Walking into Ashley HomeStore, I expected just another typical furniture-shopping experience—but what I received was beyond exceptional. A great furniture store should deliver three things: quality pieces, knowledgeable guidance, and genuine customer care. This location exceeded all three. From the moment I arrived, I felt respected, welcomed, and supported. They were absolutely amazing, especially when it came to working with my budget. Not once did the respect, kindness, or attentiveness change when it became clear that I wasn’t a “high roller.” In fact, the moment they showed me they could work with exactly what I had—it genuinely and literally brought me to tears. That level of humanity and understanding is rare. And if you go, please do yourself a favor and ask for Kayla, the Sales Associate who is truly a gem. Her expertise, communication, and gentle confidence shifted me from what I thought I wanted to what was truly the right fit for my home. Her presence made me feel cared for—like she genuinely wanted me to make the best purchase, not the biggest one. She has a gift for knowing when to hand-hold and when to step back and give you space to think. I honestly believe she could decorate your entire home in one visit! I also have to speak on Jordan, the Manager, because he was equally amazing. Not only was he supportive of his Sales Associate, but his attentiveness to the entire floor stood out. I watched him move gracefully from client to client, checking in, offering guidance, and ensuring everyone felt seen. His leadership was apparent in the way the team functioned—smoothly, confidently, and with genuine care. It’s rare to witness a manager who is both present and empowering, and Jordan embodied that perfectly. I can say with full sincerity that I will NEVER shop at another furniture store as long as I live in Gainesville, FL. I’ll be back in September—if not sooner—for a mattress. The gentleman who was our salesman (Courtney) knew exactly what we were looking for when we explained our needs. How often do you walk into any store today and find exactly what you were looking for. We went into Ashley's with the thoughts of looking not buying. We got a very good price and the color and fabric we were looking for and sitting on. SOLD! thank you Courtney and Ashley furniture. Now let's talk about the delivery that was not good. The two delivery men were terrific. Whoever runs the warehouse not so much. They sent two right hand backs for a right hand recliner and a left hand recliner. Then w When we called them They told us it was going to take 7 to 10 days before it would be fixed because they had to order the part. Monday morning delivery was on Saturday They said it would take until at least the following Saturday for delivery Unbeknownst To them that the driver had already told me he could deliver it on Tuesday Morning Well here it is now 3:00 in the afternoon on Tuesday afternoon and we still have no recliner Services not good.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Ashley Furniture Industries in Gainesville. I paid cash for a bed frame, dresser, mirror, and mattress. When my delivery arrived, they brought the WRONG items. Since then, I have been trying to get this fixed, but customer service has been completely unhelpful. The store does not answer their phones, and no one seems interested in correcting their mistake. When you pay your hard-earned money—especially in cash—you expect to receive the correct furniture and decent customer service. Instead, I’ve been left frustrated and ignored. I would strongly advise anyone considering shopping at this location to think twice. Based on my experience, you may not receive what you ordered, and resolving issues may be very difficult

They have great reviews on Google because when you are purchasing, they give you a good QR code and beg you to do the review. Go look at their reviews on yelp or some other platform for a more realistic idea of what you’re walking into in this store. Do not do business at this store. My wife and I worked with Imari Williams while purchasing multiple items for rental units. At the time of sale, everything was shown on a tablet and seemed straightforward, but once we reviewed the receipts and experienced delivery, serious problems became clear. Our order was split into multiple transactions, and each piece of furniture was broken into many separate line items, which made the billing extremely confusing. A protection plan that was discussed as being about $550 ended up totaling nearly $900 across the split transactions. This was not clearly explained at checkout. We also paid extra for “white glove” delivery, which we were told included assembly. On delivery day, before they said almost anything else the drivers stated they would not assemble anything and it was a common problem of Ashley furniture telling people their delivery would include assembly when it did not. Delivery timing did not match what was scheduled, only part of the order arrived, and we had to refuse some items due to the confusion and timing issues. When we contacted the store, Chase told us there was nothing they could do. No adjustments were offered for the delivery fee or the protection plan, even though the services we paid for were not provided. No furniture was ever assembled by Ashley. We did return a couple of items affected by the delivery issues, but the larger billing and service problems were never addressed. Overall, I would strongly caution others to carefully review every charge and transaction, especially protection plans and delivery fees, and not rely solely on what is shown verbally on the tablet. Once the sale is complete, getting help afterward appears to be impossible. If you have any issues at all, do not accept the delivery.

