Would be nice if all retailers would realize the value that Baby Boomers give their stores. We still have control over a great deal of the wealth floating around, and it would behoove Ashley and other like minded businesses to HIRE folks who relate to we Boomers. Seems like all that's left to wait on us are Millennials', very few Gen Z, and hardly any other Boomers.
Karon was a big help. We were looking for a small white dresser, although they didn't have one in the store that would fit our area Karen showed us one online we could check out. I did find an open storage unit and she checked us out quickly. It should be here next week, I can't wait to put it together.
Sales person and manager very helpful. We shopped locally and then ordered everything over the phone and set delivery for our new home in a different state. A few hiccups with the online link to pay, but the manager was very patient and worked through the problem. Would recommend this store.

The Employees at this store are very Pushy & down right Rude. Be prepared to have someone hound over you while you are browsing. I recommend going elsewhere as I'm sure you will be treated better.DB responded to my Review but made it so I couldn't Reply to their Reply. Of course they did & told me to Email them. I will not say what I have to say in a Email. That is a Good way for them to try to Cover for the way they treat Customers. I will say what I need to in a Review as I did above. That way the Public can be made aware How a person is Treated at this Store.

Delivery issues…Make sure you ask if they will take your old mattress away. They did not disclose that if old mattress has any stains they wouldn’t remove!! Local store said there was nothing they could do.

Karon helped us find what we were looking for immediately as we walked thru automated doors,wasn't really wanting a salesperson following(which Karon did not do,immediately introduced herself and asked what we were interested in then gave space to free roam)..But,she was just too awesome and friendly I wanted her around... She pointed us to a bed frame that was PERFECT(as my grandson always says),very sturdy built she added and it absolutely was the nest choice... Kim was outstanding from the moment we walked through the door!! No pushy sales person, just straight up honest and super personable! As the sale proceeded we met the rest of the staff. Visited the store upon opening this morning with my elderly step mom in tow, as she was wanting to purchase a new mattress and bed frame she had seen online. We were greeted by a friendly lady named Karon whom was very pleasent and helpful. She listened to my step mom and quickly assisted her in finding the appropriete mattress and frame in the price bracket that was in her budget. Karon led us through the process and took the time to show her some different foam mattereses, there was absolutly no pressure sales or anything resembling an upsale push. All the ladies in the office were very friendly genuine people. Very positive experience!

The Ashley store in Inverness is clean, organized and presents a good sampling of their furniture offerings. For items not in the store, there is a convenient and detailed online description, or you can choose to travel to a store that has your item in stock for viewing. We dealt with Kim and Karen and both ladies were professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. We're looking forward to delivery of our furniture.
Bought a couch from this location with a warranty & cleaning “perk”. When it came time for them to clean the couch, they dragged their feet & refused to honor the policy. To shut us up, they provided $300 worth of gift cards on a future purchase. We came in today to utilize those gift cards and the manager said they won’t honor them because it was over 12 months ago. They NEVER provided us with an expiration date. Had they provided an expiration date, I would have used the gift cards within the time frame. Shady & unprofessional to not honor the gift cards that they provided for not honoring their own policies in the first place. Would not recommend this place unless you want to pay for things that they’ll find a loophole on so they don’t have to honor their own policies. The manager just stated that she’s done her “due diligence” by checking the notes, but admitted that there was no expiration date provided to us, or in the notes. Awful customer service & untrustworthy policies.

We have been buying our furniture from Ashley for many years in multiple states. We recently moved into a furnished house that had a dining room table that was way too big. We went to our local Ashley store to see what we could find, We found the perfect table, a round table with a single extension that allows 4 to 6 to sig comfortably. The entire staff at Ashley treated us like friends. We placed our order on a Saturday and the table and chairs were delivered on Wednesday. The furniture was unpacked and assembled quickly and efficiently. No damage to the new furniture or anything else. We enjoyed the experience from Start to Finish.

Bought swivel chair for $500. Only 1 girl was working while 3 others sat at computers. Had to wait for the one working the floor. Pricey. I thought $99 was a little high for delivery fee. Delivery people would not move my original chair to another room. Hopefully will get a few good years out of it.

We had a store credit for defective sofas so we went in to choose replacements. Everyone in the store was extremely friendly and helpful even though we were not spending any money - just using store credits. Casey was our salesperson and we couldn't have asked for a more personable individual. Even though we dealt mainly with Casey, everyone in the store was great! I would definitely recommend this store when buying furniture.

