live with it! Half of my furniture was bought from Ashley, however, every piece of furniture has a terrible story behind!!! I will never buy from Ashley again!!!
We spent a substantial amount of time sitting on a sofa and love seat at the store and were told the products were American made which matters to us. When the furniture arrived the box and the furniture was labeled "Made in Viet Nam" and the pieces were not nearly as well padded as the ones at the store. Within 20 minutes of sitting on them the pressure on our legs and backs from feeling the wood frames caused us pain. Within four hours we returned to the Orange Park store and spoke with Kristy Grieve, the store manager. She, too, indicated the furniture was American made but when we asked her to look at the tags on the bottom of the furniture she saw they were made in VietNam. To her credit, she refunded all of our money except for the delivery fee which is understandable. What is not understandable is that the credit memo we were issued was never processed and, after 16 days, the credit company is demanding payment and insists they never received the credit memo from Ashley. It's bad enough that the staff and manageemnt doesn't know where their furniture is manufactured; it matters to some customers. It's inexcusable that Ashley hasn't processed a credit memo with a bank for more than two weeks as that impacts a customer's credit. This is NOT something a reputable business does and we will not recommend anyone shop with them.
This is the worst customer service I have ever received. I bought an ivory couch with premium delivery. The couch arrived way past the window of delivery, which I was okay with because I understand things happen. But then, my couch arrives with black grease marks ALL OVER the WHITE couch. I have called Ashley multiple times and was told they would "call me back." I haven't received ANY calls back. I even called customer service and all they did was email the store I was complaining about. I will never buy from Ashley again after this experience!

The customer service experience and delivery of furniture has been horrible. I ordered a tv stand and coffee table. The tv stand was delivered without shelves and a missing bottom support. I have had contact with multiple people at the store including the store manager Matt with zero help. They don’t follow up. I have had to call at least 6 times to get a status update on them fixing the furniture and they do not respond. I am hoping to return the furniture. I would not rely on their customer service promises. I would give 0/5 if I could.
I had a phenomenal experience buying furniture today. I walked in expecting to drop a check but two outstanding gentlemen, Tracy and Gavin, relieved me of this worrie by hooking me up with a great deal. 35% of a 1000$ dollar order to be percise. Ashley's has great salt of the earth people that are just looking to sell furniture at a incredibly reasonable price. No salesman just people that know good furniture!
Totally dissatisfied at the customer service, or lack of. Had a delivery gone wrong and was told I would get a credit. It has taken 3 phone calls with promises of a return phone call each time and still no resolution. Yesterday I was promised a phone call by 6pm and still nothing. You won’t be getting my return business.
Do not purchase from them, if your order is perfect your good, if not they will not work with you....RUN.......our bed platform was delivered damaged not biggie it happens, next deliver date was set but no one showed it, reason, they say no one was home but then they said they showed no delivery date. Call the store to see if they could help, they set the deliver date for what we needed but call back and said they cant do it at that time....YOUR MISTAKE SHOULD NOT BY OUR PROBLEM.
We will never purchase for them again. And if your smart you will go anywhere but here.
My Wife and I went in there today on 8/22/2019 and because we're Black none of the sales associates even greeted us when we walk through the door,nor did they offer any assistance or help ! It would have been nice if someone would have said anything or even asked if we needed help ,but no one never came do not go to Ashley store looking to be anything because no will not help you !

