Tamara is an EXCEPTIONAL salesperson! She knocked it out of the park! We loved her personality and service! We were looking for some furniture, she showed us all the options based on what we were looking for and found it! Big shoutout to Tamara!
⭐️⭐️⭐️ — And the ONLY reason this isn’t 0 stars is Tamara Perez. We actually walked into Ashley Furniture already sold on furniture from Rooms To Go across the street. We were basically just going in to look around. Then Tamara Perez approached us—and she did NOT let us go! 😂 This woman could sell ice to an Eskimo. She was absolutely amazing: personable, knowledgeable, funny, attentive, and genuinely great at what she does. Somehow, we went from “we’re just looking” to purchasing a full dining room set AND a full sectional. That alone should tell you how good Tamara is at her job. Unfortunately, what happened afterward completely changed the feeling of what had otherwise been an amazing experience. After finishing everything with Tamara, including our financing, we decided to walk around the second floor for a few minutes. We specifically wanted to browse by ourselves. We thanked Tamara, said goodbye, and told her we would call her if we needed anything else. As we were coming back downstairs, we saw this man in a red shirt speaking extremely loudly to Tamara about “unprofessionalism.” Excuse me??? What exactly does this man know about professionalism while practically yelling at an employee in the middle of an elegant furniture store, where customers can clearly hear and see everything happening? We asked Tamara what happened, and to her credit, she remained professional and did not tell us. From what we could gather, however, the issue seemed to be related to her leaving us alone for those few minutes—which is literally WHAT WE ASKED HER TO DO. We are adults. We had already made our purchase. We simply wanted to walk around without someone following us. The whole situation was disrespectful, uncomfortable, disgusting, and incredibly distasteful. If management had an issue with an employee, there are a hundred professional ways to address it privately. Speaking to someone like that where customers can witness it is certainly not one of them. The irony of watching someone loudly lecture another person about “professionalism” while behaving that way was unbelievable. Tamara deserves FIVE STARS. She is the reason Ashley got our business instead of Rooms To Go, and she turned two people who were already planning to buy somewhere else into customers who purchased an entire dining set and sectional. The experience at the end? ZERO stars. If it weren’t for Tamara, that is exactly what this review would have been.