We went into the Ashley store in Inverness to look for a couch and dining set. We were met at the door by a very sweet young woman named Ruby. She he was very pleasant and asked us a lot of questions so she knew exactly what we were looking for. She showed us several sets and was very informative when we asked questions. She was patient and took her time with us. Apparently, Ruby was new, we never would’ve guessed, so she did have to get her manager, Robin, to help at times and she was great too! In fact, they all seem like a great group and we enjoyed talking with Kim as well! We are excited to receive our furniture In an in a couple of weeks and we highly recommend this store in Inverness!
The sales person was very helpful she also backed off and let me take my time and let me ask about 10,000 questions and go back and forth between things I had looked at to clarify what I couldn't remember because I was trying to decide between a few different combinations. Ruby was great. She didn’t hover over my husband and I but when I needed to ask her a question, she was close by so I didn’t have to search her out. We took pictures of the rugs so that we could look at them almost side by side. She provided information regarding the rugs and sofas that we were comparing. I purchased a new home and needed several pieces of furniture to complete the house. We found everything there. The sales associate guided us through the flexibility of purchasing through Ashley and the easy payment options. Everything is being delivered and assembled in 5 days of purchase. I went in to look at a couple of particular pieces of furniture. The sales girl couldn't get her iPad to work because of bad wifi . I was there over 20 minutes trying to get a price on premium shipping . I'll just go someplace else who is better equipped to help customers..

Awful. Bought from Ashley furniture many times before moving to FL. Went to the Inverness location a couple years ago and the staff was ignores you. Like pulling teeth to get someone to help you. That time I went home and ordered furniture for the living room and family room online. Flash forward to now, went to look at new bedroom furniture and again had difficulty not just getting help but even acknowledged by the staff sitting at the counter. Finally got someone to help and they put everything together on an order. I needed to go home that evening and make sure everything would fit with measurements and i came back the next day to pay for everything and finish the order. Both the sales girl and manager that i had talked to the night before were there along with two other employees that worked the previous day. Guess what? Same thing happened. Not only did I not get someone greet or acknowledge me as I'm standing in front of them but when i did get the same sales girl and manager to help me, they didn't remember me or knew that we were working on an order. Keep in mind, both times the store had very few customers in it and also the mattress that i purchased was the most expensive in the store so to not remember someone that you saw less than 24 hours previously who was dropping $8k on one bedroom set just makes a customer feel not very valued. I like Ashley Furniture but this location needs a complete staffing overhaul. How hard is it to say "hi, is there something i can help you with?"

Don’t ask for Josh, worst shopping experience I’ve ever had, furniture didn’t fit, he slapped on the warranty without asking, and wouldn’t return my calls for 6 days before the furniture arrived. Delivery team knocked over an expensive piece of art upon delivery. Seemed rushed and won’t take your old couch like Rooms to Go. Even spoke with store manager, no help. Buyers beware!!!

Very nice and helpful the people where great to buy from. However the lift chair I bought my mom doesn't work they won't bring a new chair we have to wait for a repair man to try and fix the chair even though it never worked.if a product doesn't work when delivered they should send a new one that actually works as it should.

Absolutely the worst furniture company they do not take care of anything that breaks it you buy out right like i did. They wanted to exchange my sectional for something of lesser value and also did not tell me they were picking up my old broken sectional so therefore I did not receive the new set I picked out due to lack of cummincation on there end they are not professional at all we lost 2 grand out of these people and will not ever buy from them again

the sales rep from the store was great steve . On my delivery the table came damaged and missing parts. Two chairs were damaged and cracked. I was told immediately from the delivery team representative that they would come later today or tomorrow. I followed up the same day to find out my status and was told again by a lady named Jami that all was good. Next day came. No one showed. I called and they pushed me out 4days. This is unacceptable. If my new stuff comes damaged, I'm done with this company for ever.

We purchased a considerable amount of furniture for our new home back in February/March/April. The staff at the local store in Inverness were very nice and professional. Our furniture was delivered in stages just prior to our new home being completed. We have had NUMEROUS repairs to most of the items, especially the Larkinhurst couch (which is now fine) and the matching rocker recliners. We have had the repair technician (Paul) come out 4 times to address the issue with the chair that has already had the mechanism replaced but is still not right. There are staples that stick out on both sides of the cushion and arm areas that have already torn open a relatives skin and caused bleeding. Despite Paul stating the "there is definitely something wrong with it but I just can't see where and it's not up to me", we have had no luck in dealing with Ashley Furniture for a replacement. When I questioned the Customer Service personnel about this, I was told that they would only replace an item within the 72 hour window after delivery and as far as they can see "it meets their manufacturing standards." The chair is under the extended warranty but that is quite a joke to even purchase since it does not cover a manufacturing issue. Ashley will not stand behind it's product so we are now stuck with a chair that still has tags on it and no one will sit in. (It's like sitting on metal and wood and the sound it makes when you move is horrible....) I will not purchase anything else from Ashley Furniture and neither will my family and most of our friends. (Word of mouth is strong.) Once our balance is paid off with them, we are closing the account. The chairs unfortunately are being given away and replaced with something that is manufactured better and from a company who stands behind their products.