They delivered our $800 tv stand broken. I think the delivery guys dropped it outside but I didn’t see it. They left without telling us about the broken shelf and I’m still trying, weeks later, to get the thing fixed. They put me on hold for about a half hour at the main number and now are telling me it will be 4 weeks before a technician can come out. We waited a month to get our furniture and two weeks to get the parts and then now another month to get the technician out here. They never offered any kind of discount. I like the couch and desk we got, and the entertainment center will be ok once they finally fix it but we won’t be shopping at Ashley furniture anymore after this.
If your purchase gone smooth then you’re lucky. What if you have any issue with your purchased, Ashley furniture don’t take care you ask a value customer, if they will do anything to to get rid of you even that is their seller fault. This is a dishonest, irresponsible and a scamming business. You don’t see this until your order have problems.
0 star if I could give to this Ashley location for dishonest to their customers. My husband and I went to look for dinning chairs and bar stools and the salesman even helped us measuring the height of the stool, which is 29-ish” and so we agreed to get 3 of them along with the dining chairs. At the checkout, the salesman quickly went over the orders (without telling how many inches of the bar stool) such as: 4 dinning chairs and 3 bar stools. We trusted him or I shall say we trusted the Ashley brand and so we made the purchase without hesitation. Everything was fine up till when we received the package, bar stool is now 24”. I called the customer service and found out that Ashley in Gainesville has to solve that issue. I called Ashley in Gainesville asking for an exchange, however, the manager with the voice of accusing us for the agreement purchase those 24” height that we signed the contract and not willing to exchange them. There isn’t anywhere on the invoice stated the height of the stools, or how do we supposed to understand the code numbers when we’re just the buyers, perhaps they forgot who was the person entering the wrong code? I asked if she can go through the cameras footage to see the situation, she said there’s none cameras in the store. (?) This is my first experience with Ashley store and last, although I like the Ashley brand, won’t recommend anyone using Ashley in Gainesville where scamming is their best.
Just purchased a new bed from Ashley. Amy was great and went out of her way to help me! Also, the delivery guys were awesome. They showed up early and had the whole thing put together in less then 15 minutes. Very satisfied!
We were looking to add some furniture to our living room area. We wanted to get something that fit into a bit "higher class" than what we have in our den where it is subject to high wear. Anyhow, we stopped in several times over a long period of time and recently decided to make a purchase. Most times we were greeted and had someone follow us around answering questions and showing us items. However, this time the store was a little busier and we were left to our own devices. While my wife and I prefer this type of shopping and we actually we're able to finally decide on a couch and loveseat it did take a while to find an associate for closing things up. Rod eventually found us and really helped close up the deal. He is a great guy and an awesome sales person. I wouldn't doubt if he's one of the best there. He didn't put any high pressure on us and certainly didn't try to sell us anything we weren't interested in. I was very impressed.

I visited the store this past Tuesday looking for a specific nightstand to match my bedroom set. The set was not on display, but Tracy was able to find it for me on the Ashley website and even matched the online price. I saved $83.00 and my nightstand is getting delivered this week!

He and the whole sales team are extremely friendly and walk you through the entire sales and delivery process, and do their best to save you money wherever they can. My salesperson, Kerry was great and the delivery crew was awesome. The experience I had with customer service was unacceptable. A customer service rep should never be rude or condescending to a customer and I was met with this more than once for an issue that was not my fault. After talking with Kerry, he made sure my issue was resolved and I got my furniture.
Had just moved to Jacksonville and needed a new couch ASAP! Found Ashley Homestore and headed that way. Was greeted as soon as I walked into the store and introduced to my salesman, Bryan B. I told him what I was looking for and he took me right to it. This was on a Saturday and by Monday my new couch was sitting in my living room. He was very professional and courteous! Went back a week later for a new mattress and was given a 20% discount. Love Ashley and very much appreciate how they accommodated me!!!
BUYER BEWARE! Gainesville, florida store has horrible customer service! Please help me get in touch with someone that can help. We purchased a damaged bed, got it delivered, then they picked it back up. The store is not showing that the delivery department picked it back up. I have tried to attest the claim with the Ashley credit card but they denied our request. This is very immoral business practice!
This is the 4th (FOURTH) time I take my day off to get the furniture delivered. The store has been putting the wrong orders. ABSURD!!! Even the delivery guy said that this is screwed up, and that they are not taking this as a priority:Ashley Furniture: are you going to pay me for all the days I&'ve taken off!? INFURIATING!!!!!
Do not buy anything at this store! My husband and I went for a bedroom set with two beds and we had to pick something we didn't really like 100% just because we needed it by a certain date and it was the only one available for that day; however, when the delivery people contacted me, they said that a piece was missing and therefore, they had to delay everything until June and that was the best case scenario. The person at corporate who we talked to was rude and told us to go fight with the store if we wanted. Awful! simply awful! Spend a little more money and go to ROOMS TO GO! when they were missing an item, they still delivered what they had and returned at a later date with the remaining item. Not the case with Ashley, they only do one delivery so you just have to wait until they are good and ready. NOT RELIABLE! In addition forget their financing, 29. 99% interest rate, its crazy! and the manager will tell you that your bank checking account is need just for verification, but the truth is that they used it to take your payments automatically, the salesman and the staff are not even honest. They talk a lot to pretend to be friendly, but all they want is to distract you. Never again!