My wife and I stopped in to the store this past Friday afternoon. The store looked very nice and was merchandised well.There were only a couple shoppers besides us. We walked around and looked at living room sets for about 25 minutes. We were never greeted or approached by any of the store associates. We walked by the desk and several associates without even being acknowledged. It appeared that a couple of the associates were just staring at their phones, not paying attention to the customers walking around the store. I’ll admit we were not dressed very nice since we had been working on one of our rental properties. On the way out, I addressed the person behind the counter and asked if they worked on commission. He responded by saying a little bit. I basically said that I’m surprised because no one there seemed to want to earn any type of commission or to help us. He apologized and said that they were real busy and short staffed. Which certainly didn’t seem the case from our perspective.

This was our first time shopping at an Ashley Furniture store. Kayla Jorgensen politely welcomed us and introduced herself in a relaxed and friendly manner. She asked if she could assist us. There was no pressure; we felt very comfortable asking questions and allowing her to be our guide through the items available. She allowed us time to discuss and “try on” several different chairs, beds and mattresses. She would come check in on us from time to time but never did we feel pressured. We purchased a mattress, bed, and 4 counter stools and other items for our new home. Never once were we made to feel uncomfortable. She was very knowledgable about the items. My husband and I would shop there again and we highly recommend her for a great experience. We commend the manager of this store for the quality of staff.

Was promptly greeted by Bill. He let us know the Black Friday sales that they had right now. There was no high pressure sales. He let us browse the store to see what we wanted. We ultimately chose the Cadillac of sofas, as he put it. The only downfall is it will take 8 weeks for delivery.

I just called to speak to store manager for help and they were too busy to speak with me. Will never purchase there again

We thought we made a great decision when purchasing from this store until the new sectional showed up with mechanical issues. The store will not assist with getting this resolved and the customer service lady, Kayla, is rude and unwilling to allow us to speak to the store manager. We have called customer service and the store multiple times and keep getting the run around. We spent over $3k on the couch with an extended warranty and cannot even get it serviced! Don't waste your time or money! They are experts in the art of scamming!!!!!!!!

Happy with the furniture, however at the store level they misrepresented the Labor Day sale and had me buy an additional $1,500 to get both the 20% off AND free delivery. When I realized the next day that that was not what the flyer said I was spoken to rudely and given a quick, incorrect explanation. Had to end up going to the store to again to speak in person. Again spoken to rudely and told “if we take off the additional items the free delivery would be taken off” I said let’s do it and see Lo and behold, when the additional items were removed the free delivery did not change. No apology, no sorry for the inconvenience. Ashley has NO corporate customer service, all handled in store. Furniture selection great, but mis-understanding or mis-representation of policy was very disappointing. Further more, when the realized they were wrong there was no acknowledgment.

Beware of this store. They have “different” return policies based on whether you purchased online or went to a store. Specifically for mattresses they will not process a return if you purchase online, even if their description is not accurate and it’s giving you terrible pain, but they will if you purchase in person. Could not give this place a lower rating, would give zero stars if I could.