The team at Inverness is really wonderful and patient. I am trying to furnish a home with some space challenges. Also had a little mixup with some furniture that was delivered. If there is a problem, they seem very willing to make it right. John has been my go-to guy and is very helpful, as well as Barb and Alexis. Great advice on mixing and matching pieces. I’m thrilled to have found someone who will work with me help me get my home furnished in a timely manner. Beautiful furniture and nice selections. I’ll be back!!
Waited weeks for delivery and installation. Boxes were missing the hardware so they were unable to install. Waited more weeks for another appointment today and still no hardware was brought. Installer said it was mailed. Now it will be weeks again.... Worst service ever!!#
I purchased a high priced mattress on Sunday. Was told by the Salesman, John that the price was regularly $5129 but for 4th of July special discount "Only" $4629 but we will give you another $300 off. Then I asked if they would make a deal to combine the mattress with a set of outdoor furniture which had a retail price of $1400. I offered them $1000 plus the $4300 for the mattress. Equals $5300 plus tax and shipping. The store agreed but then John said he couldn't lower the price of the mattress but he would reduce the Shipping cost from $499 to $99 saving me $400. When I discussed shipping with him earlier he said it was $100, now it moved up to $500 but they are going to give me a "deal" and reduce it to $100. Ten minutes later he changed his story saying that the Shipping cost were $399 and reducing it to $100 saved me the $300. They played me as the final bill came to $6,368 including $360 of sales tax. So, $4600 mattress plus $1400 outdoor furniture equals $6000 plus tax of $360 = $6,360 does not equal $4300 plus $1000 plus $100 delivery plus tax of $342 equals $5,742 which is $626 less than the $6368 that they charged me.

Went here to shop and buy local, looking for a Purple mattress, saw and see what I liked and bought it from them, was promised for mattress removal but they did not remove due to a few stain from a 13y old mattress, were they expecting a prestine condition mattress?, I should've bought it straight from Purple, last time I buy from this establishment.
Purchased bedroom furniture and kitchen table. Delivered damaged. The store takes no responsibility once you pay. Everything is jobbed out so you must track down delivery, repair, stay home for evaluations, consistently call to keep them on track it’s just a mess. From October until June we are still trying to keep them accountable for damaged table top which has chipped and is bubbling up. Be advised, drive by Ashley Furniture!

Ordered a couch after trying it out in store. Delivery was exactly when they said it would be. I like it when businesses do what they say they'll do, when they say they'll do it.
I had numerous problems with this store and the people that work there are VERY rude and unhelpful!! Order took weeks to get and was told we had prime or premium delivery that was suppose to include set up.. They came with "20" boxes dropped it and left. I will never shop here again or recommend them to ANYONE.

We ordered furniture in January. Never received a phone call. We finally contacted them to find out the furniture was not available. Now I have been fighting to get a refund. I pay with a debit card and they’re keeping my money. Asking for a letter from the bank that the bank will not give us it’s ridiculous. Spent two hours on the phone with the bank to even get a letter stating what they’re asking for but they will not provide it. It’s a scam to keep your money in their account. Do not buy from this place .
I can’t stress hard enough the difficulty and aggravation the store has created for me. I ordered my furniture in January 2022 they told me it would be ready second or third week of February. Come March I give them a call and they informed me that the furniture will not be available until much later date where I will not even be in the state. They said someone should’ve called me. Now I have no kitchen table for the house I am putting on the market. But the worst part is they won’t refund me my money. Due to the credit card having fraud two days after being at their store . So I had to wait for a new card and they still won’t credit me my money. It was a debit card also. They asked me for a letter from the bank but the bank will not provide the type of letter they are asking me for. Spent two or three hours on the phone with the bank they tell me they only have auto generated letters they can send. We provided the new card attached to the bank letterhead but that’s not good enough. They’re like accusing me of stealing trying to steal they have a name from the original purchase and we have IDs to show them but still aggravation no refund. Stressing me out

She pointed me in the right direction, was attentive when I needed her. Casey took the time to answer all of my questions, helped me pick out a beautiful bedroom set that fit my needs. Casey made my experience wonderful even with my two youngest with me.

What a great experience we had. The one we wanted was on back order till after the holidays and Steve helped us find one almost similar that would be delivered before Christmas. We got a great deal and we are very excited to get new furniture. We got the 5 year protection plan and I believe it will be worth it. My husband & I were there a few days ago, looking for a TV stand & some end tables. We found Steve to be rude & insulting, when he looked us over, down his nose, & just assumed we had a very small TV. When we told him we just bought a 65" TV, he said they didn't have any to fit that size, but he'd check the catalogue, while we browsed, & he'd get back to us. Steve didn't direct us to any end tables (or even ask what we had in mind) or offer any further assistance. We slowly perused the entire store. None of the other sales associates offered help. Steve had completrly disappeared - we never even saw him, again. I would recommend nobody waste even a moment of their valuable time in this store!

I’m surprised to see so many good reviews for the Inverness Store. While Steve was a good salesperson the store customer service is under par. I’ve emailed and called countless times to get a refund for the fireplace insert delivered to my home 2 times that was the wrong size. Brittany the customer service manager has not been successful getting my refund for over 3 months. Lots of blame placed on Corporate but no responsibility taken by the Inverness store. No follow up to my many calls and promises “you’ll get your refund in 7-10 days.” I do not recommend the Inverness store. I like my furniture but I’ll skip this store. If you pay attention to reviews Inverness Ashley give me a call to resolve.
I found what I wanted on Ashley's website. I looked around at some other furniture stores and could not find anything like what Ashley carried for the anything near the same great price. I went into my local Ashley store and Billie helped me. I showed her what I wanted to purchase and quickly and efficiently she made it happen. Looking forward to delivery.