They have great furniture. A bit overpriced, but I assume that it is great quality. So that is understandable. My issue is the order delivery. We bought a bed with storage. That means that it is supposed to come with a foundation (we bought the mattress desperately). So got the furniture delivered. It looked like there wasn't a foundation on the bed. We asked the guys if that was it and they said yes. We sign (we've never bought a bed and we did not know what a foundation looked like). We put the mattress on and it didn't work. We call the furniture store and they said that the bed actually doesn't come with a foundation, but they'll send us a foundation. We get the foundation and it turns out that it's a foundation for a queen, not the king bed. We are now waiting to get the king foundation. We're trying to understand, but we've been without a bed for about a month. This is starting to get frustrating. This would be a good time to apply a discount.

Apparently the online specials do not apply to the store. I found a sofa online at one price, but could not place the order in the size I wanted. I was told I had to come into the store - that they would not take phone orders. The store had the same item at a higher price. They gave me a bogus story why they couldn&'t honor the online advertised price. Then charged me $70 for delivery and set up. Online, I could waive this charge because it did not need setup. It was a sofa. However, the store would not let me waive that charge.Deceptive advertising and storeroom tactics.

It took me 39 minutes to get the right person on the line who told me all she could do is send an email to their regional store and have them call me which they never did. Cannot get a person on the phone to price match this for me and it appears they have no willingness to do so. I have to fully furnish 3 more places this summer and will definitely be taking my business elsewhere as they have deceptive pricing and no customer service.

Our consultant was Kerry H. He truly made a stressful experience into actual fun . That has NEVER happened to my husband and myself before! He was respectful of our opinions but informative .. what I loved Was he did not hover over us.. but when we needed him he appeared ! It is hard to articulate but he made us feel like he appreciated us and our business ! And AGAIN .. his sense of humor was such a joy! I've never laughed so much buying anything! THANK YOU !! Horrible experience with this store. Ordered a sectional back in February. Wrong item was delivered to the house. The process to correct the wrong delivery was lengthy and they were unwilling to accommodate our schedule despite this being their mistake to begin with. Less than one month later one of the recliners break, and a tech is scheduled to come fix it (one month later). Fast forward one month, tech doesn’t show up, and recliner is still broken. I call the store and the best they can do is reschedule a tech (20 days from now) hopefully they’ll show up this time. No option to return or exchange furniture! Avoid this store and save yourself the headache.

Found the sectional sofa that I wanted and tried to order it online because it offered a 10% coupon, but the site would not let me order the color I wanted online, so I had to go to the actual store to place the order because they would not take a phone order. This store would not honor the 10% coupon and they charged me for shipping which was optional online. So by going into the store, I forfeited 10% discount and the option to drop ship it to my door. Sounds a little phony to me.

I ordered the Brassville power recliner and couch and two side tables with the USB ports and outlets. The sales person was very professional and helpful. But that’s where it ends. The couch was delivered damaged, the recliner was not a power recliner, the tables are missing the shelves and the the flap where the outlets are located do not close all of the way. The delivery guys were in too big of a hurry to care, even though I realize it’s not really their problem. They also did not speak English well so there was a communication issue. I contacted Ashley furniture to rectify the issue and was told it would be a month before anyone could come look at the couch. A month??? This furniture was just delivered to me!! It didn’t seem anyone cared that I received the wrong recliner because I had to keep mentioning that I did not receive the power recliner. I asked if I could swap the side tables out for a different color and was told that there is a no return policy. Really? I argued with them about that because I had to choose the furniture from a computer screen, and picking the right color is not easy to do that way. Not to mention that I’m a very dissatisfied customer at this point and I feel that I deserve to be able to do this. I’ve contacted Ashley a few times, and I feel like they take my information to satisfy me and then forget about me again. I’m not being obnoxious with them on the phone, and I’m trying very hard to be pleasant. Maybe I should change my tone and see if it helps. I was asked to send pictures of the furniture to show where it was damaged, and to show that I received the incorrect recliner. I did this and have not heard anything from them since. Because of this experience I’m probably done with Ashley, and will not be recommending them to any of my friends or family. As for the Brassville furniture, it is great! Very comfortable. Just wish my couch wasn’t broken and my recliner was power.
Three stars because they have a great selection and most of the stuff is pretty good quality. The staff here is one of those places were you walking in the converge on you and they want to follow you around and ask you questions and show you stuff and it's super annoying. So when I walked in I had to tell them to leave me alone which they thought was kind of rude I think however I don't need somebody in my face when I'm trying to check out couches and furniture. Needless to say maybe I'm shopping in the wrong kind of place I don't know. The prices here are kind of expensive but what I did find was that they are all negotiable. So if I got online and I looked up the item and it was a better price they would match it with a little bit of bickering and complaining. So I picked out my dream couch or close to it and paid money upfront which was just under $3500 for a sectional. For that I did not get delivery they were going to bring it to the warehouse and I had to pick it up there because the delivery was another $270 or something, yeah can you believe it? Anyway so they gave me a date which was about four weeks out and I anxiously waited and that date came and went in the next week I called and asked where my stuff was and they were kind of rude about it. They said the warehouse didn't get it and so they weren't able to for fill the order and I had to wait. I told him I was sick of waiting and I wanted to cancel And they tried to force me to use that $3500 to buy some other couch in their place which of course is not what I wanted and not what I came for. Long story short, they eventually refunded my money and I looked on the Internet found the same couch coming out of a store in New York City for $1000 less and they delivered it right to my house including taking off the plastic setting it up fluffing it up and making it look nice. Lesson learned, you can always get a better deal on the Internet.