My in store experience was awesome Maryam you rock my problem with Ashley started after j set my date for delivery when I set my date it was confirmed in store 3 days later I get a text saying my furniture would be delivered on another date I immediately go back to the store Maryam verify the date I set in store ok I get a call from someone from delivery or something confirming the date me and Maryam set ok at this point I'm good until 2 days later they text me changing the date again now I'm pissed cause i had to take off work to get my furniture that or have a empty living room for almost 2 months, doesn't stop there I was informed my first bill would be due 30 to 45 days after I get my furniture me I always go with the sooner so in 30 days id be ready for first payment so explain why my bill came 20 days after I got my furniture of course it was late because I was assuming just what I was told 30 to 45 days,then they give you no kind of grace period the day it's due you best pay it or suffer the $40 late fee long story short if you not flat out purchasing the furniture in full right there in the store Ashleys is not a furniture store I recommend good ppl working for a bad business Maryam you was the best the nightmare started after y'all did you all's part

The experience I’ve had with Ashley Furniture has been nothing short of appalling. Our couch was delivered damaged and stained with grease, an unforgivable offense for a purchase exceeding $3,000. I immediately contacted the store, only to be met with empty platitudes from the General Manager, Jordan Smith, who feigned concern merely to protect his “metrics” and avoid a chargeback. He assured me he was “handling it personally," until those metrics were safe, at which point he washed his hands of responsibility and told us to contact customer service. What followed was a bureaucratic nightmare masquerading as a support process. My fiancée, already stressed from our relocation for work, was treated so dismissively that she was brought to tears. I had to intervene personally, and even then, every step was a fight. Now, insult is added to injury as we’re told we must wait for a technician to “inspect” the damage and decide if it qualifies for a replacement, as if the greasy handprints and dents somehow need expert verification. The entire ordeal has been a masterclass in unprofessional incompetence. For a company that charges premium prices, Ashley Furniture delivers bargain-bin accountability. If this level of negligence and disregard for customers occurred in my organization, heads would roll. Take my advice: spend your money anywhere else.

WOW! Visited the store to find "the" perfect reclining sofa. Went to 10+ stores in Gainesville & Jacksonville to see other sofas. Days later, came back to buy "that" perfect sofa we first saw here. Courtenay, Maryam & Jordan (manager) were super attentive, polite, knowledgeable, personable and very pleasant, without being pushy. Really appreciate their time and expertise as we made the decision. A+++

Perie deserves a raise! 🙌🏼 I went to Ashley’s to just browse around and see furniture that I would potentially want to buy. Katelyn was the first to assist me when I went in store. She was very attentive and sweet. Did not try to push a sale on us which was great. I really am not a fan of that. She offered to make a list of things that we loved which was great. The next day I received the list in my email and one of the items I was eyeing had dropped in price! I immediately called and asked for Katelyn but another sales person helped me out. She was not rude but she was not super nice either. She told me that after talking to her manager she could never approve that price on the item because it was essentially “90% off”. She could have been much nicer in the way she said it but oh well. I then told her thank you but I would have to think about it. I would only buy it right away if the price in the email was correct. I was honestly disappointed because I really loved the item. The next day I got a call from Perie saying she could honor the price in the email and give me the item! I was so excited and went the next day to buy it. Perie helped me out and she was so sweet! She made sure I got help loading the items. Everything went so smoothly and I got an amazing price! I will be going back to see Perie for the rest of my furniture. 😊

UPDATE: watch out!!! They will show you a really nice waterproof mattress pad that’s cooling and quilted, then charge and send you a basic one that is WAY over priced. I wish we had walked out of the store with the mattress pad instead. Tried filing a claim but because they charged and sent us for the basic one (charged $250 for it!!) I have no proof I was shown a nice quilted one. The cover we got shows like $150 online and we paid 250… Thanks. I called the store asking to speak with a manger they were in a meeting and I was told I would get a call back but never got a call. Just kept getting sent the same over priced basic waterproof one. Bill and Courtenay sold us the bed. Just pay attention so the same thing doesn’t happen to you. Feels like a car dealership. Love my bed though….

The store manager Chelsea really cares. That said, be careful. If something goes wrong you have to go through their national customer service, which is comically bad. They sent a mattress to the wrong address, then it was the wrong mattress, then it was IMPOSSIBLE to get someone on the phone and even harder to actually fix the order. Again, the store manager finally called to fix the issue. The hard part was contacting the store in the first place...