I have been speaking to Steve on the phone regarding some furniture pieces I was looking for and he was extremely helpful. Some of the pieces were on back order so we arranged to get what I could within a couple days and he told me when the other pieces would be available. I have always been happy with Ashley and have bought furniture from them before, even recently bought a sectional and will continue to purchase from them again.

Our purchasing experience was great. The sales staff was very helpful without being pushy. However, that is where the good experience ended. Immediately after our furniture was delivered, we discovered that a chair was damaged (this may have occurred when they rolled it off the truck and it fell to the pavement). We have been trying to resolve this for well over a week now. We have called multiple times and even went back to the store. We have wasted hours on trying to get a resolution - we want a new chair. If they offer you the insurance, don't bother, it is evidently worthless.
Steve was the best! He helped me find the perfect couch after all do the sleeper sectionals were out of stock! We did this all over the phone and was even able to honor free shipping! I’m so grateful for this experience. I work in the credit card industry and have had to dispute multiple furniture companies for providing a poor experience or not delivering furniture, but I will definitely be going back to Ashley in Inverness for all of my future furniture needs!

Stopped in on a whim after a rather disappointing experience with a competitor, as I am furnishing an Airbnb. Billie was the epitome of my favorite kind of salesperson: not pushy, worked hard to find the three beds I needed at a reasonable price, friendly, understanding of my needs. Rather than do a lot of comparison shopping to maybe save a little, I bought all three beds with mattresses on the spot. While the beds will not be delivered for 4 weeks, so I cannot vouch for their quality, I would recommend Ashley and Billie Faber.
Ashley Homestore is a complete garbage company. Nearly everything I purchased was damaged. The rest was poorly built. Everyone in their customer service department should be FIRED. I will NEVER return.

I will NEVER buy from Ashley again. I had a living room set when it was delivered was clearly dark brown, I ordered Saddle. The reasoning was the showroom lighting. Happens all the time they say. Then fix the lighting. The dining set was not the right wood, but by that time I was just tired of arguing about it, so I kept it. Then I had the unpleasant experience of dealing with customer service when the wood on my coffee and end table shrank and split. Customer service dropped the ball. I sent pictures and contacted them 3 months prior to moving. The story was if you move from the delivery address it's not covered. Does that even make sense ? Needless to say after all the aggravation I will never buy Ashley again. In addition I have shared that story with many of my friends and even some people I didn't know. This was the Ashley store in Richmond VA but their policy is I'm sure the same everywhere and customer service most likely as well. The last email I sent to customer service never even got a response. Way to go Ashley, you need to step up and back your.products.

The purchase of my sofa was pleasurable and relatively simple. I paid extra for delivery and set up. BEFORE agreeing to pay the extra money for home delivery.. I specifically asked my salesperson if delivery after 5:00 p.m. during the week was possible as I work full time during the week. My salesperson assured me that delivery AFTER 5:00 p.m. is no problem.. they do it all the time. A few days later I found out that the delivery people COULDN'T GUARANTEE what time they were going to deliver my furniture , they could only Guarantee the date of delivery. After trying to reach my local Ashley Home Store where I purchased the sofa for hours.. I was unsuccessful trying to talk to a live person either at the local store OR at the Customer Service number. It takes hours to get to talk to a live person with this company. Finally after being on hold for over 30 minutes and being transferred from person to person.. I was able to talk to a person at my local store where the sofa was purchased. Ultimately, the answer from Ashley Furniture was that even though I paid extra for delivery and set up BASED ON BAD INFORMATION PROVIDED BY A EMPLOYEE OF ASHLEY FURNITURE, I was out of luck ! It was their way or no way ! DO NOT PAY EXTRA FOR DELIVERY ! This was a horrible experience. I know that sometimes things get messed up.. but this was a blatant lie or a uninformed salesperson. Either way.. I the customer got the shaft in the end. Customer Service is way at the bottom of the list of priorities with this company ! I will NEVER buy from them again

My daughter ordered a couch 2 months ago.. today she finally received her couch. Mind you only half the couch arrived! Your customer service department is lacking a whole lot. Awful experience. After we got our furniture. We bought a leather sectional that does NOT stay together, one end was on back order, told I would get it in 4-6 weeks. Bought the couch in February and still haven't seen it. The bolts on the end of the couch cut up my kids ankle and she even fell between the couch because it won't stay together. I didn't want my money back just another couch and they are honestly horrible at trying to make a customer happy. Period. Even sent out a tech, he said it won't stay together its more of a unused living room couch not an everyday sit on couch and told me there's nothing he could do.... awful.
The staff was friendly but their return policy is close to fraudulent. They arrange for delivery and set up of a bed. The bed frame bent upon an adult sitting upon the bed. They have refused to refund this item. Keep in mind that it was put together by Ashley HomeStore, not the buyers. Take advantage of their mattress prices & availability, but do not depend on them to do the right thing in regards to service.