I ordered a dining room set from the Ashley HomeStore in Jacksonville, FL in mid February. I was told I could have it delivered on March 6, 2019. I work during the week, so March 6 did not work for me. I asked if March 10, 2019 worked instead. That was a Sunday and they said yes. I received a call from Ashley HomeStore on March 8, 2019 while I was at work, so I could not answer my phone. Since I was not able to answer my phone on March 8, my item was not added to the delivery truck and I was told that instead of the March 10 delivery date, the soonest I could get my table is March 13, 2019. They also informed me that I will get another call to confirm my scheduling date. If I do not answer the call my item will be dropped from the delivery schedule again. At this rate I will never be able to get my item (which I was charged for) because I cannot answer my phone on weekdays while I am at work. I will never order from Ashley HomeStore again!
Let me start with if possible I would give this place negative stars! That’s how terrible my experience has been at Ashley Furniture of Gainesville. I purchased this $1600 mattress December of 2018 and it is already falling apart. After a month of sleeping on this mattress I noticed a ridge to start forming on the left side as seen in my pictures. I called Ashley to ask for a tech to come out and look at it and it took 1.5 months! Sleeping on a defective mattress for another 1.5 months is completely ridiculous. The tech finally came and did all his measurements and submitted his findings to Ashley and Ashley claims there is nothing wrong with this mattress. I recreated the test the tech did to measure the ridge. Approximately a one inch ridge on a three month old mattress. After a week no one notified me about my issue so I called Ashley Furniture. Their representative told me there is NOTHING wrong with this mattress from the manufacturer and that it is me sleeping on it causing the ridge! That is probably the most asinine rebuttal I have heard! A brand new $1600 mattress is already falling apart with one person who weighs 150 pounds sleeping on it?!?! Do yourself a favor and never patron this store. Good luck filing warranty claims because they will drag their feet and even when there is a problem they will flat out refuse it being their fault. Now I’m out $1600 plus the cost of a new mattress because this is unusable. Ashley Furniture should be ashamed of their terrible greedy practices.
Very disappointed in both Ashley Furniture in general, and Ashley Furniture Gainesville in particular. My wife and I went into the store and looked at both an expensive bed and a sectional sofa. We decided not to purchase that day and intended to wait a couple of weeks to purchase on either MLK or Presidents Day when we knew there would be a sale. I unfortunately found myself traveling during this time so I called the store to place an order over the phone since we knew exactly what items we wanted. They informed me that they cannot take any orders over the phone. What? This is 2019!!! Undeterred, I attempted to instead order it from the website. Wrong move again! After trying and trying I called Customer Service and they said I needed to go into the store to get it. Still undeterred, I went to an Ashley's store in Virginia where I was at the time. They were happy to see me, that is until they discovered that I needed it delivered to Florida. And what do you think they told me? That I needed to go into my local store in Gainesville! After about fours hours of this runaround I remembered that we had seen the exact same item being sold online by other retailers. I found the same sofa, with the Ashley Signature Series label, at numerous places and ended up choosing Alliance Furniture in TX. Even though Ashley's had 10% off for the President's Day sale, Alliance had it for over $650 less! Not knowing this company and being unable to see them face to face in tge event we have a future problem with it, I opted to purchase the 5-year insurance policy, plus get the White Glove in-home setup, and we still saved over $150 when compared to Ashley's sale price! While sad that I couldn't keep my money in the community, my recommendation is to shop around. If you go into their store, get the item number and look online before you buy. If they really want your business they need to get right on their prices AND make it easy for you to purchase from them! Just my two cents.... whatever that's worth these days.