After walking around and not seeing it I approached the counter to ask for help and the person I talked to wasn’t apart of the sales team so she turned around and asked the THREE sales people that were just sitting there and before she could even ask them to help one of them snapped and said they were “busy” while playing on their phones and chitchatting it up. While in store the girl that helped me told me that they only deliver to my area on Saturdays & that they could have my couch to me July 19th or July 12th was the earliest delivery date that they currently have. I told her that the July 12th delivery date would be great bc i could have someone at my house being that i work. Cool. July 12th comes along i dont hear from them, so i call and they tell me that they’re still anticpating my delivery for the day or July 19th at the latest! Got it! I set my mind on the 19th just so i wouldnt be upset. Mid day July 19th comes around, STILL NO DELIVERY! So i call too see what the issue is now & the sales manager tells me that my payment was not attached to my order so the earliest they could have my couch to me is August 2nd.

My fiancé and I were on the hunt for a new couch. As soon as we walked in, Kayla greeted us with a warm smile and immediately helped us with what we were looking for. Kayla was very professional and insightful and made the financing process a breeze!

Do not buy from Ashley Furniture. I bought a dresser for our son’s nursery and had it delivered/assembled. They did not put the dresser together correctly. One of the legs to the dresser was broken and was just put underneath the dresser to hold it up but wasn’t screwed in. The dresser could have fell over if I didn’t notice. The delivery crew knew the situation and rushed me to sign the delivery paper and they left before I could inspect the dresser and noticed the wobbly leg. I called the store and they said I had to call “corporate.” I called them and told them the situation and they said they would send someone out the same day. The whole day goes by and no one comes to fix the dresser. I ended up going to Lowe’s to buy a screw to fix the dresser myself. I called “corporate” back and I demanded a refund for the assembly and part of the dresser and they put in the claim and said I would hear back in 72 hours. Days go by and I hear nothing, I call corporate back and they said they have no idea what I’m talking about and that there is no claim. I explain the situation again and they file another claim for the refund. Here it is two weeks later and have heard nothing from anyone. I have gotten no where with this situation. No one has contacted us and apologized for the situation or offered any assistance with the dresser. Talking to “corporate” is like talking to a brick wall in India. Save your time and money and buy from somewhere else.

We walked in, not expecting to find something we liked, and stumbled on a whole living room set that was a floor model and was exceptionally reasonably priced. The only person who offered to help us was a gentleman named. Courtenay. We would work with him again in the future, but the rest of the sales people who are on the floor that day (two young women and a young gentleman) ignored us. However, Courtenay was outstanding from showing us the furniture and describing it, to helping us when we came to pick it up.

Having spent a Saturday finding the perfect chair at Ashley's, I am extremely disappointed that I ended up having to cancel my order after repeated fails on their part. While I loved the chair, I did not love the experience. We'd all agree that mistakes happen. I can appreciate an honest mistake as much as the next person. But once the mistake happens, be proactive to make sure everything else runs smoothly. There was a problem with my original receipt printing in store, so they had to reprint it. I suspect that reprint is where the troubles began. I called the delivery team on Tuesday to confirm my Wednesday order and they stated my order was on hold, as they showed a balance owned. You would think if you see a delivery on hold status, someone would have called and proactively checked on that. But nope, I had to. I was then told I needed to call the store. I did that and was promised a manager would call me in 10 minutes. I ended up calling her back 40 minutes later. Manager couldn't get my order reset for Wednesday but got set for Thursday. Wouldn't you know it, delivery folks chose a crazy delivery window. When I called to see if that could be changed to earlier in that day, I was told they have no control over that, that the delivery folks pick the time best. As a person who was inconvenienced due to no fault of my own, you'd think some type of priority or concession would have been afforded, but nope, just an offer of a different day, and of course another day that was not convenient. I had such high hopes for this interaction, especially after the salesperson was so kind and professional. It is very unfortunate that a good start, soured really quickly. The 2 stars are only because of the salesperson, otherwise would have gone lower. If you have time to waste, give them a try. If not, shop somewhere else.