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!! Worst customer service!!! We received our recliners January 25, 2020. We bought the furniture protection for $199. I contacted Ashley furniture 1/22/2021 before the year was up about the chair leaning to the right and basically falling apart. They sent a service tech out to assess. Then another tech came out and replaced the base. We told her right then and there the chair was still leaning. Unbelievable wait times on hold! Finally stopped in the store and they told me to contact the furniture protection folk GBS. Unbelievable wait times so I filed a claim on line with pictures! After holding this morning for another half hour to check claim status, they advised me it had been more than 30 days so it wasn’t covered! They felt they could send a service tech but it would be an additional cost!!! Someone here is responsible for this!! My husband is disabled and has herniated discs in his back. The pain has been made worse by this chair!

Do not buy from this company. I purchased a recliner 6 months ago from Ashley Furniture with the 5 year warranty protection plan. The chair starts to lean to the right. They sent a repair man to inspect and he tells us that the delivery guy must have dropped it at some time during delivery. He orders the part to fix and says when it comes to my home to call customer service and they will set up delivery. Part comes I set up appointment for repair, guy comes wrong part. We reorder part same thing wait for part call customer service set up appointment. When the repair guy replaced the part the chair still looks like it leaned to the right. Repair guy agreed and called it a failed repair and he sees no reason why they would not replace the chair because one of the screws is a quarter of an inch off so that is what is causing it to lean to the right. Ricardo Lopez called us the next day and asked if we are looking to replace the chair. I said of course I am I’ve only had the chair less than 6 months and it’s starting to fall apart. Ricardo Lopez said that because the chair still works it cannot be replaced. So my takeaway is their warranty protection plan is a scam. Their furniture is sub par at best. Their customer service is extremely horrible. I really wish I had read the customer reviews before purchasing anything from Ashley Furniture.

But...didn’t receive it for 2 months it wasn’t put together right came finally to fix it said it was ok of course it’s not. The one chair has come I sewn and finally after 3 weeks of calling finally got someone out here said oh just need a new cushion sent one the wrong one and said it wasn’t sitting right needed to order us a new one. That was 3 weeks ago. Called finally got an answer said we couldn’t get a new one till April 29th. But was going to try to get it sooner still haven’t heard from them. WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!! N E V E R!!

I purchased a pair of recliners from Ashley in Feb. 2018. Our salesman was great, but no longer works there. When we purhased the recliners, we also purchased a warranty for them. A few months later a pull cord broke that releases the foot rest. I called the warranty company and they came out and repaired it. It didn't take long before the pull cord broke again and was repaired a second time. The repair was not professionally done and the chair was not reassembled correctly. (See attached photo right arm rest.) When the pull cord broke for the 3rd time, I contacted Ashly for help. Its very difficult to communicate with them. They did send someone out to tell me that they cannot help me and that I needed to contact the warranty company again. After waiting for weeks, the warranty company said that they can longer get the replacement part from Ashley. Therefore, they were going to give me a credit on only one recliner of the pair. So rather than buying two new recliners, I put the credit toward a bedroom set. The delivery date was postponed because some of the furniture was back ordered. I asked Ashley to make sure the delivery people wore face coverings due to my daughter being a cancer patient. When the furniture finally arrived, the delivery men could not speak very good English, which I'm fine with, but they wore bandanas instead of masks and one was singing while walking in the house. When they got done they asked me to inspect the furniture while he kept yelling "good hey, good, beautiful hey." I signed the paper and they left. I opened about three or four drawers and the dresser tipped over so I had to order a bracket to attach it to the wall so no one got hurt. A week later my daughter noticed that one of the side rails were damaged on the bottom left side. The sides are made of laminated particle board. The furniture is very cheaply made. I've been a customer for years and I thought their furniture was made here in the USA. I'm done with Ashley.

The in store selection was kind of lacking. We couldn't find anything we liked at all. We would have to have picked from online selections, but we couldn't test the comfiness that way. This was not a store for us unfortunately.
Livid, lied about delivery dates... cant get a straight answer on when its going to be delivered. I was promised 11/23 and I get home and the delivery system is showing after Xmas! This has ruined my plans with family as my new home is empty with no furniture. Buy online.
Ashley Homestore has terrible communication skills with there customers! I purchased a bed and foundation and was told a date for delivery then after I purchased then was told delivery would be pushed out until Dec so I canceled and I told them I can’t wait that long that I need a bed now that I’m sleeping on a recliner so they told me to come to the store and they would upgrade my order for the same price as the first original order, So o did that and at that time they told me my delivery would be Nov 6 and that’s today and I called to check in and see around what time my delivery was for today and I took off work to be here for them. Come to find out they just told me that it has been pushed out until Nov 15 it’s now on back order and I never got a call telling me that. They say in there notes that someone has called and left me a vmail well that never happened either!! Now this is the second chance I gave them and I am done with Ashley Furniture that I canceled my order completely!!! They have horrible horrible communication skills! So unprofessional! I would never ever recommend them to anybody. Your better off going to a real furniture store, not a knock off like this one!!!! Never again!!!!
They lied about the furniture being real wood, it's not. It's pressed wood that can NOT be buffed, stained, or cleaned! They have lied to me on delivery dates for months. Finally got promised I was the first on the list for a new date & it didn't come again. RIP OFF!! They won't stop saying sorry & I'm just out a matching set I paid for or have to take the last used option that was on display 😡 Scam