Went in looking for a sectional, was pounced on like I was at a car lot as soon as I walked in. The sales person was using hard sales tactics trying to force me to buy right then and there. She was also rude and sarcastic to me.
DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!!!!! Well I'm a very unhappy customer, I got two recliners from there, had it finances thru them and they said I COULD ONLY GET IT IF I PAY FOR A REFUNDABLE PROTECTION PLAN. And if I don't use it in two years I would get my money back, I payed the chairs off with in three months, And is it the worst made furniture ever, One chair fell apart, and the other one is falling apart, I have been trying to get my refundable protection plan back, and now they tell me we don't give refunds we use it toward more furniture, WHY IN THE HELL WOULD I BUY MORE FROM THEM WHEN THIS OTHER SHITTY FURNITURE LASTED LESS THAN TWO YEARS, I have been trying for three months to get my money back, So the guy yesterday told me, FROM THE FINANCAL DEPARTMENT Well we get people to buy this to GET THE MONEY, I said I want my REFUNDABLE MONEY, He said his manager BRIAN said we don't do that, They only got one star I would give them a zero if that was an option, DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID AND BUY SOMETHING FROM THEM.

Staff was really friendly and helpful. Furniture is nice but can be pricey. We found a sectional that was on sale at a good price. We went about 3 or 4 times before we found something that we liked and at a good price. Every visit the store had different sales going on so if you are patient a good deal can be found. They also have a great upholstery care package that we also purchased along with our furniture.
I went into the store to buy a few bedroom pieces for my daughter. The salesman constantly tried to up-sale me. Then they charged a $200 delivery fee and added on a 5 year protection plan that I didn't ask for. The furniture wasn't available for 4 weeks. I found nearly identical furniture at a competitor for $350 less and with a much lower delivery fee. When I called to cancel my order I got put on hold 4 times and passed between a salesperson and a floor manger trying to persuade me to keep my order if they lowered the delivery fee and removed the protection plan. I kept getting the run around. The manger kept referring to me as "Hon" and finally and reluctantly cancelled my transaction and refunded my CC. I question the tactics and integrity of this business model.
AVOID AT ALL COST. There seems to be a recent trend with Ashley Furniture Gainesville if you look at the recent reviews. They may have been a good company in the past, but the customer service has gone downhill. Ashley Furniture Gainesville is the worst furniture store I have ever purchased from. I purchased a couch a few months ago and after the THIRD attempted delivery of the couch that was defective, I started to get extremely frustrated. They assured me they would get it fixed but at that point, I'm sure you can understand my reluctance. Rather than returning the couch altogether, one of the sale representatives told me I could still add insurance. In reliance on that statement, I added the insurance and eventually, everything seemed to be resolved. Months later I call to make an insurance claim and they told me the representative incorrectly told me insurance could go on the couch. This was after OVER A MONTH of being told by Michelle that the manager would "take care of it" and "do what she needed to do in the system" to get the insurance to apply to the couch. Had I know from the beginning that the insurance would not be applied to my couch I would have returned all of the furniture. I will be reporting Ashley Furniture to every single agency including the BBB and I urge all of you who are suffering from the unprofessional and questionable tactics of this company to do the same. Also, before the refund was issued I told Shelby specifically that I did not want a refund of the warranty but without my consent and authorization, they returned the warranty. A refund of the warranty means nothing to me if I have a defective couch.
Friendly employees who will help you find what you're looking for. Good selection of furniture. Unfortunately delivery personnel aren't as professional. Chairs were left in the rain and one was missing a part while the other was not put together wrong. It then took a 'repair' person over three weeks to see if the items could be fixed on site.
Courtney showed me exactly what I wanted. I was in and out with 2 new bedrooms sets