Really disappointing experience. My wife and I were super excited to pick up our sofa we got on clearance. It was a floor item in pretty perfect condition. We bought it 6 days before the date of this review under the expectation that we were responsible for pickup, but that they would remove it from the floor immediately and load it. We agreed to do it on Friday and that I would leave work an hour early to make their strict 10-4 loading policy work. Turns out when we called in to confirm pickup, that they had no one to load it. Ok, I thought, maybe the sales agents would be helpful. Nope. I was working under the assumption that it was packed up in the warehouse ready to go. Turns out, it was still on the floor, still being used by everyone who came in, testing it out, farting around on it as if it was an option for them for 6 days. We were told by the manager on staff that they could not help us pack it up, or move it. This store was packed so completely that there was no way we could fit these sectionals through all of the other floor items ourselves. We were told to come back Monday, but honestly, given the unreliability shown thus far we cancelled. I feel bad for the rep who lost the sale because he has a revenue target of $45,000 to get commission. But no one on his team, nor the manager, even bothered to try to save the sale. These kids simply did not care. I don’t recommend coming to this location.

The truck drivers decided my couch was too heavy to get it into my house, they didn't even try it so they called customer service and they refused to refund the money for delivery.

I recently visited Ashley Furniture in Gainesville to purchase a sofa, and overall, my experience was a mixed bag. Positives: The sales staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable without being pushy, which I really appreciated. They gave me plenty of time to browse and try out different options without pressure. The store itself has a large selection with reasonable prices, including some special buy deals that were particularly attractive, that’s actually what I ended up purchasing. Negatives: Unfortunately, there were a few red flags. I noticed that all the sales associates seemed to be under a lot of pressure from management, which tracks their closing ratios through an automated system counting customers as they enter. Because of this, I saw multiple salespeople asking customers (including me) to use a side door when returning to avoid being tracked as a new visit. This felt manipulative and unnecessary. Then, when I decided to purchase my sofa, I was informed of a $99 delivery fee, which I wanted to decline since I preferred to pick up the furniture myself. However, I was told the only way to waive the fee was to drive two hours to Tampa to pick it up at the warehouse. This seemed unreasonable, why shouldn’t I be able to pick up my purchase at the store I visited? Additionally, the fine print in the terms and conditions states that if you pick up from the warehouse, you waive your right to return the product or seek any recourse if it’s damaged. That means you’d need to fully unpack and inspect everything on-site, which is completely impractical. This policy comes across as shady and unfair to customers. Bottom Line: I love the sofa I picked out, but my experience left me feeling uneasy about the store’s policies. Since my couch won’t be ready for a few weeks, I’ll be keeping my options open, and if I find a better deal with a more customer-friendly business model, I won’t hesitate to cancel my order. I hope Ashley Furniture reconsiders these questionable practices because their selection and sales team are great, but the unnecessary pressures and restrictive policies make the buying experience less enjoyable.

My mom and I were shopping for a chair for our room, and one of the employees, Imari, was really helpful with explaining delivery fees and times, prices, furniture collections and more. She made the process very easy and created a cart for us right away to help us when we were still deciding on chairs/furniture. Additionally, I appreciated how she wasn’t pushy, which can sometimes make things stressful, but understood our choices if we changed our minds. I personally didn’t have many other experiences with the other employees (simply because I wasn’t there for a lot), but I would recommend Imari if anyone needs help.

We went in to purchase and accent chair - and were given assurances that it was in stock and would be delivered Saturday. Recieved a call stating that it was not in stock and would not be delivered until 6 days later. We are canceling our order and will not business with them again.