First, I want to say that I never give bad reviews. I mean never! I believe that businesses can have good days and bad. Mistakes can be made, we’re only human. So, I can forgive minor mistakes. However, my recent experience with Ashley Furniture will be my last with that company. I purchased a couch and 2 outdoor chairs in June for a new house that I moved into. We had no furniture at the time and I eagerly awaited the delivery. The chairs arrived on schedule. The couch didn’t come when it was supposed to. I waited a day or 2 thinking that it was running behind due to Covid or something like that. No couch, no phone call, nothing. So, my husband and I went to the store to inquire about the couch and it turns out that the salesman never ordered it. I was then told I’d have to wait another 2 weeks. Mind you, we had been sitting in camping chairs for 3 weeks. But, ok. I agreed. We got our couch almost a month after we purchased it. About 6 weeks ago, one of the outdoor chairs broke. The metal ring at the base just gave out. I’m no heifer. This was not caused by over use or misuse. I just sat in it one day and went to the ground. So, we went back to the store. The chairs were still under a manufacturer’s warranty, luckily. Brittany at the Inverness store helped get a claim started and she said someone would call me within a week. No one called. So, I got the number and called the warranty department. The recording said that they had an unusually high call volume and to leave a message and someone would return my call within 24 to 48 hours. So, about 48 hours later a fellow named Damian called. He scheduled a service visit. Damian and Brittany earned the one star in this review, by the way. The service visit was on September 9th. The gentleman ordered the parts to fix the chair and informed me that it could take up to 2 weeks to receive them. So, we waited. After 20 days I called and left another message. No return call after 48 hours. 3 days ago I left another message. No return call. Today I went to the store and spoke to Brittany. She couldn’t give me any answers. She couldn’t call anyone to see what the hold up was, because the have no direct contact with their warehouse. Can you believe that? She said she would send an email. After all of that I still have a broken chair and no resolution. Moral of the story... don’t shop at Ashley Furniture.
So..needless to say we won't be coming back here. We purchased a leather sofa and recliner about a year ago and we are very disappointed. 1st. The couch was delivered so disfigured we could not sit on it. It took over a month for the " service dept" to repair and they eventually did. Now our recliner is falling apart. The leather on left armrest is splitting in 3 places, so we call and schedule the" warranty dept" in which we paid a few hundred dollars for to come and tell us they won't warranty because we have a oily hand? Is there such a thing as just a left oily hand? I felt insulted and sure the response was a typical BS line used to fool those who will buy it. Ashley sends a representative with No ID, no uniform, and no decals on their vehicle and the finger pointing between the store and the " extended warranty " is mainly lip service. Buyer beware. They don't even deserve 1 star. We ordered and paid for a sofa and chair and audub. We just moved here from Idaho, so we have no living room furniture, using patio furniture. They called saying delivery would be on September 10th. They called the 9th saying it's on backorder. Wouldn't be delivered till September 22. They called yesterday the 21 saying it would be delivered between 1:30 - 4:30. They called morning at 6 am saying everything is on backorder and said no one called us yesterday to sit up delivery. heading to Inverness to get our money back and cancel order I don't deal with people who call me liars. BAD BUSINESS!!!
If you need furniture go to Ashley furniture in Inverness and ask for Stephen! Great experience. And when we had issues with our delivery date they handled everything perfectly and got our furniture scheduled to come a whole month sooner. We have no living room furniture, nothing to sit on. So when we heard that our couch wouldn't be coming until November we wanted a refund. We were so pleased with how the staff handled our situation we bought more furniture! We’ll probably be going back for more in the near future.
The store is adequately staffed and the employees have great attitudes and willing to assist you. They are very knowledgeable and professional. Please do your self a favor and DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE , Less than 0 Customer service. Order bedroom set and tv stand , receive bedroom set and was missing parts and parts broken. Said They were sending a tech to fix it , took them almost a month to get parts and tech to come in and fix and by the way they glue some of the parts together with ACCORDING to the them a special glue. Now the Tv stand was supposed to receive it 1 week after purchase , 1 week later we call to make sure we were receiving it and now it was going to be 3 weeks. Now 3 weeks later we call again and now it’s on back order they don’t know what happen. We call them and they can’t do nothing , but cancel the order and after more month of waiting. I have ordered furniture from Ashley Homestore in Inverness before but I will not do so anymore. I called the store and placed my order over the phone. The lady told me it was free shipping. They delivered it yesterday and just dropped it off in boxes. First time ever they didn't put it together I was not happy, if I wanted to put furniture together I would have went to Big lots. I did call and she explained to me that because I got free shipping I had to put it together myself which was never explained to me when I first ordered it . I ordered a kitchen table that came damaged before also. I'm done with Ashley they don't seem to care once you've received your item so go somewhere else.

