The guy who met us at the door was very nice and informative .... until we didnt lay down $20,000 that night for a bed he wanted to sell. He lost interest FAST and got borderline rude. He handed my husband his business card, looked at me and said "take a picture of my card so if he loses it, you'll have it" I did NOT take a picture of it and I tore the card up the second we walked away. I would absolutely not ask to speak with him again, he lost that chance when he got rude when he didnt make the sale right away. This was our first time looking at the adjustable beds and we were only in the store for 30 mins. You should be treated with kindness all the way through....regardless of a sale or not!

I purchased a sofa set about 3 years ago from this store along with a warranty package for coverage. When I filed a claim, the warranty company informed me they no longer do business with Ashley, and since the store ownership has changed, they cannot assist me. I have contacted Ashley’s office multiple times via calls and emails, but have not received help. The fabric on my sofa began peeling within a year, and now about 50% of it has peeled off. Who can help resolve this issue?

I’d give zero stars if I could. The sales team and website clearly indicated that the non-assembly delivery would be “to my doorstep”. I also clearly indicated to the sales team and on the website form when I placed my order that I lived in a second floor apartment. When the delivery finally came (after being rescheduled from its original date), the team dropped it on the first floor and informed me that they could not deliver beyond the first floor. When we called support, they tried to sell me a very costly last minute upgrade to get my item delivered. The rep said this happens all of the time and he felt for me, but that this was policy. It was pay, or do it myself in the rain. This is type of last minute extortion is a wholly unacceptable way to do business. This is the first and last time I buy anything from Ashley.

If you would like to pay an absurd amount of money for a delivery, and have them tell you it’s going to arrive between 2-5pm only to arrive at 9:45 that night, you should shop here. 0/10 would recommend, you can get the same thing from a local mom and pop furniture store and they won’t schedule too many deliveries in one day.

This place is a joke. They stated that they had our furniture we wanted in stock and readily available to be delivered within 2 weeks. It's been over 2 months and today it was supposed to be delivered. We have a house that is on a two lane road. One entire side is a preserve, so nothing is built. But the delivery drivers stated, they couldn't find the house. Im not sure how they couldn't since the homes are in chronological order and we have a large sign with the house number on it near the road. The delivery people proceeded to say they called to get assistance, but we have no missed call at all. Now, they're telling us that we have to wait an additional week to have it delivered instead of trying to deliver it the following day. I couldn't believe that this company would hire people this incompetent. This is also a rental, and now Ashley's furniture is costing us a few GRAND in lost revenue, because we have no furniture because we had the other one removed earlier today with the anticipation that our new furniture was being delivered. I asked to speak with a manager twice and still have yet to get a call. The third time I called the CS rep told me that all managers had left for the day. Seriously!? What is wrong with this company?

UPDATE! Purchased mattress and box springs on 8/8/2025. Followed up on 8/20/2025 to see when items would be delivered only to find out that we were lied to not only by Alex but the store manager. There is no ETA on the box springs because they don’t have any in stock. The earliest on the mattress we purchased would be middle of September. Who sells items out of stock and don’t disclose that with you??? So if you want to be lied to in your face please go see them. If you need to call the store, make sure you understand that they will reroute you to the call center. You won’t be able to talk to anyone at the store. The supervisor at the call center apologized and told me if I needed something today to go to the store and purchase what they had in stock. HA! The only thing I am going to do when I walk in the store is get a refund and take my money elsewhere. We had such a great experience with Alex at Ashley HomeStore in St John’s Town Center.We first met him while shopping for a mattress for my daughter. He was incredibly patient and helpful, giving us plenty of space to browse and test out mattresses without ever being pushy or hovering. Even though he’s still new and didn’t have business cards yet, he took the time to make sure we had his name for when we were ready. When we came back, Alex immediately remembered us and the exact mattresses we were considering. He really listened to our budget and worked with us to get a price that made sense. We love our chair, it’s so soft and very comfortable. I wish they were more transparent about the set up process. They made it sound like it was hard and insisted I pay for the set up service. I understand this store sells many different products but it would have been very mindful if someone told me the chair is literally 2 pieces. The delivery guys came in, and set up the chair within 15 seconds, it was almost a joke 😆 anyways that’s my only complaint because I paid extra for 2 guys to plug and play a chair for me I almost felt embarrassed