My wife and I were looking for patio furniture after trying a few different stores. We were able to find exactly what we were looking for in our price range. The salesperson, Jordan, was very helpful and knowledgeable. The process was quick and easy. I would recommend this store to others and we are likely to return.

We enjoy going to Ashley Furniture. The furniture is solidly built and lasts. Our last sectional was purchased in 2017, and is still in great shape. Our salesperson was attentive and educated on products which helped make our purchase decision easier.

We had a great experience today with Kaitlin. We told her what we needed and she gave us some great options. We decided on a great living room set at a great price. Looking forward to picking it up next week. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone looking for really good customer service.

Sales people are very helpful UP UNTIL AFTER SALES COMPLETION. After that, you’re on your own. Complaints: 1) they charge $200 for delivery. But if you wanna pick it up yourself, you can certainly drive down to Bradenton. I WISH I DID but not because of the extra delivery fee. Read below. 2) if your item is on back order, they will NOT deliver partial order, even if the item is still NOT available according to the “expected time” given at time of completion of sale. NO EXCEPTIONS, period! 3) if you dare complain to the rep or store manager by phone, they will only hang up on you and act like the call was dropped. AND THE FINAL STRAW, the delivery drivers were by far the worse. While 1 was inside arranging the furniture, the other is inconspicuously outside trying to hide evidence of broken lights along the driveway which they drove over. 3 out of the 6 broken! See pictures. And they chipped the paint off the brick at the front door entrance. I wouldn’t expect Ashley to admit to wrongdoing. Especially if the drivers take on the same moral approach as the store manager.

When I made my selection the salesman approached. He didn’t listen to what configuration of sofa I wanted. That was an issue and a waste of time. I stated I wanted to pay for cash for it. He ignored that. Then he tried to play the ‘old friends’ angle, which was not amusing or wanted. After several rounds of discussing unwanted financing, I finally agreed only to learn it was a credit card. When I protested, the salesman said the couch would be the same price snd that I could pay cash. Needless to say, I was not at all happy with this utter waste of time. I only hope the sofa is better than the sales experience.

After ordering furniture and it just barely not fitting (should’ve double checked measurements), we returned two of the four pieces and were prompted to get a credit. After two and a half weeks of not receiving said credit, we spoke with corporate who went on to communicate with this local store and advised me that my credit has now been processed. After hearing this, I contacted the store asking why it took them this long to even submit a credit request in-store since delivery and the store over the phone the day of delivery confirmed the returned items and credit was to be processed along with the amount credited. Their response was “we don’t really know why it didn’t get credited” and the manager I was speaking to was extremely short with me and seemed irritated at me calling. Definitely one of the top 5 worst customer service experiences I’ve encountered.

Damar, provided great service, patience and outstanding professionalism. He was also very knowledgeable of the product. However, if he was not sure of any questions I asked regarding the product, he was humble enough to ask another associate or his supervisor, which says a lot about his character and personality. I assure, you would not be disappointed in asking for Sales Associate Damar. Great job and thanks again for your assistance, Damar!

First off, Ashley Furniture proved LESS EXPENSIVE than ANY of the local discount furniture stores-- KNOW THAT, FULL STOP! Next FIND PAUL & SHANICE! Now to the rest of my experience, Paul and Shanice are beyond a G-d send(s)! From telephone calls to sms messaging, they were nothing short of SPECTACULAR. Where the deliveries had multiple issues of rescheduling, ALL members of the local Store Team worked with us (me and my 80 yr. old disabled Korean veteran flatmate) to see us through the delays. My only word of caution would speak to after purchase delays. Beyond that, all in all, a professional experience. Ashley Customer Service Team is lacking as to true problem solving skills and would be an open training opportunity, moving forward. That and their remote call-in service is awkward and time consuming-- Ashley Corporate Team -- DO BETTER! Overall, while I'm still awaiting deliveries I have the utmost faith in the Delivery and Store Teams to see us through. Thank you! -w