I really regret purchasing a couch from an Ashley furniture store and using there delivery.I was delivered an damaged couch the delivery people broke light fixture off the wall by my garage,and didn't even say that they accidentally broke it.When you call customer service takes all day to 2 weeks to get a hold of someone on the phone.They dont refund your money If you get a damaged peice of furniture,and not catch it before delivery people leave.now have to wait for a technician to look at it.If it cant be fixed they send another furniture out to you,but if they have none in the warehouse could take months.When they should just refund my money,and take the damaged couch.I will never purchase anything from another Ashley furniture store again.

I purchased a dresser from them in December and the hardware was wrong they shipped me one knob to the store 6 weeks later meanwhile nails braking to get on to this dresser they ordered a set again this time I have 5 knobs they know this dresser has 11 knobs now I'm still waiting for the remaining amount its april I'm super frustrated a gift for my son and now this Corona is not helping I'm so frustrated . They think it's funny this happened I'm super upset now

We were lied to about delivery in 3-4 days. Got email receipt that said 10-11 days. If they tell you something, get it in writing at the store before your purchase. Buyer beware. Especially here. Was told delivery between 3-7pm. At 3pm estimate time was 5-6pm. At 4pm estimate time was 7:30-8:30pm. Called the driver, and got nobody. Called the store and they know nothing. I'm disabled vet. Dad is 87 year old veteran. I'm an hour drive home with 10 year old granddaughter who needs to get to sleep before 9pm.

I only purchased the very expensive living room set because I was mislead to believe any damages would be covered under their warrenty. Having a lot of small children in my home I thought it would be worth it. Don't purchase the warranty.or the furniture.. Very untrue!!!

My experience at the Inverness store was exceptional because the man who helped us, Scott, was the most helpful person ever. He found selections for us based on what we described we wanted, he availed himself to bring us to another location when we asked about a piece that wasn’t in the store, he even helped reschedule our delivery after we made a purchase. Overall, I would shop at this Ashley location in the future based upon his sincerity and the level of customer service he provided. Thank you to Scott and Ashley for making this such a pleasant experience!

We bought an electronic double recliner a little over one year ago. We also purchased a 5 year maintenance agreement. On November 9, 2019 the recliner motor quit working with the right side of the recliner frozen in an intermediate, uncomfortable position. We called to get it fixed. We have called Ashley twice and talked to our salesman who promised to talk to his supervisor and get back with us. We received no call back. We have also called GBS, the 3rd party maintenance organization for Ashley 6 times. They made various promises and never followed through on any of their promises. We received a call today, December 23, from GBS who informed us that the repair was approved and the part should be shipped within 4 weeks. I will believe it when I see it! If they actually do what they promised it will have been about 3 months and then we can hope the service technician who is employed by yet another organization will fix it in a reasonable time. This was not our only purchase from Ashley, but will likely be our last.
They approved me but then they closed my account since I didn't use their credit card within 3 weeks. July 08, 2021 @7:05pm I guess I don't a letter or note from anyone at the CORP since I told the truth. It just wasn't fair to me for them to approve me but close my account before I could use it. I only had it a month, I had to figure out a design to create in my home but they close my account when I wenbto use my card, it was so embrassing and through me fo a loop. I wish they would consider in giving me back at a $2500.00 credit limit.

Staff at Inverness store is exceptional! Walked in there dead set on a certain mattress and left with something completely different - but better! Store is clean, and prices are clearly marked. Gina was very helpful with some information I received at a different Ashley store that left me confused and misinformed. Will definitely shop this store again in the near future.
Very unhappy with my recent experience there , we came in and ordered a dinning room set was uneasy about having it delivered after receiving it and setting up, got down to last chair and have two right piece and I needed one left price called the store and spoke to Chris he said he was going to call back and tell me what he can do I never received a call back went down to the store a 48 minutes drive and got brushed off like I was a bother for trying to get the correct piece, asked them to call management or corporate they refused , and now I’m here stuck with only 3 full chairs to my dinning room set , waiting to hear back from corporate .i will NEVER buy or recommend buying anything from Ashley’s again
This is the worst experience I’ve have had. Customer service wise , the sales associates where very unprofessional in the store , talking about inappropriate things while my kids where in the store . Felt like I was bothering them while being in the store Chris made me feel very uncomfortable and brushed off my concerns
All of the sales associates at this location are amazing! The general manager is super nice! The customer service representatives are always helpful and they’re helpful on the sales floor when sales associates are busy! I would recommend this store to anyone!
I can not say enough good things about this store. My mom and I went there several weeks ago (as well as several other furniture stores in Inverness, FL), but we found the best value and service at Ashley HomeStore. For those of you who live in Inverness, this is the old Walgreen's that was on Independence. Since that first visit, we have been back several times and decided to purchase all of our furniture (great room, study, floor lamp, lamps, decorative clock and bedroom) from Ashley. Our "designer" was Billie and she worked with us to the bitter end, going above and beyond to answer all of our questions, make recommendations as well as steer us away from things that wouldn't look just right. Our furniture won't be delivered for another two weeks, so I can't speak about the delivery, but as far as selection and service goes, we have been very, very pleased. :) I'm looking forward to going back to purchase more pieces once the "first wave" is delivered. Billie also worked with us to get the best prices available. Highly recommend so far!