Visited your store today with every intention of purchasing a sofa & recliner. We were greeted by someone that was in his first week with Ashley. No problem at all. We all have to start somewhere. He went to find out about the sofa we were interested in. He told us it wasn’t on the floor but we could order it. And proceeded to tell us there were similar sofas on the floor. I asked if we were just supposed to browse around. He said yes. Again that’s ok I suppose. So we’re leaving the store & asked another associate if we order the sofa & don’t like it when it arrives, what happens. He said we’re responsible for the sofa. We’ve never sat on it, seen it person. We asked if he was sure. He was very dismissive. I can assure you that we are hoping to furnish our entire condo. Ashley lost business today. And this has happened in the past but we wanted to give Ashley another chance. No one cared if we gave you our business or not.

We told the sales associate multiple times during our purchase we wanted to use the in house financing instead of the wells Fargo option because we were preparing to buy a house and did not want it to affect our credit. He was VERY pushy about using the Wells Fargo option to which we declined MULTIPLE TIMES and even looked at the iPad to make sure it was the correct option. We finish our transaction and get an inquiry on our credit for WELLS FARGO credit line that DROPPED our credit score. I don't know what kind of incentive they get for pushing wells Fargo, but he was incredibly sneaky and dishonest! We will not be back!

Don’t waste your time! Miscommunication. Nothing but miscommunication. Sales went great but after the sale it goes downhill fast. They don’t tell you all the information until after you pay and sign on the dotted line. I ordered 3 mattresses. I was under the impression I was taking them home the same day. Then after payment, they tacked on 200.00 and tell you they will deliver within 1-2 weeks (which was far from accurate). Long story short. I called last week which was the two week marker bc I never heard from anyone and I was told it would be this week for delivery. I had to call again because I didn’t get a call or anything. At random I received a text wanting me to schedule for delivery another week out. So I called and Well they pushed me off another week. So at this point it almost a month before we will receive the mattresses. Absolutely ridiculous. I called customer service and still no help with a resolution. They just give you more misinformation that contradicts what other reps tell you, Basically they tell you whatever to get you off the phone. I will never order from Ashley Furniture again and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. They don’t care about their customers at all, just the money.

I just recently purchased a reclining chair from Ashley furniture at the Jaxsonville town center. I paid for an extended five-year warranty on the product before even having it shipped out to my house. I received the product and tried to put it together first it would not go together correctly. The back brush clips were turned at a 45° angle instead of straightened. When I finally got it to lock into place and have it recline, it would not recline. I reached out to customer service about the warranty. They could not find it in the system, so I sent the a receipt of my purchase showing the warranty. Astonished they then told me they would not honor the warranty that it was a store issue. I called to the store and was treated with the utmost disrespect. I was told even though I purchased the warranty, they would not honor it that I had to have a technician come out and it would cost $110. That was the first quote then another person told me they would have to charge me $119. I asked to speak to the general manager on location again instead of trying to resolve the issue and keep a happy customer. He too, would not help with the issue. I then provided the general manager A noticeable claim Statement. They were given 10 days to Before: A complaint will be filed to Attorney General’s Office – Consumer Protection Division • Filing a small claims lawsuit for the cost of the item, court fees, attorney fees, and related expenses • Reporting this incident to the Better Business Bureau and relevant public review platforms. I previously got a response email from the owner of the store who told me to go email customer relations. I did that and what a joke that was. I was treated again with the utmost disrespect. With they way customer service, their employees treat people it won’t be long before people realize this is not a place to do business with. I have purchased items prior when it was under different owners and management, it used to be a great place to do business with. This is not the case anymore. Ashley furniture has lost mine and my families business on any future purchases going forward.

Ashley’s Furniture at the St. John’s Townscenter has an extended Memorial Day sale so I stopped by to check it out. As we walked in Gerard greeted us and immediately informed us about the sale and clearance pieces throughout the store. They have such a wide selection of items that you can lose track of time in there. I was casually searching for a sectional for a small space. Gerard just happened to check in with me later to see if we had any questions. I asked what I thought was a dumb question and it turned out he had the solution for my sectional hunt!