My husband, granddaughter and I visited the Gainesville, Florida store today. We were greeted by a lovely young woman named Kayla Jergenson. She was immediately very helpful and informed us where the items we were interested in were located. She allowed us time to look around for a while and then found us to answer any questions we might have and help us look up availability of what we needed. Kayla was extremely helpful and never pushy, she helped without making us feel pressured. We want to express that she treated us with great kindness and patience. She never made us feel that any questions we had were an inconvenience. Today’s experience was wonderful and we will be planning to return to check out some more items. We were helped by several other employees such as the manager who was also very nice and personable. Having such outstanding employees means a lot to us, at our age, we’re old school, we really appreciate customer service, and their’s was excellent.

When I called the store to get help, I believe I got someone new or not well trained. Got a call the following day from someone trying to make it right and I appreciate that. Initially went to a different furniture store, but was given the run around and wasn't going to get the couch I wanted for almost 2 months. Ashley furniture had the couch I wanted and it was available for delivery within the week. Unfortunately they ordered the wrong color which I didn't realize until they delivered it. However, customer service was great and Kayla sorted the issue and has the correct color ordered and scheduled for delivery within a week.

I found some wonderful patio furniture thanks to my salesperson Kayleigh. A great deal for the end of the season. Today it was delivered, set up, and cleaned up in about 20 minutes. It really looks great! I made a good choice with Ashley.

I would do 0 star but this will not let me. First of all, we spent almost 3k in the store on a bed and couch. That's not the bad part. We had to load the bed ourselves ( because it was on clearance) which is not that big of deal but still. We were to have a couch delivered the Friday after we bought it and the delivery people went to the wrong address and and showed up a 1/2 hour before the window of delivery. (1230-430).We tried for 3 days to get a time nailed down due to another appointment in the morning that could not be rescheduled. We got the run around. The morning of said delivery we get a text notification they are 5 mins from our house. We spend the next 30 mins on the phone trying to get a later time in the day and given the run around. Get out of said appointment and get a phone call from Ashley Homestore and explain what happend and was asked if someone could be home by 130pm. Absolutely, bust butt to get across town only to get a call saying oh sorry that's not going to work the truck is too far away now. Get home and look at camera and no delivery truck was ever here!!!!!!!So, I call customer service and am told the couch and ottoman could be delivered later this afternoon,salesperson was supposed to call me back and confirm. Call never came.So,we call. Assistant store manager answers we explain what happened and get put on hold for another associate to pick up and tell us the truck is in route back to warehouse. A request for delivery Saturday with no guarantees. We even offered to pick up from store.yeah not a option it has to be delivered. So we are now at the mercy of Ashley delivery. What happened to customer service???? We work EMS and have wonky schedules so we have to do a lot on our off days. I promise if I had the day sit home the couch would not have been here until the end of the window. Absolutely a shame that customer service is lost.

The representative was attentive when going to the store, the sales process was very good, but what bothered me was the home delivery staff, they made a small hole in the back of the bed. and they left me almost all the screws loose on the bed, especially the bars that cross from one end to the other, they didn't put screws on some sides, and they hit the back of the bed, and I called and they gave me attention for the complaint, but they didn't solve the problem, they tried to cover up the small cracked area with paint, that's crap, a botch, those who assembled the bed and those who delivered it have no ethics in their work, they have no morals when doing their job, because at least they should have reported that they hit the bed in a corner of the back, AND LASTLY THE COMPANY WAS NEGLIGENT, BECAUSE INSTEAD OF CHANGING THE BACK OF THE BED, WHAT THEY DID WAS THEY TRY TO COVER IT, AT LEAST THEY SHOULD HAVE GIVE ME A DISCOUNT BUT THEY DIDN'T THAT IS THE COMPANY'S ETHICS! YES YES YOU BUY A NEW CAR WOULD YOU ACCEPT IT WITH A SCRATCH IN THE PAINT OR WITH A DEFECT WITHOUT THE COMPANY FIRST OFFERING YOU A DISCOUNT FOR THE DAMAGE? IT IS SUPPOSED THAT WHEN A CUSTOMER BUYS SOMETHING NEW IT IS NEW AND WITHOUT ANY DEFECT, 2 THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT EVEN IF HE IS NOT, SECOND THIS IS THE LAST BED I BOUGHT AT ASLEY, 3 I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE IN MY FAMILY OR ACQUAINTANCES, THEY CHARGE ME LIKE $200 dollars for delivery which is only about 7 miles from my house, and to top it off they are inexperienced and without ethics and without morals in their work, they assemble the bed leaving loose legs, I recommend that you yourself when you buy something look for a vehicle or a truck and go to pick up, so that bad times are avoided, which in the end will not give them a good solution, I say this not with the intention of affecting anyone but so that they are more professional when making a delivery or assembly, and so that the company does not think only about the money that goes into their pockets but so that the customer comes first in everything.