No return policy .we you buy a chair and 2 days after you get it starts falling apart and it take 2 1/2 weeks to get someone to come look at it .

Poor service
My wife and I bought furniture for our new home. The sales woman named Billie was outstanding and helped us select the decor we were looking for. The GM named Gina was very professional and helpful as well. We’ve since gone back and purchased more furniture. I can say ALL the employees are exceptional. By the way, the 2 men who delivered 3 rooms of furniture were great. I give them 5 Stars as well. 👍
King Bed broke the first night because the braces were not installed right. It is going to take over a month to fix it. Poor customer service. I was polite until the customer rep went off on me because I asked her to repeat herself please. Felt like I was a kid getting yelled at. This place is awful. It took 3 weeks to actually get the furniture and they didn’t tell me that until it was paid for. They got there money and that is all they wanted. I am disgusted.

We purchased a king bedroom set, Tempur-Pedic mattress and box spring, a dining room set, a living room set, and an entertainment set between the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017. My husband purchased the extended warranty for most of the items, this was a waste of money. The bedroom set was delivered on 2-25-17 and on 1-24-19 a support leg broke. We contacted Ashley first and were then referred to the warranty company, GBS. I followed their instructions and provided pictures of the cracked leg and pictures of the serial numbers, etc. They acknowledged receipt of the photos and said they would review the claim and get back to us. I followed up with them via phone and email several times they never approved or denied the claim they just ignored us until I gave up. I ended up going over to Badcock Furniture looking for a new bed frame when their sales person Ryan told me I didn't need to replace the whole frame I could just buy a set of metal slats and support legs that would last longer and support the added weight of the Tempur-Pedic mattress better. This is something Ashley Furniture should have explained to us. We spent about $100 (less than the extended warranty we paid through Ashley) and the bed is in working order now. I will say all of the furniture we bought from Ashley looked nice at first, however, the quality is not there. The finishes on the coffee table and end tables started to come off quickly after purchase. In addition, the side of the dining table has a veneer thin like paper that started to peel off quickly as well and we rarely use that table. This was not inexpensive furniture. We are very disappointed with Ashley and will no longer buy from them in the future.
Salesperson gave us a price on item and delivery Turned out nearly $300 more on item her error in pricing. But have laptops. And also quoted us $69 delivery which was actually 140. Left again with no item. Guess they need better training.
Great place to look at furniture. We found what we where looking for and got a good deal!

Purchase wise - not bad. But when we received the product and had some issues with it (pop noise in the recliner, rips in the corners) that was when it all went downhill with their customer service. There is absolutely no communication among their different departments. For example, when a tech came out to the house to assess the issues, the store called the next day to schedule said tech to come out to the house. When I stated that a tech already came out the day prior, her response was, "Oh really? Huh." When we called the store to find out when the issues would be resolved, the response we received was, "deal with Progressive lending cuz we already got our cut". Will never step foot in this store again and we will make sure any of our friends and family do not as well.
Today was our 3rd time in the store & I have bought several pieces of furniture from this store. Our sales guy, Scott Sawyer was very friendly and knowledge. Ashley sells quality furniture at reasonable prices. I won't buy furniture from anywhere else.
There were only four people there and no one really had an idea how to do anyting on their computers. I know they weren't partying but still it was a new setup I guess. That didn't turn us away we still bought some furniture.
They tell you that a one-day sale is going on. But every thing you look at is already reduced. Then they tell you that you can either pick it up about 80 miles away or have it delivered for $70. Not impressed with these terms. You should be able to buy the one on display and take it home yourself.
High prices. And everything i wanted to look at that i saw online they didnt have.

What a horror show! From the point that I called customer service and told than they had sent us the wrong mattress to the end of my customer service conversation when they pretty much told me I am screwed. Made me pay cash because they said I wasn’t in their system ( first sign that they are crooks). I can’t sleep on mattress- too soft; I askef for a firm pillow top , but got plush only ( elder abuse). Then delivered missing hardware & sending parts so I could do it! So far I’ve put calls into Sealy mattress to no avail. Royally screwed, a villager. Next .... Calls into better business bureau Calls into my lawyer Calls into news networks (channel nine) to do investigative reporting to include a ELDER ABUSE
Small but convenient store located in an old Walgreens. Very friendly and helpful employees. Really nice selection of furniture and mattresses. If your in the market for furniture or a mattress, I recommend you stop by and visit this location.