Very friendly salesman, Mr. Courtenay Gillard, was extremely helpful. He offered me help but never overstepped or pressured me for a sale. The shopping experience was really easy and fast. I sat on every sofa in the store, and when I chose the one, Mr Gillard made the purchase fast and professional. Great, beautiful store! I will never do business with them again. Sold me on an extended warranty for my couch to protect my investment. Was told "you can stick a knife in the cushion and it will be covered" Went to file a claim and it was not covered. Please don't buy any warranties from these scam artists

The delivery was scheduled in three days. I am thrilled. Can’t wait to receive my new furniture.

Less than a year ago, went to buy a couch at Ashley. Had to deal with the most condescending salesman who had no respect for women. I for sure thought he would have been let go by now. But no. I made the mistake and went back to the store to buy a mattress this past Sunday. He was still there. I thought it would be OK as the manager seemed concerned about my last experience and assured me I would have a better one this time. So I worked with a different salesperson and a manager to buy a mattress. Please note... I HAD to buy a $200 mattress cover in order to get the 120 night in home trial of the mattress. Yesterday, the mattress was to arrive. The salesperson and manager ordered me the WRONG mattress and DID NOT note that the old mattress was supposed to be removed. I called to speak to a manager and was treated horribly. They didn't want to do anything to make things right. Just told me to refuse the delivery and I would get a refund. This morning, I get a call from Ashley to see how my delivery went. This person said the order was never cancelled so she would have to initiate the request to cancel. I have to wait 3 days for someone to approve the cancellation and then another 3-7 days to get my refund unless I am willing to go back to the store to process the refund there. NO THANK YOU! I'll dispute with my credit card in a couple of weeks if I don't get my refund. Then, just an hour ago... another person from Ashley called to see how my delivery went. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! I spent a half hour with the other person earlier this morning to get the thing cancelled. They didn't even look at my account before calling to see that the order was being in the process to be cancelled. I just hung up on her. I can't deal with this company any longer. Last night, I went to Mattress Firm on W. Newberry Road. What a difference!!! I worked with Mavity at the store. She gave me free delivery, free removal of the old mattress and over $400 of store credit for pillows or whatever I wanted. Also, I DID NOT have to buy their mattress cover to get the same 120 free in home trial like I did at Ashley. Mavity went above and beyond and was extremely competent and knowledgeable. She was empowered by her manager to give me discounts and deals to make me happy, something Ashley does not do with their employees. She never once had to get a manager to help her do anything. Her goal was to give me a better deal and experience than I had with Ashley furniture. I get the mattress tomorrow, Friday. I'll update my review if this order also goes sour, but I am pretty confident all will be perfect. Bottom line... shop anywhere else but Ashley Furniture. They don't empower their employees to make the extra effort to create happy customers. And the managers just don't care about their customers.

Recently moved and was a little overwhelmed by all the things I needed to get done. The sales associate at the Ashley Store, Courtenay, welcomed me as soon as I walked in the door, listened to my wants, and showed me around the store to find items! You can’t go wrong shopping here!
